- 4:58Speaker 1: Oh, we're very ezy, guys, to kick off week right
- 5:02Speaker 1: this morning. After a great trip last week. It's good
- 5:04Speaker 1: to see all of you back in Washington. This afternoon
- 5:07Speaker 1: in the Rose Garden, President Trump, alongside First Lady Milania Trump,
- 5:11Speaker 1: will sign the Take It Down Act into law. First
- 5:14Speaker 1: Lady Milania Trump was instrumental in getting this important legislation passed.
- 5:19Speaker 1: The Take It Down Act will protect victims of digital exploitation,
- 5:22Speaker 1: hold Internet platforms accountable by requiring them to remove such
- 5:27Speaker 1: imagery from their platforms, and provide justice for victims by
- 5:31Speaker 1: allowing prosecutors to go after those who publish non consensual
- 5:36Speaker 1: explicit images online. The First Lady met with members in
- 5:40Speaker 1: the House and the Senate, survivors and their families and
- 5:44Speaker 1: advocates throughout the process to get this bill across the
- 5:47Speaker 1: finish line. We are grateful for the First Lady's hard
- 5:50Speaker 1: work and dedication to this issue, and moving forward, she
- 5:53Speaker 1: will continue to champion the well being of our nation's
- 5:56Speaker 1: children through her be Best agenda. I know the President
- 5:59Speaker 1: looks forward to signing that bill into law later this afternoon,
- 6:02Speaker 1: and we will see.
- 6:03Speaker 2: You all there.
- 6:04Speaker 1: In other news, the One Big Beautiful Bill passed the
- 6:07Speaker 1: House Budget Committee last night, bringing it one step closer
- 6:10Speaker 1: to final passage. The One Big Beautiful Bill is perfectly
- 6:14Speaker 1: named because it represents a once in a generation opportunity
- 6:18Speaker 1: to deliver on the make America Great Again agenda responsible
- 6:21Speaker 1: for President Trump's landslide victory on November fifth.
- 6:25Speaker 2: The America First.
- 6:26Speaker 1: Policies in this bill are the reason why Republicans currently
- 6:29Speaker 1: have the majority in Congress right now. Passing this bill
- 6:33Speaker 1: is what voters sent Republicans to Washington to accomplish, and
- 6:37Speaker 1: that's why it's essential that every Republican in the House
- 6:42Speaker 1: and the Senate unites behind President Trump and passes this
- 6:46Speaker 1: popular and essential legislative package. This bill will be the
- 6:50Speaker 1: single most pro small business, pro family, and pro American
- 6:55Speaker 1: worker legislation ever. This bill will give Americans the large
- 7:00Speaker 1: tax cuts in our nation's history. When Republicans pass the bill,
- 7:04Speaker 1: Americans will be keeping more of their hard earned money
- 7:07Speaker 1: and taking home much bigger paychecks. The One Big Beautiful
- 7:11Speaker 1: Bill will deliver some of President Trump's central campaign promises.
- 7:15Speaker 1: No tax on tips for our hardworking waiters, waitresses, and
- 7:18Speaker 1: service workers. No tax on overtime for our law enforcement officers,
- 7:23Speaker 1: our firefighters and all those who Americans who are putting
- 7:26Speaker 1: in extra hours to make ends meet, and a large
- 7:30Speaker 1: tax deduction on interest payments for Americans who purchase American
- 7:34Speaker 1: made cars Despite desperate Democrat lies, the biggest beneficiary of
- 7:39Speaker 1: this tax cut will be working class Americans in their families.
- 7:43Speaker 1: Americans earning between thirty thousand dollars and eighty thousand dollars
- 7:47Speaker 1: per year will pay about fifteen percent less in taxes
- 7:51Speaker 1: after this legislation is passed. And according to a brand
- 7:54Speaker 1: new paper from the White House Consul of Economic Advisors,
- 7:58Speaker 1: the average family with two two children's take home pay
- 8:01Speaker 1: will be up to thirteen thousand dollars higher because of
- 8:05Speaker 1: the increase in wages and reductions in tax obligations. The
- 8:09Speaker 1: CEA study also said that the average overtime worker receives
- 8:13Speaker 1: a tax cut of roughly two thousand dollars.
- 8:16Speaker 2: Again, this is great news.
- 8:18Speaker 1: For our nurses, our police officers, and all those who
- 8:21Speaker 1: work overtime to make ends meet across our country. Put simply,
- 8:25Speaker 1: President Trump's one Big Beautiful Bill will be a boon
- 8:28Speaker 1: for working class America. This one Big Beautiful Bill is
- 8:31Speaker 1: also pro family. It will increase the child tax credit
- 8:34Speaker 1: to twenty five hundred dollars per.
- 8:36Speaker 2: Child, establish optional savings.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Account for newborn babies with a one thousand dollars credit added,
- 8:42Speaker 1: and strengthen.
- 8:43Speaker 2: Paid family leave.
- 8:45Speaker 1: This bill also delivers historic tax relief to America's seniors
- 8:48Speaker 1: by allowing middle and low income Social Security recipients to
- 8:52Speaker 1: deduct an additional four thousand dollars in payments from their
- 8:55Speaker 1: taxable income. If Democrats get their way and the Trump
- 8:59Speaker 1: tax cuts are no extended, Americans will face the largest
- 9:03Speaker 1: tax hike in history, to the tune of four trillion dollars.
- 9:07Speaker 1: Republicans must not side with Democrats in helping them raise taxes.
- 9:12Speaker 1: The One Big Beautiful Bill also provides critical protections of
- 9:15Speaker 1: Medicaid which will strengthen and preserve the program for decades
- 9:19Speaker 1: to come. Through common sense efforts to eliminate waste, fraud,
- 9:22Speaker 1: and abuse, Medicaid will no longer be used to pay
- 9:26Speaker 1: for barbaric gender mutilation procedures on minor children, and the
- 9:30Speaker 1: one point four million illegal aliens who are currently improperly
- 9:34Speaker 1: receiving Medicaid benefits will be kicked off the program to
- 9:37Speaker 1: preserve it for hard working American citizens who need it.
- 9:41Speaker 1: President Trump and Republicans are protecting Medicaid benefits for pregnant women, children,
- 9:46Speaker 1: disabled individuals, low income seniors and families, and the most
- 9:50Speaker 1: vulnerable Americans in our society.
- 9:52Speaker 2: And that's what Democrats are so angry about.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Basic Medicaid protections that will stop the funding of transgender
- 9:59Speaker 1: and sanity and illegal aliens from ripping off American taxpayers.
- 10:04Speaker 1: As you all know, over his first four months in office,
- 10:06Speaker 1: President Trump ended the previous administration's open border crisis and
- 10:10Speaker 1: secured our homeland in record time, all using executive authority.
- 10:15Speaker 1: Now Congress needs to act. The One Big Beautiful Bill
- 10:18Speaker 1: is the most significant investment in our nation's border patrol
- 10:22Speaker 1: and law enforcement agents in our nation's history. The bill
- 10:26Speaker 1: ensures that President Trump's popular and successful border security measures
- 10:30Speaker 1: are made permanent. Republicans have the backs of border patrol
- 10:34Speaker 1: and ICE agents who were put through hell over the
- 10:36Speaker 1: past four years and have quickly worked to secure our
- 10:39Speaker 1: southern border. And that's why this bill gives them more
- 10:42Speaker 1: resources to do their jobs, including a ten thousand dollars
- 10:45Speaker 1: much needed bonus to ICE agents and border patrol agents
- 10:48Speaker 1: over the next four years to provide those brave agents
- 10:52Speaker 1: with desperately needed reinforcements on the ground. The bill allows
- 10:55Speaker 1: for the hiring of thousands of new ice personnel, customs officers,
- 10:59Speaker 1: and border patrol abias. These significant hirings will empower President
- 11:03Speaker 1: Trump to continue delivering on his promise to carry out
- 11:06Speaker 1: the largest mass deportation in the history of our country. Again,
- 11:10Speaker 1: that is a promise that Republicans made to American voters.
- 11:13Speaker 1: It's a promise they were elected on, and it's a
- 11:15Speaker 1: promised Republicans on Capitol Hill need to keep secure our border.
- 11:20Speaker 1: To supplement those efforts, the bill fund The bill's funds
- 11:24Speaker 1: will fund the completion of President Trumps signature border wall.
- 11:27Speaker 1: As a result, seven hundred and one miles of primary wall,
- 11:31Speaker 1: nine hundred miles of river barriers, six hundred and twenty
- 11:34Speaker 1: nine miles of secondary barriers, and one hundred and forty
- 11:37Speaker 1: one miles a vehicle and pedestrian barriers will be constructed
- 11:40Speaker 1: when this bill passes, along with cutting edge technology to
- 11:44Speaker 1: secure our homeland from dangerous illegal alien invaders. This bill
- 11:48Speaker 1: also advances our national security and defense interests by ensuring
- 11:52Speaker 1: the United States military has the necessary resources to remain
- 11:56Speaker 1: the strongest and most lethal fighting force in the world.
- 12:00Speaker 1: The bill will provide resources for the construction of President
- 12:03Speaker 1: Trump's Golden Dome to safeguard Americans from potential tax give
- 12:07Speaker 1: the Coast Guard resources to build more modernized ships, and
- 12:10Speaker 1: the Air Force resources to acquire better planes. If all
- 12:13Speaker 1: of those incredible things were not enough, the Big Beautiful
- 12:16Speaker 1: Bill also finally modernizes air traffic control in America. A
- 12:21Speaker 1: bipartisan issue, the bill will allow President Trump to deliver
- 12:24Speaker 1: on his promise to overhaul and update our air traffic
- 12:27Speaker 1: control systems to keep Americans flying as safe and efficiently
- 12:31Speaker 1: as possible. The previous administration failed to act and do
- 12:35Speaker 1: this themselves despite repeated warnings from the GAO, which has
- 12:38Speaker 1: resulted in unacceptable delays at major airports like Newark that
- 12:42Speaker 1: the Trump administration is working hard to address. When the
- 12:45Speaker 1: One Big Beautiful Bill passes, we will replace the current
- 12:48Speaker 1: antiquated system. The FAA will enhance safety in our skies,
- 12:52Speaker 1: reduce delays, empower the future of air travel in the
- 12:55Speaker 1: United States. That's just some of what this historic legislation
- 12:59Speaker 1: will accomplish. It is absolutely essential that Republicans unite behind
- 13:04Speaker 1: the One Big Beautiful Bill and deliver on President Trump's agenda.
- 13:08Speaker 2: There is no time to waste.
- 13:10Speaker 1: Americans gave Republicans a once in a generation opportunity to
- 13:13Speaker 1: course correct our country over many wrongs over the past
- 13:17Speaker 1: four years, and Americans are counting on Republicans to work
- 13:20Speaker 1: as hard as President Trump is in this White House
- 13:22Speaker 1: every day on Capitol Hill.
- 13:24Speaker 2: Send this legislation to his desk as soon as possible
- 13:27Speaker 2: for his signature.
- 13:28Speaker 1: Here in our new media seat today we have Liam Crosgrove,
- 13:31Speaker 1: the White House correspondent for Zero Hedge with that BM
- 13:33Speaker 1: please kick us off.
- 13:35Speaker 3: Thank you, Caroline. So, first questions on foreign policy. Sure,
- 13:38Speaker 3: the President has made several moves towards peace and multiple
- 13:42Speaker 3: fronts India Pakistan with the hoot of the who Thi's
- 13:45Speaker 3: talking with Ran and talking with Putin. Biden didn't even
- 13:48Speaker 3: talk to Putin for the entire span of the war,
- 13:50Speaker 3: which is crazy considering two nuclear powers, we're engaged in
- 13:53Speaker 3: a proxy war. So I do admire these moves by
- 13:56Speaker 3: the current president, I'll be honest. However, as of today,
- 14:01Speaker 3: we are still funding both Israel's and Ukraine's wars. So
- 14:05Speaker 3: can Americans expect to finally be done financing foreign wars
- 14:10Speaker 3: at some point? With if you consider that one of
- 14:12Speaker 3: the president's goals, well.
- 14:14Speaker 1: I think I summarize the President's foreign policy agenda with
- 14:18Speaker 1: two words America first, and that means putting the American
- 14:21Speaker 1: people in the American taxpayer first. And that's why the
- 14:24Speaker 1: President is moving as quickly as he possibly can and
- 14:27Speaker 1: working over time to end these conflicts in both Israel
- 14:31Speaker 1: and Gaza and also the Russia Ukraine war. As you
- 14:34Speaker 1: all know, the President will be speaking with Putin at
- 14:37Speaker 1: ten o'clock. He plans to call President Zelenski when that
- 14:40Speaker 1: call concludes. I spoke to the President about that call
- 14:42Speaker 1: at ten o'clock. I don't want to get ahead of
- 14:44Speaker 1: those very important conversations, but of course you will hear
- 14:47Speaker 1: directly from the President or me after those calls conclude today,
- 14:51Speaker 1: so you can expect that. As for Israel in Gaza,
- 14:54Speaker 1: the President continues to not only himself but his national
- 14:58Speaker 1: security team engage in talks on both sides of this conflict.
- 15:02Speaker 1: The President made it very clear to Hamas that he
- 15:04Speaker 1: wanted to see all hostages released. In last week when
- 15:08Speaker 1: we were flying out of town, there was great news
- 15:11Speaker 1: on that front with the return of den Alexander, who
- 15:13Speaker 1: was the last remaining hostage in Gaza. So to answer
- 15:16Speaker 1: your question, the President is always thinking about the American people,
- 15:19Speaker 1: the American taxpayer first. He wants these conflicts to end,
- 15:22Speaker 1: not just to save money, but most importantly, to save lives.
- 15:26Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 15:26Speaker 3: And my only other question for you is so over
- 15:29Speaker 3: the weekend, President Trump posted truth social video highlighting what
- 15:34Speaker 3: most people call the Clinton BodyCount, which is the strange
- 15:37Speaker 3: number of suicides that seemed to happen in Clinton circles.
- 15:41Speaker 3: I have a headline here from the Washington Post that
- 15:42Speaker 3: said Trump pedal's false conspiracy theories tying the Clintons to
- 15:46Speaker 3: several deaths. So I just wanted to highlight real quick,
- 15:49Speaker 3: this wasn't in Trump's video, but this is from the
- 15:51Speaker 3: Arkansas Times, and it's the death of Mark Middleton, who
- 15:55Speaker 3: was a former Clinton White House aid who was found
- 15:58Speaker 3: dead on a Clinton Foundation property. And i'll just quote
- 16:00Speaker 3: from the Arkansas Times. Middleton apparently shot himself in the
- 16:04Speaker 3: chest with a shotgun and also hung himself from a
- 16:06Speaker 3: tree with an extension court. So I have no idea
- 16:10Speaker 3: how somebody commits suicide that way, but if the Washington
- 16:12Speaker 3: Post is here, maybe you can enlighten us as to
- 16:14Speaker 3: how that was actually a suicide. So anyways, that's just
- 16:17Speaker 3: to lead into my question about the most famous Clinton
- 16:20Speaker 3: related suicide, which is that of Jeffrey Epstein. There's still
- 16:24Speaker 3: a lot of questions around that case. You've released Phase
- 16:27Speaker 3: one of the Epstein files. What was missing from that
- 16:30Speaker 3: is any connection to his ties to intelligence agencies, And
- 16:32Speaker 3: that's really the whole story that not just trafficking young girls,
- 16:36Speaker 3: doing it on behalf of intelligence agencies and even potentially
- 16:40Speaker 3: as part of a blackmail ring with potential ties to
- 16:43Speaker 3: the Israeli government. So for Phase two, when can we
- 16:47Speaker 3: expect it? Will it have information pertending to those aspects
- 16:51Speaker 3: of the Epstein case.
- 16:52Speaker 1: I know the attorneys has committed to releasing those files.
- 16:55Speaker 1: I would defer you to the Department of Justice on
- 16:57Speaker 1: her timeline, But when she has made a promise in
- 16:59Speaker 1: the past, has kept it, and I'm certain that she
- 17:01Speaker 1: will in this case as well.
- 17:03Speaker 2: Rachel, thanks so much.
- 17:04Speaker 5: Kiera Lyon, the President set a two week deadline for
- 17:07Speaker 5: Ukraine and Russia to negotiate a deal. That time is
- 17:10Speaker 5: now up. Does the President intend to set a new
- 17:12Speaker 5: deadline on this call with President Putin?
- 17:14Speaker 2: And how much longer is he willing to give these talks.
- 17:16Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't want to get ahead of the specific
- 17:18Speaker 1: the conversation the President will be having with President Putin
- 17:21Speaker 1: in less than an hour this morning. But he has
- 17:24Speaker 1: made clear throughout the entirety of this conflict since he
- 17:26Speaker 1: inherited it from Joe Biden.
- 17:28Speaker 2: Don't forget.
- 17:29Speaker 1: This is a war that began because of the previous
- 17:31Speaker 1: administrations and competence and weakness, and President Trump is working
- 17:34Speaker 1: very hard to fix it. He has made it clear
- 17:36Speaker 1: to both sides that he wants to see a peaceful
- 17:38Speaker 1: resolution and a ceasefire as soon as possible. But as
- 17:42Speaker 1: for specifics on a timeline, I won't get ahead of
- 17:44Speaker 1: the president, and just.
- 17:45Speaker 5: On the goals for this call in particular, is the
- 17:48Speaker 5: goal the goal to get Putin to agree to a
- 17:50Speaker 5: cease fire. Is the goal to lead to some sort
- 17:53Speaker 5: of in person negotiations with Putin and the President?
- 17:55Speaker 2: Well, I think again, we'll see how the call good.
- 17:58Speaker 1: The President has made it clear his goal is to
- 18:00Speaker 1: see a ceasefire and to see this conflict come to
- 18:02Speaker 1: an end, and he's grown weary and frustrated with both
- 18:04Speaker 1: sides of the conflict. The President and his team have
- 18:07Speaker 1: put an enormous amount of effort in solving this very
- 18:10Speaker 1: complicated war that again began because of the last administration's weakness.
- 18:14Speaker 6: He still want to meet Footin personally.
- 18:17Speaker 1: I think the President would certainly be open to that.
- 18:19Speaker 1: But let's see how this call goes today.
- 18:20Speaker 5: What's the status of the second secondary sanctioned pack which
- 18:23Speaker 5: the President's been talking about that you haven't imposed them yet,
- 18:26Speaker 5: but it's actually.
- 18:27Speaker 6: On the tape.
- 18:28Speaker 2: I think everything's on the table.
- 18:29Speaker 1: And again I won't get ahead of the President in
- 18:31Speaker 1: any commitments or decisions, but certainly it's something he's been
- 18:34Speaker 1: looking at and discussing.
- 18:35Speaker 5: Elen Hiken, I want to ask you about the House
- 18:38Speaker 5: Bill Uget Bill.
- 18:39Speaker 6: So does the President agree with Republicans minds filled that
- 18:43Speaker 6: Medicaid work requirements should be implemented as soon as twenty
- 18:46Speaker 6: twenty six.
- 18:47Speaker 1: So the President wants to serve and protect Medicaid for
- 18:51Speaker 1: Americans who This program was intended for the most vulnerable
- 18:55Speaker 1: in our society, pregnant women, low income families, seniors, those
- 18:59Speaker 1: who truly need these benefits, and it should be going
- 19:03Speaker 1: to people who physically cannot work. We want to see
- 19:07Speaker 1: able bodied Americans at least working twenty hours per week,
- 19:12Speaker 1: whether that's part time or full time, whether that's even
- 19:14Speaker 1: looking for work or volunteering for twenty hours a week,
- 19:17Speaker 1: if they are receiving medicaid. These are common sense provisions.
- 19:22Speaker 1: These are common sense changes that were actually introduced by
- 19:25Speaker 1: former Democrat President Clinton. They've been supported by every Democrat
- 19:29Speaker 1: president since, including the previous President Joe Biden. But again,
- 19:33Speaker 1: these are common sense reforms to ensure that those that
- 19:37Speaker 1: this program was intended for receive those benefits. And just
- 19:40Speaker 1: a quick fallow, is the President okay with this bill
- 19:45Speaker 1: adding to the deficit.
- 19:47Speaker 2: This bill is not the deficit.
- 19:48Speaker 1: In fact, according to the Council of Economic Advisors, this
- 19:52Speaker 1: bill will save one point six trillion dollars. And the
- 19:56Speaker 1: President absolutely understands. And here's the concerns of phil school
- 20:00Speaker 1: conservatives and of Americans who want to get our fiscal
- 20:03Speaker 1: house in order.
- 20:03Speaker 2: That's what the intention of this bill is.
- 20:06Speaker 1: There's one point six trillion dollars worth of savings in
- 20:08Speaker 1: this bill. That's the largest savings for any legislation that
- 20:12Speaker 1: has ever passed Capitol Hill in our nation's history. The
- 20:16Speaker 1: next bill that even comes close was eight hundred billion dollars.
- 20:18Speaker 1: That's less than half of the savings that we see
- 20:21Speaker 1: in the one big, beautiful bill. And so the goal
- 20:24Speaker 1: of this bill is to produce economic growth, to cut taxes,
- 20:28Speaker 1: and to get our fiscal house in order. And this
- 20:30Speaker 1: is the right step in the right direction towards doing that.
- 20:32Speaker 2: Edward, Yes, thanks, and then I'll go to you, thank you.
- 20:36Speaker 4: I'm going to get the president's reaction to Moodies downgrading
- 20:38Speaker 4: the credit rating credit rating of the United States.
- 20:42Speaker 2: Sure.
- 20:42Speaker 1: Well, Look, the President talked about this over the weekend.
- 20:45Speaker 1: The Secretary of Treasury also talked about it. When you
- 20:48Speaker 1: look at the world, the world has confidence in the
- 20:50Speaker 1: United States of America and our economy.
- 20:53Speaker 2: Once again.
- 20:53Speaker 1: The President just last week secured trillions of dollars in
- 20:57Speaker 1: investments from countries in the Middle East. We have seen
- 21:00Speaker 1: billions of dollars of investments flowing into our economy since
- 21:04Speaker 1: the President took office.
- 21:05Speaker 2: That is because America.
- 21:08Speaker 1: People around the world have confidence in the United States
- 21:10Speaker 1: of America. And if you also just look at the
- 21:12Speaker 1: raw economic data that we're seeing. Last week when we
- 21:14Speaker 1: were out of town, inflation dropped once again. Oil prices
- 21:17Speaker 1: are dropping, gas prices are dropping. The President has added
- 21:20Speaker 1: nearly a half million jobs to the American economy already,
- 21:24Speaker 1: so there's a lot of optimism in this economy.
- 21:26Speaker 2: And the President disagrees with that assessment.
- 21:28Speaker 4: And I want to ask you when we're think I could
- 21:30Speaker 4: on your Middle East trip, the United Arab Emrab Emirates
- 21:32Speaker 4: is getting some of the most advanced AI chips, so
- 21:35Speaker 4: there's agreements there. The UAE is the newest member of bricks.
- 21:38Speaker 4: Is there a concern from the President that those chips
- 21:40Speaker 4: and the technology will pass through to China, India, Russia
- 21:44Speaker 4: and Iran.
- 21:45Speaker 1: Part of going to the Middle East was to ensure
- 21:47Speaker 1: that is part of the region. Our golf partners know
- 21:51Speaker 1: that the United States of America is there for them
- 21:53Speaker 1: again and that they should be investing in the United States,
- 21:56Speaker 1: not in China. And these AI agreements, particularly the one
- 22:00Speaker 1: the Secretary of Commerce signed in the UAE, has security
- 22:04Speaker 1: guarantees to ensure that China is not getting the advantage
- 22:07Speaker 1: but the United States is getting the advantage when it
- 22:09Speaker 1: comes to AI, and that the UAE and the US
- 22:12Speaker 1: are working hand in hand together to invest in this space.
- 22:15Speaker 1: So read the agreements, their security guarantees. And this was
- 22:19Speaker 1: a great trip for the country, no doubt, go ahead.
- 22:21Speaker 7: Thanks Calen.
- 22:23Speaker 8: Prime Minister Netsan Yahoo of Israel has said today that
- 22:26Speaker 8: Israel will take control of all of Gaza. Is that
- 22:30Speaker 8: a goal that President Trump is comfortable with? All that
- 22:33Speaker 8: he supports.
- 22:35Speaker 1: I'll have to talk to that in about those comments
- 22:37Speaker 1: as they just came, I believe from the Prime Minister
- 22:39Speaker 1: this morning, and I'll let him speak on that. The
- 22:41Speaker 1: President has made it very clear he wants to see
- 22:44Speaker 1: this conflict in the region end. He wants all hostages
- 22:46Speaker 1: to be released. He was pleased that Eton Alexander was
- 22:50Speaker 1: returned home safely to his loving family. The President spoke
- 22:54Speaker 1: with Eden directly while we were traveling to the Middle
- 22:57Speaker 1: East last week. As for the Prime Minister's comments, I'll
- 23:00Speaker 1: let the President himself respond to those.
- 23:02Speaker 2: Sure.
- 23:04Speaker 9: How about the two questions one, how involved does the
- 23:06Speaker 9: President intend to be directly in talking to House members
- 23:10Speaker 9: about the bill over the next couple of weeks of
- 23:12Speaker 9: the next Thanks.
- 23:13Speaker 1: Well, over the weekend, the President was in direct conversation
- 23:16Speaker 1: and communication with the Speaker of the House.
- 23:18Speaker 2: He's been very involved. He always is.
- 23:20Speaker 1: He's willing to pick up the phone when he is
- 23:23Speaker 1: asked to, so he'll continue to be very engaged in
- 23:25Speaker 1: this process with both House members and his friends on
- 23:28Speaker 1: the Senate side as well.
- 23:29Speaker 9: And on former President Biden's cancer diagnosis, the President put
- 23:33Speaker 9: out a very nice message on through social Has he
- 23:37Speaker 9: talked to President Biden directly? Does he intend to call,
- 23:40Speaker 9: what does he intend to say directly?
- 23:42Speaker 1: Not to my knowledge, I don't believe they have spoken,
- 23:44Speaker 1: but I'm sure the President would be open to doing that.
- 23:46Speaker 1: I spoke to him last night about the former president's
- 23:49Speaker 1: cancer diagnosis, and the statement that he put out was
- 23:53Speaker 1: the initial reaction he had with me on the phone
- 23:55Speaker 1: as well.
- 23:56Speaker 2: Peter follow up.
- 23:57Speaker 7: I'm former President Biden White House doctors may have missed
- 24:02Speaker 7: the early stages of this prosty cancer. So is President
- 24:06Speaker 7: Trump worried about the quality of care that presidents get here?
- 24:12Speaker 1: Not as far as President Trump is concerned. The White
- 24:15Speaker 1: House physician we have here is phenomenal, and the team
- 24:18Speaker 1: of physicians that take care of the President, particularly at
- 24:21Speaker 1: Walter Reed Medical Center, are great. The President had his
- 24:24Speaker 1: physical recently, as you know, he had perfect results. He's
- 24:27Speaker 1: in very good shape. I think those of you who
- 24:29Speaker 1: traveled to the Middle East with us last week could
- 24:31Speaker 1: attest to.
- 24:32Speaker 2: The President's endurance. And by the way, I will add.
- 24:35Speaker 1: We returned home from a very long and tiring trip
- 24:38Speaker 1: last week and on Saturday, where was the President in
- 24:41Speaker 1: the Oval Office? Working all day? He doesn't stop, he
- 24:44Speaker 1: doesn't quit. He's in great health, and he trusts his physicians.
- 24:47Speaker 7: Two more thanks. Putin ghosted everybody buddy at these peace
- 24:51Speaker 7: talks last week. As President Trump phones him today to
- 24:55Speaker 7: try to figure out an end to the Ukraine War,
- 24:57Speaker 7: does he think that Putin is the good guy for
- 25:00Speaker 7: the bad gap.
- 25:02Speaker 1: Let the President speak on that conversation later. He's made
- 25:05Speaker 1: his feelings about both sides of this war quite clear
- 25:09Speaker 1: throughout it.
- 25:10Speaker 2: He wants to see an end any last one.
- 25:12Speaker 7: What does President Trump mean when he says that Taylor
- 25:16Speaker 7: Swift is no longer high?
- 25:20Speaker 1: Look, he is speaking about Taylor Swift's political views and
- 25:24Speaker 1: how perhaps it has impacted the support of the American
- 25:27Speaker 1: public for her work.
- 25:28Speaker 2: And I will leave it at that, Annie, go ahead,
- 25:30Speaker 2: than thanks so much, Callan.
- 25:31Speaker 10: I'm just going back one more time to the White
- 25:34Speaker 10: Housebandical Office because there seems to be some question about
- 25:37Speaker 10: this with regard to President Biden's screening. Can you say
- 25:40Speaker 10: whether or not President Trump is screening for prostate cancer
- 25:43Speaker 10: as part of his physical To the best of.
- 25:45Speaker 2: My understanding, he is.
- 25:47Speaker 1: But we can certainly check in with the White House
- 25:49Speaker 1: physician and go back and look at that physical report.
- 25:51Speaker 2: And there's just one other question.
- 25:52Speaker 10: Recently, Stephen Miller at the White House made some comments
- 25:57Speaker 10: about considering suspender habeas purpose, and I'm curious if there's
- 26:02Speaker 10: any update on how the White House is exploring that
- 26:05Speaker 10: option to not the president's agenda.
- 26:08Speaker 1: I don't have any update at this time, but I
- 26:10Speaker 1: can check in with our deputy chief of Staff, Mary Margaret.
- 26:13Speaker 2: Go ahead, thanks Caroline.
- 26:14Speaker 11: Given the ongoing revelations about the former president's on mental
- 26:18Speaker 11: acuity and how staff and media covered that up, especially
- 26:22Speaker 11: with the release of this book on two days, I think,
- 26:26Speaker 11: is there any interest in further scrutiny of Kevin O'Connor
- 26:28Speaker 11: the former president's position.
- 26:31Speaker 2: I'll let the President speak on that.
- 26:32Speaker 1: I spoke to the President again about the former president's
- 26:36Speaker 1: health diagnosis last night, and he wanted to extend his
- 26:39Speaker 1: warmest wishes to the former president and his family.
- 26:42Speaker 2: But as for any further action, I'll let the President
- 26:45Speaker 2: speak on that first. Michelle.
- 26:46Speaker 11: Vice President Vancey's meeting with Silenski.
- 26:48Speaker 2: Can you share any more information on that.
- 26:51Speaker 1: My understanding was it was a good meeting, a productive meeting,
- 26:55Speaker 1: and we're grateful that the Vice President did it and
- 26:58Speaker 1: that he also went to the Hope's first Mass in Rome.
- 27:01Speaker 2: I also have an update on that.
- 27:03Speaker 1: The Vice President passed along a letter to the Pope
- 27:06Speaker 1: from the President and from the First Lady extending their
- 27:09Speaker 1: warm wishes and inviting them to the White House as
- 27:11Speaker 1: soon as they possibly can come. Michelle and Iran Steet
- 27:15Speaker 1: wood Coffa yesterday that you continued in Richmond is a
- 27:17Speaker 1: red line for the US Urine Foreign Ministrators that's going to.
- 27:20Speaker 2: Continue no matter what.
- 27:22Speaker 3: How committed is the US to that red line, what's
- 27:24Speaker 3: the next step for the next round of talks.
- 27:25Speaker 1: We are one hundred percent committed to that red line.
- 27:28Speaker 1: The President, Special on Voy wit Cough, Secretary Rubio have
- 27:31Speaker 1: made that incredibly clear, not just to the American public,
- 27:35Speaker 1: but also in those discussions that Special.
- 27:37Speaker 2: On Boy Witcoff has had directly with the Iranians and
- 27:39Speaker 2: the next round of talks. I don't have an update
- 27:42Speaker 2: for you, but we can get one to the back row.
- 27:45Speaker 2: Go ahead, Thank you.
- 27:45Speaker 9: Carolin South Africa's the president says he's going to come
- 27:48Speaker 9: to the White House Committee with.
- 27:50Speaker 7: President Trump on Wednesday.
- 27:51Speaker 3: What are the President's expectations for that trip?
- 27:54Speaker 7: And South Amborga president recently said he believes the folks
- 27:57Speaker 7: that have been resettled here recently are powers running away
- 28:00Speaker 7: from the problems in South Amberka.
- 28:02Speaker 1: Because the White I was ever response to that, So
- 28:04Speaker 1: I did see the South African president put out that statement.
- 28:07Speaker 1: I want to confirm an our end with our Secretary
- 28:09Speaker 1: of State and National Security Advisor and we'll get back
- 28:11Speaker 1: to you on that.
- 28:12Speaker 2: Monica.
- 28:13Speaker 1: Thanks Carolyn, you mentioned the President the First Lady are
- 28:15Speaker 1: signing the Store Take It.
- 28:17Speaker 7: Down Act this afternoon.
- 28:18Speaker 2: I'm curious, you know, what are some of the.
- 28:19Speaker 1: Repercussions or consequences for these online platforms?
- 28:22Speaker 2: Are perpetrators that will comply with you? A. Well, what
- 28:25Speaker 2: this bill does.
- 28:25Speaker 1: It takes the initial step to ensure that prosecutors are
- 28:28Speaker 1: able to take down That's why it's called the Take
- 28:32Speaker 1: It Down Act platforms that are allowing this sexually explicit
- 28:36Speaker 1: content on their platform, so it gives them more leeway
- 28:39Speaker 1: to go after them as they see fit. But as
- 28:41Speaker 1: for specific repercussions, I would defer you to the Department
- 28:44Speaker 1: of Justice of how they plan to implement this bill
- 28:47Speaker 1: once it is signed later today.
- 28:48Speaker 2: Brian, Yes, thank you.
- 28:50Speaker 1: You said in your opening statement you talked about this
- 28:53Speaker 1: bag of baby Satan's account exactly.
- 28:56Speaker 4: How would that work?
- 28:58Speaker 6: We will be eligible for it on this women would
- 29:01Speaker 6: be helpable for that.
- 29:02Speaker 1: Yes, so one of the provisions in the One Big
- 29:06Speaker 1: Beautiful Bill. As I said, this is a very pro
- 29:08Speaker 1: family piece of legislation. Not only does it increase the
- 29:12Speaker 1: child tax credit, but it also includes MAGA baby savings
- 29:16Speaker 1: accounts for children that are born before January first, twenty
- 29:20Speaker 1: twenty four, under eight years old US citizens and have
- 29:24Speaker 1: at least one parent with a valid Social Security number,
- 29:28Speaker 1: and when this tax provision becomes law, the child, if
- 29:32Speaker 1: the parents seek to do this, will be set up
- 29:35Speaker 1: with a savings account. Essentially, it's a four oh one
- 29:37Speaker 1: K for a newborn baby in child's relatives. Their parents
- 29:42Speaker 1: can contribute up to five thousand dollars per year of
- 29:46Speaker 1: after tax dollars annually to that account, and then later
- 29:50Speaker 1: in the baby's life at age twenty five, savings account
- 29:53Speaker 1: holders can withdraw up to the full balance of the
- 29:55Speaker 1: account upon reaching thirty. The account holders can access the
- 29:59Speaker 1: full balance of the account for any purpose desired. So
- 30:02Speaker 1: it's a great initiative for new parents new mothers who
- 30:05Speaker 1: want to set up the savings account for their children.
- 30:08Speaker 2: We ja thank you, Carolyn.
- 30:09Speaker 6: President Trump and his top economic aids have repeatedly said
- 30:13Speaker 6: that America Americans will.
- 30:14Speaker 2: Not pay the cost of tariffs.
- 30:16Speaker 10: In fact, last week, Letnix said people have to drop
- 30:19Speaker 10: the quote silly arguments that consumers would.
- 30:22Speaker 2: Pay the costs.
- 30:24Speaker 10: But over the weekend, as you know, the President posted
- 30:27Speaker 10: that Walmart should eat the tariffs and not charge the
- 30:31Speaker 10: value customer anything.
- 30:32Speaker 5: I'll be watching and so will your customers.
- 30:35Speaker 2: So does he acknowledge that if companies.
- 30:38Speaker 5: Don't absorb the full cost, Americans will have to pay.
- 30:42Speaker 8: Well.
- 30:42Speaker 1: First of all, the CEO or made those comments about
- 30:45Speaker 1: the tariffs on an early earnings call, where CEOs I
- 30:48Speaker 1: believe are legally obligated to give the most dire warnings
- 30:51Speaker 1: and forecast to their investors in stakeholders. The reality is
- 30:56Speaker 1: is the President has always maintained a Chinese producers will
- 30:59Speaker 1: be absorbing the of these tariffs, and that is why
- 31:02Speaker 1: China was so quick to hustle to the negotiating table
- 31:04Speaker 1: with the United States of America. They need our markets,
- 31:07Speaker 1: they need our consumers. And I would again point you
- 31:10Speaker 1: to the inflation report that came out last week showing
- 31:12Speaker 1: that inflation is declining in large part because energy prices
- 31:17Speaker 1: are dropping across the board in this country because of
- 31:20Speaker 1: the President's robust energy agenda that he has taken since
- 31:24Speaker 1: January twentieth. So the President is committed to ensuring that
- 31:27Speaker 1: prices remain low for American consumers. And he maintains the
- 31:31Speaker 1: position that foreign countries will absorb these tariffs.
- 31:33Speaker 7: Which does he mean by all be watching to Walmart.
- 31:37Speaker 2: He'll be watching seeing what they're doing.
- 31:38Speaker 6: Jennifer on the gift plane from Qatar, three things, Is
- 31:42Speaker 6: there a timeline for the US receiving that plane? Do
- 31:46Speaker 6: you know how long it will take to retrofit the
- 31:48Speaker 6: plane to presidential standards? And Thirdly, has the intelligence community
- 31:53Speaker 6: security folks have they weighed in on whether that plane
- 31:56Speaker 6: can actually be security to presidential standards.
- 31:59Speaker 1: I'm glad you brought up this question because I was
- 32:01Speaker 1: watching the American press spew a lot of misinformation about
- 32:05Speaker 1: the plane donation last week when we were abroad. Let's
- 32:09Speaker 1: be very clear the government of Qatar. The Katari family
- 32:12Speaker 1: has offered to donate this plane to the United States
- 32:16Speaker 1: Air Force, where that donation will be accepted according to
- 32:21Speaker 1: all legal and ethical obligations. It will be retrofitted to
- 32:25Speaker 1: the highest of standards by the Department of Defense in
- 32:29Speaker 1: the United States Air Force. This plane is not a
- 32:31Speaker 1: personal donation or a gift to the President of the
- 32:34Speaker 1: United States, And everyone who wrote that last week should
- 32:36Speaker 1: go and correct their stories, because this is a donation
- 32:39Speaker 1: to our country and to the United States Air Force.
- 32:42Speaker 1: As for a timeline, because it is the United States
- 32:44Speaker 1: Air Force that is accepting the plane, I would defer
- 32:46Speaker 1: you to them for specifics because the President, frankly, has
- 32:50Speaker 1: nothing to do with it.
- 32:51Speaker 2: It's the Air Force's project to take on Sure.
- 32:55Speaker 1: Thanks so much to Carelian and the President call fiscal
- 32:58Speaker 1: conservatives who are hesit to vote for the big beautiful bill,
- 33:01Speaker 1: and if so, what did they say?
- 33:02Speaker 2: What did he say?
- 33:03Speaker 1: But I don't reveal the president's private discussions unless he
- 33:07Speaker 1: gives me the liberty too. But he has been engaged
- 33:09Speaker 1: in this process. He spoke to the Speaker of the House,
- 33:12Speaker 1: and he will continue to make those phone calls.
- 33:14Speaker 2: If it's necessary for him. Sure, thank thank you, Carol,
- 33:18Speaker 2: I'll go to both of you.
- 33:19Speaker 7: Go ahead, thank you.
- 33:20Speaker 9: Any updates on Greenland? Will the President be making any trips?
- 33:23Speaker 9: And do we have any detail that you can share
- 33:25Speaker 9: with us.
- 33:25Speaker 1: I don't have any future for us to read out
- 33:28Speaker 1: for you. We just returned home from one. But the
- 33:30Speaker 1: President maintains the reasoning for Greenland's strategic purposes in the Arctic,
- 33:37Speaker 1: and he continues to remain committed to the idea of
- 33:41Speaker 1: obtaining Greenland in whatever means we can to advance our
- 33:45Speaker 1: national security interests in the region.
- 33:48Speaker 8: Thank you, Everline, I have a question. Was leven On
- 33:50Speaker 8: part of the discussion during the Middle East tour and
- 33:53Speaker 8: did you meet with any of presentatives.
- 33:57Speaker 1: To manage The President did not meet with any representatives
- 34:00Speaker 1: from Lebanon, although he did talk about the election that
- 34:03Speaker 1: they recently had there and how he hopes that Lebanon
- 34:06Speaker 1: can come to a more peaceful place in their country
- 34:09Speaker 1: and that we drive out hesb Iranian backed Hesbola proxies
- 34:13Speaker 1: in Lebanon to ensure peace and prosperity in that country
- 34:16Speaker 1: and also for the greater Middle Eastern region. And I
- 34:18Speaker 1: would just add to that before I wrap up, because
- 34:20Speaker 1: the President's call will begin in a few minutes.
- 34:22Speaker 2: The President's historic tour.
- 34:24Speaker 1: To the Middle East last week truly reset our foreign
- 34:27Speaker 1: policy agenda in that region. I think actually, in fact,
- 34:31Speaker 1: the Washington Post had a headline, president Trump remakes US
- 34:35Speaker 1: foreign policy in the Middle East, and that's absolutely true.
- 34:38Speaker 1: He took a courageous and bold step to lift sanctions
- 34:41Speaker 1: on Syria. He strengthened our ties with our golf partners,
- 34:45Speaker 1: and he put ran into a very difficult position because
- 34:48Speaker 1: the United States.
- 34:49Speaker 2: Of America is back.
- 34:50Speaker 1: And I will summarize the President's trip with an anecdote
- 34:53Speaker 1: that I heard directly from a member of one of
- 34:56Speaker 1: the foreign delegations. I asked him how hopeful their country
- 35:00Speaker 1: when they learned President Trump won the election, and he
- 35:02Speaker 1: told me, when President Trump won the election, it was
- 35:05Speaker 1: like the lights turned on in a dark room. For
- 35:08Speaker 1: the past four years, to the rest of the.
- 35:10Speaker 2: World, America was dark.
- 35:12Speaker 1: We were unresponsive, We did not pick up the phone,
- 35:14Speaker 1: we did not return calls. All of that has changed
- 35:17Speaker 1: under the leadership of this president. And I think the
- 35:19Speaker 1: world saw that last week with this historic and wildly
- 35:22Speaker 1: successful trip.
- 35:24Speaker 2: And the work continues.
- 35:25Speaker 1: The President will be speaking to President Putin at ten
- 35:27Speaker 1: am and we'll have a readout for you after that call,
- 35:29Speaker 1: and we'll see you in the Rose Garden at three o'clock.
- 35:31Speaker 2: Thanks guys,
