Transcript
- 0:09Speaker 1: Ye, shoot, it's.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Time and low and low Welcome to the naughty but nicea.
- 0:17Speaker 2: I'm your house shooter. And it's Monday, which means our
- 0:20Speaker 2: dear friend Garrett Vogel joins us. Hey, Garrett, are you there?
- 0:23Speaker 3: Oh yes, Bob, and I know what you did all weekend,
- 0:27Speaker 3: just like you and I. We sat down, we turned
- 0:29Speaker 3: on Netflix, and we watched Happy Gilmore Too for like
- 0:31Speaker 3: five times.
- 0:32Speaker 2: In a row, very close. I actually watched the Billy
- 0:35Speaker 2: Joel documentary on HBO.
- 0:37Speaker 1: How great was that?
- 0:38Speaker 2: It's really really good. Now it's long. Let me just
- 0:41Speaker 2: say that, it's five hours. It's two parts, two and
- 0:44Speaker 2: a half hours. Ex I thought I just watched the
- 0:46Speaker 2: first hour because it's part of my job. I've got
- 0:49Speaker 2: to be in, you know, in the now. It's the
- 0:51Speaker 2: entertainment business. Billy Joel's a big day. I couldn't stop.
- 0:55Speaker 2: It's the best celebrity documentary I have ever seen. I
- 0:59Speaker 2: actually wrote a sort story on substack today about why
- 1:02Speaker 2: it is so good, And let me just briefly tell
- 1:04Speaker 2: you it's because it is totally authentic. Often celebrities, when
- 1:09Speaker 2: they put out these documentaries, it's to give off a legacy,
- 1:13Speaker 2: an image, a myth to create you know, lasting legacy.
- 1:17Speaker 2: Billy doesn't do that. There's nothing that isn't covered, really
- 1:22Speaker 2: ugly stuff, including suicide. And it's the most amazing And
- 1:26Speaker 2: as a friend of mine said, this shows you what
- 1:28Speaker 2: a good person Billy Joel is. When three of your
- 1:31Speaker 2: ex wives three one, two, three are all in the
- 1:34Speaker 2: same television show and that show is not Date Lion,
- 1:38Speaker 2: then something's coming. Well, it's like it is amazing, Garrett,
- 1:42Speaker 2: see it, you'll love it.
- 1:43Speaker 3: What was your take on him saying that he didn't
- 1:45Speaker 3: he's never had a duy.
- 1:48Speaker 2: I think in taken into context of the show, I
- 1:51Speaker 2: can't imagine him telling just that silly lie. It's like
- 1:54Speaker 2: a witness understand. He is so believable. He tells the
- 1:57Speaker 2: truth about really private things. Why would he lie about that?
- 2:01Speaker 2: So I want to believe everything he says. Let me
- 2:03Speaker 2: also add two. At the end of the day, Billy
- 2:06Speaker 2: doesn't need this documentary. It's about the music. That music,
- 2:09Speaker 2: those songs get here after hit go watch it. I
- 2:14Speaker 2: can't rave about it. And O O K, let's jump
- 2:16Speaker 2: into ashur worktime is it? My friends? And three times
- 2:19Speaker 2: so Prince Harry will be banished when King William hits
- 2:24Speaker 2: the throne, so there's no place for Harry in William's monarchy.
- 2:28Speaker 2: That decision has already been made. Harry will be officially
- 2:31Speaker 2: erased from royal life completely once his brother William takes
- 2:36Speaker 2: the throne. There is no coming back. Multiple sources have
- 2:39Speaker 2: told me that the king that when the king, God, God,
- 2:43Speaker 2: God bless him. I love King Charles, King Charles the third,
- 2:46Speaker 2: but when he passes, William's going to cut his brother
- 2:49Speaker 2: off permanently. This is not up for debate. This is
- 2:52Speaker 2: going to happen. If you remember recently, just a few
- 2:54Speaker 2: weeks ago, we spotted some top level negotiations, peace talks
- 2:58Speaker 2: we could call them, between Charles's people and Harry's. That's right,
- 3:04Speaker 2: they were meeting. They were talking about it. Mine's had
- 3:06Speaker 2: to say, what a waste of time, because they should
- 3:08Speaker 2: be meeting with William's people. William is going to be
- 3:11Speaker 2: the future king. We might not like it, but it
- 3:13Speaker 2: is going to happen. William will be king. I hope
- 3:16Speaker 2: it's a while. I'm not killing off King Charles here. However,
- 3:19Speaker 2: if Harry wants the future in this family, it is
- 3:22Speaker 2: in the hands of William, and I think it's.
- 3:24Speaker 3: You think it's smart though on Harry's side, because if
- 3:26Speaker 3: you think about it, so you know, his brother's not
- 3:28Speaker 3: going to let him in, he's going to banish him.
- 3:30Speaker 1: But there's a chance with dad.
- 3:32Speaker 3: If there's a chance with dad, So if Dad let
- 3:34Speaker 3: him in, you know, is it like one of those
- 3:37Speaker 3: things where then William will have trouble kicking him out.
- 3:40Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a really good question. What I'm told here
- 3:43Speaker 2: is that Charles is much more soft about his son
- 3:47Speaker 2: than William is about his brother. So what he wants,
- 3:50Speaker 2: what Harry wants. Let's be clear, these peace talks are
- 3:52Speaker 2: not like let's make friends. He wants the deal that
- 3:55Speaker 2: he tried to get Queen Elizabeth to sign off on,
- 3:57Speaker 2: which we will be part time royals, will live in America.
- 4:00Speaker 2: You'll still pay for us your fund, us will go
- 4:02Speaker 2: on a few trips a years on, behalf of the crown,
- 4:05Speaker 2: but independent royals. Queen Elizabeth said, absolutely no, you're either
- 4:09Speaker 2: in all you're at. It's not a part time job.
- 4:11Speaker 2: You're a royal or you're not. And I'm with Queen
- 4:14Speaker 2: Elizabeth on that. Charles is getting a little bit fuzzy.
- 4:17Speaker 2: Charles is probably going to accept the deal that the
- 4:20Speaker 2: queen rejected. Well, William then is going to be stuck
- 4:23Speaker 2: with a bum deal which he will not accept. Like
- 4:25Speaker 2: if I negotiate a deal with you, Garrett, but you
- 4:28Speaker 2: leave the job in two or three years, then that
- 4:30Speaker 2: deal is going to be reviewed. That's what happens whenever
- 4:33Speaker 2: you know it. If you work in a company and
- 4:36Speaker 2: the Boston's in, yeah, the rule's going to change. I've
- 4:38Speaker 2: worked at so many magazines. When I stroll in, all
- 4:42Speaker 2: the staff are like, Oh, he's going to bring his
- 4:44Speaker 2: people in, and I probably am. I'm going to probably
- 4:46Speaker 2: bring my friends in. And so I think, here negotiating
- 4:50Speaker 2: a deal with the king who has unfortunately a limited
- 4:54Speaker 2: limited span. He's not going to be on the throne
- 4:56Speaker 2: for twenty thirty years. It's a silly deal because it's
- 4:59Speaker 2: going to be renegot once his brother William So's he's
- 5:02Speaker 2: barking up the wrong tree here. I think that we
- 5:05Speaker 2: do this in life, Garrett. We look to tomorrow and
- 5:08Speaker 2: we should be looking for five years down the road.
- 5:11Speaker 2: I say to myself all the time, if this doesn't
- 5:13Speaker 2: matter in five years, it doesn't matter now. It's gotta
- 5:16Speaker 2: be the long game, Garrett, Do you play the long
- 5:18Speaker 2: game or the short game.
- 5:19Speaker 3: It's weird because as much as you need to play
- 5:22Speaker 3: the long game, you want to be in the moment,
- 5:24Speaker 3: you know what I mean. So it's one of those
- 5:26Speaker 3: where you kind of have to take a peek into
- 5:29Speaker 3: the future, but don't stay there too long because you're
- 5:33Speaker 3: you're letting the current moment pass you by as quickly
- 5:36Speaker 3: as possible, right, So you kind of have to keep
- 5:38Speaker 3: one eye down the road, but kind of look back
- 5:41Speaker 3: to where you are.
- 5:42Speaker 2: You know, it's a real juggle. My advice to Harry,
- 5:45Speaker 2: if you're listening Gallaba, Loolo and Megan, is visualize what
- 5:49Speaker 2: do you want this relationship to be five years from now,
- 5:51Speaker 2: and then try and figure out how to make that happen.
- 5:53Speaker 2: Not tomorrow, not the day after. What do you want
- 5:56Speaker 2: it to be? And the key to this the keys William.
- 6:00Speaker 1: You know, you know what it is.
- 6:01Speaker 3: It's hard to grasp because they have so much, you
- 6:04Speaker 3: know what i mean, Like you and I were working,
- 6:07Speaker 3: we're trying to make it and they just have everything
- 6:10Speaker 3: just handed to them. And now that it's like this
- 6:13Speaker 3: too will be handed to them, it's hard to sympathize with,
- 6:17Speaker 3: hard to scientifize.
- 6:18Speaker 2: But we we have people that we work with who
- 6:20Speaker 2: have stuff that is handed to them. Maybe the best
- 6:23Speaker 2: looking person in your company doesn't have to work quite
- 6:26Speaker 2: as hard as you do. I mean, it's impossible for
- 6:30Speaker 2: me to even imagine that, but it is. It's part
- 6:33Speaker 2: of life. Some people are entitled, some people think they
- 6:37Speaker 2: are desire should be given the world, and that's what
- 6:41Speaker 2: William and Harry both think because from little boys they
- 6:44Speaker 2: were given the world. And this is the first time
- 6:46Speaker 2: I think anyone has said no to Harry, and he
- 6:49Speaker 2: doesn't quite know what to do with it. Moving forward,
- 6:52Speaker 2: there bettering up your dad, making friends with your dad,
- 6:55Speaker 2: it's a good idea. You want to be friends with
- 6:56Speaker 2: your parents. You want peace, Yeah, make peace, but don't
- 7:00Speaker 2: make peace to get the job, because the job is
- 7:02Speaker 2: not gonna be your dad's to give. It's gonna be
- 7:05Speaker 2: your brothers. Which brings us to our pole question off
- 7:08Speaker 2: the day Harry's gonna be banned when William becomes the king?
- 7:13Speaker 2: Do you think there is any place any chance that
- 7:17Speaker 2: Harry could convince William to take him and make him back. Hey,
- 7:21Speaker 2: go vote on our Twitter page at Naughty Nice rob
- 7:25Speaker 2: our facebook pages Naughty gossip and sure to check back.
- 7:29Speaker 2: Tom Router here your results. Hey, Garrett Love, let me
- 7:32Speaker 2: work it on.
- 7:33Speaker 3: Well, it seemed like Vegas was the place to be
- 7:35Speaker 3: over the weekend. I mean, you have residencies, you have
- 7:38Speaker 3: Kelly Clarkson, you have you have the Backstreet Boys over
- 7:42Speaker 3: at the Sphere, and then Beyonce rolls into town to
- 7:45Speaker 3: kind of wrap up Raw Boy Carter shows. And out
- 7:49Speaker 3: of all the collaborations she has done over her career,
- 7:53Speaker 3: the one that everybody has just hoped for for a
- 7:57Speaker 3: return happened on her lash bringing back Destiny's Child for
- 8:02Speaker 3: one night only, and of all the places to do
- 8:04Speaker 3: one night only, Las Vegas, and you know, pretty much
- 8:08Speaker 3: just broke the internet over the weekend. But you know,
- 8:11Speaker 3: the question always is is this a start of something
- 8:15Speaker 3: new music? Nope, nope, nope, no, no, no, no, no.
- 8:20Speaker 3: Everybody's doing their own thing, you know, Michelle, Kelly, and
- 8:24Speaker 3: of course Beyonce as well. Beyonce is probably gonna take
- 8:27Speaker 3: a little bit of a break after this tour. But yeah,
- 8:30Speaker 3: you know it's it's I just I love it and
- 8:33Speaker 3: hate it all at once. I love it for the
- 8:34Speaker 3: nostalgia you see it, and then hate it for the
- 8:36Speaker 3: tease of what could be it never will be ever again,
- 8:40Speaker 3: you know what I mean?
- 8:41Speaker 2: Now, I was watching this footage. I've watched it ten times.
- 8:44Speaker 2: Let's be honest. This is produced. They had to rehearse this,
- 8:48Speaker 2: the costumes, the key changes, the light and cues. I
- 8:53Speaker 2: used to think before I met Bruce, my husband, that
- 8:56Speaker 2: you just jumped up on stage and you started to
- 8:58Speaker 2: sing and no, no, no, no. For five minutes of entertainment.
- 9:02Speaker 2: There's five hours of preparation, the lighting, cues, the costumes,
- 9:06Speaker 2: the sets. Where are you, particularly if you're in a group,
- 9:08Speaker 2: because you've got to step to the left. I'm gonna
- 9:10Speaker 2: step to the right. You're gonna put your hand on
- 9:12Speaker 2: my shoulder. I'm gonna move my hair. They it's so perfect.
- 9:15Speaker 2: Now do they have it in their DNA? Yes, they've
- 9:17Speaker 2: they performed together.
- 9:19Speaker 1: It ten hours worth of rehearsal.
- 9:20Speaker 2: Probably it's a good couple of hours, you know. Beyonce
- 9:23Speaker 2: rolled back the rug in her apartment and said, come on, girls.
- 9:26Speaker 1: Get up, pick up your hair bush and move the
- 9:28Speaker 1: couch over a little bit.
- 9:29Speaker 2: Push. Jay pushed that couch over. We're going to practice.
- 9:32Speaker 2: What a fabulous way to end a two of them.
- 9:35Speaker 2: And it's so generous because I know artists that don't
- 9:38Speaker 2: like to share the stage and they wouldn't have a
- 9:42Speaker 2: special guest come up on the last show. They just
- 9:45Speaker 2: wasn't into it. Just it's not inviting those boys. Beyonce.
- 9:51Speaker 2: Beyonce is confident enough in who she is as an
- 9:54Speaker 2: artist that she's like, we can do this.
- 9:55Speaker 3: You know what I took that took the Reunionaires because
- 9:59Speaker 3: once they finish, they pretty much just I saw it
- 10:02Speaker 3: as a passing of the torch over to Blue Ivy.
- 10:04Speaker 1: Oh you know what I mean.
- 10:06Speaker 2: That's the future. It's not Destiny's Chrials. You're right, the
- 10:08Speaker 2: future of the House of Carter. It's blue. It's okay.
- 10:12Speaker 2: Moving along. Jessica Elber's new love. We've seen some pictures
- 10:15Speaker 2: of her out there kissing the actor Danny Rimirez. Well,
- 10:18Speaker 2: it stings. It hurts her ex husband, Cash Warrant. So
- 10:22Speaker 2: sources tell me he has seen the pictures Cash, her ex,
- 10:25Speaker 2: and he's hurt by them, And sauces say that he
- 10:27Speaker 2: isn't exactly shocked, but it still stings after seventeen years
- 10:33Speaker 2: out seventeen years of marriage, three kids. Friends say that
- 10:36Speaker 2: he suspected she'd emotionally checked out a long time ago.
- 10:40Speaker 2: Mindset is are telling me he really tried to fight
- 10:43Speaker 2: to save this marriage, and it was Jessica who said no,
- 10:46Speaker 2: it's over. And now really quickly, maybe too quickly, May
- 10:50Speaker 2: I say she's with another guy. I think she's trying
- 10:53Speaker 2: to keep it classy. But at the same time, it's fast. Garrett.
- 10:57Speaker 2: After you've been someone who was seventeen years we have
- 10:59Speaker 2: you and me, but someone a really long time to
- 11:02Speaker 2: suddenly within weeks have somebody else I'm kissing. I'm like,
- 11:06Speaker 2: come on.
- 11:07Speaker 3: You know it's funny too, Like we always find ways
- 11:09Speaker 3: to try to detox from our phones, Like this has
- 11:13Speaker 3: to be the ultimate way to detox from putting your
- 11:15Speaker 3: phone down when your your very famous, wealthy ex wife
- 11:21Speaker 3: is with someone else, like and not only do you
- 11:24Speaker 3: see it on your feeds of your social media, but
- 11:26Speaker 3: friends are probably obviously talking about it and they want
- 11:30Speaker 3: they want to make sure you're okay. I mean, that's
- 11:32Speaker 3: one of the ultimate things I would say that would
- 11:34Speaker 3: just make me just take my phone, throw it into
- 11:37Speaker 3: the river and never see it every.
- 11:38Speaker 2: Just I don't want to see this. I don't want
- 11:40Speaker 2: to I love Jessica Albert. In my early PR days,
- 11:44Speaker 2: I worked with her just for a very short time.
- 11:46Speaker 2: She's really cool, really cool. She was dating Michael Weatherley
- 11:49Speaker 2: at the time, remember that, Oh my god, that long ago.
- 11:51Speaker 2: They were an adorable couple, really sweet together. And then
- 11:54Speaker 2: when Cash came along. I think it was easy to
- 11:57Speaker 2: dismiss Cash. It's just out for the cash originally. People,
- 12:02Speaker 2: he's just after her for he's seventeen years, three kids.
- 12:05Speaker 2: That that's a that's a foundation. That's a real, real marriage.
- 12:08Speaker 2: It breaks my heart whenever I see relationships end. But
- 12:12Speaker 2: this is quick, Jessica. This is a very quick transition,
- 12:16Speaker 2: so quick it's almost reminded me of Brad and Angelina.
- 12:19Speaker 2: And now people are saying, is it that quick or
- 12:22Speaker 2: has the new guy been around for a while. This
- 12:24Speaker 2: timeline's getting a little bit fuzzy.
- 12:26Speaker 3: Hopefully Brad and and well, Brad and Angelina just finalized
- 12:29Speaker 3: their stuff. They're still fighting over their wild hopefully Hopefully
- 12:33Speaker 3: Jessica and Cash are not fighting over diapers.
- 12:35Speaker 2: Hopefully, hopefully not. Oh it makes me just a little
- 12:39Speaker 2: bit sad. Okay, moving along Taylor Swift News all right,
- 12:42Speaker 2: people think she might be doing something very big.
- 12:46Speaker 3: Well, yes, I mean the rumors over the last year,
- 12:48Speaker 3: outside of just the quote unquote possible engagement to Travis
- 12:53Speaker 3: is music. They've been they've been dying on music. They've
- 12:56Speaker 3: been dying to hear new music. They've been they've been
- 12:58Speaker 3: watching when trademarks expire on certain websites, and that means
- 13:02Speaker 3: music is coming. Well, she was out in La over
- 13:06Speaker 3: the weekend and she had a bunch of people sign
- 13:09Speaker 3: what we call in the business NDAs. I'm sure you
- 13:12Speaker 3: have signed one or two in your lifetime, Rob Shooter,
- 13:16Speaker 3: and with this apparently according to our exclusive Shooter scoop,
- 13:22Speaker 3: the team were only given beats for this production. They
- 13:25Speaker 3: were working on no lyrics, just a beat, so like
- 13:28Speaker 3: kind of like the instrumental per se. And it was
- 13:32Speaker 3: total lockdown, just as you expect for any type of
- 13:35Speaker 3: Taylor Swift project involving anything involving her musical career. Or
- 13:41Speaker 3: maybe it was just a intro video for the wedding
- 13:44Speaker 3: that they might be having, who knows.
- 13:46Speaker 2: But.
- 13:48Speaker 3: Everybody on the internet obviously very excited. But here's the thing.
- 13:52Speaker 3: Taylor is very smart in what she's doing, so she
- 13:55Speaker 3: could be leading us down a path thinking we're getting
- 13:57Speaker 3: new music, but it could be something else, or it
- 13:59Speaker 3: could be something that she'll hold on to now for
- 14:02Speaker 3: six months right here, who knows?
- 14:04Speaker 2: You know how to do this? How to do this? Yeah,
- 14:07Speaker 2: and to record new music non disclosure agreements. It's wild,
- 14:12Speaker 2: isn't it. They just give you the beat, whatever the
- 14:15Speaker 2: beat is, and then you learn your dances around that beat,
- 14:18Speaker 2: you learn your choreography around that, and then you don't
- 14:21Speaker 2: get the lyrics. I like this. I get it. She's
- 14:24Speaker 2: the biggest star in the world. It does feel a
- 14:27Speaker 2: little bit overkilled to me, Like this is not nuclear secrets.
- 14:30Speaker 2: This is not the nuclear code.
- 14:32Speaker 3: Of course, but you know, you know what, I look
- 14:34Speaker 3: at it as though it's like this is yours, you
- 14:36Speaker 3: know what I mean, Like this is your project, this
- 14:39Speaker 3: is your homework assignment, this is your passion. And to
- 14:42Speaker 3: have just you know, leaked out now, you're right. Two
- 14:46Speaker 3: guys on a podcast, Hey, did you hear you know?
- 14:50Speaker 3: It's not our place?
- 14:51Speaker 2: You know, well, we sort of think it is. Maybe
- 14:55Speaker 2: we might keep that secret. Okay, quickly before we get
- 14:57Speaker 2: a break. Megan and Harris twenty five million dollar movie.
- 15:00Speaker 2: He has stalled, so they bought the rights to the
- 15:03Speaker 2: book meets Me at the Lake. A big book. It's
- 15:07Speaker 2: a very much sort of what was it called It
- 15:11Speaker 2: Ends with Us? That's it. It's that type of novel,
- 15:13Speaker 2: one of those Colleen Hoover type novels. It's not how
- 15:16Speaker 2: that story goes. Yeah, that's right. They can't raise the money.
- 15:19Speaker 2: So to make the movie, Harry and Meghan have to
- 15:22Speaker 2: raise about twenty five million dollars. They don't have that money.
- 15:24Speaker 2: So they bought the rights to the book. But that
- 15:26Speaker 2: doesn't mean mean you could buy the rights to something garage.
- 15:28Speaker 2: It doesn't mean we're going to be able to turn
- 15:29Speaker 2: it into a musical or a movie. You gotta get
- 15:32Speaker 2: the money twenty five million dollars. A lot of people
- 15:35Speaker 2: in Hollywood that they've gone to have passed. They just
- 15:37Speaker 2: don't want to be in business with Harry and Meghan.
- 15:40Speaker 2: I think after you've had a few big failures, when
- 15:43Speaker 2: you've lost money for companies, it's very hard for investors
- 15:46Speaker 2: to say this is a good bet.
- 15:48Speaker 1: Megan didn't want to make everybody pies and.
- 15:52Speaker 2: Paying them and jam, she's not paying them, and Jam. Okay,
- 15:54Speaker 2: we're going to take a quick break and we will
- 15:56Speaker 2: be right back. Welcome back to you. In order the
- 16:00Speaker 2: nice shammy host job shooters are different. Garrett Vogel, Hey, Garrett,
- 16:03Speaker 2: let's get to the poles. Regard last year we tooked about.
- 16:07Speaker 2: Amberell's death has been ruled a suicide. However, her friends
- 16:11Speaker 2: still have a lot of questions. There's a lot of
- 16:14Speaker 2: mystery around the death of and there was no suicide
- 16:17Speaker 2: note there were pills everywhere. Was she trying to kill herself?
- 16:20Speaker 2: Was this an accident? What do you think? Do you

- 16:46Speaker 3: Yes, all right, Well, you know last week was kind
- 16:49Speaker 3: of crazy just with the amount of celebrity deaths, including
- 16:54Speaker 3: Azzi Osbourne and over the weekend, Kelly Osbourne, his daughter,
- 16:59Speaker 3: shared shared you know a little throwback over on our
- 17:02Speaker 3: Instagram stories, calling it one of the best Ozzie moments
- 17:05Speaker 3: ever from their A and E series Jack and Nazzie's
- 17:09Speaker 3: World Detour. They you know, they were just going back
- 17:11Speaker 3: and forth and they were singing and dancing to George

- 18:18Speaker 2: that all this was happening. There are photographs of them
- 18:20Speaker 2: again today looking all happy. Yet behind the scenes sources
- 18:24Speaker 2: tell me, if you have a best friend for twenty
- 18:27Speaker 2: thirty years and suddenly there's a new person who keeps
