- 0:01It's time folks, so give a big cheer for our players playing in
- 0:06the red circle. It's player 1.
- 0:10And in the Blue Square, it's player 2.
- 0:14Player 3 is our yellow star today.
- 0:17And finally, Player 4 is in the green hexagon.
- 0:24What a wonderful group of victims.
- 0:27Contestants, I said. Contestants.
- 0:29So what type of show are we making today?
- 0:40It looks like we're visiting one of our challenge zones.
- 0:43But which one page? Which one?
- 0:46I know, Ted, we're all excited to find out.
- 0:56We're buckling up and blasting off to the Space Zone today, but
- 1:01tell me this page, what are our players playing for today?
- 1:05This wait for it, this priceless trophy of victory which was
- 1:11fashioned by hermit craftspersons who live on top of
- 1:13a snow capped mountain. But of course, they won't win
- 1:16that unless they get the most golden bricks.
- 1:20Well, do you want to do the honors?
- 1:23Ted players, go get those bricks.
- 1:42Whoa. We've blasted off to the Space
- 1:47Zone today, so get ready for an out of this world experience.
- 1:52Before we get started, would you like to know how to play Lego
- 1:55Party? Greetings, I am Mr. Goof.
- 2:02Find me the challenge zone to purchase a Golden brick round
- 2:11one start. Oh, dramatic.
- 2:15Oh thanks, I have had some theatrical training, mainly
- 2:19showing the mode for your favorite by standing on its
- 2:21square. And what a good choice by the
- 2:30players. We sure have some adventurous
- 2:32contestants in today, huh? Here comes the brick nado.
- 2:37Can you figure out which model the swirling bricks can be used
- 2:40to build? Absolutely not, but luckily I
- 2:43don't have to. That's up to the players.
- 2:46I hope they've been practicing at home.
- 3:11Go tell me this page what kind of person names their team C
- 3:20Poo. That says CPU, it's a computer
- 3:24player. Well, they should have more
- 3:25respect for themselves. And there are our winners, and
- 3:32also our losers. Go say, have you ever seen a
- 3:45real brick Nado Ted? Actually yes, my old house was
- 3:49sucked up by 1. Fortunately when the pieces fell
- 3:52down they landed as a much nicer house.
- 3:54Unfortunately it was in the middle of a lake.
- 3:57Wow, did we bust these contestants in from a university
- 4:00or something? Go Well, Paige, at this point, I
- 4:12can't say for sure how this round is going to shake out.
- 4:15Well, that's not great, Ted, because it's basically over now.
- 4:18Well, excuse me for not being psychic or good at my job.
- 4:26Let's find out built on their success over in the results
- 4:30area. It's our first results screen.
- 4:36This is a great opportunity to bathe in the glory of your
- 4:39achievements or. Go for some snacks or take a pee
- 4:43break. Oh great, you had to mention
- 4:46that. Remember, whoever collects the
- 5:03most golden bricks wins the game.
- 5:11A reminder for the viewers at home that the players finishing
- 5:14position in a mini game not only determines how many studs they
- 5:17win. But also the order in which they
- 5:19take turns during this round. I guess this is where we find
- 5:22out if they've got the teleporters working properly
- 5:25yet. I hope it wins the game for you
- 5:37my friend. Another player ventures off on
- 5:42their first turn. These lucky spaces give players
- 5:48an opportunity to win big or small or somewhere in between.
- 5:59Get this Players can choose where to head using actual
- 6:02teleporters in this zone. That's right, pick whichever
- 6:05quadrant you like and off you go.
- 6:11It's a free power up space where you can find a free power up.
- 6:18Round 2. Let's pick us a mini game,
- 6:31folks. And don't let anyone talk you
- 6:34out of your choice. What a choice.
- 6:38Oh yeah, that gains everyone's favorite.
- 6:41Well, everyone except our legal department.
- 6:43So many settlements. Grab your snowboard and get
- 6:47ready for Carve it up. That's right, it's the game.
- 6:50We're going downhill fast isn't a bad thing.
- 6:53So build up your speed, avoid those trees, and whatever you
- 6:56do, turn early. And maybe one of you will slip,
- 7:00slide and slow them their way to victory.
- 7:18I really hope they managed to stay on their feet today.
- 7:21The last thing we need is another contestant falling over
- 7:24and turning into a 50 foot wide snowball.
- 7:26How many chalets did they flatten again?
- 7:29I think it was all of them. Oh, it appears they couldn't
- 7:32hold on to 1st forever. Player 4 cannot afford.
- 7:36Sorry player 4, but you just weren't fast enough.
- 7:41Oh, and we have another elimination.
- 7:43Bye bye player 3. And they've been bumped out at
- 7:481st and who knows if they'll get back there.
- 7:52That was quite a collision between those two and that.
- 8:00Was Carbita, so let's see who wiped out.
- 8:03And who stomped it in the results area?
- 8:10I'm glad we were on that slope instead of the kids 1 today.
- 8:13Yeah, the last thing we need is some 5 year old flying past
- 8:16everyone and winning instead. And here's our first intrepid
- 8:39players. Seven chances to hit a big and
- 8:50one to make you. You've got to love the lucky
- 8:53space. It's like a tombola full of
- 8:55Austin. Now what will this player do?
- 9:00And it's goodbye to anything less than a six.
- 9:06They should really charge more. Shipping these from Lego City
- 9:10was not cheap. May it bring you luck and
- 9:13prosperity. Goodbye.
- 9:15And that's the first golden brick of this game snatched up.
- 9:19Now all they have to do is bide their time and hope nobody else
- 9:21gets one, and also that they don't lose their one.
- 9:23And no, I think that's it. It's a solid plan with only a
- 9:28few dozen flaws. A few dozen?
- 9:31That's a personal bet. I'd say they're a little light
- 9:35in the pockets to make use of Mr. Gold at the moment.
- 9:38They can't afford one of my autographed headshots though.
- 9:43Whoever lands on that event space is going to be rich.
- 9:46But who that'll be? That's something we'll have to
- 9:49find out. Up next, it's Player 3.
- 10:05If a player ends their turn on one of these spaces, they get
- 10:08free stunts for free. Mr. Gold might be about to make
- 10:15a sale. So he's branched out into
- 10:18boating accessories, has he? So what happens if a player
- 10:21doesn't have any studs to be stolen?
- 10:23They. Have to stay behind after the
- 10:24show and it's yours for us. This is round 3.
- 10:42It's time to book for the next mini game.
- 10:44Don't worry, you don't have to be over 18 to participate.
- 10:50I wonder how this will shake out.
- 10:55Get ready for a low altitude, high stakes race where the
- 10:58whirly bird gets the points. Players must race each other to
- 11:02fly through the hoops and bump into lanterns.
- 11:05Because the first player to do so gets the most points.
- 11:08Or sometimes the only points because this is helicopter
- 11:13hustle. 321 go.
- 11:41Hurry up and get through those hoops because only the first
- 11:44player gets both points. With each following player
- 11:47getting less and less. With only half the course left
- 12:03to go, the trailing players really have to give it their
- 12:06all. Whoever hits each Lantern the
- 12:10first gets all the points with nothing left for the runner up
- 12:13I. Suppose you've ever flown a
- 12:14helicopter, have you Ted? Goodness me, no.
- 12:18I did once try flying a remote controlled one last year but
- 12:21even that didn't go to plan. Last year was that when you had
- 12:25that roof up? And that's a helicopter hustle.
- 12:28So let's take a whirl over to the results area.
- 12:34And Player 2 is our winner. That's two wins in a row.
- 12:38It might be time to clear their mantelpiece for a trophy.
- 12:41And even if they don't win it bro it still needs dusting.
- 12:54Everyone get ready for the cat shuttle.
- 12:57It's a encounter of the third guy.
- 13:01It's brought treasure with it and it's not a hairball this
- 13:04time. Layer 2 is first to move.
- 13:27Best of luck to him. Welcome.
- 13:31Welcome to my emporium of golden bricks.
- 13:34See them shine. You've covered them, don't you?
- 13:39But will you buy one? Well, this should be a pretty
- 13:42easy choice to make. Oh, they haven't got enough
- 13:47moves to reach the brick? And another contestant steps up
- 13:54to the plates. As I thought, because with two
- 14:04free golden bricks on offer, where else would they?
- 14:06There's nothing better than a free golden brick.
- 14:09You leave a golden brick just laying around and someone is
- 14:13going to pick it up. And that's why I keep all mine
- 14:15in a safe, but I forgot the code so I leave it open.
- 14:19Now let's see how this contestant's turn goes.
- 14:22And another player joins club. I have a golden brick now.
- 14:25I bet it won't be long before another player joins it too.
- 14:29I hear they'll let just about anyone in.
- 14:31Well, not, not anyone. I don't believe it.
- 14:35They rolled the same number as last time.
- 14:38Are you ready for another roller coaster round of thrills and
- 14:41spills? You better be.
- 14:48Contestants, you need to vote with your fate.
- 14:51But that doesn't mean you should leave.
- 14:55That's a good one, mainly for the audience at home rather than
- 14:59the players though. It's time for Rock Paper Claw
- 15:03with the King of the Crabs himself.
- 15:06Well, that's very flattering, but oh, you mean the actual
- 15:09giant crap, right? Figure out who you've got beat
- 15:12and catch them before someone else catches you.
- 15:15First, the three points gets crowned the winner.
- 15:17Let's go. Any tips for players you can't
- 16:12remember who they should be after?
- 16:13Just one It's probably not whoever's making a beeline for
- 16:17you. And they only need one more to
- 16:27win this whole kitten caboodle. You know, some say that.
- 16:40And the final point goes to player one finish.
- 16:51That game was so exciting, it should have been pay-per-view.
- 16:55Well, that's one way we can claw back some revenue.
- 17:19A reminder for the viewers at home that the players finishing
- 17:22position in a mini game not only determines how many stunts they
- 17:25win. But also the order in which they
- 17:28take turns during this round. And when there's a tied result,
- 17:31the turn order of the tied players is chosen completely at
- 17:34random for maximum unfairness. I think I see Mr. Gold hanging
- 17:44out in this quadrant. And they do have enough stats to
- 17:46buy a brick. We're having a brick battle and
- 17:52that means playing A2V2 team based mini game where the lucky
- 17:55winners get a gold brick each. Welcome to the fast-paced game
- 18:13of the future, where players form teams of two to protect
- 18:16their wall from a speeding puck. And those teams will need tight
- 18:19coordination and lightning fast reactions if they want to
- 18:22triumph. Because the first team to three
- 18:25points is the winner. That leaves just one question.
- 18:28Are you feeling pucky? Go.
- 18:50You know, feeling pucky is a lot like life.
- 18:54How so? Because it's important to have
- 18:56goals. Goodbye wall.
- 19:00Hello rubble. There's just a single point
- 19:02between them and victory. Their opponents are only just
- 19:06behind them, though. Oh my goodness, our last point
- 19:15is an own goal. Put on some music for the last
- 19:18dance DJ. We're headed to the.
- 19:21What a match that was, but it's hard cut for the losing pair.
- 19:25Because only the winners get golden bricks.
- 19:50There's plenty around left, so it's far too early to say who'll
- 19:54win. I couldn't agree more.
- 19:56Player 4, it's going to be player 4.
- 20:03There has never been a better time to invest in golden bricks
- 20:07my friend. Garbage with your life, my
- 20:10friend. Bye.
- 20:12Bye. Nicely done Player 4.
- 20:14Absolutely. Now they've grabbed their first
- 20:16golden brick. They're off the starting line.
- 20:18Let's hope no one steals it and puts them right back on there.
- 20:26Just so you know folks, you can't teleport to the start of
- 20:29the quadrant you came from. 3 studs, you say?
- 20:36Well, it'd be rude to turn them down.
- 20:43If they want to grab a golden brick without paying for it, I'd
- 20:46say that cat shuttle is the way to go.
- 20:48It's a free power up space. So what do you think they'll
- 20:51get, Ted? Whatever it is, I say stick it
- 20:54on brick bed. And here's the last contestant
- 20:57to take their turn. There's Captain off their turn
- 21:03with a free power. Nice.
- 21:10Round 5. It's mini game boating time
- 21:24people. Which would you choose, Ted?
- 21:26Is there one which requires superhuman dexterity?
- 21:29As it happens, there is. Anything but that then.
- 21:36We're in our top secret contestant testing facility as
- 21:39we put our players through the paces.
- 21:42All they have to do is rotate their Tumblr to drop the flasks
- 21:45into their chutes. It might sound easy, but it's
- 21:48enough to make your head spin, so get ready for tumble time.
- 22:03And that's the first flask safely baked.
- 22:06Looks like someone's dropped a bomb into their Tumblr.
- 22:09Well, that seems like a clear safety violation.
- 22:12It's worse than that because if it lands in their chute, they'll
- 22:14lose a point. Player 4.
- 22:17Next time, aim for the shoot. Oh my goodness, Player 1.
- 22:22And another chemical spill to clean up for us.
- 22:24Hey, they threw a bomb onto the floor, is that allowed?
- 22:27It's not just allowed, it's the only Safeway of getting rid of
- 22:30them. Lookout Player 1.
- 22:41And that was not where to put that bomb.
- 22:45Player 4 and. They slightly misjudged that.
- 22:50Amazing work Player 2. Into the shoot it goes.
- 22:57Stop tumbling those tumblers. Time is up.
- 23:00OK, let's grade those tests and hand out some rewards.
- 23:08So do they get a certificate for passing the test?
- 23:11Kind of. We e-mail them one.
- 23:14We are so cheap. Oh, look at this.
- 23:36Coming out of that game, some of the players were tied for
- 23:39position. Interesting.
- 23:40So how did our judges decide the order of the tied players?
- 23:44Apparently they put them in order of who has the softest
- 23:47hair. If they're after a golden brick,
- 23:57then there's a someone who can help them in this quadrant.
- 24:00Or they can buy them from me for half price.
- 24:03No, Stop undercutting the game economy, Ted.
- 24:23That's +5. We'll give them an even bigger
- 24:25reach than usual. Good luck with that friends, I
- 24:43really hope it sparks joy. Studs alone will not win this
- 24:51game my friend. To secure victory you will need
- 24:55golden bricks. You have made a most sensible
- 24:58investment. Bye, bye, and now it's Player
- 25:053's turn. You know, the thief almost got
- 25:16arrested, but he got off on appeal.
- 25:20Hey there, same great service, but now with portal technology.
- 25:25Oh, a golden brick. Now you're talking.
- 25:33The good thing about dealing a golden brick is that not only do
- 25:36you have one more golden brick, someone else has one less.
- 25:39It really is a win win situation, except for the person
- 25:43who lost the brick. Well done Player 3.
- 25:52They might be the last one to get a hold of a golden brick,
- 25:54but that doesn't mean they can't win this thing.
- 25:57Although statistically it does seem less likely.
- 26:05You know one of these Bulkins is actually a qualified space
- 26:08pilot. I'm a real job man.
- 26:13What sort of person steals a golden brick from the person
- 26:17with the least of them? I think there might be some kind
- 26:19of rivalry going on behind the scenes.
- 26:22I'm guessing it's payback for something truly awful, like
- 26:25finishing a pack of cookies but leaving the fox in the cupboard.
- 26:29What kind of monster does that? That golden brick must seem
- 26:33extra shiny as it's given them the lead.
- 26:45Looks like they plan on getting their claws into the cat
- 26:48shuttle. I know which way I choose.
- 26:50Oh so close and yet so very very very very far.
- 26:57That might be overstated. Someone's about to get thrown
- 27:02off the shuttle. They're safe, Although that
- 27:11reminds me, I need to change my cat's litter.
- 27:16It's round 6. You're reading it right, folks.
- 27:19We're halfway through. It's escalation time.
- 27:28And that means higher losses on these spaces.
- 27:36Higher rewards on these spaces. And more studs for each of the
- 27:43mini games. Everyone pick a game.
- 28:02And ideally come to some sort of agreement about it.
- 28:06And it seems our contestants like a bit of mystery in their
- 28:09lives. Exciting.
- 28:14It's time to see who can follow the snails trail with the most
- 28:17accuracy. And who can do it with the most
- 28:20mistakes? This is snailed it, so get ready
- 28:24to get steady and escar go go. Just a reminder that this game
- 29:20has three rounds, so it doesn't matter if your first try doesn't
- 29:23go quite to plan. We all have bad days.
- 29:26Still we Ted. Absolutely, according to HR.
- 29:29I'm on 432 and counting. Looking at how well they copied
- 29:38that shape, you can tell a lot about our contestants,
- 29:42specifically that they haven't painted with their feet before.
- 29:56How would you sum up Player 1's play this round, Paige?
- 29:59I can't deny it's looking good for them, but they shouldn't
- 30:02count their chickens just yet. Absolutely, especially if they
- 30:06have a feather allergy. Good job layer three.
- 30:36That is some almost uncanny accuracy.
- 30:50Or be it from me to criticize Claude's drawing, but this is 1
- 30:53weird looking circle. It's an Octagram Ted.
- 30:57Oh, now you're just making up words.
- 31:02Remind me, is that a giant tree trunk and a massive snail?
- 31:06Or did we miniaturize the players again?
- 31:09The second one. Oh no.
- 31:12Well, here's hoping they can reverse the process this time.
- 31:15Tell me about it. I still got that team from last
- 31:18month living on one of my shelves.
- 31:39And there's no time for corrections because those are
- 31:42our final shapes. Let's add up the final points
- 31:45and see who plays where. And the winner is player 1.
- 31:50Talk to me about player three though, Ted.
- 31:53They need to pull themselves out of the bottom half of the pack,
- 31:56whatever it takes. Up to and including big time
- 31:58crime stuff. Absolutely.
- 32:00Maybe even high treason. I hope that's a real big help
- 32:34for you. You have a nice day now.
- 32:40Free power up space. Oh this is like a lucky dip
- 32:44except the prizes aren't garbage.
- 32:45I keep. Telling you those aren't lucky
- 32:47dips, they're trash cans. You're just jealous of that
- 32:51Apple core I won. If they're using a High Roller,
- 33:10they're either aiming for a particular space or away from
- 33:13another, or both I guess. They realize that Mister Gold
- 33:20doesn't do buy now, pay later, right?
- 33:23They better do. It's cold, hard studs or
- 33:25nothing. Well, that's the choice I guess.
- 33:28The Space Pirates can take the rest of the day off.
- 33:43This is a special space golden brick and no extra cost.
- 33:51Limiting your move options is a good way to avoid dangerous
- 33:54spaces. You can also do it by not flying
- 33:57in the 1st place, although that will severely impact your
- 34:00chances of winning. Hey there, same great service
- 34:07but now with portal technology. Sounds like my kind of caper.
- 34:14Oh man, that was their only golden brick.
- 34:17That is so unfair. I think someone might find that
- 34:20there's no TP the next time they have to use the restroom and
- 34:30with that brick they take the lead.
- 34:32What a good golden brick. Someone give it a sauce or a
- 34:35milk. If they're hoping Mr. Gold
- 34:48offers them a discount, then they're barking up the wrong
- 34:50tree. Sweet.
- 34:52A free power up just in time for their next turn.
- 34:58Round 7 Lucky for some. Mini game voting time.
- 35:12It comes earlier every year. There's our results.
- 35:24It's time for the high stakes game of Lego model building.
- 35:28Except in our game, choosing the wrong piece means you lose one
- 35:31of the right ones too. So you'd better be both fast and
- 35:35accurate if you want to win quick bricks.
- 36:03And it is not an easy build we have for the players today.
- 36:07Not at all. Even with the instructions, I
- 36:10think I probably want to set aside an afternoon to complete
- 36:13it. Now, what about Player 1's
- 36:15performance? When it comes to speed building,
- 36:18they might just be the best in the business.
- 36:21Agreed, and in this game it's a business that can pay a lot of
- 36:24stunts. Well that's second place
- 36:27decided. So who wants 3rd place the most?
- 36:45And it's game over. But I can't remember who placed
- 36:48where. Then let's put the pieces
- 36:50together over in the results area.
- 36:53Congratulations Player 2. What a win.
- 36:57Oh, that's two consecutive wins. This could be the beginning of
- 37:01something big or the end of something medium sized.
- 37:13Oh my gosh, what in the? World.
- 37:16That's right, people. The planet is really an alien.
- 37:24And it's sucking in Mr. Gold and the thief.
- 37:27Which means it's time to activate the alien repellent
- 37:31systems. So sleek and repellent.
- 37:34It was adorable. Red push buttons.
- 37:37Too, So hit those buttons that trigger the systems and you'll
- 37:40get a free golden break for your trouble.
- 38:17Luckily, there's only one player at risk of being mind controlled
- 38:20this term. Unless you hear that player, in
- 38:23which case not so lucky. At least they should be safe
- 39:06from the alien over here. Unless they get stuck here for
- 39:08another 3 rounds. Now there's a down payment on a
- 39:18golden bridge. Good idea.
- 39:34You never know when it'll come in handy.
- 40:31There's some bad news for the alien coming right up, I reckon.
- 40:42I know which one of those power ups I'd go for.
- 40:45Nope, changed my mind already. Here goes player 3.
- 40:54I get the feeling we're going to see some golden bricks awarded
- 40:57in a minute. Buckle up.
- 40:59The stakes could not be higher, folks.
- 41:12Get ready to work in teams of two to hoard as many bricks as
- 41:15you can before time runs out. Whichever team has the most
- 41:19bricks when the clock runs out wins the game.
- 41:21So who will triumph in the brick hoarding game of battling
- 41:24bulldozers? We'll only find out by playing
- 41:27peacekeepers. The.
- 42:14All this pushing and shoving, it's like a buffet down there.
- 42:18Aren't you meant to queue at buffets, Ted?
- 42:21And miss out on the cocktail wieners.
- 42:23And will you look at that? We've accidentally dropped a
- 42:27bomb into the arena. Now, unlike the bricks, you do
- 42:30not want that on your side of the arena when the time runs
- 42:33out. Because it'll blast your bricks
- 42:35far and wide and quite possibly into the opposing teams end.
- 42:39You got it, Paige. And there's another bomb to mix
- 42:42things up. We really put the cat amongst
- 42:45the pigeons, haven't we? Except instead of a cat.
- 42:48Watch out, those bombs are about to explode.
- 43:01They divided up the bricks, but now we're dividing up the
- 43:04winnings. But Who Will Win what?
- 43:08Congratulations to our expert peacekeepers.
- 43:12So here's two more for you to keep, and these are golden
- 43:15bricks. That golden brick must seem
- 43:32extra shiny as it's given them the lead.
- 43:40And here's the final contestant for this round.
- 43:53Finish your turn on a loose stunt space and you'll you can
- 43:57probably imagine but. In case you can't, it's loose
- 43:59stunts. Our players better strap in
- 44:02because it's time for the next round.
- 44:11These are the games you know what to do.
- 44:13And if you don't, then maybe try guessing.
- 44:17These players sure know what they want, huh?
- 44:23This is Martian Match, the game of unidentified flying artists.
- 44:28Pour you farts for short. Classy players pilot those
- 44:32flying saucers and copy those patterns.
- 44:35Because whoever places last will be banished to the moon.
- 44:39Now legal said we couldn't. Oh man.
- 45:06321 go. Did you want to be an astronaut
- 45:26as a kid, Ted? I still do, and I'm actually
- 45:29pretty close to doing it Once I've got those last few
- 45:32fireworks strapped to the side of my car.
- 45:34I am out of here. Way to go player 1.
- 45:42All three patterns complete, it's.
- 45:44And that final ignition means this game is all.
- 45:47Over, let's get back down to earth and take a look at the
- 45:50results. I wonder if we'll ever know what
- 45:54those mysterious alien patterns meant.
- 45:56I think they were AQR code for our merch site.
- 46:14And with one unlucky player in the alien sites, they're going
- 46:17to need to get a move on or get Psychic P.
- 46:20Or they find a way to put someone else in danger.
- 46:27And that's the first of the free Golden Bricks graph.
- 46:37I hope that mining robot knows that this isn't a drill.
- 46:41Although they are going to use one to tickle that alien sensor.
- 47:03I suspect someone's about to get richer to the tune of 1 Golden
- 47:08Brick. Who else slather me in low
- 47:12calorie mayonnaise? It's a lucky space.
- 47:15But how lucky? That's up to our contestant.
- 47:18I'd cross my fingers for him but I don't have any.
- 47:21So what free power up is on the cards for them today?
- 47:27There are better places to end your turn than slap bang in
- 47:31front of the alien people. Goodness me, they've rolled the
- 47:35same number again. It's not a bad idea to keep out
- 47:40of the aliens way. Yeah, he's not exactly known for
- 47:43warm hugs or a friendly demeanor.
- 47:45There's just one more contestant to go.
- 47:49Oh boy, there goes the second golden brick.
- 47:52There's only two left. Now that might.
- 47:59Just be the brick that. Our alien friend certainly won't
- 48:02relish what's about to happen to it.
- 48:05I expected flying saucer, not flying sauce.
- 48:29Heading to this quadrant should keep them safe from getting
- 48:32zapped by the alien. Well, for now.
- 48:35It's time to crunch some asteroids and pop out a pride.
- 48:45And with one psychic theme from the alien, our players Duck
- 48:48Count is devastated. I hope they weren't saving to
- 48:51buy someone a birthday present. Oh, or a golden brick I guess.
- 48:56With two rounds left, even if you can't win, you can still
- 49:00make someone else lose. Hey, hey, everyone's on the same
- 49:09page. Or rather, everyone's on the
- 49:11same little square platform Doohickey.
- 49:14Welcome to the sport of the future.
- 49:16Use your ship to knock the UFO out of your opponent's areas.
- 49:20And into yours. Keep it there for long enough
- 49:22and you'll win the game. This is Saucer Lord.
- 49:5032 go go. Good news for player three
- 49:57there. That little move is just put
- 49:59them in the first place. Player 3 will love that.
- 50:30They're sitting pretty at the top of the table now.
- 50:38Oh, when they were so close to winning.
- 50:41Can they get it back before someone else plays up?
- 50:44And that's how you saucer Lord folks.
- 50:46Let's look at the results. Nice job player 3A, well
- 50:55deserved win. It's been a little while coming,
- 50:57but that's their first win. It must feel good to finally try
- 51:01them. Right.
- 51:03If you ask me. It's high time we headed back to
- 51:05the challenge, though. It looks like the aliens mind
- 51:24control ray is going to miss all the players this turn.
- 51:29Player 3 getting the round started here.
- 51:34Now, will this +5 get them into double digits?
- 51:40They can score themselves a free golden brick and show that alien
- 51:44who's boss here. It's a free power up space.
- 51:53So what do you think they'll get, Ted?
- 51:55Whatever it is, I say stick it on brick bed and here's our next
- 51:59player. Heading to this quadrant should
- 52:22keep them safe from getting zapped by the alien.
- 52:24Well, for now. Oh, they could be raking in the
- 52:31stud. Soon dropped all their money on
- 52:33their lawn, Huh? We've all been there.
- 52:50It's a lucky space where the worst thing that can happen is
- 52:53still great and there's one more player left.
- 53:04I'm not sure how lucky those eights are when there's seven of
- 53:07them to choose from. Who will be the lucky player to
- 53:14grab the final freebie? And our alien menace is about to
- 53:27get one of its five a day, courtesy of our banana rang.
- 53:31Oh yeah, there's no chance of the alien giving this one the
- 53:34slip. All they need to do in this
- 54:00quadrant is be the first to activate the alien repellent.
- 54:06Lucky spaces require critical time.
- 54:08The last thing they need is a destruction.
- 54:12Eyes on the prize. It's the final round.
- 54:16With things this tight at the top of the scoreboard, I think
- 54:19we're in for an exciting time. Oh.
- 54:22Boy, it's escalation time again. And.
- 54:25That means even harsher penalties on these spaces.
- 54:29Even higher rewards on these spaces.
- 54:34And even higher rewards for the mini games.
- 54:39Plus we're changing all the free power up spaces to ones which
- 54:43give you studs. It's the final round so we're
- 54:52shutting the shop. But don't worry, because we're
- 54:55opening a. Chance space in its place.
- 55:02The final mini game will today's game.
- 55:04End on a high. They'll or whoever's in last
- 55:07place, almost. Certainly not.
- 55:09As I recall the last time we played this game, our
- 55:12contestants had some questions about it, but the main one being
- 55:15how did a bear get loose in here?
- 55:17Get ready for the point packed, precision propelled person
- 55:20pursuit that's taking the world by storm.
- 55:23Flop onto your backs and bellies and slide around.
- 55:25Our icy rink stop on the high scores and avoid the lows.
- 55:29Because you've only three chances to make the most of your
- 55:33slide hustle. This might only be the first
- 55:50round, but the game could. Be won or lost here.
- 55:54Way to ease them in, Ted. Well, that round didn't separate
- 56:14the pack much. Should we do a do over?
- 56:17You want to work longer today? Good point.
- 56:20Next round. It looks extra cold down there
- 56:23today. I hope they've got the.
- 56:25Industrial sized VAT of cocoa ready for after this round.
- 56:29Well, they did. Oh, Ted, I left them some
- 56:34marshmallows. Well.
- 56:38That round didn't work out well for everyone.
- 56:40Huh. You're not wrong, Lady.
- 56:42Luck is clearly. Picking favorites today?
- 56:44No. And that's the game.
- 57:09Let's flop. Onto our bellies and slide.
- 57:11Over to the results. Tell him Ted and player four
- 57:18wins. Top prize.
- 57:21But what about Player 1? Ted.
- 57:24That is their second time in last place.
- 57:26I hope they're. Not getting comfortable there.
- 57:30Layers got lucky there. None of them are in.
- 57:32Danger from the alien psychic being at the moment, you can all
- 57:37breathe a sigh of relief. Well, as someone likes rolling
- 57:41the same number. Every round.
- 57:57Cool boy. This particular device is a.
- 57:59Triple threat? But I don't think you'll get
- 58:02three times the prize. And it's good riddance to the
- 58:08alien menace and. Hello again to Mr. Gold and the
- 58:11thief. Let's hope that's the last we
- 58:14see of. Space monsters for the best of
- 58:16the game. It's a lucky space where you're
- 58:47guaranteed. To come out on top and another
- 58:50player sets off on their final. Turn.
- 58:58It's a lucky space and don't worry because.
- 59:00All of that luck is the good kind.
- 59:03Now how will this contestant spend their final turn?
- 59:08If I was playing. I'd have the speed set to this.
- 59:11All the time. Very sincerest and humblest
- 59:28gratitude. For rescuing me, but no
- 59:31discounts. You have my gratitude.
- 59:34Now I must go away. And the final player takes their
- 59:42bow. They've landed on a lucky space,
- 1:00:07so clearly they're. Already.
- 1:00:08Wow, what a game that was. I can't believe it's over, but
- 1:00:12it is over and that means someone.
- 1:00:15'S about to get a trophy, but who?
- 1:00:18Paige who? Sorry, but we'll have to head
- 1:00:21back to the studio. To find that out.
- 1:00:32I don't think I've ever seen a game which was that hard.
- 1:00:35Fought Ted. Me either, and some of them have
- 1:00:38actually come to. Blows, contestants, come on in.
- 1:00:46OK, let's not keep them waiting, Ted.
- 1:00:48How? Did everyone do in fourth place?
- 1:00:51It's. Player 3 better luck next time.
- 1:00:57Unless this was your next time, in which case.
- 1:01:00Better luck next next time, unless this was your next next
- 1:01:04time. Keep it moving, Ted, and sliding
- 1:01:06into. 3rd it's. Player 10 it.
- 1:01:11Was. So close.
- 1:01:13Or maybe it? Wasn't, we weren't really
- 1:01:15keeping track. Yeah, sorry.
- 1:01:17We were really concentrating on. First and last.
- 1:01:23Now hold on to your hats and any other loose.
- 1:01:26Clothing as we reveal the first place winner and that winner is.
- 1:01:34Player 2. All of which.
- 1:01:39Means our runner up is player. 4.
- 1:01:46Come on, bring in that trophy. But.
- 1:01:51Congratulations to all our players.
- 1:01:53Whether you won or not, you made this show what it was.
- 1:01:57Yeah. Of all the shows we've ever
- 1:01:58recorded, this is. Certainly one of them.
- 1:02:09And assuming this episode doesn't get us taken off the.
- 1:02:11Air, we'll see you on the next edition of Lego Party.
