- 0:27Welcome to this next installment of Opposition Territory here at the Philadelphia Sports Table podcast
- 0:32show, the longest running weekly Philly sports podcast show in the world. That's
- 0:35right, ten years strong. We got great content coming your way here on
- 0:39Opposition Territory and for the rest of this week. Hey, we got great
- 0:43content coming to you next week two, well into the future. But let's
- 0:47concentrate on what we're going to be getting into on this particular podcast, and
- 0:50that's the Tennessee Titans. A very interesting team. They've gone through some changes.
- 0:54The quarterback situation is absolutely fascinating as we're heading into this twenty twenty three
- 0:59season, we're certainly gonna be getting through that in our discussion. Well,
- 1:02let's get to it right now. It's great to have back on the podcast
- 1:06to get into this Tennessee Titans team. What's been happening with this team during
- 1:11the offseason, what we can expect during this twenty twenty three season. From
- 1:14A to Z sports dot Com, we love our good friends over at A
- 1:18to Z Sports. He is coming to us from the Tennessee Titans area.
- 1:23In realm. We've got mister Sam Failing. Hey, are you doing buddy,
- 1:26I'm doing good, jeff Man. Happy to hop on. Yep,
- 1:30you got it right down here in Nashville, down in Titans Land and uh
- 1:34living it up with the Titans here throughout OTA's Mini camp and this offseason.
- 1:40Ready for football to be back. Absolutely absolutely. I think we got like,
- 1:44what eighty eight days. I know, I know it's eighty eight days
- 1:46until the Eagles actually kick off, So I think it's a few more days
- 1:49I think until the Titans kickoff. But man, I need football back.
- 1:52I need it. We're in that, we're in that that stage here where
- 1:56we got baseball, and that's basically a here, you know. So,
- 2:00uh, I love baseball. Baseball I would maybe my number one sport.
- 2:07When my team isn't doing so well, summer becomes pretty long and dragging.
- 2:10Yeah. Sometimes absolutely well. This Tennessee Titans team, Sam, is so
- 2:16interesting to me, and not just simply from what has happened with regard to
- 2:21the offseason, but just the various dynamics that we saw from last year,
- 2:25how it translates into what we might see in twenty twenty three when they take
- 2:30the field during the regular season. And I remember the last time that you
- 2:34were on the podcast, we were heading into Week thirteen last season, it
- 2:38was Eagles Titans in Philly at the Link, and I was really concerned.
- 2:43I remember on that that particular show, that that preview show, I was
- 2:47worried about the Titans defense. And at the end of the day, man,
- 2:52the Eagles really took it to them. Eagles won that game thirty five
- 2:55to ten, and the defense, the Titans defense gave up nearly four d
- 3:00passing yards to the Eagles in that game, and up until then, the
- 3:05Titans they hadn't allowed their opponents to score more than twenty points in their previous
- 3:09eight games there. So again I was worried about the defense last year.
- 3:15But I don't know. The Eagles again and being a prolific team, I
- 3:17mean, they're a team that went to the Super Bowl, really took it
- 3:20to them. I'm wondering, was the Eagles Titans game last year was that
- 3:24kind of the nail in the coffin for the Titans And was that the moment
- 3:30that truly kind of ended their season or was there another moment that you can
- 3:32think of that was maybe more relevant than that particular game. I don't think
- 3:38that the Eagles game is necessarily a moment I would say ended the Titans season.
- 3:44I mean, you keep in mind it might not have felt like it
- 3:46at the time. The Titans were seven and five even after that loss,
- 3:50and still had control and command of the AFC South. I will say the
- 3:54Eagles game has really when a lot of the bubbling issues started to boil over
- 4:00for the Titans, a lot of injuries. The injuries became a factor,
- 4:05especially in that secondary, with their ability to defend deep, with their ability
- 4:10to limit x X plays. You saw A J. Brown tear the Titans
- 4:15apart with two touchdowns in that game, give them a spanking on a celebration
- 4:18while Titans ownership is looking on. Meanwhile, Trail and Burkes gets hurt in
- 4:24that game, and the Titans had three wide receivers for the second half active
- 4:29and healthy. Those were Robert Woods, Nick Westbrook at Keene and CJ.
- 4:32Board, who really had played very limited offensive snaps in his NFL career.
- 4:38That was when things started to bubble over. John Robinson was fired later that
- 4:42week, and you started to see Amy Adams shrunk and ownership show how fed
- 4:46up they were with the approach that John had taken in the previous offseason and
- 4:50how it was resulting in losses and embarrassing losses on the field. Did it
- 4:57end their season? No, because you Bill had control of things. I
- 5:00would say Ryan Tannehill going down against the Los Angeles Chargers a few weeks later.
- 5:06Yeah, you go to seven and seven and lose your quarterback, really
- 5:10the only thing you had going for you offensively at that point in time.
- 5:14That was kind of the nail on the proverbial coffin. But the Eagles were
- 5:18they lost the previous game or to Cincinnati. It was a close game.
- 5:24You kind of threw your hands up, said, oh, well, good
- 5:26team beat you. Good good matchup. That Eagles game was the first time
- 5:30those of us covering the Titans and Titans fans kind of looked in the mirror
- 5:34and said, oh, this is starting to go downhill fast. Yeah.
- 5:39Yeah, it was kind of like the wheels started wobbling. I guess you
- 5:41would say, wasn't the nail on the coffin, but the wheels were wobbling.
- 5:45They were you know, you know you have you have some bolts and
- 5:47things like that coming off those wheels, as wheels are just very unsteady for
- 5:51sure. Um and again, having it happened in Philadelphia, just you know,
- 5:57with A J. Brown of course, and the history with the Titans.
- 6:00It was it was a very I hate to say it poetic, a
- 6:04sports poetic story, but that's essentially what it was. You know. Well,
- 6:10look, I mean I was reading some of your tweets today as we're
- 6:12moving along here, and I wanted to you said, Malik Willis looked pretty
- 6:16good today, and I wanted to get into this quarterback situation this coming season
- 6:20for the Titans. I think it's one of the more fascinating storylines in the
- 6:25NFL, quite frankly, and one of the more under the radar storylines because
- 6:29of the quarterback room. I mean, they drafted will Levis this year,
- 6:32they drafted Leek Willis last year, and they have a veteran Ryan Tannehill.
- 6:38And as an outsider, it was removed from Titans Nation. It seems like
- 6:44they're going to kind of just try to throw some stuff against the wall with
- 6:46these quarterbacks to see what sticks. That's what it seems like from the outside.
- 6:50And if so, it's an interesting strategy. For sure. You're in
- 6:55twenty twenty three, when you look at the quarterback situation throughout the NFL,
- 6:59are they doing that, and what really is going on with this quarterback situation
- 7:04heading into twenty twenty three year. I agree with you. I think it's
- 7:09one of the very very interesting, very underrated storylines because Ran Carthon, Mike
- 7:15Rabel and the Titans are trying to do something very unique. They are attempting
- 7:21to compete, win the AFC South and hopefully win playoff games while simultaneously attempting
- 7:30to develop and build their future quarterback that I think they're following a similar model
- 7:35to what we saw go perfectly perfect. It went perfect in Kansas City with
- 7:42Alex Smith, the veteran that you said, oh he's okay, he's fine.
- 7:47We'd like to get improvement from the position, but if the rosters got
- 7:50around him, you can win and develop the next guy. Will Levis is
- 7:56their future in their eyes. To me, Malik Willis is the lottery ticket
- 8:01because Malik Willis is John Robinson's guy, not Randon Carthon's guy. I don't
- 8:05think he's Mike Rabels guy. And so as you get, I mean,
- 8:09it's very fascinating because there's really been four in the last ten years, four
- 8:15times that an NFL team has invested a top three top three round draft pick
- 8:20on a quarterback to then draft another quarterback in the top three rounds of the
- 8:26year after them at Sean Mannion, Josh Rosen, Deshaun Keiser, and there's
- 8:31one other one on the list. But the point is the history is not
- 8:33great with that first right pick, right, I think it's Kobe Kessler with
- 8:39the Browns is actually the collage now that I think so. I mean those
- 8:43are guys that were traded, traded, traded, and stayed around as a
- 8:46backup. So what is Malik Where's Malik Willis's future? Maybe not with Tennessee
- 8:52if he doesn't take a big step forward. But it's very, very fascinating
- 8:56to see kind of Ryan Tannehill's the starter and these two guys aren't necessarily competing
- 9:01to be the backup. They're competing to be the future. Yea, which
- 9:05is going to be fun to play out, like fun to watch play out
- 9:07throughout the preseason and the regular season. It really is, because you know,
- 9:13I look at it as a gamble in a way, because you know,
- 9:16you're pinning two guys against each other. What could that potentially do to
- 9:20the locker room? What could potentially do to the even the quarterback room,
- 9:22if you want to niche it down even more, you know, I mean,
- 9:24these guys know that one of them is going to be the future and
- 9:28the other one is likely going to be out the door over the course of
- 9:31the next couple seasons. What does that do to the interpersonal dynamics and the
- 9:35relationships and then relationships, I think sam is what is really critical with teams
- 9:41anymore gaining success. It's something we've been talking about a lot on this podcast
- 9:46that the teams that are successful in this league and in sports in general,
- 9:50frankly, they have solid relationships. The players have solid relationships with their coaches,
- 9:56with various other staffs. Things just seem to me and work. And
- 10:01I look at this situation where you're talking about who's going to be the future
- 10:03quarterback. Things could potentially get messy here if they really could. Yeah.
- 10:09No, I think that's very very interesting. Dynamic of all of this is
- 10:16Malik Willis. You drafted him knowing he was a project. Then he gets
- 10:20thrown into the fire a little bit earlier than some of us would have expected
- 10:24or even liked, and you kind of throw your hands up and say,
- 10:28whoa, whoa, whoa. This guy's not ready. I look at it
- 10:31and say, what else did you expect? He came out of Liberty not
- 10:33playing under center. He was coming out of like an offense with Hugh Freeze
- 10:39that really didn't look anything like a pro style system. Do you give up
- 10:43on that guy after year one? If the answer is yes, are you
- 10:46doing right by him? If the answer no, well I invest a second
- 10:50round pick in will Lepis. It's very convoluted and the Titans are really going
- 10:54to have to pick a direction and stick to it by the end of this
- 10:58season. That The other interesting aspect of this, Jeff, is where what
- 11:03do the Titans do if you're five and seven bry Week twelve? Yeah,
- 11:07what do you do with Ryan Tannehill at that point? Who's the next guy
- 11:11up? Are you comfortable finishing this season not knowing what you have in either
- 11:16one of those other two guys in terms of regular season first team offense production
- 11:22in a real NFL game, I don't know, And I don't know what
- 11:26Mike Rabel's philosophy is on that. We're gonna have to find out. But
- 11:30it'll be fun to watch for sure. Absolutely. And you mentioned Ran Carthon
- 11:33earlier in Texas GM, and you know, what's he going to be doing
- 11:37about this situation, And if, like you said, if they do end
- 11:41up going five and seven, you know what kind of pressure is put on
- 11:45him in the front office and then other aspects of this offense. And recently
- 11:50ran he kind of he kind of put to rest publicly that they're not looking
- 11:54to trade Derrick Henry. Don't necessarily know if that's case. Front offices do
- 11:58say a lot of things that don't end up being the case from time to
- 12:01time. Look, as we know, Derrick Henry's been the NFL's best running
- 12:05back for the past five seasons, for sure, no doubt about that at
- 12:09all. But I do wonder, you know, if that means that the
- 12:13offense is still going to run through Derrick Henry for yet another season. And
- 12:18do you see his role potentially changing at all due to the various dynamics with
- 12:22quarterback position and just where he's at in his career and where this Titans offense
- 12:26is going to be going. What are your thoughts? Well, I think
- 12:30it has to. I think something that you learned last season is that teams
- 12:35are able to prepare for Derrick Henry. You saw it with the Eagles last
- 12:41season right Denver did the exact same thing. Teams came to the stadium knowing
- 12:46that twenty two was going to get the ball twenty five times, and when
- 12:50they knew that, they were able to contain him, and the Titans offense
- 12:52wasn't really able to do much else. I think Derrick Henry has been the
- 12:56league's best runner in the NFL FELL for the last five seasons. Has he
- 13:01been the league's best running back? I would put my hand up and say
- 13:05probably not, because the issue that Titans ran into Derrick Henry last year is
- 13:11he couldn't be on the field for third down. He's not a great pass
- 13:13blocker. He's essentially non existent in the passing game in terms of actual route
- 13:20running. His receiving numbers ticked up in production last year. A lot of
- 13:24that was on screens and balls designed to go to him, not really improvisation.
- 13:30And what you're going to see the Titans starting to do this year,
- 13:33I think is switch their offense to incorporate their running backs as more of an
- 13:39offensive pass catching weapon. That's what they liked so much in Taj Spears,
- 13:43the Tulane running back they drafted in the third round. I think he'll kind
- 13:48of fall into a similar role to Dontrelle Hilliard did before he went down last
- 13:52season. Even Derek you've seen starting to get reps out wide and in the
- 13:58passing game in early OTAs mini camp. The Titans are going to want to
- 14:01evolve the running back positions. So yes, their offense is still defined and
- 14:07centered around Derek Henry, But what that looks like in twenty twenty three I
- 14:11think looks a lot different under new offensive coordinator Tim Kelly, because it has
- 14:15to. If you're one dimensional again, you're going to get beats. We
- 14:20saw that last season. Yeah, it's really going to be interesting to see
- 14:24what happens with this offense. Because as we move over to the defense here,
- 14:28I wanted to get your thoughts on what's going to be happening with this
- 14:31unit too, because I think it's fair to say that the Titans defense is
- 14:35undeniably their best chance of really being competitive. I would say here in the
- 14:39twenty twenty three season as we're looking at looking on to it, I mean,
- 14:43last year they allowed fifteen point one points per game from Week three to
- 14:48Week ten, So I'm wondering, Sam, you know, how do you
- 14:50characterize this defense this coming season, their importance and what they can possibly do
- 14:56to take that pressure off the offense. That's kind of in some ways gonna
- 15:00be trying to find an identity. Well, I think the biggest key for
- 15:03this defense is going to be getting the production out of the front four that
- 15:07you know they're capable of giving you. It's really really a good group up
- 15:11front. Jeffrey Simmons just got his big contract and extension. He's up there
- 15:16with the Nico Autry Rashad Weaver had five and a half sacks last season,
- 15:20and he might be third or fourth on the depth chart off the edge.
- 15:24Harold Landry's returning from an acl surgery after a twelve and a half sack season.
- 15:28I've loved the energy from arden Key upfront. Even Tier Tart, an
- 15:33underrated run stopper that's looking to add a pass rushing element to his game as
- 15:37well, just signed his second round tenders. So that group as a whole
- 15:41I think can be very, very productive. They fought through some injuries last
- 15:46year with Bud Dupree, with Jeffrey Simmons dealing with an ankle for a lot
- 15:50of the season, not as productive as he would have liked to be.
- 15:54If they can get after the quarterback, this defense can be really good.
- 15:58Now beyond a group, I do think the defense is solid, but I
- 16:03think there's some more question marks. You have limited depth at corner, you
- 16:07have limited depth and newcomers at inside linebacker. I think the starters are great.
- 16:12Beyond that, I'm not sure, but it all starts with that front
- 16:17group. That that front four. If they're getting after the passer, the
- 16:19Titans these going to force turnovers and really rek havoc on opposing offenses. If
- 16:26they're not like last season, you're gonna see games like Jalen Hurtz throwing for
- 16:30four hundred plus yards against the Titans defense, They're gonna get beat deep often.
- 16:34Again, folks talking to Sam Falin from a to z sports dot com
- 16:37follow on Twitter is a great great follow at Sam Underscore Falin pH l e
- 16:44N absolutely again a great great follow, and I wanted to get into some
- 16:48strengths and weaknesses of this Titans team here on our Opposition Territory podcast, Sam,
- 16:52we'd love to ask our guests about the strengths and weaknesses heading into this
- 16:57particular NFL season here coming up and around the corner. Biggest strength of this
- 17:03Titans team. What do you think that is? And you know what should
- 17:07we be on the lookout for as twenty twenty three is right around the corner.
- 17:12Yeah, it's not really a position group for me as much as it
- 17:15is a common characteristic or common trait that I think a lot of these Titans
- 17:21have in common, which is their versatility. Rand Carthon and Mike Vrabel really
- 17:25really emphasize this offseason in free agency in the players they were looking to get
- 17:30rid of, players they were looking to bring in in the draft as well,
- 17:34And I kind of see that as a common theme throughout a lot of
- 17:37the Titans defense. They brought in Sean Murphy bunting to the defense, has
- 17:42ability to go inside and outside. Elijah Mulbin, a nickel, has been
- 17:47a nickel for his first two seasons in the league. They've been working him
- 17:49back at safety. Roger McCreery can do both. Aziz Al Schier has some
- 17:53flexibility and versatility. And then their offensive line. Peter Schrodsky, their first
- 17:59round pick, a Northwestern right now is playing left guard. They feel really
- 18:03good about his ability to play left tackle. That's what he did for the
- 18:06Wildcats in college, but he can do both. Same thing with Daniel Brunskill,
- 18:10a veteran from the San Francisco forty nine ers that ran knew Well signed
- 18:15brought over. He slotted at right guard, but if things go awry,
- 18:19Daniel Brunskill can play any one of the five positions on the Titans offensive line.
- 18:25So they've tried to kind of get some veteran pieces that have a little
- 18:30bit of versatility to their game to help account for some of the lacking depth
- 18:34that they have on the roster. Because if you can fill in with another
- 18:37veteran who has the ability to just switch positions to move over one spot,
- 18:42it prevents you from having a scenario like they did last season where you are
- 18:47on the offensive line starting a left tackle that is no business being on an
- 18:51NFL field. Absolutely, it reminds me quite frankly. I don't mean to
- 18:55like bring things back like to the Eagles or anything like that, because,
- 18:56believe me, this is a team that you know us have some flaws,
- 19:00certainly, but when it comes to the Eagles offensive line, when it comes
- 19:03to their offensive line coach Jeff Stoutlin, the versatility that is so important to
- 19:10this Eagle's offensive line. It reminds me what's happening down down in Tennessee and
- 19:15down in Nashville, because, like, you see that versatility, and that's
- 19:18really what's happening with the offensive line in general, I think in the NFL.
- 19:22And I don't necessarily want to say the Eagles are responsible, but it
- 19:26is. We are seeing success throughout the league where versatile, Uh guards can
- 19:33you know what, if they have to play the center position, they can
- 19:34do that. Guards that may have to just come out and play the right
- 19:38tackle position, they may have to do that. And and that versatility is
- 19:42so important in today's NFL, especially on the offensive line. The Titans are
- 19:45getting it done, no for sure. And you know, this is what
- 19:51Mike Vrabel said after the draft in his press conference about just about every draft
- 19:56pick that Titans made. Why did they like Taj Spears because he can run,
- 20:00because he can catch, because he can run right outs. Why did
- 20:03they like Cincinnati tight end Josh Wiley because he's a pass catching tight end that
- 20:07can line up at fullback if you need him to. Like, this is
- 20:11a theme that they've done here with their free agents, and I've really been
- 20:15a fan of it. Like, this is an approach that's not necessarily pretty.
- 20:18Fans don't necessarily see this. It doesn't jump out on a roster or
- 20:22a depth chart to you. But it's something that shows up in week twelve,
- 20:26thirteen, and fourteen, and something they haven't had last year and the
- 20:30years prior when injuries have really ruined the Titans season. You need versatility and
- 20:37depth in order to overcome injuries. So I think they're trying to circumvent that.
- 20:41And keep in mind, Ran was a big, you know, scouter.
- 20:45He was pro director of scouting, pro personnel, player personnel with San
- 20:48Francisco. And this is all about what the Niners do. They go all
- 20:52out and get places like Deebo Samuel and Christian McCaffrey and you know Telennoah who
- 20:57Fung Guh, players that have versatile skill sets in a given offense or defense.
- 21:03It's it's going to be interesting to see how this versatility really takes shape
- 21:06during the course of this season for the Titans. But on the flip side
- 21:08of things, what about the weakness. What is the biggest weakness on this
- 21:14Titans team heading into this season. Well, right now, it has to
- 21:18be the wide receiver room, and I hate to like it feels like I'm
- 21:22beating a dead horse with this narrative over and over again. But it's the
- 21:25truth. Until the Titans signed, until they signed DeAndre Hopkins, or they
- 21:30make another move to bring in a veteran wide receiver. I am baffled by
- 21:36their lack of movement at the position. We saw Mike Rabel last season say,
- 21:41well, who the f would we throw the ball to? I asked
- 21:45Mike Vrabel, Hey, teams are planning on stopping Derrick Henry. Yeah,
- 21:48do you think you need to switch your identity? And he said, well,
- 21:52what other identity would you like me to go with? He has to
- 21:55cater to his personnel. We've seen it over and over and over again.
- 21:59And yeah, you came into the offseason, he didn't draft a wide receiver
- 22:02until the seventh round. You're only wide receiver. Yeah, yeah, Your
- 22:07only free agent edition is Chris Moore from the Houston Texans, who then signed
- 22:11Robert Woods. He's out the door. You haven't gotten any better at the
- 22:15position. You could argue that they've gotten worse. Mike Vrabel, the head
- 22:19coach who played defense, has more career, has more career receiving touchdowns than
- 22:26all of the times wide receivers combined. That's how bad this group is right
- 22:33now. And I love Traylan Burts. I think Traylan Burts is going to
- 22:36have a monster season in twenty twenty three, but the depth beyond him is
- 22:41just nonexistent at the at the spot, and I don't know what they're going
- 22:45to do. Ryan Tannehill, I'm praying for him. The guy needs some
- 22:51help and he doesn't have it right now. Right right, you know,
- 22:55if after they traded AJ Brown to the Philadelphia Eagles, I mean the thing
- 22:59that the things that we were talking about as as Eagles fans were, Okay,
- 23:03the Tennessee Titans, they got a plan of action. They got a
- 23:06plan in their back pocket with regard to the wide receiver. They're gonna let
- 23:08a talent like a J. Brown leave, Okay, they have a plan
- 23:12of action here for the future. And it's mind boggling here in mid June
- 23:15twenty twenty three, there's no plan of action. Really, it's really mind
- 23:21boggling for a team that needs to really find that offensive identity, especially in
- 23:26a league that is very pass happy and pass heavy. The fact that they
- 23:29don't have that is really it's really quite astonishing. Yeah, and you saw
- 23:33the Titans offense at its best. Yes, it was led by Derrick Henry.
- 23:37Yes, he was still your bell cow that she gave the ball to
- 23:40twenty five thirty times a game. The difference is that you had an AJ
- 23:44Brown and you had a Corey Davis who were able to stretch the field for
- 23:48you. And that was the Titans at their best. And it really is
- 23:52mind boggling, is the right word. That you can watch that groups succeed
- 23:56how they did and then say, nah, the position groups just not that
- 24:00important, right, I don't get that, And that seems to be what
- 24:04they've done. Uh, perhaps DeAndre Hopkins will find his way to Music City
- 24:11and all of this will be for naught to end, the group will be
- 24:12just fine with DEDI hop and trailing Burkes in twenty three. Until that happens,
- 24:17I will be, uh, you know, singing the woes of the
- 24:22wide receiver room ad nauseum, and I will not will not stop. I
- 24:26don't care if I'm beating a dead horse. Like you said, It's it's
- 24:29a truth. It's a truth. It is the absolute truth for sure.
- 24:33Well, Sam to uh. End things here. One last topic and question
- 24:37wanted to get into with you. Uh. I mean, look, Titans
- 24:41have won the AFC South Division twice over the past three years, but now
- 24:45the Jaguars really appear to be the team to beat in the division. They
- 24:48seem to be in the driver's seat, having that momentum. Uh after after
- 24:53after getting a playoff win. You know, they they may have even gotten
- 24:56better during this offseason. It's argue, you can argue. So what are
- 25:02your thoughts about how this division looks really heading into this season? Possibly Jaguars
- 25:07at the top. Could the Titans actually compete here in the division? What
- 25:11are your thoughts? I do think they'll compete in the division. I think
- 25:14their schedule is more favorable this season. You don't have to run through Buffalo,
- 25:18Kansas City, Philadelphia, Dallas, all within the Cincinnati, all within
- 25:22the same gauntlet of a schedule that Tennessee had last season. I think that
- 25:27on its own will make the Titans more competitive. It's also important to remember,
- 25:33right, you're one strip sack fumble by Josh Dobbs away from winning the
- 25:37AFC South last year. Yea, even with the number of injuries and frankly
- 25:42bad roster that they had. I think Mike Vrabel is still the best coach
- 25:47in this division and he will maintain a level of competitiveness with his roster.
- 25:52Do they win it, I don't know, and I think what they do
- 25:56from here until September or ninth through whenever kickoff is will really be the determining
- 26:03factor in terms of what talent they add and how they're able to adapt and
- 26:07add multiple dimensions to their offense. I do think this division will be fun,
- 26:12though, and you could argue one of the more fun, maybe the
- 26:15most fun division to watch in football. Not because you'll have super playoff teams
- 26:21like teams that are competing for the Super Bowl, but you're gonna have some
- 26:25young quarterbacks that it's going to be hard to take your eyes away from.
- 26:27Bright's young CJ. Stroud, Trevor Lawrence, and potentially Will Levis all playing
- 26:33in the same division in the AFC South. That's some entertaining football right there.
- 26:40The future of this division looks bright, at least at the QB position,
- 26:45and for all of these fan bases, I think what we're watching for
- 26:49is what happens under center. The Texans don't care about their division the Colts
- 26:55don't care about their division. The Titans fans could even get by saying we're
- 26:59not gonna win the division this year. If it means Will Lovice looks really
- 27:03good and looks like the answer at QB moving forward. Yeah, So it's
- 27:06all about the quarterback position in the AFC South and that's gonna make for some
- 27:11fun games. It's gonna it's gonna make for fun games, fun division.
- 27:15A lot of great storylines coming out of this division for sure. And again,
