Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: All right, well it's March Madness day two. But what
- 0:03Speaker 1: I want to talk about today is a couple of
- 0:07Speaker 1: things and why this podcast will continue its war coverage
- 0:14Speaker 1: because this podcast is inspired by the likes of CBS
- 0:20Speaker 1: News' own Edward R. Murrow and now here is Edward R.
- 0:26Speaker 1: Merreall this is the news, and in honor of that
- 0:31Speaker 1: and the honor of the origins of CBS News, the
- 0:35Speaker 1: rest of this broadcast, sorry, the rest of this podcast
- 0:40Speaker 1: will be in as if you're listening to it on
- 0:43Speaker 1: AM radio back in the day.
- 0:48Speaker 2: This is the news, and I'll tell you what. Well,
- 0:52Speaker 2: look at Alex Media. We'll continue the coverage of the news.
- 0:55Speaker 2: And I feel you're not gonna get anywhere else. I mean,
- 0:58Speaker 2: maybe you did here today from Routers that we are
- 1:02Speaker 2: deploying sailors and marines and others military personnel coordin to
- 1:10Speaker 2: Reuters to the Middle East, not to Iran, but to
- 1:14Speaker 2: the Middle East. Three US officials told Routers, you know why,
- 1:20Speaker 2: and it's about one hundred years old. CBS News was around.
- 1:24Speaker 2: You know why CBS News and others were so vital
- 1:28Speaker 2: because back then they reported the news. This podcasts one
- 1:32Speaker 2: look up ALEX News because We're not going to give
- 1:34Speaker 2: you the total opinion. We're going to give you the news.
- 1:39Speaker 2: And I feel like that's a dying art in media today.
- 1:43Speaker 2: I feel like it's all opinion and bluster and all that.
- 1:45Speaker 2: But who's actually telling you everything, or at least trying
- 1:50Speaker 2: to about how our tax dollars are being paid about
- 1:53Speaker 2: the news that counts. And so when I saw the
- 1:57Speaker 2: US military deploying thousands of additional means and sailors to
- 2:01Speaker 2: the Middle East to basically open up the straight up
- 2:05Speaker 2: horm moves. Remember earlier this week NATO said, no, we're
- 2:08Speaker 2: not going to help you with that endeavor. Well, it's notable.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Last night I noted the F thirty five US airplane
- 2:18Speaker 2: was shot down by Iran. Notable six years ago. This
- 2:22Speaker 2: podcast started to really take off because I was telling
- 2:24Speaker 2: you COVID update by COVID update. We had a war
- 2:27Speaker 2: against COVID really back then, and we had to fight
- 2:32Speaker 2: it by staying in and staying in force. Now we're
- 2:37Speaker 2: watching our forces six years later do the job now.
- 2:44Speaker 2: Do I think Iran thought we were weak because of
- 2:48Speaker 2: the poor military strategy of leaving Afghanistan five years ago?
- 2:53Speaker 2: Do I think that'sat a domino effect. Absolutely, absolutely I do.
- 3:01Speaker 2: But this should not lead us to troops on the ground.
- 3:05Speaker 2: I understand the seas, I understand the aerial I understand that,
- 3:10Speaker 2: and that's all it should get to. I see Trump
- 3:14Speaker 2: on the UH on the TV today wanting to take
- 3:18Speaker 2: over the island of karg which is one of the
- 3:22Speaker 2: military and nuclear power sites for Iran. He also said
- 3:26Speaker 2: he considers that we've won and they're finished. Yet they
- 3:32Speaker 2: did three public hangings yesterday. I don't think Iran's finished.
- 3:37Speaker 2: I think they're trying to rebuild right now, and that's dangerous.
- 3:41Speaker 2: So if we can know that all these forces that
- 3:43Speaker 2: we're sending out there are going to be effective, then
- 3:51Speaker 2: that's what we need to see. If these forces can
- 3:54Speaker 2: open the straight of her moves without losing their life,
- 3:57Speaker 2: then it will be an operation success now, and killing
- 4:00Speaker 2: Committee was successful. But and I know I'm opining a bit,
- 4:06Speaker 2: but the basis here is there's gonna be story after
- 4:10Speaker 2: story about this conflict, about this war that you need
- 4:15Speaker 2: to know about, that you need to hear about. And
- 4:18Speaker 2: I'd be like, at one, look up, Alex Media, you're
- 4:21Speaker 2: gonna get that. Because I'm very intrigued to see where
- 4:25Speaker 2: this goes? Are you? Are you wondering where we go
- 4:29Speaker 2: next with this? You see thousands of military personnel being deployed.
- 4:34Speaker 2: Doesn't it get you worried, concerned, wondering or do you
- 4:38Speaker 2: feel safer by that? Give me a note at Alex
- 4:43Speaker 2: g NYC at alex genyc dot com or Alex at
- 4:48Speaker 2: ALEXGNYC dot com, Alex at ALEXGNYC dot com, because I
- 4:53Speaker 2: think this strategy will only work if we eliminate this
- 5:00Speaker 2: impass as straight of Hormoz and if we, as I
- 5:05Speaker 2: said last night, elminate the entire regime. Those are the
- 5:09Speaker 2: two options right now, and anything less this would not
- 5:15Speaker 2: be a total success. Anything less than that would not
- 5:18Speaker 2: make this a total success. Because look we've seen them.
- 5:21Speaker 2: They're replacing Kamanie. Yeah, the Ayatota was there for thirty
- 5:26Speaker 2: what thirty six, thirty seven years or more since the revolution,
- 5:30Speaker 2: seventy nine forty seven years of this. But they're like
- 5:37Speaker 2: an organism that when it loses a limb or something,
- 5:40Speaker 2: can just generate it back. And that's what's happened here.
- 5:46Speaker 2: And this operation will be successful if there are no
- 5:54Speaker 2: regime members left. In a way, I want to applaud this,
- 6:02Speaker 2: but in the way it makes me nervous. We're sending
- 6:05Speaker 2: more troops to the Middle East. That's alarming, and it'll
- 6:11Speaker 2: only turn out for the good if we can open
- 6:17Speaker 2: up the train over moves. And as we always say,
- 6:23Speaker 2: if you know, it's better to do things yourself. And
- 6:28Speaker 2: I think the US is seeing that when even our
- 6:32Speaker 2: allies don't want to help. We are a long way
- 6:36Speaker 2: away from these days. And now here is Edward armorle.
- 6:44Speaker 2: This is the news. And I don't just mean the
- 6:48Speaker 2: reporting of the news. I mean the news. In the
- 6:51Speaker 2: nineteen forties, you were hearing the allies we're supporting, We're
- 6:55Speaker 2: supporting the US in their endeavors. Now they're not. I'll
- 7:04Speaker 2: beat that drum every day. Just because it's a different
- 7:06Speaker 2: present you may not agree with, doesn't mean you stop
- 7:09Speaker 2: supporting the country. Let me say that one more time.
- 7:15Speaker 2: Just because you don't like who's in office doesn't mean
- 7:17Speaker 2: you stop supporting the country. And I even mean those
- 7:22Speaker 2: that are in the country. Okay, I also meet it
- 7:26Speaker 2: for that, dude. So here we go. Could this be
- 7:35Speaker 2: the beginning of more troops on the of troops on
- 7:38Speaker 2: the ground, or can we just sustain it at C
- 7:44Speaker 2: that's the ideal, that's what they want to do. But
- 7:47Speaker 2: I'll keep an eye up for you at one Lego
- 7:50Speaker 2: alex Media
