- 0:00So welcome back to after Maghrib.
- 0:03If this is your first time here, make sure you subscribe to the
- 0:05podcast. Make sure you're tuning in every
- 0:07week. This is a heavy time for the on
- 0:09my generally. So we know after Shaharam Mavan,
- 0:12it's now the opportunity to take a note of what we've learned
- 0:15during the holy month of Alas, panel to Allah, the month of
- 0:18Shahar Al Mahvan and move forward in our communities to
- 0:21make the world a better place. Preparing for the Imam of our
- 0:24time, Imam Sahib also was Zaman Bron.
- 0:26Sisters, firstly, I'd like to wish you an Eid Mubarak.
- 0:29On behalf of the whole aftermath of team, we pray all your Amal,
- 0:32your Hajjat are accepted and granted throughout the holy
- 0:35month and we pray to prosper as a community in the coming months
- 0:38and of course, as we get closer to the blessed season of Hajj
- 0:43and then of course, the Qadir and Muharram as well.
- 0:46So we've got a busy few months to come.
- 0:49Today, Insha'allah, I am joined by, I would argue, probably the
- 0:53best looking Sayed in London, said Ali.
- 0:56Rather is Salaam. Alaikum Salaam or rahna.
- 1:09How are you? Al Hamdallah, that was too kind
- 1:11of. Why did she say yeah, Ali?
- 1:16Ali is Ali. Wow.
- 1:18Is that a genuine question or? Yeah, OK, but before I get to
- 1:22the answer, can I just say I'm not the best I can say it out
- 1:25there? That's number one.
- 1:26Let's just clarify. And definitely.
- 1:29And if you say I am, they say Inshallah, a brother, a believer
- 1:32is the reflection in the mirror of his brother.
- 1:34Wow, I'm blushing have you? I'm blushing.
- 1:39Have you and. To all our listeners of views
- 1:43around the world, I know this idea was a bit different, heavy
- 1:46for many of us. Yeah, for many it still is.
- 1:48And yeah, it's been a different, different last.
- 1:53Few days it has, it has, it has. And I look, I know at the, at
- 1:56the moment tensions are high as well, not just on a global
- 2:00level, but also on kind of a domestic level as well.
- 2:03I think a couple of things, if if I can say thoughts I've had
- 2:06on the last two or three days, there's been a lot of noise on
- 2:10different group chats. And if you know, you know, like
- 2:14there's some group chats in the community where people are
- 2:17coming up with ideas. I think everyone has a good
- 2:20intention generally to work for the betterment of the community.
- 2:23And a lot of these conversations are rooted in finding ways to
- 2:28offer security for our Massajid and at the same time make sure
- 2:33that there's no collaboration with anyone who wishes I'll on
- 2:36the Shia of Amira Mahmanin Alayhi Salaam or generally the
- 2:39Muslim Omar. I think a couple of things is
- 2:43when we're when we're, we know we're living in a difficult
- 2:46time, it's so important to carry ourselves with the Akhlaq
- 2:50expected or follows the Atul beta Alayam Saddam.
- 2:53So that means that when you're engaging in these conversations,
- 2:56you approach people with respect.
- 2:58If you're talking about politics, you do your research.
- 3:00If you're talking about Islam, you do your research.
- 3:02And then ultimately you carry yourselves with humility.
- 3:05Always expect that the person you're speaking to already knows
- 3:07what you're going to say. And I think that's so important
- 3:10for all of us to be aware of. And ultimately, if our class and
- 3:16our sincerity is there, as a Western Shiite community, we
- 3:20will be guided and we'll be protected.
- 3:23So all of this sounds a bit ambiguous at the moment, but I
- 3:26think mainly it's just some reflections I've had after 8.
- 3:29That's a beautiful reflection and a good reminder because
- 3:31surprisingly today at work, during work, I went to a coffee
- 3:35shop. Small break got me, got myself a
- 3:37latte and the, the barista, barista over the he was asking
- 3:43me, oh, where you from this first time?
- 3:44I've been there for many years. Iraq was like, where you from?
- 3:46I was like from Iraq. It was like, oh, what's the
- 3:48update with the Middle East and things like this?
- 3:50And I gave them a bit of an update of the reality on the
- 3:53ground, not what they see or hear on television here in the
- 3:56UK. And it just reminded me now,
- 3:58like I tried to approach it from the best manner possible because
- 4:02I, I ultimately told them I'm not just Muslim, I'm a Shia
- 4:04Muslim. So this affects me in many
- 4:06different ways. So the way we interact, the way
- 4:09we speak, the way we act with people who are not Muslim at the
- 4:12moment, of course when their eyes are all on us, people like
- 4:15me and you and others who who who share our beautiful Med hub,
- 4:19we need to present the Alan Bait in the best manner.
- 4:22Possible. And I think that there's a lot
- 4:24of. There's a lot of sincere
- 4:26brothers and sisters who are, who are Sunni who are observing
- 4:30this from different lenses, one from a theological lens, which
- 4:35makes sense. Understanding why the Shiite do
- 4:37this. Why do they, why do they do what
- 4:40they do, not just on a global level, but also why did the
- 4:44Shiite here react the way they react?
- 4:46And then I think also from a social level, how we are aiming
- 4:50to conduct our behaviour and ourselves at times like this.
- 4:54So it's on us, like you said, yeah, the burdens on us, the
- 4:57responsibilities on us. There's so many a hadith about
- 5:00the condition of the Shia at the time of the coming of the Imam.
- 5:03If we believe that time is near, which we all do and we all
- 5:05should do, then we should be consciously aware that we want
- 5:08to be of the Shia, that the Imam doesn't just meet, but also the
- 5:14Imam expects to join him and and anticipates for as well.
- 5:18Like we want the Imam to want us, if that makes sense.
- 5:23And I know we've talked a lot about the awaited Imam and how
- 5:27we've acted in the absence of the Imam in the last few weeks.
- 5:31And now it's crunch time. We have to pull our socks up.
- 5:34So below are the beautiful, beautiful point to mention about
- 5:36the Imam Hastens reappearance. And you know what?
- 5:39It's been amazing in the last few weeks.
- 5:41I think every single day, somehow we've referenced Imam
- 5:44and Mehra. We always should.
- 5:45We always should. We always should.
- 5:47More than we usually do, which is good, but then Charlotte will
- 5:49keep that up and that we have to build matter for our the amount
- 5:52of our time. Now having said all this, we
- 5:54have some clips ready in Shala that we let's be willing to be
- 5:58reacting to. I've got a feeling what they may
- 6:02be. I don't know if you have a gist
- 6:05of what we may see. I actually have no idea.
- 6:08I haven't I I know that you guys have been planning clips but I I
- 6:11have the 0. Say the mushala needs to
- 6:13surprise us. OK, let's do it.
- 6:15Say it mushala. We're already in Shala.
- 6:18Allah. The.
- 6:49Who's the Roy? ET al tafit imduya Ali U al
- 7:04tafit. Wajafu minal khali kulu Amin
- 7:22wahadratu kaisa e-mail umati bhai kulu Amin what Allah hubby
- 7:42saidina Muhammad in sallallahu alayhi wasalama rumar Doon kulu
- 7:47I am in washa Abu mastro fi anilahi amani allahu Marfa esai
- 7:52fowel high fowl Cutler minbila dil aailamin allahu master
- 8:00auratina. Allah al Saba hana Saba hasolin
- 8:10well sinatena elsina kirin Kirin Allah.
- 8:43Powerful this was for those. Just to give some context, this
- 8:48was the from a Sheikh in a mosque in Egypt with the
- 8:56presence of the president of Egypt, who is known as Sisi.
- 9:00And this this clip in particular has gone viral in the Middle
- 9:05East, by the way, for, for for good reasons and for some
- 9:09obvious reasons by the people in the region.
- 9:11So 1 is OK. For example, look, Masar is
- 9:14calling out Wasila in the name of Fatwon Zarah Sallallahu
- 9:17Alaihi. On the other hand, you have
- 9:22people in the Middle East who are saying look Masar has become
- 9:24Shia Muslim are calling out to others other than a loss of
- 9:29Hanover to Allah. But the reality is just to
- 9:31translate above it for you is that he speaks about the current
- 9:36situation in the region. Then he reminds the congregation
- 9:41of the words of Rasulallah sallallahu alaihi on the day of
- 9:44Radir when he gave the Raya the flag to the line of Allah that
- 9:47he references Imam Ali Ibn Ali Ali is Salaam and and then he
- 9:52goes on to pray for Egypt, the people in the region, the lands,
- 9:56the army, the generals. And he says Allahu abhi Fatima
- 10:01Abiha Allah by Fatima Zahrah and her father Rasul Allah by
- 10:07Allahabadiha by Imam Ali, her husband and her sons.
- 10:10Al Hassan al Hussein was suddenly stole that Afiha and
- 10:14the secrets that lie within her. So he's he's he's he's he's
- 10:18basically making do our using the Ark of Salaam and people are
- 10:25going crazy. What do you think about that
- 10:29beautiful for us. This is something normal.
- 10:31But for someone who says, for example, OK, look now muscle is
- 10:34known as a predominantly Sunni. The Azhar is in Egypt.
- 10:40He didn't say anything which is UN Islamic.
- 10:42Well, that's my point. Anything.
- 10:44If anything he did was not even must have.
- 10:47I feel what is wajib and that is to show not even respect and
- 10:52love towards the alibi musalam, but it's wajib for us to to
- 10:57speak up against depression. And also I believe and I don't
- 11:01know if this is right. Look, it's why did when the Holy
- 11:04Prophet says to follow the Quran in the other debate, that's
- 11:06that's an instruction Holy Prophet's giving us and that
- 11:10includes his daughter and of course his the other debate is
- 11:13his his successor and his grandchildren as well.
- 11:16Yeah. So it's, you know, credit to
- 11:18him. Why Shallah?
- 11:20I presume he's a chef and that's how.
- 11:22I believe so. I would imagine so, right.
- 11:24And beyond that as well, or if not a teacher, then perhaps at
- 11:28least a graduate. And I'm sure he's probably a
- 11:30learner scholar as well. But this is good.
- 11:33And I think at times like this, the Muslim ummah needs to to be
- 11:37united under the Quran and the after debate, because we can
- 11:41disagree on politics. We can disagree on on like kind
- 11:46of different things happening in the world today, but what we
- 11:49shouldn't disagree on is what we know the Holy Prophet has taught
- 11:53us and left behind. So yeah, I love that.
- 11:56I love that clip. Marshall Last.
- 11:58Sent And just to add one last point to this, like my
- 12:01observation from the recent comments and engagement that's
- 12:05happening online is that people don't really have an an issue
- 12:08with the Ehalil Bates. They have an issue of the fear
- 12:12that the people of Egypt are going to become Shia, which is
- 12:15so silly. So silly.
- 12:17Yeah. And if if mentioning the other
- 12:19debate makes you Shiite, 99% of all Muslims are Shiite at this
- 12:24rate. Yes or no?
- 12:25I would love look. To praise them.
- 12:27Firstly, I think they do have an issue with mentioning the other
- 12:30debate. Otherwise they wouldn't they
- 12:32wouldn't get they wouldn't quiver in their boots.
- 12:34The enemies, I think, because like, how can you have an issue
- 12:38with mentioning the other debate?
- 12:39These are they're not even they're not even here today.
- 12:42We're talking about names of, of the Olia Allah, the Mas, I mean
- 12:46those infallibles who are not present physically with us
- 12:50today. So how can you get so scared?
- 12:52These people are scared of the identity of being lovers of the
- 12:56other debate. Yeah, you know, and that just
- 12:57shows, you know, we how often do we hear in hadith that the one
- 13:02who loves Imam Ali and the one who hates Imam Ali and and and
- 13:05salvation is guaranteed for the lovers of minamot manin and the
- 13:09Hellfire is guaranteed for the ones who hate him.
- 13:10Middlemark money. He himself says it.
- 13:12The ones who love me extravagantly or hate me
- 13:15extravagantly will perish, right.
- 13:17And the same will say the fact say the Fatima is Hama Khan is
- 13:21unmatched Subhanallah. So it's, it's, it's just crazy
- 13:25to imagine that people would have an.
- 13:26Issue and just as a reminder. People are scared of what the
- 13:29Shia are, who we are, what we bring and what what we what we
- 13:32have in our hearts and. Just to understand how Makam,
- 13:37she's the daughter of who? The greatest man to ever walk
- 13:40this earth. She's the wife of who?
- 13:43Amir Al Mamanina Ali, the mother of who?
- 13:46Says Shabab has. Say the Shabab.
- 13:48And beyond that said, even if you take as please understand
- 13:53where we come from, take away all of these relations, she can
- 13:57say that it doesn't take anything away from her.
- 14:00If anything, if anything, they are the sons of Fatima.
- 14:04They are the husband of they are the father of Fatima.
- 14:06Do you know what I mean? So that in itself is an
- 14:08adornment to the. All right, let's see what we're
- 14:13going to get. Yeah.
- 14:14Let's go. Let's go.
- 14:15Let's go. We're going to get into it.
- 14:16You know, we have a sticker, guys, on WhatsApp here.
- 14:18It's a sticker where we say said we get that.
- 14:22Yoshiya. Yeah.
- 14:23I'm holding myself every. Time saying, you know, today.
- 14:26What did I say? Oh, much.
- 14:28Listen to this. Yeah, today, guys, listen to
- 14:30this. I asked, said Ali.
- 14:32I was like, I was like, can you help me with this video because
- 14:35we're editing a reel. Yeah.
- 14:36I was like, let me know if you need help, you know?
- 14:38He said Helman Nelson. Helman Nelson.
- 14:42Yes, as I said everything I was like let me know if you need
- 14:45help with the other thing is and in.
- 14:47My life revolves around them. I can't help and I remember
- 14:51them. I learned from them, I benefit
- 14:53from them and told us very. As we all should.
- 14:55We all. And if you don't, you're missing
- 14:57out. This is why you're honored as
- 14:59the grandson of. All.
- 15:02Right, but let's go. Next clip saying that.
- 15:14Allah, Allah. Allah.
- 15:42Oh my God. May Allah have mercy on her
- 15:44soul. I mean, I mean, yeah, that one
- 15:47really, really, really, really shook my core.
- 15:51I saw that on I saw that on Instagram a few days ago.
- 15:55And this is the first time I'm watching it since and every time
- 16:00I and it's been on my mind a lot and I keep wanting to rewatch it
- 16:06back on and this is the first time I've seen it since
- 16:08Subhanallah Villa reward her and elevate her to the highest ranks
- 16:12because she has a makan that she is Shahida.
- 16:16And you know, that's something which is and can I just say that
- 16:20that I don't know why I can't articulate it, but that video
- 16:25strengthens my Iman. I don't know how I don't know
- 16:29what it is like. You know, it's not a miracle.
- 16:31We're witnessing. We're witnessing something
- 16:33tragic. May Allah curse the oppressors,
- 16:36and may Allah grant victory to those who are standing up to the
- 16:39oppressors. And may Allah always ensure that
- 16:43the crimes of such people are never forgotten, and that the
- 16:47legacy of the shohada and of those who are sincere in their
- 16:52approach towards defending humanity lives on forever.
- 16:57And this lady included. My Allah, reward her.
- 17:00I wish we knew her name so we could do Fatah, but I think
- 17:03either way we should do a Fatah for her soul and all those who
- 17:06have lost their lives. She was this sister in Iran was
- 17:20live streaming right if I'm not mistaken.
- 17:23I don't think she was live streaming.
- 17:25I think if I'm not mistaken, her phone was found and when they
- 17:28went through the footage this was released from, that's crazy.
- 17:32And you know, it's what's what's as tragic as it is, it's
- 17:37beautiful. It is because you see somebody
- 17:39during air strikes in the middle of war calling out you're Allah.
- 17:46They're saying she's saying you're Allah and she says her
- 17:49Shahada Mashad Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah.
- 17:53And she calls that yeah, yeah, as soon as she.
- 17:58Last thinks she's. Allah, Allah, Muhammad, Ali
- 18:01Muhammad she attention. She's brought back to her Lord
- 18:04Subhan Allah and. For those people out there who
- 18:07say the the the Shia in Iran are not even Muslim, listen to our
- 18:13final words there. You go there you go and the, the
- 18:17the in a life and death situation, the truth comes out
- 18:21your true colour show and in her true colours showed us that her
- 18:26her Lord, her. The first thing she says she
- 18:28utters is there's no God but a last panel to Allah and there's
- 18:31no messenger who completes the Deen like Muhammad Rasulullah
- 18:35sallallahu alaihi waali. And then she calls out towards
- 18:38the other debate, Ayama Salaam. And I think that's beautiful.
- 18:42You know, I think we should all take a lesson from Mark of.
- 18:44Course, of course. Yeah, it is tragic.
- 18:46That's. Happening.
- 18:47That is crazy. What's continuing to happen and
- 18:50all the affliction and the pain and the suffering.
- 18:53And I, I remember today I was reading today's, we're filming
- 18:56on Tuesday, releasing in two days.
- 18:59So things may change in the region.
- 19:03It doesn't matter if things change man, that damage has been
- 19:06done. I just wanted to highlight what
- 19:08is happening over the last few days in terms of what they're
- 19:11living in Iran, that, you know, between the hospitals being
- 19:14struck, schools being struck, homes being struck.
- 19:17We're not just talking about military installations and.
- 19:20Orphanages like what sort of people do that's.
- 19:22Being destroyed. And we've been seeing this for
- 19:25years. But anyway.
- 19:26Yet their faith only increases. So you know, people when they're
- 19:29facing desperation and their life is in danger, they run
- 19:33away. You know, they choose to come
- 19:34out on the road every day. And they don't just come out on
- 19:37the road and wave flags. No, bro, they make the art, they
- 19:40race, they they extend their hands to Allah Spanamatala.
- 19:43They speak with the amount of their time.
- 19:45They speak to Sahab al Asli and Zaman.
- 19:47Who does that? Who does that?
- 19:49And bro, there was a clip I saw where there was like thousands
- 19:54of people in one square in Iran and there's the whole of Iran is
- 19:57out by the way. But just in this particular clip
- 20:00I'm going to reference, there was air strikes happening.
- 20:03No one flinching and they're all doing during the air strikes.
- 20:12This is not something normal. These are people with Iman
- 20:15faith, belief, Yapin and the Charla Velskala Sapana was Allah
- 20:19to give them. Victory and this is all proof
- 20:21that the Shia bro they don't bow to none other than a lot
- 20:27Honestly much honestly say much the next clip Habibi.
- 20:32Much the foods downstairs can you grab it and men prayed
- 20:37separately. That's how they do it in
- 20:38mosques. Is your problem with Islamic
- 20:41standard religious practice? Well, I, I don't like women
- 20:43being second class citizens, no. So you don't like it in Orthodox
- 20:45Jewish churches either? Synagogues.
- 20:47Well, that's not the way that I conduct myself.
- 20:49If you obviously, obviously people are free to to practice
- 20:54their religion how they wish in our country.
- 20:56But should we be celebrating segregation?
- 20:59No, absolutely not. That is fundamentally anti
- 21:01British, not segregation. Let me ask you a question.
- 21:03Why is it segregation? Because the men and women were
- 21:06in different. Parts of Trafalgar Square, the
- 21:08women at that event chose to attend.
- 21:10They chose where to stand. Are you saying that British
- 21:13Muslim women can't be trusted to make their own decisions about
- 21:16how they practice their faith? I, I think segregated events are
- 21:20not to be encouraged. I want men and women to be on
- 21:23equal footing in our country. Why is the principle only
- 21:25activated when it's about Muslims?
- 21:28It's not. It's not.
- 21:29I do not, I do not support Lewis, I do not support the
- 21:33segregation of men and women. So let's imagine public spaces,
- 21:36whether that is Christian, Jewish, Hindu, Sikh or Muslim.
- 21:40Is it a very British value to tell people?
- 21:42How to conduct their own religion?
- 21:43We're allowed, we're allowed. We're all in, allowed our own
- 21:45opinion. But you're saying that there is.
- 21:47Of course you are. My, my, my, my, my view is that
- 21:51a fundamental British value is that men and women live in on
- 21:56equal footing in our country. Oh, I.
- 21:58Don't know, I've got SL nil and is that all of it?
- 22:02Just remember that prayer with Ali was greater than food with
- 22:07Maui. Beautiful said.
- 22:09Your food is here. Is it recording?
- 22:17I have a lot of views on that, on that Tory MP.
- 22:20First up, there's hypocrisy, incredible levels of hypocrisy
- 22:26there. Who are you to talk about kind
- 22:29of the state of Muslim prayer and also segregation when we
- 22:34grew up in primary schools in this country where boys and
- 22:37girls sing hymns separately? I grew up in AI, went to a a
- 22:41primary school where boys and girls would read Christian hymns
- 22:45separately. Firstly, is that not British
- 22:49values? I mean, and why is that British
- 22:51values and for example, public prayer is not.
- 22:53Secondly, he's talking about equality.
- 22:56I don't see any lack of equality when Muslim men and women are
- 23:00praying, but praying in separate spaces.
- 23:03We're not talking about rights in prayer, right?
- 23:07And even then, who are you to know about, you know,
- 23:10jurisprudential rights between men and women in in prayer in
- 23:13Islam? And finally, my final thought on
- 23:16this is the UK has some nerve. I swear like leaders in the UK
- 23:23have nerve, bro. There are.
- 23:26He's talking about Trafalgar Square.
- 23:28You go to Trafalgar Square today, what do you see?
- 23:31You see homeless people and drug addicts who are soaked in
- 23:34alcohol and urine, who are sleeping on the streets.
- 23:38And the leaders don't care about this epidemic which needs to be
- 23:42addressed and the human dignity being lost.
- 23:45And these are innocent human beings and people who have in
- 23:48many cases served our country, paid taxes given back to society
- 23:52and who have been neglected by the system.
- 23:54And you neglect them on the street and but you and you walk
- 23:58past them. You don't even bat an eyelid
- 24:00when you walk past them. But when you have a Muslim man
- 24:03praying, like I saw a picture of a Muslim man praying and they
- 24:06had an issue with that, or you see Muslim men and women praying
- 24:08and they're segregated and praying in separate spaces as
- 24:11per their religious beliefs, you have a problem with that.
- 24:13But you look at the state of British streets today, you have
- 24:16no issue. Like try going out in any town
- 24:19centre past 10:00 PM. You'll see drunkards, you'll see
- 24:22fighting, you'll see harassment, you'll see all sorts of like
- 24:27vile and despicable levels of mannerisms and and and
- 24:32behaviour. But this is a problem for
- 24:35leadership. Good riddance to the Tories.
- 24:37Like get out of this place man. Obviously there's a reason no
- 24:39one wanted you in government anymore.
- 24:42And those were the worst 14 years of our lives, honestly.
- 24:45And we're we're done with you. And to be honest, without trying
- 24:48to get political, but you know, we don't need their
- 24:51representation and. It's good.
- 24:53It's good that you highlight it. I, I don't have much to share,
- 24:55but I will just say like when it comes to the Tories, the
- 24:57Conservative Party, they have a long history of them fighting
- 25:01anything got to do with slum 100% Boris Johnson when he was
- 25:05Prime Minister he's talking about.
- 25:06From the beginning. Women looking like letter boxes.
- 25:09I don't know if you remember bank robbers, bank robbers or
- 25:11things like this. And I like to the extent of
- 25:13this. And they got a problem with our
- 25:15sisters praying in a public space.
- 25:17The problem, by the way, is not with Salah or them praying
- 25:19behind the men. It's just that Muslims are on
- 25:22the street. They're threat, they can't take
- 25:23it. It's not even just that say it's
- 25:24because it's popularized and it's, it's, it's, it's popular
- 25:29now to dislike Muslims. It's popular now to try and pick
- 25:32on Muslims because of the rise of reform and nationalism and
- 25:35fascism across the Western world right now.
- 25:38Like I saw something yesterday, over 1300 councillors were
- 25:42elected in France who represent the the nationalist party or the
- 25:45far right party. And the new mayor in Paris, I
- 25:49believe said that the city will never fall to far right
- 25:52politics. Great love to hear it.
- 25:54Fantastic. But there's obviously an issue
- 25:56across the Western world right now led by certain key leaders
- 25:59in the world who are are pushing for nationalist ideologies and
- 26:03fascist ideologies. So it's popular now to be people
- 26:07who are racist and you know who, who try and victimise and
- 26:12marginalised Muslims. It's just how, it's how it is.
- 26:15This is the state of the world. Ultimately it's because they
- 26:17they can't find they, they, they want to victimise something and
- 26:22they want to victimise a group of people who are easy targets.
- 26:25Yeah, I don't remember. It was actually the Conservative
- 26:27Party when they were in power when the genocide, well the
- 26:29genocide still taking place, but it was them who wanted to stop
- 26:33the people who they used to call Islamists from run running the
- 26:37streets and destroying the streets of London when they were
- 26:39protesting against the genocide happening in Russia.
- 26:42Have so many things to say like. There's so much under the Tory.
- 26:44Party. The London riots were there, if
- 26:46I'm not mistaken, because that was after 20/10/2010, right?
- 26:51You had Prevent, Prevent strategy led by David Cameron
- 26:54and the Tory party. Yeah.
- 26:56You had, of course, the like certain terror attacks which
- 27:00happened by people who did it so-called in the name of Islam,
- 27:04which then obviously led to the marginalization of Muslims in
- 27:06the UK, not to mention Libya, Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq, Gaza,
- 27:13Yemen and now of course what we're seeing now.
- 27:16But that's obviously after the Tory party.
- 27:17So I've named at least six countries, six countries where
- 27:21UK foreign intervention has played a detrimental role, to
- 27:26put it politely, if not led to the loss of 10s of thousands of
- 27:30Muslim lives, if millions. Yeah, I mean under the Tories
- 27:34especially, at least at least 10s of thousands under their
- 27:38watch. But yeah, it is what it is man.
- 27:42Yeah, it's our responsibility to engage though, but whatever,
- 27:47that's a different conversation. Oh, where they go?
- 27:50Yeah, I was going to have the note.
- 27:51Shall I drop? No, I won't drop it, but yeah.
- 27:54What is the first thing you're going to do when you get to
- 27:56Jenna? I'm a party with Muhammad.
- 28:03We love a party and so. We've been giving it up in the
- 28:05Dunya so that we can have it in the Akira.
- 28:08Akira and I want to party with the messenger of the law, and
- 28:11it's the harbor. I read that brother.
- 28:14That's what it's about. Sacrifice now so that we can
- 28:18party later. I'm going to run around, bro.
- 28:21I'm just going to scream a little.
- 28:25So I'm a major in geology right now, and one of the most
- 28:28fascinating things that I wanna see is see the entirety of the
- 28:33creation of Earth and every single small minutia with the
- 28:37way that mountains were built, the way the different
- 28:39supercontinents moved around. And I wanna see that all in real
- 28:42time, inshallah. Go see my palace with my wife.
- 28:47Take you about 40 years to get around that, man.
- 28:50Can't wait. I'm seeking a lost face.
- 28:53That's the first thing I'm doing.
- 28:54You all want to see a lost face? Yeah.
- 28:56There's nothing else you want. Oh man, relax, relax and say
- 29:04Alhamdulillah. Very good question, Jeff.
- 29:07I'm going to stretch. I'm.
- 29:09Going to stretch out a little bit and sit on that couch and
- 29:11just recline and maybe ask for some grapes and a drink of the
- 29:17halal Jenna wine inshallah. Pray for my brothers and
- 29:20sisters. In Jenna, you're going to be
- 29:22praying or you're going to be enjoying.
- 29:23We're going to be praying for them to be with me.
- 29:25Allah, may Allah make it possible inshallah me.
- 29:28I'm going straight into Saint George bro.
- 29:30Be thankful that I can't believe it.
- 29:32Pray for my non-muslim family. If they are still non-muslim by
- 29:36the time I get there, I shallah. I read that.
- 29:39I read that Beautiful. I like that beautiful that only
- 29:41that one guy is a bit baffled in it.
- 29:44I'm a seek. No, no, no, no.
- 29:45I'm a seek. Allah space bro.
- 29:48Pai Muhammad, bro. Yeah, come on, man 100% bro Ali
- 29:53Salaam. Of course you want to do
- 29:57everything. I.
- 29:57Can't wait, genuinely to be in the presence of Rasul Allah,
- 30:04Muhammad sallallahu Alayhiwal and Inshallah in the presence of
- 30:07the Alabait, of course. Even just a glimpse, just a bit
- 30:11of their Noor, their presence. You know that that.
- 30:14Is exciting, yeah. That feeling and, you know, we
- 30:16have hadith, hadith that the Shia Imam Ali has Saddam will be
- 30:21there beside the Ali bait, beside the Prophet as pulpits of
- 30:24Noor. Wow.
- 30:25Like it's inshallah. Inshallah we are considered.
- 30:28Yeah. What was your favorite response?
- 30:31The favorite one? The one who he said I would pray
- 30:35for my non-muslim parents, Destin non-muslim.
- 30:38Subhanallah, I like that. Yeah, because for someone like
- 30:42that as a Reaver is tough for you, man stuff, you know, you
- 30:45aren't hack. You know I lost the Creator.
- 30:47You know, there's heaven and hell, there's accountability,
- 30:49there's Hasab and Qatar, but your parents are not just on it.
- 30:52And you want the best for them. That's your mother, that's your
- 30:54father, that's your brother, that's your sister, Charlotte.
- 30:57May Allah grant them guidance. I mean, I mean Charlotte and
- 31:00also I like that the first thing he said is I'm going to sujood
- 31:03like that's nice, man. Like I've always said this on
- 31:06the podcast, that gender for me is like the what is bliss for a
- 31:13believer is to worship Allah. So Jenna is of course, a place
- 31:18where a believer, all they need is worship of Allah and they'll
- 31:20feel content and they'll feel happy.
- 31:22And for for the first thing the guy said to do in Jenna is to go
- 31:26to sujood and make dua like that's beautiful.
- 31:28Mashallah. Can I just say as well, you
- 31:30know, like how we, I have to credit you say because you
- 31:34always talk about destination Jenna, since years you've been.
- 31:37We've only that episode, yeah. Yeah, yeah.
- 31:41But you've always talked about how we need to talk more about
- 31:44gender and Marshall, you named one of your daughters gender and
- 31:48it's I know you talk a lot. And I never thought about it
- 31:50until I think really we started the podcast like I never, I
- 31:53never thought, oh, I'd love, I'd love to go to gender a lot.
- 31:56No, I'd love to. Obviously I never thought what
- 31:58would it be like or do you know what I mean?
- 32:00I'm just trying to think not The thing is hell.
- 32:02Man, we talk a lot about Hellfire and preventing from
- 32:04entering that. The pits hell.
- 32:06That in itself I'm good. Yeah, I know.
- 32:09Allah and Charlotte's preparing for us and for the believers.
- 32:12You know, with my with my kids, I'm sure you went through the
- 32:16same thing, how to introduce it to them.
- 32:18So my son is Mashallah, I'll protect him and you know, please
- 32:22pray for him guys. But he's at a really cute age,
- 32:25so everything for him is like, competitive and fun, like sports
- 32:28and games. I told him Thawab is like
- 32:31points. You get points like a point
- 32:33system. You know, if you do something
- 32:35good, you get good points. If you do something bad, you
- 32:38either lose points or you get bad points.
- 32:40So he's like, oh, OK, So he's trying to think about racking up
- 32:43his points. Then he's like, what happens
- 32:47after we die? He asked me.
- 32:48So I told him you go Jenna if you're good, you go Jenna if
- 32:50you're bad. He says why but like what's
- 32:52what's going on? I told him bro gender rivers of
- 32:57chocolate milk bro he's so you should see his eyes lap.
- 33:02Yeah, yeah. And every day for the last like
- 33:062-3 weeks, I've told him, he said, Baba, you want chocolate
- 33:09milk? Baba, should we get chocolate
- 33:11milk? Baba, let's go, Masha'allah.
- 33:13Because all he's thinking about is he wants that reward, but he
- 33:16knows he has to earn it. And children are so Muslim in
- 33:19that, like they're so pure and innocent in their approach to
- 33:22life that he's thinking about to get this, I need to do this.
- 33:26Only if we had that kind of philosophy as adults, we lose
- 33:29that innocence, that basic approach to life, when really we
- 33:32should have it out. You want to get rewarded, you've
- 33:34got to work for it. Simple as that.
- 33:37Yeah, that's what. It's beautiful.
- 33:38No, and just try and remember as well, because you, you
- 33:44referenced my daughter. Gender is known as gender as
- 33:48well. Have you?
- 33:49May Allah protect your children for you.
- 33:52I remember when we had the Sheikh Mohammed Halion on, on
- 33:54one of the episodes. I think it was episode 96.
- 33:57Wow. Yeah.
- 33:58And I and I briefly. Did know that?
- 34:00And I briefly spoke about it as well.
- 34:02And I told him, how do I introduce gender to, to, to
- 34:06gender because gender was asking me about gender.
- 34:08Oh my God, there's so much genders in the sentence.
- 34:11And then I remember I, I, I thought, like, gender is a place
- 34:14where wherever you want you get. And she was still at that age
- 34:19where she wasn't able to communicate properly.
- 34:21So she goes how, how do I tell a last one Matala I want XYZ for
- 34:26example? I told her, you know, if you
- 34:29don't have to say it, just think about it and just click.
- 34:34And then for a few days she was like she.
- 34:36Can't. Click so she told me one night
- 34:40when I was putting her to bed and she told me swami Baba I I
- 34:44still don't know how to click but I learn how to click.
- 34:46I was like, why she goes, so when I go gender, if I want
- 34:49something, I'll be able to bleed naturally.
- 34:52Don't need to worry. All you need to do is bleed.
- 34:55But I wasn't beautiful, meaningful, wholesome
- 34:57conversation. And it's nice when you discuss
- 34:59these things with your children, man.
- 35:01It's a, it's a whole new level. Like now when I discuss with my
- 35:04eldest Haneen, who's 8, when we speak about gender things like
- 35:09right now she's trying to understand who we will, who can
- 35:12we meet there? Like can she meet my father
- 35:13being her grandfather, grandfather, her mum's father,
- 35:17my father-in-law for us because they're both deceased me Allah
- 35:20less their souls and things. So she's just trying to
- 35:22understand what's more what is what is in heaven.
- 35:25And even I told her, like I gave an example of what you can have
- 35:30some things that are prohibited in this in this dunya become
- 35:34permissible for you in gender, for example, right.
- 35:36One example was we were walking in one of the aisles we were in,
- 35:40I think it was Asda couple of months ago and there was a whole
- 35:44entire aisle of alcoholic beverages.
- 35:48And I remember telling her don't look at the aisles.
- 35:51Just give a walk. Straight just give a walk and so
- 35:56she understood that this is basically Haram.
- 35:58So when I gave an example of when I was given like when she
- 36:01said like what I said, for example, you can have wine in
- 36:04gender, she goes even if I can have wine in gender because it's
- 36:07Haram, I don't want it. I still don't want it.
- 36:10This is the this is this is the mindset they have and it's nice
- 36:12and we should build on that. We should, you know, allow them
- 36:15to love gender and not just hate the Hellfire.
- 36:19They should love the outcome and shall love life of their of
- 36:22their rewards. And Dean, I mean, I mean, next
- 36:24clip you're Allah If you're doing the right thing, people
- 36:29love you or they don't love you. It doesn't matter.
- 36:32People appreciate you or they don't appreciate you.
- 36:34It doesn't matter. People praise you or they
- 36:39sometimes without a reason, they will hate you without a reason,
- 36:43they will fight you. That's OK, You move forward.
- 36:48I mean, is there a guy, is there a man that's meant to be loved
- 36:55like him for the early? On Muslims norms, what do you
- 36:59think he was sitting there saying well all those guys are
- 37:02known enemies to him. Didn't stop him.
- 37:08Even Balhan, Zubair, Aisha Hafsa, some of the companions of
- 37:12Rasulullah, he didn't stop him, He continued to, he continued.
- 37:16The worst one? Was the challenge of the
- 37:19Khawaraj because the Khawaraj were the ones every single night
- 37:23standing up in in Salatu Leyland Tahedral until Fajr, fasting
- 37:27every day. Now they turn against Ali.
- 37:29That still didn't stop him, didn't shake him in his boots.
- 37:32He was not hesitant. On the 10th of Muharram, yes,
- 37:35you had a shimmer, but you also had Omarab Insad, who was the
- 37:39son of a companion, a famous companion.
- 37:42He himself was known as to be a scholar.
- 37:44Omar Binsat he stood against. Did that change Imam Hussein's
- 37:47decisions? Similarly, Fatimah to Zaha, She
- 37:52spoke to the Ansar, she spoke to the Mahajarin, and she.
- 37:56Spoke to that man and she says to that man at Tariff Abiq, you
- 38:02inherit your dad and I will not inherit my father.
- 38:07And what religion is this? She did not give up, she went
- 38:12after Haq and she spoke of Haq and she could care less if the
- 38:17person standing in front of her was the Khalifa or some other
- 38:20person. She said it the way it was to be
- 38:22said. And this is what we take away
- 38:25from Fatima to Zaha, that in the pursuit of Haq you might be
- 38:29alone and the pursuit of Haqq there will be difficult days.
- 38:33But you know when those difficult days become beautiful
- 38:37is when they are lived for a lost.
- 38:40And that is the secret behind understanding what Zayn upset
- 38:45and knee model A to Allah Jamila because it's all in the way of a
- 38:50lost panel. The most difficulties that a
- 38:54human being can see that is Jamil in the eyes of Ali Ali
- 38:58Musa to Assalah. Ash Allah smashed it.
- 39:02Smashed it. Say Jawad the goat.
- 39:06Yeah. Yeah.
- 39:06How was have you? It was.
- 39:08It was he. He every nail on the head.
- 39:11Yeah, every single nail on the head.
- 39:12So relatable, man, those words. Yeah, and you're not just how we
- 39:16live our day-to-day lives, but also what's happening today, of
- 39:19course, of the biggest. Huge man.
- 39:22No, he's right, especially in terms of in the pursuit of Huck.
- 39:26You have your difficult days, but the best days are those that
- 39:29are lived in service to Allah for Allah's happiness.
- 39:32Like he's, he's right. And this is kind of what we've
- 39:34alluded to, right? Like being strong in the face of
- 39:39either Haram or evil or deviance or whatever it is.
- 39:45Well, you'll get rewarded for that.
- 39:46And we've obviously talked about that in the last few clips, but
- 39:49it's definitely worth it. And even if there is no reward,
- 39:53you know that you're making Allah happy.
- 39:55That in itself is that's a reward, you know, and you know
- 39:58that you're following the last commands through following his
- 40:01chosen infallibles. That in itself is.
- 40:04Sufficient for us and inshallah, I pray we can get to that stage.
- 40:07Me, myself especially like I'm, I'm so volatile, like I have
- 40:13great days, I have bad days. I have moments where I know I'm
- 40:17not doing what I should be doing or I'm I'm so far off where I
- 40:22should be and vice versa. There's moments where I'm proud
- 40:24of myself in a good way, not in a prideful way.
- 40:27I hope and I think we should all just try and increase the number
- 40:31of days where we're proud of ourselves.
- 40:33Like, you know what, today I had a good day today.
- 40:36I walked past the the aisle they're talking about, you know,
- 40:40you know, like those moments of, of, of strength and all of that.
- 40:46So. Wow, man.
- 40:48It's a beautiful, powerful reminder by the Say it of how we
- 40:51should be living our lives. Be at home, be at work and the
- 40:55community on the podcast, the work that you do, the service
- 40:59and the headmare that you do. The way people see you, they
- 41:02view you. Who cares?
- 41:04It's how you do you do you that pleases Allah, that pleases your
- 41:08mom and Mehdi and that that's sufficiently Shawn, honestly,
- 41:11the Malek Shalek with what people say, people are going to
- 41:14complain whether you do something good or bad.
- 41:16People have people have something to say before.
- 41:19We started the podcast today. We heard that there's people
- 41:22complaining about aftermarket. Any what we do, good or bad, the
- 41:26people. Oh, why are you bringing this
- 41:27person on? Why are you bringing that
- 41:28person? But who are you, man?
- 41:30Relax. It's OK.
- 41:32So I just have to remind you what you said reminded me of
- 41:34that. Whether you do good or bad,
- 41:36that's true. Whether you your heart is in the
- 41:38right place. You're trying to serve a lot.
- 41:40You're always open for feedback, suggestions for growth.
- 41:43And you're a mutt min or a mutt miner or you're a group of
- 41:46brothers or sisters. You're trying to serve either
- 41:48individually or collectively, whatever.
- 41:51If you've got feedback for someone, share it with them.
- 41:53Why are you bringing them down, trying to tear them down, even
- 41:55if they're doing something wrong?
- 41:57Yeah, like the Sage said, even when you're doing good, they'll
- 42:00cuss you out. But even if you're doing
- 42:01something wrong, tell them feedback.
- 42:04Message them privately. Arrange to sit with them, talk
- 42:07to them, call them. Approach them with a clock.
- 42:11Say to them, I don't like how you did this.
- 42:14Do you mind if I should? Or even if you don't say that,
- 42:16you say to them, you know, Mella reward you.
- 42:18I know your heart's probably in the right place.
- 42:20Can I suggest something and and understand that people might do
- 42:24things differently to you. It's OK, you know?
- 42:26And yeah, that vexed me out. Before we start filming, we hear
- 42:31that people are saying, oh, after Maghrib, why they bringing
- 42:34this person on? That means after Maghrib.
- 42:36Are this after Maghrib? Bro, relax.
- 42:39Like, you know. Which is that going to change
- 42:41our mission? Honestly.
- 42:42Not honestly, but these people are out to to to to try and tear
- 42:46you down. This is how life is bro.
- 42:48This is this is how the world this this is how they, how the
- 42:51people well with Rasul Allah sallallahu, the greatest man to
- 42:54walk this earth, they they cursed them, they called them a
- 42:57liar, they called them magician. They threw stones at him.
- 43:01The very people that surrounded him betrayed.
- 43:03Him, it's demotivating, said. You know, I mean, you got
- 43:06obviously demotivating, but you have to write the storm.
- 43:09But if you're a believer, if you have Iman and the heart and not
- 43:13just Islam, you have Iman, who cares?
- 43:16It's yeah, you're walking the path of Hakkia.
- 43:18And we learn from the very best individuals.
- 43:21The elevate Ali himself who the said was referencing, he gave
- 43:23the examples of Imam Ali Ali Islam say the Fatima Zahrah Ali
- 43:28has Salaam and when we talk about Imam Ali, Imam Ali says he
- 43:31says the truth left me with no friends and he was alone.
- 43:34Think about it. And he ran more money and by
- 43:36himself for hack about Imam Hussein died for hack say
- 43:42there's the truth for her hack like these are all people we
- 43:45learn from and inshallah we all live and die and abide by hack.
- 43:49I mean, I mean Ali, and if we take those words seriously, who
- 43:55cares what people say honestly anyway?
- 43:58Yeah, May Allah. Big Up simply didn't inspire as
- 44:00well. Man Javid.
- 44:02Yeah, they've been cutting off to his.
- 44:04Brother, he's probably listening.
- 44:06I know he's a loyal listener. No, I had the friend of the team
- 44:09had the opportunity to meet him. To meet him, I saw him.
- 44:11I have to have him in person. A lot, but we have a.
- 44:13Face to face. I love him, I love him.
- 44:17If you're listening, go follow simply the inspired brother
- 44:21Javeed. He's a reaver.
- 44:23He's also a friend of the team he's been supporting and he does
- 44:26some incredible work. Mello reward him and his family.
- 44:29Inshallah. And therefore when they recruit
- 44:32fighters, what they are recruiting them for is to be a
- 44:34part of this army that is going to trigger this final showdown
- 44:37between the West and Islam, that Islam will win and then the.
- 44:41Whole world will be governed under their set of rules.
- 44:45Led by the emergence of the 12th Imam, the, the, the Mahdi,
- 44:47they're Messianic. Why is this important for us to
- 44:51understand? And why is that important for
- 44:53the next Secretary of State to understand?
- 44:56Because when you understand that you realize these are not people
- 44:58you can negotiate with. These are not.
- 45:00These are individuals with an. Apocalyptic vision of the
- 45:03future. Interesting.
- 45:04What a lot of nonsense. While they fear the Imam, we
- 45:09can't wait to embrace them. Honestly, do you know why they
- 45:12fear the Imam while they speak against the Imam, Why they
- 45:15instill fear in the hearts of those who are listening to these
- 45:18press and statements and conferences that they hold
- 45:21speaking against the Imam? Because he's going to come
- 45:24crushing down their system, bro, He's going to.
- 45:28There's a lot of things I don't know if I can say on on the
- 45:32radio waves Best. Yeah, that's it.
- 45:37I said I agree. What I would say is that I think
- 45:42we got, it's important for us to know our eschatological stances
- 45:47as Shia and also as Sunnis, you know, know, know what Islam says
- 45:51about eschatology, especially as, as a Sonoma Jamaah.
- 45:57The I think you should research eschatology in in Islam and I'm
- 46:00sure it will lead you towards the discussion of Imam and Mehdi
- 46:03because really that we dominate that discussion in terms of the
- 46:06Islamic circles in terms of the 12th Holy Imam and to know our
- 46:12stuff. And also like Marco Rubio
- 46:15speaking in front of the Jewish forum or something.
- 46:19I didn't see the name press forum or something.
- 46:22But every Abrahamic religion believes in the Messiah.
- 46:24So either Messiah or saviour awaited saviour.
- 46:31Why is it a shock? Muslims believe in in the final
- 46:33saviour. Jews believe in the final
- 46:35saviour. Christians believe in the final
- 46:36saviour. Callas, what's the big deal?
- 46:39Like it's not that deep. It's not that deep.
- 46:41It's just the way that they portray it and paint.
- 46:43Yeah, I know. Present it for the masses, for
- 46:45the wall. Because the Shia have belief in
- 46:47it. Like that's the difference.
- 46:48Like it's not just written in our books.
- 46:50Like the the people believe it today in 2026.
- 46:52It's not say what I mean is is like the Shia, Yeah, believe it.
- 46:57Like as the actual individual human beings, you know, they
- 47:00believe it. They think about it, they pray
- 47:01for it. They talk about every day.
- 47:02Every day, right? The some other Muslims and also
- 47:06some Shias don't like, they don't think about it, talk about
- 47:09it, act it, believe it, right, although they might say they do,
- 47:14Christians and Jews much less so.
- 47:17So then what happens is in the whole global population, the
- 47:20only people who are really talking about the coming of the
- 47:23awaited savvy, who will bring equity and justice, as our
- 47:25Hadith say to the Earth, are the Shia.
- 47:29So that's what's a shock, despite the fact that everyone
- 47:32believes it on paper, the ink is on the pages.
- 47:35Like everyone's got it down and written.
- 47:37However, the people who take that and translate and material
- 47:40like take that and materialise that into belief into their
- 47:43hearts is this year. OK, fine.
- 47:45I lost. Like, I'm not surprised to hear
- 47:47that too. I've seen that clip loads of
- 47:49times like. It'll be the heart of it.
- 47:51It's not just this clip. There's other clips as well.
- 47:53I've seen the politicians in particular in the USA as well.
- 47:58There is more literacy about the Shia though.
- 48:00Yeah, but they've been referencing Imam and Mehdi or
- 48:03the 12th Imam or you know, the Imam of the Shia and all of
- 48:07this. But I encourage everyone who
- 48:10comes across these. At least, at least.
- 48:12And research. At least when the imam comes,
- 48:14they'll be able to say, Oh yeah, we were expecting you, but we
- 48:16knew. We knew you were coming.
- 48:18We heard you were coming. Oh, and and the beautiful thing
- 48:21about his his his return and Sha Allah, his reappearance is that
- 48:26I said the Marian will be following him, right?
- 48:30And the very people they claim to be following is going to be
- 48:35following Imam and Mehdi. I just a lot I love for a male
- 48:39licence reappearance. I mean, I mean.
- 48:42But yeah, Imam Mehdi is. So have you ever watched Subway
- 48:45takes? I haven't seen subway takes.
- 48:48You're about to see one. Let's go.
- 48:50So what's your take? I don't think people are
- 48:51actually religious. 100% disagree.
- 48:53I think the people that are religious are the fundamentals
- 48:56that are blowing up and banging down doors.
- 48:58Those people actually believe it.
- 49:00But I believe in God. But I let people live their
- 49:02lives. I quit eating sugar.
- 49:04I've told every single one of my friends about it to try and help
- 49:08them get off sugar. If I thought they were going to
- 49:10burn in hell, I would be shaking them awake in the middle of the
- 49:13night and being like. Except Jesus in your life,
- 49:16please. OK, so you're going to say no
- 49:18one's being extreme enough? Because they don't.
- 49:20Don't believe it, they don't buy it.
- 49:21If I thought that if you died you would go to hell forever in
- 49:25a horrible place with Satan doing or whatever, that'd be the
- 49:29first thing I said to you. Like, how's it going?
- 49:32Are you religious yet? I.
- 49:34Don't know. What do you mean you don't know?
- 49:36People talk about keto. People talk about so many things
- 49:39all the time. If you thought that there was a
- 49:41God and there was a heaven in hell, people would not show
- 49:44about it, right? They would really be trying to
- 49:46convert you into a pious person. My aunt, she is religious.
- 49:49What has she done? She texts me every day.
- 49:51Please. Please accept Jesus.
- 49:54So the people that come knock on the door and they say the
- 49:57fanatics, the people who we deem crazy, those are religious.
- 50:00These like, I'm a Christian, but gay.
- 50:04I love gays. No, you don't get to make
- 50:07caveats. You don't get to believe there's
- 50:08a dude in the sky orchestrating. It's so delusional, bro.
- 50:14There's so much mixed feelings. What she's saying.
- 50:17Yeah, no more is crazy. It's my first time she clips
- 50:20like this. You just see subway takes.
- 50:23I've never seen subway takes before.
- 50:24We went to New York Subway. I kept saying this to subway
- 50:26takes Subway. Now I understand, But why do you
- 50:30told me, Rose? This guy, man, I told him let's
- 50:34do subway takes, let's do subway takes.
- 50:36Let's just call us anyway, yeah? Florida was calling.
- 50:41Yeah, I think she's messed up. I mean, her mindset, she's all
- 50:46over the place. At the beginning I thought she
- 50:49was about to speak some offence and onto something that we may
- 50:53agree with, but just a lot of nonsense, basically, Yeah.
- 50:58What do you want me to say is just nonsense.
- 51:03Do you think what she's saying has any element of truth when
- 51:05she says that? No, not fair enough.
- 51:08Fair enough. Because if I say yes, that means
- 51:12I agreed to pass of it. I was going to at the beginning,
- 51:14but no, yeah. I think she's obviously like
- 51:20she's trying to be funny. She's not really carrying
- 51:23herself well because she comes across as really disrespectful
- 51:26to people who who aim to be religious or deem themselves as
- 51:30religious. So I think black putting aside
- 51:32the clock, which I really didn't like, you know, the swearing and
- 51:35obviously it's a bit funny, like she mentioned, like vaping on
- 51:39the train and the crazy guys and like waking a friend up in the
- 51:42middle. And I get there's like a
- 51:44humorous element to it. What I would say though, in all
- 51:47honesty. So when she says that people are
- 51:50not religious, truly I I get that.
- 51:54And I feel like people, I feel like Muslims don't represent
- 51:59Islam all the time. And Christians.
- 52:01Are probably herself she's basing off her.
- 52:04Experience. No, no, hold on, hold on.
- 52:05So what I mean is, like she said, obeying the laws doesn't
- 52:09make you religious. I think the way we would see
- 52:12that or the way at least I see it is obeying the laws doesn't
- 52:15give you sincerity or Iman necessarily, right?
- 52:19Like you might pray five times a day and sit on the praying
- 52:22doesn't mean that you are sincere in your religion.
- 52:26But what she's saying is you can't be religious without being
- 52:29a fundamentalist. And her example was I quit sugar
- 52:32and I tried to get my friends to stop sugar.
- 52:34If I thought they were going to burn in hell, I'd go way more
- 52:36extreme and try to convince them to become religious.
- 52:39I think that's a very Christian esque, like a liturgical view on
- 52:43things in the sense that it's very much about like Christian
- 52:49text about punishment and pedagogy and like God's, God's
- 52:55punishment and redemption and salvation and us all a bunch of
- 52:58that like Christian language and mentality.
- 53:02Do you know what I mean? I think from an Islamic point of
- 53:04view, it doesn't really work like that.
- 53:05The maths doesn't work like. That.
- 53:06Oh, well, that's the thing. I'm seeing it from our lens.
- 53:08Yeah, it doesn't really work like that.
- 53:09I'm trying to to relate to some of the things she's saying even
- 53:13though I think I especially when she mentioned that vape part, I
- 53:16sort of understood that for example.
- 53:18OK, just because you believe in something doesn't mean.
- 53:20I I yeah, but there's, there's I I get sorry.
- 53:23Karen cried. I can say 99% of people have one
- 53:27or two things that they fail to understand why Allah has
- 53:30prohibited something. Yeah.
- 53:32And they just go with the flow, OK, it's Haram.
- 53:34It's Haram. They still don't know why it is.
- 53:36By the end of the day, you submit to Allah.
- 53:38But there is an element of truth where like.
- 53:40That's that's rebellion, people. Yeah, it was like, yeah.
- 53:44No, you're right. Element is different, yeah.
- 53:46People who aren't religious, like yeah, OK bro.
- 53:49Like there's loads of Muslims who are not religious.
- 53:53If we're talking about Islam, yeah, Christians a different
- 53:56thing. Like I know some Christians who
- 53:57are religious, but they're but Islam, like you can be a Muslim
- 54:02who emotionally is bought in, like identity is bought in, but
- 54:07you don't practice, you go what I mean.
- 54:09So for example, you go to Eid, you align with it, align with
- 54:14the same values as other Muslims.
- 54:15You respect the same things Muslims respect.
- 54:19Like you're pro Quran, like you love the Quran, this, that,
- 54:22this, that, but you're not an active practicing Muslim.
- 54:25Do you know what I mean? And I think that's the issue in
- 54:27the Shiite community. It's an even bigger issue in the
- 54:29Sunni community. And that's my theory.
- 54:31I might be wrong but I strongly believe that.
- 54:35But I don't think you see that as much in Christianity.
- 54:37It's like you might be raised as a Christian.
- 54:38Yesterday, 2 days ago I met a guy who told me I was raised in
- 54:42a Christian family and I left Christianity because of the
- 54:48pressure. I don't think it's as common.
- 54:52Of course it's common, but I think Christianity's lost more
- 54:56people in the last generation due to religious fundamentalism
- 55:01or religious practice which the the child of that Christian
- 55:05deems as fundamentalism. But that's anyways it's too
- 55:08difficult conversation. I, I think so.
- 55:10I don't know where this convoy is going to go now, but I think
- 55:13Christianity died a long time ago.
- 55:15Growing up the primary school, I think I was more Christian than
- 55:22my Christian fellow students. In terms of what they.
- 55:25Practice and believe in and that was just an observation that I
- 55:29had as a kid who I knew and understood that there are
- 55:32different religions out there, not just Islam and not just I
- 55:35see things through our lens nor those people who see things and
- 55:38believe different things and disagree and agree on other
- 55:41stuff. But as a child I understood that
- 55:44in the classroom there were people that believed was Jesus
- 55:47their Lord, but they were far away from his teachings.
- 55:50And I was a kid fine. I remember myself discussion.
- 55:53You have discussions with colour, You're flipping
- 55:56Grandfather the prophet. Yeah, I'm talking as a kid.
- 56:00Yeah, I know. You mean?
- 56:00Yeah, I know. You mean Yeah, Yeah.
- 56:01I don't think as a kid. No, I think I was the same as
- 56:03well. I genuinely think I was the same
- 56:05but. And I and I had like 2
- 56:07observations, 1 was for example, I think I was in year three, I
- 56:14was in year 3. And we went swimming, we went in
- 56:19the change room and then my first, I was like, you guys are
- 56:24Christian. What are you doing?
- 56:25Like, And I would have have a debate.
- 56:27And I remember my teacher who also was a Christian and I went
- 56:30to him. I was like, bro, I can't, I
- 56:32can't get changed here. I need to go to a private space,
- 56:35right? And he was shocked that I'm
- 56:36shocked that they're shocked and we're shocked of the situation.
- 56:40And then I remember after that speaking to my friends about it,
- 56:43I was like, well, this is wrong. This is like they start telling
- 56:45me, oh, it's fine. My parents are like that at
- 56:47home. And I was shocked.
- 56:50And gosh, how old am I in year 3, by the way, 88778 And at that
- 56:56time, I understood Christianity was dead at that age because it
- 57:01wasn't just one person. It wasn't just one person.
- 57:04It was the entire classroom, the entire classroom even.
- 57:08We used to have Friday assemblies.
- 57:10Well, we used to start our school Friday assemblies, bell
- 57:13rings, A559 AM. There's like 900 kids sitting in
- 57:17the, in the, in the big assembly.
- 57:18We make, they make our Allah, this our Lord, protect our
- 57:22school, our Lord, protect our family and friends.
- 57:24Our Lord, thank you for the food and family.
- 57:27And I'm the only one who used to go like this while they're
- 57:30making dua and they're just standing there.
- 57:32And it was, it was like a Christian School.
- 57:35So I'm trying to say, well, good, good education there, but
- 57:39there was no value. There was no Christian values.
- 57:42And they look, and I look at growing up now, I'm what, I'm
- 57:4433, and I look at all the conversations they're having in
- 57:47the world today. They can say, oh, this is a
- 57:49Christian country. We're losing our values.
- 57:52We're losing it to Muslims. You have no values left.
- 57:54You are the ones to blame, not us.
- 57:56Salah Musa. Anyhow, I don't want the
- 57:58conversation to go there. But that's a point.
- 58:01Christianity died a long time ago.
- 58:04So I was just to clip this up. Yeah, that's so funny.
- 58:07That was proper and passioned. I said.
- 58:09Is there any more clips? Much.
- 58:11All right, we'll do it fast. OK.
- 58:13Beautiful, emotional. What are they saying?
- 58:16I'm not sure, but I do. Know this if I was going to
- 58:20battle. I'm putting on Mullah Mohammad
- 58:23Bajwada straight up. Here let me.
- 58:27Put you up on game. So this lady called Kate
- 58:39Watermelon. Sister Caitlin.
- 58:41I'm assuming that watermelon is representing.
- 58:43Palestine. Yeah, she.
- 58:45Makes a good point and I've seen numerous.
- 58:47Some really good yeah, she's got some really good Tik Toks, man
- 58:49like she's got a very unique aura, but.
- 58:53You know some of her clips, I tell myself she's more Shia than
- 58:56the Shia. This is the thing.
- 58:57Yeah, her values are in the right place.
- 58:59Yeah, for sure isn't that much to what can't be.
- 59:01It's not. It's not.
- 59:02Which one? Yeah, the recite.
- 59:03It's not. Which water I stuck stuck on my
- 59:06head. Now I like it.
- 59:08Yeah, next clip. Yeah, I don't want to comment on
- 59:10this one, Coach there now, Cameron, what do you make of?
- 59:16You do it to his best. What are you going to do?
- 59:19Miracles. Miracles is impossible, we say
- 59:22in Portugal. Miracles is only in Fatima and.
- 59:27I don't know if you know this that expression.
- 59:29They start to smile because they.
- 59:30Don't know. I know you.
- 59:31You know, the fighting miracles. It's.
- 59:35And you're not gonna do miracles.
- 59:36Even the players, Manchester United have a good players.
- 59:41Play, play, play. OK.
- 59:45OK, you can stop. Stop.
- 59:47It's a long video. It's a long video.
- 59:48I think I get the context behind this.
- 59:51Go on. OK.
- 59:53I. Love the software, A long love
- 59:55piano. The tweet says Cristiano Ronaldo
- 59:58talked about baby Fatima Alayhi Salaam.
- 1:00:01I don't think Cristiano was referring to in this
- 1:00:03conversation, say the Fatima Alayhi Salaam.
- 1:00:05But he's referring to a St. in Portugal in a city called
- 1:00:11Fatima, where somebody sort of dream of a lady who cured
- 1:00:14someone and her name was Fatima and they built something based
- 1:00:18on that. And I've heard many people go
- 1:00:21there and visit every single day.
- 1:00:22I don't know the full story behind it.
- 1:00:28Next is she? So they've been saying much of
- 1:00:31us, said some believe that Fatima called Fatima the one
- 1:00:36he's referencing to someone who is in the form of, say, the
- 1:00:40Mariam. I'm confused.
- 1:00:42Can I get the context behind it? You've been smiling the whole
- 1:00:45time. No.
- 1:00:46So firstly, I sent this clip ages ago to Muj and I said
- 1:00:50saying Ali would love this clip. Yeah.
- 1:00:52And he told me delete it before saying Ali sees it.
- 1:00:55We'll save it for the reactions part.
- 1:00:57So firstly, that's that. Secondly, I love, I love how
- 1:01:03there's like 2-3 things I love. I love how they put Safali Allah
- 1:01:06behind Pierce Morgan and Cristiano Ronaldo.
- 1:01:08Yeah. And secondly, I love how he
- 1:01:10talks about say, the Fatima directly or directly.
- 1:01:12Thirdly, I love how they have like a 3 minute lecture of Mulan
- 1:01:16Ali Razarizvi straight on the same clip straight after
- 1:01:21Cristiano Ronaldo. Like I've never thought of the
- 1:01:23day I see you Ronaldo. Piers Morgan, Ali Razarizi.
- 1:01:28Oh my Daisy yellow. Let's go to the next one.
- 1:01:30That's a good video, Good video. There's so many.
- 1:01:36I don't know what this is about, but it's.
- 1:01:38Trying to pay attention. To your heart.
- 1:01:41His mother is dead. He doesn't have it.
- 1:01:48You really had it? What's he saying?
- 1:01:55I'm. Protected by Yahweh.
- 1:01:58Oh wow, I don't know about nobody.
- 1:01:59He says. He says whether he goes I'm
- 1:02:02protected by Yahweh. Yahweh is the is if I'm not
- 1:02:05mistaken, the Jewish or Hebrew name for God, like for Allah.
- 1:02:11Yahweh. OK, but that's jokes that he saw
- 1:02:13that Irvine walk he. Doesn't know where they're.
- 1:02:15Going field footage, I could feel footage and he's like
- 1:02:18curious and he. Yeah, anyway.
- 1:02:20Irvine, The greatest largest gathering in the world.
- 1:02:25Hubble Hussein Next clip when I get the note by Ahmed.
- 1:02:31Next clip. Allah.
- 1:03:04Allah says you need to break it down for me, Allah, Allah.
- 1:03:22Basically this, I think this presenter is very prominent.
- 1:03:26I've seen so many different clips by him and he always
- 1:03:29brings on scholars and experts and you know, people who are
- 1:03:34like thinkers and speakers to specific topics and he asks them
- 1:03:38like controversial questions. And he tries to get lovely some
- 1:03:42beef and reaction and juice from the conversation.
- 1:03:45But Subhan Allah, every single Shiri who's been on his episodes
- 1:03:48from the clips I've seen from. The ground.
- 1:03:50They hold it down. You can't destroy us, honestly.
- 1:03:53So basically, he's telling him, give me proof from the Quran
- 1:03:57where Imam Ali is mentioned in the Quran.
- 1:03:59Lovely. And he tells me, yeah, Imam Ali
- 1:04:00is mentioned in the Quran. And then he goes to what, by
- 1:04:04name? He said no by not by name, but
- 1:04:06something much better than his name.
- 1:04:08NAFTA Rasool. You know what we talk about,
- 1:04:11right? Yeah.
- 1:04:13That's solid. That's solid.
- 1:04:14What do you say about Abu Baker? He said Abu Baker is also
- 1:04:18mentioned in the Quran, not my name.
- 1:04:34You know what? It's what I'm thinking.
- 1:04:37OK, fair enough. No, I wanna go watch.
- 1:04:40I love and love. Yeah.
- 1:04:42Is that the last one? Yeah, I like this one.
- 1:04:48Yeah, it's good selection. Guys, it's amazing.
- 1:04:50It's very, very good selection, some very heavy, some very
- 1:04:52funny. I think many are relevant.
- 1:04:55I like it. I like it.
- 1:04:56I like it. Follow off the marketing podcast
- 1:04:58on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Reddit, Snapchat, Myspace,
- 1:05:04Twitter, Myspace. We're there, we are there.
- 1:05:11And if you ain't there, yeah. Allow my Arab.
- 1:05:20Well, give it a break, I mean. I.
- 1:05:26Mean, I mean, how many times in this podcast have we had a long
- 1:05:31way Arab? Who was the way he drops it,
- 1:05:35it's like, you know how people say get the hook in the first
- 1:05:38second he smashed it. I love my Arab.
- 1:05:43I've got, I think we're ending the episode now, but you know, I
- 1:05:49saw a clip today. It's it was a humorous clip.
- 1:05:52There was a funny clip. There was a comedian who, I
- 1:05:57don't know if it's actually sushi, want to mention.
- 1:06:00Color. But I just want to mention it
- 1:06:02because it's a reminder of today's fines, right?
- 1:06:06What he was like what's happening in Iran is, is tragic,
- 1:06:12is sad. You know, it's difficult.
- 1:06:15There's children dying. You know, sometimes people speak
- 1:06:19the truth through humour, right? And they're very good at it.
- 1:06:22And he was like when when they bombed that school in Iran, they
- 1:06:27couldn't be. It was not the Americans and it
- 1:06:29definitely wasn't Trump. And the crowd was like, no, it
- 1:06:33was trouble. No, he wasn't.
- 1:06:35He goes because I saw on the Epstein files, Trump loves kids.
- 1:06:38He's not going to bomb the kids. But like some people are so
- 1:06:41smart on how they present their message.
- 1:06:43And I was like, well, I didn't know.
- 1:06:45Like, I didn't know, like, on comedy, you can actually, you
- 1:06:49know, speak bars and speak truth.
