A trailblazer in public health and social work, she earned degrees from Bennett College, Wayne State University, and the University of Pittsburgh. Loved deeply by her family — including her siblings Ernest and Deborah, niece Dawna, and grandnephews Diego and Dorian — she leaves behind a legacy of intellect and compassion.
