- 0:13Speaker 1: it's legal damn near everywhere, including California, including Texas, and
- 0:18Speaker 1: it's awesome. You just put together lineups of how you
- 0:21Speaker 1: think things are gonna go with certain players, all right,
- 0:23Speaker 1: on certain teams, football, basketball, whatever it is. Basketball's point rebounds, assists.
- 0:28Speaker 1: You could combine all three if you want. It could
- 0:30Speaker 1: be Yoki, Shay Gillis, Alexander. You could say, I think
- 0:33Speaker 1: he's gonna get more than this, He's gonna hit more
- 0:35Speaker 1: than two three pointers, whatever it is. They set the lines,
- 0:37Speaker 1: you put the lineup together, and you get a pop in.
- 0:40Speaker 1: Of course, NFL season, we're in the midst of it
- 0:42Speaker 1: right now. Same thing. You think someone's gonna get more
- 0:44Speaker 1: than a touchdown, more than a certain amount of receiving yards,
- 0:48Speaker 1: you just put your lineup together, all right. And when
- 0:50Speaker 1: you do do that with that promo code Bootleg, put
- 0:53Speaker 1: a five dollars. Lineup together. They're gonna give you fifty
- 0:56Speaker 1: dollars in free lineups. Man, we run it up. Prize
- 0:59Speaker 1: picks down right now, let's get into the interview. Bulet
- 1:05Speaker 1: Cap podcast man special guests in here. My girl man
- 1:08Speaker 1: shot to Snow the product her new album is out
- 1:11Speaker 1: before I crash out. Congratulations, thank you? Yes, how's everything good? Good? Since?
- 1:16Speaker 1: I mean I feel like we see each other. We
- 1:18Speaker 1: haven't had yes since I was at my old spot
- 1:21Speaker 1: which is a few seconds away, but it's been a while. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:24Speaker 1: which has been a while. Happy to see you always. Yeah,
- 1:27Speaker 1: for sure. This is a massive album. Yeah, it could
- 1:31Speaker 1: like if you this this is like a double discer.
- 1:34Speaker 1: It really is like had you like like, I don't know,
- 1:36Speaker 1: I'm sure you're gonna do it. I don't know if
- 1:37Speaker 1: you're gonna do CDs or not, but I'm sure you're
- 1:39Speaker 1: gonna do all that. Right. Yeah. But I feel like
- 1:41Speaker 1: back in the day when we were growing up, because
- 1:43Speaker 1: we're the same age, we will tell you how you'd
- 1:45Speaker 1: go to the like some people would put out double albums.
- 1:48Speaker 1: This is thirty Records.
- 1:49Speaker 2: It started out as a mixtape, right, you know, it
- 1:52Speaker 2: wasn't really like. It wasn't a whole like plan. It
- 1:55Speaker 2: was just like put music out. My fans were just like,
- 1:57Speaker 2: you keep saying you will and you never do. And
- 2:00Speaker 2: I feel like we have a lot of that, like
- 2:01Speaker 2: on the West Coast where we get really like in
- 2:04Speaker 2: our head or we want to perfect it, you know
- 2:06Speaker 2: what I'm saying, Like, there's a lot of And to me,
- 2:07Speaker 2: I was just like, you know what, I need to
- 2:09Speaker 2: just go and hopefully I just get in a rhythm
- 2:11Speaker 2: where I can just keep on releasing music. It wasn't
- 2:14Speaker 2: so much about album or roll out or what. It
- 2:16Speaker 2: was just like, bitch, go so you can keep going.
- 2:19Speaker 1: Right, you know? Yeah? I mean I know like too,
- 2:22Speaker 1: You've been like like you had a dope this tour.
- 2:25Speaker 1: Do you have another tour coming up right before I
- 2:27Speaker 1: crashed out tours in February? Yes, March March. But I
- 2:31Speaker 1: feel like you just were on tour earlier this year, right, No,
- 2:34Speaker 1: it was late last year, last year. Yeah, everything's been
- 2:37Speaker 1: blended in. But I was like, I was like, oh, yeah,
- 2:39Speaker 1: I mean obviously you stay on the road, but you've
- 2:41Speaker 1: you've kind of gotten to this point where you're also
- 2:44Speaker 1: like a full time content creator. Yeah, you got the podcast,
- 2:48Speaker 1: the stream. Yeah, is it hard to like because that's
- 2:52Speaker 1: got to be like you have so much fun online. Yeah,
- 2:55Speaker 1: your family's involved. I think that's the key.
- 2:58Speaker 2: To this is I actually give like I actually like it,
- 3:02Speaker 2: Like I actually want to hang out with my family,
- 3:05Speaker 2: and like we just turn on a camera and it's
- 3:07Speaker 2: all that home and I have the ranch and I
- 3:08Speaker 2: have the chickens and the goats and the animals and
- 3:10Speaker 2: everything is just there. So it's like it's so much
- 3:12Speaker 2: easier to turn on the camera as opposed to if
- 3:14Speaker 2: I was like going somewhere and like clocking in, clocking
- 3:16Speaker 2: out whatever. And also at this point, my life has
- 3:19Speaker 2: just become whoever's in my life I see and work
- 3:23Speaker 2: with every day. If you if I don't, then you're
- 3:25Speaker 2: not in my life.
- 3:25Speaker 1: You know what I mean? Not for sure? Is it
- 3:28Speaker 1: like because for you? Like it does it take away
- 3:32Speaker 1: from like like you being inspired to make music when
- 3:36Speaker 1: you're you have this other thing going on that is
- 3:39Speaker 1: the content space, Like your stream is very successful, your
- 3:42Speaker 1: podcast is very successful than you, is it? Like like
- 3:45Speaker 1: how do you kind of compartmentalize? Like, Okay, I got
- 3:47Speaker 1: I gotta I gotta get my head in the game,
- 3:49Speaker 1: it's album time, or I gotta, you know, I gotta
- 3:52Speaker 1: put myself in that space where I want to be
- 3:53Speaker 1: creative and work on the on the music, or is
- 3:55Speaker 1: it does it all just kind of float again?
- 3:57Speaker 2: I have ADHD, Yeah, every day is I don't know, Like,
- 4:01Speaker 2: if anything, I think it's having so many little compartmentalized
- 4:04Speaker 2: like parts of my life has helped me actually do
- 4:07Speaker 2: anything right, because what could have happened is I don't
- 4:10Speaker 2: do all those things and then I'm just sitting there
- 4:12Speaker 2: trying to work on music and I can't, and then
- 4:14Speaker 2: I'm I go party, you know what I'm saying, or
- 4:19Speaker 2: like I go get drunk, or I go to the
- 4:21Speaker 2: hills and party where all the artists want to be
- 4:23Speaker 2: at and whatever. And with this it's more like, Okay,
- 4:24Speaker 2: I don't feel like making music right now, let me
- 4:26Speaker 2: go make a podcast, or like I don't feel like podcasting,
- 4:29Speaker 2: let me go work on some music, or I don't
- 4:30Speaker 2: feel like doing that, let me go work on some merch.
- 4:32Speaker 2: Like everything is there, you know, And I genuinely love
- 4:35Speaker 2: the merch aspect of my shit, like I genuinely love
- 4:39Speaker 2: the podcast. I like streaming, going live and for a
- 4:43Speaker 2: I mean for me going on TikTok and going live
- 4:45Speaker 2: while I'm doing my makeup.
- 4:46Speaker 1: It's like I'm gonna do a make up Anywhere're gonna
- 4:47Speaker 1: do it, you might as well. Yeah, engage with your fans. Yeah,
- 4:50Speaker 1: have you seen like new people come to the party
- 4:53Speaker 1: like that weren't necessarily fans of the music or like,
- 4:56Speaker 1: but but they started to become fans of the content,
- 4:59Speaker 1: and then that kind.
- 4:59Speaker 2: Of like them like, yeah, I have I have some
- 5:02Speaker 2: girls that like I'll be like I don't. I don't
- 5:04Speaker 2: love your music, but like, you know, I like watching
- 5:07Speaker 2: you know, your personality school.
- 5:08Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm like.
- 5:08Speaker 2: That's cool, Like I guess it could be offensive, but
- 5:11Speaker 2: it also isn't because it's like I guess it's cooler
- 5:13Speaker 2: that people could fuck with me as a person, you
- 5:15Speaker 2: know what I'm saying.
- 5:16Speaker 1: It's like that's dope. Like, yeah, music is subjective, but
- 5:18Speaker 1: what really matter is like if people fuck with you
- 5:19Speaker 1: as like who you are?
- 5:21Speaker 2: You know, or some people even like the relationship with
- 5:23Speaker 2: my son, like they're just like, I'm I didn't used
- 5:25Speaker 2: to watch you, but now because of your son and
- 5:27Speaker 2: my kids, watch your content with you and your kid,
- 5:29Speaker 2: Like I watch you guys and like that's inspiring. And
- 5:31Speaker 2: I'm like, what at the end of the day, bro,
- 5:33Speaker 2: whatever the whatever it is. I mean, you do a
- 5:35Speaker 2: lot of things, you know, it's like whatever it is,
- 5:37Speaker 2: it's cool. Like as you become a real like adult,
- 5:40Speaker 2: you realize, like, bro, I give you know, I make
- 5:43Speaker 2: a living doing what I love. I hang out with
- 5:46Speaker 2: my family. It's a blessing every day as long as
- 5:48Speaker 2: we're here.
- 5:49Speaker 1: You know, how do you Because my wife is a
- 5:51Speaker 1: big fan of you and your son's dynamic. I guess
- 5:53Speaker 1: she she had told me a she was like, yo,
- 5:56Speaker 1: there was something where I guess he stopped streaming, but
- 6:01Speaker 1: he wanted to buy something, so he streamed like long
- 6:04Speaker 1: enough to like get money to buy yes, something, Yes,
- 6:08Speaker 1: And like he's ridiculous. My wife was like explaining to
- 6:11Speaker 1: me and she showed me one of the videos and
- 6:13Speaker 1: it was fucking hilarious.
- 6:14Speaker 2: It's ridiculous because my fans are in on it. So
- 6:16Speaker 2: he'll be like, guys, I'm only here because I'm gonna
- 6:19Speaker 2: make them. I want to make money, and they're like,
- 6:21Speaker 2: all right, I get it, little man, And I'm just like,
- 6:22Speaker 2: don't don't, don't hype him up because this is why.
- 6:26Speaker 2: And it's like, I'm just it's like the constant fight
- 6:28Speaker 2: to not raise a bitch ass dude, which he's not
- 6:31Speaker 2: gonna be if my life depends on this, but like
- 6:35Speaker 2: you know, I always have to be he stresses me out.
- 6:36Speaker 2: But I think half the time he's trolling, Like I
- 6:38Speaker 2: think he knows, no, he's hilarious, he knows he's stressing
- 6:41Speaker 2: me out.
- 6:42Speaker 1: But like is it Is it because he's got to
- 6:44Speaker 1: have his own little like weird like fans. Yeah, like
- 6:48Speaker 1: is that like weird to deal with as a mom.
- 6:50Speaker 2: Well, I definitely have gotten approached with like your baby
- 6:53Speaker 2: Drew's mom, and I'm like, yeah, like I am, you know,
- 6:56Speaker 2: like at the end of the day in my son's life,
- 6:59Speaker 2: Like I'm just a mom. So if baby Drew becomes
- 7:02Speaker 2: his own person his own personality, his own anything, like
- 7:05Speaker 2: I'm just his mom, Like I just fall by the wayside,
- 7:06Speaker 2: which is totally fine.
- 7:07Speaker 1: Like that's what it's I think he'd be. I mean,
- 7:10Speaker 1: if he like really goes hard on the YouTube shit,
- 7:12Speaker 1: he could pop, especially with your guys property and all
- 7:14Speaker 1: the cool random like shit he could get into.
- 7:15Speaker 2: Right, Yeah, he's just he'd be what I love what
- 7:20Speaker 2: I love is that he's not married to the likes
- 7:22Speaker 2: or the views, like, so he doesn't care, which is
- 7:24Speaker 2: like it could be a great thing, right, it's like,
- 7:26Speaker 2: all right, great, my kid doesn't care. But it could
- 7:28Speaker 2: also be like a or are you just being lazy?
- 7:30Speaker 2: Like I don't know which which side of it it is,
- 7:32Speaker 2: you know. So it's like I like raising a kid
- 7:35Speaker 2: that doesn't wake up every day, like how many likes
- 7:37Speaker 2: did I get?
- 7:37Speaker 1: He doesn't do that.
- 7:38Speaker 2: But at the same time, he doesn't, you know, go
- 7:42Speaker 2: feed the dog.
- 7:43Speaker 1: So I'm like, what's up with the dog? Go go
- 7:45Speaker 1: do some yardwork, clean dog shit?
- 7:47Speaker 2: Yeah, go get the chickens, eggs and shit.
- 7:49Speaker 1: Yesterday I picked up four How many animals in totality?
- 7:52Speaker 2: Do you have four chickens, five dogs? And like no,
- 7:58Speaker 2: four goats, five dogs, and like fifteen chickens.
- 8:01Speaker 1: I think we have three roosters. Get the chickens and rooster?
- 8:04Speaker 1: Do they wake you up in the morning? Oh? The
- 8:05Speaker 1: roosters are crackheads.
- 8:06Speaker 2: They don't even have a time, Like I don't know
- 8:08Speaker 2: what's wrong with them, but they like ten pm they're
- 8:10Speaker 2: going so.
- 8:11Speaker 1: They don't have like because like most like like I
- 8:13Speaker 1: used to grow like my neighbors were Mexican, I had
- 8:16Speaker 1: chicken so we they would wake us up every morning
- 8:18Speaker 1: at the same time. Right, yeah, I get that. Yours
- 8:21Speaker 1: are like they're just like ten pm cocka doodle do.
- 8:24Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm like, what is wrong with you all? They're
- 8:27Speaker 2: just I didn't want roosters. I we thought they were chickens.
- 8:31Speaker 1: They grow up. Now I have three roosters and I
- 8:35Speaker 1: don't know what to do with them. I don't want them.
- 8:36Speaker 1: But but they're there. They're there, and you guys don't
- 8:39Speaker 1: have to ever buy eggs. Right, well, that's a positive.
- 8:43Speaker 1: That's a good thing. Yeah.
- 8:44Speaker 2: I love the chickens. I love the hens. Laying hens amazing.
- 8:46Speaker 1: You guys have just for the sake of like, we
- 8:49Speaker 1: got goats, let's go pet them.
- 8:51Speaker 2: No, they were a gift my eggs bottom for me
- 8:54Speaker 2: for Christmas, which was a gift that keeps on shitting
- 8:57Speaker 2: all over the fucking ranch.
- 9:00Speaker 1: I fuck, I really don't do you pet them? Do
- 9:04Speaker 1: you hang? We hang with them? They're funny. One of
- 9:06Speaker 1: them's names Drake. Do you the goats into the house? No?
- 9:10Speaker 1: They list there's a lady who walks a goat around
- 9:14Speaker 1: like it's a fucking dog.
- 9:16Speaker 2: Yeah, and she has a lot of time on her hands.
- 9:20Speaker 1: Yeah. I mean, like if I feel like, if I
- 9:22Speaker 1: had a goat, I let the goat in a goat.
- 9:24Speaker 2: If when they were babies, I would have done it.
- 9:27Speaker 2: But at the time I had like I had so much.
- 9:29Speaker 2: I've just always been really busy, which is also why
- 9:31Speaker 2: I don't have horses. Like I've always wanted a horse,
- 9:33Speaker 2: but I don't think I have the time right now.
- 9:36Speaker 2: And like, animals need a lot of love, you know,
- 9:37Speaker 2: and a lot of so I do go out there
- 9:39Speaker 2: and I vibe out with them and I'm trying to
- 9:42Speaker 2: figure out a way for them to be useful.
- 9:44Speaker 1: But no, yeah, they're just there. They just cost money.
- 9:48Speaker 3: They're liability even yeah, not even goat yoga or something.
- 9:52Speaker 1: Yeah, like you can't even get like there's goat cheese,
- 9:54Speaker 1: goat milk. Yeah.
- 9:55Speaker 2: And the thing is I had two, and then they
- 9:58Speaker 2: did it, and then they had three, so now I
- 10:00Speaker 2: have that I have five.
- 10:01Speaker 1: But then one so you wait, so you wait, wait,
- 10:05Speaker 1: you had two, they fucked had babies. You have their babies, yes,
- 10:08Speaker 1: but you lost the fifth one to a coyote. Yes. Yeah.
- 10:12Speaker 2: While I was on tour, my mom called me and
- 10:14Speaker 2: was just like, there has been a murder, and I
- 10:17Speaker 2: was like, oh my god, she's crazy more yeah, which
- 10:21Speaker 2: is crazy because when my girl, like my girl first
- 10:23Speaker 2: invited me to uh, we're barely dating. We weren't in
- 10:26Speaker 2: a relationship yet and we're barely dating, and I was
- 10:28Speaker 2: supposed to go to her like corporate party or something,
- 10:30Speaker 2: and I kind of didn't really want to go. But
- 10:32Speaker 2: then also, like, the goats were born. So then I
- 10:34Speaker 2: call her and I'm like, hey, I'm not gonna be
- 10:35Speaker 2: able to make it like I just had baby goats
- 10:37Speaker 2: be born, and I think she didn't buy the story.
- 10:39Speaker 2: So I sent her the picture and I'm like, there's
- 10:41Speaker 2: literally baby goats that I didn't even know my goat
- 10:43Speaker 2: was pregnant. First of all, they're related, so that's crazy,
- 10:45Speaker 2: And now I have anat goats.
- 10:48Speaker 1: They're weird.
- 10:49Speaker 2: Their fucking father uncle is strange. I just the farm
- 10:53Speaker 2: life is like it's cute until.
- 10:55Speaker 1: It's not, and you're just like, do you have dogs
- 10:57Speaker 1: that stay in the house and dogs that don't come
- 10:58Speaker 1: in the house. I have dog. All my dogs stay
- 11:01Speaker 1: in the house.
- 11:02Speaker 2: People tell me to buy dogs like ranch dogs, but
- 11:05Speaker 2: then I feel bad because it's like that's gonna be
- 11:06Speaker 2: like a whole Like I would feel terrible, right like
- 11:09Speaker 2: you're you go over there and you go like.
- 11:11Speaker 1: Like you guys, are there house dogs and there's outside dogs? Yeah? No, no,
- 11:15Speaker 1: what kind of are they? Big dogs? Are they small?
- 11:17Speaker 1: Two peoples?
- 11:18Speaker 2: A cocker Spaniel Achias like little and then her dog
- 11:21Speaker 2: whatever that is?
- 11:22Speaker 1: Whatever that is? So what is it? Every everything? He's
- 11:27Speaker 1: in everything based.
- 11:29Speaker 2: Yeah, he's a crazy man.
- 11:30Speaker 1: His name is Sushi, So out to Sushi. Yeah, you
- 11:35Speaker 1: and your girl are married now are engaged married, officially married? Yeah,
- 11:40Speaker 1: this is a this is a big step.
- 11:42Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, well we yeah, we announced our engagement, but
- 11:45Speaker 2: we we had already gotten married because like to me,
- 11:49Speaker 2: I just did I wanted stuff that isn't for everybody else,
- 11:52Speaker 2: you know, like I wanted to be able to have
- 11:54Speaker 2: my own like private moments and enjoy them. And it
- 11:57Speaker 2: was great, it was beautiful, and and now we're gonna
- 12:00Speaker 2: have the wedding wedding you know, which I'm sure.
- 12:03Speaker 1: Shoot, so you guys are are still going to do
- 12:06Speaker 1: like a big wedding that's like traditional everybody comes yeah,
- 12:10Speaker 1: oh yeah, you know, are you gonna do it at
- 12:12Speaker 1: your house. I don't know. That's what we're barely talking about.
- 12:14Speaker 1: Just do it at your house. The venue suck, and
- 12:16Speaker 1: then they give you like a list of vendors you
- 12:18Speaker 1: could use, and and that shit's hell expensive, Like, yeah,
- 12:21Speaker 1: you did that? Oh yeah, and what happened? Tell me
- 12:24Speaker 1: about it? This is expensive. First of all, I had
- 12:27Speaker 1: to make payments on my wedding. Oh shoot, yeah, I
- 12:30Speaker 1: was like they were like, I think it was like
- 12:32Speaker 1: thirty grand, which is a cheap wedding, by the way,
- 12:35Speaker 1: cheap wedding. But at that time, have you hear this?
- 12:37Speaker 1: Hold on, no, you're going to spend like one hundred
- 12:39Speaker 1: thousand dollars on your wedding? Yo. Me in twenty seventeen
- 12:43Speaker 1: was I was making like eighty grand a year at
- 12:45Speaker 1: real ninety two three, not making a lot of money,
- 12:47Speaker 1: So thirty grand was a serious nut. You're doing much
- 12:51Speaker 1: better than that. Your girl's gonna run it up, just
- 12:53Speaker 1: so you know. This is her only wedding. It's gonna
- 12:56Speaker 1: be fucking all the bells and whistles.
- 12:57Speaker 2: But can't we just spend that hundred grand on the
- 12:59Speaker 2: house on an investment, investment in the rams, make it
- 13:02Speaker 2: look beautiful.
- 13:03Speaker 1: You could just go buy a rent. You could go
- 13:04Speaker 1: buy a fucking fourplex in Palmdale. Yeah, goddamn. Anyway, with
- 13:10Speaker 1: that being said, uh, investment, investment opportunities here, but yeah,
- 13:14Speaker 1: like a lot of these venues they will give you,
- 13:16Speaker 1: Like like, if you want catering, you can only pick
- 13:19Speaker 1: from like a list of caterers that they approved. Why.
- 13:22Speaker 1: It's fucking stupid. It's a it's weird. The wedding ship
- 13:25Speaker 1: is hella strange like that whole industry is very interesting.
- 13:30Speaker 1: But if you have like a lot of property, just
- 13:32Speaker 1: do it at your crib right, just paid wedding planner
- 13:34Speaker 1: and you know, set it up. Put the goats in
- 13:38Speaker 1: the wedding right. Where did you guys get married? I'm
- 13:42Speaker 1: dead at a courthouse?
- 13:43Speaker 2: Like literally it was like on some like random like
- 13:45Speaker 2: little fucking let's just do it now. Because also I
- 13:48Speaker 2: don't know if you saw, but like gay marriage was
- 13:50Speaker 2: like on the chopping block, like they were trying to
- 13:53Speaker 2: put it up on the chopping block.
- 13:54Speaker 1: So as much as.
- 13:55Speaker 2: People be like what you talking about bulletins, it's like, bro,
- 13:58Speaker 2: like they're trying to figure out whether or not it's
- 14:00Speaker 2: legal for me to love the person that I love.
- 14:02Speaker 1: Like that's crazy. Yeah, it's crazy because even like I
- 14:05Speaker 1: guess we're in California, so it feels like I guess
- 14:09Speaker 1: California is a lot of the crazier shit that like
- 14:13Speaker 1: is happening, Like we're kind of protected from in a way.
- 14:16Speaker 2: Kind of until we're not though, Like I think that's
- 14:19Speaker 2: what's happening right now, is that we're also like up
- 14:21Speaker 2: in the air.
- 14:22Speaker 1: You know.
- 14:22Speaker 2: It's like, Okay, but if they like when they started
- 14:26Speaker 2: kind of attacking places, wasn't it first coming into California,
- 14:30Speaker 2: Like when.
- 14:30Speaker 1: They started bringing in like like the ice sh it
- 14:33Speaker 1: is like.
- 14:33Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like they went for the big cities. They
- 14:35Speaker 2: weren't going to the fucking red right e feel me
- 14:38Speaker 2: like they came for us.
- 14:39Speaker 1: Yeah, it's wild. So I was going to ask you,
- 14:43Speaker 1: I want to get into all, you know, all the
- 14:44Speaker 1: politics stuff. But you had a moment at the Don't
- 14:47Speaker 1: Fall In Love festival. Yeah that went viral where you
- 14:50Speaker 1: kind of called out all the Trump people backstage everybody.
- 14:55Speaker 1: But uh, I mean obviously not everybody is aligned pulled
- 15:00Speaker 1: right now. Now. That's the other thing I'll say this,
- 15:03Speaker 1: like if you you know, I just don't understand people
- 15:06Speaker 1: who still bang the trump shit. Yeah, it's like you
- 15:11Speaker 1: could have been like, damn, we got hold we got
- 15:13Speaker 1: like we are it's more respectable to do yeah, Like
- 15:16Speaker 1: you know what, I was tripping like people who still
- 15:18Speaker 1: like doubled Like, to me, that's just like some gang
- 15:20Speaker 1: shit or some cult shit. It's like, what are we doing?
- 15:22Speaker 2: It's not wanting to give up the there's there's there's
- 15:24Speaker 2: a bunch of different ways you could put it.
- 15:26Speaker 1: Right.
- 15:26Speaker 2: There's obviously the people who have been on the correct
- 15:27Speaker 2: side of history, which you know, we were, Okay, we
- 15:30Speaker 2: also have to like calm down and be like, okay,
- 15:32Speaker 2: so what do we do now? Right, because it already happens,
- 15:34Speaker 2: So what do we do? What I don't like is
- 15:36Speaker 2: the people that are one acting like they didn't do
- 15:39Speaker 2: it right. So there's a lot of people that like,
- 15:41Speaker 2: we're hanging out with trump Pees, being trumpees behind the
- 15:44Speaker 2: scenes or even in front of the scenes doing it
- 15:46Speaker 2: and now they're just like scrubbing the internet from it
- 15:49Speaker 2: and they're just like nope, like or trying to become
- 15:52Speaker 2: the voice of the immigrants. Now we're trying to become
- 15:54Speaker 2: the trying to like grift off it.
- 15:56Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying, yeah, I just think like
- 15:57Speaker 1: there's I think people are so like worried about just
- 16:01Speaker 1: like coming out and being like I was wrong. Yeah
- 16:04Speaker 1: I was. I felt like this was the best move,
- 16:07Speaker 1: and I obviously was wrong. Hidezeins twenty twenty. It is
- 16:09Speaker 1: what it is.
- 16:10Speaker 2: You want to know why, because the people that were
- 16:12Speaker 2: telling those type of guys that were doing that not
- 16:15Speaker 2: to do that were like women, their mothers, their sisters,
- 16:20Speaker 2: their girls, and a lot of these dudes that have
- 16:22Speaker 2: that mentality don't want to listen.
- 16:24Speaker 1: They don't want and then now they want to they
- 16:26Speaker 1: don't want to hear it from all those people like
- 16:29Speaker 1: I fucking told you, Yeah, they feel like they gotta
- 16:31Speaker 1: dig in even more.
- 16:32Speaker 2: Yeah you gotta take that out and just be like, yo,
- 16:34Speaker 2: yeah I was wrong. I do you know how much
- 16:36Speaker 2: it's more like respectable it is to hear somebody be like, yo,
- 16:39Speaker 2: you know what, honestly, I was wrong. I'm going to
- 16:41Speaker 2: do more research next time. I'm gonna, you know, if
- 16:44Speaker 2: there there's a teachable moment that okay, cool, But all
- 16:47Speaker 2: these motherfuckers lying, pretending or trying to still be on it.
- 16:52Speaker 1: Or grifting. I think the grift is just the biggest
- 16:55Speaker 1: thing I just don't understand like the new shit to
- 16:57Speaker 1: me that it's wild. It's like seeing so many people
- 17:02Speaker 1: have billion like billionaire psychopathic billionaires backs like they give
- 17:07Speaker 1: a fuck about them. It's like, yo, you guys like
- 17:09Speaker 1: really are like pro mass deportation, but don't bat an
- 17:17Speaker 1: eye or speak out against the fact that like the
- 17:20Speaker 1: AI industry owns the administration and the AI shit is
- 17:23Speaker 1: literally what's actually replacing everyone's jobs, not fucking the immigrants.
- 17:28Speaker 1: It's fucking artificial intelligence, Like that is what's actually replacing
- 17:31Speaker 1: everyone's jobs. Yeah.
- 17:33Speaker 2: I was saying that on the the fucking podcast before
- 17:35Speaker 2: this whole shit happened. I was like, look, you're talking
- 17:37Speaker 2: about immigrants, like who's really coming for your job right now?
- 17:39Speaker 2: Who's definitely gonna be AI fucking Sam Altman, and it's
- 17:42Speaker 2: coming for everybody. And then also it's like they're using
- 17:46Speaker 2: this they're they're they're scapegoating immigrants. But now they're saying like, Okay,
- 17:51Speaker 2: well a real idea isn't enough ID, so now you're
- 17:54Speaker 2: gonna have to figure out a way to ID yourself
- 17:56Speaker 2: that isn't the real ID. So here you go, give
- 17:58Speaker 2: us your iris, your fingerprint as you're this, you're that
- 18:00Speaker 2: put us put you in a fucking database. And if
- 18:02Speaker 2: you're not in that database, So isn't this the whole
- 18:04Speaker 2: thing crazy?
- 18:07Speaker 1: So it's like we're cooked, we are getting ushered into
- 18:10Speaker 1: mass surveillance and yeah, it's spooky shit. And like even
- 18:14Speaker 1: like a lot of the people involved with the Trump administration,
- 18:18Speaker 1: it's not even about I mean he said it. He's like,
- 18:20Speaker 1: why don't we get more immigrants from non shithole countries
- 18:23Speaker 1: or like he I think he mentioned like Denmark, and
- 18:25Speaker 1: I'm like, it's this. I don't know if you know,
- 18:28Speaker 1: Stephen Miller is the fucking devil in the flesh. That motherfucker.
- 18:32Speaker 1: He might be Jewish, but he is a white supremacist.
- 18:34Speaker 1: That guy is a psycho. And that is the guy
- 18:37Speaker 1: who's in charge of all of this fucking deportation. He's terrible.
- 18:42Speaker 1: It is. Do you ever feel like because I know,
- 18:45Speaker 1: every once in a while, like I gotta like unplug
- 18:47Speaker 1: from just the new cycle because it can be mentally
- 18:50Speaker 1: taxing for you. Obviously, you're a gay woman, you're a Latina.
- 18:55Speaker 1: You're also very your public figure who is you know,
- 19:00Speaker 1: very much like outwardly expressed your discontent with what's going on?
- 19:04Speaker 1: Do you ever have to like just take a step back,
- 19:07Speaker 1: like unplugged a little so it doesn't get to YouTube.
- 19:09Speaker 1: Does it ever mentally get to you, like what's going
- 19:11Speaker 1: on in the world? Yeah? I cry a lot.
- 19:15Speaker 2: This project called Before I Crash Out was my Before
- 19:20Speaker 2: I crash Out outlet, so instead of I really was
- 19:24Speaker 2: questioning everything and just being like, bro, what the fuck
- 19:26Speaker 2: is life?
- 19:27Speaker 1: Like this is crazy?
- 19:28Speaker 2: So I started this project and it became awesome to
- 19:34Speaker 2: have something to put all my energy into. But I'm
- 19:36Speaker 2: not gonna lie just this weekend because you were asking me,
- 19:37Speaker 2: how did I do this weekend? I'm like, well, once
- 19:39Speaker 2: the project dropped, I had to sit there with the
- 19:41Speaker 2: reality that like that's it, Like I don't have the
- 19:44Speaker 2: project to do anymore.
- 19:45Speaker 1: Right, Like that was something for you to work on
- 19:47Speaker 1: stay busy, Like yeah.
- 19:48Speaker 2: So I just started crying because I was just like, well,
- 19:52Speaker 2: that's it, Like you know, I mean, obviously I can
- 19:54Speaker 2: work on more music, and I can work on content
- 19:56Speaker 2: or whatever, but I'm just like, at the beginning of
- 19:58Speaker 2: its inception, I was like, at least all have this,
- 20:01Speaker 2: and then now I'm just like Okay, So.
- 20:06Speaker 1: I don't know, man, I feel.
- 20:07Speaker 2: Just as a woman, just as a person, as an adult,
- 20:10Speaker 2: as someone who's growing up, who has the kids and
- 20:13Speaker 2: the wife and just you know who has in my life. Bro,
- 20:17Speaker 2: Even if we weren't in this administration, that's still a
- 20:20Speaker 2: lot to take in, you know, like as a person, Like,
- 20:22Speaker 2: you know, we feel like we was just kids not
- 20:24Speaker 2: that long ago, and all of a sudden we're here
- 20:26Speaker 2: now where our parents were, and we're thinking like, damn,
- 20:28Speaker 2: is this how they felt? And like what is that?
- 20:30Speaker 1: And then between their feel like I'm a kid, it's crazy,
- 20:33Speaker 1: Like I still feel like sometimes I'm like, damn, I'm
- 20:36Speaker 1: fucking I'm thirty eight years old, Like I am a
- 20:40Speaker 1: grown ass. Yeah. You look around and you're like, bro,
- 20:42Speaker 1: this is it? Like this was it? Like when we
- 20:46Speaker 1: were little.
- 20:47Speaker 2: We were like thinking, we're like promised this like and
- 20:50Speaker 2: it's like and even for me, for example, right like
- 20:51Speaker 2: my job is amazing, I'm a rapper, I do shows,
- 20:54Speaker 2: I got fans, I got I got everything, And still
- 20:57Speaker 2: you look around and be like this is it, you know,
- 21:00Speaker 2: like this is this is what you know? So I
- 21:02Speaker 2: can't even imagine like everybody must be feeling it, which
- 21:05Speaker 2: is why now more than ever, just on a human level, Like,
- 21:08Speaker 2: I really just want to connect with people because bro,
- 21:10Speaker 2: this reality just be kind of fucking with me, like
- 21:13Speaker 2: it's fucked. Yeah, So I don't know, I'm gonna throw
- 21:16Speaker 2: more parties, I'm gonna hang out with more people. I'm
- 21:17Speaker 2: gonna go to the park, Like That's why my album
- 21:20Speaker 2: covers like Me on the Grass. I'm like, bro, like
- 21:21Speaker 2: touch grass ground yourself? Have you know, enjoy company conversations,
- 21:27Speaker 2: maybe even things that aren't political. I know people think
- 21:29Speaker 2: that everywhere I go I want to talk about politics,
- 21:30Speaker 2: but I don't.
- 21:31Speaker 1: I think people just think that's what I want to
- 21:33Speaker 1: talk about.
- 21:33Speaker 2: So everybody talks about it, but we talk about anything
- 21:36Speaker 2: except for aliens because I hate talking about aliens.
- 21:38Speaker 1: It's a pointless alien.
- 21:39Speaker 2: Really, what what can you tell me that it's for
- 21:42Speaker 2: sure about aliens?
- 21:42Speaker 1: I just said they're there, that's all I think. I mean,
- 21:46Speaker 1: come on, like, I don't know, they're fucking they gotta be.
- 21:48Speaker 1: There's fucking hieroglyphics that were found that are like nine
- 21:53Speaker 1: hundred thousand years old that have aliens in them. Yeah,
- 21:56Speaker 1: so what the fuck? How they build the fucking pyramids? Yeah?
- 22:00Speaker 1: Fucking aliens. Okay, can I tell you this is something
- 22:03Speaker 1: I've I've shared this before. No white people shit, well
- 22:07Speaker 1: kind of, I mean, I guess, Okay, so my mom hurt. Well,
- 22:10Speaker 1: I guess my aunt my mom's aunt, so whatever that
- 22:13Speaker 1: makes her to me, my mom's aunt is my aunt.
- 22:15Speaker 1: I guess. She married a guy named Doc who was
- 22:19Speaker 1: he worked. He was an engineer at NASA and he
- 22:22Speaker 1: was like one of the first like one hundred employees
- 22:24Speaker 1: at NASA or some shit. So my mom went back east.
- 22:27Speaker 1: They live in Maryland, so she went back east to
- 22:30Speaker 1: visit them in like ninety eight, ninety nine some shit,
- 22:32Speaker 1: I don't know. And she asked him at dinner if
- 22:35Speaker 1: there were aliens, and he told my mom that he's
- 22:39Speaker 1: not allowed to answer that, but what he can say
- 22:42Speaker 1: is that if most people knew what was really in
- 22:44Speaker 1: the ocean, people couldn't handle it and they'd killed themselves.
- 22:49Speaker 1: I can understand that. And I'm just thinking they're coming.
- 22:52Speaker 1: It's it's not up there, it's down there.
- 22:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 22:55Speaker 1: Yeah. The ocean is so like we don't even know
- 22:58Speaker 1: what the fuck's out there. Shit is like most of
- 23:02Speaker 1: the world unexplored.
- 23:05Speaker 2: I know, but it's like we're not going to I
- 23:08Speaker 2: don't know, I don't know. I'm just like, I'm just
- 23:09Speaker 2: I just like I think when we talk about aliens,
- 23:12Speaker 2: it's just like we're not gonna do shit.
- 23:14Speaker 1: Do you know what's crazy? No, there's been like, you know,
- 23:17Speaker 1: congressional hearings about aliens and like government employees saying that
- 23:21Speaker 1: they're pretty much real. Yeah, but it's just like we
- 23:23Speaker 1: live in such a crazy time that it doesn't even
- 23:26Speaker 1: penetrate the news cycle for real, Like no one gives
- 23:28Speaker 1: a fuck. We've been so conditioned by all these movies
- 23:30Speaker 1: in Hollywood to be like, yeah, of course there's aliens.
- 23:32Speaker 1: We were watching them fucking on TV. We watched Independence
- 23:35Speaker 1: Day and all this shit. So when they really do come,
- 23:38Speaker 1: which I think will happen before we both die, yeah,
- 23:41Speaker 1: I think soon we're gonna know.
- 23:43Speaker 2: Well, they need to do something, and they need to
- 23:44Speaker 2: fix a lot of these things. There's potholes, there's a
- 23:47Speaker 2: lot of technology.
- 23:49Speaker 1: We drop a nuke before someone decides they want to
- 23:51Speaker 1: nuke somebody. The aliens are gonna come down and be like, hey, hey, hey.
- 23:54Speaker 2: Well, in order to have a new world order and
- 23:56Speaker 2: in order for everybody to be under one government, they're
- 23:58Speaker 2: gonna have to say something there against all of us.
- 24:01Speaker 2: Let's all listen to this one fucking group of people
- 24:04Speaker 2: right here. That's what's gonna happen.
- 24:06Speaker 1: Yeah, the New World Order is a real thing. I know.
- 24:09Speaker 1: The globalist movement is winning, y'all. It is winning. Hey,

- 24:38Speaker 1: some socks, you get some draws. They're affordable, they end
- 24:41Speaker 1: up with holes in them. They don't really feel great.

- 25:51Speaker 1: I feel like, were you like nervous at all about
- 25:56Speaker 1: coming forward and doing like more of a political record
- 25:59Speaker 1: and like how your fans are it? No, I mean
- 26:01Speaker 1: I feel like because you've always been not spoken to
- 26:04Speaker 1: your interviews and ship and.
- 26:05Speaker 2: Like I've always been doing ever since the last time
- 26:09Speaker 2: that this dude was running. I had songs, I had
- 26:11Speaker 2: this pian that I was talking about.
- 26:13Speaker 1: Remember you had the legalized my mom fucking ship.
- 26:17Speaker 2: Yeah, it was a long like what was that like
- 26:19Speaker 2: a decade ago? That was like back then, it was
- 26:23Speaker 2: like against like it was against the Democrats.
- 26:25Speaker 1: What I don't like like back then though, there wasn't
- 26:27Speaker 1: as many people in the Latin community, because that's damn
- 26:29Speaker 1: near A big reason why he did win was a
- 26:31Speaker 1: lot of Latins did vote for him, which is you.
- 26:34Speaker 2: Know, yeah, because how do I explain this. I mean,
- 26:40Speaker 2: you had a big moment here. You had mc magic
- 26:42Speaker 2: right here.
- 26:43Speaker 1: He did say all that.
- 26:45Speaker 2: Right here and explain to you why he's a Trump supporter,
- 26:49Speaker 2: and then proceeded to back it up with facts that
- 26:51Speaker 2: were Democrats that did that.
- 26:54Speaker 1: So it's like you, you, you voted for this.
- 26:56Speaker 2: Guy based on getting food stamps and stuff, which were
- 27:00Speaker 2: not what he stands for. It's actually the opposite. And
- 27:04Speaker 2: then you sat here and said that and a lot
- 27:06Speaker 2: of people back that up. A lot of people didn't,
- 27:09Speaker 2: and a lot of people didn't. The thing is that
- 27:10Speaker 2: it's polarizing, but at the end of the day, at
- 27:12Speaker 2: least it's a conversation and you're right back when I
- 27:14Speaker 2: was first talking about it. Not that many fucking people
- 27:17Speaker 2: gave a fuck, And that's the problem. The problem is
- 27:19Speaker 2: I've always came off as like the angry girl are like,
- 27:21Speaker 2: I never blew up, I never did anything because because
- 27:24Speaker 2: snow's confrontational and it's like, well, I've been sitting here
- 27:26Speaker 2: telling you all about this shit for like how long,
- 27:28Speaker 2: and y'all don't give a fuck. It's like what me
- 27:30Speaker 2: and a mortal technique telling you motherfuckers?
- 27:31Speaker 1: Like, who the fuck out? I say this shit all
- 27:33Speaker 1: the time. I always say this, like we need more
- 27:36Speaker 1: fucking immortal technique energy in the fucking world. Like.
- 27:40Speaker 2: The problem is if I was a man, like if
- 27:41Speaker 2: I was, if I was the man y'all are looking for,
- 27:44Speaker 2: I would literally be getting my fucking flowers. But I'm
- 27:47Speaker 2: a woman, so people don't want to hear from a woman.
- 27:50Speaker 1: I feel like I feel like, I feel like you've
- 27:51Speaker 1: been getting your flowers a lot. I don't think so.
- 27:53Speaker 2: I feel like if I was a man, I would
- 27:55Speaker 2: absolutely and by the way, fuck my flowers.
- 27:57Speaker 1: That's not about that it's about. I just wish that.
- 28:01Speaker 2: It was more normalized to hear a woman talk and
- 28:04Speaker 2: be like, you know what, she kind of hate that,
- 28:06Speaker 2: Like why is that so difficult? Like I feel like
- 28:08Speaker 2: guys are like I don't want to hear that girl.
- 28:10Speaker 2: I want a man in my ear to tell me
- 28:11Speaker 2: what to do. It's like you like, guys, you tell me.
- 28:14Speaker 2: Why are guys so like gangy about that? It's so like,
- 28:20Speaker 2: fuck these bitches. It's all about my boys.
- 28:22Speaker 1: And I just want to hang out with I think
- 28:24Speaker 1: like when I think of like, uh, most men, the
- 28:30Speaker 1: perspective I hear is it's not relatable, yeah for them
- 28:36Speaker 1: here to hear a message from a girl. But I'm
- 28:38Speaker 1: not saying that I'm in that. Yeah, but I got
- 28:41Speaker 1: homie story like that. Who like if I'm like fucking
- 28:43Speaker 1: listening to like Glow really in the car some shit
- 28:45Speaker 1: like I turn the sh out, I'm like this is
- 28:46Speaker 1: Max or like or like yourself or you know, Rhap
- 28:49Speaker 1: City is an incredible MC too. But I do feel
- 28:53Speaker 1: like like it's it's just like I.
- 28:56Speaker 2: Think hearing a Latina woman talk is not going to
- 28:59Speaker 2: be the same because you you you know what I'm
- 29:00Speaker 2: saying like I feel like, I don't know, it would
- 29:05Speaker 2: be different if if guys are like, oh, I don't
- 29:06Speaker 2: like you and girls talk about the pussy. But like
- 29:07Speaker 2: I'm telling you some like real shit.
- 29:11Speaker 1: RHAPSO is like always kind of. I feel like you
- 29:13Speaker 1: guys are high level mcs, but I do feel like
- 29:17Speaker 1: a lot of dudes, for whatever reason, have like a
- 29:19Speaker 1: sexist taste of hip. It's weird thing though, yeah, because
- 29:23Speaker 1: I I literally it was so funny.
- 29:25Speaker 2: I screenshot this this morning because I was like scrolling
- 29:26Speaker 2: or whatever, and then I saw some posts of like
- 29:28Speaker 2: Travis Scott and some some dude who's like the only
- 29:31Speaker 2: man I would go gay for, And then there was
- 29:34Speaker 2: like three comments it was Travis and this, then that lady,
- 29:36Speaker 2: that one, that one lady that everybody says it's a witch,
- 29:39Speaker 2: and literally it's like why is she there? Why is
- 29:40Speaker 2: he there with her?
- 29:41Speaker 1: Right? And it's all.
- 29:43Speaker 2: So there's like there's like like all the dudes. Yeah,
- 29:46Speaker 2: the there's all these dudes saying why is she there?
- 29:48Speaker 1: Why is she there?
- 29:49Speaker 2: Only dude I would go gay for. I was at
- 29:51Speaker 2: I was in in Vegas and it was like future
- 29:54Speaker 2: passed by and like literally it was packed or whatever,
- 29:57Speaker 2: and then there's just this dude like a love you twin,
- 30:01Speaker 2: I love you twin to him, like.
- 30:03Speaker 1: Right, and I'm just man groupies are wild. The man groupies.
- 30:07Speaker 2: Literally, I just have my release party and like the
- 30:10Speaker 2: dudes were on the couch like there was pretty girls
- 30:13Speaker 2: right there. The dudes were on the couch like this,
- 30:15Speaker 2: and I literally had to get on the mic and
- 30:16Speaker 2: be like all the men, get out of my VIP section,
- 30:20Speaker 2: get down and let the girls shake their ass Like I.
- 30:23Speaker 1: Was just like, what is happening? Dudes.
- 30:25Speaker 2: Dudes are very and I'm sure your comments are gonna
- 30:28Speaker 2: go crazy because I know there's.
- 30:29Speaker 1: A lot of because there are so many like the
- 30:31Speaker 1: male groupie, uh, epidemics, epidemic is spreading. It's it's cringey. Yeah.
- 30:38Speaker 1: The craziest sh it is like where you'll be like,
- 30:39Speaker 1: because I have a nightclub in Scotts there that I'm
- 30:41Speaker 1: a part owner of. Whenever we have an artist there
- 30:43Speaker 1: or some shit, you'll I'll see what my I'll see
- 30:47Speaker 1: motherfuckers go out of their way to try to sneak
- 30:49Speaker 1: into a section if we have like an artist, and
- 30:52Speaker 1: I'll be like, yo, who the fuck are you with? Like, bro,
- 30:55Speaker 1: get the fuck out of here. Like like people will
- 30:57Speaker 1: like put all their pride to the side just to
- 31:00Speaker 1: try to get there.
- 31:01Speaker 2: It'll be a dude that will be dogging a girl
- 31:03Speaker 2: like shit and.
- 31:08Speaker 1: Holding some yeah bottling ship. Oh my godness, that's what
- 31:11Speaker 1: I'm saying.
- 31:12Speaker 2: It's like, it's like, Okay, so I have a song
- 31:13Speaker 2: called Painted White. You're not gonna tell me that that
- 31:16Speaker 2: that that song is not relatable. Even a dude came
- 31:18Speaker 2: fucking hear that song and be like yeah, because I said,
- 31:21Speaker 2: I you claim the street smart.
- 31:22Speaker 1: You don't know you left and right.
- 31:23Speaker 2: You're a fucking idiot surrounded by the lame as guys.
- 31:26Speaker 2: Twenty dudes up in your section swear that the club
- 31:28Speaker 2: should raise the price. I blame all three pigmy bitches
- 31:32Speaker 2: in your section. Got you hype bottle gone and you're
- 31:34Speaker 2: just chasing all the juice to chase with.
- 31:35Speaker 1: Ice, chasing a juice to chase Well, that's true. That
- 31:41Speaker 1: be them, that is true. So why I want to
- 31:44Speaker 1: ask you you you had a uh, you know, because
- 31:49Speaker 1: I feel like you've had an interesting journey through music
- 31:51Speaker 1: where like you did the major label thing, you kind
- 31:55Speaker 1: of you know, had to kind of just really building
- 32:00Speaker 1: this community, build this fan base on your own, because
- 32:02Speaker 1: I remember when you're on Atlantic. I don't know if
- 32:04Speaker 1: anybody has ever been more mishandled. A lot of people
- 32:07Speaker 1: were mishandled by Atlantic, but you specifically, I want to
- 32:10Speaker 1: know how cool was it and or frustrating was it
- 32:15Speaker 1: when you get the Latin Grammy nomination. There had to
- 32:20Speaker 1: be just the craziest switch up where like motherfuckers had
- 32:23Speaker 1: to like really just like did like did did you
- 32:27Speaker 1: feel people switch up or like start to come to
- 32:29Speaker 1: the party where you were like, oh, well, you know
- 32:31Speaker 1: I've been doing this for I mean that you're an
- 32:32Speaker 1: og you know what I'm saying, Like that, how.
- 32:38Speaker 2: I feel like you would think that certain moments to
- 32:43Speaker 2: live of like make people. But it almost okay, let's
- 32:48Speaker 2: use this whole thing. People voted for Trump. They see
- 32:50Speaker 2: that they're wrong, and they almost want to hold onto
- 32:53Speaker 2: that because they don't want to They don't want.
- 32:55Speaker 1: To be like, oh I was wrong.
- 32:56Speaker 2: So it's almost like the more that I do, the
- 32:58Speaker 2: more people are just like nah, nah it like it
- 33:02Speaker 2: really I feel it.
- 33:02Speaker 1: I see it.
- 33:03Speaker 2: Like there's been times where it's like people they just
- 33:08Speaker 2: don't want I don't know I don't know what it is,
- 33:10Speaker 2: and I've had to go to a lot of therapy
- 33:12Speaker 2: to figure out that.
- 33:13Speaker 1: Like, I just can't.
- 33:15Speaker 2: I can't wait for the moment that this industry sees it, right,
- 33:21Speaker 2: I just can't. You can only do like worry about
- 33:23Speaker 2: who does see it and who does support you. Right,
- 33:25Speaker 2: I'll tell you the truth. This is pre pre therapy.
- 33:28Speaker 2: I signed to Atlantic to get the latinos in this
- 33:32Speaker 2: industry to give a fuck about me. I wouldn't have
- 33:34Speaker 2: gone there. I already had my I had recorded my
- 33:36Speaker 2: whole first project. I had like drunk Love, the song
- 33:40Speaker 2: that got me signed, Holy shit, the song that got
- 33:42Speaker 2: me signed.
- 33:43Speaker 1: I had already.
- 33:43Speaker 2: Recorded all that on my own with the same guy
- 33:45Speaker 2: that I just made this fucking with Poomba for me.
- 33:47Speaker 2: So I was like, my brother was doing the videos,
- 33:49Speaker 2: my cousin's doing the merch, Poomba's doing my beats. It's
- 33:52Speaker 2: the same fucking people. And that was pre Atlantic.
- 33:54Speaker 1: That was pre.
- 33:57Speaker 2: Street Signs, which was the label that came to me
- 34:00Speaker 2: and tried to sign me right before. They had me
- 34:02Speaker 2: for like three months and then I got signed because
- 34:03Speaker 2: I was so fucking that deal. So had it not
- 34:06Speaker 2: been for like my own people fucking me over with
- 34:09Speaker 2: that deal that never got never paid me for the
- 34:11Speaker 2: last twenty second years.
- 34:12Speaker 1: Fucking god, damn.
- 34:15Speaker 3: I don't even know twelve eleven because I feel like
- 34:17Speaker 3: Atlanta was likeeen sixteen fourteen.
- 34:20Speaker 1: No, it was like it was like Atlantic, who you
- 34:22Speaker 1: ended up with? Atlantic was fifteen fourteen.
- 34:25Speaker 2: We're we're extra unking right now, not remembering any other
- 34:28Speaker 2: you got yeah, yeah, yeah, no, but yeah, you feel me.
- 34:32Speaker 2: So it was like, I feel like looking for that
- 34:38Speaker 2: acceptance from people in this industry is what has led
- 34:41Speaker 2: me down the worst paths. So the only times I've
- 34:44Speaker 2: ever actually been happy or for example, got to got
- 34:47Speaker 2: to the Latin Grammy Mountain Nation, got to all of
- 34:49Speaker 2: that was when I just stayed at home, stayed to
- 34:53Speaker 2: flow rap, put the shit out, fuck with my fans,
- 34:56Speaker 2: did you show up?
- 34:57Speaker 1: That's it?
- 34:58Speaker 2: You feel me like not even a manager. And this
- 35:00Speaker 2: is no shade to anyone who I've worked with as
- 35:02Speaker 2: a manager, but I do feel like I'm just such
- 35:04Speaker 2: a specific like artists, like being queer, being Latina, being
- 35:09Speaker 2: daughter of immigrants, being Mexican, being bilingual, being from where
- 35:12Speaker 2: I'm from. There's just so many things that it's like, bro,
- 35:14Speaker 2: by the time I argue with you, why I think
- 35:16Speaker 2: we should do this, I should have just done the shit.
- 35:18Speaker 2: So I don't want to disrespect anybody's opinion. I'd rather
- 35:21Speaker 2: just like be by myself and just do it, you know,
- 35:23Speaker 2: and by myself. It doesn't mean by myself, I'm my brother,
- 35:26Speaker 2: I'm my cousin.
- 35:27Speaker 1: My family.
- 35:28Speaker 2: It's just more like it's just so specific. And also
- 35:32Speaker 2: it's about being happy. Bro. I think at the end
- 35:34Speaker 2: of the day, everybody just doesn't understand that artists mental
- 35:37Speaker 2: health is like so fucking important that if we if
- 35:40Speaker 2: we're not happy and healthy, nothing moves or it does,
- 35:45Speaker 2: but we're gonna fucking kill ourselves.
- 35:47Speaker 1: How many artists have not done it?
- 35:48Speaker 2: You know what I mean?
- 35:49Speaker 1: You feel like I feel like there was a point
- 35:50Speaker 1: in time whe I feel like you were drinking a lot.
- 35:51Speaker 1: Do you feel like you ever kind of had any
- 35:53Speaker 1: issues with just I was fucking mile, I was depressed.
- 35:56Speaker 1: I was miserable, dude.
- 35:57Speaker 2: I remember it was around the time, around the time
- 36:00Speaker 2: where like we're like Peep died or rip and like
- 36:03Speaker 2: where a lot of different artists were just kind of like,
- 36:05Speaker 2: you know, either whether it was drugs or it was
- 36:07Speaker 2: street or it was whatever it was, like I did
- 36:09Speaker 2: see it just be bleak. I feel like this shit
- 36:12Speaker 2: is I feel like growing old as a rapper should
- 36:16Speaker 2: be looked at as a as like so much more
- 36:19Speaker 2: of a like great thing to happen, because so much
- 36:23Speaker 2: happens to us that it's like, bro, this shit fucking sucks,
- 36:26Speaker 2: especially being a woman, like it sucks.
- 36:29Speaker 1: I mean, listen, You've been able to create an amazing
- 36:33Speaker 1: life based on your.
- 36:34Speaker 2: Talents, you know what, And mind you, look at what
- 36:36Speaker 2: you said I was drinking. Do I think I had
- 36:38Speaker 2: a problem? I mean, you see the every single fucking
- 36:41Speaker 2: male rapper every time you see them, Papa Champagne drinking
- 36:43Speaker 2: having bitches?
- 36:46Speaker 1: Who are men who I've been like, hey man, you
- 36:49Speaker 1: are you good? Look at how many years did it
- 36:51Speaker 1: take to finally fake? Look at Didny not? Even like
- 36:55Speaker 1: there's friends of the show who have serious drinking problems
- 36:58Speaker 1: who I've had to be like, hey, yeah, but mind you.
- 37:03Speaker 2: It's like, for example, when I was drinking, and shit,
- 37:05Speaker 2: it's like I was drinking. I was going through like
- 37:07Speaker 2: all this shit and it's like, at least I didn't
- 37:11Speaker 2: do what I could have done, because I could have
- 37:13Speaker 2: fucked a lot of people that I could have gone
- 37:15Speaker 2: on the internet and said the wildest. I literally just
- 37:18Speaker 2: knew at least how to keep my composure enough to
- 37:22Speaker 2: get on that bus, get to the next show, sell
- 37:25Speaker 2: the fucking tickets, perform my fucking show, go back in
- 37:29Speaker 2: the bus, do it again, like just shut up and
- 37:32Speaker 2: dribble basically, and eventually, thank god, I uh just had to,
- 37:37Speaker 2: you know, face reality and be like, bitch, we can't
- 37:40Speaker 2: keep doing this shit.
- 37:40Speaker 1: So what inspired you to start going to therapy?
- 37:46Speaker 2: I went to counseling and therapy, Like throughout my life,
- 37:49Speaker 2: I've done it because I've I'm really I'm really neuro diversion,
- 37:52Speaker 2: Like I really do have ADHD, so it's hard to
- 37:56Speaker 2: deal with sometimes, so I've always done it. I think
- 38:00Speaker 2: as an adult, I thought I was over all my
- 38:02Speaker 2: childhood trauma.
- 38:02Speaker 1: Shit.
- 38:03Speaker 2: I was just like, yeah, whatever, I already know you
- 38:05Speaker 2: know what I'm saying. It's like, we know what it is.
- 38:07Speaker 2: But it wasn't until this last time that I really
- 38:09Speaker 2: started up that I was like, oh shit, Like, even
- 38:11Speaker 2: though you know what it is and you can point
- 38:13Speaker 2: at it, doesn't mean you are healed from it, you know.
- 38:17Speaker 2: And I think that's the biggest thing. It's always going
- 38:20Speaker 2: to be a work in progress. It's always going to
- 38:21Speaker 2: be constantly, constantly checking on everything and just realizing that it.
- 38:27Speaker 1: Just is what it is.
- 38:28Speaker 2: Man, Sometimes we can't let go. There's been debts in
- 38:30Speaker 2: the family. There's been people that you're not going to
- 38:32Speaker 2: see ever again. There's you know, issues maybe with parents
- 38:36Speaker 2: not accepting you. You know what I'm saying, It's like,
- 38:39Speaker 2: how do you get over not being accepted because you're
- 38:41Speaker 2: gay by the person that's supposed to love you, Like,
- 38:44Speaker 2: there's I can't imagine.
- 38:45Speaker 1: That's Yeah, that's crazy. So would you suggest like, because
- 38:51Speaker 1: I feel like a lot of people are so hesitant
- 38:52Speaker 1: to like get to the point where they go sit
- 38:54Speaker 1: down because they think it makes them weak or some shit.
- 38:57Speaker 1: But I feel like everybody needs a little bit of
- 38:59Speaker 1: therapy at some point. Yeah.
- 39:01Speaker 2: Well, anytime you're overcompensating, it's because you do feel weak, right,
- 39:04Speaker 2: Like even me, Like people will be like, oh, I'm
- 39:06Speaker 2: confrontational or I'm talking all this shit, and it's like, yeah, inside,
- 39:08Speaker 2: like sometimes we feel maybe I'm defending immigrants and doing
- 39:12Speaker 2: all that because I feel some people didn't defend me.
- 39:14Speaker 2: So maybe I'm defending people who need to be defended.
- 39:16Speaker 2: Maybe whenever I'm talking and on behalf of like people
- 39:19Speaker 2: who have suffered abuse or whatever. I'm doing it because
- 39:22Speaker 2: like maybe when I was young, I wish somebody would
- 39:24Speaker 2: have defended me, Like same thing with a lot of y'all,
- 39:26Speaker 2: Like maybe there's people that are right now just being
- 39:28Speaker 2: extra tough or whatever, and it's like, you never know,
- 39:31Speaker 2: you might be able to funnel that energy into something
- 39:33Speaker 2: positive and actually be able to help the world. And
- 39:35Speaker 2: I will say it's way more fulfilling to like put
- 39:38Speaker 2: that energy into something positive than it is to just
- 39:40Speaker 2: like go out there and fire or fucking get.
- 39:43Speaker 1: Drunk, right right, yeah, one hundred percent. I know, like
- 39:48Speaker 1: when you have this moment a few years ago and
- 39:51Speaker 1: you get the nomination for the Grammy, that there had
- 39:53Speaker 1: to have been a lot of major labels or situations
- 39:56Speaker 1: knocking on your door where you tempted it all to
- 39:59Speaker 1: jump back in the matrix.
- 40:03Speaker 2: I think that's been my biggest thing, is like whenever
- 40:06Speaker 2: I have had those moments, there has been times when
- 40:10Speaker 2: I low key get pulled a little bit back in
- 40:13Speaker 2: the matrix, and then I end up like being mad
- 40:15Speaker 2: at myself because I'd be like, bitch.
- 40:16Speaker 1: You knew not to give that motherfucker a chance. And
- 40:20Speaker 1: I know for a fact because I could at that time.
- 40:22Speaker 1: I know I was I was working with Empire at
- 40:24Speaker 1: that time, and I know Empire was interested. I know
- 40:25Speaker 1: a lot of people were like, wait, she's independent. At
- 40:28Speaker 1: the time, you didn't have a manager, which you ended
- 40:30Speaker 1: up getting a manager for a little bit, but obviously
- 40:32Speaker 1: your manager list right now. But I just always wonder, like,
- 40:35Speaker 1: I have a manager, I'm my own manager, right you're
- 40:38Speaker 1: managed Snow, managed by Snow.
- 40:40Speaker 2: Period.
- 40:41Speaker 1: It works, but I do know, like I've had homies
- 40:43Speaker 1: of mine who have a really bad taste in their
- 40:45Speaker 1: mouth for the major label system and then they get
- 40:48Speaker 1: on the other side of it and they have a
- 40:49Speaker 1: moment and then they end up back in the major
- 40:51Speaker 1: label system. And sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn't work.
- 40:54Speaker 1: Sometimes it's like, well you should just stay independent. But
- 40:55Speaker 1: like I always wonder like that moment specifically, it's hard,
- 41:00Speaker 1: it's difficult. Here's some of those numbers you're hearing. You're like,
- 41:02Speaker 1: how much is the advance?
- 41:03Speaker 2: Like, yeah, it's difficult, mostly because you know that this
- 41:08Speaker 2: is a machine, you know, I know that like being
- 41:13Speaker 2: independent means being independent the way I am means bitch,
- 41:18Speaker 2: they are not coming to help you. There's not gonna
- 41:20Speaker 2: be anything, you know. So so it does get tempting
- 41:23Speaker 2: because you're like, dude, I could, I could be on
- 41:26Speaker 2: their team and then they'll help me, you know. But
- 41:28Speaker 2: it's like it just feels that much worse when they don't.
- 41:30Speaker 2: So I'm at this point it's really like a bad relationship.
- 41:32Speaker 2: It's like you could keep giving that relationship that chance
- 41:37Speaker 2: and just it never fucking works out.
- 41:40Speaker 1: So why do it?
- 41:41Speaker 2: But I don't know, dude, at this point, I never
- 41:45Speaker 2: even needed that much, like as far as like even
- 41:47Speaker 2: like money or success, Like I think I'm living a
- 41:49Speaker 2: pretty good life. I like where I'm at, like, and
- 41:52Speaker 2: sometimes I struggle with whether that's fear, like whether I'm
- 41:55Speaker 2: scared to go bigger, or if it's also just peace.
- 41:58Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, I think it's I think quality of
- 42:00Speaker 1: life is also like peace of mind because sometimes like
- 42:04Speaker 1: I could always use a bigger house and I always
- 42:05Speaker 1: use nicer things and more money to make it was like, yo,
- 42:08Speaker 1: peace of mind is really the real I think, like
- 42:10Speaker 1: barometer of success, like can you can you do what
- 42:13Speaker 1: you love and make sure everybody around you straight. And
- 42:17Speaker 1: when you go to sleep at night, are you happy?
- 42:18Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying.
- 42:19Speaker 2: Yeah, when I wake up, when I wake up in
- 42:21Speaker 2: the morning, like I'm a peaceful morning at the ranch,
- 42:24Speaker 2: or I'm gonna be like stressed out overthinking, oh my god,
- 42:27Speaker 2: did we get this?
- 42:27Speaker 1: Did we get that? My bottom line.
- 42:29Speaker 2: Isn't huge, So I could, you know, kind of do
- 42:33Speaker 2: what I need to do as opposed to when you
- 42:34Speaker 2: all the label, all that money they give you that
- 42:36Speaker 2: big as advanced.
- 42:37Speaker 1: And that's it, and that's it. Now you got to
- 42:39Speaker 1: hit the road. Yeah, you gotta. Well, I mean you
- 42:41Speaker 1: have you have obviously the ability to monetize so much,
- 42:44Speaker 1: you know, outside of just like the streams, because so
- 42:46Speaker 1: many artists the only thing they can do is get
- 42:48Speaker 1: an advance because they don't have fans. Yeah, and I don't.
- 42:52Speaker 2: I'm not focusing so much on streams, Like even though
- 42:55Speaker 2: I'm streaming, well, I'm not focusing on streams right now.
- 42:58Speaker 2: Like I'm really I went directed consumer. I went you know, like,
- 43:02Speaker 2: pay what you can or pay what you want on
- 43:03Speaker 2: the album, get the physical copy, go see me on tour,
- 43:07Speaker 2: Buy real tickets Real National Tour from you know, thirty
- 43:11Speaker 2: something cities or whatever. It's like that's my focus and
- 43:14Speaker 2: I'm still streaming better than some of the Every time
- 43:17Speaker 2: they make these fucking these lists of like you know,
- 43:19Speaker 2: Mexican American artists or Mexican American rappers, is like they
- 43:23Speaker 2: they tend to leave me out, and I'm.
- 43:24Speaker 1: Like, nothing happen a lot. I've noticed like when like
- 43:27Speaker 1: I'm like some of the some of the fool blogs
- 43:29Speaker 1: like Shouts of Food Community and those guys, like when
- 43:31Speaker 1: they do their list Snow's always like kind of kind
- 43:33Speaker 1: of low.
- 43:34Speaker 2: I'm like, I literally be asking myself. I'm like, are
- 43:36Speaker 2: they going based off ticket sales per year? Are they
- 43:39Speaker 2: going based off monthly listeners on Spotify? Are we going
- 43:43Speaker 2: based off like streams?
- 43:46Speaker 1: Like? What are we going based off?
- 43:49Speaker 2: Like?
- 43:49Speaker 1: What is it?
- 43:49Speaker 2: And then, by the way, this is a very factual thing.
- 43:52Speaker 2: It's not even just a woman complaining. I'm just like, Okay,
- 43:54Speaker 2: what is what is the criteria that we do? You know,
- 43:59Speaker 2: I don't know any of these lists.
- 44:01Speaker 1: I have no idea. Want to give a shout out
- 44:03Speaker 1: to our family at Roken Man, Broken h Listen. I

- 45:06Speaker 1: Follow them and check them out rocancannabis dot com. I
- 45:08Speaker 1: always wonder like, uh, you have such a great I
- 45:11Speaker 1: feel like you know you're one of those artists that
- 45:16Speaker 1: Tech calls every couple of years to hit get on
- 45:19Speaker 1: his album. What can you just kind of explain your guys'
- 45:22Speaker 1: relationship and what has been like to kind of have
- 45:25Speaker 1: Tech nine embrace you, you know, from an early stage
- 45:29Speaker 1: in your career the techs, Like, I feel like if
- 45:32Speaker 1: you go to a snow show, there's like this cool
- 45:34Speaker 1: gumbo pot of fans who know you from different shit,
- 45:38Speaker 1: you know what I mean, Like, yeah, it's like a
- 45:40Speaker 1: very diverse crowd. It's very different, Like you're like very
- 45:43Speaker 1: much like you have your own thing. But I know,
- 45:45Speaker 1: I know like a lot of my friends like first
- 45:48Speaker 1: got hit to you from from like hearing you on
- 45:50Speaker 1: a Tech record.
- 45:52Speaker 2: Yeah. He's always told me that he's really a fan
- 45:58Speaker 2: of my like technical skills rapping. Yeah, So like there'll
- 46:02Speaker 2: be times where I'll drop a song or whatever and
- 46:05Speaker 2: he'll randomly just text me the song and be like goddamn,
- 46:07Speaker 2: like that right, And I know, like like now I
- 46:11Speaker 2: know the technicalities of that he's talking about because he won't.
- 46:14Speaker 2: It won't be every song, but it'll be like specific
- 46:17Speaker 2: things I do in a song where he'll be like
- 46:18Speaker 2: that shit was fire, you know. So I think just
- 46:21Speaker 2: as a fan of like rap music, when you get
- 46:24Speaker 2: to a certain technical standpoint or for example, lyric like
- 46:27Speaker 2: me being friends with Tech nine and Immortal Technique to
- 46:30Speaker 2: me is like it speaks to me as an artist
- 46:33Speaker 2: as a rapper, you know what I'm saying, Like, yeah, industry, whatever, lists,
- 46:37Speaker 2: whatever we're talking about is whatever. But like when we're
- 46:39Speaker 2: really sitting here talking that I were bar for bar
- 46:43Speaker 2: up up there, I'm like, okay, boom, Like I I
- 46:46Speaker 2: feel that's the type of ship that keeps me going
- 46:48Speaker 2: that I'm like, okay, I'm not tripping.
- 46:49Speaker 1: Yeah. It's like if some of the greatest of all
- 46:51Speaker 1: time are are fans of you, that tells you, like
- 46:54Speaker 1: all you really need to know that's yeah, because otherwise
- 46:57Speaker 1: I don't quit a long time ago FU fan, Like
- 46:59Speaker 1: like who cares what a blog says, like yeah Tech
- 47:03Speaker 1: nine is hit, and you're like yo, if Immortal tech
- 47:06Speaker 1: who's also one of them? One or even.
- 47:07Speaker 2: Whenever, like I'm in the room with like one of
- 47:09Speaker 2: these huge fucking artists and they go snow and I'll
- 47:13Speaker 2: be like then it at least just for me, reality
- 47:17Speaker 2: just doesn't feel as like fucked off because sometimes I'd
- 47:20Speaker 2: be like damn, Like I must be garbage, Like what
- 47:23Speaker 2: the fuck, like these these fucking big publications don't. But
- 47:27Speaker 2: then I'm like, no, it must be something else. Maybe
- 47:30Speaker 2: it's because I don't know, people probably think I'm a bitch.
- 47:34Speaker 2: I don't think people probably thinking I'm a bitch, Like yeah,
- 47:38Speaker 2: because think about it, most people don't really see me
- 47:40Speaker 2: on the day to day. They see that one clip
- 47:42Speaker 2: where I said, everybody suck my dick, like, so people
- 47:45Speaker 2: are just like, every time I see this girl, she's
- 47:47Speaker 2: going off. But it's like, that's because those are the
- 47:50Speaker 2: moments that go viral. The moment that went viral was
- 47:53Speaker 2: me saying that, which, by the way, I forgot I
- 47:54Speaker 2: said that till the next morning when my girl was
- 47:56Speaker 2: watching the damn video the way she was watching it,
- 47:59Speaker 2: and I like, wake up and I just hear me,
- 48:01Speaker 2: and I was.
- 48:01Speaker 1: Like I said that. I was like, whight I say that?
- 48:04Speaker 2: And then I watched the clip and I was like, Okay,
- 48:06Speaker 2: I ate that, yeah because it was true. Yeah, because
- 48:08Speaker 2: there was a lot of I know the demographic of
- 48:10Speaker 2: of the people that were there, and I know the
- 48:14Speaker 2: demographic of the people that were backstage, and I know
- 48:16Speaker 2: the demographic of the people that voted for Trump. So
- 48:17Speaker 2: I knew that that's what it was, but I don't know,
- 48:21Speaker 2: let's just not pussy foot.
- 48:22Speaker 1: Around it, would you?
- 48:23Speaker 2: I mean, for example, hanging out with you know, Mario
- 48:25Speaker 2: Lopez or something. It's like people who are very friends
- 48:27Speaker 2: with Mario obez, like you know what you're doing.
- 48:28Speaker 1: Is Mario Lopez a trumper? I don't know. I don't know.
- 48:32Speaker 1: Is he? Is he? Oh?
- 48:34Speaker 2: Is he?
- 48:35Speaker 1: I don't know? Well, I mean, like obviously, like, would
- 48:38Speaker 1: you ever have a conversation with a guy like Magic
- 48:39Speaker 1: because you guys just have a relationship. Digging was a
- 48:42Speaker 1: dope record with you him and Twister? Like mm hmm,
- 48:44Speaker 1: Like if you guys ran into each other backstage, would
- 48:46Speaker 1: you holler at him like or is? Because he's a legend?
- 48:49Speaker 1: Magic is a legend. He's obviously you know, he's empty. Magic.
- 48:52Speaker 1: He just celebrated thirty years you know, would you ever
- 48:55Speaker 1: have a combo with him?
- 48:57Speaker 2: I feel like if the conversation was live streamed and
- 49:00Speaker 2: we were able to actually just put it out there
- 49:02Speaker 2: into the world, Yeah, not an edited, chopped up ass
- 49:05Speaker 2: live stream that makes me look crazy. No, because there's
- 49:08Speaker 2: been plenty of drums borders that are like down to
- 49:10Speaker 2: do content, and I'm.
- 49:11Speaker 1: Like, I'm down to do it live live.
- 49:13Speaker 2: So yeah, so you so you don't do the whole
- 49:16Speaker 2: chopping and making shit weird or whatever, because I do
- 49:18Speaker 2: think right now it is time for us to kind
- 49:20Speaker 2: of like like talk about this stuff so hopefully it
- 49:24Speaker 2: doesn't get any worse, because I do think it's gonna
- 49:26Speaker 2: get worse. And I'm not just talking about ice An immigration.
- 49:30Speaker 1: I'm just talking about like just the country in general.
- 49:32Speaker 1: Just I feel like there's this crazy divide and then like.
- 49:36Speaker 2: And then AI and then how much bots and then
- 49:38Speaker 2: how much how the social awkwardness right now with so
- 49:40Speaker 2: many people, So it's like there's just even when you
- 49:43Speaker 2: go out in the street, like we've gone like right
- 49:45Speaker 2: after tromp One, like we've gone out on the street,
- 49:47Speaker 2: like getting the N word and getting like all this
- 49:49Speaker 2: stuff like hard r like getting talked too crazy, like.
- 49:53Speaker 1: And that's here, that's in La Bro.
- 49:55Speaker 2: That's actually in a fancy restaurant where you're just like, bro,
- 49:58Speaker 2: what the fuck is happening?
- 49:59Speaker 1: Yeah, feel like we're in this like weird space where
- 50:03Speaker 1: they're every like legitimately all these billionaire fools really just
- 50:08Speaker 1: don't want anybody to do anything but stay home and
- 50:10Speaker 1: like put on VR glasses and fucking they want to.
- 50:13Speaker 2: Sell you everything they wanted to. They want you to
- 50:15Speaker 2: order it on Amazon.
- 50:17Speaker 1: They don't ever want you to leave your fucking house. Idiocrasy.
- 50:21Speaker 1: You know, it's funny. I watched Idiocracy, like probably I
- 50:25Speaker 1: rented it back in the that's how old that movie
- 50:27Speaker 1: was when.
- 50:27Speaker 2: It was like I own it on my fucking phone,
- 50:30Speaker 2: like I pull it out and show it depends.
- 50:32Speaker 1: So it's funny because I remember watching it and then
- 50:35Speaker 1: like even the like the last Trump win my boy
- 50:39Speaker 1: was like you got to rewatch Idiocracy, and I rewatched it.
- 50:42Speaker 1: It's probably been like five or six years since I
- 50:43Speaker 1: watched it again, but even more now than ever.
- 50:46Speaker 2: Yeah, when he's just sitting in the couch and he
- 50:47Speaker 2: just has like the and he's playing the.
- 50:49Speaker 1: Game Gray Player one. That's the thing is I do
- 50:53Speaker 1: feel like like there I'm like a hell of crazy
- 50:56Speaker 1: conspiracy theories, because I do feel like every movie is
- 51:00Speaker 1: purposely put out there to try to condition people to
- 51:03Speaker 1: just like to normalize certain things, like we're talking about
- 51:05Speaker 1: earlier aliens, like I feel like Ready Player won Idiocracy
- 51:11Speaker 1: even the movie there was a movie that what was
- 51:13Speaker 1: the name of that movie with Julia Roberts that the
- 51:15Speaker 1: Obamas produced that was on Netflix last year. Yeah, where
- 51:22Speaker 1: it's essentially like the whole movie is like, if America
- 51:25Speaker 1: were to crumble, it'd be because we got rid of
- 51:28Speaker 1: like the internet went out and there was no TV,
- 51:31Speaker 1: no internet. Yeah, and we were fed a narrative and
- 51:36Speaker 1: then Americans turned against each other. Yes, but I just.
- 51:39Speaker 2: Feel likely or like the Civil War movie.
- 51:41Speaker 1: Sorry, yeah, Civil War is one of those ones.
- 51:43Speaker 2: Did you just watch it that it was fairly new, right, Yeah,
- 51:45Speaker 2: it came out like last year.
- 51:46Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 51:47Speaker 2: Like I feel like people forget that this shit can
- 51:49Speaker 2: really happen because like we're wearing regular clothes. They're like, no, way,
- 51:53Speaker 2: civil War was back when you know whatever. But it's like, no, motherfucker,
- 51:56Speaker 2: like it can happen. We're gonna be wearing Jordan's the
- 51:58Speaker 2: Civil War, like what the fuck? And also like I
- 52:02Speaker 2: forgot what the fuck I was gonna say, Oh, the pandemic.
- 52:07Speaker 2: Do you remember when we when they were like, oh,
- 52:09Speaker 2: they're gonna shut down and everybody's like yeah right, and
- 52:12Speaker 2: they were like nah, I remember being told like starting
- 52:15Speaker 2: this Friday, you can't be out until whatever whatever. I
- 52:18Speaker 2: was like, the fuck, I was like, what are you
- 52:19Speaker 2: gonna tell me not to be outside?
- 52:21Speaker 1: And then the thing, you know, I think that'shere. California
- 52:23Speaker 1: got it wrong though, because I think it cost so
- 52:25Speaker 1: many people, like small businesses and like. But that's the
- 52:28Speaker 1: thing I thought.
- 52:29Speaker 2: I went to Florida and got COVID so bad I
- 52:31Speaker 2: can't smell to this fucking day.
- 52:33Speaker 1: Oh damn this shit. I was out there with the gloves.
- 52:36Speaker 1: I was fucking pumping gas with fucking rubber gloves on
- 52:38Speaker 1: and ship I was fucking I was paranoise. That's why
- 52:41Speaker 1: you're still alive.
- 52:42Speaker 2: Maybe, Like I think, I don't think California got it wrong.
- 52:47Speaker 2: I feel like had everybody jumped to it right away,
- 52:51Speaker 2: we would have prevented a lot of death, because I
- 52:53Speaker 2: do think, even even me till this day, like I
- 52:55Speaker 2: feel like.
- 52:57Speaker 1: My heart like all kinds of shit they were doing
- 53:00Speaker 1: was they were allowing outdoor catering on movie sets, but
- 53:04Speaker 1: they weren't allowing outdoor dining at restaurants, so it was
- 53:06Speaker 1: kind of like a It was like, yo, if you're
- 53:08Speaker 1: gonna do that, you got to at least allow these
- 53:10Speaker 1: restaurants to have a chance to survive by having an outdoor,
- 53:13Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. But yeah, I think in general,
- 53:17Speaker 1: it just feels like, you know, all of the identity
- 53:21Speaker 1: issues as you if you will, are like always kind
- 53:23Speaker 1: of played against. It's a class war all the other shit,
- 53:28Speaker 1: whether it's you know, I always say, like, you know,
- 53:30Speaker 1: when you think about like some of the like deciding
- 53:35Speaker 1: things that decided the election, you know, I think about
- 53:38Speaker 1: like the trans thing, and I'm like, yo, the trans
- 53:40Speaker 1: thing literally doesn't affect most people's lives. Like it's like,
- 53:44Speaker 1: like how many people actually have experienced, like their daughter
- 53:48Speaker 1: playing against a trans athlete in a high school sport.
- 53:52Speaker 1: Like what are we talking about here? Like this shit
- 53:54Speaker 1: is like literally a non issue in terms of like
- 53:57Speaker 1: how you actually live your life. Everything.
- 53:59Speaker 2: Yay, it's like one percent less than one percent.
- 54:01Speaker 1: It's like the the the what's the word?
- 54:07Speaker 2: The fucking reading level and the comprehension level in the
- 54:10Speaker 2: United States is seventh grade. So yes, of course, if
- 54:12Speaker 2: you go boys in girls' bathroom bad, and everyone's like, yes,
- 54:17Speaker 2: boys and girls bathroom bad. But then you're telling them like, bro,
- 54:20Speaker 2: that is a one percent or you start saying certain
- 54:22Speaker 2: words that are way too like elevating.
- 54:24Speaker 1: I think that's why the left fucked up, because they
- 54:26Speaker 1: started digging in on these issues that didn't really It's like, yo,
- 54:29Speaker 1: just the shit that matters is like affordability, the middle
- 54:33Speaker 1: class being able to afford homes again, yeah, and like
- 54:36Speaker 1: just and yeah, I mean that's the other thing is
- 54:39Speaker 1: like the first go round, like I was very much
- 54:41Speaker 1: like if you voted for Trump, like I stopped talking
- 54:44Speaker 1: to my cousin, like, oh, just hard cut off one
- 54:47Speaker 1: of my closest cousins. This go round, I was like, man,
- 54:51Speaker 1: the Biden years were kind of interesting. So if somebody
- 54:54Speaker 1: if you wore a red hat, I'm obviously to me
- 54:57Speaker 1: that's different because you're a fucking cult member. But if
- 54:58Speaker 1: someone told me, yeah, think I'm gonna I vote for Trump,
- 55:00Speaker 1: I would I didn't necessarily like shut that person down immediately,
- 55:05Speaker 1: if that makes sense, because I felt like the Biden
- 55:08Speaker 1: years were very like like whatever, bro, like you know
- 55:12Speaker 1: what I'm saying, Like I'm not. But but now it's
- 55:14Speaker 1: like when you see people like like we were talking
- 55:16Speaker 1: about earlier, just like doubling down. I'm like, yo, how
- 55:19Speaker 1: do you not see this shit? Is insane. Yeah, like
- 55:22Speaker 1: what are we doing? And then you know, for me too,
- 55:24Speaker 1: like the fact that the Biden administration was like funding
- 55:27Speaker 1: the genocide in Gaza was like crazy. So it's like
- 55:30Speaker 1: if you didn't vote for fucking Trump or if you
- 55:31Speaker 1: didn't vote for First.
- 55:32Speaker 2: But that's everybody. I feel like the United States is compromised, right, Yes,
- 55:35Speaker 2: the United States is absolutely com We know that, and
- 55:38Speaker 2: I hate that every time that you talk about that.
- 55:40Speaker 2: If you talk anything about Israeli, immediately they think you're
- 55:42Speaker 2: anti semi but you're not, because there's no problem like
- 55:45Speaker 2: you're you were talking about these people were told in
- 55:48Speaker 2: the United States, whether you're a Democrat or a Republican whatever.
- 55:52Speaker 1: The government. So there's there's different things.
- 55:53Speaker 2: That you know what I'm saying, Like when I was
- 55:55Speaker 2: saying anti Maga or whatever it was, how could you
- 55:58Speaker 2: sit here and hear Project five and here Steven Miller
- 56:01Speaker 2: and here all these all these people and still be
- 56:05Speaker 2: on that side or be with the red hats and
- 56:07Speaker 2: and and all that. That's one thing Republican versus Democrat,
- 56:11Speaker 2: of course, like yeah, I can agree with you. The
- 56:12Speaker 2: fucking Democrats sit there and start talking and all these
- 56:15Speaker 2: different little like even when I went to to the
- 56:18Speaker 2: Sanders thing, like I was hearing some people talking, I
- 56:19Speaker 2: was like, that doesn't make sense.
- 56:21Speaker 1: So it is so much like yeah, like I love
- 56:23Speaker 1: Bernie Bernie, and I.
- 56:25Speaker 2: Love I love Bernie Sanders, but the people that are
- 56:28Speaker 2: supporting start digging their heels on so many different night
- 56:31Speaker 2: that it splinters off into a million movements that all
- 56:35Speaker 2: attack each other, and it just all like caves in
- 56:37Speaker 2: as opposed to on this side, they're just like fucking races,
- 56:40Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying.
- 56:41Speaker 1: And then a couple of Mexicans that also I think,
- 56:43Speaker 1: like the splintering of the right yes with each other.
- 56:48Speaker 1: I'm like, wait a minute, is Marjorie Taylor Green making sense? Right?
- 56:53Speaker 1: What the fuck Kennice Owens has got bars all of
- 56:56Speaker 1: a sudden.
- 56:57Speaker 2: Yeah, No, it's kind of crazy.
- 57:00Speaker 1: It's it's I'm you know, I'm just we'll see what
- 57:02Speaker 1: happens in the midterms.
- 57:04Speaker 2: In my in my in my mind, I feel like, good,
- 57:07Speaker 2: good thing that that's happening, and we know that there's
- 57:09Speaker 2: gonna be a what's the word, like a pendulum spendulum
- 57:12Speaker 2: swinging the other way. I just hope that by the
- 57:15Speaker 2: time it happens. We're not too far gone because the
- 57:18Speaker 2: United States is being sold for parts right now, right
- 57:21Speaker 2: we're getting by the time we get there, it's like
- 57:23Speaker 2: what do we have.
- 57:23Speaker 1: To work with? Shop right now? And they're breaking it down.
- 57:26Speaker 2: You take what's happening in Mexico right now, Like everybody's
- 57:28Speaker 2: just like, oh, well, why is in clydeas shame bo
- 57:30Speaker 2: I'm fixing all these things.
- 57:30Speaker 1: And it's like, bro, it's.
- 57:31Speaker 2: Been fucking years and years and years of Mexico being
- 57:35Speaker 2: so fucked up, and then all of a sudden you
- 57:37Speaker 2: get here and you're like, well, tap tap, it's fucking
- 57:40Speaker 2: six months and you're like, dude, yeah, I get it.
- 57:42Speaker 1: Like now it's closed. I can't even imagine what it
- 57:44Speaker 1: like to be in that position in a country like Mexico.
- 57:47Speaker 2: And it's it's been compromised all those years by United
- 57:51Speaker 2: States and Canada going in. So to me, it's like
- 57:55Speaker 2: finally Mexico and a lot of these Latin American countries
- 57:57Speaker 2: are having a backbone and they're saying, hey, we are
- 58:00Speaker 2: sovereign country. You're not gonna fuck with us. And of
- 58:02Speaker 2: course here comes the stupid shit. They start the propaganda
- 58:06Speaker 2: in Mexico.
- 58:06Speaker 1: They start saying, well, no, the shit they're doing with
- 58:08Speaker 1: Venezuela is insane. They're literally trying to act like we
- 58:10Speaker 1: get drugs from Venezuela and I'm like, hey, guys, literally
- 58:13Speaker 1: no fetanol comes from Venezuela at all. It comes from
- 58:16Speaker 1: China through Mexico to the fucking United States. Like this
- 58:19Speaker 1: is a not They're literally just trying to take the oil. Yeah,
- 58:23Speaker 1: they just fucking stole a fucking oil rig, Like we're
- 58:26Speaker 1: fucking pirates.
- 58:27Speaker 2: Yeah, we're the pirates now.
- 58:29Speaker 1: And then you got Pete Heg. SAT's fucking posting all
- 58:31Speaker 1: these videos of fucking just unnamed people getting murdered in boats.
- 58:37Speaker 1: It's fucking insane. Bro. I just know, like you said,
- 58:41Speaker 1: I hope whenever the pendulum does swing, we're not too
- 58:44Speaker 1: far gone, because if we're not, a lot of motherfuckers
- 58:47Speaker 1: are going to prison. Yeah.
- 58:49Speaker 2: I think it'll be hard, though, Like the more that.
- 58:53Speaker 1: Because some of those some of those boat strikes are
- 58:55Speaker 1: fucking illegal, like they're just murdering people with no fucking
- 59:00Speaker 1: like due process. Like it's it's wild.
- 59:03Speaker 2: The money, bro, you got to follow the money, and
- 59:06Speaker 2: there's too much money. A lot of people can be bought.
- 59:09Speaker 2: A lot of men can be bought.
- 59:12Speaker 1: All those major corporations are donating to building the new
- 59:15Speaker 1: ballroom at the White House right now because he destroyed
- 59:18Speaker 1: the East Wing at the White House, and three hundred
- 59:21Speaker 1: companies are paying for the new ballroom. And so it's
- 59:24Speaker 1: like anyone on like Apple pallenteer, it's it's it's gets
- 59:28Speaker 1: spooky times. It's definitely if every once in a while,
- 59:33Speaker 1: be like, damn, Like is the end of the world? Like,
- 59:36Speaker 1: am I going to see the end of the Am
- 59:38Speaker 1: I going to see the end of the United States Empire? Like?
- 59:40Speaker 1: Will I be alive for that? I think I might be?
- 59:42Speaker 2: Like, it's kind of and then only if you travel
- 59:45Speaker 2: do you realize do you like, other countries really got
- 59:51Speaker 2: some cool shit.
- 59:52Speaker 1: I went to Japan. Japan's ship, Yeah, so crazy. Everything's clean,
- 59:58Speaker 1: you know. Obviously you can't smoke weed, which kind of sucked.
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: You probably don't have told you can smoke weed in Thailand,
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: you know, and the Yeah, when I was working on
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: this project, I was like about to move to Mexico
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: and everything. My kid's fifteen, so he's turned sixteen at
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: this point. I gotta have that conversation with him, like, baby,
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: you know if I'm leaving, Like, what's up?
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: You coming? What we're doing like taking care of the
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: ranch while I'm gone, Baby Drew ranch. He's gonna have
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: a dad.
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: He's gonna turn it into a fucking content house.
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: Yeah, it's gonna be. It will be a content house
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: one hundred percent will be insane. No, what part of
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: Mexico would you move?
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: Wells and I have some land there. I have a
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: house in Tulom, I have you know, I have my
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: different spots to figure out where I'm gonna.
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: I love tou loom looms beautiful. There's a so. The
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: closest beach to Phoenix is a place called Porto Penasco,
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: which is in Sonora. It's a it's like a three
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: hour drive from Phoenix. It's fire, It's like it's like
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: a secret still. There's resorts on the water and ship
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: and the water is like super warm. But eventually I
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: was like me and my wife talking about buying a
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: condo there because we go every summer. But eventually it's
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: like Tulum. Though. I feel like during COVID man Tuloom
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: blew the fuck up became.
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: Yeah, I can't wait for everybody to just leave, yeah,
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: and just leave it to like everybody else.
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: Sorry, have you been in Mexico City? Yeah, I heard
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: it's like the best.
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: Yeah, Mexico City is amazing.
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: Yeah, I love it.
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: We're we're on our way over there and like a
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: few couple like a week and a half or two,
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: but yeah, I love it.
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: Man.
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: I feel like what I had, a beautiful Monterey is beautiful,
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: you know, beautiful. It's all beautiful, man. And that's I
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: think that was the biggest thing that was kind of
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: being a bummer when when the trumpy stuff was coming up,
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: is that they just kept on being like shithold countries
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: and even Mexicans. I was watching Mexican American people talking
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: bad about Mexico, and I'm like, do you not get
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: the propaganda?
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: Do you not get that?
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: Right now, Canadians, Europeans, freaking Argentina's Americans are all buying
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: up Mexico and you're sitting here buying up the propaganda
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: that Mexico sucks. Meanwhile, all these people are buying up
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: your fucking land like you should be buying it. I
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: got in trouble with Mexico for that because then I
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: had people from Mexico telling me that I'm making American
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: Americans when I'm literally saying, Mexican Americans should stop being
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: scared of buying in Mexico because everyone else is fucking
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: buying it.
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: Don't let them buy your shit.
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: When later on you're gonna fucking regret it, right, you
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: know what I'm saying.
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: And so I don't know.
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: I feel like it is difficult to be the person
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: saying this because because I'm so close into the Mexico
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: like they talk shit and then Americans.
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: I get it.
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: But at the same time, hey man, Mexican Americans should
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: be way more prouder of being from Mexico and you
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: should stop listening to your parents. I tell you it's
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: a shithole. Like invest into Mexico.
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: It's beautiful. And every I always tell this because uh
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: my dentists and TJ. I always the people will be like, yo,
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: you go to t T one and like we'll have
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: I'll go to dinner, I'll stay to night like I
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: love TJ. They got the best mad East Coast, and
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: then Portoanuevo, which is like maybe like forty five minutes south.
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: It's like the lobster. I don't know if it's a
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: lobster capital, but it's fucking cad. Hey, we gotta wrap
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: up this interview, another one presented by Hardan. Baby, you
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: already know what it is. Shout out to Hardeen for
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: presenting another episode of the bootle Like podcast. Don't forget
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: when you're in Vegas, you're getting that tax, you getting
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: that uber say, take me to Hardean, the number one
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: cannabis dispensary in the world. Premium selection of the craziest
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: gas you could ever ask for, and then they break
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: down all what all the terps mean. It's incredible. Go
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: to Hardan underscore Las Vegas. Shoot him a follow and
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: when you're in Las Vegas and make sure you shoot
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: them a visit. I was lucky enough to go to
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: Vallejo to the Pergola and hang out with the Russell
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: a few years ago. Nice, he's become a friend over
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: the years. So it was dope to see you guys,
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: because you guys are both kind of independent juggernauts. Yeah,
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: talk about your guys' linkup. Who reached out to who?
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: How did it happen? And I think, how did that happen?
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: I think I like, I was like, yo, you're killing
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: in and then he was like, yo, like you fucking
- 1:03:53Speaker 2: set a blueprint.
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: And then we were both.
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: Talking and he was talking to me about how like
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: I've been doing this and I'm kind of setting a
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: bootprint and the immigrant I mean in the sorry in
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: the industry. And then I told him, I'm like, you're
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: the reason that people are even looking this way. I
- 1:04:06Speaker 2: feel like Russ L Russell like different artists that they
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: they people are even noticing how successful you could be
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: as an independent artist. So it's really becoming a valuable
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: lane as opposed to sometimes when you're just independent, people
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: think it's synonymous with like unsuccessful.
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: Right, because you talked about like with your your being
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: able to go straight to the fans to spend money,
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: like pay what you want. Do you feel like because
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: rus L Russell rather Russ too, though Russ fuck man,
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: Russ has been preaching this independent shop forever, but you've
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: been doing it in your own way. Was was any
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: of the way that you're kind of rolling out the
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: album like inspired by what Russell kind of was doing,
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: I think even.
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: Back since the Nipsey days, right, like right, but like he.
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: Was the first one obviously, Yeah, yeah, with the one
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: hundred dollars mixtape. Yeah, I feel like I just love
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: to pay what you want like that shit's fired.
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean I have a Prince tattoo, like I
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: feel so like, you know, from Prince to Nipsey to
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: Lo Russel to Russ to me to anybody who's who's
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: out here really like trying to pave the way for
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: more people to do it and for it to be
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: more acceptable. It's just you're fighting the big machine. The
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: big machine to me, like it broke my heart. Like
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: this music shit has broke my heart multiple times, just
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: because sometimes you'll be sitting there and looking at someone
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: and be like, bro, I thought we was the homies
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: and you're like, oh, all right, so it was like
- 1:05:30Speaker 2: an industry thing or like a money thing or whatever,
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: and it's like you really see people for what it is.
- 1:05:34Speaker 2: So I think, power to your own team, power to
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: the fans, power to that connection, power to building. You know,
- 1:05:44Speaker 2: ten thousand real fans is better than a million fake.
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: If you're starting ten thousand fans that will spend money
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: with you and support you, Fuck, you're gonna be good
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: for life and that'll fucking make you feel better.
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: Bro, Like, fuck the money sometimes like I've literally gone
- 1:05:57Speaker 2: live when I'm having like I'm literally on the edge,
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: like I'm like, bro, I feel like shit. And I
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: have fans like yo, really reaching out, like really giving
- 1:06:05Speaker 2: a fuck, really being.
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: Like actually help you. It really helps you, bro.
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: So it's like the power of a thousand people even
- 1:06:15Speaker 2: just just really giving a fuck about you. Can you
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: imagine like some of us that don't really like have
- 1:06:20Speaker 2: close relationship with some of our family, like seeing people
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: throughout all these fucking years give a fuck is it
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: means more to me And it makes me not question
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: my reality so much because it's like, no, there's there's
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: these people and I see them every year and they
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: go and they and I see them at the shows
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: and they fuck with me.
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: And you probably have fans that you've been seeing on
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: the road like for like over a decade now where
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: you're just like, oh, I know, if I go to
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: this city, I'm gonna see so and so. Yeah, like
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: they're gonna be there no matter what. Yeah.
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: I have a song on this album called Mariposa for
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: an art for a fan that passed away recently and
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: her name Celia, and she was one of my first
- 1:06:56Speaker 2: fans and like when I first started. I remember I
- 1:06:58Speaker 2: had so little bit of fans that like I drove
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: like two hours to go see her. Like I was
- 1:07:02Speaker 2: at some city and I was like, I'm gonna go
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: see We're gonna go see Celia because she was the
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: only one of the only people supporting me, you know.
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: So it's like I went and I saw her, I
- 1:07:08Speaker 2: met her family and we took pictures and everything. And
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: it's like throughout all the years, I would see her
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: every year at multiple shows, and you know, she just
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: became this staple to my fan base of like Celia's here,
- 1:07:18Speaker 2: you know, like we know who she is. And so
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: now that she passed, like to me, it was very
- 1:07:22Speaker 2: difficult this year to just be like is that a sign?
- 1:07:26Speaker 2: Is that a sign of just like you know, age career,
- 1:07:30Speaker 2: like where I'm at, Like what's happening now I'm losing
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: people that I started with. Like it gets to that
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: point where it just gets.
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: A little sad, you know, a little like did you
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: Cause it's funny like that word woke, Like your your
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: fan base was like you were pushing the woke shit.
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: There's a lot of people with woke tattoos and and
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: then all of a sudden woke becomes this like weird
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: negative word that the Right rebrands. I noticed, like, are
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: you not, like, is the woke thing still something that
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: you push or because that's I feel like that's your
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: own thing, that's separate from whatever any connotations, like normal
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: people might think it means, but it was your thing.
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: I think the woke thing became very blurry even before,
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: even even before the Right branded it, like you know,
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: everything just exists, you know, like if we're talking if
- 1:08:23Speaker 2: we're talking real wokeness, if we're talking real awareness, it's
- 1:08:25Speaker 2: like everything is. You know, you pull in, you pull
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: ideas from fucking the universe, and if it's not with you,
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: it'll be with someone else, and everybody could simultaneously be
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: thinking of different things.
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: I feel like.
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: Maybe it'll have its second wind in a positive way.
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: I think it needs to. I think I think what
- 1:08:45Speaker 2: has been done. I think the Right can turn anything
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: into a negative thing. Right, isn't the like any like,
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: for example, the concept of make America great, It's like
- 1:08:56Speaker 2: it could be it could be a good thing if
- 1:08:58Speaker 2: it was handled by anyone else, But these motherfuckers turned
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: it into what does make America great again? Mean? Like
- 1:09:04Speaker 2: you know, when dudes were beating their wives and you know,
- 1:09:07Speaker 2: whatever they were doing.
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: So it's like I was just wondering because like, I'm
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: sure like you sold so much, like merged just the
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: tattoos out. Do your frians ever hit you and be like, yo,
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: what's up are we bringing? Walk back? Like not understand
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: in your way? My fans are smart, you know, they
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: see it.
- 1:09:24Speaker 2: They're like, girl, we saw what the fuck happened, and yeah,
- 1:09:27Speaker 2: of course they wanted to like push and whatever. But
- 1:09:29Speaker 2: I'm like, bro, I'm already fighting so much, like I'm
- 1:09:31Speaker 2: constantly fighting for so much, and I'm like, I don't
- 1:09:34Speaker 2: even think that I think we know who we are,
- 1:09:37Speaker 2: and like you know, I, I uh, I don't know, Bro,
- 1:09:44Speaker 2: you stumped me.
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't know what to tell you.
- 1:09:47Speaker 2: Like I feel like it sucks that most of my
- 1:09:51Speaker 2: life has been kind of having to unfortunately go against
- 1:09:55Speaker 2: the grain, But I also don't know why the grain
- 1:09:56Speaker 2: is always built against people like me.
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: I feel like we were talking a little bit earlier,
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: like you have for whatever you've been through in the
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: music industry, the fact that you've been able to no
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: matter what was going on behind the doors of a
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: major label or whatever. You were able to go and
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: touch the people and sell out venues and build this
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: fan base that supports you. So it's like most people,
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: there's people who have triple five million, ten million records
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: sold whatever it is that cannot fucking sell out a
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: fucking shoe box. So it's like, like you were saying,
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: it's like you'd rather I would You'd rather have that
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: fan base than like one record, two records? Like, yeah,
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: maybe I see so many guys who like so many
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: toys have gotten canceled recently because I saw that. Yeah,
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: So say, whose tours are not getting canceled? Know the products?
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: I'm dead? Yeah, are you taking anybody out on the
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: road with you? No? As of right now. I mean
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: I'm not gonna lie.
- 1:10:53Speaker 2: We we announced it pretty early, so it's not for sure,
- 1:10:56Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying, Like it's still December and
- 1:10:57Speaker 2: then we don't go out till March. So right now,
- 1:10:59Speaker 2: if even though the way time's been going right now,
- 1:11:02Speaker 2: right next thing you know, it's there.
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: And we're like, what the fuck is going on? This
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: year has flown by.
- 1:11:06Speaker 2: So as of right now, no, I I have a
- 1:11:10Speaker 2: really cool idea for the crash Out the grash Out sessions.
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: What I want to do.
- 1:11:15Speaker 2: I'm taking Mondays and Tuesdays off on the road so
- 1:11:18Speaker 2: that I could do my podcast on the road. I
- 1:11:20Speaker 2: want to interview cool people throughout the country, Like I
- 1:11:23Speaker 2: want to basically take the podcast on the road, make
- 1:11:25Speaker 2: content stream.
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: You know. Connection. I think that's it.
- 1:11:28Speaker 2: I think for twenty twenty six, my word is just
- 1:11:32Speaker 2: connect with as many people learn from people, like fucking
- 1:11:35Speaker 2: have a whole conversation. I have this kid that that
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: was a Trump supporter that's coming on my podcast. He's
- 1:11:40Speaker 2: down to have a conversation, and I'm like, I'm down
- 1:11:41Speaker 2: to the conversation too, because like kid, uh yeah, a
- 1:11:45Speaker 2: Mexican kid. He just he's just like yo, like I'm
- 1:11:48Speaker 2: down to talk. He's like and I was like, I'll
- 1:11:50Speaker 2: blow your face if you want, Like I don't know
- 1:11:51Speaker 2: how the conversation is going to go, but we could
- 1:11:53Speaker 2: just do it. And he was like no, He's like,
- 1:11:54Speaker 2: I'll stand on you know what I did, and I
- 1:11:57Speaker 2: want to have a conversion. I was like, period, Like
- 1:12:00Speaker 2: that's how simple it is to just kind of like
- 1:12:02Speaker 2: reach across the table and be like all right, what
- 1:12:04Speaker 2: are we doing it's important, you know, those conversations.
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: It's like you can't hate your neighbor. Yeah, you know
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: what I'm saying.
- 1:12:10Speaker 2: It's like social it comes burning down, we gotta say,
- 1:12:12Speaker 2: we gotta save each other.
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: It's gonna be everybody versus the motherfucking AI. Bro, that's
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: what the fuck's coming. Are you scared of it? Oh?
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: I mean it's the It's inevitable though. Yeah. So it's
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: like it's like being scared of like the Internet. It's like,
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: I truly believe in the next ten years, like most
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: jobs are gone. I think like we're at the beginning
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: of like a real serious great depression. You know, you
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: know how people be like jobs.
- 1:12:40Speaker 2: Jobs being gone means maybe we'll be able to be
- 1:12:42Speaker 2: more creative and we'll be able to have time. It's
- 1:12:44Speaker 2: like I don't think so, Like, I think we're gonna
- 1:12:46Speaker 2: have to do the sad No, I think we're gonna
- 1:12:49Speaker 2: have this, like the the physical labor jobs. Like I
- 1:12:52Speaker 2: think we're gonna be so desperate that they're gonna make
- 1:12:56Speaker 2: us do the really hard jobs that AI can do.
- 1:12:58Speaker 2: Because Elon Musk's robot can't even pour those drinks.
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: Well, they were saying, you saw that. Yeah, yeah, I
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: saw it. Yeah yeah, well yeah, all those well all
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: those robot demos that they've been rolling out, all the
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: companies they're being controlled by like humans like in the
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: other room. Yeah, it's bullshit, but I still have that
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: to say that. They keep saying that the jobs that
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: the new millionaires that are going to be created after
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: this AI boom will be plumbers and electricians and contractors,
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: because AI can't replace a plumber, you know what I'm saying,
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: Like they you can't fucking send some robot over your
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: house to fucking dig up a fucking pipe and fix
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: the shit, or you know what I'm saying. So that's
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: I would tell you, like anybody who either learn the
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: fuck how how you can like build the AI models
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: for different companies, like learn that shit, don't just ignore it.
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: But then if you're like I want to I don't
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: know what to do, Should I go to school to
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: be a you know, I don't know whatever the fuck?
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: Go to school and like learn how to do some
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: shit with your hands. Yeah, hvac, plumbing, electrician. I agree,
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: But I feel like.
- 1:14:01Speaker 2: That all these companies, all these private equity companies are
- 1:14:04Speaker 2: buying up all those small mom and pop of all that, though.
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: Well, they're also buying up all of the residential houses,
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: so there's no like, like it's crazy, like people our
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: age can't afford entry level homes anymore. Yeah, at the average. Yeah,
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: I think home by her age right now is like
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: fifty two. It's like back in the day we used
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: to be, Like, Man, if I could just pull together
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: like ten fifteen bands, I could throw a little fucking
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: down payment down and get fah long shit right, that
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: shit to get you a studio apartment in fucking Lancaster.
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: Maybe you could raise your family in there. You guys
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: could sleep on top of each other. Jesus Christ, that's
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: what's happening. It's fucked. It is fucked. It's like I said,
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: it's a class war. They got us fighting over all
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: this other shit while they're while they're fucking sitting at
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: the White House fucking ballroom that they're all donating to build. Yeah,
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: it's crazy. How do you feel about rap right now? Though?
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: I think it's in a good place. Yeah, I mean,
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: if you want to find the good ship. Yeah, it's
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: one of my favorite years in hip hop in a
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: long time now. Whether or not you think like rap
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: is pop again, or like you know, obviously there's this
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: conversation about hip hop and the Billboard charts. I don't
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: care about any of that. I'm just a fan.
- 1:15:14Speaker 2: So I feel like that got that got fucked u
- 1:15:16Speaker 2: because they changed the rules.
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: That's what I try to tell everybody. They changed the rules.
- 1:15:20Speaker 2: Everybody, everybody doubled down on that so bad they're hip hop.
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: I told you all that happened was a rule. That's
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: like even like people trying to be like, oh, Kendrick
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: Lamar's song fell all the way off, I'm like, no,
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: they changed the rules because it was on so long.
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: That's why I try to tell everybody. With the new rules,
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: any of the Billboard records that are currently there, like
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: I think, what's Gabra's name, Little nas X, whatever the
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: fuck that's that record will never get broken now because
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: the new rules, it's not possible for like the Old
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: Town Road to ever be taken the record because after
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: a certain amount they take it off, it's it's considered
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: a recurrent. So yeah, they changed rule. But yeah, in
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: terms of hip hop, I think this year was dope.
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: I think clips showed like everybody like you could be
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: in your fifties and like still have a cultural moment,
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: go on tour, sell out everywhere. Yeah, there was some
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: incredible hip hop this year. Fucking Freddy Gibbs to Chains,
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: Larry June had a dope album. Chance the Rapper had
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: a really good album this year. I thought it was
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: a great hip hop year, one of my favorites in
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: a long time, price since like twenty twenty. But Clips,
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: Clips is fucking Notas just dropped the DJ premiere, Like so.
- 1:16:31Speaker 2: You're more like you like that type of like more
- 1:16:33Speaker 2: oh yeah, yeah, okay.
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I'm a fucking but that's whey like but
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: ye okay, yeah, Like last night I was at this.
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: I went to Sway, so I know you were in
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: the merchant or that. It's cool to see because I'm
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: like like last night I went to Sway and King Tech.
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: They did this thing of this world famous like where
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: they for the culture, where they like give awards to
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: people who they think like are underappreciated and hip hop culture.
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: So like last night, like Crooked Eye Can Crooked and
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: like raz Cat and a large professor all got honored
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: and I was just like a fucking like a pig
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: and ship. I was like, I love this ship. Man.
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: I got to see the rizz of last night. I'm dead.
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: It was fucking awesome. But yeah, that's Doe. I'm a dusty,
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: dusty hip hop guy, you know, period.
- 1:17:15Speaker 2: I mean and that, and I think that's The splending
- 1:17:18Speaker 2: of hip hop also has has had an impact on
- 1:17:22Speaker 2: what's going on, because now there's just so many subgenres,
- 1:17:24Speaker 2: Like hip.
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: Hop is such a big thing. Yeah, like whatever Playboy
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: Cardi's doing is its own.
- 1:17:28Speaker 2: Little Yeah, it's like cool, that's y'all. And then there's this,
- 1:17:31Speaker 2: and then there's that, and I think it's.
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: And I respect, like there's some Playboy Cardi shit. I
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: love like, but you know, the kids got their own.
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: Like I went to NBA Young Boy and I went
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: to two concert tour dates because I wanted to see
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: the Young Boy shit live and uh, I was fucking
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: that ship was crazy. It was insane. Yeah, it was
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: like a whole crowd full of motherfuckers and ski masks
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: and it was Yeah, it was wild. Yeah, I mean
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: my son, but I fuck with young like, young boys
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: are good, ud Like I went to interviewed him at
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: his house when he was on house arrest, but I
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: just was like I gotta see this ship like and
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: it was. I'm like, this is It's just so cool
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: because like whatever world you're in or whatever, like pocket
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: of like hip hop you're into, Like it's so small
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: compared to like, there's so much to this culture that
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: is like you said, it's there's such subgenres that are crazy,
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: like yeah, which is.
- 1:18:25Speaker 2: A good thing, right because so many people, I think
- 1:18:27Speaker 2: now more than ever, so many people are making a
- 1:18:30Speaker 2: good living.
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: In their niche. Like there's there's there's this bro who
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: does uh, what's that that lo fi ship? You know?
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: You ever throw on a low fi YouTube video and
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: it's like a Simpsons character like Bob in their head
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: for eight hours. Yeah, there's like low fi rap now
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: it's his own thing. These guys sell out shows and
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: I'm like, I didn't even know this fucking exists. Yeah.
- 1:18:50Speaker 3: I like going to those little sub like you know what,
- 1:18:52Speaker 3: I I didn't even know this was here, something like
- 1:18:56Speaker 3: super random shows because you're like I I like to
- 1:19:00Speaker 3: just find new worlds with this, you know. So yeah,
- 1:19:03Speaker 3: but I think it's good for hip hop. Well, your
- 1:19:05Speaker 3: album is out before I crash.
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: Out m H thirty songs, thirty Well it's twenty eight and.
- 1:19:11Speaker 2: The EP right, Yeah, so I got a lot of traction,
- 1:19:15Speaker 2: and there's there's some stuff that's on there that's pretty cool,
- 1:19:18Speaker 2: and then there's some stuff that I'm excited about. I honestly,
- 1:19:20Speaker 2: I already have music for the next project. Oh, I'm
- 1:19:24Speaker 2: creating a lot to not be stressed out and crashing out.
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: So I love it, you know. And then uh, tour
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: in March, tour in March thirty. Streaming just whenever you
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: feel you have a set schedule, like no, I don't.
- 1:19:37Speaker 2: I think I'm about to start streaming right now. After
- 1:19:38Speaker 2: after this, I'm about to start. And just I'm building it,
- 1:19:41Speaker 2: you know.
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: Is the podcast like every The podcast.
- 1:19:44Speaker 2: Is Tuesdays at six live. But if I don't do
- 1:19:47Speaker 2: it live, I like pre recorded or something, then you
- 1:19:50Speaker 2: got to stop by. And then yeah, just chilling at home,
- 1:19:53Speaker 2: you gotta stop by that the house have you gone to?
- 1:19:55Speaker 2: You haven't gone to my crib?
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: No, I know, beer house. What's it's like a well,
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: I don't want see my time. Yeah, we're not far
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: from each other.
- 1:20:01Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah exactly. And then I made a rage room, so.
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: Just come bring some you at a Burbank Low Key restaurant,
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: and I was like, uh, what Lancers, I'm dead? Why
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: oh we run our way to Vegas. The shittiest little diner.
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: But I love it. I just like to sit there
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: and drink coffee. Really diner where they just keep pouring
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: it and it doesn't stop. That's fire. I just love it.
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: I'm like, yeah, top me off.
- 1:20:27Speaker 2: Those fries with the rams were mad good. Like I
- 1:20:29Speaker 2: had never been there.
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: But it's like there's Lancers Lounge, which is like a
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: part of it. It's like where like old people go
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: to drink and like go and then afterwards they probably
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: go home and beat their wives. But it's just like
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: it just reminds me of my childhood's three a trailer
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: parking in there. It's like dark, like green, like velvet
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: like just like you know, I haven't gotten ship faced
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: in there yet, but i'd like to. I'm dead. I
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: want to.
- 1:20:54Speaker 2: I want to live an old white man life for once.
- 1:20:57Speaker 2: You should invite me, we'll go.
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: I don't have it. I'm not capable of. Literally, the
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: old white man life that I could ever live is
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: just not my I live with my wife. I'm saying.
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: I know what I'm saying.
- 1:21:06Speaker 2: You said you want to go be like no, I'd
- 1:21:07Speaker 2: like to one day you're the old white.
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: Man faced and walk that like walk out of there
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: like damn, I had twelve Mikelobes. Twelve Mikelobes is crazy. Anyway,
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: appreciate you pulling up the twelve Mikelobs twelve makealobs later
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: we'll get the album. I'm sure you got. You got
