Episode 56 - THE WEEK IN ICELAND: HAUKUR HOLM
Holiday Monday brings a new episode of The Week In Iceland to The RÚV English Podcast. Darren's guest today is his RÚV colleague Haukur Holm. In an episode recorded on Friday, they assess the state of the case of the Hafnarfjörður killing, discuss hopes that a protective genotype might eliminate scrapie in Icelandic sheep, the sudden return of winter last week, and Akureyri getting its long hoped for 20,000th resident. The show plays out with Echo, by Icelandic-Austrian singer Thorsteinn Einarsson. Email RÚV English any time - english@ruv.is, or find us on Facebook at facebook.com/ruvenglish…
