- 0:04Speaker 1: NFL Game Deview is a production of the NFL in
- 0:06Speaker 1: partnership with iHeartRadio.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Everybody, Welcome to a game deaveut, Patrick Clayboud here with
- 0:14Speaker 2: Cynthia Freelan. You may be asking where's Greg Rosenthal. He's
- 0:17Speaker 2: in Dublin for the Viking Steepers. Next. Yeah, fear not
- 0:20Speaker 2: Greg Nation or wherever he calls you guys. We'll get
- 0:23Speaker 2: all of his picks for you today on the show.
- 0:26Speaker 2: Last week a rough one for a lot of folks,
- 0:29Speaker 2: specifically me. I went seven to nine, Cynthia and Greg
- 0:31Speaker 2: went aid to eight. But that means that she maintains
- 0:36Speaker 2: that crown upon her head. Thirty one and seventeen on
- 0:42Speaker 2: the season. Speaking of good records, what about the head
- 0:46Speaker 2: to head record for Patrick Mahomes against Lamar Jackson including
- 0:49Speaker 2: the playoffs five to one. There. Now, there are those
- 0:54Speaker 2: who may note that they play against the opposing defense, and.
- 0:58Speaker 3: Not necessarily I'm one of those.
- 1:00Speaker 2: I'm as well. But we give you this because this
- 1:03Speaker 2: is what the people care about. Look at the fresh
- 1:05Speaker 2: edition of Lamar Versus Mahomes Sunday and Arrowhead. One of
- 1:08Speaker 2: these teams is going to be one in three After
- 1:09Speaker 2: Sunday Grant picked the Baltimore Ravens. What are you picking? Simple?
- 1:13Speaker 4: I too am picking the Baltimore Ravens, but just by
- 1:16Speaker 4: one point twenty four twenty three. It turns out having
- 1:20Speaker 4: Justin Mattabika not there nom the Matta bk excuse me
- 1:22Speaker 4: not there is a big problem. And that's why it's
- 1:25Speaker 4: just a one point win. But I'm looking at Derrick
- 1:27Speaker 4: Henry and I know some people have had some questions,
- 1:29Speaker 4: what's going on these fumbles? What's going on with Derrick Henry?
- 1:32Speaker 4: And I'm telling you that he is going to be
- 1:35Speaker 4: a much better spot. And Mark Andrews is also going
- 1:38Speaker 4: to help. We saw him return last week against the Lions.
- 1:41Speaker 4: He was there on Crusil Down's third down in the
- 1:43Speaker 4: red area when they needed to get another first down,
- 1:46Speaker 4: they relied on Mark Andrews. All of whatever happened in
- 1:49Speaker 4: that game against that other red team that we're not
- 1:52Speaker 4: going to talk about, that is all over with now
- 1:54Speaker 4: and Mark Andrews opportunity and this.
- 1:56Speaker 3: One is massive.
- 1:58Speaker 4: It is a big deal to target this defense with
- 2:00Speaker 4: multiple pass.
- 2:01Speaker 3: Catchers, and Mark Andrews' contribution will be massive.
- 2:04Speaker 2: It was odd to see Lamar back there waiting for
- 2:07Speaker 2: guys to come open, not necessarily able to get away
- 2:09Speaker 2: from the Lions rush. I'm looking at this matchup against
- 2:12Speaker 2: the Chiefs. I've got a one point win for the
- 2:14Speaker 2: home team, the Kansas City Chiefs getting a win against Baltimore. Yes,
- 2:18Speaker 2: I'll take a stray band against my team, and Philip
- 2:20Speaker 2: will accuse me of a reverse jinx. But I'm thinking
- 2:23Speaker 2: back to Labar in that game, not necessarily having anywhere
- 2:26Speaker 2: to go, waiting for guys to get open. The guy
- 2:27Speaker 2: on the other side, Patrick Mahomes, He's not waiting for
- 2:30Speaker 2: guys to get open because the Kansasity Chiefs aren't getting open.
- 2:33Speaker 2: He's having to do it all by himself. He scrambled
- 2:35Speaker 2: on fifteen point three percent of his dropbacks this season.
- 2:38Speaker 2: The Chiefs have nine explosive rushes all season long. Seven
- 2:42Speaker 2: of them are Patrick Mahomes scrambling. He's got the team
- 2:46Speaker 2: on his back, and I think that's good enough for
- 2:48Speaker 2: him to maintain a streak of not having three losses
- 2:52Speaker 2: in September something.
- 2:53Speaker 3: That's there's eleven players on offense.
- 2:56Speaker 4: Yeah, we're asking number fifteen to do like seventy five
- 3:00Speaker 4: percent of everything.
- 3:01Speaker 2: Consistently, and it hasn't worked.
- 3:03Speaker 3: Out but a lot. So let's ask of anyone.
- 3:06Speaker 2: I think it's gonna work out. Tom for Who's Eating Good?
- 3:08Speaker 2: Presented by Applebee's Cynthia Well. Derrick Henry run for more
- 3:12Speaker 2: or less than eighty four and a half yards against
- 3:14Speaker 2: Kansas City.
- 3:15Speaker 4: I am a Derrick Henry fan for so many reasons,
- 3:18Speaker 4: but taking my fandom out of it, the answer is more.
- 3:20Speaker 4: I haven't projected for ninety three yards. Why because he's
- 3:24Speaker 4: facing light boxes at a higher rate, so more light boxes. Sure,
- 3:28Speaker 4: he's been stuffed more often this season. Teams are ready
- 3:31Speaker 4: for him in a very different way. Father time, we
- 3:34Speaker 4: get it. He's undefeated over time, blob.
- 3:36Speaker 2: I don't care.
- 3:37Speaker 4: Derrick Henry is still the man. I'm looking at these
- 3:39Speaker 4: explosive rushes. There is a reason that Baltimore leads the
- 3:41Speaker 4: league in explosive rush rate.
- 3:43Speaker 2: Yeah, King Henry, the Ravens, everyone else though, all chasing
- 3:46Speaker 2: last year's champions of Philadelphia Eagles and Philly came back
- 3:50Speaker 2: to win in dramatic fashion a week ago against LA
- 3:54Speaker 2: Have they blocked us? Had they fussed us?
- 3:58Speaker 5: Then?
- 3:59Speaker 2: He hasn't missed the season other than the block. Well,
- 4:02Speaker 2: this will be a good time. This is for the game.
- 4:06Speaker 2: Hold your breast. The Bulls spotted. The kick is a
- 4:11Speaker 2: way block. It's block expected, not by the Eagles. Won
- 4:15Speaker 2: me what it is? Davis? Thirty twenty ten fine touchdown
- 4:21Speaker 2: Dave O George Davis? Are you jagging me? What come
- 4:25Speaker 2: my gun? Are you? Jannick Walk?
- 4:27Speaker 1: Oh my god?
- 4:28Speaker 2: Have you ever seen anything like this? As a final score,
- 4:32Speaker 2: it's thirty three to twenty six, Pandemonium and Philly and
- 4:38Speaker 2: just a no sell from Jalen Hurts. The Philly now
- 4:40Speaker 2: heading to Tampa, both squad sitting at three and oh,
- 4:43Speaker 2: Mike Evans is out for the Bucks, but there is
- 4:45Speaker 2: a chance Chris Godwin's playing, Greg is taking the Birds.
- 4:49Speaker 2: What about you something?
- 4:50Speaker 4: I am also taking the Birds, but just by two
- 4:52Speaker 4: points twenty four to twenty two. And it isn't on
- 4:55Speaker 4: last minute heroics life last week, but it is on
- 4:58Speaker 4: something that happened in the second half, and that's the
- 5:00Speaker 4: return of the past by Jalen Hurts.
- 5:02Speaker 3: Is specifically the past that traveled at least ten yards.
- 5:05Speaker 4: This is something that for the first ten quarters of
- 5:08Speaker 4: the Eagle season, they were just two of seven attempts
- 5:11Speaker 4: on any pass that was over ten air yards.
- 5:14Speaker 3: That's a pretty crazy, ridiculous number.
- 5:17Speaker 4: Now it's back. The mojo is back there flowing. Now
- 5:20Speaker 4: you can run, now you can pass. Both things will
- 5:22Speaker 4: be elevated because of the past being back, So the
- 5:25Speaker 4: run will get better from that as well.
- 5:27Speaker 3: The touch push. We get it. It is infallible pretty much right,
- 5:30Speaker 3: but now we have the pass game to go along
- 5:33Speaker 3: with it.
- 5:33Speaker 4: This is good news against the Bucks, who again, without
- 5:35Speaker 4: Mike Evans, things are different. So perhaps all the whole
- 5:38Speaker 4: game plan complimentary football is different without him.
- 5:41Speaker 2: Yeah, not just Mike Evans. The Bucks have had to
- 5:42Speaker 2: overcome a whole bunch of injuries, so many are here
- 5:44Speaker 2: in twenty twenty five. I have the same exact court
- 5:47Speaker 2: Cynthia does twenty four to Twitter plan twin no conversation,
- 5:52Speaker 2: just matching, matching the whole way through. I think there's
- 5:55Speaker 2: more points than some people might think. Shout out to
- 5:57Speaker 2: al Michaels. But you know the theme of the show.
- 6:00Speaker 2: I don't have to be a tongue in cheap with
- 6:02Speaker 2: regards to that because the necond Buka has huge opportunity
- 6:05Speaker 2: with no Mike Evans and maybe no Chris Godwin there.
- 6:09Speaker 2: But the problem is with the Eagles Quinyon Mitchell has
- 6:12Speaker 2: such a significant impact. He's moving around more, and I
- 6:15Speaker 2: Buket just isn't as good in the slot this season,
- 6:18Speaker 2: He's only had twenty seven yards, whereas out wide he
- 6:21Speaker 2: has a lot of success. But out wide you're gonna
- 6:23Speaker 2: run into twenty seven. I still think there's a lot
- 6:26Speaker 2: of points, perhaps more points than some people might think.
- 6:30Speaker 4: I was gonna do an Al Michael's impersonation, but I
- 6:32Speaker 4: will save.
- 6:32Speaker 3: Everywhere from that.
- 6:33Speaker 2: No cympion. It's vegetable, so we can't do that. Our
- 6:35Speaker 2: next matchup takes us to lovely Dublin, Ireland.
- 6:41Speaker 5: The Minnesota Vikames and Pittsburgh Steelers in Dublin, ironlandc.
- 6:50Speaker 2: Are you kidding me?
- 6:52Speaker 6: Rogers fire doesn't even.
- 6:57Speaker 2: Jim Son, you are not big enough to ride this
- 7:00Speaker 2: right teaching walk with the sack whoa c in Dublin,
- 7:11Speaker 2: My brother snooze off game on Sunday Morning Football kicks
- 7:16Speaker 2: it Off in Dublin, presented by Madden. NFL twenty sixth
- 7:19Speaker 2: Justin Jefferson and the Vikings versus Aaron Rodgers and the
- 7:22Speaker 2: Steelers Sunday nine thirty Eastern, only on NFL Network and
- 7:26Speaker 2: streaming with NFL plus subscript from required for NFL plus
- 7:29Speaker 2: visit plus dot NFL dot com four terms. This should
- 7:34Speaker 2: be a good one for the fans there in Dublin.
- 7:36Speaker 2: The Vikings rolled the Bengals last week, while Rodgers has
- 7:39Speaker 2: the Steelers sitting at two to one. Let's send it
- 7:41Speaker 2: over to our dear friend Greg Rosenthal, who's in Dublin
- 7:44Speaker 2: for the game.
- 7:47Speaker 6: I'm here in front of the National Concert Hall in Dublin,
- 7:51Speaker 6: and you thought I wasn't gonna get a good shot. Well,
- 7:53Speaker 6: I also got to pick for this game. I am
- 7:55Speaker 6: going Vikings nineteen seventeen. Aaron Rodgers is dead last in
- 8:01Speaker 6: the NFL this season in terms of completion percent under pressure.
- 8:05Speaker 6: And you know who loves to send pressure and get pressure.
- 8:08Speaker 6: It's Brian Flores and this Vikings defense. He sent Aaron
- 8:11Speaker 6: Rodgers home crying last year from London. This year he
- 8:15Speaker 6: will be drowning his sorrows in some guinness after the game.
- 8:19Speaker 2: Thanks Greg. Also thanks to the man in the hat
- 8:21Speaker 2: who walked behind Greg at the finish there. Do you agree?
- 8:23Speaker 2: Do you have the Minnesota Vikings?
- 8:24Speaker 4: Well, I'm glad Greg could take away time from his
- 8:27Speaker 4: busy guinness drinking schedule to join us, but I do
- 8:29Speaker 4: have the same winner as him, but just by one point.
- 8:31Speaker 4: I have twenty two to twenty one in this matchup.
- 8:34Speaker 3: And it's really interesting about the run game for Minnesota.
- 8:37Speaker 3: Greg brought up a great point about the Minnesota defense,
- 8:40Speaker 3: but defense plus run game equals wins.
- 8:43Speaker 4: And Jordan Mason is a guy who came in in
- 8:45Speaker 4: relief of Christian McCaffrey last season, averaged more than ninety
- 8:48Speaker 4: four yards in those starts over the course of those starts.
- 8:51Speaker 3: And last week he picked up kind of where.
- 8:53Speaker 4: Aaron Jones left off after he left. So I'm looking
- 8:56Speaker 4: at this and then you look at the Steelers defense.
- 8:57Speaker 4: They've allowed twenty eight missed tackles. They've missed twenty eight tackles,
- 9:01Speaker 4: so they did twenty two of them in weeks one
- 9:03Speaker 4: and two. Just last week against the pass but that
- 9:05Speaker 4: game was full of weirdo turnovers and odd things. So
- 9:09Speaker 4: I'm thinking that Kevin O'Connell will get Jordan Mason the
- 9:12Speaker 4: ball in space, both in the catching game as well
- 9:15Speaker 4: as on the ground.
- 9:15Speaker 2: Yeah, the designs work out for the Minnesota Vikings in
- 9:18Speaker 2: this one, and against the Steelers defense that's given up
- 9:21Speaker 2: thirty points per Game two, everybody that didn't turn the
- 9:23Speaker 2: ball over five times. That's an official stat from my statistics.
- 9:28Speaker 3: Good job.
- 9:28Speaker 2: Your model says, yeah, my model says the Vikings win
- 9:31Speaker 2: at twenty eight to twenty four because Aaron Rodgers, yes,
- 9:34Speaker 2: mem Us away Steelers fans has to deal with the
- 9:37Speaker 2: blitz coming from Brian Flores and this veteran defense. They
- 9:41Speaker 2: can do so many different things. You could see Mattellus
- 9:44Speaker 2: in the box showing blitz and then he's the deep
- 9:47Speaker 2: safety in like a cover three on the sideline where
- 9:49Speaker 2: guys are moving around. They get Andrew ben Ginkle back
- 9:52Speaker 2: for his second game back. There's just a lot to do,
- 9:55Speaker 2: and in terms of which quarterback is gonna have to
- 9:57Speaker 2: do more, it feels like Aaron Rodgers needs to do
- 10:00Speaker 2: a whole lot more than Carson Wentz against the much
- 10:03Speaker 2: better defense. But we do feel comfortable with the Minnesota
- 10:06Speaker 2: Michael get getting a win for a great crowd in Dublin.
- 10:09Speaker 4: They would move to five and oh internationally as well.
- 10:11Speaker 4: They're four and oh right now, five wins abroad.
- 10:13Speaker 2: They just can't be stopped.
- 10:16Speaker 1: I bought to Dallas Cowboys with a handshake, handshak.
- 10:19Speaker 2: Jerry Jones said, that handshake deal with Michael Parsons. That's it.
- 10:24Speaker 6: He'd be the highest guaranteed player on defense, and then
- 10:27Speaker 6: we were going to send it over to the agent.
- 10:30Speaker 2: The agent, so it was to stick it up. Same
- 10:34Speaker 2: way did Jerry Jones take care of their family? The
- 10:36Speaker 2: same way I need to take care of my family.
- 10:39Speaker 2: We really got three years to work this thing. Ow
- 10:41Speaker 2: I did that with stat you, me and Mike have talked.
- 10:44Speaker 2: I don't have the full answer for it. I think
- 10:46Speaker 2: all of mine would have been done a lot earlier
- 10:48Speaker 2: than they were playing. His media game with Jerry is
- 10:50Speaker 2: not fun. But I do want Michael to get paid.
- 10:53Speaker 2: Michael Parsons requested a trade away from the Cowboys.
- 10:57Speaker 5: Jerry, are you considering trading Michael Parsons negotiation talk?
- 11:02Speaker 2: That's where I put that if they don't want me
- 11:05Speaker 2: to hear, they don't want me to hear, well, if
- 11:07Speaker 2: this is dead, this is dad.
- 11:09Speaker 4: Micah Parsons to the Green Bay Packers forty seven million
- 11:13Speaker 4: dollars per year.
- 11:14Speaker 2: It came quick, but that's the way things go.
- 11:17Speaker 1: I think a lot of Micah don't want.
- 11:19Speaker 2: Him to have success, want to play the Cowboys. I
- 11:21Speaker 2: do want him to have overall success. Oh, like the
- 11:26Speaker 2: Sands in the hour glass, time first seized the season
- 11:28Speaker 2: presented by Caesar's Sportsbook. As we look at the first
- 11:31Speaker 2: touchdown score odds according to our friends over there at
- 11:34Speaker 2: Season sports Book, Josh Jacobs negative two thirteen, javontey at
- 11:37Speaker 2: plus one thirty five, George Pickens at plus one forty five,
- 11:40Speaker 2: Romeo Dobs and Jake Ferguson rounding out the list. It
- 11:44Speaker 2: is going down Sunday night in Dallas, Michaeh Parsons versus
- 11:47Speaker 2: Jerry and the Boys. Although Jerry's not playing, Greg is
- 11:50Speaker 2: riding with the Green Bay Packers. Are you leaning into
- 11:52Speaker 2: particular directions? India?
- 11:54Speaker 4: As much as I like the drama and shout out
- 11:56Speaker 4: to whoever our editor is, who got the cdee lamb
- 12:00Speaker 4: tackling the Sideliner raphtics that was I mean, that was masterful.
- 12:03Speaker 4: But I still have Green Bay winning. It's not a
- 12:05Speaker 4: dramatic one for my finish year twenty eighth to twenty.
- 12:08Speaker 4: In this matchup, I agree with Caesars.
- 12:10Speaker 3: I think Josh.
- 12:11Speaker 4: Jacobs finds the end zone in this one perhaps first, sure,
- 12:14Speaker 4: why not? It doesn't matter when in my predictions, but
- 12:17Speaker 4: I look at the opportunity here from against this defense.
- 12:21Speaker 4: I know that we talked about or Jerry Jones talked
- 12:23Speaker 4: about fixing the Cowboys run events that seems to have
- 12:27Speaker 4: yet to have occurred. And when you're looking at the
- 12:31Speaker 4: opportunity to kind of keep Jordan Love in the situation
- 12:34Speaker 4: where he gets to exploit the fact that this defense
- 12:36Speaker 4: plays only zone like seventy four percent of the time.
- 12:39Speaker 3: It's through run and pass.
- 12:40Speaker 4: And we know that Josh Jacobs, he just broke his
- 12:42Speaker 4: streak of having eleven touchdowns in eleven games. Last week,
- 12:45Speaker 4: he did not have one. This week he starts the
- 12:48Speaker 4: new streak touchdown.
- 12:49Speaker 2: Yeah, mister Jones would like the team to improve against
- 12:51Speaker 2: the run. I think they should also improve against the pass.
- 12:53Speaker 2: If only they were a very talented edge rusher that
- 12:56Speaker 2: they can employ against the opposer.
- 12:58Speaker 3: Here would you find one of that?
- 12:59Speaker 2: I guess you find them in Green Bay, Wisconsin. But
- 13:01Speaker 2: he's going to be coming into Jerry World where they
- 13:03Speaker 2: will be playing a tribute video for Micah Parsons. But
- 13:07Speaker 2: maybe they could show some of this on tape. The
- 13:10Speaker 2: opposing team averaging nine point five air yards per attempt
- 13:14Speaker 2: against the Dallas Cowboys. That's the fourth most in the NFL,
- 13:18Speaker 2: and I know they're happy to get Treyvon Diggs back.
- 13:19Speaker 2: He has not forced a single tight window throw on
- 13:22Speaker 2: any of his eight targets faced in twenty twenty five.
- 13:25Speaker 2: It's been a rough go for Matt Eberfluse and for
- 13:28Speaker 2: the Dallas Cowboys defense. But I'm projecting them score twenty
- 13:31Speaker 2: eight points because I think there may be some garbage
- 13:34Speaker 2: time involved. Just a lot of points here. Not all
- 13:37Speaker 2: of them are gonna necessarily matter, but you know, people
- 13:42Speaker 2: like scores, people like fantasy season. The season is brought
- 13:44Speaker 2: to you by Caasars Sportsbook. New users can bet one
- 13:47Speaker 2: dollar to boost their next twenty bets by one hundred percent.
- 13:49Speaker 2: Must be twenty one or older. See Caesars dot com
- 13:52Speaker 2: slash promos in order to get the full terms the
- 13:57Speaker 2: highest over unders of the week for Week four, The
- 14:00Speaker 2: Colts and the Rams leading the way at forty nine
- 14:03Speaker 2: and a have just ahead of the Ravens and the Chiefs,
- 14:05Speaker 2: the Saints and the Bills, Bears, Raiders and Packers Cowboys
- 14:09Speaker 2: rounding out this group. The Caesars has the Colts in
- 14:13Speaker 2: the Rams again projected as the highest scoring game of
- 14:15Speaker 2: the week, and he's still undefeated Rams coming off a
- 14:18Speaker 2: rough one, that heartbreaker we saw earlier to the Eagles.
- 14:20Speaker 2: Greg is taking the Rams here, and I agree, I've
- 14:23Speaker 2: got a twenty six to twenty four win for Los Angeles,
- 14:26Speaker 2: although a lot hinges on the health of one Devonte
- 14:30Speaker 2: Adams in this Rams passing attack miss practice a couple
- 14:34Speaker 2: of days this week, and Matthew Stafford very very good
- 14:38Speaker 2: as he's traditionally on play actions, completed twenty eight of
- 14:41Speaker 2: his thirty eight pay play action pass attempts for three
- 14:44Speaker 2: hundred and sixty nine yards that's the second most in
- 14:47Speaker 2: the league and four touchdowns, which is the most in
- 14:49Speaker 2: the league. The Colts have allowed one hundred and twelve
- 14:52Speaker 2: passing yards and a thirty six seven percent drop back
- 14:55Speaker 2: success rate the quarterbacks on play action now, is that
- 14:58Speaker 2: because the quarterbacks they've played have been like Tua in
- 15:01Speaker 2: a bad year, cam Warden is very first year or
- 15:05Speaker 2: bo Nick's having a rough start to his twenty twenty
- 15:08Speaker 2: five or are those guys having rough starts because they've
- 15:10Speaker 2: played the Colts? We will see something.
- 15:12Speaker 3: My answer is both.
- 15:14Speaker 4: Because I have the upset here give prime number here.
- 15:18Speaker 4: That's a lovely little noise that we'd played there twenty
- 15:21Speaker 4: five to twenty four, just a one point upset for
- 15:24Speaker 4: the Colts.
- 15:24Speaker 3: We've been talking a lot about Daniel.
- 15:26Speaker 4: Jones this season for very good reason, but who is
- 15:28Speaker 4: helping him out Jonathan Taylor, who is absolutely crushing it.
- 15:32Speaker 4: One of the stats that really stood out to me
- 15:34Speaker 4: in this matchup is the fact that on third down,
- 15:37Speaker 4: guess which team has the lowest yards to go in
- 15:40Speaker 4: the National footballing game?
- 15:41Speaker 2: Is it the Colt It is?
- 15:42Speaker 4: Oh my goodness, you know why this is happening because
- 15:45Speaker 4: they're using diversity of play calling on first and second down,
- 15:48Speaker 4: and Jonathan Taylor is doing craziness madness like this.
- 15:52Speaker 3: He's doing it against good defense as too.
- 15:54Speaker 4: That was just the Broncos defense in that last highlight
- 15:57Speaker 4: here it is again that's a good defense right there,
- 16:00Speaker 4: ladies and gentlemen.
- 16:01Speaker 3: He is getting open. This scheme is working, the past
- 16:04Speaker 3: game works with their ready. It's almost like these things
- 16:06Speaker 3: go together, guys. You know, it's just a good opportunity
- 16:09Speaker 3: for both. So Jonathan Taylor, let's give him.
- 16:11Speaker 4: I feel like we know we talked about like all
- 16:13Speaker 4: these other ruddy where's Jonathan Taylor in this discussion?
- 16:15Speaker 2: Yeah, one of the better players in the NFL this season,
- 16:18Speaker 2: and yeah, when Cynthia's got a prime number this season
- 16:21Speaker 2: that has been deep blue bloo peep wearing that crown.
- 16:23Speaker 2: Still to come to Caleb and the Bears really figured
- 16:25Speaker 2: things out last week or was it just a mirage?
- 16:28Speaker 2: The Cowboys defense is a little shaky. Ben Johnson's squad
- 16:31Speaker 2: heading to Sin City to take on Gino and the
- 16:33Speaker 2: Raiders are picks for that one and more coming up
- 16:36Speaker 2: next on Game Davut one safety back deep. Here's the pitch.
- 16:48Speaker 2: The swift passes it back to Caleb Williams looking deep
- 16:51Speaker 2: down the left side.
- 16:52Speaker 5: Go through the part of the ten five ten zone touchdown, touchdown, Bears,
- 17:01Speaker 5: Ben's bag of tricks.
- 17:05Speaker 2: That's number one Thing's bag of tricks.
- 17:08Speaker 5: Fans are going to serve they loved it.
- 17:11Speaker 2: I hope to mean that Alaminaezikias just gets left out
- 17:14Speaker 2: of every celebration this season because the Bears are having
- 17:17Speaker 2: some fun. Last week, Kayla finished with four touchdowns, wasn't
- 17:21Speaker 2: sacked for the first time in his NFL career. Chicago
- 17:24Speaker 2: heading to Vegas to take on the Raiders. Greg is
- 17:26Speaker 2: all aboard the Bears hype train. Are you aboard with him, Cynthia.
- 17:30Speaker 4: I am nuts, I am I will said voting, but
- 17:34Speaker 4: my model Joes, they're Raiders twenty four to twenty three
- 17:37Speaker 4: in this one last week, I want to point out
- 17:39Speaker 4: something about these.
- 17:40Speaker 3: Tree Tucker touchdowns. There were three of them, by the way,
- 17:42Speaker 3: in case do you miss them.
- 17:43Speaker 4: They were all on off coverage against off coverage, and
- 17:46Speaker 4: they were all on you.
- 17:48Speaker 3: Know, really kind of more difficult us.
- 17:50Speaker 4: But the other thing they were all under like the
- 17:52Speaker 4: same circumstances.
- 17:53Speaker 3: Was no pressure for Gino Smith.
- 17:55Speaker 4: And what is the difference between Washington and the Bears. Well,
- 17:58Speaker 4: high pressure rate from Washington not so high as in
- 18:01Speaker 4: fourth lowest for the Bears.
- 18:03Speaker 3: So Gina Smith will have a ton more time.
- 18:05Speaker 4: Meaning maybe it's not necessarily to trade Tucker. Perhaps the
- 18:08Speaker 4: Jacobe Myers, perhaps a Rock Powers. I don't really care
- 18:10Speaker 4: about that, but I'm looking at the opportunity for Gino
- 18:13Speaker 4: Smith to stay clean, which means better results in the
- 18:15Speaker 4: pass game.
- 18:16Speaker 2: It's a similar theme I have the Las Vegas Raiders,
- 18:18Speaker 2: and nobody can accuse me of looking on Cynthia's paper
- 18:20Speaker 2: because I have a totally different score. Twenty four twenty two,
- 18:24Speaker 2: and as much fun as we're having with the Bears offensing.
- 18:26Speaker 3: Yes, just gragnation.
- 18:28Speaker 2: Yeah, just great nation, Let's go Bears. The problem is
- 18:32Speaker 2: for just Amo out of the country. Is the Bears
- 18:34Speaker 2: defense still kind of frightening me a bit? As Cynthia
- 18:37Speaker 2: pointed out, number twenty nine in the league and pressure rate,
- 18:40Speaker 2: and when Eugene Cyril Smith isn't pressured, there's a lot
- 18:44Speaker 2: of points. He finished twelve or fifteen for two hundred
- 18:46Speaker 2: and fifteen yards and three touchdowns. They all came when
- 18:50Speaker 2: he didn't have people flying at his feet. And this
- 18:52Speaker 2: is just a look what it's looked like when Dennis
- 18:55Speaker 2: Allen squad hasn't gotten pressure. Here in twenty twenty five.
- 18:58Speaker 2: Still we've all got close games. Looking forward to seeing
- 19:02Speaker 2: that one between the Bears and the Races. Gino and
- 19:04Speaker 2: Caleb both trying to find their stride. There's one guy
- 19:06Speaker 2: who already has and is just bawling as Justin Herbert.
- 19:11Speaker 5: Shucking down in ships Herbert to the air, Pipkins the
- 19:15Speaker 5: block at.
- 19:15Speaker 2: The right jacket, got away from now Purple to the
- 19:18Speaker 2: the pro.
- 19:21Speaker 4: Touchdown.
- 19:24Speaker 2: He's got a clean shot at him.
- 19:26Speaker 5: Herbert step took at the pocket and throws him away
- 19:28Speaker 5: with one arm.
- 19:31Speaker 2: Oh one of the best throws we've seen thus far.
- 19:33Speaker 2: Justin Herbert and the three No Chargers taking on the
- 19:35Speaker 2: g Men at MetLife. Jackson Dart has been named this
- 19:38Speaker 2: Giant starting quarterback. Will the rookie save New York?
- 19:43Speaker 4: Maybe, But I don't necessarily think it's this particular week.
- 19:47Speaker 4: I have the Chargers winning twenty four to nineteen. This
- 19:50Speaker 4: is a really tricky matchup. But I think the thing
- 19:53Speaker 4: that everybody who is a Giants fan is looking for
- 19:56Speaker 4: is hope. It's the opportunity to see what Jackson Dart
- 20:00Speaker 4: could potentially be. Yes, the defense is hard, We're gonna
- 20:04Speaker 4: the circumstances, not the best, not the easiest.
- 20:07Speaker 3: This is a team, though, that has only won one
- 20:09Speaker 3: of their past nine home games.
- 20:10Speaker 4: They've thrown seven total touchdowns in those ten games. This
- 20:14Speaker 4: is a team who's looking for hope passing touchdowns.
- 20:18Speaker 3: Let's have Malik Neighbors look happy. Hey, what's that?
- 20:21Speaker 4: It's kind of like when I come to work and
- 20:22Speaker 4: I see you, I'm just so happy.
- 20:24Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, God forbid, they like working together.
- 20:27Speaker 2: Yeah, and that's we're not just having such a great
- 20:29Speaker 2: time because Greg's not.
- 20:30Speaker 3: We love Greg two.
- 20:31Speaker 2: But yeah, we love Greg we all have picked the
- 20:35Speaker 2: Chargers here. I've got twenty eight to sixteen Justin Herbert
- 20:39Speaker 2: and the Chargers have been great on offense, but the
- 20:41Speaker 2: Chargers defense has forced quarterbacks to make plays, and I
- 20:44Speaker 2: think that's a rough situation to make your first start
- 20:47Speaker 2: at home in MetLife. I know people are going to
- 20:49Speaker 2: be like, well, yeah, to play try extra hard because
- 20:52Speaker 2: the New York media is gonna I think people ask
- 20:54Speaker 2: tough questions everywhere. The number eight passing defense in terms
- 20:59Speaker 2: of efficiency is this Chargers team. They've got great veteran contributions,
- 21:03Speaker 2: getting Tony Jefferim to come in and play as well
- 21:05Speaker 2: as he has, and Derwin James is having a great season.
- 21:08Speaker 2: A rough opportunity. It's going to be a long road
- 21:10Speaker 2: for Jackson Dart. The problems with the franchise are a
- 21:13Speaker 2: whole lot more and vast than just at the quarterback position.
- 21:17Speaker 2: So yeah, we're all taking the Chargers and mem Us
- 21:20Speaker 2: away those who believe there's a big change coming in
- 21:23Speaker 2: New York. Tom for two minute drill presented by the
- 21:26Speaker 2: Wells Fargo Active Cash credit Card. Let's do some quick
- 21:29Speaker 2: picks and rapid succession. The winless Saints taking on the
- 21:32Speaker 2: unbeaten Bills in Orchard Park. We had upsets last week.
- 21:36Speaker 2: Do you believe, Cynthia.
- 21:37Speaker 3: I believe in the Bill. I believe there.
- 21:40Speaker 2: It is.
- 21:41Speaker 4: Thirty two to sixteen is my score in this matchup.
- 21:44Speaker 3: Bonus.
- 21:44Speaker 4: Actually, both running backs here have a good opportunity.
- 21:47Speaker 3: But James Cook reaching the end zone. That feels like
- 21:51Speaker 3: a little chucky. But I like it. I like it
- 21:53Speaker 3: no matter what.
- 21:54Speaker 2: Yeah, we like chaw. The little hanging fruit still taste
- 21:57Speaker 2: just as good. Let's go to the Bengals and Broncos
- 21:59Speaker 2: Monday night. Jake Browning is down five picks in two games,
- 22:02Speaker 2: and I see the Broncos bouncing back in a big
- 22:04Speaker 2: way here, winning twenty seven to twenty two. I would
- 22:06Speaker 2: like to discuss one Courtland Sutton is having a solid
- 22:09Speaker 2: start to a season. He's maybe four passes away from
- 22:12Speaker 2: having one hundred more yards this season. He and Knicks
- 22:14Speaker 2: have missed on some big opportunities. And when the Bengals
- 22:17Speaker 2: play zone, the opponent has a success rate above fifty
- 22:21Speaker 2: one percent. That's in the bottom third of the league.
- 22:24Speaker 2: And I will say once again, justice for Lou.
- 22:27Speaker 4: Exactly, justice for Lou to the command. Maybe it wasn't
- 22:30Speaker 4: his fault wasn't that Colts are doing pretty darn well.
- 22:33Speaker 2: Certainly Commanders and the Falcons were still unsure if Jade
- 22:36Speaker 2: and Scary Terry are going to play. Atlanta got waxed
- 22:39Speaker 2: last week against the Panthers. Did the Falcons bounce back here? No?
- 22:43Speaker 3: Well, I mean they a little bit. They score points, Okay,
- 22:46Speaker 3: they don't get puss love.
- 22:47Speaker 4: I have twenty five to twenty one in a game
- 22:49Speaker 4: where it's scorecasts to be closer, but so it's not
- 22:51Speaker 4: as close as whatever, not as close as forecast. But
- 22:54Speaker 4: I'm looking at this one and talking about that pressure
- 22:56Speaker 4: rate fifty point four percent that leads the league. There's
- 22:59Speaker 4: only two teams that are pressuring over fifty percent.
- 23:02Speaker 3: It's them and the Broncos.
- 23:03Speaker 4: And they're getting sacked, they're getting home, they're disrupting quarterbacks.
- 23:06Speaker 4: That doesn't look fun. I don't want to be sacked
- 23:08Speaker 4: like that. No any quarterback coming out of this. And
- 23:11Speaker 4: Michael Pennock Junior, he has some bad under pressure statistics.
- 23:15Speaker 3: So let's just say advantage Commander's defense.
- 23:18Speaker 2: Yeah, we're gonna learn a whole lot about all of
- 23:21Speaker 2: these teams involved in considering how last week and how
- 23:24Speaker 2: bad it was as the Falcons have had some rough
- 23:26Speaker 2: ones against the Panthers.
- 23:28Speaker 3: They had to fire one of their coaches.
- 23:30Speaker 2: We'll see how they adjust. Speaking of those Carolina Panthers,
- 23:32Speaker 2: they got the Patriots and Carolina right and high after
- 23:35Speaker 2: last week's beat down to the Falcons. I think they're
- 23:37Speaker 2: victorious again on Sunday, winning twenty three twenty. I will
- 23:41Speaker 2: take the strayband as I'm looking high and low for.
- 23:45Speaker 4: The researcher is fist pumping about this? So yeah, right,
- 23:48Speaker 4: perhaps you're not Panthers.
- 23:50Speaker 2: I'm just searching, but like combing through all sorts of
- 23:53Speaker 2: statistics to try to find the thing that the New
- 23:56Speaker 2: England Patriots have done that was more impressive than what
- 23:59Speaker 2: the Carolina Panthers did in Charlotte Against the Falcons, the
- 24:02Speaker 2: franchisees first shutout since back in twenty twenty, held Michael
- 24:05Speaker 2: Pennix Junior to one hundred and seventy two yards two interceptions.
- 24:08Speaker 2: Could be one of the best games this weekend. I
- 24:11Speaker 2: think it will be close, in fact, we all do,
- 24:13Speaker 2: but I will take the Panthers by three, and I
- 24:15Speaker 2: don't mind time for more or less here on game debut,
- 24:21Speaker 2: as we talked some player props for this Steelers Vikings
- 24:24Speaker 2: matchup in Dublin. Why don't you start us off, Cynthia
- 24:28Speaker 2: Carson Wentz more or less than one and a half
- 24:31Speaker 2: touchdowns more or.
- 24:32Speaker 3: Less more more one and a half touchdowns.
- 24:35Speaker 4: You can target this Steelers defense in the passing game.
- 24:39Speaker 3: We've now seen it for three weeks.
- 24:41Speaker 4: They get Jordan Addison back, that sounds good. Justin Jefferson.
- 24:44Speaker 4: He's averaging kind of a career low in terms of
- 24:47Speaker 4: receptions per game. So I'm thinking Jettis needs to do
- 24:51Speaker 4: the gritty in Ireland. Just make sure they get to
- 24:53Speaker 4: see it up close and personal. And also, do you
- 24:55Speaker 4: think someone's going to make the Aaron Gobra reference, like
- 25:00Speaker 4: Aaron Rodgers get it.
- 25:01Speaker 2: Speaking of a run over under two hundred and four
- 25:05Speaker 2: passing yards for Rogers on the Emerald Isle, And I'm
- 25:08Speaker 2: going more. And if you're thinking yay, it's because the Steelers. No,
- 25:11Speaker 2: I think the Steelers is going to be trailing and
- 25:13Speaker 2: Aaron Rodgers is going to have to throw the ball,
- 25:16Speaker 2: and he's gonna have to throw the ball early, which
- 25:18Speaker 2: Aaron Rodgers traditionally does get rid of the ball quickly.
- 25:21Speaker 2: And I think he's gonna have to against the blitz.
- 25:23Speaker 2: But sometimes Brian Flores will elect to do the thing
- 25:26Speaker 2: that you think he's not going to do. Ultimately, I
- 25:29Speaker 2: think advantage Vikings either way. Next oneth Cynthia, more or
- 25:31Speaker 2: less than seventy six receiving yards for the aforementioned justin Jefferson.
- 25:35Speaker 4: Okay, so I said I'd like to touchdown, So we're
- 25:37Speaker 4: good with that. The seventy six it's a little much.
- 25:39Speaker 4: Oh no, less than that, just a little bit less.
- 25:42Speaker 4: Seventy three is the projection. I told you Jordan Madison's back, TJ.
- 25:46Speaker 4: Hopkinson's there. I already told you that I like Jordan Mason.
- 25:49Speaker 4: At some point. That's a lot of mouths defeat. So
- 25:52Speaker 4: I think about seventy three yards, so just a titch
- 25:54Speaker 4: less Okay.
- 25:55Speaker 2: I will go back to the Pittsburgh Steelers. DK metcalf
- 25:58Speaker 2: at three and a half receptions, and again I'm saying more,
- 26:02Speaker 2: not because it's good news. I think the Steelers will
- 26:04Speaker 2: be trailing and this one get lore catches for DK
- 26:08Speaker 2: late or perhaps in situations where the Vikings are backing up,
- 26:11Speaker 2: willing to give up yards late just to get out
- 26:13Speaker 2: of there and get on the plane and celebrate. On
- 26:15Speaker 2: the way back to the United States. Let's go to
- 26:17Speaker 2: the ground game for the guys in Purple. Jordan Mason
- 26:21Speaker 2: had a great start for the Vikings this season. Eighty
- 26:24Speaker 2: one or more rushing yards.
- 26:26Speaker 3: We're gonna go already, I believe it. Say it's all
- 26:29Speaker 3: about those miss tackles.
- 26:30Speaker 4: Ninety fours has averaged from when he was starting for
- 26:33Speaker 4: the forty nine ers when Christian McCaffrey was out.
- 26:35Speaker 3: He had a great showing last week.
- 26:38Speaker 4: That game was a little wonky with all of those
- 26:40Speaker 4: turnovers on defense and scoring on defense.
- 26:42Speaker 3: And he still had two trips to the end zone.
- 26:44Speaker 4: So I'm not worried about the yards topping eighty one
- 26:47Speaker 4: and a half in this one.
- 26:48Speaker 2: More Yeah, career highs for Jrdon Mason. The problem is
- 26:52Speaker 2: Isaiah Rodgers ate up all the yards that the Vikings
- 26:55Speaker 2: could have potentially gotten. And so yeah, it was the
- 26:59Speaker 2: Jordan Mason game. It was probably one of the best
- 27:01Speaker 2: games of his career. It grew high in touchdown as
- 27:04Speaker 2: well as yards. I'll take the last one. Will Greg
- 27:08Speaker 2: Rosenhal have more or less than three and a half
- 27:10Speaker 2: pints of guinness during his trip to Ireland? And I'm
- 27:13Speaker 2: actually gonna know if less here Greg not noted for
- 27:17Speaker 2: you know, consuming a lot of particular substances. But if
- 27:21Speaker 2: we're gonna ask, will people raise pints of Guinness in
- 27:24Speaker 2: honor of Greg Rosenthal, I'm gonna go way way up.
- 27:29Speaker 4: And I was thinking about this a little bit, and
- 27:30Speaker 4: I think he's gonna try to split the G because
- 27:33Speaker 4: when you have that many g's in your name, and
- 27:35Speaker 4: splitting the G is so popular, it's harder to do
- 27:38Speaker 4: than you might think. So I think he's gonna have
- 27:40Speaker 4: to do more just by virtue of trying to split
- 27:42Speaker 4: that darn G right on.
- 27:44Speaker 2: The glass like r egg after the big time for gs.
- 27:48Speaker 2: Just a reminder, you can catch the game Sunday nine
- 27:50Speaker 2: thirty am Eastern on an NFL network and NFL Plus.
- 27:53Speaker 2: Check out the rest of the upcoming international slate as
- 27:56Speaker 2: we get a chance to see these vikings internationally once
- 28:00Speaker 2: again at Tottenham Hotspur, the Broncos and the Jets coming
- 28:04Speaker 2: up on October twelfth, the Commanders and the Fins, the
- 28:07Speaker 2: Falcons and the Colts, and we get to see the
- 28:09Speaker 2: Jacksonville Jaguars at Wimbley again as they will be the
- 28:13Speaker 2: home team against the Los Angeles ring golf, takes turns,
- 28:19Speaker 2: gives to Montgomery two hands on that football. There he
- 28:21Speaker 2: goes over the right time twenty five, twenty cut to.
- 28:23Speaker 5: The right, fififteen down to the tent, down to the
- 28:25Speaker 5: time to the end zone, touch down. Detroit Lions demo
- 28:29Speaker 5: to the house thirty one yards and the Lions have.
- 28:32Speaker 2: Put this game on ice. What a night for the
- 28:36Speaker 2: Detroit Lions.
- 28:37Speaker 5: What a statement by this football team.
- 28:40Speaker 2: Browns and the Lions Detroit put the league on notice
- 28:43Speaker 2: Monday night in Baltimore, while the Brownies shocked the world
- 28:46Speaker 2: last week. How do you feel about this matchup for
- 28:49Speaker 2: your Lions.
- 28:50Speaker 3: I still have a little tear in my eye. I
- 28:52Speaker 3: was tearing up watching that last one. I have a
- 28:54Speaker 3: ten point wind mark. I'm sorry, it's been twenty years.
- 28:58Speaker 3: That's a long time.
- 28:58Speaker 4: In nineteen seventy seven the last time they won in Baltimore. Anyway,
- 29:01Speaker 4: I have a ten point win twenty six to sixteen
- 29:03Speaker 4: in this.
- 29:04Speaker 3: Matchup in favor of the lines.
- 29:06Speaker 4: The quote from Johnny Morton is quote, I don't think
- 29:09Speaker 4: they've seen a run game like hours yet. And while
- 29:11Speaker 4: that might be true, I don't necessarily think if you're
- 29:13Speaker 4: a fantasy manager, that you want to expect this kind
- 29:16Speaker 4: of rushing from David Montgomery. I do think it matters,
- 29:19Speaker 4: but I don't think he's going to have this crazy.
- 29:21Speaker 3: Type of situation. This is a Browns defense that.
- 29:24Speaker 4: Allows fifty seven rushing years per game. That's the best
- 29:26Speaker 4: in the league. There's so they haven't allowed one rush
- 29:29Speaker 4: over twelve yards yet, that's pretty crazy. And nine first
- 29:32Speaker 4: downs in the run game fewest in the NFL. So
- 29:34Speaker 4: if you're looking at the opportunity here for fantasy managers,
- 29:37Speaker 4: perhaps what you're going.
- 29:38Speaker 3: To look at is maybe a tight end or perhaps
- 29:40Speaker 3: a pass catcher.
- 29:42Speaker 2: Yeah, the opportunity going up against this Browns defense is very,
- 29:46Speaker 2: very limited. I would expect that they will have another
- 29:49Speaker 2: solid performance. But Jared Goff already played against a very
- 29:52Speaker 2: good Packers defense. He completed a ton of passes thirty
- 29:55Speaker 2: one to thirty seven. I know the Lions didn't win
- 29:57Speaker 2: that game, but but not just celebrate Jared Goff for yeah,
- 30:00Speaker 2: I guess man. This season, he's completed nineteen of twenty
- 30:03Speaker 2: three pass is for one hundred and sixty eight yards
- 30:06Speaker 2: and three touchdowns. His completion percentage over expected is twenty
- 30:10Speaker 2: one percent. And there are those out there who would
- 30:12Speaker 2: malign JG. Not not on this show. We respect to JG.
- 30:17Speaker 4: Do you know that all of the colleges in Michigan
- 30:19Speaker 4: they do a Jared Goff chant, like even the directional
- 30:21Speaker 4: colleges in Michigan and Michigan State, but like Western Michigan
- 30:24Speaker 4: East Jared Goff.
- 30:27Speaker 2: I mean you have to. I'm glad. I'm glad they're
- 30:30Speaker 2: showing up.
- 30:31Speaker 3: The Westerns are the best Midwest.
- 30:33Speaker 2: Lionsen in two and one. One team that's ahead of
- 30:36Speaker 2: them in the NFC standings, the undefeated forty nine Ers.
- 30:40Speaker 2: So be a thirty five yard try for Pinero. It's now, the.
- 30:45Speaker 5: Kick is on the way and is done, Enny Pinner,
- 30:51Speaker 5: what's it for the forty nine ers? What a game
- 30:56Speaker 5: under the circumstances, Kyle Shanahan in this mass unit of
- 31:01Speaker 5: players with all the injuries, and you could say it
- 31:04Speaker 5: on both sides of the ball, My god, is that inspiring?
- 31:09Speaker 2: Still yet to figure out why and if Panniero hates
- 31:11Speaker 2: Seris on the Cardinals, the Jags and the forty nine
- 31:14Speaker 2: ers in Sanni, he was very adamant after that game
- 31:17Speaker 2: winning field goal, there's a chance Brock Purdy plays. He
- 31:20Speaker 2: smiled and said we'll see. When asked how his toe felt,
- 31:24Speaker 2: Kyle Shanahan says, if he progresses, then he could be
- 31:28Speaker 2: able to play.
- 31:28Speaker 3: If he progresses, then he could.
- 31:30Speaker 2: Yeah, so we'll see. There's a lot of caveats there.
- 31:32Speaker 2: Greg is taking the folks out of Duval and I
- 31:35Speaker 2: agree with him, although it is dependent on whether or
- 31:37Speaker 2: not Rock Party plays, which is something we won't know
- 31:40Speaker 2: until the game starts. I got twenty two twenty one
- 31:43Speaker 2: Jags on the virtue of a very very good defense
- 31:46Speaker 2: led by a very very good player in Josh heinz Allen,
- 31:49Speaker 2: six and a half pressures a game and Jags wins
- 31:52Speaker 2: this season. He had the game winning play last week
- 31:54Speaker 2: against the Texans, getting the CJ. Stroud right as the
- 31:57Speaker 2: ball was released. He's got nine quick pressures for the
- 32:01Speaker 2: against the quarterback already the season, well ahead of the
- 32:03Speaker 2: pace that he was on in his last Pro Bowl
- 32:06Speaker 2: season of twenty twenty three. Again, a lot depends on
- 32:09Speaker 2: the forty nine ers circumstances that we will get no
- 32:12Speaker 2: actual advance notice on what will actually happen. But as
- 32:15Speaker 2: of right now, I'm taking the Jacksonville.
- 32:17Speaker 4: Jaguar check back ninety minutes before the game, and then
- 32:20Speaker 4: we'll know a little bit more. I don't care, though
- 32:22Speaker 4: I know Nick bos is not there, I know everyone
- 32:25Speaker 4: is potentially not playing for the Niners. I still have
- 32:27Speaker 4: them winning twenty three to twenty one.
- 32:30Speaker 3: You're giving me another undefeated team that's a president. Seems
- 32:33Speaker 3: smart whatever.
- 32:35Speaker 4: I'm taking them because of Christian McCaffrey, who is there
- 32:37Speaker 4: and isn't on the injury report.
- 32:39Speaker 3: This is good news when you're looking at McCaffrey.
- 32:41Speaker 4: It's so wild to think that the Niners are the
- 32:44Speaker 4: only team in the NFL without a rushing touchdown yet
- 32:47Speaker 4: wild right, Yeah, it's curty, but it's because he's doing
- 32:49Speaker 4: all this damage in the pass catching game.
- 32:51Speaker 3: I don't care if it's Mac Jones. I don't care
- 32:52Speaker 3: if it's brock Purty.
- 32:53Speaker 4: In fact, it would be a little poetic if it
- 32:55Speaker 4: were Mac Jones, who could go against his former team
- 32:57Speaker 4: and have Christian McCaffery dash their hearts.
- 33:00Speaker 3: Out right at the end.
- 33:01Speaker 4: I like the drama, but when I'm looking at the
- 33:03Speaker 4: most realized able player on this offense, he has consistently
- 33:06Speaker 4: been there and been open in space. Not sure why
- 33:09Speaker 4: that's happening, but doesn't even matter because Christian McCaffrey is
- 33:12Speaker 4: a difference maker in this one for me.
- 33:14Speaker 2: Yeah, eleven targets for the running back, got a lot
- 33:16Speaker 2: of action through the airline.
- 33:17Speaker 3: Is he a running back?
- 33:19Speaker 4: Was to call him like a Swiss army knife like
- 33:21Speaker 4: we have like silly, silly, like he's a running back
- 33:24Speaker 4: slash wide receiver, not the other way around.
- 33:27Speaker 2: All the different facets on this multi tool that is
- 33:30Speaker 2: Christian McCaffrey. Still to come. We got two big matchups
- 33:33Speaker 2: of winless teams Titans Texans and Jets Dolphins. Somebody's gotta win.
- 33:40Speaker 2: Maybe who's getting the first dub of the season and
- 33:44Speaker 2: perhaps turning their season around. To borrow some phrases from
- 33:47Speaker 2: Kyle Standinghan, our answer is coming up next with the

- 34:18Speaker 2: Terms and conditions apply. Let's thinking about playing football. Somebody wins,
- 34:23Speaker 2: somebody loses. These teams have lost every game the Dolphins, Jets, Texans, Titans, Giants,
- 34:28Speaker 2: and Saints. But there is good news. Some of them
- 34:32Speaker 2: play each other. We'll start with the winless Jets and
- 34:34Speaker 2: Dolphins on Monday night. For more on this game, let's
- 34:38Speaker 2: send it out to Gangreen's number one fan, Greg Rosenthal
- 34:41Speaker 2: in Ireland.
- 34:44Speaker 6: Okay, So everywhere I go in Dublin, people are coming
- 34:47Speaker 6: up to me in the airports, on the streets, gregor,
- 34:50Speaker 6: are you gonna do it? Are you gonna pick the
- 34:52Speaker 6: Jets four straight weeks even though it's completely ruining your
- 34:56Speaker 6: pick season? I am gonna do it. This Dolphins team
- 35:00Speaker 6: doesn't have nearly as much fight as the Jets. And
- 35:03Speaker 6: to paraphrase Bill Parcells in the locker room after winning
- 35:07Speaker 6: the Super Bowl, they can never tell me that you
- 35:10Speaker 6: couldn't do it, man, because you did it. You picked
- 35:12Speaker 6: the Jets four straight weeks, and this time they're coming through.
- 35:16Speaker 2: It's honorable for Greg to continue to pick the Jets.
- 35:19Speaker 2: Are you going to join them and pick the Jets
- 35:21Speaker 2: in twenty twenty five to win their first game?
- 35:23Speaker 4: Well, they've been leading with two minutes left in two games,
- 35:27Speaker 4: So yes, I'm gonna do it. I have twenty four,
- 35:29Speaker 4: two twenty three in this matchup. Can we talk about
- 35:32Speaker 4: how Garrett Wilson isn't really being talked about enough.
- 35:35Speaker 3: I know the Jets aren't.
- 35:36Speaker 4: Necessarily lighting it up in terms of passing yards per game,
- 35:39Speaker 4: but Garrett Wilson is top ten in the NFL amongst
- 35:41Speaker 4: wide receivers and receptions, receiving yards, and receiving touchdowns, So
- 35:45Speaker 4: pretty darn good receiver despite having two different quarterbacks. And
- 35:49Speaker 4: this is going to be an interesting situation because we've
- 35:52Speaker 4: seen the Dolphins secondary give up quite a few yards,
- 35:56Speaker 4: quite a few receptions, and quite a few touchdowns.
- 35:59Speaker 3: So I think it's gonna be a big Garrett wilsoning.
- 36:01Speaker 2: Yeah, a lot of attention going to the Dolphins problems
- 36:03Speaker 2: on offen but the problems on defense. And there's things
- 36:07Speaker 2: floating around on the internet for years talking about the
- 36:10Speaker 2: definition of insanity being trying the same thing over. That's
- 36:13Speaker 2: not true. They intrude it to Albert Einstein just because
- 36:15Speaker 2: it's Albert Einstein, so south starts. He never said that.
- 36:18Speaker 2: It's not the definition of anything.
- 36:20Speaker 4: You've been lied to for so many years.
- 36:22Speaker 2: And I am going to pick the Dolphins because I too.
- 36:24Speaker 2: Am trying something that I've tried over and over again,
- 36:27Speaker 2: and I will take the stray bonn here and I'm
- 36:29Speaker 2: taking it because it's been a nice start to the
- 36:31Speaker 2: season for Jalen Waddell. He's gotten back in the end
- 36:34Speaker 2: zone a couple of times, and he's caught all but
- 36:37Speaker 2: three of his targets this year for one hundred and
- 36:39Speaker 2: thirty seven yards. It's been shaky for the Jets in
- 36:43Speaker 2: coverage at times. And so yeah, again, Albert Einstein never
- 36:48Speaker 2: said that. Just like a lot of things on the
- 36:50Speaker 2: Internet that people say, Albert Einstein said, well, yeah, I
- 36:54Speaker 2: am taking the Miami.
- 36:55Speaker 3: You extremely lied to you right now.
- 36:57Speaker 2: Yeah, it happens, rrect a very solid chance. I regret
- 37:00Speaker 2: that decision, but I think the Fins win. I could
- 37:03Speaker 2: probably use some help. So it's time for the read
- 37:05Speaker 2: presented by Microsoft co Pilot. Co Pilot, your AI companion
- 37:09Speaker 2: for NFL Game Day and every day Big AFC South matchup. Sonight,
- 37:14Speaker 2: we ask Copilot one of the key storylines to watch
- 37:16Speaker 2: in Titans Texans, As co Pilot notes, it's the battle
- 37:19Speaker 2: of the winless teams. Both teams zero to three quarterback
- 37:22Speaker 2: pressure of problem for both cam Ward and CJ strout
- 37:25Speaker 2: the teams having trouble on offense, and co pilot noting
- 37:29Speaker 2: that the Titans gave up play calling duty, the head
- 37:32Speaker 2: coach gave up play calling duty, and now Bo Hart
- 37:34Speaker 2: agree is calling plays this week.
- 37:38Speaker 3: I wonder who co pilot would pick.
- 37:40Speaker 2: Yeah, I gotta ask. We'll figure it out. What copilot
- 37:43Speaker 2: says here will break down one more, both squads looking
- 37:46Speaker 2: for their first wins of the season. Who finally breaks
- 37:48Speaker 2: through here, Cynthia.
- 37:49Speaker 4: Well, the Houston Texans at twenty four to sixteen.
- 37:52Speaker 3: Is what my model says.
- 37:54Speaker 4: Why, Well, I'm looking at cam Ward and look, I'm
- 37:57Speaker 4: going to say that cam Ward has.
- 37:59Speaker 3: Had a rough start. It's not necessarily his fault.
- 38:01Speaker 5: Though.
- 38:02Speaker 4: He's been sacked fifteen freaking times, which is third most
- 38:05Speaker 4: in the modern quarterback era. Like only two guys have
- 38:08Speaker 4: been sacked more often. So I'm looking at the strength
- 38:11Speaker 4: of the Texans defense and what is it. It is pressure,
- 38:14Speaker 4: It is getting to the quarterback and affecting him. But
- 38:16Speaker 4: I want to give a little bit. I want to
- 38:18Speaker 4: stick up for my gag, cam Ward because some coaches
- 38:21Speaker 4: and some people believe that taking sacks is something that
- 38:24Speaker 4: you can't train a guy to not do, and I'm
- 38:26Speaker 4: arguing I went back and watched all fifteen of those
- 38:28Speaker 4: sacks that it is not actually his fault on all
- 38:32Speaker 4: of them. So the numbers should really the ones that
- 38:34Speaker 4: are on him are more like seven or eight, not
- 38:36Speaker 4: necessarily fifteen, which is wild. So I'm defending my guy,
- 38:39Speaker 4: even though I'm picking against his team.
- 38:41Speaker 2: Yeah, context matters for Sas for those who are purely
- 38:44Speaker 2: in the box score, it's you know, ball Noor's like
- 38:47Speaker 2: Cynthia Frieland will delve into more of that. I am
- 38:49Speaker 2: also taking the Houston Texans twenty one to eighteen, and
- 38:52Speaker 2: if the Texans have an offense at all, it goes
- 38:55Speaker 2: through Nico Collins. He has over thirty percent of the
- 38:57Speaker 2: Texans total receiving yards this season, and teams are doing
- 39:01Speaker 2: what they can to try to disrupt them. At the
- 39:02Speaker 2: line of Scrimagy's facing press the line at one of
- 39:05Speaker 2: the highest rates in the league. They'll go up against
- 39:08Speaker 2: Lagerius Snead here. Again, the Texans defense does have the edge,
- 39:12Speaker 2: So I as well as Cynthia and Greg are all
- 39:15Speaker 2: aboard time for write this down, which is something that
- 39:19Speaker 2: you do and not necessarily that we do. Because Cynthia
- 39:22Speaker 2: and I don't have a writing intensal at the moment.
- 39:24Speaker 2: Let's get the prop predictions for a week four. Why
- 39:26Speaker 2: don't that lead off something?
- 39:27Speaker 3: Okay?
- 39:27Speaker 4: So I have a little theme going here, okay, and
- 39:30Speaker 4: my first one is Ashton Genty to rush for more
- 39:33Speaker 4: than sixty five and a half yards.
- 39:34Speaker 3: Against the Bears. It isn't a great situation.
- 39:38Speaker 4: When your O line is holding you back the way
- 39:41Speaker 4: that he's been held back. However, the opportunity against the
- 39:45Speaker 4: Bears is the best he's had so far.
- 39:47Speaker 3: Chip Kelly knows it.
- 39:48Speaker 4: We see some of these explosive runs. They will happen
- 39:52Speaker 4: in this matchup, and I think this is where Ashton
- 39:53Speaker 4: Genty surpasses that number.
- 39:55Speaker 2: It'll be great for the rookie, great for Raiders fans,
- 39:57Speaker 2: and of course fantasy managers who have been waiting for
- 40:01Speaker 2: Ashton gent to get an opportunity to get in the
- 40:02Speaker 2: ball some space. I will take Romeo Dobbs to go
- 40:06Speaker 2: over forty two and a half receiving yards against the
- 40:09Speaker 2: Dallas Cowboys because the Cowboys have played a few games.
- 40:11Speaker 2: They played three games and see four players have over
- 40:15Speaker 2: forty two receiving yards on one play. Against the Dallas Cowboys.
- 40:19Speaker 2: I think that the packer that over the years has
- 40:22Speaker 2: the most targets, the most red zone targets, gets the
- 40:24Speaker 2: most opportunities, gets there on Sunday night against the Dallas Cowboys.
- 40:29Speaker 3: My second one also a rookie, that's me. Oh and
- 40:31Speaker 3: it's a worrying him to just score a touchdown.
- 40:33Speaker 4: Just kidding, but ask you to write that one down
- 40:35Speaker 4: to it's Travon Henderson to rush for more than forty
- 40:37Speaker 4: five and a half yards against the Panthers.
- 40:40Speaker 2: Yep.
- 40:40Speaker 4: The Panthers defense was out of this world against the Falcons,
- 40:43Speaker 4: but for two games prior to that, they were very
- 40:46Speaker 4: vulnerable to the run, even with Derek Brown back.
- 40:48Speaker 3: So looking at the opportunity here.
- 40:50Speaker 4: I know there were tons of turnovers, there's tons of penalties.
- 40:53Speaker 4: Do you know what way is a surefire tud and
- 40:55Speaker 4: tryway to tried and true way to get that turnover
- 40:58Speaker 4: number down?
- 40:59Speaker 3: Run the football with Trevan Henderson.
- 41:01Speaker 2: Yeah, and running the football with not Travyon him and
- 41:04Speaker 2: there's some kinving fumbles is probably what gets Trayvon Henderson
- 41:07Speaker 2: a more opportunity This week. I'll take another running back
- 41:09Speaker 2: and decidedly not a rookie as Alva Kamara been doing
- 41:12Speaker 2: it for a very long time at a very high level.
- 41:15Speaker 2: I think he gets over forty nine yards against the
- 41:17Speaker 2: Buffalo Bills because he's on the field like at a
- 41:20Speaker 2: top ten rate. Right now, he's playing over eighty percent
- 41:23Speaker 2: of the snaps for the Saints. I do think the
- 41:25Speaker 2: Saints will be playing from behind, but there's something about
- 41:28Speaker 2: that number that makes me believe.
- 41:30Speaker 4: You know what happened last time he faced a bottom
- 41:32Speaker 4: run defense?
- 41:33Speaker 3: What one hundred and fifty five yards?
- 41:35Speaker 4: It was the last season feilve yards one hundred and
- 41:36Speaker 4: fifty five, So it's like one hundred more than you need.
- 41:38Speaker 2: I'm thinking back to that moment where al Kamara could
- 41:41Speaker 2: have had the single game record from touchdowns, but Sean
- 41:43Speaker 2: Payton gave the ball to Taysom Hill instead. Enjoying the
- 41:46Speaker 2: game in Dublin, Everybody for Cynthia Freelan and Patrick cleibon
