  Hi everyone! Now, this is the first time that we've even done a podcast just me. That's

  not true, actually. We have done one podcast episode before, an interview with Lauren

  the Lawyer, all about prenups, and that was just because Vic was on a plane on a way
• 0:46
  to London. But we have never really done podcasts separately. It's always been the two of us,
• 0:53
  and we've had a massive, massive wake, and we were just like actually exhausted. Moving
• 1:00
  countries, there's been a lot going on at work, heaps of exciting things in the pipeline.

  We've actually decided we want to start raising capital or getting investors for the
• 1:11
  Curve, which was something we were kind of going to keep not to ourselves, because we're
• 1:15
  always pretty open about what we're working on and how things are going and everything
• 1:20
  like that. But we've got some really big plans for the Curve. We want to launch a invest
• 1:24
  in cloud. I don't know if you saw that on social media. We put something up in December
• 1:29
  and like 500 people in the first 24 hours were like, yes, I'd love to join this. And so
• 1:35
  we've been wanting to launch it for months. We just haven't had a chance to focus on it.

  And so we kind of have come to a conclusion where we're like, okay, I think we need to get
• 1:44
  investors, we need more resource. It's just Vic and I full time at the moment to be able
• 1:48
  to grow the Curve to what we want it to be. And this week has just been so busy for us
• 1:55
  both personally and professionally. I'm staying out in the country with some family
• 2:00
  at the moment and Vic's staying with a boyfriend in London, trying to house hunt. She was meant
• 2:04
  to be moving flats this week. Her dogs flown over from New Zealand, we've been talking
• 2:09
  to some investors. It's just honestly been a lot. And we just decided that it was best
• 2:15
  to not do a Curve weekly this week, just to give ourselves a break, give ourselves some
• 2:19
  time to focus on some other things that are really important. And I just thought rather
• 2:26
  than putting something on social media, it might be nice to explain why and just say,
• 2:31
  hi and say, we really appreciate how many of you come and listen to this podcast every
• 2:35
  Monday. And it's amazing to see the podcast numbers growing and that just basically means
• 2:42
  that you're sharing this with so many of your friends, which honestly brings so much
• 2:47
  joy to what we're doing. And also this, I think just like intense drive to become a global
• 2:53
  brand, like we know how important it is to educate women when it comes to investing.

  It's, there's like $3.2 trillion that would be invested if we were investing at the same
• 3:04
  rate as men. And that is just like so exciting. And the world that we could imagine if that
• 3:11
  money was being invested is just like really, really exciting, but it's also just this giant
• 3:16
  problem that we really want to tackle. We want to be able to reach women all over the world.

  And for that, we need more resources. And so hence the idea of going down the funding route.

  But it's like an overwhelming space and something we've never done before. So yeah,
• 3:30
  this week was just one of those weeks who were like, wow, we really just need a breather.
