Latest / International Flavor: Where the Truth Tastes Better / Sanction Day: Russia, Workarounds, Bureaucratic Overreach, and the Global Market Fighting Back
Transcript
- 0:00Hello, good morning.
- 0:01Welcome.
- 0:02I am Samuel Trapp coming to you live
- 0:05from the Lake Ozark Real Estate of the
- 0:06Arts studio on this fantabulous, fantastical June
- 0:1511th day.
- 0:20Where are we today?
- 0:22There's so much going on.
- 0:23I'm having a hard time even putting things
- 0:27together.
- 0:27There was a dude, an Israeli MP, who
- 0:31has a cool little hat that took an
- 0:34electric saw to a school gate in an
- 0:38Arabic town.
- 0:39He's a far right lawmaker.
- 0:41His name is Zvai Sutak.
- 0:43Zvai Sutak.
- 0:45No, Sukot.
- 0:46Sukot.
- 0:46Zvai Sukot.
- 0:48Sparked chaos in Tuba, Zangaria after being denied
- 0:52entry into this facility.
- 0:54He just took a saw to it and
- 0:58cut it apart.
- 1:01Very nice.
- 1:04We have a lot of people commenting on
- 1:07a lot of things.
- 1:10There was a Mira Andreeva tennis player who
- 1:16was telling us that she's a teenage sensation
- 1:21and started thinking about what comes next.
- 1:26Her demons tried to get in her way.
- 1:30She spent most of her young career being
- 1:34talked about as the future of women's tennis.
- 1:37She arrived early at age 19.
- 1:41This Russian girl won Roland Garros, claimed her
- 1:45first Grand Slam title and moved to the
- 1:47top of the season's points race, all while
- 1:50sounding less like a player overwhelmed by the
- 1:54moment than one trying to understand what comes
- 1:57next.
- 1:57I watched her interview.
- 1:59She's very, very well spoken and was very
- 2:05pragmatic about it.
- 2:08They even asked her about not being able
- 2:13to have a Russian flag there.
- 2:18She talked about her inner demons.
- 2:21I told her a little bit about this.
- 2:24It was an interesting interview that she gave,
- 2:28and I liked it.
- 2:29She has moved to first points in the
- 2:32racking.
- 2:36Here's the last question.
- 2:37Before you, only three Russian women managed to
- 2:42win Grand Slam singles titles.
- 2:44Anastasia Miskina, Maria Sharapova, and Svetlana Kuznetsova.
- 2:50Do you feel a connection?
- 2:52I remember Maria Sharapova and Svetlana Kuznetsova used
- 2:57to watch them play tennis.
- 2:59Tennis is very interesting to watch, but somehow
- 3:01I'm not as interested in it with men.
- 3:03No, it's not the skirts, but there's a
- 3:07benefit to that, too.
- 3:09The fact is that women's tennis is more
- 3:15interesting to me than men's.
- 3:16I don't know why.
- 3:17It just is.
- 3:19I forget the U.S. sisters that were
- 3:23so freaking awesome that played for the longest
- 3:27time and dominated everything.
- 3:29I'm very poor with names.
- 3:32She talked about these women, and Mira Andreyeva
- 3:36said, I know all three of these women
- 3:38personally.
- 3:39I've watched their matches loads of times.
- 3:42My mom used to tell me how she
- 3:44used to cheer on Nastya, Masha, and Sveta
- 3:47back in the day.
- 3:49It still feels strange to realize that I'm
- 3:53in the same position as them, but it
- 3:56means the world to me.
- 4:01That's pretty cool.
- 4:03You can't show the Russian flag anywhere in
- 4:08sports these days, which I think is bullshit,
- 4:10pardon my French, but it's just crap.
- 4:14Why are we demonizing an entire people when
- 4:19you really only have trouble with Vladimir Putin
- 4:22and his crowd?
- 4:23It's nonsense.
- 4:24You wouldn't allow that anywhere else.
- 4:27You can't say because you don't like Martin
- 4:32Luther King, for example, that all black people
- 4:36are demons.
- 4:37That's just BS.
- 4:38It's a stupid argument, just like it's stupid
- 4:42to say that all Russians are horrible, just
- 4:45because you mistakenly think that Vladimir Putin is
- 4:50horrible.
- 4:51He's doing what he wants for his country.
- 4:53I mean, a lot of the world thinks,
- 4:54I mean, would you take it the other
- 4:56way around?
- 4:57Donald Trump's an evil asshole.
- 4:59Okay, that therefore means all Americans are the
- 5:04same.
- 5:04No, all of Alma Kogan is dead, but
- 5:07only some of the class of dead people
- 5:10are Alma Kogan.
- 5:12This is the logistical framing of a proposition.
- 5:15Logic controls, and there's no logic in the
- 5:20arguments against all Russians or Vladimir Putin's a
- 5:24bastard, so-and-so's a Russian, therefore he
- 5:27too is a bastard.
- 5:28What?
- 5:29Did you go to logic class?
- 5:30I actually took a logic class in college,
- 5:33Quincy University, Quincy, Illinois, 1984, I think it
- 5:37was.
- 5:38And I was like, man, and you had
- 5:41to analyze propositions like that all day long.
- 5:44And the professor, it was a Catholic college,
- 5:46and so some professor, what was his name?
- 5:48Father Aaron or something like that.
- 5:51Well, you know what?
- 5:52I think he was in a different class.
- 5:53It doesn't matter, but some priest was teaching
- 5:56the class.
- 5:57And I'd go up afterward and go, well,
- 6:01you're talking about this class of dead people
- 6:03in the proposition that you send to us.
- 6:07So the proposition is that, like I said,
- 6:10all of Alma Kogan is dead, this class
- 6:12of Alma Kogan is dead, so-and-so
- 6:15is Alma Kogan, therefore he must be dead.
- 6:20Well, I guess that doesn't really work.
- 6:23And so you have to figure out how
- 6:24your analytical propositions get in there.
- 6:26It was a very fun class, and it
- 6:27was on an analytic thinking.
- 6:30You ought to buy some of these on
- 6:32analytic equations, analytic propositions, because it's like the
- 6:36eternal word problem.
- 6:37I always enjoyed word problems in school, and
- 6:40most kids hated them.
- 6:41You got this long paragraph, and at the
- 6:43end, you're supposed to figure out what time
- 6:46the train arrives in Timbuktu.
- 6:49The train left it here, it stopped here,
- 6:51picked up so-and-so, and they give
- 6:53you all this crap that has nothing to
- 6:54do with it, and you got to pull
- 6:55out the stuff that has something to do
- 6:57with it in your question.
- 6:58Those are fun, and they cause you to
- 7:00think.
- 7:01And then you have logic problems.
- 7:03I don't know.
- 7:03You used to buy those logic puzzle books.
- 7:05Have you ever looked at those, and they
- 7:06give you the if-then propositions?
- 7:08You go through them.
- 7:09If you're interested in that kind of thing,
- 7:11buy a damn logic book, but don't listen
- 7:13to the fact that just because you wave
- 7:15a Russian flag means you need to be
- 7:17a bastard or that you're hated.
- 7:19It's bullshit.
- 7:20Bad propositions all the way around.
- 7:23So I don't allow that on this show.
- 7:25Oh, let's talk about Jim for a minute.
- 7:28Jim gets to call up and say, all
- 7:30the other people are, what does he say?
- 7:33What did he call me the other day?
- 7:35Oh, yeah.
- 7:36Everybody else is a bigot on that channel.
- 7:38Therefore, you're a bigot.
- 7:39What?
- 7:40It just makes no sense.
- 7:43If you're going to call up and have
- 7:44a proposition, at least have a logical proposition
- 7:47or be able to back it up.
- 7:50Remember, all of Alma Kogan is dead, but
- 7:53only some of the class of dead people
- 7:55are Alma Kogan.
- 7:58So there you go.
- 7:59There you have it.
- 8:00And we've talked about the Russian teenage sensation
- 8:02who plays tennis and was not able to
- 8:06carry the Russian flag, but was very pragmatic
- 8:08about it in her interview.
- 8:10I will let you watch that on your
- 8:11own.
- 8:12You can find it on YouTube.
- 8:15But keep an eye on this 19 year
- 8:17old Mira Andreeva, because I do believe that
- 8:21is not going to be her only Grand
- 8:28Slam title.
- 8:29That's just her first.
- 8:31And she going to keep on playing.
- 8:34So life is good.
- 8:36Let's keep going here.
- 8:37Where are we going today?
- 8:38I have some things that I wished to
- 8:42discuss today that let's begin at the beginning,
- 8:47because that's a very fine place to start.
- 8:50When you read, you begin with ABC.
- 8:54And when you sing, if your last name
- 8:56is Trap, you begin with Do-Re-Mi.
- 9:01Isn't that correct, Maria von Trapp?
- 9:06We're going to look at a little bit
- 9:10of a deep sanctions idiocy, because yesterday, this
- 9:17is great.
- 9:18It's now a new sanction day for us.
- 9:22The European Union, led by some of the
- 9:26greats in political thinking, oh my god, they're
- 9:29just dumb as boxes of rocks, in my
- 9:32humble opinion.
- 9:34Maybe they should go to Quincy University in
- 9:37Quincy, Illinois.
- 9:38Should go to a logic class taught by
- 9:41a professor who's a Catholic priest.
- 9:44Maybe they should go do that to get
- 9:46a little bit more of a basis on
- 9:48their argument on their sanctions.
- 9:50So we wish to review it.
- 9:53Let's call this show, then, Sanction Day.
- 9:5621st package of sanctions and the rituals involved,
- 10:01the religious almost, rituals involved in economic warfare.
- 10:07Let us go straight to the source of
- 10:10the wondrous news that the 21st sanctions package
- 10:14is coming, and Russia should take notice.
- 10:18And all the evil doers, you know, remember,
- 10:20old Vladimir Putin is Russian, and therefore, we
- 10:25must hate all Russians, right?
- 10:27That's your logical leap of today, brought to
- 10:30you by damradio.com forward slash live and
- 10:36Samuel Trapp, live from the Lake Ozark Real
- 10:40Estate of the Art Studio.
- 10:41Please feel free to phone in and stop
- 10:43me at 573-746-8020 should you feel
- 10:48the urge, and you have anything logical to
- 10:52say that can be based on a foundation,
- 10:56something that is, you know, truth, or at
- 10:58least the allegation of truth that you're able
- 11:00to outline your position, I would challenge and
- 11:04love it.
- 11:05You know, maybe somebody like Catherine Hannaway saying
- 11:08whether or not a machine found in one
- 11:11building is, therefore, and judged to be by
- 11:17Judge Ross in the Eastern District, a machine
- 11:20that is illegal, how that possibly equates to
- 11:23any other machine in any other location and
- 11:26inside any other town with any other contract
- 11:30in the state of Missouri.
- 11:32Join me tomorrow on Civic Outlaws from 7
- 11:35to 830 to go through that ridiculous argument.
- 11:40That'll be fun though, but she'll never call.
- 11:42These people never call.
- 11:43They don't have to justify their positions.
- 11:45They have a very targeted propaganda thing that
- 11:48they get up, spout off their bullet point
- 11:51list, and then leave.
- 11:54Remember, when I was in the army, this
- 11:56is how you get away with doing nothing
- 11:59in the army or in any government service,
- 12:02okay?
- 12:03What you do is they identify a problem,
- 12:06or you come in, and somebody asks you
- 12:08a question.
- 12:09You never have to answer with the truth.
- 12:11All you got to do is confuse the
- 12:13issue.
- 12:13So first thing you do is deny everything.
- 12:16Wasn't me.
- 12:17I didn't do it.
- 12:18Number two, you make counter accusations.
- 12:20You know, I think old Sergeant Jim Bob
- 12:23over here in the supply department, I think
- 12:25he has information about it.
- 12:27Nothing clear.
- 12:28Third, be as vague as possible.
- 12:30Vagueness carries the day.
- 12:31This is political success 101 for you.
- 12:35Be as vague as possible.
- 12:36And number four, split.
- 12:37Leave the scene.
- 12:38Get the hell out of there.
- 12:39You know, you confuse them, and you baffle
- 12:41them with bullshit, and you leave.
- 12:43So the first thing, remember this, these are
- 12:46keys to being a good politician.
- 12:48Maybe Ike should be in here.
- 12:49I could be teaching Ike how to do
- 12:50this.
- 12:50Number one, deny everything.
- 12:52Number two, make counter accusations.
- 12:54Number three, be as vague as possible.
- 12:57And number four, leave the scene.
- 12:59Deny everything.
- 13:01Counter accusations.
- 13:04Vagueness.
- 13:05Leave.
- 13:05Split.
- 13:06Okay?
- 13:07Those four things, and you can be a
- 13:09successful politician.
- 13:11Okay?
- 13:11They all do it.
- 13:12That's exactly what they do.
- 13:14Watch it.
- 13:14Listen and learn.
- 13:16You know, that has developed over years, watching
- 13:18Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton and all the
- 13:20scandal that they live.
- 13:21And you can take anybody there, Marco Rubio,
- 13:25watch him sit in front of the Senate
- 13:27committee on money.
- 13:29Okay?
- 13:29And say, man, justify for us this $1
- 13:31.5 billion that you wish to spend on
- 13:34the military.
- 13:35And he says, that's not true.
- 13:37Part of that is something else.
- 13:40That's number one.
- 13:41Deny everything.
- 13:41Number two, counter accusations.
- 13:43And you know, Iran over here, they're the
- 13:46real problem.
- 13:47And why aren't we studying Iran?
- 13:48And we have a special item, an additional
- 13:50item in the budget of another $200 billion
- 13:53that we're asking for that.
- 13:54And you know, let's talk about that for
- 13:56a minute.
- 13:57Number three, let's be as vague as possible.
- 13:58Because he never does answer the question about
- 14:01what the budget of $1.5 trillion represents.
- 14:04He doesn't have to do that.
- 14:05Number four, he leaves the scene and says,
- 14:07you know, I realize here in the Senate,
- 14:09you only each get three minutes or five
- 14:11minutes or whatever I see back my time
- 14:14to the floor and I got to go
- 14:16have another appointment with the president, got another
- 14:19issue.
- 14:19It's exactly what you do.
- 14:20So you're so important that you never have
- 14:23to answer the question.
- 14:24So, and you do the same thing.
- 14:26This is success.
- 14:27And I saw many a sergeant, you become
- 14:29a sergeant major or a first sergeant or
- 14:32a command sergeant major that they got.
- 14:35That's how they moved up the lines.
- 14:37And in officer corps, it's even better.
- 14:40Their silence and disappearance.
- 14:42And you can always blame your sergeant down
- 14:44below.
- 14:45Wasn't me, sir.
- 14:46But let me get with Sergeant Trap here.
- 14:49I'm sure he might have the answer and
- 14:51I'll get back with you later.
- 14:52But I got to go.
- 14:53I have an appointment, got to go to
- 14:55the doctor and get my knee checked because
- 14:57we have the big run tomorrow.
- 14:58And then everything is done.
- 15:00You haven't answered a question.
- 15:01You haven't done a thing.
- 15:02That is politics.
- 15:03That is success in today's government service.
- 15:07Okay.
- 15:07So we're going to talk about sanctions and
- 15:09the success of sanctions and Ursula von der
- 15:12Leyen and Kayakolas and these geniuses over there
- 15:15and their attacks on the Russian thing.
- 15:17It's all the same bureaucracy.
- 15:19This is what the bureaucracy that we are
- 15:21talking about today is fantastic.
- 15:22It's all over the planet.
- 15:24It's no longer just your Sergeant Corps and
- 15:27the 522nd Military Intelligence Battalion of the 2nd
- 15:31Armed Division at Fort Hood, Texas, which is
- 15:33where I learned all of these wonderful things.
- 15:35It was a lot of fun.
- 15:37So the 21st package, the ritual of warfare
- 15:41and the denial of anything logical.
- 15:44These are the things we're discussing today.
- 15:47The correction is this.
- 15:49As of the latest official EU Council sanctions
- 15:53timeline, the EU has adopted, already has formally
- 15:58adopted, 20 full Russian sanctions packages.
- 16:03The 21st package has been proposed just recently.
- 16:07Last few days, proposed, unveiled.
- 16:10Here's what we're going to do next, people.
- 16:12We got another sanctions package.
- 16:14We're going to beat up on those Russians.
- 16:16And, you know, we hate all Russians.
- 16:18And now we got tennis players winning Grand
- 16:21Slam titles.
- 16:22Oh, geez.
- 16:23What is the world coming to?
- 16:25We're not going to let her carry a
- 16:26flag because that is the sanction.
- 16:28And maybe we should sanction her personally because
- 16:30I'm sure she made a lot of money
- 16:32on that.
- 16:32And therefore, she shouldn't be able to put
- 16:34it in a bank or travel anywhere or
- 16:37do anything.
- 16:37Why?
- 16:38Because she happened to have been born in
- 16:40Russia.
- 16:42And then, you know, and you know what
- 16:44goes on in Russia.
- 16:45Putin's over there.
- 16:46Therefore, all Russians are evil and need to
- 16:50be stopped.
- 16:52OK, that's what has to happen.
- 16:54These are the logic of the of the
- 16:56EU sanction crowd.
- 16:59OK, the council's own page lists the 20th
- 17:05package that just entered into force on April
- 17:09the 23rd of 2026.
- 17:12They haven't updated their website yet.
- 17:14So what is this proposed 21st package of
- 17:19sanctions?
- 17:19OK, the proposed 21st EU sanction packages is
- 17:24so great.
- 17:26Russian oil revenue.
- 17:27We have to go after Russian oil revenue.
- 17:30We stole 300 billion from them and we
- 17:32won't let them touch it.
- 17:33We stole the interest and we say they
- 17:35can't have it until they make reparations to
- 17:38the Ukrainian motherland because there was no Russian
- 17:42motherland.
- 17:43It's always been Ukraine.
- 17:45Where do you think Kyivskaya Rus' come from,
- 17:47you morons?
- 17:48Kyivskaya Rus' came from where?
- 17:50Kyiv.
- 17:51The fact that they relocated in the 16th,
- 17:5317th century over to Moscow doesn't make any
- 17:57difference.
- 17:57And the fact that Ukraine means Ukraine at
- 18:01the edge, they're on the edge, that means
- 18:03basically frontier would be a good word.
- 18:06They are the frontier of what?
- 18:08The Russian Empire.
- 18:10That's what they are.
- 18:12And so that's how it happened.
- 18:14And so now they claim that instead, you
- 18:19know, and if, by the way, that logic
- 18:21doesn't work either.
- 18:22If Kyivskaya Rus' is the real Rus' and
- 18:26they're the Russians, we should be hating them,
- 18:29not the people that ran off to Moscow,
- 18:32right?
- 18:33I don't know.
- 18:34Could be curious.
- 18:35So they're attacking oil revenue by freezing the
- 18:38current oil price cap.
- 18:41Price caps are important so that Russia doesn't
- 18:44benefit from the now much higher prices globally
- 18:48of oil.
- 18:50So the U.S. comes in and blows
- 18:52up Iran since we're on logic paths and
- 18:55making logical connections.
- 18:57U.S. comes in, blows up Iran, freezes
- 19:00all the stuff.
- 19:01Rubio says, we stopping those Iranians from getting
- 19:05their stuff through our blockade.
- 19:07And they aren't letting anybody else.
- 19:09So therefore, nobody's getting through the straits of
- 19:12Hormuz.
- 19:13International territory, we had that yesterday, which is
- 19:16another logical leap that, you know, had no
- 19:19foundation.
- 19:21And now what happened?
- 19:24Oil prices went up.
- 19:26Sam's paying $4.20 a gallon instead of
- 19:30$2.39 a gallon as he was in
- 19:33February.
- 19:34So he's a little bitchy.
- 19:35You know, he's a little, he's complaining because
- 19:38of this.
- 19:39And that's unfortunate because it's interfering with my
- 19:43right and my ability to complain on a
- 19:46regular level.
- 19:47And now I have to complain at a
- 19:49higher level.
- 19:50And it's demanding.
- 19:51It's very demanding to complain as much as
- 19:53I do.
- 19:54So let's see.
- 19:55They're also attacking what Russian banks and financial
- 19:59channels like.
- 20:00When I went to Belarus and I was
- 20:03in Belarus and I went to check on
- 20:05my bank account in Russia at Sverbank.
- 20:08And I go in there and I said,
- 20:09can I have some, can I get this
- 20:10in dollars?
- 20:11Can I get, you know, I want to
- 20:12get dollars over here.
- 20:14And oops, knocked over the Trump button.
- 20:18And uh, they couldn't give it to me.
- 20:22And I, and I was like, well, why
- 20:24not?
- 20:24We're in Belarus, by the way.
- 20:26And she goes, she goes, I have to
- 20:28give it to you.
- 20:29Um, she couldn't give me rubles either, not
- 20:33Russian rubles.
- 20:34And I was headed to Moscow.
- 20:35And so I was trying to get some
- 20:37Russian rubles for the train and for whatever.
- 20:40And so I was in Sverbank trying to
- 20:41get that and trade my dollars and they
- 20:43couldn't do it.
- 20:43And they said, I'd have to go to
- 20:45a, whatever other bank, some international bank down
- 20:47the street that I had to go to.
- 20:49And, uh, and I have a, a, a,
- 20:51a, like when you travel in Russia, you
- 20:53have a bank card, you, you go and
- 20:55you put, it's like a, I don't know,
- 20:57like a cash app card.
- 20:58Basically it's a debit card.
- 21:00You put money on the card and mine
- 21:02happens to be at Sverbank.
- 21:04And so I, I go into Sverbank to
- 21:05go get it done and fund my card
- 21:08for my trip and put a bunch of
- 21:10cash on there.
- 21:11And, uh, they couldn't let me, they said
- 21:13I'd have to wait until I got to
- 21:14Moscow and then they could do whatever they
- 21:16wanted because they were under sanctions in, uh,
- 21:19Belarus and, and in Europe.
- 21:21So they target, you know, stupidity like this.
- 21:24And, and, uh, this is part of the
- 21:26sanctions.
- 21:26You know, you can't go to this regulatory
- 21:28bullshit, just like, just like America, just like
- 21:31civic outlaws fights every single day, the EU
- 21:34is putting up these.
- 21:35So the long term of what we're talking
- 21:37about here today on this program are diplomatic,
- 21:41but more importantly, bureaucratic because the EU is
- 21:45nothing but bureaucracy and theft of people's money.
- 21:50Just like here, you know, uh, the, the,
- 21:53the bureaucracy, their only goal is to take
- 21:55your money.
- 21:56Okay.
- 21:56That's it.
- 21:57And, uh, so here they're talking about targeting
- 22:00Russian oil revenue, and then they're talking, uh,
- 22:04Russian banks and financial channels, crypto platforms, and
- 22:07crypto transfer channels.
- 22:09So now they're digging into your crypto and
- 22:12they didn't used to be able to do
- 22:13that.
- 22:13And so I'm very much against this.
- 22:16I would much rather have the free reign
- 22:18worldview of crypto and not this BS where,
- 22:23uh, the U S gets to come in
- 22:25and regulate people's crypto.
- 22:28That's the way you regulate the world going
- 22:30forward.
- 22:30Instead of the dollar, you regulate the crypto
- 22:33because that's coming.
- 22:34And then the so-called shadow fleet.
- 22:37Now, everybody's heard about the shadow fleet.
- 22:39This is number four, uh, the shadow fleet.
- 22:41They want to talk about tankers and maritime
- 22:43networks, okay.
- 22:45Call us in, uh, Ursula von der Leyen.
- 22:47We're talking for a long time about this.
- 22:48And they were smiling and happy.
- 22:50Look what we could do.
- 22:51We could go after more ships, we're seizing
- 22:53more ships.
- 22:54And then here we go.
- 22:54And then more trade restrictions they've included this
- 22:57time in this round.
- 22:58Now they're talking about fish products.
- 23:01You can't buy fish.
- 23:02You can't buy fish.
- 23:03You can't buy metal.
- 23:05You can't buy car parts.
- 23:06You can't buy dual use materials, drone components,
- 23:09aerospace and defense items and entities in third
- 23:12countries.
- 23:13Here's the, here's the big one.
- 23:14Anything from an, any entity in a third
- 23:17country accused of helping Russia evade sanctions and
- 23:23control.
- 23:23So the whole thing is bureaucratic control.
- 23:26So the European commission president, Ursula von der
- 23:30Leyen presented the package on June the 9th,
- 23:32and she's targeting energy finance, crypto trade.
- 23:35And for the first time fish reports are
- 23:39that the package will target 90 Russian banks,
- 23:43crypto supply chain routes.
- 23:46The guardian says that the measures include banning
- 23:49Russian soldiers from entering the EU.
- 23:53So a Russian soldier can no longer enter
- 23:56the EU, which is nuts because Russians have
- 23:58the same rights as everybody else.
- 24:00As far as crossing the borders, you know,
- 24:02there's, you still have to have a visa
- 24:05in many cases, but they're saying they can't
- 24:07come in at all.
- 24:08If you're a Russian soldier, they target banks,
- 24:10crypto oil trade, fish imports.
- 24:12And now they're blacklisting more people.
- 24:15The blacklist is frigging huge.
- 24:17The back of blacklist is so long.
- 24:20It's not even funny.
- 24:21So the, this is not a single sanction.
- 24:24It's what they're doing with sanction 21, just
- 24:27like so many others is they're attempting to
- 24:29close the escape route created in the first
- 24:3220.
- 24:32So they make this one set of sanctions
- 24:34way back when, what do people do?
- 24:37They avoid them, you know, where, where there's
- 24:40money, trust me, they're going to find a
- 24:42way.
- 24:42And that's what they do.
- 24:44They find a way to get through and
- 24:50make the same money that they were going
- 24:53to make before.
- 24:55They make a way to do it.
- 24:58And everybody does it, everybody.
- 25:01And if you are in, we'll get to
- 25:04that in a minute.
- 25:05Let's, let's talk about the oil price cap
- 25:07issue.
- 25:08Why this oil price cap?
- 25:10You might've heard this on the news about,
- 25:12well, we're going to cap the price of
- 25:13oil for Russia at $45 barrel.
- 25:16They're not going to be able to sell
- 25:17those any Russian oil.
- 25:20If Russia is going to sell it, they're
- 25:22not going to be able to make any
- 25:23money doing it.
- 25:25And then they raised the cap to 60.
- 25:27And a lot of people are saying, look,
- 25:28there's a freaking shortage in the world.
- 25:30Screw it, pull it, get rid of this.
- 25:33So the price cap doesn't really mean because
- 25:36what doesn't mean that Brussels gets to tell
- 25:39India, China, Turkey, anybody else that you can't
- 25:44pay Russia more than our price cap, $45
- 25:47barrel, $60 barrel, whatever they say it is.
- 25:51Excuse me.
- 25:51I got a little froggy in the throat.
- 25:54What was I doing eating a frog this
- 25:55morning?
- 25:55I don't know.
- 26:01What am I drinking today?
- 26:02It's not coffee.
- 26:03It is a grape flavored propel drink, zero
- 26:07calories, just so you know.
- 26:10So the EU doesn't have the power to
- 26:13globally tell India you can't pay Russia more
- 26:17than $45 a barrel.
- 26:19What they do, the EU and the G7,
- 26:22is they control all of the services around
- 26:26the barrel.
- 26:28Shipping lanes, big one, very big one, maritime
- 26:32insurance, big time insurance, reinsurance that goes on.
- 26:37You can't pull up to a port in
- 26:39a boat that isn't insured.
- 26:42What if it damages the dock?
- 26:44You can't pull up to any Western thing
- 26:46unless in advance they know you're coming and
- 26:48you've transmitted all your insurance paperwork for everything
- 26:51that is on there and they know where
- 26:53it's coming and whoever is taking that money.
- 26:55And most of the finance and insurance networks
- 26:58have been controlled for generations by Lloyds of
- 27:01London and their ilk.
- 27:04So you have financing, you have brokeraging, you
- 27:07have flagging services and related services.
- 27:10All of these are controlled by the West.
- 27:13And so what they're doing to sanction people
- 27:15is they're saying you can't use these other
- 27:18services.
- 27:19You can't pull up to an EU port
- 27:24without having all of these things in place.
- 27:29So the EU rules and EU operators have
- 27:32to provide maritime transport and services for the
- 27:36crude and petroleum products and they can only
- 27:38do so if the oil is being sold
- 27:41at or below the cap price.
- 27:44So the commission says this mechanism is designed
- 27:47to reduce Russian revenue but it still keeps
- 27:51the global energy market supplied.
- 27:54So everybody else is getting a hundred dollars
- 27:56barrel in London port and they'll still buy
- 27:59Russian oil but they'll only buy it at
- 28:0360 dollars barrel or whatever the price cap
- 28:05is.
- 28:06So the current technical mechanisms come from earlier
- 28:09sanctions.
- 28:10So the EU lowered the crude oil cap
- 28:13from 60 to $47.60 in the 18th
- 28:21package that they did some time ago.
- 28:23We'll get to that in a minute.
- 28:24And then they introduced a dynamic mechanism to
- 28:27keep the cap 15 percent below the average
- 28:31euro mountains crude price during the previous reference
- 28:36period.
- 28:37So on January the 15th the commission said
- 28:39the new cap is 44 dollars and 10
- 28:42cents a barrel effective February 1, 2026.
- 28:45So quarterly they go back and they look
- 28:47at the crude prices for euro oil which
- 28:50euros are in Russia.
- 28:51And so that's where the oil comes from.
- 28:54It's euro crude and the euro crude is
- 28:56going to be priced at blah blah blah
- 28:58and the futures they control and all that
- 29:00other stuff.
- 29:01So those are the effective prices.
- 29:02So the 21st package the new one that
- 29:04they're proposing says that oil prices rose because
- 29:07of the Iranian conflict.
- 29:11But under this dynamic formula that goes up
- 29:13and down you know when they choose it
- 29:15if the euro prices rise the cap could
- 29:18go up too.
- 29:19And so that would let Russia receive more
- 29:21money while still work under the Western cap.
- 29:24Right.
- 29:24So the EU proposal freezes the cap and
- 29:28current mechanism to stop the automatic increases that
- 29:31they input three packages ago.
- 29:34So the freeze is now going to be
- 29:36around 44 dollars and they'll just freeze it
- 29:38at that price so they have no fluctuation
- 29:40because Donald Trump happened to bomb Iran.
- 29:43Okay.
- 29:44And Israel you know can't forget about old
- 29:47old BN Benjamin Netanyahu.
- 29:52So they want to freeze it at the
- 29:5344 in the late 2026 and 2027 and
- 29:56not review the cap on a quarterly basis
- 29:58because that would allow Russia to make money
- 30:00off the oil inside the EU.
- 30:02So what is the EU saying even if
- 30:04the world oil prices rise or spike Russia
- 30:08doesn't get the upside through EU controlled shipping
- 30:12and insurance channels.
- 30:13But the practical weakness is what friends and
- 30:16neighbors.
- 30:17Come on.
- 30:18Come on.
- 30:18Come on.
- 30:19Tell me.
- 30:20Russia can use non-Western shipping.
- 30:22Right.
- 30:23This is the problem.
- 30:24Non-Western insurance which is growing astronomically.
- 30:28They can use shadow fleet vessels.
- 30:32They can trade in the port.
- 30:35They can transfer the oil to another ship
- 30:38in port or before they get to the
- 30:40port and still get the right amount of
- 30:42money.
- 30:43So they ship it.
- 30:44Somebody else unloads then they come out they
- 30:47load it back up and then they go
- 30:48back in.
- 30:49So they come up with clever ways to
- 30:51avoid the sanctions.
- 30:52So it doesn't make you know they can
- 30:54have discounted sales.
- 30:55They can barter where they're not selling it.
- 30:57They're just trading it.
- 30:59All right.
- 30:59I'll trade you this ship of whatever for
- 31:01this ship of I don't know silk brought
- 31:05into there because we got to take something
- 31:07back.
- 31:08It'd be something else you know whatever they're
- 31:10going to fill the hull of the ship
- 31:12with.
- 31:13But they would barter it instead.
- 31:15Bartering is becoming a big deal again.
- 31:18They're going to either give a discount sale
- 31:20they use intermediaries or they'll go to friendly
- 31:22or neutral buyers and avoid the EU.
- 31:26So that doesn't make the EU's price cap
- 31:28meaningless but it's definitely got great leaks.
- 31:31And the longer the sanctions continue the more
- 31:34incentive and the greater expertise the Russians and
- 31:38their trade partners have to build permanent non
- 31:43-western.
- 31:45That's key.
- 31:46The key there is non-western controlled workarounds.
- 31:51So they figure out how to work around
- 31:53it without using western stuff.
- 31:56And so what are they doing but kicking
- 31:58themselves right in the shorties right in the
- 32:02doodads and they are screwing themselves and their
- 32:08own people for generations.
- 32:12Because trust me the alternative networks are building.
- 32:17So what what what the EU cannot easily
- 32:21do and the U.S. is trying it.
- 32:23Donald Trump has tried it.
- 32:24And it's very very difficult because you have
- 32:27people like Narendra Modi Jaishankar.
- 32:31You have Xi Jinping and his foreign ministry.
- 32:35All these big countries and everybody else is
- 32:37watching with great interest while this happens in
- 32:40real time.
- 32:42And what they cannot do and have not
- 32:43been able to do with any with any
- 32:45real certainty is they're quiet about it and
- 32:48they're trying it.
- 32:49But they don't want to acknowledge that we're
- 32:51losing this battle.
- 32:52We being the the western hegemony or the
- 32:55hegemonic globalism crowd is losing this war.
- 33:00Okay.
- 33:01They cannot force India or China to stop
- 33:07buying Russian oil unless those buyers are using
- 33:12European or EU controlled services.
- 33:16It cannot erase Russia's domestic production base.
- 33:19It cannot stop every transaction that go routes
- 33:23through huge places like Dubai Turkey Central Asia
- 33:28China India or other intermediaries.
- 33:32Now a lot of those places use Western
- 33:35insurance Western transport Western what.
- 33:38But what's happening.
- 33:40Because of all this they are recognizing new
- 33:44Chinese new Indian new Iranian new Russian insurance
- 33:51structures services.
- 33:54Everything is now being built to work around
- 33:59sanctions.
- 33:59Takes a while to rebuild all of this.
- 34:02But the damage is going to be eternal
- 34:06because you don't I mean it's a long
- 34:09term play.
- 34:10You know you have to you have to
- 34:11think long term.
- 34:12Don't tell me China doesn't think long term.
- 34:15They do.
- 34:16Don't tell me India doesn't think long term.
- 34:19They do too.
- 34:20And the only people that were short timers
- 34:22short term people are here in the United
- 34:26States.
- 34:27You know.
- 34:28So we ought to have a holiday called
- 34:30Sanction Day here.
- 34:31We ought to make a new federal holiday.
- 34:35Call it Sanction Day.
- 34:36And we can say this is when we've
- 34:39realized that sanctions are really foolish.
- 34:44Diplomacy would be a better option because you're
- 34:48interfering with the economics of the planet by
- 34:52the way.
- 34:53So when you put this thing in what
- 34:55you're really doing is disadvantaging your own your
- 34:58own citizenry all over the place because long
- 35:02term they're developing counterpoints to it.
- 35:06You could argue that if you're a dock
- 35:08worker what do you care if your paycheck
- 35:10is coming from you know the docks of
- 35:14New Jersey owned by Jim Bob or a
- 35:17dock in New Jersey owned by China.
- 35:20What do you care.
- 35:21But the Chinese and everybody else on the
- 35:25planet are trying to buy these are buying
- 35:28the infrastructure surrounding all of it just to
- 35:32avoid the sanctions.
- 35:34People don't like this.
- 35:36But most time you just don't understand it.
- 35:40And so Sanction Day would be pretty cool
- 35:43if we could create a so maybe we
- 35:44should call it anti-sanction day the day
- 35:47we knew that that's the BS sanctions day.
- 35:52How about that.
- 35:53We finally realized it.
- 35:55So what we do what we're very good
- 35:57at and the EU is follows our lead
- 36:00and creates their own packages.
- 36:02U.S. doesn't have the 21st sanctions package.
- 36:04We're a little bit quieter about it.
- 36:06We just have Besson and his crowd go
- 36:09out and say you know we're going to
- 36:10do he just makes announcements every once in
- 36:14a while just to still be relevant.
- 36:16Right.
- 36:16So people are paying attention to you know
- 36:18we're going to do we're going to go
- 36:19steal all the money in the bank related
- 36:22to Iran.
- 36:23We're taking it all.
- 36:25OK.
- 36:26So that sounds like a boy what a
- 36:29great plan.
- 36:29You know and he'll just come out and
- 36:30shout something out every once in a while
- 36:32and call it a sanctions package.
- 36:34But he doesn't really call it a sanctions
- 36:36package but it is a sanctions package.
- 36:38So we could work on sanctions day.
- 36:40Let's go back to the timeline of the
- 36:43packages and I don't know if I should
- 36:44go backward or forward.
- 36:46So let's let's talk about it because I
- 36:49was I was theorizing that the sanctions would
- 36:56is the reason we have 21 packages of
- 37:00sanctions.
- 37:02And my anticipation after before reviewing it was
- 37:06thinking that if I go back I'm going
- 37:09to see that the sanctions are speeding up.
- 37:13Now like didn't we just have the 19th
- 37:17sanctions package back in February and the 20th
- 37:21back in and you know I was like
- 37:23man seems like we're always talking about the
- 37:25you know the Ursula von der Leyen and
- 37:27her crowd.
- 37:28You know they've they've run out of pom
- 37:30poms and they got to go run out
- 37:31and start cheerleading something new.
- 37:35So they just you know every 90 days
- 37:38they create a new economic forum somewhere and
- 37:42they get to get up and all congratulate
- 37:43themselves on how they're winning the war against
- 37:46the evil Russian empire.
- 37:49And here's what we're doing.
- 37:50We're going to put some more sanctions in
- 37:52place.
- 37:52There you go.
- 37:53But what I found out was it's really
- 37:56not quite so.
- 37:57So they were closer together back in the
- 38:01beginning because they screwed up they screwed up
- 38:04so bad they didn't realize how quickly the
- 38:06workarounds were going to come.
- 38:08OK.
- 38:08And so these workarounds are like this.
- 38:11Let's talk about this sanctions on February the
- 38:1522nd and 23rd the day you know the
- 38:18wars start the war.
- 38:19If you want to the day the war
- 38:21escalated the war has been going on since
- 38:232014.
- 38:25Ukrainians have been slaughtering Russians in the Donbass
- 38:27since 2014.
- 38:28They've been bombing their own country for four
- 38:31years you know and killing ethnic Russians and
- 38:34you know destroying them and they were trying
- 38:37to get you know work through the scam
- 38:39of the Minsk Accords 1 and 2.
- 38:42And so so the sanctions came up because
- 38:45the Russians pushed back and said you know
- 38:47what you guys are assholes.
- 38:48I can't believe you're not going to.
- 38:50They finally stood up.
- 38:52OK.
- 38:53And so sanctions on the 301st state Duma
- 38:57members 351.
- 38:59This is what how they started personal sanctions
- 39:03against 351 state Duma members who voted to
- 39:08recognize Donetsk and Lugansk.
- 39:10So the ones who didn't vote to recognize
- 39:14Donetsk and Lugansk as Russian those guys didn't
- 39:18get sanctions.
- 39:19So obviously you're trying to take a new
- 39:23country and they say well fine we're going
- 39:25to sanction all of your accounts in bank
- 39:28accounts in our banks in the West because
- 39:31all of you travel in the West because
- 39:34you're important people and so we're taking your
- 39:36money.
- 39:37This is how you get rid of Vladimir
- 39:38Putin.
- 39:39You have you sanction the personal accounts.
- 39:43So the first ones are very personal in
- 39:45nature and there was a non-government controlled
- 39:49sanctions against Donetsk and Lugansk.
- 39:53Any restrictions on Russian access to E.U.
- 39:56capital or financial markets.
- 39:59That was on February 22nd and 23rd.
- 40:03They had individual sanctions against the people who
- 40:07voted to recognize Donetsk and Lugansk because there
- 40:11were referenda there.
- 40:14And so naturally we have to sanction these
- 40:16people.
- 40:17How can they go against the globalists.
- 40:21So we sanction them personally steal their money
- 40:24personally and they no longer have access to
- 40:27their money and they better have kept it
- 40:30in Russia or they're going to lose it.
- 40:33So the personal sanctions happened on February 25th.
- 40:37They sanctioned Putin himself Lavrov Sergei Viktorovich the
- 40:43State Duma and Security Council members.
- 40:45Now they expanded it to everyone because they
- 40:49didn't immediately go oh wait we made a
- 40:51mistake you know Donetsk and Lugansk will stay
- 40:53in Ukraine.
- 40:55They said no well you know they've done
- 40:57it so well shit we bet we missed
- 40:59somebody.
- 41:00We didn't didn't sanction Putin Lavrov and you
- 41:05know what while we're at it let's let's
- 41:07do all the rest of the Duma members
- 41:09and the Security Council members though anybody works
- 41:13in finance energy transport technology and they restricted
- 41:17access to all of those networks in the
- 41:19West.
- 41:20Any defense sector export controls and aviation space
- 41:25oil refining technology restrictions and partial visa facilitation
- 41:30suspension no more visas for anybody from Russia
- 41:34as of February 25th 2022.
- 41:38So now those visas only come for like
- 41:40three years ten years depends on what you
- 41:42get right and so they'll be being limited
- 41:45even now because now we're four years later
- 41:47and Russians can't leave their homeland.
- 41:50So on five days later they the EU
- 41:55airspace was closed to Russian aircraft.
- 42:00The Russian central bank transactions were banned.
- 42:04The seven banks including Sverbank my bank was
- 42:09removed from SWIFT.
- 42:10The euro bank note ban occurred.
- 42:13The RT Sputnik broadcasting was suspended.
- 42:16You can no longer broadcast your RT or
- 42:19Sputnik and Belarus related sanctions you gotta you
- 42:23know since Belarus says we we support Russia
- 42:25you gotta sanction them too.
- 42:27You know so so these are the sanctions
- 42:30that happened on February 28th.
- 42:33That was the third sanctions package basically in
- 42:36a week.
- 42:38Let's see then on March 9th of the
- 42:41same year 160 individuals were sanctioned.
- 42:45They picked all the rich oligarchs sanctioned them.
- 42:48They sanctioned maritime navigation radio communication export restrictions.
- 42:54Now Belarus has a SWIFT and central bank
- 42:58restrictions and Belarus now can't use any financial
- 43:01inflow restrictions any money coming from there.
- 43:04Six days later on March 15 Roman Abramovich
- 43:09and German Kahn was listed.
- 43:12Okay Roman Abramovich is big fine big investor
- 43:15guy.
- 43:15I think it was him that they stole
- 43:17his huge yacht.
- 43:18Remember they took his huge yacht that was
- 43:21the size of an office building in New
- 43:24York.
- 43:25It was freaking enormous and they stole his
- 43:27yacht if I'm thinking of the right guy.
- 43:30Any state owned enterprise transaction was banned Russian
- 43:34state.
- 43:34Any credit rating service was banned.
- 43:37New Russian energy investment.
- 43:39No more Russian energy investment.
- 43:41No more iron or steel imported from Russia
- 43:44and any luxury goods could no longer be
- 43:47exported to Russia.
- 43:49That was March 15th so we're not even
- 43:51a month in.
- 43:52So April 8th 217 more individuals 18 entities
- 43:57EU ports are closed to Russian vessels any
- 44:00any any vessel carrying the Russian flag.
- 44:03Russian road transport ban.
- 44:05You couldn't go if you had a car
- 44:07licensed in Russia that was licensed in Russia.
- 44:10No more.
- 44:11So trucking was done.
- 44:12Coal and solid fossil fuel imports.
- 44:14Wood cement seafood liquor import bans.
- 44:18You can't bring any of those in from
- 44:19Russia.
- 44:20No more jet fuel could be exported to
- 44:23Russia.
- 44:23High value crypto services were done and anything
- 44:26in trust restrictions.
- 44:28They couldn't create any Western style trusts whether
- 44:31you're Russian or not.
- 44:32Okay that was April 8th June the 3rd
- 44:34of 2022.
- 44:36So we're on the sixth package.
- 44:38Here major oil where they attacked crude oil
- 44:41refined product import ban on reselling pipeline oil
- 44:44to other member states or third countries.
- 44:47So if Hungary was receiving oil from Russia
- 44:53through Ukraine they couldn't turn around and sell
- 44:56it to Germany.
- 44:57So you can't third party it.
- 44:59You can't swap it and then and then
- 45:01play that you know you don't have that
- 45:03come out.
- 45:04What else did they do.
- 45:06Third countries.
- 45:06Here's where the insurance and financing restrictions came
- 45:10about for Russian oil transport.
- 45:13Three more Russian banks were removed from Swift.
- 45:16Russian broadcasters total all of them not just
- 45:19RT worse were taken off any accounting auditing
- 45:23or consulting services were also terminated.
- 45:26You couldn't consult with the Russians.
- 45:29July the 21st package number seven maintenance and
- 45:33alignment.
- 45:33This was just this wasn't real sanctions were
- 45:35just well you know we've been doing this
- 45:37for six months now or four four or
- 45:39five months now we now know what we're
- 45:41supposed to be doing.
- 45:42We and we forgot these 54 individuals in
- 45:4510 more entities.
- 45:46The Russian gold was import import ban.
- 45:48You couldn't buy Russian gold.
- 45:51You can't talk about asset reporting.
- 45:54You can't report Russian assets.
- 45:57You can't report them anymore.
- 45:58You don't have time.
- 45:59You don't even own them anymore because Russia
- 46:01was busy seizing them.
- 46:03This is when the big deal about Russia
- 46:05taking McDonald's and selling it to other people
- 46:09and it becoming Kusna itочка which is tasty
- 46:14period and it's very tasty.
- 46:15Actually it's much better than McDonald's and their
- 46:19coffee sucks but everything you know you can
- 46:22go to you can go to any McDonald's
- 46:23on the planet and get the coffee that
- 46:25tastes the same everywhere whether they're all required
- 46:28to use the same coffee which I presume
- 46:30is the case all over the planet.
- 46:32But I mean nope all over the United
- 46:34States because in Russia the coffee for from
- 46:37McDonald's is crap and you can go right
- 46:40to any little coffee shop.
- 46:42Coffee shops are a big deal in Russia
- 46:43and there are plenty of them and very
- 46:46very tasty and there you have good coffee.
- 46:48It's very cheap and you don't have to
- 46:49go to Starbucks and even at Starbucks it
- 46:53wasn't horrible to pay you know.
- 46:56Now it's star coffee over there so that
- 46:57happened too and all this was going on
- 46:59in mid July or mid 2022 and here
- 47:03we are in July 22 with the seventh
- 47:05sanctions.
- 47:06They port access.
- 47:08You couldn't go into locks anymore around the
- 47:11world.
- 47:11No more locks for the raising and lowering
- 47:13of your ship and you couldn't have dual
- 47:16use controls you and they had clarifications and
- 47:19exemptions were fixed up in the seventh package.
- 47:22The eighth package was a whole October of
- 47:262022 so we're still in the first year.
- 47:28There is a price cap framework for maritime
- 47:30transport of Russian oil to third countries.
- 47:34This is one we're talking about again today
- 47:35in the 21st package okay.
- 47:38Sanctions and circumventions listing criteria.
- 47:41Russian maritime shipping register transactions ban.
- 47:45Bans on imports of steel, paper, plastic, cosmetics,
- 47:50crypto wallet restrictions, service bans of architecture, engineering
- 47:54and IT consulting as well as legal services.
- 48:00You can now not get lawyers.
- 48:02No more lawyers.
- 48:04So lawyers were being sanctioned away from well
- 48:08you couldn't have a Russian come to your
- 48:12office and hire you because sanctions say that's
- 48:16not allowed okay.
- 48:19December we're still in 2022.
- 48:22We're not even a year in.
- 48:23141 more individuals.
- 48:2549 more entities.
- 48:27168 defense industrial entities from Russia.
- 48:32Aviation space and drone engine export bans.
- 48:35Mining investment bans.
- 48:37Russian regional development bank transaction ban.
- 48:41So this one's important.
- 48:42The Russian regional development bank.
- 48:45This is when the development bank became the
- 48:51BRICS development bank.
- 48:53And it's not BRICS.
- 48:54It's called the International Development Bank to create
- 48:59something different than the World Bank for its
- 49:02members.
- 49:04And so this was a big mistake in
- 49:06my view back then because now you've expanded
- 49:10it to non-Russia.
- 49:15You're no longer this is when it started
- 49:17to go off the rails.
- 49:20Now we're not sanctioning Russia.
- 49:26We're sanctioning the world okay is what's happening.
- 49:31And now we're a full year in and
- 49:34the 10th package EU package came on February
- 49:40the 25th 2023 a year and three days
- 49:43after the war year one day maybe two
- 49:45I don't remember I can't remember if it's
- 49:4724th or 22nd I think it was February
- 49:4922nd the war started.
- 49:5187 more individuals.
- 49:5334 more entities.
- 49:54Now Iran is going to be added to
- 49:58the deal because the Iranian drone related you
- 50:02know the Shaheed drone manufactured in Iran sold
- 50:08across the border into Russia and used to
- 50:12bomb Ukraine.
- 50:13And the Russians were taking those upgrading them
- 50:18and using them to bomb Ukraine and the
- 50:20Shaheed drone and the other drone that they
- 50:24which I can't remember over there.
- 50:26Russia has now repurposed them reinvented them as
- 50:32it were and sent it across.
- 50:34We're going to take a bit of a
- 50:35break.
- 50:36We're halfway through the show and we're at
- 50:37the 10th sanctions package.
- 50:39We still got 11 more to go to
- 50:42get there but I'm going to play for
- 50:44you a Russian song.
- 50:46Russian song and the Russian song is a
- 50:56song about a friend.
- 50:59Song about a friend by the old Vladimir
- 51:03Vysotsky and I went to his a museum
- 51:10dedicated to him in Naberezhnye Chelny in 2023,
- 51:182024.
- 51:19I can't remember but I've been over to
- 51:21Naberezhnye Chelny several times.
- 51:22That was the first time I discovered that
- 51:24they had a Vysotsky.
- 51:25Now this is true Russian.
- 51:28You want protest singing.
- 51:30These are our protest songs.
- 51:32You know your Bob Dylan and crowd from
- 51:35when they were kids.
- 51:36You know he had that rain on a
- 51:38tin roof sounds like a drum that kind
- 51:40of stuff.
- 51:41We're marching for freedom today.
- 51:42Yay.
- 51:43I'll sing one for you.
- 51:45You know but we're going to go with
- 51:47the old Vladimir Vysotsky and play you a
- 51:53song of a friend.
- 51:54It's only a couple minutes so please enjoy.
- 51:57Hold on.
- 51:57Let's make sure it's going to play.
- 51:59Somebody was dinking around with the sound again.
- 52:01Whoever's before me stop doing that.
- 52:04It's freaking irritating.
- 52:07And that was Vladimir Vysotsky.
- 52:10Song came out in late 60s early 70s
- 52:14probably.
- 52:16That song came out.
- 52:17Pretty good stuff.
- 52:19Maynard.
- 52:21And basically the song of a friend is
- 52:23really a philosophical song.
- 52:29Very nice.
- 52:30And what it is is it's talking about
- 52:34friendship and how you can tell that a
- 52:37friend is yours.
- 52:38Very very popular.
- 52:39Now Vladimir Vysotsky was not very well liked
- 52:42by the government back then because remember they
- 52:46had you had to be accepted into schools
- 52:50and you had to be politically correct way
- 52:52back then.
- 52:53Soviet Union was certainly not fond of this
- 52:58guy creating narratives and the popularity that he
- 53:02was garnering and they tried to limit his
- 53:06influence on people and it didn't work.
- 53:09He gave an interview.
- 53:11I talked about this way before many years
- 53:13ago.
- 53:14Who was it with?
- 53:15Was it Dan Rather?
- 53:16I can't remember who interviewed him when he
- 53:19came over and they tried to get him
- 53:20to talk bad about Russia and he wouldn't
- 53:23or about the Soviet Union and he wouldn't
- 53:25do it.
- 53:25He said I'm not here for that.
- 53:26And he was very it was it was
- 53:29a good deal.
- 53:30It was a pretty good interview.
- 53:33And the song anyway is a good song
- 53:37as well.
- 53:39Let us see.
- 53:43Okay.
- 53:46All right we're gonna try this but I
- 53:49do want to get to my discussion on
- 53:51sanctions so I'd rather not hear a different
- 53:54topic and there's something going on with your
- 53:57phone.
- 53:57What do you got?
- 54:03I don't know.
- 54:04I guess he's got nothing.
- 54:05Okay well I was gonna have a conversation
- 54:09but apparently that's not gonna happen.
- 54:12So at any rate the back to our
- 54:16sanctions discussion which we were going through earlier
- 54:20and we were on package number 10.
- 54:23Then they didn't have another package of sanctions
- 54:26until June of that year.
- 54:28I mean all four months later they were
- 54:31they they did had they had some more.
- 54:33There were 71 individuals, 33 entities and 87
- 54:38defense industrial entities, more export restrictions, more transit
- 54:42bans, more road transport restrictions, more port and
- 54:46lock bans for vessels using ship to ship
- 54:50transfer.
- 54:50They were discovering some year and several months
- 54:54later that they were ship to ship transferring
- 54:57stuff outside of the port and then bringing
- 54:59it in.
- 55:01So you could go out.
- 55:03This is one of the ways of avoidance.
- 55:05Meanwhile they're building all this new infrastructure for
- 55:09other ports and other countries and using different
- 55:11acceptables.
- 55:13And so what's the EU do?
- 55:14They block off anybody that has insurance from
- 55:17other place say nope you have to be
- 55:18insured by Lloyd's London you can't do it
- 55:20and then you know Lloyd's Lloyd's wouldn't certify
- 55:24that you had proper insurance paperwork or restricted
- 55:32so they would limit you from coming in.
- 55:34And so they would disable or disabling navigation.
- 55:39There were more media suspensions, more IP and
- 55:42trade secret restrictions and then an anti-circumvention
- 55:46cooperation protocol was put into place because they
- 55:51were noticing a year and a half later
- 55:53reality reality punched him in the face and
- 55:57well Jesus these people are avoiding our sanctions.
- 56:01We're a year into this and by God
- 56:03they haven't collapsed yet and so we need
- 56:07more.
- 56:07You know what we need?
- 56:08Sanctions aren't working.
- 56:10You know we need more sanctions.
- 56:12My name is Ursula von der Leyen and
- 56:15I support this message you know and my
- 56:17name is Kaya Kallis.
- 56:19My name's Anna Verbach that you know I
- 56:23have math problems but you know we're gonna
- 56:29we're gonna make a 360 degree turn right
- 56:32here and we're gonna put more sanctions in
- 56:34place you know that's what we're gonna do
- 56:36because we're Anna 360 Verbach as she is
- 56:40referred to in political terms because she doesn't
- 56:44turn around she turns around that's what she
- 56:48does and so they implement a year and
- 56:52a half later an anti-circumvention protocol okay
- 56:57then in December of 2023 six months later
- 57:01they find out that they have to sanction
- 57:0461 more people that have been getting around
- 57:07this sanctioning crap and 86 entities they're helping
- 57:11these people get around sanctions we have to
- 57:14sanction them too then 86 more companies a
- 57:17diamond ban now you got to ban diamonds
- 57:19from Russia you have LPG and metal goods
- 57:22import ban you can't do that you have
- 57:24a no Russia clause for re-export contracts
- 57:28you can't re-export something to Russia no
- 57:31no no software services are now banned reporting
- 57:35rules for transfers over a hundred thousand euro
- 57:40were implemented why so that they could bureaucratically
- 57:45track who's avoiding sanctions and then a larger
- 57:50much larger anti-sanction circumvention protocol was implemented
- 57:57and this cooperation so they're still realizing sanctions
- 58:01aren't working and so they change them yet
- 58:05again and we're only a year and almost
- 58:09two years in so on the anniversary February
- 58:1223rd of 2024 they implement the 13th sanctions
- 58:17package we're now two years in okay now
- 58:21we have 106 individuals 88 entities now North
- 58:26Korea is going to be sanctioned because anything
- 58:30related to North Korea because North Korea is
- 58:33supporting Russia sent some soldiers over to Kursk
- 58:36and they didn't hadn't hadn't that hadn't happened
- 58:39yet I don't think but they were getting
- 58:41there in in the February part and they
- 58:43were the Kursk operation hadn't happened yet but
- 58:47it was coming actually I think came in
- 58:49late 2024 but I don't remember for sure
- 58:51they sanctioned another 27 defense industrial and its
- 58:55in entities more drone components were sanctioned and
- 59:00electrical transformers and industrial goods were also sanctioned
- 59:05you know you couldn't couldn't do it okay
- 59:08none of that so now June 24th of
- 59:112024 we're at the 14th package we're two
- 59:15years and four or five months in 69
- 59:17more individuals 47 more entities liquid natural gas
- 59:23now can't be re-exported new Russian LNG
- 59:29investment ban so no no more LNG anywhere
- 59:33you know that's banned if you're using western
- 59:37um insurance or Russian infrastructure or I'm sorry
- 59:42if you're using western infrastructure at all that's
- 59:46you know you got to get rid of
- 59:47the LNG and helium no more helium no
- 59:50more industrial export uh you can't do that
- 59:53restriction on Russia's financial messaging systems so Russia
- 59:58has its own uh SPFS financial messaging system
- 1:00:02competing with BRICS or competing with SWIFT I
- 1:00:06mean and they were talking about that remember
- 1:00:08this is the upcoming up to the BRICS
- 1:00:102024 which occurred in October 2024 in Kazan
- 1:00:16and so they were they were building uh
- 1:00:18trying to quickly build China's SIPS and Russia's
- 1:00:22SPFS the messaging system in China's SIPS and
- 1:00:26these are these were big developments they'd have
- 1:00:28they'd been ongoing anyway but they were finalizing
- 1:00:31in 2024 and this was going to it
- 1:00:33even 10 times more easy to avoid sanctions
- 1:00:36okay and everybody knew this so you had
- 1:00:38to ban the FBS SPFS financial messaging system
- 1:00:42they had to ban Russian funding of EU
- 1:00:45political parties they do it all the time
- 1:00:48the EU funds any anti-Russian you could
- 1:00:52your only platform you could be an axe
- 1:00:55murderer and say we need to axe murderer
- 1:00:57anybody who is uh under five feet tall
- 1:01:01and uh you know they have to be
- 1:01:02killed but but but but but but I
- 1:01:06hate Russia I hate Vladimir Putin and I
- 1:01:08guarantee you the EU is going to support
- 1:01:10your political party and you're going to get
- 1:01:13all kinds of benefit but by God the
- 1:01:15reverse better not happen Russia can't Russia can't
- 1:01:18finance or fund any candidates that are pro
- 1:01:21-Russian outside of Russia bad plan we can't
- 1:01:25do that but we can fund everything anywhere
- 1:01:27we want to uh right and but the
- 1:01:31only requirement is you must be anti-Russia
- 1:01:34and anti-China right uh so you you
- 1:01:37can't fund and a Russian NGO non-government
- 1:01:40organization they're now port and flight more stuff
- 1:01:44coming in there more media suspensions and guess
- 1:01:47what surprise surprise more anti-circumvention tools implemented
- 1:01:52we're now two plus years in 15th sanctions
- 1:01:58package came out in December of 2024 54
- 1:02:01more individuals 30 more entities 52 specific shadow
- 1:02:07fleet vessels now they're identifying individual vessels that
- 1:02:11are engaged in uh offshore transfer to certain
- 1:02:15to non-Russian ships or whatever and uh
- 1:02:19dual use exports restrictions concerning Russian court rulings
- 1:02:24so you can't even use a legitimate Russian
- 1:02:27court judgment anywhere outside of the country under
- 1:02:31article 248 which requires observation and enforcement of
- 1:02:38foreign judgments but not anymore we're done with
- 1:02:42that we're the EU by God no but
- 1:02:45we don't have to follow the law you
- 1:02:47know we went to law school where they
- 1:02:49didn't teach law you know that you missed
- 1:02:51you missed the law that day and so
- 1:02:54you have to do you know article 248
- 1:02:56central securities depository derogations and divestment deadline extensions
- 1:03:01they want to take the money from Russia
- 1:03:03the 300 billion they've been holding for quite
- 1:03:05a few years now we're at anniversary number
- 1:03:09three February 2025 48 more individuals 35 entities
- 1:03:1374 more shadow fleet vessels transaction restrictions on
- 1:03:18any institution using Russia's financial messaging system so
- 1:03:22obviously now people are still using FPFS and
- 1:03:25they're still using uh SIPs and so we
- 1:03:28got we have to uh sanction them too
- 1:03:33no more institutions can use this 13 more
- 1:03:37regional banks export control Russian media suspension no
- 1:03:41more media port and airport restrictions and anybody
- 1:03:45aligned with Belarus it's now gonna be targeted
- 1:03:49as well so there we are third anniversary
- 1:03:52okay several months later 17th package 17 more
- 1:03:56individuals 58 more entities including Sergut Neftegaz.
- 1:04:02Sergut is I believe the German part and
- 1:04:05they got rid of the German slash Russian
- 1:04:08Russia owned 51 percent of that if I
- 1:04:10remember and so there were 189 more shadow
- 1:04:13fleet vessels vessels attacked dual use exports controls
- 1:04:18chemical and machine tool spare parts are now
- 1:04:23outlawed as well so it keeps expanding you
- 1:04:26know that the next then in July of
- 1:04:282025 they lowered the crude oil cap from
- 1:04:3260 to 45 remember that they import ban
- 1:04:36on refined petroleum products made from Russian crude
- 1:04:40in third countries like India because they buy
- 1:04:43all the crude from Russia they return it
- 1:04:45into petroleum and then they ship it out
- 1:04:48and they say no not anymore they're trying
- 1:04:50to force India here to not make any
- 1:04:56money for their own country and to re
- 1:04:58-export Russian fuel this was a big debate
- 1:05:01because they're going man you asked us to
- 1:05:03do this you told us to do this
- 1:05:05and said this is how we get it
- 1:05:06because you're Europe you still need all the
- 1:05:09fuel from Russia and you need all the
- 1:05:11all the fuel that comes in from India
- 1:05:13even if it's created using Russian but nope
- 1:05:16we got to get out of that so
- 1:05:17instead we're going to pay three times as
- 1:05:19much getting it from the U.S. or
- 1:05:21where else wherever else we can get it
- 1:05:23around the Straits of Hormuz and they were
- 1:05:26buying it from Iran right Iran and the
- 1:05:30UAE and places like that and having it
- 1:05:32go around the Straits of Hormuz so the
- 1:05:34story just keeps getting worse for these poor
- 1:05:35bastards and so they've lowered it to 47
- 1:05:39bucks 105 more shadow fleets Nord Stream transactions
- 1:05:43so there's one of the pipes is still
- 1:05:45working they needed to shut that pipe down
- 1:05:47because they blew up the other two stronger
- 1:05:51bank transaction bans they improve that said oh
- 1:05:53geez they're not working you know all of
- 1:05:56these things that I'm telling you are the
- 1:05:58same first sanctions not working package the sanctions
- 1:06:02aren't working so let's make it worse you're
- 1:06:05affecting your own economies worse than you're affecting
- 1:06:07the Russian exports so wait a minute this
- 1:06:10isn't working aha we found the result let's
- 1:06:13go back and do something more right Russia's
- 1:06:15direct investment fund you can't even invest directly
- 1:06:18into Russia anymore and no more dual use
- 1:06:21export well more dual use export things that
- 1:06:25can be used for two different things electronics
- 1:06:28remember what was it the England they were
- 1:06:31saying Russia they're all their tanks are being
- 1:06:35used they're being supplied with washing machine parts
- 1:06:39remember that so you got it better restrict
- 1:06:41those washing machines too because you know those
- 1:06:44could be used to create Russian tanks it's
- 1:06:48an idiotic argument but but that's you know
- 1:06:51what that that's the EU for you this
- 1:06:53is Ursula von der Leyen and Kayakolas two
- 1:06:56of the biggest the biggest goons on the
- 1:06:59planet government lovers one and all we love
- 1:07:02government let's go after people now let's see
- 1:07:06uh another ban October 23rd 2025 69 more
- 1:07:11individuals 117 more shadows and 45 new export
- 1:07:15controls and now they have diplomatic travel notification
- 1:07:19rules so if you're Victor Orban you have
- 1:07:22to tell the EU you're going to Russia
- 1:07:24oh my god you're going to Russia we
- 1:07:26gotta stop you so they have to you
- 1:07:28have to report it now or you can
- 1:07:29be sanctioned yourself inside the EU and we
- 1:07:33saw what they did to Orban right 20th
- 1:07:36sanctions package this is the last one April
- 1:07:38the 23rd of 2026 a full uh six
- 1:07:42months plus since the last sanctions package April
- 1:07:4623 2026 120 listings future maritime services banned
- 1:07:52for Russian crude and petroleum any future stuff
- 1:07:56you need future service we're not giving it
- 1:07:59to you 46 more shadow fleet vessels tanker
- 1:08:03sale due diligence you can't sell a tanker
- 1:08:06to uh uh to or from Russia without
- 1:08:09going through the EU uh due diligence process
- 1:08:13liquid natural gas tanker and icebreaker service bans
- 1:08:17you can't go up through the Arctic anymore
- 1:08:19LNG terminal service ban for Russian entities transaction
- 1:08:25bans on 20 more Russian banks and for
- 1:08:27non-EU financial institutions more crypto restrictions export
- 1:08:33restrictions and circumvention protocols and bureaucracy built in
- 1:08:39so you're building an enormous bureaucracy here to
- 1:08:43track all this stuff right and now the
- 1:08:4721st one that was unveiled June the 9th
- 1:08:50hasn't been adopted yet but it's common you
- 1:08:53know they'll adopt it a freeze of Russian
- 1:08:55oil price price cap now it can't go
- 1:08:58up and down like they had it go
- 1:09:00before to be a percentage of what the
- 1:09:03uh international level is they now include the
- 1:09:07fish like we were talking about before these
- 1:09:11people are nuts so uh let's see the
- 1:09:15EU has moved from big symbolic sanctions Putin
- 1:09:20Lavrov oligarch swift airspace and oil to now
- 1:09:25increasingly very technical sanctions against the workaround against
- 1:09:32of course people are working around the 21st
- 1:09:36package is probably the biggest symbol that sanctions
- 1:09:40aren't working it's bigger than anything else what
- 1:09:43else do you need to prove that sanctions
- 1:09:45aren't working except a package 22 the more
- 1:09:52this is what's going to happen the shadow
- 1:09:54fleets ship-to-ship transport crypto platforms third
- 1:09:59country banking and insurance re-export uh works
- 1:10:03you know that they're they're just they're they're
- 1:10:06killing themselves people are just like with the
- 1:10:08U.S. we don't want to use your
- 1:10:10your political dollarized structure because you know we
- 1:10:15don't want to be sanctioned too one day
- 1:10:16you'll decide some some idiot some unelected goon
- 1:10:21who's appointed to the EU uh globalism crowd
- 1:10:26will just sanction me one day I'll be
- 1:10:29on the list to be sanctioned it doesn't
- 1:10:32matter if you have money it matters that
- 1:10:33you're the political type that needs to be
- 1:10:36sanctioned oh you can't travel to Germany anymore
- 1:10:39because you uh are a Vladimir Putin puppet
- 1:10:43you know whatever and uh it's um the
- 1:10:48same old same old you know they're moving
- 1:10:51they they got you can't get down to
- 1:10:54SWIFT okay well let's build our own platforms
- 1:10:57what have they done SIPS is growing dramatically
- 1:11:00SIPS is the Chinese uh payment system and
- 1:11:04uh that Chinese payment system it it doesn't
- 1:11:07compete on a level of SWIFT yet but
- 1:11:10it's quietly growing year by year they implemented
- 1:11:13it in what 2016 2017 very very small
- 1:11:16but now 98 percent of Russian uh Chinese
- 1:11:21trade goes through SIPS a lot of BRICS
- 1:11:24countries are using the SIPS protocols and taking
- 1:11:27yuan taking money through that system and avoiding
- 1:11:31the dollar it's happening real time and it's
- 1:11:35it's not going to stop and it's just
- 1:11:38not you can't tell China not to do
- 1:11:40it they're going you're not going to put
- 1:11:42us in your sanctions machine no way we'll
- 1:11:45just build our own you know we can
- 1:11:47withstand you Russia built their own we can
- 1:11:50withstand you too long-term pain but I
- 1:11:54mean long-term gain short-term next several
- 1:11:57years yeah you know sanction package 21 they
- 1:12:00laugh them off now I mean who wouldn't
- 1:12:03you know here it comes again well you
- 1:12:05know our workarounds are working aren't they because
- 1:12:08because you're struggling to keep up and oh
- 1:12:11yeah this package is gonna bring them to
- 1:12:12their knees oh yeah just like the last
- 1:12:15one you know we're gonna do it well
- 1:12:17the adaptation of the market is what markets
- 1:12:21do I have an economics degree what do
- 1:12:23you think happens equilibrium when it's no longer
- 1:12:27equilibrium you put a false thing the market
- 1:12:30price or the market changes the market fights
- 1:12:34to get back to equilibrium that's economics 101
- 1:12:38I mean if you need to know economics
- 1:12:40this economics of supply equals demand that's the
- 1:12:44point of equilibrium equilibrium works and what do
- 1:12:48you do as a regulator you come in
- 1:12:50and you cock up the equilibrium you put
- 1:12:53in a sanction you put in a tax
- 1:12:55you put in some kind of an outside
- 1:12:57thing and guess what you've done you've destroyed
- 1:12:59the market and the ability to people outside
- 1:13:02of you to do what they wish to
- 1:13:05do and what are they gonna do they're
- 1:13:07gonna come up with workarounds and the market
- 1:13:09will always get back to where the market
- 1:13:11needs to be you know with your with
- 1:13:13your influence and I'm not saying you defeat
- 1:13:15the sanctions but the market will adjust if
- 1:13:18the product is as long as the product
- 1:13:20is something that's necessary and needed and as
- 1:13:23long as there's money to be made on
- 1:13:25it trust me they'll keep doing that in
- 1:13:27with oil that is absolutely true and the
- 1:13:30sanctions will never work for that reason because
- 1:13:34they will always try to find the market
- 1:13:37price and the Russians if they sell their
- 1:13:40their their stuff at the market level you
- 1:13:43know what that really means that means that's
- 1:13:45the surplus they're getting their highest money that
- 1:13:50that's your um have you ever heard the
- 1:13:54the what a uh a uh damn it
- 1:13:57I can't I'm trying to remember the the
- 1:13:59legal term for it um not legal the
- 1:14:04economic term for it it's uh the point
- 1:14:07at which you don't want anymore anymore the
- 1:14:11the the it's a it's a a needs
- 1:14:16-based price okay so and I wish I
- 1:14:19could remember the term because it's important here
- 1:14:21and I can't remember the term but uh
- 1:14:24it uh but how it works is this
- 1:14:26you're sitting at a table and somebody comes
- 1:14:29and offers you a a small cookie a
- 1:14:33chocolate covered cookie with a I don't know
- 1:14:36something on top and you're going oh my
- 1:14:38god that's my favorite type of cookie yes
- 1:14:41I'd love to have that cookie and they
- 1:14:44give you a cookie somebody comes up and
- 1:14:45they give you a second cookie the same
- 1:14:48exact one oh my god I love that
- 1:14:50cookie and I'm going to take it well
- 1:14:52are they going to come up and they
- 1:14:53offer you a third cookie of this same
- 1:14:56type right oh it's fantastic at some point
- 1:14:59you're not going to want any more cookies
- 1:15:03okay and all the rest of those cookies
- 1:15:06are of less value to you you might
- 1:15:10still take them but you'll save them for
- 1:15:12later or let's say you're paying for them
- 1:15:14the first one you'll pay a dollar the
- 1:15:16second one you'll pay a dollar the third
- 1:15:18one you'll pay a dollar the fourth one
- 1:15:20you're going you know I don't want any
- 1:15:22more cookies uh but you know you give
- 1:15:25it to me for 75 cents and I'll
- 1:15:27take it you know and and it's whatever
- 1:15:30that league the economic term is that I
- 1:15:32can't remember it just it's the price the
- 1:15:35filling price the gap price the the the
- 1:15:38next price the uh the the the I'll
- 1:15:42take it but that's what Europe has made
- 1:15:45for itself it's the dumped off goods of
- 1:15:48the uh you know we'll sell it to
- 1:15:50you but we're going to sell you you
- 1:15:51know whatever the if it's a lower quality
- 1:15:54a lower standard or we're just selling you
- 1:15:56our surplus that means you have extra to
- 1:15:58sell at that price and that is your
- 1:16:01something dollars I can't remember what it is
- 1:16:04your your uh whatever price that you get
- 1:16:08you're filling the gaps price basically and so
- 1:16:11that's what they're doing right now and I
- 1:16:14wish you could I'll remember the term I'm
- 1:16:15sure as soon as I post this for
- 1:16:17my show but I can't remember the farging
- 1:16:20term right now so the EU people are
- 1:16:23saying Russia is adapting but this adaptation is
- 1:16:27costing them it's expensive Russians are going to
- 1:16:29tell you well not really because we're still
- 1:16:32selling tons I mean we're still selling the
- 1:16:36vast majority of our stuff at full market
- 1:16:39price you idiots are cocking up the market
- 1:16:42and we're benefiting from it we're benefiting from
- 1:16:46that everywhere else in the world so since
- 1:16:49we have so much we will take our
- 1:16:52cumulative and put it out to you at
- 1:16:55the cheaper price because it doesn't really matter
- 1:16:58to us that's our reserve dollar that's our
- 1:17:01that's our money that's coming out and you
- 1:17:04know we'll take it because we have so
- 1:17:05much and you need it you're going to
- 1:17:07pay for it anyway and eventually the market's
- 1:17:10going to go back and you're going to
- 1:17:11have screwed yourself so bad that we're going
- 1:17:13to get it that's the analysis uh Europe
- 1:17:16is ritual just ritualistically sanctioning itself into dependence
- 1:17:23on other people de-industrialization strategic irrelevance they're
- 1:17:29becoming less and less relevant meanwhile the opposite
- 1:17:33is occurring in Russia China India and even
- 1:17:38Iran and the other people who are building
- 1:17:42these alternate systems there is a market effect
- 1:17:47to people uh like you know people in
- 1:17:51putting these uh sanctions there's a market effect
- 1:17:56but the effect is long term they're building
- 1:17:59alternate systems leaving your market and facing other
- 1:18:03things but they'll still sell to you they'll
- 1:18:06still sell to you but their focus is
- 1:18:08elsewhere and they are learning that we must
- 1:18:12have our own system just like Vladimir Vladimirovich
- 1:18:16just like Mr. Bezrukov just like Scott Ritter
- 1:18:21and everybody who is speaking at the St.
- 1:18:24Petersburg International Economic Forum recognizes economics is is
- 1:18:31going to bring market prices wherever there's a
- 1:18:35need for the product regardless of what EU
- 1:18:38flunkies like Ursula von der Leyen and Kayakalis
- 1:18:43want to occur Marco Rubio's of the world
- 1:18:47too in a war not helpful sanctions not
- 1:18:51helpful at all the market is what's helpful
- 1:18:55and everybody is talking about building their own
- 1:18:58market that won't be subject to western-based
- 1:19:06sanctions alternate systems and all of that stuff
- 1:19:10repeatedly these sanction uh objectors are saying
- 1:19:20that and watching we're all watching it in
- 1:19:22real time sanctions have boomeranged against Europe European
- 1:19:26governments are hurting their own economies but they're
- 1:19:30not isolating Russia like they think they are
- 1:19:33or Iran or China or India they're forcing
- 1:19:37them together they're forcing the growth of bricks
- 1:19:41and of alternate markets they're forcing other people
- 1:19:45that are allies of the EU of the
- 1:19:48United States to go you know one day
- 1:19:50they're not going to like us very much
- 1:19:53either I mean you think Turkey's watching this
- 1:19:55with great anticipation saying geez we really want
- 1:19:58to sanction Russia no they're a good trade
- 1:20:00partner with Turkey Iran I mean I'm sorry
- 1:20:02with Iran with Russia with Azra with everybody
- 1:20:05in the area they're on the south part
- 1:20:07of the Black Sea for God's sake you
- 1:20:09know this is big time trade and they're
- 1:20:11not going to go away because you don't
- 1:20:13get a change your neighbor you know my
- 1:20:15you know your neighbor is still going to
- 1:20:16be there in 100 years unless you slaughter
- 1:20:19them you know that's that that's they're still
- 1:20:22going to be there uh Slovak prime minister
- 1:20:26Robert Fico claims that the EU is only
- 1:20:28hurting itself and Russian sanctions reportedly investment uh
- 1:20:34Kirill Dmitriev his argument is that energy sanction
- 1:20:38exposed many many strategic blunders as soon and
- 1:20:42it became very evident when oil prices rose
- 1:20:45and that's what caused the need for sanctions
- 1:20:48package 21 right so it's it's it's it's
- 1:20:55it's lunacy the 21st sanctions package is not
- 1:20:59proof that Europe has Russia cornered I mean
- 1:21:03if they were cornered they'd have been cornered
- 1:21:05with the first sanctions package right it's proof
- 1:21:08in my view that the sanctions war is
- 1:21:11more or less only permanent bureaucracy every new
- 1:21:17package is advertised as an escalation but most
- 1:21:20of the new measures are really attempts to
- 1:21:23plug holes created or recognized based on the
- 1:21:26last packages Russia is paying a price to
- 1:21:30be sure but Europe is also paying a
- 1:21:32huge price and by the way the rest
- 1:21:36of the world is learning at the same
- 1:21:40time how to live outside of western controlled
- 1:21:46systems so you know I I naturally target
- 1:21:53government overreach I I just don't like it
- 1:21:56you know and I don't like this government
- 1:21:58overreach any more than I like the overreach
- 1:22:02of a creative lawyer creating a definition that
- 1:22:07isn't accurate which is the attorney general for
- 1:22:10the state of Missouri creating her own definition
- 1:22:13or claiming that a judgment created a definition
- 1:22:18when it didn't and just using it as
- 1:22:23a club to beat people over the head
- 1:22:25with I don't like that if you want
- 1:22:28to I don't know elect the next governor
- 1:22:31that's usually the step you know just like
- 1:22:33a prosecutor becomes a judge you know this
- 1:22:37attorney generals often run for governor that's what
- 1:22:40I see you know if you want a
- 1:22:42governor who's willing to beat up on small
- 1:22:44business you know a minority owned those you
- 1:22:48know take on the bureaucrat that'll create their
- 1:22:52own definitions you know that's that's that's not
- 1:22:56that's not anything other than government brutality that's
