For sixty years, Max and Kathy Bachhuber have lived, breathed, and loved the Mississippi River—calling themselves “river rats” with pride. Their families’ roots run deep, from fishing and hunting to running businesses along the banks. Max’s father settled in Minnesota for the outdoors, while Kathy’s family traces back to a 1944 Iowa fish market.
