- 0:00>> Skylar: Welcome back, everybody. This is the Q and a part
- 0:03two. We're just going to jump right back into it. So sit
- 0:06tight and enjoy these crazy answers to all of your
- 0:09benders and bruise questions.
- 0:14>> Dave: Brock, this question's coming to you
- 0:17from Breadbowler
- 0:1944.
- 0:21Okay, following the finale,
- 0:24does Brock give up rumble fighting,
- 0:26or is he still competing? Will he compete
- 0:30again?
- 0:30>> Cameron: I could see him competing again,
- 0:34but now that he has to help run the blissful
- 0:36brew, what is he.
- 0:38>> Skylar: I don't got enough time.
- 0:39>> Cameron: I got it.
- 0:40>> Mikayla: I don't know. Ash just ditched us, so, you know,
- 0:43you could too.
- 0:44>> Skylar: To learn how to read.
- 0:45>> Cameron: To learn how to read.
- 0:47>> Cameron: And Sora just keeps bugging him, just
- 0:50like, I don't know, getting married or something. Take a,
- 0:53hint of this lady just can't take a
- 0:56hand.
- 0:56>> Skylar: Do you want to go get coffee? Do you want to go
- 0:59to the theme park? The carnival?
- 1:01>> Cameron: Yeah, just, man, she just won't stop
- 1:04gagging.
- 1:05>> Cameron: I don't know. Kiss.
- 1:07>> Skylar: Do you want to go ring shopping.
- 1:10>> Dave: Until, like, water
- 1:13freezing in winter, it cracks
- 1:16Brock's rock exterior.
- 1:19>> Cameron: That'S right. Sora keep adding, he'll break one of these
- 1:22days.
- 1:23>> Skylar: The question was, does he start back up at Rumble
- 1:26stadium? And the follow up question is, but
- 1:28does something happen between Brock and
- 1:31Sora?
- 1:32>> Cameron: Well, he was very obviously oblivious
- 1:35to any sort of advances being made by Sora.
- 1:38>> Skylar: To what extent do you think, what do you think her breaking point
- 1:41is where she just finally says. She's like, dang
- 1:43it, man, I'm into you.
- 1:46>> Cameron: I don't know. I feel like with the way that.
- 1:48>> Mikayla: Brock, Brock asks her to write a love letter to some
- 1:51old woman.
- 1:54>> Cameron: Like.
- 1:54>> Cameron: Hey, I need help. I need help expressing my love.
- 1:58She's like, oh, really? Oh, okay.
- 2:00>> Skylar: What do you want?
- 2:01>> Cameron: Will you help me write a letter?
- 2:03>> Cameron: He's like, yeah.
- 2:04>> Cameron: And it just starts off like, oh, this
- 2:06classic.
- 2:08>> Skylar: Okay, great.
- 2:09>> Cameron: It's the classic sitcom, thing where, like, the one character
- 2:12thinks the other one likes some, and so they start like, can you
- 2:15help me write this letter? And they think gets to them the whole time. And at the very end,
- 2:18they go, great.
- 2:19>> Cameron: And then I take it out of her hands. I take it over to the
- 2:22pirate.
- 2:23>> Cameron: He writes on the top of the lamp, he closes it up, and he
- 2:26writes, random pirate
- 2:29lady.
- 2:30>> Cameron: She'd be like,
- 2:33perfect. She's in town.
- 2:37And, I, like, dap her up on the way out. She's like, thanks,
- 2:40bro.
- 2:45I think that would have been fantastic.
- 2:46>> Skylar: But I think that's a great scenario.
- 2:48>> Cameron: I think something like, that would sooner happen than
- 2:51Brock realized that Sora's into him.
- 2:54>> Skylar: Sure.
- 2:55>> Cameron: until she literally hits him over the head with a
- 2:58rock, which, honestly.
- 3:00>> Cameron: For him, that's his language. That's his
- 3:03love language.
- 3:04>> Cameron: Yeah. So, honestly, all Sora would need to do is just take a heavy
- 3:06rock and just hit him in the head with it and be
- 3:09like, I can read now.
- 3:13I want to take you away from all this.
- 3:16>> Cameron: Oh, nice.
- 3:17>> Skylar: The blissful room.
- 3:20>> Cameron: But as far as the earth rumble stuff, I think he
- 3:23would at least continue it a little bit on the
- 3:25side. It was never a passion of his. It was more out of
- 3:28necessity.
- 3:29>> Skylar: That's fair.
- 3:30>> Cameron: His real passion is pirate ladies.
- 3:32>> Cameron: Oh, roll your eyes.
- 3:35>> Skylar: He had her shot.
- 3:37>> Mikayla: He clearly did not.
- 3:38>> Skylar: She wanted nothing to do to start.
- 3:41>> Cameron: Going for younger, viral ladies.
- 3:43>> Cameron: Well, Sora's not a pirate.
- 3:46>> Mikayla: She would be one just for you.
- 3:47>> Cameron: I was not saying this feels like.
- 3:49>> Skylar: A weird situation where she's like, she comes out dressed like a
- 3:52pirate, and she's like, and now
- 3:55does this work for you?
- 3:57>> Cameron: So ash goes and joins the war, and
- 3:59Brock join becomes a pirate.
- 4:03I'd be down for that.
- 4:05>> Skylar: Nice. That'd be fun. what
- 4:08happened, Jimmy? Jimmy, n 95 is asking
- 4:11the real question. Scare what happens to Dilbert?
- 4:14>> Cameron: I think Guo's got ownership over him, right?
- 4:17>> Skylar: Is he your squid?
- 4:19>> Dave: I don't know what the lifespan of a
- 4:21turtle squid is.
- 4:23>> Cameron: Well, turtles, like a turtles, live a long time.
- 4:25>> Skylar: So what's the lifespan of a squirrel? I was gonna say it was split the
- 4:27difference.
- 4:28>> Cameron: Yeah, we'll have to. We'll have to.
- 4:31Average amount?
- 4:32>> Skylar: 300.
- 4:32>> Cameron: Well, how old was when we found him? I thought he was, like, young.
- 4:35>> Skylar: Yeah, he was a fresh squid chopped up and
- 4:38served. Okay.
- 4:39>> Cameron: A giant squid can live up to 14 years.
- 4:42>> Mikayla: Oh, my giant squid.
- 4:43>> Cameron: What if regular squid is three?
- 4:46>> Skylar: Oh, well, hey, three.
- 4:48>> Cameron: But if it's got giant here, that's like 50 something.
- 4:51Hey, 50.
- 4:52>> Skylar: No, no, no. Let's keep playing off the idea that he's
- 4:55secretly a giant. Like, what it turtle squids
- 4:58like, they don't.
- 4:58>> Mikayla: He's just a baby.
- 4:59>> Skylar: Yeah, he's just a baby one. and then glow's,
- 5:02like, taking care of him and feeding him, and over time,
- 5:05he's this giant freaking squidgesthe squid that's washing
- 5:08dishes in the blissful room.
- 5:10>> Cameron: Dilbert, the big black squid.
- 5:13>> Dave: And at first, you know, he makes a
- 5:16tank and it's, like, displayed in the shop.
- 5:19>> Cameron: Nice, right?
- 5:20>> Dave: Like, you might make a bigger tank if he ever builds
- 5:23another building. But then, yeah, he just keeps
- 5:25growing and then, like, eventually he
- 5:28gets so big that instead of, like,
- 5:31riding a boat round to get all these ingredients,
- 5:34he's just riding Dilbert like a lapras.
- 5:37>> Cameron: Like, he lives. He lives in the ocean, and
- 5:40he blows a magic
- 5:43conch shell, and then
- 5:45dilder comes on surface, and then
- 5:48in.
- 5:48>> Dave: The far future, he, like, builds a
- 5:51blissful brew on top of.
- 5:57>> Skylar: Nice. It's like the ship in one way comes back to
- 6:00one piece.
- 6:01>> Cameron: Ship in one piece. Yeah.
- 6:02>> Skylar: That's awesome. I love that idea.
- 6:05>> Dave: I like this idea of, yeah, Dilbert's just a
- 6:08baby. Like, they're so common when
- 6:10they're, whatever newborns that people just eat
- 6:13them or.
- 6:14>> Skylar: Whatever, but they get fished to such a point where, like,
- 6:17you don't usually see the big ones.
- 6:18>> Dave: Yeah.
- 6:19>> Skylar: This is a rare survivor because the.
- 6:21>> Cameron: Main thing that makes them grow is love.
- 6:23>> Skylar: Aw, that's
- 6:25beautiful, Connor.
- 6:27>> Cameron: Yeah.
- 6:28>> Skylar: What do you got?
- 6:28>> Cameron: So, question for Mika.
- 6:31Mikayla. Mika, knowing
- 6:34how the southern water tribe you came from
- 6:37end up fleeing their territory, do
- 6:40you think your father ever ran into anyone from
- 6:42your tribe while he was out looking for
- 6:45you, given how they were spread across the world?
- 6:48>> Mikayla: You see, I thought
- 6:50a lot of them disappeared into the cave.
- 6:53>> Skylar: You found notes from at the time
- 6:56chief, which was technically the shaman from the. From the
- 6:59prequel, and he said that they were gonna just
- 7:01flee, and he was hoping that he'd be able
- 7:04to keep power or whatever and stay the chief, even though
- 7:07they, like, go somewhere else.
- 7:09>> Mikayla: Well, then, yeah, I figured probably he would have ran into
- 7:12them.
- 7:12>> Cameron: Sure.
- 7:13>> Mikayla: I don't know if he would have necessarily tried to
- 7:16talk with them, per se, just for
- 7:19the fact that he knows that they're hunting his child.
- 7:21>> Skylar: Oh, even now?
- 7:23>> Mikayla: I don't know.
- 7:25>> Skylar: Or would they have given up on that?
- 7:26>> Mikayla: I mean, they might have. Would have given up. I guess they had to deal with all the
- 7:29spirit things, and now they're just. They have to rebuild their home. So
- 7:32maybe they would, but I don't know. I feel like he'd be pretty
- 7:35cautious before starting a conversation with them,
- 7:38at the very least.
- 7:39>> Skylar: Sure.
- 7:39>> Cameron: I thought of another question.
- 7:41>> Skylar: Sure.
- 7:42>> Cameron: This one would be for you, Skyler. Oh, man.
- 7:44>> Mikayla: Oh, man.
- 7:45>> Cameron: So, of all of Brock's antics
- 7:48that were trying their best to bend the laws
- 7:50of physics of
- 7:53any of them, would you have allowed them for the
- 7:56plot, for the memes cause, his
- 7:59attempted makeshift molotovs,
- 8:01his jumping off of a cliff
- 8:04and, like, essentially trying to fly, I
- 8:06guess, with the
- 8:09airbender?
- 8:10>> Skylar: I feel like I gave you so much leeway, man.
- 8:12>> Cameron: You definitely also just don't ignore the fact that you
- 8:15just said Brock can break the fourth wall
- 8:18when he's high and then just forced Skyler to have to deal with
- 8:21it. He didn't give Skyler a chance to go,
- 8:24no, wait. No, you just made it a fun fact. It's a done.
- 8:27And he's like, wait, what?
- 8:28>> Cameron: It's been established. And he never got high again
- 8:31in the rest of the campaign.
- 8:32>> Skylar: I mean, here's the thing. You bugs bunnied
- 8:35and made a tunnel as fast
- 8:38into the ground as Madame Yang was falling
- 8:41through the air.
- 8:42>> Cameron: M.
- 8:45>> Skylar: I mean, that seems, that seems like I'm pushing it. I
- 8:48mean, you don't see that in any of the earthbenders in Avatar, last
- 8:51airbender. Well, that was pushing it.
- 8:53>> Cameron: Maybe they just didn't try hard enough.
- 8:55>> Skylar: Oh, they must not skill issue. They must not.
- 8:59They didn't bugs bunny it. So I don't think I would
- 9:02have given you more leeway. I think I, if I could go back,
- 9:04here's, going all the way back to the previous con. One
- 9:07of the first questions, sky, if you could do anything
- 9:10different, what would you change? I would have given broccoli
- 9:13less leeway.
- 9:14>> Cameron: That's why I think one of the
- 9:17best episodes for Brock is still
- 9:20his prequel with Bill because he got hurt at the start
- 9:23and actually forced Brock to actually character
- 9:25development. It was literally, like he said, he didn't character. There
- 9:28was one episode, the prequel, because he got hurt at the start of
- 9:31it and he couldn't Earth Bend like Skyler took
- 9:34away bending from it because he lost his feet and he hurt.
- 9:37And he forced Connor and I, Brock,
- 9:40to actually think and actually work
- 9:43and actually have to be arc
- 9:46character arc never got hurt
- 9:49again and then just had all his powers again. And that's why
- 9:52he had no character arc. So if anything,
- 9:54Skylar, we've said go back is somehow
- 9:57give, enforce him through. He
- 10:00gets tired or fatigued or something that slows
- 10:03him down constantly.
- 10:04>> Skylar: Just have this, like, dude come in and just beat
- 10:07the brass legs every couple of
- 10:09episodes.
- 10:10>> Cameron: I don't like using my brain, brain.
- 10:12>> Skylar: actually going, going off of that just real quick and I know, I know.
- 10:15Cameron, you're next. But just real quick. I can't remember if we talked about
- 10:18it in the prequel episode, but you guys, how did you guys
- 10:21come up with the idea? I know. I just figured the audience would
- 10:24enjoy to hear how you guys came up with the whole
- 10:27concept of the one shot in the first place.
- 10:29>> Cameron: It was me. It was you, you
- 10:32mean? Well, basically, David Michaela we're out of
- 10:35town, right? And
- 10:37us three guys were free that night still,
- 10:40right?
- 10:41>> Skylar: But you guys came up with the idea before that.
- 10:43>> Cameron: Before came up with what idea?
- 10:45>> Skylar: For the whole one shot.
- 10:47>> Cameron: Did we?
- 10:47>> Skylar: Yeah, during the trip to California or whatever.
- 10:50>> Cameron: Oh, yeah, that's right. We did come up with it. Yeah, we were on a
- 10:53trip, and me and Connor, just like it was me,
- 10:56Connor, a couple other guys, a, couple of other friends
- 10:59are in this podcast group. Anyways, we were on
- 11:02this trip, and me and Connor talked about doing
- 11:04a one shot on the trip because we were
- 11:07doing a lot of hiking and stuff, and we went into a cave. And while in
- 11:10the cave, we had this idea. We were like, what if Bill
- 11:13and, Brock recorded a podcast in a
- 11:16cave? That was the premise of what we came up with is Bill and
- 11:19Brock started, like, a podcast.
- 11:20>> Skylar: Like, from a meta perspective.
- 11:21>> Cameron: Yeah, like, in a meta perspective, they started doing a podcast,
- 11:24right? What a blah, blah. That was the joke idea. But then we're like, what if there
- 11:27was a mini one shot episode we ran while we're
- 11:30here, where it's just a Bill Brock one
- 11:33shot, right? And so we took that idea and told Skyler
- 11:36about it, and Skylar's like, I love that. That's a great idea. But
- 11:39just left it at that, right? We just told him about the edit. But then
- 11:42Dave McKaylor gone us, three year old free. And then I
- 11:45messaged Skyler, said, hey, we're all free. Do you want to
- 11:48just make that one shot a reality? And sky said,
- 11:50sure, why not? I need some extra filler episodes.
- 11:53>> Skylar: Between seasons, and I'm just aggressively typing out an
- 11:56episode.
- 11:56>> Cameron: Like, what are you doing that day?
- 11:59>> Skylar: Yeah.
- 12:00>> Cameron: Like.
- 12:00>> Skylar: Cause you guys basically gave me, I mean, I cannot stress
- 12:03enough. You guys said, okay, so Connor and I
- 12:06had this crazy idea, right? So it's a one
- 12:08shot where Bill and
- 12:11Brock are in a cave.
- 12:14>> Cameron: That was all we gave them.
- 12:15>> Skylar: That was all you gave me.
- 12:16>> Cameron: And I'm like, whoa, what a brilliant idea.
- 12:19>> Skylar: Stressing me out.
- 12:21Furiously started typing.
- 12:23>> Cameron: That was the only premise you gave him, was, we are in a cave?
- 12:26>> Cameron: That was really all it was.
- 12:28Well, and the only other premise was a Bill
- 12:31Brock, one shot.
- 12:32>> Cameron: Bill and Brock.
- 12:33>> Cameron: Bill and Brock, one shot.
- 12:34>> Cameron: But now, if I may. I'm sorry.
- 12:36>> Cameron: I'm asking because they're very much those two characters remember much
- 12:39Yin and Yang to each other where one
- 12:41was slow and methodical and how he approached stuff while
- 12:44the other one was. I run in headfirst and
- 12:47think later. And so putting them together, I thought was, like, the
- 12:50bet, like, the best
- 12:53combination of everyone. And, yeah, I think with that
- 12:56being.
- 12:56>> Skylar: Said, what would, what would Amica and
- 12:59Guo wish?
- 13:00>> Cameron: Just her getting mad at Guozhouse? No.
- 13:04>> Cameron: what kind of adventure would they go on?
- 13:06>> Skylar: It would have been interesting to see that.
- 13:08>> Mikayla: I don't feel like Mink and Guo had a whole lot of
- 13:10chemistry.
- 13:11>> Cameron: Well, I mean, chemistry with anyone
- 13:14married.
- 13:15>> Mikayla: Probably most with Brock, because, I mean, we
- 13:18dishwashed.
- 13:19>> Dave: I'm not gonna be the one who's like, oh, I'm gonna
- 13:22make you guys all watch this
- 13:24romantic interface with
- 13:27my wife during the
- 13:29podcast.
- 13:30>> Skylar: That does sound kind of terrifying.
- 13:33>> Cameron: If they were to do one, could you think
- 13:36of an adventure that would.
- 13:37>> Cameron: Those two specific characters would have ended up doing?
- 13:40>> Cameron: Like, what if Guo tries to drag Mika along to, like, one of his
- 13:43restaurant reviews?
- 13:44>> Skylar: That's exactly what I was saying.
- 13:45>> Cameron: Or, like, a random food run and.
- 13:46>> Cameron: Something goes down in the restaurant, maybe.
- 13:49>> Dave: Or go to, like, some.
- 13:51>> Cameron: It ends up like an emperor's new.
- 13:52>> Dave: Go to some of the kitchen. Micah's fox
- 13:55dog disappears. We have to find it.
- 13:57>> Skylar: Ooh, that's pretty good, too.
- 13:59>> Cameron: And Bill. Well, Bill's gone and.
- 14:01>> Cameron: Wait, Mika had a fox dog.
- 14:02>> Cameron: Oh, what was his
- 14:05name?
- 14:07>> Skylar: I love that.
- 14:07>> Cameron: That's great.
- 14:08>> Dave: No, Mopo.
- 14:13>> Cameron: The question is, though, is this a prequel or a post call?
- 14:16Like, is this, It works either way because it kind of works
- 14:19better if it's like, after Ash is gone, because
- 14:22he's gone now and stuff, and then Brock is
- 14:25learning.
- 14:25>> Skylar: How to read rock.
- 14:26>> Mikayla: I feel like that's the only way he would choose me get to go
- 14:29with him. was. If it was.
- 14:33>> Skylar: I have no idea.
- 14:35>> Mikayla: That's what I feel like. Because, like I said, I think you're right.
- 14:38Have a whole lot of back and forth during the show,
- 14:41I usually paired up with Brock under
- 14:44the assumption I knew him the best, because dishwashing.
- 14:47>> Skylar: And we had our whole.
- 14:49>> Mikayla: I don't know what me and Ash
- 14:52had. Bill had.
- 14:54>> Skylar: Oh, my gosh. It's like a dog napper. So you
- 14:57guys go to the restaurant to, like, try out some new place,
- 15:00and some sketchy dude steals poe.
- 15:03>> Cameron: It could.
- 15:03>> Skylar: And then it just goes.
- 15:04>> Cameron: And then the way Mika pairs up with Guo is just kind of
- 15:07like, chico's not. Chico's not around. So Guo is there,
- 15:10and she's like, go come help me and stuff. And then that leads into,
- 15:13because the prequel with bro, Bill and
- 15:15Brock, they weren't meant to be together. Bill wanted to go off
- 15:18by himself to go have quiet time alone.
- 15:21On vacation, and Brock followed him because Bill made
- 15:24up some lie about going to a place with cool rocks,
- 15:28and he tried to point Brock down the wrong path. But Brock, thinking
- 15:30Bill was lying to him, followed Bill, thinking he would lead him to the
- 15:33real rocks.
- 15:34>> Skylar: Yes.
- 15:35>> Cameron: So they weren't even meant to go together, and that's what then led
- 15:38into the thing. So I think them, the
- 15:41Micah and guo, having a joint
- 15:43adventure that wasn't on purpose, but they just accidentally
- 15:46go into it. I think that's kind of more natural for these characters
- 15:49because I don't think Bill and Brock ever would have really
- 15:52interacted.
- 15:53>> Skylar: Right.
- 15:53>> Cameron: Because Bill was way closer with Mika and.
- 15:56Whoa. Then Brock. So, the way we
- 15:59actually forced them together. So I think to
- 16:01do their one shot, they would have to
- 16:04force them together.
- 16:06>> Skylar: Sure.
- 16:06>> Cameron: Which then would them, maybe after that point would have.
- 16:09>> Skylar: Yeah.
- 16:09>> Cameron: Shame we didn't do that earlier, because then they would have had that chemistry going
- 16:12forward into the podcast. Like, that's a Phil and Brock did
- 16:15because of that prequel. But I.
- 16:17>> Skylar: No, that's a very good point. Yeah, no, I completely agree. Just
- 16:20to. Just a preface. I just want to say real quick from
- 16:23Luke, he did ask, and I want to emphasize
- 16:26this. If we did spin off campaigns, what would they
- 16:29be? and we have. We have definitely answered
- 16:32that. So I just want to establish that I really
- 16:34appreciate Luke for asking this question. I hope
- 16:37we answered it sufficiently. It came up really
- 16:40organically.
- 16:40>> Cameron: Yeah.
- 16:41>> Skylar: but I think there's some fantastic ideas here, for
- 16:44sure, which is fair.
- 16:45>> Cameron: Out of curiosity, what would have happened in our one
- 16:48shot if Brock just decided to. Okay, cool. I'll go
- 16:51down this path and see these other rocks. And so then it just
- 16:54be bill by himself, and then Brock checking out some
- 16:57rocks.
- 16:57>> Cameron: Sometimes for the narrative of,
- 17:00storytelling, there's a little railroading. And that
- 17:02was.
- 17:03>> Dave: There wouldn't be any cool rocks.
- 17:05>> Cameron: Yeah.
- 17:05>> Dave: So bad that he would go find.
- 17:07>> Cameron: Bill and throw his bo staff in a tree, which is what he
- 17:10did.
- 17:11>> Cameron: He, like, took his bo staff. Like, took it away from. And then.
- 17:14>> Cameron: And then you kept them. Bill just kept saying the same thing over and
- 17:17over, which was, give me back my bo staff. And then you started
- 17:20calling him mister, gimme back my boast.
- 17:21>> Cameron: Well, mister, give me back my boast.
- 17:24>> Skylar: Connor, I think exactly what you just described is every
- 17:27DM's nightmare, where a player goes so off
- 17:30this. Like, one single player goes so off the script that
- 17:33it just, like, there is no plot anymore. There's nothing
- 17:36I can even build off of there. It's just gone. All right, you
- 17:39guys have a nice day. You guys go to bed at
- 17:4208:00 p.m. congratulations.
- 17:46>> Cameron: What a great one shot.
- 17:47>> Skylar: What a great one shot.
- 17:48>> Cameron: I think of all the episodes, though, I think mine and Bill's one
- 17:51shot was one of my favorites.
- 17:53>> Skylar: That's fair.
- 17:53>> Cameron: That one. And the OSHA.
- 17:55>> Skylar: Oh, the Osha was so good. Coming off
- 17:58of the.
- 17:59>> Cameron: So I'm catching a theme where you're just letting Brock go off
- 18:01the rails.
- 18:03>> Cameron: Cause, I mean, Brock just.
- 18:05>> Mikayla: Okay. But Skyler's very much the guy who's like, you know what? I'm
- 18:08interested to see how that plays out.
- 18:10>> Cameron: Yeah. Yeah. For sure.
- 18:11>> Cameron: You can't just have a guy conjure up a clipboard and walk
- 18:14his way into a factory.
- 18:15>> Skylar: And yet, I mean,
- 18:18to be fair, I mean, you look at, like, the avatar last airbender
- 18:21cartoon, and, yeah, they.
- 18:22>> Cameron: Did a lot of.
- 18:24>> Skylar: There's some crazy, wild, goofy stuff that they managed to pull off,
- 18:27and you're like, it's believable. I
- 18:30could see a bit. It's what they always say. If you were in the right outfit
- 18:33and you walk in with the right amount of confidence, you can pretty much get
- 18:36in anywhere. I think that truly does
- 18:38apply here.
- 18:40>> Cameron: I suppose it does.
- 18:41>> Skylar: Yeah. I have one question, and I it's one of the
- 18:44sort of last questions that I have, just jumping over to
- 18:47Tamika. Dude, what the heck? We had a whole
- 18:49thing about your blood bending, like, planned out,
- 18:52and you never touched it. It was mentioned
- 18:55in the prequel bender. Yeah. She's been a blood vendor
- 18:58the whole time. That was, like, Bill's a firebender
- 19:01thing.
- 19:01>> Mikayla: With my whole backstory. M
- 19:04my mom basically was killed because I was a blood bender.
- 19:07>> Skylar: Right. That's true.
- 19:08>> Mikayla: So it's not like I was waiting for and
- 19:11more opportune time Mika kill her mom?
- 19:13>> Skylar: Like.
- 19:14>> Mikayla: No, like, you know, like, how Bill had his whole.
- 19:16Oh, wait. I'm ash, and I'm a firebender. I
- 19:19was waiting for a moment like that for Mika, where
- 19:22she would have to almost be forced to
- 19:25use it.
- 19:25>> Cameron: A natural way to put it in.
- 19:27>> Skylar: Yeah.
- 19:27>> Cameron: Because I don't think Bill would have ever, I don't know,
- 19:30done it if it wasn't for Mika spilling the.
- 19:33And then Guo asking about his scars.
- 19:36I don't think I would have naturally got into that.
- 19:38>> Mikayla: Yeah. So I just don't know if Mika would have used her blood
- 19:41bending for something as trivial as, I'm
- 19:44gonna make this guy weak in the knees. You know what I mean?
- 19:47>> Skylar: I can use my bend and snap for that.
- 19:49>> Mikayla: Until she got to a point where
- 19:53it wasn't seen as a bad thing. Cause, right now with her
- 19:56tribe, it was seen as a very. You're a
- 19:59witch, basically.
- 20:00>> Skylar: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And I know that was kind of. Yeah.
- 20:03>> Mikayla: So that's probably why I literally did,
- 20:05like. I was like, okay, let's see. Can I put
- 20:08this in here and make it make sense for me?
- 20:11And I. There wasn't a time that I felt.
- 20:13>> Skylar: Like, yeah, that's fair.
- 20:14>> Mikayla: Maybe I could do it.
- 20:16>> Skylar: All right, then jump back to that question again. If there was
- 20:18something that I could change, it would have been to make an
- 20:21opportunity. You know, honestly, I would have thought to myself that
- 20:24just. And I throw back to what I said earlier, like,
- 20:27I feel like Mika got, or at least Mikayla
- 20:30got most frustrated every time that Madam Yang got
- 20:33away. That could have been. You're like,
- 20:35no, freeze. And then also,
- 20:39I could have,
- 20:39>> Mikayla: But I think at that point, I was just so used to not using it.
- 20:42I don't know.
- 20:43>> Skylar: Yeah.
- 20:43>> Mikayla: So I guess that's something I would have changed.
- 20:45>> Skylar: But speaking of which, that's gonna be terrifying when that shows up in
- 20:48the live action show.
- 20:50>> Cameron: Oh, and the blood bending.
- 20:51>> Cameron: Yeah.
- 20:51>> Mikayla: Oh, yeah.
- 20:53>> Cameron: I imagine it'll look like kind of in demon Slayer where you could see their
- 20:56veins, like, pop up, like, really big.
- 20:58>> Skylar: Yeah.
- 20:59>> Cameron: Like, if they want to go gross with it, they can go so
- 21:02gross with it.
- 21:03>> Mikayla: I always have to.
- 21:04>> Dave: Are they doing legends of Korra?
- 21:07>> Skylar: Well, that was still avatar last airbender. That was season
- 21:10three.
- 21:11>> Cameron: They were in the.
- 21:12>> Cameron: Were they in the fire nation?
- 21:13>> Skylar: Yes. Right. Because she was living in the fire nation because she had been
- 21:17captured, and m then she escaped, but she was
- 21:19still. Because she was kind of, like, manipulating
- 21:22the people to try to, like, draw him in, and then.
- 21:25>> Cameron: Oh, yeah.
- 21:26>> Skylar: Like, that was season three.
- 21:28Yeah, somewhere in there. But anyway, sorry, that's not about our
- 21:31show. I mean, sort of.
- 21:34>> Cameron: It's about the source material.
- 21:35>> Skylar: That's right. That's right. Who's. Who's. I don't even know where
- 21:38we're at.
- 21:38>> Cameron: But I have two questions left.
- 21:40>> Cameron: But I think I'm all done.
- 21:42>> Cameron: Out of questions.
- 21:42>> Skylar: Okay. You're out of questions.
- 21:43>> Cameron: Yeah. My first one was for Guo.
- 21:45>> Skylar: Okay.
- 21:46>> Cameron: does Guo ever run into any of his friends from the circus
- 21:49again?
- 21:49>> Mikayla: He did run into that one guy.
- 21:51>> Cameron: I mean, like, just in the future, do you think
- 21:54any of his friends he would have
- 21:57rekindled a relationship with?
- 21:59>> Dave: I would think so. I mean, people probably don't
- 22:02stay with the circus forever. so they
- 22:04might. Or it might come to town and he might
- 22:07go see it. M. so I
- 22:10think he definitely would. And he,
- 22:13Mirabelle is kind of like his childhood,
- 22:17crush. I'm. He's still a child, so
- 22:21who knows? He might try to rekindle that,
- 22:24pursue that in the future. Or he might
- 22:27just try to go for his favorite actress,
- 22:29Fatima. Quick,
- 22:34get her to sponsor the shop
- 22:37in the future.
- 22:39>> Skylar: that's right. You know, actually,
- 22:42one of the ideas that I had for a plot line as far
- 22:45as trying to, like, get a kind of an emotional moment, and this would
- 22:48obviously was never planned. This is something I thought of, like, recently
- 22:51would have been, the circus
- 22:54comes to some space that Guo is
- 22:57traveling to. Probably doesn't make sense that it be in gaoling, but I think
- 23:00somewhere else in the earth nation, and Guo just
- 23:03happens to be there. Maybe he's doing his.
- 23:05>> Mikayla: They sell the fox dog.
- 23:11>> Skylar: Circus. Somebody at the.
- 23:12>> Cameron: Wow. This needs to happen.
- 23:14>> Skylar: Right? All right, all right. So, yeah, okay.
- 23:16Maybe that's what happens.
- 23:17>> Cameron: Whatever the case, one shot.
- 23:19>> Skylar: Yeah. Guo ends up at the circus or
- 23:22the carnival, and there's a couple
- 23:25that's also at the carnival, and they're asking
- 23:28about. There was a kid,
- 23:31we more or less sold him to the carnival
- 23:34when he was little, when he was born. Like,
- 23:37do you guys know where he is? Do you know where this Chang dude
- 23:40is? That's who we sold him to. You know, all this kind of stuff.
- 23:43And guo overhears that and, like, I don't know. I feel like there could have
- 23:46been something pretty intense there. maybe I would have been a
- 23:49bit more subtle with it, but that was kind of one idea that I did
- 23:51think of recently, and I was like, dang, that'd be, that's
- 23:54a way to work in quo stuff, but kind of
- 23:57tie all those loose ends. What was your other question, Cameron?
- 24:02>> Cameron: The question for Brock Connor.
- 24:04>> Skylar: Yeah.
- 24:04>> Cameron: And it was actually a question I had.
- 24:07>> Cameron: Okay.
- 24:08>> Cameron: And that was just curious because you never really
- 24:11talked about it in your prequel, that stuff. Right. It was
- 24:14just, how long were you fighting in the earth
- 24:16rumble arena, and what was your
- 24:19record?
- 24:20>> Cameron: Well, I know for a fact he's lost at least one
- 24:23fight.
- 24:23>> Cameron: Okay.
- 24:24>> Cameron: Because in my prequel episode, he
- 24:27lost.
- 24:27>> Skylar: Right. but then he also won.
- 24:30>> Cameron: He also won. So he's at least one in one from what we know.
- 24:33>> Cameron: Okay.
- 24:33>> Cameron: But, I. So,
- 24:36Brock, whenever he was broken out of the
- 24:39prison by his,
- 24:42bestest friend, platonic friend
- 24:44Sora, when he was broken out
- 24:47of prison by Sora, he was kind of tunneled under gowling.
- 24:50And he was, he sort of popped up with Mister
- 24:53Okaron. And so from that point to when
- 24:56benders and brews takes place, about how long, how much time has passed?
- 24:59Like a year.
- 24:59>> Skylar: Yeah. Ah, like a year at most.
- 25:01>> Cameron: So he had been kind of looking for other money. So I
- 25:04guess after, like, maybe a week, he went and saw earth
- 25:07rumble and was like, I could probably do this. So I would imagine he'd been
- 25:10doing it for probably at least six months
- 25:13to a year ish. He wasn't
- 25:16good.
- 25:16>> Skylar: Right.
- 25:17>> Cameron: his main goal was to be the guy who's like the fill in
- 25:20fighter. Like, if someone has an injury or
- 25:23something, he's the guy that just steps up like, hey, we need you tomorrow.
- 25:26Come in, take this l. And we're gonna
- 25:29give you a bunch of money. He'd be that guy.
- 25:31>> Skylar: Was he the fall guy or he wins sometime.
- 25:34>> Cameron: Not like the fall guy, but he'd be like the tune up
- 25:37fight.
- 25:37>> Skylar: Okay.
- 25:37>> Cameron: Like, Cause earth rumble's real, obviously. Like, wrestling is real.
- 25:40Yeah, it's all real.
- 25:42>> Skylar: It's all real.
- 25:43>> Cameron: so he would be the guy that they would call in
- 25:45on short notice, like, hey, we just need a body in here
- 25:48for this dude to fight. Come
- 25:51in. We're gonna pay you, x amount of money.
- 25:54>> Skylar: Okay.
- 25:54>> Cameron: And so he would do that. So he lost a
- 25:57lot.
- 25:58>> Cameron: Okay.
- 25:58>> Cameron: We'll say he was like
- 26:00five and
- 26:0315. Five and 15.
- 26:06A respectable loser. There
- 26:09you go.
- 26:09>> Skylar: One in three.
- 26:11>> Cameron: He had some wins.
- 26:12>> Cameron: Yeah, he had some wins where he just stepped up and he was like, you know what?
- 26:15It was my night. There's my night. I got a hold of
- 26:17him and we, we pulled through.
- 26:20>> Skylar: Yeah.
- 26:21>> Cameron: And then 15 other times.
- 26:23>> Skylar: He was not, he was not. That makes
- 26:26a lot of sense.
- 26:26>> Cameron: I like that.
- 26:26>> Skylar: yeah, because, I mean, all things considered, not to, not to
- 26:29be that guy, but part of the reason why you won was because the
- 26:32guy had been drinking a whole lot.
- 26:34>> Cameron: Yeah.
- 26:35>> Skylar: In the prequel, which I think it's mentioned in there, but,
- 26:38yeah, so he.
- 26:39>> Cameron: he was not the greatest fighter, but it was
- 26:42like a nacho libre situation where he was, he ate
- 26:45the eagle egg. It was more
- 26:48like nacho libre in the
- 26:51sense where he, I mean, sure, in the movie he wanted to win,
- 26:53but it was more like win or lose, you get paid money.
- 26:56And then he would take that money and give it to him.
- 26:58>> Skylar: You would buy chips for the orphans.
- 27:00>> Cameron: Buy chips for the orphans.
- 27:01>> Cameron: That's right.
- 27:01>> Cameron: he would give him, like, a salad.
- 27:03>> Skylar: You'd get him a salad.
- 27:04>> Cameron: But, yeah, it was more than, like, the money from earth rumble he
- 27:07would send back to his family.
- 27:08>> Skylar: Right.
- 27:09>> Cameron: And then the money from the blissful brew is what he would live off of,
- 27:12right?
- 27:12>> Skylar: And take pirate ladies on dates with.
- 27:14>> Cameron: Take pirate ladies on dates with, which they definitely
- 27:17enjoyed.
- 27:20>> Skylar: I mean, that sounds so force.
- 27:21>> Cameron: I am trying so hard to make him.
- 27:23>> Skylar: You're gonna love this tea.
- 27:24>> Cameron: It's amazing. No, I cannot love.
- 27:27>> Cameron: And yes, I can.
- 27:28>> Dave: From hot, leaf tea.
- 27:29>> Cameron: Yeah. That could have been his whole thing. Like, oh, this
- 27:32tea is terrible. And he's just making a scene like
- 27:35this. M brand tea
- 27:38is the worst I have ever drank. I will be taking
- 27:41my patronage elsewhere.
- 27:44>> Cameron: Brock would say patronage elsewhere
- 27:47and elsewhere.
- 27:48>> Skylar: I do imagine Brock coming in with a fancy
- 27:51mustache. This
- 27:54is quite disgusting tease.
- 27:56>> Cameron: This is.
- 27:59>> Dave: Sora helped him fine tune the script.
- 28:04>> Mikayla: Speaking of hot leaf juice,
- 28:07pizza time 69 wants to know what happened to it.
- 28:10>> Skylar: Ooh. So I guess, I mean, that kind of plays into that idea that I
- 28:13had before, right? So. But at the same time,
- 28:16I feel like answering it that way is saying that, like, there's
- 28:19the potential for continuation. I like the plot
- 28:22line that we were coming up with where Bill has to join
- 28:25the Fire Nation, and it comes over and it gets really intense from there.
- 28:28With that being said, I don't see a whole lot of
- 28:30space for the idea of hot leaf juice
- 28:33and the gang kind of. And also, Bill's gone,
- 28:36so, why the gang's not going to get back together to go take down hot
- 28:39leaf juice in various locations. Whitney and Chicra. Mike,
- 28:42what's that?
- 28:43>> Mikayla: Mika?
- 28:44>> Skylar: Mika and Chica. Now there's a good fly, too.
- 28:47Is that Mika? Mika and Chicra go and do
- 28:50a more with their investigative gate
- 28:52of their investigation
- 28:55business. They, like, go and they get
- 28:58more proof. Yeah, yeah, yeah. They get more proof about, like,
- 29:01the orphans and the exploitation and stuff. And then
- 29:04that leads to, from a national level, to
- 29:07some extent, hot leaf juice gets shut down. That's,
- 29:10that's how I imagine it. So
- 29:13there you go.
- 29:14>> Cameron: Cool.
- 29:15>> Skylar: Yeah, it's a happy ending there.
- 29:19Or at the very least, it gets
- 29:22pushed back to the fire nation. Like, nobody in the
- 29:25other nations wants anything to do with them. they close down their locations
- 29:28in the earth nation and anything that might be in the water nation
- 29:31or. I don't. I think the only nation I didn't have
- 29:34anybody in a hot leaf juice in was the,
- 29:37the, air nation, because I was like, I cannot
- 29:40find a way to justify this. It just doesn't make sense. They don't have money. They don't do
- 29:43money. They, like, trade or just give each other what they need.
- 29:46They're not like that. What. What would Madam Yang
- 29:49gain? So I think that was the only one that didn't have any. Plus, they're gonna
- 29:52get destroyed anyway, so
- 29:56air nation's not gonna be around much longer.
- 29:58>> Mikayla: So I didn't care about them. They're gonna die.
- 30:00>> Skylar: That's not my choice. That's what the creators did.
- 30:04Dave? Yeah? You got anything left?
- 30:06>> Cameron: Yeah.
- 30:06>> Dave: Maybe that's why none of us chose, to be an
- 30:09airbender.
- 30:09>> Skylar: Yeah, right. When did you say you were gonna start this? The
- 30:12beginning of the hundred year war. Oh, Skylar, that's.
- 30:16>> Dave: Yeah, I'm pretty sure that show's called the last
- 30:18airbender,
- 30:21except for this one guy.
- 30:23>> Skylar: That would be hard to justify.
- 30:25>> Dave: It's a question from bongo number
- 30:28five. If you could have
- 30:30played one of the. Oh, this is for Skylar.
- 30:33If you could have played one of the NPC's in the
- 30:36series, which one would you choose?
- 30:40>> Skylar: Probably, like, if I played him as a
- 30:43character, man,
- 30:46everybody really liked. What was his
- 30:48name? The canadian guard
- 30:51guy.
- 30:51>> Cameron: Oh, no.
- 30:55>> Skylar: He would have been funny too, though.
- 30:56>> Cameron: The canadian guard. Kido.
- 30:57>> Skylar: Kido, yes. Everybody loved Kido. I
- 31:00feel like that would. And I had fun doing the voice for
- 31:03it. I feel like it would be him. Yeah, because he's just
- 31:06ridiculous. I feel like he would have been like that. Just kind of a dumb
- 31:09dude, but like, a nice dumb dude that everybody loves.
- 31:12Lovable dumb dude.
- 31:13>> Cameron: Like cronk.
- 31:14>> Skylar: Yeah, like cronk.
- 31:15>> Cameron: Exactly what your voice was very similar to. Yeah, that's
- 31:18kind of what I was going for much.
- 31:19>> Cameron: Yeah.
- 31:20>> Cameron: Felt like Cronk just showed up in our campaign.
- 31:25Squeaker, squeak, squeak.
- 31:26>> Skylar: No, I think one of my
- 31:29favorite. Oh, my gosh. What if you could talk to.
- 31:31>> Cameron: I think one of my favorite jokes throughout the whole thing and wasn't
- 31:34even a joke. It was like, kind of like the. The dad
- 31:37joke, that, What kind of thing?
- 31:40>> Cameron: What do you like doing without your dad?
- 31:42>> Cameron: Yeah, it's like that. It was this off the cuff moment. It was. It
- 31:45was completely off the cuff for Keto,
- 31:47where he said, I heard a.
- 31:50>> Skylar: Was a sneeze.
- 31:55>> Cameron: A little bit of a cough. And he just.
- 31:58You asked him, and I asked what it sound like.
- 32:01He's like, oh, it sounded like this.
- 32:04>> Skylar: And then. And then like some, I think Dave, that was
- 32:07when you started.
- 32:07>> Cameron: Dave then threw something at him
- 32:10into.
- 32:11>> Skylar: His face, and he goes.
- 32:14>> Cameron: It was.
- 32:15>> Skylar: The exact same cop.
- 32:18>> Cameron: And Bill's just like, well, we got him.
- 32:21I think it was just like,
- 32:24it was, it's one of those, like, the way you
- 32:27did the cough was the exact
- 32:30same way you did the first cough. And you didn't
- 32:33mean to do it.
- 32:33>> Skylar: I did not mean.
- 32:34>> Cameron: That was the funniest thing I try.
- 32:36>> Skylar: It's the limits of my voice capabilities. It's like, I
- 32:39don't normally do this character. This is
- 32:42very much like forcing my voice to do something.
- 32:45>> Cameron: I don't think I've laughed that hard. That was
- 32:48the exact same cough. And I was like, case solved,
- 32:51right?
- 32:51>> Skylar: There he is, booking.
- 32:55That was pretty great.
- 32:57>> Dave: I do have another question.
- 32:58>> Skylar: Absolutely.
- 32:59>> Dave: I'm here for Bill
- 33:01doar. what
- 33:04was it like hiding such a huge secret
- 33:07for almost the entire series?
- 33:11>> Skylar: That's a good question.
- 33:12>> Dave: Oh, Bill's fire bending.
- 33:15>> Cameron: Yeah, I was gonna say which
- 33:18secret? Because he also hid his name for a while,
- 33:21too.
- 33:22>> Cameron: You revealed your name way sooner than you.
- 33:24>> Cameron: Oh, yeah, very much. His bigger secret was definitely the
- 33:27firebending. And it wasn't. See, that's the hard thing
- 33:30about the, the fire bending. It
- 33:32wasn't. So
- 33:35when Skyler and I were talking
- 33:38about how Bill would reveal it,
- 33:41Skyler was asking if he wanted me to do
- 33:43specific. Like, he was worried that I would maybe do it
- 33:46in combat or something like that in a moment or was I gonna
- 33:49have a big moment for it or something like that. And he was just concerned
- 33:52when the timing would be for it. And I told him
- 33:55that Bill would never use his
- 33:58firebending until, like, his last
- 34:01resort. Right. Which,
- 34:03because of his trauma, and
- 34:06he was afraid of his firebending, and so, like, he
- 34:09was afraid to use it around anyone. He was afraid he'd hurt someone
- 34:12else. Right. So it wasn't that I was hiding
- 34:15his firebending. It was that Bill was afraid of his
- 34:18firebending, and so, or ash was afraid of his fire bending.
- 34:21So it helped that it wasn't that hard to hide
- 34:23it because of the fact that when you're afraid of something,
- 34:27you always are trying to avoid it. Right. And so Bill was always
- 34:30trying to avoid it. And the only reason I used it in that
- 34:32one episode, and revealed
- 34:35it was because it was, I felt like it was a very
- 34:38important moment for Bill's character to,
- 34:41like, he needed to use
- 34:44his powers again to forgive himself
- 34:47and not take on that blame of his
- 34:50brother's death anymore because it was an accident
- 34:53and he did everything he could to save him, and
- 34:56he couldn't keep that anymore. And that's why I used it. So it
- 34:59wasn't. So initially, when I created the idea for
- 35:02Bill, I thought he was going to use his power in, like, a moment
- 35:05of desperation, like our, I, imagined, like, our group was
- 35:07trapped. And he had, he always had this ability called pyro wall, which
- 35:10is the one I used. And it was this defensive wall
- 35:13because Bill was trained to be a defender type, so he always tried to use his
- 35:16firepowers for defensive purposes. so he
- 35:19had this ability the whole game. and, it
- 35:22was taking up a slot. It was. I also was trying to hide my
- 35:25character sheet from people all the time.
- 35:28I was constantly trying that. If I had to hide something, it was my
- 35:31character sheet, because on the back, if flat up said pyre
- 35:33wall.
- 35:34>> Mikayla: Which was super annoying because I tried to look at your
- 35:37sheets multiple times.
- 35:39>> Skylar: You're so snoopy.
- 35:40>> Mikayla: Well, he wasn't. Well, that, and, like, he wrote down a couple things. And
- 35:43so I was, like, just trying to see, like, oh, what was that person's name? And I'd be
- 35:46like.
- 35:51>> Cameron: Pyro. And Skyler printed it onto it, so it wasn't even
- 35:54in pencil. So I'm just like, it's there and I can't hide it.
- 35:57So anyways, I thought when I had
- 36:00that ability, I thought our group would be cornered and Bill
- 36:03would step forward as the defender and use
- 36:06this ability, and it would be a big moment. But then I
- 36:08realized that moment's not gonna show up. And
- 36:11that's okay because Bill needs to not
- 36:14be forced to do it through the narrative, but he needs to make
- 36:17that conscious decision and, like, forgive
- 36:20himself and m make it
- 36:23and stuff. I will say the, idea for how I came up
- 36:25with Bill was, two parts.
- 36:28One was because of Michaela and I were talking about characters
- 36:31way before character creation. I don't remember what it was,
- 36:34but we were joking about both of us making characters that
- 36:37were one type of bender and then they were a different type of
- 36:40bender. I think she remembers that.
- 36:42And then we all had, like, a hidden twist to our characters.
- 36:45>> Skylar: Yeah.
- 36:46>> Cameron: And then she said, why don't you just be a firebender to round out our group
- 36:49and stuff? And I said, no, I don't want to be a firebender. I would hate to be a
- 36:52firebender. I'm gonna be like, zuko. I'd be like,
- 36:55sora. M sokka. Thank you.
- 36:58Too many times. Signed sora. But sokka, because
- 37:00Sokka is my favorite character. So I'm like, I'll never be a firebender
- 37:03firebenders are lame. I'm gonna be like, sokka. And then I knew saying
- 37:06that to Mikayla's like, I have to
- 37:09make a character that's secretly a firebender now because I said
- 37:12that specifically to her. But then when I was trying to
- 37:15craft, like, why would I have a firebender
- 37:17that wouldn't want to use this firebending? That's when I,
- 37:20then it, like, came up with this idea. It was like, what if I was a
- 37:23firebender that was afraid of fire?
- 37:25>> Skylar: Right?
- 37:25>> Cameron: That's where I came up with ideas. Like, has that ever been in
- 37:28Avatar? Is there a firebender afraid of fire? I was like, that's an
- 37:31interesting idea. But then I had to be like, how does that come to
- 37:34be? Right? Because, like, a firebender, how do you become
- 37:37afraid of the thing you create? Right? It'd be like
- 37:39saying earthbender is afraid of rocks. It's like, how do you,
- 37:42how do you create that? And that's when I created the story of him
- 37:45accidentally killing his brother. And then that's how he became afraid of
- 37:48fire and all.
- 37:49>> Skylar: Yeah. I mean, there was the moment when Aang was
- 37:51learning, first learning to fire bend, and he
- 37:54accidentally burns Katara in the process. And then he kind of swears
- 37:56it off to some extent. Obviously, he changed that. But I digress.
- 37:59>> Cameron: Yeah.
- 38:00>> Skylar: Also, so two quick things along with that. So
- 38:03just to clarify with everybody from the get
- 38:06go, that was the plan. Like, we didn't just, like, come up with that part
- 38:09way where we're like, oh, we need, like, some big crazy moment to
- 38:12happen with one of the characters. Oh, my gosh. What if Bill was a
- 38:14fight? Like, just to emphasize we truly had that
- 38:17plan from the beginning that there was going to be that moment where
- 38:20everything just changes and then it's revealed
- 38:23that Bill is a firebiter. On a second note with that,
- 38:26going back to Connor's question about what, are there any
- 38:29hints? One thing that I thought of while you were talking about
- 38:32your character sheet and stuff was the fact that, so
- 38:35we did the Kickstarter project, when avatar
- 38:37legends was pitched, right? And so
- 38:40we were waiting for all the materials to come in. So once the materials came in, I was
- 38:43able to hand stuff out to everybody. It comes
- 38:46with four packets, like, for
- 38:48note taking and stuff like that. And each packet has
- 38:51symbology on it from one of the elements. So I
- 38:54took the water bender booklet. I gave it to Michaela.
- 38:57I had the earthbender booklet. I don't remember. Did I give it to
- 39:00Guo or did I give it to Brock?
- 39:02>> Cameron: I think you probably gave it to Brock.
- 39:03>> Skylar: I think I did give it to Brock. I gave it to Brock. I had the airbender.
- 39:06Anyone could have gotten that one. I handed it to Guo, and I
- 39:09took the firebender book, and I gave it to
- 39:12Bill just because,
- 39:15and I hope that nobody with, I mean, the airbender one kind
- 39:18of throws it off a little bit because otherwise it would have been, you know,
- 39:21that much funnier. But I digress. Like, he did technically
- 39:24have their booklet, and obviously the audience wouldn't know that.
- 39:26>> Cameron: But there was one episode, I don't even remember what
- 39:29it was, but it was when we're doing fun facts
- 39:32and someone revealed, they're like, I'm
- 39:34secretly, I'm secretly an airbender. I think it was like
- 39:37Michaela was joking about Mika's. Like, I'm secretly, Mika's secretly
- 39:40an airbender as well.
- 39:41>> Cameron: Right.
- 39:41>> Cameron: Whatever. and then, and then Connor, just on
- 39:44a spur of whim, just went, I bet. I bet Bill's
- 39:47secretly a fire. I remember that.
- 39:49>> Skylar: Yes.
- 39:49>> Cameron: And I think at the moment, I went hot. That's silly.
- 39:52>> Cameron: And you're, like, sweating.
- 39:53>> Cameron: You're, like, pulling your collar off. I thought it was
- 39:56so funny that just out of nowhere, Brock, Bill, Connor's
- 39:59just like, yeah, Bill's secretly a firebender, too. Jokingly
- 40:02laughing. I'm just like, yeah, he is.
- 40:04>> Skylar: But it would have been so funny if we had you over in the corner and you're just
- 40:07sweating just like Jordan, Peele in that
- 40:10skit where he's like, haha.
- 40:14>> Cameron: Slapper.
- 40:15>> Skylar: Huh? did anybody not get a question in from
- 40:18their sheet, or did everybody, do we get through?
- 40:19>> Cameron: I I guess I had one more, oh, Cameron
- 40:22question, but how did you.
- 40:24>> Cameron: Land on the name Bill door?
- 40:26>> Cameron: Oh, did I not explain.
- 40:28>> Mikayla: He did explain that.
- 40:30>> Cameron: It's in my, it was in my prequel, but it
- 40:33basically, I took inspiration from a, I
- 40:36won't, I will say here, because I don't
- 40:39want anyone to.
- 40:39>> Mikayla: Be like, sure, you did it. When we all had that tender hearted
- 40:42moment under the tree after I tried.
- 40:45>> Cameron: To heal your burns, Brock definitely wasn't listening.
- 40:47>> Cameron: No, I don't think it's, I said it then.
- 40:49>> Mikayla: I'm pretty sure.
- 40:50>> Cameron: Well, then what do you think it was?
- 40:52>> Cameron: He saw
- 40:59a guy on a pirate ship building a door. He's like, huh? He's
- 41:01building the doors.
- 41:07>> Mikayla: But he definitely was like, yeah. And then I looked at a door, and I was
- 41:10like, it was, it.
- 41:12>> Cameron: Was in the pre, I really thought it was, I think I told you
- 41:15guys, just outside of character. But basically it
- 41:18was, it was from Terry Pratchett book where there, there's a
- 41:21character named Death. And he came back to become a human and
- 41:24he didn't know what his name was when someone asked him what his name
- 41:27was. And so what he did was he looked around and he saw
- 41:30like a thing in the house. And he's like, that's my name. And they're like,
- 41:33that's not a name. And so that's what Bill did. Basically.
- 41:36Mister Okron confronted him. He was on the run, so he had to quickly
- 41:39come up with a name. So he looked around the pirate ship and
- 41:41he said, my name's Dor. And he
- 41:44went, door. That's not a name. What are you talking about? Always
- 41:47like, is he? And then Mister Oakland's like, is that your last name? And then
- 41:50he's like, yeah, that's my last name. He's like, what's your first name? And Bill's
- 41:53like, I don't know. Like, what are common names?
- 41:54>> Skylar: You said, what are common names?
- 41:56>> Cameron: Common names. And then he just started naming off names. I said
- 41:59Bill. And I went, yeah, Bill, my name is Bill doar. And
- 42:02then that's how Bill door, just.
- 42:04>> Skylar: To clarify, if you haven't listened to the prequel, you definitely
- 42:06should, I will say obligatory thing.
- 42:09>> Cameron: I did find it funny that when Skyler named off names, he named
- 42:12like Kai Jin
- 42:15Ming Bill. And it was like an obvious, like,
- 42:18not named like the other ones. And I was like, skylar, why didn't you
- 42:21think of like, other, like, Jim Bob Bill? Like,
- 42:24that would have made more sense, but whatever.
- 42:26>> Skylar: So, we did, we did a one shot, Mikaela and I did a one
- 42:29shot with flying Bison podcast. And I'll
- 42:31never forget to, I had this idea for a character. I don't
- 42:34remember what I had for his original name, but
- 42:37I sent him the character sheet. And then, like, we were about
- 42:40to get started, so everybody's in there in the room. And also, you
- 42:43should definitely check out the flying by Bison podcast. If you enjoyed
- 42:46the benders and brews, you should definitely check out those guys out because they're really
- 42:49awesome. but we're all in the chat,
- 42:52and the one running it, he says, hey, Skyler.
- 42:55And I was like, what's up? And he's like, could you come up with a more
- 42:58avatar esque name for your character? And
- 43:01I was like, oh, Mandy. And I'm like,
- 43:04well, okay, I messed up. So I had to click.
- 43:07>> Cameron: If I was on their podcast, they would have made me change my name from Bill
- 43:10Doerr.
- 43:10>> Skylar: Maybe. Maybe. I think it's more just the fact
- 43:13of like, you know, and I don't deny that I did pick
- 43:16something that was probably out there. I probably picked like, Jasper
- 43:19or. No, because even that feels like it could work.
- 43:22It was so. I don't know. It was out there.
- 43:24>> Cameron: I will say when I created the name Bill door, the idea
- 43:26wasn't like it was supposed to seem like a. Yeah,
- 43:29yeah, that was the point. It was supposed to be like an obvious fake
- 43:32name. Right. And stuff.
- 43:33>> Skylar: And wasn't fool.
- 43:35>> Cameron: I think everyone in our group even was
- 43:37like, it's clearly a fake name. And they just.
- 43:40I think they even made jokes about it.
- 43:42>> Skylar: m Mikaela explicitly making a joke about.
- 43:44>> Cameron: But I will say mister Okra knew Bill's real
- 43:47name, but. Because he would have revealed it to in some way. But Bill
- 43:50never revealed to him that he was a firebender.
- 43:52>> Skylar: Right.
- 43:53>> Cameron: That he just kept secret.
- 43:54>> Skylar: And I don't know if there's any reason that Mister overrun necessarily would have
- 43:57known that, unless somehow he
- 44:00met somebody along the way and saw information. I don't
- 44:03know. But he definitely. Yeah. Would have known the name. And
- 44:05>> Cameron: So I had one final question, really. And I was.
- 44:08>> Skylar: That's what you said the last question.
- 44:09>> Cameron: Well, then you told the roadmap Connor asked a question. That's what
- 44:12was. But anyways, my question was, I talked about how
- 44:15I created Bill.
- 44:16>> Skylar: Yeah.
- 44:17>> Cameron: And I wanted to know how the three of you created your characters.
- 44:20>> Skylar: Like what was your and what was your
- 44:22inspiration?
- 44:23>> Cameron: I guess I'll start with Brock. Cause I feel like yours is the
- 44:25simplest compared to the other two.
- 44:27>> Cameron: So, yeah, basically I wanted to create a
- 44:30character that was just
- 44:33dumb as a post and didn't
- 44:36have to use my brain a lot because this was something we were
- 44:39doing in our spare time and I didn't want to have to do a ton of
- 44:42thinking. Plus, it was like my
- 44:45first character in a sort of D and D,
- 44:47his first rpg.
- 44:49>> Skylar: That's true.
- 44:49>> Cameron: And I figured I'd go with one that matches closely
- 44:52to a personality to my already
- 44:55actual real life personality wealth.
- 44:57Yes.
- 44:58>> Mikayla: I don't know if I would agree with that.
- 44:59>> Cameron: To be fair, most people, for their first, like, D and D
- 45:02character rpg character, they typically make their first character very
- 45:05similar to themselves. And that's also what I would recommend
- 45:08as a DM, is make a character close to yourself. Cause it makes role
- 45:11playing easier. Yeah. And then the more you play, the more
- 45:14you learn. You can then start kind of pushing those bounds and
- 45:17stuff.
- 45:17>> Cameron: I feel like if I were to do another campaign, I would want to try and venture
- 45:20out, do something that's not so close to a hard
- 45:23headed personality. but it
- 45:26was very fun to play with. I wanted to do one that was an
- 45:29earthbender because I really liked Toph and the show. I
- 45:32also felt that, like, firebender? Nah,
- 45:35airbender. It's a prequel to the hundred year war, so
- 45:38it's not gonna end up great for them. So I figured
- 45:41Earthbender. Cause I also really liked the earth
- 45:44rumble six episode where Toph beat the bowling.
- 45:46>> Mikayla: Waterbender didn't even cross your body.
- 45:49>> Skylar: No, no.
- 45:51>> Cameron: So I want. So then I thought, okay, I'll build a
- 45:54character that's basically like the kid who grows up to
- 45:57be just like the boulder.
- 45:59>> Cameron: The Boulder feels conflicted about fighting
- 46:02a young blind girl.
- 46:05>> Skylar: What an inspirational character. It's
- 46:08funny you say that. You didn't. If you played again or
- 46:11played a different TTRPG, you wouldn't want to play
- 46:14a character that's just yourself, basically. But
- 46:16ironically, and we have this coming out in November. We did a.
- 46:19It's called Black Friday of the dead. It's an all flesh must be eaten
- 46:22one shot. Kiva. And you literally. And to be fair, it was
- 46:25forced on you. You literally play your
- 46:28literally. Connor, you work as a news
- 46:31reporter guy.
- 46:32>> Cameron: I'm diabetic in the. Diabetic.
- 46:35To be fair, that character was created without the
- 46:38intention of me actually playing.
- 46:40>> Skylar: That's also true. You were supposed to be an NPC of
- 46:42yourself, and then you. It's very complex. So if that's
- 46:45something you're interested in, keep an eye out for that in November.
- 46:48But, what about Michaela? What was your
- 46:51m back story to your. Not your backstory to
- 46:54your character, but the character creation?
- 46:55>> Mikayla: I don't know. I feel like I was talking to Cameron about character creations,
- 46:58and I think I told him I'd do a waterbender or
- 47:01firebender.
- 47:03>> Skylar: How'd you lean on water?
- 47:05>> Mikayla: I, think because I liked,
- 47:08what's her face in the show.
- 47:09>> Skylar: Katara. Yeah, fair enough.
- 47:15>> Mikayla: and then I just wanted
- 47:17something more unique. M that's why
- 47:20the blood bending, which we never used,
- 47:23was in there.
- 47:25>> Skylar: It was always there. I was always one, like, at any
- 47:28given moment, I wasn't sure if you were gonna bust that out.
- 47:31And, I mean, I think there's people over here winking
- 47:34at you aggressively.
- 47:34>> Mikayla: Yeah, blood bend.
- 47:36>> Skylar: Maybe now. And you didn't. But at the same
- 47:39time, like, I'm always, like, wondering, is she gonna, You kept me on
- 47:42my toes on that one all the way to the end,
- 47:45man. My anxiety was spiked.
- 47:47>> Mikayla: Still people, still people.
- 47:50>> Cameron: Imagine how spiked it was because not only did she have blood
- 47:52bending, but Bill had the, fire bending him the whole time. So he had
- 47:55two different people who at any moment could just
- 47:58burst. And you're like, oh,
- 48:01finally ash revealed his abilities. But there's still
- 48:03Mika.
- 48:06>> Mikayla: I think there was one point where I was, like,
- 48:09ready to use it, but I think somebody else
- 48:12did something, and then I was like.
- 48:15And then I didn't feel like it would be as meaningful.
- 48:18>> Skylar: M. Yeah.
- 48:19>> Mikayla: I don't know. Anyway, but. And then I feel like I always
- 48:22play a, darker person.
- 48:25>> Skylar: It's true. You like
- 48:28playing the emo esque characters, edge lord.
- 48:31>> Mikayla: But I feel like in the flying bison, I was not as
- 48:34emo.
- 48:34>> Skylar: Yeah, that's true. That's true.
- 48:35>> Mikayla: So I did. If you want a different side of.
- 48:39>> Skylar: That, check out that.
- 48:40>> Mikayla: Really. Go check it out.
- 48:41>> Skylar: You'll see. Yeah. The vendors and brews
- 48:44characters mentioned, in there, so. Or, well,
- 48:47our us as players, I guess. What about
- 48:50Dave? What inspired Guo Hun? Where did
- 48:52Guohan, where was he birthed from?
- 48:59>> Dave: I think just like, trying
- 49:02to think of backstories, like the circus.
- 49:05And then I like the cliche
- 49:08of running away from home to join the circus. I'm like, what if
- 49:11I reversed that?
- 49:12>> Skylar: Hey.
- 49:13>> Dave: And then, so just like, this young
- 49:15kid who is a little
- 49:18vulnerable, is looking for a home somewhere to fit
- 49:21in. guo in
- 49:23chinese means, like wall. So, like,
- 49:26I had the idea of, like, oh, he's got these walls built up around
- 49:29himself. I didn't really get into
- 49:31that that much. I mean, he was pretty friendly with
- 49:34all you guys.
- 49:36>> Cameron: it would have been weird having two very edgy
- 49:39characters.
- 49:40>> Dave: You know, I got a feel for the group
- 49:43like Cameron's because I also had in mind, like, oh,
- 49:46whoa. Could be like a defensive,
- 49:49more defensive character. But then Cameron's character was kind of
- 49:52offensive and, like, mika's character was kind of,
- 49:54like, more shut off from people.
- 49:57>> Skylar: Right.
- 49:57>> Dave: So then I leaned into the more of, like, the, being the
- 50:00youngest member,
- 50:03kind of being goofy, like Aang is in the show.
- 50:06Yeah, he's the youngest.
- 50:07>> Skylar: I love it. Yeah, I think you nailed it too.
- 50:10>> Mikayla: Like, the care free support, light hearted characters.
- 50:13>> Cameron: Yeah. The carefree support.
- 50:15>> Skylar: Yes.
- 50:15>> Cameron: Stealing hats and snapping things.
- 50:18>> Cameron: Yeah. Also, you becoming the captain.
- 50:21>> Skylar: That was.
- 50:27>> Dave: I almost said that one by, like, was that even recorded?
- 50:30>> Cameron: Was that recorded?
- 50:33>> Cameron: Things went, off.
- 50:34>> Skylar: The thing that we lost was when you guys
- 50:37were escaping the ship, and then I think we lost a bunch of that, so we
- 50:39just had to reference it. So I just had you guys, like, basically, we
- 50:42got up to the moment that you guys jumped off, and then we had to
- 50:45rerecord you guys getting to shore. So it was almost like, a
- 50:48weird cutscene.
- 50:49>> Cameron: But we did have him pretending to be the captain.
- 50:51>> Skylar: Right.
- 50:52>> Cameron: Okay. That's all.
- 50:53>> Cameron: Had the hat.
- 50:53>> Cameron: That's all that matters.
- 50:54>> Dave: Yeah, we did have that. Then, like, I think we stopped
- 50:57recording, and then, like, I made another joke of,
- 51:00like, I've got two peg
- 51:03legs.
- 51:03>> Skylar: I remember that.
- 51:04>> Cameron: That was funny. I also like that it was a
- 51:07post recording.
- 51:08>> Skylar: Where was, you asked. It was Mister M. I think it was Mister Okaran
- 51:11when you guys met him in the spirit world and stuff like that. And then, like, you
- 51:14asked him, you're like, whatever happened to my captain's hat? And Mister
- 51:17Okaran just says, I'm sorry, guo. It's at the
- 51:20bottom of a very big ocean, because
- 51:23it would have been when you guys jumped out.
- 51:24>> Cameron: Well, you also referenced the hat multiple times
- 51:27after that, too, so it was funny that, like, we all. I
- 51:30did find that funny when we all went, we're talking Mister okra in spirit world,
- 51:33and all of us asked, like, kind of important questions, and then Guo's just
- 51:36like, where's my hat?
- 51:40>> Mikayla: But that goes with being the youngest.
- 51:42>> Cameron: That goes with. Yeah. dude.
- 51:43>> Skylar: Oh, my gosh. And that would fit so well into the idea that
- 51:46Guo has a floating island,
- 51:48Restaurant.
- 51:49>> Cameron: On the rest, we're looking for the.
- 51:52>> Dave: Hat, and he'd have one piece.
- 51:54>> Skylar: Yeah.
- 51:56>> Dave: The hat's my treasure.
- 52:01>> Skylar: Oh, my gosh.
- 52:03>> Mikayla: I feel like with all of our one piece references,
- 52:06we just need to do a spin off
- 52:09because he said he's gonna be a pirate.
- 52:13>> Cameron: I actually am working on a campaign that we're gonna
- 52:16record in the future that is themed. It was a
- 52:19combination of one piece and bioshock
- 52:21infinite.
- 52:22>> Skylar: Nice. Which.
- 52:23>> Cameron: So the whole planet is island
- 52:25nations, and the over top of the
- 52:28island nations is a giant. Like, it's basically
- 52:31water nations, one piece. And
- 52:34then above it is a gigantic, like, cloud
- 52:36country.
- 52:37>> Cameron: Nice.
- 52:38>> Skylar: So, yeah, so keep an eye out for an ear.
- 52:41I always say that. Keep an ear out for that.
- 52:42>> Cameron: I think I have a name for it, too, but
- 52:47that's a good name. That's actually a board
- 52:50game.
- 52:50>> Skylar: It's a really fun.
- 52:51>> Cameron: Oh, what was the hold on, hold on. I had a name. It
- 52:54was based from a song, from the postal
- 52:56company. Such great heights.
- 52:58>> Skylar: Such great heights.
- 52:59>> Cameron: That was the name of the.
- 53:01>> Skylar: Oh, I think I know that song. Okay.
- 53:03>> Cameron: Ah.
- 53:03>> Cameron: Out of curiosity, because I just thought of this question. So,
- 53:06Guo, not Nicole, Bill's final
- 53:09thing was the fire thing.
- 53:12Mika's, like, secret ability was the
- 53:15blood bending. What was Guo's last
- 53:18resort move? I don't know if you
- 53:21ever used it.
- 53:21>> Cameron: Well, no, I'm the only one that used my.
- 53:24Well, I was the only one that used my moment of whatever it was.
- 53:27>> Cameron: Moment of truth.
- 53:28>> Cameron: Yeah.
- 53:28>> Skylar: Were you ever hiding a secret from the game master?
- 53:31>> Dave: No, it's Connors referring to the moment of
- 53:34balance.
- 53:34>> Cameron: Oh.
- 53:35>> Dave: I. My character. I
- 53:38kind of. I don't know. I
- 53:41just like the role. Whatever
- 53:44character, type I picked, I had trouble playing it,
- 53:47kind of because it was supposed to be all about, like,
- 53:50confiding in other people and, like, asking
- 53:53for guidance, which you
- 53:56think would be easier, but I don't know. I just struggle with.
- 53:58>> Skylar: No, I mean, I'm right there with you. I mean, I think we can all
- 54:01probably agree jumping into, because we came from a lot of, like,
- 54:04d and d background and things like that. Jumping into
- 54:06avatar legends, it's a very different game, even more so than,
- 54:09like, we played monster of the week, which is also a
- 54:12powered by the apocalypse game. And this felt
- 54:15so vastly different just because there were so many of those kind of
- 54:18emotional elements that they kind of, I don't want to say
- 54:21forced, but, like, they've implemented a lot
- 54:24of opportunity to engage with
- 54:26things very. From an emotional standpoint, like, create
- 54:29dialogue and stuff like that. And it's hard to come from
- 54:32games where everything's so stat and role
- 54:35focused into having such a
- 54:38heavy role play game. So I was lost in, a
- 54:40lot of that kind of stuff, too. I know that it took us maybe,
- 54:43like, till season three to actually have a pretty solid
- 54:46grasp on the rules, honestly, at some point. So,
- 54:49yeah, don't. I wouldn't feel bad by any means, because
- 54:52it. It's a very
- 54:55weirdly complicated game for
- 54:57being weirdly simple.
- 55:00>> Cameron: But what was his like?
- 55:03>> Dave: I would have to read it. it's something like
- 55:06calling somebody to adhere to
- 55:09their true values or something.
- 55:12>> Cameron: to be fair, me and Michaela's didn't just
- 55:15say, use your firebending.
- 55:18Like, it's. It's just. It's basically
- 55:21in the rules. It's basically a moment where you get a
- 55:24pause the game and just
- 55:27take control of the scene. You basically say
- 55:30DM. it's basically an Aangs avatar state, right?
- 55:33Oh, I was gonna reveal that in the AMA. Yes, I've seen the show.
- 55:36I don't think I ever revealed that at all. But, yes,
- 55:43that was the big catalyst. No, but there
- 55:46was. But Aang's avatar state. And so it. The moment
- 55:49of balance is basically your character's
- 55:52avatar state, where basically you get this big moment where you
- 55:55get to describe it. And basically the DM
- 55:57steps back and says, yeah, take the scene. Right, which
- 56:00is, for example, Bill's scene.
- 56:03>> Skylar: Right? Like, you win.
- 56:04>> Cameron: Yeah, you'll win the moment, and you get to do basically
- 56:07whatever you want, which kind of. What was Brock doing the whole time?
- 56:10But anyways, do whatever you
- 56:12want. Do whatever you want.
- 56:16>> Dave: I looked up. So Guo was the
- 56:19adamanta. so his moment of balance was,
- 56:22you've held true to a core conviction even while getting
- 56:25your hands dirty to do what you deemed necessary.
- 56:28But balance means appreciating that other people are
- 56:31just as complex as you are, not merely obstacles
- 56:34or pawns. Tell the GM m how you solve an
- 56:37intractable problem or calm a terrible
- 56:40conflict by relating to dangerous people on a
- 56:43human level.
- 56:44>> Cameron: I don't know. I just. Wow, that'd be a hard one
- 56:47to Adam Yang.
- 56:50>> Dave: And she's a monster.
- 56:54>> Cameron: Yeah. What kind of situations did we find ourselves in
- 56:57where that would have been applicable? Or would we have found any
- 56:59situations where that would have been?
- 57:01>> Cameron: Maybe more. Find the Fire nation guys.
- 57:03>> Skylar: Mm
- 57:04>> Cameron: Like, if we, like, if we ran into, like, a group of them
- 57:07in that, like, that break in mission we did.
- 57:10>> Skylar: Oh, yeah.
- 57:11>> Cameron: Or maybe could have worked.
- 57:12>> Skylar: Yeah.
- 57:13>> Cameron: Yeah.
- 57:14>> Dave: Like some of the horrif
- 57:17employees who weren't totally brainwashed.
- 57:19>> Skylar: or maybe it kind of unbroken, like, broke him out of it or something.
- 57:22To some extent, that could have been. Yeah.
- 57:24>> Cameron: But I don't know.
- 57:25>> Skylar: You kind of did do that.
- 57:26>> Dave: No.
- 57:26>> Skylar: when you guys were escaping the factory, and then you sort of
- 57:29shotgun to the pebbles to kind of.
- 57:31>> Cameron: But he broke them out with damage and not with words, which is
- 57:34what? His moment.
- 57:35>> Skylar: Right.
- 57:35>> Cameron: Balance. but, I mean, that could have.
- 57:37>> Skylar: Been a really cool opportunity.
- 57:39>> Cameron: Yeah.
- 57:39>> Skylar: Yeah.
- 57:40>> Cameron: He raises his flag above him. He goes,
- 57:43we don't have to stand for this tyranny
- 57:46no more. And then they all turn and they
- 57:49see the rays of Gordon, the captain, now
- 57:52behind him, and they all the
- 57:55shades of, mind control falls away.
- 57:58>> Skylar: That would have been awesome. Well, I think
- 58:01that's all of the questions that we kind of had written down for
- 58:04everybody. Want to thank, obviously, all of you guys for
- 58:07playing the game, for being a part of this awesome story that
- 58:10we got to tell. Obviously, I want to thank everybody that sent us
