- 0:12Hi, Jay, Fallon here. Thanks for listening to The
- 0:14Slippery Slope. And obviously, I have Pastor
- 0:17Patrick Russell joining us today.
- 0:20It's the first time in a long time.
- 0:22Patrick, Pastor Patrick, very welcome.
- 0:25Thanks for joining me today. I do apologise for not having
- 0:28you earlier. Like I said before, I, I, you
- 0:31did a trip which actually my parents went with you to Israel
- 0:35and I had intended on asking you to come with onto the programme
- 0:41and just share about the trip and what's happening in Israel.
- 0:44However, the war broke out in Israel just I think literally
- 0:50three days after you got back, I think it was something like
- 0:54that. And October, October 7th
- 0:57happened. And yeah.
- 1:00And then I've been putting things off since then thinking
- 1:04things will change and, and waiting.
- 1:06And then eventually I thought, oh, just got to, just got to do
- 1:09it. So anyway, welcome.
- 1:10Thanks. And just want you to share
- 1:12anything that's on your heart about Israel, what's happening?
- 1:15Any updates you think are important that are not getting
- 1:18out there maybe on mainstream media and you know, and, and
- 1:24anything that you think is important about Israel, we
- 1:27obviously talking about the importance of Israel biblically
- 1:31from a prophetic point of view. But yeah, take it away.
- 1:35Pastor Patrick, how are you? Yeah, yeah.
- 1:38Good night. Thanks very much for having me.
- 1:40Good to see you again. Thank you.
- 1:42Yeah, as you mentioned, we, we were in Israel the end of
- 1:46September, early October. It was actually October 4th that
- 1:49we were, as we, we returned home and three days later the events
- 1:56of October 7th happened. It's, it's a bit surreal because
- 2:00we were actually our tour group and your parents were on that
- 2:03group as well. Our tour group were in the
- 2:06southern parts of Israel, there in the city of Sterat.
- 2:11And Sterat is famous. You see the Hamas guys in the
- 2:15back of the Ute they're all, you know, fully armed and driving
- 2:18through the streets and murdering people.
- 2:19Well, that's where we were just days before.
- 2:22And so to be there and then to come home and to see that and
- 2:25think, wow, yeah, we were that close to being there ourselves
- 2:28was. It's a bit surreal.
- 2:30But as you said, since then, it's been over 10 months,
- 2:35quickly approaching a year, and the the war hasn't subsided.
- 2:39In fact, it's getting probably more crazy as more and more
- 2:45proxies of Iran join the battle against Israel.
- 2:48They're being attacked from the north and the South and the east
- 2:51and being attacked in the West through the media or all Israel
- 2:57surrounded in every way. So it's very important, I think
- 3:01we get the message out there concerning the truth and the
- 3:07facts because there's a lot of lies, there's a lot of
- 3:11misunderstanding, there's a lot of ignorance when it comes to
- 3:15Israel. And I think part of the reason
- 3:19that I'm involved with Christian friends of Israel is to try and
- 3:22bring that truth and bring that balance.
- 3:25And of course, I'm talking from a biblical point of view.
- 3:28I'm, you know, you can enter the politics of it and you'll debate
- 3:32until the cows come home. It's, it's one of those issues
- 3:35that everyone has a, an opinion on.
- 3:38But from my point of view, I don't look at it politically,
- 3:43look at it biblically as a Christian.
- 3:46And I have a totally different view, obviously, looking at it
- 3:49biblically than the world does politically.
- 3:52And the two will clash and there'll be a lot of kickback
- 3:57and feedback. And but, you know, as
- 4:00Christians, I think we've got to look at it biblically.
- 4:03Now, if you look at it biblically, that land that
- 4:08Palestinians are fighting over and declaring is theirs.
- 4:11Well, biblically, that land belongs to the nation of Israel,
- 4:16and if you want to argue that way, you need to argue with God,
- 4:19because it was God who actually gave Israel that land.
- 4:23He made a promise with Abraham, the father of the Jewish nation,
- 4:28that that land would be an everlasting possession of his
- 4:30and his descendants forever. When, when what was the time
- 4:34frame of that? What was what was that?
- 4:35Sorry? What was the time frame when he
- 4:39the promise was made to Abraham? What?
- 4:42What? Yeah.
- 4:45At least 3000 years ago, about 3 1/2 thousand years ago.
- 4:49And in fact Abraham was living in what is today modern Iraq and
- 4:54God called him to leave that that nation and go to a land
- 4:58that God would take him to. And God took him to the land
- 5:01which was actually called Canaan.
- 5:03It was full of Canaanites. And so when Abraham entered the
- 5:07land, God said, I'm going to give you all this land here as
- 5:11an everlasting possession for you and your descendants.
- 5:14And of course you go down the line of descendants.
- 5:17And Abraham had a son called Isaac and Ishmael.
- 5:20But God didn't say to Ishmael, this is your land.
- 5:24He actually said, I'm going to make my covenant with Isaac.
- 5:27And so Isaac to you and your descendants, I'm going to give
- 5:30this land. Then Isaac had two sons, Jacob
- 5:33and Esau. But God says, no, Esau, this is
- 5:35not your land. I'm going to give it to Jacob as
- 5:39an everlasting possession. And Jacob had twelve sons who
- 5:42became the 12 tribes of Israel. So we see biblically, the land
- 5:47was given to Abraham, his son Isaac, and his son Jacob, who
- 5:51had the 12 sons who became the 12 tribes of Israel.
- 5:54So biblically, there's no dispute the land belongs to
- 5:58Israel. It was given as an everlasting
- 6:00possession by God himself. So you can have the United
- 6:04Nations say this is not your land.
- 6:06You can have the governments of the world stand up and say, no,
- 6:09you need to divide this land. No, biblically, the land belongs
- 6:12to Israel. Now that is a very political
- 6:15statement today because the world is calling for the
- 6:18division of the land and people. Like I said, you can argue the
- 6:22politics, but I'm not going to argue the politics because I'm
- 6:25going to stand on what God has said in His Word.
- 6:28And if that ruffles people's feathers, well, so be it.
- 6:33That's where I stand, and that's where I look at this conflict
- 6:36today in light of what God has said.
- 6:38The land belongs to Israel. Those that are trying to take
- 6:42the land off Israel are poking God in the eye.
- 6:45They're trying to thwart the plans and the purposes and the
- 6:47promises of God. And as a Christian, I'll always
- 6:51stand with Israel, not because they're perfect, but because I
- 6:55love the God of Israel. I was asked that question in
- 6:58Israel in an Orthodox Jewish home.
- 7:00We took a group there to celebrate the Passover and they
- 7:03were teaching us about Passover and we were talking about how we
- 7:06loved Israel and how we loved Israel.
- 7:08And the father of the house got up in front of all his family
- 7:11and everyone says, you know, why do you Christians love Israel?
- 7:15And I was able to stand up and say, listen, we we don't, we
- 7:19don't love Israel because you're perfect.
- 7:22We love Israel because we love the God of Israel.
- 7:25That's the difference. So you can be imperfect, but
- 7:29that doesn't stop us from loving you because we know God loves
- 7:31you because of the covenant that he made with your father's
- 7:35Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. So it's not we love you because
- 7:38you're perfect and you do everything right.
- 7:40And no, in fact, there's a lot of things wrong with Israel, how
- 7:44they do things, but our love is not dependent on them being good
- 7:48enough. Our love is simply because the
- 7:51God of Israel loves them and we love the God of Israel.
- 7:54And so we will stand with what God has said concerning that
- 7:57land. So to put it all in context,
- 8:03well, my stance as far as supporting Israel is biblically
- 8:08based. It's not politically based.
- 8:10So I won't argue with anybody who wants to argue politically
- 8:13because as I said, there's going to be two 310 opinions.
- 8:18You know, my, my opinion and my understanding comes directly
- 8:21from what God has said in his word.
- 8:23And I'll support Israel to defend their land against anyone
- 8:28who will try and take that land off them.
- 8:31So a couple of questions that keep not questions, statements
- 8:35that keep getting put to me when people want to argue with me
- 8:39online and not that I don't argue with them, but right,
- 8:42they, it's a bit of vitriol out there about you start talking
- 8:46about Israel. Quite a few times people have
- 8:50come at me and said that, and I've, I've got a feeling that
- 8:54these people may be Christians or well, I, I don't know.
- 9:01They, they seem to have Bible understanding.
- 9:03It seems like maybe they, they believe in God, the Bible.
- 9:08But there's quite a few people that come at me and say these
- 9:11people that are in Israel aren't actually Jewish people.
- 9:18They aren't the descendants of, of, of, of Abraham.
- 9:22How do you go about saying yeah how?
- 9:25What's your thoughts on that? Well, my thoughts on that is
- 9:30that, well, 2000 years ago, Israel was scattered into the
- 9:33nations of the world when the Roman general Titus came and
- 9:38destroyed Jerusalem in 70 AD, destroyed the city.
- 9:44And I witnessed by the name of Josephus wrote that there were
- 9:46over a million Jewish people slaughtered in that city at that
- 9:50time. It was destroyed.
- 9:52He took basically the population that was left back to the slave
- 9:56markets of Rome and sold them into the nations of the world.
- 10:0065 years later, in 135 AD, the Emperor Hadrian came and
- 10:04finished the job. He actually ploughed under the
- 10:06city of Jerusalem, destroyed everything else that was
- 10:09remaining. And he was the one that actually
- 10:12renamed that whole region, which we call the Levant today.
- 10:17He renamed that region Syria, Palestina.
- 10:20So that's where you get the name Palestine from it.
- 10:22So it comes from a Roman general in 135 AD by the name of
- 10:26Hadrian. So the people were scattered
- 10:29into the nations of the world. Now God said in his prophetic
- 10:32word that they would be scattered firstly, but then a
- 10:36time would come when he would bring them back from the nations
- 10:38of the world. And this is what we've been
- 10:41seeing in the last 75 years of Israel's history since it was
- 10:45declared a nation in 1948. Again, Jews from every nation
- 10:50under the sun are coming back to Israel.
- 10:52God is bringing them from the north, the South, the east and
- 10:54the West. So all these people that are in
- 10:57Israel today, you can't say that they're not Jews because this is
- 11:02God prophetically bringing these people back, granted in
- 11:07unbelief, many of them back into the land in fulfilment of the
- 11:11prophetic word of God. So to turn around as a Christian
- 11:14and say these aren't Jews, well, where are the Jews coming from?
- 11:18If they don't come from the nations of the world, If these
- 11:21aren't the people that God said he would bring back in the last
- 11:25days, where are they going to come from?
- 11:28You know, it defeats the logic. You're trying to say, well,
- 11:31these aren't Jews. Well, where are they?
- 11:32Where are the Jews then if these aren't the people?
- 11:36So, you know, you got to say as Christians, come on, pull your
- 11:39head in. This is the regathering that God
- 11:43prophesied in His Word, and I could quote scripture after
- 11:46scripture after scripture on that.
- 11:48Could you give us a could you give us the scripture where it
- 11:51says just for a so, yeah, where it says that God will scatter
- 11:58his people just one or two whatever, and and also that he
- 12:04will, he will gather. I mean, obviously a lot of
- 12:07people know about, you know, the Ezekiel prophecy in that I I
- 12:11think that might be one of them. But yeah, if is there anything
- 12:13else that where he specifically says, hey, I'm going to scatter
- 12:17my people. And I think it it, it happened
- 12:20twice. Doesn't isn't that correct?
- 12:23Is that correct? Well there was a 70 year exile
- 12:28when Jerusalem was destroyed in 592 BC by the Babylonians.
- 12:32Yep. So they went away for 70 years
- 12:33out of the land. And that was that was part.
- 12:37Yeah, that was prophesied. You can go through the book of
- 12:39Joel and, and Nahum and all those prophets that talk about,
- 12:43you know, the coming destruction, Habakkuk, the
- 12:45prophet Habakkuk, but that was only for 70 years.
- 12:48And then it was prophesied in Jeremiah that they'd actually
- 12:50returned after 70 years and rebuild Jerusalem in Judea.
- 12:55The other time that they're being taken out was, as I said
- 12:58in 70AD and 135AD by these Romans who basically destroyed
- 13:03the land and renamed it, took Israel into captivity.
- 13:07So if you want to look for where it's prophesied, you can go back
- 13:11to the book of Deuteronomy, Deuteronomy chapter 28.
- 13:16Now, if you read the story in Deuteronomy chapter 28, Moses
- 13:21has the children of Israel on the border of the Promised Land.
- 13:26After they left Egypt, they'd been wandering for 40 years.
- 13:29Now as they're preparing to go into the Promised Land, Moses
- 13:33basically gets them together and he gives them a pep talk and he
- 13:36goes through all these things that God has done for them and
- 13:39what God's going to do. And see in, in Deuteronomy
- 13:43chapter 28, he, he lays out, he says, look, if you do this, if
- 13:48you obey God, if you honour God, he's going to give you this
- 13:52land. He's going to bless you in the
- 13:54city. He's going to bless you in the
- 13:55country. Your crops are going to be
- 13:57blessed, your families are going to be blessed.
- 13:59And he goes through this really big long list of blessings in
- 14:02Deuteronomy 28. OK, now halfway through the
- 14:06chapter, he then turns it around and he says, but if you disobey
- 14:11God and dishonour God and go against God and do this and this
- 14:15and this, he says, God's going to curse you.
- 14:19And he goes through a a really long list of curses.
- 14:22God's going to curse your land. He's going to curse your
- 14:24animals. He's going to curse your
- 14:25families. He's going to curse your cities.
- 14:27He's going to curse. And then at the end of
- 14:29Deuteronomy, in verses right up around verse, we're gonna verses
- 14:3564 to 68, God says, And then if you're still in your sin and
- 14:41rebellion, I'm gonna take you out of this land and I'm gonna
- 14:45scatter you into the nations of the world.
- 14:48I'm just gonna, I'm just gonna bring this this up.
- 14:50Sorry. I'm sorry to interrupt you.
- 14:51I'll just bring this up just so we can.
- 14:53Yeah, Deuteronomy 28. Deuteronomy 28, and that's 64
- 14:58I've got. So this is I think new King
- 15:02James Version. I've just got it up on Bible
- 15:04Gateway for people looking at this.
- 15:06Look what it says. It says the Lord will scatter
- 15:09you among all peoples from one end of the earth to the other,
- 15:12and you'll serve other gods, neither you nor your father's
- 15:14now wooden stone. And among those nations you'll
- 15:17find no rest. Hey, this has been the plight of
- 15:19the Jewish people for the last 2000 years.
- 15:22They've been living among the nations, but it hasn't been
- 15:25their homeland. They've been persecuted.
- 15:28They've been you have a look at verse 66.
- 15:30Your your life. You're hanging doubt before you.
- 15:32You shall fear day and night and have no assurance of life in the
- 15:36morning you'll say, oh, that evening and evening.
- 15:38You say, oh, oh, that it was morning.
- 15:40And the picture is that in those nations where God scattered you,
- 15:44you're never going to find peace.
- 15:46You're never going to find, you know, the security that you've
- 15:49been looking for. You're always going to be
- 15:50haunted. You're always going to be the
- 15:52object of people scorn and ridicule.
- 15:55And this was prophesied even as Israel had left Egypt and were
- 15:59ready to go into the promised land.
- 16:02So that's how far back this prophecy goes.
- 16:05And look what happens. They come into the promised land
- 16:08under Joshua. They serve God.
- 16:10God begins to give them all the land that he promised to their
- 16:13fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
- 16:15And then what happens? They go off the rails and they
- 16:18begin to serve the foreign bows and the foreign gods.
- 16:21And then God's prophetic word kicks in and he sends them
- 16:25judges to try and bring them back.
- 16:26He sends them prophets. And this goes on and on for
- 16:29generations. And they they don't listen.
- 16:32And so finally, as we just read there in Deuteronomy 2864, God
- 16:37scatters them into the nations of the world.
- 16:40And this happened through the events of 7018 when the Roman
- 16:43general came in. And 135 S prophetically, there's
- 16:48your scriptures to say I'm going to scatter you into the nations
- 16:51of the world. And that's what happened.
- 16:54That's fact, that's history. You can't deny that.
- 16:57So for the last 2000 years, they've been in all the nations
- 17:01of the world. You'll find them in China,
- 17:03you'll find them in Japan, you'll find them in India,
- 17:05you'll find them in Australia, you'll find them everywhere.
- 17:08The Jew is everywhere. But in 1948, what happens?
- 17:13The nation of Israel is reestablished again, and then
- 17:16God starts to bring them home. That's what I that's what I was
- 17:21saying to people who say these aren't real Jews.
- 17:23Well, where are they then? God's already begun to bring
- 17:27them home since 1948. Now let me just give you some
- 17:31scriptures that talk about that. The book of Amos, Chapter 9,
- 17:37verses 14 to 15. I'll read it for you even while
- 17:40you're looking for it. There.
- 17:42God says I will restore the fortunes of my people, Israel,
- 17:47and they shall rebuild the ruined cities and inhabit them.
- 17:51I will plant them upon their land and they shall never again
- 17:54be plucked up out of the land which I have given them, says
- 17:58the Lord your God. There's a promise saying that
- 18:01God's going to restore them. They're going to rebuild all
- 18:03their ancient cities. And God says then I'm not, I'm
- 18:06not going to pluck you up again. So I don't care what Iran says.
- 18:09Yeah, we're going to wipe these out.
- 18:10I don't care what the so called Palestinians or any other
- 18:14enemies of Israel say we're going to take the land from the
- 18:17river to the sea. Israel will be Palestine will be
- 18:19free. That's that is such a lie
- 18:22because God has said there, you know, you'll never be plucked up
- 18:26from the the land again. You see that in verse 15.
- 18:31I will plant them in their land and no longer shall they be
- 18:34pulled up from the land which I've given them.
- 18:36So there's the promise of God. So what you're seeing today, the
- 18:40enemies of Israel trying to displace them from the land.
- 18:43It won't happen because God says never again.
- 18:46Now we didn't say they wouldn't suffer persecution, they
- 18:50wouldn't suffer from their enemies having a go at them.
- 18:53But he said I'll never pluck you up from the land again.
- 18:55So they Israel's in the land to stay.
- 18:59That's only one scripture. Yeah.
- 19:01Can I give you one more? Yeah, sure.
- 19:04Jeremiah chapter 30 verse three says this.
- 19:08Well, behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, that I
- 19:11will bring back from captivity my people, Israel and Judah,
- 19:14says the Lord, And I will cause them to return to the land that
- 19:18I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it.
- 19:22These are these are the promises of God.
- 19:24And this is what we've seen since the 14th of May 1948, when
- 19:30Israel became a nation again. God is restoring his people just
- 19:34as he said he would. So that's why all the Jews are
- 19:38returning back to Israel. And they've been doing that now.
- 19:40And from 1948 of a population of 800,000 Jews, you've got 13
- 19:46million people today in just 7075 years.
- 19:50Yeah, that's the hand of God. And and we know that and we know
- 19:55so this Jeremiah, when he's saying this, we know that this
- 19:59is talking about the the second time that Israel were cast doubt
- 20:04were scattered. Because the second time was when
- 20:08the whole it says here that and these are the words that Lord
- 20:13spoken concerned Israel and Judah.
- 20:18So in my people Israel and Judah.
- 20:20So it was the second time when they were scattered worldwide
- 20:24that it was Israel and Judah that was scattered.
- 20:26Is that correct? Is that why we know that this?
- 20:28Is before the Babylonians invaded Israel in five, I think
- 20:34it was 596 or 592 BC before they invaded Israel.
- 20:40You know that Israel was divided between the northern Kingdom and
- 20:44the southern Kingdom. That happened under rebound, the
- 20:47son of Solomon, 10 tribes went north and two tribes, the tribe
- 20:52of Juror and Benjamin, remained in the South.
- 20:54So you had Israel in the north and Judah in the South.
- 20:58It was still Israel, but it was divided between Israel and
- 21:01Judah. Now the 10 northern tribes,
- 21:05before Judah was taken to Babylonian, the 10 northern
- 21:08tribes were conquered by the Assyrian Empire and they were
- 21:12taken back to the Assyrian Empire, which included Nineveh.
- 21:16And then God destroys Nineveh and then the Babylonians rise to
- 21:22world dominance. And it was the Babylonians who
- 21:24came and took Judah, the southern part now back to
- 21:29Babylon in exile. So Israel had already, the
- 21:33northern tent tribes had already gone into exile years and years,
- 21:36100 odd years before the southern part.
- 21:40And they weren't world exiles, They were just, you know, the
- 21:43world empires at the time. So this second one under the
- 21:48Romans was a worldwide scattering.
- 21:51They sold them to, you know, slave traders from all over the
- 21:55world. So that's why you find Jews in
- 21:56India Today, and in Australia and every nation under the sun.
- 22:02So they actually sold them. They actually.
- 22:05Sold them slaves. Yeah, and that's what women's
- 22:07will do. And that's what that other
- 22:08verse. Sorry, I've forgotten where we
- 22:11were. Yeah.
- 22:11Deuteronomy 28. Yeah, it's said that they will
- 22:14sell you a slaves. You read the whole lot, not just
- 22:18the verses week, right, but read all of Deuteronomy.
- 22:20You'll see exactly that's what it says you'll be sold, your
- 22:23children will be slaves. You, you, you will live in these
- 22:25nations. You'll you won't have peace.
- 22:28You won't have well that was prophesied and that's what's
- 22:31happened. But and it's always but with
- 22:34God, God said I'll bring you back.
- 22:36There'll come a time where I'm going to bring you back.
- 22:39I'm going to re establish you and you're going to rebuild all
- 22:41those ancient cities and that's what they've done today.
- 22:44That's what we're seeing and and that is the sign itself in the
- 22:48soon coming of Jesus Christ because he said when he comes
- 22:51back, he's coming back to the rule and reign in Jerusalem and
- 22:55there has to be a Jewish nation there.
- 22:57And it hasn't been for 2000 years.
- 22:59Yeah. So since 1948.
- 23:01So this is we're living in exciting times.
- 23:03This is what we're witnessing. Is the amazing prophetic word of
- 23:07God coming true? Yeah.
- 23:09That, that is amazing. So OK, so that's awesome because
- 23:13I really want to do exactly what you just did talk about like
- 23:17prove show how this is what the Bible says and this is what has
- 23:20happened. So I suppose what does this mean
- 23:25for what's happening now and with the war, you know, and
- 23:28there was some some things that happened really recently.
- 23:31Obviously we've had October 7th happened here in Australia.
- 23:35We have all these people like Lydia Thorpe, the suppose an
- 23:39Aboriginal woman standing up saying hey, indigenous people
- 23:41and Palestinians, we're all the same now.
- 23:43And you know, it's Aboriginal land, whatever that quote is.
- 23:47And then from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free
- 23:51because we're all together because Israel is, you know,
- 23:56Israel. What what do you call Israel's
- 23:59just apartheid, some apartheid system.
- 24:03But when you look at what the Bible's saying, what you've
- 24:05shown us this morning, that means that's all their hopes for
- 24:11defeating Israel. It's not going to happen.
- 24:14Like the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.
- 24:17It's just not going to occur. If the Bible is true, that is.
- 24:20That's what it's saying. Exactly.
- 24:23If the Bible is true, Israel will never ever be uprooted and
- 24:29destroyed from that land. Doesn't matter who tries,
- 24:33they'll never be defeated. Can I just address something
- 24:37that you just mentioned there with Lydia Thorpe and all these,
- 24:41these crazy people? What she's been basically saying
- 24:45in others are being saying that Australian indigenous people
- 24:50here and the Palestinians are in the same boat.
- 24:54They're basically saying that Israel is a colonial power, just
- 24:58like the white people are colonials.
- 25:00OK, Now I know this centres into the political realm, OK, but let
- 25:05me just put put the facts on the ground.
- 25:09The aboriginal indigenous people of Australia have more in common
- 25:13with Israel than they do with the Palestinians.
- 25:16One, the land belonged to Israel.
- 25:19It never ever belonged to a people group called the
- 25:23Palestinians. It never, ever belonged to the
- 25:27Arabs. It was given to the Jewish
- 25:29people by God himself through Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, who
- 25:35destroyed and displaced an evil group of people called the
- 25:39Canaanites, who are a godless race that don't exist anymore.
- 25:44So the land belongs to Israel. But who is the colonialist?
- 25:50Those people who have come in since 1948 and 67 claiming that
- 25:55there are people group called the Palestinians who have lived
- 25:57there forever, which they never have.
- 25:59There's never been a Palestinian state, never was, never a
- 26:02culture or language. So the colonialists are the
- 26:06Palestinians. So Lydia thought's trying to
- 26:10say, well, the indigenous people, you know, we're the same
- 26:13as the Palestinians because we're controlled by these
- 26:15colonials. No, the colonialists are the
- 26:18Palestinians who are trying to take Israel's land.
- 26:20So Israel has more in common with the indigenous people.
- 26:25And, you know, the Palestinians want to say, oh, it's occupied
- 26:28land. It's occupied land, yeah, it's
- 26:30occupied by Palestinians who it was never given to.
- 26:34Now that's a biblical understanding, but with
- 26:37political ramifications. So when they say, you know, from
- 26:41the river of the sea, Palestine will be free.
- 26:43Now from the river to the sea, Israel will be free because it's
- 26:48Israel's land. So just addressing another
- 26:52political thing, which you might get a lot of feedback from, but,
- 26:55you know, Israel has more in common with the indigenous
- 26:58people of this land. So Lydia Thorpe's crazy.
- 27:02She can't say that. And she's got no understanding,
- 27:05no idea of history or her facts. So I forgot what we're talking
- 27:10about before. So the implications are, you
- 27:16know, what we're seeing today is, is very much a political
- 27:20thing. It's it's totally ignoring the
- 27:22spiritual and biblical understanding of the situation,
- 27:26which is where I'm coming from. I'm not going to argue the
- 27:30political point because she will get diverse opinions, everyone's
- 27:35opinion, that's fine. But you want to argue with it
- 27:38biblically, we'll argue with God.
- 27:41It's in his word. We're going to have to wrap
- 27:45things up. We're just running out of time.
- 27:47But that's exactly what I wanted to say is, is point out, hey,
- 27:50this is it's a biblical thing. This is and there's no way
- 27:54whatever Iran declares, whatever these people, the Palestinian
- 28:00people declare, it's, it's just not going to occur.
- 28:02And it's because this is what the Bible says.
- 28:05That's it. And I think that's important for
- 28:08anyone that wants to argue, argue about it and put these,
- 28:11like you said, these political arguments forward.
- 28:14I want to thank you again for joining us today.
- 28:18Yeah, it's been great talking to you.
- 28:20And I will try not to make it so long next time.
