- 1:00Speaker 6: Oh man, it is another day, another dollar, or another
- 1:04Speaker 6: dime in my opinion. Good afternoon and welcome to Chris
- 1:09Speaker 6: X Radio. I am the aforementioned X-Man, glad to have
- 1:12Speaker 6: you here with us as we have once again assumed
- 1:14Speaker 6: control of the broadcast and we intend to maintain control
- 1:19Speaker 6: of this broadcast. For the next two hours, we control everything.
- 1:23Speaker 6: Please do not adjust your radio dial. We are locked
- 1:27Speaker 6: in and loaded here for the next two hours as
- 1:30Speaker 6: we bring you that gift beyond price that is almost free,
- 1:33Speaker 6: ladies and gentlemen. We bring you the spirit of talk radio. And, yeah,
- 1:38Speaker 6: we got a lot going on today. We'll be joined
- 1:40Speaker 6: here at the bottom of the hour by Jonathan Saenz,
- 1:43Speaker 6: the president of Texas Values. We'll be talking a little
- 1:46Speaker 6: bit about the Ken Paxton-James Tallarico race. The Texas Values
- 1:53Speaker 6: has endorsed Ken Paxton. So we'll talk to him about that.
- 1:57Speaker 6: It is also our Taco Two for Tuesday. Or is
- 2:00Speaker 6: it Two for Taco Tuesday? Cash, which one is it?
- 2:03Speaker 6: Which one do we go with? You are correct. Thanks
- 2:08Speaker 6: for the help.
- 2:09Speaker 7: You're welcome.
- 2:09Speaker 6: Thanks, partner. As far as I'm concerned, I hope sometime
- 2:13Speaker 6: next week you're on a moon base somewhere. That's all
- 2:15Speaker 6: I'm saying. Just take that for what you owe. Okay,
- 2:20Speaker 6: then I'm going with Two for Taco Tuesday.
- 2:23Speaker 3: Really, though?
- 2:23Speaker 6: Or Taco Two for Tuesday.
- 2:24Speaker 8: Okay.
- 2:25Speaker 6: Okay, maybe Taco 2 for Tuesday.
- 2:27Speaker 9: If you think that's right.
- 2:30Speaker 6: Man, I'm being gaslit by my own producer. That's weird. Anyhow,
- 2:36Speaker 6: it is Taco Tuesday. It is also 2 for Tuesday,
- 2:39Speaker 6: which means we'll try to have a little fun here
- 2:41Speaker 6: on the program, but also we've got some serious business
- 2:44Speaker 6: to get to. This is the last week of early voting.
- 2:47Speaker 6: It continues today through Friday, which is October the 30th,
- 2:50Speaker 6: the day before Halloween. 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. If
- 2:54Speaker 6: you want to get out and vote, you have time
- 2:56Speaker 6: to do so. I encourage you to get out and
- 2:58Speaker 6: do that. Election Day is Tuesday, November 3rd, from 7 a.m.
- 3:01Speaker 6: to 7 p.m. If you're in Harris County, harrisvotes.com, you
- 3:05Speaker 6: can go download your sample ballot. As of yesterday, I
- 3:09Speaker 6: was still talking with people who were getting out and voting,
- 3:11Speaker 6: and some places still had long lines. We're breaking all
- 3:16Speaker 6: kinds of early voting records in this election cycle, which I.
- 3:22Speaker 6: It is so hard to know exactly what's happening. I've
- 3:26Speaker 6: talked to some people who think Texas, we're going to
- 3:28Speaker 6: be just fine overall in Texas. I've talked to people
- 3:30Speaker 6: in Harris County who are just freaked out, say it's
- 3:32Speaker 6: the end of the world in Harris County. Republicans are
- 3:34Speaker 6: doing very poorly. And then there was one... I'll get
- 3:44Speaker 6: to this article as we get going here in a bit.
- 3:47Speaker 10: But.
- 3:52Speaker 6: It was an article basically saying that early voting in
- 3:56Speaker 6: Texas is up about 50 percent. I believe that since 2022.
- 3:59Speaker 6: So we get lots of new voters, lots of people
- 4:01Speaker 6: getting out, turn out lots of early voters. But then
- 4:04Speaker 6: one of the experts they talked to in the article,
- 4:06Speaker 6: which was from was from Newsmax by the Texas Tribune.
- 4:11Speaker 6: One of the experts was stating that Republicans always win
- 4:14Speaker 6: early voting. I'm like, what they do now. This is
- 4:18Speaker 6: news to me, a guy who's been studying politics for
- 4:20Speaker 6: 20 years. Early voting tends to go to the Democrats.
- 4:24Speaker 6: I don't know if the article just misreported it or
- 4:27Speaker 6: they said it, but or I'm somehow missing these numbers.
- 4:31Speaker 6: But nonetheless, turnout has been pretty big on both sides
- 4:34Speaker 6: in the obviously the Democrat counties. The Democrats are turning
- 4:39Speaker 6: out clearly more, but a lot of Republicans have turned
- 4:41Speaker 6: out as well. So I am I going to be
- 4:44Speaker 6: one of these guys? I hear people predicting this is
- 4:46Speaker 6: a red wave. I don't I just don't see that.
- 4:50Speaker 6: Historically speaking, that never happens when the power of the
- 4:55Speaker 6: party in control, you know, the party who has control.
- 4:58Speaker 6: They never generally sweep a, you know, a midterm like this.
- 5:03Speaker 6: And Democrats are fired up and with the cost of things, which,
- 5:05Speaker 6: by the way. U.S. consumer confidence has recovered a bit
- 5:09Speaker 6: in October as gas prices have eased off. I've noticed
- 5:12Speaker 6: that as well. But is it enough? I had lunch
- 5:15Speaker 6: with a friend today, and my friend, she's a political consultant,
- 5:19Speaker 6: and she said, man, what she's seeing at some of
- 5:21Speaker 6: the places, some good turnout in some cases, but in others,
- 5:24Speaker 6: she said, people are turning out, they're voting, and they're pissed.
- 5:27Speaker 6: She said, they're Democrats, and they're angry. They don't want it.
- 5:29Speaker 6: She's a conservative Republican. But she says these Democrats are
- 5:33Speaker 6: angry and they don't want to talk to anyone. They
- 5:35Speaker 6: just want to go vote for Democrats. The enthusiasm for
- 5:40Speaker 6: Democrats to vote is very high. Republicans, not as much.
- 5:46Speaker 6: You've got all the negative Ken Paxton sentiment and all
- 5:48Speaker 6: that going on. But there is a lot going on
- 5:51Speaker 6: and we'll get into as much of it as we
- 5:53Speaker 6: can here later. But once again, did you get out
- 5:57Speaker 6: and vote, early vote today? Anybody early vote? If you
- 5:59Speaker 6: want to join us here in the first or second segment, 281-558-KSCV.
- 6:03Speaker 6: Here at the bottom of the hour, we'll talk with
- 6:05Speaker 6: Jonathan Saenz, the president of Texas Values. That's a nonprofit
- 6:11Speaker 6: dedicated to preserving family values here in Texas. Just went
- 6:14Speaker 6: to the Faith Fest last month, and it was a
- 6:17Speaker 6: fantastic event. But Texas Values is a great organization, and
- 6:23Speaker 6: they're a nonprofit. So anytime I get a chance to
- 6:25Speaker 6: talk with Jonathan Saenz, I'm always happy to talk with him.
- 6:28Speaker 6: So I'm looking forward to that coming up. The Department
- 6:35Speaker 6: of Justice has charged former FBI Director James Comey for
- 6:38Speaker 6: a third time now. alleging that he leaked sensitive national
- 6:43Speaker 6: security document to the New York Times in October of 2016.
- 6:50Speaker 6: Ten years ago. We'll get into this, which I have
- 6:59Speaker 6: no doubt that he did. But will anything happen to him? Well,
- 7:04Speaker 6: we'll see. Because we're coming up on the statute of limitations,
- 7:07Speaker 6: which is why they filed it literally on the last day.
- 7:10Speaker 6: I'm like, what? Okay, we'll get to that. President Trump
- 7:14Speaker 6: has said that he would provide $ 1 million to anyone
- 7:17Speaker 6: who can report any instances of voter fraud that lead
- 7:21Speaker 6: to an arrest or conviction. Said anybody reporting voter fraud
- 7:28Speaker 6: in the past elections or the upcoming midterm election will
- 7:32Speaker 6: be paid $ 1 million upon the arrest and conviction of
- 7:36Speaker 6: those that created the fraud. Hmm. Okay. I'm also going
- 7:43Speaker 6: to be issuing a million dollar bonus or reward or
- 7:46Speaker 6: whatever you want to call it for anybody that reports
- 7:49Speaker 6: voter fraud leading to the arrest and conviction of somebody.
- 7:53Speaker 6: Trump said that yesterday. We're giving that person a million dollars, okay?
- 8:00Speaker 6: Get cash rewards. We're going to encourage members of the
- 8:02Speaker 6: public to provide law enforcement with the information to solve
- 8:07Speaker 6: crimes and locate fugitives. We're learning that there's a lot
- 8:10Speaker 6: of voter fraud. The Democrats have pretended as though it
- 8:13Speaker 6: didn't exist. And now they've shifted that pretending to it
- 8:16Speaker 6: only rarely happens to each time more voter fraud is discovered.
- 8:20Speaker 6: And once again, there's been. Really no incentive for people
- 8:25Speaker 6: just to turn them in, other than the fact that
- 8:27Speaker 6: you want what's right, and Lord knows, in society today,
- 8:30Speaker 6: that is not necessarily the case. So we can get
- 8:34Speaker 6: into that. Interesting story from FrontPageMag.com. Representative Ilhan Omar, her
- 8:43Speaker 6: memoir shows that she lied about her birthday and committed
- 8:46Speaker 6: immigration fraud. Her staff had changed her birth date. for
- 8:53Speaker 6: legal plausibility, for her legal status, but no one bothered
- 8:57Speaker 6: fixing her memoir. So we'll get into that. The FBI
- 9:01Speaker 6: has also raided a Beverly Hills mansion as part of
- 9:05Speaker 6: the investigation into Eric Swalwell. Federal authorities raided a California
- 9:10Speaker 6: mansion belonging to billionaire Stephen Klubeck. Early this morning, this
- 9:17Speaker 6: is from Fox News, they're targeting his mansion in connection
- 9:20Speaker 6: with an investigation into disgraced former representative Eric Swalwell. So
- 9:26Speaker 6: now here's my question. This guy had been funding Swalwell's
- 9:29Speaker 6: political campaigns forever. Was he a bad billionaire or is
- 9:31Speaker 6: he a good one? Someone should ask James Tallarico. Is
- 9:35Speaker 6: he bad or is he good? I'm confused. I would
- 9:38Speaker 6: really like to know. Is he a good billionaire or
- 9:41Speaker 6: is he a bad billionaire? And as I mentioned earlier,
- 9:47Speaker 6: early voting in Texas is up about 50 percent compared
- 9:51Speaker 6: to the same point in the 2022 midterm elections, with
- 9:55Speaker 6: particularly strong participation among voters with Democrat primary histories. That
- 10:00Speaker 6: is what people are going to measure things by. It
- 10:02Speaker 6: is so difficult. At this point during the Trumpocalypse, Trump
- 10:07Speaker 6: voters are the hardest ones in the world to measure
- 10:09Speaker 6: because they're not necessarily Republicans and they're not necessarily Democrats.
- 10:15Speaker 6: And we have seen that occasionally they're weirdos. And you say, well,
- 10:20Speaker 6: what do you mean, Chris? No, Tucker Carlson is a weirdo.
- 10:26Speaker 6: Some of these weirdos in podcast stand, some of those weirdos,
- 10:30Speaker 6: and then there are also just some regular weirdos, but
- 10:33Speaker 6: they're not traditional Republican or Democrat voters. Now, are enough
- 10:37Speaker 6: of them turning out?
- 10:38Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 10:40Speaker 6: But there's a lot of people. turning out here for
- 10:43Speaker 6: early voting. And this story is going to be really
- 10:46Speaker 6: interesting to see what happens between now and it's so
- 10:49Speaker 6: close to the election. I think the Trump administration, I
- 10:54Speaker 6: do believe, probably sort of botched this. They should have
- 10:57Speaker 6: done things, I guess, who knows. There are a lot
- 11:00Speaker 6: of things that come into play with this stuff like this.
- 11:02Speaker 6: But U.S. consumer confidence has recovered a bit in October
- 11:05Speaker 6: as gas prices have eased. American confidence in the economy
- 11:10Speaker 6: rebounded somewhat in October as gas prices fell modestly, though
- 11:15Speaker 6: it remains still a lot more expensive to fill up
- 11:17Speaker 6: your tank than it was at this time last year.
- 11:21Speaker 6: The conference board said today that consumer confidence index rose 7.5
- 11:24Speaker 6: points to 91.7 in October from 84.2 last month.
- 11:26Speaker 12: Okay.
- 11:26Speaker 4: Okay.
- 11:33Speaker 6: Well, September's reading was the lowest in the board survey
- 11:36Speaker 6: since April of 2014 and below the lowest level reached
- 11:39Speaker 6: during the pandemic. Yet Americans remain flustered by the economy
- 11:44Speaker 6: after five years of elevated inflation. Huh. Who was president
- 11:49Speaker 6: when that now potentially posing a risk to Republicans here
- 11:53Speaker 6: in the midterm next Tuesday? Respondents view their present situation
- 11:57Speaker 6: rose by six point nine points, 72.6, while their short
- 12:01Speaker 6: term outlook climbed eight point six points to one hundred
- 12:04Speaker 6: and twenty point four. The recovery was in line with
- 12:08Speaker 6: retail gasoline prices easing from September to October. said Fergus McCormick. Well,
- 12:15Speaker 6: that sounds like a very Irish name. I am Fergus McCormick,
- 12:19Speaker 6: a senior economist to the conference board. That may be
- 12:24Speaker 6: the worst Irish accent I've ever done. Usually I do
- 12:27Speaker 6: pretty well. Yet despite the increase in October... Now sounds Scottish.
- 12:33Speaker 6: Consumer confidence remained on the long-term downward trend that's persisted
- 12:37Speaker 6: over the past few years. According to the Auto Club AAA,
- 12:41Speaker 6: the average price for a gallon of regular gas in
- 12:44Speaker 6: the U.S. went from $ 4. 27 on Tuesday, is now went
- 12:46Speaker 6: down from $ 4. 48 a month ago. So it has come
- 12:48Speaker 6: down here, what, about 21 cents? Last year at this time,
- 12:57Speaker 6: a gallon of regular in the U.S. averaged $ 3. 05, which
- 13:03Speaker 6: makes it very hard for Republicans to campaign on the
- 13:06Speaker 6: economy when it costs so much for them to put
- 13:08Speaker 6: gas in their tank. Now, really, that's not a big thing,
- 13:12Speaker 6: but we're seeing it all through society. But it does.
- 13:15Speaker 6: It affects people directly every time they fill up their
- 13:17Speaker 6: tank and every time you go look. Here in Houston,
- 13:20Speaker 6: I'm seeing gas prices around $ 3. 45 a gallon. But Or
- 13:26Speaker 6: in Houston. It's not so bad here. Now, of course,
- 13:29Speaker 6: I've seen $ 3. 99. You get around the Beltway and some
- 13:32Speaker 6: of the high-traffic areas, it's a whole lot more expensive.
- 13:36Speaker 6: But I saw multiple places between right around $ 3. 45 a gallon,
- 13:41Speaker 6: which I'm glad it's coming down. About time for me
- 13:43Speaker 6: to fill up my tank again. And I look at
- 13:46Speaker 6: it every single time. It's so weird looking at the
- 13:49Speaker 6: price of gas since I purchased my truck seven years
- 13:54Speaker 6: ago now. So as I purchased it seven years ago,
- 13:59Speaker 6: the cost of what it costs to fill my tank
- 14:02Speaker 6: up to what it is now. And once again, it's down.
- 14:04Speaker 6: It's down from what it was during the Biden hole.
- 14:07Speaker 6: That's right. It got far more expensive during the Biden
- 14:09Speaker 6: administration than it ever did during the Trump administration. But
- 14:12Speaker 6: that is a dubious honor when you go, well, it's
- 14:15Speaker 6: not as bad as Joe Biden. So what are you saying?
- 14:19Speaker 6: We get suck or suck less? And that is just
- 14:22Speaker 6: not a really good message to campaign upon. But it
- 14:26Speaker 6: does seem to be getting better. And it's really hard
- 14:28Speaker 6: to tell voters, keep voting for us because it's going
- 14:31Speaker 6: to be so much better here very soon. That just
- 14:35Speaker 6: generally does not resonate well with the American people. And then, unfortunately,
- 14:41Speaker 6: they will vote for the Marxist because that's the alternative.
- 14:46Speaker 6: who will make it more expensive, literally everything, those who
- 14:49Speaker 6: jacked up your cost of everything, yeah, I got a
- 14:52Speaker 6: great idea. Let's put them back in charge. Trust me,
- 14:54Speaker 6: I'm one of those more, I'll just say, type of
- 14:58Speaker 6: voters that will vote for suck less every single time,
- 15:01Speaker 6: not even think twice about it, not even hesitate, and
- 15:03Speaker 6: not even worry about it for a second. Because I
- 15:06Speaker 6: know suck less is always better than suck more, and
- 15:09Speaker 6: nothing sucks more than modern-day Democrats. You like that, Cash?
- 15:16Speaker 6: Does that mean my slogan? Nothing sucks more than modern-day Democrats.
- 15:23Speaker 9: I'd end up on the Internet soon.
- 15:26Speaker 6: It is very possible. All right, you're listening to Chris
- 15:29Speaker 6: X Radio. We're just getting started. You may be watching
- 15:31Speaker 6: the video. We're streaming the video over on Rumble and YouTube,
- 15:36Speaker 6: Twitter X and Facebook. I do believe we're on all
- 15:40Speaker 6: the avenues. Are we on everything, Cash?
- 15:42Speaker 2: Yes, sir.
- 15:43Speaker 6: All right, you said so. We've got our main man, Phil.
- 15:47Speaker 6: He's handling the video. So if you want to check
- 15:50Speaker 6: that out, you can catch it at KSEV Radio on
- 15:53Speaker 6: any of those platforms. All right, we'll take a short break.
- 15:55Speaker 6: We'll come back. We've got to hit a couple of things,
- 15:57Speaker 6: and then we'll catch up with our guest at the
- 15:58Speaker 6: bottom of the hour, Jonathan Saenz with President of the
- 16:02Speaker 6: Texas Values. So we'll be right back. Don't you go anywhere.
- 16:10Speaker 3: Chris X Radio. Texas born, Texas raised. The Voice of Texas.
- 16:16Speaker 13: This is Senator Paul Betancourt asking for your vote for

- 16:27Speaker 13: businessman and engineer who gets the job done in Austin.
- 16:30Speaker 6: Vote for Dennis Paul.
- 16:32Speaker 7: Thanks, Paul. We'll fight to cut property taxes, lower insurance costs,
- 16:36Speaker 7: and work on regional flood control in the Texas Senate.

- 17:01Speaker 14: your family on your work group plan? Are you going

- 17:06Speaker 6: Your search is over. Listen to your pal Chris Salcedo.

- 18:15Speaker 18: Huzzah!
- 18:17Speaker 19: Harris County just passed one of the highest property tax
- 18:20Speaker 19: increases in history.
- 18:21Speaker 6: Hi, this is Steve Drake.
- 18:22Speaker 19: That's why I'm supporting Orlando Sanchez for county judge.
- 18:25Speaker 20: As a Houston City Council member, I helped cut property
- 18:28Speaker 20: taxes for the first time in decades. As county treasurer
- 18:31Speaker 20: for 12 years, we balanced the books and protected taxpayers.
- 18:35Speaker 20: I'll cut the tax rate in my first budget, root
- 18:37Speaker 20: out waste, and put families first.
- 18:39Speaker 19: Vote for Orlando Sanchez for Harris County judge.
- 18:42Speaker 21: Political ad paid for by the Orlando Sanchez campaign.
- 18:48Speaker 22: I'm Pastor Brandon Myers. Sometimes a wolf appears in sheep's clothing.
- 18:53Speaker 22: Let's give James Tallarico a Bible study. Tallarico claims there
- 18:57Speaker 22: are six genders, but Genesis 127 says he created them
- 19:01Speaker 22: male and female. Tallarico claims God is both masculine and
- 19:05Speaker 22: feminine and everything in between. But in Luke 11-2, Jesus
- 19:09Speaker 22: teaches his disciples how to pray to his Father. Tallarico
- 19:12Speaker 22: claims he has learned much about his faith from Islamic mystics.
- 19:16Speaker 22: But in John 14, 6, Jesus says, no one comes
- 19:20Speaker 22: to the Father but through me.
- 19:21Speaker 6: Mr.
- 19:22Speaker 22: Tallarico, either Christianity is true or it isn't. Either Jesus
- 19:27Speaker 22: was a sinless person who died on the cross to
- 19:30Speaker 22: pay the penalty for our sins and rose from the dead,
- 19:33Speaker 22: or he wasn't. This is what Christians believe.
- 19:38Speaker 6: Beware of wolves.
- 19:40Speaker 10: Paid for by the One Nation Under God Foundation, a
- 19:43Speaker 10: tax-exempt 501c3 committee.
- 19:46Speaker 3: The Voice of Texas. The Voice of Reason. Chris X Radio.
- 20:10Speaker 6: Well, I guess we got the first million-dollar winner for
- 20:12Speaker 6: the fraud. Captain Jack sent me an email. He said,
- 20:17Speaker 6: I'm reporting Grisak for immigration fraud. Where's my check? Cash,
- 20:26Speaker 6: can you explain to me how I've committed immigration fraud?
- 20:30Speaker 9: I thought the checks were for voter fraud.
- 20:33Speaker 6: I think it is. I'm not... This is Captain Jack.
- 20:37Speaker 6: Once again, my response to him was, how did I
- 20:38Speaker 6: commit immigration fraud? He said, you're committing crimes against humanity
- 20:42Speaker 6: with AOC. So there you go. A little jousting here
- 20:50Speaker 6: as we head off into the Renaissance Festival season. Cash,
- 20:55Speaker 6: are you going to go to the Renaissance Festival this year?
- 20:57Speaker 9: I'm thinking about it.
- 20:59Speaker 6: You know, I didn't go last year. But I did
- 21:02Speaker 6: go the previous couple of years after not attending for
- 21:05Speaker 6: literally about 25, 26, 27 years. So I remember going
- 21:10Speaker 6: with my dad back in the early, in the 90s.
- 21:13Speaker 6: I believe it was the early 90s. Well, that just
- 21:16Speaker 6: wasn't with my dad. It was my dad and some friends,
- 21:17Speaker 6: my girlfriend at the time. We went, had a great time.
- 21:20Speaker 6: It was fun. And then I didn't go for a
- 21:22Speaker 6: really long time. It was weird. It was like when
- 21:26Speaker 6: I went off to college and was playing in bands
- 21:28Speaker 6: because weekends, that's when you're working. I sort of lost.
- 21:32Speaker 6: I know I worked in the optical industry, which generally
- 21:34Speaker 6: was on Saturdays as well. So I sorted. I know
- 21:37Speaker 6: the Renaissance Festival goes on Sunday, but it was just weird.
- 21:40Speaker 6: I didn't go for a very long time. And then
- 21:42Speaker 6: I went back a couple of years ago, probably three
- 21:44Speaker 6: years ago now, I guess. And it was a lot
- 21:48Speaker 6: bigger than I remember. There's a lot more things, but
- 21:50Speaker 6: I really enjoyed it. I think it's great. So I
- 21:52Speaker 6: may go this year. I imagine a lot of people
- 21:55Speaker 6: will be going. I watched that documentary. Did you ever
- 21:58Speaker 6: watch the documentary about the King of the Renaissance Festival on,
- 22:02Speaker 6: was it Netflix, Cash?
- 22:04Speaker 9: I didn't see it, but somebody gave me a blow-by-blow
- 22:07Speaker 9: when it was coming out.
- 22:09Speaker 6: Yeah, I watched it. And then what's weird was, after,
- 22:14Speaker 6: you know, it was only a few, it was like
- 22:17Speaker 6: a couple episodes, I guess. And then the very next year...
- 22:23Speaker 6: the guy, the King, he's also the guy that created
- 22:25Speaker 6: the little city over there. And he's the mayor of
- 22:28Speaker 6: that town. It was very weird, dude. Um, he ended
- 22:31Speaker 6: up dying. He was older. I think it was like
- 22:33Speaker 6: 87 years old, but he was a very strange dude.
- 22:36Speaker 6: He was, he was flying young ladies into town for the,
- 22:40Speaker 6: to be, it wasn't like he was doing anything nefarious
- 22:42Speaker 6: with them, but he was released, not in the documentary.
- 22:45Speaker 6: He wasn't, uh, but he was bringing in these women
- 22:47Speaker 6: that he wanted to, to date and share his life with.
- 22:50Speaker 6: And this guy was like in his mid to late eighties,
- 22:52Speaker 6: I guess. And he was like, I don't want any
- 22:55Speaker 6: tattoos or piercings or any of that weird stuff. And
- 22:59Speaker 6: so it was very bizarre. But this guy, he was
- 23:01Speaker 6: a strange cat. Anyway, he was considered the king. He was, well,
- 23:04Speaker 6: I guess the original king of the Renaissance Festival. But
- 23:07Speaker 6: he was the one who sort of brought in a
- 23:08Speaker 6: lot of the entertainment aspect of it and ran it
- 23:11Speaker 6: sort of with an iron fist and was eternally trying
- 23:14Speaker 6: to sell it. And then something happened with the year
- 23:17Speaker 6: after the documentary ended. Whereas he was trying to sell
- 23:20Speaker 6: it and then sold it and then got some money
- 23:23Speaker 6: but then decided he was reneging on the sale. Something
- 23:26Speaker 6: happened and then he, I do believe, I think he
- 23:28Speaker 6: committed suicide. Which is weird because if you get a chance,
- 23:35Speaker 6: I would say feel free to watch that one. You'll
- 23:37Speaker 6: see what an odd guy is. But you also get
- 23:39Speaker 6: a sort of behind-the-scenes look at the Renaissance Festival. Which is,
- 23:43Speaker 6: you know, anytime you peek behind the curtain, it's never
- 23:45Speaker 6: quite as good as it is when you're just going
- 23:49Speaker 6: and being entertained. But I encourage you to go check
- 23:52Speaker 6: it out and watch that and to be entertained.
- 23:55Speaker 1: All right.
- 23:55Speaker 6: Anyway, well, I just wasted that entire segment. We need
- 23:58Speaker 6: to take a break. We're going to come back. We're
- 23:59Speaker 6: going to catch up with our guest, Jonathan Saenz. He's
- 24:02Speaker 6: the president of Texas Values. They're a nonprofit dedicated to
- 24:05Speaker 6: preserving family values here in Texas. One of the latest
- 24:09Speaker 6: articles over at txvaluesaction.org. is they're endorsing Ken Paxton for
- 24:16Speaker 6: the Senate, which seems to be a no-brainer compared to
- 24:20Speaker 6: what you get with the Tallarico. We'll talk with Jonathan
- 24:23Speaker 6: Saenz there on the other side of the break. You're
- 24:25Speaker 6: listening to Chris X Radio. Don't you go anywhere. We'll
- 24:28Speaker 6: be right back with the president of Texas Values, Jonathan Saenz.
- 24:36Speaker 3: Chris X Radio.
- 24:39Speaker 2: Radio.
- 24:41Speaker 23: For many years, the Pine Box has been helping families
- 24:44Speaker 23: gain insight into the often confusing and extremely expensive task
- 24:48Speaker 23: of arranging a loved one's funeral. I have worked with
- 24:51Speaker 23: Pine Box in the death of two family members because
- 24:54Speaker 23: I know I can trust Chip Beresford at the Pine Box.
- 24:58Speaker 6: He's the owner. To be sure that he.
- 24:59Speaker 23: Walks me through that process and that I am prepared
- 25:04Speaker 23: for the funeral and that I get the quality I
- 25:07Speaker 23: seek without breaking the budget.
- 25:10Speaker 6: Because it's a very difficult thing.
- 25:12Speaker 23: No one wants to feel like a cheapskate handling a
- 25:15Speaker 23: funeral of a loved one, but you also can't afford
- 25:17Speaker 23: to go broke either. You know, funerals are statistically the
- 25:20Speaker 23: third largest expense in someone's life. The Pine Box sells
- 25:23Speaker 23: the same caskets and funeral merchandise that is offered at
- 25:26Speaker 23: funeral homes, but at a tremendous savings, and delivery is
- 25:29Speaker 23: immediate and free within the Houston area. Visit their website, thepinebox.com,
- 25:33Speaker 23: or call Chip directly at 1-888-PINE-BOX. That's 1-888-PINE-BOX. I trusted them,
- 25:38Speaker 23: and you can. The Pine Box.
- 25:40Speaker 6: Mike Schofield, working for us.
- 25:42Speaker 8: I believe qualified students applying for good paying jobs after
- 25:46Speaker 8: graduation should have real opportunities. We dedicated over $ 150 million
- 25:52Speaker 8: to expand technical education programs across Texas. We need to
- 25:55Speaker 8: keep working to help our public school students and teachers.
- 25:59Speaker 8: I champion legislation that provides pay raises for public school librarians, counselors, nurses,
- 26:04Speaker 8: and teachers who take on harder teaching jobs. I'm Mike Schofield,
- 26:08Speaker 8: and I will always keep you and your family first.
- 26:11Speaker 8: As your state representative, I voted to protect our children
- 26:14Speaker 8: online by limiting what social media companies can expose your
- 26:18Speaker 8: kids to. We passed AI regulations including banning behavioral manipulation,
- 26:23Speaker 8: social scoring, and deep fakes, preventing sexual predators and big
- 26:27Speaker 8: tech from preying on our innocent kids. It's important we
- 26:30Speaker 8: stay vigilant to protect our families and especially our kids
- 26:34Speaker 8: from the criminals that are lurking on the internet. Early
- 26:36Speaker 8: voting is going on now. Paid political ad, Mike Schofield campaign.
- 26:40Speaker 24: You know, where we go in life matters and what
- 26:43Speaker 24: we do matters. And we know that taking the wrong
- 26:45Speaker 24: road won't produce the best outcomes. Hi, I'm Kathy with
- 26:49Speaker 24: Baker Mortgage. and we want you to take the right
- 26:52Speaker 24: path when it comes to your mortgage. You know, we
- 26:54Speaker 24: live in a world of information overload, but always consider
- 26:57Speaker 24: the source, and these are not generally going to be
- 27:00Speaker 24: from your big bank or a random offer that comes
- 27:02Speaker 24: across your screen. Remember, you're always going to get a
- 27:05Speaker 24: better deal on one that you go looking for than
- 27:08Speaker 24: one that comes looking for you. You need to deal
- 27:10Speaker 24: with somebody who gives a you-know-what, whether or not you're
- 27:13Speaker 24: happy in the end. At Baker Mortgage, we do it right.
- 27:16Speaker 24: We haven't been around for 68 years because we're lucky.
- 27:20Speaker 24: We don't sell CDs, insurance, or anything else. We just
- 27:24Speaker 24: provide a great mortgage experience. Isn't that what you're looking for?
- 27:28Speaker 24: Call us at Baker Mortgage. I promise you'll be glad
- 27:30Speaker 24: you did. We're at 281-313-MOVE or go directly to bakermortgage.com.

- 27:40Speaker 1: From the KSEV Weather Center, tonight will be mostly cloudy
- 27:43Speaker 1: with a low of 66. Tomorrow, expect sunshine filtered by
- 27:47Speaker 1: passing clouds and a high of 83. Tomorrow night will
- 27:49Speaker 1: be mainly clear with a low of 64. On Thursday,
- 27:52Speaker 1: look for sun along with the areas of high clouds
- 27:55Speaker 1: reaching a high of 84. Friday will bring mostly cloudy
- 27:58Speaker 1: conditions with a passing shower and a high of 81.
- 28:00Speaker 1: Saturday we'll see shifting clouds and sun accompanied by a
- 28:03Speaker 1: couple of showers and a thunderstorm with a high of 83.
- 28:06Speaker 1: With the KSCV Weather Center forecast, I'm AccuWeather Meteorologist Jason Catarina.
- 28:15Speaker 3: Chris X Radio.
- 28:31Speaker 6: Welcome back to Chris X Radio. It is time to
- 28:33Speaker 6: catch up with our guest, Jonathan Saenz. He's the president
- 28:36Speaker 6: of Texas Values. They're a nonprofit dedicated to preserving family
- 28:40Speaker 6: values right here in Texas. We need more organizations just
- 28:44Speaker 6: like theirs. Always good to catch up with Jonathan Saenz. Jonathan,
- 28:47Speaker 6: thank you for being here this afternoon. Glad to have
- 28:49Speaker 6: you back on the program.
- 28:51Speaker 25: Great to be with you, Chris. And it was nice
- 28:53Speaker 25: having you at our event here in the Austin area,
- 28:55Speaker 25: Central Texas, back in September.
- 28:58Speaker 6: Oh, man, the Faith Fest is always a great time.
- 29:00Speaker 6: I got a lot of great interviews, played them all
- 29:02Speaker 6: back the following week and a half. So we had
- 29:05Speaker 6: a great time. I got to see a little bit
- 29:08Speaker 6: of you up on stage with Brandon Gill, which was
- 29:10Speaker 6: really good and interesting. But you had a lot of
- 29:13Speaker 6: good presentations at that event. You do every year.
- 29:15Speaker 25: Well, I appreciate that. And look, a lot of it
- 29:18Speaker 25: is trying to help people get prepared for this election
- 29:22Speaker 25: cycle and the upcoming legislative session. There is so much
- 29:25Speaker 25: on the line. We had a lot of great elected
- 29:27Speaker 25: officials there at the state and federal level. But when
- 29:30Speaker 25: you look at the ballot up and down, I mean,
- 29:32Speaker 25: these are some of the most important positions for our state.
- 29:36Speaker 25: And so I hope people don't take these midterm elections
- 29:38Speaker 25: for granted. You know, President Trump's going to be down
- 29:40Speaker 25: at Corpus today. I heard he's got Johnny Manziel for
- 29:43Speaker 25: all those Aggies out there. He's got Colt McCoy touring
- 29:47Speaker 25: with him, the great Longhorn football quarterback from a few
- 29:52Speaker 25: years back. And so there's a lot of attention around
- 29:55Speaker 25: Texas right now in this midterm election.
- 29:58Speaker 6: Well, you're right on. I know he was doing the
- 30:00Speaker 6: rally in Lubbock today, I do believe, and then, of course,
- 30:04Speaker 6: down in Corpus Christi, which I heard we're getting, what
- 30:06Speaker 6: is it, a million barrels of oil from Venezuela, which
- 30:09Speaker 6: is why he's down in that area. So President Trump
- 30:11Speaker 6: seems to be trying to do his part, but I
- 30:13Speaker 6: think the point that you made is the most salient,
- 30:16Speaker 6: is how important these elections are. Because especially if you're
- 30:19Speaker 6: looking at a Texas, you know, Senate race for the U.S. Senate,
- 30:22Speaker 6: we're talking six-year terms. That is a long time to
- 30:25Speaker 6: be stuck with a mistake. And, like I said, I'm
- 30:28Speaker 6: glad you guys are covering this. And, of course, I'd
- 30:30Speaker 6: like to make sure people are aware of this. There's
- 30:33Speaker 6: a great article out today talking about who you guys
- 30:35Speaker 6: are endorsing. In fact, I'd like to cover some of
- 30:37Speaker 6: that on the program.
- 30:39Speaker 8: Yep.
- 30:40Speaker 26: Let's do it.
- 30:41Speaker 6: Yeah, the article is basically it's Ken Paxton reverses a reversal.
- 30:46Speaker 6: Texas values action recommends Paxton for the Senate over the
- 30:50Speaker 6: 2026 midterm election endorsements. Not to sound like a down
- 30:55Speaker 6: or anything, but I'm kind of like, well, der. I mean,
- 30:57Speaker 6: of course, I would take Ken Paxton over a James Tallarico.
- 31:01Speaker 6: But there's a lot of thought and a lot that
- 31:02Speaker 6: goes into this. Tell me what sort of transpired up
- 31:05Speaker 6: to this point and a little bit about what's happening
- 31:07Speaker 6: with Texas values.
- 31:09Speaker 25: Yeah, I mean, look, we've got a few days left
- 31:11Speaker 25: of early voting and then the main election day on
- 31:13Speaker 25: November 3rd. But there are still a lot of people
- 31:15Speaker 25: that haven't voted. There's still a lot of people that
- 31:17Speaker 25: are not sure what they're going to do. There's people
- 31:19Speaker 25: that used to like Paxton but don't always think so
- 31:23Speaker 25: highly of him now because of a lot of stuff
- 31:24Speaker 25: in his personal life. There's a lot of hesitation in
- 31:27Speaker 25: some of these elections. And so we wanted people to
- 31:30Speaker 25: know where we stand on the issue. We had concerns
- 31:32Speaker 25: about Ken Paxton last year as well during the Republican primary.
- 31:36Speaker 25: But just like anybody else, we're at a different phase
- 31:38Speaker 25: in the elections. You've now got a clear difference between
- 31:41Speaker 25: these two candidates. It's not about personality. It's about policy
- 31:44Speaker 25: and principle. I mean, you've got James Tallarico on the
- 31:47Speaker 25: other side in this U.S. Senate seat, a guy who
- 31:49Speaker 25: says that the American flag is complicated.
- 31:53Speaker 23: What?
- 31:54Speaker 25: How so?
- 31:55Speaker 12: And for who?
- 31:56Speaker 8: Right.
- 31:56Speaker 25: I mean, a symbol of our country that is so
- 32:00Speaker 25: often and should be something that unites us and is
- 32:04Speaker 25: a clear symbol of freedom in all the states and
- 32:06Speaker 25: everything that makes us great and exceptional. And he can't
- 32:09Speaker 25: even figure out what he feels and thinks about our
- 32:11Speaker 25: American flag. And we're going to have him in the U.S.
- 32:13Speaker 4: Senate?
- 32:14Speaker 25: That's ridiculous. I mean, and that's just to get started
- 32:17Speaker 25: on some of these issues. And so, you know, here's
- 32:19Speaker 25: the deal. We looked at this and said, what is
- 32:22Speaker 25: the voting record and the track record of Ken Paxton
- 32:24Speaker 25: on the issues that we work on? And what's the
- 32:26Speaker 25: record of James Tallarico?
- 32:28Speaker 27: And it's night and day.
- 32:28Speaker 25: I mean, you got James Tallarico out there saying God
- 32:31Speaker 25: is non-binary. He's pulling biblical-based voters into this election by
- 32:35Speaker 25: turning the Bible on its head, saying things that about
- 32:39Speaker 25: the Bible that are just absolutely not true and trying
- 32:41Speaker 25: to use them to his advantage to try to convince
- 32:44Speaker 25: or woo some Christian voters out there who may not
- 32:48Speaker 25: pay attention a whole lot. So it's very concerning. As
- 32:50Speaker 25: you mentioned, the U.S. Senate seats a six-year term. That's
- 32:53Speaker 25: a long time. I did the math. I did a
- 32:55Speaker 25: little bit of research. There can be up to 2,000
- 32:58Speaker 25: votes taken by a U.S. senator in six years. You
- 33:01Speaker 25: could have several Supreme Court justices that are going to
- 33:03Speaker 25: get nominated, and they're going to be a part of
- 33:05Speaker 25: that process. nomination in that confirmation process. And that one
- 33:10Speaker 25: vote could be the difference between somebody getting on the
- 33:13Speaker 25: court and not on the court. And I can guarantee
- 33:15Speaker 25: you the left is going to be looking for people
- 33:17Speaker 25: that are going to take us back to an abortion
- 33:20Speaker 25: on demand U.S. Supreme Court. They'll probably want to reverse
- 33:23Speaker 25: the case that was decided this year that said men
- 33:26Speaker 25: should not be competing in women's sports and we can
- 33:28Speaker 25: have laws like that. And, you know, you're going to
- 33:30Speaker 25: have another justice up there if James Tallarico gets elected
- 33:34Speaker 25: who doesn't know what a woman is. I mean, and
- 33:36Speaker 25: these are no exaggerations. This is his position. And if
- 33:40Speaker 25: any Christians are not sure what to think and if
- 33:43Speaker 25: they're not convinced yet of who James Tallarico is, he
- 33:46Speaker 25: says himself he's a Christian who hates Christianity. So when
- 33:50Speaker 25: we look at that versus the track record of Kim Paxton,
- 33:52Speaker 25: who every law that's about faith, family, and freedom, that's
- 33:55Speaker 25: about parental rights, all the things that you and I
- 33:58Speaker 25: care about and so many Texas people care about that
- 34:00Speaker 25: are on the left and the right, that are united oftentimes,
- 34:02Speaker 25: he's the one defending those laws. It has an incredible
- 34:05Speaker 25: track record of doing that. And that's what that role is.
- 34:08Speaker 25: It's about casting votes the right way. And so we're
- 34:11Speaker 25: strongly recommending Ken Paxton in the U.S. Senate seat. We're
- 34:15Speaker 25: endorsing Mays Middleton for attorney general and Greg Abbott for governor.
- 34:19Speaker 25: But we thought it was important to come out and
- 34:21Speaker 25: say that we've changed our position on Ken Paxton because
- 34:25Speaker 25: last year we withdrew our endorsement from Ken Paxton. With
- 34:29Speaker 25: some things that were going on in his personal life,
- 34:31Speaker 25: it gave us a lot of concern when there were
- 34:33Speaker 25: options in the Republican primary. We're past that phase. It's
- 34:37Speaker 25: now R versus D. It's now common sense and the
- 34:41Speaker 25: values of faith, family, and freedom versus some version of
- 34:45Speaker 25: the Bible that people have never heard of with James Tallarico.
- 34:49Speaker 6: Boy, you couldn't be more dead on. We're talking with
- 34:51Speaker 6: Jonathan Saenz. He's the president of Texas Values. Once again,
- 34:55Speaker 6: it's a nonprofit that is dedicated to preserving family values
- 34:59Speaker 6: here in Texas. Your word and your organization carries a
- 35:02Speaker 6: lot of weight. That's why I did, obviously, in the
- 35:04Speaker 6: primary when you guys pulled your endorsement. But as you mentioned,
- 35:07Speaker 6: we're at a point now you got a binary choice.
- 35:09Speaker 6: You can either choose Paxton, who has hands down been
- 35:12Speaker 6: probably the greatest attorney general in Texas state history, or
- 35:16Speaker 6: you can choose this guy who, which, by the way,
- 35:18Speaker 6: worrying about votes, I do believe he missed, what was it,
- 35:21Speaker 6: 287 votes in the Texas House. So the guy that,
- 35:24Speaker 6: as you mentioned, he's a Christian against Christianity. He has
- 35:28Speaker 6: been running a campaign, James Tallarico, against himself. It is
- 35:32Speaker 6: very weird watching a guy campaign towards the middle, trying
- 35:36Speaker 6: to pretend that everything that he has advocated for, voted for,
- 35:40Speaker 6: and stood for, for the last eight years in the
- 35:42Speaker 6: Texas House is somehow as though that didn't exist. But
- 35:45Speaker 6: we do have the ability to go back and look
- 35:48Speaker 6: at what he has done and what he's voted for
- 35:50Speaker 6: and how he is. And you're absolutely right. The guy
- 35:52Speaker 6: has absolutely nothing in common with the average Texan and
- 35:55Speaker 6: their values, which is why it's so important for organizations
- 35:59Speaker 6: like yours to not only speak out but to cover
- 36:02Speaker 6: this stuff.
- 36:03Speaker 21: Well, it really is.
- 36:04Speaker 25: And, look, as an organization that cares about faith, family,
- 36:07Speaker 25: and freedom– That's a Christian organization. We have high standards
- 36:10Speaker 25: for having an endorsement. So that's why we've had some
- 36:13Speaker 25: pause in the past with Ken Paxton during the primary phase.
- 36:16Speaker 25: But as I was stating earlier, we're beyond that phase.
- 36:19Speaker 25: But I say that, and one of the reasons we
- 36:21Speaker 25: wanted to bring it to people's attention today in a
- 36:24Speaker 25: press release we sent out this morning was because we
- 36:26Speaker 25: know there are a lot of voters that feel the
- 36:28Speaker 25: same way. They look at the Senate race and they're
- 36:31Speaker 25: just not sure what they want to do. They can't
- 36:33Speaker 25: bring themselves to vote for James Tallarico, but they've heard
- 36:36Speaker 25: this and they've heard that about Ken Paxton in his
- 36:38Speaker 25: personal life. Look, you can worry all you want about
- 36:42Speaker 25: Ken Paxton's personal life, but that's not really going to
- 36:44Speaker 25: affect you. But I tell you what, James Tallarico will
- 36:47Speaker 25: affect your personal life and the type of policies that
- 36:50Speaker 25: he is going to support and the type of effort
- 36:52Speaker 25: he's going to try to do to repeal a lot
- 36:53Speaker 25: of our laws and vote for the wrong kinds of justices.
- 36:57Speaker 25: And I think that's what people need to be thinking about.
- 36:59Speaker 2: At this point.
- 37:00Speaker 25: But we understand that. We understand. And some people say, well,
- 37:02Speaker 25: I'm just going to skip that, you know, election. It's
- 37:05Speaker 25: the first one on the ballot, by the way. So
- 37:07Speaker 25: it's hard to not notice it. They say, oh, I'm
- 37:09Speaker 25: just going to skip that race because I can't bring
- 37:10Speaker 25: myself to vote for Tallarico. But, you know, I'm not
- 37:13Speaker 25: sure about Paxson, so I'm just going to skip the race. Well,
- 37:15Speaker 25: you're really empowering the other side. And every vote's going
- 37:18Speaker 25: to count. I don't know what it's going to come
- 37:19Speaker 25: down to. It wouldn't surprise me at all if this
- 37:22Speaker 25: ends up being one of the closest races ever at
- 37:25Speaker 25: the statewide level. And how are people going to feel
- 37:28Speaker 25: When they know, gosh, I skipped that on the ballot.
- 37:31Speaker 25: My vote, somebody on my street and my neighborhood collectively
- 37:35Speaker 25: could have made a difference. And so if somebody's listening
- 37:37Speaker 25: and they're thinking that, trust me, there are probably another
- 37:39Speaker 25: hundred or maybe thousand people that may be thinking the
- 37:41Speaker 25: same way. And so everyone's got to do their job.
- 37:44Speaker 25: They've got to execute their civic responsibility and go vote.
- 37:49Speaker 6: You know, Jonathan, you said something important, too. There's a
- 37:51Speaker 6: lot of people that still haven't voted. Early voting was
- 37:54Speaker 6: last week and is going through this week through Friday
- 37:56Speaker 6: the 30th. So people still have the opportunity. We're getting
- 38:00Speaker 6: historic turnout for the early voting this year. The reality
- 38:03Speaker 6: is the vast majority of people are going to vote
- 38:05Speaker 6: on Election Day.
- 38:07Speaker 25: And I want to say this. I love the Election
- 38:09Speaker 25: Day voter, okay, because I love the experience. I get
- 38:12Speaker 25: like that sometimes. But you know what happened to me?
- 38:14Speaker 25: I think it was last election cycle. Or maybe it
- 38:17Speaker 25: was a one of the election cycles in May. I
- 38:21Speaker 25: almost forgot to vote. I waited until Election Day on
- 38:24Speaker 25: like that's what I want to do. I was like,
- 38:25Speaker 25: I'm going to vote on Election Day. I'm going to
- 38:26Speaker 25: take one of my kids with me. And it got
- 38:28Speaker 25: to like five o'clock and I had almost forgotten. And
- 38:30Speaker 25: I was like, oh, my gosh, how awful would I
- 38:33Speaker 25: have felt? So I just want to maybe try to
- 38:36Speaker 25: appeal to the Election Day voter. Please consider not waiting
- 38:39Speaker 25: until Election Day. Please consider voting now when you've got
- 38:43Speaker 25: more days to choose from this week and you've got
- 38:45Speaker 25: more locations. Usually in your county you can vote at
- 38:49Speaker 25: any voting location in your county. But you wait until
- 38:52Speaker 25: Election Day. It gets a lot more structured, and it's
- 38:54Speaker 25: usually only your place. And there's going to be all
- 38:56Speaker 25: these long lines of people who are like, oh, I
- 38:58Speaker 25: don't want to wait in line. I didn't realize it
- 39:00Speaker 25: was going to be like this. And they're going to
- 39:02Speaker 25: end up not voting. So I'm just– two things. Either
- 39:05Speaker 25: vote this week. Or be in line at 7 a.m.
- 39:08Speaker 25: on Election Day. But if people aren't careful, they're going
- 39:11Speaker 25: to miss this opportunity. So I just I want to
- 39:13Speaker 25: appeal to that. You know, I'm an Election Day voter
- 39:16Speaker 25: that I've heard a lot of people say in the
- 39:18Speaker 25: past couple of weeks. Consider changing that and going ahead
- 39:21Speaker 25: and casting your vote this week. It's too important. You
- 39:24Speaker 25: don't want to miss it.
- 39:26Speaker 6: Well, I couldn't agree more. I i second that because
- 39:28Speaker 6: there have been times in the past many many years
- 39:31Speaker 6: ago now this point to where exactly it's election day
- 39:33Speaker 6: i'm like oh man it's election day and i'm almost
- 39:35Speaker 6: too late where it now that i've become an early
- 39:38Speaker 6: voter i've got to where i don't like standing in
- 39:40Speaker 6: the lines and i voted last friday but the other
- 39:42Speaker 6: thing too is If there is some sort of an
- 39:45Speaker 6: issue here in Harris County, and I know you're familiar
- 39:47Speaker 6: because you're from this area. Back in 2022 or 2023,
- 39:52Speaker 6: when Democrats were in control of the elections in Harris County,
- 39:56Speaker 6: 27 Republican precincts ran out of paper on Election Day.
- 39:59Speaker 6: And how many voters were disenfranchised? So those sort of
- 40:03Speaker 6: things can happen. You have to prepare. So I agree
- 40:05Speaker 6: with you 100 percent. If you can get out early
- 40:07Speaker 6: and vote, just get it done. So that way, if
- 40:09Speaker 6: something comes up on Election Day, you've already got it
- 40:11Speaker 6: taken care of and you're good to go.
- 40:14Speaker 23: Yeah, absolutely.
- 40:14Speaker 25: And I want to remind people of our website for
- 40:16Speaker 25: Texas Values Action. That's the entity that we use to
- 40:19Speaker 25: endorse candidates. If you go to txvaluesaction.org, you can see
- 40:23Speaker 25: the list of our endorsements. And it covers a lot
- 40:26Speaker 25: of local races too, not just the state and the
- 40:28Speaker 25: federal level. Please, everybody, go all the way down the ballot.
- 40:32Speaker 25: Don't leave anything blank because we got some big ones.
- 40:36Speaker 25: Every Texas House seat is on the ballot. Every member
- 40:39Speaker 25: of the U.S. House and Congress is on the ballot.
- 40:42Speaker 25: They have to run for election every two years. So
- 40:44Speaker 25: don't forget about those and a lot of other important races,
- 40:46Speaker 25: State Board of Education, other statewide races, Land Commissioner, Railroad Commissioner,
- 40:51Speaker 25: all these different things that are on there that people
- 40:54Speaker 25: sometimes are not aware of. All those races are incredibly important.
- 41:01Speaker 25: And Harris County is a county that has one of
- 41:04Speaker 25: the highest numbers of voters, if not the highest, because
- 41:07Speaker 25: it's the largest county in our state and one of
- 41:09Speaker 25: the largest in the country. So there's probably a lot
- 41:12Speaker 25: of people in that county that haven't voted yet, and
- 41:15Speaker 25: they can really make a difference.
- 41:17Speaker 6: Well, yeah, you couldn't be more dead on. All right,
- 41:18Speaker 6: Jonathan Saenz, he's the president of Texas Values. He mentioned
- 41:21Speaker 6: that website, txvaluesaction.org. I was looking at the endorsement list. Yeah,
- 41:27Speaker 6: it looked almost exactly like my ballot that I filled
- 41:29Speaker 6: out on Friday. So I went that route. Did you
- 41:32Speaker 6: early vote this time, Jonathan, yet, or are you waiting.
- 41:34Speaker 28: For election day?
- 41:35Speaker 29: I did.
- 41:35Speaker 25: No, I did. And I reminded myself of that because
- 41:40Speaker 25: we get busy with our work, and we're out talking
- 41:41Speaker 25: to people and trying to remind people, and then we forget.
- 41:44Speaker 25: By the way, I want to mention one other thing.
- 41:46Speaker 25: If people have not used the Abbott Impact app– okay,
- 41:48Speaker 25: Greg Abbott, but it's more than just about his campaign.
- 41:53Speaker 25: Abbott Impact app, if you will download it and use it,
- 41:56Speaker 25: it is the most– it's the easiest use of an
- 42:00Speaker 25: app to connect with people in your neighborhood, wherever, through
- 42:02Speaker 25: the state to remind people to vote. I've never seen
- 42:04Speaker 25: anything like it, Chris. It's absolutely incredible. So we've been
- 42:07Speaker 25: telling people, use this. Go to this app. Go to
- 42:10Speaker 25: the Abbott Impact app. It is fantastic. I mean, I
- 42:14Speaker 25: sat there in my chair the other day at home,
- 42:17Speaker 25: and I think that I messaged 200 or 300 people
- 42:20Speaker 25: within five or ten minutes. I mean, it is just
- 42:22Speaker 25: a tap of a button on your phone that you
- 42:24Speaker 25: could be going down a list. These are people, and
- 42:27Speaker 25: they've figured it out. They show you who they are.
- 42:30Speaker 25: It's only people that haven't voted yet, so it's updated
- 42:32Speaker 25: every night. Man, it's incredible. So I encourage people, download
- 42:37Speaker 25: the Abbott Impact app and use it.
- 42:39Speaker 6: Man, I agree 100%. Absolutely. Well, Jonathan, I know you
- 42:43Speaker 6: stay very busy as well because you're doing a lot
- 42:45Speaker 6: of media and you stay extremely busy. So I always
- 42:48Speaker 6: appreciate your time. Thanks for being here this afternoon. Always
- 42:50Speaker 6: good to catch up with you.
- 42:51Speaker 12: Thanks, Chris. Talk to you later.
- 42:53Speaker 3: All right.
- 42:53Speaker 6: Take care. Once again, Jonathan signs president of Texas values,
- 42:57Speaker 6: TX values, action.org. If you want to go take a
- 43:00Speaker 6: look at the, their, their referrals, cause they've got a
- 43:03Speaker 6: ton of them. And once again, it looks almost, it's
- 43:05Speaker 6: exactly like my ballot that I had here in Harris County,
- 43:08Speaker 6: but it covers all the other counties and a whole
- 43:10Speaker 6: lot more. than just what I had. And of course,
- 43:12Speaker 6: all of the races that we get to vote in.
- 43:14Speaker 6: So it's a good place to go. TX values, action.org.
- 43:19Speaker 6: Go do that and make sure you're following Texas values.
- 43:21Speaker 6: They do those great events every year, just like a freedom.
- 43:25Speaker 6: The freedom, faith and family is what they focus on.
- 43:28Speaker 6: And then of course they had the, The Faith Fest,
- 43:30Speaker 6: which they've had for the last, I don't know how
- 43:31Speaker 6: many years. So I'm always honored to be a part
- 43:33Speaker 6: of that and to get to go down and meet
- 43:35Speaker 6: and talk and interview with fantastic people doing the right
- 43:38Speaker 6: sort of stuff for our community. In fact, I don't
- 43:40Speaker 6: think I've ever met a person there who said they
- 43:42Speaker 6: were a Christian who hates Christianity. That is incongruent with
- 43:48Speaker 6: Texas values. All right, let's take a break. Once again,
- 43:50Speaker 6: you're listening to Chris X Radio. I want to thank
- 43:52Speaker 6: Jonathan Sines for joining us. Always good to catch up
- 43:55Speaker 6: with him. We'll take a break. We'll go and open
- 43:57Speaker 6: up the phones. 281-558-KSEV. 281-558-5738. Take a very short break.
- 44:04Speaker 6: We'll be right back on the other side. Don't you
- 44:06Speaker 6: go anywhere.
- 44:13Speaker 3: The revolution continues after this. Chris X Radio.

- 45:09Speaker 11: As a Texan, you deserve your court system to deliver
- 45:12Speaker 11: justice that is fair, understandable, and within reach. Chief Justice
- 45:17Speaker 11: Jimmy Blacklock says that starts with judges applying the law
- 45:20Speaker 11: as written so the rules don't change depending on who
- 45:22Speaker 11: walks into the courtroom. But fairness also means a court
- 45:26Speaker 11: system that works for the people it serves. Blacklock has
- 45:29Speaker 11: called for reducing unnecessary delays and expenses, simplifying court procedures,
- 45:34Speaker 11: and making legal services more affordable. Because a case should
- 45:38Speaker 11: be decided on the facts and the law, not on
- 45:40Speaker 11: who can afford the longest fight. Texas courts belong to
- 45:44Speaker 11: the people. That means judges should be accountable, rules should
- 45:47Speaker 11: be clear, and the system should be accessible to those
- 45:50Speaker 11: who rely on it. For Blacklock, equal justice means more
- 45:54Speaker 11: than a principle. It means a court system Texans can understand, trust,
- 45:58Speaker 11: and afford to use. Chief Justice Jimmy Blacklock. Clear rules.
- 46:02Speaker 11: Accountable courts. Equal justice under law.
- 46:06Speaker 6: Political ad paid for by the Jimmy Blacklock campaign.

- 46:24Speaker 6: This is Kevin O'Hara with O'Hara & Company Real Estate.
- 46:27Speaker 32: Our country's founding fathers drafted a document that is the
- 46:30Speaker 32: Declaration of Independence. We hold these truths to be self-evident,
- 46:34Speaker 32: that all men are created equal, that they are endowed
- 46:36Speaker 32: by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these
- 46:40Speaker 32: are life, liberty, and.
- 46:41Speaker 6: The pursuit of happiness.
- 46:43Speaker 32: To secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving
- 46:46Speaker 32: their powers from the consent of the governed. My friends
- 46:49Speaker 32: at O'Hare & Company Real Estate, we believe we're at
- 46:51Speaker 32: our precipice in time. We must take back our country.
- 46:54Speaker 32: We must stand up for our freedoms or lose them forever.
- 46:57Speaker 32: Please don't sit idle and let it slip away. Don't
- 47:00Speaker 32: let anyone force you to do something you choose not to.
- 47:03Speaker 32: As JFK said, if.
- 47:04Speaker 6: Not us, who?
- 47:06Speaker 12: If not now, when?
- 47:07Speaker 32: If you're looking to buy or sell real estate, give
- 47:09Speaker 32: O'Hara & Company Real Estate a call at 281-373-3393, 281-373-3393, or.
- 47:17Speaker 6: Look us up on the web at oharare.com. I'm Kevin O'Hara.
- 47:21Speaker 32: God bless America, and God bless Texas.
- 47:25Speaker 3: You can't stop him. You can only hope to contain him.
- 47:29Speaker 3: Chris X Radio.
- 47:40Speaker 6: I'm having premonitions of the end of the first hour.
- 47:48Speaker 6: All right, welcome back to Chris X Radio. You've reached
- 47:51Speaker 6: the final segment of the first hour. But don't you
- 47:54Speaker 6: go anywhere. We've got hour number two locked and loaded
- 47:56Speaker 6: and ready to go for you. If you want to
- 47:58Speaker 6: join us here before we run out of time in
- 48:00Speaker 6: this first hour or get ready for the second hour, 281-558-KSEV, 281-558-5738.
- 48:07Speaker 6: I want to thank Jonathan Sines, the president of Texas Values.
- 48:10Speaker 6: Always good to catch up with him. That website he mentioned,
- 48:13Speaker 6: once again, if you want to go look at the
- 48:14Speaker 6: list of who they've endorsed. And the stuff that they're doing, they're,
- 48:19Speaker 6: like I said, doing a great job on so many
- 48:21Speaker 6: levels with Texas Values. It's txvaluesaction.org. I encourage you to
- 48:27Speaker 6: go check it out. And if you have any questions
- 48:30Speaker 6: about what's on your ballot, that's a good place to start.
- 48:32Speaker 6: You can always download your ballot. And then if you
- 48:34Speaker 6: have questions, go there. See who they're endorsing. Because... I
- 48:39Speaker 6: can tell you, just from looking at the list that
- 48:41Speaker 6: he's already put, that's already put up on the website,
- 48:44Speaker 6: it's basically everyone that I voted for. Basically everyone with
- 48:49Speaker 6: an R next to their name. And there's no basically.
- 48:51Speaker 6: That's absolutely what I did. Because that's how important this
- 48:54Speaker 6: election is. Okay, it is our Taco 2 for Tuesday edition.
- 48:57Speaker 6: It is the last week of early voting. Early voting
- 49:00Speaker 6: goes through this Friday, October 30th. And as Jonathan stressed,
- 49:03Speaker 6: it's a good idea to get out and vote early
- 49:06Speaker 6: if you want to. Don't wait until Election Day and
- 49:08Speaker 6: then catch yourself not remembering or getting busy or something
- 49:11Speaker 6: happens and you're like, oh, well, I can't vote. Understand
- 49:14Speaker 6: that this election in Texas could be a very, very
- 49:18Speaker 6: close one. Every vote. vote counts. Absolutely. So election day
- 49:24Speaker 6: is Tuesday, November 3rd, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. I'm
- 49:26Speaker 6: already looking at the weather. It looks like it's going
- 49:27Speaker 6: to be raining. So I hope you don't mind standing
- 49:30Speaker 6: in the rain if you're going to wait for election day.
- 49:32Speaker 6: Looks like you're going to get some rain later this
- 49:33Speaker 6: week as well, but early voting goes usually a whole
- 49:36Speaker 6: lot quicker, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. through this Friday,
- 49:39Speaker 6: October 30th. All right, let's go to the phones, catch
- 49:41Speaker 6: up with Dr. Chris listening in Cyprus.
- 49:43Speaker 2: Dr.
- 49:44Speaker 6: Chris, thank you so much for hanging on. Welcome to
- 49:45Speaker 6: Chris X Radio.
- 49:48Speaker 2: Yes, sir.
- 49:48Speaker 33: I just want to say this real quick before you
- 49:50Speaker 33: run out of time. There is a lot of senior
- 49:54Speaker 33: citizens within the counties where you live, Harris included, And
- 49:59Speaker 33: you should do everything you can to make sure that
- 50:01Speaker 33: those people get to the polls. My family and I,
- 50:04Speaker 33: we have my father-in-law is over 100 years old. My
- 50:09Speaker 33: mother-in-law will be 100 this year. God bless them. And
- 50:14Speaker 33: so they have friends and we have friends in ministry.
- 50:17Speaker 33: And we make sure that we rent vans and all
- 50:20Speaker 33: that type of stuff to make sure people.
- 50:21Speaker 2: Get to the polls.
- 50:22Speaker 33: And it's very easy because when you get to the
- 50:25Speaker 33: polls and the people are there to vote, they have
- 50:27Speaker 33: curbside voting. You can get your groceries and all that
- 50:31Speaker 33: stuff curbside. You can take your elderly parents, aunt, uncle,
- 50:35Speaker 33: whoever it is, you can take them out to the
- 50:37Speaker 33: poll to vote. And one of the things that I'm
- 50:39Speaker 33: hearing when I talk to people that not so much
- 50:43Speaker 33: they're in the age range of my in-laws, but they
- 50:45Speaker 33: tell me, people are telling us, And I'm mad as
- 50:48Speaker 33: hell because the people in Harris County decided to raise
- 50:51Speaker 33: my taxes. And they also remember what it was like
- 50:54Speaker 33: under the Biden-Harris administration. I don't understand people when they
- 50:58Speaker 33: call you and tell you. I was listening to your
- 51:00Speaker 33: show last week where people call you and tell you
- 51:01Speaker 33: about messaging. The message is loud and clear from these
- 51:05Speaker 33: Democrats is I don't give a damn whether or not
- 51:07Speaker 33: you like I raised your taxes. We did it, and
- 51:09Speaker 33: we did it unapologetically. What are you going to do?
- 51:12Speaker 33: My question to the people that are listening is inside
- 51:14Speaker 33: of my voice is what are you going to do?
- 51:16Speaker 33: Are you going to sit on your ass and whine
- 51:17Speaker 33: about the fact that Trump didn't do everything that he
- 51:20Speaker 33: promised he wasn't going to do because he went to–
- 51:22Speaker 33: our defense against Iran, or are you going to get
- 51:25Speaker 33: up and you're going to go out and you're going
- 51:27Speaker 33: to cast your ballot against these people that are coming
- 51:29Speaker 33: after your children, that are coming after your grandchildren, and
- 51:32Speaker 33: that would rather see you poor, broke, busted, and disgusted,
- 51:36Speaker 33: even your livelihood over taxes, or are you going to
- 51:40Speaker 33: go and vote? You have a clear choice here. Ken
- 51:46Speaker 33: Paxton is not perfect, and neither was David when God
- 51:50Speaker 33: chose him to be king over Of Israel, was he?
- 51:53Speaker 27: No, he wasn't.
- 51:55Speaker 33: All you evangelicals that are listening to the sound of
- 51:57Speaker 33: my voice, everybody that God used in Scripture was never perfect.
- 52:03Speaker 33: Never were they.
- 52:04Speaker 6: Last time I checked, Dr. Chris, there's only one perfect person,
- 52:07Speaker 6: and that's not the rest of us. So there's that.
- 52:10Speaker 6: But also, your point is, the other thing, too, is
- 52:13Speaker 6: let's look who Ken Paxton's ex-wife is voting for. She's
- 52:16Speaker 6: voting for the entirety of the Republican ticket, and that
- 52:18Speaker 6: includes her ex-husband. So you're right. He is not a
- 52:21Speaker 6: perfect individual. But the alternative is someone that is so
- 52:24Speaker 6: much drastically worse on every measurable lever. So it's insane.
- 52:31Speaker 6: And by the way, I appreciate your call, Dr.
- 52:32Speaker 3: Chris.
- 52:32Speaker 6: I usually don't get to hear you this fired up.
- 52:35Speaker 6: First of all, I want to comment. Man, you must
- 52:38Speaker 6: come from great genetics. Man, you got multiple in-laws or
- 52:42Speaker 6: parents and in-laws around. They're still hitting 100 years old.
- 52:45Speaker 6: That is awesome, which means we'll have you around for
- 52:48Speaker 6: a long time, which is great, and we definitely want that,
- 52:51Speaker 6: but also your voting. And you talk about, yeah, getting
- 52:54Speaker 6: out and voting. People that understand that, once again, James
- 53:01Speaker 6: Tallarico going after the Christian vote is as disingenuous as
- 53:05Speaker 6: the entire campaign that he has run. for some people
- 53:08Speaker 6: to somehow think this guy is following scripture. No, he's
- 53:11Speaker 6: rewriting it in a new woke version that is insane. Yeah,
- 53:18Speaker 6: Jesus was all about abortion, wasn't he?
- 53:21Speaker 4: What?
- 53:22Speaker 6: It's crazy. I couldn't agree with you anymore, Dr.
- 53:24Speaker 3: Perez.
- 53:24Speaker 6: 100%. Get out and vote. People, go do this. Let's
- 53:28Speaker 6: make sure we don't turn over our state to a
- 53:30Speaker 6: six-year mistake. That would be awful. Hour number two is
- 53:34Speaker 6: up next.

- 53:50Speaker 5: House Speaker Mike Johnson says midterm polls showing big leads
- 53:53Speaker 5: for Democrats are underestimating Republicans. Details from correspondent Bernie Bennett.
- 53:59Speaker 34: The Louisiana Republican said he believes the polls are even
- 54:01Speaker 34: further off due to partisan non-response bias, admitting Republicans are
- 54:05Speaker 34: unwilling to participate in these surveys. Partisan non-response bias is
- 54:09Speaker 34: an issue with the polling industry, most notably in the
- 54:11Speaker 34: 2016 and 2020 presidential elections. That's when polls underestimated President
- 54:16Speaker 34: Trump in key battleground states. Polling is more frequently accurate
- 54:19Speaker 34: in midterm elections. However, Johnson remains firm on the GOP's
- 54:23Speaker 34: chances to retain the House.
- 54:24Speaker 6: I'm Bernie Bennett.
- 54:25Speaker 5: A bipartisan group of lawmakers wants fellow members of Congress
- 54:29Speaker 5: to pledge they'll accept the results of next week's midterm elections.
- 54:33Speaker 2: I don't think it's necessary because I think the Constitution
- 54:37Speaker 2: protects everybody to be accepted into office. It comes directly
- 54:42Speaker 2: from the people.
- 54:43Speaker 5: That's Republican Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley. The push comes as
- 54:47Speaker 5: President Trump and some Republicans claim the elections are being
- 54:51Speaker 5: rigged in favor of Democrats. Consumer confidence unexpectedly rose in October.
- 54:56Speaker 12: The conference board's lead index improved 7.5 points from September.
- 55:01Speaker 12: The board's senior economist, Fergus McCormick, said the recovery was
- 55:04Speaker 12: in line with easing gas prices, but he also noted
- 55:07Speaker 12: overall confidence remained on the long-term downward trend of the
- 55:11Speaker 12: past few years. The survey found consumers planned less spending
- 55:14Speaker 12: on services and durable goods over the next six months.
- 55:17Speaker 12: It concluded it's likely due to higher prices and persistent inflation.
- 55:21Speaker 12: I'm at Mattinson.

- 56:58Speaker 3: From KSEV, here's political contributor Ben Strewsand.
- 57:03Speaker 35: To my fellow Republicans who supported John Cornyn and won't
- 57:07Speaker 35: vote for Ken Paxton, you're about to give control of
- 57:10Speaker 35: the U.S. Senate over to the socialists that now run
- 57:14Speaker 35: the Democrat Party. Their plan is to pack the Supreme Court,
- 57:17Speaker 35: give statehood to D.C. and Puerto Rico, so as to
- 57:20Speaker 35: add four new Democrats to the Senate and control the
- 57:24Speaker 35: Electoral College. Do you really want that on your conscience?
- 57:28Speaker 35: And don't think for a minute that somehow progressive socialist
- 57:32Speaker 35: turned moderate James Tallarico won't support the Bernese team. He
- 57:37Speaker 35: won't have a choice. Or another election for six years.
- 57:41Speaker 35: We all know what it's like to support crap candidates
- 57:44Speaker 35: when a Republican primary is over. We've held our nose
- 57:47Speaker 35: and voted Republican so many times that the smell doesn't
- 57:51Speaker 35: stink anymore.
- 57:52Speaker 6: It's your turn.
- 57:53Speaker 35: Whatever problems you have with Paxton, and he's got a few,
- 57:56Speaker 35: pale in comparison to the damage that will be done
- 58:00Speaker 35: if you allow a Democrat to win a Senate race
- 58:03Speaker 35: in Texas. Besides, he doesn't sport any swastikas, his relationships
- 58:09Speaker 35: with women were consensual, and he thinks Hamas is a
- 58:12Speaker 35: bunch of murderers. With Tallarico, you get men playing in
- 58:16Speaker 35: women's sports, the DEI agenda, unfettered illegal immigration, and handcuffs
- 58:22Speaker 35: on police, not criminals. So starting with John Cornyn's Senate buddies,
- 58:27Speaker 35: John Thune and Rick Scott, get over it before it's
- 58:30Speaker 35: too late. Spend the money. Saying I told you so
- 58:34Speaker 35: might make you feel better, but only briefly besides. We
- 58:38Speaker 35: wouldn't be in this position if Cornyn had retired and
- 58:41Speaker 35: let a new generation take over. Texas Republicans read the
- 58:46Speaker 35: polling and knew he was done for, but you all
- 58:49Speaker 35: seem to think that you're indispensable. I'm Ben Struesand, and
- 58:55Speaker 35: that's my view.
- 58:57Speaker 3: Ben Struesand, only on AM700 KSEV.
- 59:04Speaker 23: Thank goodness our weather experts are providing us with hurricane
- 59:07Speaker 23: tracking charts and reminding us to be.
- 59:09Speaker 6: Prepared for big storms.
- 59:11Speaker 23: But they overlook one very important thing, the damage and
- 59:13Speaker 23: destruction from broken limbs and uprooted trees. Call Louis Flory
- 59:17Speaker 23: at Ability Tree Experts today. My friend for nearly 40 years.
- 59:21Speaker 23: At 281-441-4179. And let him explain how this problem can
- 59:26Speaker 23: be minimized with professional pruning. You see, when the tree
- 59:29Speaker 23: canopy is too thick and dense, the tree can be
- 59:31Speaker 23: completely blown over and tree limbs broken, causing terrible damage
- 59:35Speaker 23: to the tree and maybe your home. Where tree limbs break,
- 59:39Speaker 23: sap will ooze, and that attracts harmful insects. So you
- 59:42Speaker 23: need to call Louis Flory today at 281-441-4179 and have
- 59:48Speaker 23: his experts come out and professionally prune your trees to
- 59:52Speaker 23: withstand sudden storms that are so frequent this time of year.

- 1:00:38Speaker 4: This message must resound throughout the entire interlinked.

- 1:00:45Speaker 3: Chris X.
- 1:01:04Speaker 6: Good evening and welcome to the second hour of Chris
- 1:01:06Speaker 6: X Radio. Glad to have you here with us as
- 1:01:08Speaker 6: we are rocking through your Taco Two for Tuesday. Two
- 1:01:11Speaker 6: for Taco Tuesday. Thank you, Pick, whatever you want. It's
- 1:01:15Speaker 6: up to you. You can celebrate the day you want.
- 1:01:17Speaker 6: I wouldn't necessarily call it a holiday, but it is
- 1:01:20Speaker 6: a day. So our Two for Taco Tuesday edition here
- 1:01:25Speaker 6: on The Voice of Texas. Glad to have you here
- 1:01:27Speaker 6: with us as we are rocking and rolling our way
- 1:01:29Speaker 6: through the final week of early voting. Early voting numbers,
- 1:01:33Speaker 6: Harris County, what was it through Monday, was 705,000 plus voters.
- 1:01:38Speaker 6: Was it Tanisha Hudspeth, I believe, predicted on the Amigos
- 1:01:42Speaker 6: on Friday, is it a million early voters? Which is, that's, man,
- 1:01:47Speaker 6: that's great turnout. Early voting goes through Friday of this week,
- 1:01:52Speaker 6: which is October the 30th, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.,
- 1:01:56Speaker 6: and then Election Day will be Tuesday, November 3rd, 7 a.m.
- 1:01:59Speaker 6: to 7 p.m. Let me go take a look here
- 1:02:02Speaker 6: at the weather, what I'm just seeing here in my area.
- 1:02:06Speaker 6: Looks like we may get some 55% chance of rain tomorrow,
- 1:02:10Speaker 6: 40% on Friday, 60% on Saturday, Sunday, 40%. Next Tuesday,
- 1:02:13Speaker 6: a 60% chance of rain.
- 1:02:13Speaker 36: So....
- 1:02:20Speaker 6: It may be a very soggy Election Day. So if
- 1:02:23Speaker 6: you want to avoid that, maybe get out, vote at
- 1:02:25Speaker 6: your own convenience. You can go from 7 a.m. to
- 1:02:27Speaker 6: 7 p.m. all the way through Friday of this week
- 1:02:30Speaker 6: or just wait till Election Day, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday,
- 1:02:33Speaker 6: November 3rd, which is two crazy things. One, Cash, can
- 1:02:37Speaker 6: you believe, first of all, Halloween is this Saturday, and
- 1:02:40Speaker 6: second of all, we're already into November next week. Can
- 1:02:43Speaker 6: you believe we're already there?
- 1:02:44Speaker 9: I cannot actually, no.
- 1:02:48Speaker 6: It's hard to believe that we're already into November. And
- 1:02:52Speaker 6: then what, by November 10th, you're going to be living
- 1:02:55Speaker 6: in a space station on the moon.
- 1:02:58Speaker 9: That's the rumor.
- 1:03:00Speaker 6: Now, here's my question. When you're on the moon, do
- 1:03:02Speaker 6: you still follow Earth days and time, or does it
- 1:03:05Speaker 6: change to be moon days and time? Because moon doesn't
- 1:03:09Speaker 6: rotate like the Earth does.
- 1:03:12Speaker 9: That's true, but I haven't hit orientation yet, so I'll
- 1:03:14Speaker 9: send you moon mail.
- 1:03:16Speaker 6: Okay. I'm looking forward to getting some of that moon mail.
- 1:03:20Speaker 6: I don't think I've ever gotten any before. But nonetheless,
- 1:03:24Speaker 6: Cash is leaving us. He is heading up to a
- 1:03:27Speaker 6: new moon base location. He'll be living in a colony
- 1:03:32Speaker 6: on the moon as they prepare for heading to Mars.
- 1:03:34Speaker 6: I've already asked him if he's going to try to
- 1:03:36Speaker 6: hitchhike and make his way to Mars. I think he's
- 1:03:39Speaker 6: going to. I don't know. It just strikes me as
- 1:03:42Speaker 6: a Mars sort of guy. Do you think you would
- 1:03:45Speaker 6: enjoy living on the moon better, Cash, or living on Mars?
- 1:03:49Speaker 9: I think I could get away with the moon for
- 1:03:51Speaker 9: a little while. If I leave, my wife will come
- 1:03:53Speaker 9: for me to Mars.
- 1:03:55Speaker 4: Oh, okay.
- 1:03:55Speaker 6: There you go. Yeah, I don't know if you get
- 1:03:59Speaker 6: to take your wife with you. That would make things
- 1:04:02Speaker 6: very different. So, nonetheless, this cash is last week. From
- 1:04:07Speaker 6: what I'm told, Captain Jack will be with us next week.
- 1:04:11Speaker 6: And then I don't know if– I have no idea.
- 1:04:14Speaker 6: I don't know what's going to be the final verdict.
- 1:04:17Speaker 6: I just know that Cash is irreplaceable. So we're going
- 1:04:19Speaker 6: to miss you, Cash. We don't know how we're going
- 1:04:22Speaker 6: to go on without you, but we will.
- 1:04:26Speaker 9: Just look to the moon.
- 1:04:28Speaker 6: I was about to say, anytime feeling lonely, just look
- 1:04:30Speaker 6: to the moon. There you go. All right. So anyway,
- 1:04:32Speaker 6: let's get back to business at hand. Did anybody early
- 1:04:35Speaker 6: vote today? If you did, I'd like to know what
- 1:04:37Speaker 6: you saw. I've been still getting messages, emails, you know,
- 1:04:41Speaker 6: you name it, regarding what people experienced literally every day
- 1:04:45Speaker 6: of early voting up through yesterday. But I haven't heard
- 1:04:49Speaker 6: from anyone today. Did you get out an early vote?
- 1:04:52Speaker 6: How was it? I voted early on Friday. It was
- 1:04:54Speaker 6: in and out in 10 minutes. So, but if you
- 1:04:58Speaker 6: want to weigh in, you want to let us know
- 1:04:59Speaker 6: how it went. 281-558-KSEV, 281-558-5738. By the way, if you
- 1:05:06Speaker 6: missed our interview with Jonathan Saenz, the president of Texas Values,
- 1:05:10Speaker 6: if you're watching any of our videos, which are posted
- 1:05:13Speaker 6: on Rumble, YouTube, Twitter X, and then of course Facebook,
- 1:05:17Speaker 6: you can literally go watch them live right now and
- 1:05:20Speaker 6: then just rewind back and watch that interview. Or you
- 1:05:22Speaker 6: can always download the podcast and go listen to it there.
- 1:05:26Speaker 6: A good interview. Jonathan's a sharp guy, but he stays
- 1:05:28Speaker 6: very busy. So I had an interview with him just
- 1:05:30Speaker 6: a little while ago. All right. Also, as we get
- 1:05:33Speaker 6: into our number two, we want to hear from you. 281-558-KSCV.
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: 281-558-5738.
- 1:05:41Speaker 6: I mentioned this in the first hour. Okay, the Department
- 1:05:44Speaker 6: of Justice has charged former FBI Director James Comey now
- 1:05:48Speaker 6: for a third time alleging that he leaked a sensitive
- 1:05:52Speaker 6: national security document to the New York Times in October
- 1:05:55Speaker 6: of 2016. Hmm, what was happening in October of 2016? Oh,
- 1:06:04Speaker 6: I guess there was a bit of an election taking place.
- 1:06:07Speaker 6: The allegations are contained in court records made public late
- 1:06:10Speaker 6: on October 26th. The record shows that prosecutors filed a
- 1:06:15Speaker 6: two-count criminal investigation against Comey on October 5th, exactly 10
- 1:06:20Speaker 6: years after the alleged misconduct. The information charges him under
- 1:06:27Speaker 6: the Espionage Act with transmitting national defense information to a
- 1:06:31Speaker 6: person who was not entitled to receive it and with
- 1:06:35Speaker 6: conspiring to do so. There is no grand jury indictment yet.
- 1:06:41Speaker 6: In a written opinion, Washington-based U.S. District Judge Trevor McFadden
- 1:06:47Speaker 6: granted Comey's request to unseal files in the criminal case
- 1:06:51Speaker 6: against him. The DOJ did not object to unsealing the
- 1:06:55Speaker 6: court docket. The order did not address Comey's pending motion
- 1:07:01Speaker 6: to dismiss, which argues that only a grand jury indictment,
- 1:07:06Speaker 6: not a criminal information, can keep the case alive once
- 1:07:12Speaker 6: the 10-year statute of limitations has run out. Charges under
- 1:07:16Speaker 6: the Espionage Act generally must be brought within 10 years
- 1:07:19Speaker 6: of the date of the alleged criminal act. The DOJ
- 1:07:22Speaker 6: says it has filed the criminal information to toll or
- 1:07:25Speaker 6: extend the statute of limitations on the offense that would
- 1:07:29Speaker 6: otherwise have expired earlier this month. So that's kind of
- 1:07:34Speaker 6: interesting that they're going after Comey again, literally on the
- 1:07:38Speaker 6: final day to do so. Do I think James Comey
- 1:07:42Speaker 6: was a dirtbag? Yeah, he absolutely was a complete dirtbag.
- 1:07:46Speaker 6: He still is a dirtbag. Doing things that he knows
- 1:07:49Speaker 6: could get him in trouble, just poking the bear, if
- 1:07:52Speaker 6: you will. A great big orange bear, okay? Probably the
- 1:07:57Speaker 6: orangest bear of all time. But that's what they do.
- 1:08:03Speaker 6: Sort of dirtbags. Do I think that he participated in illegality? 100%.
- 1:08:10Speaker 6: The Obama administration is probably one of the biggest criminal
- 1:08:13Speaker 6: organizations we have ever seen in the history of this country,
- 1:08:16Speaker 6: only to be outdone by the Biden administration, who was
- 1:08:20Speaker 6: part of the original Obama administration. So there you go.
- 1:08:26Speaker 6: They were doing things like they were tailing. They sent
- 1:08:31Speaker 6: the feds to tap the phones and tailed a reporter,
- 1:08:36Speaker 6: Fox News reporter James Rosen. People are like, oh, Fox News, blah, blah, blah. No,
- 1:08:41Speaker 6: hold on. He's a reporter for Fox News, and they
- 1:08:45Speaker 6: were surveilling him. They lied to obtain FISA warrants. They
- 1:08:53Speaker 6: lied about Russia collusion. The Obama administration was headlong in
- 1:08:58Speaker 6: with all of that. Will anything happen to these dirtbags?
- 1:09:03Speaker 6: I don't know. They're really good lawyers. They're exceptionally sleazy
- 1:09:07Speaker 6: and especially slippery. It is amazing how slippery they truly are. Anyway,
- 1:09:17Speaker 6: if you want to join us, 281-558-KSEV, 281-558-5738. Also, what
- 1:09:26Speaker 6: we saw during the Biden administration. The way they weaponized
- 1:09:32Speaker 6: that last election before 2024 and 2020. All of the
- 1:09:38Speaker 6: weird inconsistencies, all of the weird things that happened, the lies,
- 1:09:42Speaker 6: the running off of poll workers, the violation of state legislatures,
- 1:09:46Speaker 6: and basically dared the judiciary to do anything about it
- 1:09:50Speaker 6: because they know the judiciary doesn't want anything to do
- 1:09:53Speaker 6: with any election. They'll throw it all out on standing,
- 1:09:55Speaker 6: and that's exactly what they did. And then say, well,
- 1:09:59Speaker 6: you can't say there was any fraud. There was no
- 1:10:01Speaker 6: voter fraud. Now you know why President Trump has come
- 1:10:04Speaker 6: out saying he'll provide $ 1 million to anyone who reports
- 1:10:07Speaker 6: any instances of voter fraud that leads to an arrest
- 1:10:10Speaker 6: or conviction. Anybody reporting voter fraud in the past elections
- 1:10:18Speaker 6: or in the upcoming 2026 midterm election will be paid
- 1:10:21Speaker 6: $ 1 million upon the arrest and conviction of those that
- 1:10:25Speaker 6: created the fraud. Trump wrote in the Truth Social Post,
- 1:10:30Speaker 6: and he writes in that accent, by the way. I'm
- 1:10:33Speaker 6: also going to be issuing a million dollar bonus or
- 1:10:36Speaker 6: reward or whatever you want to call it for anybody
- 1:10:39Speaker 6: that reports voter fraud leading to the arrest and conviction
- 1:10:42Speaker 6: of somebody. He told reporters on Monday, we're giving that
- 1:10:46Speaker 6: person a million dollars. The FBI offers cash rewards to
- 1:10:50Speaker 6: encourage members of the public to provide law enforcement and Well,
- 1:10:55Speaker 6: the bureaus with information to solve crimes or locate fugitives. Meanwhile,
- 1:11:00Speaker 6: the Department of Justice recently established a fraud enforcement task
- 1:11:04Speaker 6: for that will provide a force that will provide ten
- 1:11:09Speaker 6: thousand to thirty thousand dollars for tipsters who provide information
- 1:11:12Speaker 6: leading to the arrest and conviction of a fraud suspect.
- 1:11:16Speaker 6: You guys remember Katherine Engelbrecht and Scott Phillips when they
- 1:11:19Speaker 6: provided tons of data and information on voter fraud in
- 1:11:22Speaker 6: the 2020 election? Did they get a million dollars?
- 1:11:25Speaker 14: No.
- 1:11:26Speaker 6: Did they get 10,000 or 30?
- 1:11:27Speaker 4: No.
- 1:11:27Speaker 6: No, they got thrown in jail during the next midterms
- 1:11:31Speaker 6: to make sure they couldn't follow what they were doing then.
- 1:11:36Speaker 6: That's how awesome the Biden administration is. 281-558-KSEV if you
- 1:11:43Speaker 6: want to join us. 281-558-5738. Let's go out to Stephen
- 1:11:47Speaker 6: listening in Tomball. Stephen, thanks for hanging on. Welcome to
- 1:11:50Speaker 6: Chris X Radio. Hey, Chris.
- 1:11:52Speaker 27: Thanks for taking my call. Hey, just a couple of things.
- 1:11:55Speaker 27: I haven't heard of these false news idiots complaining about
- 1:12:00Speaker 27: the gas dropping. I've seen it drop about 35 to
- 1:12:03Speaker 27: 40 cents in the last week and a half. I
- 1:12:06Speaker 27: haven't heard anything on that. And then also, You know,
- 1:12:10Speaker 27: I flip around on the channels, the news channels in
- 1:12:12Speaker 27: the morning and stuff. And NBC, Channel 11, Channel 13, ABC,
- 1:12:19Speaker 27: whatever local, they're always saying reported by CNN. So why
- 1:12:25Speaker 27: even bother them being on if they're getting all this
- 1:12:27Speaker 27: stuff from New York Times and CNN? It's happening here
- 1:12:30Speaker 27: in Houston. It's happening here in Texas. Why are they
- 1:12:33Speaker 27: going out of the state for that, for false news?
- 1:12:37Speaker 27: And I was trying to find out. if Cash could,
- 1:12:41Speaker 27: you know, shoot us a howdy-doody from up there when
- 1:12:44Speaker 27: he goes to the moon. But best of luck to him,
- 1:12:47Speaker 27: and we need the extra hour, and I'll volunteer a
- 1:12:51Speaker 27: couple of days to come over there and answer the
- 1:12:53Speaker 27: phones for you.
- 1:12:54Speaker 6: Hey, love the show.
- 1:12:55Speaker 27: You guys have a great day. Get out and vote, people.
- 1:12:57Speaker 6: All right, thanks for the call, Steve, and appreciate it.
- 1:12:59Speaker 6: And I appreciate you volunteering to answer the phones. Man,
- 1:13:02Speaker 6: that's kind of cool. It's going to put you to work.
- 1:13:04Speaker 6: You never know. But, yeah, Cash will have to give
- 1:13:08Speaker 6: us a big hello. I'm going to get a good
- 1:13:11Speaker 6: one of those telescopes and put it out in the
- 1:13:13Speaker 6: backyard and then zoom in, try to find out wherever
- 1:13:15Speaker 6: they station him on the moon, and then just kind
- 1:13:17Speaker 6: of get in. I want to see him give me
- 1:13:19Speaker 6: a big peace sign through a window up on the moon.
- 1:13:23Speaker 6: Knowing him, he'll put up poster boards so we can't
- 1:13:25Speaker 6: see what he's doing. Oh, no, I'm sorry. Those were
- 1:13:28Speaker 6: election workers in the 2020 election. Sorry, I got those confused.
- 1:13:33Speaker 6: By the way, you made some really interesting points. You
- 1:13:35Speaker 6: talk about the local news compared to the network news,
- 1:13:38Speaker 6: and then the local news reports goes to, like, CNN. Okay,
- 1:13:41Speaker 6: fake news. Fake news. The local news, for the most part,
- 1:13:45Speaker 6: is basically fake news. That's what they do. And they
- 1:13:48Speaker 6: have their their network buddies, basically their partners that they
- 1:13:52Speaker 6: partner with up on the network level. And then that's
- 1:13:55Speaker 6: where they go to to get their quote unquote information
- 1:13:58Speaker 6: or wherever. I don't know if you've noticed, but these newsrooms,
- 1:14:02Speaker 6: the locals and the networks are trimming down drastically here
- 1:14:07Speaker 6: over the last few years because people are tuning out
- 1:14:11Speaker 6: in droves. People, one, are tired of being misled. They're
- 1:14:14Speaker 6: tired of being misdirected, tired of being gaslit. So what's
- 1:14:18Speaker 6: happening is these newsrooms are slowly but surely becoming, is
- 1:14:23Speaker 6: it Fox 26? Where now the reporter slash anchor is
- 1:14:26Speaker 6: all the same person. They're running the chyrons and the board.
- 1:14:30Speaker 6: They sit in front of this massive board and they
- 1:14:32Speaker 6: run everything, kind of like what cash does. And that's
- 1:14:35Speaker 6: what's running your nightly news now in some of those areas.
- 1:14:38Speaker 6: Most of the cameras are now, they're robotic cameras. So
- 1:14:44Speaker 6: there's not even people operating those. But what's happening is
- 1:14:49Speaker 6: they're slowly but surely running themselves out of business. And
- 1:14:52Speaker 6: then Channel 2 changed their 10 p.m. news to something,
- 1:14:56Speaker 6: I can't even remember what it's called. But it's not
- 1:15:01Speaker 6: news anymore. It's like a program that airs for 30
- 1:15:03Speaker 6: minutes or whatever. I don't know. I haven't watched it.
- 1:15:06Speaker 6: The only time I have local or network news on
- 1:15:09Speaker 6: ever anymore is when I'm prepping for my show and
- 1:15:11Speaker 6: during my show. I keep the local news on just
- 1:15:14Speaker 6: to see in case something local happens where they cover.
- 1:15:16Speaker 6: Because local news does have a function where they can
- 1:15:19Speaker 6: cover things that are happening locally. So they have that
- 1:15:22Speaker 6: ability and they do it on occasion. So if there's
- 1:15:25Speaker 6: a police chase or whatever, gas leak or something like that,
- 1:15:28Speaker 6: I want to make sure that's on so I can
- 1:15:30Speaker 6: see what happens in the background and I'll report it
- 1:15:32Speaker 6: to you. But more often than not, They're just reporting
- 1:15:37Speaker 6: the same trash that CNN is reporting, and they're pushing
- 1:15:41Speaker 6: that off, and CNN is trash. I mean, CNN is
- 1:15:45Speaker 6: absolute trash, along with MSNOW, who used to be MSNBC,
- 1:15:50Speaker 6: which was absolute trash, and now it's absolute trash with
- 1:15:53Speaker 6: a Mrs. in front of it. I guess they married
- 1:15:56Speaker 6: the trash, so now it's MSNOW. And it's garbage. All
- 1:16:01Speaker 6: the ABC, NBC, CBS. Remember, was it ABC that just
- 1:16:04Speaker 6: had to pay? Donald Trump was like 15 or 30
- 1:16:08Speaker 6: million dollars or whatever because George Stephanopoulos is lying. They
- 1:16:14Speaker 6: get popped on a regular basis. They prey on the
- 1:16:16Speaker 6: fact that most people won't sue them. Most people don't.
- 1:16:21Speaker 6: But Donald Trump will. And he did. And they just
- 1:16:24Speaker 6: had to pay him a check for like 15 or
- 1:16:25Speaker 6: 30 million. It's not even about the money to Trump.
- 1:16:29Speaker 6: It's about, hey, you guys are liars. And they were
- 1:16:31Speaker 6: calling him a rapist. They know they can do that
- 1:16:34Speaker 6: because they know their little plebs who listen to talk
- 1:16:37Speaker 6: radio and run around and protest in the middle of
- 1:16:40Speaker 6: the street will run around screaming the same thing over
- 1:16:42Speaker 6: and over again because that's what they heard. That's what
- 1:16:45Speaker 6: they heard. So, but basically that's just their news partner.
- 1:16:50Speaker 6: So that's why you see the garbage. And once again,
- 1:16:52Speaker 6: most of them garbage. There are actually some local reporters
- 1:16:55Speaker 6: that are actually still pretty good, but there's not many
- 1:16:57Speaker 6: of them left. And they're slowly but surely being phased
- 1:17:00Speaker 6: out of the industry. So we'll see what happens with
- 1:17:04Speaker 6: the news industry. I used to be a news junkie.
- 1:17:06Speaker 6: Once again, I worked at Channel 11, KHOU News, back
- 1:17:10Speaker 6: in 99, 2000, somewhere around there. I was only there
- 1:17:15Speaker 6: about three months. Couldn't stomach it. For one, I was
- 1:17:17Speaker 6: getting paid minimum wage. That was ridiculous. But to help
- 1:17:22Speaker 6: produce the morning shows, and I just wasn't going to
- 1:17:24Speaker 6: stick around through that. It was horrible. and I never
- 1:17:27Speaker 6: wanted to do. I was a news junkie. I enjoy it,
- 1:17:30Speaker 6: or I did at the time, but I was a
- 1:17:32Speaker 6: news junkie for decades watching multiple news, the network and
- 1:17:37Speaker 6: the local. I don't watch any of it anymore because
- 1:17:40Speaker 6: it's just trash. All right, 281-558-KSEB. If you want to
- 1:17:44Speaker 6: join us, 281-558-5738. You're listening to Chris X Radio. We'll

- 1:17:59Speaker 11: Mike Schofield, working for us.
- 1:18:01Speaker 8: I believe qualified students applying for good-paying jobs after graduation
- 1:18:06Speaker 8: should have real opportunities. We dedicated over $ 150 million to
- 1:18:11Speaker 8: expand technical education programs across Texas. We need to keep
- 1:18:15Speaker 8: working to help our public school students and teachers. I
- 1:18:18Speaker 8: champion legislation that provides pay raises for public school librarians, counselors, nurses,
- 1:18:23Speaker 8: and teachers who take on harder teaching jobs. I'm Mike Schofield,
- 1:18:27Speaker 8: and I will always keep you and your family first.
- 1:18:30Speaker 6: Thank you.
- 1:18:40Speaker 8: Including banning behavioral manipulation, social scoring, and deep fakes, preventing
- 1:18:45Speaker 8: sexual predators and big tech from preying on our innocent kids.
- 1:18:48Speaker 8: It's important we stay vigilant to protect our families and
- 1:18:52Speaker 8: especially our kids from the criminals that are lurking on
- 1:18:54Speaker 8: the internet. Early voting is.
- 1:18:56Speaker 11: Going on now.

- 1:20:01Speaker 11: As a Texan, you deserve your court system to deliver
- 1:20:04Speaker 11: justice that is fair, understandable, and within reach. Chief Justice
- 1:20:09Speaker 11: Jimmy Blacklock says that starts with judges applying the law
- 1:20:12Speaker 11: as written so the rules don't change depending on who
- 1:20:15Speaker 11: walks into the courtroom. But fairness also means a court
- 1:20:18Speaker 11: system that works for.
- 1:20:19Speaker 6: The people it serves.
- 1:20:20Speaker 11: Blacklock has called for reducing unnecessary delays and expenses, simplifying
- 1:20:25Speaker 11: court procedures, and making legal services more affordable. Because a
- 1:20:29Speaker 11: case should be decided on the facts and the law,
- 1:20:32Speaker 11: not on who can afford the longest fight. Texas courts
- 1:20:35Speaker 11: belong to the people. That means judges should be accountable,
- 1:20:39Speaker 11: rules should be clear, and the system should be accessible
- 1:20:42Speaker 11: to those who rely on it. For Blacklock, equal justice
- 1:20:45Speaker 11: means more than a principle. It means a court system
- 1:20:48Speaker 11: Texans can understand, trust, and afford to use. Chief Justice
- 1:20:52Speaker 11: Jimmy Blacklock. Clear rules. Accountable courts. Equal justice under law.
- 1:20:58Speaker 6: Political ad paid for by the Jimmy Blacklock campaign.
- 1:21:01Speaker 3: And now, back to Chris X Radio on The Voice
- 1:21:04Speaker 3: of Texas.
- 1:21:16Speaker 6: You know, it's funny, this song Everlong by the Blue Flyers,
- 1:21:19Speaker 6: great song. The video would seem like it would something,
- 1:21:22Speaker 6: it'd be like going and living on the moon. It
- 1:21:25Speaker 6: seems like it. During the break, I just received this
- 1:21:29Speaker 6: text message. Christopher X, can you quickly confirm your party
- 1:21:32Speaker 6: affiliation for the midterm elections? Verify. Stop to end. Stop.
- 1:21:43Speaker 6: I don't answer polls. I guess I'm truly one of
- 1:21:45Speaker 6: those Trump voters. It's funny because you would think they
- 1:21:48Speaker 6: would know who I was, but they don't. Also, by
- 1:21:51Speaker 6: the way, welcome back to Chris X Radio. If you
- 1:21:53Speaker 6: want to join us, 281-558-KCB, 281-558-5738. Just saw cold front
- 1:21:55Speaker 6: blowing in next week. One of the models from fake
- 1:21:58Speaker 6: news KPRC2 in Houston says next week a cold front
- 1:22:01Speaker 6: could be blowing in. Progress through the state early in
- 1:22:13Speaker 6: the week could pass through southeast Texas by Election Day
- 1:22:17Speaker 6: on Tuesday, reinforcing colder air that will likely arrive later
- 1:22:22Speaker 6: in the week, leading to the coldest mornings possibly on
- 1:22:26Speaker 6: Thursday or Friday. We're talking, they're looking at wind chills
- 1:22:29Speaker 6: in the 30s and 40s.
- 1:22:32Speaker 2: Woo!
- 1:22:34Speaker 6: That's as Elton John would say, it's cold as hell.
- 1:22:38Speaker 6: That's cold as hell. Well, for here it is. It's
- 1:22:43Speaker 6: not really that cold. I'm ready for some cool weather.
- 1:22:46Speaker 6: And that's just in time for what is the hunt season, right?
- 1:22:49Speaker 6: Because next week is, I think deer season or rifle
- 1:22:55Speaker 6: whitetail season starts next, not this Saturday, which is Halloween,
- 1:22:59Speaker 6: but the following. So it's hunt season. That's when all
- 1:23:02Speaker 6: the hunters are going to get all geared up and go. Man,
- 1:23:05Speaker 6: they like the colder weather. I'm ready for some colder weather.
- 1:23:08Speaker 6: I'm going to have to look and see what it
- 1:23:09Speaker 6: is up in the hill country. I usually don't get
- 1:23:12Speaker 6: up there. You got too much going on through election day.
- 1:23:16Speaker 6: And of course you can then fall out immediately after
- 1:23:18Speaker 6: all that stuff. So I usually, I'll probably get back
- 1:23:21Speaker 6: up there probably around Thanksgiving, maybe, maybe one of the
- 1:23:25Speaker 6: weekends before, but I'm not a deer hunter. So it
- 1:23:29Speaker 6: doesn't really make any difference to me, but I do
- 1:23:31Speaker 6: like to get up there when it's nice and cold
- 1:23:33Speaker 6: up there. Nice and chilly and makes the, puts the
- 1:23:36Speaker 6: snakes to bed. They all go and, Try to hibernate
- 1:23:40Speaker 6: or stay in, I guess, get up in the rocks.
- 1:23:42Speaker 6: Those animals are crazy. But could be some good hogging weather.
- 1:23:48Speaker 6: Go do a little hogging. So anyway, by the way,
- 1:23:55Speaker 6: I appreciate our caller. He was talking about the fake
- 1:23:57Speaker 6: news and how it is. Well, that's one of the
- 1:23:59Speaker 6: other reasons to watch the news. Generally, what's so funny
- 1:24:02Speaker 6: is generally with just regular weather, they do okay. I mean,
- 1:24:06Speaker 6: they're never... Like I said, if you want to know
- 1:24:08Speaker 6: how accurate the news is, watch The Meteorologist. Say they're
- 1:24:11Speaker 6: right sort of along the lines on how accurate they are.
- 1:24:15Speaker 6: But anytime there's a big storm happening, anytime something is
- 1:24:19Speaker 6: going on, watching them just lose their minds and go
- 1:24:22Speaker 6: crazy and predicting the worst, which once again, I understand
- 1:24:26Speaker 6: they've got to make sure they prepare everybody for the worst, but.
- 1:24:31Speaker 6: When it comes to these storms, it's so funny. I
- 1:24:33Speaker 6: have a friend that always texts me. Every time there's
- 1:24:35Speaker 6: a storm out anywhere, it's even remotely starting to form.
- 1:24:39Speaker 6: Hurricane's coming. I'm like, there hasn't been... There's only been
- 1:24:42Speaker 6: one hurricane in the Gulf this entire year. And it
- 1:24:47Speaker 6: was that one that apparently didn't do too much damage.
- 1:24:50Speaker 6: Did a little bit. But that's the only one this year.
- 1:24:53Speaker 6: Everything else has been... This is.
- 1:24:57Speaker 6: Cash, do you remember, is this an El Nino year,
- 1:24:59Speaker 6: or is this a La Nina year, but it's cooler,
- 1:25:02Speaker 6: so we haven't had as many storms, do you know?
- 1:25:04Speaker 12: Last I heard, it was El.
- 1:25:06Speaker 6: Okay, so it's El Nino... And we get the cooler weather.
- 1:25:10Speaker 6: You know what's interesting? We had some a while back,
- 1:25:13Speaker 6: a month or so ago, I do believe. We had
- 1:25:15Speaker 6: some of that Saharan dust. That tends to dry the
- 1:25:19Speaker 6: air up, too, over the ocean. So that kind of
- 1:25:22Speaker 6: quells a lot of the storms from forming. Now, on
- 1:25:24Speaker 6: the other side, over on the Mexico side, not on
- 1:25:27Speaker 6: the Gulf, but on the other ocean, Pacific, we've seen
- 1:25:31Speaker 6: a lot of storms. In fact, we got a lot
- 1:25:32Speaker 6: of rain from one of the hurricanes.
- 1:25:34Speaker 2: So.
- 1:25:35Speaker 6: occasionally that happens but as far as the gulf man
- 1:25:38Speaker 6: this is the quietest i've seen the gulf in a
- 1:25:41Speaker 6: long time it was funny for a while every year
- 1:25:44Speaker 6: they were predicting all these hurricanes that were going to
- 1:25:46Speaker 6: hit you know like right after the hurricane actually hit
- 1:25:49Speaker 6: they wanted everybody freaked out everybody's scared and then we
- 1:25:52Speaker 6: don't get too many now once again i'm not complaining
- 1:25:57Speaker 6: I don't want any hurricanes. Last time we got, well,
- 1:25:59Speaker 6: you know, Merrill came through, created some damage, which is
- 1:26:02Speaker 6: why I'm looking at, is it base power? I'll be
- 1:26:08Speaker 6: checking them out. I have to renew my power either
- 1:26:10Speaker 6: in January or go with a new provider. I may
- 1:26:13Speaker 6: go with base power. They provide a battery backup for
- 1:26:17Speaker 6: like up to 36 hours, which is how many days
- 1:26:21Speaker 6: is 36 hours, Cash? Is that three full days?
- 1:26:25Speaker 23: Yes, sir.
- 1:26:28Speaker 6: Threw him on the spot, making him mad in his head.
- 1:26:30Speaker 6: So that's okay. So 24 hours is two full days,
- 1:26:33Speaker 6: 36 hours. I think that would pretty much get me
- 1:26:35Speaker 6: through most things. So they have that or whatever. So
- 1:26:39Speaker 6: I may end up doing something along those lines. It's
- 1:26:41Speaker 6: time for a change. Now, lately, the power hasn't really
- 1:26:44Speaker 6: gone out over here. Knock on wood. Hear that? Me
- 1:26:47Speaker 6: knocking on wood. But it's been good. But we haven't
- 1:26:53Speaker 6: had many big storms. It used to for a period
- 1:26:57Speaker 6: here last year, it got to where every time it rained,
- 1:27:00Speaker 6: every time it sprinkled, the power went out over here.
- 1:27:03Speaker 6: And it'd be out for two to four to six hours,
- 1:27:05Speaker 6: which is generally, but the year we had Hurricane Beryl,
- 1:27:07Speaker 6: which knocked it out for two or three days. We
- 1:27:09Speaker 6: had the winter storm, which knocked it out for like
- 1:27:11Speaker 6: four or five days. And then we had the derecho.
- 1:27:15Speaker 6: You guys remember that? That knocked the power out in
- 1:27:17Speaker 6: my area for about three or four days. That derecho
- 1:27:20Speaker 6: was crazy. I remember driving down 290 and looking at
- 1:27:24Speaker 6: those big transformers or whatever that hold the power lines.
- 1:27:27Speaker 6: I don't know if they're transformers, whatever. But those things
- 1:27:30Speaker 6: were just folded over and destroyed by that derecho. It
- 1:27:33Speaker 6: was insane. So after all that, I went, you know what?
- 1:27:37Speaker 6: Maybe I do need some sort of a backup. I
- 1:27:39Speaker 6: wanted to get a generator, but I don't like the
- 1:27:43Speaker 6: gases put all by the generator. I don't like the
- 1:27:45Speaker 6: fact you got to run it on a regular basis.
- 1:27:46Speaker 6: A lot of people, you know, get a generator and
- 1:27:49Speaker 6: then powered up. I want one of those automatic backup
- 1:27:51Speaker 6: things and base power seems fairly reasonable. So I may
- 1:27:55Speaker 6: go with that. I'm not sure. There's a lot of
- 1:27:57Speaker 6: other organizations that, that do it as well. So I'll,
- 1:28:01Speaker 6: I'll start seriously looking in December, but yeah, But we'll see.
- 1:28:06Speaker 6: But I'm leaning towards that. So we should. Anyway, let's
- 1:28:10Speaker 6: let's take a break. We got two segments remaining here
- 1:28:13Speaker 6: on our two for Taco Tuesday. Cash, should I have
- 1:28:18Speaker 6: tacos for dinner? What do you say? Should I get
- 1:28:20Speaker 6: two of them? At least. Man, there you go. You know,
- 1:28:26Speaker 6: that's true. I mean, unless you got other stuff to
- 1:28:28Speaker 6: go along with the two tacos aren't enough. But then again,
- 1:28:31Speaker 6: we still live in America, the greatest country that has
- 1:28:33Speaker 6: ever existed in the world. If you don't believe me,
- 1:28:36Speaker 6: travel to Europe and try to get free chips and
- 1:28:38Speaker 6: salsa when you go to a restaurant. Which, by the way,
- 1:28:43Speaker 6: think about gringos. They got good chips and salsa.
- 1:28:48Speaker 11: Oh, man.
- 1:28:49Speaker 6: Chewy's, that creamy jalapeno stuff. That's like the greatest stuff ever.
- 1:28:57Speaker 6: All right, 281-558-KSEV, 281-558-5739. Chris X will be right back.
- 1:29:02Speaker 6: Don't go away.
- 1:29:05Speaker 3: Chris X Radio.
- 1:29:08Speaker 37: In the race for governor, it's chaos versus common sense. First,
- 1:29:12Speaker 37: the chaos brought to you by Gina Hinojosa. She supports
- 1:29:16Speaker 37: open border policies so anyone can just walk in illegally.
- 1:29:20Speaker 37: And once they do, Hinojosa would allow them to vote
- 1:29:23Speaker 37: and get taxpayer-funded health care. Gina Hinojosa favors a state
- 1:29:26Speaker 37: income tax and voted 40 times for higher property taxes.
- 1:29:30Speaker 37: And Hinojosa would threaten your safety because she supports defunding
- 1:29:34Speaker 37: the police and letting violent criminals out of jail.
- 1:29:37Speaker 28: But don't worry, because Governor Greg Abbott leads with common sense.
- 1:29:41Speaker 28: Abbott secured the border and cracked down on the deadly
- 1:29:44Speaker 28: drug cartels. He banned a state income tax so you
- 1:29:47Speaker 28: keep more of your money and Texas remains number one
- 1:29:50Speaker 28: in job creation. And Governor Abbott keeps you safe by
- 1:29:54Speaker 28: fully funding the police and keeping violent criminals locked up.
- 1:29:57Speaker 3: That's the choice, Texas.
- 1:29:59Speaker 28: The chaos that Gina Hinojosa would bring or the common
- 1:30:02Speaker 28: sense leadership of Governor Greg Abbott.
- 1:30:05Speaker 6: Political ad paid for by Texans for Greg Abbott.
- 1:30:08Speaker 24: Do you need money? Want to lower your monthly debt?
- 1:30:10Speaker 24: Are you thinking about a cash-out refinance? Hi, it's Kathy
- 1:30:14Speaker 24: from Baker Mortgage. A cash-out refinance can get you back
- 1:30:17Speaker 24: in your comfort zone, and that's what it's all about.
- 1:30:20Speaker 24: A recent client who closed with us had his payment
- 1:30:23Speaker 24: go up about $ 300, but his monthly outgo was being
- 1:30:27Speaker 24: reduced by $ 1, 200, so giving him a net positive cash
- 1:30:31Speaker 24: flow of $ 900. It's not about adding debt, but restructuring
- 1:30:35Speaker 24: it in a way that makes sense. And this math
- 1:30:38Speaker 24: totally makes sense. And please don't sweat it if your
- 1:30:41Speaker 24: interest rate is going up a little or if you're
- 1:30:43Speaker 24: extending the term. I can show you by taking a
- 1:30:46Speaker 24: small amount of what you're saving monthly and applying it
- 1:30:49Speaker 24: towards your mortgage, you're going to pay it off just
- 1:30:52Speaker 24: as quickly and you'll be way ahead in the money game,
- 1:30:55Speaker 24: which is where we all want to be, right? Remember,
- 1:30:57Speaker 24: we want to help you. But we're not going to
- 1:30:59Speaker 24: help you over a cliff. Baker Mortgage, 281-313-MOVE or go

- 1:31:25Speaker 38: largest selection. Everything for Halloween party perfection. With savings this good,
- 1:31:31Speaker 38: there's nothing to fear. Celebrate with Specs.
- 1:31:35Speaker 11: The fun starts here.
- 1:31:38Speaker 39: A Soros-funded Democrat district attorney. More than 900 people charged
- 1:31:44Speaker 39: with murder, free on bond. Democrat judges who don't care
- 1:31:48Speaker 39: about your safety. We must stop the insanity in Harris County.
- 1:31:53Speaker 39: And 495th Criminal District Court Judge Lori D'Angelo is working
- 1:31:58Speaker 39: hard to do just that and keep our families safe.
- 1:32:02Speaker 39: Twice appointed by Governor Greg Abbott, Republican Judge Lori D'Angelo
- 1:32:06Speaker 39: needs your vote to continue to fight for us by
- 1:32:10Speaker 39: holding criminals accountable. Unlike her Democrat opponent, Judge DeAngelo's 20
- 1:32:15Speaker 39: years of experience as a felony prosecutor in the Harris
- 1:32:18Speaker 39: County District Attorney's Office has enabled her to run an efficient, fair, prepared,
- 1:32:24Speaker 39: and principled court. Vote as if your life depends on it.
- 1:32:29Speaker 39: Vote for tough-on-crime Republican Judge Lori DeAngelo. Political advertising paid
- 1:32:34Speaker 39: for by the Lori DeAngelo Campaign.
- 1:32:37Speaker 1: From the KSEV Weather Center, tonight will be mostly cloudy
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: with a low of 66°. Tomorrow, expect sunshine filtered by
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: passing clouds and a high of 83. Tomorrow night will
- 1:32:46Speaker 1: be mainly clear with a low of 64. On Thursday,
- 1:32:49Speaker 1: look for sun along with the areas of high clouds
- 1:32:51Speaker 1: reaching a high of 84. Friday will bring mostly cloudy
- 1:32:54Speaker 1: conditions with a passing shower and a high of 81.
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: Saturday will see shifting clouds and sun accompanied by a
- 1:32:59Speaker 1: couple of showers and a thunderstorm with a high of 83.
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: With the KSCB Weather Center forecast, I'm AccuWeather Meteorologist Jason Catarina.
- 1:33:12Speaker 3: And now, we return you to your regularly scheduled dose
- 1:33:15Speaker 3: of common sense. Chris X Radio.
- 1:33:35Speaker 6: King's X Action. A little band from Houston. Why they
- 1:33:40Speaker 6: relocated to Houston, I have no idea. They rock, though.
- 1:33:45Speaker 6: They're fun. Welcome back to Chris X Radio. We've got
- 1:33:48Speaker 6: this segment and one more remaining, so if you want
- 1:33:50Speaker 6: to join us. Has anybody gone out and early voted today?
- 1:33:52Speaker 6: I know a lot of people have went and early
- 1:33:54Speaker 6: voted here in this season. We've got through Friday, the 30th,
- 1:33:58Speaker 6: the day before Halloween, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., you
- 1:34:01Speaker 6: can get out and early vote. So if you want
- 1:34:03Speaker 6: to get out and early vote, now's a good time
- 1:34:05Speaker 6: to do so. But has anyone early voted today? I
- 1:34:08Speaker 6: haven't heard from anyone today that early voted and want
- 1:34:11Speaker 6: to get your experiences. So if you did, feel free
- 1:34:13Speaker 6: to call us or if you just want to weigh in, 2-8-1-5-5-8-K-S-E-V, 2-8-1-5-5-8-5-7-3-8.
- 1:34:17Speaker 6: You know, I was talking about, you know, the Chewies
- 1:34:21Speaker 6: and Gringos in the last segment. I forgot to mention
- 1:34:24Speaker 6: last week, one of the days last week after the show,
- 1:34:27Speaker 6: I ended up going to eat and I went to
- 1:34:29Speaker 6: Willie's Ice House, the one over located at 290 and
- 1:34:32Speaker 6: Jones Road. It's right there on Jones Road and 290.
- 1:34:35Speaker 6: And I went in, and the guy behind the little
- 1:34:37Speaker 6: bar where you order, super tall. Guy's really tall. And
- 1:34:41Speaker 6: he was excellent. He was great. And he asked me
- 1:34:43Speaker 6: what I did. Did I just get off work? I said, yeah.
- 1:34:45Speaker 6: And he goes, what are you doing? I said, I'm
- 1:34:46Speaker 6: a talk show host. really where? And I told him,
- 1:34:49Speaker 6: he goes, man, that's cool. He says, will you mention this?
- 1:34:52Speaker 6: I was like, I said, I talk about whenever I
- 1:34:54Speaker 6: go somewhere or services that I use from people, I
- 1:34:57Speaker 6: talk about them all the time. It's part of my
- 1:34:59Speaker 6: regular thing. If I get good service somewhere, I like
- 1:35:02Speaker 6: to talk about it because I understand generally when you
- 1:35:05Speaker 6: go somewhere and get good service, roughly they'll tell three
- 1:35:08Speaker 6: out of 10 people, three out of 10 people will
- 1:35:10Speaker 6: tell they got good service. usually if someone gets bad service,
- 1:35:14Speaker 6: then 7 out of 10 people will tell others. So
- 1:35:17Speaker 6: I like to do the exact opposite. I like to
- 1:35:19Speaker 6: go when I get good service somewhere or get good food.
- 1:35:22Speaker 6: And I've been to that Willie's Ice House many, many times.
- 1:35:26Speaker 6: But he was the first one that ever asked me
- 1:35:28Speaker 6: what I did. He was really nice, was good. So
- 1:35:31Speaker 6: I said, sure, yeah, I'll mention you guys. So Willie's
- 1:35:33Speaker 6: Ice House right there, 290 and Jones Road. So if
- 1:35:37Speaker 6: you go there, say, hey, listen, I was listening to
- 1:35:38Speaker 6: Chris X Radio yesterday. And I heard him mention you guys.
- 1:35:41Speaker 6: He said, you guys did a great job. And they did.
- 1:35:43Speaker 6: They always take care of me. They take care of everybody.
- 1:35:45Speaker 6: It's not just me. They had no idea I was
- 1:35:47Speaker 6: the infamous Chris X until last week. And I still
- 1:35:53Speaker 6: never even said my name. I just told them that
- 1:35:54Speaker 6: I worked in radio. Told them the station. Told them
- 1:35:57Speaker 6: to tune in if you wanted. But, yeah, absolutely. So
- 1:36:00Speaker 6: if you happen to go there. I didn't check. You
- 1:36:02Speaker 6: know what's funny, though? I noticed that the menu has
- 1:36:04Speaker 6: changed a lot. So I used to love the fried
- 1:36:08Speaker 6: mozzarella there. I don't know if they still have it,
- 1:36:09Speaker 6: but I didn't see it on the menu. And the
- 1:36:11Speaker 6: menu had changed a bunch. I don't even remember what
- 1:36:15Speaker 6: I got. But it's always pretty good. I like that.
- 1:36:19Speaker 6: I like the burgers. They're good there. They used to
- 1:36:22Speaker 6: have these little hamburger tacos that are pretty good, like
- 1:36:25Speaker 6: soft-boiled tacos. Those are good. I like that. I have
- 1:36:28Speaker 6: good seafood as well. But like I said, I've enjoyed...
- 1:36:33Speaker 6: You know, looks at a lot of their stuff. I mean,
- 1:36:35Speaker 6: it's like they're, it's one of those, one of my
- 1:36:37Speaker 6: regular places that I'll go on a semi-regular basis. So anyway,
- 1:36:42Speaker 6: but if you head out to Jones Road right there
- 1:36:45Speaker 6: at 290, if you go to the Willie's Ice House
- 1:36:47Speaker 6: right there and go eat, tell them that you heard
- 1:36:49Speaker 6: it on Chris X Radio on 700 AM and let
- 1:36:52Speaker 6: them know that you heard. So I gave him a
- 1:36:53Speaker 6: shout out. So I just want to let you know.
- 1:36:57Speaker 6: All right, 281-558-KSEV. If you want to join us, 281-558-5738.
- 1:37:00Speaker 6: All right, looks like we've got the royal wonder on
- 1:37:04Speaker 6: the line. We've got Prince listening in Conroe. Prince, thanks
- 1:37:08Speaker 6: for hanging on. Welcome to Chris X Radio.
- 1:37:11Speaker 29: Yes, I voted today, and it was very, very busy
- 1:37:16Speaker 29: in Montgomery County.
- 1:37:18Speaker 6: Okay, did you vote in Conroe? Where did you vote at?
- 1:37:22Speaker 2: At the library, the Montgomery County Library.
- 1:37:25Speaker 6: Okay. And how long did it take you overall?
- 1:37:28Speaker 2: Gosh, it took about an hour.
- 1:37:31Speaker 6: Wow. And there was a line outside the building. Man, still,
- 1:37:36Speaker 6: I know we've had a caller who's told us, you know, hey,
- 1:37:38Speaker 6: if you don't want to stay in the line, go
- 1:37:39Speaker 6: over to the Willis location. But so you're still seeing
- 1:37:42Speaker 6: an hour wait even through today when voting. What time
- 1:37:45Speaker 6: of the day did you go vote? Do you remember?
- 1:37:47Speaker 6: It was about around 4 o'clock.
- 1:37:51Speaker 27: Okay, man, so, yeah, that's... So it wasn't even, yeah,
- 1:37:54Speaker 27: it was kind of an off time, even.
- 1:37:56Speaker 6: Yeah, no kidding.
- 1:37:57Speaker 24: Wow.
- 1:37:57Speaker 6: Well, thanks for the call, Prince. I appreciate it. That's, man,
- 1:38:00Speaker 6: that's interesting. So they're still busy, which tells me if
- 1:38:03Speaker 6: it's still busy in Conroe, it's still busy at a
- 1:38:05Speaker 6: lot of locations. I know it was busy yesterday. I
- 1:38:08Speaker 6: had multiple people reach out to me yesterday and told me, hey, yeah, still.
- 1:38:12Speaker 7: It was well.
- 1:38:13Speaker 6: You know, it's funny, like I said, I voted over at,
- 1:38:15Speaker 6: once again, over there near... the Jersey Village location, not
- 1:38:19Speaker 6: too far from 290 and Jones Road. I went over
- 1:38:21Speaker 6: there and voted on Friday, and I went during the lunchtime,
- 1:38:25Speaker 6: and the parking lot was really full, which I'd heard
- 1:38:27Speaker 6: a report last week. Someone said, hey, I want to
- 1:38:30Speaker 6: go vote there. Parking lot was full. They parked. I
- 1:38:33Speaker 6: thought they were going to wait. Stood in line for
- 1:38:34Speaker 6: a little bit, but was in and out in about
- 1:38:35Speaker 6: 15 minutes. I was in and out in 10 minutes.
- 1:38:38Speaker 6: The parking lot was very full. I had to go
- 1:38:41Speaker 6: park in an area that I've never parked at or
- 1:38:43Speaker 6: not far further away than I normally would. But when
- 1:38:46Speaker 6: I walked up, walked in, you know, the lady was
- 1:38:47Speaker 6: giving me a third degree turn. Make sure your phone's off.
- 1:38:50Speaker 6: Have you have your ID? And I showed her I
- 1:38:51Speaker 6: had all of it. And then I walked over and
- 1:38:53Speaker 6: stood in line. There's about 10 people in front of me.
- 1:38:55Speaker 6: And they very quickly were taken in, taking their deal
- 1:38:58Speaker 6: and did it. Now, like I said, I was in
- 1:38:59Speaker 6: and out, took me maybe five minutes. The only issue
- 1:39:04Speaker 6: that I had voting was with my paper, the paper,
- 1:39:09Speaker 6: the machine didn't want to accept my paper. And then
- 1:39:11Speaker 6: I had the voter, the poll worker came over and
- 1:39:13Speaker 6: she grabbed the sheet and just pushed it in a
- 1:39:14Speaker 6: little further. And then the machine caught it and it
- 1:39:16Speaker 6: did fine. But I didn't want to. you know, try
- 1:39:19Speaker 6: to pressure it because I don't use the machines except
- 1:39:21Speaker 6: when I vote and don't know too much about them. So,
- 1:39:24Speaker 6: but that was the only issue I had. And then
- 1:39:26Speaker 6: I voted, it was 114 pages as you go through.
- 1:39:29Speaker 6: So I went through and just, and there's only one
- 1:39:31Speaker 6: race on each page, voted all Republican, flew through it,
- 1:39:35Speaker 6: voted against all the propositions because they're all tax increases.
- 1:39:39Speaker 6: So I voted against every one of those. And I
- 1:39:41Speaker 6: took my piece of paper over to the other machine,
- 1:39:43Speaker 6: put it in, it took it fine. They said, Your
- 1:39:45Speaker 6: vote is counted. The one thing I did, I guess
- 1:39:47Speaker 6: they had already run out for the day maybe, was
- 1:39:49Speaker 6: I didn't get a sticker. Of course, I really didn't
- 1:39:51Speaker 6: look for one. So I did not post the obligatory,
- 1:39:55Speaker 6: I just voted with a sticker that everybody else does.
- 1:39:59Speaker 6: Got to virtue signal your votes. By the way, Prince
- 1:40:04Speaker 6: sounded very different on the phone than he does on
- 1:40:05Speaker 6: his albums. But I was very informative. So I appreciate that.
- 1:40:10Speaker 6: So once again, looks like Conroe's keeping busy. I imagine
- 1:40:13Speaker 6: they'll be if they're busy through here through Wednesday or Tuesday, Wednesday,
- 1:40:18Speaker 6: Thursday and Friday, they'll probably be busy the last three
- 1:40:19Speaker 6: days of early voting. But that's crazy. Waiting an hour
- 1:40:24Speaker 6: to early vote here a week and a half into
- 1:40:26Speaker 6: early voting. That's nuts. And cash you early voted last week.
- 1:40:31Speaker 6: Was it like last Wednesday? And you said you really
- 1:40:33Speaker 6: didn't have you didn't wait too long.
- 1:40:35Speaker 9: Yeah, it was last Wednesday, and it was about 40
- 1:40:39Speaker 9: minutes all in.
- 1:40:40Speaker 6: Okay, so it's a little longer there. You voted somewhere
- 1:40:43Speaker 6: out on the west side. I'm not exactly sure.
- 1:40:45Speaker 9: Yeah, over near Katy, in the Katy Library, actually.
- 1:40:48Speaker 6: Oh, okay, the Katy Library. All right. Man, once again,
- 1:40:52Speaker 6: historic turnout. We're going to break all the early voting records,
- 1:40:54Speaker 6: hands down. So there you go. All right, well, let's
- 1:40:58Speaker 6: go ahead and take a break, and then we'll come
- 1:40:58Speaker 6: back and wrap up today's show. Thanks for the call, Prince.
- 1:41:00Speaker 6: I appreciate you giving me a heads up. You're the
- 1:41:02Speaker 6: first and only one I've heard from today regarding early
- 1:41:05Speaker 6: voting today. But a lot of people have gotten out
- 1:41:07Speaker 6: and early voted. People that aren't traditionally early voters have
- 1:41:10Speaker 6: gone out and early voted. One of my brothers, he
- 1:41:15Speaker 6: was always an Election Day voter, man. He voted first
- 1:41:17Speaker 6: day of early voting. I was like, wow. A lot
- 1:41:21Speaker 6: of people are getting out and doing the early voting thing.
- 1:41:23Speaker 6: Once again, I... I prefer if for some reason there's
- 1:41:27Speaker 6: an issue or whatever, you've got time to get it
- 1:41:29Speaker 6: taken care of. I saw the shenanigans by the elections administrator.
- 1:41:33Speaker 6: I think it was Cliff Tatum, Clifford Tatum. And that
- 1:41:38Speaker 6: was after the previous elections administrator, Isabel Longoria, who was
- 1:41:43Speaker 6: just as bad as him. Both of those leftist dirtbags
- 1:41:46Speaker 6: came in and botched Harris County elections. And was it
- 1:41:49Speaker 6: 27 precincts ran out of paper on election day? And
- 1:41:52Speaker 6: they couldn't find the guy in charge of it. He
- 1:41:54Speaker 6: was at his other job. He didn't respond until after 6.
- 1:41:59Speaker 6: 281-558-KSEV if you want to join us for the final
- 1:42:02Speaker 6: segment of the program. We'll be right back. Don't go away.
- 1:42:04Speaker 3: You're listening to Chris X Radio on The Voice of Texas.
- 1:42:08Speaker 19: Harris County just passed one of the highest property tax
- 1:42:11Speaker 19: increases in history.
- 1:42:12Speaker 6: Hi, this is Steve Drake.
- 1:42:14Speaker 19: I've spent over 20 years on KSCV talking about being
- 1:42:17Speaker 19: financially responsible. That's why I'm supporting Orlando Sanchez for county judge.
- 1:42:21Speaker 19: On Houston City Council, he was involved in cutting taxes
- 1:42:24Speaker 19: for the first time in decades. As county treasurer for
- 1:42:26Speaker 19: 12 years, he balanced the books and protected taxpayers. Orlando
- 1:42:30Speaker 19: Sanchez is a friend of mine. Be financially responsible. Vote
- 1:42:33Speaker 19: for Orlando Sanchez for Harris County judge.
- 1:42:36Speaker 18: Political ad paid for by the Orlando Sanchez campaign.
- 1:42:39Speaker 23: Thank goodness our weather experts are providing us with hurricane
- 1:42:42Speaker 23: tracking charts and reminding us to be.
- 1:42:44Speaker 6: Prepared for big storms.
- 1:42:46Speaker 23: But they overlook one very important thing, the damage and
- 1:42:48Speaker 23: destruction from broken limbs and uprooted trees. Call Louis Flory
- 1:42:52Speaker 23: at Ability Tree Experts today. My friend for nearly 40 years.
- 1:42:56Speaker 23: At 281-441-4179 and let him explain how this problem can
- 1:43:01Speaker 23: be minimized with professional pruning. You see, when the tree
- 1:43:04Speaker 23: canopy is too thick and dense, the tree can be
- 1:43:06Speaker 23: completely blown over and tree limbs broken, causing terrible damage
- 1:43:10Speaker 23: to the tree and maybe your home. Where tree limbs break,
- 1:43:14Speaker 23: sap will ooze, and that attracts harmful insects. So you
- 1:43:17Speaker 23: need to call Louis Flory today at 281-441-4179 and have
- 1:43:23Speaker 23: his experts come out and professionally prune your trees to
- 1:43:27Speaker 23: withstand sudden storms that are so frequent this time of year.
- 1:43:30Speaker 23: Visit their website at AbilityTrees.com. That's 281-441-4179. Ability Tree Experts,
- 1:43:37Speaker 23: Houston's leading tree care professional.

- 1:44:09Speaker 30: like the Remax Skydive team, the official show open choreographed
- 1:44:12Speaker 30: to the national anthem, plus the Legends and Heroes Veterans Marketplace,
- 1:44:15Speaker 30: and of course, Tora Tora Tora, 53 years and counting.
- 1:44:19Speaker 30: And you'll see the next-gen Eagles aerobatic team with tons
- 1:44:21Speaker 30: of smoking colors galore.
- 1:44:23Speaker 11: Plus, you can't miss the Peak Jet.
- 1:44:24Speaker 30: Piloted by a skilled team of women in their electrifying twist, turns,
- 1:44:28Speaker 30: and being smoked from the after burning thunder of modern
- 1:44:30Speaker 30: military fighters to the classic rumble of historic warbirds at
- 1:44:34Speaker 30: the wings over houston air show october 31st to november
- 1:44:37Speaker 30: 1st get your tickets at wings over houston.com.
- 1:44:41Speaker 10: The voters of the state of texas versus james talarico
- 1:44:44Speaker 10: miss lindsey questions sure.
- 1:44:47Speaker 36: Do mr talarico i've heard a lot of your fancy
- 1:44:49Speaker 36: talk so let's just stick to the facts why did
- 1:44:52Speaker 36: you vote against prohibiting biological men from competing in women's
- 1:44:55Speaker 36: sports Why did you vote against providing funds to protect
- 1:44:59Speaker 36: our border from illegal immigration? You voted to place massive
- 1:45:02Speaker 36: new regulations on the oil patch, the lifeblood of our economy.
- 1:45:06Speaker 36: Your silence says it all.
- 1:45:08Speaker 11: Mr.
- 1:45:08Speaker 36: Tallarico, you would vote in Washington the same way you
- 1:45:11Speaker 36: voted here. More taxes, open borders again, bigger government. That's
- 1:45:15Speaker 36: not what Texans want.
- 1:45:17Speaker 10: Case closed. Ken Paxton knows what Texans want, and he's
- 1:45:22Speaker 10: proven it. Successful crime fighter, protecting children and parents and
- 1:45:27Speaker 10: the border. Ken Paxton for U.S.
- 1:45:29Speaker 3: Senate.
- 1:45:30Speaker 10: Standing up for Texas. LNC Coalition paid for and is
- 1:45:34Speaker 10: responsible for the content of this advertising.
- 1:45:36Speaker 6: Not authorized by any candidate or candidates committee.
- 1:45:38Speaker 3: LCFreedom.com And now, back to Chris X Radio. Chris X Radio.
- 1:45:44Speaker 3: On the voice of Texas.
- 1:45:49Speaker 18: It's so weird.
- 1:45:56Speaker 6: This sounds like 40 years old and it still sounds new.
- 1:46:00Speaker 6: This whole album is still relatively new to me. I
- 1:46:03Speaker 6: think probably 30 something years old. Def Leppard is hysteria.
- 1:46:07Speaker 6: It's a great song. Welcome back to Chris X radio.
- 1:46:10Speaker 6: You reach the final segment of the program of our
- 1:46:14Speaker 6: two for taco Tuesday. We'll wrap things up. We'll be
- 1:46:17Speaker 6: back for our hump day tomorrow, then our Friday show
- 1:46:19Speaker 6: on Thursday, and then that's it. We turn it over
- 1:46:21Speaker 6: to the Amigos on the final day of early voting.
- 1:46:24Speaker 6: We'll be back next week, and then we'll get you
- 1:46:27Speaker 6: for election day next week. It's going to be busy,
- 1:46:30Speaker 6: to say the least. By the way, I received an
- 1:46:32Speaker 6: email during the break. I'll just use his first name, Stephen. Said,
- 1:46:37Speaker 6: use caution with base power. Signed up in August. Said
- 1:46:40Speaker 6: early August. Initially, they said an October install. They didn't
- 1:46:43Speaker 6: file the paperwork with CenterPoint until mid-October. Now they're telling
- 1:46:48Speaker 6: him a January install is likely. Said maybe their supply
- 1:46:52Speaker 6: chain isn't able to keep up with demand. Okay. That's interesting.
- 1:46:57Speaker 6: I guess if you have experience... With base power or whatever,
- 1:47:04Speaker 6: let me know. Feel free to send me an email.
- 1:47:06Speaker 6: ChrisX at ChrisXRadio.com or ChrisX at KSVRadio.com. Either one works.
- 1:47:11Speaker 6: But thank you for that email, Stephen. You gave me
- 1:47:13Speaker 6: something to think about now to look into it. I
- 1:47:15Speaker 6: need to go look up the reviews. And I saw
- 1:47:18Speaker 6: the base power trucks in my neighborhood about a month ago.
- 1:47:22Speaker 6: So I need to go and look. I remember, I
- 1:47:24Speaker 6: think I remember the house they were at. Probably go
- 1:47:26Speaker 6: by and look and see if they've got their battery
- 1:47:29Speaker 6: set up. Anyway, all right, let's go. The phone's here
- 1:47:31Speaker 6: before we run out of time. Let's pick up with Joe,
- 1:47:34Speaker 6: who's been patiently holding. Joe, thank you for hanging on.
- 1:47:36Speaker 6: Welcome to Chris X Radio.
- 1:47:37Speaker 29: Well, Chris, I like how you set that up. But
- 1:47:44Speaker 29: the truthful version is, hey, we're about to switch over.
- 1:47:47Speaker 29: We could cut Joe like five minutes short here. If
- 1:47:49Speaker 29: we take him now, guys, go ahead and take that
- 1:47:52Speaker 29: gunner and get him out of here.
- 1:47:55Speaker 6: You called in the final segment. I've got about five
- 1:47:58Speaker 6: minutes remaining, so I'm not cutting you short. You're good
- 1:48:00Speaker 6: to go.
- 1:48:02Speaker 36: What?
- 1:48:03Speaker 29: So, hey, first of all, I had to make– and
- 1:48:06Speaker 29: I do think it's true, and I'll tell you, and
- 1:48:08Speaker 29: you'll be like, of course, like COVID and everything else.
- 1:48:11Speaker 29: But I had to come up with a long political
- 1:48:14Speaker 29: theory for who is your guy manning the ship right now?
- 1:48:19Speaker 6: I'm sorry. I didn't understand that. Who's my what?
- 1:48:22Speaker 29: Not Russell, but who's the guy there manning the ship now?
- 1:48:25Speaker 6: Oh, Cash. Cash is on the ship.
- 1:48:28Speaker 11: Yes.
- 1:48:29Speaker 37: Okay.
- 1:48:30Speaker 29: Anyway, so anyway, yeah, he's cool. I didn't mean to
- 1:48:32Speaker 29: be BSing him. I'll tell you what we have. We'll
- 1:48:35Speaker 29: say that real fast for this one real quick, but
- 1:48:38Speaker 29: I had to– I couldn't bring myself to say, you know,
- 1:48:41Speaker 29: just do like Hank Hill and Adam Sandler stuff, you know,
- 1:48:44Speaker 29: when he asked me like what I want to talk about.
- 1:48:46Speaker 6: Yeah, that's true.
- 1:48:47Speaker 29: And so it sounded stupid in my head and I
- 1:48:50Speaker 29: didn't want to bother– it sounded like it would bother him.
- 1:48:51Speaker 29: Like he would put me on, but it would bother him.
- 1:48:54Speaker 11: You know.
- 1:48:54Speaker 29: Like I didn't want to be that way, so.
- 1:48:56Speaker 6: Nah, he's easy going. He's cool. He'll be living on
- 1:48:58Speaker 6: the moon next week.
- 1:49:02Speaker 8: What?
- 1:49:04Speaker 6: He's taking a job at NASA. He's going to go
- 1:49:06Speaker 6: live on a moon base at a colony on the moon.
- 1:49:09Speaker 6: So he's out of here by next week.
- 1:49:11Speaker 1: Oh, man.
- 1:49:11Speaker 6: Then I think it's back to Captain Jack, and who knows?
- 1:49:14Speaker 6: He'll be on the board. He'll be flying the mothership,
- 1:49:16Speaker 6: I guess, at that point.
- 1:49:17Speaker 29: So that is cool stuff that you have going on
- 1:49:21Speaker 29: down here.
- 1:49:21Speaker 4: Like, I've met in.
- 1:49:23Speaker 29: A recent year or two or three, like, a lot
- 1:49:26Speaker 29: of people that work at NASA.
- 1:49:29Speaker 6: Yeah. A lot of people do.
- 1:49:31Speaker 21: Anyway, so.
- 1:49:34Speaker 29: And do contracting for SpaceX and whatever else.
- 1:49:37Speaker 5: Yeah, that's true.
- 1:49:40Speaker 29: But anyway, I want to know if you want to
- 1:49:42Speaker 29: be the guy with me to mention. I don't know.
- 1:49:44Speaker 29: No one said it. I know it kind of goes
- 1:49:46Speaker 29: without saying.
- 1:49:46Speaker 3: It's kind of obvious.
- 1:49:47Speaker 29: But I guess we're all hopeful if we thought about it,
- 1:49:51Speaker 29: or we'll talk about it that way in history, that
- 1:49:53Speaker 29: this stuff, seeing the leftist stupid policies that I read
- 1:49:57Speaker 29: about in Latin American politics and other types of political
- 1:50:00Speaker 29: science classes about how, you know, the demonic centralized government
- 1:50:04Speaker 29: dictatorships always implode and fail, and they get some brown
- 1:50:08Speaker 29: shirts and Stanley Milgram morons to go around and be like, yeah,
- 1:50:11Speaker 29: we should take their shots and whatever they say to do,
- 1:50:14Speaker 29: because you're mean and you don't want.
- 1:50:16Speaker 25: People to be gay and.
- 1:50:17Speaker 29: You're a bad person or whatever, or you hate black
- 1:50:19Speaker 29: people or whatever it is. And their whole system implodes.
- 1:50:23Speaker 29: Now that we're seeing this going on from mostly spurred
- 1:50:25Speaker 29: from like immigration and unrest with inflation and debt in
- 1:50:28Speaker 29: general and all this stuff in France again, historically, I
- 1:50:32Speaker 29: wonder if, you know, a few years from now, we're like, man,
- 1:50:35Speaker 29: what a close one. We slid in Paxton just because, like,
- 1:50:39Speaker 29: enough people not only woke up and was like, hey,
- 1:50:42Speaker 29: Talrico's demonic, and, like, he, you know, we've kind of
- 1:50:44Speaker 29: had enough of, like, trying to push private stuff on
- 1:50:47Speaker 29: kids and, like, trying to see if they want to
- 1:50:48Speaker 29: try to pretend they're the other sex or kill babies. Like,
- 1:50:51Speaker 29: you know, I'm not against killing babies totally, but, like,
- 1:50:54Speaker 29: we kind of had enough, like, to a degree. And
- 1:50:56Speaker 29: then watching, like, Paris and all these places, like, just
- 1:50:59Speaker 29: completely implode, like, their conservative random associative, like, connections in
- 1:51:04Speaker 29: life have been, like, kind of told them that, you know,
- 1:51:07Speaker 29: you don't want to go to France anymore and stuff
- 1:51:09Speaker 29: like that, and they kind of heard it and didn't
- 1:51:10Speaker 29: want to hear it, but, like, I don't know, man,
- 1:51:13Speaker 29: maybe there's no hope for some of those people, but
- 1:51:15Speaker 29: you think later we're going to be like, oh, man,
- 1:51:17Speaker 29: the implosion of, like, France, like, or whatever, wherever these cities, like,
- 1:51:20Speaker 29: a couple of these things going on, like, man, thank
- 1:51:22Speaker 29: God that happened right before people voted, got all the
- 1:51:24Speaker 29: early voting done in election day, you know?
- 1:51:26Speaker 19: Like, thank God we.
- 1:51:27Speaker 32: Split them in.
- 1:51:28Speaker 6: Joe, I appreciate we're just about out of time, but
- 1:51:32Speaker 6: you brought up some really interesting points that this is
- 1:51:34Speaker 6: happening over in France right now. We've watched the implosion
- 1:51:37Speaker 6: of socialism, Marxism, communism. We're watching it. We're watching it
- 1:51:41Speaker 6: play out. And those who are wise enough like you
- 1:51:44Speaker 6: get it and say, OK, this is this is terrible.
- 1:51:46Speaker 6: What are these people doing? What are we doing here?
- 1:51:48Speaker 6: And then we watch it happening in our country. And
- 1:51:51Speaker 6: I'm hoping we can dodge the bullet, as you just said,
- 1:51:54Speaker 6: and not get some weirdo like Tallarico who not only
- 1:51:57Speaker 6: wants to kill children before they're born, but then once
- 1:52:00Speaker 6: they're born, mutilate their bodies and use them as experiments
- 1:52:03Speaker 6: so he can have them play. Little boys play little
- 1:52:06Speaker 6: girls and little girls play little boys and literally ruin
- 1:52:09Speaker 6: their bodies and their lives for the rest of their
- 1:52:11Speaker 6: life while somehow claiming they're helping them, which they're not.
- 1:52:15Speaker 6: They're just political pawns. These are the casualties of the
- 1:52:18Speaker 6: culture war. And that was what you were referring to
- 1:52:20Speaker 6: with the basis, I guess, as far as, you know,
- 1:52:24Speaker 6: killing babies and things like that. Um, it's very weird
- 1:52:28Speaker 6: watching the way politics are. There's another thing too. It,
- 1:52:32Speaker 6: it's so, it's weird because we really have no other
- 1:52:34Speaker 6: perspective other than looking through the prism of history that
- 1:52:38Speaker 6: understand things tend to be cyclical. And that's what worries
- 1:52:42Speaker 6: me about this election is in this 24 hour news
- 1:52:45Speaker 6: cycle that we're in and with things happening instantly and
- 1:52:48Speaker 6: you have instant access to information, things tend to go
- 1:52:51Speaker 6: faster and, and, Are we going to turn around and
- 1:52:55Speaker 6: head that direction and go the direction of France and
- 1:52:58Speaker 6: all that? We've been slowly sliding that direction as a country.
- 1:53:01Speaker 6: But are we going the other direction? Because the media
- 1:53:05Speaker 6: and the propaganda, and it's so hard to get past
- 1:53:08Speaker 6: all that. But once you see their policies come to fruition,
- 1:53:13Speaker 6: what's happening in France and those areas and the rest
- 1:53:19Speaker 6: of the world, Venezuela.
- 1:53:22Speaker 6: Is the obvious outcome. At what point do people go, okay,
- 1:53:26Speaker 6: we have to stop doing this? This is a failed experiment.
- 1:53:29Speaker 6: Why do we got to repeat history? I hope they
- 1:53:32Speaker 6: wake up, Joe. Thank you for the call. You guys
- 1:53:34Speaker 6: be safe. We'll see you tomorrow.
