  Speaker 1: have the Holy Spirit be able to speak through this

  Speaker 1: mic and go through the listeners' ears and be able

  Speaker 1: to reach their hearts and minds and be able to

  Speaker 1: apply these verses to their lives.

  Speaker 2: In the Lord Jesus Christ's name, I pray. Amen. So

  Speaker 2: we're going to be in Galatians....

  Speaker 1: Chapter 3 verse 28 to start and then we'll get

  Speaker 1: into the full chapter a little bit going into 29

  Speaker 1: maybe up to 35 but I want to allow you

  Speaker 1: a little bit of time to grab your Bibles or

  Speaker 1: get on your Bible app and read along as you

  Speaker 1: great journey experience being able to not only follow Christ,

  Speaker 1: but just about each and every day do an episode

  Speaker 1: that is just 15 minutes long. It's not necessarily going

  Speaker 1: to take up all your day or all your night.

  Speaker 1: I just highly encourage to not be distracted by multitasking.

  Speaker 1: Not saying that you're not a great multitasker, but to

  Speaker 1: really be able to apply the verses to your lives.

  Speaker 1: You have to be able to put down the phones.

  Speaker 1: Or get away from the distractions. And I mean putting

  Speaker 1: the phone on mute.

  Speaker 2: Or silent.

  Speaker 1: And truthfully. Getting into the word. And that's how you
• 1:40
  Speaker 1: give time with God. It's not only just in prayer.

  Speaker 1: It's not only just in praise. It's also in the
• 1:46
  Speaker 1: word as well. The most important is prayer. Praise and
• 1:50
  Speaker 1: the word.

  Speaker 2: We can. Obtain. That not only wisdom. But.
• 1:59
  Speaker 1: Knowledge each and every day that we do that. And
• 2:02
  Speaker 1: if we don't do it every day, that's okay as well.

  Speaker 1: It's just when you really get into it, you really
• 2:07
  Speaker 1: got to get into it. Galatians chapter 3 verse 28 states,

  Speaker 1: it does not matter whether you are a Jew or
• 2:15
  Speaker 1: a Gentile. It does not matter whether you are a
• 2:19
  Speaker 1: slave or a free person. It does not matter whether
• 2:23
  Speaker 1: you are a man or a woman. You all belong
• 2:26
  Speaker 1: together because you all belong to Christ Jesus. See, Jesus
• 2:32
  Speaker 1: Christ is for everyone. Not just the poor. Not just
• 2:37
  Speaker 1: the middle class. Not just the rich. For everyone. When
• 2:42
  Speaker 1: we're talking financial status, we can also talk about race.
• 2:47
  Speaker 1: It does not matter if you're a white, black, Chinese, Japanese.
• 2:52
  Speaker 2: Japanese, I mean.
• 2:53
  Speaker 1: We're going to actually be plural and politically correct, in
• 2:57
  Speaker 1: a sense, right? Because everybody wants to criticize everybody. Everybody
• 3:03
  Speaker 1: has a degree, almost a doctor's, in critics. Being a critic.

  Speaker 1: Thinking that their opinion of somebody is, one, valid. Two,
• 3:16
  Speaker 1: it's something that we've all practiced before. Thinking that our
• 3:21
  Speaker 1: feelings and our thoughts only matter. And quite frankly, finding
• 3:26
  Speaker 1: that balance, right? But it does not matter whether you
• 3:33
  Speaker 1: grew up in a church or you didn't. You have
• 3:39
  Speaker 1: that power of choice to choose to belong to Christ Jesus.

  Speaker 1: He's not going to force you. definitely might send more
• 3:51
  Speaker 1: invitations than you want close calls to death depression anxiety
• 3:59
  Speaker 1: these things we think that we can take a pill
• 4:01
  Speaker 1: or we think that we can be able to substitute
• 4:07
  Speaker 1: the emotion with a substance i've been there i'm not
• 4:12
  Speaker 1: here to criticize you i'm no one to judge but
• 4:17
  Speaker 1: especially when i allow the spirit to be able to
• 4:19
  Speaker 1: take Majority of control. If not all control over this episode.

  Speaker 1: You the listener need to know. That I'm a listener
• 4:26
  Speaker 1: as well. I'm not just calling you out. I'm calling
• 4:30
  Speaker 1: myself out. I want to make that clear. So as
• 4:34
  Speaker 1: we go into. Verse 29. I really want you to
• 4:38
  Speaker 1: keep an open mind.
• 4:40
  Speaker 2: Because.

  Speaker 1: This is what. The real promises are. Galatians chapter 3.

  Speaker 1: Verse 29 states, and if you belong to Christ, then
• 4:53
  Speaker 1: you are descendants of Abraham. Because of that, you will
• 5:00
  Speaker 1: receive all the good things that God promised to Abraham.
• 5:04
  Speaker 1: So the same things that were promised to not only Abraham,
• 5:08
  Speaker 1: but the disciples, the believers, it is obtainable for us
• 5:14
  Speaker 1: as well. I've stated this plenty of times, and I
• 5:19
  Speaker 1: love to be able to bring it up, that Jesus
• 5:21
  Speaker 1: himself said that us followers of Christ will do even
• 5:27
  Speaker 1: greater things than Jesus. We have to be able to
• 5:30
  Speaker 1: apply that to our lives, right? Because think about the
• 5:33
  Speaker 1: technology where we're at today. Jesus didn't have that ability
• 5:37
  Speaker 1: to be able to connect with people on a level,
• 5:41
  Speaker 1: whether it's Zoom, WhatsApp, FaceTime, whatever.
• 5:47
  Speaker 2: Jesus didn't have that.
• 5:48
  Speaker 1: Jesus had to walk to these certain places to be
• 5:52
  Speaker 1: able to preach and to teach in a lost world where.
• 5:59
  Speaker 2: We're talking about.

  Speaker 1: The actual followers of Christ and the eyewitnesses were writing
• 6:09
  Speaker 1: this out.
• 6:09
  Speaker 2: They weren't typing this out. They weren't in a press conference.

  Speaker 1: Revealing all the business ideas or whatever that may transpire.
• 6:23
  Speaker 1: And you got to realize how lonely Jesus was. And
• 6:29
  Speaker 1: we think that we're the only ones that face loneliness.
• 6:32
  Speaker 1: As a leader, as someone that is a provider. Think
• 6:37
  Speaker 1: about all the times the disciples questioned Jesus after seeing
• 6:44
  Speaker 1: what he's already done. How many times have we questioned things,
• 6:48
  Speaker 1: but we already know what is good for us?
• 6:52
  Speaker 2: Ooh, spirit.
• 6:56
  Speaker 1: We're seeking these validations. We're seeking these answers. And truthfully,
• 7:01
  Speaker 1: they're already within us. Think about what it says, right?
• 7:07
  Speaker 1: It does not matter whether you are Jew or Gentile,
• 7:09
  Speaker 1: but let's go deeper. Let's go before that. It says,
• 7:13
  Speaker 1: verse 26, all of you God's children, because you believe
• 7:18
  Speaker 1: in Christ Jesus, verse 27, they baptized you as believers
• 7:23
  Speaker 1: in Christ. This means that you have put on Christ,
• 7:27
  Speaker 1: like someone who puts on new clothes. Now I'm going
• 7:32
  Speaker 1: to eliminate the baptism for a second. When it says
• 7:36
  Speaker 1: that you as believers in Christ, this means that you
• 7:40
  Speaker 1: have put on Christ. What does that mean? It is
• 7:43
  Speaker 1: the consciousness of Christ. Having the Holy Spirit. Intertwined with
• 7:49
  Speaker 1: your spirit.
• 7:51
  Speaker 2: How do we do that? Well we do that by praying.
• 7:55
  Speaker 1: And asking the Lord Jesus to put the Holy Spirit
• 7:58
  Speaker 1: in us. And being able to praise. Being able to
• 8:03
  Speaker 1: be in the word. But I'm going to get into
• 8:05
  Speaker 1: the other P word.
• 8:05
  Speaker 2: Which is praise. Because when you are in this worship. Mode.
• 8:15
  Speaker 1: There is no access for any negativity to come through.
• 8:21
  Speaker 1: Nothing will come near to a person that is truly,
• 8:25
  Speaker 1: genuinely praying to the Lord Jesus Christ or worshiping and
• 8:29
  Speaker 1: praising the Lord Jesus Christ. The enemy has to flee.

  Speaker 1: So the more and more that we practice the thy will,
• 8:42
  Speaker 1: not ours, We cannot be contaminated because we have the
• 8:48
  Speaker 1: consciousness of Christ. But we also, I'm talking to somebody
• 8:52
  Speaker 1: tonight that maybe hasn't been baptized and they think that, oh,
• 8:55
  Speaker 1: I have to get baptized. You don't have to get
• 8:59
  Speaker 1: baptized in order to go to heaven. You have to
• 9:01
  Speaker 1: have that relationship with Jesus Christ. I'm not saying that
• 9:08
  Speaker 1: it's not a great public presentation or announcement that you're
• 9:14
  Speaker 1: You're on board with God's will. But even the thief
• 9:21
  Speaker 1: that was next to Jesus on the other cross accepted
• 9:26
  Speaker 1: Jesus Christ because of his belief. He went to be
• 9:31
  Speaker 1: with Jesus in paradise the same day. And however that transpired,
• 9:39
  Speaker 1: we do not know.
• 9:41
  Speaker 2: We do not know.
• 9:43
  Speaker 1: All I know is I know how it feels to
• 9:45
  Speaker 1: be without the Holy Spirit.
• 9:48
  Speaker 2: And I know how it feels to be with the
• 9:49
  Speaker 2: Holy Spirit.

  Speaker 1: And quite frankly, going and doing my own research through
• 9:56
  Speaker 1: my own experiences of being. a rebel and being in
• 10:02
  Speaker 1: my sinful nature and basically possessed and now being with
• 10:10
  Speaker 1: the consciousness of Jesus Christ each and every day because
• 10:13
  Speaker 1: I know what the reward is I know for a
• 10:17
  Speaker 1: fact through my experience How the spirit has. Has worked
• 10:22
  Speaker 1: through me. But I promise you. It's so easy. To
• 10:35
  Speaker 1: get out of believing. In God Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
• 10:41
  Speaker 1: People places and things. Have a major impact on that.
• 10:46
  Speaker 1: That's why I stress. With the people that I love
• 10:48
  Speaker 1: the most.
• 10:49
  Speaker 2: And I.
• 10:50
  Speaker 1: I might be a little overprotective, but at the same time,
• 10:56
  Speaker 1: it's not only me. So I can't get too upset
• 11:00
  Speaker 1: when somebody doesn't want to listen to the Spirit. If
• 11:05
  Speaker 1: the Spirit is all-knowing, if the Spirit is leading, if
• 11:08
  Speaker 1: the Spirit knows when somebody is kind of maybe drifting away,
• 11:13
  Speaker 1: it's not always going to be constructive criticism. And that's
• 11:20
  Speaker 1: something that we have to practice as followers of Christ.
• 11:23
  Speaker 1: That knowing that not everybody is gone through enough experience
• 11:27
  Speaker 1: with the other spirits to realize that the Holy Spirit
• 11:30
  Speaker 1: is the best one to be with.
• 11:34
  Speaker 2: Less drama. More peace. More joy. More happiness.
• 11:41
  Speaker 1: This supernatural power that goes past all understanding and all
• 11:45
  Speaker 1: you have to do.
• 11:46
  Speaker 2: I have three minutes. It's just... Believe. Have faith.
• 11:56
  Speaker 1: And allow God to really show up in your life. See,
• 12:02
  Speaker 1: we all want God to speak to us. And we
• 12:05
  Speaker 1: hear that some people get that soft whisper. But if
• 12:09
  Speaker 1: God's not speaking to you today with that, do not
• 12:12
  Speaker 1: be discouraged. This is your opportunity to get into prayer.
• 12:19
  Speaker 1: your opportunity to dig deeper into the word, right? Like
• 12:25
  Speaker 1: you're doing now, you're listening to a Bible study. But
• 12:28
  Speaker 1: there's plenty of other resources out there. The Ember Show
• 12:32
  Speaker 1: is just one platform of many, many. And it's not necessarily, oh,
• 12:41
  Speaker 1: you want to listen and watch things that make you
• 12:46
  Speaker 1: feel so comfortable. Sometimes, no, you need to feel convicted
• 12:49
  Speaker 1: after a Bible study. Sometimes you come out of service
• 12:52
  Speaker 1: and yeah, your soul is, you feel good, but there's
• 12:56
  Speaker 1: something that you know that you should be doing better
• 12:59
  Speaker 1: and you're not. And then that's where the repentance comes in.
• 13:04
  Speaker 1: And you don't change overnight. Everybody may think that you
• 13:08
  Speaker 1: have changed, but only God knows what you really do.
• 13:13
  Speaker 2: What you do in private will really be rewarded in public.
• 13:20
  Speaker 1: God is in the business of really rewarding those that
• 13:28
  Speaker 1: actually have that private relationship with them. And since we're
• 13:37
  Speaker 1: talking also, and this is how we're going to close out,
• 13:41
  Speaker 1: as one of the body of Christ. So when your
• 13:46
  Speaker 1: brother and sister that's in Christ or believes, or follows,
• 13:52
  Speaker 1: we do not criticize them for falling. We forgive, and
• 13:59
  Speaker 1: we forget, just as we were forgiven, and what we
• 14:02
  Speaker 1: have done has been forgotten. The things you've done in
• 14:06
  Speaker 1: the past, when you really start following Christ, they do
• 14:09
  Speaker 1: not matter anymore. They're not there to give you, they're
• 14:13
  Speaker 1: not there to condemn you, and they're definitely not there
• 14:18
  Speaker 1: to promote you and push you forward, you have to
• 14:23
  Speaker 1: forgive yourself for the things that have been done and
• 14:25
  Speaker 1: the things you have done to others. Because a lot
• 14:29
  Speaker 1: of us accepted these things that others did to us
• 14:33
  Speaker 1: because that's what we thought we believed in our hearts
• 14:36
  Speaker 1: and minds that we deserved. Nobody deserves to be treated
• 14:42
