SPEAKER_09: But I I think as far as you know what we have lined up after that, you know, it's not gonna be easy, but I I certainly believe Tech is capable of beating, you know, uh if Arkansas is to get past Colgate, beating Arkansas, and then um, you know, I think we match up all right with Ohio State.

SPEAKER_07: I was I was thinking when I was watching the selection show, I was going down and they announced Baylor, and then they announced I think the a few more teams, and I was like, okay, uh, they announced Villanova, who was a five who was the five seed.

SPEAKER_07: And I was like, okay, we're gonna be in the final one uh with Michigan or Illinois, with and and then they announced us as a sixth seed, and I was like, oh shit, we got Baylor.

SPEAKER_07: But you know, I mean, I it's uh overall our draw is not too bad.

SPEAKER_07: I think when you're looking at like the two and the three seed in Ohio State and Arkansas, respectively, I think Arkansas is probably the worst of the three seeds, in my opinion.

SPEAKER_07: I mean, uh Texas, Kansas, West Virginia, and then Arkansas.

SPEAKER_04: This guy's an issue, and like especially whenever we talk about big men, and we're very scared of the big men, it's just like the the issues pile up.

SPEAKER_09: Yeah, he's gonna be a problem, and I I honestly expect um you know uh Santa Silva to be in his back and and uh us help you know when he does post up, helping down.

SPEAKER_09: Luckily for us, what I've uh been able to do from from my research on this game, because like y'all, you know, I didn't I wasn't watching the uh Utah State Aggies play that much this year.

SPEAKER_09: But from what I've been able to gather, you know, they they move the ball well, but they're not necessarily a great three-point shooting team.

SPEAKER_09: They're not I mean, they're not I would I I wouldn't say they're awful, but they're just not that effective.

SPEAKER_07: They have a couple guys, they have a couple guys that can shoot the ball, but that's I mean, yeah, like you said, maybe two guys that that are pretty solid three-point shooters.

SPEAKER_09: Yeah, it looks like you know, in their last uh I saw something that was saying in their last um six games, they in five of them, they didn't uh shoot over, I think uh couldn't shoot at or better than 40% from three in five yeah, five of their last six.

SPEAKER_09: So I I would expect us to be helping a lot, you know, doubling down on this big and uh having them kick out.

SPEAKER_09: And I know rotation, you know, at times has been a bit of an issue, but I'm hoping that was against superior Big 12 talent and that they can get out, cover these shooters, and uh, you know, make them make tough shots.

SPEAKER_07: Yeah, and I think the difference is in like maybe a West Virginia or a Texas, Texas has Matt Coleman, Andrew Jones, and you know, everybody else can shoot threes.

SPEAKER_07: So he's he's a guy who's just gonna stay around the perimeter coming off screens, doing that sort of deal.

SPEAKER_04: Um, so it what's what's really scaring me and what's been so for like frustrating with our team is these guys are really, really, really good at rebounding the ball.

SPEAKER_04: So it's it's that scares me a bit because we we struggle to get a lot of defense uh rebounds we absolutely should have, you know, because it just uh that that's one of the things that really pops out to me when it comes to their defense.

SPEAKER_07: So I I again I guess it's just gonna be kind of like we're we may have to concede some ground to the big, but yeah, and and the thing I noticed when I was watching Keda, because I probably just watched just him for a while, seeing what he does and everything.

SPEAKER_07: I mean, every shot that's around the rim, he's going to try to block it.

SPEAKER_07: So the thing how we can exploit that is you know, somebody, Mac or whoever's driving at the time, it's it's gonna be tough getting that ball over him, but once that ball's over him, it's probably gonna be a miss.

SPEAKER_07: So Marcus has to be there, McCullough has to be there, P has to be there to get the offensive rebound to get that easy tip in when that layup is ultimately missed because you have a seven-foot massive individual coming at you at 100 miles an hour.
