  Our kind and most gracious to Heavenly Father, Lord, we thank you for this.

  Another opportunity to come before you.
• 1:24
  Lord, we thank you for this amazing scripture that we're about to read.
• 1:29
  The scripture, Lord, that tells us why you came.
• 1:32
  Lord, that tells us the hope that we have in this world.
• 1:35
  Lord, the light that you are in our lives.
• 1:38
  Lord, the way we're to live. And Lord, gives us hope and meeting.
• 1:43
  We're thankful to Heavenly Father that you came to this earth,
• 1:46
  that you left the splendor of heaven and all that was there as King of kings
• 1:51
  and Lord of lords to come as a lowly babe in a manger.
• 1:55
  And Lord, we're thankful that you chose to die upon the cross of Calvary and
• 2:00
  shed your blood for our sins.
• 2:03
  And Lord, we know that the scripture teaches us that if we'd only been one person
• 2:07
  here, Lord, if it had only been me, that you would have sent your son,
• 2:12
  that I might have life and have it more abundantly.
• 2:16
  Lord, we're grateful that you didn't stay a babe in that manger,
• 2:19
  that you lived and you walked among this world, Lord, that we might be able
• 2:23
  to have a full confidence that you know what it's like.
• 2:27
  Yet you were without sin. And Lord, every heartache that we bring to you and
• 2:32
  every problem that we bring to you, you understand and you are capable of answering and solving.
• 2:40
  But you understand when we hurt.
• 2:42
  You understand when we're sad. You understand when we're confused.
• 2:47
  We have full confidence because you are fully man and fully God.
• 2:51
  And Lord, you chose willingly to die upon the cross of Calvary that we might
• 2:55
  have a plan of salvation, that we might call upon you and that you would save
• 3:01
  each and every person who would call upon you.
• 3:03
  And Lord, that you chose to dwell in us because you didn't want to be away from
• 3:08
  us. So you left heaven and came to earth.
• 3:11
  You paid the supreme penalty and sacrifice for our sins.
• 3:15
  And then when you went back, you left the Holy Spirit, the third person of the
• 3:20
  Trinity to teach us and to guide us and to comfort us.
• 3:23
  But you left us with your holy word to allow us to know that you were coming
• 3:27
  back and if we would just place our faith in you we could receive the most precious
• 3:32
  gift of peace and salvation.
• 3:35
  The salvation that we need to make it from this world to
• 3:38
  the next that we could see home in heaven lord that
• 3:41
  eyes haven't seen and ears haven't heard and peace
• 3:44
  in this world that we would know that you are in control that
• 3:48
  all things are under your feet and lord
• 3:51
  that you and only you are the answer to
• 3:53
  our every need lord i pray that you would
• 3:56
  be with us as we sing and we worship you lord that
• 4:00
  you would be with us as we read your holy word and
• 4:03
  that each person that listens would have that moment where they feel you divinely
• 4:09
  in their life or that they feel you that it's just you and them and lord that
• 4:14
  the rest of the world is just forgotten and their problems and the things that
• 4:19
  would distract them are removed.
• 4:21
  But for a moment in time, they're face to face with you and they stand in your
• 4:25
  presence and we can worship you as you speak to us, your children.
• 4:30
  Lord, I pray that those who listen who don't know you,
• 4:33
  that the Holy Spirit would woo them and the Holy Spirit would draw them and
• 4:37
  something would be said or done, Lord, that they would find that peace that
• 4:41
  passes all understanding that's found in the gift of your salvation, which is free to all.
• 4:47
  Lord, bless us with the remaining time that we have. Watch over us and protect
• 4:52
  us, we pray. In Jesus' name, amen.

  The Bible says that we are to praise him and worship him in song.

  And perhaps no other time do we sing as much as we sing at Christmastime.

  So on this Christmas day, whatever day you're listening to this,

  just join us as we sing a familiar Christmas carol, the first Noel. The first Noel.

  In full reverently in his presence and

  every time we bow our hearts in prayer we

  come to him and in

  his presence and he tells us behold i

  stand at the door and knock if any man will open up

  i'll come and i'll sup with him the bible says
• 9:30
  he says ask and ye shall receive seek and
• 9:33
  ye shall find and knock and it shall be opened unto you
• 9:36
  the prophet jeremiah and 33 3 says
• 9:39
  call unto me and i will answer thee and show the great and mighty things which
• 9:44
  thou knowest not we have the promise that when we call upon him if we do not
• 9:51
  hold iniquity in our hearts that he will hear us and he will answer our prayers
• 9:56
  when we call upon him. We are in his presence.

  Sometimes I like to just sit in his presence and just talk to him because he's
• 10:05
  a friend that stick is closer than a brother and he's the best friend you'll ever have.

  And so I like to pour my heart out to him and pray, but I also like to just
• 10:14
  talk to him and allow him to talk to me as the Psalmist David said to be still and know that he is God.

  In Luke chapter 2, beginning in verse 1, we find these amazing words.

  And it came to pass in those days that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus
• 10:33
  that all the world should be taxed.
• 10:36
  And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.
• 10:40
  And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city.
• 10:44
  And Joseph also went up from Galilee out
• 10:47
  of the city of Nazareth into Judea unto the
• 10:50
  city of David which is called Bethlehem because he
• 10:53
  was of the house and lineage of David to be
• 10:56
  taxed with Mary his espoused wife being great
• 11:00
  with child and so it was that while
• 11:02
  they were there the days were accomplished that she should
• 11:05
  be delivered and she brought forth her firstborn
• 11:09
  son and wrapped him in swaddling clothes and
• 11:12
  laid him in a manger because there was no room for them in the end and there
• 11:17
  were in these same country shepherds abiding in the field keeping watch over
• 11:22
  their flock by night and lo the angel of the lord came upon them and the glory
• 11:28
  of the lord shone round about them and they were sore afraid.

  And the angel said unto them, Fear not, for behold, I bring you good tidings
• 11:37
  of great joy, which shall be to all people.
• 11:40
  For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior,
• 11:44
  which is Christ the Lord.
• 11:47
  This shall be a sign unto you. You shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling
• 11:51
  clothes, lying in a manger.
• 11:52
  And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host,
• 11:56
  praising God and saying, glory to God
• 11:59
  in the highest and on earth peace goodwill toward
• 12:03
  men and it came to pass as the angels
• 12:05
  were gone away from them into heaven the shepherds
• 12:09
  said one to another let us now go even unto Bethlehem and
• 12:12
  see this thing which come to pass which the
• 12:16
  Lord has made known unto us it was prophesied and it happened he told us that
• 12:24
  he would love us and he does you can believe every promise that is in his word
• 12:29
  because on that night he left all of heaven for the purpose to die for your sins and mine.
• 12:36
  Jesus loves me, this I know, for the Bible tells me so.
• 12:41
  And the greatest gift that has ever been unwrapped is the love of Jesus as he
• 12:46
  gave his life on the cross of Calvary.
• 12:48
  The greatest change in your life that you'll ever have is to receive him as Savior.
• 12:54
  And the greatest thing that would ever happen in your life is to know him as your Lord.
• 12:59
  The Bible says for whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

  And this moment right now, you have the opportunity to change your eternity forever.
