- 0:01Speaker 1: Now, Ron Verb on NewsRadio 570 WKBN.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Back to it, NewsRadio 570 WKBN. Welcome to a, well,
- 0:11Speaker 2: kind of a gloomy, overcast Friday afternoon in my neck
- 0:14Speaker 2: of the woods. We have, well, showers, rain showers here
- 0:19Speaker 2: on Tiffany Boulevard in Boardman. Sometimes some sprinkles coming down
- 0:23Speaker 2: and sometimes they pause and sometimes they return. But it's
- 0:26Speaker 2: one of those days, kind of overcast and rainy to
- 0:29Speaker 2: say the least. And temperatures are dropping. We're down to
- 0:32Speaker 2: 59 degrees. Things are going to get a lot colder
- 0:35Speaker 2: than what we're used to. But after all, it is
- 0:37Speaker 2: the middle of October. Already October 16th. Anyway, good afternoon.
- 0:42Speaker 2: We'll be with you right up until 6 o'clock tonight.
- 0:44Speaker 2: You're on NewsRadio 570 WKBN. As it stands right now,
- 0:49Speaker 2: the Guardians pregame should be at 7.35 tonight. here on
- 0:55Speaker 2: NewsRadio 570 WKBN. First pitch a little after 8 o'clock.
- 1:00Speaker 2: As of right now, the game is a go in Cleveland.
- 1:03Speaker 2: I was checking with them in Cleveland, and it's very
- 1:06Speaker 2: windy up there, but the game is a go for now.
- 1:10Speaker 2: And I'll keep you posted if that changes. I'll let
- 1:12Speaker 2: you know immediately if that changes. There is, tomorrow night,
- 1:18Speaker 2: the Guardians game. Just as a side note, there's going
- 1:20Speaker 2: to be some changes tomorrow. If you follow the Guardians,
- 1:25Speaker 2: as I do, as many of you do here on
- 1:27Speaker 2: 570 WKBN, because we love Tom Hamilton and Rosie, that tomorrow,
- 1:32Speaker 2: because of our commitments to YSU football, They've got a
- 1:36Speaker 2: game on tomorrow night at the same time that the
- 1:39Speaker 2: Guardians play. So what does that mean, Ron? It means
- 1:42Speaker 2: that the YSU football game will be on 570 WKVN.
- 1:45Speaker 2: And the Guardians tomorrow night will be playing on our
- 1:50Speaker 2: sister station, 1390 WNIO. All right, so the Guardians game
- 1:54Speaker 2: tomorrow night would be on 1390 WNIO because of the
- 1:58Speaker 2: conflict with YSU football. And tonight's Guardians game will be
- 2:02Speaker 2: right here on 570 WKVN, weather permitting. starting at 735.
- 2:06Speaker 2: So I think I got all that out of the way.
- 2:09Speaker 2: Following that, I certainly hope you wrote all that down
- 2:12Speaker 2: and you followed that intently. All right, because that's what
- 2:15Speaker 2: we want from you. You're on the air.
- 2:18Speaker 3: Hey, Ron.
- 2:19Speaker 2: Emanuel.
- 2:21Speaker 4: I wanted to call you and tell you how happy
- 2:23Speaker 4: I was and how great America is. It's been in
- 2:27Speaker 4: the last 30 days and how good things are going.
- 2:31Speaker 4: But you messed all that up. You mentioned Tom Hamilton,
- 2:34Speaker 4: and I thought about Bubba Ganoush. Man, why'd you do that?
- 2:38Speaker 2: Well, he was lame the other day when he did
- 2:40Speaker 2: his Tom Hamilton thing. I understand.
- 2:42Speaker 4: He wasn't lame. He was horrible.
- 2:43Speaker 2: I know, but he does it really well. He just
- 2:46Speaker 2: wasn't feeling the mojo that day. That day he was
- 2:49Speaker 2: not a mojo.
- 2:50Speaker 4: What have you done for me lately, Ron? I don't
- 2:52Speaker 4: care what you did last week. What are you doing now?
- 2:53Speaker 4: That was horrible.
- 2:54Speaker 2: You're very demanding on me. You're very demanding. It's very difficult.
- 2:58Speaker 4: If he was sitting beside you, I would take the
- 3:02Speaker 4: mic from him.
- 3:03Speaker 2: All right. In other words, he better start stepping up
- 3:08Speaker 2: his game on his Tom Hamilton, or that's it is
- 3:11Speaker 2: what you're saying. I'm going to lay the gauntlet down
- 3:13Speaker 2: to him because you have now inspired me to be
- 3:16Speaker 2: a man again.
- 3:17Speaker 5: Thank you.
- 3:18Speaker 4: You know, but I hear you talk about the weather
- 3:21Speaker 4: and things like that. But, you know, I had things,
- 3:25Speaker 4: you know, I wanted to comment on what you and
- 3:27Speaker 4: Boss Lady was talking about when she made a comment
- 3:29Speaker 4: towards me. And I wanted to comment on Ted Conservative
- 3:34Speaker 4: talking about, you know, people going out to eat all
- 3:36Speaker 4: the time. Well, heck, if you live by yourself, it'd
- 3:38Speaker 4: be sometimes it's cheaper to go out to eat and
- 3:40Speaker 4: you ain't got to wash no dishes or cook nothing.
- 3:41Speaker 4: But I'm not going to. I found out something today
- 3:46Speaker 4: that just made my day. It's telling me that help
- 3:51Speaker 4: is on its way. And not only that, I'm going
- 3:56Speaker 4: to ask you, G2, Rich, I'm sorry for calling the
- 4:02Speaker 4: field at once. I'm sorry about that, Rich, right, and
- 4:06Speaker 4: Boss Lady, because listen, President Obama is coming to Cleveland
- 4:12Speaker 4: just last week. President Trump was in Youngstown. Is that
- 4:17Speaker 4: America at its best or what? And the question I'm
- 4:21Speaker 4: going to ask you guys is, look at the crowd
- 4:23Speaker 4: and see if the crowd is different from the Covelli
- 4:26Speaker 4: Center than Cleveland. Now, go ahead.
- 4:29Speaker 2: Well, okay, I'll study the crowd is what you're saying.
- 4:34Speaker 2: So Obama is coming now. Will you be driving to
- 4:36Speaker 2: Cleveland to see your hero?
- 4:39Speaker 4: You better believe it. Really?
- 4:41Speaker 2: You're going to drive him up?
- 4:43Speaker 4: I watched him. I watched him. And I told people,
- 4:46Speaker 4: and people got mad at me when I told them that, right?
- 4:48Speaker 4: Because I was standing there with the guys, Tim Ryan
- 4:52Speaker 4: and the guys, at Austin Town over at the high school.
- 4:57Speaker 4: And he is so short. I think I could beat
- 4:59Speaker 4: him in basketball.
- 5:00Speaker 2: Who, Obama?
- 5:02Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 5:02Speaker 6: He's short. He's a little dude.
- 5:05Speaker 2: I never noticed that. He's a big basketball player, though.
- 5:08Speaker 2: I think he might have the speed on you, though.
- 5:12Speaker 4: Listen, I'm going to take them in the paint and
- 5:13Speaker 4: rough them up. I'm from Warren. That's how we play basketball.
- 5:17Speaker 4: But I want you to know, I'm so happy he's coming.
- 5:20Speaker 4: I'm going to go see him. And, you know, and
- 5:21Speaker 4: then now you just had our sitting president, President Trump.
- 5:28Speaker 2: Donald J.
- 5:29Speaker 3: Trump.
- 5:29Speaker 6: And it's like.
- 5:31Speaker 4: democracy, Ohio, this is America, man. I am so proud of.
- 5:35Speaker 2: This country right now.
- 5:36Speaker 3: I'm sorry, Rob.
- 5:37Speaker 2: Did you know this? They say, I was just reading
- 5:39Speaker 2: an article, and this won't surprise you, and it shouldn't
- 5:42Speaker 2: surprise any of you. They say that this community, once again,
- 5:47Speaker 2: that our community, Mahoning, Trumbull, Columbiana counties, this area, once again,
- 5:53Speaker 2: will be a major factor in determining who the governor
- 5:55Speaker 2: will be and more than likely who the senator will be.
- 5:59Speaker 2: That this area will, our area, as it has done
- 6:03Speaker 2: in the past, as you well know, plays a pivotal
- 6:07Speaker 2: role in determining who it will be, this particular area,
- 6:13Speaker 2: as far as governor is concerned and senator.
- 6:17Speaker 4: Okay, well, what I'm saying is this, Ron. I can
- 6:19Speaker 4: remember when I first started talking to you decades ago,
- 6:22Speaker 4: You used to say something, and you couldn't understand it.
- 6:26Speaker 4: And you would say, listen, this area, you walk in there,
- 6:31Speaker 4: if it's a D, you vote for it. I can't
- 6:33Speaker 4: believe this area is just voting for Ds.
- 6:36Speaker 2: Okay.
- 6:36Speaker 4: And it changed to this area just voting for the R.
- 6:41Speaker 4: Now I'm going back, it's a toss-up. What do you think?
- 6:44Speaker 2: I think that it's... I'll give you an analysis of that.
- 6:49Speaker 2: I think that's the Trump effect. I think a lot
- 6:51Speaker 2: of people went in and voted for Trump and they
- 6:54Speaker 2: voted a Republican ticket. And do I think that'll happen again?
- 6:59Speaker 2: I think that there'll be a lot of people that
- 7:01Speaker 2: will vote a straight Republican tickets that also voted for Trump.
- 7:05Speaker 2: But I do think that there are those people that
- 7:06Speaker 2: are saying that they're... Hang on, I'm not done. I'm
- 7:12Speaker 2: not done with my analysis. I have to finish my analysis, okay?
- 7:16Speaker 2: All right, so I think you'll see that, but I
- 7:18Speaker 2: don't think you'll see it in the level that it
- 7:22Speaker 2: was in the past. I do think you'll see people
- 7:24Speaker 2: that voted for Trump that will might vote for Democrats
- 7:28Speaker 2: this time around because James Carville said it. It's economy stupid.
- 7:32Speaker 2: Did you happen to see when you say that? Think
- 7:35Speaker 2: about this. So, you know, so what you got going
- 7:37Speaker 2: on in Ukraine? I mean, Zelensky lobbed some more money.
- 7:43Speaker 2: power at the Russian refineries and did some more damage there.
- 7:48Speaker 2: And in Saudi Arabia, the Houthis, you know, the Houthis, Emmanuel,
- 7:55Speaker 2: the Houthis did some destruction in Saudi Arabia on their
- 8:00Speaker 2: oil infrastructure. So as a result of that, did you
- 8:03Speaker 2: notice how gas prices spiked up immediately? So I'm looking
- 8:07Speaker 2: at them here. We're in my neck of the woods,
- 8:10Speaker 2: and they're like 4, what did I see, like 4.15, 4.19?
- 8:13Speaker 2: Let's just say 4.19. And so they're 4.19 a gallon
- 8:19Speaker 2: in a manual. That's without the state tax on it.
- 8:23Speaker 2: We had the state tax, which is like 30 cents removed.
- 8:26Speaker 4: Don't get gas in Pennsylvania.
- 8:28Speaker 2: We had the state tax removed like 30 cents. And
- 8:32Speaker 2: one day it was like $ 3 and something. Next thing
- 8:35Speaker 2: you know, Zelensky lobbing some more damage to the Russian
- 8:40Speaker 2: oil infrastructure and the Houthis doing some damage in Saudi Arabia.
- 8:44Speaker 2: The oil prices go up again. And even without the
- 8:48Speaker 2: state gas tax, we're right back to $ 4. 19 a gallon.
- 8:52Speaker 2: Can you imagine if that state tax was there? We'd
- 8:56Speaker 2: be paying $ 4. 50 a gallon right now. Go ahead.
- 8:59Speaker 4: Okay, well, two things. First of all, if it wasn't
- 9:02Speaker 4: an election right now, they wouldn't have got rid of
- 9:04Speaker 4: the gas tax. But what I'm saying is this. I
- 9:07Speaker 4: understand what you said about Ukraine. But what you don't
- 9:11Speaker 4: realize is that Eli Musk, he controls all those spy satellites.
- 9:17Speaker 4: He shut down Ukraine's ability to send those missiles over there.
- 9:23Speaker 4: So Russia, and he stopped Ukraine's ability to stop the
- 9:28Speaker 4: Russian missiles from coming in there. The Russians are bombing
- 9:31Speaker 4: them to death. And as far as the Huta go, right,
- 9:37Speaker 4: they have been blockaded for 13 years. They can't get
- 9:41Speaker 4: medicine to the kids. Saudi Arabia will not let, you
- 9:44Speaker 4: can't fly over top of it. And they started this because, listen,
- 9:49Speaker 4: when the leader of Iran got killed, I don't know
- 9:52Speaker 4: if we killed him or Israel, when he died, they
- 9:57Speaker 4: flew over. to UAE. Doggone Saudi Arabia got mad and said, well,
- 10:05Speaker 4: you can't fly over there, man. You can't go over there.
- 10:07Speaker 4: You can't fly. We have no fly. But they had
- 10:10Speaker 4: Iranian diplomats on there. So what did Saudi Arabia do?
- 10:14Speaker 4: They wouldn't bomb the airport they were supposed.
- 10:15Speaker 7: To land at.
- 10:17Speaker 4: That's what got the hooties mad.
- 10:20Speaker 2: The hooties are upset. But all of this is affecting...
- 10:23Speaker 2: Can I ask you something, Ron? I think there's a
- 10:26Speaker 2: strategery here, to quote George Bush.
- 10:28Speaker 4: Wait, Ron, let me ask you one question. Let me
- 10:30Speaker 4: ask you a question.
- 10:30Speaker 2: Yes, yes, I'm here for you.
- 10:32Speaker 4: Okay, does it matter that this man sat there and
- 10:35Speaker 4: told us he could fix it in 24 hours? Now
- 10:40Speaker 4: he's saying he can't fix it? Where is that accountability at, Ron?
- 10:44Speaker 2: That's right. He said he would solve it as soon
- 10:46Speaker 2: as he got elected. And he's failed to do that.
- 10:49Speaker 2: And now five years later, incidentally.
- 10:52Speaker 4: Where's the consequences of that?
- 10:53Speaker 2: Five years later. I think Trump is pretty well fed up.
- 10:56Speaker 4: Where's the consequences, Ron?
- 10:57Speaker 2: That's right. I don't know. I think Trump is fed
- 11:00Speaker 2: up with Zelensky because Zelensky isn't listening to Trump when
- 11:02Speaker 2: he says you must stop destroying the oil infrastructure. And
- 11:09Speaker 2: you're creating a major problem, not just in the United States,
- 11:12Speaker 2: but in the world. And now you've got the hoodies
- 11:14Speaker 2: doing it. Have you heard of the hooties? Have you
- 11:17Speaker 2: ever heard of the, are you familiar with hooties and
- 11:19Speaker 2: the blowfish over there doing that?
- 11:21Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 11:22Speaker 2: Okay.
- 11:23Speaker 4: Well, let me tell you this. Let me tell you this, right?
- 11:25Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 11:25Speaker 4: None of that stuff matters, right? Because help is on
- 11:29Speaker 4: the way. President Obama is bringing people to vote. You
- 11:35Speaker 4: have a good weekend, my brother.
- 11:36Speaker 2: All right. Thank you. And it's help is on the way.
- 11:39Speaker 2: Who hates fossil fuels more than the Democrats? You think
- 11:41Speaker 2: help is on the way? Joe Biden said it himself.
- 11:44Speaker 2: The Democrats have said it. They hate fossil fuels. So
- 11:50Speaker 2: what do they do? They put all the regulations. You
- 11:52Speaker 2: can't drill on federal lands. You can't drill offshore. They
- 11:55Speaker 2: do all of that stuff when it comes to energy.
- 11:57Speaker 2: Their energy policies are god-awful. Because they hate fossil fuels.
- 12:04Speaker 2: Something we all need and use. You know, like natural gas, gasoline, diesel,
- 12:09Speaker 2: jet fuel. They hate that stuff. I'm not speculating. They
- 12:14Speaker 2: say it. Their policies reflect it. So do you think
- 12:18Speaker 2: for one minute I could sit around saying, boy, I'm
- 12:20Speaker 2: going to vote for the Democrats because that's going to
- 12:22Speaker 2: be better for my gasoline prices? You should have your
- 12:24Speaker 2: head examined if you think like that. There isn't a
- 12:27Speaker 2: stitch of truth to that. Absolutely not a stitch of
- 12:32Speaker 2: truth to it. I would never vote for Those folks,
- 12:39Speaker 2: I do not want to go back to the craziness.
- 12:42Speaker 2: I don't want to go back to ripping down statues. Oh,
- 12:45Speaker 2: we got to take this statue down. Remember that? Taking
- 12:47Speaker 2: the statues down, renaming Fort Hood. You couldn't say, ladies
- 12:51Speaker 2: and gentlemen, boys and girls. You couldn't say mother and father.
- 12:56Speaker 2: It was birth person. I mean, I remember all the lunacy,
- 13:01Speaker 2: and I want you to remember it. If you were white,
- 13:05Speaker 2: you didn't get anywhere on your own. It was all
- 13:07Speaker 2: white privilege. If you were white, you were a racist
- 13:09Speaker 2: and a white supremacist. If you spoke up at your
- 13:13Speaker 2: school against some of the shenanigans going on, your mothers
- 13:17Speaker 2: were viewed as terrorists. Tampons in a boy's room, pushing transgenderism,
- 13:24Speaker 2: hiring based on if you're gay or skin color, not
- 13:27Speaker 2: on merit. The sexual and social agenda, would anybody want
- 13:32Speaker 2: to go back to that? Not me. And Sherrod Brown
- 13:34Speaker 2: supported every bit of that. You think I want to
- 13:38Speaker 2: go back to that? Absolutely not. You think I want
- 13:41Speaker 2: to go back to an open border? Millions of people
- 13:45Speaker 2: coming in who they think are better than you, watering
- 13:48Speaker 2: down your citizenship, giving them all this kind of stuff
- 13:51Speaker 2: at your tax dollar. You don't think they believe in that?
- 13:55Speaker 2: Look at who's fighting them, taking them out of the
- 13:57Speaker 2: country and they're here illegally. Look at who cites with
- 13:59Speaker 2: people who are illegally against the people that are trying
- 14:02Speaker 2: to enforce our laws. You think I'd want to go
- 14:06Speaker 2: back to that? The open border? Because this is all
- 14:09Speaker 2: the stuff you go back to with that lunatic Sherrod
- 14:11Speaker 2: Brown who believes in all of that stuff with Joe Biden.
- 14:14Speaker 2: He voted with them on this stuff. So if my
- 14:21Speaker 2: gas price is $ 4. 20, do you think for one stinking
- 14:24Speaker 2: minute I would vote for any of these Democrats and
- 14:27Speaker 2: their lunacy on the social, sexual agenda, on their energy policies?
- 14:33Speaker 2: As I remind all of you, it was Obama, you know,
- 14:36Speaker 2: the green energy. It was Obama, Kerry, Biden, and Clinton.
- 14:40Speaker 2: It's the war on coal. See, this is my opinion.
- 14:44Speaker 2: They said it. It's the war on coal. We've got
- 14:46Speaker 2: to regulate these coal plants out of business and insist
- 14:49Speaker 2: that they be torn down. So we tore down Samanis,
- 14:52Speaker 2: a perfectly good coal plant with all the scrubbers in it,
- 14:55Speaker 2: and they insist that they be torn down so they
- 14:57Speaker 2: couldn't be turned back on. Didn't have anything to replace
- 15:01Speaker 2: the power that they've taken away. Oh, we'll put some
- 15:04Speaker 2: windmills up, some solar panels. Don't care. Energy prices skyrocket
- 15:08Speaker 2: because demand goes up. And we rip stuff down that
- 15:11Speaker 2: we can't turn back on. That's the policy, whether you
- 15:15Speaker 2: like it or not, of the Democrats. Now, I don't
- 15:20Speaker 2: know about you, whether you're a Democrat or Republican, but
- 15:23Speaker 2: I think you have to have inexpensive utilities like electricity,
- 15:26Speaker 2: something we all need, natural gas to heat our house.
- 15:29Speaker 2: gasoline and propane and this kind of stuff. And I
- 15:32Speaker 2: understand that there's a glitch in it right now with
- 15:34Speaker 2: these prices as a result of this war situation. And
- 15:39Speaker 2: I'm not a fan of what's going on in Iran.
- 15:43Speaker 2: But I always say the following, and I must say it.
- 15:45Speaker 2: I put a comma there. I don't know everything that
- 15:47Speaker 2: these guys know, nor do you. I don't know what
- 15:50Speaker 2: they're not telling me about why they're doing this. I
- 15:54Speaker 2: speculate that he was brought into it as a result
- 15:56Speaker 2: of Israel's But I don't know. There could be more
- 16:01Speaker 2: to it than that. I don't know. They're not going
- 16:05Speaker 2: to tell me everything they know. But I think there's
- 16:11Speaker 2: a big effort by the people that hate this country
- 16:13Speaker 2: to try to derail Trump with the midterms, and they
- 16:17Speaker 2: might very well be successful so we can go back
- 16:19Speaker 2: to two years of stagnation. And I'm not for that.
- 16:23Speaker 2: You're on the air.
- 16:25Speaker 6: Hey, Ron.
- 16:26Speaker 8: Hey.
- 16:27Speaker 9: Hey, next time Emanuel says he can beat Barack Obama
- 16:31Speaker 9: in basketball, ask if he can beat Michelle Obama in basketball.
- 16:36Speaker 2: All right, I'll ask him.
- 16:38Speaker 9: But, yeah, I early voted today.
- 16:42Speaker 2: Oh, tell me about it. Okay, tell me, you early voted,
- 16:46Speaker 2: and why did you do that? I'm going to interview
- 16:49Speaker 2: this guy, folks. Why did you early vote? I mean,
- 16:51Speaker 2: I vote on Election Day.
- 16:54Speaker 9: It's convenient, you know. I, uh.
- 16:56Speaker 2: Stand by for me. Let me do my break. Hang on.
- 16:58Speaker 2: I'm going to come back. I want to come back
- 16:59Speaker 2: and pick this guy's brains. He early voted. All right.
- 17:02Speaker 2: I want to find out more about that. Glad you
- 17:04Speaker 2: tuned in. Ron Furb from the kingdom of Mahoney.
- 17:10Speaker 10: For 50 years, Sherrod Brown voted how he was 570 WKBN.
- 17:15Speaker 2: All right. So you early voted. And to tell me
- 17:18Speaker 2: about that experience now, did you vote a Republican ticket?
- 17:24Speaker 4: Uh, They didn't ask me.
- 17:27Speaker 9: I thought that you can vote independent, basically.
- 17:30Speaker 2: No, I know you can. It's a general election. You
- 17:33Speaker 2: can vote for... But you have your choice of Democrats
- 17:36Speaker 2: or Republicans, right? This isn't a primary.
- 17:39Speaker 9: Yeah, well, I did not vote for... I'll tell you,
- 17:43Speaker 9: I did not vote for Sherrod Brown, and I did
- 17:45Speaker 9: not vote for Amy Acton.
- 17:47Speaker 2: Okay.
- 17:48Speaker 9: I will not vote for those people.
- 17:50Speaker 2: Nor will I. Nor will I.
- 17:53Speaker 9: But, you know, not like I'm... hugely enthusiastic about, of, uh,
- 17:59Speaker 9: of anybody else, but there's no way I was voting
- 18:01Speaker 9: for them.
- 18:01Speaker 6: No. Yeah.
- 18:03Speaker 2: I'm with you on that.
- 18:05Speaker 9: Um, but, um, yeah, I early voted because it's convenient.
- 18:08Speaker 9: There isn't as much of the hoopla, you know, outside
- 18:11Speaker 9: as in voting day. And, uh, you know, at Oak Hill,
- 18:15Speaker 9: you can, uh, walk across the street and take a
- 18:18Speaker 9: little walk through the, uh, Oak Hill cemetery there in
- 18:21Speaker 9: the fall. It's kind of pretty, uh, you know, clear
- 18:24Speaker 9: mind of, uh, awful candidates that you have to vote for.
- 18:29Speaker 2: Oh God. Yeah.
- 18:36Speaker 8: Okay.
- 18:38Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 18:38Speaker 9: That, uh, that Amy Acton, there's no way. I mean,
- 18:43Speaker 9: I think she's, I think she's cuckoo. Uh, honestly, I
- 18:45Speaker 9: think she's just something wrong with her. Uh, I kind
- 18:48Speaker 9: of worked in the sector that she was involved in.
- 18:51Speaker 9: I'll just put it that way. And, uh, The directives
- 18:56Speaker 9: and stuff that she signed off on are just.
- 19:00Speaker 3: Bat poop crazy.
- 19:01Speaker 9: I mean, I know so many small businesses, people that
- 19:05Speaker 9: just loathe her. I mean, loathe her.
- 19:08Speaker 2: Well, let's be I go back to say this. Here's
- 19:11Speaker 2: all you need to know about Amy Acton. She quit
- 19:14Speaker 2: when the going got tough. I mean, you know, she
- 19:16Speaker 2: was the state's doctor and she quit. She couldn't she
- 19:19Speaker 2: couldn't take it anymore. And she will not debate Ramaswamy. Now, OK,
- 19:23Speaker 2: I don't need to know any more than that. She
- 19:25Speaker 2: won't debate her opponents and she quits. So I'm going
- 19:29Speaker 2: to vote for her for governor. And she's a far
- 19:32Speaker 2: left person. I mean, I don't support, I don't want
- 19:35Speaker 2: this state, in my opinion, to go to that far
- 19:37Speaker 2: left wacko stuff that you see in these other states.
- 19:41Speaker 2: That's insane.
- 19:45Speaker 4: Exactly.
- 19:46Speaker 9: Yeah, another great point.
- 19:47Speaker 4: No debating. I mean, that's just.
- 19:50Speaker 9: I mean, talk about the issues with them at least something,
- 19:53Speaker 9: but she just thinks she doesn't have to because there's
- 19:57Speaker 9: just going to be a lot of people that are
- 19:58Speaker 9: just going.
- 19:58Speaker 2: To And I think there probably will be. But I'm
- 20:04Speaker 2: trying to say, you've got to think about that. If
- 20:06Speaker 2: you're saying, listen, as much as I bellyache about Iran
- 20:10Speaker 2: and I don't agree with Trump, as I say, I
- 20:12Speaker 2: don't know everything these guys know either. And I've got
- 20:13Speaker 2: to acknowledge that. I don't know what they know. And
- 20:18Speaker 2: the reality is... the Democrats are worse when it comes
- 20:21Speaker 2: to fossil fuels. I mean, they're absolutely God awful on,
- 20:27Speaker 2: on this situation. And I don't, I don't support that.
- 20:31Speaker 2: There's no doubt in my mind, Iran wants to see,
- 20:35Speaker 2: obviously in the midterms, the Republicans lose because they think
- 20:38Speaker 2: it's to their advantage. Well, I'm not going to fall
- 20:41Speaker 2: for the trap they're setting on no way.
- 20:43Speaker 7: No, heck no.
- 20:46Speaker 9: You know, it's, The thing that irritates me, and I
- 20:49Speaker 9: was talking to some friends, like if I'm going to
- 20:55Speaker 9: compare how this midterm is going with a football game,
- 20:59Speaker 9: you know, Trump and the Republicans were in the lead
- 21:02Speaker 9: for the first quarter, had a sizable lead. And then
- 21:06Speaker 9: second quarter, they fumbled every kickoff, and they have no defense. And,
- 21:11Speaker 9: you know, I heard, you know, it's so close. They
- 21:15Speaker 9: might blow it. They might lose Congress.
- 21:17Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 21:19Speaker 2: I mean, if you ask me, do I think Trump
- 21:21Speaker 2: potentially has Iran in a in a tough spot?
- 21:25Speaker 3: I do.
- 21:26Speaker 2: I don't think Iran's or all Iran has to do
- 21:28Speaker 2: to win is survive. But I think it's getting tough
- 21:30Speaker 2: as time goes on. I think that they're twisting the
- 21:33Speaker 2: screws and everything. And it can be a matter of
- 21:37Speaker 2: time before this thing gets resolved in our favor. Well,
- 21:40Speaker 2: some of the early inklings from some of the people
- 21:43Speaker 2: out of Iran that are in these decision-making capabilities are
- 21:46Speaker 2: saying that they've agreed that there won't be any nuclear
- 21:49Speaker 2: weapons or nuclear dust and this kind of stuff. Well,
- 21:52Speaker 2: I'm glad you voted. It sounds to me like you
- 21:54Speaker 2: voted the right way. Appreciate your call. Thank you, my friend.
- 21:56Speaker 3: News Radio 570 WKVN. Medicare open.
- 22:02Speaker 12: Enrollment begins Thursday, giving millions of Americans a chance to
- 22:05Speaker 12: review or change their coverage for next year. Enrollees have
- 22:09Speaker 12: until December 7th to choose plans between traditional Medicare and
- 22:12Speaker 12: Medicare Advantage plans and prescription drug coverage. The changes next
- 22:17Speaker 12: year include a higher Part D out-of-pocket cap and deductible.
- 22:21Speaker 12: along with the end of temporary federal premium subsidies. The
- 22:25Speaker 12: NCAA is suing Ohio Governor Mike DeWine over his executive
- 22:29Speaker 12: order that would allow college athletes who graduated in high
- 22:32Speaker 12: school in 2022.
- 22:33Speaker 5: To play a fifth year.
- 22:34Speaker 12: DeWine says those athletes deserve the same opportunities as students
- 22:38Speaker 12: in other states, but the NCAA is arguing that the
- 22:42Speaker 12: governor has no authority to override its rules. The NCAA
- 22:46Speaker 12: wants a federal judge to block his order, saying that
- 22:49Speaker 12: it would give Ohio schools an unfair competitive advantage. I'm
- 22:53Speaker 12: Sandy Collins.
- 22:54Speaker 3: Listen on the.

- 23:09Speaker 2: Heavy delays again on.
- 23:10Speaker 1: Now, Ron Verb on NewsRadio 570 WKBN.
- 23:16Speaker 2: TGIF, it's October 16th. It's 58 degrees. NewsRadio 570 WKBN.
- 23:21Speaker 2: You're on the air.
- 23:23Speaker 7: Ronnie.
- 23:24Speaker 2: May I help you, sir?
- 23:27Speaker 14: Ronnie, let's have this scenario.
- 23:28Speaker 4: Listen.
- 23:30Speaker 14: You be quiet and I'll talk. I want all your
- 23:32Speaker 14: listeners to listen. The most powerful man in the free
- 23:36Speaker 14: world The president of the United States comes to your
- 23:40Speaker 14: fair city. No one from City Hall is there to
- 23:43Speaker 14: greet him. I don't care if you're a Democrat. It's
- 23:46Speaker 14: the president of the United States comes to your city.
- 23:50Speaker 14: And you don't send a representative.
- 23:53Speaker 9: Here, Mr.
- 23:53Speaker 14: President, the key of the city, the Youngstown, from representative
- 23:57Speaker 14: from the mayor. I'd like to have someone from the
- 24:00Speaker 14: city explain why there wasn't no one there. from the
- 24:04Speaker 14: city to greet the president, the most powerful man in
- 24:11Speaker 14: the world comes to your town, and you can't get
- 24:14Speaker 14: up and go see him? Well, I don't care if
- 24:16Speaker 14: you're a Democrat, Republican.
- 24:18Speaker 8: It's the president.
- 24:21Speaker 14: What do you have to say to that, Ron? Some
- 24:23Speaker 14: of your more intelligent listeners call in and see what
- 24:26Speaker 14: they say about that.
- 24:27Speaker 2: All right, will do. Gotcha. Thank you, Vincent. You're on
- 24:31Speaker 2: the air.
- 24:35Speaker 4: I say the Guardians, the Browns, and Ohio State will
- 24:38Speaker 4: win this weekend. So I'm going to go three for three.
- 24:42Speaker 2: Guardians, Browns, Ohio State. Okay. Duly noted, they're supposed to
- 24:46Speaker 2: play tonight. We shall see. I mean, obviously, you got rain,
- 24:52Speaker 2: you got wind. I checked before going on here. It
- 24:55Speaker 2: was windy and what have you up at the ballpark.
- 24:58Speaker 6: But.
- 25:00Speaker 2: Right now, the game is scheduled for 735 pregame, a
- 25:04Speaker 2: little after 8, first pitch. And if that changes, I'll
- 25:08Speaker 2: let you know. And we'll have coverage right here with
- 25:10Speaker 2: Tom Hamilton on NewsRadio 570 WQEN. I always got to
- 25:13Speaker 2: remind people, tomorrow there's a conflict. Obviously, we carry YSU football.
- 25:18Speaker 2: And so that's going to be tomorrow night. It's a
- 25:20Speaker 2: night game for YSU. So tomorrow, tomorrow, Saturday, for the
- 25:25Speaker 2: coverage of the Guardians, which will also be at 8
- 25:27Speaker 2: o'clock tomorrow night, that will be on our sister station,
- 25:31Speaker 2: 1390 WNIO. We've got to move the Guardians because we've
- 25:34Speaker 2: got two things going on at once. Okay?
- 25:37Speaker 4: Okay. See you later.
- 25:38Speaker 2: See you later. You're on the air.
- 25:40Speaker 15: I actually think Trump should have came and given us more,
- 25:45Speaker 15: not what Vince said, we shouldn't have given him more.
- 25:48Speaker 8: He came to Youngstown because he needs the votes here.
- 25:50Speaker 3: That's the reason.
- 25:51Speaker 6: Why he came here.
- 25:51Speaker 15: He needs us to save him. And what did he
- 25:55Speaker 15: come and bring us? And I'm a huge Trump supporter,
- 25:58Speaker 15: but I'll call it.
- 25:58Speaker 16: Like I see it.
- 26:01Speaker 2: Well, I agree with you. I was just reading prior
- 26:04Speaker 2: to going on the air how vital this community is
- 26:06Speaker 2: once again in these elections, how vital this community is
- 26:10Speaker 2: and how important it is. So that's why you see
- 26:13Speaker 2: Trump coming here. That's why you see all these appearances by.
- 26:17Speaker 2: these people that are running for these offices on a
- 26:20Speaker 2: statewide and federal level, because they know this. The Democrats
- 26:25Speaker 2: know they need people to cross over and go back
- 26:27Speaker 2: to voting Democrat tickets, and the Republicans know they need
- 26:30Speaker 2: to keep them voting Republican.
- 26:33Speaker 15: And every two years, the president, anybody running for Senate,
- 26:38Speaker 15: anybody running for governor, they all show up, and then
- 26:42Speaker 15: they're gone for two years. Nothing ever happens here. And
- 26:44Speaker 15: then every two years, They come back, do the same
- 26:47Speaker 15: thing all over and over again, and we get nothing here.
- 26:50Speaker 15: When are we going to have some people to stand
- 26:52Speaker 15: up and say, you know what, I'm not worried about
- 26:53Speaker 15: getting reelected. What I want is something done for the
- 26:56Speaker 15: people who put me in this office.
- 26:57Speaker 16: I want to see a yard sign.
- 26:58Speaker 17: I don't want to see Amy Acton.
- 27:00Speaker 15: I don't want to see Sherrod Brown. I want to
- 27:02Speaker 15: see somebody's name and then in parentheses below it saying,
- 27:05Speaker 15: I don't really even want.
- 27:06Speaker 4: To do this.
- 27:07Speaker 6: I want somebody to run for an office.
- 27:09Speaker 15: Say, I'm running for one term, I'm just going to
- 27:11Speaker 15: get stuff done, and I don't care who I kick
- 27:13Speaker 15: off or make bad or in my own party, don't
- 27:16Speaker 15: get re-elected, whatever.
- 27:18Speaker 6: I want somebody to be able to come every two years.
- 27:20Speaker 15: When the president, I don't care if it's a Democrat
- 27:22Speaker 15: or Republican, senator, governor, whoever, and say, what are you
- 27:27Speaker 15: going to do for us?
- 27:28Speaker 6: Because you're here for one reason, our votes, and it
- 27:30Speaker 6: never happens. So that's the response to Vince I would give.
- 27:33Speaker 15: Now, beside that, I'm I'm really getting, not to change
- 27:38Speaker 15: the subject here, but I spend a lot of time with,
- 27:41Speaker 15: you know, some of the younger population, who's like 23, 25,
- 27:45Speaker 15: you know, around there, getting started in life. And I
- 27:48Speaker 15: keep having these conversations with them. Most of them are
- 27:51Speaker 15: going to, you know, have pretty good jobs. I look
- 27:54Speaker 15: at how much debt they have right now, how much
- 27:57Speaker 15: money they're probably going to be making, and how they're
- 27:59Speaker 15: actually going to get started. And it keeps getting worse
- 28:02Speaker 15: and worse. And these younger 20-year-olds, they see the writing
- 28:07Speaker 15: on the wall. And when I talk to them, they're
- 28:09Speaker 15: almost depressed about it because they don't know how they're
- 28:12Speaker 15: going to buy a home. They don't know how they're
- 28:14Speaker 15: going to pay off their student debt. They don't know
- 28:16Speaker 15: how they're going to make enough to enjoy the fruits
- 28:19Speaker 15: of their labor, as you always call it. And it's
- 28:22Speaker 15: starting to get worse and worse when you start getting
- 28:25Speaker 15: younger people that know they can't make enough or save
- 28:28Speaker 15: enough to really have what the other generations had as
- 28:31Speaker 15: far as a home or a retirement.
- 28:34Speaker 9: And so they just.
- 28:34Speaker 15: Start living more for the day.
- 28:36Speaker 6: They buy $ 8.
- 28:37Speaker 15: Starbucks because they say, well, I can't save enough money,
- 28:40Speaker 15: so I might as well just enjoy the time I
- 28:42Speaker 15: have now and do this. I'm not saying it's the
- 28:43Speaker 15: smartest thing ever, but you're seeing a lot more of it.
- 28:46Speaker 15: And it's just progressively getting worse and worse. And I
- 28:49Speaker 15: know the boomers out there aren't going to like this,
- 28:51Speaker 15: but I really think we need a housing collapse in
- 28:54Speaker 15: this country to right the ship because the price of
- 28:59Speaker 15: homes just continuously, continuously, continuously goes up. And a lot
- 29:03Speaker 15: of older people have most of their assets tied up
- 29:06Speaker 15: in their house. Their value, their net worth, a lot
- 29:10Speaker 15: of it is the equity they have in their home.
- 29:13Speaker 15: And the reason they don't sell those homes is because
- 29:15Speaker 15: they're paid off.
- 29:16Speaker 9: Now, I'm not talking about everybody.
- 29:18Speaker 15: Some people can't afford their property taxes. People are getting
- 29:21Speaker 15: charged out the wazoo for them already. And I'm not
- 29:24Speaker 15: saying it's everybody, but the country as a whole. We
- 29:26Speaker 15: need a lot of these houses to transfer hands into
- 29:29Speaker 15: some younger generations so that we can continue moving this
- 29:32Speaker 15: country forward so we have a population in a country
- 29:35Speaker 15: in the future. Because there's a lot of, again, these
- 29:38Speaker 15: younger 20-year-olds, they're not optimistic about the future.
- 29:41Speaker 6: It's really depressing. It is.
- 29:45Speaker 2: And I will say that I think the My generation
- 29:50Speaker 2: has created this problem for them, and I see it
- 29:53Speaker 2: making the problem worse. I mean, I don't see– I just,
- 29:57Speaker 2: as I've explained time and time again, I don't think
- 29:59Speaker 2: that people understand the damage they are doing by voting
- 30:03Speaker 2: for all these property taxes. As I say, I will
- 30:05Speaker 2: not vote for the MRDD levy. And they're going to
- 30:07Speaker 2: appeal to you on every emotional avenue they can. This
- 30:10Speaker 2: is a ridiculously expensive levy for everybody. I will not
- 30:15Speaker 2: vote for it. If you vote for that on your
- 30:18Speaker 2: property taxes, I believe you should have your head examined.
- 30:21Speaker 2: It's a foolish thing to do. And the reality is,
- 30:26Speaker 2: once again, we continue to raise property taxes. That continues
- 30:29Speaker 2: to make it difficult for young people to afford to
- 30:31Speaker 2: buy a home just based on the burden of property taxes.
- 30:35Speaker 2: My property taxes are $ 400- something a month. When I bought
- 30:38Speaker 2: Biltford Manor in 1996, my house payment was $ 850, I think,
- 30:40Speaker 2: a month. Well, if you look over the years, my
- 30:49Speaker 2: property taxes are now beyond half of what my house
- 30:51Speaker 2: payment initially was. This is craziness. So if you go
- 30:56Speaker 2: to buy it today, let's say you would have at
- 30:59Speaker 2: the least a $ 1, 500, $ 2, 000 a month house payment in
- 31:03Speaker 2: addition to the $ 400, $ 430 a month in property taxes.
- 31:08Speaker 2: That's making it so it prices too many people on
- 31:12Speaker 2: the market.
- 31:12Speaker 4: And look what you just said there.
- 31:14Speaker 15: So let's just call it $ 2, 500 a month.
- 31:17Speaker 6: To live in your house.
- 31:19Speaker 15: If you get a 30-year mortgage, you're in essence paying
- 31:21Speaker 15: $ 2, 500 a month to rent your house.
- 31:23Speaker 7: Correct.
- 31:23Speaker 15: Would you ever rent your own home.
- 31:25Speaker 2: For $ 2, 500 a month?
- 31:25Speaker 18: No.
- 31:32Speaker 15: You'd say that's lunacy.
- 31:34Speaker 2: And keep this in mind. That's before you pay the
- 31:36Speaker 2: electric bill, before you buy any groceries, or before you
- 31:39Speaker 2: buy insurance. You're 100% correct. That expense, now all these
- 31:44Speaker 2: other expenses. And God forbid if you've got to replace
- 31:48Speaker 2: a furnace or air conditioning.
- 31:50Speaker 6: Right.
- 31:50Speaker 15: And think about how.
- 31:52Speaker 6: Quickly we forget things.
- 31:54Speaker 4: COVID... You want to talk about Dr.
- 31:57Speaker 15: Fauci pleading the fifth, where it came from, the lab, regardless.
- 32:00Speaker 6: It came from China.
- 32:02Speaker 15: We spent 2020, all of 2020, in a complete cluster,
- 32:07Speaker 15: all because of COVID. And the worst thing that happened,
- 32:11Speaker 15: other than the horrible things, a lot of people did die.
- 32:15Speaker 15: But think of all the kids that were socially disrupted
- 32:18Speaker 15: from being out of school, or the teachers that did
- 32:23Speaker 15: a number of different things. Think about when interest rates
- 32:26Speaker 15: went down to near zero, and you could refinance your
- 32:29Speaker 15: house and have a 30-year mortgage at 3%. If you
- 32:33Speaker 15: have a 3% mortgage.
- 32:34Speaker 9: Right now, are you going to move?
- 32:36Speaker 6: No.
- 32:36Speaker 4: You'd be insane.
- 32:38Speaker 15: So now we have locked in all these people that
- 32:41Speaker 15: bought homes in 2020 for 30 years that aren't going
- 32:44Speaker 15: to be selling their homes, not only because it's almost
- 32:47Speaker 15: financially irresponsible than to go get an 8% mortgage if
- 32:51Speaker 15: you have pretty decent credit, yet alone mild credit if
- 32:55Speaker 15: you're just starting out in life. So now all these
- 32:57Speaker 15: homes aren't going on the market. And then the price
- 33:00Speaker 15: of homes, I don't have to tell anybody, has gone
- 33:02Speaker 15: just through the roof. If you would have told somebody
- 33:05Speaker 15: in the greater Youngstown community that a three-bedroom, one-and-a-half bath
- 33:09Speaker 15: house in, you pick the town, would go for $ 300, 000,
- 33:12Speaker 15: you'd laugh them out of the conversation. Some of these homes, $ 500, 000.
- 33:18Speaker 15: The average home price in the United States is $ 400, 000.
- 33:24Speaker 15: If you want to put down 20% on that, I
- 33:26Speaker 15: don't know a lot of people starting out like that
- 33:28Speaker 15: at $ 80, 000 in cash sitting around to do all that,
- 33:32Speaker 15: let alone pay off their college debt, pay off their car,
- 33:36Speaker 15: pay all their other expenses, too. We're putting people so
- 33:39Speaker 15: far behind the eight ball. As I said, these Trump
- 33:42Speaker 15: accounts that have come out, I think are one of
- 33:43Speaker 15: the greatest things that could have ever happened. Not only
- 33:46Speaker 15: did they start the accounts for the kids in 25
- 33:49Speaker 15: and 26, but now they're opening up so that anybody
- 33:52Speaker 15: can get them. That time that you're able to put
- 33:55Speaker 15: that money away the sooner you possibly can and let
- 33:58Speaker 15: compounding interest work for you is going to work wonders.
- 34:01Speaker 15: But that's for the kids that are born now. It's
- 34:03Speaker 15: not going to help the 20-year-olds, because I know you
- 34:06Speaker 15: don't like to hear, Ron, but Social Security is in
- 34:08Speaker 15: a world of hurt, and I don't know if it's
- 34:10Speaker 15: going to be there for the 20-year-olds down the road.
- 34:12Speaker 15: So what are they supposed to do? I'm not even
- 34:14Speaker 15: just talking about the 20-something-year-olds.
- 34:17Speaker 6: I'm talking about the 30-year-olds, heck, even the 4-year-olds.
- 34:19Speaker 15: If you're working at all, look at our entire economy.
- 34:22Speaker 15: The retirement in the United States of America is based
- 34:26Speaker 15: off of the stock market. It is impossible to have
- 34:30Speaker 15: a stock market collapse politically.
- 34:32Speaker 6: You can't do it.
- 34:33Speaker 15: It is political suicide. If the stock market collapsed 20%,
- 34:38Speaker 15: you could just kiss every politician goodbye because everybody's retirement
- 34:41Speaker 15: would go kaput. Because everybody's retirement.
- 34:44Speaker 2: Now is a 401k. But don't think that that isn't
- 34:49Speaker 2: a possibility. See, people don't understand that. Incidentally, as you're talking,
- 34:53Speaker 2: last night, those of you that missed it, last night
- 34:56Speaker 2: John Arnold was on from 6 to 7 on the
- 34:59Speaker 2: Money Talk program. And I just say this, if it's
- 35:02Speaker 2: a post on the podcast, I just thought he gave
- 35:05Speaker 2: some great, and I do mean great, analysis between six
- 35:08Speaker 2: and seven last night as far as what he thought
- 35:10Speaker 2: was going on economically, where he thought the market was going,
- 35:13Speaker 2: and his concerns. And I thought it was really, yeah.
- 35:17Speaker 6: You're absolutely right.
- 35:18Speaker 15: The stock market can collapse 20%. It happened in March
- 35:22Speaker 15: of 2020, and it went down like a V. It
- 35:24Speaker 15: went down, and guess what they did? They printed $ 4
- 35:27Speaker 15: trillion and injected it into the economy, and it jumped
- 35:30Speaker 15: right back up.
- 35:31Speaker 4: The stock market can go down.
- 35:33Speaker 6: The stock market can go down.
- 35:35Speaker 2: I would counter that. I tell everyone the same thing. Listen,
- 35:39Speaker 2: and you bring up an excellent point. More and more
- 35:42Speaker 2: people are forced into the stock market now with their
- 35:44Speaker 2: retirements because of the rate of inflation. So they're more
- 35:49Speaker 2: heavily in a stock market. Bonds suck. So the reality
- 35:54Speaker 2: is your retirement, if you're retired, is at risk as
- 35:59Speaker 2: well as if you're close to retirement, but you really
- 36:02Speaker 2: don't have much of a choice. But I remind everybody,
- 36:04Speaker 2: the stock market can go down and it can stay down.
- 36:07Speaker 2: And it has in the past and it will in
- 36:09Speaker 2: the future. Everybody thinks that it'd go down and come
- 36:12Speaker 2: up next week or to go down and it'd be
- 36:13Speaker 2: back up. That is not always going to be the case.
- 36:16Speaker 2: Sometimes it goes down and will stay down.
- 36:19Speaker 15: I can't disagree with you more.
- 36:20Speaker 6: It could go down, yes.
- 36:22Speaker 15: But the United States of America depends on the population
- 36:27Speaker 15: maintaining their retirement, or there will be an actual revolution
- 36:31Speaker 15: in January.
- 36:32Speaker 2: Well, let me put it this way. I think when
- 36:35Speaker 2: you're starting to see interest rates get around 4% and 5%
- 36:38Speaker 2: on savings, you see money come out of the stock
- 36:43Speaker 2: market and go into treasuries or go into... CDs because.
- 36:47Speaker 15: You can't make, but what are you going to do?
- 36:49Speaker 15: You're going to put your money into a bond that
- 36:51Speaker 15: makes 5%.
- 36:52Speaker 4: Now, here's the thing.
- 36:53Speaker 15: If you hold that bond in maturity, it's okay. But
- 36:56Speaker 15: the actual price of the bond, when that rate goes up,
- 36:58Speaker 15: the price of the bond continues to go down. That's
- 37:01Speaker 15: why interest rates are going up.
- 37:02Speaker 4: Nobody wants to buy the debt.
- 37:03Speaker 2: I don't necessarily think about bonds with that. I'm talking
- 37:07Speaker 2: to two-year treasuries, and I'm talking about CDs and the
- 37:10Speaker 2: interest rate on those. When you get around 4% or 5%
- 37:13Speaker 2: in just a bank CD, a lot of people go
- 37:16Speaker 2: out of the market and go in that because you
- 37:19Speaker 2: might not keep up with inflation, but you don't have
- 37:24Speaker 2: the risk. You don't have the risk of losing as well.
- 37:27Speaker 15: You don't think you have the risk. But what happens
- 37:29Speaker 15: when your nation's $ 40.
- 37:30Speaker 6: Trillion in debt?
- 37:32Speaker 15: See, that was the old way.
- 37:33Speaker 6: Of thinking still.
- 37:33Speaker 15: There's no risk in U.S. Treasuries because it's the United States. Yeah,
- 37:39Speaker 15: we could print money into it nauseam. That's why the
- 37:41Speaker 15: stock market can go down, but they won't let it
- 37:43Speaker 15: stay down. They will inject trillions of dollars into the
- 37:47Speaker 15: economy by printing more of it. Or even worse, they
- 37:49Speaker 15: might do something crazier next time. I would not put
- 37:53Speaker 15: it past the Federal Reserve or the United States government
- 37:56Speaker 15: the next time we have a catastrophe.
- 37:58Speaker 4: To just by u.s.
- 38:00Speaker 15: Equities to buy stocks to prop up the entire stock
- 38:03Speaker 15: market at they've just like the Trump account they I
- 38:06Speaker 15: wouldn't put it past them to actually put stock into
- 38:11Speaker 15: those accounts just to inject liquidity and and funds into
- 38:15Speaker 15: the market because again if you had an economy if
- 38:18Speaker 15: you had a population where the stock market without twenty
- 38:20Speaker 15: percent what went down thirty percent in your in your
- 38:23Speaker 15: retired what if you're about to retire right what that
- 38:25Speaker 15: would do to the economy it would crater it. And
- 38:28Speaker 15: we live on like eggshells with this stuff because it
- 38:32Speaker 15: takes one bad thing. You know, you always get hit
- 38:34Speaker 15: by the bus you didn't see. And if it goes.
- 38:37Speaker 4: Down, what happens?
- 38:38Speaker 15: We're going to print more money and we're going to
- 38:40Speaker 15: make more inflation and it's going to perpetuate the problem
- 38:43Speaker 15: even worse. So what happens when the rates keep going up?
- 38:47Speaker 15: The economy is going to stifle. So then they're going
- 38:49Speaker 15: to have to print more money to inject it to
- 38:51Speaker 15: stimulate the economy, which is going to make inflation go worse.
- 38:54Speaker 15: And we're going to be in this perpetual problem moving
- 38:57Speaker 15: forward because it's not one politician or the other politician.
- 39:00Speaker 15: It's the whole entire system we're in. It's built for that.
- 39:03Speaker 15: It's built to eventually disrupt. That's why this K-shaped economy
- 39:07Speaker 15: is getting so worse. We have a whole lot of
- 39:09Speaker 15: haves and then a whole lot of have-nots. Now, Elon
- 39:12Speaker 15: Musk is a trillionaire, but he also just made a
- 39:14Speaker 15: car yesterday that has jets in it, and they could
- 39:17Speaker 15: do backflips.
- 39:18Speaker 4: Okay? Did you see that?
- 39:19Speaker 2: No.
- 39:20Speaker 15: You didn't see the Roadster debut from last night? If
- 39:23Speaker 15: you haven't seen it, just look at it. He put
- 39:26Speaker 15: the SpaceX jets on the bottom and sides of the car.
- 39:29Speaker 15: so it could fly and do flips.
- 39:33Speaker 6: It's actually real.
- 39:34Speaker 4: It's not AI.
- 39:35Speaker 2: Cool. All right. Hang in there. All right. Alec, NewsRadio 570.
- 39:40Speaker 2: Don't you care to run for it? That was on
- 39:43Speaker 2: Thursday night's John Arnold's Money Talk show. I mean, in
- 39:45Speaker 2: all seriousness, I thought his analysis last night and what
- 39:50Speaker 2: he said he would do as far as investing was
- 39:53Speaker 2: pretty insightful as far as the type of diversification he
- 39:58Speaker 2: was talking about last night. I just thought it was really,
- 40:01Speaker 2: really good. I thought it was some good sound advice.
- 40:03Speaker 2: If you missed it, you might want to pick that
- 40:05Speaker 2: up on a podcast. 3.52 in the afternoon. Ron Verp
- 40:07Speaker 2: from the Kingdom of Mahoney, and I'll be right back.
- 40:11Speaker 10: For 50 years, Sherrod Brown voted how he was told.
- 40:15Speaker 10: 1975 to today, different presidents, different issues, but Sherrod Brown's
- 40:20Speaker 10: vote never changed. Higher taxes, Brown voted for them. Open borders,
- 40:26Speaker 10: Brown voted for them. Sex changes for kids. Sherrod Brown
- 40:30Speaker 10: supported that, too. When Washington Democrats needed Brown's vote, he
- 40:34Speaker 10: gave it every time. Sherrod Brown voted with Biden.
- 40:39Speaker 5: 97 percent.
- 40:40Speaker 2: Schumer, 95.
- 40:42Speaker 10: Bernie Sanders, 92. That was the Democrat Party he joined
- 40:47Speaker 10: 50 years ago. But times have changed. Now extremists are
- 40:51Speaker 10: taking over. They're not asking for your vote. They're coming
- 40:55Speaker 10: for your country. and Sherrod Brown.
- 40:57Speaker 2: Will fall in line. He always does. Sherrod Brown. Times changed.
- 41:02Speaker 3: His vote never does.
- 41:04Speaker 10: Paid for by SLF PAC and not authorized by any
- 41:06Speaker 10: candidate or candidate's committee.
- 41:08Speaker 2: SLFPAC.org. SLF PAC is responsible for the content of this ad.
- 41:11Speaker 6: Hey, is your roof leaking?
- 41:13Speaker 3: KBN.
- 41:14Speaker 2: All right, back to it. News Radio 570 WKBN. And
- 41:17Speaker 2: Ron Verb, you're on the air. Hi, Ron.
- 41:20Speaker 19: This is.
- 41:22Speaker 20: Anyhow, I think the last few weeks were very... wasn't
- 41:26Speaker 20: too good on your program. But this week, you are
- 41:29Speaker 20: very good and nice. I do know that we don't
- 41:34Speaker 20: know what Trump is up to. And we need to
- 41:38Speaker 20: live right and pray for him is.
- 41:40Speaker 21: The key to it all.
- 41:42Speaker 20: So have a good day. God bless you.
- 41:44Speaker 2: Bye. All right. You're on air.
- 41:46Speaker 14: Vincenzo had the comment.
- 41:50Speaker 8: I really liked it.
- 41:51Speaker 2: Yes, it's a guru from Gerard, ladies and gentlemen. Go ahead, guru.
- 41:55Speaker 8: Yeah, no, I want to compliment him on his observation.
- 41:58Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, the.
- 41:59Speaker 8: President came to town, and I thought the mayor was
- 42:02Speaker 8: an independent.
- 42:03Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 42:04Speaker 8: Was he? I thought so. He would think he would
- 42:08Speaker 8: shake his hand or something.
- 42:09Speaker 7: You know, thanks.
- 42:10Speaker 8: Maybe make some kind of relationship with him where you
- 42:15Speaker 8: might get something good for the city.
- 42:16Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 42:17Speaker 8: I did notice that it was good. And, you know,
- 42:19Speaker 8: I feel better about retiring these days now that Alec
- 42:22Speaker 8: is on the game. If they don't stop printing money, period.
- 42:26Speaker 22: Two things run.
- 42:29Speaker 8: ORC chapter 5713 and 5715. That's the reappraisals that happen
- 42:36Speaker 8: every six to three years. Seriously, somebody, okay, stop talking
- 42:42Speaker 8: nonsense about all the stuff you're going to do and
- 42:45Speaker 8: at least stop the damage there. Only appraise when it's
- 42:53Speaker 8: When property changes hands. You know, all the work I'm
- 42:56Speaker 8: doing on my place, right? The reward I'm going to
- 42:59Speaker 8: get for that is they're going to charge me more
- 43:00Speaker 8: for living here or else they'll kick me out. That's
- 43:04Speaker 8: what you guys.
- 43:05Speaker 9: Are doing, man.
- 43:06Speaker 4: You know what I mean?
- 43:07Speaker 8: Think about the logic of it. Go buy a house cheap,
- 43:11Speaker 8: fix it up, and we'll charge you three times as
- 43:14Speaker 8: much for it.
- 43:16Speaker 22: You know what I mean?
- 43:17Speaker 8: Like, wow, you guys are just all about.
- 43:19Speaker 6: Incentive, aren't you? Yes.
- 43:21Speaker 8: Incentive to tear the place to shreds.
- 43:26Speaker 2: It does make you wonder, doesn't it? I mean, the
- 43:29Speaker 2: bottom line is I dwell on it so much. I mean,
- 43:32Speaker 2: I don't think that people understand the damage that they
- 43:35Speaker 2: are doing by the increased burden of property taxes. Listen,
- 43:40Speaker 2: I support Denise. I signed the petition to get a
- 43:43Speaker 2: constitutional amendment signed. to put an end to property taxes
- 43:46Speaker 2: because I don't see, to quote G2, I think you've
- 43:49Speaker 2: got to blow it up to fix it because I
- 43:51Speaker 2: don't see any solutions. Long-term standby guru, standby. I'm coming
- 43:54Speaker 2: back to Guru of Gerard with this great insight. He's
- 43:57Speaker 2: sitting there, you know, like a Buddhist monk. He's like
- 44:02Speaker 2: the guru down there. NewsRadio 570, WKBN, and Ron Verb.
- 44:05Speaker 2: We approach 4 o'clock on this dreary day from the
- 44:08Speaker 2: kingdom of Mahoning, and I'll be right back.
- 44:09Speaker 6: I'm Dr.
- 44:10Speaker 23: Cheryl Figliano with the Centers for Hearing.
- 44:12Speaker 13: 100 years as the Valley's trusted news, weather, and talk station.
- 44:17Speaker 3: 570 WKBN, Youngstown.
- 44:27Speaker 23: Not so fast on Lisa Brady.
- 44:29Speaker 24: Fox News, that midterm message from the head of the
- 44:32Speaker 24: Republican National Committee.
- 44:33Speaker 25: We have strong candidates. They have incredibly weak candidates.
- 44:36Speaker 23: RNC Chair Joe Grutter is telling Fox News.
- 44:39Speaker 25: It's all about turnout now. That's why the president's going
- 44:41Speaker 25: to all these rallies. He's an absolute machine getting the
- 44:43Speaker 25: job done. But I'm looking forward to some big upsets
- 44:46Speaker 25: and just wait till November 3rd.
- 44:48Speaker 24: Pointing to tax cuts and border security as part of
- 44:51Speaker 24: an incredible success story, while Democrats say the Trump agenda
- 44:55Speaker 24: is failing. The president set to hold his latest midterm
- 44:58Speaker 24: rally in Georgia. Just a week after President Trump named
- 45:01Speaker 24: her White House press secretary, a senior official says Katie
- 45:05Speaker 24: Zachariah is transitioning out of the role after President Trump
- 45:08Speaker 24: told her he would reconsider if he were her.
- 45:11Speaker 26: The move comes following days of scrutiny over her 14-minute
- 45:15Speaker 26: briefing this week and questions about her legal credentials.
- 45:19Speaker 27: I don't think that Katie should be made to suffer
- 45:22Speaker 27: like she's suffering.
- 45:23Speaker 21: At the hands of the press.
- 45:25Speaker 2: So I will talk.
- 45:26Speaker 5: To her as soon as I get back.
- 45:28Speaker 26: President Trump's Zachariah has been brutalized by the media. Zachariah
- 45:32Speaker 26: was a frequent commentator on TV networks defending President Trump's policies.
- 45:36Speaker 24: Fox's Jared Halpern at the White House. The deadly mass
- 45:39Speaker 24: shooting at a school in Bend, Oregon, remains under investigation
- 45:43Speaker 24: now about 24 hours after the 911 call was made.
- 45:46Speaker 19: The caller said they were being shot at by someone
- 45:49Speaker 19: with a long gun outside the school. Police say the
- 45:51Speaker 19: teen shot at locked doors to get inside Silver Rail
- 45:54Speaker 19: Elementary here, but was shot and killed by an armed
- 45:57Speaker 19: Good Samaritan with a concealed carry permit who followed him in.
- 46:00Speaker 24: Box is Sarah Allegra. The Good Samaritan has two daughters
- 46:03Speaker 24: in the school. Police say the 16-year-old gunman killed three
- 46:07Speaker 24: children and a teacher before he was killed, also critically
- 46:10Speaker 24: injuring a seven-year-old.
- 46:12Speaker 23: And a teacher.
- 46:12Speaker 24: A sell-off on Wall Street, the Dow down 176 points
- 46:18Speaker 24: at the bell, but that's off session lows.
- 46:21Speaker 23: America is listening to Fox News.
- 46:26Speaker 3: This is the Fox News Rundown Podcast.
- 46:29Speaker 1: Here's the story.
- 46:30Speaker 19: Politics and policies taking place here in the nation's capital.
- 46:33Speaker 5: Here's why it matters.
- 46:34Speaker 25: What you see here is endless amounts of barbed wire.
- 46:37Speaker 23: Here's what's changing.
- 46:39Speaker 19: Sources are telling us that the president is inside the
- 46:41Speaker 19: Oval Office.
- 46:42Speaker 3: Here's who it affects.
- 46:43Speaker 23: Carrier deployments used to be six months. Here's what happens next.
- 46:46Speaker 2: It's news broken down by the people who break it.
- 46:49Speaker 5: That's the rundown.

- 47:25Speaker 5: A to Z dependable services, plumbing, septic, heating, cooling, and
- 47:28Speaker 5: one-day baths.
- 47:30Speaker 2: Looks like you're dealing with a crash still.
- 47:33Speaker 1: Now, Ron Verb on News Radio 570 WKBN.
- 47:38Speaker 2: Well, 4.05 in the afternoon. Welcome to Friday, October 16th.
- 47:42Speaker 2: It's 58 degrees on a wet, rainy, overcast Friday, and
- 47:49Speaker 2: it's going to be chillier. So this is what I
- 47:52Speaker 2: was telling the guru here. David Pepper, the Democrat candidates
- 47:56Speaker 2: for lieutenant governor, said the gubernatorial race will likely be
- 48:01Speaker 2: decided by the results in Mahoning and particularly Trumbull counties.
- 48:07Speaker 2: Pepper said before a Trumbull County Democratic Party dinner on Thursday,
- 48:10Speaker 2: Trumbull County is almost the perfect bellwether these days for
- 48:15Speaker 2: how you can do it in Ohio. If it is
- 48:18Speaker 2: close to even or blue, the candidate will win the
- 48:22Speaker 2: state if they're a Democrat. So we view this area
- 48:26Speaker 2: as sort of really the center to winning the state.
- 48:30Speaker 2: And I would agree with that. And that's why I
- 48:32Speaker 2: would encourage everybody in Trumbull County to use your head
- 48:35Speaker 2: and vote for Ramaswamy. Amy Acton won't debate Ramaswamy. Amy
- 48:41Speaker 2: Acton quit as the state's doctor during COVID, couldn't take
- 48:44Speaker 2: the pressure. Do you know what Amy Acton stands for?
- 48:47Speaker 2: Do you want this state to become a far-left progressive state,
- 48:50Speaker 2: a sanctuary city with the lunatic policies of the far-left?
- 48:57Speaker 2: Do you want to increase taxes? More taxes on you
- 49:02Speaker 2: because Democrats think it's not your money, it's their money?
- 49:05Speaker 2: I mean, you've got to think about that if you're
- 49:10Speaker 2: anywhere around here. All right, Guru, go ahead, please. All right.
- 49:15Speaker 8: I think that's right.
- 49:20Speaker 6: Yes, I do.
- 49:21Speaker 23: I hear it.
- 49:23Speaker 2: I hear it.
- 49:41Speaker 8: I'm to the left of me.
- 49:43Speaker 4: Jumping to the right.
- 49:44Speaker 6: Here I am stuck in the middle with one.
- 49:49Speaker 4: Hey.
- 49:50Speaker 2: Yeah. That's so good, man. That is so good.
- 49:54Speaker 8: You there?
- 49:56Speaker 22: Yes.
- 49:57Speaker 8: I actually was, uh, the reason I was doing that,
- 49:59Speaker 8: cause I was, um, practicing it up a little bit
- 50:03Speaker 8: for you, but I'm not there yet.
- 50:05Speaker 2: Yeah, you're close. You're definitely close.
- 50:07Speaker 8: Oh, I'm there vocally, I think.
- 50:10Speaker 2: Yes.
- 50:11Speaker 8: I've got to figure out what I'm going to do.
- 50:13Speaker 2: But I don't think you're stuck in the middle at all.
- 50:16Speaker 2: I don't think you're stuck in the middle at all.
- 50:18Speaker 2: I think you'll vote the right way. I mean, you
- 50:21Speaker 2: see this pepper is saying all of these people are
- 50:24Speaker 2: far lefties. I mean, do you want this state to
- 50:26Speaker 2: be like some of these other far-left states and the
- 50:29Speaker 2: chaos that's going there? Do you want to pay more
- 50:31Speaker 2: in taxes? Do you want to be a sanctuary city?
- 50:34Speaker 2: Do you want to do all this craziness that, you know,
- 50:36Speaker 2: the Democrats stand for? We're against ICE and people who
- 50:40Speaker 2: come here illegally should be able to stay. All the
- 50:42Speaker 2: craziness that you see going on, absolutely not. I mean, really,
- 50:47Speaker 2: if you vote for Amy Acton, you should have your
- 50:49Speaker 2: head examined. I'm serious about that. Ramaswamy's a pretty smart guy.
- 50:53Speaker 2: Give him a shot. See what he can do. I mean,
- 50:55Speaker 2: I think that's... And he's talking about kicking your property
- 51:00Speaker 2: taxes back to pre-COVID. And, I mean, that's the direction
- 51:04Speaker 2: I want to go in. Go ahead, Guru.
- 51:08Speaker 8: Well, you know I already voted, and we're pretty much
- 51:12Speaker 8: in line. I had a few candidates that I knew personally, but.
- 51:18Speaker 29: So, yeah.
- 51:20Speaker 8: Hey, one thing I want to say before I shut off.
- 51:22Speaker 4: For the weekend.
- 51:25Speaker 8: Shout out to JJ. Hey, call in and let us
- 51:26Speaker 8: know you're all right, man.
- 51:28Speaker 2: Please.
- 51:28Speaker 8: I hope you talk to him. We all care about you, man. So,
- 51:31Speaker 8: call in.
- 51:32Speaker 2: All right.
- 51:33Speaker 22: And, yeah.
- 51:35Speaker 6: I don't know, Ron.
- 51:36Speaker 8: I don't know where this is going.
- 51:38Speaker 4: I just.
- 51:38Speaker 8: I mean, this economy.
- 51:41Speaker 8: You talk about people at restaurants and stuff. We did
- 51:44Speaker 8: go out to eat once. Who was it? Sometimes when
- 51:49Speaker 8: you're eating by yourself, it might be cheaper to go
- 51:52Speaker 8: to a restaurant, depending on what you order, because the
- 51:54Speaker 8: price of food is not cheap, and a lot of
- 51:59Speaker 8: times you'll waste it if you're not eating it right then.
- 52:02Speaker 8: So there's that. But, yeah, it's less. A lot of
- 52:06Speaker 8: businesses are going out of business, and I'm pretty much
- 52:09Speaker 8: in just a sit-and-hold situation. I've had some jobs besides
- 52:13Speaker 8: the teaching and everything. I start to get calls now,
- 52:15Speaker 8: but none of them make any sense.
- 52:18Speaker 4: You know, there's all this.
- 52:19Speaker 8: I was talking with younger people, too, and, you know,
- 52:22Speaker 8: there's a lot of jobs, but they don't pay a
- 52:24Speaker 8: whole lot. And with the inflation and everything happening, you've
- 52:28Speaker 8: got to pay. You know, that's how everything gets away
- 52:32Speaker 8: from you because as time goes by, like inflation raises, right,
- 52:35Speaker 8: and prices go up. And a lot of people will potentially,
- 52:39Speaker 8: if you're young, you leave your job and you go
- 52:41Speaker 8: get another one. And that's when you renegotiate at the
- 52:43Speaker 8: new prices and you end up with a job where
- 52:45Speaker 8: you're paying more. But if you stick at.
- 52:47Speaker 6: Your same job, you're just stuck.
- 52:49Speaker 4: And if you have a fixed income, you're just screwed.
- 52:52Speaker 8: And that all needs to be dealt with.
- 52:53Speaker 2: Well, you're right. And here, let me give you two examples.
- 52:56Speaker 2: And incidentally, I totally agree with that. And I remind everybody,
- 53:01Speaker 2: we weren't concerned. We weren't the least bit concerned about inflation.
- 53:06Speaker 2: until COVID. So we weren't the least bit concerned. We
- 53:10Speaker 2: didn't even notice it's like 1%, 1.2%. Oh, dude, I.
- 53:13Speaker 8: Will correct you because you forget all the times that
- 53:15Speaker 8: I kept saying we've got to stop.
- 53:17Speaker 2: But just hang on. I'm talking about inflation. It wasn't
- 53:21Speaker 2: a factor before COVID. Last time it was really a factor,
- 53:24Speaker 2: and I was around for it, was during Jimmy Carter.
- 53:27Speaker 2: And so Volcker did some economic policies that led to
- 53:31Speaker 2: a pretty significant recession where a lot of companies closed,
- 53:34Speaker 2: people lost their job, and it brought prices down, but
- 53:37Speaker 2: there was a terrible price that was paid by it.
- 53:39Speaker 2: But this all started... the inflation with COVID because what
- 53:43Speaker 2: did they do? The supply lines were closed. They started
- 53:46Speaker 2: handing out all this money. They started giving employers money
- 53:49Speaker 2: for their employees. So they pocketed all the money they
- 53:52Speaker 2: would normally be spending. And then they would spend it
- 53:56Speaker 2: on stuff. And then they gave people money and they
- 53:59Speaker 2: would spend it on stuff. The government policies created demand
- 54:02Speaker 2: by handing out all this so-called free money. And they
- 54:06Speaker 2: created demand. The supply lines weren't open. Supply and demand
- 54:10Speaker 2: that created inflation. And that's why we saw under these
- 54:14Speaker 2: policies and Biden did more and more of that with
- 54:18Speaker 2: the Inflation Reduction Act, which was nonsense. You saw inflation
- 54:21Speaker 2: in double digits under Biden. He created this inflation. Now,
- 54:26Speaker 2: I go back because I'm fair here. I go back
- 54:28Speaker 2: to say Trump was getting it in line before the
- 54:31Speaker 2: war in Iran. You saw gas prices coming back down.
- 54:34Speaker 2: You saw things going in the right direction. Solely because
- 54:38Speaker 2: of this situation he did in Iran, it reversed all
- 54:41Speaker 2: of that. All of that has been reversed, the good
- 54:45Speaker 2: that he's done with his economic policies because of the
- 54:48Speaker 2: situation in Iran. You all know that I'm critical of that,
- 54:52Speaker 2: and I think he was manipulated into it by, I
- 54:55Speaker 2: say it again, by Netanyahu. However, as I must always say,
- 55:00Speaker 2: I don't know everything Rubio and Trump know. I don't
- 55:03Speaker 2: know what they know that they're not telling us as
- 55:07Speaker 2: to why he would jeopardize his presidency, his legacy in
- 55:11Speaker 2: the midterms to do something like he's done. I don't know.
- 55:15Speaker 2: Maybe there's more to it. than I know, and he
- 55:19Speaker 2: felt that it was important for the society or the
- 55:22Speaker 2: world to do something like that. There's no doubt in
- 55:25Speaker 2: my mind that these countries would like to see the
- 55:28Speaker 2: Democrats win in the midterms to stick it to Trump.
- 55:32Speaker 2: I think they are... Certainly Iran wants to hold out
- 55:36Speaker 2: till the midterms. All they got to do is survive,
- 55:40Speaker 2: and they've done it for hundreds of years, and all
- 55:43Speaker 2: they got to do is survive, and they figure if
- 55:45Speaker 2: they can... Get to chaos during the midterms of the
- 55:48Speaker 2: Democrats elected. That's an advantage to them. Well, I'm not
- 55:51Speaker 2: going to fall for their for their moves, I guess,
- 55:55Speaker 2: is what you want to say. But the current the
- 55:57Speaker 2: current inflation is because of the situation in Iran and
- 56:01Speaker 2: in Ukraine. Zelensky's not listening to Trump. He's knocking out
- 56:07Speaker 2: oil infrastructure. He continues to in Russia. That's increasing cost
- 56:11Speaker 2: of diesel. And you see the Houthis knocking out oil
- 56:16Speaker 2: infrastructure in Saudi Arabia. This is all creating gas prices
- 56:20Speaker 2: to spike up. I mentioned it last hour. We took
- 56:23Speaker 2: the 30-cent-gallon state gas tax off. I think I saw
- 56:28Speaker 2: prices at like $ 3. 70 or whatever for one or two days.
- 56:32Speaker 2: Next thing you know, you see what happens in Ukraine.
- 56:35Speaker 2: You see what's happening in Saudi Arabia. Now gas prices
- 56:38Speaker 2: are back to $ 4.
- 56:39Speaker 11: 20 a gallon.
- 56:42Speaker 2: And that's without the state tax. If the state tax
- 56:44Speaker 2: was here, it'd be $ 4. 50 a gallon. That's because of
- 56:47Speaker 2: the situation in those two places. I would like to
- 56:51Speaker 2: see this get resolved. I don't know what Trump knows.
- 56:54Speaker 2: He might know. Obviously, they know a lot more than
- 56:57Speaker 2: we do as far as what's going on there. But
- 56:59Speaker 2: by God. I'll say it again, Michael. Excuse me, Guru.
- 57:02Speaker 2: I will not vote for Democrats that hate fossil fuels,
- 57:06Speaker 2: that regulate it, make it hard to drill and all
- 57:08Speaker 2: this kind of stuff, thinking that that's a good move
- 57:11Speaker 2: for my gas prices or thinking their economic policies are
- 57:15Speaker 2: good moves. That's just cutting your own throat. And I
- 57:18Speaker 2: will not participate in it. So if they win, they
- 57:20Speaker 2: won't win with my vote. And I just think the
- 57:23Speaker 2: country will just have issues for the next two years
- 57:27Speaker 2: because I'm the craziness of the Democrats. That's all I
- 57:31Speaker 2: can say to you. You know what I believe, Ron?
- 57:34Speaker 2: What's that?
- 57:37Speaker 8: I'm not happy to say this, but I believe that
- 57:41Speaker 8: the next military operation that Trump... Take a guess what
- 57:45Speaker 8: the next military operation dealing with Iran is.
- 57:47Speaker 2: Going to be called. What?
- 57:50Speaker 8: Election night.
- 57:53Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 57:54Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 57:55Speaker 6: Well, I mean, think about it.
- 57:56Speaker 4: From his point of view, right?
- 57:57Speaker 6: Like, If I win, maybe it won't happen.
- 58:01Speaker 8: But if I lose, what am.
- 58:02Speaker 4: I going to do?
- 58:04Speaker 2: Right. I've got like 24 hours.
- 58:06Speaker 8: I've got 72 hours, man.
- 58:08Speaker 6: I'm going to go.
- 58:09Speaker 8: That's what I think he's saving his powder for.
- 58:12Speaker 2: Here's some examples of what you were talking about that
- 58:14Speaker 2: I want people to know. And the Social Security Administration
- 58:19Speaker 2: projected on Wednesday that the annual cost of living adjustment
- 58:22Speaker 2: for older adults and people with disabilities will go up
- 58:26Speaker 2: by 3.6% in 2027. So if you're on Social Security,
- 58:31Speaker 2: you'll get a 3.6% increase. Now, with that in mind,
- 58:36Speaker 2: inflation is at 3.7%. So you're still getting an increase,
- 58:42Speaker 2: but you're falling behind the rate of inflation. So just
- 58:46Speaker 2: so you know that. But anyway, at least you're going
- 58:49Speaker 2: to get that. The cost of living adjustment, or COLA,
- 58:52Speaker 2: for retirees and disabled beneficiaries is financed by payroll taxes
- 58:57Speaker 2: collected from workers and their employers up to a certain
- 59:00Speaker 2: annual salary. That is set to increase to $ 192, 300 in
- 59:03Speaker 2: 2027 from $ 184, 500 in.
- 59:09Speaker 6: 2026.
- 59:09Speaker 2: So they're raising the cap on what you pay on
- 59:14Speaker 2: Social Security tax, which I totally agree with, incidentally. And
- 59:18Speaker 2: I agree with the increase. But here's what bothers me
- 59:21Speaker 2: a lot, folks. this people that say, well, we got
- 59:24Speaker 2: to get rid of social security. There's a lot on
- 59:26Speaker 2: the line financially right now for older Americans. This is
- 59:29Speaker 2: a quote here for the favor. One in five have
- 59:34Speaker 2: no retirement savings. We're talking people that are older Americans
- 59:37Speaker 2: that are retired. So one in five older Americans have
- 59:41Speaker 2: no retirement savings and And more people feel financially insecure
- 59:45Speaker 2: this year than last. So what does that tell you?
- 59:49Speaker 2: I mean, that's how important Social Security is to so
- 59:52Speaker 2: many people. They don't have any retirement savings at all.
- 59:55Speaker 2: One in five. So Social Security was always intended to
- 59:58Speaker 2: be a supplement, but it is the sole income for
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: one in five people out there in their retirement. So
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: I'm glad. There's a 3.6% increase. I'm glad that they
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: upped that cap. And I want to pass that along.
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: But here's another thing, Guru. Grocery store chain Kroger, the
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: ones who bought Giant Eagle, said it will lay off
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: 3,000 corporate employees over the next three years as it
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: ramps up its use of artificial intelligence to streamline operations.
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: Technology is reshaping what's possible. So Kroger, as a result
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: of AI, 3,000 people are going to lose their job. Well,
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: I think... As you see more AI come about, you'll
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: see more people lose their jobs. And my question is, okay,
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: now what are you going to do? Because in many cases,
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: these people will lose their jobs and they're younger and
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: they will find another job, but it might not pay
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: as much as what they were making. And I just
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: think that you're headed for a lot of people losing
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: their jobs as a result of AI. And if they
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: lose their job, they're not paying into Social Security anymore.
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: If they lose their job and take a job and
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: have less money, they can lose their homes and or
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: cut back on their spending. There's nothing good, I don't think,
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: coming from AI as far as employment is concerned. And
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: your comments?
- 1:01:21Speaker 8: Well, I think you heard G2 talking about that Kroger situation.
- 1:01:25Speaker 8: And you left off one important thing. They are laying
- 1:01:27Speaker 8: off all those people, but they're also signed a contract
- 1:01:30Speaker 8: with the data company. service in India.
- 1:01:36Speaker 26: Yeah.
- 1:01:36Speaker 4: Oh, I guess my, so, okay.
- 1:01:38Speaker 8: So my word to, uh, Kroger is, you know, I
- 1:01:44Speaker 8: sure hope you like Indian food.
- 1:01:46Speaker 6: Right.
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: I mean, so, so basically I'm not shopping there anymore.
- 1:01:49Speaker 4: So, right.
- 1:01:50Speaker 23: Right.
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: So basically, yeah, basically they're saying we can get ready.
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: You pay in you, whatever, 80,000 a year, pick whatever
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: number you want. And we'll pay this guy over here,
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: $ 5, 000 a year.
- 1:02:00Speaker 6: Okay.
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: That's great. Now, what's the long-term effect of that? You know,
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: that's why I say this all the time when I
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: argue with people about tariffs. I say, when you bitch
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: about tariffs... I'm pro-tariff. You have to level the playing field.
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: We cannot compete with China, India, Vietnam, these slave wage nations.
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: We cannot compete with them because of what they pay,
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: and they don't have Social Security or workers' comp or
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: OSHA and all the other standards that we have in
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: this country. So they have childhood labor, dirt floors, all
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: this kind of stuff that you see going on, and
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: we're supposed to compete against them? It's impossible to do that.
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: Tariffs level the playing field. So you have all these
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: people bitching about Trump and tariffs. Oh, it increases prices. Well,
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: that's all well and good until you lose your job
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: to somebody in some other country because they're cheaper to
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: do the work. Then all of a sudden you'll be
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: for tariffs. I'm for tariffs. Level the playing field. The
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: difference in our standard of living and what you're charging
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: your product to come into this country, you can put
- 1:03:09Speaker 2: all of our manufacturing out of business. If we level
- 1:03:12Speaker 2: the playing field with tariffs, we'll have jobs for our people.
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: We're a consumer-driven economy. The best social program is a
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: good job. And by God, that's what we've got to
- 1:03:21Speaker 2: continue to provide our citizens is the opportunities for good jobs.
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: Through AI and these slave wage nations like you're talking about,
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: we can concede every job that's out there. Now, how
- 1:03:32Speaker 2: are citizens going to work? And you say, well, but
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: I'll be able to buy everything cheaper. You say that
- 1:03:38Speaker 2: until you lose your job or your kids can't find
- 1:03:40Speaker 2: any opportunities or they lose their job. How's that?
- 1:03:45Speaker 8: Hey, even better, Ron.
- 1:03:46Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:03:47Speaker 8: You know, what you didn't mention was Giant Eagle all
- 1:03:50Speaker 8: around here.
- 1:03:51Speaker 27: Yeah.
- 1:03:51Speaker 8: That just got bought up by Kroger. So now people
- 1:03:54Speaker 8: that were working in Pittsburgh and Giant Eagle are probably
- 1:03:57Speaker 8: going to be misplaced.
- 1:03:59Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: You've got to wait and see what happens there because
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: there's still two separate entities as I understand it. But
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: we'll see. All right, Michael. Thank you, my friend. You're
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: on the air.
- 1:04:10Speaker 4: Hey, how you doing?
- 1:04:11Speaker 9: Good.
- 1:04:12Speaker 21: Well, you know, just a couple things. Like if I
- 1:04:15Speaker 21: was to put in a housing development and the street cost,
- 1:04:19Speaker 21: let's say I'm going to put in 35 houses. To
- 1:04:23Speaker 21: put those streets in, it costs the same.
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: Stand by. Stand by for one minute. Let me do
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: my break. I'm going to come right back to him
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: and let him make his point right after this.
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: Back to it.
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: We go. All right. This guy's talking about putting in
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: streets and new development. Go ahead.
- 1:04:47Speaker 21: No, I was just making the point. Like, if I
- 1:04:49Speaker 21: put in 35 new homes.
- 1:04:53Speaker 21: And I build three-bedroom ranches at $ 250, 000, the streets cost
- 1:04:59Speaker 21: me the same. Everything costs me the same to put
- 1:05:01Speaker 21: the development in. So if I can put in $ 500, 000
- 1:05:05Speaker 21: or $ 600, 000 homes, and there's a smaller market, but there's
- 1:05:10Speaker 21: still a market, I'm money ahead. When I hear this
- 1:05:14Speaker 21: about starter homes and just things in general, Does that
- 1:05:18Speaker 21: make any sense to you? I mean, it costs the
- 1:05:20Speaker 21: same to put the street in. It costs the same
- 1:05:22Speaker 21: to put the shore in.
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: Well, no, it does. It doesn't make sense, and it
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: does make sense. I guess it's two things at once.
- 1:05:30Speaker 2: For example, when you're talking about putting a development in.
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: For example, like a lot today, just to buy a
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: lot to build on. Well, when we were building those lots,
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: it would be $ 25, 000 to $ 27, 000, $ 28, 000 for a pretty
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: decent-sized lot, incidentally. The lots today, just to buy the lot,
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: is $ 50, 000 on up just for the lot. So the
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: actual plot to build on, you're $ 50, 000 on up for that.
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: And I'm just talking in a regular development, regular homes,
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: if you will. So the lots are expensive because of
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: wetlands and regulations and all this tap-in fees, all this nonsense.
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: So the lot's more expensive. Now, when you build that house...
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: and you look at the price of lumber and all
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: the materials, because vinyl stuff is made out of oil, shingles,
- 1:06:23Speaker 2: and the price of all this stuff has gone up.
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: So you can look at an 18,500 square feet house,
- 1:06:30Speaker 2: which many people would say is somewhat, I don't want
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: to say a starter home, but a new home that
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: you're going to be every bit of 350,000 in by
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: the time the dust settles for a new home. And
- 1:06:42Speaker 2: it's not an elaborate home.
- 1:06:44Speaker 21: It's, That's my point. That's my point. If I put
- 1:06:47Speaker 21: the street in, the street costs the same whether I
- 1:06:51Speaker 21: build $ 300, 000 homes or $ 600, 000 homes. So why would I
- 1:06:52Speaker 21: build $ 300, 000 homes when there is a smaller market that
- 1:06:56Speaker 21: you would build three-quarters of a million dollar homes and
- 1:07:00Speaker 21: sell them?
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: So It depends where you are.
- 1:07:13Speaker 21: I understand that. My point is, if you're putting in
- 1:07:15Speaker 21: a development, then you build the house, what you think
- 1:07:20Speaker 21: you can get the most out of it, and you
- 1:07:23Speaker 21: don't have to build the big elaborate cathedral ceilings and
- 1:07:26Speaker 21: all that. But people don't build that because it costs
- 1:07:30Speaker 21: the same.
- 1:07:31Speaker 4: For the lot, whether you build X or.
- 1:07:34Speaker 21: Y is what I'm getting at.
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: Right, but you might want to build the less expensive,
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: the more less expensive home because that's what the marketplace
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: is and that's what you can sell. That's why you
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: see builders build condos because they're in demand for older
- 1:07:52Speaker 2: people and there aren't enough of them. You can see
- 1:07:54Speaker 2: that they say, okay, well, we can build what you'd
- 1:07:56Speaker 2: call average middle-class homes because that's what we can put
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: in this development around the rest of these homes and
- 1:08:02Speaker 2: we'll sell them and still make a decent profit on it.
- 1:08:06Speaker 21: Well, just like Alex was saying about a coffee, hey,
- 1:08:08Speaker 21: would they want to buy one for $ 8? Well, that's
- 1:08:11Speaker 21: up to them, but it's kind of foolish in my
- 1:08:14Speaker 21: way of thinking. But I see General Motors now 60
- 1:08:18Speaker 21: months of.
- 1:08:21Speaker 21: You can get a loan, 0%. Well, 60-month loan at
- 1:08:26Speaker 21: a $ 60, 000 vehicle is $ 1, 000 a month.
- 1:08:28Speaker 2: Yep.
- 1:08:29Speaker 21: That's your choice.
- 1:08:31Speaker 4: I mean, is it good?
- 1:08:33Speaker 6: No.
- 1:08:33Speaker 8: Not for me.
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: Right. No. You see what I'm saying?
- 1:08:37Speaker 21: When you're talking about younger people, and nobody, nobody anymore
- 1:08:43Speaker 21: entertains themselves without spending a lot of money. It seems
- 1:08:47Speaker 21: like it's competition. to impress or something. I don't know
- 1:08:52Speaker 21: what it is, why they want to spend a lot
- 1:08:54Speaker 21: of money. Who wants to, you know, I give you
- 1:08:57Speaker 21: some examples. People laugh, but you don't have to. to
- 1:09:00Speaker 21: spend a lot of money to entertain yourself. You really don't.
- 1:09:04Speaker 2: What's your Pornhub subscription cost you?
- 1:09:07Speaker 21: Oh, it's minimal.
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: Okay, good. I was just asking. And you can entertain yourself,
- 1:09:14Speaker 2: so that's all good. I mean, it keeps you off
- 1:09:16Speaker 2: the streets.
- 1:09:18Speaker 4: Yes, yes, you're right.
- 1:09:20Speaker 21: Right on the old block.
- 1:09:21Speaker 2: I'm on top of it today.
- 1:09:23Speaker 3: You know it.
- 1:09:23Speaker 6: Yeah, you're on top.
- 1:09:24Speaker 2: I could smoke you out. I could tell it right now.
- 1:09:28Speaker 2: All right, well, you're correct on what you say, and
- 1:09:31Speaker 2: I appreciate your insight. And I thank you for it.

- 1:09:52Speaker 6: Enrollees have until December 7th.
- 1:10:03Speaker 12: To choose plans between traditional Medicare and Medicare Advantage plans
- 1:10:07Speaker 12: and prescription drug coverage. The changes next year include a
- 1:10:11Speaker 12: higher Part D out-of-pocket cap and deductible, along with the
- 1:10:15Speaker 12: end of temporary federal premium subsidies. The NCAA is suing
- 1:10:20Speaker 12: Ohio Governor Mike DeWine over his executive order that would
- 1:10:23Speaker 12: allow college athletes who graduated in high school in 2022
- 1:10:26Speaker 12: to play a fifth year. DeWine says those athletes deserve
- 1:10:30Speaker 12: the same opportunities as students in other states. But the
- 1:10:33Speaker 12: NCAA is arguing that the governor has no authority.
- 1:10:36Speaker 23: To override its rules.
- 1:10:38Speaker 12: The NCAA wants a federal judge to block his order,
- 1:10:42Speaker 12: saying that it would give Ohio schools an unfair competitive advantage.
- 1:10:46Speaker 12: I'm Sandy Collins.

- 1:11:07Speaker 2: Why, good afternoon. 435 on a cloudy, wet overcast Friday,
- 1:11:12Speaker 2: October 16th, 57 degrees. Guardians still scheduled to play tonight,
- 1:11:17Speaker 2: 735 the pregame, 8 o'clock first pitch. Guardians play here
- 1:11:21Speaker 2: with Tom Hamilton, Rosie Collins on News Radio 570, WKBN. Now,
- 1:11:25Speaker 2: I remind people it's for tomorrow. Just as a side note,
- 1:11:28Speaker 2: tomorrow we have a conflict here on 570. We normally
- 1:11:33Speaker 2: carry YSU football, and we'll be doing that tomorrow. Unfortunately,
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: it coincides the same time that the Guardians game will
- 1:11:40Speaker 2: be on. So for tomorrow and tomorrow only, to hear
- 1:11:43Speaker 2: Tom Hamilton and the Guardians game, it will be on
- 1:11:46Speaker 2: our Sister Station right down the hallway here at 1390 WNIO.
- 1:11:50Speaker 2: That'll be tomorrow night for Saturday's game. That's where you
- 1:11:53Speaker 2: will find the play-by-play of the Guardians on 1390 WNIO
- 1:11:58Speaker 2: tomorrow night, okay? Because of ISU football on our airwaves.
- 1:12:03Speaker 2: There you go. You're on the air.
- 1:12:04Speaker 3: Hello.
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: Hey, Ronnie.
- 1:12:07Speaker 16: You think they're going to have the game tonight?
- 1:12:09Speaker 2: I don't know. So far, the answer is yes.
- 1:12:13Speaker 16: I looked at the radar.
- 1:12:14Speaker 3: I'm like, I don't know.
- 1:12:16Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:12:17Speaker 16: I think tomorrow would be nice.
- 1:12:19Speaker 2: The answer is so far yes. But it's windy. I'm
- 1:12:24Speaker 2: told it's windy up there. Here, I'll show you. I
- 1:12:29Speaker 2: was just told it's windy up there. But who knows?
- 1:12:32Speaker 2: I mean, you know, so far it's a go because
- 1:12:34Speaker 2: I haven't been informed that it isn't a go.
- 1:12:37Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:12:37Speaker 2: I mean, there you go. I'm just passing along.
- 1:12:42Speaker 4: All right.
- 1:12:43Speaker 16: Hey, real quick, the tariffs. I agree with the tariffs.
- 1:12:49Speaker 16: I think it was I think actually there wasn't income
- 1:12:53Speaker 16: tax for like a hundred years because they had tariffs
- 1:12:57Speaker 16: on other countries. And then, you know, the income tax
- 1:13:02Speaker 16: thing got into law and changed that whole debacle.
- 1:13:06Speaker 2: Well, I just think it's interesting. You know, the Democrats
- 1:13:09Speaker 2: say we're for the working man, but we're against tariffs
- 1:13:12Speaker 2: because it's bad for the consumer. Well, you can have
- 1:13:15Speaker 2: cheap prices, once again, for the consumer of stuff made
- 1:13:17Speaker 2: in China and India and all these other places, and
- 1:13:21Speaker 2: you won't be a consumer because you'll lose your job
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: to all those countries that have cheap prices. I mean,
- 1:13:25Speaker 2: I'm just trying to be a realist about it all.
- 1:13:28Speaker 2: I support tariffs because that's how you level the playing field.
- 1:13:31Speaker 2: I've said a million times until people understand it. You
- 1:13:34Speaker 2: cannot compete against China, Vietnam, India, and these countries that
- 1:13:41Speaker 2: don't have our standards. And they're not giving their workers
- 1:13:45Speaker 2: health care, and they're not worried about Social Security or
- 1:13:49Speaker 2: Medicare or any of the other stuff that you have
- 1:13:52Speaker 2: to pay in America. So, If you want to say–
- 1:13:55Speaker 2: everybody's cool with that because, well, I want to get
- 1:13:58Speaker 2: the cheapest price I can until it's your job. Then
- 1:14:00Speaker 2: all of a sudden people are bitching because it's their job. Well,
- 1:14:02Speaker 2: guess what? Now it's starting to affect a lot of
- 1:14:04Speaker 2: white-collar jobs by them going over to India where they'll
- 1:14:07Speaker 2: do the job for $ 5, 000 and somebody's doing it around
- 1:14:10Speaker 2: here for $ 80, 000 or $ 100, 000. Next thing you know, the
- 1:14:13Speaker 2: jobs are going over there. Now nothing is safe. I mean,
- 1:14:16Speaker 2: so you've got jobs going to India. You've got AI coming.
- 1:14:19Speaker 2: And you look around and you say, well, geez, I mean, what–
- 1:14:24Speaker 2: What are people going to do? And if you don't
- 1:14:26Speaker 2: have people working, paying into the system and paying taxes,
- 1:14:29Speaker 2: where the hell do you think we're heading?
- 1:14:32Speaker 6: Right.
- 1:14:32Speaker 16: Just like not only the tangible goods that come from
- 1:14:36Speaker 16: them countries, but you get a lot of people on computers,
- 1:14:39Speaker 16: you know, half a world away working for these companies
- 1:14:42Speaker 16: in the United States. There should be some kind of a,
- 1:14:44Speaker 16: you know, tariff on, you know, tax them double.
- 1:14:47Speaker 4: They have to pay, you know, U.S.
- 1:14:50Speaker 17: Income tax or something, you know.
- 1:14:53Speaker 16: I don't know how that works exactly, but, you know,
- 1:14:56Speaker 16: there should be some kind of, I don't know, some
- 1:15:01Speaker 16: kind of tax on that for these people that, like,
- 1:15:04Speaker 16: work on computers, like in India, and they're working for doctors.
- 1:15:08Speaker 16: You know, when you call and the guy goes, hello,
- 1:15:11Speaker 16: my name is Joe, you know, them things.
- 1:15:15Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:15:16Speaker 6: Yeah. Hey, but.
- 1:15:19Speaker 16: I think it was, yeah, Emanuel, you know, was talking
- 1:15:22Speaker 16: about how everything's going to.
- 1:15:24Speaker 4: Be great again.
- 1:15:25Speaker 16: But he's going to go see Obama up in Cleveland?
- 1:15:31Speaker 16: That just blows my mind. And I bet the mainstream
- 1:15:36Speaker 16: media will, you know, make it look like there's a
- 1:15:39Speaker 16: billion people there. But I don't know.
- 1:15:43Speaker 6: Trump, all right?
- 1:15:45Speaker 16: I know, you know, the gas prices are high because
- 1:15:48Speaker 16: of this whole war thing, okay? But that's all you
- 1:15:51Speaker 16: hear in the echo chamber is the fuel prices are high, which,
- 1:15:55Speaker 16: you know, obviously everybody's paying more because of the fuel prices. But,
- 1:16:00Speaker 16: I mean, they should be talking about all the stuff
- 1:16:03Speaker 16: that Trump actually accomplished. I mean, you could go back
- 1:16:08Speaker 16: and look at Biden's regime today What did he get accomplished?
- 1:16:14Speaker 16: What did he do?
- 1:16:15Speaker 2: Well, I tell you, I tell you what he did.
- 1:16:18Speaker 2: He let millions of people come into your country illegally
- 1:16:20Speaker 2: and look the other way. And it cost you and
- 1:16:23Speaker 2: it still cost you billions of dollars and a lot
- 1:16:26Speaker 2: of people in a crime that has come from it.
- 1:16:28Speaker 2: He has created a cancer on this country that will
- 1:16:30Speaker 2: take years to correct. And you see the Democrats fighting
- 1:16:34Speaker 2: you to even make any of these corrections. Coming here
- 1:16:37Speaker 2: is a privilege, not a right. There's a legal way
- 1:16:40Speaker 2: to do it. It's unfair to the people that are
- 1:16:42Speaker 2: waiting in line to come here legally, and no other
- 1:16:44Speaker 2: country does it like this. That's what Biden did. And
- 1:16:48Speaker 2: it hasn't been done in the past, and it's just wrong.
- 1:16:51Speaker 2: You want to say, what did Biden do? Well, okay,
- 1:16:53Speaker 2: he put regulations against drilling on federal lands and offshore,
- 1:16:58Speaker 2: making it harder to become energy independent. And we're stuck
- 1:17:01Speaker 2: on fossil fuels.
- 1:17:02Speaker 6: So.
- 1:17:04Speaker 2: I don't know what to tell you. What he did
- 1:17:06Speaker 2: is screw the country up, and Sherrod Brown and the
- 1:17:08Speaker 2: Democrats were right there in lockstep.
- 1:17:12Speaker 16: Would you rather be satisfied with that for your president
- 1:17:15Speaker 16: or a president that closed down the border, closed down
- 1:17:18Speaker 16: the border, stopped all these terrorists? You know there had
- 1:17:23Speaker 16: to be thousands of terrorists coming in over the border.
- 1:17:28Speaker 16: All these unaccompanied minors, the DHS, I think the other
- 1:17:32Speaker 16: day they I think it's like in the thousands, like
- 1:17:36Speaker 16: the 30,000s of kids that they saved from being trafficked.
- 1:17:43Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:17:44Speaker 16: All these unaccompanied minors.
- 1:17:46Speaker 6: I mean, come on.
- 1:17:47Speaker 16: How about even D.C.? The crime rate is down. I mean,
- 1:17:53Speaker 16: he cleaned up D.C. It was the capital of the
- 1:17:56Speaker 16: United States, and people are getting killed like on a
- 1:17:59Speaker 16: daily basis. And he went in and cleaned that up.
- 1:18:02Speaker 16: How about, yeah, drill, baby, drill, you know? He's trying
- 1:18:07Speaker 16: to open up the pipelines again, deregulation. I get the
- 1:18:11Speaker 16: government out of everything. That's, like, one of the problems
- 1:18:15Speaker 16: right there. The government, you've got these knuckleheads in Congress
- 1:18:20Speaker 16: that don't know anything.
- 1:18:22Speaker 17: And they're making the rules for us.
- 1:18:25Speaker 6: That just blows my mind.
- 1:18:28Speaker 17: How about he exposed the deep state, the deep state media?
- 1:18:33Speaker 4: You know, he.
- 1:18:34Speaker 17: Exposed the fake news for what it is.
- 1:18:36Speaker 15: And I think a lot of people woke up to that.
- 1:18:39Speaker 7: What else?
- 1:18:40Speaker 16: What else?
- 1:18:40Speaker 22: How about just the Panama Canal?
- 1:18:45Speaker 16: The Chinese were taking over the Panama Canal that we
- 1:18:48Speaker 16: built 100 years ago.
- 1:18:49Speaker 17: I don't know how many people died building that thing.
- 1:18:53Speaker 16: And I don't know if it was Jimmy Carter or
- 1:18:54Speaker 16: whatever said 99 years, we're going to give it to Panama.
- 1:18:58Speaker 16: And then the Chinese start taking over. And he got
- 1:19:02Speaker 16: that back.
- 1:19:05Speaker 4: Space Force. You know, the Space Force.
- 1:19:07Speaker 17: Everybody laughed at him, but it's a.
- 1:19:10Speaker 16: The future of warfare is a space, you know, controlling space.
- 1:19:16Speaker 6: What else?
- 1:19:17Speaker 16: What else?
- 1:19:19Speaker 29: USAID.
- 1:19:20Speaker 22: Yeah, USAID.
- 1:19:22Speaker 16: He stopped sending all this money for these stupid programs. Yeah,
- 1:19:28Speaker 16: you know, check out frogs in this country or teach.
- 1:19:34Speaker 4: Teach somebody.
- 1:19:36Speaker 16: In another language how to tie their shoes or something.
- 1:19:39Speaker 4: Just stupid stuff.
- 1:19:41Speaker 6: Venezuela, huh?
- 1:19:42Speaker 16: How about that? Shutting down the drugs coming in. Freeing
- 1:19:48Speaker 16: up the country. I think that country really is turning around.
- 1:19:54Speaker 16: What else? What else did he do?
- 1:19:55Speaker 6: NATO.
- 1:19:56Speaker 16: How about NATO? Making NATO pay their fair share. So
- 1:20:00Speaker 16: all these Democrats and Republicans... We don't have to spend
- 1:20:06Speaker 16: stupid money to.
- 1:20:07Speaker 17: Pay to protect them. You know, 550 million people in Europe,
- 1:20:13Speaker 17: 250 million here, and we're paying to protect them. You know,
- 1:20:20Speaker 17: just stupid stuff like that. This is what people should.
- 1:20:25Speaker 4: Be talking about.
- 1:20:26Speaker 16: But, no, the echo chamber is just, oh, gas prices
- 1:20:29Speaker 16: are high.
- 1:20:29Speaker 6: The gas prices are high.
- 1:20:31Speaker 16: Would you rather have that, or would you rather have
- 1:20:34Speaker 16: Biden back in there, or some other brain-dead person? I'm sorry,
- 1:20:40Speaker 16: I'm going off a little bit here, Ronnie.
- 1:20:41Speaker 2: No, but I'm listening to you, and I'm agreeing with
- 1:20:44Speaker 2: everything you're saying.
- 1:20:45Speaker 6: I'm agreeing with everything you're saying. Yeah.
- 1:20:50Speaker 16: And then the AI thing. I know all these jobs
- 1:20:54Speaker 16: are getting taken over by AI, but then again... You
- 1:20:59Speaker 16: look at all the candle makers that went out of
- 1:21:01Speaker 16: business when the light bulb came in and the horseshoe
- 1:21:07Speaker 16: guys when the automobile came in. So, I mean, things
- 1:21:12Speaker 16: change and people got to move on, I guess.
- 1:21:19Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:21:20Speaker 2: I mean, I agree with that. But you better be
- 1:21:22Speaker 2: careful of other countries competing against you that you can't
- 1:21:26Speaker 2: compete against. I mean, that's just the reality.
- 1:21:28Speaker 6: Right. Yeah.
- 1:21:31Speaker 4: Hey, yesterday, Rich.
- 1:21:34Speaker 2: I mean, when you take a look at all of
- 1:21:36Speaker 2: that stuff that you're talking about, I mean, it's important
- 1:21:40Speaker 2: for people to understand this. I mean, you know, as
- 1:21:44Speaker 2: critical as they are Trump, they forget the following. Joe
- 1:21:48Speaker 2: Biden wasn't running the country. Joe Biden didn't have a
- 1:21:51Speaker 2: press conference. It didn't have a cabinet meeting for a year.
- 1:21:55Speaker 2: He wasn't holding press conferences. They were hiding Joe Biden
- 1:21:59Speaker 2: from you and his dementia or whatever he was. They
- 1:22:03Speaker 2: were hiding him from you. And the people around him
- 1:22:06Speaker 2: were lying to you about his conditions. Now, I don't
- 1:22:10Speaker 2: know how you can justify that. Kamala Harris, he's as
- 1:22:13Speaker 2: sharp as a tack. He's working all this time. These
- 1:22:16Speaker 2: were lies. It was a deception. It was like, don't
- 1:22:20Speaker 2: believe your eyes. Joe Biden's walking in the wrong direction.
- 1:22:23Speaker 2: He can't remember what he's doing and where he's at.
- 1:22:26Speaker 2: Don't believe what you're seeing. We're telling you he's on
- 1:22:28Speaker 2: top of his game. And you come to find out
- 1:22:31Speaker 2: from the insiders that were there, not speculation, that the
- 1:22:34Speaker 2: guy was totally inept. He didn't have anything on his schedule.
- 1:22:40Speaker 2: He was done at 4.30 in the day. So you
- 1:22:42Speaker 2: have to ask yourself, well, who was running the country?
- 1:22:46Speaker 2: Because he wasn't– well, was Jill Biden running it? Was
- 1:22:50Speaker 2: Hunter Biden running it? Who was making the decisions in
- 1:22:54Speaker 2: this country when they gave Joe a script and said,
- 1:22:56Speaker 2: go out and read this? And he would go out
- 1:22:58Speaker 2: and read the script, and he would be reading the instructions. Pause.
- 1:23:02Speaker 2: Look left or look right. So let's just start with
- 1:23:06Speaker 2: that right off the bat. Let's start– you start with that.
- 1:23:09Speaker 2: You start with– You come to this country legally. Now
- 1:23:13Speaker 2: ask yourself this question. Is it fair to anybody standing
- 1:23:17Speaker 2: in line to come here legally when you let all
- 1:23:20Speaker 2: these other people come in illegally and cut in line?
- 1:23:23Speaker 2: So the person that's trying to do it the right
- 1:23:25Speaker 2: way is getting screwed standing in line, watching millions of
- 1:23:29Speaker 2: people that we know nothing about come into your country illegally.
- 1:23:33Speaker 2: You know zero about any of them. that are coming here.
- 1:23:37Speaker 2: And in turn, we do know about the human trafficking
- 1:23:40Speaker 2: that was taking place and the rape trees that were
- 1:23:43Speaker 2: taking place. If anything, like you say, thousands and thousands
- 1:23:49Speaker 2: of children were rescued from human trafficking, which is the
- 1:23:53Speaker 2: sex rings that went on. The Democrats were looking the
- 1:23:57Speaker 2: other way on this stuff. Why were they letting millions
- 1:24:00Speaker 2: of people into your country illegally? You want to tell
- 1:24:03Speaker 2: me you care about the working man. But as anything
- 1:24:07Speaker 2: is supply and demand, you're letting people into your country
- 1:24:10Speaker 2: illegally that will bring wages down because they can be
- 1:24:13Speaker 2: exploited by people who hire them. And they are exploited. Now,
- 1:24:18Speaker 2: that's not against people that come here legally. There are
- 1:24:21Speaker 2: many people that come here from Mexico and other places
- 1:24:24Speaker 2: that have green cards and work visas that come here
- 1:24:27Speaker 2: the right way and work here for nine months, go home,
- 1:24:30Speaker 2: and then they come back. I don't have a single
- 1:24:33Speaker 2: problem with that whatsoever. But I do have a problem
- 1:24:36Speaker 2: with people coming in here we know nothing about. This president...
- 1:24:40Speaker 2: And it is his duty to enforce the border. They
- 1:24:43Speaker 2: looked at you and they lied to you that the
- 1:24:45Speaker 2: border was secure. They said that to you time and
- 1:24:48Speaker 2: time again. Don't believe your eyes when thousands and ultimately
- 1:24:52Speaker 2: millions of people come into your country illegally illegally. And
- 1:24:56Speaker 2: we know nothing about him. And they flew him to
- 1:25:00Speaker 2: places in the middle of the night, your tax dollar,
- 1:25:02Speaker 2: and spent billions of dollars housing them in all of
- 1:25:05Speaker 2: these hotels. Did you vote on that? Did your congressman
- 1:25:09Speaker 2: vote on that? It is against the law of this
- 1:25:12Speaker 2: country for that to happen. And he did it anyway.
- 1:25:16Speaker 2: And no one's been held accountable for it whatsoever. Zero accountability.
- 1:25:20Speaker 2: Zero accountability to Fauci was given as pardon that now
- 1:25:24Speaker 2: makes sense when the information is coming out. We told
- 1:25:27Speaker 2: everybody that you're a kook, you're a conspiracy theory, when
- 1:25:31Speaker 2: in turn we had people dying alone in nursing homes,
- 1:25:34Speaker 2: dying alone in hospitals without a relative there to hold
- 1:25:38Speaker 2: their hand because of the lies you were told about COVID.
- 1:25:41Speaker 2: We know for a fact that ivermectin and hydrochloroquine actually
- 1:25:45Speaker 2: did make a difference and did work. But we stifled that.
- 1:25:49Speaker 2: We threatened doctors who had success with it that you'll
- 1:25:53Speaker 2: lose your hospital privileges. We'll strip your license away. We
- 1:25:56Speaker 2: went to the social media networks and censored anybody that
- 1:25:59Speaker 2: had a different opinion. Then, of course, they came and
- 1:26:03Speaker 2: said to you, you either take the vaccine or you'll
- 1:26:06Speaker 2: lose your job. So forget that it's an experimental vaccine
- 1:26:09Speaker 2: and we know there are problems that are coming from
- 1:26:11Speaker 2: it that we have as a result of both COVID
- 1:26:15Speaker 2: and the vaccine. But you should lose your livelihood if
- 1:26:19Speaker 2: fundamentally you don't want to take this vaccine. This is
- 1:26:22Speaker 2: all that's going on. So this is all the stuff
- 1:26:25Speaker 2: that's going on in addition to printing all of this money,
- 1:26:29Speaker 2: handing it out to people when the supply lines are
- 1:26:32Speaker 2: closed down, creating double digit inflation under Biden. He created
- 1:26:38Speaker 2: this inflation. And I didn't hear any of these people
- 1:26:40Speaker 2: bitch about that at the time when it was going on.
- 1:26:43Speaker 2: He's not running a country. He's letting all these people
- 1:26:45Speaker 2: come in. Inflation is there. And the nonsense. And quite frankly,
- 1:26:51Speaker 2: we could have avoided this whole Ukraine situation. But I
- 1:26:55Speaker 2: think there's an agenda going on there because the people
- 1:26:57Speaker 2: that go Ukraine, they don't understand what brought the war on.
- 1:27:03Speaker 2: What caused it? As Kennedy used to say, you don't
- 1:27:07Speaker 2: understand the situation until you understand what your enemy is thinking,
- 1:27:11Speaker 2: what their issues are. So when Russia said, hey, Ukraine,
- 1:27:15Speaker 2: you've got to stop killing and slaughtering the Russian-speaking people
- 1:27:18Speaker 2: by the Azov Battalion, the real Nazis in Ukraine killing
- 1:27:23Speaker 2: these people. You've got to get these damn bio labs
- 1:27:25Speaker 2: out of here that the U.S. was lying about. And
- 1:27:29Speaker 2: we can't have NATO on our doorstep. All of that
- 1:27:32Speaker 2: crap was ignored. And it just escalated the situation. And,
- 1:27:37Speaker 2: of course, the lies about the origins of COVID. And, gee,
- 1:27:41Speaker 2: it didn't start. It started from this bat soup and
- 1:27:43Speaker 2: all this nonsense were lies. No wonder they pardoned Fauci.
- 1:27:47Speaker 2: Has anyone been held accountable for what that did to
- 1:27:49Speaker 2: this country? Absolutely not. And then the guy's pardoned. Hang
- 1:27:54Speaker 2: on for a minute. I'm coming back to you. I'm
- 1:27:55Speaker 2: going to get right back to you. I got more
- 1:27:58Speaker 2: when I return.
- 1:28:02Speaker 3: We're men.
- 1:28:02Speaker 9: We don't need help.
- 1:28:03Speaker 18: We definitely don't need instruction manuals. Did you need it
- 1:28:07Speaker 18: when you built that grill?
- 1:28:08Speaker 2: Heck no.
- 1:28:09Speaker 18: It's DIY, not DI instructions.
- 1:28:12Speaker 6: We're men.
- 1:28:13Speaker 18: We don't ask for help, even if we're depressed. About 80%
- 1:28:18Speaker 18: of people who die by suicide are men. And if
- 1:28:21Speaker 18: you're a man that's struggling with thoughts of hurting yourself,
- 1:28:23Speaker 18: it's time to man up and call 988. Because feelings
- 1:28:27Speaker 18: are manly. Paid for by Mahoney County Mental Health and
- 1:28:30Speaker 18: Recovery Board.
- 1:28:31Speaker 5: Since 1973.
- 1:28:31Speaker 2: So, where are you? Are you there?
- 1:28:36Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm here.
- 1:28:38Speaker 2: I'm looking for you. Are you there? You know, I'm
- 1:28:42Speaker 2: just saying, add all of this stuff up. Listen, I
- 1:28:46Speaker 2: call it as I see it when it comes to Trump.
- 1:28:49Speaker 2: He had inflation going down, gas prices at $ 2. 50. Once again,
- 1:28:53Speaker 2: I'm not a fan of what's going on in Iran.
- 1:28:56Speaker 2: I say it time and time again. But I also
- 1:28:59Speaker 2: confess to all of you, I don't know what he
- 1:29:01Speaker 2: knows and what Rubio knows. I don't know. So I
- 1:29:06Speaker 2: don't know what they know. But the reality is I
- 1:29:09Speaker 2: wish we would have never got involved in that situation.
- 1:29:13Speaker 2: And you know my thoughts about it. But there might
- 1:29:17Speaker 2: be some things I don't know that are out there.
- 1:29:20Speaker 2: Like I said, Obama went and killed Osama bin Laden
- 1:29:23Speaker 2: when Joe Biden told him not to do it, that
- 1:29:25Speaker 2: it's risking his presidency and his reelection. And Obama said
- 1:29:29Speaker 2: sometimes there are things more important than reelection. How do
- 1:29:31Speaker 2: you know that same scenario hasn't happened with Trump with
- 1:29:34Speaker 2: the midterms? So it's a possibility. But I do know.
- 1:29:40Speaker 2: that you're a pro-energy policy, whether you like it or not,
- 1:29:44Speaker 2: one-third of the oil that comes out of the ground
- 1:29:46Speaker 2: goes to make stuff. So you need fossil fuels. You
- 1:29:49Speaker 2: need natural gas. You need electricity. You need fossil fuels.
- 1:29:52Speaker 2: You're not going to get rid of them. So you
- 1:29:55Speaker 2: better make them as affordable as possible, and that's something
- 1:29:58Speaker 2: that I support, that Trump is going in that direction. So,
- 1:30:02Speaker 2: though I think he's made some mistakes, overall... the country's
- 1:30:06Speaker 2: better off with his policies than it isn't including his
- 1:30:10Speaker 2: tax policies no tax on tips keep more of your
- 1:30:13Speaker 2: money no tax and overtime keep more of your money
- 1:30:15Speaker 2: hey on social security higher deduction so you can keep
- 1:30:18Speaker 2: more of your social security it's about you keeping more
- 1:30:21Speaker 2: of your money now we got a spending problem and
- 1:30:24Speaker 2: that's got to get in line but you guess what
- 1:30:28Speaker 2: i don't know the democrats and republicans are taking that
- 1:30:30Speaker 2: seriously at all so we'll go from there you.
- 1:30:33Speaker 16: Know Honestly, though, between the two previous presidents, which one
- 1:30:39Speaker 16: had the better? I mean, I just ripped off some stuff,
- 1:30:42Speaker 16: but he did good.
- 1:30:43Speaker 6: You did.
- 1:30:44Speaker 16: And it was treasonous for Biden to let 10 million
- 1:30:50Speaker 16: people into this country.
- 1:30:52Speaker 8: In a pandemic.
- 1:30:54Speaker 2: Yeah, I got a break. Thank you. Appreciate it. I'll
- 1:30:57Speaker 2: be right back. Stay tuned.

- 1:31:17Speaker 23: He's back on the trail. I'm Lisa Brady. Fox News.
- 1:31:20Speaker 22: This is really.
- 1:31:22Speaker 27: I think the most important midterm election maybe we've ever
- 1:31:25Speaker 27: had because there's never been anything like what we've done.
- 1:31:29Speaker 24: President Trump at a rally in Dalton, Georgia, as Republican
- 1:31:32Speaker 24: Congressman Mike Collins tries to unseat Democratic Senator John Ossoff.
- 1:31:36Speaker 24: one of the many races getting the president's attention with
- 1:31:39Speaker 24: control of Congress at stake.
- 1:31:41Speaker 27: We've made America greater than we ever thought even possible,
- 1:31:44Speaker 27: and it's going to go to lengths that you've never seen.
- 1:31:47Speaker 2: But you have to go out and vote. You have
- 1:31:49Speaker 2: to go out and vote.
- 1:31:50Speaker 24: Tomorrow, the president visits Kentucky, continuing a cross-country sweep of
- 1:31:54Speaker 24: near-daily rallies, countering a Democrat push for change, tapping into
- 1:31:58Speaker 24: voter frustration with the cost of living and the conflict
- 1:32:01Speaker 24: with Iran. On his way to Georgia, President Trump had
- 1:32:04Speaker 24: a call with Fox's Peter Doocy, telling him he's in
- 1:32:07Speaker 24: no rush to name another White House press secretary after
- 1:32:10Speaker 24: telling reporters that Katie Zachariah was being brutalized by the media.
- 1:32:14Speaker 24: And he told her to reconsider the role she started
- 1:32:17Speaker 24: earlier this week.
- 1:32:18Speaker 2: I just want her to be happy.
- 1:32:21Speaker 30: She has suffered over the last few days. And I'm
- 1:32:24Speaker 30: not saying, you know, I mean, maybe it's not for her.
- 1:32:28Speaker 30: But I said, you want to be happy in life,
- 1:32:32Speaker 30: I'll do whatever she wants.
- 1:32:33Speaker 24: Zachariah faced questions about her legal credentials, her first and
- 1:32:37Speaker 24: apparently only White House briefing, lasting for just 14 minutes.
- 1:32:41Speaker 24: A senior official says she's transitioning out of the role.
- 1:32:44Speaker 24: Just getting word that charges against actor Timothy Busfield have
- 1:32:47Speaker 24: been dropped. He was accused of criminal sexual conduct with
- 1:32:51Speaker 24: a child stemming from his time directing a TV series
- 1:32:54Speaker 24: after the parents of twin boys who were let go
- 1:32:56Speaker 24: from the show made allegations against him. But a judge
- 1:32:59Speaker 24: in New Mexico has just dismissed the indictment, accusing prosecutors...
- 1:33:03Speaker 24: Of misconduct and errors undermining the grand jury process, no
- 1:33:07Speaker 24: word on whether prosecutors will seek a new indictment. America

- 1:34:28Speaker 2: Patient callers, we appreciate it. NewsRadio 570 WKBN. I'll finish
- 1:34:33Speaker 2: taking your calls here. G2 will be on the line
- 1:34:35Speaker 2: with me for this hour as well. G2, welcome.
- 1:34:39Speaker 6: Good evening, Ron. How are you?
- 1:34:40Speaker 2: I am well. Let me take some of these calls
- 1:34:42Speaker 2: that have been waiting with you as well. All right.
- 1:34:45Speaker 2: Are you prepared?
- 1:34:46Speaker 6: I am ready to go.
- 1:34:48Speaker 2: All right. On a satellite phone from an undisclosed location
- 1:34:52Speaker 2: deep in the bunker. All right. Only General Johnson Jameson
- 1:34:57Speaker 2: is fully aware where G2 is situated and where the
- 1:35:01Speaker 2: satellite phone is. One man, just one man in the country.
- 1:35:04Speaker 2: Is that correct? That is correct.
- 1:35:06Speaker 8: He's the only one.
- 1:35:06Speaker 2: All right. Thank you very much. You're on the air. Hello.
- 1:35:09Speaker 18: Hello.
- 1:35:11Speaker 29: Hello, Ronald.
- 1:35:12Speaker 6: Hello, G2.
- 1:35:13Speaker 2: You're on the air.
- 1:35:17Speaker 9: Hello?
- 1:35:18Speaker 4: Yes. Hey, Ron.
- 1:35:20Speaker 22: It's Johnny Harris. How are you?
- 1:35:22Speaker 2: Who is it?
- 1:35:23Speaker 22: Johnny Harris. I called you a week ago. Maybe you
- 1:35:27Speaker 22: were breaking.
- 1:35:30Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:35:31Speaker 29: You called me back Tuesday.
- 1:35:32Speaker 22: I was talking about being here illegal for a few years.
- 1:35:36Speaker 22: and building a business in New York City and then
- 1:35:39Speaker 22: building in Ohio.
- 1:35:40Speaker 2: Oh, okay, yeah, okay.
- 1:35:42Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:35:43Speaker 22: So I have a lot of opinions about the last caller.
- 1:35:50Speaker 22: And G2, if you were in London, you were saying
- 1:35:52Speaker 22: last week, is that correct?
- 1:35:54Speaker 2: G2, have you been to London?
- 1:35:56Speaker 27: Yeah.
- 1:35:57Speaker 2: Yes, he said.
- 1:35:58Speaker 22: That was you that was saying that you were scared
- 1:36:00Speaker 22: seeing all the Muslims and all that sort of stuff, right?
- 1:36:03Speaker 18: No.
- 1:36:07Speaker 6: No, I've been to London, but that wasn't me. Oh,
- 1:36:09Speaker 6: that was new.
- 1:36:10Speaker 22: I'm sorry. That was one of the points I was
- 1:36:13Speaker 22: trying to bring up, Ron. When people talk about, like,
- 1:36:16Speaker 22: I'm from Ireland, right? So we have immigration issues as well. And,
- 1:36:22Speaker 22: you know, part of that is because people are getting
- 1:36:24Speaker 22: displaced by all these wars all around the world, right?
- 1:36:28Speaker 22: The refugees coming across the borders in Europe, they're ending
- 1:36:31Speaker 22: up in Ireland because the government takes a certain amount
- 1:36:34Speaker 22: of refugees... You know, they have to by law. NATO
- 1:36:39Speaker 22: tells them to take them and they pay them to
- 1:36:41Speaker 22: take them. And then they're stuck in the country. And
- 1:36:44Speaker 22: then when people are fed up with them, they go
- 1:36:46Speaker 22: to the streets. They're protesting again. You know what I mean?
- 1:36:49Speaker 22: You guys go back to Biden all the time. You know,
- 1:36:53Speaker 22: in my opinion, it's like that's in the past. Like, Ron,
- 1:36:57Speaker 22: you flip a little bit because you know that Iran.
- 1:37:00Speaker 14: Was a mistake.
- 1:37:03Speaker 2: Once again, I say to you, I believe it was
- 1:37:05Speaker 2: a mistake, but I'm going to say to you again,
- 1:37:07Speaker 2: I don't know everything these guys know. They don't call
- 1:37:11Speaker 2: me into these meetings to say why they're doing what
- 1:37:14Speaker 2: they're doing and explain it to me. So I don't know.
- 1:37:23Speaker 2: I don't see a lot of people from the Democrat
- 1:37:26Speaker 2: side speaking out against the situation in Iran right now
- 1:37:31Speaker 2: with any vim and vigor. I don't see any protests.
- 1:37:34Speaker 2: I don't see any Democrats going and doing it. So
- 1:37:38Speaker 2: I don't know if it was a mistake or not.
- 1:37:40Speaker 2: I don't know what he knows that I don't know.
- 1:37:44Speaker 22: How is it labeled a war if it wasn't sanctioned
- 1:37:48Speaker 22: by Congress first off?
- 1:37:49Speaker 2: Well, it's not labeled a war, but I call.
- 1:37:51Speaker 28: It a war.
- 1:37:52Speaker 22: Well, people call it a war, right?
- 1:37:55Speaker 2: I understand that, sir. What is your point? Did you
- 1:37:59Speaker 2: say you came here illegally? I missed that, or not?
- 1:38:02Speaker 22: Yeah, like 40 years ago.
- 1:38:06Speaker 2: And where were you initially from?
- 1:38:10Speaker 22: Ireland, Dublin, Ireland.
- 1:38:11Speaker 2: Dublin, Ireland. And you came here.
- 1:38:13Speaker 22: And we were talking about.
- 1:38:15Speaker 7: You know.
- 1:38:15Speaker 2: What's happening? Okay, I asked you about what's going on
- 1:38:19Speaker 2: in Ireland now today. Have you seen Ireland?
- 1:38:23Speaker 22: Yeah, I've been back there a few times. And I
- 1:38:25Speaker 22: know the situation over there with the refugees and, you know,
- 1:38:28Speaker 22: being housed ahead of. Irish people and all that sort
- 1:38:31Speaker 22: of stuff.
- 1:38:32Speaker 2: And what do you make of that? What do you
- 1:38:34Speaker 2: make of that situation?
- 1:38:35Speaker 22: Why are these people there to pretend with?
- 1:38:37Speaker 2: Pardon?
- 1:38:38Speaker 4: You know what I mean?
- 1:38:39Speaker 22: These conflicts all around the world are driving these people
- 1:38:41Speaker 22: out of their own houses, right? And everybody's taking them in.
- 1:38:46Speaker 22: You know what I mean? And the government is, you know...
- 1:38:49Speaker 22: housing them until people get tired of them and they're
- 1:38:52Speaker 22: like everybody's a terrorist you know i mean but they're
- 1:38:55Speaker 22: walking around with their hands in their pockets they're not
- 1:38:57Speaker 22: working over there they just get subsidized by our government
- 1:39:01Speaker 22: and that pisses off people that work there it's the
- 1:39:04Speaker 22: same as people come across the southern borders you know
- 1:39:07Speaker 22: they're getting housed you know uh.
- 1:39:11Speaker 29: You know uh Well.
- 1:39:13Speaker 2: Let me interrupt you and ask you, do you think
- 1:39:15Speaker 2: a country has a right to determine the citizens, whether
- 1:39:18Speaker 2: or not you let a bunch of people into your
- 1:39:19Speaker 2: country that waters down your citizenship and changes the entire
- 1:39:24Speaker 2: makeup of a country or a community?
- 1:39:27Speaker 22: Yeah, but if they claim refugees, they can't go back
- 1:39:32Speaker 22: to their homes because they've been bombed. It's an oblivion.
- 1:39:37Speaker 22: You've got to realize where it starts. I mean, most
- 1:39:40Speaker 22: of these people would never leave their country. if that
- 1:39:43Speaker 22: country was back alone.
- 1:39:44Speaker 2: I don't know about that. I think many people would
- 1:39:46Speaker 2: leave to come to the United States of America. G2,
- 1:39:49Speaker 2: what are your thoughts for him?
- 1:39:51Speaker 6: Well, I'm curious. So what you're saying is because there's
- 1:39:54Speaker 6: war around the world, anyone that wants to go to
- 1:39:58Speaker 6: Ireland should be able to go and move in and
- 1:40:01Speaker 6: be cared for.
- 1:40:03Speaker 22: No, not at all. But when you displace millions of people,
- 1:40:06Speaker 22: where are they going to go?
- 1:40:09Speaker 6: So these are separate questions. All right, so hold on.
- 1:40:11Speaker 6: The first question is, As Rod asked, does Ireland have
- 1:40:14Speaker 6: the right to decide who comes into Ireland, and do
- 1:40:17Speaker 6: the Irish people have a right to their country?
- 1:40:21Speaker 22: The Irish people don't have to stay in it at
- 1:40:23Speaker 22: the beginning, because the government brings them in. We're in
- 1:40:27Speaker 22: an island surrounded by water. There's nobody swimming across the
- 1:40:30Speaker 22: Irish Ocean to get into Ireland, or running across the border.
- 1:40:35Speaker 6: I understand the government's doing it. My question is, do
- 1:40:37Speaker 6: you think the Irish people have a right... to their
- 1:40:41Speaker 6: country and that they have a right to determine who
- 1:40:43Speaker 6: comes into their country. Yeah, of course. Or do you
- 1:40:45Speaker 6: think they do not have that right?
- 1:40:47Speaker 22: They do have the right to say it. But, like,
- 1:40:49Speaker 22: who creates it? The government creates it.
- 1:40:53Speaker 4: Right?
- 1:40:54Speaker 22: And then the people look around and say, where do
- 1:40:57Speaker 22: all these people come from? You know what I mean?
- 1:41:00Speaker 22: And then, finally, it's... America allows so many refugees legally
- 1:41:05Speaker 22: into the country, and then they wonder why they're here.
- 1:41:08Speaker 22: Imagine that's 80,000 people in one month.
- 1:41:11Speaker 6: All right. Give me just a moment to ask you
- 1:41:17Speaker 6: a few questions. If you would just answer them, I'd
- 1:41:18Speaker 6: really love to get your perspective on this.
- 1:41:21Speaker 2: And I need you, the Irish guy, to speak up
- 1:41:24Speaker 2: louder because you're mumbling sometimes and it's hard to understand.
- 1:41:27Speaker 2: So speak loudly, please.
- 1:41:29Speaker 14: Okay.
- 1:41:29Speaker 6: All right.
- 1:41:30Speaker 2: And answer the questions as briefly as you can. Okay.
- 1:41:33Speaker 6: So the NESC says in Ireland... that there's a virtuous
- 1:41:38Speaker 6: demographic cycle which involves bringing huge numbers.
- 1:41:41Speaker 7: Of migrants in.
- 1:41:42Speaker 6: This is a council. You can look at Council Report No. 171.
- 1:41:46Speaker 6: And they've used that kind of logic to justify bringing
- 1:41:50Speaker 6: all of these military-age men into Ireland. So now Ireland,
- 1:41:54Speaker 6: a nation of, what, 5.3 or 5.4 million, is being overwhelmed,
- 1:42:00Speaker 6: and the plan is to bring another 5 million in.
- 1:42:03Speaker 7: Should that be allowed to happen?
- 1:42:05Speaker 22: No, of course not.
- 1:42:07Speaker 6: Exactly.
- 1:42:07Speaker 22: Do people in general have a say in that? Until
- 1:42:11Speaker 22: it's too late.
- 1:42:14Speaker 2: But his point is, you need to hear, just like
- 1:42:17Speaker 2: in the United States, you can tell me it's too late.
- 1:42:19Speaker 2: Is it too late? The president of the United States
- 1:42:21Speaker 2: looked the other way, let millions of people come into
- 1:42:24Speaker 2: this country illegally. The next president is trying to get
- 1:42:27Speaker 2: those people out of this country and is fighting a
- 1:42:29Speaker 2: battle over it. So it's not too late in the
- 1:42:32Speaker 2: United States of America. I don't know the laws of Ireland,
- 1:42:36Speaker 2: but the Irish people have said, no one ask us
- 1:42:38Speaker 2: about this. You have all these people taking over our country,
- 1:42:41Speaker 2: and they're sick and damn tired of it. Do you
- 1:42:44Speaker 2: think they have a legitimate point?
- 1:42:46Speaker 22: Of course they do, but there's also, the American government
- 1:42:49Speaker 22: also allows a certain amount of refugees claiming political asylum
- 1:42:55Speaker 22: into the country. 20,000 a month, Ron, was let in.
- 1:43:00Speaker 22: over the last six months, you know, you've got to
- 1:43:03Speaker 22: look at the numbers as well. They're not just all
- 1:43:05Speaker 22: coming across the border. So where are these people coming from?
- 1:43:10Speaker 2: G2, you want.
- 1:43:14Speaker 6: To take that one? Well, you're pointing out the problem
- 1:43:17Speaker 6: exactly correctly, that these governments have been taken over by
- 1:43:22Speaker 6: radical globalists, I was in a coffee shop today where
- 1:43:28Speaker 6: these people have a sign up in the window that says,
- 1:43:30Speaker 6: I stand with migrant families. And you could tell that
- 1:43:33Speaker 6: that kind of propaganda has really corrupted the thinking of
- 1:43:37Speaker 6: a lot of Americans because.
- 1:43:38Speaker 7: As you know if you're watching Ireland, these aren't families
- 1:43:40Speaker 7: coming in.
- 1:43:41Speaker 6: These are military-age men coming in to conquer these nations.
- 1:43:46Speaker 6: So you're pointing out the problem correctly. And what I
- 1:43:50Speaker 6: continue to say is, the Irish people have to stand
- 1:43:53Speaker 6: up to their government and say no more.
- 1:43:55Speaker 7: I know the Irish government.
- 1:43:56Speaker 6: Has Bearcats they'll send out and, you know, water cannons,
- 1:44:00Speaker 6: but it's time for the Irish people to basically take
- 1:44:03Speaker 6: on their own government. I actually think there should be
- 1:44:06Speaker 6: a NATO Article 5 declaration, and NATO should be defending Spain, Ireland,
- 1:44:11Speaker 6: the UK, and France, Germany, all of it. From, first,
- 1:44:15Speaker 6: its government, and secondly, these invaders. So, are you just
- 1:44:19Speaker 6: saying that It's already happening. There's nothing that can be done.
- 1:44:23Speaker 6: So the game is over.
- 1:44:25Speaker 29: Ireland will fall.
- 1:44:26Speaker 22: Well, people say it's too late. So let me ask
- 1:44:28Speaker 22: you this. Does America not bring in political asylum refugees
- 1:44:33Speaker 22: legally on a monthly basis for years? Do they do
- 1:44:37Speaker 22: it or.
- 1:44:40Speaker 2: Not?
- 1:44:41Speaker 29: Sometimes, yes.
- 1:44:41Speaker 2: Yeah, they bring them in. And sometimes they give them
- 1:44:44Speaker 2: temporary status, as we've seen with many of these people
- 1:44:47Speaker 2: from Somalia. But they're still here. And they don't go back.
- 1:44:51Speaker 2: I mean, we've got a major problem going on with
- 1:44:54Speaker 2: the stealing that's going on.
- 1:44:56Speaker 22: So now you have Iranian refugees claiming political asylum.
- 1:45:00Speaker 6: Why?
- 1:45:00Speaker 22: Because we created a conflict over there. Bomb the shit
- 1:45:04Speaker 22: out of them. 93 million people wrong. Where are they
- 1:45:07Speaker 22: going to go?
- 1:45:08Speaker 6: Well, they're going to stay where they are.
- 1:45:11Speaker 8: So here's the thing.
- 1:45:13Speaker 6: They must. We have no obligation to take down our
- 1:45:15Speaker 6: borders and allow them to come in. The Muslims control
- 1:45:18Speaker 6: all of North Africa. They control all the Middle East.
- 1:45:20Speaker 6: They can take in anyone they wish. They can go
- 1:45:23Speaker 6: anywhere they want. These nations of Europe and the United
- 1:45:27Speaker 6: States have no obligation to drop their borders and let
- 1:45:29Speaker 6: these people in.
- 1:45:31Speaker 22: America does not drop their borders. They legally let a
- 1:45:34Speaker 22: certain amount of people into the country legally because they
- 1:45:38Speaker 22: claim political asylum.
- 1:45:39Speaker 2: All right, listen. We're going around in circles here. We're
- 1:45:42Speaker 2: talking about people that come here illegally, and we're talking
- 1:45:45Speaker 2: about the problem in Ireland. We're just going around in
- 1:45:47Speaker 2: circles here. I'm not talking about people coming in on
- 1:45:50Speaker 2: temporary asylum, and the key word is temporary. I'm not
- 1:45:54Speaker 2: talking about this country. And it's not just that. This
- 1:46:00Speaker 2: country takes in more people legally than any other country.
- 1:46:04Speaker 2: You don't see China doing it. You don't see Japan
- 1:46:06Speaker 2: doing it.
- 1:46:08Speaker 6: And remember, saying the word asylum has been treated like
- 1:46:12Speaker 6: a law that overrides or a word that overrides the
- 1:46:16Speaker 6: United States Constitution and the interests of the American people.
- 1:46:19Speaker 6: You say asylum, we're supposed to completely surrender the nation.
- 1:46:22Speaker 6: If 10,000 Mongols were resurrected and rode in on their horses...
- 1:46:28Speaker 6: And they said asylum, we would apparently have to surrender.
- 1:46:30Speaker 6: That's not true. If you're in Iran and it's not
- 1:46:33Speaker 6: working out, you need asylum, go to Iraq. Go to Afghanistan.
- 1:46:37Speaker 6: You can go over to Pakistan. You've got a lot
- 1:46:39Speaker 6: of places to go.
- 1:46:40Speaker 22: There's no reason for you to go to Ireland. America
- 1:46:41Speaker 22: still does take them in. And so does Ireland.
- 1:46:45Speaker 6: Right, so we need to change that is the point.
- 1:46:48Speaker 7: Right, so the point is we need to change that.
- 1:46:49Speaker 6: We need to get our government to represent the people
- 1:46:52Speaker 6: of Ireland and the people of the United States, the
- 1:46:54Speaker 6: people of Spain and the people of Germany. and stop
- 1:46:58Speaker 6: letting these invading hordes come in. And let's not pretend
- 1:47:03Speaker 6: that the asylum claims are real. We don't have 10%
- 1:47:07Speaker 6: of Mexico's population in the U.S. because they don't like
- 1:47:10Speaker 6: living in Mexico. They carry on Mexican flags. They come
- 1:47:13Speaker 6: here to drive down wages for economic opportunity, and many,
- 1:47:17Speaker 6: many millions of them are coming to Europe and the
- 1:47:20Speaker 6: United States for government benefits. And I say, cut off
- 1:47:23Speaker 6: the benefits, send them home. You don't have to go home,
- 1:47:27Speaker 6: but you can't stay here.
- 1:47:28Speaker 2: And here's a novel idea, caller. I just put this
- 1:47:31Speaker 2: out and then I've got to move along. Maybe you
- 1:47:33Speaker 2: should stay in your own country and fix your own country.
- 1:47:37Speaker 2: And because by fleeing, you don't necessarily make make your
- 1:47:41Speaker 2: country better. Just as you're seeing the Irish in Ireland
- 1:47:46Speaker 2: take on their governments and the invasion that they're that
- 1:47:49Speaker 2: they're facing and their government is siding against to their
- 1:47:53Speaker 2: own people at this point in time. It's a tragedy
- 1:47:56Speaker 2: what's going on over there. I thank you for your time.
- 1:47:58Speaker 2: I mean, I mean, that's the bottom line with this
- 1:48:02Speaker 2: whole the whole situation. At no time did Biden say,
- 1:48:11Speaker 2: did anybody vote on this open border looking the other way?
- 1:48:14Speaker 2: They were telling you the borders secure kamala harris's the
- 1:48:17Speaker 2: borders are.
- 1:48:18Speaker 6: Right i mean it was all lies if this if
- 1:48:21Speaker 6: this next phase of invasion is done with ireland is
- 1:48:24Speaker 6: bringing in five million people it's the end of the country.
- 1:48:29Speaker 2: It's the end of ireland is ireland I mean, take
- 1:48:35Speaker 2: a look in this country. I was just watching a
- 1:48:39Speaker 2: video in Dearborn, Michigan. Some guy was holding up a
- 1:48:41Speaker 2: sign about Christianity and the Muslims in Dearborn attacked him.
- 1:48:58Speaker 2: I mean, just attack the guy for his sign. They
- 1:49:01Speaker 2: don't believe in America and freedom of speech. They went
- 1:49:03Speaker 2: and attacked him. Hard to imagine. Are you there? I
- 1:49:13Speaker 2: think I lost him. All right, G2, call back. I
- 1:49:16Speaker 2: think I lost my connection with you on the satellite phone.
- 1:49:20Speaker 2: Let me do this, and hopefully he'll get back to us.
- 1:49:23Speaker 2: Let me do this. Okay, there we go. You're on
- 1:49:25Speaker 2: the air.
- 1:49:26Speaker 29: Hello, hello. Hey, down here in Beaver County, there's some
- 1:49:34Speaker 29: Chinese and American conglomerate bought two mills, one in Fall Center,
- 1:49:39Speaker 29: one in Monaca. And there's a big company up in
- 1:49:44Speaker 29: Cleveland that bought the big mill up here, the steel
- 1:49:47Speaker 29: mill up here in Butler. And there's an ad on
- 1:49:51Speaker 29: television down here. Please come and work for us, United
- 1:49:55Speaker 29: States Steel. Okay, that's Nippon bought that, okay? We need
- 1:49:59Speaker 29: to stop sitting around and feeling sorry for ourselves and
- 1:50:03Speaker 29: go take these jobs before somebody else comes in there
- 1:50:06Speaker 29: from out of the country and take those jobs, don't
- 1:50:08Speaker 29: you think?
- 1:50:12Speaker 2: Do I think that people coming in to take these jobs?
- 1:50:17Speaker 29: Yeah, Nissan, which owns United States Steel, or Nippon, I'm sorry, okay?
- 1:50:22Speaker 29: They're putting ads on TV. Please come and work for us.
- 1:50:25Speaker 4: In the mills.
- 1:50:26Speaker 6: Okay? Yeah.
- 1:50:27Speaker 29: And then they're buying up mills around here.
- 1:50:30Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:50:30Speaker 2: Okay?
- 1:50:31Speaker 29: All right. So we need to stop sitting around and
- 1:50:34Speaker 29: feeling sorry for ourselves and go take these good paying–
- 1:50:39Speaker 29: they're good jobs. They're mill jobs.
- 1:50:41Speaker 6: You're going to be.
- 1:50:42Speaker 29: Paying your income tax and your Social Security and your
- 1:50:46Speaker 29: Medicare and all that stuff. We need people to go
- 1:50:49Speaker 29: and get these jobs.
- 1:50:50Speaker 8: Okay?
- 1:50:50Speaker 2: The best social program is a good job. I agree.
- 1:50:54Speaker 27: Right.
- 1:50:55Speaker 29: So they're available. All you have to do is go
- 1:50:59Speaker 29: and get them. Now, we got these tariffs that Trump
- 1:51:04Speaker 29: has put up are working. These countries are buying up
- 1:51:09Speaker 29: mills around here and putting people to work. And I
- 1:51:13Speaker 29: collect Social Security. I want people to work and pay
- 1:51:16Speaker 29: into Social Security.
- 1:51:18Speaker 2: That's what keeps it going.
- 1:51:19Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 1:51:19Speaker 29: That's right.
- 1:51:20Speaker 2: Listen, I'm in total agreement with you. I'll say it again.
- 1:51:23Speaker 2: You cannot compete with people from India, Vietnam, and China.
- 1:51:26Speaker 2: They don't have our standards. That's why we have tariffs.
- 1:51:29Speaker 2: Thank you for your call. I'll be back in a minute.
- 1:51:32Speaker 23: All right.
- 1:51:36Speaker 2: We got the satellite signal back. G2 from the bunker.
- 1:51:40Speaker 6: I think I'm back on. Can you hear me?
- 1:51:41Speaker 2: I got a copy over.
- 1:51:43Speaker 6: Good, good, great.
- 1:51:44Speaker 2: All right. All right. I mean, it's like. Everyone's supposed
- 1:51:50Speaker 2: to roll over for all of this kind of stuff.
- 1:51:53Speaker 2: I say, you let all these people in. They came
- 1:51:55Speaker 2: here illegally. It's not for the people that are waiting
- 1:51:58Speaker 2: in line to come legally. You're not doing your job
- 1:52:01Speaker 2: as president. You're supposed to secure the border. You lie
- 1:52:04Speaker 2: about it. We have people coming in we know nothing about,
- 1:52:06Speaker 2: including the FBI, talking about terrorists that are coming in
- 1:52:10Speaker 2: or sleeper cells that are coming in. And we know
- 1:52:13Speaker 2: the crime that has happened as a result of it,
- 1:52:15Speaker 2: and no one's held accountable. for any of this at all,
- 1:52:19Speaker 2: and it's just like, well, you should put up with it,
- 1:52:21Speaker 2: you should take it. Well, we didn't have a vote
- 1:52:24Speaker 2: on it. Congress didn't have a vote on it. I mean,
- 1:52:27Speaker 2: it just happened, but you get the bill.
- 1:52:31Speaker 6: That's right, and that's the thing. We don't have to
- 1:52:33Speaker 6: just sit here and say, it's okay, you could destroy
- 1:52:36Speaker 6: our country, you could take away our prosperity, you could
- 1:52:39Speaker 6: tax us into oblivion to pay rent for people from
- 1:52:42Speaker 6: other nations. We don't have to accept it. We can
- 1:52:46Speaker 6: just simply say no. We just have to say no
- 1:52:48Speaker 6: in large enough numbers that they listen to us.
- 1:52:51Speaker 2: Right. And I think that you're going to see, perhaps
- 1:52:57Speaker 2: because of the economy, stupid as Carville said, but if
- 1:53:00Speaker 2: you vote for the Democrats and you think that they
- 1:53:02Speaker 2: got a pro-energy policy, you're kidding yourself. Agree? Absolutely.
- 1:53:08Speaker 6: I mean, again, look at the price of gasoline right
- 1:53:10Speaker 6: now in California, which I think is $ 6. 43 or something
- 1:53:13Speaker 6: in that range. Something like that, 640, 643, something in
- 1:53:19Speaker 6: that range. You know, that's in the same world we're
- 1:53:22Speaker 6: living in. Same straight-over-moves problem, same issue with Ukraine taking
- 1:53:27Speaker 6: out Russian energy infrastructure, and yet they have a $ 2
- 1:53:31Speaker 6: premium over other states because of Democrat policy. Nothing else.
- 1:53:35Speaker 6: There's no other factor. They've destroyed or transformed or transitioned
- 1:53:40Speaker 6: their refining capacity, making them more dependent upon imports. and
- 1:53:44Speaker 6: they've driven up taxes and done other things to make
- 1:53:47Speaker 6: sure that they have a very, very high gas price.
- 1:53:50Speaker 6: You want that nationwide? Vote for Sherrod Brown.
- 1:53:53Speaker 2: A guy that spent over 30 years incited with everything
- 1:53:57Speaker 2: Biden did.
- 1:53:58Speaker 6: You know, that's what I really, I mean, I found
- 1:54:00Speaker 6: it incredibly clever and deceptive, but every one of his
- 1:54:04Speaker 6: billboards in Youngstown identifies a problem he created when he
- 1:54:08Speaker 6: was in the Senate. and somehow implies he's had an epiphany,
- 1:54:11Speaker 6: an awakening, and he's going to fix it now if
- 1:54:13Speaker 6: he gets back in. You know, inflation. Hey, he's the
- 1:54:16Speaker 6: guy that drove up the $ 40 trillion of debt. He
- 1:54:19Speaker 6: was in there for 30 years, right? And it's the
- 1:54:23Speaker 6: government spending that drives inflation.
- 1:54:24Speaker 7: He's the one that piled on the regulations.
- 1:54:26Speaker 6: He supported all of it. Now suddenly he's had an awakening,
- 1:54:30Speaker 6: and he's going to what? Undo 30 years of bad actions?
- 1:54:34Speaker 6: It's preposterous, but it might be effective messaging.
- 1:54:37Speaker 2: Although we do see the debt going up by trillions
- 1:54:40Speaker 2: under Trump.
- 1:54:41Speaker 6: Well, it doesn't matter right now who's president. There's nothing
- 1:54:44Speaker 6: we can do to stop this debt from going to
- 1:54:45Speaker 6: $ 50 trillion. When the Republicans and Democrats came together for
- 1:54:50Speaker 6: the big, beautiful bill, and you remember then the Democrats
- 1:54:53Speaker 6: shut down the government, demanding even more spending. When they
- 1:54:56Speaker 6: did that, they set that $ 5 trillion increase in debt.
- 1:55:00Speaker 6: The Democrats wanted it to be $ 6. 5 trillion or so.
- 1:55:02Speaker 6: All right, so they wanted $ 6. 5 trillion. It ends up
- 1:55:05Speaker 6: at $ 5 trillion. But then the interest rates are up,
- 1:55:07Speaker 6: and so we're at $ 50 trillion. There's nothing anyone can
- 1:55:11Speaker 6: do to stop it short of the American people demanding
- 1:55:14Speaker 6: that Congress cut the spending. That's the only way to
- 1:55:17Speaker 6: stop it.
- 1:55:18Speaker 2: But when Elon Musk was doing that... Look what the
- 1:55:22Speaker 2: Democrats did to destroy him, his reputation. They attacked his dealerships.
- 1:55:27Speaker 2: They attacked his customers. They attacked Elon Musk to the
- 1:55:31Speaker 2: point where he had to leave to go back to
- 1:55:32Speaker 2: his company. If he can't solve this problem with this technology,
- 1:55:37Speaker 2: who can? And after he exposed all of this wasteful
- 1:55:40Speaker 2: spending that the Democrats defended.
- 1:55:43Speaker 6: Right. You know, that's the craziness of it, isn't it?
- 1:55:48Speaker 6: That That they pushed all of this, and now they
- 1:55:51Speaker 6: want to run as if they're going to fix it.
- 1:55:53Speaker 6: They're not going to fix anything. And if they get
- 1:55:57Speaker 6: power back, it's going to be a heck of a fight. But,
- 1:56:00Speaker 6: you know, again, are the American people paying attention? Are
- 1:56:03Speaker 6: they thinking it through? Or does that three-second message on
- 1:56:06Speaker 6: a billboard really set their mind? They don't think of
- 1:56:08Speaker 6: it for that fourth second and go, wait a minute.
- 1:56:11Speaker 6: Isn't he the guy that did all these things?
- 1:56:13Speaker 2: But I would say this to you. I think that
- 1:56:15Speaker 2: there's a little bit going on here in Ukraine. If
- 1:56:18Speaker 2: Zelensky isn't listening to Trump and is continuing to attack Ukraine,
- 1:56:25Speaker 2: refining in Russia, and then the Houthis are doing that
- 1:56:29Speaker 2: in Saudi Arabia, they know that's going to raise gas
- 1:56:32Speaker 2: prices here and have a huge effect on the midterms.
- 1:56:37Speaker 2: It's almost like there's an agenda. I want to get
- 1:56:39Speaker 2: your reaction to that after the break. Ron Verbeck with
- 1:56:42Speaker 2: G2 in a minute. We pause for the headlines at 5.30.
- 1:56:45Speaker 2: We're here tonight until 6.00. Guardians at 7.30.
- 1:56:52Speaker 31: The NCAA for the first time ever taking a governor
- 1:56:55Speaker 31: to court. A lawsuit filed against Governor Mike DeWine's executive
- 1:56:58Speaker 31: order today that he signed on Tuesday, allowing Ohio universities
- 1:57:01Speaker 31: and colleges the option to grant student athletes who graduated
- 1:57:04Speaker 31: from high school in 2022 a fifth season of eligibility.
- 1:57:07Speaker 31: DeWine's order going against the NCAA's new rule that excludes
- 1:57:10Speaker 31: those who have already played four seasons. That new rule
- 1:57:13Speaker 31: is facing legal challenges across the country. In southwest Ohio,
- 1:57:16Speaker 31: closing arguments will come Tuesday in the trial for a
- 1:57:18Speaker 31: man accused of striking and killing a Hamilton County Sheriff's
- 1:57:21Speaker 31: deputy with his vehicle. Rodney Hinton Jr. charged with aggravated murder,
- 1:57:25Speaker 31: but the judge is allowing the jury to consider a
- 1:57:27Speaker 31: lesser charge of reckless homicide. This after a request came
- 1:57:30Speaker 31: from Hinton's attorneys who have argued their client was trying
- 1:57:32Speaker 31: to take his own life when he struck a pole
- 1:57:34Speaker 31: with his vehicle, but while doing so, hit Sheriff's Deputy
- 1:57:37Speaker 31: Larry Henderson. College Football Saturday, No. 4 Ohio State at

- 1:57:50Speaker 3: Free never sounded so good.
- 1:57:55Speaker 1: Now, Ron Verb on NewsRadio 570 WKBN.
- 1:58:00Speaker 2: At 533 NewsRadio 570 WKBN on a gloomy, kind of rainy,
- 1:58:05Speaker 2: gloomy overcast day with 56 degrees here on this Friday afternoon.
- 1:58:10Speaker 2: Ron Perp from the Kingdom of Mahoning will be with
- 1:58:13Speaker 2: you until 6 tonight. Sean Hannity at 6. Then, of course,
- 1:58:18Speaker 2: so far, Guardians baseball pregame, 735. Tom Hamilton and Rosie
- 1:58:24Speaker 2: at a little after 8 with the first pitch. Still
- 1:58:27Speaker 2: a go, to the best of my knowledge, at this time.
- 1:58:30Speaker 2: That'll be tonight. For Saturday, just so you know, on Saturday,
- 1:58:34Speaker 2: we'll be carrying a YSU football game at the same
- 1:58:38Speaker 2: time that the Guardians play. So our commitments to the YSU.
- 1:58:43Speaker 2: So we will have the Guardians on our sister station
- 1:58:45Speaker 2: for Saturday only at 8 o'clock on 1390 WNIO. Just
- 1:58:50Speaker 2: so you know. There you go. All right. Back with G2.
- 1:58:53Speaker 2: It's almost like there's an agenda to get these oil
- 1:58:55Speaker 2: prices up.
- 1:58:57Speaker 6: Well, there is. I mean, the Iranians and their agents
- 1:59:00Speaker 6: in Yemen and elsewhere all understand that this gas price
- 1:59:05Speaker 6: is really driving Americans to either not.
- 1:59:09Speaker 7: Vote or react badly.
- 1:59:10Speaker 6: Makes sense, right? So they know that. They're pushing it.
- 1:59:13Speaker 6: The Democrats are pushing the narrative here for them, and
- 1:59:16Speaker 6: it's working. Here's the thing, though. They're getting extremely desperate.
- 1:59:20Speaker 6: So there was a report that came out a couple
- 1:59:22Speaker 6: of days ago, and it was about these– sort of provinces,
- 1:59:28Speaker 6: if you will, Balochistan and, oh, what was the other one?
- 1:59:34Speaker 6: Sistan and Balochistan. Okay, and they said that the IRGC
- 1:59:39Speaker 6: and the bureaucrats are basically being hunted. Okay, that's a
- 1:59:42Speaker 6: little bit hyperbolic, and I wasn't so sure about the source,
- 1:59:45Speaker 6: so I asked some people who know such things, and
- 1:59:47Speaker 6: they came back and said that's real. So we've seen
- 1:59:50Speaker 6: already that the Kurds are beginning to push back and
- 1:59:53Speaker 6: cause some problems. Now we've got this Other group, the
- 1:59:56Speaker 6: JNN militant group, pushing back, causing some problems. You've got
- 2:00:01Speaker 6: rampant hyperinflation. You've got GDP contracting. You can't export any
- 2:00:07Speaker 6: kind of energy. You can't export other goods. You can't
- 2:00:09Speaker 6: import anything. Iran is under an incredible amount of pressure.
- 2:00:13Speaker 6: So their best tactic is to try to disrupt the
- 2:00:15Speaker 6: energy supply infrastructure around the world. And that's what they're doing.
- 2:00:21Speaker 6: But I just don't see that going much further because,
- 2:00:24Speaker 6: you know, they're getting to a point where they keep going,
- 2:00:27Speaker 6: and it's going to get even worse for them because
- 2:00:29Speaker 6: they have every surrounding Gulf Coast country, everything along the
- 2:00:33Speaker 6: Persian Gulf, looking at them as an enemy. You've got
- 2:00:36Speaker 6: then us and, of course, Israel, you know, who could
- 2:00:38Speaker 6: just start bombing again at any time in a big,
- 2:00:40Speaker 6: big way. I just– the pressures are significant. Now, how
- 2:00:45Speaker 6: soon can that turn into a resolution? We don't know.
- 2:00:48Speaker 6: I mean, there have been discussions, but we don't know
- 2:00:49Speaker 6: how soon– this could actually become a resolution. But the
- 2:00:53Speaker 6: minute it does, you're going to see oil prices drop again,
- 2:00:56Speaker 6: and you're going to see energy prices go down. And
- 2:00:59Speaker 6: for the folks that are only thinking about that, that
- 2:01:02Speaker 6: would be helpful. So let's hope that happens sometime in
- 2:01:05Speaker 6: the next couple of, you know, four weeks.
- 2:01:08Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 2:01:08Speaker 6: It's hard to say when something will really, really shift.
- 2:01:12Speaker 6: But there's no question that it is getting very, very
- 2:01:14Speaker 6: difficult inside Iran.
- 2:01:17Speaker 2: Yeah, and like I say, all Iran has to do
- 2:01:20Speaker 2: to win is simply survive. I mean, that's all they
- 2:01:23Speaker 2: have to do. And that's what their motivation is, and
- 2:01:26Speaker 2: they have. I've got to give them credit to this
- 2:01:28Speaker 2: point in time, but you're saying they're basically holding on,
- 2:01:33Speaker 2: waiting for the midterms, hoping that the Democrats take control
- 2:01:36Speaker 2: because then they think that'll give them relief.
- 2:01:40Speaker 6: Oh, absolutely. They think if the Democrats, you know, their
- 2:01:43Speaker 6: allies get in, At least their allies for now. Look,
- 2:01:45Speaker 6: Israel also has tremendous influence among the Democrats. This Israel
- 2:01:49Speaker 6: overhang over the election is a problem. A lot of
- 2:01:52Speaker 6: folks absolutely feel like the United States is being dominated
- 2:01:55Speaker 6: by Israel. I know that a lot of people say
- 2:01:57Speaker 6: that's silly, but go back and listen to Barry Goldwater
- 2:02:00Speaker 6: say it in 19, I think, roughly 88, talking about
- 2:02:03Speaker 6: Pat Buchanan. Barry Goldwater, of course, half-Jewish. This is a
- 2:02:09Speaker 6: real perception. When they ran Thomas Massey out of office
- 2:02:12Speaker 6: with that $ 30 million, nobody spends $ 30 million on a
- 2:02:16Speaker 6: primary except Israelis. So there's a real feeling among many
- 2:02:22Speaker 6: voters that the U.S. has no representation in Congress, but
- 2:02:24Speaker 6: Israel does. India does. Of course, the Muslims do. The
- 2:02:31Speaker 6: Chinese Communist Party seems to have a pretty good representation
- 2:02:34Speaker 6: in Congress. Just not us. And so that's driving people
- 2:02:37Speaker 6: to say, I'm not going to vote. Look, I understand
- 2:02:40Speaker 6: it's just the wrong answer.
- 2:02:41Speaker 7: If you don't vote, you're completely.
- 2:02:42Speaker 6: Irrelevant, and you hand everything to the other side. If
- 2:02:45Speaker 6: you think the Democrats aren't influenced by Israel, you're out
- 2:02:48Speaker 6: of your mind. I mean, you think Chuck Schumer doesn't
- 2:02:52Speaker 6: have a relationship with Tel Aviv?
- 2:02:53Speaker 4: That's naive.
- 2:02:55Speaker 6: So you're not going to solve that problem by simply
- 2:02:57Speaker 6: allowing radical Marxists like Sherrod Brown and Abdul Al-Assad to
- 2:03:03Speaker 6: take over Congress. That's not smart. So you've got to
- 2:03:07Speaker 6: get in there and vote this time, and then you've
- 2:03:10Speaker 6: got to get active afterwards to make something happen. But
- 2:03:12Speaker 6: there's no question that the Iranians are looking at the
- 2:03:15Speaker 6: situation and saying, hey, if we can get the Democrats
- 2:03:19Speaker 6: into power, that's going to be a serious problem for Trump.
- 2:03:22Speaker 6: They will basically shut him down, and they think they
- 2:03:24Speaker 6: will be able to persevere. But you made an interesting point, Ron,
- 2:03:29Speaker 6: earlier in the show, which is you don't hear Democrats
- 2:03:31Speaker 6: screaming about Iran. They're talking about the gas price to
- 2:03:35Speaker 6: get votes. But you don't see him running around talking
- 2:03:38Speaker 6: about Iran. You don't see the billionaires that fund no kings,
- 2:03:42Speaker 6: which is.
- 2:03:42Speaker 7: Funny in and of itself, right?
- 2:03:43Speaker 6: The billionaires that fund the sort of 30 percenters who
- 2:03:46Speaker 6: go out thinking they're protesting kings when they're using billionaires' money,
- 2:03:50Speaker 6: following billionaires' instructions. But you don't see the billionaires running,
- 2:03:54Speaker 6: drop the war in Iran, you know, events and messaging.
- 2:03:59Speaker 4: They're not doing that.
- 2:04:00Speaker 6: They're just talking about inflation as if inflation began on
- 2:04:04Speaker 6: February 28th, which is, of course... So, you know, this
- 2:04:08Speaker 6: is a game of messaging and a game of deception,
- 2:04:12Speaker 6: and we just have to hope that more Americans can
- 2:04:14Speaker 6: see through it than not.
- 2:04:17Speaker 2: Absolutely. But I'm not optimistic on it. Of course, I
- 2:04:21Speaker 2: don't believe the polls on anything anymore. I just I
- 2:04:24Speaker 2: don't know what what to make of them. But I
- 2:04:27Speaker 2: do think the economy and you take a look here, G2,
- 2:04:31Speaker 2: the gas prices here at 420 a gallon. If we
- 2:04:34Speaker 2: didn't take off the state tax, it'd be at 450
- 2:04:37Speaker 2: a gallon. So you sit back and say, well, they
- 2:04:39Speaker 2: were 370 for a very short period of time. But
- 2:04:42Speaker 2: because of the actions in Ukraine and in Saudi Arabia,
- 2:04:45Speaker 2: they shot right back up. And, I mean, they are
- 2:04:50Speaker 2: where they are. And somewhere along the line, we've got
- 2:04:53Speaker 2: to get a resolution of something. I mean, I definitely
- 2:04:56Speaker 2: think it will hurt Trump in email. The number in
- 2:04:58Speaker 2: California is 624. So when it was 433 national average
- 2:05:00Speaker 2: in the U.S.
- 2:05:00Speaker 6: As a whole, including California, it was $ 6. 24 in California.
- 2:05:02Speaker 6: Almost a $ 2 difference. And so the point is correct.
- 2:05:16Speaker 6: I mean, gas prices are up. The problem is, you know,
- 2:05:19Speaker 6: we're producing 13 million barrels a year, a day now.
- 2:05:24Speaker 6: We have, you know, the prospect of maybe building some
- 2:05:26Speaker 6: new refining capacity. We have this great new situation potentially
- 2:05:31Speaker 6: coming out of Venezuela that could be years of really
- 2:05:35Speaker 6: different sort of energy structures in this country. Or you
- 2:05:40Speaker 6: vote for Sherrod Brown and throw that away, and you're
- 2:05:42Speaker 6: going to get to the California number of 624.
- 2:05:46Speaker 7: I understand the problem, as you do.
- 2:05:48Speaker 6: It's just that, as we know, it can't get better
- 2:05:51Speaker 6: by implementing worse policy. This Iran war is temporary. Democrat
- 2:05:56Speaker 6: policies last as long as they're in power. And I'll
- 2:05:59Speaker 6: tell you, they're going to be hard to get out
- 2:06:00Speaker 6: of power again. To the polls, I don't trust all polls.
- 2:06:05Speaker 6: But I do look at Mark Mitchell's work at Honest Polls.
- 2:06:09Speaker 6: And I look at some other polls, if they look
- 2:06:11Speaker 6: like they're maybe about issues and not, if they look
- 2:06:14Speaker 6: not skewed. And there's one actual poll that Fox News did.
- 2:06:17Speaker 6: I never look at Fox News polls, but this one
- 2:06:19Speaker 6: was unique. And it's about what people are concerned about.
- 2:06:23Speaker 6: Eighty-eight percent of Americans, the highest issue that they got
- 2:06:27Speaker 6: ranked as a concern for Americans, corruption in government. And
- 2:06:30Speaker 6: this comes back to Doge, right? And that's why Congress
- 2:06:34Speaker 6: fought Doge so hard, because they are all corrupt. Not
- 2:06:37Speaker 6: all of them. That's not fair. I mean, there's Scott
- 2:06:39Speaker 6: Perry in Pennsylvania. There's Tim, what's his name, in Tennessee.
- 2:06:43Speaker 6: You know, there are a couple that I think actually
- 2:06:45Speaker 6: aren't corrupt. But as a whole, the institution is horribly corrupted.
- 2:06:49Speaker 6: The next one is inflation and high prices. Well, how
- 2:06:52Speaker 6: do you fix that? Regulatory relief, and you stop printing money.
- 2:06:56Speaker 6: That's it.
- 2:06:57Speaker 7: It's not any harder than that. It's not raising interest rates.
- 2:07:01Speaker 7: It's not that.
- 2:07:01Speaker 6: It's regulatory relief and stop printing money. And then it's
- 2:07:05Speaker 6: gas prices as number three. Health care is number four. Well,
- 2:07:09Speaker 6: the gas prices we have an answer for because, you know,
- 2:07:12Speaker 6: we're drilling more. We're going to hopefully refine more. We've
- 2:07:15Speaker 6: got this relationship with Venezuela. Potentially after the Iran war,
- 2:07:19Speaker 6: you're going to have more oil flowing through the strait
- 2:07:21Speaker 6: at market price. We won't be looking at China buying
- 2:07:23Speaker 6: it below market. I mean, this could really be long-term beneficial.
- 2:07:27Speaker 6: And then with health care, we just have to get
- 2:07:30Speaker 6: down to a capitalist model in health care and get
- 2:07:33Speaker 6: away from this government overreach. But nobody is proposing a meaningful,
- 2:07:39Speaker 6: thoughtful approach to health care. So we've got to set
- 2:07:41Speaker 6: that aside. The number one issue, corruption. The number two, inflation.
- 2:07:45Speaker 6: The number three, gas prices. But can you see the
- 2:07:48Speaker 6: difference between the national average, the Ohio number, the.
- 2:07:52Speaker 7: Pennsylvania number for those listeners, and.
- 2:07:54Speaker 6: The California number in exactly the same market conditions? You're
- 2:07:58Speaker 6: looking at $ 1. 90. more just because of democrat policies you
- 2:08:03Speaker 6: want to go from 4 30 to 5 30 6
- 2:08:04Speaker 6: 20 go ahead vote for sherrod brown yeah and it's uh.
- 2:08:14Speaker 2: I mean, what's your best guess? Do you think that
- 2:08:18Speaker 2: they'll lose the House or the Senate? What's your thinking
- 2:08:22Speaker 2: as we talk today?
- 2:08:24Speaker 6: I think there's a really substantial chance to lose the House.
- 2:08:27Speaker 6: I think the Republican Party as a whole. Now, you know,
- 2:08:30Speaker 6: there's some great stuff happening in Ohio, to be fair, right?
- 2:08:32Speaker 6: Ohio's doing some great work. But when you look across
- 2:08:35Speaker 6: the border of Pennsylvania, it's a disaster. When you look
- 2:08:38Speaker 6: at some of these other states, Michigan, where they've had
- 2:08:41Speaker 6: just incredible problems over the last four or five years.
- 2:08:44Speaker 6: You look at these other states. It's not being run
- 2:08:48Speaker 6: to implement Republican voters' goals. It's not being run for that.
- 2:08:54Speaker 6: And they're not backing some of the critical races. So
- 2:08:58Speaker 6: I don't think the Republican Party is as effective a
- 2:09:00Speaker 6: machine as it would be if it had some ideology
- 2:09:03Speaker 6: in it, if people cared about policy, who are running
- 2:09:05Speaker 6: the party. Again, I'm not talking about, like, Mahoning and
- 2:09:09Speaker 6: Columbia and County. I'm not... You know, there are issues
- 2:09:12Speaker 6: in Ohio.
- 2:09:12Speaker 7: But it's not anything like what you.
- 2:09:13Speaker 6: See in, say, again, in Michigan. So I think we
- 2:09:17Speaker 6: need some ideological people in there, but I just think
- 2:09:20Speaker 6: it's going to be really hard to hold the House.
- 2:09:22Speaker 6: And I think if you go back to our conversations
- 2:09:25Speaker 6: in January 25 when they announced their first recess or
- 2:09:28Speaker 6: early February when we realized how many days they were
- 2:09:30Speaker 6: taking off out of the first hundred, and it never
- 2:09:33Speaker 6: got better that they weren't going to make these executive
- 2:09:35Speaker 6: orders into law, and we said then– It's Congress that's
- 2:09:38Speaker 6: doing damage to the Republican Party. It's not Trump. If
- 2:09:41Speaker 6: they implemented his policies, he would be absolutely unstoppable. They've
- 2:09:46Speaker 6: refused to do that. So I think it's highly likely
- 2:09:49Speaker 6: that they lose the House, and it just depends on
- 2:09:52Speaker 6: whether or not more Republicans get out and vote, and
- 2:09:56Speaker 6: vote even if they don't like a Mike Rogers. Vote
- 2:09:59Speaker 6: for a Mike Rogers, because otherwise you're going to get
- 2:10:01Speaker 6: Abdel El-Sayed.
- 2:10:03Speaker 4: If you don't think.
- 2:10:03Speaker 6: John Husted's your buddy, you're not going to go have
- 2:10:05Speaker 6: a beer with him. That's a stupid thing they used
- 2:10:07Speaker 6: to tell us. You know, vote for the person you'd
- 2:10:09Speaker 6: like to have a beer with. That's just dumb. Look,
- 2:10:11Speaker 6: John Husted, you may have problems with him. He's going
- 2:10:14Speaker 6: to implement better policy than Sherrod Brown. We know that.
- 2:10:17Speaker 9: We've seen the histories.
- 2:10:18Speaker 6: So, you know, you're not voting for your buddy, for
- 2:10:21Speaker 6: your lifelong friend, or your chum. You're voting for a
- 2:10:24Speaker 6: guy to do a job. In this, you have two choices,
- 2:10:27Speaker 6: a Marxist and a guy that isn't a Marxist. I
- 2:10:30Speaker 6: don't think that leaves you much room for wiggle there.
- 2:10:32Speaker 6: You've just got to go with the non-Marxist.
- 2:10:35Speaker 2: All right, so with G2, let me see if we
- 2:10:38Speaker 2: can take some calls. Get a little close to the
- 2:10:40Speaker 2: phone or something. Our quality on that satellite feed is
- 2:10:42Speaker 2: not that great.
- 2:10:43Speaker 3: Hello?
- 2:10:44Speaker 6: Yeah, this is tough. Hey, how are you guys doing?
- 2:10:47Speaker 4: Good.
- 2:10:48Speaker 2: It's Mike. You're on with G2, Mike.
- 2:10:51Speaker 6: Yeah, hey, it sounds like G2 should be careful. That
- 2:10:55Speaker 6: first caller that you guys had, the Irish guy, I
- 2:10:58Speaker 6: think he found Captain Jameson.
- 2:11:00Speaker 2: Nobody knows where Johnson Jameson is. He's got a protection detail,
- 2:11:05Speaker 2: and he's the only one. You could torture him, and
- 2:11:07Speaker 2: he wouldn't tell you where G2' s at. You could make
- 2:11:10Speaker 2: him walk on a bed of nails, hot glass. It
- 2:11:12Speaker 2: doesn't matter.
- 2:11:14Speaker 6: All right, so let's talk about Alec today, okay? The
- 2:11:21Speaker 6: guy whines constantly about opportunity and, you know, but Going
- 2:11:26Speaker 6: back a few weeks, he was talking about not having,
- 2:11:29Speaker 6: this generation, not having access to, oh, going on vacation.
- 2:11:35Speaker 6: You know, they've got, you know, two cell phones, three
- 2:11:38Speaker 6: cell phones, two cars. You know, when we were growing up,
- 2:11:43Speaker 6: and even when my kids were growing up, Ron, I
- 2:11:46Speaker 6: talked to you about, you know, how much we spent
- 2:11:49Speaker 6: on just parochial tuition, which would drive you crazy. But
- 2:11:55Speaker 6: we didn't do a lot of things because of that.
- 2:11:58Speaker 6: But this next generation, all they want to do, they
- 2:12:03Speaker 6: want to have their cake and eat it too. And
- 2:12:05Speaker 6: that's not possible. Especially when the federal government has the
- 2:12:12Speaker 6: monopoly on our dollars. So, you know, Alec, come on, man.
- 2:12:22Speaker 6: When these whiners... start complaining about not having access to
- 2:12:26Speaker 6: this or that, ask them how many phones they have
- 2:12:29Speaker 6: or how many cars or TVs, what their cable bill is.
- 2:12:33Speaker 6: You know, tell them to, you know, just pull up
- 2:12:36Speaker 6: their bootstraps. And, but the one thing that was really,
- 2:12:42Speaker 6: you know, that I talk about these so-called conservatives, the
- 2:12:45Speaker 6: first thing he said was about Trump coming to Youngstown
- 2:12:51Speaker 6: was what's he going to do for us?
- 2:12:54Speaker 4: What does that mean?
- 2:12:55Speaker 7: I mean, is he going to have a rally?
- 2:12:58Speaker 6: Okay. Is he supposed to bring money? Money that's going
- 2:13:02Speaker 6: to be printed for whatever, I don't know, the local
- 2:13:07Speaker 6: people want to buy. You know, some data center or
- 2:13:13Speaker 6: something like that. I mean, we've gotten so far away from,
- 2:13:20Speaker 6: you know, people being responsible for for their lot in
- 2:13:24Speaker 6: life that.
- 2:13:27Speaker 4: And it is getting.
- 2:13:28Speaker 6: Worse because times are getting worse and people are getting desperate.
- 2:13:32Speaker 6: And I don't know this... It's within the last couple weeks.
- 2:13:34Speaker 6: Somebody was talking about on your show, Ron, you know,
- 2:13:37Speaker 6: as these people become more desperate, they become more dependent. So,
- 2:13:45Speaker 6: you know, at some point in time, this is going
- 2:13:49Speaker 6: to crash. There's going to be bad things economically happening. And,
- 2:13:55Speaker 6: you know, you can blame it on prior generations. Heck,
- 2:13:59Speaker 6: I blame a lot on Social Security. But that'll be
- 2:14:02Speaker 6: a topic for Monday. The, you know, who's going to
- 2:14:07Speaker 6: pick up the tab? Who's willing to? There's pain coming.
- 2:14:11Speaker 6: But everyone wants to kick it down the road to
- 2:14:13Speaker 6: the next generation. I'm not interested in that.
- 2:14:17Speaker 2: Comment, G2?
- 2:14:21Speaker 6: The problem we have is that we can't deal with
- 2:14:24Speaker 6: what's in front of us. So, as you put it,
- 2:14:25Speaker 6: we kick it down the road. We kick the can
- 2:14:27Speaker 6: down the road. You know, this is a problem that's
- 2:14:30Speaker 6: grown over these last 20, 30 years in a way
- 2:14:32Speaker 6: that I never imagined was possible. I will tell you,
- 2:14:35Speaker 6: I absolutely never believed we'd end up with $ 40 trillion
- 2:14:38Speaker 6: in debt and $ 250 trillion in unfunded liabilities. I never
- 2:14:42Speaker 6: believed it. And yet, here we are, headed for $ 50
- 2:14:44Speaker 6: trillion in debt. We've... We're going to come to a
- 2:14:49Speaker 6: point where we can't sell the bonds. That's why they're
- 2:14:52Speaker 6: trying to do stablecoin. And so we've got to stop
- 2:14:57Speaker 6: dumping this stuff on those kids. At the same time,
- 2:15:00Speaker 6: of course, the younger generation can't really sit there when
- 2:15:04Speaker 6: everybody's got a $ 1, 500 phone and they're living in a
- 2:15:07Speaker 6: $ 2, 500- a- month apartment and maybe driving expensive cars and then complain
- 2:15:13Speaker 6: about everything, right? We all have to pitch in here.
- 2:15:18Speaker 6: The 18 to 39s have to do the same kinds
- 2:15:21Speaker 6: of things, make the same kinds of sacrifices the boomers made.
- 2:15:24Speaker 6: The boomers have to stop using H-1Bs and migrants to
- 2:15:28Speaker 6: drive down wages for the 18 to 39s, right? You
- 2:15:32Speaker 6: have to stop, as boomers that run private equity firms
- 2:15:35Speaker 6: and younger millennials that run private equity firms, going to
- 2:15:38Speaker 6: get your carpenters from Honduras.
- 2:15:40Speaker 7: Because you don't want to go to Cleveland and find them.
- 2:15:44Speaker 6: You know, it's We've all got to change our attitude
- 2:15:48Speaker 6: if we want to save this country. You can't just
- 2:15:50Speaker 6: keep taking and taking and taking and expect.
- 2:15:53Speaker 7: Something to be left.
- 2:15:54Speaker 6: We're taking the flesh off the bones here. Now, a
- 2:15:57Speaker 6: lot of people, this is the K economy, a lot
- 2:16:00Speaker 6: of people are making a lot of money with this
- 2:16:02Speaker 6: $ 2 trillion that the government is running the deficit. You know,
- 2:16:05Speaker 6: it's really $ 7. 5 trillion of spending. A lot of people
- 2:16:08Speaker 6: are getting very rich. The Somalis were making billions stealing,
- 2:16:12Speaker 6: you know, welfare entitlement money. People are making a lot
- 2:16:17Speaker 6: of money. The people that were selling supercars to Somalis
- 2:16:20Speaker 6: were making a lot of money on this system. But
- 2:16:23Speaker 6: it's not sustainable. It's not the foundation for a long-term,
- 2:16:26Speaker 6: successful country. We've got to fix it, or we will
- 2:16:30Speaker 6: face a collapse of a sort that will make the
- 2:16:34Speaker 6: Depression seem less scary.
- 2:16:37Speaker 2: There you go, Mike. Got a pause.
- 2:16:39Speaker 3: Well said.
- 2:16:39Speaker 7: Well said.
- 2:16:40Speaker 2: Thank you. G2 standby. Back in a minute. News Radio
- 2:16:43Speaker 2: 570 WKBN.
- 2:16:45Speaker 18: 552.
- 2:16:45Speaker 2: We're at 55 degrees. Getting colder as the night goes on.
- 2:16:48Speaker 2: Ron Furb, Kingdom of Mahoney. Week number eight of the
- 2:16:53Speaker 2: high school football season in the books.
- 2:16:55Speaker 1: News, weather, and talk station. 570 WKBN.
- 2:17:00Speaker 2: It's 555. News Radio 570 WKBN. Ron Furb from the
- 2:17:03Speaker 2: Kingdom of Mahoney. Say as it stands right now, Guardians
- 2:17:07Speaker 2: pregame scheduled at 7.35 tonight. Tom Hamilton, Rosie, call the game.
- 2:17:12Speaker 2: It's a little bit after 8 o'clock right here on
- 2:17:15Speaker 2: NewsRadio 570 WKBN. Once again tomorrow, the game will be
- 2:17:19Speaker 2: at 8 o'clock once again. We are committed to our
- 2:17:22Speaker 2: YSU football coverage here on 570 WKBN contractually, so we're
- 2:17:26Speaker 2: going to have YSU football on tomorrow at 8 o'clock.
- 2:17:30Speaker 2: You will find Rosie and Tom Hamilton. The Guardians play-by-play
- 2:17:33Speaker 2: will be featured on our sister station, 1390 WNIO, for
- 2:17:38Speaker 2: that day only. For Saturday, the game tomorrow will be
- 2:17:43Speaker 2: on 1390 WNIO at 8 o'clock. All right, so just
- 2:17:47Speaker 2: finagling things around here because of some of the conflicts
- 2:17:50Speaker 2: with some of our coverage here. But it's all good.
- 2:17:55Speaker 2: It's all good. All right, 5.56. I mean, we're not
- 2:17:59Speaker 2: that far out, obviously, from voting day. I mean, early
- 2:18:04Speaker 2: voting has already started, but we're not that far out
- 2:18:07Speaker 2: from people– Casting their ballots, and we shall see. All
- 2:18:14Speaker 2: you're trying to say is, and I agree, it's economy stupid,
- 2:18:18Speaker 2: but on the other hand, I don't want to go
- 2:18:20Speaker 2: back to the transgenderism and the crazy social agenda and
- 2:18:25Speaker 2: all this kind of nonsense. I don't think for a
- 2:18:27Speaker 2: minute the Democrats are the answer. They created the problem.
- 2:18:30Speaker 2: Trump was solving it. Now we do have a pause
- 2:18:33Speaker 2: in it with this war situation, but I'll roll the
- 2:18:36Speaker 2: dice with Trump. Comments?
- 2:18:40Speaker 6: I'm actually in the state of New York today, and
- 2:18:42Speaker 6: I dropped into a state park this morning, and I
- 2:18:45Speaker 6: went past the door of a gift center, a little
- 2:18:49Speaker 6: shop they have at this state park. It's a government park.
- 2:18:53Speaker 6: The biggest thing on display on that door is a
- 2:18:55Speaker 6: trans flag.
- 2:18:56Speaker 7: Now, you're out in the woods with a bunch.
- 2:18:59Speaker 6: Of people that are just out to be outside. What
- 2:19:02Speaker 6: in the world would possess the government to put a
- 2:19:05Speaker 6: trans flag up on that door? Listen, I don't hate
- 2:19:08Speaker 6: trans people. I don't much care about trans people as
- 2:19:10Speaker 6: long as they're not near kids. You know, this idea
- 2:19:12Speaker 6: of having these kids join the gay pride parades and
- 2:19:14Speaker 6: do strip clubs, that's craziness. You know, the idea that
- 2:19:17Speaker 6: doctors do what they want to do to kids, that's...
- 2:19:20Speaker 6: Can't get a tattoo, but sure, we'll cut your genitals off. Nuts.
- 2:19:23Speaker 6: But why is it that when you're just out walking
- 2:19:25Speaker 6: around in New York, you have to be constantly confronted
- 2:19:28Speaker 6: with that kind of messaging on a government building? What
- 2:19:32Speaker 6: is it? Is it the sexuality shop? Should I have
- 2:19:34Speaker 6: gone in and said, hey, I'd like one straight flag,
- 2:19:37Speaker 6: one really confused flag, and a trans? I go around
- 2:19:42Speaker 6: the side of the building, and there's a little sticker
- 2:19:44Speaker 6: on the window that says, this is a.
- 2:19:46Speaker 7: Safe place, and it's got the rainbow thing going.
- 2:19:49Speaker 6: Are you telling me that people used to come here
- 2:19:50Speaker 6: to beat up gays? Is that what you're telling me?
- 2:19:53Speaker 6: You're implying that it wasn't safe before, that this nation
- 2:19:56Speaker 6: isn't safe, that somehow, you know, there are gay people
- 2:19:59Speaker 6: who think the Christian nationalists, as they call them, are
- 2:20:01Speaker 6: out hunting gay people.
- 2:20:03Speaker 4: They believe it.
- 2:20:04Speaker 6: So they are making these issues that aren't really issues
- 2:20:09Speaker 6: for the majority, the vast majority of American people, well
- 2:20:12Speaker 6: over 99%.
- 2:20:12Speaker 2: I'm running out of time. I just want to say
- 2:20:16Speaker 2: this to you before I leave. Have you ever seen
- 2:20:19Speaker 2: a movie, Deliverance?
- 2:20:21Speaker 3: I have.
- 2:20:22Speaker 2: Be very careful up there, okay?
- 2:20:24Speaker 6: My banjo hearing is finally attuned.
- 2:20:28Speaker 2: G2, thank you. It's always a pleasure and a joy.
- 2:20:31Speaker 2: Stay safe, my friends. All right, stay tuned. Sean Hannity
- 2:20:35Speaker 2: is coming up. And then the Guardians at 735.
