- 0:08Speaker 1: Schedule advice for sure. Bice, It's time nice Hello and
- 0:13Speaker 1: no lover no and lother loa love Loo. Welcome to
- 0:15Speaker 1: the naughty but Nice Sham your House, drom Shooter. It
- 0:18Speaker 1: is Monday morning. I'm doing TV very early today to
- 0:21Speaker 1: talk about the Grammy Awards and lots of the delicious gossip.
- 0:25Speaker 1: But you get it first here on the podcast, So
- 0:27Speaker 1: Garrett is not with us. It is not Garrett's fault,
- 0:29Speaker 1: though I should point out I messed up the schedule
- 0:32Speaker 1: today by doing so much TV, so we're up super
- 0:35Speaker 1: early recording this so you can listen to it all
- 0:38Speaker 1: day long. You know, I hate to miss a show.
- 0:41Speaker 1: I never do. I try so hard not to do it.
- 0:43Speaker 1: In the early days, when I had to do the
- 0:45Speaker 1: show by myself, if somebody called in sick or couldn't
- 0:47Speaker 1: make it, I used to get really nervous. I didn't
- 0:50Speaker 1: think I'd got enough to say to talk about for
- 0:53Speaker 1: twenty minutes. I know, do I have enough to say?
- 0:57Speaker 1: Talking is something I love to do and I love
- 1:01Speaker 1: doing it with you. Nought ease, you're the co host day.
- 1:04Speaker 1: Let's jump into the show. Her time is it? My
- 1:07Speaker 1: friends in his Tea Time? Really big story broke over
- 1:12Speaker 1: the weekend and friends were blindsided by Katherine O'Hara's secret
- 1:18Speaker 1: illness and her final days. So Hollywood has been left
- 1:22Speaker 1: reeling after the sudden death of beloved comedy icon. She
- 1:27Speaker 1: was beloved Katherine O'Hara. Even her closest friends had no
- 1:32Speaker 1: idea that she was seriously ill. Let me explain. So Catherine,
- 1:37Speaker 1: who was seventy one years old, too young, died Friday.
- 1:41Speaker 1: Was rushed to hospital from her Brentwood home, a beautiful
- 1:44Speaker 1: home in California, and she died at the hospital. Just heartbreaking. Now,
- 1:51Speaker 1: her team did confirm that she had a quote brief illness.
- 1:56Speaker 1: According to sources, she and her husband Bea, a good, good,
- 1:59Speaker 1: good guy works in the film business too behind the camera,
- 2:03Speaker 1: kept the severity of her condition tightly guarded, leaving peals
- 2:09Speaker 1: in complete shock. When the news broke. They had no
- 2:12Speaker 1: idea this was going to break. They rushed her to
- 2:15Speaker 1: the hospital in the morning after a nine one one
- 2:18Speaker 1: call reported difficulties breathing. She couldn't breathe. The cause of
- 2:22Speaker 1: death has still not been revealed. We'll let you know
- 2:27Speaker 1: once we know that. So, just eight days earlier, there
- 2:30Speaker 1: was hints of problems because she pulled out her filming.
- 2:33Speaker 1: Now that she never ever did. She was known in
- 2:36Speaker 1: the business to always be on time, always be professional,
- 2:40Speaker 1: never to cancel. We also had some hints, there were
- 2:42Speaker 1: some gossips, some rumors that just a few weeks before
- 2:47Speaker 1: she didn't turn up at the Golden Globes. She loved
- 2:50Speaker 1: award shows, she loved Hollywood. One of her friends told
- 2:53Speaker 1: me she felt so lucky to still be working at
- 2:56Speaker 1: seventy one and to be nominated for a Golden Globe nominated.
- 3:00Speaker 1: She was thrilled about that, but she didn't turn up
- 3:03Speaker 1: for the nomination. So that's when I started to hear buzz, rumors, whispers,
- 3:08Speaker 1: what's wrong with Catherine. Well, we all knew there were
- 3:11Speaker 1: a few medical issues. The latest photographs of her from September.
- 3:15Speaker 1: She attended an Apple Plus party in September and Emmy party.
- 3:21Speaker 1: She looks very frail, she looks very thin. At the time,
- 3:24Speaker 1: I just feared she was on ozempic, which is really
- 3:27Speaker 1: really rife in Hollywood, one of those Hollywood Sharon Osborne
- 3:30Speaker 1: type faces. And I thought, oh no, Catherine, I should
- 3:34Speaker 1: have known better. Of course, Katherine O'Hara wouldn't do that
- 3:37Speaker 1: she's way, way, way, way way to call for that nonsense,
- 3:43Speaker 1: and so she was sick, but they did keep it
- 3:46Speaker 1: a secret. I'm told that there will be a private
- 3:49Speaker 1: celebration of her life in a couple of weeks, and
- 3:53Speaker 1: the outpouring from Hollywood has been overwhelming. I interviewed her
- 3:56Speaker 1: a few times. Really cool, really smart, really nice. Who
- 4:00Speaker 1: you got on screen was who you got off screen?
- 4:02Speaker 1: Smart too, just terribly terribly smart. You can't be a
- 4:05Speaker 1: great comedian unless you are really really smart, and that
- 4:08Speaker 1: she certainly certainly was. It is hard breaking, It is shocking,
- 4:14Speaker 1: I think because we did not know. That's what made
- 4:17Speaker 1: this even more surprising. We heard rumors of celebrity illness
- 4:22Speaker 1: long before we even report it. I know which celebrities
- 4:25Speaker 1: are not doing very well, and sometimes we choose, quite often,
- 4:28Speaker 1: we choose not to go down that road. With Catherine,
- 4:30Speaker 1: I did not know. I'd heard whispers two three weeks
- 4:33Speaker 1: ago when she did not turn up for the Golden Globes.
- 4:36Speaker 1: There were a lot of whispers. She loved Hollywood, she
- 4:38Speaker 1: loved putting on the go, and she loved going out.
- 4:40Speaker 1: She never took it for granted, she didn't didn't ever
- 4:44Speaker 1: get jaded or bored with it. She felt like the
- 4:47Speaker 1: luckiest person in the world from Canada to be now
- 4:51Speaker 1: famous and funny and respected. She loved it. And to
- 4:54Speaker 1: be nominated. She wasn't there as a guest. There's a
- 4:58Speaker 1: plus one. She was nominated and she still didn't go.
- 5:01Speaker 1: So there were a few hints then, as I said,
- 5:03Speaker 1: we do not know the cause of death yet we will.
- 5:06Speaker 1: There's going to be a really small, intimate, private ceremony
- 5:10Speaker 1: for family and close friends. But just absolutely heartbreaking. That
- 5:15Speaker 1: one really hit me hard. Moira Rose from Shits Creak
- 5:19Speaker 1: in so many other amazing, amazing films projects, Beetlejuice, Amazing,
- 5:25Speaker 1: Home Alone. She'll always be the mom in Home Alone.
- 5:29Speaker 1: Later on in the show, We've got Macauley Culkins response.
- 5:31Speaker 1: It's absolutely touching and heartbreaking. Also to she made some
- 5:36Speaker 1: of the funniest, funniest movies, some best in show, A
- 5:41Speaker 1: Mighty Wind and Shit's Creak. Hey, Catherine, rest in peace.
- 5:47Speaker 1: There is no poll today. We never do a poll,
- 5:50Speaker 1: and we're touching on such a really important, such a
- 5:53Speaker 1: really touching, touching, moving moving story. Rest in peace, Okay,
- 5:57Speaker 1: moving along. The original Housewives of New New York City
- 6:01Speaker 1: Oh yes, a ditching Bravo. They're going to ditch Bravo
- 6:04Speaker 1: and defect. I love that word. It sounds so cold War,
- 6:08Speaker 1: doesn't it. Were defecting from Russia. They're going to defect
- 6:11Speaker 1: to Arrival Network. So the original queens of the Real
- 6:15Speaker 1: Housewives of New York City have officially packed up their
- 6:18Speaker 1: bags and their pino, and Bravo has not invited them back.
- 6:22Speaker 1: So sources say that Luan de Lesseps, the Countess, Sonia Morgan,
- 6:26Speaker 1: Jill Saren, Kelly Bensimone, who was not one of the originals,
- 6:29Speaker 1: she joined a few seasons later, Ada Ramuna Singer have
- 6:33Speaker 1: all signed a deal with e for a brand new
- 6:35Speaker 1: show that airs later this year. The move comes after
- 6:39Speaker 1: failed talks with Bravo in twenty twenty three when Money
- 6:42Speaker 1: torpedo the plans for a legacy revival. They were going
- 6:45Speaker 1: to do a revival of all the originals. They just couldn't.
- 6:48Speaker 1: They couldn't get to the degree on money. They couldn't
- 6:50Speaker 1: great degree and what they wanted to be paid. These
- 6:52Speaker 1: ladies were paid so so so much money to do this.
- 6:56Speaker 1: In the end of their contracts before they were all fired,
- 6:59Speaker 1: they were earning three four hundred thousand dollars a season.
- 7:02Speaker 1: They started I think with just seventeen or maybe it
- 7:05Speaker 1: was seven thousand, and so a massive increase. But the
- 7:08Speaker 1: show exploded, the housewife franchise exploded, and then the viewers
- 7:11Speaker 1: just started to fall away. They didn't get fired because
- 7:15Speaker 1: of bad behavior, although it could be argued after Luan
- 7:17Speaker 1: was arrested and Ramon as alleged racist remarks, they should
- 7:21Speaker 1: have been fired. But they were all fired because the
- 7:24Speaker 1: numbers were falling apart. People were just not watching the
- 7:29Speaker 1: show anymore. So they really tried to Bambooze or Bravo
- 7:32Speaker 1: into giving them their original money, and Barravo said no,
- 7:35Speaker 1: They wanted to do a legacy show. But it's all
- 7:37Speaker 1: about money show business TV. It's called a business. It
- 7:40Speaker 1: really is show business, and the money just wasn't there.
- 7:43Speaker 1: So now what makes this so interesting is that e
- 7:47Speaker 1: it used to be under the same corporate umbrella as Bravo.
- 7:50Speaker 1: They used to be owned by the same company. Now
- 7:52Speaker 1: they're not. It's a direct competitor. One insider summed it
- 7:55Speaker 1: up and said, quote, this cast was real Housewives of
- 7:59Speaker 1: New York. The audience never stopped wanting them, and brathers
- 8:04Speaker 1: Golden Girls have now become their biggest problem. I don't
- 8:06Speaker 1: think I'd go that far. I think the show will
- 8:09Speaker 1: do fine on me. I don't think it's going to
- 8:11Speaker 1: do amazing. I think the Housewives are overrear she it's
- 8:14Speaker 1: not at the peak anymore. It's definitely on the downward spiral.
- 8:17Speaker 1: They're not going to replace the Kardashians on me. This
- 8:20Speaker 1: is what's really interesting. He used to be quite a
- 8:22Speaker 1: young network, The Hills, the Kardashians, Jessicas Simpson's Newlyweds. They
- 8:29Speaker 1: really did focus on the younger demographic, having these ladies
- 8:32Speaker 1: in their sixties, which is fantastic. Come to Ease is
- 8:35Speaker 1: a new chapter for e I'm told they're earning a
- 8:38Speaker 1: lot less money. One of the original people, Alex and Bethany,
- 8:42Speaker 1: two the two that were in the very original cast,
- 8:45Speaker 1: they're not coming back. Bethany pretends that she wants nothing
- 8:48Speaker 1: to do with the Housewives anymore, but she's already issued
- 8:50Speaker 1: a statement. Of course she has, and she's given them
- 8:54Speaker 1: her blessing like they needed it. So Bethany has blessed
- 8:58Speaker 1: this Queen Bethany ridiculous. Alex was in town last week.
- 9:01Speaker 1: I was meant to see her on Thursday, but I
- 9:04Speaker 1: was working Grammy stuff, so Alex was back in New York.
- 9:07Speaker 1: I think she's back in Australia now. But I'm for this.
- 9:10Speaker 1: I think the problem is is when you when you
- 9:13Speaker 1: try to recreate something, when you try to capture lightning
- 9:16Speaker 1: in the bottle the second time, it never really works,
- 9:19Speaker 1: does it. Then when Rossiodonald tried to reboot her talk show,
- 9:22Speaker 1: it just didn't really work in Chicago. Even Will and
- 9:25Speaker 1: Grace the reboot I wanted it to be fantastic, didn't
- 9:28Speaker 1: really work. And so a reboot of a reality show
- 9:31Speaker 1: that I stopped watching ten years ago, I just don't know.
- 9:35Speaker 1: I wish them well. I'm happy for the ladies. I'm
- 9:37Speaker 1: happy they figured out a price. It's much much cheaper,
- 9:40Speaker 1: so that gives them a shot. If they were all
- 9:42Speaker 1: earning three four hundred thousand dollars, still this show would
- 9:44Speaker 1: last a week because they can't possibly earn those that
- 9:47Speaker 1: money back in advertisements. He is a small channel now
- 9:51Speaker 1: they're looking for a new identity. Maybe it can be
- 9:54Speaker 1: the Real Housewives cast off. It is interesting though that
- 9:57Speaker 1: he is no longer associated with brav I back to
- 10:00Speaker 1: my Brother Insiders, and they're fine with this. They're not worried.
- 10:03Speaker 1: They felt for one minute that they could pull off
- 10:05Speaker 1: a hit show with the original ladies. Before the right price,
- 10:08Speaker 1: they do it themselves. They passed on this, so it's
- 10:10Speaker 1: perfectly fine here. No one's cheating, no one's going behind
- 10:13Speaker 1: someone's back. This is the deal didn't work out. It
- 10:16Speaker 1: just didn't work out with Bravo. They're really smart business
- 10:19Speaker 1: people at Bravo. They know when to cut their losses,
- 10:21Speaker 1: they know when to walk away. And so they're like,
- 10:24Speaker 1: if he thinks they can make money from it, and
- 10:25Speaker 1: that's the only reason they're doing it. They're not going
- 10:27Speaker 1: to win an Emmy. It's not for art, it's not
- 10:29Speaker 1: for artistic expression. It's not to win awards. It's just
- 10:33Speaker 1: the cash cow, isn't it. They want lots and lots
- 10:35Speaker 1: of people to watch and make lots and lots of money.
- 10:37Speaker 1: Good look to them. I'm just not quite convinced. What
- 10:40Speaker 1: do you think? Okay? Moving along, Kanye West's daughter took
- 10:44Speaker 1: the stage with him Northwest, just twelve years old, as
- 10:47Speaker 1: a surprise at his concert, so he shocked fans in
- 10:50Speaker 1: Mexico City, where I'm still stunned. In Mexico City, Kanye
- 10:54Speaker 1: sold out a forty thousand person arena Massive. He was
- 10:59Speaker 1: on stage and his guest surprise star was his daughter Northwest.
- 11:04Speaker 1: So she got on stage only twelve years old, wearing
- 11:07Speaker 1: her signature blue hair and her oversize black uniform outfit. Together,
- 11:12Speaker 1: they performed a duet, instantly sending social media into a frenzy.
- 11:17Speaker 1: Video I've seen showed them seeming Kim is really really
- 11:21Speaker 1: singing together. He was really beaming, He had a huge
- 11:23Speaker 1: smile on his side. She was great, really confident, really
- 11:26Speaker 1: had stage presence, just twelve years old. She later teased
- 11:29Speaker 1: it on her own Instagram. I'm told Tim is perfectly
- 11:32Speaker 1: fine with this. She knows that North's passion is not
- 11:34Speaker 1: what Kim does. She doesn't want to do reality or fashion. No, no, no,
- 11:37Speaker 1: she wants to do music. She loves music. Having her dad, though,
- 11:40Speaker 1: is complicated because he is such a controversial figure. He
- 11:44Speaker 1: said such awful, disgusting things about so many different people.
- 11:48Speaker 1: I'm not sure being with him is a good look.
- 11:50Speaker 1: But playing to forty thousand people when you're twelve years old,
- 11:53Speaker 1: who's going to turn down that opportunity? And so Kim
- 11:57Speaker 1: is treading very carefully here. She doesn't want no associated
- 12:01Speaker 1: with all the bad things her father has said, and
- 12:03Speaker 1: they have been a lot. It's amazing to me that
- 12:06Speaker 1: he has not been canceled. There seems to have been
- 12:09Speaker 1: very little consequence of how terrible, terrible the anti Semitic
- 12:14Speaker 1: things he said alone, just awful, awful, awful person. But
- 12:18Speaker 1: it is her dad, and in the music business he
- 12:20Speaker 1: can still sell out these massive venues. And who's going
- 12:23Speaker 1: to write songs with north if not her dad? And
- 12:26Speaker 1: so maybe this is going to be a springboard to success.
- 12:29Speaker 1: It's hard springing from somebody that controversial, but she looked
- 12:33Speaker 1: like a natural expectancy a lot more of Northwest, not
- 12:37Speaker 1: dressing up in fashion like her mom, or not trying
- 12:41Speaker 1: to sell stuff on Instagram or do reality shows. She
- 12:44Speaker 1: wants to be a singer, and I think she's got
- 12:47Speaker 1: a really good shot. Okay, this story made me happy.
- 12:50Speaker 1: So Kylie Jenna and Travis Scott, they're no longer together,
- 12:52Speaker 1: but they have reunited for the birthday party for Stormy
- 12:56Speaker 1: and air Air Webster, who turns its four years old.
- 13:01Speaker 1: Stormy turns seven. So even though Kylie Jenner is very
- 13:04Speaker 1: very happy with Timothy Shallomey, who looks like he's gonna
- 13:06Speaker 1: win an oscar a few weeks, I know, not so
- 13:09Speaker 1: long away. They do share children together, Travis and Kylie.
- 13:13Speaker 1: They have a good relationship. They shared videos together of
- 13:16Speaker 1: them singing Happy Birthday and they were smiling. It was
- 13:19Speaker 1: a really lovely moment over the top bash, a dessert
- 13:22Speaker 1: theme complete with mountains and palm trees and carnival vises,
- 13:26Speaker 1: roller coasters, all fabulous inflatable toys, lots of signs that
- 13:31Speaker 1: read their names, and they had a lovely time together.
- 13:34Speaker 1: They co parent beautifully, beautifully together, and their focus is
- 13:38Speaker 1: on the real thing, the only thing that really matters,
- 13:41Speaker 1: making their kids have a fabulous, unforgettable birthday weekend. We
- 13:46Speaker 1: did not see Timothy there, so when dad's around, Timothy
- 13:50Speaker 1: not so much. But they balance all this. Timothy has
- 13:53Speaker 1: met the kids. I'm told he gets along with both
- 13:56Speaker 1: of them seven and four. That's not easy. He's not
- 13:58Speaker 1: their stepdad. He does, he's not called daddy. Their dad
- 14:02Speaker 1: is one hundred percent Travis, and he's still very very
- 14:05Speaker 1: very much in their lives. Oh that's a nice story. Okay, quickly,
- 14:09Speaker 1: before we get a break, Taylor Swift is unbothered by
- 14:12Speaker 1: the Blake Lively lawsuit and it has been dragging her
- 14:15Speaker 1: name through the MUDs a despite being named checked several
- 14:18Speaker 1: times last week in court documents. Taylor Swift is keeping
- 14:22Speaker 1: a distance from Blake Lively's legal bats and battles, and
- 14:25Speaker 1: she's focusing on her own happiness. So sources say the
- 14:28Speaker 1: pop star is superstar. Let's say that again. The pop
- 14:31Speaker 1: superstar she Taylor Swift believes this lawsuit doesn't involve her.
- 14:36Speaker 1: She totally believes that, and she's not going to engage,
- 14:39Speaker 1: even though her private texts between Taylor and Blake have
- 14:42Speaker 1: been unsealed. The messages that serviced amid the sexual harassment
- 14:47Speaker 1: and retaliation suit against her co star and director Justin Baldoni,
- 14:52Speaker 1: he we should point out to denies all allegations. So
- 14:56Speaker 1: these messages have circumsised and they're embarrassing. That text showed
- 15:00Speaker 1: Taylor authoring enthisiastic support during script disputes, and insiders say
- 15:06Speaker 1: that the fallout has caused a noticeable different split between
- 15:11Speaker 1: these two. What's going on here is Taylor doesn't want
- 15:14Speaker 1: to get involved in this. Yes, she texted her friend. Yes,
- 15:17Speaker 1: she tried to be supportive. In fact, if anything. These
- 15:20Speaker 1: text just proved Taylor's a really, really good friend. Is
- 15:24Speaker 1: she more involved than what she said initially or a
- 15:27Speaker 1: team said in appears like that. She she definitely talked
- 15:29Speaker 1: about it. She talked about the script. She called him
- 15:32Speaker 1: the B word, bitch. She claimed he was playing a
- 15:35Speaker 1: little violin, which is claiming he is a martyr. So
- 15:38Speaker 1: a little bit more involved than no involvement. But still
- 15:42Speaker 1: she was not involved on the day to day. This
- 15:44Speaker 1: is not a project. She was just talking to a friend.
- 15:46Speaker 1: We talk to our friends all the time about our jobs.
- 15:48Speaker 1: Think how many times you made a friend for a
- 15:50Speaker 1: drink and your own plane, or you have lovely things
- 15:53Speaker 1: to say about where you work. I think that's what
- 15:55Speaker 1: this is. Taylor is absolutely confident that she will not
- 15:59Speaker 1: be dragged into this the lawsuit anymore. Yes, she's been
- 16:02Speaker 1: a little bit embarrassed. These were private text She's a
- 16:05Speaker 1: very private person. But there will be no legal implications
- 16:09Speaker 1: for Taylor Swift. Okay, we're going to take a quick
- 16:11Speaker 1: break and we will be right back. Welcome back to
- 16:14Speaker 1: the Naughty but Nae Shammy host Rob Shooter. Hey, let's
- 16:17Speaker 1: get to the polls. DA last show, we talked about
- 16:20Speaker 1: this New tell All book on Matt Lower really killing
- 16:23Speaker 1: any hopes he had of a TV comeback. A few
- 16:25Speaker 1: weeks ago, a few months ago, there were stories that
- 16:27Speaker 1: Matt wanted to come back. I said at the time,
- 16:29Speaker 1: of course he does, Yes, he does, but nobody wants him.
- 16:31Speaker 1: There's no outlet that wants Matt Lower. After the book,
- 16:34Speaker 1: they are even less outlets that want Matt Lower. Our
- 16:37Speaker 1: question was, will Matt ever return to TV? Could you
- 16:40Speaker 1: see Matt returning to TV, particularly after this bombshell book.
- 16:44Speaker 1: Let's have a look. Ninety percent it's a landslide, said
- 16:46Speaker 1: absolutely not. He will not return to TV. Maybe YouTube
- 16:50Speaker 1: or TikTok or independent stuff. Now. I don't see Matt
- 16:53Speaker 1: Lawer doing that, but he won't be on regular TV.
- 16:57Speaker 1: I agree. Hey, don't forget to vote. Go to a
- 17:01Speaker 1: Twitter page a naughty nine Rob and naughty gorzimp. I'm
- 17:05Speaker 1: sure to check back tomorrow to hear your results. And now,
- 17:08Speaker 1: oh it's time for the nicest of the day. Oh,
- 17:12Speaker 1: and nicest of the day. This is so so touching.
- 17:17Speaker 1: It really really made me feel something. Mccaullay culkin a heartbreaking,
- 17:22Speaker 1: a heartbreaking statement about Katherine O'Hara, so Hollywood. The heartbreak
- 17:28Speaker 1: is pouring in from really everybody. She was a be
- 17:31Speaker 1: loved actress, but our home Alone family are leading the tributes.
- 17:36Speaker 1: McCauley Culkin, who played her Unseen Screens son Kevin, We'll
- 17:40Speaker 1: never forget that. She had a good, wrenching message. He read,
- 17:43Speaker 1: quote Mama, I thought we had time. I love you,
- 17:48Speaker 1: I'll see you later. Now. The pair did remain close
- 17:52Speaker 1: even after the film ended, often calling each other family.
- 17:57Speaker 1: Katherine was just seventy one and leaves behind and endure
- 18:00Speaker 1: legacy and a Hollywood family forever grateful for her warmth,
- 18:04Speaker 1: her humor, and her heart. Oh let's say that one
- 18:07Speaker 1: more time. Quote momma, I thought we had enough time.
- 18:11Speaker 1: There's something to be learned from that. Never take it
- 18:13Speaker 1: for granted. You'd just never ever know. And now I
- 18:16Speaker 1: noticed the day. Naughty, naughty, naughty it is Matt Laua.
- 18:19Speaker 1: So Brook Neville has a book coming out this week
- 18:23Speaker 1: about her time with Matt and what he allegedly did
- 18:27Speaker 1: to her. Matt's people claimed that relationship was consensual. Well,
- 18:31Speaker 1: now Brook is saying that the power and balance made
- 18:35Speaker 1: true consent impossible. She said quote, consent and agreement are
- 18:40Speaker 1: not synonymous. When one person has power over the other,
- 18:44Speaker 1: it's not consent, it's submission. Brook first accused Matt Lower
- 18:49Speaker 1: in twenty seventeen of anally raping her during the twenty
- 18:53Speaker 1: fourteen Winter Olympics, in social allegations that led to his
- 18:59Speaker 1: swift firing from the Today Show. Laura has repeatedly denied
- 19:02Speaker 1: any wrongdoings, calling their encounters consensual. She is having none
- 19:09Speaker 1: of it. Upcoming memoir, Unspeakable Things, is out soon. Okay,
- 19:14Speaker 1: let's end with a moment of rob. You rob, you
- 19:16Speaker 1: get a roub, you get a rob. Accept it, not
- 19:19Speaker 1: because it's air, because it's real. Fight in reality only
- 19:23Speaker 1: keeps you stuck. Name what happened, Feel it fully, don't
- 19:27Speaker 1: skip it, don't be numb to it. Feel it, then
- 19:31Speaker 1: decide this is where it ends, not tomorrow now, after
- 19:36Speaker 1: one more replay in your head. Now, letting go isn't
- 19:40Speaker 1: pretending that it doesn't matter. Oh No, it's choosing not
- 19:44Speaker 1: to carry it forward. You don't need closure from anybody else.
- 19:50Speaker 1: You give it to yourself. Take the lesson, leave the weight,
- 19:55Speaker 1: and make space for what's next. This is how you
- 19:58Speaker 1: move on with purpose and strength, without apology. Once again,
- 20:03Speaker 1: accept it I know it's not fair, but it is
- 20:07Speaker 1: real and if you keep fighting it over and over
- 20:10Speaker 1: in your head, you will never ever move forward. Hey,
- 20:14Speaker 1: that is it for today. Thank you so much for
- 20:17Speaker 1: listening to the Naughty, Be Nice with Rob and then
- 20:19Speaker 1: nor t Shirt. You're the co host to day. We're
- 20:21Speaker 1: a production of iHeartRadio and Avias Duran. Don't forget to
- 20:24Speaker 1: follow me on substack, robshooter dot substack dot com and
- 20:27Speaker 1: my upcoming book, It Started with a Whisper, is now
- 20:30Speaker 1: available for pre orders on Amazon. Let's end with that tagline. Everybody, remember,
- 20:37Speaker 1: if you're going to be naughty, you've got to be
- 20:40Speaker 1: let me hear you. It's a marvelous. Please take care
- 20:45Speaker 1: of everybody. But nice with Rah
