- 0:00Speaker 1: From Hollywood to you.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Thank you for listening to us.
- 0:03Speaker 1: Ryan Air on Air with a Ryan Seacrest.
- 0:09Speaker 3: On a two point seven Kiss FM. So bring in
- 0:12Speaker 3: our here's our intern. Sofiere, she comes, no, Susany and Tanya.
- 0:16Speaker 3: When you think back to when you were studying, did
- 0:18Speaker 3: you procrastinate and cram all night or did you get
- 0:21Speaker 3: up early and slowly with some coffee or whatever you
- 0:25Speaker 3: were having a pop tart study for the test that day, Sisany.
- 0:29Speaker 4: I was a crammer one thousand percent when it came
- 0:32Speaker 4: to school work, where I wouldn't stay up all night
- 0:35Speaker 4: like I would you did. I would pull an all
- 0:37Speaker 4: nighter and and I don't even sometimes it would work,
- 0:39Speaker 4: and sometimes it wouldn't work, Like all right, Tani?
- 0:42Speaker 2: How about for you?
- 0:42Speaker 5: I was the opposite. I can't function past like a
- 0:45Speaker 5: certain time.
- 0:46Speaker 2: That's me. It doesn't mean any good.
- 0:48Speaker 5: Four I am to cram it in or even three
- 0:50Speaker 5: like I would rather wake up way early than stay
- 0:53Speaker 5: up late.
- 0:54Speaker 3: Me too, and better yet, I am best if I
- 0:57Speaker 3: take five things at a time over five days to
- 1:01Speaker 3: try and memorize.
- 1:02Speaker 2: Now that's not so practical when you're a.
- 1:04Speaker 3: Student as a as like when you get a real job,
- 1:06Speaker 3: you kind of have to make sure you're on it.
- 1:08Speaker 3: And that's what I did. Like remember studying the red
- 1:10Speaker 3: carpet question. Yeah, I'd have to start weeks out and
- 1:13Speaker 3: remember five.
- 1:14Speaker 1: At a time, correct way to do it. That's how
- 1:16Speaker 1: you should be studying.
- 1:18Speaker 2: But in school, I didn't feel that same load of response.
- 1:21Speaker 1: But it's different because that's your job.
- 1:22Speaker 4: It's fun for you, like and for me, like Halloween's fun.
- 1:25Speaker 4: Like I started planning my Halloween costume two months ago.
- 1:27Speaker 6: You know.
- 1:27Speaker 3: It's like that's different. And to do with the pressure
- 1:29Speaker 3: of a test or a job.
- 1:31Speaker 4: Still, it's the pressure of like what the look is
- 1:33Speaker 4: going to be or et cetera.
- 1:34Speaker 1: Like I'm saying, if it's it's not pressure pressure, that's
- 1:37Speaker 1: not pressure. But a scantron test exam is not fun.
- 1:42Speaker 3: No, that's that's pressure. Now, Sophia, what's the midterms that
- 1:45Speaker 3: you see riverside?
- 1:46Speaker 7: Now?
- 1:47Speaker 8: Yes, so we're having midterms last weekend this week?
- 1:50Speaker 2: Okay, and so are you? When is your next test?
- 1:53Speaker 8: My next midterm is tomorrow.
- 1:55Speaker 2: What's the test about?
- 1:56Speaker 8: It's my human reproduction class?
- 2:00Speaker 1: All right?
- 2:01Speaker 2: How can that be study?
- 2:03Speaker 1: Yeah, don't we know it?
- 2:04Speaker 2: All? We can take you off air and run it down.
- 2:07Speaker 1: Had you shoulders, knees, and toes?
- 2:09Speaker 8: Hopefully it's common sense everything in between.
- 2:13Speaker 2: But did you which is the key parts, isn't he? Now?
- 2:15Speaker 3: Did you study? Are you cramming? Are you how are
- 2:18Speaker 3: you preparing?
- 2:19Speaker 8: So I'm exactly like you and Tanya.
- 2:21Speaker 9: I love to wake up in the morning and study
- 2:24Speaker 9: to like the sunrise with my cup of coffee, because
- 2:26Speaker 9: i feel like once it hits ten thirty, I'm like
- 2:29Speaker 9: mentally checked out and I.
- 2:30Speaker 8: Just can't focus on.
- 2:33Speaker 2: Right. So are you ready? No, I'm not, but it's okay,
- 2:36Speaker 2: you'll do it the morning up.
- 2:38Speaker 8: Yes.
- 2:38Speaker 6: Again.
- 2:39Speaker 2: What about your roommates do they cram? They step all
- 2:41Speaker 2: night in cram.
- 2:42Speaker 9: So my roommates are the opposite. They stay up all
- 2:46Speaker 9: night and cram. And it was actually last week I
- 2:49Speaker 9: was waking up at five o'clock in the morning because
- 2:51Speaker 9: I'm like, I'm gonna study, let's do this early bird.
- 2:54Speaker 9: And I come outside and I see my roommate and
- 2:56Speaker 9: I'm like, oh my gosh, like good morning, Like what
- 2:58Speaker 9: are you doing up? Are you also gonna star studying?
- 3:01Speaker 9: And She's like, oh, I'm going to bed. I just
- 3:03Speaker 9: finished studying.
- 3:04Speaker 1: That's me I'll go to bed, get three hours.
- 3:06Speaker 2: Of sleep, and then that's depressing. I can't live like that.
- 3:09Speaker 2: That is depressing. I cannot. I think the thing is.
- 3:12Speaker 3: I mean to each his own, but to me, when
- 3:14Speaker 3: I woke up early and have my coffee, the caffeine
- 3:16Speaker 3: kicks in, you actually remember more. For me, I can
- 3:20Speaker 3: retain more information with caffeine.
- 3:21Speaker 4: But my issue is the risk of hitting snooze and
- 3:24Speaker 4: sleeping in and then that's it.
- 3:25Speaker 1: That was your chance and I have no backup plan.
- 3:28Speaker 3: Dude, we have red bull like packages of red Bull
- 3:31Speaker 3: ready to go on midterm week. Oh yeah, well listen,
- 3:35Speaker 3: tell us what you learned, because maybe there's something we
- 3:37Speaker 3: don't know. On a two point seven, it is kiss
- 3:43Speaker 3: all right, sisany are you you're moaning over there?
- 3:45Speaker 2: What are you? Are you in pain?
- 3:46Speaker 1: I am in pain and I'm not twenty anymore.
- 3:49Speaker 4: So maybe I shouldn't have been on a mechanical bull
- 3:52Speaker 4: a week ago.
- 3:53Speaker 2: Oh we've all made that mistake.
- 3:55Speaker 1: It is so dumb.
- 3:56Speaker 4: And I literally and not only did I write it once,
- 3:57Speaker 4: I wrote it like four times you get baked?
- 4:00Speaker 2: Did you get bucked fast.
- 4:02Speaker 1: One of the times?
- 4:02Speaker 4: Yes, but no, I pretty I held on which is
- 4:04Speaker 4: part of the problem.
- 4:05Speaker 2: What's the point.
- 4:10Speaker 1: It was that someone had it.
- 4:11Speaker 4: It was like like a Western themed party that we
- 4:15Speaker 4: had at one of our friend's house, and so she
- 4:16Speaker 4: had the mechanical bull in her backyard.
- 4:18Speaker 1: It was all set up.
- 4:18Speaker 4: It was really fun. But now I'm feeling the paint
- 4:22Speaker 4: and bruised. Like my inner thighs are black and.
- 4:24Speaker 1: Blue, and it's Yellowstone weak.
- 4:27Speaker 3: The cowboys on Yellowstone don't ride four times and they're.
- 4:30Speaker 2: Good at and the and the.
- 4:32Speaker 4: Day like after, like a couple days after, I literally
- 4:35Speaker 4: walked like like with like as if like I had
- 4:37Speaker 4: rode a bull.
- 4:39Speaker 3: Well, you should not be riding mechanical animals anymore.
- 4:43Speaker 4: Right, I feel like no, By the way, Michael's Bruce
- 4:46Speaker 4: too bruising.
- 4:47Speaker 2: I bruise easily. Need more something.
- 4:49Speaker 3: Yeah it's iron, Yeah, gotta get more iron. Look here,
- 4:53Speaker 3: I had to ride a horse last year. Why date?
- 4:57Speaker 3: See back to dating a horse. I'm on a horse.
- 5:01Speaker 1: Did you not enjoy it? Like in the moment when
- 5:04Speaker 1: you're on the horse?
- 5:06Speaker 2: Goo gook was exactly what I was feeling. I was
- 5:10Speaker 2: bruised for a long time.
- 5:11Speaker 3: I was I was not doing I was not doing
- 5:13Speaker 3: some things for a while after.
- 5:16Speaker 1: Oh yeah, it's crazy.
- 5:18Speaker 2: My list of things shortened.
- 5:22Speaker 1: Do you work on those muscles?
- 5:24Speaker 2: Now? What were we talking about? So are you going
- 5:27Speaker 2: to do? I see it?
- 5:28Speaker 1: What do you have to do surviving at this point?
- 5:31Speaker 3: All right, Well, what's our lesson? Watch out for automatic animals?
- 5:35Speaker 3: Sure heading zoos are safe at the farmer's market. Kiss
- 5:38Speaker 3: Kiss Selene is in Long Beach.
- 5:41Speaker 2: Selene, thanks for calling.
- 5:42Speaker 3: I'm going to stop what we're about to do and
- 5:44Speaker 3: go live with you about your issue.
- 5:46Speaker 2: It's a relationship situation. So you have a dude friend
- 5:50Speaker 2: I do?
- 5:51Speaker 7: I do?
- 5:52Speaker 2: And what's been going on with this guy friend?
- 5:55Speaker 10: So he is a friend of mine that I've had
- 5:58Speaker 10: for quite a while. We used to hang out a
- 6:01Speaker 10: lot more. But anyway, he has been poking me on Facebook.
- 6:10Speaker 10: I thought it was a mistake at first, like, like,
- 6:13Speaker 10: who does that? It's like, are we still poking people
- 6:15Speaker 10: on Facebook?
- 6:16Speaker 1: I didn't realize question.
- 6:20Speaker 10: But apparently this guy is because it happened three more
- 6:24Speaker 10: times and so like, clearly he's been doing it intentionally.
- 6:29Speaker 10: But the problem is that he has a girlfriend of
- 6:31Speaker 10: three years. Like I said, we used to hang out
- 6:34Speaker 10: a lot more. We never kissed or anything. It was
- 6:36Speaker 10: never like that.
- 6:38Speaker 3: Oh, hang out to me means you hung out, hang out?
- 6:43Speaker 3: Did you hang out?
- 6:43Speaker 10: I mean it was it was never like that. My
- 6:47Speaker 10: friends say that he used to have feelings for me,
- 6:51Speaker 10: and maybe he still does.
- 6:54Speaker 2: Okay, so here's the thing.
- 6:55Speaker 10: So that's my question.
- 6:56Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 6:56Speaker 10: I don't know how to handle this, like I don't.
- 6:59Speaker 10: I don't want to tell his girlfriends. I like her
- 7:01Speaker 10: a lot, and I don't want to blow it all up.
- 7:03Speaker 2: Well, you got to tell.
- 7:06Speaker 3: I mean, you can let it go and see what
- 7:09Speaker 3: happens and roll the dice, or you can tell her.
- 7:11Speaker 3: You also are misusing the term hangout.
- 7:16Speaker 11: Yeah, I agree.
- 7:19Speaker 10: Well, okay, then sure, but we never did anything.
- 7:23Speaker 6: It was never like that.
- 7:24Speaker 1: You guys, we're friends, did you? You never were romantic ever?
- 7:28Speaker 1: Not once?
- 7:28Speaker 10: No, I thought you you could hang out as friends.
- 7:32Speaker 2: But whatever.
- 7:33Speaker 3: No, I just want to clear this up for a fight,
- 7:35Speaker 3: include myself. Yeah you're hanging out. It's forbidden to use
- 7:39Speaker 3: hanging out if you're just friends.
- 7:41Speaker 11: Yeah, you're hanging out.
- 7:42Speaker 4: Can you still hang out as a group like with him,
- 7:44Speaker 4: him and his girlfriend?
- 7:47Speaker 10: No, not really, not so much anymore. That's why this
- 7:51Speaker 10: is like really random.
- 7:52Speaker 2: Maybe just blow him off, don't respond, Let's see what happens.
- 7:56Speaker 10: He is he is kind of known as this guy
- 7:59Speaker 10: that's like afraid of commitment. So I'm wondering if he's
- 8:02Speaker 10: like trying to say, you know, he's like the things
- 8:05Speaker 10: are getting serious with his girlfriend and he's freaking out
- 8:07Speaker 10: and he's gonna self sabotage himself.
- 8:10Speaker 4: Can you like mute him or block him or just
- 8:12Speaker 4: like that's a step one, step one, Just get know
- 8:14Speaker 4: what I mean, Get out of the pokes.
- 8:18Speaker 1: Make it so that he can't poke you anymore.
- 8:19Speaker 2: I poked back. No, No, don't stoke it.
- 8:23Speaker 11: Poke poke poke poke.
- 8:25Speaker 6: No.
- 8:25Speaker 4: That sounds like you're flirting, but I'm not, but that
- 8:29Speaker 4: it doesn't look that way.
- 8:32Speaker 2: Anyways. So do you have any idea are you gonna
- 8:36Speaker 2: do next?
- 8:36Speaker 9: I haven't.
- 8:37Speaker 10: I haven't responded to it yet.
- 8:39Speaker 2: Let it go, Let it go, Let it go. You
- 8:41Speaker 2: can go in phases.
- 8:42Speaker 10: You haven't even been on Facebook in years.
- 8:48Speaker 3: Good luck, Selene. I hope it works out, Okay, no
- 8:50Speaker 3: one's feelings get hurt. One two point seven kiss all right, sisty,
- 8:55Speaker 3: let's do this. I got a quote of the day
- 8:57Speaker 3: for siciny. This is a Disneyland tip for anybody's got
- 9:00Speaker 3: short kids.
- 9:01Speaker 4: Yes, and I have short kids that are still not
- 9:03Speaker 4: tall enough to ride in Space kid telling us about
- 9:07Speaker 4: this exactly, and this would have been great for you
- 9:10Speaker 4: to know. So I saw this on TikTok the other
- 9:12Speaker 4: day and I was like, Wow, this is genius if
- 9:14Speaker 4: it really happens. Actually, I have not proven this to
- 9:16Speaker 4: be right, so maybe someone can conform it.
- 9:19Speaker 11: Your teething is so cute, and she let me see
- 9:22Speaker 11: the tea. It's like, oh, it's.
- 9:26Speaker 5: All metal, spaces, headphones, drinking out of a straw.
- 9:32Speaker 4: So you go to the ride, let's say it's matter Horn,
- 9:34Speaker 4: and you go with your kid, and they're like, sorry,
- 9:36Speaker 4: so too short to ride. So they'll give you a
- 9:38Speaker 4: little card that says come back when you're tall enough.
- 9:41Speaker 1: And then you can collect all these cards.
- 9:43Speaker 4: And so the next time you're at Disneyland with your
- 9:45Speaker 4: son or daughter and they're tall enough, they can skip
- 9:47Speaker 4: the line.
- 9:48Speaker 2: I love that.
- 9:48Speaker 3: I know the mouse was taking ahead on that because
- 9:51Speaker 3: they're going to eventually get that growth spurt exactly.
- 9:54Speaker 2: Cash in on your growth spurt.
- 9:56Speaker 4: So if you're kind of like right at that age,
- 9:57Speaker 4: you right at that height right now, I would go
- 9:59Speaker 4: and collect from all these rides, so you can't ride yet?
- 10:01Speaker 2: Yes? Has that been going on forever?
- 10:04Speaker 1: I don't know, And I also haven't tried it, so
- 10:05Speaker 1: I'm like, is this true?
- 10:06Speaker 2: Like nanapoline, we didn't know that when you took it.
- 10:09Speaker 1: We didn't know that.
- 10:10Speaker 5: Are we also going to talk about the four beverages
- 10:12Speaker 5: that you just sipped from?
- 10:13Speaker 11: Because what in the world is going on over there?
- 10:15Speaker 3: I have pathwater a little yes, what is that mineral water?
- 10:20Speaker 11: Uh huh?
- 10:20Speaker 2: I have my coffee it's actually.
- 10:22Speaker 11: Coffee, okay, and then a tea and it.
- 10:24Speaker 2: Teas here God, and I got my vitamins when it's time.
- 10:30Speaker 1: Yeah, there you go.
- 10:31Speaker 3: Today's quote it's not your job to convince someone your
- 10:34Speaker 3: worth choosing people. You do not have to be the
- 10:38Speaker 3: chief marketing officer of you such a point seven It's
- 10:41Speaker 3: kiss FM.
- 10:42Speaker 2: Now.
- 10:42Speaker 3: When I have a grocery store, I quite like talking
- 10:45Speaker 3: to people, are asking people questions. I do ask for
- 10:48Speaker 3: help a lot with the aisle. I want to be efficient.
- 10:50Speaker 3: I want to get in and ounce. If it's a
- 10:51Speaker 3: store I don't go to all the time, then I
- 10:53Speaker 3: will ask where is protein powder?
- 10:56Speaker 2: Where are souls is? Where are the chips, I like,
- 11:02Speaker 2: where are those?
- 11:03Speaker 7: Ay?
- 11:03Speaker 3: It helps with consolidating the time spent in the store.
- 11:06Speaker 3: So is that the poultry section getting ground turkey? If
- 11:10Speaker 3: you want lean round turkey, do you go ninety three
- 11:13Speaker 3: or ninety nine percent?
- 11:14Speaker 1: I don't know the difference between that.
- 11:15Speaker 3: To be ninety three, I did ninety nine. I should
- 11:19Speaker 3: have gone ninety three more flavors.
- 11:20Speaker 1: What's the difference? Okay, it's a more fla p.
- 11:22Speaker 2: Well, yeah, ninety more fat? God, ninety nine.
- 11:27Speaker 1: That point you're talking about was and it tastes so
- 11:30Speaker 1: much better.
- 11:31Speaker 2: It does really.
- 11:32Speaker 3: So Anyway, I'm there and this woman walks up to
- 11:34Speaker 3: me as I'm staring at down trying to figure out
- 11:36Speaker 3: do I go ninety three in my head?
- 11:37Speaker 2: Or do I go ninety nine in mine?
- 11:38Speaker 1: I like someone help?
- 11:40Speaker 2: And she says to me, what do you think I
- 11:42Speaker 2: should do? Oh, you're in a quandary as well. What's what?
- 11:45Speaker 2: What can I help with?
- 11:46Speaker 3: She says, Uh, should I get the ground turkey one
- 11:50Speaker 3: of them for six ninety nine or the family pack
- 11:52Speaker 3: at fifteen ninety nine? I said, well, hungry are you?
- 11:55Speaker 3: And do you have a family? Now I'm asking all
- 11:57Speaker 3: kinds of questions that are personal because she asked me
- 11:59Speaker 3: about the family pack, and I thought, it depends on
- 12:02Speaker 3: what your mood is and how many kids do you have?
- 12:04Speaker 2: Am I being? Am I being too curious?
- 12:06Speaker 4: No, she's the one that opened up the floodgates about
- 12:09Speaker 4: like should I do single or family thole?
- 12:11Speaker 3: She was single, so I thought, this is a better
- 12:14Speaker 3: deal to get the family pack and then freeze.
- 12:16Speaker 11: It right, save it, eat it all week.
- 12:19Speaker 3: So I went with the single pack at six ninety nine.
- 12:21Speaker 3: She went to family pack because I freezing stuff. I
- 12:24Speaker 3: want to put that stuff in a panic cook in
- 12:25Speaker 3: two seconds. Yeah, I freeze it and forget about it
- 12:28Speaker 3: and never go back to it.
- 12:29Speaker 2: It's all frosty, dusty, frosty, frozen and looks like it.
- 12:32Speaker 1: And then I was like, how old it is? We
- 12:33Speaker 1: went right the day h But then I.
- 12:36Speaker 3: Walked away thinking, I actually appreciate the fact that she
- 12:38Speaker 3: felt comfortable enough to ask me about the value family
- 12:40Speaker 3: pack versus the single pack. There's one of those nice
- 12:43Speaker 3: little moments.
- 12:43Speaker 1: Are you flirting with you and you just like weren't
- 12:46Speaker 1: even paying attention?
- 12:48Speaker 11: Sounds like a flirt.
- 12:50Speaker 2: No, I don't think she was flirting with me.
- 12:53Speaker 1: She probably was you're just oblivious.
- 12:56Speaker 4: Systey's right, I'm going back, Yeah, go search for her.
- 13:02Speaker 11: She was like, should I buy the single?
- 13:04Speaker 2: Yeah? For us? Yes?
- 13:06Speaker 1: The lines on that this for us?
- 13:10Speaker 3: You're saying, is I missed this whole message, which is
- 13:13Speaker 3: should I buy this and eat alone or bring you
- 13:15Speaker 3: over for the family path?
- 13:16Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 13:17Speaker 3: Maybe?
- 13:17Speaker 1: And now I'm thinking how many times have you done this?
- 13:20Speaker 1: Like a lot.
- 13:21Speaker 4: I'm sure it must have been years of missed opportunities.
- 13:25Speaker 4: I'm sure you need to hang out with us more
- 13:27Speaker 4: often so we can like really like be like, hey,
- 13:29Speaker 4: it's happening.
- 13:30Speaker 2: Do you want to go to the store later?
- 13:31Speaker 1: Anything?
- 13:31Speaker 2: Yeah? Down, I'm going to get the ninety three percent
- 13:33Speaker 2: this time?
- 13:34Speaker 11: Good?
- 13:34Speaker 3: Yeah, tired of ninety nine so boring? All right, Well,
- 13:37Speaker 3: thank you for this life lesson. This is why I
- 13:39Speaker 3: love coming to work. I keep my journal of life
- 13:41Speaker 3: lessons from YouTube.
- 13:43Speaker 1: Murmurs, so wise.
- 13:46Speaker 3: Las number one at music station It is Kiss FM.
- 13:50Speaker 3: Now we have a Sophia is an intern at you
- 13:53Speaker 3: see Riverside.
- 13:54Speaker 2: She goes to school. She did her sophomore June, junior year,
- 13:57Speaker 2: junior year, junior year, so she got a little college wisdom.
- 14:01Speaker 3: Now and you keep getting tickets from the parking police
- 14:06Speaker 3: there on campus.
- 14:07Speaker 9: Yeah, so I feel like our parking enforcement on campus
- 14:10Speaker 9: they kind of just scout you out and like the
- 14:13Speaker 9: second you leave your car, that's when they hit you
- 14:15Speaker 9: with a parking ticket.
- 14:16Speaker 2: Oh you mean they're watching, They're like running a trap.
- 14:19Speaker 8: Yes.
- 14:20Speaker 2: How much is the ticket?
- 14:22Speaker 9: It can range from like fifty to five hundred, speaking
- 14:26Speaker 9: from experience, so you never really know what you're going
- 14:28Speaker 9: to get.
- 14:29Speaker 2: What are these two?
- 14:30Speaker 9: What do they The fifty dollars, I believe is just
- 14:33Speaker 9: like parking in like the red zone or something, or
- 14:36Speaker 9: where you're not supposed to be parked. And then I
- 14:39Speaker 9: actually am dealing with a five hundred dollars ticket because
- 14:42Speaker 9: I parked in a parking lot on campus overnight and I.
- 14:46Speaker 3: Came back on wait a minute, hold, why did you
- 14:49Speaker 3: leave your car there over there?
- 14:50Speaker 8: I was staying at a friend's apartment on campus.
- 14:53Speaker 2: And it was it just lost you. You forgot that
- 14:56Speaker 2: your car was there?
- 14:57Speaker 9: I did, Yeah, well I parked there because she was like, oh,
- 14:59Speaker 9: just in this parking lot.
- 15:01Speaker 8: It'll never checked. It's overnight.
- 15:04Speaker 3: You never trust them, he says, it'll be fine. You
- 15:07Speaker 3: cannot trust a friend that to get you to come
- 15:10Speaker 3: over there, like, it'll be fine, don't worry about it.
- 15:11Speaker 1: Are they never trying to pay for at least half
- 15:13Speaker 1: of it?
- 15:14Speaker 8: No?
- 15:15Speaker 2: I don't think they should.
- 15:17Speaker 1: Really, that's interesting.
- 15:18Speaker 4: If I told somebody still, if I convinced her and
- 15:22Speaker 4: said it's fine, park there, I would feel bad.
- 15:24Speaker 1: I'd be like, hey, I'll at least pay for half
- 15:25Speaker 1: of it.
- 15:26Speaker 2: Don't you got to use your own street smarts.
- 15:28Speaker 4: I can't believe you wouldn't offer to pay for half
- 15:30Speaker 4: of it, at least me you.
- 15:32Speaker 2: I would. But she shouldn't have her friend do it.
- 15:34Speaker 2: They're in college park.
- 15:37Speaker 8: I can't pay for it.
- 15:38Speaker 3: Well, yeah, we need I think you, since you've got
- 15:41Speaker 3: this great advice, should step up.
- 15:43Speaker 1: Absolutely. What do you need?
- 15:45Speaker 2: She wants you to pay for the tickets?
- 15:46Speaker 1: Oh, I can't afford that.
- 15:48Speaker 2: She needs a five hundred bucks.
- 15:49Speaker 1: Don't have that?
- 15:50Speaker 11: Sorry, had dollars for a parking ticket?
- 15:52Speaker 2: Is college like in a college?
- 15:55Speaker 1: Yeah, circumference, It's crazy.
- 15:58Speaker 9: I feel like our parking enforcement they make more money
- 16:01Speaker 9: off those tickets than they do from tuition.
- 16:03Speaker 4: It's a thing, though. It's ever when I went in
- 16:04Speaker 4: to Sandego State, it was the same thing. My car
- 16:06Speaker 4: would get towed. I remember one time I parked in
- 16:08Speaker 4: in like Neares seven eleven. I wasn't and they'll put
- 16:11Speaker 4: that it was like I would like laying on the
- 16:13Speaker 4: hood of my car like protesting, like don't.
- 16:15Speaker 1: Take it please.
- 16:17Speaker 2: That seems dangerous.
- 16:18Speaker 6: I know it was.
- 16:19Speaker 1: It caused a whole scene.
- 16:20Speaker 3: There's got to be ay sofia to get rid of
- 16:22Speaker 3: the tickets and make them go away some other way.
- 16:23Speaker 2: Have you checked that out?
- 16:24Speaker 9: Yes, so thankfully, especially during like this time in the fall.
- 16:28Speaker 9: They actually do blood donations and they'll get rid of
- 16:31Speaker 9: like one parking ticket.
- 16:32Speaker 2: That you have. So maybe tell me you'll donate an organ.
- 16:38Speaker 1: And donate blood for them to get rid of your
- 16:41Speaker 1: parking ticket.
- 16:42Speaker 2: That's a good trade. It's actually a smart trade.
- 16:44Speaker 8: It's so smart.
- 16:44Speaker 9: I went last week and I actually donated blood, and
- 16:47Speaker 9: it was great because they're like, oh, which parking ticket
- 16:49Speaker 9: do you want taken off? They couldn't do my five
- 16:51Speaker 9: hundred dollars one unfortunately, but I got one of them
- 16:54Speaker 9: knocked out, so that's good.
- 16:56Speaker 3: You got to pursue other routes. When you get a
- 16:58Speaker 3: five hundred oar ticket that has a happy ending, that
- 17:02Speaker 3: story has a good ending. Would you donate. You should
- 17:06Speaker 3: donate blood. Can you do it? Like if you can
- 17:07Speaker 3: do if you cannot pass out from me, you.
- 17:09Speaker 1: Should do it. I can't even get the bag half filled, you.
- 17:13Speaker 2: Mean without passing out? Or you just don't have any
- 17:15Speaker 2: blood in you?
- 17:15Speaker 1: No, like my blood doesn't come out.
- 17:17Speaker 11: Yeah, I think you have to fill a whole bag
- 17:19Speaker 11: in order.
- 17:20Speaker 4: And then when I was having the twins, they I
- 17:23Speaker 4: was an emic. They told me I was an emock.
- 17:24Speaker 4: Oh wow, So I can't like.
- 17:27Speaker 3: Should but anybody can. It's a good thing to do. Ye,
- 17:30Speaker 3: y'all should think about what do you do with your
- 17:32Speaker 3: organ at the end?
- 17:33Speaker 2: Donate?
- 17:34Speaker 1: That's true, honey.
- 17:36Speaker 2: Why the look.
- 17:39Speaker 11: Because it just makes me sad.
- 17:42Speaker 2: But you're helping save a life. Yes, I know, so
- 17:45Speaker 2: you should be happy. Yeah, let's come back. Thank you
- 17:47Speaker 2: for that.
- 17:49Speaker 3: Why don't two point seven kids? Im, it's time for
- 17:52Speaker 3: Ryan's roses. Jasmine is on the phone, So Jasmine, I
- 17:56Speaker 3: want to jump into it fast.
- 17:57Speaker 2: People are on the move. They want to hear what's happening.
- 18:00Speaker 3: So your husband was at Target buying baby supplies and
- 18:03Speaker 3: a friend saw him. Yeah okay, and that friend assumed
- 18:08Speaker 3: you guys were having a baby.
- 18:09Speaker 2: I'm guessing.
- 18:11Speaker 12: Yeah, so okay, So my friend Leah were actually very close,
- 18:15Speaker 12: and she said that she was a target. She walked
- 18:18Speaker 12: by the baby aisle and my husband was putting stuff
- 18:21Speaker 12: in his cart. So she approached him and was like,
- 18:25Speaker 12: does this mean what I think it means? And she
- 18:29Speaker 12: says that he just got super flustered and just like
- 18:33Speaker 12: muttered something like yes, yes, happy time and left. So,
- 18:38Speaker 12: I mean she called me and told me what happened,
- 18:41Speaker 12: and when I got home, I I asked my husband
- 18:46Speaker 12: and he said, I said, Leah saw you buying baby supplies.
- 18:49Speaker 12: She thought I was pregnant. And he says, like, this
- 18:53Speaker 12: woman that he works with is young and single and pregnant,
- 18:56Speaker 12: so they were all just pitching in to buy baby supplies.
- 19:01Speaker 2: Hey, Sophie asked.
- 19:02Speaker 3: This question in your reproductive class about appropriate or not
- 19:06Speaker 3: because this is not.
- 19:09Speaker 2: Appropriate?
- 19:10Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, I didn't think so.
- 19:13Speaker 3: I mean, I mean, for me, it's like, how does
- 19:16Speaker 3: he have such a close intimate relationship that she goes
- 19:20Speaker 3: to him for this.
- 19:22Speaker 11: Well and also chipping in?
- 19:23Speaker 5: Okay, sure everybody chip in, but have a female coworker
- 19:27Speaker 5: go by?
- 19:28Speaker 1: Why why can't a guy go and buy diapers?
- 19:30Speaker 3: No is that a guy is the guy you work with, Yeah,
- 19:33Speaker 3: and he's he's got a wife, but.
- 19:34Speaker 4: Maybe everybody's was gonna go and buy diapers, and so
- 19:37Speaker 4: he's just like he's doing his Target run and he's like, oh, yeah,
- 19:39Speaker 4: I gotta get diapers.
- 19:41Speaker 2: For Sophia Jasmine.
- 19:42Speaker 3: If I'm you, I'm here in the same moment calling us, Yeah, same,
- 19:46Speaker 3: So what seeks us?
- 19:47Speaker 2: That's it? And then he just said don't worry about it.
- 19:52Speaker 12: Yeah. I mean, like I confronted him and then like
- 19:55Speaker 12: he but why wouldn't you tell Leo that, you know,
- 19:58Speaker 12: like when I confronted him and you he's buying it
- 20:00Speaker 12: for a coworker. I just feel like if that were
- 20:03Speaker 12: the true story, like he would have just told Leah that,
- 20:07Speaker 12: he wouldn't have just said, oh yeah, a happy time.
- 20:10Speaker 2: He is your friend.
- 20:11Speaker 3: Who's the woman at work that's having a baby, that's
- 20:14Speaker 3: single these buying supplies for.
- 20:17Speaker 12: I don't know, I've never her name, heard of her?
- 20:20Speaker 1: No, And why does your brain go to cheating?
- 20:24Speaker 12: I mean I hate to think it, but I just
- 20:27Speaker 12: don't see any other options. Like he's just not the
- 20:30Speaker 12: type to go to Target and pick something out, Like
- 20:33Speaker 12: I could see him giving a coworker money, you know,
- 20:36Speaker 12: something like that. But he never he never goes to Target,
- 20:39Speaker 12: he never goes to the grocery store anywhere.
- 20:42Speaker 2: We're gonna call him next. Ryan's Roses a kid. It's
- 20:44Speaker 2: time for Ryan's Roses to call. So we met Jasmine.
- 20:48Speaker 3: Her friend Leah is at Target and sees her husband,
- 20:50Speaker 3: jazz AND's husband buying baby supplies. So Leea' is like,
- 20:53Speaker 3: oh my gosh, you guys having a baby. And she's like, no,
- 20:56Speaker 3: why is your husband buying baby supplies? And she goes
- 21:00Speaker 3: to him and he says, Oh, it's this single co worker.
- 21:03Speaker 3: She's pregnant and we're all pitching in to help her
- 21:05Speaker 3: get supplies. And I just think that that sounds like
- 21:08Speaker 3: an excuse. Let me get Jasmine up. We're gonna call
- 21:10Speaker 3: her husband now and see what we can find out.
- 21:12Speaker 3: We don't know the co worker's name. Choes to know
- 21:14Speaker 3: who this woman is having the baby at work, Jasmine,
- 21:17Speaker 3: I need you to say Ryan, you have my permission
- 21:19Speaker 3: to call, and then your husband's name.
- 21:20Speaker 12: Go ahead, Ryan, you have my permission to call.
- 21:25Speaker 2: All right, We're gonna do that now, be very quiet.
- 21:27Speaker 3: We want to find out who he is thinking about
- 21:30Speaker 3: now is he buying baby stuff for this coworker and
- 21:34Speaker 3: about to send her red roses?
- 21:36Speaker 2: We have a problem. We have a problem. If that's
- 21:39Speaker 2: the case, I.
- 21:39Speaker 11: Know, I wish we knew her name.
- 21:41Speaker 3: We don't know. So here we go, Jasmine, be super
- 21:45Speaker 3: quiet and good luck.
- 21:48Speaker 6: Thank you.
- 22:00Speaker 7: Hello.

- 23:00Speaker 7: So do they have to be roses?
- 23:01Speaker 1: Is that you want to change the flower?
- 23:05Speaker 12: Yeah?
- 23:05Speaker 7: I mean nothing too romantic if that's if they're really.
- 23:09Speaker 4: Free, they are free, and I could change the flower.
- 23:12Speaker 4: I could do a sunflower.
- 23:15Speaker 7: Yeah, I mean that that'd be good. That too romantic,
- 23:18Speaker 7: just like a.
- 23:18Speaker 4: Nice bouquet of all sunflowers. That's cute, okay. And then
- 23:23Speaker 4: what's their name?
- 23:23Speaker 7: That's actually good? Her name or my name?
- 23:27Speaker 1: Their name?
- 23:29Speaker 7: Their name, well, that's her if I would get that. Yeah,
- 23:31Speaker 7: So her name is Elena?
- 23:34Speaker 1: Elena? And what would you like to put on the card?
- 23:39Speaker 7: Hm hmm give me okay, So yeah, can you put
- 23:44Speaker 7: You've been on my mind? I hope these help in
- 23:47Speaker 7: some small way.
- 23:48Speaker 1: Okay, you've been on my mind. I hope these help
- 23:50Speaker 1: in some small way.
- 23:51Speaker 3: Carlos, it is Ryan Seacrest. Your voice is on the
- 23:54Speaker 3: radio in real time now. I've sisting telling you with
- 23:57Speaker 3: me and your wife Jasmine on the phone. Why has
- 24:01Speaker 3: Elena been on your mind? Just to answer that quickly.
- 24:05Speaker 7: Uh, okay, hold on, I'm on the radio.
- 24:09Speaker 3: That is correct. Why has Elena been on your mind?
- 24:11Speaker 3: Who is Elena? Is she your coworker?
- 24:14Speaker 7: Yeah, she's just a woman that I work with.
- 24:16Speaker 2: Okay, And why is she on your mind?
- 24:20Speaker 7: Well, she's on my mind because she she's been going
- 24:23Speaker 7: through a lot lately, and we're all trying to, you know,
- 24:26Speaker 7: just to help her out.
- 24:27Speaker 3: Are you in any way responsible with what she's going
- 24:29Speaker 3: through a lot lately?
- 24:33Speaker 2: Uh? No, are you sure? Are you clear on that?
- 24:38Speaker 7: Yeah, she's just, you know, been going through a lot.
- 24:41Speaker 7: What's hold on? What's going on?
- 24:43Speaker 6: Right?
- 24:43Speaker 3: I'm going to tell you Jasmine, your wife, who's on
- 24:45Speaker 3: the phone. She reached out to us and said she
- 24:48Speaker 3: thinks it's very curious that you were buying baby supplies
- 24:52Speaker 3: and not telling your wife about it for someone at
- 24:54Speaker 3: work who is single and pregnant.
- 24:56Speaker 2: Now, her friend Leah saw you. Leah saw you.
- 24:59Speaker 3: She was at the same target, and she called Jasmine
- 25:01Speaker 3: is like, oh my gosh, you guys have a baby
- 25:02Speaker 3: and she's like, no, we're not. And now she starts
- 25:05Speaker 3: spiraling because it doesn't add up what is going on
- 25:08Speaker 3: with you and the woman at work.
- 25:12Speaker 12: It's trying to be honest. What is going on with
- 25:14Speaker 12: you and Elena?
- 25:16Speaker 7: No? Nothing, it's absolutely nothing. There is nothing romantic going
- 25:21Speaker 7: on between us at all. That's what you're implying.
- 25:23Speaker 12: I have to ask, is it your baby?
- 25:29Speaker 7: Okay, listen, okay, just we should I mean, I think, Jess,
- 25:34Speaker 7: we probably should take this off the air.
- 25:36Speaker 4: Why if there's nothing going on? My god, you just
- 25:40Speaker 4: say no if it's.
- 25:41Speaker 7: Not, Look, it's just not. I just don't want to
- 25:45Speaker 7: do this on the on the radio, like this is
- 25:46Speaker 7: a private conversation between them.
- 25:49Speaker 10: But't it with your baby?
- 25:53Speaker 1: Just answer it?
- 25:54Speaker 11: That is the answer.
- 25:56Speaker 3: Well, we have the answer, Carlos. Your silence tells us everything.
- 26:01Speaker 7: I think so, I think.
- 26:02Speaker 2: So why are you lying to your wife? Why are
- 26:05Speaker 2: you not what is going on? You do think so?
- 26:07Speaker 2: You have been having an affair with the Landing? You
- 26:08Speaker 2: think she's pregnant?
- 26:10Speaker 7: No, look, look, okay, to be honest, it was a
- 26:13Speaker 7: one time thing, right, it was. It was stupid, like
- 26:16Speaker 7: it wasn't.
- 26:17Speaker 2: It Okay, Look Carlos, sorry, sorry, no one cares.
- 26:22Speaker 7: It was a mistake.
- 26:23Speaker 2: It was just one Carlos. It's one night. It's eighteen years,
- 26:28Speaker 2: eighteen years.
- 26:29Speaker 1: This is not a mistake.
- 26:31Speaker 7: This is this is why. Look it wasn't This is not.
- 26:35Speaker 2: An affair, Carlos.
- 26:37Speaker 3: We're gonna let you go. Jasmine. You have all the
- 26:39Speaker 3: information you need. I know it's heartbreaking news and it
- 26:44Speaker 3: is the truth. You got there. Good luck to you, Jasmine.
- 26:48Speaker 2: I knew it. I knew it. I could tell that
- 26:51Speaker 2: this was what was going on.
- 26:54Speaker 1: Man, I was holding out hope.
- 26:55Speaker 5: Yeah, when he was saying I don't want romantic flowers,
- 26:58Speaker 5: I was like, oh, maybe.
- 27:01Speaker 2: That's Ryan's roses. Kid on Air with Ryan Seacrest, let's
- 27:09Speaker 2: have fun.
- 27:11Speaker 3: Now, when you are growing up and you're going through this, now,
- 27:15Speaker 3: a lot of you got these rules that like some
- 27:17Speaker 3: are fine. Somebody really this is a rule, mom? Like,
- 27:21Speaker 3: for example, no turning on the lights during thunderstorms. Why
- 27:24Speaker 3: why is that a rule, mom?
- 27:26Speaker 4: Or what that has to do with like the electricity,
- 27:28Speaker 4: and like if the house gets struck by.
- 27:30Speaker 2: Lightning or something, I'm scared in the thunderstorm, I need
- 27:32Speaker 2: the light.
- 27:34Speaker 1: Yeah, how about this one.
- 27:36Speaker 3: Now, I'm just giving you examples, and now I want
- 27:38Speaker 3: to hear what yours would be a weird rule that
- 27:40Speaker 3: makes no sense because as an adult, I think it's okay,
- 27:42Speaker 3: to have less rules, you got to stop being so
- 27:45Speaker 3: hard on yourself to those of you who are hard
- 27:46Speaker 3: on yourself, and stop being so rigid to those of
- 27:48Speaker 3: you who are rigid on yourself. But growing up, it's
- 27:50Speaker 3: all rules, all rules, rule rule this like fun fun?
- 27:55Speaker 2: You can only have fun once a week. That's it.
- 27:58Speaker 2: Once a week rule for fun.
- 28:01Speaker 1: That's weird.
- 28:03Speaker 2: Okay, don't say that.
- 28:04Speaker 1: Then why can y'all have fun every day?
- 28:07Speaker 2: Because I was supposed to study, do you homework and go
- 28:08Speaker 2: to football practice?
- 28:11Speaker 1: Oh, like a party? Like your mom didn't want to
- 28:12Speaker 1: go out to like a party?
- 28:14Speaker 3: Well, it was just like Friday's fun. Now we gotta
- 28:16Speaker 3: get serious, get to work. I see all right, what's
- 28:19Speaker 3: the weird one that you grow up with?
- 28:20Speaker 6: Its?
- 28:20Speaker 2: Isn't he very weird?
- 28:21Speaker 4: When I would get home from cheer practice, my mom
- 28:23Speaker 4: wouldn't let me take off my socks until my body
- 28:27Speaker 4: temperature cooled down because she said bare feet on the
- 28:29Speaker 4: cold floor would make me sick.
- 28:33Speaker 2: My mom was the same.
- 28:36Speaker 11: I could not have bare feet on the floor.
- 28:40Speaker 2: Really I could, well, I like.
- 28:42Speaker 4: Instantly, I could have bare feet, but I had to
- 28:44Speaker 4: be like, my body had to be cooled down. I
- 28:46Speaker 4: can't get home, you know, like you get home when

- 30:14Speaker 4: There was like there was like the end of the world.

- 30:18Speaker 4: I'd be like, that's it, guys.
- 30:19Speaker 3: Sorry no, but it's such an impressive date move. Oh man,

- 30:31Speaker 3: drive a stick.
- 30:31Speaker 2: Let's got a stick these days.
- 30:34Speaker 6: I know.

- 30:37Speaker 2: Here's my picture.
- 30:37Speaker 3: I picture meeting her and then going to her parents'
- 30:39Speaker 3: house and they've got a stick and I get to
- 30:42Speaker 3: drive the stick. And then it's like, why you didn't

- 30:46Speaker 3: Show you my stick skills, careful. Wasn't that impressed if
- 30:51Speaker 3: you could drive a stick?
- 30:52Speaker 6: Yes?

- 31:13Speaker 7: Ruby.
- 31:13Speaker 2: Does David drive a stick?
- 31:14Speaker 12: No?

- 31:21Speaker 9: No, And I tried to learn on a first date
- 31:23Speaker 9: and have somebody teach me.
- 31:24Speaker 8: But I stalled at every red light.
- 31:27Speaker 2: It's not cute.
- 31:28Speaker 1: Yeah, And that's also pressure and terrifying.
- 31:30Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't think so.
- 31:31Speaker 3: And also when that sound happens in the car, it's
- 31:33Speaker 3: terror It is terrifying, is the right word.
- 31:35Speaker 2: But they don't teach you this stuff. No parallel parking.

- 31:49Speaker 3: a skill in life tany that you wish you were
- 31:51Speaker 3: taught back in the day that you need to deal
- 31:53Speaker 3: with now?
- 31:54Speaker 11: I wish that somebody taught me in school. Health insurance?
- 31:59Speaker 2: How about health insurance the market?
- 32:03Speaker 11: Yes, yeah, like all of that stuff.
- 32:06Speaker 1: When when did you learn it?

- 32:12Speaker 4: Like when how old were you when you learned health insurance?
- 32:15Speaker 4: About like your four oh one k I.
- 32:17Speaker 5: When I got my first full time job, so I
- 32:19Speaker 5: was like twenty two twenty.
- 32:20Speaker 4: I didn't understand it then fairly that late though I
- 32:23Speaker 4: didn't I was in my early twenties as well.
- 32:26Speaker 11: But I feel like you should learn that in school.
- 32:29Speaker 3: Yeah, I think, Well that did jump starting a car.
- 32:30Speaker 3: I hope I can jump start a car. Well, then

- 32:40Speaker 3: It's kiss FM. Can we just go there for a second.
- 32:43Speaker 3: What is appropriate to open in public? In work, in
- 32:46Speaker 3: a studio in school. When it comes to your food
- 32:48Speaker 3: that you brought in your lunch box, a lunch, a sandwich,
- 32:52Speaker 3: yeah something it does not reek. Kebab sounds good? Oh wow,
- 32:58Speaker 3: I like kebab.

- 33:17Speaker 4: Littles Martos.
- 33:18Speaker 1: They had like a.
- 33:18Speaker 4: Huge celebration mariachi. It was such a fun dinner. And
- 33:22Speaker 4: I got the chicken mullet, which is something I never
- 33:24Speaker 4: ordered there. I've had it and it was delicious. I
- 33:28Speaker 4: didn't finish it, and so I put it in my
- 33:30Speaker 4: little to go back with my leftover rice and beans,
- 33:32Speaker 4: and I was so excited to bring it home and.
- 33:34Speaker 1: I left it there.
- 33:36Speaker 3: I thought it was a big deal. I know, you
- 33:39Speaker 3: know the commitment that goes into mallet. When I've had it,
- 33:42Speaker 3: it was it completely drenched.
- 33:43Speaker 2: On the plate. You can't even see the chicken exactly.
- 33:45Speaker 1: It was like just the chicken.
- 33:46Speaker 3: And that it was yes, not a little dabbled as
- 33:49Speaker 3: a big blanket.
- 33:53Speaker 4: Delicious and so yeah, and I thought about going back,
- 33:55Speaker 4: but at that point I was already home in Pagana.
- 33:58Speaker 2: That smells like cinnamon.
- 34:00Speaker 5: I mean, I'm the type of girl that brings boiled
- 34:02Speaker 5: eggs on airplane.
- 34:04Speaker 1: Do not have any self awareness? Like on a plane
- 34:07Speaker 1: stinky eggs.

- 34:10Speaker 3: No, no, no, we mind if you do not you
- 34:14Speaker 3: wi you eat that, you don't smell your own odor?
- 34:16Speaker 2: We do, I know.
- 34:17Speaker 5: But I'm saying like I don't mind if somebody on
- 34:20Speaker 5: it and the airplane is also eating something stinky.
- 34:22Speaker 11: I'm like, go.
- 34:23Speaker 2: Ahead, because you're a violatory.

- 34:38Speaker 4: No, but my eggs sound sandwich is delicious?
- 34:43Speaker 2: Smell quite so bad with the male mustards?
- 34:45Speaker 9: Yeah, no, it was so strong and like we're sitting
- 34:48Speaker 9: in this classroom. It's an hour and a half class
- 34:50Speaker 9: and I think it was like the fifteen minute mark
- 34:52Speaker 9: that we're in.
- 34:53Speaker 8: This person sitting.
- 34:55Speaker 9: A couple seats next to me pulls out like this
- 34:57Speaker 9: egg salad sandwich and just starts chewing it.
- 35:00Speaker 8: And the smell, I'm just.
- 35:01Speaker 3: Like, yeah, falling down on the desk. The props that
- 35:05Speaker 3: you eat in school, in class.
- 35:07Speaker 9: I mean, they're not thrilled about it, but like they
- 35:10Speaker 9: won't tell you put that away.
- 35:12Speaker 8: I feel like it depends also on the teacher.
- 35:14Speaker 2: I feel like there's a distraction to the other specific.
- 35:19Speaker 1: You don't know what he was talking about.
- 35:23Speaker 2: What do you call him?
