- 0:00SPEAKER_02: What does God mean to you?
- 0:01SPEAKER_02: So when I think of the universe, it doesn't really work for me because I'm thinking of the cosmos.
- 0:06SPEAKER_02: I'm thinking of stars.
- 0:07SPEAKER_02: I'm thinking of more of like matter, the quantum field.
- 0:10SPEAKER_02: And when I think of source, I'm thinking of like maybe that's closer.
- 0:13SPEAKER_02: God to me is like the intelligence, the consciousness that holds all of us, like the eternal awareness, the now, the collective experience that we're all having as individuals in our human bodies and in all living things.
- 0:28SPEAKER_00: Welcome to Reclaiming Consciousness.
- 0:30SPEAKER_00: My name is Elise Bassine, spiritual mentor, breathwork practitioner, and owner and CEO of Elise Breeds.
- 0:37SPEAKER_00: For many years, our consciousness has been hijacked by societal and cultural programming, religion, the media, and familial and ancestral trauma.
- 0:46SPEAKER_00: Right now, during this epic time in history, people are waking up, realizing who they really are, and reclaiming the pieces of their consciousness that they unknowingly gave away.
- 0:58SPEAKER_00: This podcast is an exploration of how so many spectacular humans are leading the way in exiting the matrix and reclaiming who they really are and what they're capable of.
- 1:09SPEAKER_00: In this show, you'll meet exceptional people who are paving the way in raising consciousness and creating a new way of living on this earth.
- 1:17SPEAKER_00: Get ready to go deep.
- 1:19SPEAKER_00: Now let's dive in.
- 1:25SPEAKER_00: Hi everyone, welcome back to the show.
- 1:28SPEAKER_00: So this week's guest is really awesome.
- 1:31SPEAKER_00: I was actually on her podcast.
- 1:33SPEAKER_00: Her name is Helen Denham, and her podcast is called the Lifted Podcast.
- 1:38SPEAKER_00: And she is a coach and a healer.
- 1:41SPEAKER_00: We just have a really awesome, inspiring conversation, and I know you guys are gonna love it.
- 1:47SPEAKER_00: So, some announcements for you, which I'm really excited about.
- 1:52SPEAKER_00: So, right now, my mastermind, Accelerated Wealth, is now in early bird pricing.
- 1:58SPEAKER_00: I just extended it until September 15th.
- 2:01SPEAKER_00: We start in early October.
- 2:04SPEAKER_00: And this program is unlike anything else I've ever taught, and also unlike anything else that's really out there, because my zone of genius and what I've come to really realize over the last couple of years is really being able to pinpoint and see the blocks to growth.
- 2:21SPEAKER_00: And this one is specifically around growing your business and your income, which I've come to see is my zone of genius with all of my clients who I've helped expand their businesses and their incomes and also just easily magnetize clients towards them because we pinpoint the wounding or trauma or blocks from childhood that are kind of living in the subconscious that you might not be aware of, that I will help you acknowledge and move through so that the growth just happens.
- 2:53SPEAKER_00: It's not even anything you have to try.
- 2:55SPEAKER_00: And that's what this mastermind is all about.
- 2:58SPEAKER_00: And that coupled with the frequency activations that I'm going to be doing, that I channel straight from my galactic guides, which raise your frequency and bring you into this new paradigm of wealth where you're able to interact with reality in a completely different way from the perspective of abundance and this like higher awareness that is outside of the programming that we were born into.
- 3:27SPEAKER_00: So this program is an incredibly powerful activation and also a healing so that you can have the impact and your business can have the impact that you know you are meant to have.
- 3:41SPEAKER_00: So this is going to be something that it will be a game changer for you in your business, especially if you have come up against a growth ceiling or you're not sure why you can't get past a certain income level.
- 3:54SPEAKER_00: This is for you.
- 3:55SPEAKER_00: So reach out to me if you'd like more info or we'll link it below.
- 4:00SPEAKER_00: You can find it on my website, but definitely reach out to me to see if this is a fit for you.
- 4:05SPEAKER_00: Also, I have a few spaces open in the Quantum Accelerator, which is my kind of entry-level program.
- 4:13SPEAKER_00: If you're interested in my work and you're interested in learning how to work with your own energy, how to manifest, how to connect with your guides, how to really tune in and listen to your intuition and infuse that in all areas of your life.
- 4:29SPEAKER_00: This program is for you.
- 4:31SPEAKER_00: So you can find out more information about that on my website under the Quantum Accelerator.
- 4:36SPEAKER_00: But this program is amazing.
- 4:38SPEAKER_00: It was one of my first programs, it was the second one I did after the metamorphosis.
- 4:42SPEAKER_00: And this is really just about learning how to work with energy.
- 4:46SPEAKER_00: Like this is the stuff that they should have taught us in school, right?
- 4:49SPEAKER_00: Like this is my school counselor background coming out.
- 4:52SPEAKER_00: Like we should have learned how to work with our emotions and how to work with energy because it makes life so much easier.
- 5:00SPEAKER_00: And we should have learned how to connect with spirit, how to work with your guides, how to tune into the energy of the universe and work with it to create what you want in your life.
- 5:09SPEAKER_00: So that's what this program is about.
- 5:11SPEAKER_00: I have a few spaces open right now.
- 5:14SPEAKER_00: The price will be going up in October.
- 5:16SPEAKER_00: So now's the time to jump in.
- 5:18SPEAKER_00: So definitely reach out to me about that.
- 5:20SPEAKER_00: You can email me, info at elisebreeds.com or DM me on Instagram at elise underscore breathes.
- 5:26SPEAKER_00: With that being said, without further ado, enjoy the episode.
- 5:33SPEAKER_01: Hi everyone, welcome back to the show.
- 5:35SPEAKER_01: So I am super excited for today's guest.
- 5:38SPEAKER_01: Today we have Helen Denham with us, who is a mindset mentor, meditation teacher, and singer songwriter.
- 5:46SPEAKER_01: She is a certified behavior change specialist, QHT facilitator.
- 5:51SPEAKER_01: Ooh, I love that.
- 5:52SPEAKER_01: We're gonna have to talk about that.
- 5:53SPEAKER_01: And Reiki reprogramming and many more things, but I'm sure we'll get to it during the show.
- 5:59SPEAKER_01: Welcome, Helen.
- 6:01SPEAKER_02: Thank you so much.
- 6:02SPEAKER_02: You nailed that intro.
- 6:03SPEAKER_02: Sometimes it's a mouthful.
- 6:06SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 6:07SPEAKER_01: I try my best.
- 6:08SPEAKER_01: So welcome.
- 6:09SPEAKER_01: I'm so excited to have you here.
- 6:11SPEAKER_01: And I'd love to just dive right in.
- 6:13SPEAKER_01: So, you know, without having to tell me like your whole entire life story, maybe just like pinpointing some pivotal times for you that kind of propelled you into where you are now.
- 6:25SPEAKER_01: Sure.
- 6:26SPEAKER_01: Thank you for having me.
- 6:27SPEAKER_02: Well, I guess I'd like to start at the beginning when, you know, I was a kid and I was put on antidepressants at a very young age, like eight years old, literally like eight years old.
- 6:36SPEAKER_02: So I'm still kind of trying to navigate like what my soul's blueprint or journey was like that I ended up with pretty severe depression as such a young kid.
- 6:45SPEAKER_02: And um, my parents were just awesome.
- 6:48SPEAKER_02: They were just doing the best they could with what they knew.
- 6:50SPEAKER_02: And, you know, they had this really um depressed child on their hands.
- 6:53SPEAKER_02: So, and it was, you know, before we were really entering this more expansive conversation in the wellness world about what it means to heal and everything.
- 7:00SPEAKER_02: So it had also been a conversation that like all the women in my mom's side of the family had depression.
- 7:05SPEAKER_02: So it was this kind of like pre-programmed thing that like I was gonna grow up with depression.
- 7:10SPEAKER_02: One thing leads to the next.
- 7:11SPEAKER_02: Around 16 years old, as I'm halfway through high school, my mom and I both decided to quit cold turkey and get off antidepressants and completely just stop.
- 7:18SPEAKER_02: She had always been interested in like yoga, meditation, everything, but it was a really big shift for us to kind of reclaim our independence in many ways and really navigate a future and what that looked like without pharmaceuticals.
- 7:31SPEAKER_02: Um, because from my memory, it had been very numbing.
- 7:34SPEAKER_02: I have a lot of like blank spots in my memory of what my younger years were like.
- 7:38SPEAKER_02: So it ended up being this purging because all of the things that had been suppressed by the medication had to come up to really be honored and revealed and purged and moved through.
- 7:47SPEAKER_02: So it kind of ended up being the next five years working through disordered eating and working through depression and self-consciousness and all these things.
- 7:55SPEAKER_02: But when I got to like halfway through college where I went to study music and theater, I met an awesome group of people that introduced me first to plant medicine, honestly, which really changed my life.
- 8:06SPEAKER_02: Mushrooms.
- 8:07SPEAKER_02: Like that plant medicine completely grounded my energy and gave me a whole new opening into the quote unquote reality that we're really living in and how connected we all really are.
- 8:17SPEAKER_02: And that really opened the floodgates to my curiosity of like, okay, I realized I was a lot more in control of my life and my progress forward than I had ever given myself credit for or anybody credit for.
- 8:29SPEAKER_02: So I started researching all these beautiful teachers, like the basics that I think a lot of us are familiar with, like Eckhart Toll and Michael Singer, uh even Teal Swan, who's got an interesting documentary out now.
- 8:40SPEAKER_02: Brad Yates, I started to do EFT tapping with, and um, it just got so exciting.
- 8:45SPEAKER_02: I was like, oh my God, I'm just like reclaiming my life.
- 8:48SPEAKER_02: So at that time when I was leaving college, I was heavily pursuing music.
- 8:51SPEAKER_02: I got scouted to model for a moment, and that was another initiation because it was very much an industry focused on my appearance and looks and hounding that.
- 9:00SPEAKER_02: And I was probably 20 pounds lighter than I am now, and it was like, it was never thin enough.
- 9:05SPEAKER_02: So it was like this whole thing about what it means to be a woman and being valued on um appearance, and finally reached a point where I was like, I am literally torturing myself.
- 9:13SPEAKER_02: It's not coming easily to me.
- 9:15SPEAKER_02: This doesn't feel in alignment.
- 9:16SPEAKER_02: I'm watching other people in my industry struggle, and some people also like it was a natural fit for them.
- 9:21SPEAKER_02: But I had to get really honest with myself and be like, at what point are you gonna just like call it quits?
- 9:26SPEAKER_02: And my family had had um a little bit of an intervention with me, I guess, to be like, you're not taking care of yourself.
- 9:32SPEAKER_02: You know, we can tell we love you and we can tell that you're sick.
- 9:35SPEAKER_02: Like, how can we help you?
- 9:36SPEAKER_02: It's like it is okay for you to stop.
- 9:38SPEAKER_02: So that was definitely the modeling thing.
- 9:40SPEAKER_02: And and I just was like, all right, if I want to take photos, I'll take it myself, you know, I'll just do whatever I want.
- 9:44SPEAKER_02: So it was definitely a reclaiming of that and like shedding an identity layer.
- 9:49SPEAKER_02: After that, moved into my first very intense like romance that was, you know, one of those life-changing romances.
- 9:55SPEAKER_02: We broke up and I was like, okay, so what am I gonna do now?
- 9:58SPEAKER_02: I I need to refigure my whole life.
- 10:00SPEAKER_02: Like, who am I?
- 10:01SPEAKER_02: Went to Thailand, spent like a month and a half in Chiang Mai and Pai, spent a lot of time in monasteries there and exploring the Thai culture, which was just so beautiful and so eye-opening.
- 10:12SPEAKER_02: And it really gave me the itch to do a lot of solo travel and kind of do the self-exploration through travel.
- 10:18SPEAKER_02: And I came back to New York City, where I had been living for like eight years, and it was such dense energy.
- 10:23SPEAKER_02: And I said, you know, something needs to change.
- 10:25SPEAKER_02: So I came back and completely dedicated myself to meditation, facilitating meditation, learning as much as I could.
- 10:32SPEAKER_02: And then one thing led to another, the pandemic hit, and I got out of another beautiful, serious relationship at that point, right when we went into quarantine.
- 10:40SPEAKER_02: And I was like, I think this is my time to leave New York, at least for a period of time.
- 10:45SPEAKER_02: So I took a solo road trip for two months, just camp to all the national parks to get out to Tapanga, where I am now, which was I very specifically wanted to come here because I'd been taking Lacey Phillips' program, the pathway, which is all about, you know, neural manifestation and shadow work.
- 11:01SPEAKER_02: And so she, I had noticed that she was living in this like beautiful green area in LA.
- 11:06SPEAKER_02: And I was like, I would like to visit that place.
- 11:08SPEAKER_02: You know, it just I was planned on being here for a week, but I showed up and I just literally didn't leave.
- 11:12SPEAKER_02: And I'm about to hit two years into Panga.
- 11:15SPEAKER_02: So I'm really settling in here.
- 11:17SPEAKER_02: It feels really good.
- 11:18SPEAKER_02: And now I'm fully have shifted into teaching meditation, women's empowerment work, mindset mentoring people, and every day just learning how to be more of service and unravel myself bit by bit.
- 11:32SPEAKER_02: So that's the the long short of it.
- 11:35SPEAKER_01: Wow.
- 11:36SPEAKER_01: It's so funny.
- 11:37SPEAKER_01: I love Tipanga.
- 11:38SPEAKER_01: I actually had a friend who lived there years and years ago.
- 11:41SPEAKER_01: Like I was when I was in my early 20s.
- 11:44SPEAKER_01: Every time I went there, I was like, holy shit, this place is fucking unreal.
- 11:48SPEAKER_01: Like it's so beautiful.
- 11:51SPEAKER_01: It's so wonderful.
- 11:53SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 11:54SPEAKER_01: And I have done Lacey Phillips' work actually too.
- 11:57SPEAKER_01: So I know she talks about that.
- 11:59SPEAKER_01: And her work, it definitely helped me for sure, in like different ways than I even think it was supposed to.
- 12:06SPEAKER_01: I think that seeing her work kind of sparked something in in me where I was like, oh, I can do something like what she's doing.
- 12:14SPEAKER_01: It was like the first time when I saw somebody and kind of had that realization that I could have my own thing like that.
- 12:22SPEAKER_01: So her work was like incredibly helpful for me just in that sense alone.
- 12:26SPEAKER_01: So yeah, I can totally relate to so much of that.
- 12:30SPEAKER_01: So then what does your work look like now?
- 12:32SPEAKER_01: So you teach meditation.
- 12:33SPEAKER_01: Do you see like private clients or do you teach groups?
- 12:36SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I do all of the above.
- 12:37SPEAKER_02: So I teach um meditation like with Unplug and the Den and Studios in LA a few times a week.
- 12:43SPEAKER_02: I just love that.
- 12:44SPEAKER_02: It's a beautiful space to hold a container for a large group of people.
- 12:48SPEAKER_02: And I think there's something really important about, of course, being in community together and all just sharing what we're going through and what we're unraveling together.
- 12:55SPEAKER_02: So I really love to be holding space in classes for people.
- 12:59SPEAKER_02: And then I do one-on-one mentorships.
- 13:01SPEAKER_02: So I do right now a seven-week series with people.
- 13:04SPEAKER_02: So we're doing a deep dive into the shadow work.
- 13:06SPEAKER_02: It has a lot to do with, you know, rewiring belief systems and building new habits and really taking an objective, honest look about why our lives look the way that we do.
- 13:14SPEAKER_02: And then, you know, creating a new paradigm in that container.
- 13:18SPEAKER_02: So that's uh that's the mentorship series.
- 13:20SPEAKER_02: And that's awesome.
- 13:21SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 13:22SPEAKER_01: That's really like what else is there to do?
- 13:26SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 13:29SPEAKER_01: Like, there's not nothing else really worth doing other than rewiring your belief system, right?
- 13:35SPEAKER_02: I know.
- 13:35SPEAKER_02: And this is why, like, while I am the mentor, I always have teachers also for me.
- 13:40SPEAKER_02: So I'm always enrolled in my own mentorships to keep learning and to keep, you know, trickling that down into everything.
- 13:46SPEAKER_02: So I'm so with you.
- 13:47SPEAKER_02: That's all I want to be doing.
- 13:48SPEAKER_02: It feels good.
- 13:49SPEAKER_01: There's nothing else worth doing because everything kind of goes from there.
- 13:53SPEAKER_01: You know, I was just talking to somebody else on the podcast earlier about manifestation.
- 13:58SPEAKER_01: And that's like, well, really, there's no other way to actually manifest anything other than doing like this deep inner work.
- 14:06SPEAKER_01: So we might as well just continue to focus on doing this deep inner work if you really want to manifest anything.
- 14:13SPEAKER_02: 100%.
- 14:14SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 14:14SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 14:15SPEAKER_02: And it's so interesting to be kind of an explorer in that way.
- 14:18SPEAKER_02: And I feel like that's the shift to make that's that can make it really fun is to just get curious and look at yourself like, you know, a space to explore and get excited when new things come up that can be, you know, moved through and shifted.
- 14:31SPEAKER_02: And I'm so with you there that that's where the manifestation happens.
- 14:34SPEAKER_02: It's from our deepest belief systems and what we hold true.
- 14:37SPEAKER_01: Yeah, totally.
- 14:38SPEAKER_01: So I kind of want to go back because it was so interesting what you said about getting off of depression medication when you were so young.
- 14:46SPEAKER_01: And I like to like dive into that a little bit further, if you don't mind.
- 14:49SPEAKER_01: So I feel like that's such a powerful thing.
- 14:52SPEAKER_01: I've had so many clients that have said, like, oh, I want to get off this medication.
- 14:56SPEAKER_01: And I have had clients that have gotten off medication.
- 14:59SPEAKER_01: So, like, what was that like for you?
- 15:01SPEAKER_01: And I would imagine you had to kind of dismantle and disentangle yourself from the system.
- 15:07SPEAKER_01: So, what was that like?
- 15:09SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's so interesting because I was so young.
- 15:12SPEAKER_02: It's like some of it is difficult to remember, and I almost feel like I was a different person looking back on it and seeing how everything, like everything moved and shifted.
- 15:21SPEAKER_02: It really helps to have a support system and somebody that that's why my mom was so important for that time, because we were doing it together.
- 15:27SPEAKER_02: So it was like, okay, I'm not alone in this.
- 15:29SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna be going through something into unknown territory, and she'll be with me.
- 15:32SPEAKER_02: But even if that's like a therapist or a mentor or like a family member or a friend that you know you really trust and that can hold that space for you as you move through it.
- 15:40SPEAKER_02: I think that was like really paramount.
- 15:42SPEAKER_02: And then throwing myself into art, I think that's why I was so drawn to music, was because that became my catharsis and that writing and poetry and putting making my sadness into an art form.
- 15:53SPEAKER_02: And that's actually what I do with a lot of clients now is a lot of people are afraid to feel their feelings.
- 15:58SPEAKER_02: I notice, you know, it's very uncomfortable.
- 16:00SPEAKER_02: Like I don't want to cry, or they've been taught that feeling their emotions is bad or shameful.
- 16:05SPEAKER_02: So a lot of what we do is turn that into art, whether it's through writing or painting or collage.
- 16:11SPEAKER_02: So that my healing process was hugely related to music and like pouring it into that so it didn't get bottled up because I think we know that now that disease manifests in the body related to the emotions that we pin in and hold in.
- 16:25SPEAKER_02: And um, that was huge.
- 16:27SPEAKER_02: I guess I learned this over time to just be very patient with myself and keep looking forward.
- 16:31SPEAKER_02: And optimism is a huge part of that, like knowing that even if it's not necessarily easy in the moment, the forward motion is happening and it's gonna be okay, and holding that, holding that idea of where you want to be.
- 16:43SPEAKER_02: And there's so much that goes into that, and that has a lot to do with confidence building.
- 16:47SPEAKER_02: But setting goals for myself that felt really good and then attaining those and being like, I can do this, and just continuing to show up for myself and show myself what was possible was a huge part of that.
- 16:57SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 16:57SPEAKER_01: Oh my gosh, totally.
- 16:58SPEAKER_01: And I'm sure it was like a whole different element, like having your mom go through that with it.
- 17:04SPEAKER_01: Was it like your mom got to a point that she wanted to make that shift in her life?
- 17:08SPEAKER_01: Like, I'm curious to know how she came to that realization because it's a big thing to undertake.
- 17:14SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah.
- 17:15SPEAKER_02: I'm so grateful she lets me talk about this.
- 17:17SPEAKER_02: And I think uh people have heard this on my show too.
- 17:19SPEAKER_02: She went through a very real awakening, like a visceral awakening.
- 17:23SPEAKER_02: Like she had a whole moment where she was literally channeling spirit and had a huge moment that led to it, it was so expansive and huge for our family.
- 17:32SPEAKER_02: I witnessed it when I was like 14 years old.
- 17:34SPEAKER_02: I sat with her in the backyard as she had one of the most intense experiences I've ever seen.
- 17:40SPEAKER_02: And I don't know how deep, you know, to go into that, but it was hugely transformational.
- 17:44SPEAKER_02: It led to my parents getting divorced and my mom beginning an entirely new life.
- 17:48SPEAKER_02: So, and I was the only one that really saw that firsthand.
- 17:51SPEAKER_02: So it was like hard for anybody else in our family or circle to really understand because nobody had seen what had happened.
- 17:58SPEAKER_02: You know, it was very easy to be like, you know, she's bipolar or like label her as all these things.
- 18:03SPEAKER_02: And it was just like I watched this unfold and I was like, something happened here, and I don't really know how to explain it.
- 18:09SPEAKER_02: And I was so young, but we had each other at that point, and I saw what was possible for her.
- 18:15SPEAKER_02: And yeah, it was a huge discussion about what's the right thing to do.
- 18:19SPEAKER_02: Do we put her on medication?
- 18:20SPEAKER_02: Do we not?
- 18:20SPEAKER_02: It's a still a very touchy subject in our family, you know, and I completely understand everybody's side of it because at the end of the day, everyone was doing the best they could with what they knew and what would be most healing for everybody.
- 18:32SPEAKER_02: And to my mom and I, it looked like, all right, we want to feel alive, whatever that looks like.
- 18:38SPEAKER_02: And even if it looks weird to the rest of the world, we're gonna feel it.
- 18:41SPEAKER_02: So huge part of my journey has been overcoming that mother wound or that feeling that my family is gonna ostracize me or like reject me because of my spiritual movement forward, feeling like I'm gonna become my mother in the scary ways, which I think a lot of us can relate to.
- 18:56SPEAKER_02: But and I say that and I only talk about that because I love my family so deeply.
- 19:00SPEAKER_02: Like they're everything to me.
- 19:01SPEAKER_02: So there's nothing I wouldn't do for them.
- 19:03SPEAKER_02: And I love them so much.
- 19:04SPEAKER_02: And I know that they love me as well, but that's just still like we all go through these journeys of initiation into being brave enough to be our unique selves.
- 19:13SPEAKER_02: So that's still, I still work through that to this day of like expanding my comfort zone and feeling safe and being accepted by everybody because that was such a huge moment for our family.
- 19:22SPEAKER_01: Oh my gosh, I'm so glad you brought this up because I feel like this is something that like everyone can relate to or everyone goes through on some level, right?
- 19:30SPEAKER_01: It might not be the exact thing that you're explaining, but the mother wound is like it's a huge thing that I work with with people, and people will hear they hear me talk about it all the time.
- 19:41SPEAKER_01: Um, I actually make jokes about it because I talk about it so much.
- 19:45unknown: Yeah.
- 19:46SPEAKER_01: Um, but and like this, you know, I think what comes up for almost everyone around like expanding yourself spiritually and feeling ostracized or feeling like you are like going kind of outside of the realm of like what is safe for your family or what's been done in the past.
- 20:06SPEAKER_01: And that's just like something you have to face if you're really gonna step forward and honor what you know you're meant to be doing.
- 20:13SPEAKER_01: So I think it's like this constant thing that we all come up against.
- 20:17SPEAKER_01: So yeah, I'm glad that you brought that up.
- 20:20SPEAKER_01: I think it's so important.
- 20:21SPEAKER_02: Totally.
- 20:22SPEAKER_02: It's like a microcosm of the macrocosm as well, because it's reflective of the entire shift that we're seeing on a global level of forward thinkers questioning all these paradigms and all these systems that we've held true, you know, age of Aquarius vibe, like the takedown of corrupt government or pharmaceuticals or, you know, technology and like breaking through that glass ceiling in that way to say, no, we were far beyond this and we're gonna move forward.
- 20:47SPEAKER_02: And that questioning is shaking up our entire society.
- 20:51SPEAKER_02: And it's very easy to make people out to be crazy because they're pushing up against systems that have existed for like hundreds of years.
- 20:58SPEAKER_02: You have to be brave to kind of move forward in that way and talk openly about it.
- 21:02SPEAKER_02: And I know I mentioned Teal Swan earlier, if anybody's seen this documentary, it's very interesting just to see how spiritual teachers are regarded in big media as, you know, either cult leaders or these things.
- 21:12SPEAKER_02: And there's truth to everything, you know, and everybody's got shadow to work through.
- 21:16SPEAKER_02: But it's just interesting, you know, how that tends to come about when people are uncomfortable with a new paradigm coming in.
- 21:22SPEAKER_01: Oh my God, 100%.
- 21:23SPEAKER_01: And it's interesting too, because like you said, yes, there are spiritual teachers who have that culty vibe, right?
- 21:32SPEAKER_01: But there's also not, you know, it's nuanced.
- 21:36SPEAKER_01: And I think what the media likes to do is like take something and like bring it to an extreme for their own agenda and to scare people or get people to look at things a certain way, right?
- 21:48SPEAKER_01: Or to like go along with this narrative.
- 21:51SPEAKER_01: They kind of love to put everyone in boxes, like this is what this is.
- 21:56SPEAKER_01: But yeah, it kind of takes something and like like makes it into a character.
- 22:00SPEAKER_01: Of itself.
- 22:01SPEAKER_01: Totally.
- 22:03SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
- 22:03SPEAKER_01: And I haven't seen that documentary, but now I want to, now that you're talking about it.
- 22:08SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's a series.
- 22:09SPEAKER_02: It's called Deep Dive on Hulu.
- 22:11SPEAKER_02: It's very interesting because it gets you to question your own belief systems as well.
- 22:14SPEAKER_02: And there's so much truth to all sides of it.
- 22:17SPEAKER_02: And I think what I'm really picking up from watching this and just like studying teachers too is just like really honoring the idea of teaching what you know and trusting teachers that are teaching from experience.
- 22:29SPEAKER_02: And then also leading with kindness and compassion always.
- 22:32SPEAKER_02: Like that's the one thing I noticed about, I mean, I'll just use TL as an example.
- 22:36SPEAKER_02: Her experience is like she's so knowledgeable about trauma and moving people through trauma.
- 22:41SPEAKER_02: But she has a very no bullshit like response to working with people.
- 22:45SPEAKER_02: She's like bad cop.
- 22:46SPEAKER_02: She's like, she'll push you and she'll make you very uncomfortable.
- 22:49SPEAKER_02: And I think if it were me, and there's no right or wrong at all.
- 22:52SPEAKER_02: I would just lean more into the kindness and compassion of it and be a little more gentle with people.
- 22:57SPEAKER_02: So that was my only thing.
- 22:58SPEAKER_02: But like again, there's just no black and white here.
- 23:01SPEAKER_02: But I think that's why it's more easy to put her into like a cult category or people that are a little harsher with their teachings.
- 23:06SPEAKER_01: But yeah, no, I mean, I definitely, I have to say, like when I first saw her, and I haven't really watched much of her stuff at all.
- 23:13SPEAKER_01: But when I first saw her, I definitely got the culty vibe.
- 23:17SPEAKER_01: Not even really in a judgmental way.
- 23:19SPEAKER_01: I was just kind of like, oh yeah, she seems like a culty person.
- 23:24SPEAKER_02: Yeah, no, there definitely is part of that.
- 23:27SPEAKER_02: I definitely am having moments where like, okay.
- 23:29SPEAKER_02: But I mean, you take it with a you you can either subscribe to it or not and just take what you want from her teachings.
- 23:34SPEAKER_02: But like, I just appreciate teachers who are straight up and very honest and not afraid of like going up against something or just really calling you out on your belief systems.
- 23:44SPEAKER_02: My only thing is like, can we do that with compassion?
- 23:46SPEAKER_02: Can we move people through in the heart space and not like pound it into them?
- 23:49SPEAKER_02: Because that doesn't seem to work.
- 23:51SPEAKER_01: No, definitely not.
- 23:52SPEAKER_01: I feel like you have to have, you know, because that's something that I feel like I've always struggled with is like being too nice.
- 23:58SPEAKER_01: And I've kind of had to do like the opposite, where, you know, because I have like so much people pleasing, or that was like my old way is people pleasing, it will be hard for me to say something even when I knew it was true and I knew they needed to hear it, but I was like, eh, you know, and like I had to kind of come from the opposite.
- 24:16SPEAKER_01: So I think you have to have that perfect balance of like just being able to be a straight shooter, but also coming from a place of compassion, like you said, because or else people are not gonna be able to hear it.
- 24:28SPEAKER_01: And the other thing I find too, and I love your perspective on this, is like I feel like when it comes to personal growth, you can hear something a million times, but you're not gonna get it until you get it.
- 24:40SPEAKER_02: Oh my God, that's so well said.
- 24:41SPEAKER_02: It's so true.
- 24:42SPEAKER_02: This is like I've said this recently too.
- 24:44SPEAKER_02: Like somebody brought this up.
- 24:46SPEAKER_02: When you're learning lessons and you feel like you're learning them over and over again, it's like rereading a book.
- 24:51SPEAKER_02: Like every time you read that book, you're gonna pick up completely new insights and new pieces of information that you missed on the first round.
- 24:58SPEAKER_02: So I'm so with you.
- 24:59SPEAKER_02: Like it takes a few times for it to sink in, and it only sinks in when we're really ready to when you're actually ready.
- 25:05SPEAKER_01: And like I know I'll have clients who'll be like, Elise, I know you said this to me like 50 times, but now I finally I get it now.
- 25:14SPEAKER_01: Like now it's actually like dropping in and being embodied versus like me just hearing you say it, you know?
- 25:21SPEAKER_01: And it just it happens when we're ready.
- 25:24SPEAKER_01: And I feel like that's just the personal growth path in general, is like you can't really force it or force yourself to be at a certain place.
- 25:32SPEAKER_01: Like, of course, we can do all of the things and we can do all of the things, but it's gonna happen when it's supposed to happen.
- 25:39SPEAKER_01: So I also would love to ask you about QHHT because I'm so fascinated with Dolores Cannon's work.
- 25:45SPEAKER_01: And like I just would love to hear your experience and perspective on that.
- 25:50SPEAKER_02: Oh my God, isn't she the coolest?
- 25:52SPEAKER_02: I just remember seeing I love her, and I love that I mean she's not with us anymore, but like an elder teaching this.
- 25:58SPEAKER_02: I think this is a huge part of bringing in elder wisdom and in that respect because this industry is still very like young people led, like 20s, 30s, 40s leading this.
- 26:07SPEAKER_02: And it's like our elders and our ancient wisdom needs to come in, but that's a side note.
- 26:12SPEAKER_02: But Dolores, oh my gosh, I'm trying to remember the first time I came across her work.
- 26:16SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 26:16SPEAKER_02: I just kept coming across her work, and um, I had done a couple past life regressions in the past for myself.
- 26:24SPEAKER_02: I'd gone under.
- 26:25SPEAKER_02: And it was like cool.
- 26:27SPEAKER_02: I got some some stuff out of it, but I was like, there is a whole nother layer here that we're not getting into that like I really believe that we can access.
- 26:34SPEAKER_02: And as I, you know, started to develop this knowing, I was like, we can get deeper.
- 26:38SPEAKER_02: I know we can.
- 26:39SPEAKER_02: Then I saw Dolores' teaching and her training come up, and I was like, I really need to take this because she knows what's going on.
- 26:46SPEAKER_02: And she's done thousands of, you know, hypnosis sessions with people.
- 26:50SPEAKER_02: And it came to her so organically.
- 26:52SPEAKER_02: Like the story is that she was traveling with her husband to naval bases, and she was just traveling with him.
- 26:57SPEAKER_02: They were on a naval base at one point.
- 26:58SPEAKER_02: She was doing a hypnosis session with somebody with no intention of having it be like super deep.
- 27:03SPEAKER_02: But she ends up bringing somebody under and in, and this person is able to access this intelligence that is beyond our personal consciousness into a higher intelligence.
- 27:14SPEAKER_02: Like she calls it the subconscious because she doesn't know what else to call it, but yeah, it's a higher intelligence.
- 27:19SPEAKER_02: It's like a collective that has the ability to come in, integrate with your energy, and do spontaneous healing, really get into, you know, working out your deepest systems.
- 27:30SPEAKER_02: And like it's like you leave the body and you allow them to come in to like rework everything.
- 27:35SPEAKER_02: And it's just absolutely amazing what people go through.
- 27:38SPEAKER_02: It's kind of similar to Joe Dispenses' work, but it's very, you know, hypnosis deep based.
- 27:42SPEAKER_02: So you bring people through a whole hypno journey there.
- 27:45SPEAKER_02: And, you know, through her, I took her.
- 27:47SPEAKER_02: This course was about three months long to take, and just like witnessing what people were going through was so beautiful, so emotional.
- 27:54SPEAKER_02: It's a deeply intimate experience.
- 27:56SPEAKER_02: And um, seeing people, you know, do the trainings with each other and opening that trust level.
- 28:01SPEAKER_02: Men going through was really special to see because, you know, it's just wonderful to see men getting into this realm as well.
- 28:07SPEAKER_02: You know, I'm always curious about how to connect with that, you know, next dimension, that higher realms and start to communicate more openly with the astral realms, the ethereal realms, because I really think that it's just a matter of belief and like having our blinders on.
- 28:21SPEAKER_02: So I'm always in an effort to remove the blinders and get curious about that kind of exploration.
- 28:26SPEAKER_02: And um yeah, energy work has just been so impactful.
- 28:30SPEAKER_02: I think it's an experience that you have to have.
- 28:33SPEAKER_02: It's kind of difficult to explain to somebody who hasn't gone into that level.
- 28:37SPEAKER_02: In my visualizations, when I teach classes and I do one-on-ones with people, I'll give them kind of like the top layer of it where we'll work with the subconscious, but I also offer deep dives, or these are like three to four hours long where we really go in and and drop in together.
- 28:52SPEAKER_02: So it's beautiful.
- 28:53SPEAKER_01: It's it's very exciting work.
- 28:55SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 28:55SPEAKER_01: Oh my God.
- 28:56SPEAKER_01: It's like, I don't know what is more exciting.
- 28:59SPEAKER_01: Was there anything like crazy or life-changing that you discovered like in your own sessions of like going deep under?
- 29:07SPEAKER_02: Well, it's interesting to to just notice like what themes or like what symbols start to come through, things that are very unexpected, like as you enter these different realms.
- 29:17SPEAKER_02: I took myself under with a buddy that I trust so deeply, and we brought out like Merlin energy.
- 29:22SPEAKER_02: And I was like, where does this come from?
- 29:24SPEAKER_02: It was like wizard Merlin ancient energy.
- 29:27SPEAKER_02: And um, so there's so many different themes that you explore when you're in here.
- 29:31SPEAKER_02: Um, these are kind of like the past life, like alternate reality almost explorations.
- 29:36SPEAKER_02: And I hit one point where I was like in an Indian, like Hindu temple.
- 29:41SPEAKER_02: There's a crack that happens with people.
- 29:43SPEAKER_02: There's usually like a crux that you hit when you're in this deep dive, and like this is the whole reason you showed up together to have this epiphany almost.
- 29:51SPEAKER_02: And my epiphany in that moment was the word devotion just came through big time.
- 29:56SPEAKER_02: Like, and I just had this huge emotional release.
- 29:59SPEAKER_02: I was like, this is why I do everything in life.
- 30:02SPEAKER_02: It's an honoring to God, it's an honoring to the universe to say thank you for my happiness, for my joy of living, because I'd been through such dark periods.
- 30:10SPEAKER_02: And so everything I do is an act of devotion to speaking, to teaching, to mentoring.
- 30:14SPEAKER_02: It's like, it's an honoring of God.
- 30:16SPEAKER_02: And that's been something I've only recently been comfortable.
- 30:19SPEAKER_02: I usually call it, you know, source universe.
- 30:21SPEAKER_02: And I feel comfortable now saying God.
- 30:23SPEAKER_02: It's like not the scary thing.
- 30:24SPEAKER_02: It's just this like I have a very intimate relationship with that.
- 30:28SPEAKER_02: I'm always talking to God.
- 30:29SPEAKER_02: I'm like curious about it.
- 30:31SPEAKER_02: So that was a cracking open for me to happen recently was devotion as my whole life purpose here.
- 30:36SPEAKER_02: And that's what people get into.
- 30:38SPEAKER_02: Things happen like that.
- 30:40SPEAKER_01: That's crazy.
- 30:40SPEAKER_01: And it's interesting too, because I feel like we all, not we all, but so many of us, I feel like, kind of have a like some kind of resistance around the word God.
- 30:51SPEAKER_01: I think for me, maybe it's probably around like religious stuff and just all of the fucked up shit around religion.
- 30:59SPEAKER_01: So, like you kind of don't, it's almost like you don't want to associate God with anything good because of all of the religious programming.
- 31:07SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 31:08SPEAKER_01: I'm curious your perspective on that.
- 31:10SPEAKER_02: Completely agree.
- 31:11SPEAKER_02: And I think that was just it.
- 31:12SPEAKER_02: I finally was able to shift out of like the religious connotation to it.
- 31:16SPEAKER_02: And I feel like now I'm in this community where people just get it.
- 31:19SPEAKER_02: It's not like I'm not really in a community that's like, why are you saying God?
- 31:23SPEAKER_02: That's like it's a very triggering word.
- 31:26SPEAKER_02: But it's also like language, just noticing how we perceive language, like I'm just thinking off the top of my head.
- 31:31SPEAKER_02: Like, I've never been comfortable referring to like my feminine parts, like vagina, or like anything, like even that word like freaks me out.
- 31:40SPEAKER_02: I just call it myoni, or like just like things that are very triggering in language.
- 31:44SPEAKER_02: I'm like, how are we reworking these pieces of language?
- 31:47SPEAKER_02: And what is the programming that goes into it?
- 31:49SPEAKER_02: What part of it feels shameful or dirty or dark or like rooted in judgment or fear?
- 31:55SPEAKER_02: And so, you know, using the word God has almost been like a reclaiming of the word, and uh clearly I need to do that in other areas of my life, but I don't know, that's how I perceive it now.
- 32:04SPEAKER_02: It's just yeah, language is really fascinating.
- 32:07SPEAKER_01: Oh my god, yeah.
- 32:08SPEAKER_01: And like all of the underlying energy that we put into it, but also that I think is within the word itself.
- 32:16SPEAKER_01: I don't know, it all kind of goes together, but I I agree with you.
- 32:20SPEAKER_01: I feel much more comfortable now using the word God.
- 32:23SPEAKER_01: I think I've had so much just like having to kind of deprogram from just like ancestral stuff and kind of like shunning religion in a sense.
- 32:33SPEAKER_01: There's some stuff I like about it, but other stuff like my mom was raised Catholic and had like a lot of trauma, which I feel like I took on.
- 32:42SPEAKER_01: So I feel like I've always kind of looked at the Catholic Church and been like, oh my God, they're such fucked up, which is actually real and true.
- 32:48SPEAKER_01: They are completely fucked up and running the world in a satanic way, but other than that, like that's right.
- 32:57SPEAKER_01: But I all always kind of associated God with that paradigm of like evil, I guess you could say, which is kind of weird.
- 33:05SPEAKER_01: I didn't even realize I was doing that, but I think a lot of people probably do.
- 33:08SPEAKER_02: Absolutely.
- 33:09SPEAKER_02: Well, I think it's also like, what does God mean to you and what does each word mean to you?
- 33:13SPEAKER_02: So when I think of the universe, it doesn't really work for me because I'm thinking of the cosmos.
- 33:18SPEAKER_02: I'm thinking of the planets, that's where my mind goes.
- 33:20SPEAKER_02: I'm thinking of stars, I'm thinking of more of like matter and the quantum field.
- 33:24SPEAKER_02: And when I think of source, I'm thinking of like maybe that's closer.
- 33:28SPEAKER_02: Source and God are interchangeable, but like God to me is like the intelligence, the consciousness that holds all of us, like the eternal awareness, the now, the collective experience that we're all having as individuals and in our human bodies and in all living things.
- 33:44SPEAKER_02: So I guess I'm still trying to figure out like what exactly that connotates to me and what that means to me.
- 33:49SPEAKER_02: But I just was noticing like universe, I'm it's not really hitting the nerve that another word would.
- 33:54SPEAKER_02: And that's the closest I've gotten to being able to explain like the relationship with higher intelligence.
- 34:00SPEAKER_02: Another thing about Dolores' teachings, which was so interesting, is she quickly just mentioned this in one of her classes, was like mentioning a god of our universe, but mentioning that there are different gods of different universes, and they're all kind of blending together, which is I it was surprised me to hear her talk about different gods in different universes.
- 34:18SPEAKER_02: And so it's it just is very expansive to think like that.
- 34:21SPEAKER_02: All right, so we have one source energy, maybe that we're all like fragments of light having experiences from, but what if there are other versions of source and we're all these like supernovas and nebulas kind of like interacting like this?
- 34:34SPEAKER_02: And are there different frequencies of source energy?
- 34:37SPEAKER_02: Is there one overarching element of energy?
- 34:40SPEAKER_02: What is that?
- 34:41SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 34:41SPEAKER_02: She just really expands your curiosity and and your understanding of what reality is.
- 34:46SPEAKER_01: Oh my God, totally.
- 34:48SPEAKER_01: I mean, I've only read one of her books.
- 34:49SPEAKER_01: The only book that I read is The Three Waves of Volunteers from the New Earth.
- 34:54SPEAKER_01: And that book was, I want to read more of her books.
- 34:56SPEAKER_01: I just haven't got around to it yet.
- 34:58SPEAKER_01: But that book just blew my mind.
- 35:00SPEAKER_01: And I feel like it kind of just like you're saying, expands your view of reality.
- 35:06SPEAKER_01: So yeah, I totally agree.
- 35:08SPEAKER_01: And that is kind of crazy to think like that.
- 35:11SPEAKER_01: But I feel like there's just so much that we don't know and we don't understand, even just mostly about ourselves, too, and like the expansiveness of who we are and what we're capable of.
- 35:24SPEAKER_01: I feel like we're only like scratching the surface.
- 35:26SPEAKER_01: Did you ever see anything else that was like mind-blowing, like watching other people or getting any other like information that just like blew your mind?
- 35:35SPEAKER_02: Well, it's just so apparent how our body keeps the score, quote unquote, which is the name of a great book.
- 35:41SPEAKER_02: But it's like everything that we believe, even from past lives, come into our bodies and manifest through the body.
- 35:47SPEAKER_02: So really paying attention to how your body's intelligence is communicating with us and how each ailment in each disease holds a very significant emotional frequency that's very common.
- 35:58SPEAKER_02: Like cancer is almost always related to anger and resentment and like built-up anger over time that ends up becoming either a tumor or cancerous.
- 36:07SPEAKER_02: Just like different things, different ailments that all lead to very specific emotions that might even be from a past lifetime.
- 36:13SPEAKER_02: Like if people are coming in with birthmarks or scars, or you know, even if you come in with like asthma or something, it could be that you passed away from asphyxiation in a past life and you came in as a kid with asthma.
- 36:25SPEAKER_02: So it's like when we're unraveling, we're not even just unraveling from this lifetime.
- 36:29SPEAKER_02: We're going back to be like, what did you come in with?
- 36:31SPEAKER_02: Which is why the past life regression of it is so key as well, because it shows you what you might be bringing in to this experience and that you can also release.
- 36:40SPEAKER_02: Um, because many of us will come in with contracts in a way, like vows of chastity or vows of poverty, or of like different vows, energetic agreements that we made from our learnings from a past life.
- 36:51SPEAKER_02: So it's like trying to kind of get back to ground zero to be like, let's start from here and rebuild from here.
- 36:58SPEAKER_02: And it's just absolutely amazing what can happen when you get to the root emotional core cause of whatever is bringing up an ailment in the body.
- 37:05SPEAKER_02: And that's where the spontaneous healings seem to happen with people is the acknowledgement and the willingness to let go of it.
- 37:12SPEAKER_02: Because another part of that is if we haven't, some part of us needs it, some part of us is clinging on to it as part of an identity.
- 37:19SPEAKER_02: So that leaving behind is a huge, huge thing.
- 37:23SPEAKER_02: People are like, oh, well, I'm ready to let it go, but are you?
- 37:26SPEAKER_02: What are you identifying with that's like keeping you in this in this circuit?
- 37:30SPEAKER_02: And this, a lot of people identify with being sick.
- 37:32SPEAKER_02: It's part of who they are, and they on some level enjoy that.
- 37:36SPEAKER_01: So it's like to that point of being willing to let go, or they're always like they're getting something out of it, right?
- 37:43SPEAKER_01: Like whether it's like they're getting attention from their family, or it's that they don't have to like live out their purpose, or whatever it is, there's always some underlying thing that they're getting out of it.
- 37:54SPEAKER_01: And then also the other thing that I see with people too is I feel like there's this way where we have this fear or this belief that if we let go of resentment or holding on to a certain situation, that that's somehow going to then that other person isn't gonna have to pay for what they did.
- 38:14SPEAKER_01: So we hold on to it because we want to make the other person pay.
- 38:19SPEAKER_01: And I see that like in people's fields a lot.
- 38:22SPEAKER_01: And it what it was something for me too.
- 38:24SPEAKER_01: Like I had to deal with that also.
- 38:26SPEAKER_01: So I feel like that's another reason why we kind of like overly identify with this pain because we're like, okay, well, I have to hold on to this to make sure that it's not just forgotten about.
- 38:38SPEAKER_02: Yes, that's such a powerful insight to have.
- 38:40SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I'm so with you there.
- 38:42SPEAKER_02: It's also like when we change, it's a lot of fear around like, okay, so this is my life now.
- 38:46SPEAKER_02: These are all the people in my life.
- 38:48SPEAKER_02: Like, this is my job, this is everything that I identify with.
- 38:50SPEAKER_02: If I change in iota, everything's gonna like explode.
- 38:54SPEAKER_02: So, one of the things that you know, working through clients with is everything is like opening yourself up to change and knowing that as you grow and you heal, you you send that out to your entire collective.
- 39:03SPEAKER_02: So when you change, it's not like your whole life is gonna explode, it's like it's only gonna get better.
- 39:08SPEAKER_02: It's only gonna get better.
- 39:10SPEAKER_02: So removing that fear or just shifting that fear into optimism, really, and and like moving forward with courage in that way and knowing that whatever gets left behind, it's it's time to go.
- 39:20SPEAKER_02: But the shakeup is scary for people.
- 39:22SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah, 100%.
- 39:23SPEAKER_01: Because even within the context of like the pain or the suffering that we hold, there's a safety in that because it's like known, you know, and it's comfortable in a certain way.
- 39:36SPEAKER_01: And I think, you know, one of the biggest wounds is just like not feeling safe in the world.
- 39:40SPEAKER_01: And there's a sense of like not feeling safe when you change and you let go of all this stuff, even though it like seems counterintuitive, it actually doesn't feel safe to let go and change.
- 39:53SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 39:53SPEAKER_02: And it isn't it so funny.
- 39:54SPEAKER_02: It's like the things that are clearly good for us, like we hold ourselves back from because of these identity wounds.
- 40:00SPEAKER_02: It's like even like money has been a very interesting thing to look at with a lot of clients because it's usually related to their family connections or the support from their mother and father and like growing up basically.
- 40:11SPEAKER_02: Even in our 20s and 30s, 40s, it's like still like holding on to our parental relationships.
- 40:16SPEAKER_02: So, like, you know, one beautiful client that I've had is like her connection with her mother is completely rooted in the financial stability.
- 40:23SPEAKER_02: And she's like, if I stop relying on my mother for money, she's not gonna love me anymore.
- 40:27SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna lose her support.
- 40:28SPEAKER_02: All right.
- 40:28SPEAKER_02: So a lot of what we're doing is working through how to deepen a connection with her mother that has nothing to do with money, that's just two beings together.
- 40:36SPEAKER_02: So yeah, it's like it would help her to expand out of that, make her own money and move forward.
- 40:41SPEAKER_02: But it's very related to her intimate connection with her mom and being afraid of losing that connection with her mom.
- 40:47SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and I think we like actually with money, money is such an interesting topic in general, but I feel like we end up projecting our relationship wounds like onto money.
- 40:58SPEAKER_01: So whatever is kind of unhealed within our relationships with our parents, we like project that onto money, thinking like, like I know for me, I went through having to dismantle.
- 41:08SPEAKER_01: It was almost like I was projecting my relationship with my mom, which was kind of bracing for impact all the time, or feeling like something bad was gonna happen, or I didn't know what was gonna happen.
- 41:18SPEAKER_01: And I was projecting that onto money.
- 41:20SPEAKER_01: Like every time I open my bank account, I'm like, oh my God, like what's gonna happen?
- 41:25SPEAKER_01: Like bracing for somehow I lost a bunch of money, or somehow I had to pay for something I didn't remember about, or whatever.
- 41:31SPEAKER_01: And it was every day was like this crazy fear.
- 41:35SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, holy shit, why am I doing this to money?
- 41:38SPEAKER_01: It doesn't have to be this way.
- 41:40SPEAKER_02: Yeah, absolutely.
- 41:41SPEAKER_02: Isn't it wild how our nervous system reacts to money?
- 41:44SPEAKER_02: Money is like the biggest trigger for people for sure.
- 41:46SPEAKER_02: It seems like that.
- 41:47SPEAKER_02: Oh my god, it totally is.
- 41:49SPEAKER_01: Do you like help people work through their money stuff?
- 41:52SPEAKER_01: Is that one of your things?
- 41:54SPEAKER_01: I mean, I'm sure it comes up.
- 41:55SPEAKER_01: I know it's gonna be with everybody.
- 41:57SPEAKER_02: So just naturally comes up, and I do try to hold the knowing, like I've gotta practice what I preach, basically.
- 42:03SPEAKER_02: So part of me has resistance because I'm like, I'm not a millionaire, like I don't, I, you know, I'm not perfect with money.
- 42:08SPEAKER_02: Like, am I qualified to be teaching this?
- 42:10SPEAKER_02: But I can teach how I I've gotten better with money and have developed a better relationship with it.
- 42:15SPEAKER_02: So if I can teach from that place, yeah, for sure.
- 42:17SPEAKER_02: And there are definitely just moments that I've been like, I've been there, I've worked through that.
- 42:21SPEAKER_02: So I can definitely help you with that.
- 42:22SPEAKER_02: But it always comes up.
- 42:24SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's a huge part of core wounding with people.
- 42:27SPEAKER_02: And like you said, their relationships.
- 42:28SPEAKER_02: And I also noticed that our romantic partnerships really reflect where we are in our careers and making money and like because, like you said, it's so rooted in safety, it's that root chakra.
- 42:39SPEAKER_02: So yeah, it's just regulating the nervous system, trusting money, you know, affirming money and not seeing, you know, so many of our belief systems surround money being bad or evil because all the wealthiest people in the world seem to be ruining the world.
- 42:51SPEAKER_02: It's like to have money be evil in a lot of people's minds.
- 42:54SPEAKER_02: So it's like repairing that relationship with money as an energy and opening yourself up to prosperity, knowing that you can handle it, trusting yourself with money.
- 43:03SPEAKER_02: That's another big thing.
- 43:04SPEAKER_02: It's like a lot of beliefs that come through are like, all right, money just leaves when it comes in, or I'm not good with managing money.
- 43:10SPEAKER_02: So what I do with a lot of people is just it really is is building trust with yourself because it's like if you can manage a little bit of a savings or just like set money aside for pampering yourself specifically, it all relates to self-worth and self-care, you know?
- 43:23SPEAKER_02: So it's all the same.
- 43:25SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's it's just energy.
- 43:27SPEAKER_01: Totally.
- 43:28SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 43:28SPEAKER_01: And I know, like we always say it's just energy, but I feel like one of the reasons why it seems so hard for people is because it's so weighted for whatever reason.
- 43:38SPEAKER_01: Like I know for me, whenever, like, for example, with this podcast, I had zero attachment to what happened with this podcast, not because I didn't care, but because there was no like money involved in it.
- 43:49SPEAKER_01: Like it wasn't like I was launching a program or I was like taking on new clients.
- 43:54SPEAKER_01: I was just doing it because I felt called to do it.
- 43:57SPEAKER_01: It seemed fun, and then all of a sudden it like takes.
- 44:00SPEAKER_01: Off, you know, and it's like going really well.
- 44:03SPEAKER_01: All these amazing guests are coming on, and I'm like thinking about it, and I'm like, hmm, why was this so easy for me to grow this podcast?
- 44:11SPEAKER_01: And um, and I was like, Oh, it's because there was no money involved.
- 44:14SPEAKER_01: I mean, obviously, I pay to get it like produced or whatever, but that's not it, wasn't like something where I'm like making money from it.
- 44:20SPEAKER_01: So I had zero attachment to it, and I was like, wow, that is really interesting.
- 44:26SPEAKER_01: Yeah, the weight that we put to money and receiving money and like what that means.
- 44:33SPEAKER_02: Absolutely.
- 44:34SPEAKER_02: And what I'm getting from this too is like you came from this from a place of service.
- 44:38SPEAKER_02: It's like you're just giving, you're being of service.
- 44:41SPEAKER_02: And I think that's the thing to expand into with money for a lot of people is the willingness to expand in a joyful place, but to be of service.
- 44:49SPEAKER_02: And the more that we expand into that place, but it's like, and when I say energy too, it's like, so you want to be a millionaire.
- 44:55SPEAKER_02: Do you have the energetic breadth to handle what it means to be a millionaire and to be of service on that scale?
- 45:01SPEAKER_02: Because that's what we're working up to, is to hold the energetic space that a millionaire holds for that many people, or you know what I mean?
- 45:08SPEAKER_02: So it's like there's a lot of that.
- 45:11SPEAKER_02: So can you get your energy up and your stamina up to actually match that frequency?
- 45:15SPEAKER_01: I 100% agree because I think about that a lot.
- 45:18SPEAKER_01: Because as I've like expanded my business, all I'm literally doing is expanding the amount of like space that I'm holding for people, right?
- 45:25SPEAKER_01: So like it starts out with like a few people and it just keeps growing into like more and more and more people, which translates to more money, but the money is kind of like a side effect of just like the space or like capacity that I'm just holding for people.
- 45:40SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 45:40SPEAKER_01: Totally.
- 45:41SPEAKER_01: It's like the same exact thing.
- 45:43SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 45:43SPEAKER_02: And that's why it's so important to have fun with what we're doing for work or for anything, because like if you're gonna expand and have a beautiful life, like you gotta have fun doing it.
- 45:52SPEAKER_02: So it's really getting people into alignment with their purpose as well.
- 45:55SPEAKER_02: So they can grow like that.
- 45:57SPEAKER_02: And it's it feels easier, not so heavy.
- 45:59SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 45:59SPEAKER_01: So what would you say are like some of the most important tools for people to use to kind of get into that place of alignment or expansion?
- 46:10SPEAKER_02: I think two right off the bat, like very simple.
- 46:13SPEAKER_02: Number one is like self-talk, positive self-talk, compassionate self-talk.
- 46:17SPEAKER_02: And that might mean looking in the mirror while you're brushing your teeth and saying, I love you.
- 46:21SPEAKER_02: You're doing such a great job.
- 46:22SPEAKER_02: Look how far you've come, speaking your affirmations.
- 46:25SPEAKER_02: And what I've been doing is switching that from like, I am so great in the mirror to like you are so great, because a lot of our programming came from kids being told like you can or you can't do this.
- 46:35SPEAKER_02: So using that same language as we look into our own eyes and say, you are amazing, you've got this, you're so loved, seems to trigger our brain in a different way.
- 46:44SPEAKER_02: So that positive self-talk and really keeping that gentle, compassionate self-talk going throughout everything.
- 46:50SPEAKER_02: I've just not found that negative reinforcement works at all.
- 46:53SPEAKER_02: Like it just never has worked for my well-being.
- 46:56SPEAKER_02: So it's like positive reinforcement mixed with honesty.
- 46:59SPEAKER_02: Like, how are we doing?
- 46:59SPEAKER_02: Like a little temperature check.
- 47:01SPEAKER_02: Like, what's going on?
- 47:01SPEAKER_02: Is there room to grow here?
- 47:03SPEAKER_02: Okay, I honor the growth, and now here's the next step.
- 47:06SPEAKER_02: But like holding that sense of compassion for yourself is like number one and really paying attention to how we speak to ourselves because again, the body hears everything that we say, our we our energy reflects that in every interaction that we have.
- 47:20SPEAKER_02: So kindness and compassion.
- 47:22SPEAKER_02: And then the second is stillness, you know, which a lot of people are leaning into more is the stillness is productive in and of itself, because when we allow that space for stillness, we open up space for clarity, insight, inspiration, like downloads and guidance for our steps forward.
- 47:38SPEAKER_02: Every time I've made a big life change for the better has been from a place of stillness where I really get quiet, even just for a moment, to say, I'm gonna listen and trust my next move.
- 47:50SPEAKER_02: And that's where it will come in.
- 47:52SPEAKER_02: And yeah, so that has a huge part to do with just trusting source, just trusting the path forward.
- 47:59SPEAKER_02: And yeah, so I think those are my two pillars.
- 48:01SPEAKER_02: And that's you know what I work into my rising rituals and and everything to like stay in alignment is to just keep that open communication with the universe God source, whatever you want to call it.
- 48:13SPEAKER_02: But um yeah, yeah, that's been Michael.
- 48:17SPEAKER_01: I love that.
- 48:17SPEAKER_01: I mean, the self-talk is so important.
- 48:20SPEAKER_01: Like I always say to people that we treat ourselves the way our parents treated us.
- 48:26SPEAKER_01: So similar to what you're saying, to say it in the you format, because we kind of have to dismantle some of the ways that we speak to ourselves that is just based on like what our parents said.
- 48:39SPEAKER_01: And it's kind of hard to do because sometimes we're not even actually like saying it in our mind.
- 48:44SPEAKER_01: It's just kind of like an energy or a feeling on like a physiological level that we're kind of like replaying, and it's more like on a subconscious level.
- 48:53SPEAKER_01: So starting to kind of override that a little bit with like the way that we're just kind of treating ourselves on a daily basis is so important.
- 49:02SPEAKER_01: And to just even have awareness around that.
- 49:04SPEAKER_01: Cause I think so many people are just kind of on autopilot and not really realizing the way that they're actually speaking to themselves and treating themselves, which has like a huge impact on your life and the results you're gonna get and how you're gonna feel and all of that stuff.
- 49:21SPEAKER_01: So that's incredibly important.
- 49:24SPEAKER_01: And then obviously the stillness thing is definitely a thing.
- 49:29SPEAKER_02: I mean, even if it's not like meditation, because I know that can be daunting for some people, and it's like it doesn't have to be so intense, like you go into a 30-minute journey, just like have a second, sit under a tree for a minute, and just sit still for and uh set the intention for clarity and allow whatever's gonna come through to come through.
- 49:46SPEAKER_02: The only other thing I'll say about that too, I don't know if you know your human design, but that's been very expansive to just like know how our energy works, how we produce, how we work, because we don't all work the same.
- 49:57SPEAKER_02: And that's been very relieving on my heart to be like, I'm a projector and we work in spurts, like you know, and uh we we're not meant to be doing nine to five go, go, go.
- 50:06SPEAKER_02: Some people work great like that, some people really work like that.
- 50:09SPEAKER_02: And it just made me a lot more gentle with myself to be like, okay, this is how I work, this is how I show up, this is how I communicate.
- 50:16SPEAKER_02: And it just like gave me this whole new insight into my energy type.
- 50:19SPEAKER_02: So, do you know what yours is?
- 50:20SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I'm a manifesting generator.
- 50:23SPEAKER_01: Yes, I'm a one-three manifesting generator, sacral authority.
- 50:28SPEAKER_01: So I can handle a lot and I move really fast and I like think really fast and like I process information really fast.
- 50:36SPEAKER_01: So I'm kind of like a fast person.
- 50:38SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 50:38SPEAKER_01: Um, and I know things really quickly, like I'll know immediately.
- 50:42SPEAKER_01: Like, if I'm supposed to do something, it's not something where I'm like, oh, let me think about it.
- 50:46SPEAKER_01: Like the only reason I'll probably sit with something is because I have like a little fear about it, and I'll be like, let me sit with this, even though I already know I'm gonna do it.
- 50:53SPEAKER_01: I'm just gonna sit with it for a minute.
- 50:55SPEAKER_01: But I know things immediately.
- 50:57SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 50:57SPEAKER_01: So, but it was so helpful to just have that understanding about your energy.
- 51:02SPEAKER_01: Like when I had my first human design reading, my mind was blown because I was just like, Oh, this makes so much sense.
- 51:08SPEAKER_01: And even the way she was describing, like the way I process and assimilate information and share information.
- 51:16SPEAKER_01: And I was just like, wow, that's like exactly what I do.
- 51:20SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 51:20SPEAKER_01: Doesn't it make you feel so seen?
- 51:22SPEAKER_01: It's yeah, so seen.
- 51:24SPEAKER_01: Oh my God, it's crazy.
- 51:26SPEAKER_01: I was like, wow, you're literally describing every single thing about me.
- 51:30SPEAKER_01: And it it also made me feel like so validated in like what I was doing, because I was like, oh, this is exactly what I'm supposed to be doing.
- 51:39SPEAKER_02: Exactly.
- 51:40SPEAKER_02: Absolutely.
- 51:41SPEAKER_02: And whatever we can do to get more into that space is just awesome.
- 51:44SPEAKER_02: And it's not even like it is so validating because it releases us from this comparison trap too, to feel like, oh, all my friends are getting up at 6 a.m.
- 51:52SPEAKER_02: Why am I sleeping till nine or 10?
- 51:54SPEAKER_02: It's like, well, it's just how my energy cycles work, and that's okay, even down to like what we eat and like, you know, just how we process so many different things and how we step into leadership positions or everything.
- 52:05SPEAKER_02: It's just amazing.
- 52:06SPEAKER_02: So cool.
- 52:07SPEAKER_02: I'm glad you know yours too.
- 52:08SPEAKER_02: I love it.
- 52:09SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah, definitely.
- 52:10SPEAKER_01: So um, can you let everyone know where they can find you and connect with you?
- 52:15SPEAKER_02: Oh, of course.
- 52:16SPEAKER_02: Um, so I'm all very active on Instagram at Helen Denham underscore.
- 52:20SPEAKER_02: My website's helendenham.com.
- 52:22SPEAKER_02: I teach meditation a few times a week, virtual offerings.
- 52:26SPEAKER_02: And um, otherwise, if you want to work with me one-on-one and one of those deep dives, those are really exciting.
- 52:30SPEAKER_02: And then mentorships for people who are really ready to commit to their growth and long-term, long-term healing.
- 52:37SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 52:37SPEAKER_02: Awesome.
- 52:38SPEAKER_02: So that's it.
- 52:39SPEAKER_01: Thank you so much for asking and letting me share.
- 52:41SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 52:41SPEAKER_01: Oh my gosh, of course.
- 52:43SPEAKER_01: And then for our final question for everybody, um, for you, what is a non-negotiable when it comes to fully reclaiming your consciousness?
- 52:53SPEAKER_02: I'm just gonna say that having a rising ritual has really um brought me back to my autonomy and my sovereignty.
- 53:01SPEAKER_02: It's helped me in every way because when you take that space for yourself in the morning, you set beautiful boundaries, better boundaries for yourself.
- 53:09SPEAKER_02: You reclaim your energy.
- 53:10SPEAKER_02: It's amazing how our energy just gets spread around so many different people, places, things.
- 53:15SPEAKER_02: It's a time of reclamation in the morning and very intentional practice.
- 53:20SPEAKER_02: So yeah, I think that's just a non-negotiable is having my my space in the as I rise to begin each day.
- 53:26SPEAKER_02: It kind of encompasses everything else.
- 53:28SPEAKER_01: Oh my God, totally.
- 53:29SPEAKER_01: I feel like being intentional with your energy and your consciousness is like the most important thing that you can do and kind of like something that no one ever teaches you, at least not yet in the world.
- 53:44SPEAKER_01: Hopefully.
- 53:46SPEAKER_01: I mean, we'll start more, but yeah, it's so important to like just have even just a few moments where you're being intentional with where you're putting your energy, you're clearing your energy.
- 53:58SPEAKER_01: I think that's so important.
- 53:59SPEAKER_01: I had this moment yesterday.
- 54:00SPEAKER_01: I had like three days of being around like so many people with family, and like it was my kid's birthday party and like all of this stuff.
- 54:10SPEAKER_01: And like yesterday, I just like laid down in bed and I was like, holy shit! Like I could feel like because I hadn't like done any energy work, I hadn't cleared my energy, and I was like so energetically overwhelmed, it was palpable.
- 54:26SPEAKER_01: And I cleared my energy, was by myself for a few minutes, and even just after those few minutes, I was like a completely different person.
- 54:33SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 54:34SPEAKER_01: So it's so incredibly important, and I don't think we even realize the impact that intentionally changing your energy has on you, even for just a few minutes.
- 54:44SPEAKER_02: So absolutely I love that.
- 54:46SPEAKER_01: I love that so much.
- 54:47SPEAKER_02: Yeah, thank you so much for having me, Elise.
- 54:50SPEAKER_02: And I'm excited because I'm gonna chat with you on my show too, right?
- 54:52SPEAKER_02: Soon.
