- 1:10Speaker 3: Five Wists talking basketball and they all wear a whist So, yeah,
- 1:14Speaker 3: it's too bad, but what did you expect.
- 1:17Speaker 5: It's a podcast called twenty five whistline.
- 1:22Speaker 1: Welcome to the show. Both the waist So thank you.
- 1:25Speaker 1: I didn't feel like you was gonna win. I felt
- 1:28Speaker 1: like EA was gonna win. Sorry, I said that they're
- 1:30Speaker 1: not the favorite.
- 1:31Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, they did win, and they they got I
- 1:34Speaker 3: mean they murdered them. Yeah, Illinois never really had it.
- 1:37Speaker 1: No, you're thinking of the wrong game.
- 1:40Speaker 3: I mean Illinois never Oh you're talking about women's.
- 1:44Speaker 1: No, Illinois never really had a chance to cheer.
- 1:46Speaker 4: I agree with that.
- 1:47Speaker 3: I'm saying.
- 1:48Speaker 1: Yeah, I was watching some of those of those games,
- 1:50Speaker 1: were like, I agree, but they're bad games. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:52Speaker 1: both games kind of sucks. I was surprised the Michigan
- 1:55Speaker 1: in Arizona game was as bad as it was bad. Yeah,
- 1:58Speaker 1: imagine you flew all the way out there from Arizona
- 2:01Speaker 1: to see that. Yeah, you've ever gone to a really
- 2:03Speaker 1: far game and then got blown out? I have many domes.
- 2:06Speaker 1: Being an Arkansas fan, It's happened many times. It sucks.
- 2:09Speaker 1: It's the worst because you just want to go home
- 2:10Speaker 1: and you can't get home. Yeah.
- 2:12Speaker 6: I went to opening game Patriots off a super Bowl win,
- 2:16Speaker 6: and they played the Chiefs and this is the when
- 2:18Speaker 6: they I don't even think they had my homes then,
- 2:20Speaker 6: and they lost about like twenty one. Opening night, raised
- 2:22Speaker 6: a band or all that kind of stuff, and the
- 2:24Speaker 6: Patriots lost for like twenty one points or.
- 2:27Speaker 1: Something, and we flew all the way across the country.
- 2:29Speaker 1: At least it was only game one.
- 2:30Speaker 6: Yeah, and it was coming off of Super Bowl win.
- 2:32Speaker 1: So that hopes to like I went to the Las
- 2:34Speaker 1: Vegas Bowl once. First of all, why did I go
- 2:37Speaker 1: to the Las Vegas Ball You know, I've been to
- 2:38Speaker 1: like four of those. But I don't live out west.
- 2:41Speaker 1: You're probably living in California when that happened. How old
- 2:43Speaker 1: were you when you went to the Vegas Bowl.
- 2:45Speaker 3: I was living in Austin, Okay, so I was Vegas.
- 2:49Speaker 1: Yeah, but I don't go. I don't go to Vegas.
- 2:51Speaker 1: I mean I don't do Vegas.
- 2:52Speaker 5: No.
- 2:52Speaker 1: I went for the game. It's miserable, it's more terrible. Bawl.
- 2:56Speaker 1: Who did they play? You remember? No, and it's cold.
- 3:01Speaker 1: I don't remember being cold. I remember thinking why am
- 3:03Speaker 1: I here? Where? Six and six?
- 3:04Speaker 3: Where is? Where do they have the Vegas where the
- 3:08Speaker 3: UNLV plays?
- 3:08Speaker 1: Right?
- 3:09Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, yeah, yeah.
- 3:10Speaker 6: I mean it's it's a drive from the strip, not
- 3:12Speaker 6: too far, but it's a drive.
- 3:14Speaker 1: We went to UNLV's football facility. We did too much access.
- 3:17Speaker 3: But they now they play where the Raiders play, so
- 3:19Speaker 3: I don't even know where the old Oh they do,
- 3:21Speaker 3: yeah yeah.
- 3:22Speaker 1: Oh it used to be their field, like they had
- 3:25Speaker 1: their own their own field. Yeah, it's just terrible. And
- 3:28Speaker 1: then I was like, I'm a loser for even coming,
- 3:30Speaker 1: and I'm a loser because we just lost.
- 3:32Speaker 6: Yeah, that's a that's a tough bull to coat.
- 3:35Speaker 1: And we've all I've also been to like away games,
- 3:37Speaker 1: even an SEZ play where you go and you just
- 3:40Speaker 1: want to go home because you got beat. But then
- 3:41Speaker 1: there's not a straight flight. So we'd go to like
- 3:44Speaker 1: Tuscaloosa and watch Alabama beat our brains in and I
- 3:46Speaker 1: couldn't get back to Texas or to Arkansas on a
- 3:50Speaker 1: single flight, So you got to go Tuscaloosa to Dallas.
- 3:52Speaker 1: Dallas it's just miserable the next day you gotta go
- 3:55Speaker 1: like this crappy hotel. I think most of my weight
- 3:58Speaker 1: trips have been sad that I think about it. Anyway,
- 4:02Speaker 1: Sorry about your loss.
- 4:03Speaker 3: You did have Illinois my Calcutta team.
- 4:05Speaker 1: How much did you end up winning overall?
- 4:07Speaker 3: One hundred and twenty bucks? Hundred ninety I'll take it.
- 4:10Speaker 3: Great job, that's awesome, I'll take I did tell my
- 4:12Speaker 3: kids though, if if Illinois wins the whole thing, I
- 4:15Speaker 3: think I would have won like seven hundred bucks. I'm
- 4:17Speaker 3: getting you irons titleist irons that I've always wanted.
- 4:21Speaker 1: Why did your kids care?
- 4:22Speaker 3: Yeah, because they're all into golf now, and so so
- 4:24Speaker 3: I took them to Golf Galaxy or whatever to go
- 4:27Speaker 3: use them simulator and we just went around looking for
- 4:30Speaker 3: clubs and I was like, guys, this is these are
- 4:32Speaker 3: the irons I've always wanted, and so, yeah, my dreams
- 4:36Speaker 3: were kind of crushed.
- 4:38Speaker 1: You do that to yourself. They weren't the favorite, I know,
- 4:40Speaker 1: but I think they were a point favorite in that game,
- 4:44Speaker 1: but they weren't the favorite overall.
- 4:45Speaker 3: Yeah, they're like one and a half.
- 4:46Speaker 1: To beat Arizona or Michigan. Those were probably the best
- 4:49Speaker 1: two teams for Man Yukon. They've been there three the
- 4:50Speaker 1: last four years. It's crazy how they just win. I
- 4:54Speaker 1: still wouldn't want to go to ukas too cold Connecticut.
- 4:57Speaker 1: Would you like to play for Dane Hurley? Probably? Yeah.
- 5:00Speaker 1: I think if he's your coach, he's your freaking guy.
- 5:03Speaker 1: If he's not your coach, you hate his guts.
- 5:05Speaker 3: I'm starting to like him a little more.
- 5:07Speaker 1: We had a little that with Muss because Muss was nuts. Yeah,
- 5:11Speaker 1: and people that we played wouldn't like must and they'd
- 5:14Speaker 1: be like, he take your shirt off when he wins
- 5:15Speaker 1: a big game, and but that was our guy, so
- 5:18Speaker 1: we definitely didn't care. That was like, it's like, uh,
- 5:21Speaker 1: Pat Bev. If Pat Bev plays for your team in
- 5:24Speaker 1: the NBA, if he did, like he was a defensive stopper.
- 5:27Speaker 1: Big attitude though is fighting and you'd be like, I
- 5:30Speaker 1: hate playing against that guy such a But if you
- 5:32Speaker 1: played for you, You're like Pat Bev's my dude.
- 5:34Speaker 6: Everyone wants that guy, yeah to be on their team.
- 5:37Speaker 1: Yes, you hate him if he's not with you, you
- 5:39Speaker 1: love him. If he is, yep, So do you wust
- 5:41Speaker 1: the women's anything?
- 5:44Speaker 3: We had talked about it on the last podcast. I
- 5:46Speaker 3: was like, you know what, let me watch. I think
- 5:48Speaker 3: it was Texas UCLA.
- 5:50Speaker 1: Oh that was a bad one.
- 5:50Speaker 3: Oh my goodness, guys. I was like, what am I doing?
- 5:52Speaker 1: That was a bad one. They didn't score it. I
- 5:54Speaker 1: think it was like four to two and a half.
- 5:55Speaker 3: Or at the end of the first quarter. I think
- 5:57Speaker 3: Texas scored six or eight points.
- 5:59Speaker 1: I'm like, and they played quarters in women's which is
- 6:02Speaker 1: different from what we're used to.
- 6:04Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 6:04Speaker 1: No, seriously, there were no points at the end of
- 6:06Speaker 1: that game. Yeah.
- 6:07Speaker 3: I didn't watch any of it, and I watched it
- 6:08Speaker 3: with my father in law and we were just like,
- 6:10Speaker 3: this is so bad.
- 6:11Speaker 1: I saw a lot of the clips though, from that Geno,
- 6:14Speaker 1: the Yukon coach in South Carolina coach, Yeah, they you know,
- 6:18Speaker 1: they were whatever in the South Carolina goes and they got whooped.
- 6:20Speaker 3: I don't really even know what that fight was about,
- 6:22Speaker 3: Like what was that fight?
- 6:24Speaker 1: I don't know. I think I don't know.
- 6:26Speaker 6: I think it's before the game. But from what I saw.
- 6:29Speaker 3: Waiting for her, it's like he said. I saw him
- 6:32Speaker 3: in a press conference and he said that for his
- 6:35Speaker 3: all his years of coaching, before the game, starts. You
- 6:38Speaker 3: meet right in the middle and you talk to the
- 6:40Speaker 3: coach for a little bit, and he said, I sat there.
- 6:42Speaker 3: I stood there and waited for her to show up.
- 6:44Speaker 3: She never showed up, But then you bring it up
- 6:46Speaker 3: after the game.
- 6:47Speaker 1: He was also complaining during the game at how demonstrative
- 6:52Speaker 1: she was, and she's like yelling at the revs and
- 6:55Speaker 1: she's I think he was so irritated by that pregame.
- 6:58Speaker 1: And again I watched like three yeah, yeah.
- 7:02Speaker 3: You know that the big the center though for UCLA.
- 7:05Speaker 3: I mean, she's like six seven.
- 7:06Speaker 1: Really, she's just huge. I saw a girl that played
- 7:09Speaker 1: dual sport basketball and softball, but for some reason, she's
- 7:12Speaker 1: playing softball UCLA and she flew back. I don't know
- 7:15Speaker 1: if maybe she was a walk on or something on
- 7:17Speaker 1: the basketball team, but she flew back to be with
- 7:19Speaker 1: the team at the end of the game. But I'm like,
- 7:20Speaker 1: wh wouldn't keep play unless he's like a star on
- 7:22Speaker 1: softball and not on basketball. Again, I just caught this
- 7:24Speaker 1: stuff in headline. I didn't spend any time social media watching.
- 7:29Speaker 3: I honestly, I hadn't even thought about watching it, but
- 7:32Speaker 3: we were talking about it the last podcast. I was
- 7:34Speaker 3: like I might as well watch a little bit of it.
- 7:35Speaker 1: You've been keeping up with the Kevin that Pirates prospect
- 7:38Speaker 1: at all Connor Griffin, No way.
- 7:41Speaker 6: Is he the teenager? Yeah, okay another thing. I've seen
- 7:44Speaker 6: some highlights here and there, but I don't know too
- 7:45Speaker 6: much about it.
- 7:46Speaker 1: So I did a dig so I can well one.
- 7:49Speaker 1: I wanted to be educated on him. He's the number
- 7:51Speaker 1: one prospect in baseball. He was called up and the
- 7:53Speaker 1: reason that I think I jumped in is because I
- 7:55Speaker 1: saw his mom crying after his first hit and they
- 7:58Speaker 1: were Although if you go to the Pirates, that's yeah,
- 8:01Speaker 1: he's the number one prospect in baseball. He jumped from
- 8:05Speaker 1: a top fifty guy to number one and basically one season.
- 8:08Speaker 1: A lot of scouts are saying that he's the best
- 8:10Speaker 1: that they've seen in years. He is a five tool freak.
- 8:16Speaker 1: He hits for average, hits for power, He steals bases.
- 8:19Speaker 1: He could play shortstop or center field. He's six four
- 8:21Speaker 1: to two twenty five and runs super fast. As a teenager,
- 8:27Speaker 1: he's still nineteen. In his first pro year in the minors,
- 8:30Speaker 1: he was he batted three thirty three, twenty one home run,
- 8:32Speaker 1: sixty five stolen bases. He started last year low Way
- 8:36Speaker 1: ended up double a same year. Then he went to
- 8:38Speaker 1: triple ambatt at four thirty eight. He's in the majors
- 8:41Speaker 1: at nineteen years old. Now the Pirates are already working
- 8:46Speaker 1: on a one hundred and forty million dollars deal with
- 8:48Speaker 1: him before he's even established. They think he's a franchise
- 8:52Speaker 1: of the cornerstone or a corner stone of the franchise.
- 8:54Speaker 1: But for me, the Pirates don't pay people.
- 8:56Speaker 6: No, they're already talking about getting rid of schemes, aren't they.
- 8:59Speaker 6: He's the best pitcher in Basse.
- 9:00Speaker 1: The best. I think he wants to go. I don't
- 9:03Speaker 1: think he wants to be on that.
- 9:04Speaker 6: I think everyone wants to go.
- 9:05Speaker 1: Yeah, he's not saying He's not saying he wants to
- 9:07Speaker 1: go at all, like Ski is not saying at all
- 9:09Speaker 1: he wants to leave. He doesn't say much at all
- 9:10Speaker 1: like talk. I don't know if I've ever even heard
- 9:13Speaker 1: him talk his Oh I have a couple of times
- 9:15Speaker 1: i'd have heard him do interviews.
- 9:16Speaker 6: Okay and his girlfriend because they're not married or anything yet.
- 9:19Speaker 6: Right Levey done.
- 9:19Speaker 1: She's super popular. So in his MLB debut he hit
- 9:24Speaker 1: an RBI double in his first at bat. He's the
- 9:27Speaker 1: first teenage position player since Won Soto at nineteen years old.
- 9:32Speaker 1: He's like if you gave Bobby Witt junior, gave him
- 9:35Speaker 1: his speed and added more size, and then they say,
- 9:38Speaker 1: like a Kuna type upside. He's a thirty thirty short stop.
- 9:43Speaker 1: Let's see no obvious weakness doing it way earlier than normal.
- 9:49Speaker 1: He played at Jackson Prep School in Mississippi. Was a
- 9:52Speaker 1: two sports star baseball on football dominated at the national level.
- 9:55Speaker 1: He was the Gateway player that year in Mississippi. By
- 9:57Speaker 1: the way, this is like a year and a half ago. Yeah,
- 10:00Speaker 1: because he was in high school, he was one of
- 10:02Speaker 1: the top high school prospects in the country. He was
- 10:05Speaker 1: widely viewed as a potential number one overall draft pick
- 10:08Speaker 1: before the draft, although a lot of his maturation has
- 10:14Speaker 1: happened in the past year. Once he was already in
- 10:16Speaker 1: the miners, Like he was a really great UH prospect,
- 10:22Speaker 1: but he's gotten so good just in his one year
- 10:23Speaker 1: in the miners. He did not play college baseball. Yeah,
- 10:28Speaker 1: there you go.
- 10:29Speaker 6: Wow, that'd be crazy. Imagine like being his friend, Like, dude,
- 10:32Speaker 6: we just graduated a year and a half ago, and
- 10:33Speaker 6: now you're just hitting dingers and yeah major Yeah, in.
- 10:36Speaker 3: The freaking major League. So there you go.
- 10:38Speaker 1: If anyone asks you about Conor Griffin, that's a quick
- 10:42Speaker 1: breakdown on who he is, where he's from, and what
- 10:46Speaker 1: he's been doing so far. Yeah, so there you go.
- 10:49Speaker 1: All right, Yeah I like that.
- 10:51Speaker 3: I like that. Like if I'm at like the school
- 10:52Speaker 3: with the boys and a dad's like, hey, what do
- 10:54Speaker 3: you know about that that new pirates kill.
- 10:55Speaker 1: Let's his name?
- 10:56Speaker 3: Griffin?
- 10:57Speaker 6: Yeah, let me tell you about him, the one for
- 10:58Speaker 6: Mississippi fin Griffin.
- 11:01Speaker 3: Do you notice? Yeah?
- 11:03Speaker 1: What I heard you?
- 11:05Speaker 3: That wasn't sure?
- 11:06Speaker 1: So okay, So we got a little learning in I
- 11:08Speaker 1: wanted to get. I want to do some learner at
- 11:09Speaker 1: the beginning, the NC DOUBLEA is reportedly announcing tournament expansion
- 11:12Speaker 1: to seventy six teams over the weekend.
- 11:15Speaker 3: Why do you hate it because it's already so long.
- 11:17Speaker 1: I know it's not gonna make it any longer. It's
- 11:18Speaker 1: going to be in all the playing games. I have
- 11:19Speaker 1: no problem. More teams A better is what I say.
- 11:21Speaker 1: You're not making it longer. If you're if you're loading
- 11:24Speaker 1: it from the front, I have no problem whatsoever. It
- 11:26Speaker 1: gives more teams the ability to play. It's more money
- 11:29Speaker 1: for everybody. These schools make a million bucks if they
- 11:31Speaker 1: even play in that playing game. Oh really Yeah, so
- 11:35Speaker 1: I'm all for it, and also I understand businesses want
- 11:38Speaker 1: to make money. Reports started to seep out revealing the
- 11:41Speaker 1: NC Doublea's plans to finally pull the trigger on a
- 11:43Speaker 1: move that very few people other than those who make
- 11:46Speaker 1: sponsorship cash are excited about. Both the men's and women's
- 11:49Speaker 1: basketball tournaments will be expanded to seventy six teams, so
- 11:53Speaker 1: probably eight games in that first four. Look at Texas,
- 11:58Speaker 1: they're a.
- 11:59Speaker 3: First four, I know, and they went. They went pretty far.
- 12:01Speaker 3: Where do they go?
- 12:02Speaker 1: E laite eight sixteen sixteen sixteen? Yeah, So they're going
- 12:07Speaker 1: to probably announce it after tonight's National Championship game. Sports
- 12:11Speaker 1: Business Journal with the story, I have no problem with
- 12:13Speaker 1: it because when they announced, because it's it's not sixty
- 12:16Speaker 1: four and more sixty eight, Oh my god, expansion. That
- 12:18Speaker 1: doesn't hurt anybody. Did it hurt anything at all? It
- 12:22Speaker 1: gave us a couple of games on Tuesday that we
- 12:24Speaker 1: were like, oh, let's look at it as it passes.
- 12:27Speaker 3: So it'll be the first the first eight is that
- 12:30Speaker 3: what you said a verse four. Huh you said that
- 12:34Speaker 3: before the termin starts there'll be eight.
- 12:35Speaker 1: Yeah, it'll be yeah, eight games because you'll low eight games. Okay, well,
- 12:39Speaker 1: seventy sixty four to seventy six, that's twelve. That's six games.
- 12:47Speaker 1: I don't know. But it's those playing games. It doesn't
- 12:50Speaker 1: hurt anybody. It's more masculine, it's more sports on TV.
- 12:53Speaker 1: Who gives a crap? It is more money. That's why
- 12:55Speaker 1: why would you be upset with it? Go ahead?
- 12:58Speaker 6: I I just feel it's there's no point for it.
- 13:01Speaker 1: There's no point to have it at sixty four. There's
- 13:04Speaker 1: been like in history, what two or three? Sixteen beats
- 13:07Speaker 1: a one? Ever, so that doesn't happen.
- 13:09Speaker 6: Yeah, and then nowadays the Cinderella's.
- 13:11Speaker 1: Doesn't happen, really Cinderella's.
- 13:12Speaker 6: Yeah, So it's kind of like, Okay, I'm gonna be
- 13:14Speaker 6: watching who.
- 13:16Speaker 1: I don't know. You don't watch them. I bet you
- 13:18Speaker 1: didn't watch the First Fall.
- 13:19Speaker 6: Heck no, I didn't watch.
- 13:20Speaker 1: That's my point. It's more games you're already not watching
- 13:22Speaker 1: that you're not gonna.
- 13:22Speaker 3: Watch, So why do we care?
- 13:24Speaker 1: Then?
- 13:24Speaker 3: Yeah, if we're not gonna watch it, and somebody else
- 13:27Speaker 3: is my point either, I'm not that's we care?
- 13:29Speaker 1: Why would you care? And be like, oh, like, why
- 13:31Speaker 1: would you care? That's my point. It was not gonna
- 13:33Speaker 1: ruin my day.
- 13:34Speaker 6: But I'm just saying, like, why.
- 13:36Speaker 1: Did you like the college football expansion? Because everybody complained
- 13:39Speaker 1: about that.
- 13:39Speaker 6: Four to eight to twelve, I actually didn't.
- 13:42Speaker 1: I love it. Go to sixteen, I don't. I don't.
- 13:45Speaker 1: I think keeping more fan bases in games later is
- 13:48Speaker 1: great for the sport.
- 13:49Speaker 6: I just hate the old. You know, the regular season
- 13:52Speaker 6: doesn't matter as much in football. We're talking football, But
- 13:55Speaker 6: what about the NFL.
- 13:56Speaker 1: That argument doesn't work because it's the same thing. In
- 13:58Speaker 1: the NFL does the regular season matters just as much,
- 14:01Speaker 1: It's just different.
- 14:03Speaker 6: I just view college in the NFL totally different, and
- 14:06Speaker 6: I liked. I think that's what I liked about college
- 14:07Speaker 6: so much. I felt like every single game mattered.
- 14:10Speaker 1: What I hated about college the most is if you
- 14:11Speaker 1: lost an early game, you're out of it. I hated
- 14:14Speaker 1: that about college.
- 14:15Speaker 3: I love that. And what's tricky about is there are
- 14:16Speaker 3: so many more teams in college than there on in
- 14:18Speaker 3: the NFL.
- 14:18Speaker 1: Yeah, one hundred and freaking sixty eight teams. I made
- 14:21Speaker 1: that number up so.
- 14:21Speaker 3: You get sounded right though.
- 14:24Speaker 6: But it's kind of the same twelve teams that are
- 14:26Speaker 6: there at the end, kind of in football Indiana, wasn't
- 14:30Speaker 6: They're only new to the lize. That was a whole Yeah,
- 14:32Speaker 6: I mean that's an outlier like none other.
- 14:34Speaker 1: That's money, that's the ability to have money. Though.
- 14:36Speaker 6: Yeah now nowadays, yeah, now we can see a little
- 14:38Speaker 6: bit different. Now everybody's gonna have those expectations. So I
- 14:42Speaker 6: guess would the nil and the transfer portal the expansion
- 14:46Speaker 6: is a little bit better. But I just love the whole.
- 14:48Speaker 6: Like in October, Tennessee beats Alabama. Dang, I don't know
- 14:52Speaker 6: if Alabama's gonna make it, make it.
- 14:54Speaker 1: I hate that.
- 14:55Speaker 6: I love that.
- 14:56Speaker 1: I hate it. Early on, if you make a mistake,
- 14:57Speaker 1: you're penalized for the whole year. You're done.
- 14:59Speaker 6: What if that life it was like that? Oh yeah,
- 15:01Speaker 6: screw that.
- 15:02Speaker 1: That was tough. But you're just a kid. You're learning
- 15:05Speaker 1: as you go. You know. If it were one hundred
- 15:09Speaker 1: and twenty four hundred and thirty two teams, everybody gets
- 15:13Speaker 1: in that feel kind of like I don't mind some
- 15:15Speaker 1: other games on it on a Tuesday, I'm not even
- 15:18Speaker 1: really watching anyway.
- 15:20Speaker 3: It just it's always hard to explain it to my
- 15:22Speaker 3: family when it's like, oh, yeah, so what are we watching?
- 15:25Speaker 3: Like all right, this is the first four and they're
- 15:26Speaker 3: just like, okay, so there, this is the tournament the
- 15:28Speaker 3: start of March mad It's like no, no, really, they
- 15:30Speaker 3: got to whoever wins this game is going to play
- 15:32Speaker 3: this seed. And it's like now it's gonna be really
- 15:34Speaker 3: convoluted before it even starts.
- 15:37Speaker 1: But really convoluted. It's a few more games. You don't
- 15:39Speaker 1: have to teach them new rules. I know.
- 15:41Speaker 3: It's just a I don't know, it's just like you,
- 15:43Speaker 3: I love the first day of the tournament, like I
- 15:45Speaker 3: love that Thursday, not the first four Thursday Thursday.
- 15:48Speaker 1: But it's not affecting anything because those games were played,
- 15:50Speaker 1: the first four were played, those teams win sometimes. I
- 15:53Speaker 1: think UCLA won a long ways. They were one of
- 15:56Speaker 1: the first four a few years ago and they went
- 15:57Speaker 1: to maybe the elitator final four.
- 16:00Speaker 3: So how many seeds are going to be in the tournament.
- 16:02Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't know think about that. I
- 16:03Speaker 1: don't even really care, but I do think it's annoying
- 16:06Speaker 1: people go, oh, that sucks expansion because that's generally what
- 16:09Speaker 1: people will do when it doesn't affect us at all
- 16:11Speaker 1: and gives the N blows. Guys who that Okay, let's
- 16:16Speaker 1: just move some of those good teams over here. Okay,
- 16:19Speaker 1: I can get on more with that, and fan bases
- 16:22Speaker 1: get to be in.
- 16:22Speaker 3: A long Did somebody win the N I don't know, dude,
- 16:25Speaker 3: is that over?
- 16:26Speaker 6: I think an Auburn was in the final game, but
- 16:28Speaker 6: I saw like a tweet. Yeah, I don't know.
- 16:34Speaker 3: I forget that's even going on.
- 16:36Speaker 1: Yeah, no, I have no idea. Anyway, I get it
- 16:39Speaker 1: to people annoyed because you've been taught to be annoyed,
- 16:40Speaker 1: and you guys follow along.
- 16:42Speaker 3: It's pretty funny though, you know, like my in laws
- 16:44Speaker 3: are in town, and it's funny to watch basketball with
- 16:47Speaker 3: them and their little comments about like, man, like this
- 16:51Speaker 3: is there's a grown man playing, like these aren't even
- 16:53Speaker 3: kids playing anymore.
- 16:54Speaker 5: You know.
- 16:55Speaker 3: It's because in their day, like, yeah, it was true
- 16:58Speaker 3: kids going to college, going to last to get an
- 17:01Speaker 3: education and then they're good at sports. Now it's a
- 17:03Speaker 3: whole different deal.
- 17:05Speaker 1: Yeah, but that's always been the case because whenever they
- 17:07Speaker 1: first gave the first athletic scholarships. People are like, this
- 17:10Speaker 1: is never gonna be the same. Kids are getting free
- 17:11Speaker 1: school to play sports. You should have just played sports
- 17:13Speaker 1: for the love of the game, not to because you
- 17:15Speaker 1: get this has never been different, like some of the
- 17:17Speaker 1: circumstances have changed her, but it's always been people who
- 17:20Speaker 1: are upset about something and the growth of college sports
- 17:23Speaker 1: because people got upset when people got scholarships. We can't
- 17:27Speaker 1: believe they get to go to school for freges because
- 17:28Speaker 1: they're good a throwing a ball. That's stupid. Now it's
- 17:32Speaker 1: going to transfer. That's stupid.
- 17:33Speaker 3: They make millions, that's stupid. They're kids.
- 17:36Speaker 1: But these programs are are making like one hundreds of
- 17:38Speaker 1: millions of dollars and the student athletes that are doing
- 17:41Speaker 1: the work are getting were getting nothing. Now there are
- 17:44Speaker 1: big flaws, but yeah, anybody that says they shouldn't get
- 17:49Speaker 1: paid that is such like old school, you should don't.
- 17:56Speaker 1: I can't believe kids get scholarships type thinking, yeah.
- 17:59Speaker 6: Well there is a I can remember at thirty for
- 18:01Speaker 6: thirty where was like some former player back in the
- 18:03Speaker 6: day couldn't even go to a store and buy his
- 18:05Speaker 6: on jersey, but they were making millions off in It's like,
- 18:07Speaker 6: that's all you really need.
- 18:08Speaker 1: To say, So anyway they're gonna expand that I really
- 18:11Speaker 1: don't care.
- 18:12Speaker 3: I just felt like it's, yeah, I don't care.
- 18:14Speaker 6: I don't don't care.
- 18:14Speaker 1: I don't care.
- 18:14Speaker 3: Man who cares?
- 18:15Speaker 6: Do whatever?

- 19:35Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 19:36Speaker 3: Go?
- 19:36Speaker 6: That would be what I mean?
- 19:39Speaker 3: I feel like that's expensive? Wait? Expensive?
- 19:42Speaker 1: Well, a lot of people would be any game to
- 19:43Speaker 1: go to. If you go to an NFL game, there's
- 19:45Speaker 1: a lot of people.
- 19:46Speaker 3: Now I'd rather watch out the house.
- 19:49Speaker 1: Those tickets are really expensive to try to go to
- 19:51Speaker 1: a game. Oh, I bet like if you buy them
- 19:55Speaker 1: in secondary markets are sometimes twenty thousand dollars a ticket.
- 19:59Speaker 1: FIFA ray this top ticket for the World Cup final
- 20:01Speaker 1: and this is if you're able to get it from them,
- 20:03Speaker 1: to eleven thousand dollars a ticket.
- 20:05Speaker 3: Whoam? Yeah? Have you ever watched a soccer game newser Live,
- 20:11Speaker 3: like a real professional soccer game.
- 20:12Speaker 1: Yeah, I watched one here stupid.
- 20:14Speaker 3: Well, like any like Nashville Soccer.
- 20:16Speaker 1: Yeah, but they played it, or the Titans play. So
- 20:18Speaker 1: the stadium was way too big. Oh yeah, and there
- 20:21Speaker 1: were like the two main sections on each side. I
- 20:23Speaker 1: think it was like Nashville Soccer Club versus like Columbus
- 20:28Speaker 1: Soccer Club. The stadium was too big to really like
- 20:32Speaker 1: enjoy the vibe. I didn't. I didn't much care for it.
- 20:35Speaker 1: I don't know much about soccer though, and I think
- 20:38Speaker 1: I needed vibe because I didn't understand what was happening
- 20:40Speaker 1: for the most part. I but no, that's it. Why no?
- 20:44Speaker 3: Because I mean I went to my first one a
- 20:46Speaker 3: few years ago, and I went here to watch Nashville
- 20:49Speaker 3: Soccer Club and it was really exciting, Like just the
- 20:52Speaker 3: speed of the game was very shocked. And that was
- 20:54Speaker 3: my first time that I've ever seen the stadium.
- 20:56Speaker 1: Oh that seems fun.
- 20:57Speaker 3: Wait, the one I went to, not needs on their
- 21:00Speaker 3: own stad looks cool because I think it's packed. Yes,
- 21:02Speaker 3: and our seats were pretty good. We're probably like five
- 21:03Speaker 3: rows close. And man, the speed was fast. The action
- 21:08Speaker 3: was fast. You get to see like how precise their
- 21:11Speaker 3: kicks are and like it's pretty cool. And I'd never
- 21:13Speaker 3: been to a soccer game like that, so I had
- 21:15Speaker 3: no idea and I left thinking like this would be
- 21:18Speaker 3: cool to just keep coming to.
- 21:19Speaker 6: Did your boys go or no?
- 21:20Speaker 3: Yeah? Okay, yeah they loved it.
- 21:21Speaker 6: Yeah they had fun.
- 21:22Speaker 3: Man.
- 21:22Speaker 1: Something I can't do is kick a ball, any ball, football,
- 21:25Speaker 1: soccer ball. Kicking. No, It's like you would think I
- 21:29Speaker 1: was not athletic at all, because I'm only mid athletic anyway,
- 21:33Speaker 1: but I mean none when it comes to kicking.
- 21:34Speaker 6: I remember Tim drexas even do you want to see
- 21:37Speaker 6: me kick a soccer ball?
- 21:38Speaker 1: It's even worse.
- 21:39Speaker 6: Oh, I don't think we did it. No, we didn't
- 21:40Speaker 6: do any soccer.
- 21:40Speaker 3: We didn't do soccer.
- 21:42Speaker 1: I have no concept. I never kicked. When would I
- 21:44Speaker 1: have kicked ever in my life? I think I could
- 21:48Speaker 1: probably after a few lessons, like probably get to be
- 21:50Speaker 1: okay of decent control my body. But I am terrible
- 21:52Speaker 1: at kicking freaking eddies.
- 21:54Speaker 3: I thought that I could see my blood, you know,
- 21:57Speaker 3: even when I was a kid, Like that's the first
- 21:58Speaker 3: sport I ever played at soccer as a kid. How
- 22:01Speaker 3: long till I was like fifth grade or something. Yeah,
- 22:06Speaker 3: and that was it. He was a defender. But I mean, yeah,
- 22:09Speaker 3: in my culture, like soccer is the sport. Everyone plays soccer.
- 22:14Speaker 1: You brought into Lamar odems story from the documentary. Yeah,
- 22:17Speaker 1: all right, give me something about Lamar.
- 22:20Speaker 6: Yeah, because you said you don't want to watch it,
- 22:22Speaker 6: but you wanted to hear the good stories from him.
- 22:24Speaker 6: So one of them that I wrote down was his
- 22:26Speaker 6: dad came to the hospital when he overdosed and he
- 22:29Speaker 6: was in a coma for like three or four days.
- 22:30Speaker 1: He's in a coma for there four days, yes, like
- 22:32Speaker 1: he was dead.
- 22:33Speaker 3: That was after the Bunny Ranch, right.
- 22:34Speaker 6: That was after the Bunny ranch. Yep pulled him out
- 22:36Speaker 6: of the Bunny ranch. When to the hospital, was in
- 22:38Speaker 6: there for three or four days and his dad was
- 22:40Speaker 6: in there. This is when him and Chloe were going
- 22:42Speaker 6: through a divorce but not official yet. She walked in
- 22:45Speaker 6: and his dad like, Oh, pull him off, you know,
- 22:47Speaker 6: like get him off live support. Like he's done, he's brain.
- 22:50Speaker 1: Dead, said pulled the plug. Yeah.
- 22:53Speaker 6: Chloe walked in and she was like uh uh. She's
- 22:55Speaker 6: like she says this in the documentary. She's like, it's
- 22:57Speaker 6: something out of a movie. She's like, no way. She's like,
- 23:00Speaker 6: I'm here, we're legally married. I'm calling the shots here
- 23:04Speaker 6: and she goes, what do you want? And he said,
- 23:07Speaker 6: like a hundred bucks, a paraanikes and a hotel for
- 23:10Speaker 6: the night. Gave him that never saw him again.
- 23:14Speaker 3: Wow, Okay, So he wanted to pull the plug because
- 23:16Speaker 3: he would get some of the money.
- 23:18Speaker 6: Yeah, he thought he was a beneficiary.
- 23:19Speaker 3: Oh man, that is crazy.
- 23:22Speaker 1: Was he pulled the plug a bull? Because I know
- 23:24Speaker 1: he was out? He said for a few days. He
- 23:26Speaker 1: was in a coma. Were they like debating that or yeah,
- 23:29Speaker 1: walk in and go regardless of value? Doctors phil pull
- 23:31Speaker 1: the plug?
- 23:32Speaker 6: No, they said, So he had another part. He had
- 23:36Speaker 6: twelve strokes and six heart attacks during all this. During
- 23:39Speaker 6: all this so they told his kids like, he's gonna
- 23:42Speaker 6: be brain dead. You're not gonna be able to talk
- 23:44Speaker 6: to him ever again, that kind of thing. And now,
- 23:46Speaker 6: I mean he's fine. He's in the documentary too, he.
- 23:48Speaker 3: Called twelve stroke, twelve how's he fine?
- 23:51Speaker 6: And six heart attacks?
- 23:53Speaker 1: Yeah? How is he fine? Great question?
- 23:54Speaker 3: That doesn't make any sense.
- 23:55Speaker 1: His recovery he recovered.
- 23:57Speaker 6: They have all these like clips of him in recovery
- 23:59Speaker 6: with Chloe, and she's teaching all this stuff like how
- 24:01Speaker 6: to recover, how to walk again, how to talk again,
- 24:03Speaker 6: showing them pictures.
- 24:04Speaker 1: Of his kids.
- 24:05Speaker 6: You know this is no I have no idea the
- 24:07Speaker 6: whole thing. He starts from scratch and has no idea
- 24:12Speaker 6: what anything is, what anyone is, who Chloe is, who
- 24:14Speaker 6: anything is, and it's just a long.
- 24:17Speaker 1: Road to recovery.
- 24:19Speaker 6: Twelve strokes crazy.
- 24:22Speaker 3: You know what's crazy is that, like we all know,
- 24:25Speaker 3: I don't know. You seem like you don't rememberally remember
- 24:27Speaker 3: the story. I remember all those like the Bunny Ranch
- 24:29Speaker 3: and him them finding them unresponsive and all that, but
- 24:33Speaker 3: we don't get like I don't remember any of the recovery.
- 24:37Speaker 1: Me neither.
- 24:37Speaker 6: And I also didn't realize he was going through all
- 24:40Speaker 6: this while still like playing. I don't know, he went
- 24:42Speaker 6: downhill so fast in his career, and I thought it
- 24:45Speaker 6: was his career going downhill that led to drugs, But
- 24:47Speaker 6: it was drugs that led to the career, and then
- 24:49Speaker 6: it just got worse and worse. And it talks about
- 24:50Speaker 6: how much cocaine did and all this stuff in the documentary,
- 24:54Speaker 6: and I mean, it was bad, really bad obviously to
- 24:58Speaker 6: have twelve strokes six heart attacks.
- 25:01Speaker 1: Also, it sounds like his environment growing up wasn't the best.
- 25:03Speaker 6: That's a huge thing they get into.
- 25:04Speaker 1: Also, they' talking about his dad show up being like
- 25:07Speaker 1: give me a hundred bucks some shoes. Yeah, and he
- 25:08Speaker 1: wanted to pull the plug. That ain't somewhere with the
- 25:11Speaker 1: best situation.
- 25:12Speaker 6: Yeah, he didn't have any structure. Mom died when he
- 25:14Speaker 6: was young, so like he's like, yeah, I had horrible
- 25:17Speaker 6: grades growing up, but I never got like repercussions.
- 25:19Speaker 1: And it was the bunny rach, it was the bunny wrench.
- 25:21Speaker 1: And they were like that that bed was like a museum.
- 25:24Speaker 6: Yeah, they've turned it into that now. At the very
- 25:25Speaker 6: beginning of the documentary they opened it up where the
- 25:28Speaker 6: guy who was like running out the time, the manager,
- 25:30Speaker 6: he's like, I haven't seen this thing years. Was there
- 25:33Speaker 6: a video there's like there's some video camera footage of
- 25:38Speaker 6: him walking around in that room, but not actually oding
- 25:40Speaker 6: or anything. And this guy was the guy who owned
- 25:43Speaker 6: the bunny ranch. I don't know it was Dennis Hoffer
- 25:47Speaker 6: was his name.
- 25:48Speaker 1: Do you remember him at all? You guys? He was
- 25:49Speaker 1: in the news.
- 25:50Speaker 6: They have clips of him all over in the news
- 25:52Speaker 6: and he was like basically like pimping out camera footage
- 25:56Speaker 6: of him in that room to TMZ and all these
- 25:58Speaker 6: news outlets like who wants it All? Give you exclusive
- 26:00Speaker 6: rights for the right price, going on, all these outlets
- 26:04Speaker 6: talking about it. Oh yeah, and I have this book
- 26:06Speaker 6: by the way, promoting his book like this.
- 26:09Speaker 1: Man, dude, you were already in a shady business. I
- 26:12Speaker 1: guess I'm not surprised that you're shady.
- 26:14Speaker 6: Yeah. Like he used it to his advantage as much
- 26:17Speaker 6: as he could to get money out of it, to
- 26:19Speaker 6: get promotion out of it, to talk about his brand,
- 26:21Speaker 6: his business and everything.
- 26:23Speaker 1: And Chloe's in it.
- 26:24Speaker 6: Oh, Chloe's yeah, She's in the whole thing. She's awesome. Like,
- 26:27Speaker 6: I have a new respect for her as a wife, Like, dude,
- 26:31Speaker 6: she is what you want a wife as far as
- 26:33Speaker 6: being by your side. She was with him the whole
- 26:35Speaker 6: way and they're going through divorce, but then through the
- 26:37Speaker 6: whole recovery, she stayed with him. And then he went
- 26:41Speaker 6: off and still did his own thing after he recovered
- 26:43Speaker 6: and not going to drugs again after the recovery recovery,
- 26:48Speaker 6: and then she left him bottom like a place to stay,
- 26:52Speaker 6: you know, paid for all the stuff while he recovered,
- 26:54Speaker 6: This is after he got released from the hospital months later,
- 26:56Speaker 6: maybe a year later. She's like, bottom like an apartment.
- 27:00Speaker 6: I bought him this. I bought him that. I want
- 27:02Speaker 6: to go check on him every day. She was with
- 27:03Speaker 6: him at the hospital every day for months, and then
- 27:07Speaker 6: she comes back the first time and he's and she's like,
- 27:10Speaker 6: I walk in and I smell crack. Okain the first time.
- 27:13Speaker 1: Shelf of that where she's like, there's a smell that
- 27:16Speaker 1: I know you can't. Once you smell that, you always
- 27:19Speaker 1: remember it. She goes, I smelled crack. Yeah, did I
- 27:21Speaker 1: see that's running now? I think it was running on Netflix,
- 27:26Speaker 1: you know, Oh it's probably Netflix. Says I don't want
- 27:29Speaker 1: to hear the trailer sometimes I want all you do
- 27:31Speaker 1: is go over the top watch screaming out of trailer immediately.
- 27:33Speaker 1: Yeah I don't need that. Yeah, I want to do
- 27:35Speaker 1: a silent option. Yeah.
- 27:37Speaker 3: Yeah, I want to click down with a little movie
- 27:38Speaker 3: real click that for the trailer.
- 27:40Speaker 1: You liked it?
- 27:41Speaker 6: It was really good.
- 27:42Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 27:42Speaker 6: It offered a lot of insight that I never knew.
- 27:45Speaker 1: What'd you do this past weekend for Easter?
- 27:47Speaker 4: Oh?
- 27:47Speaker 1: I had a family in town, well in laws in town.
- 27:50Speaker 6: My wife's brother, girlfriend, and the parents came into town
- 27:54Speaker 6: hung out and I smoked a brisket.
- 27:57Speaker 1: I saw some meat on your Instagram story.
- 27:58Speaker 6: Yeah, twelve hours first one got up five am, put
- 28:03Speaker 6: that thing on the smoker. I prepped it the night before,
- 28:05Speaker 6: big old nine and a half pound piece of brisket.
- 28:08Speaker 6: I'd never done it before, and watched it all day,
- 28:12Speaker 6: you know, like I said, three, it on it, five,
- 28:14Speaker 6: checked it again for the first time.
- 28:15Speaker 1: I think a six hours in.
- 28:17Speaker 6: You take it out, you wrap it back up on foil,
- 28:19Speaker 6: put it back on there, and then you monitor it
- 28:22Speaker 6: basically all day.
- 28:22Speaker 1: You should give Eddy some tips.
- 28:24Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 28:25Speaker 1: We were texting that day.
- 28:27Speaker 3: Yeah, because I thought about doing a brisket too, and
- 28:29Speaker 3: so when I saw him, he sent me a picture.
- 28:31Speaker 3: He's like, look what I just put on. I was like, man,
- 28:33Speaker 3: where'd you get that? Because I had gone to the
- 28:35Speaker 3: store the day before to get a brisket and the
- 28:37Speaker 3: smallest piece I found was like seventeen pounds for almost
- 28:40Speaker 3: one hundred and thirty dollars. I'm like, I don't need
- 28:42Speaker 3: that much meat. That's way too much of meat. How
- 28:45Speaker 3: many pounds seventeen It was a huge slab of brisket
- 28:49Speaker 3: and it was like one hundred and thirty dollars. Like
- 28:51Speaker 3: that's too much. So I asked Kevin, like, where did
- 28:54Speaker 3: you get that? Because I think I'm gonna do it,
- 28:56Speaker 3: but then I saw the forecast it was gonna be raining,
- 28:58Speaker 3: so I decided to do fahetas instead. But his brisket
- 29:01Speaker 3: look good.
- 29:02Speaker 1: I have extra here.
- 29:03Speaker 3: If you guys did a brisket off, oh, I would win.
- 29:07Speaker 3: And I'm not bragging. Listen, I'm not bragging.
- 29:09Speaker 1: But what I didn't expect it to be that hard?
- 29:11Speaker 6: I know, I know way.
- 29:12Speaker 3: How many briskets have you made?
- 29:14Speaker 6: One?
- 29:15Speaker 1: Hey, Connor Griffin's only nineteen. How many plate appearances do
- 29:17Speaker 1: you have in the major y and you're saying he's
- 29:19Speaker 1: not as good a player something?
- 29:20Speaker 3: You see? This is what he does. Don't fall for this, Kevin.
- 29:23Speaker 6: Wait, you're the one that reacted that way. But let
- 29:26Speaker 6: me ask Eddie this question. What kind of smoker do
- 29:29Speaker 6: you use?
- 29:30Speaker 3: Pellet smoker? Smoker?
- 29:31Speaker 6: Yeah, yours is like digital and you get to set
- 29:33Speaker 6: it and forget it, right, Yeah, yeah, I use you
- 29:35Speaker 6: don't forget it. I use a charcoal where you got
- 29:38Speaker 6: to monitor it, make sure the temperatures staying. I'm just saying,
- 29:41Speaker 6: that's a whole another craft. But also, is it like
- 29:43Speaker 6: tended the baby a little more? The baby's better? Yeah,
- 29:46Speaker 6: it tastes in my opinion, it tastes better.
- 29:49Speaker 1: I mean I would do a blind without knowing who
- 29:54Speaker 1: made what. Let's do it?
- 29:55Speaker 3: Hold on? You pay for the meat?
- 29:57Speaker 1: Okay, how much I'm not buying? Seventy pounds? Do we
- 30:00Speaker 1: have to buy the cow? This time? Getting us back
- 30:04Speaker 1: into the can be ready till next year? We do
- 30:06Speaker 1: have the cow?
- 30:07Speaker 3: Though?
- 30:07Speaker 1: How much money do I need to give?
- 30:10Speaker 6: Mine was eighty five bucks for nine and a half pounds.
- 30:13Speaker 1: So I don't But if I don't want that much meat,
- 30:15Speaker 1: well you kind of.
- 30:16Speaker 6: I mean, you can't do like two pounds, can you?
- 30:18Speaker 3: I mean you're an he could they're really big.
- 30:22Speaker 6: I don't know. But twelve I mean twelve hours smoke
- 30:24Speaker 6: like you want a big, old, thick piece of meat.
- 30:27Speaker 3: Like, do you really think that he stands a chance?
- 30:32Speaker 1: Yes, stands a chance? Yes? Do I think he'll win? No?
- 30:35Speaker 1: But stands a chance, and maybe he could be a
- 30:36Speaker 1: phenom one end.
- 30:38Speaker 6: That's what I'm saying. How many have you done?
- 30:40Speaker 3: It's like twenty?
- 30:41Speaker 1: Oh? I thought it was like five hundred if it's
- 30:43Speaker 1: only twenty, he may have an approach you don't even
- 30:45Speaker 1: know about exactly a kid these days all kinds of
- 30:48Speaker 1: exactly dude, all.
- 30:49Speaker 3: Right, let's do it.
- 30:50Speaker 1: So how much would I need to pay?
- 30:53Speaker 3: I mean I think the cheapest I've seen is probably
- 30:56Speaker 3: seventy dollars.
- 30:57Speaker 1: If I give you both seventy dollars, stud Yes, okay,
- 31:01Speaker 1: but what we'd have to do is time it out right.
- 31:05Speaker 1: Then I wouldn't want you cooking it, putting in the
- 31:08Speaker 1: fridge overnight, bringing it in.
- 31:10Speaker 6: Yeah, you gotta have it fresh.
- 31:12Speaker 3: Well, that's kind of that's tough.
- 31:14Speaker 1: Yeah, that is tough.
- 31:14Speaker 3: That's tough. But what we can do is we can
- 31:17Speaker 3: have it like next Monday. Is what were you thinking?
- 31:21Speaker 3: Were we smoking on Sunday? I think a one day
- 31:23Speaker 3: rest is good.
- 31:25Speaker 1: Yeah. The only thing is what about Thursday or Friday?
- 31:30Speaker 3: Thursdays are tough for me. Usually have like a game
- 31:33Speaker 3: on Thursday night or something.
- 31:34Speaker 1: Kevin, don't you just put it in?
- 31:36Speaker 5: No?
- 31:36Speaker 3: No, see, that's what he's.
- 31:40Speaker 1: He takes the easy one. The pellet's the easy one.
- 31:42Speaker 3: No, man, you got to monitor that baby. You gotta see.
- 31:44Speaker 1: You can literally download an app and controlled on your app.
- 31:46Speaker 3: No, no, it's not that you have to check it and
- 31:48Speaker 3: you gotta spray it. You got to put stuff on
- 31:50Speaker 3: it as it cooks. Hey, he doesn't know.
- 31:53Speaker 1: Okay, here's what I want to do, Eddie. Seventy five
- 31:58Speaker 1: bucks coming to you. Now, we're gonna have so much meat, Kevin. Ye,
- 32:08Speaker 1: I'm making the thumbnail right now, Kevin. Okay, Satday five bucks.
- 32:12Speaker 3: You bought yours for how much? Eighty eighty five? Okay?
- 32:15Speaker 3: All right?
- 32:17Speaker 1: Boom do they have to buy from the same place
- 32:20Speaker 1: now they have the money to get whatever they want
- 32:22Speaker 1: to us, right.
- 32:23Speaker 3: Because that's because that's important the meeting.
- 32:25Speaker 1: I've given you both Sunday five dollars next Monday.
- 32:28Speaker 6: Okay.
- 32:30Speaker 1: Even if you have to do it on Saturday, that's it.
- 32:32Speaker 1: Or Friday, that's your own thing. It has to sit.
- 32:35Speaker 3: But for Monday, it's gonna be.
- 32:36Speaker 1: Right for Monday. Now, I don't want to know who's what, dude.
- 32:40Speaker 3: I'm like, man, I can put that overnight Sunday night.
- 32:45Speaker 3: This could be good, this could be this is a
- 32:46Speaker 3: lot of fun.
- 32:47Speaker 1: Did your family think it was?
- 32:48Speaker 3: Oh?
- 32:49Speaker 4: I loved it.
- 32:49Speaker 6: My father in law, I mean talk about brownie points.
- 32:52Speaker 6: He was like, Kevin, this is really I.
- 32:54Speaker 1: Want you to rate her again. I was. I wasn't
- 32:59Speaker 1: convinced you or the person, but now let me pay
- 33:01Speaker 1: your mortgage.
- 33:03Speaker 6: Pop out another kid, would you?
- 33:05Speaker 1: I saw your baby take a bite, like did you see?
- 33:08Speaker 4: Well?
- 33:08Speaker 6: He yeah, I'm sorry, yes, thank you dude.
- 33:13Speaker 1: Yeah. In the video you can see he looks up
- 33:15Speaker 1: on me like that's really good. It's like, I love
- 33:18Speaker 1: you now, Dad, and.
- 33:18Speaker 6: Bobby's gonna do the same thing. You don't sit and
- 33:21Speaker 6: forget though I don't setting.
- 33:23Speaker 3: For you monitor forget it.
- 33:25Speaker 1: I mean, is this like American versus Mexico, like to
- 33:27Speaker 1: have brisket Olympics? This is a World Cup?
- 33:31Speaker 3: Although are you American? Irish?
- 33:33Speaker 1: Like?
- 33:33Speaker 3: Who do you claim?
- 33:34Speaker 1: Oh?
- 33:34Speaker 6: America?

- 35:08Speaker 1: Who's gonna win it?
- 35:11Speaker 3: Who knows? Man Scheffler, I don't know. More he hasn't
- 35:15Speaker 3: been playing well lately though Scheffler is not so don't
- 35:18Speaker 3: matter though going to the Masters, I think so. Momentum, Yeah,
- 35:23Speaker 3: Chefer's the favorite. Plus four ten, Rory probably the second favorite. Third, okay,
- 35:28Speaker 3: so second who maybe a live guy.
- 35:31Speaker 1: See if you can do I have the top ten,
- 35:33Speaker 1: Let's see how many you get. Go ahead, you got
- 35:35Speaker 1: Scottie Rory, Gotti Rory, he's at three.
- 35:39Speaker 3: I'll go more Kawa he's got to be on there.
- 35:41Speaker 1: Marikawa is at ten.
- 35:45Speaker 3: We'll probably go John Ram at two plus.
- 35:48Speaker 1: Eight fifty gen Ram. I find it so hard to
- 35:51Speaker 1: bet on golf. I never win, especially early.
- 35:53Speaker 4: I've won.
- 35:53Speaker 1: If I'm betting day three, going into fours, that's how
- 35:56Speaker 1: you do it, like.
- 35:57Speaker 6: A top ten finish maybe.
- 35:59Speaker 3: Although although yesterday JJ spawn came from like fifteenth and
- 36:02Speaker 3: won it. So that's a payday, dude. If you can
- 36:05Speaker 3: catch someone like that coming from the fifteenth spot to
- 36:08Speaker 3: come back and win it.
- 36:10Speaker 6: I've never even heard of that guy.
- 36:11Speaker 3: Toy Span he won the US Open.
- 36:13Speaker 1: I think, dude, I'm telling you, I don't follow golf
- 36:16Speaker 1: close enough to know the randoms that win. Yeah, like, yes,
- 36:21Speaker 1: I'm on it. The majors. I'm in and I probably
- 36:24Speaker 1: watched some of him, but I don't remember him.
- 36:26Speaker 3: Yeah, Okay, you still going, yeah you well, you only
- 36:29Speaker 3: got four Matsuyama no strike one okay? Oh oh, Dishambou.
- 36:38Speaker 1: Number four, bryceon Deshambeau.
- 36:41Speaker 3: Let's see, um, I said, more car already. How about
- 36:53Speaker 3: Brooks Koepka, no one, more strike okay? Because there is
- 36:58Speaker 3: some like no namers, like didn't have name, but now
- 37:02Speaker 3: they have like they've won a little bit.
- 37:03Speaker 1: I've heard of all these people you have. Yeah, there's
- 37:06Speaker 1: only one that I probably I would say that I'm
- 37:10Speaker 1: lying about that I hadn't heard of him, but I
- 37:13Speaker 1: think I have heard of him, but I don't know.
- 37:15Speaker 1: There's only one that's in that world though.
- 37:17Speaker 3: Okay, Tommy fleetwood yep number eight, it's tough, I say,
- 37:24Speaker 3: Rory already.
- 37:25Speaker 1: Yeah. Ok And you also said Scheffler.
- 37:27Speaker 3: Okay, let's go with Speith. You got six, nah, because
- 37:33Speaker 3: I mean he hasn't been playing well either.
- 37:34Speaker 1: Get six.
- 37:35Speaker 3: Oh, Justin Thomas, he's in there.
- 37:37Speaker 1: No, No, Xander Shoffley. Oh yeah, this is the one
- 37:42Speaker 1: I didn't know, but I think I might know. Is
- 37:45Speaker 1: Ludwig Aberg Yeah, Oberg, Yeah, this is Swedish.
- 37:50Speaker 3: But he played a tech Texas tech.
- 37:53Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I don't know. Cameron Young, he's a live guy.
- 37:57Speaker 3: No, no, he's not Cameron Young. Sorry, I think Camera Smith.
- 37:59Speaker 1: Tommy Fleetwood, Matt Fitzpatrick. Yeah, he played for the Bills.
- 38:04Speaker 7: Right, big big beards, Ryan Right, yeah, yeah, and okay,
- 38:12Speaker 7: you never been in the Master's Huh, No you've been.
- 38:15Speaker 1: Yeah, how was that cool? Well, it's a different experience.
- 38:18Speaker 1: We were like at a house on the course. Yeah,
- 38:21Speaker 1: well it's just a different experience. So it's cool to go,
- 38:24Speaker 1: but it's it's you don't really see a lot unless
- 38:28Speaker 1: you get in one place because you can rush out
- 38:30Speaker 1: with that chair and you put it there, even if
- 38:32Speaker 1: you're not sitting in it. It stays there. But you go
- 38:34Speaker 1: and if you're sitting in one place, you can see stuff.
- 38:36Speaker 1: But if you're like following somebody fans, it's hard to see.
- 38:38Speaker 3: The golf ball because there's so many people and it's
- 38:41Speaker 3: hard to see the golf ball just in general.
- 38:43Speaker 1: Yeah, I just imagine you're standing, you know, with ninety
- 38:47Speaker 1: other people trying to get a good spot from a fairway.
- 38:50Speaker 1: It's hard for me to see my own ball.
- 38:51Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying. To be fair, you never see
- 38:53Speaker 3: your ball to.
- 38:54Speaker 1: Yeah, so it's hard to see the ball. Where I
- 38:56Speaker 1: found it was the most fun was like sitting on
- 38:58Speaker 1: a green and then watching them one by one on
- 39:01Speaker 1: a part three. Yeah, that was the most fun. But
- 39:03Speaker 1: you can do the lottery.
- 39:05Speaker 3: Yeah, I just I mean, I don't know. I think
- 39:09Speaker 3: the whole process of getting to Georgia and like doing
- 39:13Speaker 3: all that's gonna be a lot because I don't want
- 39:15Speaker 3: to be there Sunday right then you got to leave,
- 39:17Speaker 3: got work on the Monday in the morning.
- 39:18Speaker 1: That's a once in a lifetime type thing. Yeah.
- 39:22Speaker 3: Yeah, but I do enjoy watching on TV, like I
- 39:24Speaker 3: love it.
- 39:25Speaker 1: Yes, but it's like a super Bowl, like you want
- 39:26Speaker 1: to go once so you can go.
- 39:28Speaker 3: How beautiful is it?
- 39:29Speaker 5: Is?
- 39:29Speaker 3: It so pretty? It's like grass so green?
- 39:30Speaker 1: It looks fake. Really, yeah, it looks fake.
- 39:33Speaker 3: Are you able to walk on the grass? Yeah, like
- 39:37Speaker 3: brossa fairway or something.
- 39:39Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean you kind of have free unless the
- 39:42Speaker 1: ribbons are up, so I don't know if you can
- 39:44Speaker 1: walk on all of them all the time. But there
- 39:47Speaker 1: are certain places where you can walk through for sure.
- 39:49Speaker 1: But I don't remember. It's it's been a while and
- 39:51Speaker 1: people say the food's cheap. It's very cheap, Like the
- 39:55Speaker 1: beer is like cheap cheap. No phones though, can't have
- 39:57Speaker 1: any phones out.
- 39:58Speaker 3: What do they do with your phone?
- 39:58Speaker 1: You pum in your pocket?
- 40:00Speaker 3: Oh, okay, so you can keep it. You just don't
- 40:01Speaker 3: pull it out then.
- 40:02Speaker 1: But if you pull your phone out, you get kicked out.
- 40:05Speaker 1: That's so you don't see a phone, because that's not
- 40:08Speaker 1: worth getting kicked out. But everybody's wearing golf clothes like
- 40:11Speaker 1: they're playing, which is weird.
- 40:13Speaker 6: Right, I'll talk about that before. It's like the one
- 40:15Speaker 6: sport where people dressed like people playing.
- 40:17Speaker 1: You ever see the ais of like coaches if they
- 40:20Speaker 1: had to dress like baseball does?
- 40:21Speaker 3: I love it?
- 40:22Speaker 1: So baseball managers wear the oh yeah, the uniform or
- 40:25Speaker 1: it's like basketball coaches they have to wear the basket.
- 40:29Speaker 1: That would be fun. The football players they have to
- 40:31Speaker 1: wear the jerseys.
- 40:31Speaker 6: The coaches have a jersey. I love that, Like what
- 40:40Speaker 6: coach like Mike McDaniel. He's not a head coach anymore,
- 40:42Speaker 6: but somebody like that in a full football uniform.
- 40:46Speaker 3: I feel like Andy Reid was one that they did.
- 40:49Speaker 1: Okay, it was really funny, Like the older and fatter
- 40:51Speaker 1: they are, the funnier it is. Yeah, so all right,
- 40:55Speaker 1: that's it. Anything else to add.
- 40:57Speaker 3: Eddie, Yeah, just the the Lebron thing, like the whole
- 41:01Speaker 3: video that comes out of him in the golf course.
- 41:02Speaker 1: Well, he didn't start it, so Dramons Draymon Green started it.
- 41:05Speaker 1: He's like, they didn't move that team from Memphis to Nashville.
- 41:08Speaker 1: And so then Lebron's talking about it and he's like,
- 41:09Speaker 1: we hate that hotel.
- 41:12Speaker 3: He was like, I was forty one years old, man,
- 41:13Speaker 3: I'm not gonna move to Memphis.
- 41:16Speaker 6: Yeah, and then all these clips are coming out to
- 41:18Speaker 6: everyone just backs in Memphis.
- 41:20Speaker 1: Memphis kind of sucks.
- 41:21Speaker 6: Oh yeah, we don't know that too.
- 41:23Speaker 3: I like Memphis, you really do.
- 41:25Speaker 1: You just have been there, like in a good place
- 41:29Speaker 1: at the right time.
- 41:30Speaker 3: I've never lived there, to be fair, but like.
- 41:32Speaker 1: If you ever randomly stopped by a restaurant and just
- 41:34Speaker 1: hung out, I have got robbed twice and my car broken.
- 41:37Speaker 3: In but It was the same on Guard, wasn't it.
- 41:38Speaker 1: I thought it'd be better.
- 41:41Speaker 3: You didn't learn the first like when we went.
- 41:43Speaker 1: For Saint Jude and stay over two days, Like that's
- 41:45Speaker 1: nice because you're in a nice hotel. Everything is kind
- 41:49Speaker 1: of yeah safe, and you don't leave the hotel. Yeah.
- 41:54Speaker 3: Yeah, anyway, I thought that was funny.
- 41:57Speaker 1: It was funny. I feel bad for Memphis, Like I
- 41:59Speaker 1: don't like people from Memphis. I don't much like going
- 42:02Speaker 1: to Memphis. So anything from you, Kevin, No.
- 42:05Speaker 6: I'm ready for the cookoff man.
- 42:07Speaker 1: Oh, so what is it up, dude? Next Monday?
- 42:10Speaker 3: You got it?
- 42:11Speaker 1: Yeah, next Monday.
- 42:13Speaker 6: Wait, is there like a winner loser prize or anything
- 42:15Speaker 6: or no?
- 42:16Speaker 1: Yeah, the winners year to win the champion. I've already
- 42:19Speaker 1: had to pay one hundred and fifty dollars. I'm just
- 42:21Speaker 1: saying he wants me to go buy a trophy for
- 42:23Speaker 1: you guys. I'm not going to know who it is judge. No, No,
- 42:27Speaker 1: here's how you know it's honesty. I'm not gonna know
- 42:29Speaker 1: who's just who?
- 42:29Speaker 3: Okay, are you going to be the only judge or
- 42:31Speaker 3: Mike and Brandon.
- 42:32Speaker 1: I'm paying for it, so I'm gonna be the only Joe,
- 42:34Speaker 1: Mike definitely can't be a judge. Yeah, you can't meat.
- 42:36Speaker 3: Well, that's true, that's true. You want barbecue sauce to No,
- 42:39Speaker 3: you can probably get some barbecue, can't. You can do
- 42:42Speaker 3: whatever he wants, Kevin. Don't tell him what he.
- 42:44Speaker 6: Can because that's that's what you taste instead of your meat.
- 42:46Speaker 6: He tastes some barbecue. No, no, even after I'm just saying,
- 42:48Speaker 6: at least want the first bite, no barbecue.
- 42:50Speaker 1: Here's the question, Bobby, what do you want exactly? I
- 42:53Speaker 1: can agree with that, Kevin, because I might eat some
- 42:56Speaker 1: with barbecue sauce after. But I think if we're just
- 42:58Speaker 1: going off meat, I think I should just have to
- 43:00Speaker 1: meat in my mouth. Braw. Oh my nice. That's what
- 43:03Speaker 1: we should call it. The meat meat, meat in my mouth,
- 43:08Speaker 1: beat my mouth challenge.
- 43:12Speaker 3: That's gonna be good, be real good. You can do
- 43:16Speaker 3: the barky sauce on the side.
- 43:18Speaker 1: We No, I can do it afterward, and I eat
- 43:19Speaker 1: take all my meat home with me.
- 43:21Speaker 3: Well, you're gonna take it all, well, not pay for
- 43:22Speaker 3: it all. You can do whatever you want with it now.
- 43:26Speaker 1: I'll let you guys take most of it back home,
- 43:28Speaker 1: but I'll be honest because I'm not gonna know whoses.
- 43:30Speaker 3: Okay, I like that?
- 43:31Speaker 1: Good? Yeah? Man?
- 43:32Speaker 3: You want bread, you want loaf for bread to it?
- 43:35Speaker 6: You want a slad, sausage, macon teese, bread, cracker, barrel sides.
- 43:41Speaker 1: I think now we're talking, I think we just should
- 43:45Speaker 1: do meat.
- 43:45Speaker 3: Just me in your mouth.
- 43:47Speaker 1: It's the meat in my mouth challenge.
- 43:49Speaker 3: All right, you got it.
- 43:50Speaker 1: Okay, we'll just do that. But for lunch, maybe some
- 43:55Speaker 1: fried okra, you know there's some corn.
