Welcome to Bible. Chat where we have.

Devotional conversations rooted in Scripture and relevant for
• 0:07
today, March 20th. Truth that sets you free.
• 0:13
It can be tempting to think that a small lie is no big.
• 0:16
  Deal a little. Exaggeration.
• 0:18
A hidden detail, A version of the story.
• 0:20
That makes you look better. In the moment, dishonesty can
• 0:24
feel easier than truth. It can seem safer, quicker and
• 0:27
less painful, but lies never stay small for long.
• 0:31
They grow, they complicate they. Weigh down the heart.
• 0:35
Truth may feel costly at first, but it.
• 0:37
Leads to freedom. Proverbs, chapter 12.
• 0:40
Verses 19 to 20 says truthful lips endure.
• 0:43
Forever. But a lying tongue is but for a
• 0:46
moment, truth lasts. Because it is.
• 0:48
Rooted in the character of God. Lies fade.
• 0:52
Because they cannot carry the weight of reality for long.
• 0:55
Then Psalm. Chapter 34 verse 4 says.
• 0:58
I sought the Lord, and He answered me and delivered me
• 1:01
from all my fears. That reminds us that many lies
• 1:04
are rooted in fear. Fear of rejection, fear of
• 1:08
consequences, fear of not measuring up.
• 1:11
But when we seek the Lord, He meets us in those fears with His
• 1:14
presence and help and judges. Chapter one, verse 19 tells.
• 1:19
Us that Judah faced real obstacles even with.
• 1:21
God's presence that is honest and important.
• 1:25
Following God does not mean there will be no challenges, it
• 1:29
means He is with us in them. Sometimes the.
• 1:32
Hardest part of. Telling the truth is not the.
• 1:34
Truth itself, it is trusting God with what comes.
• 1:37
After will people understand? Will there be?
• 1:39
  Consequences Will this make things?
• 1:42
Harder before they get better. Those are real.
• 1:45
Questions. But freedom begins where hiding
• 1:47
  ends. Truth clears the air.
• 1:49
Truth rebuilds trust. Truth aligns your heart with.
• 1:52
God. And when obstacles remain, like
• 1:55
  they did in judges. Truth.
• 1:57
Keeps you grounded. You do not have to pretend
• 1:59
something is easy when it is hard.
• 2:01
You do not have to fake strength.
• 2:04
You can be honest about your fears and still move forward in
• 2:07
faith. God is not asking you to be
• 2:09
fearless on your own. He is asking you to seek Him
• 2:13
first and trust that His truth is stronger than your fear.
• 2:16
A truthful life. Is not a perfect life, it is a
• 2:19
surrendered life. A life that says.
• 2:22
Lord, I want what is real, what is clean, and what honors you.
• 2:26
That kind of life may not always look easy.
• 2:28
But it will be free. Let's.
• 2:30
Pray Heavenly Father, thank you that your truth is steady and
• 2:34
  your. Presence drives out fear.
• 2:36
Help me to choose honesty, even when it feels difficult.
• 2:40
Deliver me from the fear that leads to hiding, pretending, or
• 2:43
compromise. Teach me to seek you first.
• 2:46
Trust you with. Every obstacle and walk in the
• 2:49
freedom that comes from truth in Jesus name, Amen.
