- 0:01Speaker 1: Because fuck you That's why is a founding member of
- 0:03Speaker 1: the Odd Pods Media Network.
- 0:38Speaker 2: Hello and welcome to episode three three zero one, three
- 0:43Speaker 2: three one, three through one, Yeah, three thirty one, three
- 0:47Speaker 2: hundred and thirty one of bfyt W Because fuck you
- 0:52Speaker 2: That's why. We have done three hundred and thirty one
- 0:56Speaker 2: episodes of a panel show inspired podcast where all we
- 1:00Speaker 2: do is play silly games, have fun with our friends,
- 1:03Speaker 2: make silly jokes, do silly bits, and just laugh our
- 1:08Speaker 2: asses off. Oh yeah, and it is. It is mind
- 1:12Speaker 2: blowing to each new number we aspire because like, holy crap,
- 1:15Speaker 2: we're coming on three threety.
- 1:16Speaker 3: Three, which is crazy that people are like, I like.
- 1:19Speaker 2: Should we do a show about slot machines or something?
- 1:22Speaker 2: Or should we save that for seven hundred and seventy seven?
- 1:24Speaker 2: Oh my god, the gambling episode.
- 1:28Speaker 3: We're almost halfway there.
- 1:29Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, it's wild, it's wild to think about.
- 1:33Speaker 2: But anyway, Yeah, we're here, and surprise, motherfucker's it's a
- 1:38Speaker 2: normal ass episode.
- 1:40Speaker 3: A normal episode.
- 1:41Speaker 2: It's a normal ass episode. We've been doing so many specials,
- 1:44Speaker 2: we've been doing chill shows. We've done so many this
- 1:47Speaker 2: thing and that thing, the other thing. Bfepardy the wrong show,
- 1:51Speaker 2: like a whole ton of special stuff. We haven't done
- 1:54Speaker 2: a normal episode in like a month and a half
- 1:57Speaker 2: or longer. It's been a bit, it's been a while.
- 2:00Speaker 2: B fy t W on the clock Tower too.
- 2:02Speaker 3: Yeah, they by on.
- 2:03Speaker 2: The clock Tower. That is one slot out of every month. Yeah,
- 2:06Speaker 2: and it's just been absolute joy. I you know what,
- 2:10Speaker 2: I've been thinking, if we get enough, if we get
- 2:12Speaker 2: enough people, I feel like I need to add like
- 2:14Speaker 2: a good like five or ten more cast members before
- 2:16Speaker 2: we do this. But I was thinking of moving up
- 2:18Speaker 2: to BUI weekly and doing just one. One of the
- 2:22Speaker 2: two months episodes is Patreon only.
- 2:25Speaker 3: Oh, I see what you say, like to invite them
- 2:27Speaker 3: on and.
- 2:28Speaker 2: Uh no, it's just for them, it's just for yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 2:33Speaker 2: something like that, something fun to do. There are other
- 2:36Speaker 2: Blood in the clock Tower groups who do a very
- 2:39Speaker 2: similar thing. They do one for free on YouTube and
- 2:41Speaker 2: one on Patreon.
- 2:42Speaker 3: That's awesome, and you know.
- 2:44Speaker 2: It's just it's just like that, and if you want more,
- 2:46Speaker 2: you join the Patreon you get a whole slew of
- 2:48Speaker 2: extra episodes. So you know, it's a thought. Yeah. Anyway,
- 2:52Speaker 2: we're talking about things that have yet to happen let's
- 2:55Speaker 2: get into our actual game for today. As per usual,
- 2:58Speaker 2: we have our two main players. First of all, he's
- 3:02Speaker 2: a gamer and a storyteller, and he used to be
- 3:04Speaker 2: my youngest friend. Now he's.
- 3:08Speaker 3: What up?
- 3:09Speaker 2: Yay dude, what's going on? And this par guy is tired.
- 3:15Speaker 2: He just literally just got off of work came in here.
- 3:18Speaker 2: He's been literally cuddling with the cat since I walk
- 3:20Speaker 2: in the door.
- 3:21Speaker 4: I've been king no no job literally all week. I
- 3:25Speaker 4: don't think I've had really any day off.
- 3:27Speaker 2: Ther guy has had such a rough time that I specifically,
- 3:30Speaker 2: and here's the good news. You get to just relax.
- 3:34Speaker 2: This episode has nothing you need to prepare, hopefully no
- 3:38Speaker 2: insane improvisation. You will need to be able to think,
- 3:41Speaker 2: so the later part of the episode might be a
- 3:44Speaker 2: bit of a problem. But if you can just stick
- 3:46Speaker 2: with us to the end of the episode, I'm sure
- 3:48Speaker 2: we'll have a good time. We always do. Hell and
- 3:51Speaker 2: his opponent. He is a podcaster and a veteran And
- 3:54Speaker 2: as it turns out, he's a veteran podcaster. You know him,
- 3:57Speaker 2: you love him. He's the excitable Chowell, a joy goblin
- 4:00Speaker 2: that everybody loves.
- 4:02Speaker 3: It's Stevie, Yeah, what's.
- 4:05Speaker 2: Up, sir?
- 4:06Speaker 3: What's perhaps try to get my outside stuff done before
- 4:10Speaker 3: it turns to another storm.
- 4:12Speaker 2: That's fair. How are you holding up? I guess that
- 4:15Speaker 2: is my question because I've already asked Aggie the same thing, right,
- 4:18Speaker 2: that's my question for you holding up. It's been a
- 4:21Speaker 2: rough year for a lot of people, and it's it's
- 4:24Speaker 2: currently a rough time for Augie. I'm not doing so
- 4:27Speaker 2: great myself, honest, but I am. I am striving to
- 4:32Speaker 2: be better and we'll get to that because the final
- 4:34Speaker 2: person I have to introduce is me ancelss Aaron. I'd
- 4:39Speaker 2: say hit it, but we don't have soundboard at the moment,
- 4:42Speaker 2: but that's fine. We're hopefully gonna get it back.
- 4:45Speaker 3: We might have forgotten to charge it. So it's been.
- 4:50Speaker 2: A crazy week in our defense. And my thing is
- 4:55Speaker 2: I am learning to try and change the way I
- 5:01Speaker 2: think about happiness. Okay, I saw something that made a
- 5:05Speaker 2: lot of sense to me and it wasn't it's for once.
- 5:08Speaker 2: It was it was the kind of viral post that
- 5:11Speaker 2: isn't isn't viral because it's trying to sell you something
- 5:14Speaker 2: in advertisement or anything, and it was literally a lot
- 5:18Speaker 2: of reading and typically people don't go for that, but
- 5:20Speaker 2: this still went viral and it was about how happiness
- 5:23Speaker 2: actually works. And I love that because it talks about
- 5:27Speaker 2: how we keep reaching for like more money, a better job,
- 5:30Speaker 2: you know, promotion, all these things that we think are
- 5:32Speaker 2: going to make us happy. The problem is it only
- 5:34Speaker 2: makes us happier for a short time and then we
- 5:36Speaker 2: resettled back to a baseline happiness. Right, We keep going
- 5:40Speaker 2: back to that baseline, so it's never enough. You will
- 5:43Speaker 2: keep chasing that dragon for the rest of your life.
- 5:45Speaker 2: And I just I was like, you know what that feels, right,
- 5:48Speaker 2: And like the things that they recommend to make yourself
- 5:51Speaker 2: happy are literally just like little simple baseline things that
- 5:56Speaker 2: I mean, everybody should do, you know. The top one,
- 5:58Speaker 2: the obvious one is to do physical like exercise, get
- 6:03Speaker 2: some you know, some walking more, you know, I trying
- 6:05Speaker 2: to get trying to get outside, get some you know.
- 6:08Speaker 2: And the other thing is experiences, like don't try and
- 6:12Speaker 2: get like you know, these objects, these toys, these things
- 6:15Speaker 2: to play with, which is something I'm immensely guilty of.
- 6:18Speaker 2: Try and have experiences, like things that you will remember
- 6:22Speaker 2: for the rest of your life, like that trip to Vegas.
- 6:23Speaker 2: We all tall, Oh my god, like, that was an
- 6:25Speaker 2: incredible experience and I will remember for the rest of
- 6:27Speaker 2: my life and just the memory of that trip makes
- 6:30Speaker 2: me happy. So like things like that and the But
- 6:33Speaker 2: here's the surprising thing, the thing that I didn't really take,
- 6:37Speaker 2: I didn't really expect to hear. But the thing that
- 6:40Speaker 2: has the most powerful impact on a person's happiness is
- 6:44Speaker 2: expressing gratitude. Really, yeah, a lot of people like to
- 6:49Speaker 2: do the five daily affirmations, like in the morning, just
- 6:51Speaker 2: say five things that you're grateful for. But the thing
- 6:54Speaker 2: they specifically request is to the thing they specifically suggest
- 6:58Speaker 2: is to openly, like say to the person that you're great,
- 7:04Speaker 2: why you're grateful for them, because it literally will make
- 7:07Speaker 2: both of you happier, number one. But number two, it
- 7:11Speaker 2: tends to have a like a profound impact on your
- 7:14Speaker 2: brain chemistry because you stop thinking about the things you
- 7:18Speaker 2: don't have and the things that you want, and you
- 7:20Speaker 2: think more about the things that you will already have,
- 7:22Speaker 2: the things that you've already had.
- 7:24Speaker 3: So you sound like my therapist and micro Joy's right.
- 7:27Speaker 2: Right, It's a real thing. There is an actual science
- 7:30Speaker 2: to happen. So I have been I have been going
- 7:34Speaker 2: out of my way to every single day to just
- 7:36Speaker 2: pick five things and think about that I'm grateful for,
- 7:39Speaker 2: and at least once a day just say something that
- 7:41Speaker 2: I'm grateful for. And this is an obvious one, but
- 7:43Speaker 2: I am so fucking grateful for bfy tw The sheer
- 7:47Speaker 2: amount of joy that I have taken, not just from
- 7:51Speaker 2: doing this show, but from talking to people about it,
- 7:55Speaker 2: to meeting like like literally having new friends this show.
- 8:00Speaker 2: That is crazy. It is crazy to think that like
- 8:05Speaker 2: those are that's.
- 8:05Speaker 3: Something we experienced when you made a friend, you made
- 8:07Speaker 3: them because you did some activity with that person at
- 8:10Speaker 3: some point when you're at school or a sport or something.
- 8:13Speaker 2: But in this case, since somebody said I like what
- 8:16Speaker 2: you do, can we talk and hang? Yeah, absolutely you can.
- 8:22Speaker 2: Or or the buddy of mine has a show that's
- 8:25Speaker 2: a lot like yours, would you like to hang with them?
- 8:28Speaker 2: And like so many things, and I just I'm very
- 8:32Speaker 2: grateful that the show exists. It has made such a
- 8:35Speaker 2: massive difference to my life. Uh, and I'm very glad that.
- 8:38Speaker 3: It didn't so and we're not done.
- 8:40Speaker 2: No, we're not done by a long shot. We still
- 8:42Speaker 2: got stuff to do, we got stuff in the works,
- 8:44Speaker 2: so many things. I'm excited for some of the things
- 8:47Speaker 2: we've come up with. But speaking of bfy tww yes,
- 8:50Speaker 2: actually get to the games. Our first game is going
- 8:53Speaker 2: to be like share block. I have three news stories here,
- 8:56Speaker 2: and all our players have to do is tell me
- 8:58Speaker 2: which of these stories I would like, which one I
- 9:00Speaker 2: would share in, which one I would block on social media.
- 9:03Speaker 2: There is only one correct combination, and there is one
- 9:07Speaker 2: for each, so there are not two likes, there are
- 9:10Speaker 2: not two shares, and other shit like that. So this
- 9:14Speaker 2: is just for anybody who hasn't seen the show. This
- 9:15Speaker 2: is one of our most common games. It's also one
- 9:17Speaker 2: of my favorites. So let's get to our first story.
- 9:22Speaker 2: Japanese invent morbid human refrigerators to deal with heat crisis.
- 9:30Speaker 2: I mean, if you think about a human refrigerator, your
- 9:33Speaker 2: first thought is like a.
- 9:35Speaker 3: Morgue, right, yeah, pretty much.
- 9:39Speaker 2: Japan's latest achievement in keeping yourself cool is the Dohaimann
- 9:44Speaker 2: Box personal refrigerator personal. Yes, this summer, it has been
- 9:50Speaker 2: brutally hot. Yeah, we all know this, including Japan. Japan
- 9:57Speaker 2: of their government officially invented a new word for ninety
- 10:02Speaker 2: five degree plus days. Air Conditioning is common in Japan. However,
- 10:08Speaker 2: the Japanese are thrifty and don't turn their acon all
- 10:11Speaker 2: the time, pretty much only when they absolutely can't stand
- 10:14Speaker 2: the heat anymore. And in some cases, you know, based
- 10:19Speaker 2: on I mean it is a relatively small island. Public
- 10:21Speaker 2: authorities frequently discourage ac used to reduce stress on the
- 10:25Speaker 2: power distribution.
- 10:26Speaker 3: Right, makes sense. They do take up a lot of power.
- 10:29Speaker 2: So what do you what do you do when you
- 10:31Speaker 2: need to stay cool? Well, japan says, climb into a
- 10:34Speaker 2: creepy aluminum tank that looks like it belongs in a mortuary. No,
- 10:41Speaker 2: here is a I will show you guys a picture
- 10:43Speaker 2: of it. We can post it online if you guys
- 10:44Speaker 2: want to. But it's literally literally. Yeah, it looks like
- 10:50Speaker 2: it's like a refrigerator with a bench that you can
- 10:53Speaker 2: sit on, as.
- 10:53Speaker 4: A metal industrial refrigerator that you see behind the lunch ladies.
- 10:59Speaker 3: Yeah, it kind of what's at the cafeteria. Yeah, it's
- 11:02Speaker 3: a glass door. Yeah. Does it actually seal?
- 11:06Speaker 2: I mean, I don't think it can seal permanently. I
- 11:09Speaker 2: don't think there's I was.
- 11:10Speaker 3: Worried about it or if it was gonna be like
- 11:11Speaker 3: a robot box. But it cut off at the head
- 11:13Speaker 3: and necker. It's like a boxing wearing.
- 11:15Speaker 2: I'm like, no, thank you, but but there is a
- 11:19Speaker 2: legitimate cause for this. On July fifteenth alone, in a
- 11:25Speaker 2: single day, forty eight forty eight people in Tokyo had
- 11:28Speaker 2: to be checked into a hospital due to heatstroke. Oh yeah,
- 11:32Speaker 2: so this is not for nothing.
- 11:35Speaker 3: Oh no, how much does it one of those things cost? Though?
- 11:39Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 11:40Speaker 3: Yah.
- 11:41Speaker 2: It is six and a half feet tall. It weighs
- 11:43Speaker 2: almost six hundred and fifty pounds.
- 11:45Speaker 3: Holy shit.
- 11:46Speaker 2: It has four large castor wheels so it can be
- 11:49Speaker 2: rolled around.
- 11:50Speaker 3: Okay, so yeah, so yeah, you're right, it's just like that.
- 11:53Speaker 3: It is just like that. It's a fucking cool or whatever.
- 11:56Speaker 3: It's a two door cooler.
- 11:58Speaker 2: But it works remarkably well. Inside it is a steady
- 12:03Speaker 2: of fifty nine degrees and the vents and it blow
- 12:07Speaker 2: forty one degree air onto the user's head and neck.
- 12:11Speaker 2: This quickly lowers the body temperature and provides relief on
- 12:13Speaker 2: a hellishly hot day. It will cool the user down
- 12:16Speaker 2: within minutes, but you shouldn't sit in these temperatures for
- 12:19Speaker 2: a long time, obviously fifteen minutes most and the box
- 12:23Speaker 2: actively looks after the user after activation. It automatically shuts
- 12:27Speaker 2: off after fifteen minutes and won't turn back on for
- 12:30Speaker 2: a moment. Yeah, so you can't really hog the cooler
- 12:34Speaker 2: and just keep yourself in it all day. It is
- 12:36Speaker 2: literally just for you to sit in there, take a break.
- 12:39Speaker 3: Yeah, cool down and get and then get back to it.
- 12:41Speaker 3: Like that would be great in a kitchen. The holy
- 12:43Speaker 3: fuck I have I.
- 12:45Speaker 2: Have found a price for it?
- 12:46Speaker 3: Oh you did?
- 12:47Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, it's remarkably affordable.
- 12:51Speaker 3: What really?
- 12:52Speaker 2: Yeah, at the low low price of about ninety two
- 12:55Speaker 2: hundred American dollars.
- 12:57Speaker 3: Holy fuck you? You know what? People are gonna die?
- 13:00Speaker 3: Office will save lives? Not in ninety two hundred dollars?
- 13:03Speaker 3: And how much does it cost to run that bitch?
- 13:04Speaker 3: On top of it?
- 13:05Speaker 2: I mean, to be fair, it does look like kitchen equipment.
- 13:09Speaker 2: It looks like industrial kitchen equipment rather than like a
- 13:12Speaker 2: home personal thing. But Japanese homes are so small they
- 13:16Speaker 2: really don't have a choice, and.
- 13:17Speaker 3: They don't have a lot of industrial equipment like we
- 13:20Speaker 3: do in our homes now.
- 13:22Speaker 4: But I think I'll just go on and just spend
- 13:24Speaker 4: the two hundred a month and I'll get a passive
- 13:26Speaker 4: aggressive letter from National Grade once in a while.
- 13:29Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I think that might be the better choice.
- 13:30Speaker 2: Their power is.
- 13:31Speaker 3: Just much more in your neighbors using less power than you.
- 13:34Speaker 2: Well, my neighbor is a bitch.
- 13:35Speaker 3: Then those numbers.
- 13:47Speaker 4: Look, if the data centers can use it all the
- 13:49Speaker 4: power they want.
- 13:50Speaker 3: We can use them. Yeah. Yeah, you know what, I'm
- 13:53Speaker 3: right there to fuck with you. You're stealing our power.
- 13:56Speaker 3: You aren't an entity. Fuck off.
- 13:59Speaker 2: You know.
- 13:59Speaker 3: I heard all people doing this thing, and I'm not
- 14:01Speaker 3: condoning it. But you can throw like bamboo seeds all
- 14:05Speaker 3: around data centers. You don't need to.
- 14:07Speaker 4: Apparently there's people going on to work sites and stealing
- 14:12Speaker 4: like millions of dollars in golden coppers off the cables
- 14:17Speaker 4: because they get they're just leaving them out.
- 14:20Speaker 3: I kind of love it. Good fuck them. If you're
- 14:23Speaker 3: a data center.
- 14:25Speaker 2: I'm fairly certain the data center isn't listening to us,
- 14:29Speaker 2: But then again, it's possible than one.
- 14:31Speaker 4: Who are AI data center, so they probably are, in
- 14:33Speaker 4: which case.
- 14:34Speaker 2: They literally steal everything from the Internet, and that includes podcasts,
- 14:37Speaker 2: we'll would assume, so stealing we are a data center.
- 14:41Speaker 2: First of all, go fuck yourself, and secondly, I hope
- 14:45Speaker 2: you get all the ram and storage stole out of
- 14:48Speaker 2: you and sold to uh computer builders at a fair price, a.
- 14:52Speaker 3: Super cheap price.
- 14:54Speaker 4: The ram stolen out of you goes to a young
- 14:56Speaker 4: kid who learns to be a hacker to fucking break
- 14:58Speaker 4: your ship.
- 15:00Speaker 2: Yes, he becomes ai vengd ai killer.
- 15:04Speaker 3: Yeah, he uses your insights to take your kind.
- 15:07Speaker 2: Of vigilante fuck. Yeah, vigilant guys, that's awesome.
- 15:10Speaker 3: Let's go Robert Jannis on board.
- 15:12Speaker 2: Let's do it.
- 15:14Speaker 3: It's illegal, It is fucking internet to say that I
- 15:19Speaker 3: don't care anymore.
- 15:20Speaker 4: I can still be my drinking water making so much
- 15:25Speaker 4: fucking noise that it's literally causing people migraine.
- 15:28Speaker 2: Yeah, Christ, and then.
- 15:30Speaker 4: Increasing the cost of electricity while being yelled at to
- 15:34Speaker 4: use less electricity.
- 15:36Speaker 2: They can suck the biggest part of my dick.
- 15:38Speaker 3: Yeah, which is all of it?
- 15:40Speaker 2: Which is all of it? Because is huge data. It's
- 15:45Speaker 2: literally a known fact. Sorry, we all need so at
- 15:48Speaker 2: least this new version. Let's move on to story number two. Yeah,
- 15:53Speaker 2: number two. Uh, Greek drivers still use destroyed bridge to
- 15:57Speaker 2: save twenty minutes on commute. So I mean we've all
- 16:03Speaker 2: taken shortcuts to save time.
- 16:05Speaker 3: Yes, you know, not gonna lie yet, even if the
- 16:07Speaker 3: road has.
- 16:08Speaker 2: Some potholes, no big deal, or just dirt. Well, some
- 16:13Speaker 2: years ago, back in twenty twenty two, I believe it's
- 16:16Speaker 2: either twenty twenty two or twenty twenty three, a strong
- 16:18Speaker 2: storm knocked a certain bridge out of commission. In the aftermath,
- 16:22Speaker 2: structural damage caused the bridge to sag in the middle,
- 16:25Speaker 2: nearly plunging into the river below. But it's still floating above.
- 16:28Speaker 2: It's still I don't know if it's floating. It might
- 16:30Speaker 2: be sitting, but it's still above the water line. But
- 16:33Speaker 2: only just fucked. No, the bridge has been devastated for
- 16:39Speaker 2: since then. Lack of available funds has stopped any repair efforts,
- 16:44Speaker 2: and officially the bridge is closed. You wouldn't think that
- 16:48Speaker 2: if you were to watch the traffic going over the bridge, though,
- 16:50Speaker 2: because locals are still using the bridge.
- 16:53Speaker 3: How big is this bridge? Erin, I'm just curious.
- 16:56Speaker 2: I'll show you another picture. Is it is?
- 17:02Speaker 4: I'd say, a good imagine and then have it ben
- 17:07Speaker 4: downwards at the middle.
- 17:09Speaker 2: Yeah, that's pretty much what it looks like.
- 17:11Speaker 3: Bridge.
- 17:12Speaker 2: Yeah, the bridge is sloped down towards the middle where
- 17:15Speaker 2: the middle part sank.
- 17:18Speaker 3: Show it's in there. Look at that ship. Oh my God,
- 17:21Speaker 3: that's crazy.
- 17:24Speaker 2: So the storm was much much worse than just this
- 17:28Speaker 2: one bridge. Seventeen people in Greece lost their lives, and
- 17:33Speaker 2: damages counted in the billions, and rivers swept away were
- 17:38Speaker 2: heavily damaged. Dozens of bridges. This one, however, essentially broken
- 17:46Speaker 2: two places, but not completely. Like I said, it's middle
- 17:49Speaker 2: section slumped down so it's inches from the surface, and
- 17:52Speaker 2: the remaining it just kind of sloped down to meet it.
- 17:56Speaker 2: That's a big Technically, it is still traversible and a
- 18:01Speaker 2: lot of cars are still traversing over it, but close
- 18:06Speaker 2: to the republic. I mean, here's the thing is like,
- 18:10Speaker 2: and this is why they're doing it because the next
- 18:12Speaker 2: nearest bridge is twenty minutes away. Oh wow, twenty minute drive,
- 18:18Speaker 2: So you have to go really far out of your
- 18:21Speaker 2: way to avoid using these p so.
- 18:22Speaker 3: It's like fuck distance.
- 18:24Speaker 2: A lot of people do it, but it didn't really
- 18:27Speaker 2: become news until a local news outlet was filming the
- 18:32Speaker 2: devastation with a drone and they saw a forward pickup
- 18:35Speaker 2: truck slowly crawling over the bridge, taking care to not
- 18:40Speaker 2: disturb the structure too much, and as they watched, many others,
- 18:46Speaker 2: most in vehicles that are normally capable of tackling ruggords
- 18:49Speaker 2: range like trucks and so forth also used the nearly
- 18:52Speaker 2: destroyed bridge.
- 18:53Speaker 3: Okay, I wonder how that that that that angle at
- 18:56Speaker 3: the at the dip of that was Like, dude, like
- 18:59Speaker 3: my car would get stuck. Stuck.
- 19:01Speaker 2: And then there are those who aren't locals and arrive
- 19:04Speaker 2: at the bridge by accident. Those GPS devices some still
- 19:07Speaker 2: lead drivers to it. There are no entry signs on
- 19:12Speaker 2: both sides of the bridge, but they're obviously not clearly visible,
- 19:16Speaker 2: or they're too easy to ignore, or they go f.
- 19:19Speaker 3: It yep, don't have things, guys.
- 19:22Speaker 2: So the public has started demanding that the government install
- 19:26Speaker 2: actual physical barriers to stop any traffic and going over
- 19:29Speaker 2: the hedge.
- 19:30Speaker 4: We have to, yeah, post a cop on one end
- 19:32Speaker 4: of the bridge. That's the only way.
- 19:34Speaker 3: Yeah, it could be a stupid people die every time
- 19:38Speaker 3: they do it.
- 19:39Speaker 2: Saving twenty minutes is not worth risking my life. I
- 19:42Speaker 2: have nightmares sometimes about like bridges collapsing while I'm on
- 19:47Speaker 2: them in my car. Though I think I've seen you
- 19:50Speaker 2: seen enough scary movies to have that concern, you.
- 19:54Speaker 4: Know, even though this is not like from around here.
- 19:58Speaker 4: I think the idea is still the same.
- 20:00Speaker 3: In that.
- 20:02Speaker 4: The issue is is that obviously it's infrastructure that needs
- 20:07Speaker 4: to get fixed. Otherwise it wouldn't probably needed to be
- 20:10Speaker 4: fixed for a while. Otherwise it would never would have
- 20:12Speaker 4: collapsed in the first place.
- 20:14Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, that's true.
- 20:15Speaker 4: And yeah, to put somebody twenty minutes out of their
- 20:19Speaker 4: way just to go what would have probably took them
- 20:22Speaker 4: maybe close to five to ten. If you're just going
- 20:27Speaker 4: like into town, just go shopping or whatever, go the
- 20:30Speaker 4: long way, take it safe. But like for these people
- 20:33Speaker 4: who are like need to go into town to go
- 20:35Speaker 4: to work or something else important or anything like that,
- 20:39Speaker 4: like there should be when shit like this happens, there
- 20:42Speaker 4: should be a mandate to like extend shit like that.
- 20:44Speaker 4: Be like, hey, if you were if you live in
- 20:46Speaker 4: this area and you go into this town to work,
- 20:49Speaker 4: the bridge between is out. We've informed all employee employers
- 20:54Speaker 4: there that, hey, your workers might take some time getting there.
- 20:57Speaker 4: Consider extending their time to get to work or have
- 21:00Speaker 4: them come in later so they have time to get
- 21:02Speaker 4: into work or whatever. Because a lot of times it's
- 21:05Speaker 4: like you don't have time to get up at the
- 21:06Speaker 4: ass crack of dawn and then drive an additional twenty
- 21:10Speaker 4: minutes out of your way that took some place that
- 21:12Speaker 4: would have took you like ten minutes.
- 21:13Speaker 3: Yeah, no, that's true. I get it. And then you
- 21:16Speaker 3: have everything.
- 21:17Speaker 4: But and then these people, though, feel obligated to take
- 21:20Speaker 4: these risks because well, they can't afford to take that
- 21:23Speaker 4: extra time, because what if they show up to the
- 21:25Speaker 4: late work and then suddenly they're in trouble for something
- 21:28Speaker 4: they can't have any control.
- 21:31Speaker 2: And I'm just like, yeah, like, because you you have
- 21:34Speaker 2: no idea how structurally sound that is? No, Like, there's
- 21:38Speaker 2: there's every chance a single.
- 21:39Speaker 3: Drive beetle juice, they fell through a wood bridge. I mean,
- 21:43Speaker 3: would strong as fuck?
- 21:46Speaker 2: I don't know about this strong ish strong is. Let's
- 21:50Speaker 2: move into our third and final story. Yes, perfectly. Sane
- 21:54Speaker 2: scientists develop miniature scuba suits for their remote controlled zombie cockroaches. Yep, yeah, Stevie,
- 22:03Speaker 2: you sound like you already know what I'm talking.
- 22:05Speaker 3: No, but I'm all for it. Let's do this shit.
- 22:07Speaker 3: This is how we discover a ship that we can't
- 22:09Speaker 3: do and get into places that we can't because radioactivity.
- 22:14Speaker 4: Why zombie cockroaches regular?
- 22:17Speaker 2: That's interesting, off. Stevie's exactly on the course of thinking
- 22:22Speaker 2: that scientists are genis not. I don't know about that.
- 22:28Speaker 2: By inserting probes into the roaches nervous systems, scientists have
- 22:32Speaker 2: figured out how to pilot cockroaches like tiny robots.
- 22:36Speaker 3: That's fascinating.
- 22:37Speaker 2: They're lebottomized. Cockroach slaves come in useful in scenarios requiring
- 22:43Speaker 2: access to extremely tight spaces like construction or disaster.
- 22:48Speaker 4: The discovery is surely unique and awesome. The implications, however,
- 22:54Speaker 4: are they're not great.
- 22:56Speaker 3: No ethical thing to me is not right. You're taking
- 22:58Speaker 3: control of a living being. Yeah, that's bothers the fun
- 23:02Speaker 3: I know, it's I know, it's.
- 23:02Speaker 4: All no, no, no, no, no. We're not taking control
- 23:05Speaker 4: of a living being. You're take controlling of a corpse.
- 23:07Speaker 4: It's not a living being anymore. It's a decaying organic material.
- 23:11Speaker 4: So and that's the thing. There's no reversing that either.
- 23:14Speaker 4: So eventually those cocklers are going to deter to the
- 23:17Speaker 4: point of unusability. Anyways, However, the implications of essentially hijacking
- 23:22Speaker 4: somebody's corpse to do what.
- 23:24Speaker 3: Exactly and then being able to later hey humans, Yeah,
- 23:29Speaker 3: I am Fallout the TV show.
- 23:33Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean not goalification, but definitely something old fucked yeah,
- 23:37Speaker 4: because they will do so.
- 23:38Speaker 2: The scientists ran into one problem one but water is
- 23:43Speaker 2: the one place cockriage just can't survive. Their drones kept
- 23:47Speaker 2: down and kept drowning in puzzle of puddles and water
- 23:51Speaker 2: logged areas. So, you know, instead of like saying, hey,
- 23:56Speaker 2: maybe we need a different solution, maybe we could build
- 23:59Speaker 2: tiny machees that we were not actively harming living things.
- 24:02Speaker 2: Oh yeah, they built tiny diving suits for the cockroaches.
- 24:09Speaker 4: They're biologies, not engineers, or maybe they are, who knows.
- 24:16Speaker 3: Hold that one. Still, I gotta get his measure again,
- 24:18Speaker 3: this feels like because I believe you're right, Aaron, like
- 24:23Speaker 3: in this case, at this point, drone technology is now.
- 24:26Speaker 4: Getting too crazy crazy and underwater robots too, yeah, of
- 24:31Speaker 4: all sorts, and so it almost seems like kind of stupid.
- 24:35Speaker 4: I mean, I guess if you're.
- 24:37Speaker 3: Like the government, right, well it obviously.
- 24:41Speaker 4: Obviously no, no sane person would be funding this No,
- 24:46Speaker 4: because like again, the implications and the fact is is
- 24:50Speaker 4: that again they're trying to preserve a corpse and the
- 24:55Speaker 4: implications of that with everything else going on. Yes, this
- 25:01Speaker 4: could help with scientific discovery, but all it takes is
- 25:05Speaker 4: one one person with an idea and being like hmm,
- 25:10Speaker 4: forever soldiers.
- 25:12Speaker 3: Yep, yep, and it'll start with oh, we can't turn
- 25:16Speaker 3: your dog to let your dog do whatever or whatever
- 25:18Speaker 3: you wanted to do, and then it's going to go
- 25:20Speaker 3: to humans.
- 25:20Speaker 5: No.
- 25:21Speaker 4: At first it's signed consent, and then it's and then
- 25:24Speaker 4: it's verbal consent, and then it's consents whenever.
- 25:27Speaker 2: The researcher has created a tiny scuba suit that supplies
- 25:34Speaker 2: the enslaved cockroaches with oxygen underwater. Instead of like a
- 25:39Speaker 2: rubbery close fitting outfit like you'd have on humans, it's
- 25:42Speaker 2: a three D printed watertight shell that slips over the
- 25:46Speaker 2: roaches abdomen and then from the suit, tiny tubes stretch
- 25:50Speaker 2: into the roaches spiracles through which they absorb box done
- 25:56Speaker 2: ends on the shell contains chemicals that react to produce oxygen,
- 26:01Speaker 2: so no oxygen tank is required. Uh and it works excellently.
- 26:05Speaker 2: It barely hindered the roaches movements on land, and they
- 26:08Speaker 2: could speed through water as well.
- 26:12Speaker 3: Damn yeah, I don't. I'm I'm not for that ship at.
- 26:17Speaker 4: I don't know it was for this ship at the beginning,
- 26:19Speaker 4: and then he wasn't once he realized.
- 26:21Speaker 2: I was zombie cockroaches.
- 26:23Speaker 3: I was like, Oh, this is adorable. He's gonna make
- 26:24Speaker 3: it something and slim.
- 26:25Speaker 2: Can you imagine if some asshole gets a hold of
- 26:28Speaker 2: this technology, Yeah, I would like to start snooping on
- 26:32Speaker 2: every woman he's ever had a crush on, like the
- 26:34Speaker 2: world's worst stalker.
- 26:35Speaker 4: No, I'd like to be clear here, The anatomy of
- 26:38Speaker 4: a cockroach or is an enemy of pretty much anything else, like, say, example,
- 26:41Speaker 4: a human are completely different. Oh yeah, the human Like
- 26:44Speaker 4: the rigor ringamortis of a human corps would kick in
- 26:47Speaker 4: so fucking fast, and you're not piloting ship, You're piloting.
- 26:50Speaker 3: A brick at that point. Yeah, it only works.
- 26:53Speaker 4: The only reason why it's working with cockroaches because they're
- 26:55Speaker 4: literally built different like hydraulic little beetles, So that would
- 27:00Speaker 4: be the only thing I would actually work on. Still, however,
- 27:04Speaker 4: you are using organic things to go in and do.
- 27:09Speaker 2: Exploring living creature or formerly.
- 27:13Speaker 3: Covert. Yeah, no one's going to suspect the cockroach.
- 27:16Speaker 2: To be fair. If I see a cockroach in my apartment,
- 27:18Speaker 2: I'm killing the fuck out of it. But I'm just
- 27:21Speaker 2: saying this cockroach a little school, I'm killing it faster
- 27:28Speaker 2: and smushing it harder.
- 27:29Speaker 3: You know what I'm doing, get the aquarium.
- 27:31Speaker 2: Out and setting the remains on fire.
- 27:35Speaker 3: It's a new fish anyway.
- 27:38Speaker 2: That's all three of our stories. Our players just have
- 27:41Speaker 2: to tell me which one they would like, which one
- 27:43Speaker 2: I would like, which one I would share, which one
- 27:44Speaker 2: would block ogie for no particular reason.
- 27:47Speaker 3: I'm going to start with you, Okay, don't choose mine,
- 27:50Speaker 3: I wrote, mind out choose his.
- 27:52Speaker 2: He already wrote I.
- 27:53Speaker 3: Don't know what.
- 27:56Speaker 4: I already forgot what they all are.
- 27:58Speaker 2: Her first story was the More a Bit Human Refrigerators,
- 28:02Speaker 2: the second one was the Greek Driver still using the
- 28:04Speaker 2: destroyed bridge, and story number three saying scientists developed tiny
- 28:08Speaker 2: scuba suits for their's remote controlled zombie, one of the
- 28:13Speaker 2: funniest sentences I've ever written.
- 28:17Speaker 4: Right, Yes, all right, you would probably share the fridge,
- 28:23Speaker 4: just because Japan always does. Like Japan has been very
- 28:26Speaker 4: innovative when it comes to certain things, like you have
- 28:29Speaker 4: ever seen their like solo hotels literally just tubes, They're
- 28:34Speaker 4: literally just looks awesome. I'm gonna be honest, I would
- 28:36Speaker 4: totally be down for that.
- 28:37Speaker 2: I would be terrified, No, I would I would be
- 28:40Speaker 2: comfort I don't have claustrophobia. Unless those enclosed spaces are
- 28:45Speaker 2: really enclosed, then I get it bad. No, I don't
- 28:49Speaker 2: think I could sleep in the two.
- 28:51Speaker 3: I'll sleep outside next year.
- 28:52Speaker 4: I damn near took a nap in the back of
- 28:54Speaker 4: a trunk of.
- 28:55Speaker 2: A car, even in the sleeping bag. Have to have
- 29:00Speaker 2: my head out of it.
- 29:03Speaker 4: I'm all about that. So yeah, so like personally, and
- 29:08Speaker 4: I think you would too, sharing that stuff because again innovative.
- 29:11Speaker 3: Yeah, nothing else. I think you probably block the cockroach.
- 29:17Speaker 4: Thing to be on hundreds and I would have too,
- 29:19Speaker 4: just because I mean, again, the scientific discovery of being
- 29:23Speaker 4: able to go to certain areas that like electronics couldn't
- 29:26Speaker 4: because of interference or something like that. But again, we're
- 29:29Speaker 4: getting to the point where that is also so insulated.
- 29:31Speaker 4: That's not that's not an issue. So this seems like
- 29:34Speaker 4: a step backwards in a way, not really not really forward.
- 29:40Speaker 4: And then of course, uh, liking the bridge not because
- 29:44Speaker 4: of what people are doing, but because no one's actually
- 29:46Speaker 4: gotten hurt from it, and hopefully by now it's probably
- 29:50Speaker 4: been fixed.
- 29:51Speaker 2: It still hasn't.
- 29:53Speaker 3: That is shitty. That's a failure.
- 29:56Speaker 2: That's that's a that's a failure on officials.
- 30:00Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 30:00Speaker 4: Yeah, they should have the same people forcing you to
- 30:02Speaker 4: compute an extra twenty minutes, or the same people at
- 30:04Speaker 4: fault here.
- 30:07Speaker 3: At the town hall at noon.
- 30:11Speaker 4: Anyway, Yeah, they'll they'll put they'll put forth the funding
- 30:14Speaker 4: to put barriers up and not fix the fucking thing.
- 30:17Speaker 2: It works right anyway. Uh, Stevie, you can keep one
- 30:21Speaker 2: of his, but you have to swap the other two.
- 30:23Speaker 3: I'm definitely keeping the blocking the cockroaches. I'm right there
- 30:26Speaker 3: with you. I unethical to me, I'm I'm big about ethics.
- 30:31Speaker 1: Also, I don't believe him, but.
- 30:38Speaker 3: I'm gonna trying to win a game. Oh he paid me.
- 30:43Speaker 3: I'm trying to figure. I think I'm gonna, yeah, swap
- 30:46Speaker 3: the other two. I'm gonna like the fridge because I
- 30:48Speaker 3: do like I think it's knowing that what it is now.
- 30:52Speaker 3: I thought it was something different. I didn't realize there
- 30:53Speaker 3: was no door, and it's like, who's up this fucking
- 30:55Speaker 3: idiot started by putting somebody in a real fridge. I
- 30:57Speaker 3: know it's gonna happen, and I'm like, people are, don't.
- 31:01Speaker 2: I mean, let's be honest here.
- 31:03Speaker 4: That trend kicks off there and then we hear about
- 31:05Speaker 4: it here Americans are just gonna be tearing out their
- 31:07Speaker 4: freaking shelves out of their fridge.
- 31:10Speaker 3: There see, I got my own right.
- 31:14Speaker 2: The light turns off every time.
- 31:17Speaker 3: I don't like that part of a night light, like
- 31:21Speaker 3: the human fridge. And I'm gonna share the Greek drivers
- 31:25Speaker 3: because that needs fucking awareness. And you people, and yeah,
- 31:29Speaker 3: I said, you people that are having this issue in
- 31:32Speaker 3: your town, you need to really like get on your
- 31:35Speaker 3: electric elected officials because that's some bs and that should
- 31:39Speaker 3: not be talking.
- 31:39Speaker 2: We need to get out of the mindset that inconvenience
- 31:42Speaker 2: is somehow more important than your life.
- 31:45Speaker 3: Yeah, don't do that. I mean, you're you're more valuable
- 31:47Speaker 3: than that.
- 31:47Speaker 2: That is crazy.
- 31:48Speaker 4: Don't settle, don't don't settle for what's convenient because it's easy.
- 31:53Speaker 2: Absolutely all right. Well, the fact of the matter is, Tevie,
- 31:56Speaker 2: it didn't really matter what you picked because you already
- 31:58Speaker 2: had it exactly right.
- 31:59Speaker 3: And he didn't even choose the stuff I chose.
- 32:02Speaker 2: Yeah, no, I absolutely blocked the dommy cockroaches because fuck no,
- 32:07Speaker 2: fuck no. Not only is it not only does it
- 32:10Speaker 2: feel morally wrong, it also, like I said, it has
- 32:15Speaker 2: the power to be misused, and that is a huge problem.
- 32:18Speaker 2: It feels backwards like that kind of that kind of
- 32:21Speaker 2: technology could be misused in a lot of really really
- 32:24Speaker 2: disturbing like that could have.
- 32:25Speaker 3: Been great World War two, Nazi fighting. Fine use it.
- 32:29Speaker 2: Then, So it came down to whether I would share
- 32:32Speaker 2: the refrigerators or the bridge, and really, of the two,
- 32:37Speaker 2: the one I liked more was the human refrigerators. That
- 32:39Speaker 2: at least is somewhat funny to me. It is little
- 32:43Speaker 2: cooling closets for ten thousand dollars. That's crazy. And also
- 32:49Speaker 2: maybe just because I'm old, but the idea of fifty
- 32:52Speaker 2: nine degrees is like, like that's too fucking cold. Yeah,
- 32:57Speaker 2: you're gonna walk in there and you're gonna get like
- 32:58Speaker 2: freezer burn or something.
- 33:00Speaker 3: Actually, the cold therapy one of the things I was
- 33:02Speaker 3: thinking about starting up.
- 33:03Speaker 2: Oh yeah, it's actually yeah, because like I've gotten to
- 33:07Speaker 2: the point now where my my temperature in my place
- 33:10Speaker 2: is turned up to seventy and I'm like, Jesus, I'm
- 33:12Speaker 2: turning into my dad.
- 33:13Speaker 3: Yeah, getting center.
- 33:14Speaker 2: But yeah, it's circulation and yeah, blugginting center, El's all
- 33:18Speaker 2: those things.
- 33:18Speaker 3: Yeah, it happens. I know I'm always cold, it's just
- 33:20Speaker 3: the way it is.
- 33:21Speaker 2: But I was like, when I read fifty nine degrees,
- 33:23Speaker 2: I went, I don't think I could do that. And
- 33:26Speaker 2: I couldn't share the Greek drivers still using the destroyed bridge,
- 33:29Speaker 2: because that's just stupidity. It's it's not nasty enough for
- 33:33Speaker 2: me to block it, but I can't share that.
- 33:35Speaker 3: That's fair, it's fair. It had to be.
- 33:36Speaker 2: Like so Ogi wins. It's one episode point is one
- 33:41Speaker 2: to zero in his favor. But Stevie, do not fret,
- 33:44Speaker 2: my boy, do not be of concern. There are two
- 33:47Speaker 2: more games left. The next game is gonna be Game two.
- 33:49Speaker 2: It's gonna be we're two episode points and we're gonna
- 33:51Speaker 2: play that game right after this bound bound mail bag.
- 34:06Speaker 3: Mail bag getting them letters, Well it almost.
- 34:13Speaker 2: Worked, except for the auto play partner.
- 34:20Speaker 3: I hate this fuck it mail bag.
- 34:26Speaker 2: Are we just going into it?
- 34:27Speaker 3: Yeah, fog Yeah, I'll cut things or I won't. It'll
- 34:29Speaker 3: be funny. You guys think it's funny, I'll leave it in. Hey,
- 34:32Speaker 3: they thought it was funny, we're living it in.
- 34:35Speaker 2: How did you get an answer? Anyway? Uh, welcome to
- 34:39Speaker 2: the mail bag. We're gonna go over your emails comments,
- 34:44Speaker 2: so if you guys send us uh this week, I
- 34:46Speaker 2: think we've just got comments. We got a bunch of them.
- 34:48Speaker 3: Yeah, we got a few. So I did a thing,
- 34:51Speaker 3: Yes you did, and if you absolutely, I'm off a
- 34:56Speaker 3: little bit for summer vacation. So I started a little
- 34:58Speaker 3: mini cooking show. Yes, it's called Midnight Cement Midnight Snack
- 35:03Speaker 3: with midnight smoke.
- 35:04Speaker 2: Did you almost say midnight smack?
- 35:06Speaker 3: I did. That's gonna be my late night freaking around
- 35:10Speaker 3: the corner deals. You want to smash them midnight smack,
- 35:17Speaker 3: I'm like, yeah, man, like twenty five bucks and I
- 35:18Speaker 3: smack them. But I posted the intro music I created
- 35:25Speaker 3: using some sound files I got through humble Bundle, and
- 35:29Speaker 3: I have my little logo I created and we have
- 35:31Speaker 3: a couple of comments on it.
- 35:33Speaker 6: So the first one was from Gina Wells from The
- 35:35Speaker 6: Fink Show and she said, holy shit, I feel like
- 35:38Speaker 6: I'm ready to play mega man love it, its to it.
- 35:43Speaker 3: Fuck. Yeah. That's what really drew me to that first
- 35:46Speaker 3: sound bite too. I was like, oh, this is awesome.
- 35:49Speaker 3: And then the second one is from Kristin Farley so
- 35:51Speaker 3: excited for this. Oh me too. I get Wait, there's
- 35:54Speaker 3: gonna be a fun little journey. I have like a
- 35:56Speaker 3: mini series pretty much set up right now, it's looking
- 35:59Speaker 3: like eight Upisisodes three are done.
- 36:02Speaker 2: Dude, if you want, like, I can dig up the
- 36:04Speaker 2: video from the first or second test Master. I think
- 36:08Speaker 2: it was the second test Master, the one hundredth episode one,
- 36:10Speaker 2: the one where you were given instructions as to how
- 36:12Speaker 2: to make a French toast. Oh my god, I forgot
- 36:17Speaker 2: that funny and I wish I was there for that,
- 36:20Speaker 2: and it could be like it could be like.
- 36:21Speaker 7: The proto the prototype episode. It's a fantastic clip and
- 36:33Speaker 7: it got so.
- 36:33Speaker 2: Many laughs on the day. Yeah, we got it. It
- 36:37Speaker 2: would be a fun That would be a fun one
- 36:39Speaker 2: for sure.
- 36:40Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 36:42Speaker 3: Oh and our next one comes from our very first
- 36:45Speaker 3: episode with midnights as well, because you released on Patreoh
- 36:49Speaker 3: you released an episode I did. So it starts out slow,
- 36:54Speaker 3: but hopefully you really enjoy what it is. It's how
- 36:57Speaker 3: you make rice interesting, very simple. Okay, So I started
- 37:04Speaker 3: getting photos of stuff first, and I made pretty much
- 37:06Speaker 3: a voiceover show for the first couple episodes. The third
- 37:09Speaker 3: episode has video in it. The fourth one's gonna be
- 37:11Speaker 3: straight up just I got a new camera so I'm
- 37:13Speaker 3: able to actually do ship now. Yeah, so this next
- 37:16Speaker 3: comment came from Christen Farley again and it was excellent
- 37:20Speaker 3: with a little rice bull so, hell yeah, I'm cooking,
- 37:28Speaker 3: you are Yeah, I'm cooking yo, And and then get
- 37:31Speaker 3: this news because I'm cooking. I'm getting a cook tattoo. Yeah,
- 37:36Speaker 3: I'm getting a little spatula and a chef's nice crossing
- 37:38Speaker 3: each other. On the other hand, I'm gonna make you stuff.
- 37:44Speaker 2: Are you very all right?
- 37:47Speaker 3: Hell yeah?
- 37:48Speaker 2: All right? Well if that is all that's it, then
- 37:51Speaker 2: let's get back to the show.
- 37:55Speaker 5: I'm Richie aka Midnight Agent Raw.
- 37:58Speaker 3: I'm Devin aka Special Livery Dove.
- 38:00Speaker 5: We're the Supermedia Bros. Podcast and each week we give

- 38:15Speaker 5: or anywhere else that you can listen to podcasts.
- 38:18Speaker 2: Shades on We're off. Hey man, welcome back. It's time
- 38:36Speaker 2: for game two. Game two is gonna be one that
- 38:38Speaker 2: we usually don't do until game three. It's gonna be
- 38:40Speaker 2: the dumpster Fire.
- 38:41Speaker 3: Oh cool, Yes, I like it.
- 38:45Speaker 2: I have five subjects here or five categories or other,
- 38:49Speaker 2: and you guys are gonna tell me what about these
- 38:51Speaker 2: categories you would like to see thrown into a dumpster fire,
- 38:54Speaker 2: removed from society forever, cool, whichever one I really like
- 38:58Speaker 2: the idea of no longer you're existing in the world today.
- 39:02Speaker 2: I will give you that point, and the first player
- 39:04Speaker 2: to capture three categories wins the game gets two episode points.
- 39:08Speaker 3: Fair fair Stevie.
- 39:10Speaker 2: Since you lost the last game, you have the choice
- 39:11Speaker 2: do you want to go first or second? The first one.
- 39:14Speaker 3: I want to be a pioneer, sir. I'm gonna you're.
- 39:16Speaker 2: Going first in that case, Sir, your first category.
- 39:18Speaker 3: Is lunch, lunch, lunch?
- 39:21Speaker 2: What about lunch? Would you like to throw into a
- 39:23Speaker 2: dumpster fire?
- 39:24Speaker 6: Oh?
- 39:25Speaker 3: What I would like to throw into the dumpster fire?
- 39:27Speaker 2: Just to keep things moving you a thirty second time?
- 39:29Speaker 3: Thirty second time? Okay, Aaron. Is the fact that we
- 39:33Speaker 3: are also rushed during lunch, whether it be at work
- 39:36Speaker 3: or wherever. Nobody really gets time to sit down for lunch,
- 39:39Speaker 3: to enjoy themselves, to relax and actually eat completely. It's
- 39:43Speaker 3: always rushed because at the most, if you're lucky, you
- 39:46Speaker 3: get thirty minutes somewhere. But oh me, I don't even
- 39:50Speaker 3: get a lunch. It sucks like I'm on my feet
- 39:52Speaker 3: the whole shift Jesus blows. So I'm like trying to
- 39:54Speaker 3: eat something really fast in the middle of cooking.
- 39:57Speaker 2: Wait, that stings.
- 39:58Speaker 3: Yeah, so I'm gonna say that, all right, lunch is
- 40:01Speaker 3: too rushed.
- 40:02Speaker 2: Getting rushed in lunch sucks. Okay, Uh, that would be
- 40:07Speaker 2: a good one to throw away. Let's see if Aggie
- 40:09Speaker 2: can do better. Oggie, when you're ready, go ahead and
- 40:14Speaker 2: tell me what you would like to throw into a
- 40:15Speaker 2: dumpster fire about lunch.
- 40:18Speaker 4: I am ready, and I would like to throw the
- 40:21Speaker 4: onun originality of the food stuffs that is considered lunch items,
- 40:26Speaker 4: as most lunch items can also be dinner items and
- 40:29Speaker 4: oftentimes are dinner items the only real differences between them,
- 40:34Speaker 4: and sometimes dinner items are often heavier, but there are
- 40:36Speaker 4: plenty of lunch items that are also considered heavy. I
- 40:40Speaker 4: believe there should be more of a diverse and more
- 40:42Speaker 4: distinct difference between lunch and dinner items, just like there's
- 40:45Speaker 4: a distinct difference between breakfast and dinner items.
- 40:48Speaker 2: Okay, Wow, intriguing. Okay, so this is harder than I
- 40:56Speaker 2: would have thought.
- 40:57Speaker 3: Wow.
- 40:58Speaker 2: I genuinely thought Stevie had it locked because The one
- 41:01Speaker 2: thing I hate more than anything is being rushed on
- 41:03Speaker 2: my lunch. That I am lucky enough to work at
- 41:06Speaker 2: a company that allows me and how we want to lunch,
- 41:09Speaker 2: so right, but still I hate being told, hey, can
- 41:13Speaker 2: you do this or on lunch? Someone approaches me on lunch,
- 41:17Speaker 2: I get I get irritated. But your time not there
- 41:21Speaker 2: time exactly. I'm not getting paid for this time. Yeah,
- 41:25Speaker 2: that kind of thing anyway. But he also has a
- 41:29Speaker 2: good point.
- 41:29Speaker 3: You know, I do like that, dude, what would you
- 41:34Speaker 3: make to be?
- 41:36Speaker 5: Like?
- 41:36Speaker 3: What what would your thing be? Because I know it's
- 41:38Speaker 3: like a turkey sandwich versus a turkey dinner, Like.
- 41:40Speaker 2: Sandwiches feel like a lunch thing. Sandwiches in general, Ye,
- 41:44Speaker 2: feel like a lunch thing.
- 41:45Speaker 3: That's fair.
- 41:46Speaker 2: You can do sandwiches for dinner like turkey club sandwiches.
- 41:50Speaker 3: For dinner, but sandwiches were the traditional lunch for like
- 41:52Speaker 3: Conci so much that now you can have a sandwich
- 41:58Speaker 3: for the breakfast sandwiches.
- 42:00Speaker 2: Yeah, there's dinner sandwiches. It's been exploited, so to speaks.
- 42:05Speaker 4: Okay, there's no originality between anything. You can literally have breakfast,
- 42:08Speaker 4: dinner and dinner for breakfast.
- 42:09Speaker 2: But it is a very good point. But I am
- 42:11Speaker 2: going to give this one to Stevie's just because of
- 42:14Speaker 2: how irritated I get when I have to rush lunch.
- 42:17Speaker 2: Guinely despise it. It would be cool if we had
- 42:21Speaker 2: more more dedicated lunch choices, but it's not something I despise.
- 42:26Speaker 3: So I mean, I get it.
- 42:27Speaker 2: I'm throwing the I'm throwing the lunch rush, so to speak.
- 42:31Speaker 2: We're being rushed off your lunch into the dumpster fire.
- 42:34Speaker 2: So Stevie gets a point. We're gonna move on to
- 42:36Speaker 2: our second category. Our second category is live sports. Oh
- 42:41Speaker 2: what about being you know? And by live sports, I
- 42:43Speaker 2: mean actually being there, being in an arena, a stadium,
- 42:47Speaker 2: you know, on site of the game as it's being
- 42:49Speaker 2: played in front of you. What about live sports would
- 42:52Speaker 2: you throw into a dumpster fire thirty seconds of the end?
- 42:54Speaker 5: Go?
- 42:55Speaker 4: Well, as someone who's only gone to a live sporting
- 42:58Speaker 4: event exactly once, I from my experience, though, I would
- 43:02Speaker 4: have to legitimately say, uh. It is the pricing, I
- 43:05Speaker 4: would say, especially for like their off season stuff. It
- 43:08Speaker 4: seems like they still overcharge for off season matches and games,
- 43:15Speaker 4: especially in seats that people would love to like get
- 43:18Speaker 4: up close and personal.
- 43:19Speaker 2: It's really hard to see the puck in hockey from
- 43:21Speaker 2: far away.
- 43:21Speaker 3: It's really hard to see the ball and baseball.
- 43:23Speaker 4: From far away.
- 43:24Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, all right, now right there with you, dude.
- 43:27Speaker 3: That's why we didn't go list last season.
- 43:29Speaker 4: Yeah, I think you can't get it. If you don't
- 43:30Speaker 4: get any good seats, it's not really worth going.
- 43:32Speaker 2: All right, Stevie, what about live sports? Would you like
- 43:35Speaker 2: to throw into an umpster fire thirty seconds and go?
- 43:39Speaker 3: I'm gonna have to say, when you go to a
- 43:44Speaker 3: sports event, especially one you're not like really familiar with,
- 43:48Speaker 3: or you go to a lottery you might not know
- 43:50Speaker 3: all the rules for, and you don't feel like you
- 43:52Speaker 3: fit in, it's not so much like, oh, I know
- 43:55Speaker 3: a little bit of baseball. It's like, no, you're just
- 43:57Speaker 3: like you're with like the other team, Like you don't
- 44:00Speaker 3: fit in with that crowd of people that are around you.
- 44:02Speaker 3: Either there being belligerent, they are people constantly hazing you
- 44:06Speaker 3: because you are the other team or whatnot.
- 44:07Speaker 2: But some like that all right time, Uh, very good.
- 44:11Speaker 2: This one has a clear winner. This one goes to Augie.
- 44:14Speaker 2: The price gouging.
- 44:16Speaker 3: Yeah, it's horrible.
- 44:17Speaker 2: At some sports events is only more games, exactly right.
- 44:24Speaker 2: I would be able to afford to go to more
- 44:26Speaker 2: games if I could like go and get a decently
- 44:28Speaker 2: priced pop and you know, the hot dog or whatever
- 44:32Speaker 2: from the concession stamp. Yeah, honestly, it's a stupid expense.
- 44:36Speaker 2: It was stupid expensive before the price of everything jumped
- 44:38Speaker 2: up twenty twenty. But like, I don't know, man, Like
- 44:43Speaker 2: it was bad before, it's got it, it's worse now.
- 44:45Speaker 2: I have not been to a live sport in a
- 44:47Speaker 2: very long time.
- 44:48Speaker 3: It's been a few years.
- 44:49Speaker 2: Uh, and uh, you'd have to give me a damn
- 44:52Speaker 2: good reason to go at this point. So uh, in
- 44:55Speaker 2: any event that one goes to Augie, we're gonna move
- 44:57Speaker 2: on to our third category and Stevie, this time you'll
- 45:00Speaker 2: be leading Stevie. What about techno music would you throw
- 45:04Speaker 2: into a dumpster fire? Or EDM?
- 45:05Speaker 3: If you preferring to music, what.
- 45:08Speaker 2: About techno music would you throw into a dumpster fire?
- 45:12Speaker 3: And why? And your time starts now I'm gonna say, God, God,
- 45:21Speaker 3: when the base drops too hard. When you're actually at
- 45:25Speaker 3: the club, you're you're feeling like you're having a good time,
- 45:28Speaker 3: your vibe and you're with like a group, because usually
- 45:30Speaker 3: it's a group of people that go together. For at least,
- 45:32Speaker 3: it wasn't my experience. You're all vibeing, and all of
- 45:34Speaker 3: a sudden, it just hits way too hard, unexpectedly, for
- 45:38Speaker 3: no fucking reason other than the DJ wants it to
- 45:41Speaker 3: be loud, and there's no reason for it whatsoever to
- 45:45Speaker 3: go with the rest of the flow. That's fucking irritating
- 45:47Speaker 3: all right time.
- 45:49Speaker 2: Okay, over to Augie, can you beat that thirty seconds?
- 45:54Speaker 2: What would you throw away about techno music? Go?
- 45:58Speaker 4: Probably I would throw away the vocalization and techno music.
- 46:04Speaker 4: And I feel like like in some cases, like a
- 46:08Speaker 4: few sentences here and there might kind of make or
- 46:10Speaker 4: break a song, but I feel to really make it
- 46:13Speaker 4: distinct from other genres, like it should be almost an
- 46:17Speaker 4: instrumental based genre, almost exclusively compared to others.
- 46:22Speaker 2: Okay, dude, with five seconds ago, Augie's nailed this one. Yeah, well,
- 46:28Speaker 2: I'm sorry that what I apologized that My biggest problem
- 46:32Speaker 2: with technology is when they tried to sing lyrics over
- 46:35Speaker 2: top of it. Good example that I just checked out
- 46:39Speaker 2: the other day. I was playing some old school Windows
- 46:41Speaker 2: games when Commander Prophecy there's an amazing techno soundtrack. However,
- 46:47Speaker 2: if you bought the soundtrack in the store, what you
- 46:50Speaker 2: got was versions of those songs with the lyrics added in.
- 46:54Speaker 2: Oh gross, So the versions they had in the game
- 46:57Speaker 2: had the lyrics pulled out. So I'm like, I'm expecting
- 47:00Speaker 2: to hear the songs I actually heard while playing the
- 47:02Speaker 2: game instead of hearing this new version with lyrics. And
- 47:05Speaker 2: it's so bad.
- 47:06Speaker 3: It's nothing to what you expected. It's the lyrics absolutely like.
- 47:09Speaker 2: Taking me out of the experience.
- 47:11Speaker 3: Yep.
- 47:12Speaker 2: And I'm like, fuck this, Where do I like rip
- 47:15Speaker 2: or pull the actual music files from me? Because I
- 47:17Speaker 2: want the actual music? You fuck holes?
- 47:20Speaker 3: It sucks.
- 47:21Speaker 2: So Augie, one hundred wins that one use categories to
- 47:25Speaker 2: one point, man, and I'll give this is your chance
- 47:28Speaker 2: to take it home. You just need one more, uh cev.
- 47:31Speaker 2: You need both of these, and Augie, you will go first.
- 47:34Speaker 2: What about and I know it's a favorite of yours,
- 47:37Speaker 2: what about the Nintendo GameCube? Would you throw into a
- 47:42Speaker 2: dumpster fire thirty seconds and.
- 47:44Speaker 3: Go fucking easy? Honestly?
- 47:46Speaker 4: The controller it has one of the more unique controller schemes.
- 47:50Speaker 4: And you know, nefarious Nintendo when it comes to that,
- 47:53Speaker 4: and there's like no modern version of it. So if
- 47:56Speaker 4: you're playing like a GameCube emulator, like the buttons are
- 48:00Speaker 4: just so fucky like because if you look at a
- 48:04Speaker 4: layout of a GameCube, or if you're used to a
- 48:05Speaker 4: layout of a GameCube game, when you're playing GameCube and
- 48:08Speaker 4: you go and play with an Xbox, one way feels
- 48:11Speaker 4: way different. You are constantly hitting the wrong button, so
- 48:14Speaker 4: that overly unique.
- 48:18Speaker 2: That is a good choice, Stevie, I feel like this
- 48:22Speaker 2: can be beaten. You've got thirty seconds and go.
- 48:27Speaker 3: I'll gie you one man unless this wins. The only
- 48:34Speaker 3: thing because I had never played game I know nothing
- 48:36Speaker 3: about it.
- 48:36Speaker 2: The only thing that you played GameCube I played it
- 48:40Speaker 2: with you.
- 48:41Speaker 3: Oh the Mario Tennis thing. Okay, that's the only thing.
- 48:44Speaker 3: Use two buttons anyway, but the only thing I could
- 48:47Speaker 3: throw in the dumpster fire about a GameCube like, no joke, and.
- 48:50Speaker 2: I'll give you an extra universe.
- 48:52Speaker 3: No, no, you're good. This is the universe. This is
- 48:54Speaker 3: how you correct that all the problems in the world.
- 48:57Speaker 3: Doesn't have a GameCube. The fact that Augie doesn't have
- 49:01Speaker 3: a game cube is getting thrown in the dumpster fire.
- 49:04Speaker 3: This man deserves it for one he puts up, what well,
- 49:08Speaker 3: this dumb ass a lot, and like he never fucking complains,
- 49:13Speaker 3: he just does his ship.
- 49:14Speaker 5: So that.
- 49:17Speaker 2: God damn it. Now I feel like ship. I had
- 49:22Speaker 2: a game, I know. I had a game Cube with
- 49:25Speaker 2: one of the most rare accessories. There was the game
- 49:27Speaker 2: Boy Advanced Player bolted on underneath it, and I had
- 49:32Speaker 2: I had Oh.
- 49:33Speaker 3: I forgot they did connect, didn't they?
- 49:35Speaker 2: And I had the I had the game, I had
- 49:37Speaker 2: several controllers, and I have an excellent game collection, like
- 49:42Speaker 2: the Resident Evils, the Melee.
- 49:46Speaker 4: You know, had Pokemon, any of the Pokemons for Advance.
- 49:50Speaker 4: You could literally connect to the GameCube, play Pokemon Colisseum
- 49:53Speaker 4: and trade Pokemon between that game and.
- 49:54Speaker 2: Your What holy ship, and what I should have done?
- 49:58Speaker 2: I feel now is gifted that just given all of them.
- 50:02Speaker 2: Unfortunately I sold it to make money. So it's fine.
- 50:06Speaker 2: The cover art from my book.
- 50:08Speaker 3: That's I just it's okay, It's okay, No, it's cool said.
- 50:15Speaker 2: We have never occurred to me every game might not
- 50:18Speaker 2: have a GameCube and want one like it might. It
- 50:21Speaker 2: never occurred to me in my wildest dreams. Having said
- 50:25Speaker 2: that they got.
- 50:26Speaker 3: To fight the GameCube and all the Pokemon game.
- 50:28Speaker 2: Having said that, Augie still wins this because the one thing,
- 50:33Speaker 2: the one thing I disliked the most about the GameCube
- 50:35Speaker 2: is it's.
- 50:37Speaker 3: The extra button right on the side and then.
- 50:39Speaker 2: Yeah, it's got the button on the one side but
- 50:42Speaker 2: not the other.
- 50:42Speaker 3: It's so fucking weird.
- 50:44Speaker 4: A big a button B and then there's like yeah,
- 50:46Speaker 4: ex and wall.
- 50:48Speaker 2: Like a penis with the little balls and the big
- 50:53Speaker 2: a dick in the middle, and then and then the
- 50:55Speaker 2: b the mushroom head.
- 50:56Speaker 3: The like there's like this, yeah, it was, it was.
- 51:03Speaker 2: It was designed to fucking hurt your thumb if you
- 51:06Speaker 2: played for too long. It was of.
- 51:11Speaker 3: Them to do their homework. You make the controler Soper breaks.
- 51:16Speaker 3: So I'm pretty sure I broke the spring, and.
- 51:21Speaker 2: So Age wins. He's got categories. However, we left the
- 51:25Speaker 2: wild card category. We might return to it because Augie's
- 51:29Speaker 2: got three points. Our next game is also worth three points,
- 51:33Speaker 2: So Stevie, if you win the next game and tie
- 51:35Speaker 2: the episode, we will have a tiber of the wild card,
- 51:42Speaker 2: so that may come into play. But now Stevie needs
- 51:45Speaker 2: to win this next game. Game three is worth three points.
- 51:48Speaker 2: We're gonna play it right after this.
- 51:58Speaker 3: Hey, if you're in the Western New York area and
- 52:01Speaker 3: you are a fan of the Green Head on over
- 52:03Speaker 3: to Peace, Love and Bud at three twenty self Transit
- 52:06Speaker 3: Road in Lockport, New York. Tell them bfytw sinta able
- 52:11Speaker 3: to hook you up.
- 52:22Speaker 2: Welcome back. It's time for game three. Game three is
- 52:26Speaker 2: gonna be an old favorite of mine. Just correlate. Oh cool,
- 52:30Speaker 2: heck you dude, I have got here with me six
- 52:36Speaker 2: hidden connection sets of clues. You're gonna choose them based
- 52:41Speaker 2: on keyboard keys control, all, delete, insert, home, and end.
- 52:45Speaker 2: Behind each one is a set of four clues. Each
- 52:48Speaker 2: of the clues has something in common. If you can
- 52:51Speaker 2: figure it out after one clue, you get five points,
- 52:55Speaker 2: but it's really hard to do that. After two clues
- 52:58Speaker 2: you get three points. After three clue as you get
- 53:00Speaker 2: two points, And if you need all four clues you
- 53:02Speaker 2: get one point. If you don't figure it out, your
- 53:05Speaker 2: opponent will get a chance to steal with all four
- 53:08Speaker 2: clues for one point. However, to steal you have to
- 53:11Speaker 2: get it exactly right. Whereas I will give you a
- 53:13Speaker 2: little wiggle room. If if it's your clue, it's your
- 53:18Speaker 2: to steal. You need to have it in the battle,
- 53:22Speaker 2: and after we do all six keys, the player will
- 53:26Speaker 2: the most most points wins the game and gets three
- 53:29Speaker 2: episode points. So Steve, you get this, you'll have a
- 53:31Speaker 2: chance to pull it out of the bag by winning
- 53:33Speaker 2: the the tiebreaker. But Augie, all he needs to do
- 53:38Speaker 2: is just stop you from winning this one. Okay, all right,
- 53:40Speaker 2: So Stevie, you're gonna get the first choice. Would you
- 53:43Speaker 2: like control all, delete, insert home, or end.
- 53:46Speaker 3: Let's go with alt.
- 53:47Speaker 2: Let's go with alt. Yeah, okay, I'm going to read
- 53:50Speaker 2: you the first clue and I'll tell you it's worth
- 53:52Speaker 2: five points, and once I am done reading it, you
- 53:57Speaker 2: will start the timer. So for Alt your first clue
- 54:01Speaker 2: for five points. Elton John's eyes.
- 54:07Speaker 3: Elton John's eyes.
- 54:10Speaker 2: To get another clue to say next next for three points,
- 54:15Speaker 2: Billy Joel's blonde over mat for two points, Madonna's True.
- 54:33Speaker 3: NOx for one.
- 54:35Speaker 2: Point, Elvis Presley's swayed shoes.
- 54:40Speaker 3: Buzz.
- 54:41Speaker 2: Okay, your own name is.
- 54:45Speaker 5: All right?
- 54:45Speaker 2: For one point? What is it?
- 54:47Speaker 3: Blue? They're all blue?
- 54:50Speaker 2: I mean, there's a little more to that. I'll give you.
- 54:53Speaker 2: I'll give it to you. You can tell what they are, right, blue?
- 55:00Speaker 3: Yeah? Not really? Well, not good of blue? But in color.
- 55:08Speaker 2: I want to give it to you so bad, don't.
- 55:12Speaker 2: I am going to give it to you because you
- 55:13Speaker 2: did find like the actual connection. But what I was
- 55:16Speaker 2: looking for was that these are songs with blue removed.
- 55:20Speaker 2: So you have Elton John's blue eyes, you have Billy
- 55:23Speaker 2: Joel's Blonde over Blue.
- 55:25Speaker 3: I was filling in the blank Madonna's True Blue.
- 55:28Speaker 2: And Elvis Presley's blue suede shoes.
- 55:30Speaker 3: That's fair, that's fair.
- 55:31Speaker 2: But you did get that it was blue. So I
- 55:33Speaker 2: am going to give you a point, but only because
- 55:35Speaker 2: it's only a point. Yeah, I could have been two
- 55:37Speaker 2: or three. I would probably be less blue. So Stevie
- 55:43Speaker 2: has the first point. Auguie, would you like control delete, end,
- 55:49Speaker 2: insert insert, Okay, here is your first clue for five points?
- 55:56Speaker 2: Control twenty nineteen, Neans for three points, Crisis two and
- 56:04Speaker 2: three twenty eleven, twenty thirteen, next for two points. All
- 56:11Speaker 2: Ghostbusters video games, Aggy Oggy buzzes in.
- 56:19Speaker 4: They're all third person video games.
- 56:23Speaker 2: I'm looking for something a bit more specific.
- 56:27Speaker 4: Let's say, Crisis can't be run on high graphics, high
- 56:32Speaker 4: def graphics.
- 56:33Speaker 3: No, it was two and three, you said, right.
- 56:36Speaker 4: Two and three. Yeah, I'm trying to.
- 56:40Speaker 3: Uh, they all had.
- 56:46Speaker 4: They all had ghosts in them.
- 56:48Speaker 2: No, I'm sorry, that's not right, Uh, Stevie, I'm gonna
- 56:51Speaker 2: give you a chance to steal.
- 56:52Speaker 3: Oh okay.
- 56:53Speaker 2: Here are all four Clues Control twenty nineteen, Crisis two
- 56:57Speaker 2: and three twenty eleven, twenty thirteen, all Ghostbusters video games,
- 57:03Speaker 2: and finally the Second True Crime Game two thousand and five.
- 57:11Speaker 3: I've got nothing. I've only heard of christ.
- 57:18Speaker 2: Everything else. They all.
- 57:21Speaker 3: They all use guns.
- 57:26Speaker 2: Technically that is true. Also, there's a lot more games
- 57:29Speaker 2: that would fit into that.
- 57:30Speaker 3: Yeah, so I really don't what I was going for.
- 57:34Speaker 2: I'm tempted to give it to you because I think
- 57:36Speaker 2: these but there has to have been a first person
- 57:39Speaker 2: like I'm pretty sure there's a first person mode in
- 57:41Speaker 2: Crisis two or three. We're both, so they're not dedicated
- 57:47Speaker 2: third person. What I was looking for is that these
- 57:50Speaker 2: are games that take place in New York City.
- 57:54Speaker 3: Prices two and three takes place in NewYork.
- 57:56Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like, I have no royd apocalyptic version of
- 58:01Speaker 2: New York City, but it is New York City all
- 58:03Speaker 2: the same. All Ghostbusters video games, all of them place
- 58:08Speaker 2: and the Second True Crime game deliberately left off the
- 58:11Speaker 2: subtitle because it would have told you New York City
- 58:17Speaker 2: controls the hardest one. It takes place entirely inside a building.
- 58:20Speaker 2: But that building is the Bureau, which is located at
- 58:23Speaker 2: I think like Manhattan, literally in New York City. So
- 58:27Speaker 2: no points for anybody there. We're going to go back
- 58:29Speaker 2: to Stevie to pick another key. Would you like control
- 58:32Speaker 2: delete home or.
- 58:33Speaker 3: End home Home?
- 58:35Speaker 2: All right, Stevie for five points?
- 58:39Speaker 3: Monterey Jack, the mouse er the Geese next, please.
- 58:45Speaker 2: For three points, Sydney Bristow either next, please for two points,
- 58:55Speaker 2: Phoenix right next for one point. Carmen San Diego, Jeeve,
- 59:16Speaker 2: I guess gave us in with just seconds to go?
- 59:19Speaker 3: Are these all shows that are on the same age
- 59:25Speaker 3: group of us?
- 59:29Speaker 2: That was a stress and half. I think that's very
- 59:32Speaker 2: very wrong. Oh he I'm gonna give you all four
- 59:35Speaker 2: clues one more time. You can steal for one point
- 59:38Speaker 2: Monterey Jack, Sydney Bristow, Phoenix right, Carmen San Diego.
- 59:47Speaker 4: Uh, they all have private investigators going after them and
- 59:52Speaker 4: them chased, all being chased by private investigators or detectives.
- 59:58Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, technically that might be yeah, yeah again,
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: I was going for something completely. You know what, I
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: don't think. I don't think you can say that about
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: Monterey Jack, Okay, yeah, that was the only one.
- 1:00:10Speaker 4: I was sure.
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: He is a private investment.
- 1:00:13Speaker 4: I know Phoenix, right for sure.
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: So Monterey, California, Sydney, Australia, Phoenix, Arizona, Mother, San Diego, California.
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: These are all fictional characters that are named after cities.
- 1:00:28Speaker 3: We are not good at this game.
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: Please come on, be a f w.
- 1:00:33Speaker 3: You could take my spot. That is a lawyer. I
- 1:00:36Speaker 3: thought it was the mouse from Rescue Rangers.
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: He was the mouse from Wreck two Rangers, exactly right.
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: He was the big mustache.
- 1:00:43Speaker 3: Yeah, and he spelled the cheese is mustache to go crazy.
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: You are exactly right. But he wasn't named Monterey, not
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: after the cheese, but after the city.
- 1:00:56Speaker 3: All right, which is named after the cheese.
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: Is still one to zero. It is anybody's game. You
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: may have controlled delete or an end for he's taking end. Okay,
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: reset it back to zero. No, I got three seconds.
- 1:01:13Speaker 3: I'll try to win this.
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: Your first clue for five points. Founders of Colgate University
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: for three points, Last supper participants for two points. Stripes
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: on the US flag okay, oggy buzzes in what do
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: you think it is?
- 1:01:45Speaker 4: They're all founders of their own organizations.
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: You definitely can't say that about stripes on the US flag.
- 1:01:52Speaker 3: Oh whatever, All.
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: Right, Stevie, you're gonna get all four clues. I think
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: you might already have those. All four clues, founders of
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: Colgate University, Last Supper participants, stripes on the US Flag,
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: items in a Baker's dozen.
- 1:02:09Speaker 3: Yeah, it's all of them, have thirteen of them.
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: Is exactly right. That's another point for Stevie.
- 1:02:14Speaker 3: I didn't have it till the flag.
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: Yes, yeah, the first one was obviously going to be
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: very hard. There were thirteen founders of Colgate University, Last
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: Supper participants, the twelve apostles in Jesus. There are thirteen
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: stripes in the US flag, and of course there are
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: thirteen items in a Baker's dozen.
- 1:02:30Speaker 3: So well doing eleven. This whole time, it was one
- 1:02:34Speaker 3: one way or the other.
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: All right, Stevie, your final choice, control or delete. Whichever
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: one you don't take, Augie will be stuck with control.
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: Please control, all right? In that case, Stevie, your first
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: clue for five points, Lyndon Ashby.
- 1:02:53Speaker 3: No pass for three points.
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: Joel McHale next for two points, Daniel Passina, Stevie, Stevie
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: buzz is in. What do you think this is?
- 1:03:16Speaker 3: Are these all people who are on SNL?
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: No, I'm fairly certain ever been on SNL. I wouldn't
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: be astounded if he was.
- 1:03:31Speaker 3: RelA.
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: Okay, I'm gonna give you all four clues. Lyndon Ashby,
- 1:03:37Speaker 2: Joel McHale, Daniel Passina, Carl Urban.
- 1:03:44Speaker 4: They're all people with names.
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: Again, that is correct, but I was, of course looking
- 1:03:50Speaker 2: for something more specific. Stevie, did you just figure.
- 1:03:52Speaker 3: Out I don't know. Are they all anti heroes? No?
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean I guess technically maybe they could be.
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: This is what it helped if I told you this
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: is related to Mortal Kombat.
- 1:04:04Speaker 3: No, oh, they're all new motherfucker. They're all the new
- 1:04:08Speaker 3: one from the New Oral. No, that's wrong too, No,
- 1:04:10Speaker 3: it is.
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: These are all actors. These are exactly right. These are
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: all actors who have played Johnny.
- 1:04:18Speaker 3: Oh yeah, not the new one, but yeah.
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: Lynna Nashby was Johnny Cage in the nineteen ninety five.
- 1:04:22Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: Joel McHale played him in three animated movies. He voiced him.
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: Daniel Pascina played him in the original game and the
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: second one.
- 1:04:30Speaker 3: I think, fuck, you're right.
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know if you was in the second
- 1:04:33Speaker 2: one or not. He was in the first one for sure. Yeah,
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: and Carl Urban played him in the recent Ortal Kombat Too.
- 1:04:39Speaker 3: Which is fucking phenomenal. Go see that movie.
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, damn ah you This last one is yours.
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: You need to at least tie to keep Stevie from
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: taking the from taking this game, which means you need
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: to buzz in with at least three clues. You need
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: two points. Stevie is at two point to zero. If
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: you get two points, you tie, and you both get
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: three episode points and you still win. So if you
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: go for the fourth clue, you're just gonna automatically lose.
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: I'm just gonna tell you that right now. All right,
- 1:05:13Speaker 2: you you're left with delete your first clue for five points.
- 1:05:17Speaker 4: Septic Oggy Oggy buzzes in on the very first clue,
- 1:05:26Speaker 4: things that smell like shit.
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: I'm afraid I cannot give you that. So just for funzie, Stevie,
- 1:05:34Speaker 2: even though you've already won the game, the four clues
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: are septic, queer, ass, banana.
- 1:05:41Speaker 3: Iron, all things have potassium.
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: Iron does not have potassium. This one is for fans
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: in B F Y t W and particular Bfeopardy. If
- 1:05:55Speaker 2: you've listened to the bfepardy with Sarah and Maddie on it,
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: you will recognize those words. These are all words made
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: from chemical symbols. You can make all of these words
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: from chemical symbols. And they were, in fact four of
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: the words that we used in that B field. I
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: got them all to Maddie got almost all. Maddy destroyed
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: that category. Well, as it happens, we have ended this
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: game with two points in Stevie's corner. No points in
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: August means Stevie wins, just correlate and gets three episode points,
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: which means it is three to three. It is a tie,
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: which means we are indeed going to the dumpster fire
- 1:06:31Speaker 2: for a wild card can be anything that you want
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: to throw into a dumpster fire. The only rules are
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: it can't be something we've previously used on a dumpster fire.
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: So if I know it's a repetition of something, I
- 1:06:42Speaker 2: will not pay any attention to it. That's about it.
- 1:06:46Speaker 2: So think about it. Because Augie was in the lead first,
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: he gets to decide if he wants to go first,
- 1:06:52Speaker 2: or make you go first. Okay, because it's a wild card,
- 1:07:01Speaker 2: you are going to get a little bit of extra time.
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: You get forty five seconds. Oh man, and your time
- 1:07:11Speaker 2: starts now.
- 1:07:14Speaker 3: I'm gonna have to say I have Oh no, that's
- 1:07:20Speaker 3: actually a good thing. I don't know that.
- 1:07:26Speaker 2: She's about the dumpster fire.
- 1:07:27Speaker 3: Good thing, oh, Joshi, all this motivation to do the
- 1:07:35Speaker 3: things I really need to get done. The unmotivated, or
- 1:07:40Speaker 3: you know, the lack of motivation because everybody has something
- 1:07:44Speaker 3: that needs to get done and they always put it off,
- 1:07:46Speaker 3: even it's something like kind of minuscule, but it just
- 1:07:48Speaker 3: takes forever. You just I don't feel like doing it.
- 1:07:50Speaker 3: I just don't feel like doing it.
- 1:07:52Speaker 2: Yeah, so that is hard.
- 1:07:54Speaker 3: I want that to go away. I want to be
- 1:07:56Speaker 3: motivated again to get everything done. Check all those little marks.
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: That's fair, all right, Agi, you have forty five seconds
- 1:08:04Speaker 2: to beat that. What would you throw into a dumpster
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: fire can be anything forty five seconds and go.
- 1:08:09Speaker 4: I would like to throw the rollback of environmental protections
- 1:08:13Speaker 4: into the dumpster fire.
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: Oh yes, it was not so long ago that.
- 1:08:20Speaker 4: Let them do it, not so long ago that our
- 1:08:22Speaker 4: very own American bald eagle was on the endangered species list.
- 1:08:26Speaker 4: Do the efforts of environmental protections through funding, through conservation efforts,
- 1:08:33Speaker 4: it was brought back and is now safely outside the
- 1:08:36Speaker 4: endangered species list. By rolling back any protections, we are
- 1:08:41Speaker 4: just undoing all of that hard work. We are seeing
- 1:08:45Speaker 4: the creatures and the plants and the life that we
- 1:08:48Speaker 4: see every day that we love, that we enjoy, get
- 1:08:51Speaker 4: slowly destroyed. It is impossible to to say it's so
- 1:09:00Speaker 4: important that we protect this planet we live on. It
- 1:09:03Speaker 4: is the only one we're going to be living on
- 1:09:05Speaker 4: for a long time, and destroying it now isn't going
- 1:09:09Speaker 4: to increase our odds of finding anywhere else to live.
- 1:09:13Speaker 4: It's going to be another one hundred years before we
- 1:09:16Speaker 4: can live on the moon. Don't think that's going to
- 1:09:18Speaker 4: happen this year. Don't think it's going to happen in
- 1:09:20Speaker 4: the next ten. We need to protect what we have now,
- 1:09:23Speaker 4: and it is vitally important that we protect.
- 1:09:27Speaker 3: What we have now.
- 1:09:30Speaker 2: Sorry for not letting you cook. I was just trying
- 1:09:33Speaker 2: to make the point that you had already won. You
- 1:09:36Speaker 2: have already won. Congratulations Agie. Here when you get another
- 1:09:39Speaker 2: episode point it is four to three. You've won this episode. Congratulations,
- 1:09:43Speaker 2: you're absolutely one thousand percent right. Amidst the many many
- 1:09:50Speaker 2: things that pissed me off about world leadership today, that
- 1:09:53Speaker 2: is probably the highest on the list. And yeah, I
- 1:09:58Speaker 2: mean it's it's so important because exactly exact much. I
- 1:10:07Speaker 2: have friends who have recently become parents who genuinely, genuinely
- 1:10:13Speaker 2: had to think long and hard about whether they wanted
- 1:10:15Speaker 2: to go through it, because the idea of bringing a
- 1:10:19Speaker 2: child into a world that is dying, pretty is dying,
- 1:10:24Speaker 2: is a problem. It's a massive problem and something they
- 1:10:28Speaker 2: were really concerned about, so they almost didn't do it.
- 1:10:31Speaker 3: It shows how they are.
- 1:10:33Speaker 2: They did decide to have the child anyway, and you know,
- 1:10:37Speaker 2: he's tappy and healthy and all that good stuff, but
- 1:10:40Speaker 2: I do I am concerned about what kind of world
- 1:10:42Speaker 2: he's going to grow up into.
- 1:10:43Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:10:44Speaker 4: Yeah, the Lorex will never come back.
- 1:10:46Speaker 2: Yeah no, the Lorex is not coming back. And don't
- 1:10:51Speaker 2: let AI remake it. For the love of God. All right, Well,
- 1:10:56Speaker 2: congratulations z Agie, Well done. Applause audience chair, Yeah, thanks
