- 0:20Speaker 3: very intense heat wave. I am grateful and feeling good
- 0:24Speaker 3: that the AC at least in the studios work.
- 0:27Speaker 2: Yeah, it did not work out there last week a
- 0:29Speaker 2: little bit.
- 0:29Speaker 3: It was kind of like this week, it's not working
- 0:31Speaker 3: out there in the hallways of the rest of our.
- 0:34Speaker 2: Oh no, it was not. Yeah, so it's carried over
- 0:37Speaker 2: to another week.
- 0:37Speaker 4: I know.
- 0:38Speaker 2: Last week it was just it went from freezing in
- 0:41Speaker 2: here to not freezing in here, to freezing in here,
- 0:45Speaker 2: and it was just you know. But then again there
- 0:47Speaker 2: was gigantic.
- 0:48Speaker 3: I know, these portable things that they bring in to
- 0:51Speaker 3: try to cool the hallways out in the main office area.
- 0:54Speaker 3: But no, in general, we should all be very grateful
- 0:57Speaker 3: for any AC that works this week.
- 0:59Speaker 2: That's right. That's one of the things that the people
- 1:01Speaker 2: who have been visiting for the World Cup have been
- 1:03Speaker 2: impressed by America that we are in ac culture, an
- 1:08Speaker 2: air conditioned culture. That's right, we are, So be thankful
- 1:12Speaker 2: for your air conditioning and pray that it continues to
- 1:15Speaker 2: work because this won't be the last heat wave we
- 1:18Speaker 2: have this summer. I'm feeling good because I've got to
- 1:20Speaker 2: spend some time with my significant other who is on
- 1:22Speaker 2: a flight right now to Europe for work, and she's
- 1:25Speaker 2: going to be gone it zil July ninth, So it's
- 1:28Speaker 2: like another one of those extended sojourns for her that
- 1:31Speaker 2: she's got work in a multiple countries overseas. But at
- 1:36Speaker 2: least we got some time in and and that's what counts.

- 1:56Speaker 2: on now, I'm going to lock it up. Just when
- 1:58Speaker 2: you start to get closer, I have to get used
- 2:00Speaker 2: to this desk.
- 2:01Speaker 3: And it's been seven years. I think it's okay to
- 2:03Speaker 3: say you love her.
- 2:04Speaker 2: Okay, well, I do, and I hope she travels well.
- 2:07Speaker 2: And I'm bummed that I don't get to see over
- 2:09Speaker 2: the fourth of July because I know that a lot

- 21:59Speaker 2: stay right there because come up in just a few minutes. Chili,
- 22:01Speaker 2: I understand you witnessed something at the beach that's got
- 22:05Speaker 2: you hot and bobbed.
- 22:06Speaker 3: Well, yeah, we were at Nagshead last week and this
- 22:08Speaker 3: was the worst breach of beach etiquette I have seen
- 22:12Speaker 3: in years. I think you'll understand why.
- 22:16Speaker 2: With the return of the summer months comes a lot
- 22:18Speaker 2: of conversation about etiquette, Etiquette by the pole, etiquette by
- 22:22Speaker 2: the beach, Toby and Chilly in the morning. It is
- 22:24Speaker 2: ninety seven point one wash FM, Washington's variety of the
- 22:28Speaker 2: eighties nineties. Today, Chili, what is it you witnessed at
- 22:30Speaker 2: the beach that got to you asking questions? This morning?
- 22:33Speaker 3: It was the first time this has happened.
- 22:34Speaker 4: Now.
- 22:35Speaker 3: We've been going down to the Knagshead area for many,
- 22:37Speaker 3: many years, and last week when we were there, there
- 22:40Speaker 3: were a couple of guys who I guess were staying
- 22:43Speaker 3: in the same condo we were. But one day they
- 22:47Speaker 3: came up and they set up their fishing poles right
- 22:51Speaker 3: there on the surf on the beach where everybody was
- 22:53Speaker 3: trying to swim and enjoy the water. And so that
- 22:56Speaker 3: caused other people to kind of be like, Okay, well,
- 22:57Speaker 3: we can't be swimming here anymore because the hooks are
- 23:00Speaker 3: floating around. It's not safe. And so I thought that
- 23:02Speaker 3: was honestly rude of them to do that, because you
- 23:05Speaker 3: could come before people come to the beach, or you
- 23:07Speaker 3: could come at dusk after people have already left the beach,
- 23:10Speaker 3: but to be there when it's busy not cool.
- 23:13Speaker 2: I don't know. I mean, they have a right to
- 23:17Speaker 2: the beach too, you know what, if they came early
- 23:20Speaker 2: and then they stayed when other people started coming out,
- 23:22Speaker 2: and they were just they're doing their thing. That's not
- 23:25Speaker 2: what happened, I know, But what if they would have.
- 23:27Speaker 3: I think when people start to show up, you pack up,
- 23:30Speaker 3: you pack up your fishing pole. Again, this is etiquette.
- 23:34Speaker 3: I'm not talking legally, I'm not talking the law, but
- 23:37Speaker 3: etiquette says you got to go to a place where
- 23:39Speaker 3: there aren't people. Because of what I just said, you're
- 23:42Speaker 3: now making it unsafe for other people to swim.
- 23:44Speaker 2: Okay, I mean, I'm not going to say you shouldn't
- 23:47Speaker 2: go swimming around other people's hooks. That's not a good thing.
- 23:49Speaker 2: But I just think that's a lot of beach, and
- 23:52Speaker 2: there's a lot of beach for people to do a
- 23:54Speaker 2: lot of different things. Like could y'all have moved maybe
- 23:57Speaker 2: to a place where it was safer.
- 23:58Speaker 3: We were right in front where we saying where are
- 24:01Speaker 3: we moving? We're going to get into a car and
- 24:04Speaker 3: drive somewhere else.
- 24:05Speaker 2: Yeah, the beach a little bit more. I mean, obviously
- 24:07Speaker 2: they came out.
- 24:09Speaker 3: We were there first, but okay, we're talking about that.
- 24:12Speaker 3: I just think it's poor etiquette, and that is the
- 24:14Speaker 3: that is the worst breach of I think beach etiquette
- 24:18Speaker 3: I have seen in a long time.
- 24:19Speaker 2: Well, that's interesting. I'd like to hear the take of
- 24:22Speaker 2: the class on this beach etiquette thoughts on what Chili
- 24:25Speaker 2: just told you. What's the most unique or interesting or
- 24:29Speaker 2: worst breach of quote beach etiquette end of quote that
- 24:34Speaker 2: you've ever seen? Could be by the beach, maybe even
- 24:36Speaker 2: by the pool. Give us a call, tell us everything,
- 24:38Speaker 2: and we'll talk about this coming up in just a
