- 0:00Speaker 1: It's the mark simone show live from the wor life
- 0:04Speaker 1: vac studios well bruce blakeman of course most likely you're
- 0:10Speaker 1: going to be the next governor of new york but
- 0:12Speaker 1: he needs your help two things you can donate go
- 0:14Speaker 1: to blakeman for new york.com it'll still help blakeman for
- 0:18Speaker 1: new york.com and then make sure you vote you may
- 0:21Speaker 1: be a big supporter but turnout is the key you
- 0:23Speaker 1: can do the early voting this week get out there
- 0:26Speaker 1: and vote for bruce blakeman bruce blakeman how you doing.
- 0:31Speaker 2: We're doing great, Mark. It's the final push.
- 0:34Speaker 3: I got eight days and we're crisscrossing the state and
- 0:38Speaker 3: we're having a great time meeting people.
- 0:40Speaker 2: But more importantly, people tell me wherever I go, how
- 0:44Speaker 2: miserable they are under Kathy Hochul. I tell them help's
- 0:47Speaker 2: on the way.
- 0:49Speaker 3: Cut taxes, cut utility bills, get back to normal. These
- 0:53Speaker 3: people that are running the state and the city now,
- 0:55Speaker 3: they're not normal people. They don't have American values. And
- 0:59Speaker 3: of course, Kathy Hochul is the most pro-criminal governor in
- 1:03Speaker 3: the United States of America. All of her policies make
- 1:06Speaker 3: it easier for criminals to prey on our communities. That
- 1:09Speaker 3: ends when I become governor. When I become governor, we're
- 1:12Speaker 3: no longer a sanctuary state. We're not going to spend
- 1:15Speaker 3: billions of dollars on illegal migrants. We're going to spend
- 1:18Speaker 3: that money on New Yorkers.
- 1:19Speaker 1: You know, some people will actually say, when it comes
- 1:22Speaker 1: to Mamdani, he really is pro-criminal. He really believes all
- 1:26Speaker 1: this crap. But even worse is Hochul. who they think
- 1:29Speaker 1: just does it for political purposes, which makes it even sleazier,
- 1:34Speaker 1: the fact that she's a weathervane, whatever way the wind
- 1:37Speaker 1: is blowing. You've never been like that.
- 1:40Speaker 3: No, listen, the most important thing as far as a
- 1:44Speaker 3: responsibility of an elected official is the safety of our communities.
- 1:49Speaker 3: So it all begins and ends with safety and public health.
- 1:52Speaker 3: And Kathy Hochul has been a disaster. Just think about
- 1:56Speaker 3: the hospitals that have been defunded around the state. She's
- 2:00Speaker 3: spending that money on illegal migrants when she should be
- 2:02Speaker 3: spending it on our hospitals. She's not spending it on
- 2:05Speaker 3: our schools. She's not spending it on our infrastructure. She's
- 2:08Speaker 3: not cutting taxes. She's not cutting utility bills. She's doing
- 2:11Speaker 3: the opposite. We're the highest taxed state in America. Her
- 2:14Speaker 3: and Zoran Mandani want to increase taxes next year. God
- 2:18Speaker 3: forbid she should be reelected. I will stop that. We
- 2:21Speaker 3: will not increase taxes. We will cut taxes.
- 2:23Speaker 2: Kathy Hochul has approved 48 utility rate hikes. 48 in
- 2:27Speaker 2: four years. That's almost one a month.
- 2:30Speaker 3: No wonder why our utility rates are 70% higher than
- 2:33Speaker 3: the national average and people can't afford it. Her own
- 2:36Speaker 3: state energy budget research department, her department said that under
- 2:41Speaker 3: her policies, it's going to go up another.
- 2:43Speaker 2: $ 4, 000 a year.
- 2:45Speaker 3: And gasoline prices are going to go up $ 2.
- 2:47Speaker 2: 25 a gallon.
- 2:49Speaker 3: We've got to stop the insanity of Kathy Hoechlin, Zoran Mondami,
- 2:54Speaker 3: On Election Day, vote for Bruce Blakeman. I'll cut taxes,
- 2:57Speaker 3: cut utility bills, and I will make safer communities, just
- 3:00Speaker 3: like I did in my county, where I have the
- 3:03Speaker 3: safest county in America, according to U.S.
- 3:05Speaker 2: News & World Report. I cut taxes, and I haven't
- 3:08Speaker 2: raised them in five years one penny.
- 3:10Speaker 1: Yeah. Now, tell people what to do, because I assume
- 3:14Speaker 1: you want early voting. Important to get out and vote early?
- 3:17Speaker 3: Yeah, because you never know what's going to happen on
- 3:19Speaker 3: Election Day. So, if you can, get out, go vote early.
- 3:24Speaker 3: If not, on November 3rd, go to your normal and
- 3:27Speaker 3: usual polling place and go out and vote. Listen, you
- 3:30Speaker 3: need to make your voice heard. If good people don't vote,
- 3:33Speaker 3: bad people make the laws. And we know what happens
- 3:36Speaker 3: when that occurs. We have to make sure that we
- 3:39Speaker 3: save our state. We're number 50, Mark, in economic outlook.
- 3:42Speaker 2: 50. There's only 50 states.
- 3:43Speaker 3: It doesn't get worse than that. People are leaving in droves.
- 3:46Speaker 3: Jobs are leaving in droves. People are miserable under Kathy Hochul.
- 3:50Speaker 3: I'm a governor that will put New Yorkers first. every
- 3:54Speaker 3: New Yorker, and I will make you happy again. You
- 3:57Speaker 3: deserve a governor that makes you happy rather than a
- 4:00Speaker 3: governor that makes you miserable.
- 4:02Speaker 1: Bruce Blakeman, the fact that she's suddenly campaigning everywhere with Mamdani,
- 4:06Speaker 1: that means she's in panic mode, doesn't it?
- 4:10Speaker 3: Well, according to one Democrat friend of mine who knows
- 4:13Speaker 3: what's going on in her campaign, they told me her
- 4:15Speaker 3: hair was on fire.
- 4:16Speaker 2: Their polling is very bad. She is desperate.
- 4:21Speaker 3: Now she's going to the absolute left wing of the
- 4:25Speaker 3: Democratic Party, the lunatic left.
- 4:28Speaker 2: And that's why every day.
- 4:29Speaker 3: Another Democrat walks up to me and says, Bruce, I'm
- 4:32Speaker 3: a lifelong Democrat, never voted for a Republican in my life.
- 4:35Speaker 2: I'm voting for you this year. I'm voting Republican.
- 4:38Speaker 3: My party has gotten insane. I'm talking about liberal Democrats,
- 4:41Speaker 3: not just, you know, moderate Democrats, liberal Democrats who feel that, yeah,
- 4:47Speaker 3: we're liberal, but we're not crazy.
- 4:49Speaker 2: We're not communists.
- 4:50Speaker 3: They're going to go vote for me, so I feel
- 4:52Speaker 3: very confident about this election if everybody gets out to vote.
- 4:55Speaker 1: Yeah, make sure you get out and vote. Now, you
- 4:57Speaker 1: and Kathy Ogle both have access to real polls from
- 5:01Speaker 1: serious real pollsters, but when you see these fake college
- 5:04Speaker 1: polls that have you 15 points behind, what do you
- 5:06Speaker 1: think when you see these?
- 5:08Speaker 3: Well, we looked at the data collection, and it's just
- 5:12Speaker 3: what we thought it was. They overpolled Democrats, underpolled Republicans,
- 5:16Speaker 3: and they overpolled New York City. And why do they
- 5:19Speaker 3: do that? They want to frustrate our turnout. And they
- 5:22Speaker 3: want to frustrate our fundraising. But people aren't buying into it. Look,
- 5:27Speaker 3: if Kathy Hochul was way ahead of me, why would
- 5:29Speaker 3: she spend $ 6 million attacking me last week?
- 5:33Speaker 2: Okay? And raising my name ID.
- 5:36Speaker 3: You never do that unless it's a close race. All
- 5:39Speaker 3: she would be doing is positive ads. But all her
- 5:41Speaker 3: ads are negative ads. She can't talk about her record
- 5:44Speaker 3: because her record is miserable. So she attacks me constantly,
- 5:49Speaker 3: not on substance, but on association, you know, that I'm
- 5:54Speaker 3: associated with Trump.
- 5:55Speaker 2: Look, I support President Trump.
- 5:58Speaker 3: I agree with President Trump on most things, but I
- 6:01Speaker 3: have disagreements with President Trump and.
- 6:03Speaker 2: I'm willing to stand up. I will always do what's
- 6:06Speaker 2: best for the people of New York.
- 6:07Speaker 3: Nobody's going to tell me what to do when it
- 6:09Speaker 3: comes to protecting this state and making sure that we
- 6:13Speaker 3: make it affordable for every New Yorker.
- 6:15Speaker 1: You know, Hochul got embarrassed that there were no positive
- 6:18Speaker 1: ads for her. So she's finally come out with positive.
- 6:21Speaker 1: The only positive ad she could come up with is
- 6:23Speaker 1: she fixed the school lunch program. Is that it? That's
- 6:25Speaker 1: the only thing she could say?
- 6:28Speaker 2: Well, that's about it.
- 6:30Speaker 3: And even that is a disaster because the fact is
- 6:34Speaker 3: that was screwed up as well. The students weren't getting
- 6:38Speaker 3: their proper nutrition. They got a program that is... way
- 6:45Speaker 3: overly expensive. There is no controls on the spending, so
- 6:49Speaker 3: you're not getting quality food and quality service. Kathy Hochul
- 6:52Speaker 3: can't run any operation. This woman can't run a pepper factory.
- 6:58Speaker 3: How is she going to run the state of New York?
- 7:00Speaker 3: She's run it into the ground. People are miserable. We're
- 7:03Speaker 3: in a death spiral. We're number 50 in economic outlook.
- 7:07Speaker 3: It's time for a change. Yeah.
- 7:10Speaker 1: You got to give the Democrats credit, though, just for chutzpah.
- 7:13Speaker 1: They've been in charge of every inch of government in
- 7:15Speaker 1: New York for the last 10 years, and they're campaigning
- 7:18Speaker 1: that there's an affordability crisis on their watch. How do
- 7:22Speaker 1: they have the nerve to do that?
- 7:24Speaker 3: Well, if it wasn't so tragic, it would be hysterical
- 7:28Speaker 3: because I almost fell off my chair when Kathy Hochul
- 7:32Speaker 3: in January gave her state of the state speech saying
- 7:36Speaker 3: that it's unaffordable to live in New York. Well, what
- 7:38Speaker 3: have you been doing for five years? You're the one
- 7:40Speaker 3: that created this problem. You're the one that made us
- 7:42Speaker 3: the highest taxed state in America. You approved 40 utility
- 7:46Speaker 3: rate hikes.
- 7:47Speaker 2: Look in the mirror. So people, they're very smart. I
- 7:53Speaker 2: don't sell people short in New York State. They're smart.
- 7:55Speaker 2: They're sophisticated.
- 7:56Speaker 3: From one state to the other, they know what's going on,
- 7:58Speaker 3: and that's why we're going to win this election.
- 8:01Speaker 1: Bruce Blakeman, just set the record straight. You have agreed
- 8:04Speaker 1: to many debates. There should be a real debate, like
- 8:08Speaker 1: Channel 2, Channel 4, channels. You've agreed to them and
- 8:11Speaker 1: she's turned them all down, right?
- 8:15Speaker 3: I agreed to CBS, NBC, ABC, Fox 5, Spectrum, News 12.
- 8:23Speaker 3: Everybody that asked me to debate Kathy Hochul, I accepted.
- 8:29Speaker 3: She picked the smallest media outlet in the state of
- 8:33Speaker 3: New York.
- 8:34Speaker 2: People couldn't find it.
- 8:36Speaker 3: They had to go on YouTube to see it or
- 8:38Speaker 3: they had to see it after it was live.
- 8:41Speaker 2: But you know what?
- 8:43Speaker 3: People started paying attention after the debate. They realized that
- 8:47Speaker 3: she couldn't support any of her policies. And they realized
- 8:50Speaker 3: that I had a record of making people happy, cutting taxes,
- 8:53Speaker 3: making safer communities. So I got a big bump from
- 8:57Speaker 3: the debate, even though not enough people saw it. But
- 8:59Speaker 3: that just shows you Kathy Hochul has no record to
- 9:03Speaker 3: run on. And that's why you compare my record running
- 9:06Speaker 3: a county that's larger than eight states and getting reelected.
- 9:10Speaker 3: In a landslide in a county with 110,000 more Democrats
- 9:13Speaker 3: versus her record of just failed policies and making people unhappy. Yeah.
- 9:18Speaker 1: Now, she's actually the first governor in history to refuse
- 9:21Speaker 1: to do a second debate. No one else has ever
- 9:23Speaker 1: done that before, I believe.
- 9:25Speaker 3: Well, again, she's hiding and she doesn't want to appear
- 9:31Speaker 3: in public. It was hysterical at all of the public
- 9:37Speaker 3: events that she goes to. She has security standing around her,
- 9:41Speaker 3: so she has no interaction with the general public. I
- 9:44Speaker 3: wade into the public. I want to meet people. I
- 9:48Speaker 3: want to talk to them. I'm not afraid to debate issues.
- 9:51Speaker 3: I'm not afraid to discuss policies. And I want to
- 9:54Speaker 3: hear about common, everyday people's problems, because that's what you
- 9:57Speaker 3: should do as governor. And she lives in this ivory tower.
- 10:01Speaker 3: And look what she said about black kids. She said
- 10:04Speaker 3: black kids in the Bronx don't know what a computer is. Well, Kathy,
- 10:08Speaker 3: they get computers in sixth grade. They're better at a
- 10:11Speaker 3: computer than you'll ever be. Or what she said about
- 10:14Speaker 3: upstate New Yorkers. She said upstate New Yorkers weren't sophisticated
- 10:18Speaker 3: enough To make important decisions. Well, I've traveled upstate many
- 10:23Speaker 3: times over the last 35 years, and I can tell
- 10:25Speaker 3: you they have something that Kathy Hochul doesn't have. They
- 10:28Speaker 3: have good sense, good common sense, and good judgment. So
- 10:33Speaker 3: she looks down on the people of this state. I
- 10:35Speaker 3: want to uplift the people of this state.
- 10:37Speaker 1: Well, everybody get out and vote. That's the key.
- 10:39Speaker 2: Turn out.
- 10:40Speaker 1: I know you're supporting Bruce Blakeman, but get out and vote.
- 10:43Speaker 1: Do the early voting. It'll be much easier. Go to BlakemanForNewYork.com.
- 10:47Speaker 1: You can donate there, BlakemanForNewYork.com, but get out and vote
- 10:51Speaker 1: this week. Bruce Blakeman, good luck.
- 10:55Speaker 2: Thank you so much, Mark.
- 10:56Speaker 3: You're a good friend, and thank you for giving me
- 10:59Speaker 3: this opportunity to be on your show. You have so
