- 0:05Speaker 1: We are so happy you're here because you actually decided
- 0:08Speaker 1: to listen.
- 0:08Speaker 2: So thanks everybody. Okay, that was good, but I'm not
- 0:12Speaker 2: gonna lie. Guys. She did one a minute ago. That
- 0:15Speaker 2: was better. I think it was. We're so happy you're
- 0:19Speaker 2: here because you listened because you wanted to.
- 0:22Speaker 1: Oh you know what, there you go either way, you say,
- 0:25Speaker 1: I still, we're happy you're here.
- 0:28Speaker 2: Should we say who we got who? Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 0:30Speaker 2: that's Danielle and we've got Jackie, Hannah and Emma. And
- 0:35Speaker 2: I never like to say my own name, but I'm Amy.
- 0:37Speaker 2: I hate my name is so no. I love your name, Amy, sugarman. Look,
- 0:40Speaker 2: if you were born in nineteen seventy four, you probably
- 0:42Speaker 2: have the same name. But after that, nope, I swear that's.
- 0:46Speaker 1: Like if you're thirty in your name Vanessa.
- 0:48Speaker 2: Yeah, of course you.
- 0:49Speaker 1: Are, totally.
- 0:53Speaker 2: I like the names now. They's so much like cooler, yeah,
- 0:56Speaker 2: and like unique and hip and whatever. Although like so
- 1:00Speaker 2: names to bring back, like Betty and a Stelle.
- 1:02Speaker 1: They are people are bringing back, like like Winnie and
- 1:06Speaker 1: bring back all the golden girls' names.
- 1:08Speaker 2: Blanche Rose.
- 1:10Speaker 1: There's a lot of rose, and there's a lot of bland,
- 1:13Speaker 1: those are names.
- 1:14Speaker 2: Now Blanche is back.
- 1:15Speaker 1: Yes, I know a kid named Blanche, respective of someone's
- 1:19Speaker 1: dog name Blanche.
- 1:21Speaker 2: Speaking of people with the same name, yeah, I know
- 1:24Speaker 2: people never like to be named after the dog, but
- 1:25Speaker 2: it's there's nothing you can do. Everyone's dog is named something.
- 1:28Speaker 2: Speaking of people the same names, I need you guys
- 1:31Speaker 2: to break this down, but please don't. Don't make it
- 1:34Speaker 2: hard on me. Alex Cooper Alex Earl. First of all,
- 1:39Speaker 2: the fact that they have the same name makes the
- 1:40Speaker 2: whole thing super complicated. I want to call her aliks
- 1:44Speaker 2: because so let's just use the full names for this
- 1:48Speaker 2: so we can keep it straight. I need you to
- 1:50Speaker 2: tell me what's going on. Why is everyone so invested?
- 1:53Speaker 2: Here's what I know. Alex Cooper's got the podcast Call
- 1:56Speaker 2: Her Daddy. Alex Earl also had a podcast. She was
- 1:59Speaker 2: on Dancing with a Star. She's real cute and I watch
- 2:02Speaker 2: her get Ready with Me is for Coachella, right, I
- 2:06Speaker 2: know there was some drama years ago. They worked together
- 2:10Speaker 2: and they did it. They not work together, and to
- 2:14Speaker 2: fill in those gaps, really, let's start with that. Yeah.
- 2:16Speaker 1: So, Alex Cooper has a podcast network called Unwell YEP.
- 2:21Speaker 1: One of the very first people Alex Cooper signed to
- 2:24Speaker 1: her network was Alex Earl. So Alex Earl's podcast was
- 2:29Speaker 1: on Unwell network.
- 2:30Speaker 2: Got it.
- 2:31Speaker 1: So they were do you consider that business partners? They
- 2:34Speaker 1: were in business to business together. Yeah.
- 2:37Speaker 2: Right.
- 2:38Speaker 1: Then one day Alex Earl posts on Instagram saying I'm
- 2:42Speaker 1: no longer doing my podcast. You know, I'll come back
- 2:46Speaker 1: one day whatever, something along those lines.
- 2:48Speaker 2: So she separated from Alex Cooper and the tea was
- 2:52Speaker 2: it was dramatic, there was some falling out.
- 2:55Speaker 1: And so cut to Alex Earl does an interview and
- 2:58Speaker 1: the person asked her about Alex Cooper and Unwell and
- 3:02Speaker 1: she alludes to the fact that behind the scenes she
- 3:05Speaker 1: made a very short comment that, oh, you know, behind
- 3:08Speaker 1: the scenes, it's a little crazy.
- 3:10Speaker 2: Did she say crazy or messy?
- 3:12Speaker 3: That was behind the scenes a little bit of a
- 3:14Speaker 3: hot mess, she responded in a Wall Street Journal interview,
- 3:18Speaker 3: And that was the only sentence she had.
- 3:20Speaker 2: Okay, fair enough, all right.
- 3:22Speaker 1: What which isn't that bad? It was not a bad
- 3:26Speaker 1: thing to say. It's not a nice thing to say,
- 3:28Speaker 1: but it's not that I'm not bad. But if I
- 3:31Speaker 1: said about you, Daniel's a hot mess, Yes, I am ma'am.
- 3:35Speaker 2: Yes, I know me too. I'd be like, thank you,
- 3:38Speaker 2: I am. That's what it's like. Okay, But anyway, so
- 3:40Speaker 2: then I express and then what happened is Alex Earle.
- 3:46Speaker 1: This is where I guess you can say she went
- 3:48Speaker 1: a little shady, where you know, she was liking and
- 3:51Speaker 1: commenting on things that were negative towards Alex Cooper.
- 3:54Speaker 2: Obviously they don't care for each other, right.
- 3:57Speaker 1: Obviously there's some they're not they're not getting brunch, they're
- 4:01Speaker 1: not you know, they're not effs.
- 4:05Speaker 2: On update, her podcast still exists, continue make sure new
- 4:09Speaker 2: episodes are posting. So yeah, so that's where this is
- 4:15Speaker 2: all stemmed from.
- 4:16Speaker 1: Now, okay, the you know gasoline went on the fire
- 4:20Speaker 1: was when Alex Cooper did a video saying saw this
- 4:25Speaker 1: right where she's just like, I don't I don't have
- 4:28Speaker 1: this is fake. I don't have drama with Alex Earle,
- 4:31Speaker 1: like this is fake, fake, fake fake fake. Please Alex Earl,
- 4:34Speaker 1: please please tell us all what happened, because I know
- 4:37Speaker 1: what happened.
- 4:37Speaker 2: I know the truth, So.
- 4:39Speaker 1: Tell us essentially mocking her being like, there's this is
- 4:43Speaker 1: a nothing burger? What are you talking about? And then
- 4:46Speaker 1: Alex Earle comments in under the video and goes okay
- 4:50Speaker 1: on it.
- 4:51Speaker 2: Like okay, okay, that's a little mic droppy, all right, sure, sure, sure.
- 4:58Speaker 1: And yeah, I mean and And since then, Alex hasn't
- 5:00Speaker 1: said anything about it, like I think she's prepping what.
- 5:03Speaker 3: She's wait, but she did post yesterday on when that
- 5:07Speaker 3: the video of her ye waking up the next day
- 5:11Speaker 3: Coachella of True getting the news and her friend's showing
- 5:15Speaker 3: her that Alex Cooper video and she's like waking up
- 5:18Speaker 3: in bed and she thought, oh is this is this
- 5:20Speaker 3: supposed to be funny? And then she reacted and she laughed.
- 5:23Speaker 3: Afterwards she said, this just made my day.
- 5:25Speaker 1: Yes, So that's the only thing she's posted, But she
- 5:27Speaker 1: hasn't said anything on the case, like this is why
- 5:30Speaker 1: I don't like Alex Cooper. She has not done that yet.
- 5:32Speaker 1: I think she is ruminating on it and is going
- 5:35Speaker 1: to do something big to reveal whatever Alex Cooper did.
- 5:39Speaker 2: So I so badly wanted to care about this and yeah, no, no, no.
- 5:42Speaker 1: Keep caring because this is a big deal. Keep caring.
- 5:44Speaker 2: Now that I'm the more I'm hearing, the less I'm caring.
- 5:46Speaker 2: But now you got to keep keep trying, keep trying.
- 5:49Speaker 3: There's one more person that jumped in and literally an
- 5:53Speaker 3: hour ago posted a video Brianna chicken Fry Papa.
- 5:57Speaker 2: I know her from uh Special Forces.
- 6:00Speaker 4: Alex Earle's friend.
- 6:02Speaker 3: So Alex Cooper posted an Instagram story today with the
- 6:07Speaker 3: dms with with Chicken Fry.
- 6:10Speaker 4: That call her chicken Fry.
- 6:13Speaker 3: Yeah that was silly, but them having like niceties and
- 6:18Speaker 3: all that. And then Brianna posted said I only have
- 6:22Speaker 3: those dms with you because that was before I found
- 6:24Speaker 3: out how you really are, that you are just a
- 6:27Speaker 3: mean girl and all that.
- 6:28Speaker 2: So was the mean girl Brianna chicken Fries saying, oh
- 6:31Speaker 2: freaking Cooper, she's mean girl energy.
- 6:34Speaker 1: Dude, this is this smells mean girl energy. Brianna chicken Fries. Yeah,
- 6:40Speaker 1: she inserted herself into this drama that she did not
- 6:42Speaker 1: need to be a part of. But like whatever, fine,
- 6:46Speaker 1: uh whatever, Cooper, Like, I look, I get I get
- 6:51Speaker 1: being on the side where you're like, there's no drama.
- 6:53Speaker 1: Why are you making this a big deal? But obviously
- 6:55Speaker 1: the other person is hurt and has beef with you,
- 6:58Speaker 1: So what she's doing right now is.
- 7:00Speaker 2: Well, she fired her up. I just don't care to.
- 7:04Speaker 1: Tell you can tell Cooper is a mean girl. It's
- 7:07Speaker 1: a bold Statement's girl, I hope you're not a mean girl,
- 7:10Speaker 1: but your actions right now are really showing that you are.
- 7:14Speaker 2: Okay, that's my opinion. Explain to me so okay, I
- 7:18Speaker 2: don't want to care. I I tried to care, and
- 7:23Speaker 2: now I'm like, oh, this is brutal. Explain to me
- 7:26Speaker 2: why you all care so much.
- 7:29Speaker 1: I'll say for myself, I care because it is Alex
- 7:33Speaker 1: Cooper and Alex Earl obviously to them female women in
- 7:37Speaker 1: the podcast, in spacelash, social influencer space, so whatever in
- 7:41Speaker 1: the zeitgeist, very big women. Right now, they're just totally
- 7:46Speaker 1: dogging on each other.
- 7:47Speaker 2: It sucks, like I feel like they're subtly dogging on
- 7:50Speaker 2: each other. There's I think there's subtle.
- 7:52Speaker 1: I think a girl was doing subtle, and I think
- 7:55Speaker 1: Cooper is like slamm and slamming the lid.
- 7:59Speaker 2: Could could you? Could you argue? Alex Earl started it
- 8:02Speaker 2: by saying it's messy hot, messy over there. I don't know.
- 8:05Speaker 1: I guess, yeah, yeah, yeah, sure sure, And how did
- 8:09Speaker 1: chicken fry get in the mix? Then I think it's irrelevant.
- 8:12Speaker 1: I think chicken Fry is irrelevant to this right now.
- 8:15Speaker 1: But yeah, but but Cooper's just.
- 8:18Speaker 2: Been how many people care about this?
- 8:21Speaker 5: Like?
- 8:21Speaker 2: Do a lot of people care? I do?
- 8:24Speaker 4: Yeah, I do for the same reasons as Daniel.
- 8:27Speaker 2: Is this like us magazine lead story or No? No?
- 8:31Speaker 2: I think so for sure.
- 8:32Speaker 1: Yeah, And I feel like you probably care the most
- 8:36Speaker 1: out of all of us. Me. No, Emma, I completely care.
- 8:41Speaker 5: Alex is my Alex Earl's my age, and I feel
- 8:45Speaker 5: like she is probably taking a stand because her popularity
- 8:51Speaker 5: sense Leaving Unwell has grown and it's captivated more audience
- 8:55Speaker 5: members in a different way than Alex Cooper's has. Okay,
- 8:59Speaker 5: they formed opinion is about Alex Cooper being someone that
- 9:04Speaker 5: wants to be there to tell your story after you're
- 9:06Speaker 5: so vulnerable and raw, And people don't like her interview
- 9:10Speaker 5: style or the way that she handles her guests. And
- 9:13Speaker 5: I think people praise alex Earl because she is kind
- 9:17Speaker 5: to all of her fans and is different and she's
- 9:21Speaker 5: kind of taking a stand to like the matriarch of
- 9:25Speaker 5: female fe male power.
- 9:28Speaker 2: Yeah, what happened to the person that was on the
- 9:31Speaker 2: podcast with alex A. Cooper when it started?
- 9:34Speaker 4: What has she has?
- 9:36Speaker 2: She joined the chat as they say for bringing that up.
- 9:38Speaker 1: So you know she has not entered the chat that
- 9:41Speaker 1: I know of someone, right, Is that true?
- 9:47Speaker 2: Tana Tana Mojo? Is she a part of this?
- 9:51Speaker 1: There is a ton of manga now whatever. I know
- 9:53Speaker 1: who you're talking about.
- 9:57Speaker 2: No, Sophia, but that that also just shows you.
- 9:59Speaker 1: Right, they had a massive they had a massive falling
- 10:03Speaker 1: out and like kind of was like, hey, I'm sorry
- 10:07Speaker 1: that happened to you, but I'm going to continue this.
- 10:09Speaker 1: Like that is to her b f F that she
- 10:13Speaker 1: started all of this with. She just burned her to
- 10:15Speaker 1: the ground and was like, sorry, dude, I'm going to
- 10:17Speaker 1: keep doing this, like totally didn't link arms with her
- 10:21Speaker 1: best friend on it and and and left her in
- 10:23Speaker 1: the dust.
- 10:24Speaker 2: That sucks.
- 10:25Speaker 1: That sucks.
- 10:26Speaker 3: And Sophia is releasing a tell all book about everything, and.
- 10:32Speaker 4: Of like her and Sophia.
- 10:34Speaker 2: No oh the iconic. You haven't made it in Hollywood
- 10:39Speaker 2: until you've got a tear down your photo with someone, Yeah,
- 10:44Speaker 2: okay released.
- 10:46Speaker 5: People used to.
- 10:49Speaker 2: Care about any of this, and I feel like I
- 10:52Speaker 2: do want you to care because this is a big
- 10:54Speaker 2: story right now, it really really is. And it's me
- 10:57Speaker 2: I'm supposed to just care that a bunch of girls
- 10:59Speaker 2: are me do each other. I know I can't. I
- 11:02Speaker 2: can't do it. It's like from a bird's eye view here,
- 11:05Speaker 2: all I'm seeing is like successful people, beautiful, rich successful
- 11:11Speaker 2: people be nasty, and I don't see it that way.
- 11:15Speaker 1: I see it as alpha girl putting down beta girl.
- 11:21Speaker 1: Like does that make sense? Trying to alpha and al
- 11:24Speaker 1: it's just trying to contain, contain Earl and and shover
- 11:28Speaker 1: a new one.
- 11:29Speaker 2: And I just watched her get ready for Coachella and
- 11:31Speaker 2: I was like, grout accessorizing. She just kept throwing things
- 11:34Speaker 2: on and throwing things on, and I kept thinking, well,
- 11:36Speaker 2: that's working, that's working, that's working. I don't know.
- 11:40Speaker 1: I was LIKEX, Earl, I support you, I love you.
- 11:44Speaker 2: Keep making out with Tom Brady.
- 11:45Speaker 1: I'm here for you if you ever need a shoulder
- 11:48Speaker 1: to cry on.
- 11:49Speaker 2: I think I like the giggly squad girls. Love giggly
- 11:52Speaker 2: squad girls. I think I like those girls.
- 11:54Speaker 1: Yeah, they're fun, They're really fun.
- 11:56Speaker 2: I'm into them.
- 11:57Speaker 1: But this this Cooper Earl feed feud just feels very
- 12:03Speaker 1: mean girl.
- 12:04Speaker 2: I yeah, but it is rather interesting to to. I
- 12:08Speaker 2: want to talk about it because I know people care,
- 12:11Speaker 2: but yet I don't care. All right, well let's move on.
- 12:15Speaker 2: What I care about is definitely talking about menopause today,
- 12:18Speaker 2: but I won't do that right now. Did you follow
- 12:22Speaker 2: the space thing land? Yes? I did.
- 12:26Speaker 1: I I'm not gonna lie I I I don't cry
- 12:31Speaker 1: at like beautiful stories like I'm not.
- 12:34Speaker 2: Like a like a like I cry like anything. And
- 12:38Speaker 2: and this was so touching when they landed, Like what
- 12:42Speaker 2: part did you love? Every single part from the wife
- 12:47Speaker 2: that passed away?
- 12:48Speaker 1: Pretty pretty after all the videos about how joy like
- 12:53Speaker 1: going to space makes them realize what's important and how
- 12:57Speaker 1: to find joy and like all that kind of stuff
- 12:59Speaker 1: too when were actually rescued and not rescued but you know,
- 13:03Speaker 1: recover is that the world?
- 13:04Speaker 2: I mean from that bobbing thing in the ocean.
- 13:06Speaker 1: You know, like extracted or whatever you want to talk, you'd.
- 13:10Speaker 2: Think we'd have a better system there. I agree with
- 13:13Speaker 2: that we sent these people to the moon, but yet
- 13:16Speaker 2: were bobbing them on balloons with like an escape door,
- 13:20Speaker 2: like it's Apollo thirteen. I was like, I've seen this
- 13:22Speaker 2: movie with Tom Hanks, Like this is exact same thing
- 13:24Speaker 2: one hundred years later, not really one hundred but like
- 13:26Speaker 2: fifty and then I did think it was kind of
- 13:30Speaker 2: bad ass that the helicopters came and got them, but
- 13:32Speaker 2: like bringing them up one at a time, like what's what?
- 13:38Speaker 2: You don't like to think.
- 13:39Speaker 1: Soup sufficient to me? But whatever, what are you thinking about?
- 13:43Speaker 1: When they were extracting them, I was like, who picks?
- 13:46Speaker 1: Like who gets to go first? And also I do
- 13:49Speaker 1: not want to be the last one, because I don't know.
- 13:52Speaker 2: That's why I thought some other people had jumped down
- 13:54Speaker 2: to join. I don't know they did, but that's stressful
- 13:57Speaker 2: to me. I just how about when you were one
- 13:58Speaker 2: of those miners stuff, those miners that get stuck, stuck, stuck,
- 14:02Speaker 2: and they have to figure out a way to get
- 14:04Speaker 2: the last guy out. You're like, what if this goes wrong?
- 14:09Speaker 2: It's or the last guy going up that little tube
- 14:12Speaker 2: the size of a straw. The minor ones and the
- 14:16Speaker 2: soccer team, remember them, the soccer team. First of all,
- 14:21Speaker 2: that chip Artemis very small, very very small. Why so small?
- 14:29Speaker 2: Because I mean it can't be massive. It's going breaking
- 14:32Speaker 2: Earth's atmosphere. When they didn't even land on the Moon,
- 14:35Speaker 2: they just went up to take some photos, like what's happening?
- 14:37Speaker 2: They went around on the dark side of the movie.
- 14:40Speaker 2: I know, I know. I love the dark set of
- 14:42Speaker 2: the moon, like the movies, all the movies like We're
- 14:46Speaker 2: gonna lose calms and we're gonna go swinging around. I'm like,
- 14:51Speaker 2: all right, do you feel like you're a nerd about this? Like,
- 14:54Speaker 2: tell me, oh, Jackie went to see it land, you guys.
- 14:59Speaker 3: I would to go to the coast Sunset cliffs here
- 15:02Speaker 3: because I live in San Diego. So I was like, Oh,
- 15:04Speaker 3: they're gonna land, maybe I can see them, and maybe
- 15:06Speaker 3: I can see the balloons.
- 15:07Speaker 2: And then do you see anything?
- 15:09Speaker 3: No, we're walking, we were driving to like we're out there.
- 15:17Speaker 4: Yes, it's only like twenty minutes from Could.
- 15:19Speaker 2: You see anything in the sky?
- 15:21Speaker 4: No?
- 15:22Speaker 1: No, do you guys see like the videos of people
- 15:25Speaker 1: on planes being.
- 15:26Speaker 2: Like look at the rocket like that.
- 15:30Speaker 4: It's so jalous. That's pretty well, like I'm nerding out
- 15:33Speaker 4: all this.
- 15:33Speaker 3: I love Moonjoy, you know that little like, yeah, hugging
- 15:37Speaker 3: picture of them and Moonjoy.
- 15:38Speaker 2: Wait, what's Moonjoy? Where?
- 15:40Speaker 1: Oh?
- 15:40Speaker 2: Where they're all hugging in the ship in the ship? Yeah,
- 15:43Speaker 2: at zero gravity?
- 15:45Speaker 4: Yeah, And I.
- 15:46Speaker 3: Knew exactly where we went to park and all that,
- 15:48Speaker 3: and we were at Sunset Cliffs, beautiful cliff side, amazing
- 15:51Speaker 3: place in San Diego. It's near Point Loment, and I
- 15:55Speaker 3: see crowds coming like okay.
- 15:57Speaker 2: Other people too saw the yes, yeah nice. You're all
- 16:00Speaker 2: gathering together.
- 16:02Speaker 3: We're all streaming on our phones watching the YouTube, and
- 16:04Speaker 3: I can hear other people streaming, and then people are
- 16:07Speaker 3: getting their like little ice chests and everything out, and
- 16:09Speaker 3: people are excited.
- 16:11Speaker 4: And then it's like five or six, okay, one minute.
- 16:14Speaker 2: I love Americas. Okay, so you got one minute countdown.
- 16:18Speaker 3: And then I'm like and then everybody's stream is a
- 16:20Speaker 3: little different, yeah, sure, carriers. And then I'm like, it happened,
- 16:26Speaker 3: what happened?
- 16:28Speaker 2: Nothing?
- 16:30Speaker 3: Nothing, because it was cloudy, and I was like, dang it.
- 16:33Speaker 3: And then the next day, sorry, like today is a.
- 16:38Speaker 2: Clear, gorgeous day.
- 16:40Speaker 4: I see it.
- 16:41Speaker 3: But I did see in the distance because it was
- 16:43Speaker 3: about fifty miles off the coast, but I didn't see
- 16:46Speaker 3: some ships out there in the distance, and I was like, oh,
- 16:50Speaker 3: maybe it's gonna be over there, and pointing to one. No,
- 16:52Speaker 3: maybe it's gonna be over there. But everybody kind of
- 16:54Speaker 3: had their phones out and people clapped, but and.
- 16:57Speaker 2: I even they clapped for the YouTube on their phones,
- 16:59Speaker 2: got it and.
- 17:00Speaker 3: We recorded the moment and Eddie, my partner, has a
- 17:03Speaker 3: time try. I'm like, did you guys see anything?
- 17:07Speaker 2: You know, you had a nice effort at it, But okay.
- 17:12Speaker 3: Environment it must be like so I wanted to do it. Yeah,
- 17:15Speaker 3: once in a lifetime. I mean, they say they're going
- 17:17Speaker 3: to go.
- 17:17Speaker 2: I can't imagine that. I was not meant to be
- 17:20Speaker 2: an astronaut. No, oh no, if you go to an
- 17:24Speaker 2: elevator with Jackie, you really would.
- 17:27Speaker 4: I know, math and science.
- 17:30Speaker 1: I love the concept of it, but space scares me.
- 17:33Speaker 1: It actually does terrify me. And so I'm okay here
- 17:37Speaker 1: in the bubble.
- 17:39Speaker 2: We're not in the bubble. Everyone thinks we're you know,
- 17:42Speaker 2: we're on the edge. We're not on it. There's a
- 17:44Speaker 2: bubble whatever. We're within a sphere of some sort.
- 17:48Speaker 1: And I'm happy here.
- 17:50Speaker 2: I'm here. I'm happy. We're not in a sphere. We're
- 17:54Speaker 2: on the outside of the ball. You know that, in
- 17:56Speaker 2: a sphere.
- 17:57Speaker 1: I don't understand what you're saying right now.
- 17:59Speaker 2: There's no we're not in a paradise globe. I think
- 18:02Speaker 2: you like gravity. I like gravity, gravity, Jackie, what were
- 18:06Speaker 2: you gonna say.
- 18:07Speaker 3: Oh, the Mirtha came in on the next day, and
- 18:10Speaker 3: so I was like following a reporter that was like,
- 18:12Speaker 3: we're next to it, the Mirtha.
- 18:14Speaker 4: The ship then.
- 18:17Speaker 3: They hip that got up, Yeah, a spaceship. No, no, no,
- 18:21Speaker 3: the the USS got it. Yes, and it brought back
- 18:26Speaker 3: the Artemis.
- 18:27Speaker 2: Oh the thing. No.
- 18:30Speaker 3: I want to So, if there's anybody out there, Jackie
- 18:35Speaker 3: saw nothing.
- 18:37Speaker 2: I want people to listen if they want to. But
- 18:40Speaker 2: every story is a flopper. Root today it was a total.
- 18:45Speaker 3: It was a total and I but you know what,
- 18:48Speaker 3: I enjoyed the part of it, and it's like at
- 18:50Speaker 3: least we went out there and tried. But yeah, I
- 18:54Speaker 3: just enjoyed the YouTube videos afterwards.
- 19:05Speaker 1: Can I say one more thing that was a flop?
- 19:08Speaker 4: Oh?
- 19:08Speaker 2: Another listen if you want to, guys, this is our
- 19:11Speaker 2: flop of the day, maybe a four or third flop
- 19:13Speaker 2: of the day. But it may be a hot take.
- 19:15Speaker 2: It may and people may not. They make it hot.
- 19:17Speaker 2: Then make it hot, because so far I thought the
- 19:19Speaker 2: Lugano Beach Reunion was a big flopper. Rooney O. I
- 19:23Speaker 2: could have told you. I did. In fact, I did
- 19:26Speaker 2: tell you. Check the tape. I think two episodes ago
- 19:31Speaker 2: or maybe last week, I don't remember. I said, this
- 19:35Speaker 2: is gonna be great promo, great hype, but the actual
- 19:37Speaker 2: thing is going to be a turd.
- 19:40Speaker 1: I fell asleep three times. And this is coming from
- 19:43Speaker 1: Laguna Beach Queen.
- 19:45Speaker 2: I told you this was love.
- 19:47Speaker 1: I will say the first twenty minutes, oh, I was
- 19:51Speaker 1: great to be the best thing ever.
- 19:52Speaker 2: I might cry.
- 19:54Speaker 1: I they're playing clips from the show. I was watching
- 19:57Speaker 1: with my husband because he was a big Lugan beach
- 19:59Speaker 1: person too, and in the beginning we both were like,
- 20:02Speaker 1: oh my god, I remember watching that scene. I remember
- 20:04Speaker 1: what my room looked like in high school. I remember,
- 20:08Speaker 1: like it's it was nostalgic of all those things again.
- 20:11Speaker 1: And then like thirty forty five oles in, I woke up,
- 20:16Speaker 1: worked to my left and my husband was like.
- 20:19Speaker 2: Like, we both were just out out? Was I the
- 20:23Speaker 2: only one, Jackie? You watched it?
- 20:25Speaker 4: I liked it. It brought me back.
- 20:27Speaker 2: What did you like?
- 20:28Speaker 3: I think it was more the memories and the nostalgia
- 20:30Speaker 3: of it rather than like looking back. I guess I
- 20:34Speaker 3: just liked watching them on screen again because it brought
- 20:36Speaker 3: me okay of wanting to move to southern California. From
- 20:40Speaker 3: my small town because I watched this show. This is
- 20:43Speaker 3: one of the reasons the OC and Laguna Beach. I
- 20:46Speaker 3: was like, I want to go to Orange County.
- 20:47Speaker 2: So I finally figured out, Oh, everything I needed to
- 20:51Speaker 2: know in the first three minutes of this thing, because
- 20:53Speaker 2: I was like, why are these guys promoting this so much?
- 20:58Speaker 2: Were they paid one million dollars? Like why are they
- 21:01Speaker 2: just promoting promoting promoting? Why is Lauren Conrad, who doesn't
- 21:04Speaker 2: really like to do stuff, totally doing this, doing Kristen's podcast,
- 21:08Speaker 2: doing the Today Show whatever it was. And then clickie
- 21:12Speaker 2: click on my Roku Cole's ads. Cole's ads were every
- 21:18Speaker 2: single thing and if you paused it, Coles so ah,
- 21:23Speaker 2: light bulb went on and I'm like, oh, they're promoting her,
- 21:26Speaker 2: Lauren Conrad Cole's thing. Can we address that? Like Cole's
- 21:30Speaker 2: is like Dollar Tree where every store was.
- 21:32Speaker 1: Shut down, Like how are they sponsoring this?
- 21:35Speaker 2: Coles has so much money. First of all, Coles has
- 21:39Speaker 2: money because you know that that famous actress does their
- 21:43Speaker 2: commercials too. I can't think of her name right now,
- 21:45Speaker 2: but she's from Kimmy Kimmy the legend of Kimmy Schmidt
- 21:49Speaker 2: come on, come on, help a menopause. Lady out, Ellie
- 21:52Speaker 2: Elli Kemper, Thank you Ellie Kemper. So Coles has some dough.
- 21:56Speaker 2: They put some money into the advertising, and I bet
- 21:58Speaker 2: you people shop at Cole just like TJ Max Home Goods.
- 22:01Speaker 2: Those places are thriving right now. And I bet you
- 22:04Speaker 2: they were like, Hey, Lauren Conrad, we'll keep our partnership
- 22:07Speaker 2: going if you, you know, do this thing, and we're
- 22:11Speaker 2: going to sponsor it. It's a whole collab. Every ad
- 22:14Speaker 2: is Coles, Coss Coals.
- 22:15Speaker 1: Well, there was all this, all this talking about hy
- 22:18Speaker 1: g Smon Waller wasn't part of it that oh, because
- 22:21Speaker 1: Els said that he.
- 22:22Speaker 2: Can't be on it.
- 22:23Speaker 1: There's drama there.
- 22:25Speaker 2: I don't believe that.
- 22:26Speaker 1: And then you know, I was talking to Jackie about it,
- 22:28Speaker 1: and Jackie was saying, well, they only focus on season
- 22:31Speaker 1: one and season I'm like, how are they going.
- 22:33Speaker 2: To do this for season two and three? They're not
- 22:35Speaker 2: going to There's no way they're never doing it again.
- 22:38Speaker 2: It's done. And I and Low was on via video
- 22:41Speaker 2: or something right and went out to see thank.
- 22:42Speaker 1: You for saying that this was filmed forever ago, because
- 22:46Speaker 1: right off the bat, h Stephen was like, oh, yeah,
- 22:48Speaker 1: I just go marriage, just go back for my honeymoon.
- 22:50Speaker 1: And I'm like, he got married, he's already pregnant, way pregnant.
- 22:54Speaker 1: So long ago and wait so long They filmed this
- 22:56Speaker 1: early fall, so.
- 22:58Speaker 2: Maybe it had to do with Coles and I've ilse
- 23:00Speaker 2: said Coles five thousand times, which is exactly why Cole's
- 23:03Speaker 2: sponsored this thing. And Lauren Conrad was on board, So
- 23:06Speaker 2: net what like, do you give it one out of ten?
- 23:09Speaker 2: What do you give it? Overall?
- 23:11Speaker 1: It should have been thirty minutes and it was good
- 23:15Speaker 1: two hours, two hour and forty and oh likely it
- 23:19Speaker 1: was really rough and I think the one part that
- 23:21Speaker 1: was rough, not that I expected drama, but they were
- 23:24Speaker 1: like that.
- 23:24Speaker 2: One time you called me a splot on TV, was
- 23:28Speaker 2: you know, how do you feel about that?
- 23:29Speaker 1: And Stephen was like, oh, it's the worst thing that
- 23:31Speaker 1: I ever said, and then Christy was like, thank you, Steven,
- 23:33Speaker 1: and then they moved on.
- 23:34Speaker 2: It was just like very like, I just liked the
- 23:37Speaker 2: part where someone said and you threw a shoe at
- 23:39Speaker 2: me and the other person's like, I don't have any memory.
- 23:41Speaker 1: Of that, Yes, that was it the whole time, and
- 23:45Speaker 1: I'm like oh, I don't want to be I told
- 23:48Speaker 1: you so.
- 23:49Speaker 2: But I told you all. I told you pulled the
- 23:52Speaker 2: tape two weeks ago. I'm like, this is going to
- 23:54Speaker 2: be all hype, no no juice to the squeeze whatever.
- 23:57Speaker 1: The same did make me download Roku. So good job Broku.
- 24:00Speaker 2: Well, first of all, Roku, this is unpaid, is iconic.
- 24:04Speaker 2: I've told you guys. Also, if you are not great
- 24:07Speaker 2: with tech, Roku is the answer. It is so easy
- 24:11Speaker 2: to use. It is so friendly to an idiot like me.
- 24:17Speaker 2: Can we talk about menopauseiat? Oh my god?
- 24:19Speaker 1: One more thing on Laguna Beach?
- 24:21Speaker 2: Oh? Good? The host such an odd Wilson. I know
- 24:26Speaker 2: that was She's nice, but like for this, such a
- 24:29Speaker 2: weird choice. Very She's sort of a famous though for
- 24:34Speaker 2: being a host.
- 24:35Speaker 1: But not this genre era.
- 24:38Speaker 2: Carson Daily, Give me two thousands.
- 24:41Speaker 1: Give me somebody from that time period, Carson, Thank you
- 24:45Speaker 1: Hannah for bringing that up, because I didn't want to
- 24:47Speaker 1: talk about that.
- 24:47Speaker 2: I was like, who is this chick? She's a bit
- 24:49Speaker 2: too current. She's got a good podcast. I'm sure she does,
- 24:52Speaker 2: but she wasn't nothing to do with with.
- 24:55Speaker 1: Yeah, Ryan Cabrera, give me somebody else, Get someone from
- 24:58Speaker 1: southern California, like from Laguna Beach, Carson. Yes, yeah, I
- 25:04Speaker 1: really that would have been good.
- 25:06Speaker 2: Well, so what did you guys read it?
- 25:09Speaker 1: I forgot I even want to read it because I
- 25:11Speaker 1: love this franchise so much and it was a big
- 25:13Speaker 1: will it hurt me hard?
- 25:16Speaker 2: So anyone having in menopause, let me explain to you
- 25:20Speaker 2: what happens and see if anyone has a solve. Like
- 25:22Speaker 2: right now, for example, I'm doing pretty good, but like,
- 25:24Speaker 2: I'm not relaxed in any way. I'm always like, is
- 25:27Speaker 2: a bear chasing me? Is a bear chasing me? My
- 25:29Speaker 2: nervous system doesn't work? Does anyone have like a solve?
- 25:32Speaker 2: Some sort of thing it is?
- 25:36Speaker 1: Is? What do I blame it on?
- 25:38Speaker 2: Oh? You have it to No, you don't feel calm
- 25:43Speaker 2: and not today? Does anyone in this group feel calm?
- 25:49Speaker 2: Oh good? Nope, okay, got it. So nobody feels calm.
- 25:52Speaker 2: But do you physically not feel calm or just in
- 25:54Speaker 2: your brain?
- 25:55Speaker 1: I know I'm not calm because my whole.
- 25:57Speaker 2: Body doesn't feel calm. It's like my neck and my shadders,
- 25:59Speaker 2: the whole body. He's like, all right, we'll fine, So
- 26:02Speaker 2: we're all okay fine. So I guess that's that.
- 26:05Speaker 1: I think that's the only way you can fix is
- 26:06Speaker 1: tons of massages.
- 26:08Speaker 2: I agree. So let's talk about Coachella because I will
- 26:12Speaker 2: tell you the text I received. I will read it
- 26:14Speaker 2: to you. Let me read you the text I received. Hey,
- 26:17Speaker 2: do you have Coachella tickets? It's not for me, It's
- 26:21Speaker 2: for someone at the office. I told her I would
- 26:23Speaker 2: ask you, and I wrote no. Then this person said
- 26:28Speaker 2: I would hate to go to that. I don't think
- 26:30Speaker 2: it's possible. Why do people want to go to that?
- 26:35Speaker 2: I said, I would hate it more than you would
- 26:36Speaker 2: hate it. Explain to me because Danielle is going now.
- 26:41Speaker 2: I liked real couple tiktoks. I loved regular people at Coachella.
- 26:46Speaker 2: That was great. And the retirement community applauding the people.
- 26:51Speaker 1: That was funny. That was really funny that.
- 26:54Speaker 2: I was like, I want to sit in that lawn
- 26:55Speaker 2: chair with those retirees applauding the outfits as people walked by.
- 27:01Speaker 2: That is my Coachella.
- 27:05Speaker 1: Well, one thing I will say, the person that's saying
- 27:08Speaker 1: that text is in our industry, and I feel like
- 27:12Speaker 1: working where we work, we are very jaded to music anything.
- 27:17Speaker 2: So I'm just gonna say that fun too. I'm shocked.
- 27:21Speaker 2: Ti'm going, Yeah, I've gone. I was praying for my
- 27:26Speaker 2: life when I went. I thought it was the end.
- 27:28Speaker 2: I was like, I don't think I can do this.
- 27:30Speaker 2: And that was like fifteen years ago, so I was
- 27:32Speaker 2: younger then, and I still was like, am I going
- 27:35Speaker 2: to survive this? Right?
- 27:37Speaker 1: And and look, I think when I when I was
- 27:39Speaker 1: in college, I camped, I know fully camped, camped like
- 27:44Speaker 1: these people. Did you take a tent to take a shower?
- 27:47Speaker 1: Let me tell you what we did to take a shower.
- 27:49Speaker 1: We put on bathing suits and my girlfriend had a
- 27:53Speaker 1: you know, one of those garden things that you like
- 27:56Speaker 1: put water in and you do this, and then that.
- 27:59Speaker 2: Was your shower. And it's ray with the homes your shower.
- 28:02Speaker 1: That was our shower. And we just did that.
- 28:05Speaker 2: Did you just come home filthy? Like you are just filthy, filthy, filthy?
- 28:08Speaker 1: You literally just blow brown boogers for like two weeks?
- 28:11Speaker 2: Oh my god, I know, I had dirt come out
- 28:13Speaker 2: of my ears. Now I'm not one to talk because
- 28:15Speaker 2: we got some lice up in here right now. You
- 28:17Speaker 2: guys got my text? You have it. I don't think
- 28:19Speaker 2: I have it so did you get checked yet? No,
- 28:22Speaker 2: the lice lady's coming at six o'clock. So someone in
- 28:25Speaker 2: my family has lice. I don't live with that person,
- 28:28Speaker 2: but I'm around that person, and the whole class has lice,
- 28:33Speaker 2: like it was only a matter of time. Like the
- 28:35Speaker 2: entire class has lice. I have a photo of the lice.
- 28:37Speaker 2: Did you get my photo of it? I saw it,
- 28:39Speaker 2: So I'm not one to judge. Like car camping or
- 28:43Speaker 2: you know, showering out of a bucket, you will all
- 28:47Speaker 2: experience lice. I believe anyone with grade school children.
- 28:51Speaker 1: I never have in my entire life, like you've never
- 28:54Speaker 1: going through elementary school? Does does your niece's sisters have it?
- 28:59Speaker 1: Snope's parents so far now? But I guess notes have come.
- 29:06Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I think I might not have it. Emails
- 29:09Speaker 1: have come every day. Lice is lice, lice, lice, lce lice,
- 29:11Speaker 1: licee lycelce.
- 29:13Speaker 4: Uh.
- 29:15Speaker 1: Do they shut down school for like a week.
- 29:16Speaker 2: For a No, it's just because you can get like
- 29:21Speaker 2: the lad the light lady. I've had my hair checked
- 29:23Speaker 2: before because if you I'm telling you, if you have
- 29:26Speaker 2: kids in any way, this is not my first rodeo
- 29:28Speaker 2: with the lice. They come, they check your hair. Then
- 29:30Speaker 2: you don't worry and you can go back to school
- 29:33Speaker 2: right away. But then you're gonna catch it again if
- 29:36Speaker 2: you're the kid, because some kids got lice. So anyway,
- 29:38Speaker 2: I don't know why lice as gross. Everyone wants a gag,
- 29:40Speaker 2: but it's it's fine. It's like everyone. It's just everywhere.
- 29:44Speaker 2: Kids don't sounds powerful.
- 29:46Speaker 1: Just spiders roaming your head.
- 29:48Speaker 2: It's my nightmare. That's disgusting.
- 29:51Speaker 1: Just throw everything out at that point, just burn it.
- 29:56Speaker 2: Let me tell you, guys, li is cake walk compared
- 29:59Speaker 2: to I've never had bed bugs, but I researched it
- 30:02Speaker 2: once because they I was terrified of them. Now that's
- 30:05Speaker 2: when you have to burn the house down. You just
- 30:06Speaker 2: have to give up.
- 30:09Speaker 1: Yeah, because they get in the carpet and stuff. Right, Like,
- 30:12Speaker 1: they don't lice.
- 30:13Speaker 2: Can't live except on the human head or whatever, but
- 30:17Speaker 2: bed bugs can live for like a long time and
- 30:20Speaker 2: they don't have to be on a human host. Sorry,
- 30:23Speaker 2: are we just getting people to like give up on us?
- 30:25Speaker 2: Listen if you want to. This is this is our
- 30:29Speaker 2: last episode. No it's not, because this is what people
- 30:32Speaker 2: actually think about. People think about this stuff.
- 30:34Speaker 1: Do you want to know what my biggest fear in life.
- 30:36Speaker 2: Of course I do in life. Mie, No, I like mice.
- 30:40Speaker 2: I love rodents. You love rodents?
- 30:43Speaker 1: Well, I think I think they're adorable. If I see
- 30:44Speaker 1: a possum, I'm like, you cute, little baby. Okay, what
- 30:47Speaker 1: is your biggest fear? Cockroaches?
- 30:51Speaker 2: Oh no, that's not a problem. I had an apartment
- 30:54Speaker 2: and when I first moved to La, my apartment had
- 30:58Speaker 2: when you turn the water on, it came out for no,
- 31:01Speaker 2: so you had to let it run. I'm gonna have
- 31:02Speaker 2: to let it happen.
- 31:03Speaker 1: I'm having an external reach.
- 31:05Speaker 2: So many cockroaches. I can't it. Had so many cockroaches,
- 31:10Speaker 2: Like I saw cockroach to day.
- 31:12Speaker 1: I'm getting hot.
- 31:13Speaker 2: And I know then if you see one, there's like
- 31:14Speaker 2: a hundred. That's the that's the saying, Oh no, that
- 31:17Speaker 2: didn't bother me at all. That was fine.
- 31:18Speaker 1: Oh my god, beef.
- 31:19Speaker 2: No, it's fine.
- 31:21Speaker 1: It is my biggest fear in life. There's something about cockroaches.
- 31:23Speaker 2: That why they're not like even slimy.
- 31:26Speaker 1: I'm actually fully sweating right now.
- 31:28Speaker 2: I can't even talk because I had cockroaches.
- 31:30Speaker 1: I can't even talk.
- 31:31Speaker 2: Is not my fault, and I kept a clean place
- 31:33Speaker 2: there in the walls. It's my fault, and the water
- 31:35Speaker 2: came out brown. That disturbed me more. Oh my god,
- 31:39Speaker 2: my neck, My neck hurts so bad. Okay, there's so
- 31:42Speaker 2: many more things I want to talk about, including the testaments.
- 31:48Speaker 1: Okay, you're the only person in my circle that I've
- 31:51Speaker 1: heard I.
- 31:51Speaker 2: Speak about this one hundred percent. Not the only person
- 31:55Speaker 2: who watched the boy band Joey Fateau's you.
- 31:57Speaker 1: Give me a homework assentment to watch the boy band
- 31:59Speaker 1: come Fidential docuseries.
- 32:01Speaker 2: So this is like a boy band thing that Joey
- 32:03Speaker 2: Fatone from Insane is producing. Look, I watched it. It's
- 32:07Speaker 2: a tale as old as.
- 32:08Speaker 1: Time's already did this. I was just watching it all
- 32:11Speaker 1: over again. The only thing I would say was different
- 32:13Speaker 1: in this one. And I am really upset that I'm
- 32:16Speaker 1: not recalling the name.
- 32:19Speaker 2: Give it to me, describe it. We'll get it. Like again.
- 32:21Speaker 1: It's a boy band, three boys recent no no, no direction.
- 32:26Speaker 1: They're like, uh, three of them in my mind, yes, forever,
- 32:30Speaker 1: in my mind. They talked about this boy and this
- 32:34Speaker 1: was more of a recent one. This boy band's uh
- 32:38Speaker 1: story and how one of them was essentially just molested
- 32:42Speaker 1: repeatedly by the band manager.
- 32:44Speaker 2: Oh that happened to all these guys, Like, not all
- 32:47Speaker 2: these guys, but like, I think it's a creepy pearlman
- 32:50Speaker 2: with I mean they all they stole the money, right,
- 32:54Speaker 2: was he creepy?
- 32:54Speaker 1: And he also was like, man, go down on me,
- 32:57Speaker 1: if you know what. Yeah, like is disgusting and gross
- 33:01Speaker 1: and and look, I always.
- 33:03Speaker 2: In the documentary, Yeah, this is not a hippity story.
- 33:07Speaker 4: No.
- 33:07Speaker 1: I always love a good dark But I just I
- 33:09Speaker 1: feel like Lance did it. He did it very very well.
- 33:13Speaker 1: He actually did appear in this one too. I just
- 33:16Speaker 1: didn't really know what was different than Lance's other than
- 33:19Speaker 1: this dark forever in my mind, Yeah, of course they're dark.
- 33:22Speaker 1: I mean because it's talking about like the gnarly, the
- 33:27Speaker 1: gnarliness of it all. Not to go back to Coachella,
- 33:31Speaker 1: but everyone was talking about Justin Bieber. You ever hated
- 33:34Speaker 1: or loved it? I loved it from what I saw.
- 33:36Speaker 1: I can't wait to watch it this weekend. But I
- 33:39Speaker 1: was seeing a lot of things on my Instagram populate
- 33:42Speaker 1: about reels of how Justin was treated as a kid,
- 33:46Speaker 1: and it reminded me a lot of Britney Spears where
- 33:48Speaker 1: they did flashbacks to her and interviews with her where
- 33:51Speaker 1: she was just treated so honesully and they.
- 33:54Speaker 2: Were doing that with Justin Bieber. Is that in the dock? Also?
- 33:57Speaker 2: Are you just seen it?
- 33:58Speaker 1: No? No, no, this is just me relating to this
- 34:00Speaker 1: talk and seeing all this Justin Bieber stuff on Instagram
- 34:03Speaker 1: of like past interviews and past things that where women
- 34:06Speaker 1: were inappropate women hosts were inappropriate to him and men
- 34:10Speaker 1: as well, and I just was like, and he's visibly
- 34:13Speaker 1: uncomfortable and saying I'm uncomfortable, and it's like, oh my god,
- 34:17Speaker 1: like these people, yeah as traumatic.
- 34:22Speaker 2: Well, still just everywhere awkward pivot alert. Are you like
- 34:35Speaker 2: as obsessed with Matthew Morrison on social media as I am?
- 34:38Speaker 1: I am not, But tell me why what is he
- 34:40Speaker 1: to do? I'm not.
- 34:43Speaker 2: You can't say he's crossed my algorithm. And I bring
- 34:46Speaker 2: it up because he was in a boy band. He
- 34:48Speaker 2: did this like I don't even if you know, you know,
- 34:51Speaker 2: this is like one of those things if you know,
- 34:52Speaker 2: you know, And now I know he's on Broadway, so
- 34:54Speaker 2: maybe it was all to like get this gig on Broadway.
- 34:57Speaker 2: But he was doing these solo performances and like look
- 35:00Speaker 2: like a viby club type thing. Okay, they were so unhinged,
- 35:07Speaker 2: and I like Matthew Morrison. I'm like, I'm fine with
- 35:09Speaker 2: Matthew Morrison despite even like his like you know, weird
- 35:12Speaker 2: stuff that people. I think he got fired from something,
- 35:15Speaker 2: so you think he can dance or something whatever. Speaking
- 35:18Speaker 2: of creepiness, I don't know. This is so hard to
- 35:20Speaker 2: talk about. Oh, cord pivot for sure, A cord pivot.
- 35:26Speaker 2: Oh my god, there's so I can't get enough of it.
- 35:29Speaker 2: Does any of you none of you watched it? Oh
- 35:32Speaker 2: my gosh, I thought it was ai. I did see it, Oh,
- 35:35Speaker 2: with him sort of doing the doing the swim and
- 35:38Speaker 2: doing in my.
- 35:39Speaker 5: Opinion, and I kept seeing it, so I was like,
- 35:41Speaker 5: this is very realistic.
- 35:43Speaker 2: I wonder, no, it's real. I wonder if you got
- 35:45Speaker 2: it because you live in New York and it was
- 35:46Speaker 2: like all happening in New York, just everybody homework assignment.
- 35:49Speaker 4: Just watch it.
- 35:50Speaker 2: And I like him and he's talented, right, So he's
- 35:52Speaker 2: singing and dancing and it's like it's good. He's a
- 35:55Speaker 2: good singer, he's a good dancer. But it's just nutty
- 36:00Speaker 2: and he would like go and talk and talk and talk,
- 36:03Speaker 2: and like, I don't know, maybe it was to get
- 36:05Speaker 2: the gig he got on Broadway because he got it.
- 36:07Speaker 2: But I was just like, what's happening here?
- 36:08Speaker 1: What's happening? What's happening? I got a text the other
- 36:12Speaker 1: day and I want to grill you. So just to
- 36:17Speaker 1: set up the text, Every Tuesday, Yeah, every Tuesday, when
- 36:22Speaker 1: my son goes to school, they're supposed to wear a
- 36:24Speaker 1: certain color because they're learning their colors.
- 36:26Speaker 2: Right, Oh, so okay, red, orange, yellow, exactly.
- 36:30Speaker 1: So on Monday night I texted my girlfriend whose son
- 36:34Speaker 1: goes to the same school, and I said, hey, did
- 36:36Speaker 1: they send out an email color? What color is he
- 36:38Speaker 1: supposed to wear tomorrow? And she goes, they sent out
- 36:42Speaker 1: an email TLDR yellow, And I go, TLDR.
- 36:48Speaker 2: I've read this a million times.
- 36:50Speaker 1: What the hell does TLDR mean?
- 36:52Speaker 2: Do you know what it means? Talk later? No, I
- 36:57Speaker 2: don't let me keep guessing, though, talk I guess poddler. No,
- 37:03Speaker 2: that's like loll that everyone thought loll was. No, there
- 37:07Speaker 2: was something like one of those that everybody got wrong,
- 37:10Speaker 2: love you so much or something, but I don't I
- 37:12Speaker 2: don't remember. So this is like a cool friend tl DR.
- 37:19Speaker 1: And you're going to love it. You are going to
- 37:21Speaker 1: live DR.
- 37:22Speaker 2: Okay, don't make people suffer.
- 37:24Speaker 1: What is it too long? Don't read give the answer.
- 37:27Speaker 1: So she was saying, they sent an email TLDR too long,
- 37:31Speaker 1: don't read the answers yellow. So it's saying she's giving
- 37:34Speaker 1: the cliff notes of what it is.
- 37:36Speaker 2: I understand. So she's saying to you, it was too long,
- 37:39Speaker 2: don't read it yellow, and so I'll never use that you.
- 37:44Speaker 1: But you always say your emails too long.
- 37:46Speaker 2: I didn't read it because I just deleted DR. I mean,
- 37:50Speaker 2: somebody can summarize it for me. But you am I
- 37:52Speaker 2: supposed to write back, and I'll just write back to
- 37:54Speaker 2: people that send me long emails TLDR.
- 37:59Speaker 1: But that this is this is Amy Sugarman's phrase tl
- 38:02Speaker 1: d R because.
- 38:03Speaker 2: You always tell people too long, don't with the long
- 38:06Speaker 2: thing They send me like novels, and I'm like, man,
- 38:11Speaker 2: I'm not going to read those. Just so you know,
- 38:13Speaker 2: just send me a photo.
- 38:14Speaker 1: My homework assignment to you is to use TOD.
- 38:17Speaker 2: What was the one that everybody thought was one thing
- 38:20Speaker 2: and it was another?
- 38:22Speaker 4: Was it?
- 38:22Speaker 2: Loull No? That's laughing at I love yes people thought
- 38:27Speaker 2: loll was lots of love loll.
- 38:30Speaker 1: Isn't it laugh out loud?
- 38:31Speaker 2: It's laugh out loud? Yeah, I love lull. I use
- 38:34Speaker 2: that one and I like to say it as lull not.
- 38:40Speaker 2: Is it time for my spoilers? Wait? Did you watch
- 38:42Speaker 2: The Miniature Wife? No? I did not watch The Miniature Wife,
- 38:45Speaker 2: but I wanted to call the Miniature Wife. Yeah, the
- 38:48Speaker 2: miniature Tony who shrunk the kids.
- 38:51Speaker 1: Basically it's Elizabeth thinks, which is like incredible, I'm not
- 38:55Speaker 1: random in this everywhere and it looks damn awful. I'm like.
- 39:02Speaker 2: This movie so much promo. When it looks atrocious, I
- 39:09Speaker 2: don't know. Somebody has to watch it to say if
- 39:13Speaker 2: it's bad. Somebody has to Somebody by next week has to. Now,
- 39:16Speaker 2: does anybody want to see the photo of the lice
- 39:19Speaker 2: I took? Because we can post that. We should post
- 39:22Speaker 2: like trigger warning, but people should see it. That's exciting.
- 39:26Speaker 2: So who's gonna watch The Miniature Wife? I don't name me,
- 39:30Speaker 2: That's all I'm gonna say. It looks bad, anybody agrees,
- 39:33Speaker 2: somebody has to take as a job. Who's gonna do it? Hannah?
- 39:37Speaker 2: It sounds like Hannah's taking it. Maybe I won't be
- 39:40Speaker 2: here next week. But it does have a good cast.
- 39:43Speaker 2: But I feel like I could give it a shot.
- 39:45Speaker 1: I could give it.
- 39:45Speaker 2: I could give it an episode. Yeah, but it's a movie.
- 39:49Speaker 2: You got to report backs serious a series. It's honey,
- 39:54Speaker 2: I shrunk the kids. I mean that's the thing. I'm like,
- 39:56Speaker 2: what this is? Honey, I shrunk the kids.
- 39:58Speaker 1: But I just also love the lead guy.
- 40:01Speaker 2: In it just be too all right, So somebody needs
- 40:05Speaker 2: to watch it in news that only people over the
- 40:08Speaker 2: age of fifty will care about. How about Lorenzo Lamas
- 40:12Speaker 2: dating Heather Locklayer, Like, I'm into that. Do you guys
- 40:19Speaker 2: know either of those people?
- 40:20Speaker 1: I know, of course, but Lorenzo Lamas.
- 40:23Speaker 2: Emma, Oh, by the way, I'm so sorry, but I
- 40:26Speaker 2: told a lot of people that you did not know
- 40:28Speaker 2: the end of love story JFK. And that was I
- 40:31Speaker 2: had to tell a lot of people that do you
- 40:34Speaker 2: know who Heather lock There is? Of course, No, she doesn't.
- 40:37Speaker 2: She doesn't. You know.
- 40:38Speaker 1: If you see a picture, just do a little Google
- 40:40Speaker 1: Rooney and you'll you'll find out.
- 40:42Speaker 2: Do you know Melrose Place Dynasty TJ. Hooker, No, she
- 40:47Speaker 2: doesn't know. And do you know Lorenzo Lamis. I don't know,
- 40:51Speaker 2: Oh you don't know. Okay, do you know Shane Lammis
- 40:54Speaker 2: that was on The Bachelor? Does that ring a bell
- 40:57Speaker 2: at all? So Lorenzo Lamis, he was like on a
- 41:01Speaker 2: show called Renegade. But the way people really know Lorenzo Lamas,
- 41:05Speaker 2: did you has everyone seen Grease? Yes?
- 41:08Speaker 5: Yes?
- 41:08Speaker 2: You know when she breaks up with Danny for a
- 41:10Speaker 2: bit and she dates the cutie football player and they
- 41:13Speaker 2: go to the soda shop together and he's like darling
- 41:17Speaker 2: and I think he kind of smiles at her at
- 41:18Speaker 2: the when she's cheering. Okay, that's Lorenzo Lamas, the blonde,
- 41:24Speaker 2: that's Lorenzo what Yeah, thank you, thank you.
- 41:27Speaker 4: That is a big reveal because I give it's my
- 41:30Speaker 4: favorite musical.
- 41:31Speaker 2: I had Lorenzo Lamas, Yeah, blonde because they died his
- 41:34Speaker 2: hair or he maybe was just more blonde then. But
- 41:37Speaker 2: like he went, he was sort of a hunk, like
- 41:39Speaker 2: he's a little older than my time, like I'm a
- 41:42Speaker 2: little bit more Brad Pitt and Lorenzo Lamas is kind of,
- 41:46Speaker 2: you know, more Orchestrata sort of era. Yeah, but yeah,
- 41:50Speaker 2: and so the two of them, that is a that
- 41:52Speaker 2: is a like gen X couple. We've been wanting. They're
- 41:58Speaker 2: just Tail and gen X. I think they might be
- 41:59Speaker 2: like old gen X and it's like, yeah, I'm into it.
- 42:04Speaker 2: I'm into it. So congrats to you. Oh oh my god,
- 42:12Speaker 2: speaking of people that I didn't know, who is that
- 42:16Speaker 2: hunk hunk of a dream boat golfer? We have to
- 42:21Speaker 2: post his photo? Oh my, your lead to this. He's
- 42:25Speaker 2: been around for a while. He is a very beautiful man.
- 42:28Speaker 1: I yes, but he's been around for a very long time.
- 42:30Speaker 2: Gosh, can I see? Can someone bring up a photo
- 42:36Speaker 2: of him? Yeah?
- 42:37Speaker 1: I got it.
- 42:38Speaker 2: So he's young, he's thirty two. Oh my gosh. Did
- 42:41Speaker 2: he play in the Masters?
- 42:44Speaker 1: Yeah? I'm playing the Masters?
- 42:46Speaker 2: Oh okay? Cute cute?
- 42:50Speaker 3: Wow?
- 42:51Speaker 2: Yeah? But whoa cute? Oh yeah? Cute? More golfery in
- 42:58Speaker 2: these photos than I expected, but cute cute. Brian de
- 43:03Speaker 2: Shambo is that his name?
- 43:05Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 43:05Speaker 2: Did anybody did anybody get Bryson? Not Brian, pardon me,
- 43:10Speaker 2: Bryson Deshambo? Got it?
- 43:13Speaker 1: Did anybody get suckered into having to watch the Masters?
- 43:16Speaker 2: Nope? How did that go for you? I got suckered
- 43:20Speaker 2: into it. Rory McElroy is got his name? Who won? Yeah?
- 43:24Speaker 4: Is it time.
- 43:25Speaker 1: Spoilers, Yeah, let's keep my spoilers.
- 43:30Speaker 2: Do we have any hot songs? The one I found
- 43:32Speaker 2: was Ai. I learned that we could see if wants to, yeah,
- 43:37Speaker 2: play a little of it just to see it's just
- 43:39Speaker 2: like AI song. So okay, we have one totally. I
- 43:43Speaker 2: totally loved it. And then to find out it's not
- 43:45Speaker 2: even a real song. Oh, give give a couple songs.
- 43:47Speaker 2: Then let's do some songs before we go.
- 43:49Speaker 3: All right, this is Temper City who picked this AMA
- 43:53Speaker 3: did last week and it's called self aware. Okay, and
- 43:57Speaker 3: this was approved within this like a couple.
- 44:00Speaker 4: Of days ago.
- 44:01Speaker 2: Got it, got it, got it, I'll give we'll give
- 44:04Speaker 2: our judgments. That sounds like something the young people would like.
- 44:33Speaker 2: It felt Lenny Kravitz meets sort of a band, like
- 44:39Speaker 2: a band, some sort of a band, I'll sar the people. Yeah,
- 44:43Speaker 2: good one. I'm gonna give that as good seven and
- 44:47Speaker 2: a half.
- 44:47Speaker 1: I liked it.
- 44:48Speaker 2: I'll give it a solid eight eight point two. I
- 44:50Speaker 2: did a lot. I had miss meani Pants, miss meanie
- 44:53Speaker 2: Pants over there is giving a high mark. I liked it.
- 44:57Speaker 2: I liked it.
- 44:58Speaker 1: I liked it.
- 44:59Speaker 3: I did watch trustor People the Coachella said that was good.
- 45:02Speaker 2: Oh so you sat there on YouTube and watched it.
- 45:05Speaker 1: Everyone does in the Backgroundella, basically, I would never know
- 45:10Speaker 1: never Okay, this is the I know Brody Jenner was
- 45:13Speaker 1: watching it.
- 45:14Speaker 2: I did see that that. Brodie Jenner was like, that's
- 45:16Speaker 2: like a thing.
- 45:17Speaker 1: People would just watch it at home stream it.
- 45:19Speaker 2: Brody jumped over Cutie too, All right, Jackie, give it
- 45:23Speaker 2: to us, give us.
- 45:24Speaker 4: Oh, this was good.
- 45:29Speaker 2: One can we love this good?
- 45:39Speaker 4: Chanted?
- 45:40Speaker 2: I love this is it? Yeah?
- 45:44Speaker 3: So, sugar Mine, it's so good.
- 45:53Speaker 2: I feel like it's not loud enough, Jackie. How do
- 45:59Speaker 2: you make it loud? Right? I don't know. It's so good.
- 46:07Speaker 3: It's like only on this guy's video.
- 46:15Speaker 2: TikTok dancing to it. Just do that beginning part one
- 46:18Speaker 2: more time, please, it's so good, just one more time.
- 46:25Speaker 2: Why do you guys hate it?
- 46:27Speaker 4: It's so catchy.
- 46:32Speaker 2: Immediately was enchanted playing claps when we landed. I didn't
- 46:41Speaker 2: want to do just toorist stuff. For the two of
- 46:47Speaker 2: you that have stayed this year. You're yeah. For the
- 46:49Speaker 2: two people still listening. If they want to, they might
- 46:52Speaker 2: be still here. It doesn't matter this episode. We're getting
- 46:56Speaker 2: worse each week. No, it's fine. Uh, so that's just
- 46:59Speaker 2: like a computer that's not even a real person. AI.
- 47:02Speaker 3: No, like the person's real. He just grabbed the throng
- 47:05Speaker 3: off of AI.
- 47:06Speaker 2: Like I got that right, right, right, Okay, let's talk
- 47:17Speaker 2: about the quickly. The Testaments. It is so good.
- 47:19Speaker 4: It is so good. It is so good.
- 47:21Speaker 2: This is why I look like this because I stayed
- 47:23Speaker 2: up till two in the morning. Spoiler fing spoiler alert.
- 47:29Speaker 2: Episode one. The character of Daisy, it's like she's in Gilliad,
- 47:35Speaker 2: she's back in Canada. You're getting sort of flash forwards,
- 47:37Speaker 2: flash backwards. I did not get any spoilers in advance.
- 47:41Speaker 2: So I'm watching it, watching it, and Daisy walks into
- 47:45Speaker 2: her parents' thrift store and I see the back of
- 47:50Speaker 2: a woman at the counter, and I say to myself, June, June.
- 47:57Speaker 2: I know it's June. And let me tell.
- 48:01Speaker 3: You Elizabeth Moss Danielle the main Oh.
- 48:09Speaker 2: It was such an iconic reveal. First of all, the
- 48:12Speaker 2: show's awesome. It's really really good. And if you like
- 48:15Speaker 2: the Handmaids sale, which I just was obsessed with the
- 48:17Speaker 2: handmaid Sale and I was so sad when it was over,
- 48:19Speaker 2: So now I get more. So this is related to
- 48:22Speaker 2: it like it's the next chapter, it's the next series.
- 48:25Speaker 2: So it's the book after Handmaid's Tale. I see, And
- 48:28Speaker 2: I knew Elizabeth Moss was a producer on it, but
- 48:30Speaker 2: she kind of was coy was she going to be
- 48:31Speaker 2: in it? And I've I've been listening to the book
- 48:34Speaker 2: on audio book or whatever it's called audible, and June's
- 48:38Speaker 2: not in the book that i've the part I've heard,
- 48:40Speaker 2: so I was not expecting an episode one that's exciting.
- 48:48Speaker 2: It was the thrilling, the drilling, and then episode three
- 48:53Speaker 2: she's back again. But I the Internet told me that
- 48:57Speaker 2: Sam Jaeger Jeger Marked two is also in it, but
- 49:02Speaker 2: I can't figure out like they said, maybe his voice,
- 49:05Speaker 2: but it is Stephen Colbert's voice. Stephen Colbert is like
- 49:08Speaker 2: the Oprah was the voice in Handmaid's Tale. Now Stephen Colbert,
- 49:13Speaker 2: it's so good you guys.
- 49:15Speaker 4: I have a question, ready, can you pick this up
- 49:18Speaker 4: without seeing the ending?
- 49:20Speaker 2: Thank you? Thank you. I had that same exact question.
- 49:22Speaker 4: Guys, I haven't watched since like season like.
- 49:27Speaker 2: Why why would you want to do that? Just finish
- 49:29Speaker 2: Handmaid's Tale? I think you could, I actually think you could,
- 49:33Speaker 2: but I think you're going to enjoy it more. If
- 49:36Speaker 2: you don't, That's what I'm gonna say. Finish Handmaid's Tale,
- 49:39Speaker 2: do yourself a favor. It's so good, so good, so far.
- 49:44Speaker 2: For me, testaments is a ten out of ten, ten
- 49:46Speaker 2: out of ten. There's like a it's just ten out
- 49:49Speaker 2: of ten, and we'll talk more about it as I
- 49:51Speaker 2: get I'm only on finished episode three and I think
- 49:53Speaker 2: episode four exists, and I'm behind on Friends and Neighbors,
- 49:55Speaker 2: but I'll get to that too.
- 49:57Speaker 4: Oh, I'm up to date on that one.
- 49:58Speaker 3: So the totally reason I have stopped Handmaid's Tail because
- 50:01Speaker 3: it gets so dark and I'm just and I'm like,
- 50:03Speaker 3: thank you, Dane. You've described it as scary, and I'm like,
- 50:07Speaker 3: I kind of think it's scary too.
- 50:08Speaker 2: So that's as dark as that boy band thing you
- 50:11Speaker 2: guys were talking about.
- 50:13Speaker 1: No, it was a lot, Yes, equally dark. Oh, I
- 50:18Speaker 1: mean just different. They're different, like.
- 50:22Speaker 2: Give it different. It's so it's a ten out of ten,
- 50:24Speaker 2: ten out of ten.
- 50:25Speaker 4: I'm down able to go.
- 50:27Speaker 1: And I think also because of the boy band stuff,
- 50:29Speaker 1: I know that stuff happened.
- 50:31Speaker 2: People wanted to know why do we play games on
- 50:34Speaker 2: this show, and the reason we play games, and we
- 50:36Speaker 2: forgot to explain that is that we love games. I
- 50:41Speaker 2: don't know where my cards are. It came out of nowhere.
- 50:44Speaker 2: I was like, what is happening? People want to know?
- 50:48Speaker 2: People want to know why we Why were we playing pyramid?
- 50:51Speaker 2: They don't need They didn't understand. No, they we play games.
- 50:55Speaker 2: We played pyramid last week and a lot of people won,
- 50:58Speaker 2: a lot of people all the people one said why
- 51:02Speaker 2: do you play games?
- 51:03Speaker 1: And I'm like the games and we want you to
- 51:05Speaker 1: play along with us.
- 51:06Speaker 2: Do we have any games before we go? I'd love
- 51:08Speaker 2: to end on a game. No, we don't have a game.
- 51:13Speaker 1: We should have a game?
- 51:14Speaker 2: Should we do? We need a game? I don't have
- 51:16Speaker 2: my cards. I don't have my cards. Yeah, somebody just
- 51:19Speaker 2: do around a pyramid? Oh? I have Sale the Century
- 51:23Speaker 2: under my desk. Wants somebody grab it? Oh my god,
- 51:26Speaker 2: the greatest game of all time? Hold on here you
- 51:29Speaker 2: so Sale of the Century. Okay, So this was a
- 51:31Speaker 2: game that was around in the eighties or nineties. Somebody

- 51:39Speaker 2: Remember I said, just make sure it's brand new.
- 51:40Speaker 1: Now.
- 51:41Speaker 2: Somebody easily could have shrink wrapped this again and there's
- 51:43Speaker 2: probably bad bugs in here, but I'm gonna hope not.
- 51:46Speaker 2: The reason this was the best game ever is it came,
- 51:50Speaker 2: and I won't do all this right now for you guys.
- 51:54Speaker 2: It does look new. It looks new. Oh, oh my god,
- 51:58Speaker 2: it came and this isn't gonna happ have batteries in it.

- 52:36Speaker 2: back then. No one's listening anymore, by the way, we've
- 52:38Speaker 2: gone on for an hour. Okay, Let me just give

- 53:13Speaker 2: that we can play this. But I'm ready for Pyramid.
- 53:17Speaker 2: You want to give me the clues and yeah, I'll
