- 0:25Speaker 2: about a gift certificate to von Mahr that just opened.
- 0:28Speaker 4: Over the weekend.
- 0:29Speaker 2: Yeah, and the mall I think everybody in Fargo went
- 0:32Speaker 2: to that. The pictures were wild. But to get in
- 0:34Speaker 2: on this, all you gotta do is text Diamond to
- 0:37Speaker 2: seven oh one two way one ninety eight seven and
- 0:40Speaker 2: we call you.
- 0:41Speaker 4: Are you ready?
- 0:42Speaker 5: I am ready for this. I been looking forward to
- 0:44Speaker 5: this all morning. We've had a lot of success with
- 0:46Speaker 5: people in the past. Here, let's see what we got today.
- 0:49Speaker 2: Yes, the only stipulation you have to answer in three
- 0:52Speaker 2: rings or less in order for you to win this prize.
- 0:55Speaker 4: Here we go.
- 0:57Speaker 5: And for those of you a little behind the wall
- 0:59Speaker 5: here behind the whatever the thing is, Amanda has all
- 1:02Speaker 5: the pressure pushing the numbers right now, right, all right,
- 1:05Speaker 5: here we go.
- 1:06Speaker 1: It didn't work.
- 1:07Speaker 6: The number you have dialed is not in service.
- 1:10Speaker 4: You mean that kind of pressure. That's what I will
- 1:13Speaker 4: tell you this.
- 1:13Speaker 2: When you're like to fargo morehead, it's like do you
- 1:15Speaker 2: do the seven oh one? Sometimes you do, sometimes you don't.
- 1:18Speaker 5: The two.
- 1:19Speaker 1: We'll give it another shot here.
- 1:21Speaker 5: There's so much going on, all the pressure on Amanda,
- 1:24Speaker 5: and we are hoping that this person answers within the
- 1:27Speaker 5: first three rings.
- 1:28Speaker 1: All right, take number two. Let's see there we go.
- 1:37Speaker 4: Oh gosh, oh gosh, hello, way, good morning. Is this Katie?
- 1:50Speaker 2: Yes, Katie, this is Gavin Amanda on Big ninety eight
- 1:53Speaker 2: point seven.
- 1:53Speaker 4: How are you doing, Sunshine.
- 1:55Speaker 5: I'm good.
- 1:56Speaker 4: I'm getting my three kids ready to go. And I
- 1:57Speaker 4: heard my phone ring and I was like, oh, I
- 1:59Speaker 4: better go get it, and I thought was my husband?
- 2:00Speaker 4: But this is better?
- 2:01Speaker 2: Oh yes it is, because Katie, we are hooking you
- 2:05Speaker 2: up with a one thousand dollars gift card too, a
- 2:09Speaker 2: cutting edge gallery of jewelry.
- 2:11Speaker 4: Oh my gosh, amazing. I'm so excited. A thousand bones.
- 2:15Speaker 1: What are you gonna do with all that money?
- 2:18Speaker 2: I don't know Mother's Day's coming.
- 2:20Speaker 4: So that's her. Oh I love that you deserve something.
- 2:23Speaker 4: How old are your three kids?
- 2:26Speaker 2: Six, six, three and one?
- 2:29Speaker 4: Oh, mommy, you're busy. Maybe you can get the stackable
- 2:32Speaker 4: rings for all of their birthstones?
- 2:34Speaker 2: Are something really special for you over at a cutting
- 2:36Speaker 2: edge gallery a jewelry? Well, congratulations, thank you so much.
- 2:41Speaker 2: Hang on, Katie, we're doing it again. You guys coming
- 2:44Speaker 2: up at ten eleven, so make sure you're in on this.
- 2:47Speaker 2: Just text diamond to seven to one to two, eight
- 2:49Speaker 2: out one ninety eight seven.
- 2:50Speaker 4: Good luck.
- 2:53Speaker 1: Today's variety big ninety eight point seven.
- 2:55Speaker 4: Finally Monday.
- 2:57Speaker 2: You like what I said that If you say finally Monday,
- 3:00Speaker 2: it makes it feel like, yes, it's a Monday. Finally,
- 3:03Speaker 2: Finally you're going to be sunny today. Hi have about
- 3:05Speaker 2: thirty six, a little cool, but then we're getting a
- 3:07Speaker 2: nice little warm up, going to be sixty by the weekends.
- 3:10Speaker 1: I'm never finally Monday, I got I'd throw it out there.
- 3:14Speaker 6: Yeah, I like that?
- 3:15Speaker 3: Is you ready?
- 3:15Speaker 2: Ready?
- 3:16Speaker 4: Let's see is typing hot today? And now Amanda fills
- 3:21Speaker 4: the sea looks see.
- 3:24Speaker 2: She's been known as victim number one, and anybody who's
- 3:27Speaker 2: been following along with Dittya's trial, they know that it is,
- 3:30Speaker 2: in fact, Cassie Ventura. We all saw the video, even
- 3:33Speaker 2: if you didn't want to see it. It was all
- 3:34Speaker 2: over social media. Even though his defense is saying that
- 3:37Speaker 2: it was edited, it doesn't matter. What we saw was horrendous.
- 3:41Speaker 2: And she does plan to testify against Diddy in this
- 3:44Speaker 2: upcoming trial. She's not going to be anonymous, and it's
- 3:46Speaker 2: going to get interesting to see how this all plays out.
- 3:49Speaker 2: It felt like it was never going to get here,
- 3:51Speaker 2: but it is going to be here in less than
- 3:52Speaker 2: a month. Didya's trial is set for May fifth. Did
- 3:55Speaker 2: He has pleaded not guilty, denying all allegations. And again,
- 3:59Speaker 2: there was I want to say about a week and
- 4:01Speaker 2: a half ago, do you remember I was telling you
- 4:02Speaker 2: about that documentary where they had basically had kind of
- 4:08Speaker 2: like fake jury members go through the process, and interesting enough,
- 4:14Speaker 2: we thought, oh, slam dunk against him, and they said,
- 4:17Speaker 2: it's actually going to be a lot tougher to prove
- 4:19Speaker 2: some of these things than you imagined. And that is
- 4:22Speaker 2: so hard for me to wrap my head around it
- 4:23Speaker 2: because you just assume he's going to be locked up
- 4:25Speaker 2: forever with all of the allegations.
- 4:26Speaker 4: But we'll have to wait and see yeah, grave thing
- 4:29Speaker 4: for her to do as well.
- 4:30Speaker 2: Absolutely, And speaking of trials, this one is going to
- 4:35Speaker 2: be here in over a year and they are just
- 4:38Speaker 2: seling in mud back and forth. Blake Lively is firing
- 4:41Speaker 2: back at Justin Baldoni after he opposed her emotion to
- 4:44Speaker 2: dismiss his lawsuit accusing her of orchestrating a smear campaign.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Baldoni's legal team claims that he has a First Amendment
- 4:51Speaker 2: right to sue over what they allege our false accusations.
- 4:54Speaker 2: Blake's attorneys argue that Justin is just trying to silence victims,
- 4:58Speaker 2: and then his attorney fired back In said she does
- 5:00Speaker 2: not need discovery to find out who smeared her, just
- 5:03Speaker 2: a mirror will do.
- 5:04Speaker 4: I'm like, yeah, I'm coming in hot.
- 5:08Speaker 5: I'm so confused. Didn't this all start with like harassment
- 5:12Speaker 5: yea or something? And now I have no clue where
- 5:15Speaker 5: this is gone. I've lost kind of track of the
- 5:18Speaker 5: back and forth.
- 5:19Speaker 2: It is so much back and forth because they're both
- 5:21Speaker 2: saying pretty much the same, especially when it comes to
- 5:23Speaker 2: this smear campaign.
- 5:24Speaker 4: So again, this is going to be one of those situations.
- 5:26Speaker 2: If they settle out of court, I will be shocked
- 5:28Speaker 2: to have a feeling we're going to have this trial
- 5:30Speaker 2: next March.
- 5:31Speaker 1: Yeah, they've gone too far down the rabbit hole.
- 5:34Speaker 4: H huh.
- 5:35Speaker 2: And it was a big weekend at the box office.
- 5:38Speaker 2: Minecraft absolutely dominated the box office over the weekend, blowing
- 5:42Speaker 2: past expectations. To be completely honest with you, I hadn't
- 5:45Speaker 2: seen previous for it. I didn't even know it was
- 5:47Speaker 2: a thing. I had seen a lot of my friends though,
- 5:50Speaker 2: on social media talk about how awesome it was to
- 5:52Speaker 2: see a duo. They never knew they needed Jack Black
- 5:55Speaker 2: and Jason Momoa.
- 5:57Speaker 4: They were in the movie.
- 5:58Speaker 2: They brought in one hundred and fifty seven million dollars
- 6:01Speaker 2: and three hundred million globally. I feel like it's been
- 6:03Speaker 2: a while since we've had a good box office movie.
- 6:08Speaker 1: I feel like it's been a while.
- 6:09Speaker 4: Usually around the holidays, but for this year, has there
- 6:11Speaker 4: been one.
- 6:12Speaker 5: I feel like it's been a while since Jack Black
- 6:14Speaker 5: has been in a movie that made any money.
- 6:15Speaker 4: So good for him? Was that a shot?
- 6:18Speaker 2: I think that?
- 6:19Speaker 4: I mean, if I was black Jack Black, that would hurt.
- 6:23Speaker 5: Well, he's rich now, I mean, who cares all them
- 6:25Speaker 5: flops for something good? I guess wasn't he the voice
- 6:28Speaker 5: in the Kung Fu Panda'm sure those do well.
- 6:30Speaker 4: I have no idea.
- 6:32Speaker 1: I have no idea either.
- 6:33Speaker 5: You're just hating on Jack black Jack. Black School of
- 6:36Speaker 5: Rock is a great movie. That's one of my favorite
- 6:38Speaker 5: movies of all time. I just thought he was on
- 6:41Speaker 5: a bit of a downswing, that's all. That's hilarious. I
- 6:43Speaker 5: thought you would have a win and saw this. You're
- 6:45Speaker 5: a big gamer. Minecraft not your thing. I've never blade
- 6:49Speaker 5: scene or even really watched any Minecraft in my life.
- 6:52Speaker 6: I do know.
- 6:54Speaker 5: I believe what you do is you run around and
- 6:56Speaker 5: you're like you mine for things, which I don't really get.
- 7:02Speaker 5: But there are some kids listening right now who hear
- 7:04Speaker 5: the bed in the background, the music in the background,
- 7:07Speaker 5: and they're going, oh, it's Minecraft or whatever.
- 7:09Speaker 4: I have never heard this in my life, so I
- 7:10Speaker 4: don't know anything about it.
- 7:12Speaker 2: That makes two of us. I am terrible when it
- 7:15Speaker 2: comes to any sort of gaming. But huge weekend of
- 7:17Speaker 2: the box office. If you're looking for some fun to
- 7:19Speaker 2: take the kids to, get there and.
- 7:21Speaker 4: Check it out.
- 7:23Speaker 1: Today's Variety Big ninety eight point seven.
- 7:26Speaker 2: Huge congratulations to Katie Meyer, who won one thousand dollars
- 7:29Speaker 2: to a cutting edge gallery of jewelry with our Diamond
- 7:32Speaker 2: Dazing Giveaways contest, and that rolls on. We're calling another
- 7:36Speaker 2: name at ten eleven. We call you, but we aren't
- 7:39Speaker 2: going to know your name or your number unless you
- 7:41Speaker 2: get in on it. So Jess, text diamond to seven
- 7:44Speaker 2: oh one two eight oho one ninety eight seven.
- 7:45Speaker 1: It's like buying a powerball ticket.
- 7:47Speaker 5: You can't complain about not winning the power ball if
- 7:49Speaker 5: you don't buy a ticket, right, so.
- 7:51Speaker 4: True, All right, amana.
- 7:53Speaker 5: There was this interesting post from this teacher that went viral,
- 7:57Speaker 5: and there were some interesting comments on Big ninety eight
- 8:00Speaker 5: point seven's Facebook page. I thought, but there was a
- 8:04Speaker 5: teacher who had gone viral on the internet for banning
- 8:06Speaker 5: certain words or phrases in her classroom.
- 8:11Speaker 1: And really, this whole thing is kind of a joke.
- 8:14Speaker 5: It's just it was meant as kind of something to
- 8:17Speaker 5: wait for her to have fun with their students, okay
- 8:19Speaker 5: and kind So she wasn't being serious about it. No,
- 8:23Speaker 5: it's like they're going to get detention if they say bro,
- 8:26Speaker 5: you know, as you should.
- 8:27Speaker 4: Though I drop a bro every once in a while.
- 8:30Speaker 4: I cannot stand bro.
- 8:32Speaker 2: Cannot it's not my jam and my kids have started
- 8:35Speaker 2: using it oh, bro, Bro, No, I am your mom,
- 8:41Speaker 2: and that is that's all it's gonna be. I am
- 8:44Speaker 2: your mom, that is your dad. There is no Bro
- 8:47Speaker 2: or Broski going on here. Sure, I know exactly that.
- 8:51Speaker 2: What got me thinking, like saying bro was cool? I'll
- 8:54Speaker 2: never forget it.
- 8:55Speaker 5: It was the second Fast and the Furious movie with
- 8:58Speaker 5: Paul Walker and what's his name Tyresee and he says,
- 9:03Speaker 5: what's up, brow and gives him a dap when they
- 9:06Speaker 5: meet together for one of the first times in the flick,
- 9:08Speaker 5: and I remember going, I want to say, Bro, Paul
- 9:10Speaker 5: Walker is the coolest dude I've ever seen.
- 9:13Speaker 4: Say You've been using it ever since then?
- 9:16Speaker 5: Yeah, whenever that movie came out, Yeah, I made I
- 9:20Speaker 5: made it part of my I was probably dropping bros
- 9:22Speaker 5: in third grade and that would have been in like
- 9:26Speaker 5: the early nine or the mid to late nineties.
- 9:28Speaker 4: Kids.
- 9:29Speaker 1: Anyway, there are some people who are not a fan
- 9:32Speaker 1: of this at all.
- 9:33Speaker 5: For example, someone said, and I'll let them just kind
- 9:36Speaker 5: of exist on Facebook.
- 9:38Speaker 1: I don't like this on any level.
- 9:39Speaker 5: I would seek to pull my kid or grandkids out
- 9:42Speaker 5: of her class period. Ooh. Someone else said, just try
- 9:47Speaker 5: being a teacher before you comment. I'm not agreeing or
- 9:50Speaker 5: disagreeing with these rules, but if everyone had to work
- 9:53Speaker 5: in a school, they wouldn't say anything because it wouldn't
- 9:56Speaker 5: be shocking in the least bit. And I do think
- 10:00Speaker 5: out of all of the comments, Britta does have kind
- 10:03Speaker 5: of a point here. Britta said, I mean, all generations
- 10:06Speaker 5: have had their own vernacular that adults thought was stupid.
- 10:11Speaker 5: But banning most of these words seems a bit excessive.
- 10:14Speaker 5: A couple of those are not that A couple of these,
- 10:16Speaker 5: excuse me, are not appropriate for school.
- 10:18Speaker 4: However, Oh my.
- 10:19Speaker 2: Gosh, back in the day, yo, mama jokes, Oh they're
- 10:22Speaker 2: flying yeah, home slice.
- 10:25Speaker 4: I'm trying to think of some slice.
- 10:27Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I'm trying to think of some of the
- 10:29Speaker 2: things that we would say that we thought were so cool.
- 10:32Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 10:32Speaker 5: And now I do think there people are taking this
- 10:35Speaker 5: a little too serious. It's just a way for her
- 10:37Speaker 5: to connect with her students, is what it was said
- 10:40Speaker 5: in the story.
- 10:41Speaker 1: There is one thing on here that I will not get.
- 10:44Speaker 1: I do not understand.
- 10:45Speaker 5: And I am someone who speaks in you know, with
- 10:48Speaker 5: slanguage on an everyday basis slanguage, man, I.
- 10:54Speaker 4: Mean you have a little cool I mean, you know,
- 10:55Speaker 4: I got nothing. I got nothing.
- 10:58Speaker 5: The one I will not get I don't understand. I
- 11:01Speaker 5: have no clue where it came from. I will never
- 11:03Speaker 5: ever use. Is skibbety or skibbity toilet? I think is
- 11:09Speaker 5: the full term.
- 11:10Speaker 4: Yes it is.
- 11:11Speaker 1: I don't get that.
- 11:12Speaker 4: It's on YouTube. What is a kid?
- 11:14Speaker 2: It's a skibbity toilet. It'd be like SpongeBob SquarePants. That's
- 11:18Speaker 2: what you type in on YouTube, is skibbety toilet.
- 11:21Speaker 5: It's like a yeah, it's some sort of I'm gonna
- 11:23Speaker 5: have to track this down and get back to you
- 11:25Speaker 5: with a full fledged report.
- 11:26Speaker 2: Yeah, it's yes, skibbity toilet. It's an animation and it's ridiculous.
- 11:30Speaker 2: That's the only one that I really am like, what
- 11:33Speaker 2: are we doing with that one? I will say all
- 11:36Speaker 2: combos of tua and a hawk made the list. Probably
- 11:40Speaker 2: pretty acceptable in a school. I don't know if you
- 11:42Speaker 2: want to be saying that in biology class.
- 11:44Speaker 5: No, definitely not detention. Yeah, go check out this list
- 11:48Speaker 5: and let us know. It's on Big ninety eight point
- 11:50Speaker 5: seven on Facebook. There's plenty of them that I don't
- 11:53Speaker 5: think are like that big of a deal. But some
- 11:54Speaker 5: of these are also just Hey, don't be obnoxious. You
- 11:58Speaker 5: know on here it says animal noise. Well, if you're
- 12:01Speaker 5: joking around, you know, and it's a once or twice thing,
- 12:03Speaker 5: I'm sure it's fine. But if you're obnoxiously doing this
- 12:05Speaker 5: for fifty minutes, I don't blame a teacher telling you
- 12:07Speaker 5: to shut up.
- 12:08Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm bringing back home slice.
- 12:10Speaker 5: I think.
- 12:14Speaker 1: Today's variety big ninety eight point seven.
- 12:15Speaker 2: We are going to get some sunshine today, only a
- 12:17Speaker 2: hive about thirty six. But looking ahead at your forecast
- 12:20Speaker 2: by the weekend, nothing but sunshine and hopefully I have
- 12:22Speaker 2: about sixty.
- 12:23Speaker 5: There is a woman on tik tok who has officially,
- 12:28Speaker 5: and I use this in quotes, build her hobby for
- 12:31Speaker 5: two thousand, seven hundred dollars for her weekly duties.
- 12:36Speaker 1: Take a listen to this. This is great.
- 12:38Speaker 4: There's a week I charge thirty five dollars per load
- 12:40Speaker 4: of laundry.
- 12:41Speaker 6: I do laundry about four times a week, being about
- 12:43Speaker 6: one forty sixty.
- 12:44Speaker 4: Dollars per bathroom per clean, and I usually do go
- 12:47Speaker 4: about two times a week. I kind of go in
- 12:49Speaker 4: into a deep clean that ends up being about two
- 12:51Speaker 4: forty a week.
- 12:52Speaker 3: I charge one hundred dollars to clean all the floors,
- 12:54Speaker 3: includes sweeping, the mopping, and that includes every bedroom.
- 12:58Speaker 5: Now there are some other fees on here, Amanda that
- 13:01Speaker 5: she has charged her hubby, for example, breastfeeding two hundred
- 13:04Speaker 5: dollars a week.
- 13:05Speaker 1: Okay, all right, she sits there, I don't know anything
- 13:10Speaker 1: about that, but.
- 13:11Speaker 4: Mind blowing to me. I kind of love it. Continue.
- 13:15Speaker 5: So basically, this woman named Amber, she looks straight into
- 13:18Speaker 5: the camera and gives a dead pan. Obviously she's joking,
- 13:21Speaker 5: but run down of all of the things that she
- 13:24Speaker 5: does and what she's gonna start charging her hobby. Now
- 13:26Speaker 5: she is a stay at home mom and he obviously
- 13:29Speaker 5: goes to work or whatever, so she's gonna start getting
- 13:31Speaker 5: a paycheck.
- 13:32Speaker 4: And sounds like is the reason behind this?
- 13:34Speaker 2: Is he bashing her or saying like she's not doing
- 13:38Speaker 2: enough and or why does she feel the need to
- 13:41Speaker 2: be addressing what she is doing.
- 13:43Speaker 5: So what she says is this is everything I charge
- 13:47Speaker 5: my husband for stay at home mom services. And while
- 13:50Speaker 5: she's not actually sending him this bill, maybe she should.
- 13:53Speaker 5: It's pretty funny. If he wants to save money, he
- 13:56Speaker 5: can help me do any of these tasks. She also
- 14:00Speaker 5: comments in the video, So maybe have to stay at
- 14:04Speaker 5: home mom life.
- 14:06Speaker 1: She just feeling it maybe a little underappreciated.
- 14:09Speaker 4: I don't know. Oh, and I think I.
- 14:11Speaker 2: Think you don't realize what it is like taking the
- 14:15Speaker 2: kids and doing all of the things and the money
- 14:18Speaker 2: you're saving per se, you know what I mean, as
- 14:20Speaker 2: far as like childcare, whatever it may be. But I'm
- 14:25Speaker 2: just stuck at thirty five dollars for a load of
- 14:27Speaker 2: laundry because that's like.
- 14:28Speaker 4: My thing at all, My that is that's a good rate,
- 14:32Speaker 4: all right?
- 14:32Speaker 5: Is that? What would you charge Nick for some of
- 14:34Speaker 5: the things that are kind of like the your things?
- 14:36Speaker 5: What would you charge?
- 14:37Speaker 6: Do you know?
- 14:39Speaker 2: Honestly, I had never thought about this. I would have
- 14:42Speaker 2: gone so much lower, though I don't think I would
- 14:44Speaker 2: have given myself to every being like a R five
- 14:46Speaker 2: bucks alone, you know what I mean, I would have
- 14:48Speaker 2: gotten like the kid allowance.
- 14:51Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't know, because for us it would be
- 14:55Speaker 5: And now I'm once again the only thing I have
- 14:57Speaker 5: to compare to is pets, but for cats.
- 14:59Speaker 1: So Corey had probably charge like litter box cleanings.
- 15:01Speaker 5: But then I would charge for like dog walking, dog parks,
- 15:05Speaker 5: taking outside type things. She has got to beat with
- 15:07Speaker 5: the litter box cleanings though you only have to do
- 15:09Speaker 5: that like a couple times a month. You gotta walk
- 15:12Speaker 5: your dog like every day. You only clean those once
- 15:15Speaker 5: twenty point once once a week or so, really once
- 15:18Speaker 5: every five days kind of So I don't know three
- 15:20Speaker 5: four times a month. What's the math on that? I
- 15:22Speaker 5: don't know five times. I'll have to ask her. I
- 15:25Speaker 5: just know when the litter shows up in the mail
- 15:28Speaker 5: that it's time for me to do the heavy lifts.
- 15:31Speaker 1: About how that goes? Today's Variety Big ninety eight point.
- 15:38Speaker 2: Seven Sunshine Today I have about thirty six Congratulations again

- 15:45Speaker 2: on the Diamond Days and giveaways, winning one thousand dollars
- 15:48Speaker 2: to a cutting edge gallery of jewelry. And we call
- 15:51Speaker 2: somebody else coming up at ten eleven, but it can't
- 15:53Speaker 2: be you unless you text Diamond to seven oh one
- 15:56Speaker 2: to two eight one ninety eight seven to get registered.
- 15:58Speaker 5: Here's your big reminder. Tax returns are due on April fifteenth.
- 16:03Speaker 5: That means you have about a week or eight days
- 16:06Speaker 5: or whatever. I know, people forget and you put them off,
- 16:09Speaker 5: and you're i'll get it done.
- 16:10Speaker 1: I'll do it.
- 16:11Speaker 5: I'll get it done, and then all of a sudden,
- 16:13Speaker 5: it's April seventh and you have eight days to do them.
- 16:15Speaker 4: You do not want to be late on that.
- 16:17Speaker 2: No, you don't unless you're filing an extension. We did ours,
- 16:20Speaker 2: and I just want to forget about it.
- 16:22Speaker 5: Did they not go well? Corey and I got We
- 16:25Speaker 5: talked about it on the show. I think a week
- 16:27Speaker 5: or so ago, maybe, But we got our return back already,
- 16:29Speaker 5: which I was very, very surprised that it came back
- 16:32Speaker 5: pretty quick.
- 16:32Speaker 1: I think it was like ten days or something. Usually
- 16:35Speaker 1: it's weeks.
- 16:37Speaker 4: Yeah, we don't. We didn't get anything back. I'm still
- 16:39Speaker 4: waiting for that check. Oh you got a mail one?
- 16:42Speaker 4: Huh yeah, yeah, we got it. We got it.
- 16:44Speaker 2: We got to get up on that IRS dot gov
- 16:46Speaker 2: and pay them some money, which I'll never understand because
- 16:51Speaker 2: when are we going off? Here?
- 16:52Speaker 4: Am I about to go off?
- 16:53Speaker 5: Oh?
- 16:53Speaker 4: You can't.
- 16:54Speaker 2: I was almost do a little PSA here today. Here's
- 16:58Speaker 2: a PSA for the government. If you're listening, where's my break?
- 17:04Speaker 2: I'm the American dream.
- 17:06Speaker 4: Two kids, we're paying for childcare, we built a home.
- 17:10Speaker 4: I've got a job. He's got a job.
- 17:14Speaker 2: Why are you taking more money from E than I
- 17:16Speaker 2: need Why do I owe you anything?
- 17:18Speaker 5: Sure, I obviously I don't. I don't understand. But have
- 17:22Speaker 5: you ever done taxes by your like, done them yourself?
- 17:24Speaker 4: Not a chance, No, no way, that's not my not
- 17:28Speaker 4: my jam.
- 17:28Speaker 2: The numbers, and I would do it wrong, and I
- 17:31Speaker 2: would always feel like the I R S. I didn't
- 17:33Speaker 2: do it right, and they're coming after me. It would
- 17:35Speaker 2: be it would give me nightmares, probably okay forever.
- 17:40Speaker 4: Well.
- 17:41Speaker 5: I when I was a you know, single, not married,
- 17:45Speaker 5: just regular guy in his twenties who had been at
- 17:47Speaker 5: the same place for a long, long, long time, taxes
- 17:50Speaker 5: were so easy to do. I basically could just take
- 17:52Speaker 5: a picture of my W two and upload it onto whatever,
- 17:56Speaker 5: and they would, you know, on TurboTax or pick one.
- 17:59Speaker 4: I just do not try.
- 18:00Speaker 5: They oh they would just if they basically do all
- 18:02Speaker 5: of it for you. You almost have to do nothing.
- 18:05Speaker 5: If you're like renting an apartment or a house and
- 18:07Speaker 5: you have had you've worked at the same job in
- 18:10Speaker 5: the same state forever, it is as simple as taking
- 18:13Speaker 5: a picture and basically uploading those But this year I
- 18:16Speaker 5: did have to hire someone just from the two different states.
- 18:19Speaker 5: And this is what blows my mind. Okay, it's my
- 18:22Speaker 5: turn here, Amanda. This is what blows my mind. I
- 18:25Speaker 5: lived in the state of Iowa for nine or ten
- 18:28Speaker 5: months or whatever it was in twenty twenty four, so
- 18:32Speaker 5: there was like two or three months that I didn't
- 18:34Speaker 5: live there. I owed them eleven dollars. Take the state
- 18:38Speaker 5: of Iowa, come get the eleven bucks.
- 18:41Speaker 4: So you got to pay them. You know what, I'll
- 18:42Speaker 4: throw you.
- 18:43Speaker 1: Twenty here's nine extra. Put it towards a school or something.
- 18:46Speaker 1: That's eleven dollars.
- 18:48Speaker 5: What an arbitrary number, But anyway, get your tax is done.
- 18:51Speaker 5: They're doing the fifteenth that that was the whole point
- 18:54Speaker 5: of talking here.
- 18:55Speaker 4: It could have been eleven hundred, so I would be
- 18:58Speaker 4: very happy with eleven. Big ninety eight.
- 19:04Speaker 5: Today's variety, Big ninety eight point seven, kind of a
- 19:06Speaker 5: cool starch of the week.
- 19:07Speaker 2: It'll be sunny, but only have about thirty six bumping
- 19:09Speaker 2: up to fifty and even sixty by Friday.
- 19:13Speaker 5: Have you heard of this fitness influencer, kind of self
- 19:17Speaker 5: styled life coach who's gone viral for his morning routine.
- 19:21Speaker 4: I don't think so.
- 19:22Speaker 5: All right, there's this guy named Ashton Hall who's got
- 19:24Speaker 5: a pretty nuts morning routine. He wakes up at four,
- 19:28Speaker 5: he's got mouth tape. He dunks his face into.
- 19:31Speaker 2: Am I'm sorry, I'm sorry. He wakes up at forty
- 19:33Speaker 2: is what's mouth tape?
- 19:35Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 19:36Speaker 5: I'm sure it prevents him from like snoring or something. Okay,
- 19:39Speaker 5: keeps him for makes him breathe through his nose, I believe.
- 19:42Speaker 4: Okay.
- 19:42Speaker 5: He also dunks his face into a bowl of Saratoga
- 19:46Speaker 5: ice cold water, which just sounds rich interesting, And I
- 19:51Speaker 5: did look this up. It's like forty something dollars for
- 19:53Speaker 5: a twelve pack or whatever. And that's of the plastic bottles,
- 19:56Speaker 5: not even the ice bottles. So this is the one
- 20:01Speaker 5: that a lot of people have been having fun with here.
- 20:03Speaker 5: He also uses banana peel scrubs and rubs them on
- 20:08Speaker 5: his face as like a skincare kind of thing.
- 20:12Speaker 4: Just normal bananas, or he creates a.
- 20:15Speaker 5: Straw or banana, just takes the banana, but I don't
- 20:17Speaker 5: know if he throws it away, eats it, whatever, and
- 20:19Speaker 5: uses the peel.
- 20:20Speaker 2: I don't think I've ever heard of the banana scrub
- 20:22Speaker 2: with Yeah, me either.
- 20:24Speaker 5: I was kind of curious. Have you ever had heard
- 20:26Speaker 5: of any kind of skin care hack? I heard of
- 20:30Speaker 5: one when I was younger to get rid of, like
- 20:33Speaker 5: a ZiT or something you would use toothpaste.
- 20:36Speaker 4: I have heard that.
- 20:38Speaker 2: I mean I grew up obviously with like the cucumbers
- 20:40Speaker 2: helping with your eyes. That still feels like it's kind
- 20:43Speaker 2: of a thing.
- 20:43Speaker 5: What is that?
- 20:44Speaker 2: I don't even help with the bags under your eyes?
- 20:47Speaker 2: The cooling, I don't. I don't know, or does it
- 20:50Speaker 2: just look cool?
- 20:51Speaker 4: Not a clue.
- 20:52Speaker 2: Sure, I know a lot of people are doing like
- 20:54Speaker 2: beef tallow. That's kind of a hot new thing. I
- 20:57Speaker 2: don't think I'm putting that on your face. I what
- 21:00Speaker 2: is bee tallow?
- 21:01Speaker 4: Beef tallow is like the fat.
- 21:04Speaker 5: Okay of like like animal fat. I've never heard of that.
- 21:09Speaker 5: I'm gonna have to do some YouTube and on that
- 21:11Speaker 5: one and check it out.
- 21:12Speaker 2: But yeah, bananas, it seems easy enough. But I don't
- 21:16Speaker 2: I feel like that would feel gross. I don't know
- 21:18Speaker 2: how much I like that.
- 21:19Speaker 4: I guess that texture wouldn't bother me because it is soft.
- 21:22Speaker 1: Yeah, that's true.
- 21:23Speaker 5: Yeah, I've also heard of like crushing up advil or
- 21:27Speaker 5: something and putting that on a ZiT. I've heard of what. Yeah,
- 21:30Speaker 5: I've heard of you could put like honey or something
- 21:33Speaker 5: on a sit as well. There are a lot of
- 21:35Speaker 5: strange skin haacks out there.
- 21:36Speaker 4: I kind of feel like we should stay away from
- 21:38Speaker 4: some of these.
- 21:40Speaker 1: I think it might be worth a shot one day.
- 21:42Speaker 5: Why not next time I get a ZiT, I'll try
- 21:44Speaker 5: the old crushed up advill and let you know how go.
- 21:46Speaker 1: Or maybe it's Thailand. No, I can't remember.
- 21:48Speaker 2: So are people losing their minds over the banana thing?
- 21:52Speaker 2: Or what about his routine?
- 21:53Speaker 5: Well, so I have not seen any results of said
- 21:57Speaker 5: banana peel, but there are a bunch of people making
- 21:59Speaker 5: kind of goofy videos on YouTube and TikTok trying this.
- 22:03Speaker 5: So I am curious. Would you be willing to do
- 22:06Speaker 5: this for one week with me? I did the thing
- 22:09Speaker 5: where you wake up and you chug water right away
- 22:11Speaker 5: for a week, just to see how it would feel.
- 22:13Speaker 1: Do you want to attempt to do this with me?
- 22:15Speaker 4: I think I'm probably good.
- 22:16Speaker 1: You're good on that.
- 22:17Speaker 4: I think I think I'm good on that, but you
- 22:20Speaker 4: let me know how it goes.
- 22:22Speaker 2: I just I just don't want to do anything that's
- 22:24Speaker 2: going to make me break out, like what I got
- 22:26Speaker 2: going on here, Like doing nothing is pretty good.
- 22:29Speaker 5: That's about what I'm doing as well. Yeah, let me
- 22:31Speaker 5: know seven oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven.
- 22:33Speaker 5: Do you have any kind of like skincare hack or
- 22:36Speaker 5: a weird thing you used to get rid of zits?
- 22:38Speaker 5: I did the tooth based one and all those other
- 22:40Speaker 5: ones I heard in high school, which I just thought
- 22:43Speaker 5: were so strange, But hey, maybe they work.
- 22:45Speaker 4: I grew up using Proactive.
- 22:48Speaker 1: That was my school. Today's rianty Big ninety eight point seven.
- 22:55Speaker 4: Sunshine Today, Hi thirty six.
- 22:57Speaker 2: Once we get through that tomorrow gonna be fifty even
- 22:59Speaker 2: sixty by Friday.
- 23:02Speaker 4: Good, all right, I have some good news for you
- 23:05Speaker 4: here today.
- 23:05Speaker 1: This is such an adorable story.
- 23:07Speaker 5: It's about a young boy who was celebrating his eighth
- 23:12Speaker 5: birthday while at the park when a group of strangers
- 23:16Speaker 5: walked up and asked if they could join in on
- 23:19Speaker 5: singing a happy birthday.
- 23:21Speaker 6: Take a listen, Happy birthday to you, Happy birthday, Happy birthday, Jays,
- 23:35Speaker 6: Happy birthday to you.
- 23:39Speaker 5: Now. What makes this so cute, at least in my
- 23:41Speaker 5: humble opinion, is it was three kids and one adult
- 23:46Speaker 5: who joined in, And the reason they joined in is sadly,
- 23:49Speaker 5: it just didn't seem like there were a ton of
- 23:50Speaker 5: people there to sing to him. Oh so very very
- 23:53Speaker 5: kind and very sweet and very nice of these people
- 23:56Speaker 5: to do. And in the video he just gets the
- 23:58Speaker 5: biggest smile on his face. He's just having the time
- 24:01Speaker 5: of his life and it is just very very sweet
- 24:03Speaker 5: to see.
- 24:04Speaker 1: So pretty cool.
- 24:04Speaker 4: Love that that is awesome.
- 24:05Speaker 2: Is that why all of a sudden you just hear
- 24:07Speaker 2: the one person say the name because the strangers are like, uh,
- 24:11Speaker 2: whatever your name is, it's still super adorable.
- 24:14Speaker 5: Yeah, they forgot to do a little prep work before
- 24:16Speaker 5: the song, so but either way, very very cool. And
- 24:19Speaker 5: I just love that the kids are the ones who
- 24:20Speaker 5: walked up to ask. It wasn't even like the adult
- 24:23Speaker 5: in the video as the kids who were like, can
- 24:24Speaker 5: we sing too? And it was just very cute. So
- 24:27Speaker 5: the world's full of nice people. If you can't find one,
- 24:29Speaker 5: you gotta be one. We have Justin Bieber with Chance
- 24:32Speaker 5: the Rapper on right now for you here on Big
- 24:34Speaker 5: ninety eight point seven.
