- 1:21Speaker 1: So today we're talking about voiceless no more, the power of the untold story.
- 1:29Speaker 1: Before we dive into these three keys, let me just share a little bit about my story Because, you see, there was a season in my life when I felt completely voiceless.
- 1:38Speaker 1: I was in a marriage where control, shame and emotional abuse wrapped around me like chains.
- 1:45Speaker 1: I didn't have bruises on my skin, but my soul, my spirit, was aching.
- 1:50Speaker 1: Every day I felt myself shrinking, smaller and smaller, like my thoughts didn't even matter, my dreams feel like too much, I'm far away, never gonna achieve, and my voice silence.
- 2:04Speaker 1: I remember in the last five years of that marriage.
- 2:08Speaker 1: I remember waking up some mornings and feeling this heavy weight pressing down on my chest.
- 2:13Speaker 1: It also felt like I was carrying it, not just emotional heaviness, but an identity pressure that suffocated my hope.
- 2:22Speaker 1: And every day I had a choice to stay curled up under the weight or to rise.
- 2:29Speaker 1: I won't sugarcoat it.
- 2:31Speaker 1: In my depression there were many days I wanted to stay in bed, but there was also a Holy Spirit whisper inside of me.
- 2:40Speaker 1: Someone in me, god, saying get up me.
- 2:44Speaker 1: Someone in me, god, saying get up, make the coffee sit with me, fight for your voice.
- 2:49Speaker 1: So that's what I did Jesus and coffee.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Now, some mornings it was just me, with headphones on so I wouldn't hear anyone else.
- 3:00Speaker 1: Jesus and a warm cup of in my hands.
- 3:01Speaker 1: Headphones because I didn't want to hear someone else talking, always in the room.
- 3:06Speaker 1: So Jesus and coffee.
- 3:09Speaker 1: It didn't feel like strength, my friend, but it was a choice, a choice to believe.
- 3:15Speaker 1: God saw me, in the silence of my own soul, that he was with me, that he was with me, fighting for me.
- 3:23Speaker 1: And here's what I could not see then.
- 3:26Speaker 1: In my fight for my voice, god was forging a message.
- 3:31Speaker 1: My untold story was becoming a testimony for his glory.
- 3:37Speaker 1: I began writing journaling, and I'd hear this listen to the vine dresser, and I'd write down what he said, became comfort for me, and I was able to publish it because I shared it on Facebook and got a great response Later.
- 3:55Speaker 1: Let's go forward.
- 3:57Speaker 1: After my husband's death, after he battled really through unimaginable suffering.
- 4:03Speaker 1: I had another decision, though.
- 4:05Speaker 1: Would I stay hidden in pain or rise again?
- 4:09Speaker 1: That's when I committed to heal my mind, to have therapy, to have neuropsychotherapy, to make sure, when I spoke, it came from a scar and not an open wound.
- 4:21Speaker 1: And now I see it clearly what the enemy tried to silence.
- 4:26Speaker 1: God has anointed me to speak, and my story is not just for me.
- 4:31Speaker 1: Anointed me to speak, and my story is not just for me, it's for the woman, the person I once was, yeah, the woman who feels stuck in silence.
- 4:45Speaker 1: This is why I care so deeply about helping others go from feeling voiceless to becoming powerful, anointed messengers, because your story powerful, anointed messengers, because your story carries kingdom weight.
- 4:56Speaker 1: Okay, let's shift here.
- 5:00Speaker 1: Now I want to give you three simple truths that will help you go from voiceless to carrying a voice full of kingdom impact.
- 5:03Speaker 1: But first let's look at a character who became voiceless in the Bible.
- 5:08Speaker 1: The Bible is full of these untold or overlooked stories, but voices that may be seen in silence, but God was working always.
- 5:19Speaker 1: Let's take Zechariah.
- 5:20Speaker 1: It blew me away this morning when I was reading this, because I was reminded that Zechariah, john the Baptist's father, in Luke 1, the angel told him Elizabeth would conceive in her old age.
- 5:33Speaker 1: He doubted.
- 5:35Speaker 1: In that moment, he was silent.
- 5:38Speaker 1: He could no longer speak until the promise came to pass.
- 5:42Speaker 1: Luke 1 20 says and behold, you shall be silent and unable to speak until the day when these things take place, because you did not believe my words, which will be fulfilled in the proper time.
- 5:56Speaker 1: But here's the key Even in his silence, god was working.
- 6:02Speaker 1: The promise still stood and Zechariah finally spoke again after his son's birth.
- 6:09Speaker 1: As they were saying, what shall his name be?
- 6:12Speaker 1: And he wrote on a tablet his name shall be John.
- 6:16Speaker 1: The minute he did that, his lips came open and sound.
- 6:20Speaker 1: His first words weren't doubt, they were prophecy, they were praise.
- 6:24Speaker 1: You can check it out in Luke 1, 67 through 72, but it was like this blessed be the Lord, god of Israel, for he has visited us and accomplished redemption for his people.
- 6:38Speaker 1: Come on, now that can preach.
- 6:40Speaker 1: He didn't just get his voice back.
- 6:43Speaker 1: He came back with a message that pointed to Jesus, that pointed to the Messiah, that pointed to the one everyone was waiting for.
- 6:54Speaker 1: So think about that.
- 6:57Speaker 1: God used a voiceless person to do that.
- 6:59Speaker 1: He had his voice back.
- 7:01Speaker 1: So let's transition to those three points.
- 7:04Speaker 1: Get a pen and write these down.
- 7:07Speaker 1: The first truth, the first truth God sees you in the unseen.
- 7:16Speaker 1: Just because it's not public doesn't mean it's not powerful.
- 7:19Speaker 1: God forms voices in hidden places the cave, the terrible, rough marriage, the prayer closet, the silent tears.
- 7:29Speaker 1: Listen, listen.
- 7:35Speaker 1: They're not wasted.
- 7:35Speaker 1: Matthew 6, verse 6, reminds us the Father, who sees in secret, will reward you openly.
- 7:38Speaker 1: Second truth your doubt does not disqualify you.
- 7:45Speaker 1: Zechariah doubted, but God still used him.
- 7:51Speaker 1: Your silence doesn't mean your story is over.
- 7:54Speaker 1: It may just mean God is preparing you for the moment when it's time to speak.
- 8:01Speaker 1: Third truth your story is the bridge for someone else's breakthrough.
- 8:09Speaker 1: When you share, you help.
- 8:12Speaker 1: Someone else say oh, I feel that too, me too.
- 8:16Speaker 1: Revelation 12, 11 has a wonderful truth.
- 8:18Speaker 1: It says they overcame him by the blood of the lamb and the word of their testimony.
- 8:24Speaker 1: I mean, come on the blood of the lamb.
- 8:25Speaker 1: That should be a finished work, but he invites us.
- 8:27Speaker 1: You overcome him by the blood that has been shed, jesus, who's alive, and the power of your words, the word of your testimony.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Your testimony is someone else's roadmap out of the dark.
- 8:43Speaker 1: I used to say let my story be your survival guide, but you've got to tell the story.
- 8:52Speaker 1: Finally, I want to speak something over you.
- 8:54Speaker 1: Friend, if you can close your eyes, will you?
- 8:56Speaker 1: If you're driving, please don't close your eyes.
- 8:57Speaker 1: But I want to speak this over you To the woman who feels voiceless.
- 9:04Speaker 1: Heaven has not forgotten your sound.
- 9:08Speaker 1: God has heard every silent cry and he's still writing your story.
- 9:14Speaker 1: Let fear fall off like old chains.
- 9:17Speaker 1: Let shame shatter beneath his grace.
- 9:21Speaker 1: Let silence give away to a rising roar.
- 9:26Speaker 1: Not loud but holy.
- 9:28Speaker 1: Not flashy but true.
- 9:31Speaker 1: You were never invisible to God, you were never too much, you were never not enough.
- 9:39Speaker 1: You are seen, you are chosen, you are called, maybe not for a stage, but definitely for his presence.
- 9:51Speaker 1: So speak, write, lead, share, because your voice is not just your story, it's his glory flowing through you, an untold story ready to be revealed for his glory.
- 10:10Speaker 1: So, friend, if you've been listening and maybe you feel like your voice doesn't matter, let me remind you, please.
- 10:16Speaker 1: Your story matters, your voice matters and your silence is not the end.
- 10:20Speaker 1: I believe God is preparing you to speak, not from striving but from the overflow of your relationship with him.
- 10:29Speaker 1: And today, if today stirred something in you, listen, I'd love for you to join the Stuck no More Voices Academy.
