- 1:31Speaker 3: and Chef Sea Bass preparing a special turkey.
- 1:35Speaker 5: I think I'm surprised, but I think I maybe the
- 1:37Speaker 5: first person in the world to prepare a turkey like this,
- 1:39Speaker 5: which I agree.
- 1:40Speaker 3: I haven't told anybody else what it is, so don't
- 1:43Speaker 3: don't spoil the surprise.
- 1:44Speaker 5: I looked at I googled it real quick, and I
- 1:45Speaker 5: saw that no results for it being done before, which
- 1:48Speaker 5: means you guys will be the first to taste.
- 1:50Speaker 3: Ye. Yeah, prepared like this.
- 1:53Speaker 4: All right.
- 1:54Speaker 3: So that's that's on the show again. Anything you want
- 1:58Speaker 3: to be part of, call in, text in, find this,
- 2:00Speaker 3: follow us on social media. Look forwards there at the
- 2:02Speaker 3: Woodi Show. And with Thanksgiving less than two weeks away,
- 2:06Speaker 3: it's less than a week away. Next thing next week,
- 2:09Speaker 3: it's a week from tomorrow. Did that come from Thanksgiving?
- 2:12Speaker 6: Is?
- 2:14Speaker 3: Yeah? So with all the different people getting together, although
- 2:18Speaker 3: you know, Greg is looking to avoid his family over
- 2:21Speaker 3: the holidays for Thanksgiving, not for Thanksgiving, but just in general.
- 2:25Speaker 3: You get enough family that still up in the air.
- 2:27Speaker 3: What the Christmas thing? No Greggs, Yeah, Greggs Christmas, Christmas,
- 2:32Speaker 3: it's still up in the air. I'll talk to them
- 2:34Speaker 3: next week. Yeah. Yeah. He's gonna wait until he sees
- 2:36Speaker 3: them face to face, so he wants to see their
- 2:38Speaker 3: disappointment in person, to see the moment their heartbreak I
- 2:41Speaker 3: feed off their disappointment. So this is one of those
- 2:45Speaker 3: people were asked who are the most annoying people at Thanksgiving?
- 2:48Speaker 3: And so number one. U. These are in no particular order,
- 2:53Speaker 3: per se, but just the most annoying people in general. Yeah,
- 2:56Speaker 3: the types of people so like they felt sickness coming
- 2:58Speaker 3: on for days, but it just never occurred to them
- 3:01Speaker 3: to stay home because you know, you got everybody who's
- 3:03Speaker 3: going to be there, and it just wouldn't be it
- 3:06Speaker 3: wouldn't be Thanksgiving without their presence.
- 3:07Speaker 1: You know what.
- 3:08Speaker 7: Well, kids are always sick.
- 3:10Speaker 8: They're coffing in your face and running noses.
- 3:12Speaker 3: Kids are one thing I think the adults, the adults
- 3:15Speaker 3: showing up who know better? Yeah, kids are all Look,
- 3:18Speaker 3: you just got to assume you're getting sick of. Kids
- 3:19Speaker 3: are around dishes. Yeah, exactly. Uh the aggressive salter. I
- 3:24Speaker 3: would put my father in this category. Yes, yeah, And
- 3:31Speaker 3: I'm not the one preparing the dish. I'm like, dude,
- 3:33Speaker 3: don't you want especially if you go out to a
- 3:36Speaker 3: like his favorite is Texas Roadhouse. And this is not
- 3:39Speaker 3: a knock against Texas Roadhouse, but like when you go
- 3:42Speaker 3: to a place like that, you know they're known for
- 3:46Speaker 3: being you know, heavy on the salt, the sugar. When
- 3:51Speaker 3: you when you go to place like that, there's a
- 3:52Speaker 3: lot of that stuff in there, because that's what makes
- 3:54Speaker 3: the food taste. You might want to taste it to
- 3:56Speaker 3: make sure you, you know, put even more salt on there.
- 3:59Speaker 9: He's aggressively salting its own plate. That wouldn't annoy me.
- 4:03Speaker 3: I'll know why you do it. It doesn't annoy me. That's
- 4:05Speaker 3: the wrong word. It's just I don't perplexus. Yeah, Like, dude,
- 4:08Speaker 3: why don't you taste it first? Because like sometimes you
- 4:10Speaker 3: ever have that, it's already too salty.
- 4:12Speaker 7: As it is, and now you can do about it.
- 4:14Speaker 3: Yeah, anyway, because especially when you go over to someone's
- 4:16Speaker 3: place and they've prepared the meal, I could see where
- 4:18Speaker 3: that would be in salty because they've spent all this
- 4:20Speaker 3: time salting. Yeah, I get it. Yeah, it was not
- 4:25Speaker 3: healthy either.
- 4:25Speaker 5: Like I was watching Sopranos, it strikes you that he'll
- 4:29Speaker 5: get a sandwich and Tony Soprano will just be dumping
- 4:31Speaker 5: salt on a turkey sandwich.
- 4:33Speaker 3: He needs something to do with his hands, so good
- 4:35Speaker 3: the foody. It's an annoying person because just it's all
- 4:38Speaker 3: about them, their their globe trotting experiences over multiple Thanksgiving
- 4:45Speaker 3: Thanksgiving because they'll they'll one up be in no matter what. Yeah,
- 4:48Speaker 3: anybody who wears Sammy you might be one of these people.
- 4:50Speaker 3: Anyone who wears a Christmas sweater to Thanksgiving?
- 4:53Speaker 10: No, I wear Thanksgiving clothes on Thanksgiving.
- 4:55Speaker 7: She has Thanksgiving clothes, yes, I.
- 4:57Speaker 8: Do, but I will still wear Chris Smiths sweaters pre Thanksgiving,
- 5:01Speaker 8: don't get me wrong, But on Thanksgiving Thanksgiving clothes.
- 5:05Speaker 10: But Thanksgiving clothes though, well I do.
- 5:07Speaker 8: I do have a Thanksgiving sweater. I also have like
- 5:09Speaker 8: a really cute like skirt to Thanksgiving or whatever, like
- 5:12Speaker 8: more fall themed.
- 5:15Speaker 3: I did order a new button down shirt for Thanksgiving dinner. Yeah,
- 5:20Speaker 3: because I've lost too much weight, you guys. Yeah, because
- 5:24Speaker 3: I like what's the Untucket? Oh yeah, those those shirts there.
- 5:28Speaker 3: Button down shirts are really cool. I like them a lot.
- 5:30Speaker 3: They're very comfortable, they hold up well so. But the
- 5:33Speaker 3: one I had was like I try I tried it
- 5:36Speaker 3: on and it's a tent. I mean no, I mean
- 5:39Speaker 3: it's like massive. It looks ridiculous. I sized down. Did
- 5:44Speaker 3: you get or maybe I didn't? And I ordered a
- 5:47Speaker 3: dark blue one too, just just a half most annoying
- 5:52Speaker 3: people Thanksgiving uninvited guests. Sure, yeah, but does it never happened?
- 5:57Speaker 3: Who's ever just showed up to your house?
- 6:00Speaker 5: I never bet if the twenty nine years of Thanksgivings
- 6:02Speaker 5: that I've gone to, I've never once.
- 6:03Speaker 11: Heard that I have had less invites, like, oh, can
- 6:08Speaker 11: my cousin come, she's in town?
- 6:09Speaker 3: Exactly right.
- 6:10Speaker 9: I did one for New Year's Eve where the person
- 6:13Speaker 9: that I invited didn't tell me they were bringing somebody.
- 6:15Speaker 3: They brought one.
- 6:17Speaker 9: It was like one of those you know, set number
- 6:18Speaker 9: of people at the table, No random.
- 6:21Speaker 3: The couch snore, Yeah, the pushy vegan because like you know,
- 6:26Speaker 3: the food he slammed over. It would be so much
- 6:28Speaker 3: better if it were tofu guys them the kitchen lurker
- 6:31Speaker 3: made this when they were asking people like it might be.
- 6:36Speaker 10: Almost how much more time? How much more time do
- 6:38Speaker 10: you think until the fod's ready?
- 6:40Speaker 3: Talk to me there?
- 6:41Speaker 12: That's yeah, yeah, oll. There should be a coterie board
- 6:46Speaker 12: like prepare just they can't be away from the kitchen. Yes,
- 6:49Speaker 12: if that's not prepared, then I'm up in the kitchen.
- 6:52Speaker 8: But sometimes the turkey takes hours longer than you even thinking.
- 6:55Speaker 3: It's like Oh my god, that's why you have a
- 6:58Speaker 3: coterie board.
- 6:59Speaker 11: They think are helping, so they stand in the doorway
- 7:02Speaker 11: and talk to you and distract you.
- 7:04Speaker 8: Okay, Morgan, Menace to your point. And I don't know
- 7:08Speaker 8: if anyone else's family is like this. But we don't
- 7:10Speaker 8: have other meals on Thanksgiving. You're just waiting me if
- 7:15Speaker 8: you're not making breakfast.
- 7:16Speaker 7: But you don't have advertisers.
- 7:17Speaker 8: No, there will be like cheese and other stuff out,
- 7:19Speaker 8: But how long does that hold you over?
- 7:20Speaker 10: When you have no other meals?
- 7:22Speaker 3: There should be shrimps And Menace always bitches about like
- 7:24Speaker 3: because he goes to his in laws and they don't
- 7:26Speaker 3: eat till like late. Dude. When I say late, I
- 7:28Speaker 3: mean like night.
- 7:29Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 7:32Speaker 3: Yeah. And that's the thing about Thanksgiving. I want to
- 7:34Speaker 3: eat early. Yeah, you know there's like brunch between breakfast
- 7:38Speaker 3: and lunch. I want brinner. Yeah, I mean like like
- 7:42Speaker 3: like like no, like it would be lenner like lunch,
- 7:45Speaker 3: like lunch dinner that early, like a late lunch early
- 7:49Speaker 3: dinner time frame.
- 7:50Speaker 7: When you do, that's perfect.
- 7:51Speaker 3: The most annoying people for Thanksgiving get together is the
- 7:53Speaker 3: early and the late arrival people. Yeah, either too early
- 7:57Speaker 3: or too late.
- 7:57Speaker 7: Please don't come early.
- 7:59Speaker 3: These people made the US. I don't care about this.
- 8:01Speaker 3: The supermarket pie buyers, that's fine, who cares if it's
- 8:05Speaker 3: if it's fine.
- 8:05Speaker 10: No, thank you.
- 8:06Speaker 9: I would prefer store bought yea for pie absolutely.
- 8:11Speaker 3: Yeah. Like dude, if you if you bought something of
- 8:14Speaker 3: the cheesecake factory and brought it over, I wouldn't hate
- 8:16Speaker 3: on that. Sammy was hating on the uh the costco.
- 8:22Speaker 7: Yeah hater you know makes the better?
- 8:25Speaker 8: Well, yeah, you guys raved about it.
- 8:27Speaker 3: So I thought, like, oh.
- 8:27Speaker 10: Man, this is gonna be great.
- 8:28Speaker 7: And it tastes like a store bought punkin pie.
- 8:31Speaker 3: I mean that is that's not wrong. The overstayers, it
- 8:36Speaker 3: gets over guys. Yeah, read the cues.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Ye.
- 8:39Speaker 3: People making the Thanksgiving World Tour made the list, like
- 8:42Speaker 3: the you like the friends of the Family. Yeah, but
- 8:44Speaker 3: they make a big deal about what was our third
- 8:46Speaker 3: stop today? Guys? Cool, it feels so special. The belchers
- 8:51Speaker 3: and the farters made the list. And then uh, finally,
- 8:55Speaker 3: when people were asked who are the most annoying people
- 8:57Speaker 3: at Thanksgiving? Anyone who feels they need to bring up
- 8:59Speaker 3: politics unless you're like, you know, Sean Hannity's relative or
- 9:06Speaker 3: uh you know it's yeah, you're related to them and
- 9:11Speaker 3: you're at there house. I would understand that maybe it
- 9:13Speaker 3: would come up right their take.
- 9:14Speaker 9: But other than that, no, maybe put my former friend
- 9:17Speaker 9: on this list. The person who brings something such as
- 9:20Speaker 9: a bottle of wine and they take the left over
- 9:23Speaker 9: wine back. That's als oh this, it didn't matter if
- 9:27Speaker 9: it was allowed.
- 9:28Speaker 3: Yeah, I knew one person. They would intentionally show up
- 9:30Speaker 3: to wherever they were going because they would either come
- 9:32Speaker 3: to our house sometimes or if they were going to
- 9:34Speaker 3: their even their own families, they would show up with
- 9:36Speaker 3: their own tupperware to take stuff with them. Okay, it's
- 9:38Speaker 3: like I didn't tell you to bring that stuff with you.
- 9:40Speaker 11: That's so funny because I was just going to say,
- 9:42Speaker 11: at my Thanksgiving and at my friend's Thanksgiving, we always
- 9:45Speaker 11: do a b yot bring your own tupperware.
- 9:47Speaker 3: Your own Yeah, I always thinking of something else.
- 9:49Speaker 11: That's the rule, got me bring it home. But please
- 9:53Speaker 11: don't just assume unless I tell you.
- 9:55Speaker 3: Eight seven seven forty four wouldie if there's anybody you'd
- 9:58Speaker 3: like to add to the li And if you heard
- 10:00Speaker 3: one of those things, you're like, oh wait, that is me,
- 10:03Speaker 3: maybe reconsider it. O stop its like, maybe don't do that. Yeah, yeah,
- 10:07Speaker 3: send us a text over to two to nine eighty
- 10:09Speaker 3: seven more what he shows next? Hang up?
- 10:11Speaker 12: We founded everybody the best Korean barbecue in southern California.
- 10:18Speaker 12: What's up, everybody?
- 10:19Speaker 3: It's menace.
- 10:20Speaker 12: Try it for yourself and tell me I'm wrong. It's
- 10:23Speaker 12: called Mountain Sun. That's Mountain sa N. This restaurant is
- 10:27Speaker 12: the longest running Korean barbecue spot in America. Mountain sa
- 10:32Speaker 12: N Google this place highest rated Korean barbecue restaurant on Yelp.
- 10:37Speaker 3: Closes late at night.
- 10:38Speaker 12: Premium meat, drink specials and free multi level barking. Mountain
- 10:42Speaker 12: Sun Barbecue. Get info at s an Mountain dot com.
- 10:47Speaker 3: This is Nony all right, welcome back, everybody. Yeah, it
- 10:54Speaker 3: is Wednesday. It's November nineteenth. Medics. A couple today in
- 10:58Speaker 3: histories for you. Okay, this one significant. It was today,
- 11:02Speaker 3: in eighteen sixty three that President Lincoln delivered his Getty's
- 11:08Speaker 3: Burg address, Dal shall not kill right. Yeah, that's that's right.
- 11:16Speaker 3: It was today in nineteen sixty five that the Kellogg's
- 11:22Speaker 3: Kellogg's pop tarts were created. Hell yeah, great. Yeah. Their
- 11:26Speaker 3: original name was Country Squares Pretty good, and they were
- 11:31Speaker 3: created by Post, not even created by Kelloggs. Now Kellogg's.
- 11:34Speaker 12: It was the whole movie about it that didn't do
- 11:35Speaker 12: very that was sort of fictionalized.
- 11:38Speaker 3: What's that the pop tart? Yeah, yeah, yep, and I
- 11:44Speaker 3: get this because it was flammable. Pop tarts didn't originally
- 11:47Speaker 3: have frosting. Oh, the frosting didn't come around until nineteen
- 11:51Speaker 3: sixty seven when a toaster stable frosting was introduced. That
- 11:57Speaker 3: sounds good. That's big. Yeah, yeah, that that is lastic.
- 12:00Speaker 3: That is that is big. Let's say today's National Carbonated
- 12:04Speaker 3: Beverage with Caffeine Day. Yeah, Greg, Today's Botox Cosmetic Day.
- 12:09Speaker 3: It's every day, is it free? Today? It's also International
- 12:13Speaker 3: Men's Day. Cool, It's National Half a Bad Day Day,
- 12:17Speaker 3: National Camp Day, which seems like a weird time to
- 12:19Speaker 3: have camp, National Play Monopoly Day. I like the idea
- 12:24Speaker 3: of monopoly, but it's just it's it's just too damn long.
- 12:28Speaker 3: And then today's World Toilet Day, Toilet toilets and toilet
- 12:34Speaker 3: National shower Days. It is not it is not a
- 12:36Speaker 3: person who claims to poop in his own shower if
- 12:39Speaker 3: it's properly designed. Yes, yeah, all right, we got the
- 12:41Speaker 3: other birthdays and the port of birthday coming up here
- 12:43Speaker 3: in just a moment, Menace is here to tell us
- 12:45Speaker 3: what's happening in the world of entertainment. Yeah, I didn't
- 12:47Speaker 3: even know this was the thing.
- 12:48Speaker 12: But last week they had an award show called the
- 12:51Speaker 12: Governor's Awards, which is the sixteenth one that they had.
- 12:55Speaker 12: It was in Hollywood, and it's kind of like a
- 12:57Speaker 12: pre Oscar show because they actually give out Oscars this
- 13:00Speaker 12: award show, and Tom Cruise received his first Oscar. Guys,
- 13:04Speaker 12: it was his he has one one before. It was
- 13:07Speaker 12: an honorary one.
- 13:08Speaker 7: It wasn't even real one.
- 13:09Speaker 3: It's weird. It's like, well, yeah, not a real one.
- 13:11Speaker 3: But because they stay hating dog. That's when you hear
- 13:14Speaker 3: about like these big, huge, like legendary artists that had
- 13:18Speaker 3: never won a Grammy and yet someone like Katie Perry
- 13:21Speaker 3: has like seven. It seems so weird, like Tom Tom
- 13:24Speaker 3: Cruise doesn't have one Oscar. All the stuff that he's done.
- 13:27Speaker 11: Okay, action movies, whatever, they don't really get that kind
- 13:29Speaker 11: of shine. But think of like Magnolia rain Man, He's
- 13:32Speaker 11: had some serious part.
- 13:34Speaker 3: Yeah, what was the what was the one? Jerry Maguire, Yeah, sure, yeah,
- 13:40Speaker 3: top gun, but Jerry Maguire wasn't. Uh, that wasn't like
- 13:43Speaker 3: one of those thunder Yeah, what about dates of thunders?
- 13:48Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 13:48Speaker 5: He had Best Actor nineteen ninety Best Actor again nomination's
- 13:52Speaker 5: own nomination ninety seven supporting after two thousand and Best Picture.
- 13:55Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 13:56Speaker 12: So would you be happy with the honorary one? For
- 13:58Speaker 12: all the stuff done for film?
- 14:00Speaker 3: The honorary thing seemed, I mean, it doesn't count.
- 14:02Speaker 12: It's a pity participate. Would you actually hate it? Because
- 14:05Speaker 12: even though I mean, I I worship her and I
- 14:08Speaker 12: think she's a gift from Jesus, Dolly Parton that night
- 14:11Speaker 12: also received one for her charity work.
- 14:14Speaker 7: Different?
- 14:16Speaker 3: Is that different? You're like, Oh, it's me and Dolly?
- 14:18Speaker 7: Like, why you hate On?
- 14:20Speaker 12: I'm not, but I'm just saying, like I'm Tom Cruise,
- 14:23Speaker 12: I'm a like professional actor.
- 14:25Speaker 9: Well hers, I don't believe was an Oscar was some
- 14:27Speaker 9: sort of humanitarian.
- 14:28Speaker 3: Right and it was something for yeah, charity, literacy progress Oscar.
- 14:35Speaker 3: It's a different award altogether, a different name like Okay,
- 14:40Speaker 3: the shack, somebody, somebody, for fun should give Menace an
- 14:45Speaker 3: honorary doctorate in literature. Yes, I've been.
- 14:48Speaker 12: Trying to get an honorary doctorate somewhere somehow, there has
- 14:52Speaker 12: to be like some college.
- 14:54Speaker 3: And then he can go around. There's a guy so
- 14:57Speaker 3: got it. I want to call him out so bad
- 14:59Speaker 3: because a douche. There's a mutual friend of ours works
- 15:03Speaker 3: in radio, works with a guy at one of the
- 15:06Speaker 3: other stations who has an honorary doctorate, and he insists
- 15:11Speaker 3: that people address him as doctor. He does. It's in
- 15:14Speaker 3: his email signature people. He corrects people in person, I'm sorry,
- 15:20Speaker 3: that's doctor Gory and he's not. Yeah, he's not kidding.
- 15:25Speaker 3: He's absolutely serious.
- 15:27Speaker 9: Unearned, isn't that Bill Cosby situation credits on the Crossby
- 15:33Speaker 9: Show would say, doctor Bill.
- 15:36Speaker 12: Just to pull back the current a little bit, I
- 15:38Speaker 12: haven't doctor by my way into mensa. And it's not
- 15:46Speaker 12: as easy as he thought. When it comes to mensa,
- 15:48Speaker 12: I mean, you can't buy your way in. I've been
- 15:51Speaker 12: looking for I've been looking for ways. He probably can
- 15:55Speaker 12: and uh no, but they when I did do some research,
- 16:00Speaker 12: there was a lot of people talking back about the
- 16:02Speaker 12: whole psychology route of.
- 16:03Speaker 3: Getting and sure they were like big time hanging on that.
- 16:07Speaker 7: But it's the same test.
- 16:09Speaker 12: No, no, no, no, the way that they explained it,
- 16:13Speaker 12: please explain it. Yeah, well they explained that basically, they
- 16:16Speaker 12: allow you to memorize all the answers through yeah, the psychologists,
- 16:22Speaker 12: and then uh, then they admit the test.
- 16:24Speaker 7: How do you remember the answers you're being you're giving
- 16:26Speaker 7: the test in the lifetime.
- 16:28Speaker 3: I didn't hear that. Yeah, but I'll look into it.
- 16:29Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, that's the scarbage, garbage.
- 16:33Speaker 3: I just read it this week. So Sea Bass and
- 16:37Speaker 3: and Gina are both members of MENSA. They got in
- 16:40Speaker 3: in different ways. Sea Bass went down to like the
- 16:42Speaker 3: school library.
- 16:43Speaker 5: I went to the actual proctor proctor MENSA proctor tests
- 16:47Speaker 5: and I.
- 16:47Speaker 7: Took my top. I was like, you let.
- 16:49Speaker 3: Me in and then you took your menta test. Psychology,
- 16:56Speaker 3: a psychology. This is where this whole thing comes in,
- 16:59Speaker 3: bad time. Sea Bass dismisses the way that Gina got in. Yeah. Text, Well,
- 17:03Speaker 3: I'm just saying what I tricked on the record, what
- 17:05Speaker 3: I read.
- 17:06Speaker 12: What I read is a lot of people agree with
- 17:08Speaker 12: Sea Bass's side because it.
- 17:12Speaker 7: Doesn't make it. There's a lot more as a tested minister.
- 17:15Speaker 3: Well, okay, so first, since we're dating taking deep into this.
- 17:20Speaker 7: My psychologists did, but hold on, let me.
- 17:23Speaker 3: Let me ask Let me ask you this question. There's
- 17:25Speaker 3: not two different mensas, right, it's one Mensa. But there's
- 17:28Speaker 3: a large variety of entrance possibilities whatever. But like, once
- 17:32Speaker 3: you're in, you're in correct. So it's it's you're you're
- 17:34Speaker 3: a member of this the Mensa. People who went the
- 17:38Speaker 3: root of Sea.
- 17:39Speaker 12: Bass talked a lot of smaxxine. It's a back door,
- 17:42Speaker 12: is a back door way to get into Mensa.
- 17:43Speaker 3: You're either in or you're not right, and you're trying
- 17:46Speaker 3: to find a way to buy your way in and
- 17:48Speaker 3: you can't do it. Yeah, you pass research enough, and I.
- 17:54Speaker 7: Have my Mensa cards specifically to piss off people like
- 17:57Speaker 7: Sea Bass's photo. Yeah, you want to see the real
- 18:01Speaker 7: thing is that? Is that your new angle? Is your
- 18:04Speaker 7: new angle that I just drew.
- 18:06Speaker 3: Do you have one of the special Mensa pens like
- 18:07Speaker 3: they have in the fast food plates they put on
- 18:09Speaker 3: the on the higher denomination bills.
- 18:11Speaker 7: I'm gonna pull up my number for you're talking to
- 18:14Speaker 7: a room full of people who, for a decade plus
- 18:17Speaker 7: now have said because I would get the Mensa magazine
- 18:19Speaker 7: and I would be articles and.
- 18:21Speaker 5: They would say, oh, anybody can sewing up for that?
- 18:23Speaker 5: And I have my actual plaque that shows that they
- 18:27Speaker 5: don't sell those very poor. Their excuse has been for
- 18:31Speaker 5: decade plus what you one could print, anyone could print.
- 18:33Speaker 5: So anybody excuse me if I toss a little bit
- 18:35Speaker 5: about that back there.
- 18:36Speaker 7: No problem. Let me go ahead and log in for
- 18:38Speaker 7: you if that's helpful.
- 18:39Speaker 10: I don't even get you brought up about I didn't.
- 18:45Speaker 12: Yeah, but you were talking about getting a doctorate blah blah,
- 18:48Speaker 12: and I was like, oh, yeah, by the way, I've
- 18:50Speaker 12: been trying to figure out how I can buy my
- 18:51Speaker 12: way into.
- 18:52Speaker 3: How we have to reverse engineer our own conversations.
- 18:57Speaker 7: Ago arguing no, we definitely don't need.
- 18:58Speaker 12: How we got him, and I just that the like
- 19:01Speaker 12: people that took the test seabous away were just talking.
- 19:05Speaker 7: Because I didn't go to the library. I didn't have
- 19:09Speaker 7: my library card when I took my chi.
- 19:13Speaker 3: All right, you know, geez, I don't feel defensive at all.
- 19:22Speaker 7: Is the one that wants you to get club. That's
- 19:25Speaker 7: what it's about it.
- 19:30Speaker 12: I give you one more story. Kathy Hilton, she's very
- 19:34Speaker 12: Hilton's mom. She got robbed the other day because she
- 19:37Speaker 12: was at Bravocon the reality show. Uh you know, get
- 19:41Speaker 12: together in Las Vegas. And again this is just keeps
- 19:44Speaker 12: on happening a lot with people that are in the public.
- 19:47Speaker 3: Eye and the pass and stuff.
- 19:49Speaker 12: I mean, but like, how do you not post in
- 19:51Speaker 12: real time? Now here's the thing you're allowed to do
- 19:54Speaker 12: that you live in America. You can do what you want,
- 19:57Speaker 12: but you should also lock your front door if you're
- 20:00Speaker 12: and apparently that's what the police say that she left
- 20:03Speaker 12: her front door unlocked as well when she left medics.
- 20:09Speaker 3: Are we missing something? Why were you not giving us
- 20:11Speaker 3: full Bravo con coverage? What was going on there? But
- 20:13Speaker 3: I had to do and I had to deal work event.
- 20:16Speaker 3: Can't stop, can't stop, can't stop. I didn't make it.
- 20:19Speaker 3: Oh man, I know. So that was But at least, if.
- 20:24Speaker 12: You know, if you're gonna leave town, lock your front door.
- 20:27Speaker 12: Or if you're mega, mega rich and an heir to
- 20:29Speaker 12: the Hilton fortune.
- 20:31Speaker 3: Some security, by the way, ad T in certain cities, areas, whatever,
- 20:38Speaker 3: offers a service that if you are out of town
- 20:41Speaker 3: or even just for your own peace of mind at
- 20:43Speaker 3: certain times of the day, maybe overnight or whatever, they
- 20:45Speaker 3: have their own armed security who comes by and does checks.
- 20:50Speaker 3: So they'll walk around, they'll check the doors, they'll check
- 20:52Speaker 3: the windows. Uh, they'll do like a and they'll they'll
- 20:55Speaker 3: send you the confirmation like you know, like you like
- 20:57Speaker 3: a door dash kind of thing to show that they
- 20:59Speaker 3: were actually there. Uh, the whole thing. Not to mention
- 21:01Speaker 3: you have you have If you have eighty T and
- 21:03Speaker 3: you're doing that, you probably have the camerage you can
- 21:05Speaker 3: go and see, oh there's a guy walking around at checking.
- 21:08Speaker 3: But yeah, I thought that was pretty cool. I don't
- 21:09Speaker 3: even know that they offer it. That's her. It's pretty cool.
- 21:12Speaker 3: All right, Tom, for your birthdays and birthday show, we're
- 21:18Speaker 3: gonna we're gonna sit. She was like, and you know

- 26:22Speaker 7: Thinking about it, you have no idea.
- 26:24Speaker 3: Like how the Grinch stole Christmas kind of thing with
- 26:26Speaker 3: the magnet, the magnet pulling the pins out of the stockings,
- 26:29Speaker 3: over the mantle everything. I blame Seacrest. I don't blame it.
- 26:34Speaker 3: I don't blame Seacrest. You know, you know who was
- 26:36Speaker 3: in the building yesterday and all of a sudden it's
- 26:39Speaker 3: gone Delilah who. So let it be known that we
- 26:43Speaker 3: are blaming Delilah. Radio Legends official position. She does all
- 26:49Speaker 3: those love songs.
- 26:50Speaker 12: Yeah, wrote a song about there.
- 26:53Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, so the legendary Hall of Fame radio host Delilah.
- 27:01Speaker 3: And I'm putting that accusation out there. If she would
- 27:04Speaker 3: like to call in to defend herself, we would be
- 27:05Speaker 3: happy to have Delia.
- 27:08Speaker 12: I know you didn't know that was a pie, that
- 27:12Speaker 12: that was the Plain White wrote that song about her.
- 27:14Speaker 10: I still think you're joking about that, right, you know
- 27:17Speaker 10: the song right? Yeah, of course, but it's about that
- 27:19Speaker 10: specific woman.
- 27:20Speaker 3: Yeah, m I have a hard.
- 27:22Speaker 10: Time believing that. And look how what he's looking at me.
- 27:25Speaker 3: I'm not double. In fact, in fact, the guy, the
- 27:33Speaker 3: guy from Plain White teas uh, didn't even write it
- 27:36Speaker 3: about a girl named Delilah. Delilah was not even a
- 27:39Speaker 3: real person.
- 27:40Speaker 10: That's a code name. Wasn't he cheating on his girl?
- 27:42Speaker 10: And that was the girl he wanted to be with?
- 27:44Speaker 3: Oh no, take no, it was.
- 27:47Speaker 12: It was a real girl, according to I don't know,
- 27:50Speaker 12: but he came in and he talked about the story
- 27:52Speaker 12: like twenty years ago. At that she said that it
- 27:54Speaker 12: was a live girl.
- 27:56Speaker 3: I mean, the AI is going to have an argument
- 27:58Speaker 3: with you, with me or with Woody. Yeah, dude, I
- 28:02Speaker 3: remember playing his day he was in the student there's
- 28:04Speaker 3: no like like how there was the song. If you
- 28:06Speaker 3: guys ever watched The Bomba you would know this. But
- 28:08Speaker 3: Richie Valence had the song Oh Donna, Yeah Donna, Uh
- 28:12Speaker 3: Donna was actually the name of his girlfriend. But yeah,
- 28:14Speaker 3: Delilah not not the actual name of the chick. Not
- 28:16Speaker 3: a real don't check your sources on that one. Yeah,
- 28:19Speaker 3: I can give you your own interview. Yeah, yeah name
- 28:26Speaker 3: yeah yeah, yeah, go to school. I remember the day
- 28:30Speaker 3: he was there.
- 28:30Speaker 16: I don't remember.
- 28:31Speaker 12: Yeah, yeah, I remember it. And he was like, yeah,
- 28:34Speaker 12: I was really into her. He said that he never
- 28:36Speaker 12: hooked up with her, never an she wasn't into because
- 28:38Speaker 12: she was red.
- 28:39Speaker 3: They weren't they weren't together. Yeah, because this is what
- 28:42Speaker 3: they performed. You gets ready to go? Yeah, okay, yeah
- 28:45Speaker 3: all right here Plain Live studio. Yeah, and they were
- 28:51Speaker 3: they were doing this on our show. Yeah that's me.
- 28:54Speaker 3: Sounds like I'm five years old, right, yeah he there
- 28:58Speaker 3: delas like New York City a thousand miles away.
- 29:03Speaker 16: But girl, tonight you.
- 29:04Speaker 3: Look so pretty as you do about you? Okay, show,
- 29:16Speaker 3: I gotta tell you, it's it's funny. There's some really
- 29:19Speaker 3: weird you know how websites will have frequently asked questions.
- 29:25Speaker 3: We got a lot of the same ones. What's the
- 29:27Speaker 3: name of the pet insurance that Menace has for his dogs?
- 29:30Speaker 3: That would be healthy? Pause?
- 29:32Speaker 9: I think that's the number one fak, Yeah, that's it.
- 29:34Speaker 3: And then we talked to a buddy of mine one
- 29:39Speaker 3: time and he was a pretty big, heavy drinker and
- 29:43Speaker 3: he just stopped cold turkey after reading this book called
- 29:47Speaker 3: Alcohol Lied to Me by Craig Beck Craig Beck. And
- 29:51Speaker 3: you can find a lot about that online. And so
- 29:54Speaker 3: that was very helpful. It's notice it's all the helpful things, right,
- 29:57Speaker 3: that's good. What's the name of the resort that wood
- 30:00Speaker 3: he and his wife liked to go to all the
- 30:02Speaker 3: time every year in Mexico? Secrets Maroma Beach. Google it secrets,
- 30:08Speaker 3: Maroma Beach.
- 30:09Speaker 9: It's fantastic, everybody write these three things stuff.
- 30:12Speaker 3: Yeah. And then the other one that we've been getting
- 30:14Speaker 3: a lot more of ever ever since I mentioned it,
- 30:19Speaker 3: We've talked about different recommendations for purchases. I mentioned how
- 30:23Speaker 3: my son needed a new mattress. Oh yeah, and I'm like, dude,
- 30:27Speaker 3: I'm not spending a bunch of money on this kid.
- 30:29Speaker 3: And this stupid mattress. And so I went on Amazon
- 30:32Speaker 3: just to see because I was doing all the shopping
- 30:34Speaker 3: around and stuff, and I'm like, oh my god, I'm
- 30:37Speaker 3: not paying this kind of money for this kid's right,
- 30:39Speaker 3: a kid's mattress. And I found this one on Amazon.
- 30:42Speaker 3: I'm like, it's one of those beds in a box.
- 30:44Speaker 3: You know, I gotta, you know, cut it, open it.
- 30:47Speaker 3: That's so satisfying. Yeah. Anyway, so I ordered it and
- 30:51Speaker 3: it was under three hundred bucks, and of course that's Amazon.
- 30:54Speaker 3: So it's delivered for under three hundred bucks. Queen size mattress,
- 30:57Speaker 3: pillow top mattress. It's a and I fell asleep on
- 31:01Speaker 3: it because I'm like, god, I want to test it out.
- 31:04Speaker 3: And then I start like, you know, scrolling a little bit.
- 31:06Speaker 3: We fell asleep. It's a great match. They're not an advertiser,
- 31:11Speaker 3: I'm telling you. And so somebody had just texted over
- 31:14Speaker 3: asking about that, and I just answered one the other
- 31:18Speaker 3: day and so now I just posted it on our
- 31:21Speaker 3: Instagram story at the Woody Show. There's a link that
- 31:23Speaker 3: takes your right to the Amazon item. It's like an
- 31:27Speaker 3: Adamant is the name of the brand, and Adamant and
- 31:32Speaker 3: it's a queen size bed and I just saw on
- 31:35Speaker 3: Amazon because you know, tis the season for sales now,
- 31:38Speaker 3: it's one ninety eight for a queen size mattress and
- 31:44Speaker 3: it's rad it's it's legit good, it's a great breath
- 31:49Speaker 3: if you don't like it, one ninety eight delivered crazy. Yeah. Yeah,
- 31:55Speaker 3: So there you go.
- 31:56Speaker 12: This holiday season, we are going to actually see saving
- 32:00Speaker 12: when it comes to these sales.
- 32:01Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, because I see some insane sales, as you mentioned,
- 32:07Speaker 3: because I just figured the Target was always like killing it.
- 32:10Speaker 3: I did see Menace mentioned how Target sales and everything
- 32:13Speaker 3: over down. I'm like, wow, it's always packed when I'm there. Yeah,
- 32:16Speaker 3: my wife's there constantly. She lives there at least three
- 32:19Speaker 3: quarters of a paycheck there. And then I saw an
- 32:23Speaker 3: article this morning about how already you're today. I mean
- 32:26Speaker 3: they're they're not doing so hot. Ye, not so great.
- 32:28Speaker 11: Yeah, well they're pretty pricey. I mean I'll go, like
- 32:32Speaker 11: I was talking about with the Christmas compared.
- 32:33Speaker 3: To Walmart.
- 32:36Speaker 9: Christmas Target, people go to Target like they're bargain hunting.
- 32:40Speaker 9: I'm thinking, what bargains you find a Target?
- 32:42Speaker 10: Yeah, Hey, they have that little one dollar section in
- 32:44Speaker 10: the front.
- 32:47Speaker 3: Yeah, good point anyway. So, yeah, the mattress. The link
- 32:52Speaker 3: to it is on our Instagram story, and because I
- 32:56Speaker 3: saw the price, I'm like, well I should probably link
- 32:57Speaker 3: it out.
- 32:58Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 32:58Speaker 3: We don't make any money off of this. They are
- 33:00Speaker 3: not a sponsor. It's just something that I had shared
- 33:02Speaker 3: and I thought it was a really good deal and
- 33:04Speaker 3: I was surprised at like how legit this bed was,
- 33:07Speaker 3: and especially at that price. You got nothing to lose.
- 33:10Speaker 3: Damn me. Shit, did a referral link some money?
- 33:12Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 33:13Speaker 3: What is it? A referral link on Amazon?
- 33:16Speaker 12: That that means if you put out your own link,
- 33:18Speaker 12: your own special link, that you could make money off
- 33:21Speaker 12: of the off the purchase.
- 33:25Speaker 10: Influencer who cares?
- 33:27Speaker 3: Yeah, well next time. Next time, I'll let Morgan do
- 33:29Speaker 3: that and she can get some extra money for her
- 33:30Speaker 3: nose job account.
- 33:31Speaker 2: I know.
- 33:32Speaker 12: Yeah, right, you can get like five nose jobs because
- 33:35Speaker 12: people ask for it all the time.
- 33:37Speaker 3: To get it right, Yeah, yeah, yeah exactly. So if
- 33:40Speaker 3: you're looking for a man and that's that was the
- 33:41Speaker 3: Queen one. They have other sizes, yeah, of of the mattress,
- 33:45Speaker 3: but it's it's good. They have a twelve in one,
- 33:47Speaker 3: they have a fourteen inch it's it's.
- 33:48Speaker 7: Uh yeah, it's pillow top.
- 33:51Speaker 3: It's so comfortable. Yeah, and it's it's posted on our
- 33:53Speaker 3: Instagram story right now at the show. You can check
- 33:56Speaker 3: it out there. We've got some of the trending news headlines.
- 33:59Speaker 3: Do you to grab what's happening?
- 34:01Speaker 7: Well, the House.
- 34:01Speaker 11: Voted on the Epstein files and the vote went through
- 34:04Speaker 11: with only one person holding out. The loan holdout was
- 34:08Speaker 11: Louisiana Rep. Clay Higgins, who said that the bill abandons
- 34:11Speaker 11: two hundred and fifty years of criminal justice procedure. From there,
- 34:14Speaker 11: the bill moved to the Senate also passed no holdouts. Now,
- 34:18Speaker 11: it means it will be. There are no changes available.
- 34:21Speaker 11: It has to be as it currently stands, and the
- 34:23Speaker 11: bill heads next to the White House where President Trump
- 34:26Speaker 11: is expected to sign it.
- 34:28Speaker 7: But he doesn't like questions about it. Everybody heard the
- 34:31Speaker 7: quiet piggy line, right yeah?
- 34:33Speaker 3: That ye.
- 34:35Speaker 12: Also, when he was meeting with one of the princess
- 34:37Speaker 12: of Saudi Arabia, he got asked again and he didn't
- 34:39Speaker 12: like it.
- 34:40Speaker 3: He didn't like that either.
- 34:41Speaker 11: On Air Force One, Kathy Lucy, she's from Bloomberg, She's
- 34:45Speaker 11: the correspondent from Bloomberg kept asking about it on Air
- 34:48Speaker 11: Force when we was standing there and he finally looks her,
- 34:50Speaker 11: he goes quiet, quiet, Piggy, it's pretty crazy. Well, there's
- 34:56Speaker 11: been an update in the case of Anna Kaepner. She
- 34:58Speaker 11: was that eighteen year old who died on a carnival
- 35:01Speaker 11: cruise ship returning to Miami.
- 35:02Speaker 3: Oh yeah, that story got really weird. I mean it
- 35:06Speaker 3: was weird anyway when someone that young, all of a
- 35:08Speaker 3: sudden just shows up dead. But you didn't know really
- 35:10Speaker 3: any They said that, oh, this this girl was found nothing.
- 35:13Speaker 3: She was supposed to graduate high school the spring, and
- 35:16Speaker 3: she's going to go into the military. And the FBI
- 35:19Speaker 3: has been brought in to investigate it. And now you
- 35:21Speaker 3: really understand why they went right to the FBI, because
- 35:24Speaker 3: it's crazy how they found her exactly.
- 35:26Speaker 1: So.
- 35:27Speaker 11: New reports say that Anna told the family the night
- 35:29Speaker 11: before the death that she wasn't feeling well, went back
- 35:31Speaker 11: to her room, and when everyone woke up for breakfast,
- 35:33Speaker 11: no one could find her, and the family, the.
- 35:35Speaker 7: Cruise staff, they looked all over the.
- 35:37Speaker 11: Ship for her, but it was the maid who found her,
- 35:39Speaker 11: wrapped in a blanket, covered in life jackets and shoved
- 35:43Speaker 11: underneath the bed.
- 35:45Speaker 3: Get dead, Yeah, that's not what you do. You're not
- 35:48Speaker 3: feeling well, I'll, like an animal, go out into the
- 35:50Speaker 3: woods to die or you know, you.
- 35:51Speaker 7: Don't get yourself in that position.
- 35:53Speaker 3: Correct.
- 35:53Speaker 11: So the FBI is handling the case. It's being reported
- 35:56Speaker 11: that one of her step siblings on the cruise may
- 35:59Speaker 11: face criminal charge. The FBI hasn't confirmed this. They haven't
- 36:02Speaker 11: confirmed if it's a homicide, if charges will be filed.
- 36:05Speaker 7: But that's what there's Yeah.
- 36:08Speaker 3: I got yeah, I don't have any of the information
- 36:12Speaker 3: in front of me, but I could pretty well guarantee.
- 36:14Speaker 7: Yeah, I'm not a backed woman, but.
- 36:17Speaker 3: Anything but just the description alone.
- 36:20Speaker 11: So speaking of boats, remember last year that cargo ship
- 36:23Speaker 11: that rammed into a bridge in Baltimore and the bridge collapse. Okay,
- 36:27Speaker 11: So as of yesterday, the NTSB wrapped up their investigation
- 36:30Speaker 11: and says the cause of the accident was a single
- 36:34Speaker 11: loose wire. On the day of the crash, the wire
- 36:37Speaker 11: had loosened so much that it disconnected from the breaker
- 36:40Speaker 11: and that resulted a loss of propulsion in steering, and
- 36:43Speaker 11: the backup systems weren't configured correctly, so the ship was
- 36:46Speaker 11: basically just uncontrollable and because of that, no one could
- 36:49Speaker 11: steer the ship and that's when it crashed into the
- 36:51Speaker 11: key bridge. The NTSB is issuing seventeen new safety recommendations
- 36:55Speaker 11: and says that this accident obviously was definitely provided.
- 36:58Speaker 3: Issuing safety recommendations yeah, not acquirements. Yeah, I guess it's
- 37:05Speaker 3: harder because like some of these companies are international, right yeah.
- 37:09Speaker 7: Yeah, and they don't follow the same rules. Well, these
- 37:11Speaker 7: are strongly recommended.
- 37:13Speaker 12: Also, did you see the update on the bridge. They
- 37:14Speaker 12: said it's going to cost twice as much as I thought.
- 37:17Speaker 3: Of course, anybody who's ever done a home project.
- 37:20Speaker 7: Day that twice as much, twice as long, no warranty.
- 37:24Speaker 11: Well, the newest college football Playoff rankings dropped last night
- 37:27Speaker 11: and there's a shake up in the top five. Ohio State, Indiana,
- 37:30Speaker 11: and Texas A and M still lead the pack, but
- 37:32Speaker 11: Georgia and Texas Tech have both moved up to number
- 37:34Speaker 11: four number five thanks to Alabama's big loss to Oklahoma.
- 37:38Speaker 11: Old Miss and Oregon also moved up one spot to
- 37:41Speaker 11: number six and seven, and Oklahoma moved up three spots
- 37:44Speaker 11: to number eight. Notre Dame sits at nine, Alabama fell
- 37:47Speaker 11: to ten, and BYU and Utah move up to eleven
- 37:50Speaker 11: and twelve.
- 37:52Speaker 7: And finally menace. You might not like this very much.
- 37:56Speaker 7: Designer dogs like pugs, French bulldogs, English bulldog they could
- 38:00Speaker 7: be on the way out in the next decade.
- 38:02Speaker 3: I did see something about this.
- 38:03Speaker 11: Yeah, that's because of a big crackdown on breeding dogs
- 38:06Speaker 11: that have extreme physical traits that lead to health problems.
- 38:10Speaker 11: So a new tool called.
- 38:11Speaker 12: See those dogs in a in shelters anywhere. You know,
- 38:15Speaker 12: you want to fix shelters, get a bunch of French cheese.
- 38:18Speaker 3: The breeder and spend thousands of dollars. Yeah, and then
- 38:27Speaker 3: then there won't be a problem, you know. Yep. Yeah.
- 38:29Speaker 11: On the Innate Health Assessment rates dogs on ten traits
- 38:33Speaker 11: tied to poor health. So with these requirements for official breeders,
- 38:36Speaker 11: only dogs with a score of eight or above will
- 38:38Speaker 11: be allowed to breed. In five years, the score we
- 38:40Speaker 11: moved to nine, and in a decade you have to
- 38:43Speaker 11: have a perfect score of ten to be an official
- 38:46Speaker 11: breeder and breed that dog in America.
- 38:48Speaker 7: Yeap. The goal is to.
- 38:49Speaker 11: Make shif future generation with pugs and bull dogs health Yeah.
- 38:52Speaker 10: Plus, who's going to listen to this anyway? Is this
- 38:54Speaker 10: will breed them?
- 38:55Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 38:56Speaker 7: You're exactly, but you're not going to be able to
- 38:58Speaker 7: get the certified. You know what, will.
- 39:02Speaker 10: This make them even more popular because it goes to the.
- 39:05Speaker 3: I mean, the kids don't want the Stanleys that are
- 39:07Speaker 3: not standing. Want do you want that Target brand? Stanley,
- 39:12Speaker 3: Target brand, trenchy. I don't care about.
- 39:15Speaker 7: I'm not a fan.
- 39:16Speaker 12: I go to different about pugs. They're so and I
- 39:20Speaker 12: think we talked about this, Greg. They're so cute when
- 39:22Speaker 12: they're small, but they get pretty ugly as they get older.
- 39:27Speaker 3: I love all dogs, right, like like as like as
- 39:33Speaker 3: as a person, not but like as a as a being,
- 39:36Speaker 3: you know.
- 39:38Speaker 17: You know, like, but like, god, damn, this thing is ugly, Harry,
- 39:41Speaker 17: little potatoes something could be a really nice person and
- 39:44Speaker 17: you can like them, but man, like, I mean, you know,
- 39:46Speaker 17: I see it every day in the mirror, like this
- 39:48Speaker 17: is an ugly and a thing.
- 39:51Speaker 3: There was I'd be very yeah, like creature, Yeah right,
- 39:58Speaker 3: but yeah they are ugly. Yeah.
- 40:02Speaker 7: Well that's what's going on with.
- 40:04Speaker 3: Five six two. When what he first mentioned that mattress
- 40:07Speaker 3: that he bought for his son is around the time
- 40:08Speaker 3: of my wife and I were moving houses. You posted
- 40:10Speaker 3: the link and I immediately sent to my wife. We
- 40:13Speaker 3: bought the king size and we both love it. Pro
- 40:17Speaker 3: tip though we did need to order a separate box
- 40:19Speaker 3: spring for a little bit more support. Yeah, because it's
- 40:22Speaker 3: just the mattress. Yeah, okay, but my son has like
- 40:25Speaker 3: a platform, right, yeah, because there's like drawers underneath, so
- 40:29Speaker 3: you don't need you don't need the box spring to
- 40:31Speaker 3: put the mattress on top because it's sitting on a
- 40:33Speaker 3: solid surface. But yeah, I mean, if you need to
- 40:35Speaker 3: get an extra box spring, what's if the bed is
- 40:37Speaker 3: one ninety nine whatever it is, ninety eight, how much
- 40:41Speaker 3: could a box spring be?
- 40:42Speaker 7: Yeah, you're still saving money.
- 40:43Speaker 12: Four nothing like box springs before big lots when they're
- 40:48Speaker 12: different dates like forty bucks.
- 40:50Speaker 9: Really yeah, yeah, we should take those four FAQs and
- 40:54Speaker 9: pin them twenty four to seven.
- 40:56Speaker 3: I just put them on the website somewhere somewhere frequently
- 40:58Speaker 3: asked questions. I mean, there's a reason that all these
- 41:02Speaker 3: companies and stuff do it totally because they get they
- 41:04Speaker 3: get tired of answering your question and they figured like, oh,
- 41:07Speaker 3: this will probably save somebody some time on the they
- 41:09Speaker 3: won't call on the endless hole.
- 41:11Speaker 7: Yeah, exactly.
- 41:12Speaker 3: All right, We're gonna take a quick break more Woody Shows. Next,
- 41:15Speaker 3: hang on the Woody shows right after these messages, and
- 41:22Speaker 3: there up the far higher the Woody Show. All right,
- 41:29Speaker 3: welcome back everybody. Uh so we got the phones open
- 41:34Speaker 3: eight seven seven forty four Wooding you can, says a
- 41:37Speaker 3: text over to two two nine eight seven. Who's this person?
- 41:41Speaker 3: Brooke Mollie?
- 41:42Speaker 7: Oh yeah, Brooke Molly. I think, holy, oh my god.
- 41:47Speaker 7: I can't stop watching it.
- 41:48Speaker 11: First I hated her, and then I have grown to
- 41:51Speaker 11: love her, and I feel like Morgan will like her
- 41:54Speaker 11: because she's brutally honest. And uh I this clip. I've
- 42:00Speaker 11: watched it maybe twelve times, just basically calling out shaming
- 42:05Speaker 11: lazy fatties who just love food and complain about their weight.
- 42:09Speaker 3: Okay, yeah, oh and then complain about the weight. Yeah
- 42:12Speaker 3: why Why of a sudden we are we being attacked? Yeah?
- 42:17Speaker 11: Yeah, this girl is and she goes by skinny bestie
- 42:21Speaker 11: and she is hot as anything, blonde like per quote
- 42:26Speaker 11: unquote perfect, and so she has thoughts about the rest
- 42:29Speaker 11: of us.
- 42:30Speaker 3: Oh yeah.
- 42:30Speaker 6: If you're too sensitive for this message, keep scrolling. Your
- 42:33Speaker 6: food doesn't have to taste good.
- 42:35Speaker 7: You're not five.
- 42:36Speaker 6: This isn't your birthday party. Don't need every meal to
- 42:39Speaker 6: be fun. Your taste buds don't pay your bills, so
- 42:42Speaker 6: stop letting your cravings walk you like a dog. We
- 42:45Speaker 6: do things we don't want to do every single day.
- 42:47Speaker 6: If we only did what we wanted to do, we'dn't
- 42:50Speaker 6: be jobless, broke, and probably texting our ex like that
- 42:53Speaker 6: ever ended well. If you want to stay average and
- 42:56Speaker 6: keep eating taco bell and blaming your thyroid. If you
- 42:59Speaker 6: want to be hot, stop acting confused. You know exactly
- 43:02Speaker 6: what to do. It's not rocket science. You taste food
- 43:06Speaker 6: for what five seconds. Letting five seconds of food dictate
- 43:09Speaker 6: your life, you're giving up your dream body for something
- 43:13Speaker 6: that makes you feel bad and look bad. If it
- 43:15Speaker 6: doesn't make you hotter, don't put it in your mouth.
- 43:18Speaker 6: Grown adults eat.
- 43:19Speaker 10: For their goals. Five year olds to eat for fun.
- 43:22Speaker 10: Pleasure is cheap.
- 43:23Speaker 6: Confidence isn't choose the one that lasts for longer than
- 43:26Speaker 6: five seconds. Food isn't the reward you are. Remember that
- 43:31Speaker 6: next time you pick up your fork.
- 43:33Speaker 7: It gave you a lot.
- 43:35Speaker 10: I love her so much. I knew you'd love hate
- 43:39Speaker 10: her voice.
- 43:39Speaker 12: I wish it, yeah, I wish it was a gay
- 43:41Speaker 12: guy doing it, because it would have been.
- 43:43Speaker 10: Yeah, but man, everything she said was point on. She's
- 43:46Speaker 10: not wrong. Don't give yourself treats. You're not a dog.
- 43:49Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 43:49Speaker 7: At first I was just like, oh, this bitch, and
- 43:51Speaker 7: I'm like will.
- 43:52Speaker 3: But there is a look, there is a balance, right,
- 43:56Speaker 3: I mean these people and I feel like so bad
- 44:00Speaker 3: ad for Tony Horton. I use him as an example.
- 44:03Speaker 3: That man sat here in the studio. Yeah, I know exactly,
- 44:06Speaker 3: and he told us that once in the past twelve months,
- 44:11Speaker 3: he treated himself on his birthday, on his birthday to
- 44:15Speaker 3: salmon pie.
- 44:18Speaker 10: Look how great he look?
- 44:20Speaker 3: Okay, But at the same at the same time, it
- 44:23Speaker 3: works for him obviously, and that's what he is and
- 44:25Speaker 3: who he is and what he does and like so
- 44:27Speaker 3: that's the whole thing. But just in general, like to me,
- 44:31Speaker 3: I understand, health is wealth. I get that. But the
- 44:36Speaker 3: same time, man like live a little like, yeah, not
- 44:39Speaker 3: the way that you know, maybe it's five you know,
- 44:42Speaker 3: medicine I or whoever, Like a lot of people in
- 44:44Speaker 3: this room have lived. Greg putting you know, peanut butter.
- 44:48Speaker 3: Eminem's into the ice cream that he's also covered in
- 44:51Speaker 3: magic shell and like eating icing directly out of the container,
- 44:55Speaker 3: totally like maybe maybe not that, but like something and
- 44:59Speaker 3: maybe not.
- 45:00Speaker 9: That every day but every once in a while.
- 45:03Speaker 10: And this is right, it's portion control. You can have
- 45:04Speaker 10: anything in balance.
- 45:06Speaker 3: Yeah, I feel just everything in life is balance, but
- 45:10Speaker 3: I try to strike a balance.
- 45:11Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 45:11Speaker 11: I think her point is like stop completely, you know,
- 45:15Speaker 11: letting yourself go and blaming your thigh right at this point,
- 45:19Speaker 11: if you.
- 45:19Speaker 10: Want to look or be a certain way, I mean,
- 45:21Speaker 10: you have to do the work.
- 45:22Speaker 12: So as bad as it is, because you know, I
- 45:25Speaker 12: was a huge fatty. Now that there is tri zeppatides
- 45:29Speaker 12: and semi glue tides and all this stuff, I go
- 45:32Speaker 12: and I and I see a friend that's you know, larger,
- 45:34Speaker 12: I go, what are you doing, dude? There's there's solutions now,
- 45:38Speaker 12: you know. And if working out like every single day
- 45:41Speaker 12: was a struggle and you didn't see any results, then
- 45:45Speaker 12: like jump jump on one and then again being on
- 45:49Speaker 12: one has you know opened my eyes, like oh, yeah,
- 45:52Speaker 12: it is true.
- 45:53Speaker 3: It is portion control. It is the amount of food
- 45:56Speaker 3: that you eat because this stuff doesn't allow you to eat. Yeah,
- 45:59Speaker 3: because as you are uncomfortably full.
- 46:02Speaker 7: Yeah, well it's giving you what you need.
- 46:04Speaker 3: Not yet, by the way, not that we don't want
- 46:06Speaker 3: to eat more like you do. It's so good. Well,
- 46:08Speaker 3: my friend, you just can't.
- 46:10Speaker 12: He goes this all you can eat like dumpling place
- 46:12Speaker 12: at Hakkisan Vegas. It's like on Sunday mornings, and he's
- 46:17Speaker 12: so mad at himself now because I used to be
- 46:19Speaker 12: able to beat the house, but now I don't. But
- 46:21Speaker 12: then it also again like you you really you realize
- 46:25Speaker 12: you really don't need to eat that much to survive.
- 46:29Speaker 3: That bitch needs to mind her business. My taste buds
- 46:31Speaker 3: might not pay my bills, but neither does she.
- 46:35Speaker 10: That kind of like encouragement is not going to work
- 46:37Speaker 10: for everyone.
- 46:38Speaker 3: Yeah, why do I feel attacked as I'm eating my
- 46:41Speaker 3: Starbucks cinnamon pull apart? But wow, this message just hit
- 46:47Speaker 3: me hard as I'm walking on the treadmill I turned
- 46:49Speaker 3: up the speed.
- 46:50Speaker 9: Yeah, but I think her point is not that you
- 46:53Speaker 9: can't treat yourself. Don't treat yourself all the time and
- 46:57Speaker 9: blame outside factors exactly hereditary or you know, I have
- 47:01Speaker 9: heard thyroids so many times.
- 47:03Speaker 10: That can be true.
- 47:04Speaker 11: People are not in your DNA, You're not all going
- 47:07Speaker 11: to be the same size, You're all sort of whatever.
- 47:09Speaker 7: But you're not.
- 47:10Speaker 3: Helping, right, yeah, eight seven seven forty four Wooding, you
- 47:15Speaker 3: can send us over to text over to to nine
- 47:17Speaker 3: eighty seven.
- 47:18Speaker 9: It's also reminding me of the person at the restaurant. Well,
- 47:20Speaker 9: I don't want onions that are raw. I need them grilled,
- 47:23Speaker 9: and I need this on the side. Don't put someone
- 47:26Speaker 9: come on, are you five? Put it in your mouth?
- 47:29Speaker 10: Oh I do that all the time.
- 47:30Speaker 3: Now reminded me. Here's another text, Greg. I know apple
- 47:34Speaker 3: fritters are your favorite. Yeah, but I just had a
- 47:37Speaker 3: banana fritter and it was fantastic. They also had blueberry fritters.
- 47:42Speaker 7: What get over here?
- 47:43Speaker 3: I've heard of those in my lap blueberry, but never banana.
- 47:47Speaker 3: I'm not heard of the blueberry or the banana. To
- 47:49Speaker 3: get those the store?
- 47:52Speaker 17: Yeah, this person's texting in from.
- 47:57Speaker 3: Your text over to two two nine eight seven. Story
- 48:03Speaker 3: in news that class action lawsuit against United and Delta Airlines.
- 48:08Speaker 3: You know the passengers were saying they you know, they
- 48:10Speaker 3: paid for a window seat, or they selected a window seat,
- 48:13Speaker 3: but when they got in a seat, you know, sometimes
- 48:16Speaker 3: the rows don't match up to where the actual windows are,
- 48:19Speaker 3: and so they just had like a wall there. Well,
- 48:23Speaker 3: that that class action lawsuit has officially been filed the
- 48:26Speaker 3: Airlines lawyers. They have motion to dismiss the whole thing,
- 48:29Speaker 3: but as of right now it's it's on trial date
- 48:33Speaker 3: is set for mid twenty seven. Tell the only people
- 48:40Speaker 3: that win in lawsuits are lawyers, right, yeah, that's it,
- 48:44Speaker 3: that's it, eternity. Yeah, I want to ask you something
- 48:47Speaker 3: or ask the room. Now.
- 48:48Speaker 12: Do you keep on seeing online and they keep on
- 48:50Speaker 12: proposing these stand up seat thy Yeah, I thought that
- 48:53Speaker 12: was a joke, but no, now I keep on seeing
- 48:55Speaker 12: demos of it, and like, if it was a legit thing,
- 49:00Speaker 12: are you four against the stand up seat against?
- 49:04Speaker 7: I wouldn't do it anymore either.
- 49:07Speaker 3: So yeah, I mean I would do this stand up
- 49:09Speaker 3: at one point in my life, yes, yeah, but at
- 49:11Speaker 3: this point in my life, no, if it was the
- 49:13Speaker 3: thirty minute flight, I would do a stand up thing.
- 49:16Speaker 3: I don't care if I really had to. Yeah, it
- 49:19Speaker 3: wouldn't just be to say three dollars whatever if it's yeah,
- 49:23Speaker 3: more than a half hour, no way. The suit argues
- 49:25Speaker 3: that a window seat means that you're entitled to sit
- 49:28Speaker 3: next to a actual window, but the Airlines, of course disagree.
- 49:31Speaker 3: They say that a window seat doesn't mean a seat
- 49:34Speaker 3: with a view outside, but rather the word window just
- 49:36Speaker 3: identifies the position of the seat in the row, like
- 49:41Speaker 3: next to the main body of the plane. Well, yeah,
- 49:44Speaker 3: because there's window middle aisle right right right.
- 49:47Speaker 9: You're totally reshaping language. Call it something else then.
- 49:50Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 49:50Speaker 3: They also note that, at least in United's wording, the
- 49:53Speaker 3: window seat doesn't guarantee that the seat will have an
- 49:57Speaker 3: actual window next to it, So it's just gonna be
- 49:59Speaker 3: one of those things they change the wording of stuff.
- 50:03Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 50:03Speaker 3: Now, ladies, next time you go through airport security, know this.
- 50:08Speaker 3: They know if you're on your rag, you tell because
- 50:13Speaker 3: the scanners can see it. Of course. Yeah, you know,
- 50:17Speaker 3: like when you go through that thing you put your hands.
- 50:19Speaker 7: In, he goes, right, what is it doing?
- 50:24Speaker 3: It's it's it's extra. It knows. That's why I say so.
- 50:31Speaker 3: Like if you have they say take everything out of
- 50:32Speaker 3: your pockets. If you have anything in your pockets, it
- 50:34Speaker 3: puts this little Have you ever seen the monitor on
- 50:37Speaker 3: the other side. No, Yeah, let's just say I I left,
- 50:41Speaker 3: uh you know, I have my pocket full of medication.
- 50:44Speaker 3: Say I just had like a few advillain there. It
- 50:46Speaker 3: would detect that there's a few advilas or a few
- 50:49Speaker 3: something in there that pockets aren't empty, and it would
- 50:51Speaker 3: put this little like highlight area right above that on
- 50:54Speaker 3: my silhouette.
- 50:55Speaker 7: Oh, like a little box.
- 50:56Speaker 3: Letting the person who now has to screen me again. No,
- 50:58Speaker 3: this is where to look. This is where we detected something.
- 51:01Speaker 3: So it certainly sees a plug up there. It's in
- 51:04Speaker 3: your body. Yeah, well, here is this chick who's sharing
- 51:07Speaker 3: her story about what happened to her. So I went
- 51:09Speaker 3: through security for TSA and it starts beeping. Looks like
- 51:13Speaker 3: the grass big red.
- 51:15Speaker 7: Box right on my crush and it was not my pats.
- 51:18Speaker 18: I asked them.
- 51:19Speaker 10: I'm like, did you pick up my tampon?
- 51:20Speaker 13: Like seriously?
- 51:22Speaker 1: And they're like, oh no, no, no, it's just it
- 51:24Speaker 1: detects extra layers, Like why are you lying about it?
- 51:27Speaker 10: Like that's such a weird thing to lie about, Like
- 51:29Speaker 10: why don't you just tell me that?
- 51:31Speaker 3: Yeah, with under tampon.
- 51:32Speaker 7: They were getting all like hush hushing about it, like
- 51:35Speaker 7: I shouldn't even suggest something like that. It's like, it's life.
- 51:39Speaker 3: Who cares? I mean, it makes sense for what the
- 51:41Speaker 3: machine's doing. It makes sense like if you're cameling something
- 51:44Speaker 3: and the you know, like it's gonna show up if
- 51:46Speaker 3: the extra layers what a.
- 51:49Speaker 7: As a matter of fact, yes, yeah, crazy.
- 51:52Speaker 3: Well there you go. A got a tamp in.
- 51:55Speaker 9: Do the metal detectors detect underwire from.
- 51:59Speaker 3: The braw.
- 52:01Speaker 11: It's never I mean I've never had a detector go
- 52:03Speaker 11: off because of it.
- 52:05Speaker 7: But have you ever seen the X rays of people farting?
- 52:08Speaker 7: That's hilarious. Oh my god, there's so funny.
- 52:11Speaker 11: It's like you're in the X ray thing and it's
- 52:14Speaker 11: just like a human you know, skeleton or whatever.
- 52:16Speaker 7: But then like this little like.
- 52:17Speaker 3: Green puff comes up. That's not real, so funny.
- 52:23Speaker 7: It's like heat seeking.
- 52:25Speaker 3: An X rays, not heat from the airport. It's just
- 52:30Speaker 3: they're very funny videos online. Yeah, it's like a thermal camera.
- 52:34Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, okay, yeah, so x ray that word it.
- 52:42Speaker 8: I guess I have more questions on the tampon thing, though,
- 52:44Speaker 8: because how are they differentiating drugs that could be up
- 52:47Speaker 8: there shaped like a tampon or tampon.
- 52:50Speaker 7: It's giving you some ideas.
- 52:51Speaker 3: Question, Yeah, so you're going to get into your smuggling business?
- 52:58Speaker 3: Check it down. The text over the two ninety seven Hey,
- 53:00Speaker 3: good morning, Daily Mention of Japan. I'm currently driving to
- 53:05Speaker 3: the airport for a three week vacation to Japan. Lucky
- 53:09Speaker 3: me love suck at Woody. That's from Eric Eric. Eric's
- 53:13Speaker 3: on his web guys eight seven four what he sent
- 53:16Speaker 3: your text over to two two nine eight seven The
- 53:23Speaker 3: Woody Show. And we are getting underway with another new
- 53:28Speaker 3: hour insensitivity training for a politically correct world. Body. That's great, gory,
- 53:34Speaker 3: Hi menace, it is right, Neil, What is up Woody?
- 53:37Speaker 3: Jinny Grand Chef c Bass I can I'm getting more smell. Yeah,
- 53:43Speaker 3: I'm getting more smelling of it. He's preparing a unique
- 53:48Speaker 3: I don't think anybody in this room has ever had
- 53:51Speaker 3: a turkey prepared this way before. He says that. Yeah,
- 53:56Speaker 3: I'm the only one who knows what he's doing. Yeah,
- 53:58Speaker 3: he told me, And I told you. I'm intrigued. Really okay,
- 54:02Speaker 3: I'm intrigued. I have a guess, but I'll leave it
- 54:05Speaker 3: twice so you do, I do. I texted text it
- 54:08Speaker 3: to me. Okay, I'll tell you if you're if you're
- 54:11Speaker 3: hot or cold, all right. I don't know if he's
- 54:14Speaker 3: doing the whole because he's got that flamethrower that he bought.
- 54:18Speaker 3: I'm not sure if he's crisping it that way or
- 54:20Speaker 3: how it was prepared. So he's said in the microwave
- 54:22Speaker 3: turkey thing before. Yeah, you're incorrect, incorrect, that turn ducking
- 54:28Speaker 3: would be oh sevi no no, nope, no idea man, okay,
- 54:36Speaker 3: because it was so off track. The way he's cooking
- 54:40Speaker 3: it is right, it's it's the preparation.
- 54:44Speaker 7: So I was cooking.
- 54:46Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, okay, well it's coming up. He's he's still
- 54:51Speaker 3: working on He just handed out some plates and everything,
- 54:53Speaker 3: so he must be closed.
- 54:55Speaker 7: I just sent you one more text.
- 54:56Speaker 10: Yeah, I sent you one too.
- 54:58Speaker 3: Let's see if any of you guys are right. The
- 55:00Speaker 3: seasoned with buck shots.
- 55:02Speaker 7: Yeah, they have those buckshots that are seasoned.
- 55:05Speaker 3: What is that?
- 55:05Speaker 7: So when you shoot the animal, it's like now it's mesquite.
- 55:08Speaker 7: Oh now it's barbecue flavor boiling it. Yeah, no, I
- 55:14Speaker 7: don't think it would be good.
- 55:17Speaker 3: Oh yeah. We were talking about, you know, things that
- 55:21Speaker 3: people don't want to discuss, like bad guess, like the
- 55:26Speaker 3: people that you don't want at Thanksgiving and things that
- 55:29Speaker 3: you don't want to talk about. So this is like
- 55:32Speaker 3: the the official lists. Stay away from this stuff that
- 55:35Speaker 3: you know nobody wants to hear about. Politics money, appearance
- 55:39Speaker 3: or weight. Oh got a little big huh? Life's good. Huh. Look, religion,
- 55:46Speaker 3: don't talk about your ex mental health. Nobody cares work
- 55:51Speaker 3: or career issues. Like work is fine. People always like, hey,
- 55:54Speaker 3: how's working. That's different. But we were just discussing somebody
- 55:58Speaker 3: that we that we know who all they do is
- 56:01Speaker 3: complain about never end. That's it. I mean, like that
- 56:05Speaker 3: is the one topic and there's always a story. It's NonStop.
- 56:09Speaker 3: Personal struggles, your current relationship status, other family members, you know,
- 56:15Speaker 3: just like let's just get together and let's let's eat.
- 56:18Speaker 11: Yeah, if you want to discuss your own relationship ship status,
- 56:21Speaker 11: that's fine.
- 56:22Speaker 7: But if someone's always like so and you get married
- 56:24Speaker 7: or when you get that kind.
- 56:26Speaker 3: Of that kind of thing. If you're excited about you know,
- 56:28Speaker 3: like you're planning a wedding.
- 56:29Speaker 10: Or whatever, great, that's fun.
- 56:31Speaker 3: You can talk about that. Why don't you think you're
- 56:33Speaker 3: going to settle down? When people start getting nosy?
- 56:36Speaker 7: I guess, so are you dating anybody?
- 56:38Speaker 3: Right?
- 56:39Speaker 17: Uh?
- 56:40Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 56:40Speaker 1: Oh?
- 56:40Speaker 3: So what do you show? Food news? Thanksgiving? Desserts that
- 56:46Speaker 3: you can get at costo, no baking required, right, because
- 56:50Speaker 3: you just go so the Kirkland signature pumpkin cheesecake with
- 56:53Speaker 3: whip topping. That sounds good. So it's a pumpkin cheese cake.
- 56:57Speaker 3: It's got the Graham crack your crust and the whole
- 56:59Speaker 3: thing and a pumpkin spiced whipped topping. Yeah, that's the
- 57:03Speaker 3: one that I've been talking about. Yeah, that one looks good.
- 57:06Speaker 3: I think you're gonna pick that up. The Kirkland Signature
- 57:09Speaker 3: Chocolate Moose Dessert. It's a crumbly chocolate basedic layer of
- 57:14Speaker 3: chocolate moose chocolate ganache on the top, and its like
- 57:20Speaker 3: these little, you know, pre portioned sizes, so you know
- 57:23Speaker 3: you can give everybody.
- 57:24Speaker 9: Throw'd be fun to mix it up with something chocolate.
- 57:27Speaker 3: But it's easy to display, greg, So you know, it's
- 57:30Speaker 3: like display because it's presentation, right, because you got people
- 57:33Speaker 3: coming over. You want to look cool. You take it
- 57:35Speaker 3: out of the package and just set on to the
- 57:37Speaker 3: Kirkland signature apple pie right because they had it. Okay,
- 57:41Speaker 3: there's that. The the crem Brewlet bar cake.
- 57:44Speaker 7: I'm listening.
- 57:45Speaker 3: Yeah, So it's got layers of vanilla sponge cake custard
- 57:48Speaker 3: filling and a crunchy sugar layer on the bottom, and
- 57:52Speaker 3: then of course the pie that got stolen here the
- 57:55Speaker 3: signature pumpkin pie so good you want.
- 57:58Speaker 10: To steal it?
- 58:00Speaker 3: Well, don't forget chocolate chip cookies too, just you know
- 58:04Speaker 3: those are good. They have the big cookies. But the
- 58:07Speaker 3: one I like the I like the tub of the
- 58:09Speaker 3: little mini fresh big chocolate chip cookies that they got there. Man,
- 58:13Speaker 3: those are good in there too, Yeah, them them is good.
- 58:18Speaker 3: Now the official list of favorite pies, like overall, pumpkin
- 58:23Speaker 3: is number one, for sure, normal by the numbers things.
- 58:27Speaker 3: So you may have a different opinion, but I'm saying
- 58:30Speaker 3: this is just what the people like. Yeah, this is
- 58:32Speaker 3: just the way the world is, okay. Pumpkin pie, apple pie,
- 58:36Speaker 3: pecan pie, sweet potato pie. No, do you.
- 58:40Speaker 10: Guys actually taste the difference between pumpkin and sweet.
- 58:43Speaker 3: Yest cherry pie. Cherry pie is my favorite pie with
- 58:49Speaker 3: my husband, berry pie, key lime pie, cream pie first
- 58:54Speaker 3: of all, cream pie, peach pie, and then peanut butter pipes.
- 58:59Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, I don't know chocolate cream. I don't think
- 59:02Speaker 7: pecan pie is all that neither.
- 59:04Speaker 3: It's good, it's all right, it's all right, I'll eat it,
- 59:08Speaker 3: but it's got to be the only pie there.
- 59:10Speaker 9: Yeah, the pie that I think is it's all right
- 59:12Speaker 9: apple pie.
- 59:13Speaker 1: I'm with you.
- 59:14Speaker 11: I agree if it's warmed warm, it.
- 59:18Speaker 9: Has to be the same ratio with the ice cream
- 59:21Speaker 9: to the mode. Yeah, without it, I would probably skip it.
- 59:25Speaker 7: You're actually crazy. I'm with you.
- 59:27Speaker 8: So really, I'm concerned you're not eating the right apple pie.
- 59:30Speaker 7: That's very possible.
- 59:32Speaker 4: You know.
- 59:32Speaker 3: Morgan loves to rate things on a scale one to ten.
- 59:36Speaker 3: I'm gonna make a I'll just make a quick list
- 59:39Speaker 3: and then uh and then we'll get We'll get your take,
- 59:42Speaker 3: because I know how much you love she. She just
- 59:44Speaker 3: you know, she has to do it. It's just in her,
- 59:46Speaker 3: in her dna.
- 59:47Speaker 10: It's like my tic Yeah yeah.
- 59:50Speaker 3: Yeah, like a turkey, just you know, turkey on a
- 59:53Speaker 3: scale one to ten.
- 59:55Speaker 10: Seven out of ten, because most of the time it's
- 59:57Speaker 10: too damn dry.
- 59:57Speaker 3: I feel like a lot of people have been hating
- 59:59Speaker 3: there's two lately. I'm a lot more not hate, but
- 1:00:03Speaker 3: just I'm surprised people say to me that the turkey
- 1:00:07Speaker 3: is the worst part. I go now, I don't eat
- 1:00:11Speaker 3: the turkey by itself. I think you definitely use like
- 1:00:13Speaker 3: either a little bit of gravy or my personal is
- 1:00:16Speaker 3: I get it a nice little chunk of cranberry there,
- 1:00:18Speaker 3: Greg both. Yeah. And then the bite you put that
- 1:00:22Speaker 3: with your turkey so good. I love that a couple
- 1:00:25Speaker 3: of years ago.
- 1:00:26Speaker 7: Yeah, chicken, right, And.
- 1:00:29Speaker 3: Then the other thing. I've found more and more people
- 1:00:32Speaker 3: that say they don't like peanut butter. You know, I'm
- 1:00:34Speaker 3: just not a peanut butter family, How are you not
- 1:00:35Speaker 3: a peanut butter?
- 1:00:36Speaker 7: I don't trust.
- 1:00:37Speaker 3: That's weird, all right. So seven out of ten on
- 1:00:39Speaker 3: the turkey's accurate, all right, So we'll uh, we'll get
- 1:00:42Speaker 3: more on on her one to ten on a couple
- 1:00:46Speaker 3: of these things, and we'll check in with the with SeaBASS.
- 1:00:48Speaker 3: I just saw him walk by. I saw it through
- 1:00:50Speaker 3: the window out there. He had the big domed thing
- 1:00:55Speaker 3: the present. Yeah, usually when he's bringing in something under
- 1:00:58Speaker 3: a dome. But I think, honestly, I'm telling you guys,
- 1:01:01Speaker 3: I think I think the majority of the room will
- 1:01:04Speaker 3: dig what he's doing. And I think it's a pretty
- 1:01:07Speaker 3: interesting idea, all right, because there's these different stuffings that
- 1:01:11Speaker 3: you'll see that people are are sharing around online, and
- 1:01:15Speaker 3: you go, you know what, didn't think about that. I'm
- 1:01:18Speaker 3: not a big fan of the cornbread stuffing.
- 1:01:20Speaker 7: I'm not either my mom always makes it.
- 1:01:22Speaker 9: It's not my.
- 1:01:22Speaker 3: Favorite cornbread stuffing the only good stuffing.
- 1:01:26Speaker 10: It's good spoiler, but probably eight out of ten it's
- 1:01:29Speaker 10: the only good.
- 1:01:30Speaker 3: Yeah, the Trader Joe's box, uh is pretty good. But
- 1:01:33Speaker 3: what about just regular like stove top? You don't like
- 1:01:37Speaker 3: You're You're the only person I've met who doesn't like
- 1:01:41Speaker 3: stove top.
- 1:01:42Speaker 12: Thats why I'm a little afraid of this food segment
- 1:01:44Speaker 12: with more.
- 1:01:47Speaker 3: Yeah, no, it's I mean, okay again, this is just
- 1:01:49Speaker 3: more like she needs to do it because if we
- 1:01:51Speaker 3: don't let her do it, she'll do it in the
- 1:01:53Speaker 3: inappropriate places that just get us in trouble. Like a
- 1:01:55Speaker 3: healthy way of Yeah, this is a healthy way of
- 1:01:57Speaker 3: her getting out her one ten ratings. I have to
- 1:02:00Speaker 3: sit through some bullish I'm gonna be upset.
- 1:02:03Speaker 10: I definitely will.
- 1:02:04Speaker 3: All right, So on the turkey, fried or roasted, I've
- 1:02:08Speaker 3: only had roasted.
- 1:02:09Speaker 7: You tried fried turkey, Yeah, you got it.
- 1:02:13Speaker 3: You gotta get it right though you can. You can
- 1:02:15Speaker 3: still screw up a fried turkey the same way you
- 1:02:17Speaker 3: could screw up other than roasted.
- 1:02:18Speaker 7: You could screw up a house.
- 1:02:20Speaker 3: Yeah, that's the other thing.
- 1:02:21Speaker 10: I don't know any cooking.
- 1:02:22Speaker 3: You can get it from Popeyees. You can and it's
- 1:02:25Speaker 3: not great. I did it. I did it one year.
- 1:02:27Speaker 3: It was all right, like yeah, but like I've also
- 1:02:30Speaker 3: gotten the fried turkey from other legit places really good
- 1:02:35Speaker 3: over the top, like that one place Ken Rix. Yeah,
- 1:02:37Speaker 3: Ken Ricks is man so good? Wrong there eight seven
- 1:02:41Speaker 3: seven forty four Wooding. And then if there's something you
- 1:02:44Speaker 3: like to see on Morgan's Won the ten list, you
- 1:02:48Speaker 3: just texted over to two two nine eight seven, and
- 1:02:50Speaker 3: then we'll see what Sea Bass has. Sea Bass is
- 1:02:52Speaker 3: preparing a turkey for us, and it's in a way
- 1:02:57Speaker 3: that I've I've never seen it done before, Like this
- 1:02:59Speaker 3: turkey he is. This is unique. Wait, this is a
- 1:03:03Speaker 3: new thing. I've heard about a lot of things over
- 1:03:04Speaker 3: the years, but I think you guys are gonna like it.
- 1:03:06Speaker 3: We'll get that come up next year the WOI Show,
- 1:03:08Speaker 3: Hang on the.
- 1:03:10Speaker 14: Show, and once again chefs Bass on the job is
- 1:03:26Speaker 14: he has brought in his his domed presentation platter.
- 1:03:31Speaker 3: Somebody did somebody did mention? Uh when we posted the
- 1:03:35Speaker 3: other video, oh from the Taste drive, Like you know what,
- 1:03:41Speaker 3: I gotta give it the Sea Bass like they I
- 1:03:42Speaker 3: think the Sea Bass is a jerk, and all the
- 1:03:44Speaker 3: things that you say are true. But uh, I do
- 1:03:47Speaker 3: appreciate the fact that like he gets into the jacket and.
- 1:03:50Speaker 5: Going close what the covers, it's a close.
- 1:03:58Speaker 3: That's what that's called a dome. I don't know's I've
- 1:04:05Speaker 3: not heard that word before. You don't watch chopped, I
- 1:04:11Speaker 3: haven't heard either. But makes the extra effort, which does
- 1:04:17Speaker 3: all right. So again, I'm the only person that knew
- 1:04:21Speaker 3: what SeaBASS was going to be preparing here, which made
- 1:04:24Speaker 3: pretty much everybody else in the room kind of nervous.
- 1:04:27Speaker 3: And I said, man, you know, I'm I'm intrigued. I
- 1:04:29Speaker 3: can't wait. And now that you guys can now that
- 1:04:32Speaker 3: you guys can smell like okay, so okay, So based
- 1:04:36Speaker 3: on just what you smell different, okay, just based on
- 1:04:39Speaker 3: what you smell, what would you guess, Like, how would
- 1:04:42Speaker 3: you guess that sea beasts prepared this turkey?
- 1:04:45Speaker 10: Is there any other animal in it?
- 1:04:49Speaker 3: That's kind of an open ended question.
- 1:04:51Speaker 7: Technically yes, maybe, like I.
- 1:04:53Speaker 10: Was going to guess it smells like duck ducks.
- 1:04:58Speaker 3: No, no, it's not listening, I don't know what you
- 1:05:02Speaker 3: know what your duck is? Okay?
- 1:05:10Speaker 7: And duck inside a turkey inside of a chicken.
- 1:05:16Speaker 3: Together, But which which is inside? Which is the duck
- 1:05:18Speaker 3: inside the chicken? Is the chicken inside the duck, because
- 1:05:20Speaker 3: then the whole things inside the turch.
- 1:05:21Speaker 10: Chickens inside the duck.
- 1:05:23Speaker 3: I believe that.
- 1:05:24Speaker 11: Well, turn duck in so the chicken would be last,
- 1:05:27Speaker 11: must be a little chicken cornish game, right?
- 1:05:30Speaker 3: You see ducks looking up?
- 1:05:32Speaker 12: It's confused now at least there's seven computers in front
- 1:05:36Speaker 12: of us.
- 1:05:36Speaker 3: Yes, somebody look it up, like, turn duck in? Is it?
- 1:05:40Speaker 3: Because I thought it was all inside the turkey?
- 1:05:43Speaker 7: Noo?
- 1:05:44Speaker 3: Yeah, that's what I'm saying. So, you know, like nesting dolls.
- 1:05:47Speaker 7: Right exactly, just trying to figure out the.
- 1:05:49Speaker 3: Smallest would be what that would be the duck, right
- 1:05:52Speaker 3: or maybe not? The duck's bigger. So me, chicken inside
- 1:05:56Speaker 3: of a duck inside of a turkey, that's what? Okay,
- 1:05:58Speaker 3: du chicken?
- 1:05:59Speaker 13: Yeah?
- 1:06:00Speaker 3: Wow, we are pretty dumb, we don't, that's the question.
- 1:06:05Speaker 3: Yeah all right? So well the smell it's you know,
- 1:06:08Speaker 3: it sounds like a like a it's a familiar like meat.
- 1:06:15Speaker 3: Now go down that road a little bit. What could
- 1:06:17Speaker 3: he possibly have used in pairing in bearing the turkey meat?
- 1:06:25Speaker 3: Based what did you use like meat? Wait?
- 1:06:29Speaker 7: What ribs?
- 1:06:30Speaker 3: Turkey rib? He made a make rib turkey.
- 1:06:37Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm just show the ribs right now.
- 1:06:45Speaker 3: It's not that complicated.
- 1:06:46Speaker 5: I thought to myself, well what goes into Well first time,
- 1:06:49Speaker 5: I thought, oh, hey, McRib is back, let's have something.
- 1:06:52Speaker 3: I'll pass that around guys.
- 1:06:53Speaker 7: All okay, can I say? Can I can I confess
- 1:06:57Speaker 7: I never had one?
- 1:06:58Speaker 3: Well that's what we do here, so I do. I
- 1:07:02Speaker 3: do enjoy the mcgrib.
- 1:07:03Speaker 6: Now.
- 1:07:03Speaker 3: I don't know how fresh these are.
- 1:07:05Speaker 5: From last night, but they've been reheated. Okay, all right
- 1:07:08Speaker 5: now they're good. The McRib is good, Gina.
- 1:07:10Speaker 3: We're trying to have them once a year on the plate.
- 1:07:12Speaker 3: They all right? So anyway back to the.
- 1:07:14Speaker 5: I was thinking mcgrib, I was like, okay, and where
- 1:07:16Speaker 5: it's also turkey time. Well, what's stuffing?
- 1:07:19Speaker 7: Bread, onions, garlic, something.
- 1:07:24Speaker 3: Like a sausage or meat or exactly a sausage we've
- 1:07:27Speaker 3: heard about like the white Castle stuffing? Yes, oyster so bread.
- 1:07:32Speaker 5: Meat, Well, what's in the McRib bread, meat, onions, pickles, sauce.
- 1:07:40Speaker 5: So that's my next So that's what you're eating. You're
- 1:07:41Speaker 5: eating the grib, right, now is your as your appetizer.
- 1:07:44Speaker 5: But I thought to myself, well, what if I just
- 1:07:45Speaker 5: took mcgribs, chopped them up and threw them in a
- 1:07:48Speaker 5: turkey and stuff the turkey with mcgribs.
- 1:07:50Speaker 3: What And that's what we're doing alright. What do you
- 1:07:54Speaker 3: think your first taste of ever of a McRib?
- 1:07:57Speaker 7: Pretty good?
- 1:07:59Speaker 3: Mcruyt.
- 1:08:00Speaker 7: I would have more flavor. Its good.
- 1:08:03Speaker 3: It has the sauce on it, that's the flavor. What
- 1:08:06Speaker 3: part of it?
- 1:08:07Speaker 13: Like?
- 1:08:07Speaker 3: What are you not the rib?
- 1:08:09Speaker 7: The meat?
- 1:08:10Speaker 3: Oh?
- 1:08:11Speaker 2: Good? Good?
- 1:08:13Speaker 10: It's like a hammer.
- 1:08:16Speaker 7: Is this the original bread it comes on? Yea, Oh,
- 1:08:18Speaker 7: this bread is very fancy. No, no, no, it's like
- 1:08:23Speaker 7: a bag get.
- 1:08:24Speaker 3: It's what they used for the nice bread, very nice bread,
- 1:08:28Speaker 3: very nice bread. Loving the make rib? So far is it?
- 1:08:36Speaker 3: Or is it just resting? Do you need time to
- 1:08:39Speaker 3: carve it up? Well, we'll start with the stuffing first.
- 1:08:42Speaker 12: Okay, Now did you cook this at your house or
- 1:08:45Speaker 12: did you find out illegal oven in the building?
- 1:08:48Speaker 5: Now I knew that question would come up. Geez presentation
- 1:08:54Speaker 5: like rib on top of this?
- 1:08:56Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:08:57Speaker 9: Something which is a great idea because the pro chefs
- 1:09:00Speaker 9: say that you should always put something on the plate
- 1:09:02Speaker 9: that represents what's in it, right, says as you.
- 1:09:05Speaker 5: See as we pass this around here, well I should say,
- 1:09:08Speaker 5: why don't we just get a pass me plates.
- 1:09:10Speaker 3: And yeah, there's a burrito place by my house and
- 1:09:13Speaker 3: they'll do that with so whatever, excuse me. Whatever the
- 1:09:15Speaker 3: protein is on the inside, they have like a little
- 1:09:18Speaker 3: like a piece of it on top of the brito
- 1:09:20Speaker 3: with a little toothpick. Smart, smart menace.
- 1:09:23Speaker 5: Rais is a very good question because the number one
- 1:09:25Speaker 5: problem with turkeys is is salmon Miller's.
- 1:09:28Speaker 3: Yeah, So what I did is.
- 1:09:31Speaker 5: I went out and bought and you can buy these
- 1:09:33Speaker 5: different versions smoked or whatever. But they sell fully cooked turkeys,
- 1:09:37Speaker 5: yes they do, butterball and all that kind of stuff.
- 1:09:40Speaker 5: So if you just want to literally just reheat it,
- 1:09:42Speaker 5: you know that you you throw it in the oven
- 1:09:44Speaker 5: at whatever three fifty or whatever, wait till the interior
- 1:09:46Speaker 5: interior or internals gets I think they said between one
- 1:09:48Speaker 5: thirty and one forty is what it says on the
- 1:09:51Speaker 5: on the bag. And so that way, you know you're
- 1:09:53Speaker 5: cutting down your salmonilla content, wait, way down, because it's
- 1:09:56Speaker 5: already cooked number one not one dred percent gone.
- 1:09:58Speaker 3: But yeah never zeer ound, yeah better, but.
- 1:10:02Speaker 5: Yeah, but your chances of killing yourself are way way
- 1:10:04Speaker 5: way way lower.
- 1:10:06Speaker 3: Way less. Now, did you use your your flamethrower or
- 1:10:10Speaker 3: all the the the Boring Company and the Elon Musk Company.
- 1:10:15Speaker 3: A number of years ago they were selling these flamethrowers,
- 1:10:17Speaker 3: and SeaBASS bought one. He's got to hanging up on
- 1:10:19Speaker 3: his wall in his apartment like how some people might mouth,
- 1:10:22Speaker 3: like a deer rack or something pressing chicks. Yes, yeah,
- 1:10:27Speaker 3: so did you use.
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: That at all?
- 1:10:28Speaker 3: Chris? I've got it with me. It's in the studio
- 1:10:30Speaker 3: as we speak.
- 1:10:31Speaker 5: But it wasn't not necessary because I think the stuffing
- 1:10:33Speaker 5: is what I'm really focused on from this one. Okay,
- 1:10:36Speaker 5: I could throw it, pull it on, see if he
- 1:10:38Speaker 5: sat off the fire alarm?
- 1:10:39Speaker 3: So what else is in this stuffing?
- 1:10:40Speaker 2: Again?
- 1:10:40Speaker 3: So what I did?
- 1:10:41Speaker 5: So I did is I took the mcribs, chopped him up,
- 1:10:42Speaker 5: and then I took to make it stuffing y as
- 1:10:44Speaker 5: Greg would say.
- 1:10:45Speaker 3: No, I took a bite of it before he told
- 1:10:47Speaker 3: me what's in it? Oh okay, because you know sometimes
- 1:10:49Speaker 3: how I am mental stuff.
- 1:10:50Speaker 5: Right, So I took the stuffing stuff like a Stofer's
- 1:10:53Speaker 5: style with all the herbs and stuff threw that a
- 1:10:56Speaker 5: stick of butter and melted all that down and then
- 1:10:58Speaker 5: soaked and then drizzled that over and and tossed the
- 1:11:01Speaker 5: mcribs in.
- 1:11:02Speaker 3: The buttery stuffing is so good. This is the bread
- 1:11:07Speaker 3: from the McRib.
- 1:11:08Speaker 5: Yeah, that's that is just that's McRib also again pickles onions.
- 1:11:13Speaker 3: But you crapped on the stuff top. But what do
- 1:11:15Speaker 3: you think of this?
- 1:11:16Speaker 10: I'm loving that.
- 1:11:16Speaker 7: Oh yeah, this is crispity.
- 1:11:20Speaker 5: Yeah, I'll say that's I think that's what What puts
- 1:11:22Speaker 5: it over is the buttery stuffing.
- 1:11:25Speaker 3: It's very pickle for Wow, how do we get rib stuffing?
- 1:11:34Speaker 3: Is literally just I literally just gave it to you,
- 1:11:37Speaker 3: but we need to print it out. You don't want
- 1:11:41Speaker 3: to have to write it down and then post it online.
- 1:11:42Speaker 3: And I said, like.
- 1:11:45Speaker 5: What I was asking for, it's like for you to
- 1:11:46Speaker 5: write it down, chop up mcgribs, add butter and herbs,
- 1:11:49Speaker 5: cran and turkey.
- 1:11:50Speaker 3: Basically, you don't want to write that down. It's too hard. Yeah,
- 1:11:55Speaker 3: this is good. It tastes more like stuffing than ribs.
- 1:11:59Speaker 8: Yeah, tastes very McDonald's forward though, and I taste it.
- 1:12:02Speaker 8: But if McDonald's were to make a stuffing. This would
- 1:12:04Speaker 8: be it, and it's delicious for something.
- 1:12:07Speaker 3: Like I said, the White Castle stuffing was a big
- 1:12:09Speaker 3: deal for a while. This this might be the next thing.
- 1:12:13Speaker 3: I undertones, especially if mcribs he's and coincides with right,
- 1:12:19Speaker 3: because it usually does, because I think the ribs is
- 1:12:21Speaker 3: just typically an October thing. It's so good, well, very
- 1:12:24Speaker 3: buttery that helps a lot.
- 1:12:26Speaker 5: That's mcruly andy Again, I cut way down on all
- 1:12:29Speaker 5: these semonillars by getting everything's pre cooked. Mcgribs are pre cooked,
- 1:12:32Speaker 5: the turkey's pre cooked. All I'm doing is heating and
- 1:12:34Speaker 5: checking the temperature. Smart and another behind another one, another
- 1:12:40Speaker 5: hit on his hands. The whole thing is Delilah, we
- 1:12:42Speaker 5: believe still our pumpkin pie from Costco.
- 1:12:45Speaker 3: Yeah, unbelievable. I mean, the nerve of her. She's got
- 1:12:47Speaker 3: like a million dollars. What's her net worth grade? Do
- 1:12:49Speaker 3: you ever look it up? Of course I did. I
- 1:12:52Speaker 3: knew he had to, so you know, the the radio
- 1:12:53Speaker 3: host Delilah, she was walking around here the other day
- 1:12:57Speaker 3: retirement to her and that we had put the Costco
- 1:13:01Speaker 3: pumpkin pie that SeaBASS had bought because there was only
- 1:13:04Speaker 3: like a couple of slices that we're taking out because
- 1:13:06Speaker 3: we had already eaten so much for the taste. Drive
- 1:13:08Speaker 3: actually put it in the refrigerator to have it the
- 1:13:11Speaker 3: next morning. Next morning we're there the morning after Delilah's visit.
- 1:13:14Speaker 3: The whole damn thing is gone. Yeah. Now we put
- 1:13:18Speaker 3: stuff in there all the time, and not that people
- 1:13:21Speaker 3: like don't move something or don't do very rarely do
- 1:13:24Speaker 3: you ever have something that just completely disappears like that,
- 1:13:27Speaker 3: And so the only X factor here, yeah, and so
- 1:13:30Speaker 3: the only the only difference between the people who are
- 1:13:31Speaker 3: normally rummaging around this place and Delilah. So we're convinced
- 1:13:37Speaker 3: that Delilah stall the pumpkin pie, and we're waiting for
- 1:13:41Speaker 3: her response.
- 1:13:43Speaker 5: If you could pass that was behind me there on
- 1:13:44Speaker 5: the table there. I was just happy to be a
- 1:13:46Speaker 5: target getting butter. And I saw these.
- 1:13:48Speaker 7: Cutest little mini pumpkin pans.
- 1:13:52Speaker 9: In fact.
- 1:13:54Speaker 3: Are so cute.
- 1:14:01Speaker 7: They do look.
- 1:14:03Speaker 3: Real dark.
- 1:14:06Speaker 8: It's yeah, alright, it looks like a little keiche pumpkin pie.
- 1:14:13Speaker 3: Morgan o y a little, I thought you that looks
- 1:14:16Speaker 3: like a little quief.
- 1:14:17Speaker 9: What do you want to play a quick high low
- 1:14:18Speaker 9: game with a Delilah Networth oh this is just you.
- 1:14:21Speaker 9: So give me an opening bit. I'll tell you higher lower,
- 1:14:23Speaker 9: and it's a speed round.
- 1:14:25Speaker 14: Uh.
- 1:14:25Speaker 3: Delilah's net worth, let's put it at forty five million
- 1:14:32Speaker 3: dollars higher.
- 1:14:34Speaker 9: What I mean this is based on what you get
- 1:14:37Speaker 9: on the internet doing higher fifty five millions lower, fifty correct.
- 1:14:42Speaker 3: Doing radio love songs. It's a lot of pie for
- 1:14:45Speaker 3: thirty five years. Good for good for her. Yeah right,
- 1:14:49Speaker 3: these are very like da moist a good. Usually when
- 1:14:53Speaker 3: you buy a little crap little mini individuals, that's very boring.
- 1:14:56Speaker 3: These target cells es huh. Yeah. And they're having financial
- 1:14:59Speaker 3: issues as how, maybe they don't have to worry out
- 1:15:02Speaker 3: about them. There's stuffing rules.
- 1:15:06Speaker 10: Martin.
- 1:15:07Speaker 3: All right, So people have been texting in for Morgan
- 1:15:11Speaker 3: her one to ten her you know, she loves to
- 1:15:13Speaker 3: rate things on a scale one to ten problem her obsession. Yeah,
- 1:15:18Speaker 3: and it's all Thanksgiving themed item. So I'm gonna finish
- 1:15:21Speaker 3: this big bite of the mini pumpkin pie.
- 1:15:23Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:15:23Speaker 3: We'll come back and then, uh, and then we'll see
- 1:15:26Speaker 3: based on what people have been sending in on the
- 1:15:27Speaker 3: text SoC.
- 1:15:29Speaker 2: Sports with the gee Jeff go ye, Hey.
- 1:15:34Speaker 3: What's popping?
- 1:15:35Speaker 19: Jeff g Good morning, Wood You show. It was a
- 1:15:38Speaker 19: return of Lebron James last night and the.
- 1:15:40Speaker 3: Lakers were cooking. Listen to this.
- 1:15:42Speaker 5: Comes to lone.
- 1:15:45Speaker 20: Bye, Dodgers trying to fight Labron Lacre.
- 1:15:54Speaker 19: Yes, even Brownie got in on the action. Lakers beat
- 1:15:57Speaker 19: the Jazz one forty one twenty six. Have to say
- 1:16:00Speaker 19: not a lot of defense. Lebron had eleven points and
- 1:16:03Speaker 19: twelve assists, Luca thirty seven, Reeves twenty six, and DeAndre
- 1:16:07Speaker 19: eight and twenty points.
- 1:16:08Speaker 3: Lakers are off until Sunday.
- 1:16:10Speaker 21: Now.
- 1:16:11Speaker 19: Lebron is the first player in NBA history to play
- 1:16:14Speaker 19: in season twenty three.
- 1:16:15Speaker 3: And you know he recently sat.
- 1:16:17Speaker 19: Down on his podcast with Steve Nash and talked to
- 1:16:19Speaker 19: Steph Curry and the big question was will Lebron and
- 1:16:23Speaker 19: Steph play in the twenty twenty eight Olympics here in
- 1:16:25Speaker 19: Los Angeles?
- 1:16:26Speaker 3: You already know my answer? Oh you do? You for there?
- 1:16:30Speaker 3: I'll be watching this in comment You've been plenty of Olympics. Well, yes, man,
- 1:16:35Speaker 3: I'm done on I think he might. I'd never say never,
- 1:16:37Speaker 3: but I highly dote it.
- 1:16:38Speaker 22: Yeah.
- 1:16:38Speaker 3: At that point, Siatika might not be his only problem. Man.
- 1:16:41Speaker 19: Moving on to the NHL tonight, Bruins in Anaheim taking
- 1:16:44Speaker 19: on the First Place Ducks last night USA Soccer bet
- 1:16:47Speaker 19: Uruguay five to one. And finally this morning, what do
- 1:16:50Speaker 19: you show? The WNBA dropped the CBA proposal. That's a
- 1:16:53Speaker 19: collective Bargaining agreement proposal that would increase the maximum salary
- 1:16:57Speaker 19: from two hundred and fifty grand to more than one
- 1:17:00Speaker 19: zero point one million dollars for players.
- 1:17:02Speaker 3: That's a big increase. Hopefully that push us through. I'm
- 1:17:05Speaker 3: Jeff G and that's your so cal sport, Jeff. All right, So, uh,
- 1:17:15Speaker 3: these are some of the things that people text it
- 1:17:16Speaker 3: over to us. Morgan on a scale of one to ten,
- 1:17:21Speaker 3: and again we know how obsessed you are. Everything is like,
- 1:17:24Speaker 3: well i'd give that like a six. Well we weren't ampter,
- 1:17:26Speaker 3: but I mean she just can't help herself what she does.
- 1:17:29Speaker 3: And so this is like you have to let people
- 1:17:31Speaker 3: get it out of the system, otherwise they'll do it
- 1:17:32Speaker 3: in places and situations inappropriate, inappropriate, and uh yeah, instead
- 1:17:37Speaker 3: of we end up having the old dad headache. So
- 1:17:39Speaker 3: this is just so this is good for everyone involved,
- 1:17:42Speaker 3: right yeah, And actually I kind of blame you in
- 1:17:45Speaker 3: a lot of way for the whole like six seven.
- 1:17:48Speaker 10: You know what, we play a clip too, and I
- 1:17:51Speaker 10: didn't know at the time what I was saying.
- 1:17:53Speaker 3: Yeah, see, I think you kind of I think you
- 1:17:55Speaker 3: kind of started it. Really.
- 1:17:56Speaker 7: Oh you're the reason that kids are terrorizing everybody.
- 1:18:00Speaker 3: You were rating something a six or a seven. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:18:05Speaker 3: and I think that's kind of where it started. Yeah,
- 1:18:08Speaker 3: Thanksgiving Thanksgiving items. All right, So turkey you said, legit eight?
- 1:18:13Speaker 2: Right? Oh?
- 1:18:14Speaker 3: Seven? Seven? Okay?
- 1:18:15Speaker 10: Seven good, but it could be a ten if it's
- 1:18:18Speaker 10: cooked perfectly, but it's usually not.
- 1:18:19Speaker 3: The corn bread stuffing is what you were saying, was
- 1:18:22Speaker 3: the let me eat some turkey? Is the turkey that
- 1:18:26Speaker 3: Sea Bass prepared? How would you rate that with mcgrid stuffing?
- 1:18:29Speaker 10: It's an eight.
- 1:18:31Speaker 3: That's a little bit better than what you would give
- 1:18:33Speaker 3: regular turkey, regular drive bress. Yeah, all right, if it's
- 1:18:37Speaker 3: not turkey, a lot of people will go with ham.
- 1:18:39Speaker 3: What are you giving ham on a scale of one
- 1:18:41Speaker 3: to ten?
- 1:18:41Speaker 10: It's so drive stuck in my girl? You want some
- 1:18:45Speaker 10: ham nine out of ten? A ham over turkey?
- 1:18:48Speaker 3: Are you talking to just like the standard ham or
- 1:18:50Speaker 3: like one of them honey big joints?
- 1:18:52Speaker 10: The bonus points of its honey baked with like the
- 1:18:54Speaker 10: pineapples on.
- 1:18:54Speaker 3: The top spiral.
- 1:18:57Speaker 10: Yeah, but I like ham better than turkey.
- 1:19:00Speaker 9: Okay, you get like one one hundredth of an inch
- 1:19:02Speaker 9: of that honey stuff.
- 1:19:03Speaker 3: Yeah good. Yeah, but they sell a lot of their
- 1:19:05Speaker 3: little like sauces for the side. I forget what the
- 1:19:08Speaker 3: one I like. It's like a it's like a darker
- 1:19:10Speaker 3: almost looks like a caramel kind of thing. My mom
- 1:19:12Speaker 3: would always buy it when she would get that honey
- 1:19:13Speaker 3: bagd tan stuff, and it was really good.
- 1:19:15Speaker 7: I didn't know it came with a sauce.
- 1:19:16Speaker 3: It doesn't come with a sauce, but they when you
- 1:19:18Speaker 3: go to pick it up, they sell it looks like
- 1:19:20Speaker 3: little like almost like jelly jars, you know, of drizzle
- 1:19:24Speaker 3: on the slice. Yeah, yeah, the drizzle on there. Good?
- 1:19:27Speaker 3: All right. Mashed potatoes, oh, ten out of ten, thank you?
- 1:19:31Speaker 10: I mean they're just so good.
- 1:19:32Speaker 3: Yes, Now, gravy, I'm assuming, Yeah, gravy.
- 1:19:35Speaker 10: I'm giving it a six out of ten.
- 1:19:36Speaker 7: I like it.
- 1:19:37Speaker 10: But if it's set a Thanksgiving and I'm, you know,
- 1:19:40Speaker 10: loading up my own plate, I'm probably not even gonna
- 1:19:41Speaker 10: get it.
- 1:19:42Speaker 3: So you don't put anything on the mashed potatoes.
- 1:19:44Speaker 10: God, no, really, If I'm feeling crazy, I'll get like,
- 1:19:47Speaker 10: you know, peas in the middle.
- 1:19:49Speaker 3: I'm kind of with you on this one.
- 1:19:50Speaker 10: Yeah, I'm with you too. Go to the mashed potatoes. Good,
- 1:19:53Speaker 10: it should be eating alone.
- 1:19:54Speaker 3: I mean, I'll put the I'll put the gravy on
- 1:19:56Speaker 3: the mashed potatoes, but I won't put the gravy on
- 1:19:58Speaker 3: the turkey because I'm again I'm a cranberry turkey go
- 1:20:01Speaker 3: but the turkey needs it. Cranberry sauce. Greg and I
- 1:20:04Speaker 3: have opinions on this.
- 1:20:08Speaker 10: In the can. That's an eleven out of ten.
- 1:20:12Speaker 3: That's what Greg and I've been saying. Made cranberry is
- 1:20:15Speaker 3: just gosh home made cranberry can eat my balls.
- 1:20:20Speaker 10: Jelly one with like chunks in it.
- 1:20:22Speaker 3: Either doesn't matter as.
- 1:20:24Speaker 7: One asked to bring like homemade cranberry sauce. And I never.
- 1:20:30Speaker 3: Said ocean spray in trouble.
- 1:20:32Speaker 10: As a kid, just eating straight out of the can.
- 1:20:35Speaker 3: Okay, green bean casserole.
- 1:20:37Speaker 10: I'm giving it a six out of ten. I like it.
- 1:20:40Speaker 7: It's a bad rep but at least an eight out
- 1:20:43Speaker 7: of ten.
- 1:20:43Speaker 10: You guys like it.
- 1:20:44Speaker 3: It's very it's polarizing. Yeah, I like it, just which
- 1:20:47Speaker 3: I never really saw it as polarizing until oh my god,
- 1:20:51Speaker 3: just stuff flame floor thrower falling out of versus flame thrower.
- 1:20:57Speaker 7: You want to move.
- 1:20:59Speaker 3: So we asked the question recently, which one would you ban?
- 1:21:03Speaker 3: Asking listeners which one they would ban? Uh, and sweet
- 1:21:06Speaker 3: potatoes in general got a lot of Like, so yams
- 1:21:09Speaker 3: and then sweet potato cast roll both got panned hard.
- 1:21:12Speaker 10: Rid of psychopath, Gina, Get rid of it, dude, And
- 1:21:15Speaker 10: that's why finally gets whipped this out.
- 1:21:17Speaker 3: Got my jam?
- 1:21:18Speaker 10: Sure, I don't even because yams and sweet potatoes are
- 1:21:21Speaker 10: the best Thanksgiving food ever really, no matter how you
- 1:21:25Speaker 10: prepare them all year mash.
- 1:21:28Speaker 3: So what about the ones? Again? If I'm gonna have them,
- 1:21:31Speaker 3: it has to be the kind of have like the
- 1:21:33Speaker 3: it's a it's a sweet potato cast rolls, so it's
- 1:21:35Speaker 3: got the marshmallows that are on the top of it.
- 1:21:37Speaker 10: Yes, I like it any which way, just don't put
- 1:21:39Speaker 10: pecans in that market.
- 1:21:40Speaker 3: Yeah, but what's so, what's your favorite? If you you
- 1:21:42Speaker 3: need to pick your big yam fan sweeptato? What do
- 1:21:44Speaker 3: you do?
- 1:21:45Speaker 10: My favorite?
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: Wait?
- 1:21:46Speaker 10: Preparation, preparation, just like roasted sweet potato with like butter.
- 1:21:51Speaker 9: No marshmallows are so trashy. I make it with maple syrup,
- 1:21:55Speaker 9: brown sugar butter.
- 1:21:57Speaker 10: That's good. Nor potato pie shmallow sweeptato out of ten
- 1:22:02Speaker 10: best pie for things.
- 1:22:03Speaker 3: Just a couple more that came in on the On
- 1:22:05Speaker 3: the Take again Morgan loving rating things on a scale
- 1:22:08Speaker 3: of one of the ten.
- 1:22:09Speaker 10: It's like oxygen for her panties. Right now.
- 1:22:11Speaker 3: Brussels sprouts, you guys are.
- 1:22:13Speaker 10: Gonna hate me. Ten out of ten yeasted, freaking.
- 1:22:17Speaker 3: Love Brussels sprout, Right, It just depends on the presentation.
- 1:22:20Speaker 3: I like it with the you know, the roasted but
- 1:22:22Speaker 3: that they do that drizzle of like ah, that's what
- 1:22:26Speaker 3: I'm talking about.
- 1:22:26Speaker 10: I like them extra well done, like a little bacon,
- 1:22:30Speaker 10: but don't need too many. I've done that and you
- 1:22:32Speaker 10: get real gas took place recently.
- 1:22:34Speaker 3: And we are excited, like, oh cool because something my
- 1:22:36Speaker 3: wife and I agree on. As far as an appetizer
- 1:22:38Speaker 3: or whatever, they bring up the roasted Brussels sprouts, right,
- 1:22:40Speaker 3: and uh, they brought it out and had like I've
- 1:22:43Speaker 3: seen this before. Instead of like a balsamic, they'll use
- 1:22:45Speaker 3: like almost like a maple. I don't like that, right, Yeah,
- 1:22:48Speaker 3: I mean, I'm sure there's a lot of people that
- 1:22:52Speaker 3: like it. But yeah, if you.
- 1:22:54Speaker 10: Do it with honey, it's pretty good.
- 1:22:56Speaker 3: Yeah, like mac and cheese ten nine out of ten nine. Yeah,
- 1:23:01Speaker 3: you know what about deviled eggs. A lot of people
- 1:23:04Speaker 3: put deviled eggs out there.
- 1:23:07Speaker 7: They have to be I.
- 1:23:07Speaker 10: Think we talked about this minute, so they have to
- 1:23:09Speaker 10: be setting out as an appetizer, like while I'm waiting
- 1:23:12Speaker 10: for the food to become Yes, it's not part of
- 1:23:14Speaker 10: the meal.
- 1:23:15Speaker 3: And then and then the dinner rolls. Okay, because this
- 1:23:18Speaker 3: also seem to be like on the on the text
- 1:23:21Speaker 3: you know where you know, people are like, I don't
- 1:23:24Speaker 3: you could spare me the dinner roll because there's so
- 1:23:26Speaker 3: many because there's so many other things. Because you have
- 1:23:30Speaker 3: mashed potatoes, you have all the stuffing potato dinner roll. Dude,
- 1:23:36Speaker 3: it's like pasta in a bread ball. It's just it's redundant.
- 1:23:39Speaker 3: One out of ten one.
- 1:23:40Speaker 10: And the only bread that should be allowed for Thanksgiving
- 1:23:43Speaker 10: is corn bread. Corn bread that should be the only
- 1:23:45Speaker 10: bread allowed.
- 1:23:46Speaker 3: Oh you put some Hawaiian up in there. No, so good.
- 1:23:48Speaker 10: Corn bread only well Morgan, thank you very much, thank
- 1:23:51Speaker 10: you for letting me get it out.
- 1:23:52Speaker 3: Very controversial, a little insightful, good. All right, So you
- 1:24:02Speaker 3: guys want to give away some of these alter ego tickets,
- 1:24:05Speaker 3: It all right, some talk back on the iHeart Radio app.
- 1:24:09Speaker 3: Just to open up the iHeart Radio app, type in
- 1:24:11Speaker 3: all ninety eight to seven. And then what you're gonna
- 1:24:15Speaker 3: do is you're gonna tell us what's the worst holiday
- 1:24:19Speaker 3: gift you've ever got? And if you could just give
- 1:24:22Speaker 3: us your name and you know where you're from, they
- 1:24:24Speaker 3: just make it easier on us. Yeah. I'm not like
- 1:24:27Speaker 3: absolute half to necessary, but if you want to be nice, yeah,
- 1:24:31Speaker 3: and I would think you'd want to because we're the
- 1:24:33Speaker 3: ones who get to decide exactly. All right, So what's
- 1:24:36Speaker 3: the worst gift that you've gotten for the holidays? Here's
- 1:24:39Speaker 3: our first option, more than what.
- 1:24:42Speaker 21: Show worst holiday gift I got was at a church
- 1:24:46Speaker 21: white elephant gift exchange.
- 1:24:48Speaker 2: I was a freshman high school and.
- 1:24:50Speaker 21: Opened up at diaper had a butterfinger that had melted
- 1:24:53Speaker 21: inside I liter. We thought it was poop for about
- 1:24:57Speaker 21: the first minute, and we follow were smelling it and
- 1:24:59Speaker 21: I was he devastated since everyone else was getting gift
- 1:25:02Speaker 21: cards and cool other gadgets.
- 1:25:05Speaker 2: But hey, that's a fun memory, all right, That's.
- 1:25:12Speaker 7: That you got trolled.
- 1:25:13Speaker 3: Yeah that sucks though, Like if everybody's if everybody else
- 1:25:16Speaker 3: is opening up a bunch of different Oh, I'm just
- 1:25:18Speaker 3: talking to uh to somebody, and they were talking about
- 1:25:21Speaker 3: the same kind of thing where there was a company party.
- 1:25:25Speaker 3: Everybody was like opening up and getting like whatever it
- 1:25:28Speaker 3: was that because they reached it and selected gas cards,
- 1:25:33Speaker 3: you know, Visa, Cash Cars, Amazon Car like all this
- 1:25:37Speaker 3: really good stuff. And he pulled it out, uh, you
- 1:25:40Speaker 3: know whatever he got and it was like a membership
- 1:25:44Speaker 3: to like some museum, but it was for one Yeah. Yeah,
- 1:25:55Speaker 3: I forget what the museum was, but it was it
- 1:25:57Speaker 3: was something really lame that yeah, not even the auto museum. No,
- 1:26:01Speaker 3: no trade you Yeah, everyone's getting like two hundred dollars
- 1:26:06Speaker 3: you know gas cards rule. Yeah, and he got a
- 1:26:10Speaker 3: museum membership, So get him free admission to whatever the
- 1:26:13Speaker 3: museum was for one year by yourself for one all right.
- 1:26:17Speaker 3: So next one, let's see.
- 1:26:19Speaker 20: Worst Christmas gift ever? A kid on knitting your own
- 1:26:24Speaker 20: Christmas sweater. I don't even knick what are we gonna
- 1:26:28Speaker 20: do with this thing? Where do I have time?
- 1:26:33Speaker 3: Thanks guys, I have a good day, all right? Thanks man?
- 1:26:36Speaker 3: Still Matt, Yeah, all right, although Sammy probably like that.
- 1:26:39Speaker 10: I would, Yeah, but if you don't knit, it makes
- 1:26:41Speaker 10: no sense.
- 1:26:43Speaker 14: Uh.
- 1:26:43Speaker 3: And then here one more so.
- 1:26:46Speaker 4: I was in San Francisco watching the World Series, and
- 1:26:49Speaker 4: on my way back home I got keep voted by
- 1:26:51Speaker 4: a taxi. That Christmas, my aunt bought me a driver's
- 1:26:56Speaker 4: ed DBB, like a sick Driver's safety course on dvdn't
- 1:27:00Speaker 4: even get a ticket or anything if it wasn't my fault. Yeah,
- 1:27:02Speaker 4: that was the worst gift I ever got.
- 1:27:04Speaker 3: Okay, so hilarious it was.
- 1:27:08Speaker 7: That's funny, that's oh, that's so random.
- 1:27:11Speaker 3: All right, votes around the room. Who do you think
- 1:27:13Speaker 3: should get the Alter Ego tickets? Just from this round,
- 1:27:15Speaker 3: we're getting a lot of people talking about their worst gifts.
- 1:27:18Speaker 3: Send yours on the talkback feature on the iHeartRadio app.
- 1:27:21Speaker 3: But which one I will vote for? Number three?
- 1:27:24Speaker 9: By default White elephant gifts are supposed to be stupid
- 1:27:27Speaker 9: and garbage. Number two, You could at least regift that.
- 1:27:31Speaker 7: That's what I was gonnay.
- 1:27:31Speaker 9: Number three, what a dumb thing. Take that DVD and
- 1:27:36Speaker 9: chuck it.
- 1:27:36Speaker 3: See my votes for three?
- 1:27:38Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, same, And for the same reason. The diaper
- 1:27:41Speaker 7: is kind of funny. The sweater kit.
- 1:27:43Speaker 11: At least you can give it to someone else and
- 1:27:44Speaker 11: that saves you, you know, a thirty dollars gift. So
- 1:27:46Speaker 11: it's got to be the driver's head tape.
- 1:27:48Speaker 2: See.
- 1:27:49Speaker 8: I think number two because number one, like you said,
- 1:27:51Speaker 8: white elephants supposed to be weird. Number three there was
- 1:27:54Speaker 8: actually thought put into that gift, so I wonue appreciate
- 1:27:58Speaker 8: that the nit your own sweater.
- 1:27:59Speaker 7: He doesn't, he has no use for it.
- 1:28:01Speaker 10: There was no thought. So mine goes to number two.
- 1:28:04Speaker 12: All right, I'm going number one because it's just extra bad.
- 1:28:08Speaker 12: At least you got the third one.
- 1:28:11Speaker 3: So what is that? Am I doing?
- 1:28:12Speaker 2: The mat?
- 1:28:12Speaker 7: I think I think there's three? Oh wait, no, no,
- 1:28:15Speaker 7: what what did you vote for?
- 1:28:17Speaker 23: Three?
- 1:28:17Speaker 3: Number three? Number three?
- 1:28:21Speaker 6: Hey?
- 1:28:21Speaker 3: Number three is the winner? Hey show? All right, so
- 1:28:31Speaker 3: I guess this would be a side hustle group of
- 1:28:36Speaker 3: border patrol agents. They were doing their job and uh,
- 1:28:39Speaker 3: you know, usual car comes through. They stopped the car
- 1:28:41Speaker 3: they started. They found a bunch of monkeys eighteen Macconk's
- 1:28:46Speaker 3: macas Maconk. They also found a bunch of meth, both
- 1:28:52Speaker 3: in pill and crystal form. They were arrest of the people,
- 1:28:55Speaker 3: just took him to jail. They were part of a
- 1:28:57Speaker 3: wildlife trafficking ring. That it's awful and taken to a habitat.
- 1:29:06Speaker 3: So the monkeys, the monkeys are are fine. But that's
- 1:29:10Speaker 3: just what you're doing on the side, you know what
- 1:29:11Speaker 3: I mean. Well, they respect the hustle, like sell it
- 1:29:14Speaker 3: for thousands and thousands of dollars each just trying to
- 1:29:17Speaker 3: smuggle a cock.
- 1:29:18Speaker 7: I would like to know who's buying these into where
- 1:29:22Speaker 7: the monkeys of.
- 1:29:23Speaker 3: The country into the country. Thirty five year old guy,
- 1:29:27Speaker 3: he was down in Mexico. He was getting ready to
- 1:29:29Speaker 3: cross over into the US and he gets the border customs.
- 1:29:32Speaker 3: They stop him because they felt something was off with
- 1:29:35Speaker 3: this guy. Probably had something to do with that suspicious
- 1:29:37Speaker 3: bulge that he had in his pants. Hot So the
- 1:29:41Speaker 3: border patrol they pulled him off for the side. They
- 1:29:44Speaker 3: questioned him about the bulge. The guy said, hey, man,
- 1:29:47Speaker 3: it's just my penis. Yeah, and he was just he
- 1:29:49Speaker 3: was very insistent it's just my penis. So the agents
- 1:29:53Speaker 3: they took a closer look and they found two unconscious
- 1:29:57Speaker 3: parakeets in his underwear. Excuse me, Yeah, the birds are okay,
- 1:30:01Speaker 3: but the guy he was arrested charge of smuggling and
- 1:30:04Speaker 3: if convicted, it's gonna cost about two hundred and fifty
- 1:30:07Speaker 3: thousand dollars and potentially twenty years in prison.
- 1:30:11Speaker 9: Yeh before para, I don't know seven dollars?
- 1:30:16Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:30:16Speaker 3: Are they made out of cocaine?
- 1:30:18Speaker 7: And I didn't realize that you would smuggle them in
- 1:30:20Speaker 7: your underwear?
- 1:30:21Speaker 3: I don't first to be done.
- 1:30:24Speaker 12: The bird smuggling thing is so weird to me because
- 1:30:26Speaker 12: people get caught on planes all the time, like trying
- 1:30:29Speaker 12: to smuggle turtles.
- 1:30:32Speaker 3: Turtle but no, no. But also what is it the
- 1:30:36Speaker 3: like two cans like like grouper exotic Yeah yeah, lamb.
- 1:30:43Speaker 3: This survey just abnormal by the numbers again, people with
- 1:30:47Speaker 3: extra you know, side hustles, which I hate that term.
- 1:30:50Speaker 3: I know, Greg and I are, yeah, but I I
- 1:30:53Speaker 3: know what it is. It says what it is job
- 1:30:56Speaker 3: side job, like second second job. I guess according to
- 1:31:00Speaker 3: to all these different people they talked to, thirty one
- 1:31:02Speaker 3: percent of people so they now have a side job
- 1:31:06Speaker 3: to go along with their main job. Seventy three percent
- 1:31:08Speaker 3: of those people motivated by financial need obviously yeah, not
- 1:31:13Speaker 3: just to stay busy fun. Forty four percent of people
- 1:31:16Speaker 3: are using online sales for their little side gig. Fifty
- 1:31:20Speaker 3: eight percent of them using you know, peer to peer
- 1:31:23Speaker 3: platforms like you know, Facebook, Marketplace to do their thing.
- 1:31:26Speaker 3: Fifty one percent started their little side job in the
- 1:31:29Speaker 3: last year, thirty nine percent in the last six months.
- 1:31:32Speaker 3: They said they earn't about an extra five hundred bucks
- 1:31:34Speaker 3: a month after taxes, and twenty percent said they make
- 1:31:38Speaker 3: over a thousand bucks. That's great, pretty good, that's noteworthy.
- 1:31:42Speaker 3: And they people on average dedicate they say, fewer than
- 1:31:45Speaker 3: ten hours a week to whatever they're doing for an
- 1:31:49Speaker 3: extra grand. Pretty good on the side. Yeah, now, so
- 1:31:53Speaker 3: that is some of the side work. I mean pay
- 1:31:56Speaker 3: pretty well. There's some dozens. There's a person that we
- 1:32:01Speaker 3: know that just does it's not nannying, it's it's babysitting
- 1:32:06Speaker 3: really because just here and there nannying, I believe is
- 1:32:09Speaker 3: I consider that to be when you're working for one
- 1:32:11Speaker 3: family and it's like on a daily or almost live
- 1:32:15Speaker 3: there a few days a week. Not even if you
- 1:32:16Speaker 3: don't you don't have to necessarily live there, but you're
- 1:32:18Speaker 3: working for one family and you're there like at least
- 1:32:21Speaker 3: a few days a week doing whatever it is. Babysitting
- 1:32:24Speaker 3: is like the one off suff and that's what this
- 1:32:25Speaker 3: person does, like the one off stuff, and they're getting
- 1:32:28Speaker 3: paid over twenty five bucks an hour.
- 1:32:30Speaker 9: I still can't even get used to that.
- 1:32:33Speaker 7: Yeah, and so why we don't do babysitting.
- 1:32:35Speaker 3: And this person already works for themselves, and so it's
- 1:32:39Speaker 3: just when they have extra time here and there, parents
- 1:32:41Speaker 3: will call them up and go, oh, hey, we have
- 1:32:43Speaker 3: this thing, that thing going on, or hey, could you
- 1:32:45Speaker 3: do us a favor. Can you go grab you know,
- 1:32:47Speaker 3: a little Johnny from whatever and bring him over here,
- 1:32:51Speaker 3: you know, tied up at work and you know, things
- 1:32:54Speaker 3: like that, And then it's that's good extra money on
- 1:32:56Speaker 3: the side.
- 1:32:56Speaker 7: I'll do that for twenty five bucks an hour, right,
- 1:32:58Speaker 7: you can pay some bills.
- 1:32:59Speaker 3: Yeah, this is this is a person, and this is
- 1:33:02Speaker 3: a person who in general just likes kids, so doesn't
- 1:33:05Speaker 3: mind hanging out with them.
- 1:33:08Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:33:08Speaker 3: Like we've had some other babysitters. We could tell they
- 1:33:10Speaker 3: were just there for the paycheck. Yeah, like all right, whatever,
- 1:33:13Speaker 3: don't burn the house down, just leave me alone. Other
- 1:33:16Speaker 3: ones who like, they bring stuff, they bring activities craft.
- 1:33:21Speaker 7: I never really liked babysitting.
- 1:33:22Speaker 11: I did a lot of it, and I was a
- 1:33:23Speaker 11: camp counselor so I finally figured out with at least
- 1:33:25Speaker 11: the little girls, we'd play hair.
- 1:33:26Speaker 7: Salon and I would just lay on the couch and
- 1:33:28Speaker 7: make them brush my hair. And he was just so
- 1:33:30Speaker 7: happy and I kind of like fall asleep, and I'm like,
- 1:33:32Speaker 7: this is great.
- 1:33:38Speaker 3: What happened to Morgan's side hustles? She's she's still doing
- 1:33:40Speaker 3: things here and yeah, she's still applying to some of
- 1:33:44Speaker 3: those craigslists, those Craigslist opportunities. She needs to figure out
- 1:33:49Speaker 3: how she can monetize, Like a lot of her free
- 1:33:52Speaker 3: time is being taken up by boxing. Oh yeah, So
- 1:33:55Speaker 3: like how could you do something that you want to
- 1:33:59Speaker 3: do and make money off just.
- 1:34:00Speaker 7: Film it topless and sell it.
- 1:34:03Speaker 3: Oh, there you go. We've we already talked about the
- 1:34:05Speaker 3: only fan things for like two years. But that's not
- 1:34:07Speaker 3: going to happen.
- 1:34:08Speaker 7: No, it's it's not And it's not a new idea.
- 1:34:11Speaker 11: She's already boxing, just boxing pasties now, yeah, and what
- 1:34:16Speaker 11: do your workout?
- 1:34:16Speaker 3: I just I don't see her doing that happen.
- 1:34:19Speaker 10: Really at the gym. They're not gonna do that.
- 1:34:21Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 1:34:22Speaker 3: Well, she doesn't have a box at the gym.
- 1:34:23Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, but she doesn't have her own setup.
- 1:34:25Speaker 3: I just think there's another way.
- 1:34:27Speaker 13: What is it?
- 1:34:28Speaker 3: I don't know. I would have to really take a
- 1:34:29Speaker 3: look at what she's doing to see if there's a
- 1:34:32Speaker 3: way that she can make money off of it.
- 1:34:33Speaker 12: Like she likes posting it on social media. Maybe start
- 1:34:37Speaker 12: live streaming her sessions or something like that and make
- 1:34:39Speaker 12: a couple bucks off of it. Yeah, because a lot
- 1:34:42Speaker 12: of these live TikTok people they're making money.
- 1:34:46Speaker 3: Well, okay, here's here's here's something we do. Let's uh,
- 1:34:50Speaker 3: let's open the phonesour woodie. We've done those before. Like, uh,
- 1:34:55Speaker 3: what do you do and how much do you make?
- 1:34:58Speaker 3: And not for your full time job, this is for
- 1:35:01Speaker 3: something you're just doing on the side.
- 1:35:03Speaker 7: Okay, that's a good idea.
- 1:35:04Speaker 3: It's it's it's a secondary stream of income, a side hustle,
- 1:35:07Speaker 3: if I must say it, that's what it is. So
- 1:35:11Speaker 3: what are you doing just for whatever? Whatever the reason.
- 1:35:15Speaker 3: Maybe it's because you're saving up for something, you're going
- 1:35:17Speaker 3: to buy a house at some point, or you're you know,
- 1:35:20Speaker 3: you just need extra money right now just to make
- 1:35:22Speaker 3: ends meet, but like whatever it is, in general, yeah,
- 1:35:25Speaker 3: just in general, what are you doing? What are you
- 1:35:28Speaker 3: doing for a secondary stream of income and then how
- 1:35:31Speaker 3: much are you making off of it? So it's a
- 1:35:33Speaker 3: what are you doing? How much do you make? But
- 1:35:35Speaker 3: for secondary gigs eight seven seven you can also text
- 1:35:41Speaker 3: if you don't have the time to call in or
- 1:35:43Speaker 3: rather not call and just just text, you can do
- 1:35:46Speaker 3: that as well. Over to two to nine eighty seven.
- 1:35:48Speaker 3: So for side gigs side gigs only, it's not your
- 1:35:52Speaker 3: main source of income side gigs, what do you do
- 1:35:55Speaker 3: and how much you make in doing it? Might be
- 1:35:58Speaker 3: able to help some people out this morning. Yeah, help
- 1:36:00Speaker 3: some people out figure out you know, what they can do.
- 1:36:03Speaker 3: It's always something. Yeah, Well, we'll get to your calls,
- 1:36:05Speaker 3: we'll get to some of these text messages which you're
- 1:36:07Speaker 3: already coming through. Very nice. That's next on the Woody Show.
- 1:36:09Speaker 3: Hang on the show, right, Woody Show. So what's your uh,
- 1:36:19Speaker 3: what's your secondary stream of income side gig? And then
- 1:36:23Speaker 3: what are you bringing in on that? Yeah, So people
- 1:36:26Speaker 3: looking too either you know, save money here where they
- 1:36:28Speaker 3: can or both save money where you can, you know,
- 1:36:31Speaker 3: add a little extra income to whatever your main gig is.
- 1:36:34Speaker 3: You got a little extra time, so you want to
- 1:36:35Speaker 3: bring some extra money in. For different reasons, some people
- 1:36:37Speaker 3: there's just something they're saving up for other people just
- 1:36:40Speaker 3: looking to Hey, rather than to sit around and watch TV,
- 1:36:42Speaker 3: I'd rather be doing something where I got some extra
- 1:36:44Speaker 3: money coming in for whatever it is it.
- 1:36:48Speaker 9: H waitybucks you didn't have an hour ago.
- 1:36:50Speaker 3: Yeah, A lot of people with the one woman she's
- 1:36:54Speaker 3: making like cake pops and she's selling cake pops. Oh yeah,
- 1:36:57Speaker 3: I've noticed there's a lot of like people like food
- 1:37:00Speaker 3: related things like here like Jesse, let's say how to
- 1:37:02Speaker 3: say how to Jesse? Everybody?
- 1:37:03Speaker 21: How did you?
- 1:37:07Speaker 2: All? Right?
- 1:37:07Speaker 3: So another one with with baking. Okay, so what's your
- 1:37:11Speaker 3: what's your side gig?
- 1:37:13Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:37:13Speaker 22: So I opened a home bakery with.
- 1:37:16Speaker 3: My mom bakery. Now, when you do something like that,
- 1:37:19Speaker 3: do you have to go through like the health department
- 1:37:22Speaker 3: codes or like I don't like, how does that work?
- 1:37:26Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 1:37:26Speaker 22: So we had to get our cottage food license with.
- 1:37:29Speaker 3: The county cottage food I like cottage industry, cottage industry. Yeah,
- 1:37:34Speaker 3: and then what what are you bringing in with with that?
- 1:37:37Speaker 3: You and your mom?
- 1:37:39Speaker 21: Uh?
- 1:37:39Speaker 22: So we do sour dough bread. We also do cookies, muffins, sweetbreads,
- 1:37:47Speaker 22: and any type of cake.
- 1:37:49Speaker 3: Basically you say that you do this, but we don't
- 1:37:52Speaker 3: see any of it. I hear a lot about it,
- 1:37:53Speaker 3: but I see it in front of me. Yeah, but
- 1:37:56Speaker 3: you probably don't know where we're at more located.
- 1:38:00Speaker 22: Car, I know where you guys are at.
- 1:38:04Speaker 3: You can order, yeah, no order, we can. So how
- 1:38:08Speaker 3: much do you make doing this?
- 1:38:12Speaker 22: So we haven't been able to profit yet because we
- 1:38:17Speaker 22: had a financial backer, so we have to make that
- 1:38:20Speaker 22: money back first. But we're pretty good. We've averaged about
- 1:38:27Speaker 22: three hundred and how much three and thirty in sales?
- 1:38:34Speaker 3: Okay, all right, wait, three hundred and thirty one dollars.
- 1:38:39Speaker 22: Items?
- 1:38:40Speaker 14: Oh?
- 1:38:40Speaker 3: Items?
- 1:38:43Speaker 12: Okay, Now, how do you it's just like online ordering
- 1:38:47Speaker 12: or do you send it to a physical place. Are
- 1:38:49Speaker 12: you providing for like a like a different like restaurant
- 1:38:53Speaker 12: or stores.
- 1:38:54Speaker 22: It's online order, Yeah, it's online ordering. We do mostly
- 1:38:58Speaker 22: through social media right now, Facebook and Instagram.
- 1:39:01Speaker 7: All well, delivery, good luck.
- 1:39:05Speaker 3: I appreciate thank you for the for the call. Yeah,
- 1:39:08Speaker 3: the bakery thing is big. Like here, say hi to Angela, Angela, Hi, Hello,
- 1:39:13Speaker 3: hello the baking thing. What are you baking and making
- 1:39:17Speaker 3: and selling?
- 1:39:18Speaker 24: I do not bake. I actually sell blemed out beads
- 1:39:21Speaker 24: for like pens crafts.
- 1:39:26Speaker 3: Okay, beads. All right, So what kind of beads.
- 1:39:32Speaker 24: Under blened out, bleed out for beads for like pens,
- 1:39:36Speaker 24: the I y craft.
- 1:39:40Speaker 7: I mean you could.
- 1:39:43Speaker 3: Anywhere, I guess.
- 1:39:45Speaker 24: Really really pretty blemed out beads. And you know, pop
- 1:39:48Speaker 24: mark is very popular right now. So I have character
- 1:39:52Speaker 24: toppers for pens and yeah.
- 1:39:55Speaker 16: So that's what I've been doing.
- 1:39:57Speaker 3: And what does that bring in?
- 1:39:59Speaker 24: So actually average about ten grand a month?
- 1:40:02Speaker 3: Ten Are you just for beads? It's incredible.
- 1:40:07Speaker 12: Are you just flipping these beads? Like are you getting
- 1:40:09Speaker 12: them from overseas or something like that? Or you're not
- 1:40:12Speaker 12: actually making them?
- 1:40:14Speaker 4: No?
- 1:40:14Speaker 24: I wish I had that talent. No, I do get
- 1:40:16Speaker 24: them from overseas and I just resell them at a
- 1:40:19Speaker 24: higher pe. And and I only do this three to
- 1:40:26Speaker 24: four hours a day, four days a week.
- 1:40:31Speaker 7: Yeah, teach a class, Angela.
- 1:40:32Speaker 3: Thank you for the call. I appreciate you listening. Let's
- 1:40:34Speaker 3: say how to Natalie? Hey, what's up? Natalie?
- 1:40:36Speaker 2: Hey?
- 1:40:36Speaker 7: Natalie?
- 1:40:38Speaker 3: All right, so we're talking about side gigs. What do
- 1:40:41Speaker 3: you do in the how much you're making on that?
- 1:40:44Speaker 13: Well?
- 1:40:44Speaker 16: I don't make that much, but I do like product testing.
- 1:40:50Speaker 3: Okay, Yeah, I've heard about that. Yeah, and that's uh.
- 1:40:54Speaker 3: They just send you stuff, you check it out and
- 1:40:56Speaker 3: then just to go on like write a survey or
- 1:40:58Speaker 3: not a start but like a like a review of
- 1:41:00Speaker 3: kind of thing.
- 1:41:01Speaker 16: Yeah, and like I tested stuff for Apple. I've tested
- 1:41:05Speaker 16: right now, I'm testing a printer and it's like a
- 1:41:08Speaker 16: really big like office printer. But yeah, I can make
- 1:41:11Speaker 16: like six hundred dollars a month because oh.
- 1:41:14Speaker 3: Wow, all right's and then how much but how much
- 1:41:16Speaker 3: time does that take? Like is there is there a
- 1:41:19Speaker 3: lot of obligation, like they send you something you have
- 1:41:21Speaker 3: to is there a ton of stuff you.
- 1:41:22Speaker 2: Have to do?
- 1:41:23Speaker 16: Or yeah, well I do like this their surveys and
- 1:41:27Speaker 16: it only it takes me like ten ten minutes a day.
- 1:41:29Speaker 7: Oh okay, And do you get to keep any other products?
- 1:41:33Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 1:41:35Speaker 16: Yeah, well I'm keeping the office printer that I mean,
- 1:41:38Speaker 16: I could sell it if I want.
- 1:41:39Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, that's pretty cool right now, Like thank you
- 1:41:43Speaker 3: for the call. I appreciate you listening everybody saying hi
- 1:41:45Speaker 3: to Angel Angel? What angel Angel?
- 1:41:51Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:41:51Speaker 3: There there is Angel? All right, So side gig, what
- 1:41:54Speaker 3: do you do?
- 1:41:55Speaker 14: Uh?
- 1:41:55Speaker 3: And then how much you bring it in with it?
- 1:41:58Speaker 16: What I do is I make boo Boo shirts and
- 1:42:01Speaker 16: I make about two to three.
- 1:42:02Speaker 3: Thousands like shirts for the Boo Boos.
- 1:42:06Speaker 23: Yes, I like custom like for sporting games like hockey, football, baseball.
- 1:42:12Speaker 3: Wow. Okay, talk about capitalizing on on a moment, on
- 1:42:17Speaker 3: a trend, right yeah? Yeah? And then and what so
- 1:42:20Speaker 3: what what do you do?
- 1:42:21Speaker 4: Like?
- 1:42:22Speaker 2: What?
- 1:42:22Speaker 3: What's what's your regular job?
- 1:42:24Speaker 22: I actually have been in the show. I did this before.
- 1:42:27Speaker 22: I was a hobby as well.
- 1:42:28Speaker 23: I make dog for dog shows.
- 1:42:31Speaker 3: Okay, right, right, okay, now I remember. Okay, so you.
- 1:42:38Speaker 22: Was supposed to give me a callback.
- 1:42:39Speaker 13: I was gonna take you like stuff.
- 1:42:41Speaker 5: You guys never did you know you got?
- 1:42:43Speaker 3: Did you give you the information to Morgan? I bet
- 1:42:46Speaker 3: you did? Yeah? Okay, yeah, Well you know what, I'm
- 1:42:50Speaker 3: gonna put you back. I'm gonna put you back on hold,
- 1:42:51Speaker 3: and then uh Morgan, we're gonna make it. I guarantee
- 1:42:54Speaker 3: she lost it. So yeah, I'm gonna put you back
- 1:42:56Speaker 3: on hold, give Morgan your information, will reach out, all right,
- 1:42:59Speaker 3: and also hook you guys with some shirts off. All right, Angel,
- 1:43:05Speaker 3: thank you for the call. Hang on, don't go anywhere.
- 1:43:07Speaker 3: Don't go anywhere.
- 1:43:07Speaker 7: What an enterprising young man.
- 1:43:09Speaker 3: Yeah, and let's say hi to Matt, Hey, what's up, Matt, Matt.
- 1:43:16Speaker 13: Hey, what's up?
- 1:43:17Speaker 12: What do your show?
- 1:43:17Speaker 4: What up?
- 1:43:18Speaker 3: All right? So side gig?
- 1:43:19Speaker 2: What do you do?
- 1:43:20Speaker 3: And how much you bringing in on it?
- 1:43:23Speaker 23: So this one I can't take credit for. It's my friend.
- 1:43:27Speaker 23: He is a paparazzi. So he goes around taking celebrity photos.
- 1:43:31Speaker 23: He usually wears a go pro and he posts the
- 1:43:34Speaker 23: go pro footage to YouTube and makes money off of that.
- 1:43:38Speaker 23: But he also posts that footage to porn hub, and
- 1:43:43Speaker 23: he makes more off the porn hub than he does
- 1:43:46Speaker 23: off of the YouTube, just.
- 1:43:47Speaker 3: From celebrities being in public. They're not even.
- 1:43:49Speaker 23: Naked exactly, and that gets the paid.
- 1:44:00Speaker 3: See Morgan, there you go. Yeah, that's it. That's you
- 1:44:04Speaker 3: don't have to get naked. Nobody's even naked, but you
- 1:44:07Speaker 3: just post it on porn hub and if you got
- 1:44:10Speaker 3: somebody that'd be worth you know. I guess people searching
- 1:44:13Speaker 3: a lot. I know they did repshare like that. Yeah,
- 1:44:17Speaker 3: good to know how menis. Yeah, I guess all right, Matt,
- 1:44:19Speaker 3: thank you for the call. Appreciated some of the texts.
- 1:44:22Speaker 3: So to two two nine eighty seven. This one said
- 1:44:24Speaker 3: I used to do uber for a side gig, but
- 1:44:27Speaker 3: then I found a family that travels often, and now
- 1:44:30Speaker 3: I just take them to their uh and they're friends
- 1:44:32Speaker 3: at the airport for about seventy five bucks a trip. Oh,
- 1:44:35Speaker 3: so cut out the middle man. Yeah, I've I've been.
- 1:44:37Speaker 3: I've been solicited that way with ride shares before, where
- 1:44:42Speaker 3: they go, hey, man, if you ever need Yeah, they
- 1:44:43Speaker 3: have the card right all ready to go. I work
- 1:44:47Speaker 3: part time for the city coaching and refing flag football.
- 1:44:52Speaker 3: Pays about twenty seven bucks an hour. I constantly have
- 1:44:54Speaker 3: parents asking for private lessons for their kids, and I'm
- 1:44:57Speaker 3: not teaching anything with just the basic football skills. I wouldn'
- 1:45:00Speaker 3: do it catching, running, et cetera.
- 1:45:02Speaker 7: The parents are so mean and so crazy.
- 1:45:05Speaker 3: Morgan can totally train little kids on the side doing
- 1:45:07Speaker 3: you know, MMA for fitness. Parents want anything that'll keep
- 1:45:10Speaker 3: their kids active. That's not it. You know what would
- 1:45:12Speaker 3: be cool? Talk about how there's an idea for you, Morgan,
- 1:45:15Speaker 3: she's going through the phones right now. Yeah, but yeah,
- 1:45:19Speaker 3: that's not something that she's passionate about. To make money. Yeah,
- 1:45:23Speaker 3: this one over to two two nine eighty seven. I
- 1:45:25Speaker 3: do dog boarding and pet sitting through Rover as a
- 1:45:29Speaker 3: as a side gig. It's honestly, not hard, mostly just
- 1:45:33Speaker 3: feeding walks, making sure that the pups are comfortable. I've
- 1:45:36Speaker 3: made around ten thousand dollars this year. Yeah, so it's
- 1:45:39Speaker 3: been really solid extra income for me. There's a lot of.
- 1:45:42Speaker 9: People with full time jobs that do the Uber stuff.
- 1:45:45Speaker 7: And Plasma donation.
- 1:45:48Speaker 3: I collect other people's receipts from restaurants, gas station, groceries, stars,
- 1:45:52Speaker 3: et cetera, and then I use the apps to turn
- 1:45:54Speaker 3: it into actual moneym averaging about one hundred and fifty
- 1:45:56Speaker 3: dollars a week. Oh okay, my son was doing this
- 1:45:59Speaker 3: for a minute. Time I had a receipt. He was
- 1:46:01Speaker 3: asking for the receipts so he could take a picture
- 1:46:02Speaker 3: of it. Uh huh. I don't know if it ever
- 1:46:04Speaker 3: resulted in anything. I said, what are you doing this for?
- 1:46:06Speaker 3: He goes, well, depending on what you spend or what
- 1:46:09Speaker 3: you bought, it would equal to these points. The points
- 1:46:11Speaker 3: are can be turned into gift cards. Yeah.
- 1:46:15Speaker 11: I don't mean to be rude, but i've oh, I've
- 1:46:17Speaker 11: only heard them talk about it. I always said, this
- 1:46:19Speaker 11: is like a crackhead thing, like looking for receipts.
- 1:46:23Speaker 3: Sounds like it. I've been in the automotive industry for
- 1:46:26Speaker 3: fifteen years of a technician. Even though I get paid
- 1:46:28Speaker 3: a decent amount. I build motors and race cars for
- 1:46:32Speaker 3: track use for clients that find my ad on Facebook marketplace,
- 1:46:36Speaker 3: and depending on their needs, I can make between twenty
- 1:46:38Speaker 3: five hundred and eight thousand dollars per bill. That's bank.
- 1:46:41Speaker 3: The most I've made of the month was back in
- 1:46:44Speaker 3: July fifteen thousand dollars.
- 1:46:46Speaker 7: That's amazing.
- 1:46:48Speaker 3: Sometimes my side hustle pays me more than what I
- 1:46:50Speaker 3: do for my regular jump.
- 1:46:51Speaker 12: Yeah, like an F one engine cost twelve million dollars,
- 1:46:53Speaker 12: so I can just you know, just think of like
- 1:46:56Speaker 12: even lower level probably costs thousands of dollars.
- 1:47:00Speaker 3: This is a good one. I do coffee on the side.
- 1:47:02Speaker 3: I fixed machines either at a cafe or I buy
- 1:47:05Speaker 3: broken espresso machines. I refurbish them and then I sell them.
- 1:47:09Speaker 3: I'll also cater events depending on on on my hustle.
- 1:47:13Speaker 3: I have made from two hundred bucks to one thousand
- 1:47:15Speaker 3: bucks per month. And it started because I wanted a
- 1:47:17Speaker 3: better espresso machine. That is a highly specialized skill. That's
- 1:47:21Speaker 3: how that stuff happens to oppressive. You know, people identify like,
- 1:47:24Speaker 3: you know what we could do this, but if we
- 1:47:27Speaker 3: provide this part of it or you know, make this
- 1:47:29Speaker 3: part of it easier or better. Yeah, and you just
- 1:47:32Speaker 3: do that on the side, and then next thing, you know,
- 1:47:35Speaker 3: you're hiring employees and that replaces you know, something like
- 1:47:39Speaker 3: that like that that's at something not the espresso machine
- 1:47:44Speaker 3: per se, but maybe like the guy who's building engines,
- 1:47:46Speaker 3: something like I think like a higher ticket kind of thing,
- 1:47:49Speaker 3: or even the chickens of beads. I know, the beads
- 1:47:52Speaker 3: ten grand.
- 1:47:52Speaker 12: A month, break and iregan in business, I know, how
- 1:47:56Speaker 12: much is that a year? Menace a ten thousand a month?
- 1:48:00Speaker 12: One hundred and twenty thousand.
- 1:48:01Speaker 3: Wow, you're smart enough for our beats. Hell yeah, we're
- 1:48:05Speaker 3: talking dollars. Yeah, all right, So what's your what's your
- 1:48:08Speaker 3: side gig, not your main source of income, your side gig?
- 1:48:11Speaker 3: And then how much are you making off of that?
- 1:48:13Speaker 6: This is no.
- 1:48:17Speaker 3: So we're gonna hand out another pair of Alter Ego
- 1:48:20Speaker 3: tickets to one of the people that have hit up
- 1:48:23Speaker 3: the iHeartRadio app typed in ninety eighty seven and use
- 1:48:27Speaker 3: the talkback feature to tell us what's the worst holiday
- 1:48:30Speaker 3: gift you ever got? And that's the question throughout the day,
- 1:48:34Speaker 3: So even if you don't want it with us, it's fine.
- 1:48:37Speaker 3: Chris and Lamone Booker and Striker.
- 1:48:39Speaker 9: They're using the same question. I finally remembered mine. Yeah,
- 1:48:42Speaker 9: my mom's best friend they're no longer friends. For Christmas
- 1:48:46Speaker 9: used to give me a fifty cent gift card to McDonald's.
- 1:48:51Speaker 3: Yeah, fifty sixty And.
- 1:48:54Speaker 9: It wasn't even the gift card. It was like a
- 1:48:56Speaker 9: McDonald's cool I've seen these books.
- 1:48:58Speaker 3: Yeah, but back in the day, busy sense could buy
- 1:49:01Speaker 3: you something, may be a cheeseburger, yeah, on ice cream cone.
- 1:49:04Speaker 3: I remember they would do those for Halloween. They have
- 1:49:08Speaker 3: little McDonald's coupon books that people put ink, which is
- 1:49:12Speaker 3: perfectly for a stranger.
- 1:49:14Speaker 9: But when it's your best friend's kid every year, that's
- 1:49:18Speaker 9: how old I got it McDonald's coupon.
- 1:49:21Speaker 3: We'll wrap up this this topic about this like a
- 1:49:24Speaker 3: side gig, something you're doing on the side just to
- 1:49:26Speaker 3: bring in antle extra money. What are you doing and
- 1:49:28Speaker 3: then how much do you make with it? Joanne? Another
- 1:49:31Speaker 3: other person baking. There's a lot of baking stuff and
- 1:49:33Speaker 3: making things of food stuff. Joanna, what do you make?
- 1:49:37Speaker 13: I make like your typical goor mat cookies similar to
- 1:49:41Speaker 13: crumbo cookie, but even better, do your customs sugar cookies
- 1:49:46Speaker 13: with images and things like that. I did do a
- 1:49:49Speaker 13: couple for Striker, yeah and Booker.
- 1:49:53Speaker 3: Okay, we didn't see any those here, yeah yeah, disappeared. Yeah.
- 1:49:58Speaker 3: Good luck with your adventure. Yeah no, that's uh, that's
- 1:50:01Speaker 3: because you just do it on the side. What's your
- 1:50:03Speaker 3: main job? What do you what do you do for
- 1:50:04Speaker 3: a living?
- 1:50:05Speaker 13: I actually take care of my family virtually. My dad
- 1:50:09Speaker 13: passed away back in May, so that what kind of
- 1:50:11Speaker 13: took me into the baking business?
- 1:50:13Speaker 2: Okay?
- 1:50:13Speaker 3: All right? And then what do you what are you
- 1:50:15Speaker 3: making on this well besides cookies, like what kind of
- 1:50:17Speaker 3: dough are you making? You know what I'm saying? Cool,
- 1:50:19Speaker 3: you know what I'm saying.
- 1:50:22Speaker 13: Usually, let's say for a rough weekend, about five hundred dollars.
- 1:50:27Speaker 13: Make sure I also do the cor and things like that.
- 1:50:29Speaker 13: I could make up to at least thousand, two thousand,
- 1:50:32Speaker 13: five hundred and just one of it.
- 1:50:34Speaker 3: Good for you, right, that's awesome? All right, well, Joanna,
- 1:50:37Speaker 3: thank you for the call. Good luck with you do
- 1:50:40Speaker 3: you sugar cookie business' have been nice to say that
- 1:50:42Speaker 3: we've tasted it. I guess we'll never know not for
- 1:50:45Speaker 3: a run. Its for like Booker and Strucker.
- 1:50:47Speaker 13: Take some down to your guys off.
- 1:50:51Speaker 3: We're just giving you a hard time. Thank you, Joanna.
- 1:50:53Speaker 3: We love you the wood shoe. So what do you
- 1:51:01Speaker 3: do on the side, and then how much do you
- 1:51:03Speaker 3: bring in? I don't know how much this person makes
- 1:51:04Speaker 3: on the side, but it's Elizabeth. It says, I'm a
- 1:51:07Speaker 3: plus size BBW and I do a chat chat chatter
- 1:51:11Speaker 3: bait chatterbait. Yeah, it's like a streaming and only fans.
- 1:51:16Speaker 3: As a side gig. She's a Walmart cashier. Oh okay,
- 1:51:22Speaker 3: as a regular job. Yeah, I make custom corn hole
- 1:51:25Speaker 3: boards and I charge anywhere from four hundred to six
- 1:51:27Speaker 3: hundred bucks per set. Usually takes cool. It takes home
- 1:51:31Speaker 3: about two hundred and fifty to three hundred dollars per
- 1:51:33Speaker 3: set out of that, so I get that all right.
- 1:51:36Speaker 3: And then this one says I work as a part
- 1:51:39Speaker 3: time valet bellman two to three days a week at
- 1:51:43Speaker 3: a resort. I make about one thousand bucks with tips
- 1:51:46Speaker 3: and hourly. I would love to be the part time
- 1:51:48Speaker 3: guy that you know you just opened the door to
- 1:51:50Speaker 3: the taxi and then people, oh, yeah, that's it, thank
- 1:51:53Speaker 3: you didn't work. I have a company that produces events
- 1:51:58Speaker 3: and we offer a photo boot with DJ service and
- 1:52:02Speaker 3: some karaoke make about one hundred and twenty thousand dollars
- 1:52:05Speaker 3: a year. Yeah, there was a person I ran into
- 1:52:09Speaker 3: and they do that thing, you know, like a like
- 1:52:11Speaker 3: a photo booth that events weddings, things like that, and
- 1:52:14Speaker 3: they do something else too. I forget what it was,
- 1:52:17Speaker 3: but another one of the oh sketching, Yeah, yeah, ooh,
- 1:52:22Speaker 3: this is cool. My side gig. I am a contracted
- 1:52:26Speaker 3: Gulf Stream pilot thirty five hundred dollars a day anywhere
- 1:52:31Speaker 3: from one to five days a month.
- 1:52:33Speaker 7: Are you going to do that?
- 1:52:35Speaker 3: That's pretty cool. I do know some people that are
- 1:52:37Speaker 3: that are pilots like that. They have a they have
- 1:52:39Speaker 3: a gig, but they'll fly like a private jet charters
- 1:52:41Speaker 3: actually do that on the side. Yeah, they do, like
- 1:52:43Speaker 3: private jet charters on the side. They'll fly for like
- 1:52:45Speaker 3: you know one I not. I don't. I don't know
- 1:52:48Speaker 3: if this is the cover like a like a net
- 1:52:50Speaker 3: Jets type of company or something like that. You've heard
- 1:52:52Speaker 3: of them. I fixed barber chairs and it started as
- 1:52:54Speaker 3: a side gig, make between one to three thousand dollars
- 1:52:57Speaker 3: a month, but now it's my full time gig. I'm
- 1:52:59Speaker 3: making about five grand a month O grip, Yeah, pretty cool.
- 1:53:03Speaker 3: Another one. I donate plasma twice a week, so it's
- 1:53:07Speaker 3: paying the ass. But an extra one hundred and forty
- 1:53:09Speaker 3: dollars a week is worth it for me.
- 1:53:11Speaker 10: I don't realize you can donate it that often.
- 1:53:13Speaker 3: Yeah, well they're not, they're selling it. Sorry, I can't
- 1:53:19Speaker 3: say anyway, thank you so much for hit this up.
- 1:53:23Speaker 3: Let us know. I mean again, I'm not looking for
- 1:53:25Speaker 3: a side gig, but I know a lot of people are.
- 1:53:27Speaker 3: And sometimes you're like, I don't know what I what
- 1:53:29Speaker 3: can you do?
- 1:53:29Speaker 2: Like what do you do?
- 1:53:30Speaker 3: Like where do you even start? May help help somebody
- 1:53:32Speaker 3: get off, Get off go.
- 1:53:33Speaker 2: You know.
- 1:53:34Speaker 9: I got to read my favorite text. My side gig
- 1:53:36Speaker 9: is shooting videos of crashes and fire scenes.
- 1:53:39Speaker 3: I make no money. That's your hobby. It's a hobby.
- 1:53:43Speaker 3: Although some people do that. They'll show up at crashes, fires,
- 1:53:48Speaker 3: things like that. Yeah, and then they sell the footage
- 1:53:50Speaker 3: to when the news is running it.
- 1:53:52Speaker 9: Totally that's competitive business and they do that all right.
- 1:53:56Speaker 3: Eight seven seven forty four Wooding hit us up of
- 1:53:59Speaker 3: the text over to two nine eight seven Get some
- 1:54:01Speaker 3: more Woody show coming up. But we do have another
- 1:54:04Speaker 3: pair of Alter Ego tickets to give away using the
- 1:54:07Speaker 3: talkback feature of the iHeartRadio app. Just tap that microphone
- 1:54:11Speaker 3: and tell us what is the worst holiday gift You've
- 1:54:14Speaker 3: ever gotten? This is the first option.
- 1:54:17Speaker 24: Hello, So this is Mark Carlsbad.
- 1:54:21Speaker 21: I think the worst gift that I've ever been given
- 1:54:24Speaker 21: was a Kirkland major scene on Porcelain Tourist.
- 1:54:32Speaker 3: That's pretty funny. Yeah, there's a ton of that, like
- 1:54:34Speaker 3: Kirkland stuff and make everything they make, that's the thing.
- 1:54:39Speaker 3: They make everything. There's a Kirkland. There's a Kirkland Nativity scene.
- 1:54:44Speaker 7: That's awesome.
- 1:54:45Speaker 3: I gotta see that. I mean, I know, for a
- 1:54:46Speaker 3: minute there like Kirkland was like kind of like a cool,
- 1:54:50Speaker 3: like kitchy. Yeah, Like people all were buying sweatshirts and
- 1:54:53Speaker 3: like the Kirkland brands, like the stuff that he looks
- 1:54:55Speaker 3: like you would get for free if you sign up
- 1:54:57Speaker 3: for their credit card. Well, there's a Kirkland Nike that's
- 1:55:00Speaker 3: dropping too, So that's what I'm saying, huh Yeah. But
- 1:55:03Speaker 3: also they have moved on straight up just Costco sweatshirts
- 1:55:07Speaker 3: that's just got released this year. All right, So what's
- 1:55:10Speaker 3: the worst holiday gift you ever got?
- 1:55:12Speaker 1: Worst gift ever given to me? Definitely has to be
- 1:55:15Speaker 1: some period pads my aunt gave me one Christmas. I
- 1:55:21Speaker 1: believe I was like thirteen fourteen, and I had to
- 1:55:25Speaker 1: open up the present in front of everybody. Oh, it
- 1:55:29Speaker 1: was so awkward, very very awkward. I then went into
- 1:55:34Speaker 1: the bathroom and cried.
- 1:55:36Speaker 3: Well, it's probably because of the period. You know, you're
- 1:55:38Speaker 3: very emotional. You're all emotion, extra of emotion, your tamping.
- 1:55:42Speaker 3: You're on the rag and stuff on the cod of
- 1:55:44Speaker 3: the tamps. Now you're tamping and peer it out. It's weird,
- 1:55:47Speaker 3: like the tamp holds so many things in, but so
- 1:55:49Speaker 3: many other things come out, like emotion, tears, tears. And
- 1:55:53Speaker 3: then what's the worst holiday gift you ever got? Number three? Hey,
- 1:55:57Speaker 3: what's up?
- 1:55:58Speaker 18: This is a sus from Los Angeles, And the worst
- 1:56:01Speaker 18: Christmas gift I have ever received was actually last Christmas
- 1:56:05Speaker 18: and I was gifted some ozampic. Yeah, pretty much saying
- 1:56:10Speaker 18: that all fat as hell and I need to lose
- 1:56:11Speaker 18: some weight. And I didn't know how to feel about that.
- 1:56:16Speaker 18: Definitely the worst Greg Look.
- 1:56:19Speaker 3: If you don't want you, yeah, you can regift that
- 1:56:22Speaker 3: to Greg, he would take that right now.
- 1:56:24Speaker 9: You not understand the question not the reliest present ever
- 1:56:29Speaker 9: a time?
- 1:56:31Speaker 3: That's all right, no, sir, The question was yeah were no, no, no, no, no.
- 1:56:36Speaker 3: I think you're misunderstood, conflated, worst with all time best.
- 1:56:40Speaker 3: Wait hold on, sir, wait now, hold on. Not a
- 1:56:43Speaker 3: gift of a miracle drive sammy vote.
- 1:56:48Speaker 8: I'm going to say the Nativity scene because he was Jewish?
- 1:56:51Speaker 3: Okay, uh menace. I'm going to say the the tampon
- 1:56:57Speaker 3: or tampoons, the tampoon one because just not because of
- 1:57:00Speaker 3: the gift, but the awkwardness of being around the field. Yeah,
- 1:57:04Speaker 3: and who gives that as a gift? Okay? Gifts are
- 1:57:06Speaker 3: typically supposed to be like something you wouldn't buy for yourself,
- 1:57:09Speaker 3: like something could be interested in but it wouldn't necessarily
- 1:57:11Speaker 3: buy for yourself. Is always the perfect gift. And you're
- 1:57:13Speaker 3: buying those in bulk, right, that's exactly DC. You can
- 1:57:17Speaker 3: get that in Kirkland size. Hell yeah, Greg, I'm going
- 1:57:22Speaker 3: period pads.
- 1:57:23Speaker 7: Tamps, one hundred percent period pads.
- 1:57:25Speaker 9: That poor girl interesting could be redifted tamps tamps today
- 1:57:29Speaker 9: is more fun than goner Rhea.
- 1:57:33Speaker 3: I mean, I've had gonere a few times, and I'd say,
- 1:57:36Speaker 3: I haven't had gone show. I was gonna do it
