Transcript
- 0:04In a quiet neighborhood, where peace once lived, something has returned.
- 0:13At first, it was just a hole.
- 0:17Some unnoticed, but not for long.
- 0:22One man One house
- 0:25And an unexpected enemy Hiding Just
- 0:30beneath the surface He thought
- 0:33it was over He thought He had it sealed But The ground had other plans Concrete
- 0:43was poured Confidence was high But somewhere A woodchuck Was just getting started it.
- 0:51This is not just a story about a hole.
- 0:54This is a battle. It's a battle of patience, persistence, and property lines.
- 1:02The war has just begun. Half-Faith, let it begin.
- 1:07Angel vs. the Woodchuck, Part 1, starts right now.
- 1:36Hello, everyone, and welcome back to Have Faith, Let It Begin.
- 1:39All right, so you know now that we're in part two.
- 1:43And if you heard part one, you already know I thought I won.
- 1:47I patched the hole. I got the concrete. I filled it. I stepped back.
- 1:52Like, yeah, this is it. We're done here. I'm walking back inside like a champion,
- 1:57feeling good, like I've just defended my home.
- 2:02Well, the next day, there's another hole.
- 2:06Not the same hole. No, no, no, no, no. This one is on the other side of the house.
- 2:12Now, at this point, I'm not even confused anymore. I'm offended.
- 2:17I'm offended because now it feels like this is not random. This is targeted.
- 2:23So I go outside and I'm looking at this new hole. And I'm trying to process what just happened.
- 2:30And out of nowhere, this little head just pops out. Just peeks.
- 2:36And I'm standing there like, did he just look at me? And then,
- 2:40I'm not even kidding, he dips back down and pops back up again.
- 2:44Like we're playing a game of peekaboo.
- 2:46At this point, I'm taking offense and I'm talking to him. Oh, we are playing now, huh?
- 2:55And that's what we're doing? Because the confidence, the confidence this woodchuck has.
- 3:02He wasn't scared and he wasn't nervous. He looked like he owned the place.
- 3:08And I'm standing there thinking, this woodchuck...
- 3:12This woodchuck knows exactly how to push my buttons. And it's funny as this
- 3:18is happening and this is, there's something real in this too, okay?
- 3:23So I'm like, okay, I'm dealing with this. I know I'm running an episode about
- 3:28it, but then I thought about this.
- 3:29There's a message here because sometimes in life, the thing that you thought
- 3:33you fixed comes back in a different way.
- 3:36And it tests your patience. It tests your reaction.
- 3:40It tests how you handle it. the second time around.
- 3:44And that's where faith comes in, not just in big moments, but even in the small
- 3:50ones, even the ones that make you laugh and shake your head at the same time.
- 3:57So all I could do at this point is just pray. And that's what we're going to
- 4:01do together. Let's pray. Heavenly Father, thank you for the moments.
- 4:05Thank you for the moments that remind us to slow down, to laugh,
- 4:10and to not let frustration take over.
- 4:13So I kindly ask you, Lord, to give us patience, wisdom, and maybe,
- 4:19oh boy, just maybe a strategy for dealing with this unexpected situation.
- 4:23In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
- 4:26So I put salt from my water softener down this hole.
- 4:32I figured, well, if the concrete is on one side, let's try some salt.
- 4:36I'll let you know how that goes.
- 4:39Next episode will be on Wednesday, and I thought it had it under control.
- 4:46Everything was sealed, salted, everything was quiet, and then the biggest hole yet shows up at the shed.
- 4:58Yeah, this is definitely not over. Part three, coming up.
- 5:03Have faith, let it begin. Boy, is my blood pressure up.
