- 0:00Speaker 1: I want to hear yours. Talk to your boy. Let's
- 0:02Speaker 1: get it. I want to hear your top five.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Super Bowl contenders right now. We'll run through these. We'll
- 0:06Speaker 2: start at number five. The floor is yours, Shady.
- 0:08Speaker 1: Okay. Now, my boy Aaron Donald, one of my best friends,
- 0:11Speaker 1: he said, Shady, I had two padded practices before I
- 0:13Speaker 1: even played. That's nothing. That's crazy. Sat out for two years.
- 0:15Speaker 1: Imagine having a car that sat for two years and
- 0:17Speaker 1: you never started. And you just crank it up a
- 0:19Speaker 1: little bit. By week eight, week nine, he's going to
- 0:22Speaker 1: be back. And then Miles Garrett's going to show up.
- 0:24Speaker 1: So if you're worried about that... Secondary, the pass rush
- 0:28Speaker 1: helps that out. So I'm going with them to number five.
- 0:30Speaker 2: Number five team is... They're in that range for me,
- 0:35Speaker 2: but I still think I would not put them in
- 0:37Speaker 2: my top five right now. I understand it's special teams.
- 0:42Speaker 2: In the playoffs, that matters so much. It matters so much.
- 0:45Speaker 1: The defense will be so much better, though. It should.
- 0:47Speaker 1: It absolutely should.
- 0:48Speaker 2: And their schedule coming up, man, they should run through
- 0:51Speaker 2: their next five games.
- 0:52Speaker 1: They will. They will.
- 0:53Speaker 2: And get healthier, and hopefully Garrett comes back. But I'm
- 0:57Speaker 2: not there right now. Right now, I can't put them
- 0:59Speaker 2: in my top four.
- 1:00Speaker 1: Okay, okay. Number four. All right. Number four, I'm going with... Now,
- 1:05Speaker 1: some guys win championships and people are like, it don't matter.
- 1:07Speaker 1: To me, it matters. The Seahawks. Okay. The Seahawks. Book
- 1:11Speaker 1: a walk. Is that a bad Seahawk?
- 1:13Speaker 3: Book a walk. Yeah, a little deeper maybe. A Seahawk
- 1:17Speaker 3: is not a real bird. So that's the thing, though.
- 1:20Speaker 3: I think they can run the ball well, right? And
- 1:22Speaker 3: I think once... Sam Darnold gets back to being comfortable.
- 1:25Speaker 3: They had a lot of speed, a lot of talent.
- 1:26Speaker 1: Yeah. I mean, the other night they lost, but if
- 1:29Speaker 1: you catch a ball here and there and just won't
- 1:31Speaker 1: drop passes, that's not what he does. And their defense
- 1:33Speaker 1: is still that defense. It is. If you can play
- 1:36Speaker 1: great defense, right, and you got playmakers, you always have
- 1:40Speaker 1: a chance. Always have a chance.
- 1:43Speaker 2: The number one reason, and you'll know why, of why
- 1:45Speaker 2: I can't put them this high is because of the
- 1:47Speaker 2: running game.
- 1:48Speaker 1: Because they lost Kenneth Walker. Kenneth Walker's been amazing.
- 1:50Speaker 2: Yeah. For Kansas City, that running game is just not
- 1:54Speaker 2: the same. And Darnold, we know when Darnold gets pressure
- 1:57Speaker 2: in his face, he'll turn the ball over. I'm not
- 2:00Speaker 2: giving up on this team because the defense is that good.
- 2:02Speaker 1: Right, and they gave a lot of points to the
- 2:03Speaker 1: Niners the other day, which I didn't expect that. Okay, well,
- 2:06Speaker 1: we kind of agree there. But let's go. To the Niners.
- 2:10Speaker 1: Stay in the same division. Listen, Mike Evans. The thing
- 2:14Speaker 1: about the Niners, they have so many different pieces. The
- 2:17Speaker 1: quarterback is playing like an MVP. Brock Purdy is like
- 2:19Speaker 1: an MVP right now. You got one of the best
- 2:21Speaker 1: coaches in football, Kyle Shanahan, the way he dices up
- 2:24Speaker 1: these plays. And then we're not even talking about CMC.
- 2:27Speaker 1: They're saving him. They really are. So now when you
- 2:29Speaker 1: get him in the playoffs, he's going to be fresh.
- 2:31Speaker 1: And then Debo, right? I know he has a little hamstring, but... George.
- 2:35Speaker 1: He's only need a couple plays to get going. You
- 2:37Speaker 1: got George Kittle. They got a lot going on. A lot, man.
- 2:39Speaker 1: But what makes him different is Mike Evans. Because if
- 2:42Speaker 1: you see, and I play with Mike. Mike's probably my
- 2:44Speaker 1: favorite teammate. Yeah. Selfless guy. When he's involved, he can
- 2:48Speaker 1: take over the game. He's so big and strong. They're
- 2:50Speaker 1: going to be hard to beat in the playoffs. They're
- 2:51Speaker 1: going to be really hard. And shout out Fred Warner,
- 2:54Speaker 1: who's playing like.
- 2:54Speaker 2: The best player of the year.
- 2:55Speaker 3: Oh, my Fred Warner.
- 2:56Speaker 1: God dang it. He is unbelievable. I'm happy I got
- 2:57Speaker 1: to play against you no more. Only thing about them
- 3:00Speaker 1: is they be hurt. Number two. Number two. The best quarterback,
- 3:05Speaker 1: I can't even say that because he's not, but Josh
- 3:09Speaker 1: Allen's a bad man. Couldn't go with the Bills. I
- 3:11Speaker 1: nicknamed Josh Allen the franchise his rookie season when we
- 3:14Speaker 1: played together. You talk about the defense, I'm not talking
- 3:17Speaker 1: about the defense because I know he's so good that
- 3:20Speaker 1: he can carry that team. Did he carry the team
- 3:21Speaker 1: last night? Yeah, he did.
- 3:24Speaker 2: He did.
- 3:24Speaker 1: He said, listen, Buffalo, that bad defense.
- 3:27Speaker 2: Against a team that I don't think is a Super
- 3:29Speaker 2: Bowl contender.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Jump on my back, right? All these fun moves from
- 3:32Speaker 1: James Cook. Jump on my back and I'm going to
- 3:34Speaker 1: carry this. I do think that this is the year.
- 3:37Speaker 1: This is the year for the Bills. I think back
- 3:39Speaker 1: to when Peyton Manning and Tom Brady. Tom Brady was
- 3:42Speaker 1: running things, right? And Peyton couldn't get over the hump. Eventually,
- 3:45Speaker 1: you know what happened? He got over the hump. And
- 3:47Speaker 1: I think this year, these next two years, the Bills
- 3:50Speaker 1: is going to get over the hump. I believe that.
- 3:52Speaker 1: In the next two years, the Bills will win the
- 3:53Speaker 1: Super Bowl. I believe that. And if they don't, the
- 3:57Speaker 1: window's closed. You cannot get out the house.
- 3:59Speaker 2: He finally broke his overtime curse. Josh Allen had not
- 4:02Speaker 2: won an overtime game until last night. Which is 0-7
- 4:05Speaker 2: in his career, which is crazy.
- 4:07Speaker 1: We got to get married. Oh, yeah? I'm just starting
- 4:10Speaker 1: to see guys getting married and start playing better. Like,
- 4:11Speaker 1: Josh is playing great. He gets married. He's playing even better. So,
- 4:15Speaker 1: we got to stop being single. Okay. We'll work on that.
- 4:17Speaker 1: The number one team. Their coach is heavy set and
- 4:21Speaker 1: so smart. The quarterback is a goat. Bah! Is that
- 4:25Speaker 1: a goal? Yeah, that was a goal. I'm going with
- 4:27Speaker 1: Patrick Mahomes, baby. What are we talking about? And guess what?
- 4:32Speaker 1: I named Andy Reid, the best coach of all time.
- 4:33Speaker 1: I named a top three quarterback in Patrick Mahomes. But
- 4:36Speaker 1: you know what they really got? They have the MVP
- 4:38Speaker 1: of the league, Kenneth Walker Jr., They're doing everything. They're
- 4:44Speaker 1: throwing the ball with Pat, but then also they're going
- 4:46Speaker 1: through the running game. I just love what they're doing. Listen,
- 4:49Speaker 1: everybody should be scared because Patrick Mahomes is not even
- 4:51Speaker 1: 80% yet.
- 4:52Speaker 2: I agree. If they have a weakness right now, you
- 4:55Speaker 2: and I, we both agree this is the number one
- 4:57Speaker 2: team in the NFL.
- 4:58Speaker 1: What's the weakness? Wide receivers. Yeah. But you know why
- 5:00Speaker 1: it's not really a weakness? Because I watched these dudes.
- 5:02Speaker 1: When I played with the Chiefs in 2019, we won
- 5:05Speaker 1: the championship with all these fast guys. Tyree Hills, Sammy Watkins, right?
- 5:08Speaker 1: Travis Kelsey was still young before the Swift, right? Yeah.
- 5:11Speaker 1: They take a break. They win another championship when they
- 5:14Speaker 1: had the most drops in the wide receiver room. So
- 5:17Speaker 1: it lets me know that Andy Reid can win with anybody.
- 5:19Speaker 1: And the defense is still elite. I'm going with the Chiefs.
- 5:23Speaker 1: For the most part, I think we agree with a
- 5:24Speaker 1: lot of this.
- 5:25Speaker 2: I'm just not as high on the Bills and Rams,
- 5:27Speaker 2: but Chiefs and 49ers, that's it.
- 5:30Speaker 1: Why is it literally just.
- 5:32Speaker 2: Josh Allen is why you have the Bills above 49ers?
- 5:35Speaker 1: That's it. To me, Brock Purdy is playing as well
- 5:38Speaker 1: as Josh Allen right now. Yes, he is. And the
- 5:40Speaker 1: rest of the 49ers team is better than the rest
- 5:42Speaker 1: of the Bills team. That's true. That's true. That's true.
- 5:45Speaker 1: I think matchups matter. Yeah. I think pressure matters. And also,
- 5:48Speaker 1: I mean, James Cook, even though his fingers is getting greasy,
- 5:53Speaker 1: but he's a hell of a player. He's very good.
- 5:55Speaker 1: And I think when it gets to the playoffs, you
- 5:56Speaker 1: got to show up. You got to show up. And
- 5:58Speaker 1: Josh Allen, for me, he going to show up.
