- 0:01Trending. Now here's what you need to know. Oh boy, was it
- 0:05trending yesterday, and so were all of the memes. Former President Donald trump
- 0:09slush money trial continued to New York City yesterday. Adult film star Stormy Daniels
- 0:13took the stand to testify, giving some salacious details of the intimate encounter that
- 0:18she had with him allegedly in two thousand and six. I just remember the
- 0:23word mushroom being used a lot. Is that true? I don't know.
- 0:28I mean, what's it supposed to? I think it depends what you know
- 0:37what I mean, like that what other shape? I thought that one was
- 0:42about as accurate as it gets? Am I missing something? You know what
- 0:47I mean? I don't know. It was really the silk Silko jammies.
- 0:52Yeah. Anyway, Trump's attorney ended up requesting a mistrial. They denied that
- 0:59and said they would be striking some of her testimony. Maybe that was like
- 1:02the mushroom talk, because it was just saying if not that, then what
- 1:07that we had sort of as a society agreed that that was the best description,
- 1:15you know what I mean? I five years ago. It's not all
- 1:19mushrooms are created equally. No, just like everything. Yeah, you're just
- 1:23never lots of different, just like you know, humans just sort of zoom
- 1:30out a bit. Yeah, the whole human itself. Trump's lawyer requested a
- 1:34mistrial, by the way after that, like how can you unhear all of
- 1:37the things she just said. The judge denied it, but did say they
- 1:40were going to strike some of the testimony. But even then, it's like,
- 1:44that's the whole thing with our our what kind of what do you call
- 1:47it? The jury justice system? You know, it's like, hey,
- 1:51pretend you didn't hear that. You know, I swear I didn't see anything
- 1:53about Donald Trump ever. I have no idea what's going on here. They
- 1:59got to like men black them is to strike that from your memory. Look
- 2:01at this little pen put them in like a little trance. You didn't hear
- 2:05that? All right? Boy? Scouts of America has been rebranded. They're
- 2:07now going to be going as Scouting America. They announced that yesterday and the
- 2:13reason is because they're now allowing girls, and I guess for the past five
- 2:15years they've been doing that. Anyway, that's good breaking barriers. Girls should
- 2:20be able to allowed to learn to tie knots too. I love tying a
- 2:24fishing dot. That just you know what got me really excited. It's opening
- 2:27fishing weekend. Looking at the forecast, I can't remember a weekend that was
- 2:30going to be this nice for some good old fishing. You don't learn to
- 2:35tie phishing knots and boy scouts. Oh just in general, that's you said,
- 2:38not my winter fishing. Let's talk about knots in general. Yeah,
- 2:42okay, how to really change the subject for something more fun. What are
- 2:46your thoughts on balloon knots? The worst? Trying to get two fingies in
- 2:51to push it throughout that. I know what you're doing. That is the
- 2:54worst. I cannot, I can. I I hate tying balloons. Can
- 3:01nuts? You big balloon tire balloon knots? Yeah? Yeah, like a
- 3:08good balloon knot Really, I spent a long time. You gotta kind of
- 3:15get if I'm not even kidding here, but if you get a kind of
- 3:17wet and you kind of like stretch it out a little, yes, of
- 3:21course. Oh we aren't even talking about blowing up a balloon. No,
- 3:23no, no, no, that part's already done. If I get to
- 3:25the point where I actually am hosting birthday parties for my kids, I'm gonna
- 3:29just probably buy a helium tank. Well, then that's nice because then they
- 3:34you know, I never got so I always hated the sucking of the helium
- 3:38the kids would do, or even now people do it, they're so willing.
- 3:42Nelly there, I'm like, I heard one time that your lungs could
- 3:45explode, and that was enough for me to never do it. Is that
- 3:46true? Never done? I've never I've never done that voice. Nothing makes
- 3:50me giggle more than that voice. I know, and I lessen it's funny,
- 3:53but I just get nervous. All right. America spend nearly five hundred
- 3:57dollars a year tipping, and that feels really low to me. Forty bucks
- 4:00a month, well, you know, some months it's probably more. Some
- 4:04months is less. That's why we call it the average. Yes, it
- 4:09depends, all right. Today, speaking of tippin', come on over,
- 4:13it's a really bad one. Tipping' on faux foes. What Mike Jones,
- 4:17who come on? That's a deep cut for anybody was in the wrap in
- 4:21two thousand and five, still tippin', alright, and then everybody in the
- 4:34club getting tips. Okay, Pike in a minute in the morning, big
- 4:38Natty eight point seven. I'm just a little shaken up after a medical scaret
- 4:42yesterday. I had to go to the doctor because you know, maybe you
- 4:45can relate where you just something's wrong. And me, big tough guy,
- 4:48I know that's what everyone thinks, A big tough guy Pike, he doesn't
- 4:53go to the doctor. He just you know, he'll figure it out on
- 4:56his own. But I had this Tommy age and it was just a peculiar
- 5:00one. We've been very like, very like a big knot in my stomach,
- 5:02and it'd been going on since Sunday. So yesterday, Tuesday, I'm
- 5:05thinking I'm going on forty eight hours because after a very we'll call it social
- 5:10weekend, you know, two shows with my band, a lot of eating
- 5:14out, a lot of drinks, you know, just naturally, it's not
- 5:17unusual to not feel great on a Sunday. But here we are Tuesday,
- 5:21and this is very like painful not I'm like, well, I don't know.
- 5:26That seems a little suspicious. So then you know, you get your
- 5:29Google fingers out, I hear you, you know, you get your that
- 5:31web MD doctorate you've got, and you start to find things like, oh
- 5:35well it could be this. It could be all sorts of my you know,
- 5:40it's right here where my organs are, and god, I don't want
- 5:42anything wrong with my organs. So then I thought, well I should go
- 5:46in. So man, I went in yesterday. You know that I was
- 5:47complaining all morning and you said you got to go in. Yeah, because
- 5:51a year ago you had your appendic appendix out. I seriously thought that's what
- 5:55was going on. Yeah, like, this is gonna be brutal, right
- 5:58this And it would have been exact actly the same day. That would have
- 6:01been wild the day a wild situation. The FEDS would have had to investigate.
- 6:05That's how suspicious that would have been. But I go in to Assensha
- 6:10love Assentia, and they're so awesome. I get in there and right away,
- 6:14you know, you start explaining your symptoms in the doctor. As soon
- 6:16as they get this like alarmed look on their face, you start to get
- 6:20scared, you know, because it then they start saying things like well normally
- 6:25this would be benign. But you're like, but what do you mean?
- 6:30But they're like, we want to get you in for an X ray,
- 6:32Like what are we x ray my organs? And they said, we just
- 6:35we can see a little more with an X ray. Well, yeah,
- 6:39because yeah, I can't really see what's going on in their pike without right
- 6:42you can guess, you know, they can. And of course she pushed
- 6:46right when she pushed, I like yelped because it was right. I'm like,
- 6:47oh, that's the spot. So she gets me in the X ray
- 6:50room. I, you know, put my you know, cute little outfit
- 6:54on. I didn't know the option of the outfit or just pull my pants
- 6:57down to my knees, and so I just did that. But uh,
- 6:59anyway, start X raying. And now I'm waiting in the room again,
- 7:02just anxious as all hack. And she finally comes back in and she pulls
- 7:06the X rays up and she looks at it and she just had this look
- 7:10on her face like oh, she looks at me, and she goes,
- 7:13do you see this? And I look at the X ray. I don't
- 7:15know what I'm looking at. Looks like I've set her ribs and hip bones.
- 7:19And she goes, you're full of stool, my friend, full of
- 7:25stool. So you just have to you went to the doctor because you just
- 7:29couldn't wait for number two. Huh, Yeah, got an X ray to
- 7:33determine that I just needed to go number two? So so did give give
- 7:41you a prescription for that? A man, it turns out you don't need
- 7:44one. No, there's a simple solutions in your own cab patients, in
- 7:47your own cabinet at home. If you really are desperate, you can go
- 7:51to a drug store or a grocery store, probably even a gas station.
- 7:56So sometimes like kids had tummy issues, like back in the day, do
- 8:00you want me to do what I used to have to do with Briggsy he
- 8:03was a little gassy bugger. Oh really, you could just like lay on
- 8:05the floor right now and I grab your legs and just kind of push them
- 8:07up, push them up, just really get it working. Should you give
- 8:11that? Do something little roly poly moves? Have you thought about, like,
- 8:16uh, child's pos really just like stretching. See, well, suddenly
- 8:20I don't really care anymore because I was going in pretty nervous, you know,
- 8:24like thinking you were dying. Well yeah, yeah, But then now
- 8:26that I know it's just this just a little backed up, It's like,
- 8:30well, I don't care about that at all, so I'm just gonna ignore
- 8:33it. So I just want everyone to know that, you know, while
- 8:35we did have quite the scary yesterday. Medically, I think I'm gonna be
- 8:39fine for now. For now, somebody order up some well, no,
- 8:43it wouldn't be pepto. What is it? What are you supposed to use?
- 8:46Me relax or some sort of generic version of that. Anyway, so
- 8:50he sort of lax. Let's hope it kicks in. And if you hear
- 8:52a suspicious amount of songs played consecutively on the station this morning, you know
- 8:56what's going on in the morning. I feel like I was just there in
- 9:03the delivery room when you were giving birth to your first child, Sidney Luanne,
- 9:07and now come to find out she's basically graduating high school. Oh my
- 9:11gosh, bike or it's something close to it, right, because you just
- 9:16had now tell me what this big event was you were all worked up about.
- 9:20All right, So here's the deal. Sidney lu Anne had kindergarten kickoff
- 9:26Monday. She's starting kindergarten when not until the end of August. But they
- 9:31do a little pre Hey, this is where you're going to be going to
- 9:33school, because the teachers don't want to be there all summer showing the kids
- 9:35around the school. They don't know they want to enjoy their summer as well.
- 9:39So I had never been to the elementary school. So Sid and I
- 9:43we scootered on over to the school. Are you that close to it?
- 9:48Yes, that's nice. On Monday, you were scootering, I was walking,
- 9:54thank you. No, I I was hilarious to imagine you and her
- 9:58on little Razor scooters if those are still a fit, just zooming around.
- 10:01No. So we rolled into the school and walk in the door, and
- 10:07first thing I see is welcome to the class of twenty thirty seven. Oh
- 10:13come on, I mean, tell me, if nothing, it's harder,
- 10:16just like what? And she is so excited, She's just giddy. We
- 10:22get our little packet. We are walking around and just looking at the classrooms.
- 10:26They do a little presentation. It was just that moment where what,
- 10:31like, how did this happen? How is she gonna have a locker?
- 10:35Her just going up to the locker, trying to figure out how it works.
- 10:39I mean, these moments, Oh my god, she's well, she's
- 10:41in preschool, right she is, I mean like sort of the same,
- 10:46right, I mean it's a structured situation. She's so beyond ready for kindergarten.
- 10:50I'm not worried about that. It's just the fact that she is now
- 10:52going to this big, huge school that's just down the road, and that's
- 10:58it. I shall be there with like what up to fifth graders or I,
- 11:01oh, that's a really good question. I don't know how many okay
- 11:05grades are in there. This was emotional for you, It was beyond emotional.
- 11:09I walked out of that school in tears. I was like choking back
- 11:11tears a couple of times. Sydney looks at me, she goes, Mom,
- 11:15why are you crying? Like, honey, you're getting so big,
- 11:20so big. But right before we had left, they had the table pike.
- 11:24They had the table that said PTO, because I wanted to make sure
- 11:26that she had a T shirt ready to go for her school because they have
- 11:31these cute little T shirts. I mean, you got it. If you're
- 11:33going to go to the school, you got to be representing the school you're
- 11:35at. Of course. Yeah, And so they were talking about how you
- 11:39could join the PTO. What the heck is the PTO? The parents the
- 11:43paid time off parent teacher. Are you talking about the PTA? Is that
- 11:50a thing? Still? Wait a minute, is it PTO? I know
- 11:52it's the PTO. Well, I'm not going to rule it out because I
- 11:56don't know what exactly what group you joined. No, no, PTO.
- 12:01It's a formal group of parents and teachers, parents and teachers that volunteered their
- 12:05time to help with the What I'm dying to know is what the O stands
- 12:07for. That's really because I think parent teacher that's given yeah offerings. Sure,
- 12:16if I had to take a whack at it, I would bet organization.
- 12:20Oh yeah or yeah, organization used to be a association. Now we're
- 12:26just an organization, is what I'm sad said. PTOs already for paid time
- 12:28off, so I really would like them to change it, if that could
- 12:31be your first order of business as a member of the PTO. So I
- 12:33haven't filled out the paperwork yet, but I got recruited while I was there,
- 12:39and mainly because this was the energy I brought. The school colors at
- 12:43where she's going to school are the same as when I went to high school.
- 12:48Oh boy, so I just got really excited. He's the video of
- 12:50a man through my tears. We get home because Nick was home, he
- 12:54wasn't able to enjoy this. And this is as soon as we get home,
- 12:56I had to video said how excited she was. Your dad, guess
- 13:03what you're at graduating seven oh three? Guess what the school colors are?
- 13:11Blue and golds. Let's go like wooden, not deer Creek. Woo,
- 13:16and I'm joining the Ptoh well that's one way to make it about yourself.
- 13:22No, Wadina deer Creek. And she's like, what are you even talking
- 13:26about? Mom? This is my kindergarten kickoff, this is my PTO.
- 13:31I had to make light of it because I was a blubbering mess. Nick.
- 13:35Nick was videotaping me and snapchatting me to his friends because I could not
- 13:39stop crying. Are we going to do this again? Because you know that
- 13:41there's gonna be like the first day. Oh, I'm already took it off.
- 13:46Yeah, I took off August twenty six. I'm not going to be
- 13:48there everybody on your calendars. You'll want to tune in to somebody else that
- 13:52day. And I will be hosting mamosas for all the kindergarten moms or even
- 13:56just like if your kids are graduating school. I know this is gonna be
- 14:00graduate kind on graduation, and graduation is in a couple of weeks. I
- 14:05don't even want to think about first grade starting. See, I think that's
- 14:09when you're like, Okay's first grade. You know you say that, but
- 14:13I gotta feeling, you gotta feeling. I'm gonna be in tears. Yeah,
- 14:16Amanda in the morning, and now Amanda stills the seat. Let's see
- 14:22Bronte By Park Company, Reil Tours. Well, this is really scary.
- 14:24There was a shooting outside of Drake's Toronto mansion early Tuesday morning, and it
- 14:28left a security guard seriously injured who's actually still in serious condition. The shooting
- 14:33happened just after two am. Drake was not injured. He I guess maybe
- 14:37wasn't even home at the time. Security guard was just standing outside of the
- 14:41gate. Now, nobody really knows a lot about the situation. Investigators do
- 14:46say that they do have video I'm guessing security footage around the area. They
- 14:50don't know how many people were involved. Right away, everybody thought the motive
- 14:54was probably something to do with the beef with him and Kendrick Lamar. Right,
- 14:58yeah, well we're coincidence. Gotta be something, even if it wasn't
- 15:01like Kendrick himself ordering it or whatever, like at least a fan who's like
- 15:07something, don't be crazy just getting themselves involved. Yeah, they said they
- 15:09are aware of it, but they don't know the motive as of right now.
- 15:13So just icky all the way around. Everybody is like, yo,
- 15:16it's not this wrap. Beef nowadays is just so soft compared to the nineties
- 15:20when people are getting shot. Yeah, you know, I really kind of
- 15:22just like the the lyric beef. Let's keep it at that. Sure,
- 15:26I like corned beef personally. Yeah, I don't even know. You know,
- 15:31it's silly to say that, of course, but the texture I've ever
- 15:35had it. Of course you have the texture of it. It's like peeling.
- 15:39Think of like taking like pull in peel licorice. Heck do you who
- 15:43knows more about how much corn beef I've eaten? You were me Because you've
- 15:46had it. I feel like I've been with you. No you haven't.
- 15:48Yeah, back to day, We've done so many fun Saint Patti's Day things
- 15:52together, and I've never had a ruben. I don't think you had one
- 15:58at Blarnie Stone. No I didn't. It's hilarious for you to say that
- 16:02I have not eaten that. My gosh, I haven't had the whole menu
- 16:04butt that, and I'm sure I'd love it, but wowsers tough to hear
- 16:10about the security guard though, Thanks Mike. All right, I'm sure he'd
- 16:15prefer corned beef as well. Giselle still not having it with this Tom Brady
- 16:21roast. We got any rump roast conversation, roast beef would be my preference.
- 16:29Now that I've thought about it, let me guess Arby's. God,
- 16:33we've been talking about Arby's. It feels like for weeks I'd got to get
- 16:36myself a roast beef. This week really ought to be paying us. Here's
- 16:38the deal. Tom Brady's wife or ex wife, Giselle is so hurts all
- 16:45over again about this, I guess, she said, once again, and
- 16:48this is a roast all in itself. Once again he put put football before
- 16:52his family, I know. So remember he had called out Robert Kraft on
- 16:56stage like hey, or called out Kevin Hard on stage when referring to Robert
- 17:00Kraft about the massages and all that kind of stuff. It was Jeff Ross.
- 17:03But yeah, okay, one of them, get it right, get
- 17:07it get it together. I'm silly, I'm just in corn beef land.
- 17:10Over here. But anyway, Giselle saying why why couldn't you have done that
- 17:14for me? Done what said, like, hey call the dogs off,
- 17:19like let's let's play with the Giselle jokes. There was nothing that hurtful.
- 17:23Obviously, Nicky Glazer one hit that was that was brutal. What the karate
- 17:26instructor stuff? Yeah, and there was, there was. There were some
- 17:30things like I would be very uncomfortable. They did say they were not going
- 17:33after the kids, and they did not go after the kids. By the
- 17:36way, that ring they gave Tim tom Brady at the very end was both
- 17:38like forty thousand dollars and for people who didn't watch it live like us,
- 17:44they don't get to see Kim Kardashian's boo situation, which wasn't even that big
- 17:48of a deal. It was hilarious. They edited that out, like did
- 17:52she have to pay them to like, hey, let's cut this whatever.
- 17:55She embraces it. She knows he's a villain, see and that's there.
- 17:59Yeah, and I thought she handled it well. If anything, there's gonna
- 18:00be people. I actually kind of felt bad for her for a second,
- 18:04Is that right? A second, just one, just one little tiny second,
- 18:10Janna Kramer. She has a podcast and she is talking about Travis Kelcey
- 18:12always being drunk and worried about Taylor Swift. I feel like she is more
- 18:18emotionally intelligent than that. And so that's why I'm like, is he fulfilling
- 18:22all right? And not because he's an athlete or because he plays football,
- 18:25and he's always drunk every time I've ever seen a video, He's just always
- 18:29drunk. And I'm like, so I hope that she doesn't go on that.
- 18:32Like, it's just you see her. I see her drinking more now
- 18:33because of like the company you keep, right, but we've never really seen
- 18:37her in the wildways. We're seeing that more just because she's out and about.
- 18:41That's just it. You see her the videos of her, Like meanwhile,
- 18:44this song right here, for example, she's talking about being functioning alcoholic.
- 18:48You know, So I don't think she's drinking more. It's kind of
- 18:51like when you see somebody on social media and it's like, man, he's
- 18:52always got a drink in his hand. It's like, well, no,
- 18:55those are what those are the moments you're posting, absolutely so, but it
- 18:59doesn't you know, not seeing the rest of that. We did not see
- 19:02out and about for it felt like ten years. I love that she's living
- 19:06her life, doing her thing. Of course, you don't ever want anybody
- 19:08to have a problem, but let's just relax a little. I wouldn't put
- 19:11too much talk into Janet Kramer. I tell you I met her once?
- 19:15So have I? Yeah? Oh, let me guess we were together.
- 19:18I don't know. Continue. Did she ask you to marry her? No,
- 19:22but I was. I was there. Are you talking about when we
- 19:26were in Vegas? No meeting. This was at a this was at a
- 19:32different venue up on the are you making Are you making this up? I
- 19:37sla of got a met her? Okay, and she didn't ask me to
- 19:40marry her. But no, I just met her. And that's that's all
- 19:41I have as far as that story. Don't say you met her? Did
- 19:45you? Did you ask her riveting questions like roast beef for corn beef?
- 19:48Yeah, Amanda, I asked if she preferred roast be for corn beef.
- 19:52She's very attractive, so I was quite nervous she is. She is so
- 19:56pretty. Absolutely, that's what we've concluded here. Roast beef a creamer being
- 20:00a dress and just you know what, guys, I feel like we haven't
- 20:03issued enough apologies this week. Thank you, just thank you, and we're
- 20:07sorry and we just appreciate you being here. Turn it out like an in
- 20:12the morning on Big Nutty eight point seven. We've been well, you know,
- 20:18in the moment with this jam, I really like to just you know,
- 20:22spread love, spread its set the mood romanticness because there are five unique,
- 20:29yet irresistibly romantic date ideas that will impress your loft one. See.
- 20:33I love good date ideas. I feel like there's just you get stuck in
- 20:37the same little groove, don't you. They're classics for a reason, right,
- 20:41Like there's nothing better and just going out to eat, having a couple
- 20:44drinks with your left one, just feel adding that's what we do. That's
- 20:48that's a date. Absolutely, I look and I look forward to that,
- 20:51But would you look more forward to these ideas? And man, do you
- 20:53tell me like number five plants a few trees? That sounds absolutely I mean,
- 21:00a girl loves a guy who's interested in a good cause making the world
- 21:03a better place. Now, nothing is sexier. We do have a gift
- 21:07card to go buy a tree. A tree gift card. It's to a
- 21:12nursery, a local nursery, and I would have to buy a tree.
- 21:15They're free, They're all over it. We live in West Fargo. We
- 21:18have to plant them, just get an axe. We have to plant them.
- 21:22One time in high school, one of my buddies wanted a Christmas tree,
- 21:26so we just got in a truck with a saw and just went And
- 21:30I don't know whose tree it was, but we still what. We went
- 21:33grinch on that thing. Yeah, no, not out of their house,
- 21:36on their property. It might have been on somebody's property probably. So you're
- 21:40gonna go get a tree, and you guys are gonna plant it together.
- 21:41That one's gonna be a mid for me. Okay, how about number four?
- 21:45They try that. This seems more you guys horseback riding, but haven't
- 21:52been horseback riding in a while. You know. There is something about the
- 21:56just the sensation of like bouncing on that saddle and this sort of arousing what's
- 22:04next on the list? But yeah, absolutely nothing for me. You're taking
- 22:07a sip too, I think you're gonna spit that out. No, I
- 22:10take that back. I don't mean that trying to remember the last time I
- 22:12rode a horse. Okay, try go dancing. How about that for a
- 22:15romantic date idea. If there's just a good band, yeah, and you
- 22:18go somewhere with live music and dancing. That is fun. That is a
- 22:22good time, Like it reminds me of a good like summer street dance.
- 22:26Absolutely. Number two cook or dinner. Now there's a romantic dinner date idea,
- 22:32nixt Like, what is it Tuesday? That doesn't sound romantic at all.
- 22:34That sounds yeah, but it is kind of fun. We that is
- 22:37actually one of our moments together. We love cooking together, and it is
- 22:41like, that's just nice trying a new recipe, like just teamwork. You
- 22:45got one on the cutting board, the other one sawt hanging onions. Oh,
- 22:48put a bottle of wine, turn on some music, turns into its
- 22:52own little dance party that I'm a huge fan of. So he obviously loves
- 22:55to cook, so one of my favorite things. I'll just put everything out.
- 22:57I'm kind of like a Sioux chef. That's I don't know what that
- 23:00is, but it's like the assistant chef, Oh got you. I'll give
- 23:03him like ingredients or I'll send him a recipe and he'll whip it up.
- 23:07And I think I think he likes that. You think he gets them going.
- 23:10I think it might. I have that challenge accepted. I'm gonna whip
- 23:12this up for you. Nothing quite like our number one most unique and irresistibly
- 23:18romantic date idea, attend a carnival. Have you ever tried attending a carnival
- 23:23with your loved one? And if you're making this up, how intimate was
- 23:29it? You're making that up? I'm not making it up. This is
- 23:32from a literal love expert. These are tried and true idea. What it's
- 23:37fun. It's like sort of like a little Americana, like just kind of
- 23:41a throwback where you're just like put your phones away, You're just at a
- 23:45carnival walking around. You can win each other stuffed animals. I guess think
- 23:49about it, like then, what you kiss at the top of the ferris
- 23:52wheel. I don't know you into it? Yes, I don't know about
- 23:56it exactly what you do? Okay, Well I was stupid. Sorry.
- 24:00Guys, like get Amanda in the morning on big you ready to get emotional.
- 24:11You gotta make a call here I know here we go be quiet.
- 24:19Hello, Hey, good morning? Is this Rachel? Rachel? Hello,
- 24:23good morning, It's Pike and Amanda in the morning on the popular local radio
- 24:29station Big ninety eight point seven. No, good morning morning. How are
- 24:32you this morning? I'm good. I'm out locking my dog on this beautiful
- 24:36morning. Oh night, super jealous, Rachel, you're wondering what the heck
- 24:40are these? Yeah, who's calling me for? Well, here's the deal.
- 24:44We're doing this thing during Mother's Day Week. It's called our super Mom
- 24:47Hotline, and we've invited people to call into the hotline and leave a voicemail
- 24:52telling us why their mom is a super mom. And Rachel, I gotta
- 24:56say, we got a pretty compelling voicemail from a young girl named Hannah who
- 25:02you might know. Yes, my oldest. Do we have a minute just
- 25:07to hear exactly what Hannah said? Yes? Absolutely, all right here we
- 25:10go. Hey, good morning. I would like to give a shout out
- 25:14to what I believe is the best mom, nana and foster mom around,
- 25:18my mom, Rachel. She does it all. She is currently in the
- 25:22sake of motherhood with my little sister being four, while also somehow being the
- 25:27most kind and loving and gentle mom that she can to an older kid.
- 25:33I can't think of a day where she hasn't been everything for everyone at all
- 25:37times, and that is just something that's remarkable to me, with my own
- 25:42daughter being two and my littlest sister being four. She's also my best friend
- 25:48and teaches me how to be a mom myself, and you can't you can't
- 25:52get better than that than having someone guide you along the way. I love
- 25:56my mom more than anything, and I think that she really is your mom,
- 26:00and I think she's super mom to those around her, and I think
- 26:03that she definitely deserves to shout out this morning. How does that make you
- 26:08feel? Oh? It makes it so really good. Cry so you're raising
- 26:15them running? Thank you? What was the trick? How'd you? She
- 26:21sounds like an amazing daughter. I mean, how'd you do it? The
- 26:26oldest one too? Normally you need one or two to work the kinks out,
- 26:29but sounds like you got it right right out of the gate. Well,
- 26:32of course, the voicemail itself was probably the best Mother's Day gift you
- 26:36could ask for, but we actually wanted to hook you up with a couple
- 26:38of other amazing prizes for Mother's Day, including one hundred and thirty dollars gift
- 26:42card to Advanced MEDSPA to get a signature facial. Going to get a big
- 26:48bouquet of flowers from Classic Floral. One hundred dollars gift card there. And
- 26:52since you're a busy mama, you got to keep that house clean. One
- 26:55hundred dollars gift card to TLC Cleaning. Oh my god, that's so awesome.
- 26:59Thank you, you are so welcome, and thank you for just being
- 27:00a great mom. Now, if you want to leave a voicemail on the
- 27:03super Mom hotline for your mom, by all means seven oh one four nine
- 27:07nine six nine zero three, that's the number. You can also get that
- 27:11at Big nine eighty seven dot com. So sweet a minute in the morning,
- 27:15Big ninety eight point seven. I know we're all jumping aboard the Minnesota
- 27:19Timberwolves bandwagon. Of course I've always been a fan, but now you really
- 27:22have a reason to care. Is they're up tune to nothing in the second
- 27:26round of the playoffs. The other night game number two Timberwolves are playing in
- 27:30Denver, and it was the day of the game that they found out that
- 27:33Rudy Gobert, who's the Minnesota Timberwolves player defensive player of the year, one
- 27:37of the better players yep, would not be playing. You're like, oh,
- 27:41no, what are we gonna do? We need him? Well,
- 27:42it turns out his girlfriend was giving birth to their first child, and so
- 27:48he flew to be with her. Good for the birth of his baby.
- 27:51Yeah, Now, believe it or not, this was met with some criticism
- 27:56by some people, which blows my mind. I mean, I get it
- 27:59to some degree, but it is your firstborn child. And especially this isn't
- 28:03like it's the super Bowl. This is it was game two. You've got
- 28:07some games to go. Boys, you're going you're going to ghost in the
- 28:11NBA playoffs. Man, they're all the super Bowl. You need everyone now.
- 28:15Of course, now with a little hindsight here at the Timberwolves ended up
- 28:18not needing them at all. They destroyed him, but in fact they cut
- 28:21him, didn't they. He'll be back now if you missed game three,
- 28:25we'd really be criticizing him. But it was one former NBA player, Gilbert
- 28:29Arenas, who was on some show, some talking head show, and he
- 28:33was criticizing Rudy Gobert for missing the game to watch the birth of his child.
- 28:37Here he is the baby, Bro're gonna be there when you get back.
- 28:40We hope him the baby go they don't know whatever you're about to think
- 28:44you're about to do with the he gonna be sleepin, get that game.
- 28:52You want to be with your wife and smile and stuff, and you're good
- 28:55NBA healthcare insurance right because of you playing? This is cringe worthy of your
- 29:00thoughts. Oh well, I've got a couple of them. First of all,
- 29:03are these guys divorced by chance? And how many times? Because it's
- 29:08not for the baby, it's also for the mom, your wife, the
- 29:14support, she's been carrying your baby for nine months. Yeah, but don't
- 29:18you like, Okay, there is something to be said about you're a multimillion
- 29:22dollar NBA player. That's what you're paid to do. Like, with that
- 29:26job, there are sacrifices you make. Yeah, I don't care if you
- 29:29have peanuts on the side of the road. It's still what That was just
- 29:33a really bad if you have peanuts, if you only have peanuts, I
- 29:37don't I don't know that was a bad example. I'm just really worked up
- 29:41right now. No, I'm just saying, like, if you're are you
- 29:42suggesting if you was a peanuts salesman on the side of the highway, which
- 29:47I've never seen one, but see, I feel like a job like that,
- 29:51you could probably get the time off. I'm just saying in such a
- 29:55critical situation, you know, because I can agree that that is not a
- 29:59critical situation. Are you serious? It goes back to remember the Masters Golf
- 30:03tournament. Scottie Scheffer had said before the guy who ended up winning, he
- 30:06said that no matter what if his wife went into labor because she's pregnant,
- 30:10yes, that he would leave. He was even if it was out the
- 30:11day of the final day of the tournament. And you know what I have
- 30:15to say, Yeah, I'm just saying, if the Timberwolves would have lost
- 30:18that game Wolves in four, let's go. No, now you're anti wolves
- 30:25because of this conversation. It was anti wolves before, but now I'm just
- 30:26annoyed. But actually not even by him. I'm props to him. I
- 30:30actually respect him. It's these other two bobble heads that are topet okay,
- 30:33And I'm gonna go look at their track record if they're married, divorce,
- 30:37how many kids? Why don't you go research job openings as a highway peanut
- 30:41salesman. Okay,
