- 0:00Speaker 1: Scrubbing In with Becca Tilly and Tanya rat An iHeartRadio podcast.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Hello everybody, we are scrubbing.
- 0:11Speaker 1: In scrub dub dub and the tubitub tub.
- 0:17Speaker 2: You're looking tan really yeah, thank you. I did Mexico glow.
- 0:23Speaker 1: I did not spend time in the sun. I was
- 0:25Speaker 1: under every umbrella known to mankind.
- 0:27Speaker 2: Did you do self? Tan? No?
- 0:29Speaker 1: I put a little bronzer on. Oh yeah, but it
- 0:31Speaker 1: was very dark this morning, so maybe I put a
- 0:33Speaker 1: little too much on.
- 0:34Speaker 2: No, maybe it's a color that's a good color on you.
- 0:36Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 0:36Speaker 2: She has a nice little uh green sage green.
- 0:39Speaker 1: Yeah, my wedding color. Oh it was my wedding color.
- 0:43Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, the hints of green.
- 0:46Speaker 1: Yeah yeah.
- 0:47Speaker 2: How where do we begin? You've been going NonStop since
- 0:49Speaker 2: I saw you.
- 0:51Speaker 1: She's she's been gone girl. She's been a gone girl.
- 0:54Speaker 2: She's been a gone girl. She's been gone at Jonas Klan.
- 0:58Speaker 1: Yes, got it, Jonas On.
- 1:00Speaker 2: First of all, tell us how much you love the
- 1:03Speaker 2: Jonahs brothers.
- 1:04Speaker 1: I love the Jonahs brothers so much, and I honestly
- 1:09Speaker 1: they thanked me like multiple times, and their entire team
- 1:13Speaker 1: thanked me multiple times, saying like we know you just
- 1:15Speaker 1: got married. Thank you so much for like coming out
- 1:17Speaker 1: here for this. They stopped down in the middle of
- 1:19Speaker 1: the show and like told everybody at the show to
- 1:22Speaker 1: congratulate me on my wedding. Wow.
- 1:25Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:25Speaker 1: And then I was sitting before I had like my
- 1:27Speaker 1: little thing that I was going there for. I was
- 1:30Speaker 1: watching their show from like the front railings, and Joe
- 1:33Speaker 1: saw me and he mouthed, wow.
- 1:37Speaker 2: Wait did anyone film the whole arena saying congratulations?
- 1:42Speaker 1: But I'm sure somewhere on the interwetion.
- 1:46Speaker 2: We didn't get any footage of that.
- 1:48Speaker 1: I'm sure it's somewhere because it was live streamed.
- 1:50Speaker 2: How was the event?
- 1:52Speaker 1: It was crazy? Yeah, I've never I've never heard of
- 1:56Speaker 1: the American Dream Mall. There's a there is.
- 2:03Speaker 3: Monument.
- 2:04Speaker 1: Yeah, there's like a mountain that you can ski on
- 2:07Speaker 1: in there.
- 2:07Speaker 3: There is three theme parks in there.
- 2:10Speaker 1: Three the three theme parks. There's a water park in
- 2:12Speaker 1: there like it is in New Jersey.
- 2:17Speaker 2: Is it bigger than Mall of America?
- 2:18Speaker 3: Mall of America is technically larger, but American Dream is
- 2:22Speaker 3: more ambitious.
- 2:22Speaker 1: I think it was crazy, Like I literally fly in
- 2:25Speaker 1: the day of Jonas Khan and I go straight to
- 2:28Speaker 1: the venue and I'm like have like my suitcase with me,
- 2:30Speaker 1: and I walk up and I was like, oh my gosh, did.
- 2:34Speaker 2: You go skiing?
- 2:35Speaker 1: I wanted to, I didn't have enough time ski. Yeah,
- 2:39Speaker 1: skiing people rolling up. I saw people rolling up with
- 2:41Speaker 1: like their boards and stuff. They have snow snow.
- 2:46Speaker 3: It's like a whole like ski run inside.
- 2:49Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:49Speaker 3: And then there's like a Nickelodeon theme park with slime
- 2:52Speaker 3: and there's so much stuff there at the American Dream
- 2:55Speaker 3: Dreams Come True.
- 2:57Speaker 2: Crazy So that's where they did the convention.
- 3:00Speaker 1: Yeah. So like basically I flew in that day, so
- 3:03Speaker 1: I only really saw the thing that I was there for,
- 3:06Speaker 1: which was like the keynote, the like the main performance
- 3:09Speaker 1: of the night.
- 3:09Speaker 2: Uh huh.
- 3:10Speaker 1: But they had like tons of other stuff like the
- 3:12Speaker 1: whole day. There was like stuff going on at Jonas Beach,
- 3:15Speaker 1: like at like I'm guessing that was at the water park,
- 3:17Speaker 1: and like they had like different performances that they were doing.
- 3:20Speaker 1: Chicks in the Office did like a live podcast, Like
- 3:22Speaker 1: they had all these different stages going. They were like
- 3:24Speaker 1: constantly performing meet and greets. It was just like madness.
- 3:28Speaker 2: Wow.
- 3:28Speaker 1: Yeah, it was crazy.
- 3:30Speaker 2: Wow. Yeah, so it looked like so you were just
- 3:32Speaker 2: like meeting fans and then they were asking questions.
- 3:35Speaker 1: Yeah. So basically like I was the faan liaison between
- 3:38Speaker 1: the Jonas brothers and the fans, and so I would
- 3:41Speaker 1: get go to ask the fan like their their story
- 3:43Speaker 1: about the jo that they have about the Jones brothers,
- 3:45Speaker 1: and then they got basically got to live request a song.
- 3:48Speaker 1: So they would like request what song they wanted them,
- 3:50Speaker 1: the Jonas brothers would play it, and then I would
- 3:51Speaker 1: go to the next fan.
- 3:52Speaker 2: If you got to live request the song, what would
- 3:54Speaker 2: you live request?
- 3:55Speaker 1: Probably celebrate. It's kind of my vibe right now.
- 3:57Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, you celebrate.
- 3:59Speaker 1: Yeah hmm.
- 4:01Speaker 4: Let me go deep into my Jonas knowledge love love the.
- 4:10Speaker 1: Sucker, Yeah sure, I love sucker Yeah yeah yeah.
- 4:14Speaker 2: Or when you look me in the eye.
- 4:16Speaker 1: Oh yes, somebody did request that one.
- 4:17Speaker 2: That's a good one.
- 4:18Speaker 1: And it was actually cute. There was a fan who
- 4:19Speaker 1: walked down the aisle at her wedding to like a
- 4:22Speaker 1: Jonah's brothers.
- 4:22Speaker 2: Oh yeah, like she got married at Jonas Cohn No no, no,
- 4:26Speaker 2: but it was cute. I was like, oh, new bride,
- 4:28Speaker 2: y'all could have waited and probably made that happen, yeah,
- 4:32Speaker 2: next time, yeah, renewal. Yeah.
- 4:34Speaker 1: But they were just like so sweet and I always
- 4:38Speaker 1: talked about how much I love them. And then after
- 4:39Speaker 1: Jonahs Conn, we all went there like they had like
- 4:41Speaker 1: a big dinner at one of the restaurants there, and
- 4:43Speaker 1: so we all went to dinner and it was cute.
- 4:46Speaker 2: Listen. I will say, since I've been doing this podcast,
- 4:48Speaker 2: one thing you have been consistent about is how wonderful
- 4:51Speaker 2: the Jonas brothers are and their teams. Yes.
- 4:54Speaker 1: So, and like even Nick, who I'm the least closest to,
- 4:57Speaker 1: was like went above and beyond to like thank me
- 5:00Speaker 1: and congratulate me. And I was like, they're just humble,
- 5:05Speaker 1: That's what they are. They're grateful for what they have
- 5:07Speaker 1: and I love that.
- 5:09Speaker 2: I just like that they you know, they split, they
- 5:11Speaker 2: did their own thing, they come back together their unit. Yeah,
- 5:15Speaker 2: it's cool.
- 5:16Speaker 1: But oh they're and they're doing so much, Like they
- 5:18Speaker 1: have so much going on. I was like, what, you
- 5:19Speaker 1: guys have a Christmas movie and a Christmas album and
- 5:22Speaker 1: like a tour and a new album and Nick's on
- 5:25Speaker 1: Broadway and Kevin's got shows and Joe's doing a solo.
- 5:29Speaker 1: Like they're all just like thriving.
- 5:30Speaker 2: Yeah, we love to see it. Yeah, is Joe dating anyone?
- 5:35Speaker 1: I didn't see him with anybody, dang, But I didn't.
- 5:38Speaker 2: Get any trying to get us scrubbing in it.
- 5:40Speaker 1: No exclusive here, Okay. I was solo at the dinner, Okay. Well,
- 5:43Speaker 1: I mean we were all together.
- 5:45Speaker 2: Because I saw there was like this video or TikTok
- 5:47Speaker 2: and it was the whole family on stage with and
- 5:50Speaker 2: it was all the guy Kevin and Nick with Priyanka
- 5:54Speaker 2: and Danielle, and then everyone was like, Joe, do you
- 5:57Speaker 2: need someone to come be stand with you.
- 6:00Speaker 1: Oh. By the way, somebody was telling me that there
- 6:02Speaker 1: was like videos posted a Preanca like looked like she
- 6:04Speaker 1: looked she looked like she was like having a horrible time.
- 6:07Speaker 1: I'm not I don't really look on TikTok, but apparently
- 6:09Speaker 1: this was like all over TikTok.
- 6:11Speaker 2: Huh. I.
- 6:12Speaker 1: I was there and Pryanka was having the time of
- 6:14Speaker 1: her life, like she was like hands up, dancing, singing,
- 6:17Speaker 1: And so it just goes to show you the narrative
- 6:19Speaker 1: that can come out of some of these things, like
- 6:21Speaker 1: maybe she had like something stuck in her pants or something.
- 6:23Speaker 1: She'd be like, oh your face and like somebody got.
- 6:26Speaker 2: It, you know what I mean?
- 6:27Speaker 1: And like that's the narrative, is that she's having like
- 6:29Speaker 1: a horrible time.
- 6:29Speaker 2: Or maybe it just wasn't her favorite song, Like maybe
- 6:32Speaker 2: she was just having one of the moments in a
- 6:34Speaker 2: concert where you're just kind of relaxing. Yeah, you're just
- 6:38Speaker 2: like chilling.
- 6:39Speaker 5: Yeah, did you mention something in her pants? Theory?
- 6:42Speaker 1: Yeah, in her pants and she was like, ah, you know,
- 6:45Speaker 1: like mid a face. And then that's the narrative that
- 6:47Speaker 1: gets like a spread all over. So I can say
- 6:49Speaker 1: I can combat that theory. And from TikTok, I was
- 6:51Speaker 1: there live watching Prianka having the time of her life.
- 6:55Speaker 2: I've had a tag stuck in my pants before. I
- 6:58Speaker 2: made a disgruntled face when that happened. So we get it.
- 7:03Speaker 1: Yeah, we get it. Yeah. So that was on Sunday night,
- 7:05Speaker 1: and then I was supposed to fly back to LA
- 7:07Speaker 1: that Monday, but Sophia's movie premiere was in New York
- 7:12Speaker 1: on Tuesday, and so I asked my lovely bosses at iHeart,
- 7:16Speaker 1: I said, can I please work from New York for
- 7:19Speaker 1: an extra day so that I can make it to
- 7:20Speaker 1: surprise her for the premiere. Everybody said yes, and so
- 7:25Speaker 1: I stayed in New York for an extra two days
- 7:27Speaker 1: so that I could make it for the premiere of Lifeless.
- 7:30Speaker 2: And how was it?
- 7:31Speaker 1: It's so fun, so fun. But the funniest part is
- 7:34Speaker 1: that I always knew she was having this premiere in
- 7:36Speaker 1: New York on that day and Robbie and I couldn't
- 7:40Speaker 1: attend because it was in the middle of the work
- 7:42Speaker 1: week and we live in LA And so she threw
- 7:44Speaker 1: a screening in LA so that Robbie and I could
- 7:47Speaker 1: see it before it came out, specifically because we weren't
- 7:50Speaker 1: going to the New York one. So I was like,
- 7:51Speaker 1: I'm going to the LA one. And little does she
- 7:54Speaker 1: know that, like, I'm going to see it again in
- 7:56Speaker 1: two days.
- 7:56Speaker 2: Was she surprised? She was very surprised. That's so fun.
- 8:00Speaker 1: It was really cute. I end up surprising her the
- 8:01Speaker 1: day before at lunch.
- 8:03Speaker 2: Her movie is number one again. She is Netflix Darling Darling. Yes,
- 8:09Speaker 2: And a lot of people are saying the Lifeless is
- 8:13Speaker 2: encouraging people to break up with their boyfriends.
- 8:16Speaker 1: Which I understand.
- 8:17Speaker 2: Why did you watch it? Yeah?
- 8:18Speaker 1: Okay, because basically there's four questions that you need to Okay,
- 8:24Speaker 1: actually we should probably like sh no, no.
- 8:28Speaker 2: For that.
- 8:29Speaker 1: Okay, So there are four questions you need to ask
- 8:32Speaker 1: yourself if you're dating somebody, if they are going to
- 8:34Speaker 1: be like, if that's true love, if that's your life partner?
- 8:38Speaker 2: Do we have the four questions? I only have three?
- 8:40Speaker 1: No, there's four.
- 8:41Speaker 5: These are from the.
- 8:42Speaker 1: Movie, from the movie The Lifeless, and so basically people
- 8:44Speaker 1: were seeing this movie and realizing that their partner doesn't
- 8:47Speaker 1: check all the box, doesn't answer yes to all the questions,
- 8:49Speaker 1: so they're dumping them. Uh, oh, is your partner kind?
- 8:54Speaker 1: Do they help you become your best self? Can you
- 8:58Speaker 1: picture them as the parent of your few your child?
- 9:02Speaker 1: There's one more.
- 9:07Speaker 2: Out you better tune into Netflix on the.
- 9:13Speaker 5: Show I'll take care of ok Yeah.
- 9:14Speaker 2: So basically it's it's it was a and without spoiling it,
- 9:20Speaker 2: it it was just a list of questions that she
- 9:23Speaker 2: was in a relationship that made her go like, wait,
- 9:25Speaker 2: am I wasting my life with someone who doesn't check
- 9:29Speaker 2: these four boxes?
- 9:30Speaker 5: Yeah? The other one is can I tell him everything
- 9:32Speaker 5: in my heart?
- 9:33Speaker 2: Yes?
- 9:33Speaker 1: Yeah, you tell him everything in my heart?
- 9:36Speaker 2: Is your is your person kind? Can you tell them anything?
- 9:40Speaker 2: Do they make you feel safe? Can you see them
- 9:43Speaker 2: as a parent to your future child and do they
- 9:45Speaker 2: make are you your best self because they're in your life? Yeah?
- 9:50Speaker 1: But I love that it's making people break up with
- 9:52Speaker 1: their partners, like they're like nope, nope, well they're out.
- 9:55Speaker 2: It was so crazy because I was watching the movie
- 9:58Speaker 2: and there's a scene where she's playing Sophia's playing the piano,
- 10:02Speaker 2: and I was like, I wonder if she had to
- 10:04Speaker 2: learn the piano, and so I texted her and I
- 10:06Speaker 2: was like, I've always wanted to learn how to play piano.
- 10:08Speaker 2: And I was like, I just like, was is that
- 10:10Speaker 2: on my lifeless inspiring? Is it that I've always wanted
- 10:14Speaker 2: to like learn to play piano but I've always That.
- 10:18Speaker 1: Scene to me is so funny because she's like at
- 10:20Speaker 1: this like piano recital kids kids, all.
- 10:23Speaker 2: Yeah, if I took lessons and ended up like the
- 10:26Speaker 2: end of my lessons was recital.
- 10:27Speaker 1: Did you cry a lot during the movie?
- 10:30Speaker 2: No, I didn't cry a lot. But I am a
- 10:32Speaker 2: garden So I was like, just like in it, I
- 10:37Speaker 2: got your first.
- 10:38Speaker 5: Time had a good movie to garden before.
- 10:45Speaker 1: A good gardening movie. I don't garden much, but if
- 10:49Speaker 1: I were to garden, I want a garden to see
- 10:52Speaker 1: like knocked up or something, not like the lifeless.
- 10:55Speaker 2: Random sometimes in the garden it's like introspective gardening, and
- 11:00Speaker 2: so it was more of like wow, like that was
- 11:02Speaker 2: really deep and insightful. But yeah, she crushes everything she's in.
- 11:09Speaker 1: Yeah, such a good time in New York.
- 11:12Speaker 2: Yeah, did y'all rage?
- 11:13Speaker 1: We rage, like literally raged so hard. And my friend
- 11:17Speaker 1: Bo was there because his client is like one of
- 11:20Speaker 1: the main guys in the movie too, the lawyer.
- 11:22Speaker 2: The lawyer. Yeah, so cute. Anything else, I don't know.
- 11:27Speaker 2: I think you had to meet him though, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 11:30Speaker 1: So actually it's spoiler alert. Actually it's not really spoiler,
- 11:33Speaker 1: but the very final scene in the movie that that
- 11:36Speaker 1: they show in the movie. I was there while they
- 11:38Speaker 1: were filming that scene. So we went to New York
- 11:41Speaker 1: last year for Sophia's birthday. I don't know if you remember, Yeah,
- 11:44Speaker 1: and we went to set one night that she was
- 11:45Speaker 1: filming and we watched them that was the scene. So
- 11:48Speaker 1: when I got to see it in the movie, I
- 11:49Speaker 1: was like, oh my gosh, I saw that scene five times.
- 11:52Speaker 2: I wish you could have been an extra, I.
- 11:54Speaker 1: Know, but there was no extras in that scene.
- 11:56Speaker 2: Oh. It was like just the two of them. Well,
- 11:59Speaker 2: the there was this oh okay, yeah yeah wow yeah
- 12:04Speaker 2: full circle. Move was full circle.
- 12:05Speaker 1: But yeah, we had like a really really good time.
- 12:07Speaker 1: I felt like when I was in New York, I
- 12:10Speaker 1: walked to work, which I never do. I take ubers
- 12:13Speaker 1: everywhere because I don't have a sense of direction in
- 12:14Speaker 1: New York, and.
- 12:15Speaker 2: I was walking them up, so don't guide you.
- 12:19Speaker 1: I feel like they always like like they never know
- 12:22Speaker 1: what side you're an exit the building on, so they
- 12:24Speaker 1: start pointing you one way and then you exit the
- 12:26Speaker 1: building and it's like you went the wrong way. Like
- 12:30Speaker 1: twenty minutes onto your walk.
- 12:31Speaker 3: The street signs are completely yeah see, but not this time.
- 12:35Speaker 1: Your girl was walking to work every day.
- 12:37Speaker 2: I felt like Carrie Bradshaw. I'm literally like to the
- 12:41Speaker 2: iHeart Studio.
- 12:42Speaker 1: Yes, I was like I own the city.
- 12:44Speaker 5: Like, by the way, we're bringing the whole family to
- 12:46Speaker 5: New York in August, and we're very excited about it.
- 12:48Speaker 5: You just a vacation, you know, We've all of our
- 12:51Speaker 5: vacations are to Wisconsin. Yeah, which is lovely, but we
- 12:54Speaker 5: haven't done much else. So we have a week in
- 12:56Speaker 5: August with nothing going on, and so we went and
- 12:58Speaker 5: we found a dance in tent and the musical theater
- 13:01Speaker 5: intensive for each of my daughters to do while we're
- 13:03Speaker 5: in New York. And they are so freaking out excited.
- 13:06Speaker 5: Oh wow, they're really losing their minds about it. They
- 13:09Speaker 5: can't wait.
- 13:10Speaker 1: Oh what are you guys gonna do in New York?
- 13:12Speaker 5: I mean musical Yes, definitely do some of that, and
- 13:16Speaker 5: sight see and pizza tour.
- 13:19Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, sure she would never, but I did it
- 13:24Speaker 2: last year.
- 13:24Speaker 1: A pizza tour. Yes, I mean yes.
- 13:29Speaker 5: To restaurant trying pizza, trying.
- 13:31Speaker 1: Their different pizzas. One Joe's Pizza.
- 13:34Speaker 2: Oh, they have that hair they do in Los.
- 13:38Speaker 1: Angeles, right down the street from me.
- 13:39Speaker 2: I get it all the time.
- 13:40Speaker 1: Not the same Joe's in New York.
- 13:42Speaker 2: Yeah, there's no way sure, because my mom and I
- 13:44Speaker 2: got Joe's when we went to New York, and then
- 13:46Speaker 2: I saw that they opened one here. It's Joe's New
- 13:48Speaker 2: York Pizza.
- 13:49Speaker 1: Well, someone must tell my busband because he's gonna be
- 13:52Speaker 1: very excited. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I just feel good.
- 13:56Speaker 2: Well, that's very exciting. I love the thing about New
- 13:59Speaker 2: York is that you do feel like you own the
- 14:02Speaker 2: city when you're there. Like that, You're like I could
- 14:04Speaker 2: live here. Yeah, like, oh, you walk everywhere. I got
- 14:07Speaker 2: all my steps in wasn't even thinking about it.
- 14:09Speaker 1: This is the best part too, So like they gave
- 14:12Speaker 1: them my name at the check in and iHeart. In
- 14:14Speaker 1: New York, you have to like scan your badge to
- 14:16Speaker 1: get up to the elevator, so I have like my
- 14:18Speaker 1: own faux badge for the few days that I was there.
- 14:21Speaker 1: So I'm like scanning my thing, and I'm setting up
- 14:24Speaker 1: all my stuff and I'm like, oh, I have twenty
- 14:26Speaker 1: five minutes till we start. Let me just find my
- 14:28Speaker 1: coffee shop. I found my little local coffee shop, walked
- 14:30Speaker 1: to it, got my little coffee and breakfast every day,
- 14:33Speaker 1: walked back Like I literally felt like I owned the
- 14:36Speaker 1: city this time.
- 14:37Speaker 2: So this is interesting because this morning she texts me
- 14:40Speaker 2: and she's like, Becca, I need a snack. What do
- 14:43Speaker 2: you have? And I'm like, the only thing I have
- 14:44Speaker 2: that you would eat is a Chumps And I was
- 14:46Speaker 2: thinking cheers. Whole Foods literally across the street. But being
- 14:51Speaker 2: in LA is different than New York.
- 14:53Speaker 1: Yeah, I get about that, Honestly, I literally forgot about
- 14:56Speaker 1: that Whole Foods. And I've been starving.
- 14:58Speaker 2: Yeah, she's hour Robert Chompson. She put her nose up
- 15:02Speaker 2: to it. Again.
- 15:03Speaker 1: I don't want metal in my body. You've ate the.
- 15:05Speaker 2: Chops every time I've every time I've brought it.
- 15:08Speaker 1: I was into chomps for a minute and then I
- 15:09Speaker 1: saw those reports that they have like metal in them.
- 15:11Speaker 1: Now well some yeah, so now I'm off of them. Okay, okay, I'd.
- 15:17Speaker 3: Like a little one flavor that had the metal fragments.
- 15:20Speaker 1: Two flavors, uh, Turkey and the jolopano ones, which are
- 15:24Speaker 1: the ones that complaine.
- 15:25Speaker 2: Oh anyways, so I forget.
- 15:29Speaker 1: I said, why didn't you tell me the who do
- 15:32Speaker 1: I have to tell you.
- 15:33Speaker 3: About from every morning?
- 15:36Speaker 1: I'm not in my right mind.
- 15:38Speaker 2: Also, we have to talk about something with the shared location.
- 15:41Speaker 2: But first we're going to take a break. What Okay,
- 16:05Speaker 2: So this morning I had I was like trying to
- 16:09Speaker 2: finish tech stuff and I had a work call, and
- 16:11Speaker 2: so I was like rushing trying to get to the podcast,
- 16:13Speaker 2: and Tanie's asking if I can bring a snack, and
- 16:15Speaker 2: then I offer a snack. She's like, no, I don't
- 16:17Speaker 2: want that, and she's like did you leave yet? And
- 16:19Speaker 2: I'm like, why am I having to think about responding
- 16:22Speaker 2: to this text about me leaving when I share my
- 16:25Speaker 2: location with you for this question.
- 16:30Speaker 1: So in that moment, when I looked at your location,
- 16:35Speaker 1: it said you were home, and it was it was
- 16:38Speaker 1: not a time where you shouldn't be home. So I
- 16:40Speaker 1: was like, there's no way she hasn't left her house yet.
- 16:42Speaker 1: It's eleven fifty seven or fifty three whatever show at noon,
- 16:46Speaker 1: and yeah, we do the show at noon. So it's like,
- 16:48Speaker 1: there's no way she hasn't left her house yet. So
- 16:50Speaker 1: I wanted to see if it was like my life,
- 16:52Speaker 1: if my life list, if my find my was delayed,
- 16:56Speaker 1: or if you really were so a home, which now
- 16:58Speaker 1: I know you were really in fact at home because
- 17:01Speaker 1: you were late.
- 17:03Speaker 5: Yes, yes, the texture to double check the look.
- 17:06Speaker 2: So here's the thing. I might remove my shared location.
- 17:10Speaker 2: It's not going to be used.
- 17:12Speaker 3: If you're going to.
- 17:15Speaker 1: I will rephrase my text message to say please leave
- 17:19Speaker 1: now we do the podcast.
- 17:20Speaker 2: On time and do that either I don't get to
- 17:23Speaker 2: remove you.
- 17:27Speaker 1: Now. We do the podcast at noon every Monday.
- 17:31Speaker 2: If you're not, if you're not already here working on
- 17:34Speaker 2: a day, you're late almost every time I've gotten here
- 17:37Speaker 2: so many times earlier, confirm Heather Relm.
- 17:41Speaker 1: So I was here prompt early. I was here before you, Yes.
- 17:45Speaker 2: But I was still here. I would just like to say,
- 17:48Speaker 2: if Tony didn't have to be here earlier for her
- 17:51Speaker 2: her other job, there would be more inconsistencies with who's
- 17:55Speaker 2: here first.
- 17:55Speaker 1: Well, we'll never know, will we, But I would like
- 18:00Speaker 1: to say we do do it every Monday at noon.
- 18:04Speaker 3: She knows that.
- 18:06Speaker 2: Five today, I was under ten minutes late.
- 18:09Speaker 1: But that's still late.
- 18:10Speaker 2: It is still late. But you can hear like two,
- 18:13Speaker 2: not every week. You're here already.
- 18:17Speaker 5: Also, do you know much food there is on the
- 18:19Speaker 5: fourth floor? Down there, there's a whole room full of
- 18:21Speaker 5: concession area. It's like a vending machine, but a room.
- 18:24Speaker 2: All right, thank you.
- 18:28Speaker 1: I'm not so aware of things right now. I'm very
- 18:30Speaker 1: tired and I'm hungry.
- 18:33Speaker 2: Okay, So we're trying to solve this problem for you.
- 18:37Speaker 1: Starts the podcast Whole Foods was a great recommendation that
- 18:40Speaker 1: I will remember.
- 18:41Speaker 2: I will make mind you, I totally forgot about it.
- 18:44Speaker 1: Like now that I think back, I'm like I had
- 18:45Speaker 1: enough time to walk to Whole Foods, get a snack,
- 18:48Speaker 1: and come back.
- 18:49Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like you just have to channel. You're in
- 18:51Speaker 2: my seat, because.
- 18:52Speaker 1: In my mind I was like, it's too late for
- 18:54Speaker 1: me to postmate something. That's where my mind went. So
- 18:57Speaker 1: I was like, oh, I have beckup bring me something.
- 18:59Speaker 2: I don't things that you eat. I don't have boiled
- 19:02Speaker 2: kosher chicken and cucumbers ready to be delivered.
- 19:06Speaker 1: He should quite the snag.
- 19:08Speaker 2: But if you make me some, I'll bring it home.
- 19:10Speaker 2: In that way on Mondays, I can return it to you.
- 19:13Speaker 2: I'll keep it from So it's just I.
- 19:15Speaker 1: Normally have my own food. It's when I'm out of
- 19:17Speaker 1: town and I'm not like prepared for my Monday.
- 19:19Speaker 2: Speaking of So you get back from Jonas Connor, New York, Yes,
- 19:22Speaker 2: and then you're off on a plane to Cavo. No.
- 19:25Speaker 1: Then I do a surf lesson in Huntington Beach Tonya.
- 19:28Speaker 2: That video everything was in slow motion.
- 19:31Speaker 4: I was like, the wave was so small and it
- 19:37Speaker 4: took you so long to stand up, and then the
- 19:41Speaker 4: board was still going slow and he was attached to
- 19:44Speaker 4: it still.
- 19:45Speaker 1: So I first of all didn't know that he was
- 19:47Speaker 1: still attached to the board. That was like, I didn't
- 19:49Speaker 1: realize that until I watched the video bat which it
- 19:51Speaker 1: may feel so less cool. Like I was like, oh
- 19:54Speaker 1: my gosh, I was so stoked I got up. I
- 19:56Speaker 1: was so excited. And then I look back at the video,
- 20:00Speaker 1: I'm like my instructor was fully still attached my board,
- 20:03Speaker 1: Like fully still attached my board.
- 20:05Speaker 2: I feel confident that after like a couple of those times,
- 20:09Speaker 2: I think you could get up on a bigger wave
- 20:11Speaker 2: because it's all about like your core.
- 20:13Speaker 1: Yes, I think I could have. I didn't want to
- 20:15Speaker 1: get wet. I was so stressed about getting sick that
- 20:19Speaker 1: day because I'd been traveling from New York and like
- 20:21Speaker 1: I was very run down, and then we were going
- 20:22Speaker 1: on our mini moon the next day. So I was
- 20:24Speaker 1: so panicked about getting sick that I was like I
- 20:27Speaker 1: cannot get my hair wet, Like I cannot get like
- 20:30Speaker 1: so all I was doing was just trying to like
- 20:32Speaker 1: stay on the board, like I was just trying not
- 20:34Speaker 1: to fall in, Like that was like my biggest thing.
- 20:36Speaker 2: And I accomplished that I had a great job.
- 20:38Speaker 3: Hell, I mean, Sincereo, I thought it looked cool.
- 20:41Speaker 2: I messaged you that, yes, oh my god, classic, didn't
- 20:48Speaker 2: you original movie? No.
- 20:50Speaker 1: Robbie responded to my video and he's like so cool, babe.
- 20:52Speaker 1: I was like, are you watching the same video I'm.
- 20:55Speaker 2: Watching He Loves You?
- 20:56Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 20:58Speaker 2: So you went to Huntington, be a little quick surf sash, yeah,
- 21:02Speaker 2: spread the nar, shread some gnar, and then you head
- 21:06Speaker 2: to Cabo for a mini moon.
- 21:07Speaker 1: Yes, because we're not doing our honeymoon until the summer, right,
- 21:10Speaker 1: So this was actually like the first time that we
- 21:12Speaker 1: had time just like the two of us since the wedding,
- 21:16Speaker 1: since the wedding, which is crazy, like literally crazy, and
- 21:20Speaker 1: we took full advantage of it.
- 21:21Speaker 2: Yeah, it looked amazing. You did a great y'all both
- 21:24Speaker 2: did a great job posting for the hotel because I
- 21:27Speaker 2: was like, I'm ready to book.
- 21:28Speaker 1: Thank you so much. Yes, they did send this out,
- 21:30Speaker 1: which was so nice, and like, I literally think I
- 21:33Speaker 1: made out with him seventy percent of the trip.
- 21:36Speaker 5: Wow.
- 21:36Speaker 1: Yeah, my tongue was, oh wow.
- 21:40Speaker 2: Where how did we get here? I was just here
- 21:42Speaker 2: we are? I'm just talking about that hotel. Yeah.
- 21:45Speaker 1: Well, I mean we had like we just had literally
- 21:48Speaker 1: the best time was in his.
- 21:49Speaker 5: Mouth almost as much as his tongue was in his
- 21:51Speaker 5: own mouth. It was like seventy the.
- 21:53Speaker 1: Time, Yes, correct, But do you know it's so sweet.
- 21:56Speaker 1: The first night that they did at one of the restaurants,
- 21:59Speaker 1: they they have like live music at every restaurant and
- 22:03Speaker 1: they had them sing invisible string. Oh when they brought
- 22:07Speaker 1: heart dessert and they had like brought out these like
- 22:09Speaker 1: butterfly chocolate like things.
- 22:12Speaker 4: Wow.
- 22:12Speaker 1: Yeah, it was like so sweet.
- 22:14Speaker 2: Were they have venue that you toured for the wedding? No?
- 22:17Speaker 1: Oh, I know, because like there was a wedding going
- 22:21Speaker 1: on that weekend and it was beautiful. Yeah yeah, but no,
- 22:25Speaker 1: because I never I hadn't really never heard of it before.
- 22:27Speaker 2: It looked amazing. Yeah, it was so nice. Yeah, so
- 22:30Speaker 2: y'all just got to reconnect his husband and wife for
- 22:33Speaker 2: the two weeks that y'all have been celebrate the two
- 22:35Speaker 2: week anniversary exactly. I it was so cute.
- 22:37Speaker 1: Becca texted us the Fridays a happy two week anniversal.
- 22:42Speaker 2: Whoa times flying? Yeah, times flying. Yeah, it looked really
- 22:47Speaker 2: really nice. It was so Now do you get to relax? No,
- 22:50Speaker 2: it hous this weekend.
- 22:51Speaker 1: Yeah, but after Houston then I'm going to have some time.
- 22:55Speaker 2: We need to shout out to scrubbers about this Houston thing.
- 22:57Speaker 2: I know. So Tanya go, it's for a work trip, right.
- 23:01Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm going with Marshalls, and it.
- 23:04Speaker 2: Was basically like is it Are the tickets free? Yeah,
- 23:06Speaker 2: but you had a cap on how many people? So
- 23:09Speaker 2: you basically just like reserve your ticket? Yeah, okay, and
- 23:12Speaker 2: Tania sold out? Was it like your session or.
- 23:15Speaker 1: My session exactly?
- 23:18Speaker 2: I was telling Robbie.
- 23:19Speaker 1: I was like, what if nobody comes?
- 23:20Speaker 2: Like?
- 23:20Speaker 1: What if nobody? Like, I was like so nervous, Like
- 23:22Speaker 1: I've never done anything like this before, so I'm kind
- 23:24Speaker 1: of like freaking out. And then they some someone messaged
- 23:28Speaker 1: me and they're like, I'm trying to get into your thing,
- 23:29Speaker 1: but it's waitlisted, and I was like that can't be.
- 23:32Speaker 1: It's like texted the Marshalls girl and she's like, yeah,
- 23:34Speaker 1: your your class is sold out.
- 23:36Speaker 2: I was like, that is just a testament to that
- 23:38Speaker 2: I feel confident in anything I do. That's like in person,
- 23:42Speaker 2: because I just feel like the scrubbers will show up.
- 23:43Speaker 2: They're literally.
- 23:46Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, but it makes me feel better that it's
- 23:49Speaker 1: a room full of scrubbers. So I'm like a little
- 23:51Speaker 1: less nervous. Oh, friends, yeah, because I'm like really freaking
- 23:55Speaker 1: out about it.
- 23:55Speaker 2: Yeah, No, I don't think you need to freak out.
- 23:57Speaker 2: If anything, it's like you can just talk it like
- 24:00Speaker 2: talking to your girlfriends.
- 24:01Speaker 5: Yeah, like yeah, your speech, your presentation.
- 24:05Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like I have written it and it's in chunks,
- 24:09Speaker 1: so like there are it's like in like three big chunks.
- 24:14Speaker 1: But I've never done any I've never talked for a
- 24:16Speaker 1: full hour like that. So I have like I have
- 24:19Speaker 1: no idea.
- 24:20Speaker 2: But didn't you say there's a portion where it's like there's.
- 24:22Speaker 1: A Q and A for the last fifteen minutes.
- 24:24Speaker 2: Forty five minutes. It's really the length of you doing.
- 24:27Speaker 1: Long time to talk to yourself.
- 24:31Speaker 2: That's how we started. The podcast is basically.
- 24:34Speaker 1: Long a lot like it's basically a long monologue.
- 24:37Speaker 2: Find like a good like something about Meredith and Christina
- 24:41Speaker 2: and just tie it all up or something. Yeah.
- 24:43Speaker 1: So I have like the bullets, I have the bones, yeah,
- 24:46Speaker 1: and so I just have to like articulate. But I
- 24:48Speaker 1: want to be very captivating and like motivating.
- 24:50Speaker 2: Let's go into song. If all souls just go into
- 24:54Speaker 2: a song that resonates at that moment.
- 24:56Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, yeah, that'll burn like three minutes right there.
- 24:58Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, be a dance if you want to throw
- 25:01Speaker 2: it in there.
- 25:03Speaker 1: I don't hate that idea. I have everything pre approved though,
- 25:05Speaker 1: so maybe I'll send that if need be. Can I
- 25:08Speaker 1: go to songs?
- 25:09Speaker 5: Yeah? Yeah, that's cool that but the Marshalls people are impressed,
- 25:13Speaker 5: like you probably sold out faster than most.
- 25:15Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I have no idea. But the whole thing
- 25:17Speaker 1: came together so like quickly, and it was like right
- 25:20Speaker 1: before I left for my wedding, and I was like,
- 25:23Speaker 1: I'm about to embark on the craziest like three weeks
- 25:25Speaker 1: of my life. And they've been like really.
- 25:28Speaker 2: Busy.
- 25:29Speaker 5: Yeah, but they've been yeah, commodating.
- 25:31Speaker 1: Accommodating is the right word.
- 25:33Speaker 2: Yeah, speaking of Grey's anatomy, I have tried to catch up.
- 25:37Speaker 2: I'm one episode behind, so I have one episode and
- 25:39Speaker 2: then this.
- 25:41Speaker 5: Hasn't there only been two, there's been four.
- 25:43Speaker 2: Yeah, what.
- 25:46Speaker 5: The thirteenth, twenty seven?
- 25:48Speaker 1: Yeah, oh my gosh, I'm caught up.
- 25:51Speaker 5: I watched my my family were gone this weekend at
- 25:54Speaker 5: Advance Convention. I watched so much TV. It was great.
- 25:57Speaker 5: But I am caught up on Grays and I have
- 25:58Speaker 5: to say, if I could make announce, you know me,
- 26:03Speaker 5: I'm ride or die with Grays, never gonna stop watching.
- 26:06Speaker 5: I'm always the one that defends Grays. It's getting harder.
- 26:12Speaker 5: I'm not hate watching it. I am mock watching it,
- 26:16Speaker 5: Like I I watch it by myself, so I'm literally
- 26:18Speaker 5: out loud making comments about like why can we not
- 26:23Speaker 5: have an uneventful drive somewhere?
- 26:26Speaker 1: What is every drive?
- 26:29Speaker 5: Somebody's life need to be saved or something, and there's
- 26:32Speaker 5: always Organs in the car, like we all know what's
- 26:34Speaker 5: gonna happen. And the cheesiness of it. It's very hard
- 26:38Speaker 5: to go from Grey's Anatomy to White Lotus to Severance
- 26:43Speaker 5: back to Gray's Anatomy. It's like such a gear shift
- 26:46Speaker 5: into the land of cheese, the land of soap opera
- 26:49Speaker 5: from another era.
- 26:52Speaker 2: I started it and I was so shocked at how
- 26:58Speaker 2: bad it was, thinking how.
- 27:00Speaker 1: Good it was getting like I caught up. I got
- 27:03Speaker 1: caught up to where yeah I was kind aware to
- 27:05Speaker 1: the whatever mid season yeah no, and I was like,
- 27:09Speaker 1: actually shocked to how good it was exactly.
- 27:12Speaker 2: And then you get back into the start of the
- 27:17Speaker 2: post uh hiatus. I was like, I can't tell if
- 27:23Speaker 2: it's the writing. I can't tell if there's like some
- 27:25Speaker 2: underlying cheesy music that they played during the scenes, but
- 27:29Speaker 2: I was aghast at how bad the first episode was
- 27:34Speaker 2: luckily I was gardening and but but I think it
- 27:40Speaker 2: almost made it worse. I was like, I felt like
- 27:43Speaker 2: I was on set watching them act.
- 27:45Speaker 5: It was so bad.
- 27:49Speaker 2: Storylines are like, this is bad. Thing that I care
- 27:56Speaker 2: about at this point is Sophia Bush and Teddy Altman.
- 27:59Speaker 5: I'm in that. And the fact that while I don't
- 28:01Speaker 5: even ney spoilers, but Fine and Owen Owen are going
- 28:07Speaker 5: to try an open relationship situation that's induster it does.
- 28:12Speaker 2: It feels like, with Owen's history, this is a disastrous choice,
- 28:18Speaker 2: but it maybe it'll bring some interesting drama to the show. Maybe.
- 28:21Speaker 5: I was happy to see Tom Carrassik again. I feel
- 28:23Speaker 5: like that's one of my favorite recent characters.
- 28:25Speaker 1: Do you guys know I forget his character's name on
- 28:28Speaker 1: the show, Harry Shum Junior. Yeah, yes, character on the show.
- 28:32Speaker 5: I'll have to get back to you on that. I'm
- 28:33Speaker 5: very bad with character and names.
- 28:37Speaker 1: Get back to me on that. But his love interest
- 28:40Speaker 1: on the show, I know her.
- 28:42Speaker 5: Kwan, doctor Benson Blue Kwan.
- 28:44Speaker 1: Yes, doctor Kwan. His new love interest is my friend
- 28:47Speaker 1: Diane Oh. Yes, and she was actually at the Lifeless premiere.
- 28:53Speaker 1: She's friends with Sophia from Descendants. And I was talking
- 28:57Speaker 1: to her about being on grays Now. I mean, she's
- 28:59Speaker 1: a huge fan of Grey's Anatomy, so this was like
- 29:01Speaker 1: a huge thing for her. And it was right after
- 29:05Speaker 1: Ellen Pompeo was on call her daddy. So I was
- 29:08Speaker 1: asking her about Ellen Pompeo, Like, I was like, is
- 29:10Speaker 1: she nice on set? And she said she's wonderful. I
- 29:15Speaker 1: mean she's not. I don't think she's been around for
- 29:16Speaker 1: all of her scenes, but for the ones that she
- 29:19Speaker 1: has been around, she said she's wonderful.
- 29:21Speaker 2: Wow.
- 29:22Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 29:22Speaker 5: My other observation was, uh, Owen Hunt, the actor Kevin
- 29:27Speaker 5: McKidd sneaked in.
- 29:28Speaker 1: A shout out to his dad, his actual dad in
- 29:31Speaker 1: real life.
- 29:31Speaker 5: Yeah, there was one of the of a loudspeaker or
- 29:34Speaker 5: Neil cured Neil mckrid to the front desk or something
- 29:37Speaker 5: like that, And so I googled it and his dad
- 29:38Speaker 5: is a kid. Why couldn't we get a doctor Tilley
- 29:41Speaker 5: or a doctor rad On there, Like, I feel like
- 29:42Speaker 5: that is the least they could do. Yeah, Like, I
- 29:45Speaker 5: know we're not exactly complimenting the show right now, but
- 29:48Speaker 5: after all these weeks, theream Doctor Tilley, doctor Yadigar, like
- 29:55Speaker 5: let's just sneak it in there, like why not doctor Radigar.
- 29:59Speaker 2: Even having a a coat hanging with our name?
- 30:02Speaker 5: Fine, it seems like they could do something. I am
- 30:06Speaker 5: looking for names to show. There twenty names in every
- 30:08Speaker 5: episode set over the loudspeaker.
- 30:10Speaker 2: Here's the thing they should do.
- 30:13Speaker 1: They should do a podcast, like they should have scrubbing
- 30:16Speaker 1: in come to the to the hospital and like do
- 30:20Speaker 1: a live podcast from there and like straight down the
- 30:22Speaker 1: fourth wall. Great.
- 30:24Speaker 2: Do we think that uh Link and Joe are are?
- 30:29Speaker 2: Is that pretty sealed signed delivererty thing in terms of
- 30:32Speaker 2: them staying together? You know?
- 30:35Speaker 5: I think it might be because they talked about this
- 30:37Speaker 5: on a reason debisit of call it what it is.
- 30:40Speaker 5: It was those two actors, Camilla Luddington and Chris Karmick,
- 30:43Speaker 5: and they both think that this is probably it for
- 30:46Speaker 5: these two characters. They think they are fortunate each other
- 30:48Speaker 5: is forever.
- 30:49Speaker 2: Okay, Yeah, I guess. I'm just there's so many plots
- 30:56Speaker 2: that I'm not drawn in by. It's everything happens so fast.
- 31:00Speaker 2: I can't get connected to anyone.
- 31:02Speaker 1: Which selling me to take me back to when because.
- 31:08Speaker 2: Uh Denny Well, Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Catherine Heigeld did
- 31:12Speaker 2: have a conversation together, and I'm thinking about how nowadays
- 31:16Speaker 2: that plot, that plotline in the show would have been
- 31:20Speaker 2: so brief. But that was like a three episode that
- 31:24Speaker 2: we watched that story, and I missed that like depth
- 31:28Speaker 2: and and the way that you would get so attached
- 31:31Speaker 2: to even a patient and then they would be gone.
- 31:34Speaker 1: It was like you patience anymore.
- 31:37Speaker 5: No, they don't make no, No, his face got all
- 31:41Speaker 5: messed up and like he was trying to carav was
- 31:44Speaker 5: trying to fix her.
- 31:48Speaker 2: Twilight.
- 31:49Speaker 1: Oh yeah, but I watch old episodes of Grace and
- 31:55Speaker 1: recap those over continuing then the treachery that you guys are.
- 32:01Speaker 5: It's hard to watch adolescents and then watch.
- 32:05Speaker 2: It is Wow, huge shift. The show has been on
- 32:09Speaker 2: for so long. Like at their two their they did
- 32:13Speaker 2: it right.
- 32:13Speaker 1: At one point, so it's like there's got to be
- 32:16Speaker 1: a way to get that back, Like there's god, they
- 32:19Speaker 1: just they it was just good again, like they were
- 32:22Speaker 1: on the path. So it's like it's in them. It
- 32:24Speaker 1: is in them. And I believe if you have something
- 32:26Speaker 1: in you, you can channel it, you can get it back.
- 32:29Speaker 1: Do a little therapy, a little work book, a little
- 32:31Speaker 1: something to like bring it back to the roots, Like
- 32:34Speaker 1: there's got to be something that they can do well.
- 32:37Speaker 2: Okay, So there's always been Sandra has always been like
- 32:40Speaker 2: a hard no about returning to the show. But she
- 32:43Speaker 2: did an interview and she was saying, like it's for
- 32:45Speaker 2: the longest time, it has always been a hard no.
- 32:47Speaker 2: But lately, just like thinking about the people that have
- 32:52Speaker 2: love for the character, She's like, maybe it's softened a
- 32:56Speaker 2: little bit. The hard no has softened. We need when
- 33:00Speaker 2: I say we need Sandro.
- 33:02Speaker 1: Back, yes, and bring Denny back from the dead again,
- 33:05Speaker 1: like let's do it that one.
- 33:08Speaker 2: Yeah. But Katherine Heigel and Jeffrey Dean Morgan, I guess
- 33:12Speaker 2: they didn't do a chemistry read, so they didn't even
- 33:15Speaker 2: know if they would have chemistry before they started filming,
- 33:17Speaker 2: which I feel is very risky, especially during that time
- 33:20Speaker 2: at the show, because that was the thing that there
- 33:22Speaker 2: was just chemistry, let me tell you wassing And they
- 33:27Speaker 2: even tried to convince Shanda Rhymes not to kill Denny,
- 33:32Speaker 2: but it didn't work.
- 33:33Speaker 5: I watched some of that. It was a very compelling exchange,
- 33:36Speaker 5: even though it was on Zoom. But he was talking
- 33:37Speaker 5: about how they shout it all day and she had
- 33:40Speaker 5: to cry all day, Like this poor woman for like
- 33:44Speaker 5: twelve hours straight, she was crying. And he gave her
- 33:46Speaker 5: a lot of credit for that because she she never
- 33:48Speaker 5: mailed it in. It was always one hundred percent there,
- 33:50Speaker 5: and that's not easy to do all day long.
- 33:52Speaker 2: Sounds draining, sounds really draining. Have you all heard of
- 33:55Speaker 2: anything anything about The Pit? It's on HBO Max.
- 33:59Speaker 1: Yeah, the thing.
- 34:00Speaker 5: Netflix is going to have one too, a medical drama,
- 34:02Speaker 5: and I'm like, it's going to make it even harder.
- 34:04Speaker 1: To I want to watch The Pit.
- 34:05Speaker 5: Do you know what?
- 34:05Speaker 1: I did watch the only thing. So we're like so
- 34:08Speaker 1: behind on all of our shows and it's annoying.
- 34:10Speaker 5: Like even Survivor understandably.
- 34:12Speaker 1: Yeah, it's been a busy two weeks, but we did
- 34:15Speaker 1: watch the Severance finale and we are like in these
- 34:19Speaker 1: now like TikTok rabbit holes of people who are like
- 34:24Speaker 1: sharing their hypotheses of their different interpretations of the finale,
- 34:28Speaker 1: and I'm like, I'm so dumb when I'm watching television.
- 34:32Speaker 1: I don't see any of these things, Like none of
- 34:35Speaker 1: these theories crossed my mind in the slightest bit.
- 34:38Speaker 5: Even like the fact that the Indians are blue and
- 34:40Speaker 5: the audis are red. I'm like, I never.
- 34:42Speaker 1: Noticed, never noticed that. No, literally, never notice that. I'm
- 34:45Speaker 1: sitting here being like, how cool is the scene when
- 34:47Speaker 1: he's talking to his indie and his audi in the lodge,
- 34:50Speaker 1: Like how cool is that? And there's so much other
- 34:52Speaker 1: stuff going on, Like I'm like, god, belly.
- 34:55Speaker 3: Buttons, some of those.
- 34:59Speaker 5: Severance. This is reference.
- 35:00Speaker 2: I know what's an inn No, I don't know.
- 35:05Speaker 5: Great premise the show, like you.
- 35:07Speaker 2: Can take something and then you leave and you don't
- 35:09Speaker 2: think about Yeah.
- 35:11Speaker 5: Yeah, so yeah, when you leave work you never think
- 35:13Speaker 5: about work, and when you're at work you know nothing
- 35:15Speaker 5: of outside of work.
- 35:16Speaker 1: You're basically like two different people.
- 35:18Speaker 5: So the people at work are the innies. The people
- 35:20Speaker 5: who are in the world are the oudies.
- 35:22Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 35:23Speaker 2: So was it the series finale or just the season?
- 35:26Speaker 5: Season three is coming?
- 35:27Speaker 1: Yeah, phenomenal, phenomenal and people love it.
- 35:32Speaker 2: I think we tried to watch a few episodes, but
- 35:34Speaker 2: it's hard.
- 35:36Speaker 5: Garden give me.
- 35:41Speaker 4: Light.
- 35:41Speaker 2: With Garden gardening, I try to keep it very low lift.
- 35:45Speaker 2: I know the I know the basic premise. If it's
- 35:48Speaker 2: too deep, no, yeah, it would be hard. Yeah, even wicked.
- 35:52Speaker 2: I was like, this is really deep.
- 35:58Speaker 1: But crazy good to Garden too.
- 36:01Speaker 2: I mean no, that movie is just crazy together. But sure,
- 36:06Speaker 2: wait I was gonna ask. Okay, so Sydney Sweeney, yeah,
- 36:11Speaker 2: and her fiance split up?
- 36:14Speaker 1: Is that confirmed?
- 36:16Speaker 2: I think so? But she was spotted out with Glenn Powell.
- 36:20Speaker 1: I know, but it wasn't what you think. What what
- 36:23Speaker 1: they were at a wedding together.
- 36:25Speaker 2: Yeah, and we'll talk about the wedding they were at
- 36:28Speaker 2: together when we come back here. All right, we are
- 36:48Speaker 2: back Okay, Wait, so it wasn't what I think. They
- 36:52Speaker 2: were just at a wedding together.
- 36:53Speaker 1: Yes, they were at his sister's wedding.
- 36:57Speaker 2: Than that his sister's wedding, you don't think so, come on,
- 37:02Speaker 2: a person a choice for him to bring Sydney.
- 37:05Speaker 1: So I don't think I think she was just we
- 37:07Speaker 1: don't know that he brought her as his guest. That
- 37:10Speaker 1: is not verified information. So the sister could have invited Sidney.
- 37:15Speaker 1: They've probably spent two years together. I'm sure he's so
- 37:18Speaker 1: tight with his family. I'm sure his family was on
- 37:19Speaker 1: set while they're filming the movie, and maybe sitting and
- 37:22Speaker 1: her sister got close.
- 37:24Speaker 5: I'm nope, nope, I think Look, they know this is
- 37:28Speaker 5: a headline, right, She's not just going to come as
- 37:30Speaker 5: a friend because it's going to be a big deal.
- 37:33Speaker 5: She has gone. She has returned to that bond they had.
- 37:36Speaker 5: If she has split up with her fiance, she and
- 37:39Speaker 5: Glenn are trying things out. I think there was always
- 37:41Speaker 5: a connection there.
- 37:42Speaker 2: I do too, and also you do not. Here's my
- 37:44Speaker 2: thing rehearsal dinner. She wasn't just a guest at the wedding.
- 37:48Speaker 2: They were spout at the rehearsal dinner, which is typically
- 37:51Speaker 2: like closest friends and family. My entire bride wedding is
- 37:54Speaker 2: a destination normally if it's in the location where you live.
- 37:58Speaker 2: The rehearsal is more like four It says, who tradition.
- 38:04Speaker 5: Why are you anti this? Because I'm so for this.
- 38:06Speaker 5: I want them together.
- 38:09Speaker 1: Because I'm anti because I don't like the fact that
- 38:13Speaker 1: she was in a relationship while she was doing this movie,
- 38:16Speaker 1: and that there was any sort of anything inappropriate because
- 38:19Speaker 1: she was in a relationship. So I don't like the
- 38:21Speaker 1: idea that that happened while she was in a relationship,
- 38:24Speaker 1: but think it's wrong.
- 38:25Speaker 2: It doesn't have to be that there is anything appropriate.
- 38:27Speaker 2: They could have just had crazy chemistry and gotten along
- 38:29Speaker 2: really well, and after after thinking about it, maybe she's like, oh,
- 38:34Speaker 2: like I haven't felt that way, and I shouldn't be
- 38:36Speaker 2: with my fiance If I felt this way for another manner,
- 38:39Speaker 2: how to connection with him? If? If there, If that's
- 38:41Speaker 2: what happened, it just makes me.
- 38:42Speaker 1: It just makes me sad.
- 38:44Speaker 2: But he's not employing that.
- 38:45Speaker 1: It just makes me sad. Yeah, or just like anybody
- 38:48Speaker 1: that's dating an actor, like what do you just want
- 38:50Speaker 1: to like?
- 38:50Speaker 2: Oh that's my biggest my worst nightmare, but I okay, Oh.
- 38:54Speaker 1: Yeah, you're gonna go have chemistry with someone. Okay, bye,
- 38:56Speaker 1: see when you get home and then like, oh you
- 38:57Speaker 1: have crazy chemistry with someone, Okay, cool? Then what are
- 39:00Speaker 1: you gonna leave me in a year?
- 39:01Speaker 2: Like, I just don't like I don't like it, I know,
- 39:04Speaker 2: but that's that's that's unfortunately what you get when you
- 39:08Speaker 2: date someone who's in this industry. Well, I don't like it,
- 39:11Speaker 2: so you're not rooting for them.
- 39:13Speaker 1: Well, I love Glenn Powells. This sound's really hard for me.
- 39:17Speaker 5: I want him to be happy, very attractive couple.
- 39:20Speaker 1: Yeah, so I can't root against Glenn Palell because I
- 39:24Speaker 1: love him so much, But.
- 39:26Speaker 2: But he has had the opportunity to really be with
- 39:28Speaker 2: anyone he wanted to, like, he has been like the
- 39:30Speaker 2: it guy, and so.
- 39:34Speaker 1: I would like to say I try to get with
- 39:35Speaker 1: him before he was like yeah, I have like I
- 39:40Speaker 1: want to, you know, just to my own horn for
- 39:42Speaker 1: that beep beep too too, because people did not know
- 39:45Speaker 1: who he was. When I was like, I want to
- 39:47Speaker 1: date that guy, No.
- 39:48Speaker 2: We did.
- 39:49Speaker 5: We booked him the first time.
- 39:50Speaker 1: He wasn't when he's open now, it's like, can we
- 39:56Speaker 1: get him? They're like, oh, he's in this shooting this
- 39:58Speaker 1: movie here and shooting.
- 39:59Speaker 2: This movie there.
- 40:01Speaker 1: Uh. He was actually dating somebody at that time, and
- 40:05Speaker 1: I knew who he was dating. Actually he told me
- 40:07Speaker 1: after the interview, and I was like, oh my god,
- 40:09Speaker 1: I love her. Fine, if you guys wear go here's
- 40:13Speaker 1: my number.
- 40:14Speaker 2: You're doing exactly what I'm kidding.
- 40:16Speaker 4: I didn't do that.
- 40:17Speaker 2: Okay, okay, but she's.
- 40:20Speaker 1: She has since moved on and it's happily, what's the
- 40:23Speaker 1: one you're married? I'm not sure. Happy happy, that's what
- 40:26Speaker 1: we need. Yeah, I'm just happy period. I forgot to
- 40:29Speaker 1: tell you about who I ran into at the airport. Oh,
- 40:32Speaker 1: Lisa vander Pump. Oh, so I don't know she I
- 40:39Speaker 1: was on her podcast for when she was doing a
- 40:42Speaker 1: podcast as a guest, and I feel like one of
- 40:45Speaker 1: her producers or something was like a scrubber, because there's
- 40:47Speaker 1: no way that I would land on Lisa vander Pump's
- 40:48Speaker 1: podcast had not been for like a scrubber working on
- 40:51Speaker 1: there to encourage her to book me. And I remember vividly,
- 40:57Speaker 1: like bawling my eyes out during this podcast, because I
- 40:59Speaker 1: do feel like it was at the time when Robbie
- 41:01Speaker 1: and I were broken up. I have that vivid memory
- 41:03Speaker 1: if it was like in that period of time that
- 41:05Speaker 1: was on her podcast, oh like during the trigger, during
- 41:08Speaker 1: the Trigger event. So I see her at the airport
- 41:10Speaker 1: and I'm like, I got to say hi, and Robbie goes,
- 41:12Speaker 1: do you think she'll remember you? I said, absolutely not,
- 41:14Speaker 1: but I will remind her. So I walk up to
- 41:17Speaker 1: her and I was like, Hi, Lisa, I don't know
- 41:19Speaker 1: if you remember me, but I was on your podcast
- 41:22Speaker 1: during the pend during a long time ago, because she
- 41:24Speaker 1: doesn't do her podcast anymore, and she was like, oh,
- 41:28Speaker 1: did not you know? And it was through zoom too,
- 41:31Speaker 1: so I give her some credit.
- 41:32Speaker 5: Oh here it is, by the way I found it.
- 41:33Speaker 5: December of twenty twenty, that would workout time working?
- 41:36Speaker 1: Yeah, yes, okay, so and I was like, yeah, during
- 41:40Speaker 1: the pandemic, I go, I remember being on your podcast
- 41:42Speaker 1: and you said something to me and I just started
- 41:45Speaker 1: crying my eyes out on your podcast. And she goes,
- 41:47Speaker 1: what did I say to you?
- 41:48Speaker 2: And I was like, I don't.
- 41:49Speaker 1: Remember, but I vividly remember, like crying from it. And
- 41:52Speaker 1: she goes, what happened to the to the guy or whatever?
- 41:54Speaker 1: And I was like, he's actually sitting right there. We
- 41:57Speaker 1: just got married last weekend. And she was like, oh
- 41:59Speaker 1: my gosh, no way. She goes like, I want to
- 42:01Speaker 1: meet him. So he came over to meet her and
- 42:03Speaker 1: her husband Ken was there, and we're all like, she
- 42:06Speaker 1: was being so cute. She was like, oh, did you
- 42:08Speaker 1: tell him about that cute boy that you were dating,
- 42:10Speaker 1: like when you guys were broken up, And she was
- 42:12Speaker 1: just being so silly and funny and like so cute.
- 42:15Speaker 1: And they talked to us for like an hour, wow,
- 42:18Speaker 1: and like we weren't trying to get rid of us.
- 42:19Speaker 1: And then she was like, oh, take my number, like
- 42:21Speaker 1: let's play calls. We love to play cads.
- 42:23Speaker 2: And she had given her something else wedding cards.
- 42:26Speaker 1: I know I didn't have to get on I know
- 42:28Speaker 1: I didn't have any on me at the moment. But
- 42:30Speaker 1: she was like so cute and like literally and then
- 42:32Speaker 1: like her husband was talking to Robbie for like an hour. Wow,
- 42:36Speaker 1: and they weren't trying to like get they weren't trying
- 42:38Speaker 1: to end that. I kept feeling bad, like, oh, we
- 42:39Speaker 1: should let them like chill. They kept reeling us back in.
- 42:44Speaker 2: She was so cute. Wow, what a great interaction.
- 42:47Speaker 1: It was a fantastic interaction.
- 42:49Speaker 2: Speaking of the boundary of you know, setting boundaries. Yeah,
- 42:54Speaker 2: so you found like a post about questions O you
- 42:59Speaker 2: and your partner ask each other?
- 43:00Speaker 1: No, let me find you exactly what it is, because
- 43:03Speaker 1: it's it's good.
- 43:05Speaker 2: So Tanya posted a screenshot and she found like a
- 43:08Speaker 2: post and sent it to Robby and was like, we
- 43:10Speaker 2: should do these questions plans.
- 43:13Speaker 1: If you plan to be married a long time, ask
- 43:15Speaker 1: your spouse these harder questions.
- 43:18Speaker 2: Okay, So can you give us an example of one
- 43:20Speaker 2: of the questions.
- 43:20Speaker 5: First, take us to the text exchange with Robbie when
- 43:23Speaker 5: you pitched him on this.
- 43:24Speaker 1: So I sent him the post and I said, I
- 43:28Speaker 1: like these we should make a point to ask each
- 43:30Speaker 1: other these once a month and he said okay, love,
- 43:34Speaker 1: And I said maybe we asked a couple tonight before
- 43:36Speaker 1: bed and he said not tonightche So I will be
- 43:42Speaker 1: bringing this back around in a week. So the first
- 43:44Speaker 1: question is is it easy or difficult for you to
- 43:46Speaker 1: bring up your wants and needs to me?
- 43:50Speaker 2: Great question, You've got to be.
- 43:54Speaker 1: Ready and number two, how satisfied are you with our intimacy?
- 44:00Speaker 1: Number three? Do you feel like I've been emotionally available lately?
- 44:04Speaker 1: Or more distracted or closed off? Number four? Do you
- 44:08Speaker 1: feel like you've become too routine? If so, what could
- 44:12Speaker 1: help us bring more joy, fun, or lightness into our interactions?
- 44:15Speaker 1: Number five? Do I make you feel special and wanted?
- 44:20Speaker 1: Number six? Do you feel like I take initiative to
- 44:24Speaker 1: keep our connection strong? Number seven? Are there small things
- 44:30Speaker 1: I used to do that made you feel loved and
- 44:31Speaker 1: appreciated but don't really do anymore? That's it?
- 44:35Speaker 2: Oh?
- 44:36Speaker 1: Well? Seven?
- 44:38Speaker 2: Seven questions?
- 44:39Speaker 1: Seven great questions?
- 44:40Speaker 2: Once a month? Yes, that's actually we have April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November.
- 44:48Speaker 2: Ohe question a month? No? No, no? Didn't you say
- 44:52Speaker 2: once a month? We should month.
- 44:53Speaker 1: We go over the questions on seven all seven every month,
- 45:00Speaker 1: all seven every month?
- 45:01Speaker 2: Whoa okay, good luck Robbie. Robby's actually down like Robbie
- 45:08Speaker 2: is very much. They're very aligned on their like I
- 45:12Speaker 2: guess yeah, no they.
- 45:13Speaker 1: Are like he gets where he would never like suggest
- 45:17Speaker 1: these things, but are you happy to do them? Yeah?
- 45:20Speaker 2: And like I feel like he's equally excited about the
- 45:24Speaker 2: things that you're excited about, even if it wasn't his idea.
- 45:27Speaker 1: I agree.
- 45:28Speaker 2: And that's just love love marriage, that's marriage.
- 45:33Speaker 1: I love a married life. Like I'm obsessed.
- 45:35Speaker 2: So you're very You're it's it's it feels like no,
- 45:39Speaker 2: it just feels like it's everything that you hoped for
- 45:42Speaker 2: more it is.
- 45:44Speaker 1: I'm like, why did I not do this sooner?
- 45:46Speaker 5: You did?
- 45:47Speaker 2: You tried?
- 45:47Speaker 1: I tried, Yeah, I was trying. You does your best
- 45:50Speaker 1: good because it is everything I expected it more.
- 45:53Speaker 2: But I think it's because of the person and where
- 45:57Speaker 2: you were both at in your life that makes it
- 45:59Speaker 2: so good. So I think any sooner maybe it wouldn't
- 46:01Speaker 2: have been as good.
- 46:02Speaker 1: I think it's the person. I read this quote that
- 46:03Speaker 1: was like marriage or I think it's like get married
- 46:06Speaker 1: when it's the right person, not the right time.
- 46:10Speaker 2: Say it again, get ready when it's the right person married.
- 46:14Speaker 2: What did I say? Get ready get married when it's
- 46:18Speaker 2: the right person, not the right time exactly, But don't
- 46:23Speaker 2: you need both?
- 46:25Speaker 5: No, I think there's something to that.
- 46:27Speaker 2: Yeah, because no, because I think if you had met
- 46:29Speaker 2: Robbie sooner than you did, I don't think it would
- 46:32Speaker 2: have been the right time.
- 46:33Speaker 1: Well now, No, My whole thing was like we dated
- 46:35Speaker 1: for five years, Like I wish would have got married
- 46:37Speaker 1: after like year two. We've been married for three years
- 46:40Speaker 1: by now. I much fun I would have had by now.
- 46:43Speaker 2: No, I think y'all. I think y'all got married when
- 46:46Speaker 2: the time is right for both of you. I feel
- 46:49Speaker 2: like he'd agree.
- 46:53Speaker 1: When are you gonna do it? Do what? Get married?
- 46:57Speaker 2: I mean?
- 46:58Speaker 5: Looking amazing weekend. If I were single or I were
- 47:05Speaker 5: dating someone that week, it would make me want to
- 47:08Speaker 5: plan a wedding.
- 47:08Speaker 2: It definitely. It definitely made me go like, oh, that
- 47:11Speaker 2: was really fun. We should do that something. Yeah. But
- 47:15Speaker 2: also we're like redoing or converting our garage into an
- 47:20Speaker 2: ad which is a lot of money. So I'm also
- 47:23Speaker 2: thinking about those things. But we are making steps, you know,
- 47:27Speaker 2: We're making steps into that direction. But I can't wait.
- 47:32Speaker 2: I just got it. Now all of my friends are
- 47:34Speaker 2: going to be like either huge pregnant or with kids,
- 47:37Speaker 2: and I'm like gott to kind of try and time
- 47:39Speaker 2: that out because I don't want a lot of like babies.
- 47:44Speaker 5: Pregnant.
- 47:48Speaker 2: I can't plan it like in an Yeah.
- 47:50Speaker 1: No, but if you get married in the next year,
- 47:52Speaker 1: all of our kids will be small enough where we
- 47:54Speaker 1: could like bring them and like leave them in like
- 47:57Speaker 1: the room.
- 47:58Speaker 2: I want to leave them in the room. Yes, no, no, no, no, no, yes,
- 48:02Speaker 2: that's I think that's y'all all have this mentality and
- 48:05Speaker 2: then I think when you have kids, it's gonna totally shift.
- 48:08Speaker 2: And that's okay. I'm like very excited for that phase,
- 48:10Speaker 2: but I do the selfish part of me is thinking, like,
- 48:14Speaker 2: where when am I going to have my friends in
- 48:16Speaker 2: a fun place right now?
- 48:19Speaker 1: It could be right now, gallavantail over the world right now.
- 48:23Speaker 2: Yeah you are, Yeah, but that's hard for that. That
- 48:27Speaker 2: makes that very hard for me.
- 48:29Speaker 1: If you think about it.
- 48:30Speaker 2: Though.
- 48:30Speaker 1: When I think about when we booked our wedding venue
- 48:32Speaker 1: to when we got married, it was five months. We
- 48:35Speaker 1: really planned it in five months.
- 48:36Speaker 2: Yeah, I have I would have to plan a proposal
- 48:39Speaker 2: and play a wedding three months. I'm here to help anyways.
- 48:45Speaker 2: It's on the mind. Just there's a lot of logistics
- 48:48Speaker 2: to it now. So you know who will be there
- 48:50Speaker 2: with all kids though, Easton Nelson, that's right, the me,
- 48:58Speaker 2: my best man, made of honor, that's right. Yeah, I'm
- 49:05Speaker 2: just I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. I was just
- 49:07Speaker 2: simply that is not something to joke about, Poor Joe,
- 49:12Speaker 2: little joke. We do have a Dear Bonnie episode coming
- 49:15Speaker 2: this Thursday, so this isn't the last you're hearing from
- 49:18Speaker 2: us this week, Lucky.
- 49:21Speaker 1: Wait wait, love you, love you bye. To be continued.
