  Speaker 1: you may recall, not very long ago, you, the main

  Speaker 1: character of the Biomorfer series, were just a regular kid. Well,

  Speaker 1: the regular kid who desperately wanted to become a Biomorfer.

  Speaker 1: You traveled to Biomorfer headquarters... joined a group of other
• 3:34
  Speaker 1: hopeful kids, and were given a temporary biomorfer for your trial.

  Speaker 1: That trial turned out to involve something you definitely weren't expecting.

  Speaker 1: A living creature made entirely of mac and cheese. Instead
• 3:53
  Speaker 1: of simply fighting it, you scanned the creature, transformed into
• 3:58
  Speaker 1: a mac and cheese creature yourself, and realized that it
• 4:03
  Speaker 1: wasn't actually trying to hurt anyone. It was just scared
• 4:07
  Speaker 1: and lonely and confused. So you were able to calm
• 4:13
  Speaker 1: it down and capture it willingly. And because you chose
• 4:18
  Speaker 1: to understand the creature instead of simply attacking it, well,
• 4:24
  Speaker 1: you passed the test. The temporary biomorfer permanently bonded itself
• 4:31
  Speaker 1: to your wrist. And then you were given one more form,
• 4:36
  Speaker 1: a gigantic flaming phoenix that, well, allowed you to travel
• 4:42
  Speaker 1: from place to place. Which is why, right now, you
• 4:48
  Speaker 1: happen to be flying several thousand feet above the ground
• 4:53
  Speaker 1: with your entire body on fire. You spread your enormous wings.

  Speaker 1: Flames blast from behind them. You rocket forward through the
• 5:05
  Speaker 1: sky as the biomorpher's map floats in your vision, almost
• 5:12
  Speaker 1: like a giant invisible screen that only you can see.

  Speaker 1: Across it are thousands of blinking red dots, quantum anomalies,
• 5:25
  Speaker 1: Creatures and objects changed by the strange uncertainty fields that
• 5:31
  Speaker 1: sometimes pass through your world. And right now, one of
• 5:37
  Speaker 1: those dots is getting closer and closer and closer. You
• 5:46
  Speaker 1: tilt one enormous wing. Your body turns through the air.
• 5:51
  Speaker 1: Below you, forests stretch across the land in every direction.
• 5:56
  Speaker 1: Mountains rise above them, with little rocky peaks cutting through
• 6:01
  Speaker 1: the morning clouds. The blinking red light moves toward the
• 6:07
  Speaker 1: center of your vision. Quantum anomaly, 4.8 kilometers. You grin. Well,

  Speaker 1: you would grin if you still had lips. Instead... Your

  Speaker 1: giant phoenix beak opens. Okay, that's going to take some
• 6:28
  Speaker 1: getting used to. You angle your wings downward. Flames explode
• 6:34
  Speaker 1: behind you, and you dive at incredible speed. The wind
• 6:40
  Speaker 1: races past your feathers three kilometers, two kilometers, one. Then
• 6:48
  Speaker 1: you see smoke. At first, you assume it's coming from
• 6:52
  Speaker 1: some kind of forest fire, but as you get closer,
• 6:58
  Speaker 1: you realize the smoke is rising from a small village
• 7:01
  Speaker 1: tucked between two mountains. And something is definitely wrong. There's
• 7:08
  Speaker 1: a huge crash as a giant boulder flies through the
• 7:12
  Speaker 1: air and smashes through the side of a wooden house.
• 7:17
  Speaker 1: You pull your wings tight against your body, and dive
• 7:21
  Speaker 1: even faster. Another rock rises straight out of the ground.
• 7:27
  Speaker 1: Not rolls and not falls, but rises. It floats several
• 7:34
  Speaker 1: meters into the air, and then it shoots forward. With
• 7:40
  Speaker 1: a huge boom, it crashes through a little stone wall
• 7:45
  Speaker 1: surrounding somebody's garden. People run through the streets. Some are
• 7:51
  Speaker 1: hiding behind buildings, others are carrying children away from the
• 7:55
  Speaker 1: center of the village. And standing right in the middle
• 8:00
  Speaker 1: of everything is the anomaly. It's huge, at least three
• 8:08
  Speaker 1: times taller than a person. Its body is made from
• 8:13
  Speaker 1: enormous chunks of dark gray rock fitted together almost like
• 8:19
  Speaker 1: pieces of armor. Its arms are gigantic. Its hands are
• 8:24
  Speaker 1: made from clusters of jagged stones. But the strangest part
• 8:30
  Speaker 1: is its chest. A crack runs straight through the rocks
• 8:35
  Speaker 1: in the center of its body and inside, something glows.
• 8:42
  Speaker 1: Bright orange. Molten.
• 8:45
  Speaker 3: Lava.
• 8:47
  Speaker 1: Lava. It looks almost like the creature has a miniature
• 8:52
  Speaker 1: volcano burning inside its chest. Another crack opens across its shoulder.

  Speaker 1: Orange light shines through. The creature raises both hands. The

  Speaker 1: ground shakes, and dozens of stones begin lifting in the
• 9:10
  Speaker 1: air around it. Some are no bigger than baseballs, while
• 9:15
  Speaker 1: others are the size of small cars. Oh, this is
• 9:20
  Speaker 1: not good, you think. You fold your wings and your
• 9:25
  Speaker 1: body drops from the sky. The rock monster throws both
• 9:30
  Speaker 1: arms forward and every stone launches toward the houses. You
• 9:37
  Speaker 1: spread your wings and a wall of flame erupts from them.
• 9:42
  Speaker 1: The smaller stones hit the fire first. They glow red,
• 9:46
  Speaker 1: then orange. Then, with a fshhh, they melt. Drops of
• 9:54
  Speaker 1: glowing stone splash harmlessly onto an empty section of road. Wow,

  Speaker 1: your fire is really powerful. The larger rocks keep coming, though.
• 10:07
  Speaker 1: You twist through the air. One boulder flashes past your
• 10:12
  Speaker 1: left wing. Another comes straight toward your head. You open
• 10:17
  Speaker 1: your beak and something inside you instinctively knows what to do.
• 10:23
  Speaker 1: Heat gathers in your chest. Then, you release it. A
• 10:29
  Speaker 1: concentrated blast of fire explodes from your mouth. The boulder
• 10:35
  Speaker 1: turns red, then white, then splits apart. Two molten halves
• 10:42
  Speaker 1: fly past either side of you. Okay, you shout.
• 10:48
  Speaker 3: What?
• 10:48
  Speaker 1: Except because you're still a phoenix, it actually comes out
• 10:51
  Speaker 1: as a.
• 10:54
  Speaker 1: The rock monster looks up. Its glowing orange eyes lock
• 10:58
  Speaker 1: onto you. For a moment, it stands perfectly still. Then,
• 11:05
  Speaker 1: it reaches down. Its hand plunges directly into the earth.
• 11:11
  Speaker 1: You blink. What are you? The creature pulls upward. and
• 11:17
  Speaker 1: a huge section of ground tears free, a boulder nearly
• 11:23
  Speaker 1: as large as the monster itself rises above its head.
• 11:29
  Speaker 3: Oh.
• 11:30
  Speaker 1: The creature throws it, you flap both wings, fire erupts downward,
• 11:36
  Speaker 1: and your body rockets upward just as the boulder passes
• 11:40
  Speaker 1: beneath you. You loop through the air, turn, dive... And fire.
• 11:48
  Speaker 1: A stream of flame slams directly into the creature's chest.
• 11:54
  Speaker 1: You expect it to stumble backwards. Maybe the rocks will
• 11:58
  Speaker 1: crack or something. Maybe the lava inside it will react somehow.

  Speaker 1: But instead, the creature simply stands there. Your fire washes
• 12:11
  Speaker 1: across its stone body. The rocks glow slightly. The lava
• 12:16
  Speaker 1: inside its chest becomes even brighter. Then, the monster looks
• 12:22
  Speaker 1: down at itself. Then back up at you. Uh-oh. It
• 12:28
  Speaker 1: opens its mouth. Orange light appears deep inside its throat.
• 12:34
  Speaker 1: And with a.
• 12:37
  Speaker 1: A stream of molten lava shoots through the air. You
• 12:41
  Speaker 1: roll sideways... The lava misses you by centimeters. You feel
• 12:47
  Speaker 1: its heat even through your own flaming body. It hits
• 12:52
  Speaker 1: the ground behind you. The dirt instantly blackens. You circle
• 12:58
  Speaker 1: around the creature. Okay, fire monster, you say, only in
• 13:05
  Speaker 1: bird language. You blast another stream of flame at its
• 13:09
  Speaker 1: back and... nothing happens. You shoot downward again and... nothing.
• 13:18
  Speaker 1: The creature spins and throws another boulder. You blast it
• 13:23
  Speaker 1: apart with fire and pieces of molten stone rain down
• 13:27
  Speaker 1: around you. You're protecting the village. That's good, but you're
• 13:33
  Speaker 1: not actually stopping the anomaly. You fire another enormous blast
• 13:39
  Speaker 1: directly into its shoulder... and the creature doesn't even flinch.
• 13:45
  Speaker 1: In fact, you could swear that the lava inside it
• 13:49
  Speaker 1: looks brighter. Oh, come on. The monster slams both fists
• 13:56
  Speaker 1: into the ground, and with a boom, a wave travels
• 14:01
  Speaker 1: through the earth. The road cracks, stone spikes suddenly explode
• 14:08
  Speaker 1: upward beneath you, You flap hard to rise out of
• 14:12
  Speaker 1: the way. One spike barely misses your tail feathers. Another
• 14:18
  Speaker 1: erupts directly in front of you. You blast it with fire.
• 14:23
  Speaker 1: It melts just enough for you to smash straight through.
• 14:28
  Speaker 1: You rocket back into the open sky. The creature raises
• 14:33
  Speaker 1: both hands again and more rocks begin floating. You look
• 14:39
  Speaker 1: toward the village, a family crouched behind a broken wagon.
• 14:46
  Speaker 1: Three huge rocks hover directly above them. No, you dive
• 14:53
  Speaker 1: and the monster throws. The rocks fly, you flap once, twice,
• 14:59
  Speaker 1: then fold your wings completely. Your flaming body becomes, well,
• 15:06
  Speaker 1: a missile. The first rock comes towards you, and with
• 15:11
  Speaker 1: a whoosh, you melt straight through it. The second hits
• 15:16
  Speaker 1: you from the right, and you slam your wing into it,
• 15:20
  Speaker 1: cracking and melting the rock in two. The third is
• 15:26
  Speaker 1: already past you, heading for the family. You twist in midair,
• 15:31
  Speaker 1: fire explodes from your wings, you accelerate... and at the
• 15:36
  Speaker 1: last possible second, you swoop beneath the falling rock, grab
• 15:41
  Speaker 1: it with your enormous phoenix claws, and shoot it upward,
• 15:47
  Speaker 1: sending it flying over top of the family and, well,
• 15:52
  Speaker 1: unfortunately into a wooden house that doesn't do so well
• 15:56
  Speaker 1: when it crashes in. The family stares up at you.
• 16:02
  Speaker 1: One of the kids waves. That feels pretty good. Then
• 16:07
  Speaker 1: something hits you from behind. The world spins. You tumble
• 16:12
  Speaker 1: through the air. It must have been a rock. It
• 16:16
  Speaker 1: must have launched another one while you were distracted. You
• 16:20
  Speaker 1: flap wildly and manage to regain control before hitting the ground.
• 16:26
  Speaker 1: Your flaming wings spread wide again. The rock monster stands
• 16:32
  Speaker 1: below you. It pounds one fist against its chest. Boom, boom, boom.
• 16:41
  Speaker 1: Lava drips from its mouth. You stare down at it. Alright,
• 16:47
  Speaker 1: clearly the phoenix isn't working. The biomorpher responds almost as
• 16:53
  Speaker 1: soon as you think it. Your available forms appear inside
• 16:58
  Speaker 1: your vision. Human, phoenix, and... Mac and cheese. You stare
• 17:07
  Speaker 1: at the little picture. Really? Should you really fight a
• 17:13
  Speaker 1: three meter tall walking volcano with macaroni and cheese? But
• 17:21
  Speaker 1: then another boulder rises from the ground. You don't exactly
• 17:26
  Speaker 1: have a lot of choices. Mac and cheese it is.
• 17:31
  Speaker 1: You mentally select the form. The familiar tingling sensation races
• 17:36
  Speaker 1: through your body. Your flames disappear, your feathers soften, and
• 17:43
  Speaker 1: they become noodles. Hundreds and hundreds of noodles. Your phoenix
• 17:52
  Speaker 1: body collapses into a giant flying blob of macaroni and cheese,
• 17:59
  Speaker 1: which immediately stops flying.

  Speaker 2: Oh no.
• 18:02
  Speaker 1: Oh no. You fall and scream, only it comes out
• 18:08
  Speaker 1: mac and cheese. With a splat, you hit the road.

  Speaker 1: Your entire body explodes into hundreds of individual pieces of macaroni.
• 18:21
  Speaker 1: For half a second, you're scattered everywhere. Then something strange happens.
• 18:27
  Speaker 1: You feel every single piece. You think about standing up
• 18:32
  Speaker 1: and The noodles slide across the ground and pile themselves together,
• 18:39
  Speaker 1: reforming your body. And suddenly, you're a mac and cheese
• 18:45
  Speaker 1: person standing in the middle of the road. The rock
• 18:49
  Speaker 1: monster looks at you. You look at the rock monster.
• 18:54
  Speaker 1: Mac and cheese? The creature raises a boulder. Mac and cheese!

  Speaker 1: It throws. The boulder smashes directly into your chest, except, well,
• 19:06
  Speaker 1: your chest isn't there anymore. The noodles simply split apart,
• 19:12
  Speaker 1: and the boulder flies straight through the hole. Then the
• 19:16
  Speaker 1: macaroni reconnects. You look down at yourself. Huh. Or rather,
• 19:23
  Speaker 1: it of course comes out as mac and cheese. The
• 19:28
  Speaker 1: monster throws another rock, Your head separates from your shoulders,
• 19:33
  Speaker 1: and the boulder passes straight through. Your head drops back
• 19:37
  Speaker 1: into place. Another comes toward your legs. Your legs scatter
• 19:43
  Speaker 1: into dozens of noodles, and the rock passes harmlessly beneath you.
• 19:48
  Speaker 1: You reform again. Mac and cheese. Okay, this form might
• 19:56
  Speaker 1: not be strong, but it turns out that it's really,
• 20:00
  Speaker 1: really hard to hit. The rock monster hurls another boulder.
• 20:06
  Speaker 1: This one is huge. You don't even try to dodge
• 20:09
  Speaker 1: it normally. Your entire body explodes apart. Hundreds of macaroni
• 20:15
  Speaker 1: noodles scatter across the road. The boulder crashes through the
• 20:20
  Speaker 1: space where you were standing. Then, every piece of you
• 20:25
  Speaker 1: slides back together. Mac and cheese. You're starting to understand
• 20:30
  Speaker 1: why this form was so useful during your trial. It
• 20:35
  Speaker 1: isn't strong. It can't fly, though strangely the individual pieces
• 20:40
  Speaker 1: do sort of levitate on their own. And you're pretty
• 20:44
  Speaker 1: sure throwing macaroni at a giant rock monster isn't going
• 20:47
  Speaker 1: to accomplish, uh, really anything. But it is almost impossible
• 20:54
  Speaker 1: to hit. The monster swings an enormous stone fist at
• 20:58
  Speaker 1: you and you split in half, reforming behind it. The
• 21:03
  Speaker 1: creature turns, too slow... As you break apart again, slide
• 21:10
  Speaker 1: between its legs, and reform on the other side. That's
• 21:15
  Speaker 1: when you realize something. You're close. Really close to the
• 21:22
  Speaker 1: rock monster. Close enough to scan it. You raise your biomorfer.
• 21:30
  Speaker 1: The rock monster turns toward you. Orange light burns inside
• 21:35
  Speaker 1: its chest. Its mouth begins to glow. You hit the
• 21:41
  Speaker 1: scan button. A bright blue beam shoots out and races
• 21:46
  Speaker 1: across the creature from head to toe. Quantum information acquired.
• 21:53
  Speaker 1: A new image appears in your vision. A rock monster.
• 21:59
  Speaker 1: Without hesitation, you select it and the tingling begins. But
• 22:06
  Speaker 1: this transformation feels completely different. Your soft macaroni body hardens.
• 22:15
  Speaker 1: Your arms become heavy, dense, powerful. Stone begins forming around you.
• 22:24
  Speaker 1: Your fingers thicken into massive rocky claws. Your legs grow
• 22:29
  Speaker 1: larger and heavier until every step presses cracks into the ground.

  Speaker 4: Then.

  Speaker 1: Something burns inside your chest. Not painfully, but powerfully. A
• 22:44
  Speaker 1: deep orange glow appears between the rocks covering your body.

  Speaker 1: A molten core. Lava. You look down at your hands. Stone.
• 22:57
  Speaker 1: You clench one fist. Crack. And then... You feel something. Something...

  Speaker 1: inside the ground, or, well, maybe the ground itself. You
• 23:14
  Speaker 1: can feel the dirt under the road, the rocks beneath
• 23:18
  Speaker 1: the houses, the sand between the stones. Every pebble, every crack,
• 23:26
  Speaker 1: every piece of earth around you feels almost like another
• 23:31
  Speaker 1: part of your body. You lift one hand, A rock
• 23:36
  Speaker 1: beside you rises into the air. Your eyes widen. You
• 23:41
  Speaker 1: move your hand left, and the rock moves left. Right,
• 23:47
  Speaker 1: and the rock moves right. You grin. At least you
• 23:52
  Speaker 1: think you're grinning. Your new stone face doesn't move very much, honestly.
• 23:58
  Speaker 1: The other rock creature raises both arms. Six boulders tear
• 24:03
  Speaker 1: free from the ground. You raise yours. Six boulders rise
• 24:09
  Speaker 1: around you. The creature throws, and so do you. With
• 24:16
  Speaker 1: a gigantic series of booms, rocks smash into, well, smaller
• 24:22
  Speaker 1: rocks in midair. Stone explodes everywhere. The creature roars and
• 24:30
  Speaker 1: slams its foot into the ground. as a wave of
• 24:34
  Speaker 1: stone spikes races toward you. You stomp, and a wall
• 24:39
  Speaker 1: of rock erupts in front of you. The spikes crash
• 24:44
  Speaker 1: against it. You lower your shoulder and charge, just as
• 24:49
  Speaker 1: the other creature charges at you. With a boom, you
• 24:55
  Speaker 1: collide in the middle of the road. The ground shakes.
• 24:59
  Speaker 1: You grab each other's arms, and for a moment, Neither
• 25:03
  Speaker 1: of you moves. Then, orange light appears inside the creature's mouth. Lava.
• 25:12
  Speaker 1: You feel your own core respond. You open your mouth,
• 25:17
  Speaker 1: and both of you fire. Streams of molten lava collide
• 25:22
  Speaker 1: between you. Bright orange liquid splashes in the air. You
• 25:28
  Speaker 1: push harder. Your lava blast drives forward. and the creature stumbles.

  Speaker 1: You release one hand. The earth beneath its feet suddenly rises.
• 25:41
  Speaker 1: A huge slab of rock launches upward, and with a wham,
• 25:47
  Speaker 1: the creature's knocked backward. It crashes onto its back. You
• 25:54
  Speaker 1: immediately raise both hands. Two enormous boulders lift into the air.

  Speaker 1: You hold them there, ready. But the creature doesn't attack.
• 26:06
  Speaker 1: It looks up at you and then it says something.
• 26:10
  Speaker 1: A deep, grinding sort of sound. Except somehow, you understand it. Friend?
• 26:24
  Speaker 1: You lower the rocks slightly. What? What comes out of
• 26:29
  Speaker 1: your mouth sounds like rocks grinding together. Why, friend? The
• 26:38
  Speaker 1: creature slowly sits up. It points toward the broken houses,
• 26:44
  Speaker 1: then at the boulders, then at you. It speaks again,
• 26:49
  Speaker 1: and you understand every word, even though, again, it just
• 26:55
  Speaker 1: sounds like grinding rocks. Friends throw rocks. Friends knock friends down.

  Speaker 2: PLAY.
• 27:05
  Speaker 1: You stare at it. Then you look around the village.
• 27:10
  Speaker 1: Broken walls. Crushed fences. A huge hole through somebody's house.
• 27:17
  Speaker 1: Giant gaping craters all over the ground.

  Speaker 3: You were.
• 27:23
  Speaker 1: You pause. You were playing? The creature nods enthusiastically.

  Speaker 2: PLAY.
• 27:32
  Speaker 1: GOOD PLAY. Many friends. You cover your rock face with
• 27:38
  Speaker 1: one hand.
• 27:39
  Speaker 3: How?
• 27:42
  Speaker 1: The creature wasn't attacking the village. At least not on purpose.
• 27:47
  Speaker 1: It thought everyone was playing with it. You point toward
• 27:52
