These Movies Started Slow… But Completely Won Me Over
A strong premise and a great performance don’t always mean I’m hooked immediately.
The Gangster, the Cop, the Devil and Digger both tested my patience before giving me something to care about. In this spoiler-free episode, I discuss what finally pulled me into the serial-killer hunt, why Digger’s courtroom scene changed my experience, and whether enjoying the payoff excuses a disappointing opening.
My ratings:
The Gangster, the Cop, the Devil — 4/5
Digger — 4.5/5
