Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
• 0:03
Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. Up until recently, very few people were talking
• 0:08
Speaker 1: about Jeffrey Epstein and South America. But as of late,
• 0:13
Speaker 1: the conversation has picked up some steam and we're starting
• 0:16
Speaker 1: to learn a little bit more about what Epstein and
• 0:19
Speaker 1: his operation were up to down in South America. And
• 0:23
Speaker 1: I know we've talked about Peru, We've talked about Colombia,
• 0:26
Speaker 1: and we most certainly have talked about Brazil. But one
• 0:29
Speaker 1: place that we haven't talked about too much is Venezuela
• 0:32
Speaker 1: and how Jeffrey Epstein made inroads in Venezuela with the
• 0:36
Speaker 1: most powerful people in the whole country. And this is
• 0:39
Speaker 1: going to build on what we've been talking about down
• 0:41
Speaker 1: in South America and hopefully give us a little more context.
• 0:45
Speaker 1: So let's dive into this article from the Miami Herald
• 0:48
Speaker 1: and let's see what they have for us. Headline Oil
• 0:52
Speaker 1: in Venezuela, research in Cuba inside Epstein's ties to Latin America.
• 0:58
Speaker 1: This article was authored by Shersha Dasgupta, disgrace financier and
• 1:04
Speaker 1: registered sex offender. Jeffrey Epstein had numerous relationships with a
• 1:09
Speaker 1: rich and powerful across South America and the Caribbean, a
• 1:13
Speaker 1: Miami Herald investigation has found. And when we're talking about
• 1:17
Speaker 1: a story like this, it's not about what you know,
• 1:20
Speaker 1: it's about what you can prove. And we knew previously
• 1:23
Speaker 1: that Epstein was running around South America treating the whole
• 1:25
Speaker 1: continent like his own Bach and all room, but we
• 1:29
Speaker 1: didn't have the receipts to back it up. Well, those
• 1:32
Speaker 1: receipts are starting to pour in. And the people who
• 1:35
Speaker 1: tried to tell you that Jeffrey Epstein was a lone wolf,
• 1:38
Speaker 1: they're looking stupider by the day. When Venezuelan's strong men
• 1:43
Speaker 1: Hugo Schabez nationalized reports at Porto Cabello in two thousand
• 1:48
Speaker 1: and nine, Epstein advised the chief executive of the Dubai
• 1:52
Speaker 1: multinational that had operated it on how to navigate the situation. Yeah,
• 1:57
Speaker 1: you know, his buddies over the Middle East, the ones
• 2:00
Speaker 1: that he was so fond of and the ones that
• 2:02
Speaker 1: were so fond of him, Yeah, those guys. Epstein also
• 2:05
Speaker 1: discussed business ventures with Francisco di Agostino, an influential Venezuelan
• 2:10
Speaker 1: businessman who has relationships with both the Nicholas Maduro regime
• 2:15
Speaker 1: and the country's opposition. Di Agostino was under US sanction
• 2:19
Speaker 1: from twenty twenty one to twenty twenty five for brokering
• 2:22
Speaker 1: oil deals for the country Stay controlled energy company, and
• 2:26
Speaker 1: it just so happens that he is no longer sanctioned
• 2:29
Speaker 1: once Trump gets into office. Huh has Trump ever met
• 2:33
Speaker 1: a scumbag that he doesn't like? I mean, real question.
• 2:37
Speaker 1: Epstein and di Agostino also often discussed sexual exploits and
• 2:41
Speaker 1: exchange derogatory comments about women. Emails between them show. For instance,
• 2:46
Speaker 1: in an email correspondence in October twenty twelve, they described
• 2:51
Speaker 1: a woman as a financial bond that they could trade
• 2:54
Speaker 1: and split the commission. That was typical. That's what they
• 2:58
Speaker 1: think about people. That's what they think about you. You're
• 3:01
Speaker 1: a commodity, your chattel. You're worth nothing to them. And
• 3:05
Speaker 1: the funniest part is all these pundits that have taken
• 3:08
Speaker 1: up their cause trying to call this a hoax, et cetera.
• 3:11
Speaker 1: They mean nothing to them either. They're disposable and interchangeable.
• 3:16
Speaker 1: Everything is transactional for Trump, just like it was for Epstein.
• 3:21
Speaker 1: And the truth is, once you get to this level,
• 3:24
Speaker 1: everything is transactional for you. It's not like how you
• 3:28
Speaker 1: or I live. You don't do things out of the
• 3:30
Speaker 1: kindness of your heart. You don't, you know, help people
• 3:33
Speaker 1: out because you can. Once you get to a position
• 3:37
Speaker 1: like Jeffrey Epstein or Donald Trump, it's all about, Okay,
• 3:40
Speaker 1: if I do this for you, what can you do
• 3:42
Speaker 1: for me? And that's why power continues to insulate power
• 3:46
Speaker 1: in another missive. A few months later, di Agastino told Epstein,
• 3:50
Speaker 1: or asked Epstein about a young woman that he had
• 3:52
Speaker 1: met on the financiers private island the previous year. Epstein
• 3:57
Speaker 1: replied that she was here and naked, and speaking of that,
• 4:02
Speaker 1: not to go too off course here, but didn't just
• 4:05
Speaker 1: Staley admit to sleeping with one of Epstein's assistants, and
• 4:09
Speaker 1: I know he said it was consensual. But if one
• 4:11
Speaker 1: of those assistants was also being abused, as they claim,
• 4:15
Speaker 1: wouldn't that mean that Jeffrey Epstein trafficked a woman to
• 4:18
Speaker 1: Jess Staley? And wouldn't that blow the claims that Epstein
• 4:21
Speaker 1: never trafficked anybody to anybody right out of the water.
• 4:24
Speaker 1: Oh it does, doesn't it? Like I've been telling all
• 4:27
Speaker 1: these tourists from the very beginning, you're not wanted here,
• 4:31
Speaker 1: Kick Rocks. Head back to whatever stupid topic you were
• 4:33
Speaker 1: talking about before this became quote unquote popular, and let
• 4:38
Speaker 1: the adults continue the discussion, because there's way too many
• 4:41
Speaker 1: people who think they know who don't know. The Herald's
• 4:48
Speaker 1: reportings based on the millions of pages or records released
• 4:51
Speaker 1: earlier this year by the US Justice Department. The findings
• 4:55
Speaker 1: highlight how the financier was constantly cultivating relationships with inflo
• 5:00
Speaker 1: dential figures and using them to add to his fortunes. Well,
• 5:04
Speaker 1: I thought he was a lone wolf, just a regular guy,
• 5:07
Speaker 1: you know, who had a couple of disgusting proclivities, who
• 5:11
Speaker 1: wanted to pray on young girls. Oh what, he was
• 5:15
Speaker 1: something besides that, and that was just a perk of
• 5:17
Speaker 1: the job for him. Oh that's why the government protected him.
• 5:21
Speaker 1: I get it. Okay, So they let Jeffrey Epstein do
• 5:24
Speaker 1: what he wanted, just like they let Whitey Bulger kill
• 5:26
Speaker 1: whoever he wanted, as long as the means justified the ends. Folks.
• 5:33
Speaker 1: That's it. In a nutshell, this is not that confusing.
• 5:36
Speaker 1: This is not some great mystery. Jeffrey Epstein was created
• 5:40
Speaker 1: by the US government and then protected by the US
• 5:43
Speaker 1: government for years. That's it. That's the story. Die Gastino
• 5:49
Speaker 1: was introduced to Epstein by hedge fund manager Todd Measter
• 5:53
Speaker 1: in twenty twelve. Measter pitched Epstein on a project to acquire, develop,
• 5:58
Speaker 1: and operate up to one thousand in mega watts's solar
• 6:01
Speaker 1: energy plants in the Atacama Desert in Chile. An investment
• 6:05
Speaker 1: deck stated that upon completion, the venture projected revenue exceeding
• 6:09
Speaker 1: thirty million within a decade. How much do you want
• 6:12
Speaker 1: to bet that whatever that project was didn't benefit the
• 6:16
Speaker 1: people from Chile. Oh, I'm sure I benefited Epstein and
• 6:19
Speaker 1: his buddies, but certainly not the Chileans. Measter told The
• 6:23
Speaker 1: Herald that the venture did not come to fruition that
• 6:26
Speaker 1: he never had any business relationship with Epstein. He described
• 6:30
Speaker 1: the investment deck as a preliminary document that he had
• 6:33
Speaker 1: sent Epstein because the financier seemed to look at emerging
• 6:36
Speaker 1: markets and opportunities that were not mainstream. Sorry, mister Mester,
• 6:41
Speaker 1: we don't buy it. Everybody wants to act like they
• 6:44
Speaker 1: had no idea. You had all the ideas in the world.
• 6:47
Speaker 1: You didn't care, and the only reason you care now
• 6:50
Speaker 1: is because you're getting called out, and then of course
• 6:52
Speaker 1: we get the BS statement right, hardly knew the guy,
• 6:55
Speaker 1: never met him. Epstein's footprint in the Caribbean, The Herald
• 6:59
Speaker 1: found extended beyond Little Saint James's private island, where he
• 7:03
Speaker 1: allegedly raped and sexually assaulted countless women and girls. Not allegedly,
• 7:08
Speaker 1: it definitely happened. Now, if you want to talk about
• 7:11
Speaker 1: how many people were abused and just how vast and
• 7:14
Speaker 1: for how long the abuse went on, then that's certainly
• 7:18
Speaker 1: a discussion. But to act like it was alleged, like
• 7:22
Speaker 1: nobody ever was assaulted on that island, that is ridiculous.
• 7:27
Speaker 1: In two thousand and three, he traveled to Cuba and
• 7:30
Speaker 1: met the late Fidel Castro, and in twenty seventeen, Epstein
• 7:34
Speaker 1: helped fund to State back neuroscience conference in Havana. Well,
• 7:38
Speaker 1: communists have no problem with a guy like Epstein, just
• 7:41
Speaker 1: like capitalists don't. Folks, don't you get it yet, It
• 7:44
Speaker 1: doesn't matter what people say they are when it comes
• 7:47
Speaker 1: to powerful people, they're gonna do what powerful people do,
• 7:51
Speaker 1: and none of that shit includes you. So the next
• 7:54
Speaker 1: time you want to fight with somebody over one of
• 7:56
Speaker 1: these dumbass politicians. Just remember what they were saying about
• 7:59
Speaker 1: you in these emails. A conference in Havana In March
• 8:06
Speaker 1: two thousand and three, he traveled to the island nation
• 8:09
Speaker 1: with his accomplice and former partner Glenn Maxwell and the
• 8:12
Speaker 1: former President of Colombia Andres Pastrana Arongo. We met Fidel Castro.
• 8:19
Speaker 1: Maxwell told the Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche in an
• 8:22
Speaker 1: interview last year, Well, isn't that guy Hassan Piker, the
• 8:27
Speaker 1: streamer dude in trouble for going to Cuba? Should Maxwell
• 8:31
Speaker 1: getting out for the same thing? Was her trip approved?
• 8:34
Speaker 1: And if so, who approved it? And why? Boy? It's
• 8:38
Speaker 1: a tangle web wee weave, isn't it. The Herald did
• 8:42
Speaker 1: not find any evidence of Epstein discussing anything related to
• 8:45
Speaker 1: politics or business with the Cuban strongman. How would you
• 8:48
Speaker 1: know what? Somebody's going to come forward and be like, hey,
• 8:51
  Speaker 1: Epstein was talking about X, Y and Z. No, that's
• 8:54
Speaker 1: not how it works. Roughly fifteen years after that trip,
• 8:58
Speaker 1: Epstein's long held of financing a giant conference in Havana
• 9:02
Speaker 1: came true. He provided funds for the New Psycho Congress,
• 9:07
Speaker 1: a Cuban state backed international neuroscience conference in Havana in
• 9:12
Speaker 1: November of twenty seventeen. Epstein got involved via Hong Kong
• 9:16
Speaker 1: researcher Gino Yu, whose work into conscientiousness and special abilities
• 9:21
Speaker 1: he was already financing. What is this, little boys? Epstein
• 9:25
Speaker 1: and his buddies are trying to make a Homelander type
• 9:27
Speaker 1: of character. Would that really shock you? It wouldn't shock me.
• 9:31
Speaker 1: Nothing shocks me when it comes to the depravity of
• 9:33
Speaker 1: these disgusting people. But the financier Pedophile was unhappy with
• 9:39
Speaker 1: the results and complained that he was not getting proper
• 9:42
Speaker 1: reports and considered the endeavor a waste of his time
• 9:45
Speaker 1: and his money. I have yet to see one dollar
• 9:48
Speaker 1: of my Cuba project was spent, Not one dollar, not
• 9:52
Speaker 1: one paper, he wrote to the late British neurophysiologist Peter Fenwick,
• 9:56
Speaker 1: who was among the attendees. Fenwick assured him that it
• 10:00
Speaker 1: was a success conference excellent. Sandwich wrote back, many young
• 10:04
Speaker 1: Cubans with neuroscience posters and papers. Who was nice to
• 10:08
Speaker 1: encourage some senior Cuban scientists with remarkable discoveries. The Herald
• 10:14
Speaker 1: tried contacting you through Hong Kong Polytechnic University, where he
• 10:17
Speaker 1: currently teaches, but did not receive any response. The records
• 10:22
Speaker 1: suggest that was the last time Epstein funded any academic
• 10:26
Speaker 1: project in Cuba. Drug plane. Among the planes he was
• 10:31
Speaker 1: exploring buying was one belonging to South Aviation Incorporated, a
• 10:35
Speaker 1: Fort Lauderdale company owned by Argentine businessman Federico Machado. US
• 10:41
Speaker 1: federal prosecutors indicted Machado in twenty twenty one, charging him
• 10:45
Speaker 1: with conspiracy to commit cocaine trafficking, export violations, and wire fraud.
• 10:51
Speaker 1: Sounds like the exact kind of guy hanging out with Epstein.
• 10:54
Speaker 1: The indictment, detailing roughly three hundred and fifty million dollars
• 10:57
Speaker 1: in criminal activity, alleged that the South Aviation were part
• 11:01
Speaker 1: of his scheme to purchase and illegally register airplanes in
• 11:04
Speaker 1: the US. The jets would then be lent to organize
• 11:08
Speaker 1: crime syndicates across Latin America, which use them to transport
• 11:12
Speaker 1: cocaine destined for the US. The illicit proceeds were used
• 11:16
Speaker 1: to buy more planes. And remember the DEA investigation we
• 11:19
Speaker 1: were talking about that Epstein was part of. Could this
• 11:23
Speaker 1: have something to do with that? Very possible, Very very possible,
• 11:28
Speaker 1: because they still don't want to give us any information
• 11:30
Speaker 1: about the details of what was going on. And if
• 11:34
Speaker 1: it was some kind of operation going against cartels or whatever,
• 11:37
Speaker 1: then of course there's going to be operational secrecy. But
• 11:40
Speaker 1: if there was a case, then we should have some
• 11:42
Speaker 1: core paperwork, right, we should have some kind of paper trail.
• 11:47
Speaker 1: So I still have some questions about what was going
• 11:50
Speaker 1: on with that DEA investigation and what the hell Epstein
• 11:53
Speaker 1: was doing as part of it. Whether the jet Epstein
• 11:56
Speaker 1: was interested in was also used in illicit activity is unclear.
• 12:00
Speaker 1: Epstein ultimately decided not to proceed with the purchase. Machado,
• 12:04
Speaker 1: who was extradited by the US from Argentina late last year,
• 12:07
Speaker 1: is now in federal custody and awaiting trial. He faces
• 12:11
Speaker 1: up to life in prison. The Herald reached out to
• 12:14
Speaker 1: Machado for comment VIA's attorneys in the US, but did
• 12:17
Speaker 1: not receive any response. And look, this report really is
• 12:21
Speaker 1: just building out on what we know, and it's adding
• 12:23
Speaker 1: some pieces to what we already suspected. And the fact
• 12:28
Speaker 1: that Jeffrey Epstein was very active in South America financially
• 12:33
Speaker 1: is something that would have been easily traced by the
• 12:36
Speaker 1: United States government if they would have cared, but as
• 12:40
Speaker 1: we all know, they didn't care. And the whole entire
• 12:43
Speaker 1: quote unquote investigation was built to fill from the very beginning.
• 12:47
Speaker 1: And when you go back and you look at the
• 12:49
Speaker 1: evidence and you look at what was going on in
• 12:51
Speaker 1: real time, it's rather obvious that the fix was in
• 12:54
Speaker 1: and that Jeffrey Epstein was being protected by somebody or
• 12:58
Speaker 1: somebodies in the government. All right, folks, we're gonna wrap
• 13:02
Speaker 1: up episode one right here, and in the next episode
• 13:05
Speaker 1: we're gonna pick up where we left off and finish
• 13:07
Speaker 1: this bad boy up. All the information that goes with
• 13:10
Speaker 1: this episode can be found in the description box.
