- 2:01Speaker 1: but maybe it's because I'm so well, I'm allowed to
- 2:05Speaker 1: say the word white.
- 2:09Speaker 2: Please don't you know, please don't say the word Why
- 2:11Speaker 2: you can't.
- 2:12Speaker 1: I'm Caucasian, all right, that's all right, And therefore there's
- 2:15Speaker 1: no sun so I can't get any color.
- 2:17Speaker 2: Green showers continuing today changing to snow in the afternoon.
- 2:23Speaker 2: You just got back from where Miami Miami. Yeah, dude,
- 2:28Speaker 2: I gotta tell you, man, the rest of Vermont Is
- 2:33Speaker 2: and beyond actually is so impressed with your yacht. I
- 2:36Speaker 2: mean that is you love that right. I don't like
- 2:40Speaker 2: to brag about that, I understand, But why didn't you
- 2:43Speaker 2: tell me this years ago?
- 2:45Speaker 1: Because people always say can I come on? Can I
- 2:48Speaker 1: come on? I don't want them on. That's it. I
- 2:51Speaker 1: understand that. That's not know what I'm saying. I do.
- 2:53Speaker 1: The only one on the yacht that I want is
- 2:55Speaker 1: Jed myself, the captain and the crow that's it.
- 3:00Speaker 2: Yeah, so you know, listen, we've been friends for a
- 3:05Speaker 2: long time. Is it possible?
- 3:07Speaker 1: No? Really? No, no, wow, no, I'll let Shirley come on.
- 3:13Speaker 1: But yeah, no, I would I mean, I would love
- 3:17Speaker 1: to just just for a couple I can have you
- 3:19Speaker 1: in the motocraft next door, you know, the one that
- 3:21Speaker 1: we use to get back to the island. The dinghy.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Well it's more than a dinghy, but yeah, all right,
- 3:27Speaker 1: I could do that. I mean, and you're not staying
- 3:29Speaker 1: in the condo. Oh hell no, listen, buddy, it does.
- 3:33Speaker 1: See it does sleep nine those.
- 3:35Speaker 2: Going crazy appearing fromont and I need a little money.
- 3:39Speaker 1: I know, I know it was let me tell you,
- 3:42Speaker 1: it was the best week just to get it away.
- 3:45Speaker 2: I'm sure it why.
- 3:46Speaker 1: Yeah? And then I came back and it was literally
- 3:48Speaker 1: fucking snowing. I was like, are you kidding me right now? Yeah?
- 3:52Speaker 1: Why are we not snow birding for the entire winter?
- 3:55Speaker 2: And that is going to be a conversation that you
- 3:59Speaker 2: and I are going to have two ways, one off
- 4:03Speaker 2: the air, yes, and then on the Okay that's coming.
- 4:09Speaker 2: Speaking of on the air, I'm so excited. We've got
- 4:12Speaker 2: two drivers that are gonna be with me Stephen Donahue
- 4:15Speaker 2: on April ninth. Taylor Whore is going to be sitting
- 4:19Speaker 2: down here in the studio on the twenty sixth, and
- 4:23Speaker 2: I'm just thrilled. I'm so excited. Birthdays today. Before I
- 4:27Speaker 2: get into the details in the weather, Lawrence Siler is
- 4:30Speaker 2: on the list today at fifty two, Lizzie Liz, Ashley Lynn,
- 4:34Speaker 2: Courtney McAllister, Stephanie Dowe, Peggy Greenslit, Williamson, Ed Coburn. Let's see,
- 4:44Speaker 2: just looking, Mike Billado. Is it the sixth already?
- 4:50Speaker 1: Yeah? Oh my god, Yeah, it's the sixth.
- 4:53Speaker 2: Patty Anderson, Happy birthday to you, Amanda Daniels and Patrick Leafazzo.
- 5:03Speaker 2: I hope I'm not butchering any of these name Joan k.
- 5:05Speaker 2: Hill blond In, there's an easy one. Ashley Roberts still
- 5:10Speaker 2: the sixth here. Wow, So that's a long birthday list.
- 5:13Speaker 2: Happy birthday, everybody.
- 5:15Speaker 1: Happy birthday.
- 5:16Speaker 2: So here we go the details this morning on the weather.
- 5:21Speaker 2: And I'm no meteorologist.
- 5:25Speaker 1: You know that. I know that.
- 5:27Speaker 2: I'm not sure that everyone else knows that. They probably
- 5:30Speaker 2: think I am a meeting.
- 5:31Speaker 1: I also think Ben Fraschett is not a meteorologist. Because
- 5:35Speaker 1: he's always wrong, is he always He'll be like, it's
- 5:39Speaker 1: at the point now that I'm waiting for him to
- 5:41Speaker 1: say it might snow, it might rain, or it could
- 5:43Speaker 1: be sunny today. All right, here's what I have.
- 5:46Speaker 2: But I'm just I'm speaking into the microphone of what
- 5:51Speaker 2: I'm seeing online.
- 5:53Speaker 1: So you're reading verbatim.
- 5:55Speaker 2: I am okay, I am not creating this forecast a mind,
- 6:00Speaker 2: all right, I am repeating what others professionals are saying.
- 6:05Speaker 2: We have a few leftover rain showers likely this morning,
- 6:09Speaker 2: right you with me?
- 6:10Speaker 1: So far?
- 6:11Speaker 2: So though this afternoon turns mostly dry with lots of clouds,
- 6:15Speaker 2: highs reaching into the upper forties. Then a round of
- 6:19Speaker 2: snow showers and perhaps some embedded squalls perhaps likely Thursday
- 6:26Speaker 2: evening and Thursday night. So just be aware of that.
- 6:31Speaker 2: If you got travel plans on the way home five o'clockish,
- 6:34Speaker 2: you know, just be careful. There could be a little
- 6:37Speaker 2: squall kicking up. Let's see, temperatures can be going down
- 6:44Speaker 2: into the teens and twenties. Roads may quickly turn icy
- 6:48Speaker 2: and snow covered.
- 6:50Speaker 1: Just be careful. So, in other words, Vermont in the winter.
- 6:54Speaker 2: Thank you, Okay, a few snow showers likely on Friday,
- 6:59Speaker 2: especially in the mountains. Otherwise a mix of sun and clouds.
- 7:02Speaker 2: It's going to be colder and windy, with highs in
- 7:04Speaker 2: the mid thirties. Westerly winds rippin around forty to fifty
- 7:09Speaker 2: miles per hour. I put in the rippin.
- 7:12Speaker 1: See that I was impressive, Actually rippin. Yeah, they didn't
- 7:16Speaker 1: write that I did. So this is no longer verbatim.
- 7:21Speaker 2: Most of it, Okay, I'm improvising a little bit. This
- 7:24Speaker 2: weekend looks mostly dry, only a few flurries, possible, highs
- 7:28Speaker 2: in the upper twenties on Saturday, a mainly cloudy day,
- 7:32Speaker 2: and then a few more breaks of sun or more
- 7:35Speaker 2: likely on Sunday with highs in the mid thirties.
- 7:37Speaker 1: Wow, there you go. There you have it.
- 7:41Speaker 2: So rising river levels, mild temperatures, and wind all play
- 7:49Speaker 2: a part in the breakup of the rivers. They're watching.
- 7:54Speaker 2: When I say they, who are they?
- 8:02Speaker 1: Do you ever notice when they say things like they
- 8:05Speaker 1: are watching? They say fifty who's they? Who's the day?
- 8:11Speaker 1: You're getting upset? I am?
- 8:14Speaker 2: It could be you know, the authorities, the meteorologists. They
- 8:20Speaker 2: are watching the Mad River near Moortown and the Otter
- 8:23Speaker 2: Creek at Center Rutland for potential ice jams. But the
- 8:29Speaker 2: risk is not only today, but it's tomorrow too and
- 8:33Speaker 2: even Saturday. So rivers are going to be cresting today,
- 8:38Speaker 2: bringing elevated risk for ice jams. Okay, excellent, Yeah, nineteen
- 8:47Speaker 2: ninety two were you here then? Do you remember the
- 8:49Speaker 2: big flood in the ice jam in Montpellier? The big flood,
- 8:53Speaker 2: probably huge, two hundred cars damaged, eight thousand gallons of
- 9:00Speaker 2: fuel oil spilled into the floodwaters, four million dollars in damage.
- 9:05Speaker 1: In you're full of good news today in nineteen ninety two,
- 9:09Speaker 1: you're just oh, I'm good.
- 9:10Speaker 2: I'm just not even getting started, not even getting started.
- 9:16Speaker 2: So yeah, so just you know, keep all this stuff
- 9:19Speaker 2: in mind. Why are you why, oh yeah, why are
- 9:24Speaker 2: you bringing me.
- 9:26Speaker 1: A whole.
- 9:29Speaker 2: Run of of crackers.
- 9:34Speaker 1: For the same reason that you sent me these these
- 9:38Speaker 1: Reese's eggs? Oh my god, I forgot about that. What
- 9:43Speaker 1: the natural ice figured. If you eat one of those
- 9:47Speaker 1: Reesa's eggs, you're gonna need of elveta to go with
- 9:51Speaker 1: some crackers. Do you have the picture of that?
- 9:55Speaker 3: Do?
- 9:56Speaker 1: I'm pulling them up here, I have it here. And
- 9:59Speaker 1: you said that to me with the letters. What the
- 10:02Speaker 1: actual fuck?
- 10:04Speaker 2: All right, show, I'm gonna show it right now. All right,
- 10:06Speaker 2: it's on the screen, right now, it's on the screen.
- 10:10Speaker 2: So I went I went to I don't want to say,
- 10:13Speaker 2: you know what store. I was in Walmart, right, but
- 10:18Speaker 2: I saw the you know, they had all the easter
- 10:20Speaker 2: stuff out right, and it troubled me at first to
- 10:25Speaker 2: see that the the Reese's eggs here were twelve bucks.
- 10:29Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 10:30Speaker 2: And then I was like, don't be troubled. That's a
- 10:35Speaker 2: dollar an egg. So break this down. Are you really
- 10:39Speaker 2: that upset about it, JD? Because it's it's twelve ninety seven. Oh,
- 10:46Speaker 2: that's more than a dollar in egg. Yeah, well you
- 10:48Speaker 2: know it's a dollar in change. Yeah, twelve ninety seven
- 10:53Speaker 2: for this. Yeah, let me see if I can hold on.
- 10:58Speaker 2: I'm gonna. I'm gonna. I know you're not believing me,
- 11:01Speaker 2: so i'm gonna just so you know. And then they
- 11:05Speaker 2: had a bag of uh, where is it right here?
- 11:14Speaker 2: Hold on, hold on, hold on, I'm going to show
- 11:18Speaker 2: it to you. Just stand by, stand by.
- 11:21Speaker 1: Obviously not a boy scout right.
- 11:23Speaker 2: There, prepared twelve twelve ninety seven. There it is on
- 11:28Speaker 2: your screen right there, and then it was like they
- 11:30Speaker 2: had a bag of Recei's.
- 11:34Speaker 1: Peanut butter eggs.
- 11:37Speaker 2: Are not the eggs well, yeah, the eggs, but not
- 11:39Speaker 2: the round eggs, just the flat ones for fourteen ninety
- 11:43Speaker 2: seven yep.
- 11:44Speaker 1: Fifteen dollars for a small bag yep, yep, which clearly
- 11:49Speaker 1: is not the healthiest thing in the world to eat
- 11:52Speaker 1: in the first place. I know. But my god, buddy,
- 11:56Speaker 1: I know, I know, God, I know. Really Yeah.
- 12:00Speaker 2: And then and then you sent me and I know
- 12:03Speaker 2: you can't see because you don't have a monitor, but
- 12:06Speaker 2: you then you sent me this picture of Putin and
- 12:10Speaker 2: and Trump dancing. Yeah, no, the one with Trump with
- 12:16Speaker 2: the with the platform shoes.
- 12:18Speaker 1: Oh yeah, did you post that right now? You know?
- 12:26Speaker 1: Did you you know, because you don't have a monitor. Correct?
- 12:30Speaker 1: Did you watch that clown do his uh speech to Congress?
- 12:37Speaker 1: I watched the whole thing. Yeah, finally, I finally can
- 12:43Speaker 1: I can I say honestly that I am embarrassed for
- 12:49Speaker 1: our government. I'm embarrassed by that whole performance that this clown,
- 12:57Speaker 1: and I say clown not lightly did on that speech.
- 13:01Speaker 1: It was it was the most embarrassing. And now take
- 13:05Speaker 1: two days before that with Zelinsky, well, to follow up
- 13:10Speaker 1: on that. This morning, I heard in the news. My
- 13:14Speaker 1: brother pointed it out that Trump is the two hundred
- 13:18Speaker 1: and forty thousand Ukrainian immigrants that came to this country
- 13:23Speaker 1: to escape being killed. Trump is sending them back to
- 13:30Speaker 1: that country. What's wrong with this man? Has he no
- 13:35Speaker 1: humanity at all? None? He throws out a senator out
- 13:41Speaker 1: of the speech because he was disturbing Trump's speech, and
- 13:49Speaker 1: Trump's side clown behind him, the vice president is putting
- 13:56Speaker 1: on faces and smiling it and doing all this stuff,
- 14:00Speaker 1: which is so childish during a speech like that. Then
- 14:04Speaker 1: you get the elon jerk who was there taking all
- 14:08Speaker 1: this fucking praise for the lies that were being said.
- 14:13Speaker 1: I mean, it was absolutely the most embarrassing cluster cluster
- 14:18Speaker 1: that I watched on TV for an hour and forty
- 14:21Speaker 1: eight minutes at nighttime. Yeah, and the rest of the country. Please, hey,
- 14:28Speaker 1: look at Canada. They think we're a joke.
- 14:30Speaker 2: Shirley is saying, and hang on a second here, let
- 14:33Speaker 2: me just tap the brakes. First of all, I want
- 14:37Speaker 2: to say to Shirley, Shirley Potter, who's listening this morning,
- 14:41Speaker 2: at some point, I really want to meet Shirley because
- 14:46Speaker 2: she watches and listens every day. Right, sounds sounds like
- 14:52Speaker 2: it seems like just a great lady, she says. And
- 14:57Speaker 2: I'm I got gee, I gotta tell you. And I'm
- 15:02Speaker 2: not I'm not just saying this because I like the
- 15:04Speaker 2: name Shirley. But she says, I would have thrown him
- 15:07Speaker 2: out as well. And I'm I'm.
- 15:12Speaker 1: Why Shirley, because he was so angry at the ignorance
- 15:17Speaker 1: that was coming out of this man's mouth with the pulp.
- 15:20Speaker 2: Here's here's what Shirley would say.
- 15:22Speaker 1: I mean, it was literally a line of lies after lies.
- 15:26Speaker 1: I know. But here's what Shirley would say. Yep, okay.
- 15:30Speaker 2: And I'm not speaking for Shirley, but I am, she
- 15:34Speaker 2: would say, But I and I don't even know Shirley,
- 15:37Speaker 2: so here I am speaking for Shirley would say, there's
- 15:42Speaker 2: a time and place. There's a time and place you
- 15:49Speaker 2: you are expected to have a level of decorum, right,
- 15:54Speaker 2: no matter who the president is, no matter what they're saying,
- 15:59Speaker 2: whether it's complete horseshit or not, You're expected.
- 16:05Speaker 1: You're expected to have a higher standard of respect. Absolutely.
- 16:09Speaker 1: I counter, don't. You don't go way from the gold
- 16:14Speaker 1: handled king. I counter that by saying when Trump was
- 16:21Speaker 1: picking on the Democrats at this thing, the Republicans were
- 16:28Speaker 1: booing and cheering and making all these inappropriate sounds, and
- 16:34Speaker 1: yet when a Democrat said something or was booing and cheering,
- 16:39Speaker 1: the Republicans, including Trump and his sidekick, got upset. It's like,
- 16:44Speaker 1: if you're going to demand decorum, understand from the Democratic
- 16:49Speaker 1: side that they don't stand up and interrupt the speech,
- 16:51Speaker 1: or they don't get upset or whatever, then the Republicans
- 16:55Speaker 1: have to show the same respect to the Democrat. It
- 17:00Speaker 1: has to be a balance to quorum. And when Trump
- 17:03Speaker 1: points to the Democrats and says, you people ruin this
- 17:07Speaker 1: and your administration and you're terrible people, and the Republicans
- 17:12Speaker 1: are all over there cheering, and his vice president is
- 17:15Speaker 1: standing up smiling and clapping like a fucking child instead
- 17:20Speaker 1: of the adult vice president that he's supposed to be. Okay,
- 17:26Speaker 1: the whole thing was a shit show, So don't throw
- 17:28Speaker 1: one person out for interrupting when the Republicans should have
- 17:32Speaker 1: been thrown out for their inappropriate behavior. It's basically like
- 17:36Speaker 1: I said, because of what I watched, I'm embarrassed for
- 17:41Speaker 1: our government on both sides. I'm embarrassed to say that
- 17:47Speaker 1: this is my government. And now Canada is retaliating and
- 17:52Speaker 1: saying that they are going to fill the shoes that
- 17:56Speaker 1: America was supposed to be in, and they're going to
- 17:59Speaker 1: support what the ukraines because they're worried about Europe. Okay,
- 18:04Speaker 1: So we have all our allies that are looking at
- 18:06Speaker 1: us like a bunch of clowns. You have all these
- 18:10Speaker 1: executive orders that are being written to take away transgenders.
- 18:15Speaker 1: And now he's declared only male female is the only
- 18:19Speaker 1: thing that's going to be recognized in the United States,
- 18:22Speaker 1: no other thing. He says. If you're a male, you're
- 18:25Speaker 1: a male. If you're a female, you're a female, and
- 18:27Speaker 1: everything else in between is hogwash. And then he says,
- 18:31Speaker 1: and as far as woke is, woke stops today. No
- 18:36Speaker 1: more woke, end of wo Like he's the end all
- 18:39Speaker 1: be all of gods. And when I look at everything
- 18:42Speaker 1: that came out of his mouth, I said, how embarrassing
- 18:46Speaker 1: for our government, How embarrassing for our allies, who don't
- 18:50Speaker 1: even know if there are allies anymore. Okay, Like France said,
- 18:55Speaker 1: America has always been like our cousin, and now we're
- 19:02Speaker 1: prepared to defend ourselves against them. I mean, my god,
- 19:06Speaker 1: what a turmoil of crap that's going on out there,
- 19:11Speaker 1: and how it affects the mental health of Americans, because
- 19:15Speaker 1: I know people right here in Barry that are suffering
- 19:18Speaker 1: from mental health over this entire drama.
- 19:21Speaker 2: Becky just wrote in a comment here, I couldn't watch it.
- 19:26Speaker 2: I have too much anxiety from this circus.
- 19:29Speaker 1: Yes, well, it's funny because I put it on and
- 19:32Speaker 1: Jed was sitting next to me and I was making comments,
- 19:34Speaker 1: and he's like, why do you watch this just so
- 19:36Speaker 1: it gets you so upset, I says, And I don't
- 19:39Speaker 1: do it because I want to be upset. I do
- 19:41Speaker 1: it because I need to know what's happening with this country,
- 19:44Speaker 1: and if I need to get the fuck.
- 19:45Speaker 2: Out, I can. Honestly, I have a couple of friends
- 19:50Speaker 2: who are very similar to Jed that way, and I
- 19:57Speaker 2: I can relate to a little bit of that. Becky
- 20:04Speaker 2: just says, I just I couldn't watch it.
- 20:08Speaker 1: Linda. Uh what did Linda say? Uh?
- 20:12Speaker 2: He's a disgrace. I couldn't watch any of it. I mean,
- 20:14Speaker 2: there's there's there's there's plenty. I mean, Sherilyn's one of
- 20:17Speaker 2: them too.
- 20:18Speaker 1: Just please the people that voted him. They're talking to
- 20:22Speaker 1: the people that voted for him, and the people are
- 20:24Speaker 1: having what's called buyer's remorse. They're starting to say why
- 20:29Speaker 1: did I vote for him? And then he turns around
- 20:32Speaker 1: and makes a comment, a flippant comment about Kamala Harris
- 20:36Speaker 1: during this speech, well inappropriate. Yeah, I mean, he's just
- 20:41Speaker 1: a mean man. He's untethered. He wants to be a
- 20:45Speaker 1: dictator and he's and he's taking Putin's side, saying that
- 20:49Speaker 1: Ukraine should let Putin keep the country, the land that
- 20:53Speaker 1: he took over because he fought for it. You don't
- 20:57Speaker 1: get to keep somebody's land because you fight for it.
- 21:00Speaker 2: Now you've got Glenn Brummer reaching for his amblodopene.
- 21:04Speaker 1: Look what you're doing? Yeah, you know, And now I
- 21:08Speaker 1: got to carry a weapon in my car to protect myself.
- 21:12Speaker 1: What have we become?
- 21:16Speaker 2: I've said to you, I don't know how many times,
- 21:20Speaker 2: how many times have I said to you it's And
- 21:26Speaker 2: Paul gave me a huge rap of shit for saying
- 21:28Speaker 2: this that you know, with everything that's going on, it's
- 21:33Speaker 2: you know, Mike, I have big concerns for our youth.
- 21:38Speaker 2: I have big concerns for my little girl who's ten
- 21:42Speaker 2: years old, who's got her whole life in front of her.
- 21:46Speaker 2: And you know serious now, you know the other the
- 21:52Speaker 2: other night, we were sitting there watching a basketball game
- 21:56Speaker 2: at Lily School and she's out there and all the kids,
- 21:59Speaker 2: you know, I third and fourth and fifth grader so
- 22:02Speaker 2: playing playing basketball. And I'm watching these kids. By the way,
- 22:09Speaker 2: I wasn't playing. I'm talking about this, saying this is
- 22:12Speaker 2: this is off the cuff, this is off the cuff.
- 22:15Speaker 2: I'm watching these kids out there playing basketball, and I'm
- 22:21Speaker 2: remembering when I was a little kid, and how just
- 22:29Speaker 2: the only thing I was thinking about is my g
- 22:31Speaker 2: I Joe and digging holes in the yard, climbing trees,
- 22:36Speaker 2: building jumps from my from my bike, getting dirty, getting dirty,
- 22:41Speaker 2: just living a care free life. And these kids, what
- 22:45Speaker 2: they've got, what they're dealing with, tablets and social media
- 22:51Speaker 2: and texting and computers and cell phones and the list
- 22:55Speaker 2: goes on. And what they've got in front of them.
- 23:01Speaker 2: Politically in this world, what's the contentiousness of everything that's happening,
- 23:09Speaker 2: not just here in America but just all over the world.
- 23:15Speaker 2: Who our leaders are.
- 23:17Speaker 1: You know, the example that they're setting and listen.
- 23:21Speaker 2: And I'm I'm not I'm really not pro anyone. I mean,
- 23:26Speaker 2: if you've ever heard Rusty Dewez, come on here with
- 23:29Speaker 2: me and talk about how he feels about all of this,
- 23:34Speaker 2: I can I can relate. I'm you know, I just
- 23:39Speaker 2: want somebody who represents our country, represents our people, is
- 23:46Speaker 2: got just got the shit together right and is respected
- 23:51Speaker 2: by other countries. And we're all not always going to
- 23:55Speaker 2: agree all the time, but just some I'm not left,
- 23:59Speaker 2: I'm not right, I'm kind of down the middle.
- 24:03Speaker 1: What makes it kind of like can we just all
- 24:04Speaker 1: get along? Yeah? I mean what what makes sense?
- 24:09Speaker 2: And you know, I mean, and I admit sometimes I
- 24:13Speaker 2: will tune in and I'll watch some some YouTube highlights
- 24:17Speaker 2: for entertainment. Right, I can't believe that he just said that.
- 24:22Speaker 1: Yep, yeah, Well, pulling out of the rambling, rambling on
- 24:26Speaker 1: and on, and I mean, where where if we ever
- 24:28Speaker 1: had a president who who would just sit there and
- 24:31Speaker 1: ramble on, go down this road for a little while,
- 24:34Speaker 1: and then that it's beautiful. You know what I'm saying.
- 24:37Speaker 1: It's beautiful. It's going to be the best thing you
- 24:39Speaker 1: ever saw. It's the best at the well, it's a
- 24:42Speaker 1: absolutely beautiful. It's like, dude, stick to you your script,
- 24:47Speaker 1: don't go walk script and start sounding even more stupid
- 24:50Speaker 1: than you literally are.
- 24:52Speaker 2: But there's so many people I agree with you. But
- 24:56Speaker 2: on the other side, there's a lot of a lot
- 24:59Speaker 2: of people that say, thank god we have a president
- 25:02Speaker 2: who is not literally reading word for word from a
- 25:05Speaker 2: teleprompter and the like Biden did.
- 25:08Speaker 1: And there's the ignorance of it all. There's the you
- 25:11Speaker 1: have speech writers that I was writing to give the
- 25:14Speaker 1: proper numbers and information, and then he and his own
- 25:18Speaker 1: ship yeah, dense, and then he and you know, he's like, oh,
- 25:22Speaker 1: we're gonna do this because I mean, it's not the
- 25:25Speaker 1: bitst but you know, it depends. It's like, dude, get
- 25:28Speaker 1: back to the topic. You're off in fucking la la land,
- 25:32Speaker 1: and he he brings up one thing and goes into
- 25:35Speaker 1: five others. Kind of like to earn our podcast, yes,
- 25:39Speaker 1: except except we accept both. Listen. When Trump came into office,
- 25:44Speaker 1: I said, all right, it is what it is that
- 25:47Speaker 1: people have spoken and like Jed said, how much damage
- 25:51Speaker 1: could he do? And my answer was, when you have
- 25:54Speaker 1: the judicial and all the cabinets and all the different
- 26:00Speaker 1: lines all set up on Republican side, you can do
- 26:03Speaker 1: a lot of fucking damage.
- 26:05Speaker 2: Shirley says, I must be a tough cookie. Does not
- 26:08Speaker 2: interfere with my mental capacity. Sorry, guys, I see thinks
- 26:12Speaker 2: much differently. But to each his own, Love you guys.
- 26:15Speaker 1: Anyway, that's Shirley great, absolutely great, And you know what,
- 26:20Speaker 1: I wish I could take that same feel But as
- 26:22Speaker 1: a gay man, yeah, there are so many things that
- 26:27Speaker 1: we have fought for, and now sometimes we get excessive,
- 26:33Speaker 1: different different genres start getting over excessive. Okay, but we
- 26:39Speaker 1: fought for women's right, we fought for black people's rights,
- 26:44Speaker 1: we fought for gay rights, we fought for all these things,
- 26:48Speaker 1: and now we got somebody coming in saying I'm all
- 26:50Speaker 1: pull it all back, and I have a problem with that.
- 26:54Speaker 1: I have a sincere problem with going backwards instead of
- 26:57Speaker 1: forward in progress.
- 26:58Speaker 2: There are a lot of decisions that are being made
- 27:02Speaker 2: that are being.
- 27:03Speaker 1: Dictated, yes, dictated told.
- 27:07Speaker 2: Uh, this is we know best, this is how it's
- 27:10Speaker 2: going to be, and this is this. Look at what's
- 27:12Speaker 2: going on with the with the federal employees and everything. Wow,
- 27:16Speaker 2: this is historic.
- 27:18Speaker 1: And now you've got what kind of residual, what kind
- 27:20Speaker 1: of residual effects. Is all of this a lot? And
- 27:24Speaker 1: now you have a president who says, if you agree
- 27:27Speaker 1: with my values, you can keep the job. Otherwise, in
- 27:30Speaker 1: the federal level, if you're not on board, we're gonna
- 27:33Speaker 1: throw you out.
- 27:35Speaker 2: It's like, oh my god, Glenn says, back in the day,
- 27:40Speaker 2: people didn't even talk about who they voted for.
- 27:43Speaker 1: No, you just did what you did. Yeah, this whole,
- 27:46Speaker 1: this whole thing. What it does is it brings up
- 27:50Speaker 1: anxiety and anger for people. Sure, and then the people
- 27:54Speaker 1: retaliate against the other people. And now you've got regular
- 27:59Speaker 1: every day from Montors and Bostonians and regular people that
- 28:04Speaker 1: when they find out, oh, you voted for this what,
- 28:06Speaker 1: it becomes a fight. Sure, okay, And now we the
- 28:10Speaker 1: people are fighting amongst ourselves because of our opinions and stuff.
- 28:15Speaker 1: I'm not saying my opinions are correct. I have opinions.
- 28:19Speaker 1: Shirley has opinions. You have opinions, Glenn. That's fine. We're
- 28:23Speaker 1: all entitled. And I respect Shirley's view, okay. And like
- 28:28Speaker 1: Shirley said, she respects what we say and she still
- 28:30Speaker 1: loves us, because that's how you're supposed to handle conflicts.
- 28:34Speaker 1: But we have a president and a vice president and
- 28:37Speaker 1: a crazy musk man that wants to preach hate. Okay,
- 28:43Speaker 1: and I don't preach Hate's that's the only thing.
- 28:51Speaker 2: Here's another example of what we're doing here. You and
- 28:56Speaker 2: I have been friends for I don't know how long,
- 28:58Speaker 2: fifteen plus.
- 28:59Speaker 1: Teen years now, all right? Sixteen? Yeah? Oh, so you're
- 29:02Speaker 1: counting now I am, I am? Okay. Every gray hair
- 29:07Speaker 1: is another year with you.
- 29:09Speaker 2: We This is an example. Serious, This is an example.
- 29:14Speaker 2: We as friends are two guys who do not align
- 29:21Speaker 2: up in every way. We don't agree on everything at all.
- 29:29Speaker 2: We'll have constructive conversations about.
- 29:32Speaker 1: It, educating conversations. We educate each other on This is true.
- 29:38Speaker 2: And when we finish up, you may call me a
- 29:41Speaker 2: name and I may call you a name, but it's
- 29:44Speaker 2: all in good fun. And we at the end of
- 29:47Speaker 2: the day we love each other. And I tell you
- 29:51Speaker 2: to fuck off and pound sand. You might tell me
- 29:54Speaker 2: the same thing next day. I'm calling you, hey, buddy,
- 29:57Speaker 2: what's going on. So the way it is with it's.
- 30:00Speaker 1: Because you need to have conversations because people, you know,
- 30:04Speaker 1: part of conversations is not just saying your view, but
- 30:07Speaker 1: helping you to vent to people. That you trust. So
- 30:11Speaker 1: when I vent to you about something, or I tell
- 30:13Speaker 1: you something that's annoying me or aggregate, you may not agree,
- 30:16Speaker 1: but you're giving me the opportunity to unload it. Sure,
- 30:20Speaker 1: so I'm not carrying and vice versa. And I love
- 30:23Speaker 1: people who have different opinions than me. I love that.
- 30:26Speaker 1: I don't want everybody to have the correct opinion like
- 30:29Speaker 1: I have. I want them to make mistakes and tell
- 30:33Speaker 1: me their fallacies. Just kidding people. What I'm basically saying
- 30:38Speaker 1: is you're entitled, and I want to hear your opinion
- 30:41Speaker 1: because sometimes other people's opinions that's different than mine sway
- 30:45Speaker 1: me to make other choices. It teaches me that, you
- 30:50Speaker 1: know what, there is another side to this, that it's
- 30:52Speaker 1: not always just one side right, and that Shirley has opinions.
- 30:57Speaker 1: And I think that's great. Because I heard you reading
- 30:59Speaker 1: that Nice said to myself, why am this is Shirley genuine?
- 31:03Speaker 1: While he was reading what you said about you being
- 31:06Speaker 1: a tough cookie, I'm thinking to myself, why am I
- 31:09Speaker 1: allowing it to get to me so much? And why
- 31:12Speaker 1: can't I take that that point of view of you
- 31:15Speaker 1: know what, I'm not going to allow it to get
- 31:18Speaker 1: to me. Many do, yes, many can do that. So
- 31:20Speaker 1: other people's opinions I value because I either learn or
- 31:25Speaker 1: process it and then decide do I want to continue
- 31:27Speaker 1: in the way I'm going or do I want to
- 31:29Speaker 1: pull back? Sure, so thank you Shirley for that opinion.
- 31:33Speaker 1: Don't let it go to your head. Shirley, don't let
- 31:36Speaker 1: it go to your head.
- 31:38Speaker 2: Why is Shirley not you? Surely should be?
- 31:40Speaker 1: She said. One thing that made sense, Shirley, I'm gonna
- 31:44Speaker 1: have to monitor other things you say to see if
- 31:46Speaker 1: you're constantly consistent Thursday morning. How do you like that?
- 31:50Speaker 1: Constantly consistent? Yeah?
- 31:53Speaker 2: You mean consistently constant? Yeah, Thursday morning, big listener dilemma?
- 32:01Speaker 1: Yes, are you ready? I am? Because then I have
- 32:04Speaker 1: a question for you. Are you sitting down? Clearly I'm
- 32:08Speaker 1: sitting down? What are you fucking retarded? My eight year old?
- 32:13Speaker 1: Did I say that word? I apologize, genuinely. I say
- 32:16Speaker 1: that word in the in the meaning that the word
- 32:19Speaker 1: was said, not not against anybody. So I apologize.
- 32:24Speaker 2: My eight year old daughter is putting an incredible amount
- 32:28Speaker 2: of pressure on me to let her watch squid games.
- 32:34Speaker 1: No, can I finish the email here? No? It's not
- 32:41Speaker 1: something that an eight year old should be watching period.
- 32:46Speaker 2: Her classmates. Her classmates apparently have watched this movie several
- 32:56Speaker 2: times and are telling her she's got to see it.
- 33:01Speaker 2: It is an absolute must see.
- 33:04Speaker 1: Is it the Squid Games the the Asian version or
- 33:08Speaker 1: is it the new one the Asian version? No? No,
- 33:13Speaker 1: that promotes so much violence and so much hate and
- 33:17Speaker 1: so much stupidness for money. Okay, and that's the problem
- 33:21Speaker 1: is people want money so badly that they rob banks,
- 33:25Speaker 1: that they rob people, that they hurt, that they do
- 33:28Speaker 1: things that are unconscionable. So this only promotes that. And
- 33:32Speaker 1: any parent that lets their eight year old child watch it,
- 33:37Speaker 1: my question to that is this, Oh, my statement is
- 33:41Speaker 1: this is why the youth are gonna be fucked up
- 33:44Speaker 1: when they get older, because they've got parents who allow
- 33:49Speaker 1: them and don't monitor the best thing yet, these parents
- 33:55Speaker 1: have so many fucking opinions, but they but they let
- 33:57Speaker 1: their child watch something as violent and herc because that, which,
- 34:01Speaker 1: by the way, is a really fucking cool show as
- 34:03Speaker 1: an adult, okay, because I watched it and I was
- 34:06Speaker 1: hooked to it. But I would never let one of
- 34:10Speaker 1: my grandchildren watch that. I would shut that off and
- 34:13Speaker 1: say hell no.
- 34:17Speaker 2: The email goes on and on, this lady explaining that
- 34:23Speaker 2: she watched the movie with her husband and some similar
- 34:29Speaker 2: the way what you just said, but absolutely probably one
- 34:35Speaker 2: of the furthest things appropriate for a young child to
- 34:40Speaker 2: see all.
- 34:41Speaker 1: Because kids watch it, and you know what they're saying,
- 34:43Speaker 1: cool video games, Yeah, they're like cool, look at that.
- 34:48Speaker 1: Oh look all those people got shot because they're not
- 34:50Speaker 1: good enough and that's not what we want to teach
- 34:53Speaker 1: our children.
- 34:55Speaker 2: And yeah, in the email goes on and on about
- 34:58Speaker 2: you know, the gory graphic details of the blood spattering
- 35:05Speaker 2: and so on.
- 35:05Speaker 1: I mean, this is this is sucked. That's a resounding.
- 35:15Speaker 1: That's a hard thing. No, that's that's horrible for me.
- 35:18Speaker 1: I mean, that's just my opinion.
- 35:20Speaker 2: But I'm just wondering, are there any parents watching listening
- 35:27Speaker 2: who are brave enough to admit Valerie said you should
- 35:31Speaker 2: watch it. D I have watched. I watched the the
- 35:34Speaker 2: Asian version. I haven't seen the the other ones.
- 35:37Speaker 1: The new ones are stupid. It's just stupid.
- 35:41Speaker 2: Did they make like a help me out here? Didn't
- 35:44Speaker 2: they make like a TV show or something about it?
- 35:47Speaker 2: That's the New ones?
- 35:48Speaker 1: Okay, I haven't seen any of the Yeah, that's the
- 35:50Speaker 1: new ones. That's just it's less violent. Okay, so but
- 35:55Speaker 1: the old, the the ones that are dubbed in the
- 35:59Speaker 1: dubbed one. Number two sucked, but number one was riveting
- 36:05Speaker 1: for adults because it was like, Wow, this is so sick.
- 36:08Speaker 1: I got to keep watching. But for children, no, come on,
- 36:13Speaker 1: come on, people, come on now. I have a question
- 36:18Speaker 1: for you. All right, did you get to pick up
- 36:21Speaker 1: your medication yesterday?
- 36:24Speaker 4: I did?
- 36:25Speaker 1: How'd that go? People? Sit down? People sit here? It
- 36:32Speaker 1: comes j D. How was your experience? So take a breath? Here,
- 36:42Speaker 1: take a breath. Here's breathe Dave.
- 36:46Speaker 2: Dave is watching this morning, and I hope he's gonna
- 36:50Speaker 2: Dave's a pretty insightful guy. I hope he's going to
- 36:54Speaker 2: be able to shed some light here and help me out.
- 36:57Speaker 2: Why why is it.
- 36:59Speaker 1: That there is this.
- 37:03Speaker 2: Level of paranoia and respect and and everything else that
- 37:09Speaker 2: goes with hippa that is so old. Just make sure
- 37:13Speaker 2: you know you don't even reference because someone could be listening.
- 37:18Speaker 1: And behind the line, so you're not interfering with the
- 37:21Speaker 1: other person's personal information.
- 37:27Speaker 2: But when you walk up to is this just me?
- 37:30Speaker 2: Maybe there's something wrong with me? Dave will tell me.
- 37:35Speaker 2: Why is it that when you walk up to the
- 37:38Speaker 2: counter at the pharmacy and there's three hundred people waiting
- 37:45Speaker 2: in line behind you and they say name, and you whisper.
- 37:56Speaker 2: You give them your your last name, okay, and you're
- 38:01Speaker 2: picking up for two?
- 38:06Speaker 1: Yes, well they turn around first to that Okay, mister Green,
- 38:09Speaker 1: can I have your data birth? Yeah? And you give
- 38:14Speaker 1: it to them and they say, let me let me clarify.
- 38:16Speaker 1: Was that Bop bop.
- 38:19Speaker 2: Eleven ten seventy.
- 38:21Speaker 1: And your phone number? Meanwhile, the guy behind is writing
- 38:24Speaker 1: down all this information.
- 38:25Speaker 2: Go on, does this lady is this lady standing behind
- 38:30Speaker 2: me going oh my god?
- 38:32Speaker 1: JD. Green? He was born in nineteen seventy. He takes
- 38:39Speaker 1: that medication, he's fifty four. Oh my god.
- 38:45Speaker 2: Okay, so you're picking up for two the m load
- 38:48Speaker 2: of pen and the cilis.
- 38:52Speaker 1: Oh my god, what the hell? How did that make
- 38:55Speaker 1: you feel?
- 38:58Speaker 2: I'm just like, can I say really?
- 39:04Speaker 1: Sure? Really? Oh my god? Yeah, stand behind the line.
- 39:11Speaker 1: So he has his privacy, but I'm gonna let you
- 39:13Speaker 1: know what he says to me. Yeah, it's like, my god,
- 39:19Speaker 1: I know really yeah, yeah, do you have to say
- 39:27Speaker 1: the name of the drug.
- 39:28Speaker 2: That's that is that necessary?
- 39:31Speaker 1: And you have blue coss blue Shield Identification number a
- 39:36Speaker 1: R three six seven four and group planned thirty seven.
- 39:43Speaker 1: And then you turn around, ma'am did you get that
- 39:45Speaker 1: back there? Do you want her to repeat that?
- 39:50Speaker 2: Literally says to me yesterday, and we have the AARP two.
- 39:55Speaker 2: So do you have to be your primary chance or second?
- 39:59Speaker 4: Mary?
- 40:03Speaker 1: And now just to verify, can I get your penis size? Sir? Yes?
- 40:07Speaker 1: Now do you want to do the y go V
- 40:13Speaker 1: It's true though there's not It's like, my god, you
- 40:16Speaker 1: whisper it to them and then they're like, I'm sorry,
- 40:18Speaker 1: can you speak up? God? Yeah, I know, I know
- 40:23Speaker 1: you know.
- 40:24Speaker 2: And and I'm getting a text right now. Stop complaining.
- 40:28Speaker 2: Order by mail, That's what I do.
- 40:30Speaker 1: Yeah. I go through UVM mail order and all my
- 40:35Speaker 1: medicine comes in zero dollars. I pay nothing, it's delivered
- 40:40Speaker 1: and they send me ninety days and I get a
- 40:43Speaker 1: little message on my phone. I respond yes, and they
- 40:46Speaker 1: send me automatically. So JP is fat, he's overweight, he's
- 40:54Speaker 1: taking y gov and he's taking cialis, and he has
- 40:59Speaker 1: a blood PRESSU for issues. He's on a melodapen and
- 41:02Speaker 1: he's fifty four years old. The secret's out. God your name. Hey,
- 41:15Speaker 1: how's our buddy doing with the stick up his ass?
- 41:18Speaker 2: Which which one? There's so many.
- 41:20Speaker 1: With the tube up his ass? Uh? So that's that's Chuck. Yeah,
- 41:28Speaker 1: so Chuck, don't you bring it up?
- 41:37Speaker 2: Chuck? Oh yeah, Glen says, don't forget about your prostate. Yeah,
- 41:44Speaker 2: I'm gonna Can we start up, We're gonna start out.
- 41:47Speaker 2: We're going to start this on a serious note.
- 41:49Speaker 1: Sure, okay, all right, we'll stay serious for a minute, please.
- 41:52Speaker 2: And I really mean that, and then we're gonna get
- 41:55Speaker 2: completely inappropriate.
- 41:58Speaker 1: Chuck is Chuck's one of my best friends.
- 42:06Speaker 2: Chuck is forty eight years old, and his birthday is tomorrow.
- 42:16Speaker 1: Okay, Happy birthday, Chuck.
- 42:19Speaker 2: As a birthday present, he's having his first colonoscopy.
- 42:26Speaker 1: Okay, serious, sorry.
- 42:27Speaker 2: Okay, So so on a serious note, I think that
- 42:36Speaker 2: he is probably making one of the top five most
- 42:42Speaker 2: important decisions in his life to have this, and very hesitant,
- 42:47Speaker 2: very reluctant to do this.
- 42:50Speaker 1: Yet a very important procedure.
- 42:52Speaker 2: Sure, a lot of anxiety with this, right rightly so,
- 43:00Speaker 2: because I think we've had we I think we've all
- 43:03Speaker 2: had friends who have had issues in this department, so,
- 43:12Speaker 2: you know. Anyway, So, and I said to Chuck yesterday,
- 43:19Speaker 2: I said, buddy, you're doing You're doing the prep today.
- 43:22Speaker 1: Yeah. I can't believe it. Oh my god, this is
- 43:25Speaker 1: what what are you kidding me?
- 43:28Speaker 2: I've been drinking chicken broth all day and I got
- 43:31Speaker 2: to drink this shit. Now I'm on the toilet every
- 43:34Speaker 2: five minutes. How much more needs to come out of me?
- 43:39Speaker 1: You know, things like this? Right? Okay? And I'm trying
- 43:45Speaker 1: to keep it serious here, but.
- 43:48Speaker 2: I'm like, Chuck, it's very easy.
- 43:50Speaker 1: What do you want me to do? Stream live on
- 43:53Speaker 1: aired out? Yeah, that'd be cool.
- 43:55Speaker 2: I said, Yeah, if you want to go live, send it,
- 43:58Speaker 2: you know, shoot it, shoot the link over to me.
- 44:01Speaker 2: We'll go live right to right.
- 44:03Speaker 1: You're sitting on the bowl of you you know, getting
- 44:06Speaker 1: the uh what did he?
- 44:08Speaker 2: He referred to it as so eloquently too, cleaning out
- 44:15Speaker 2: the Chocolate Highway, or maybe it was the Hershey Highway.
- 44:18Speaker 2: I can't remember what he said. But listen, Chuck is
- 44:26Speaker 2: having this his first colonoscopy right now, right. I said
- 44:31Speaker 2: to him yesterday, I said, you know, I'm going to
- 44:33Speaker 2: be talking about this on the air.
- 44:34Speaker 1: I don't.
- 44:35Speaker 2: I don't give a damn what you do.
- 44:38Speaker 1: And I said, well, he wanted to come on with me,
- 44:41Speaker 1: he wanted to be here this way. He couldn't because
- 44:44Speaker 1: he has a tube being shoved up his ass.
- 44:46Speaker 2: It's not a tube, it's a camera.
- 44:48Speaker 1: It's a camera with a long tube. Sure. I've had
- 44:53Speaker 1: more colonoscopies than I care to mention, seriously, Yes, I've
- 45:00Speaker 1: I get them done for medical reasons. I get them
- 45:03Speaker 1: done on a yearly basis. Okay, And it's not you know,
- 45:08Speaker 1: it's more anxiety of the fear of not knowing than
- 45:11Speaker 1: it is the actual procedure, because they put you in
- 45:14Speaker 1: this twilight that you don't even remember it afterwards. Right,
- 45:18Speaker 1: And that's the best part. I love when they put
- 45:20Speaker 1: me in the twilight. I'm like, just enough that I
- 45:22Speaker 1: really feel wacky, buzzed. I love that feeling. Yeah. But yesterday,
- 45:29Speaker 1: when you told me poor Chuck was going through this, right,
- 45:33Speaker 1: I of course got a visual yes of yesterday being
- 45:39Speaker 1: a funfilled day of shits. Yeah, okay, And today he's
- 45:45Speaker 1: getting it up there. Jet had his first done. He's
- 45:49Speaker 1: never had one before, and he got it done this year.
- 45:52Speaker 2: How How was was jet's piece of cake. Can we
- 45:55Speaker 2: talk about this?
- 45:56Speaker 1: Yeah, we can talk about anything we want. So, but
- 45:58Speaker 1: it was a piece of cake. Nope, no, no issue.
- 46:02Speaker 1: You know, he went through the day before he was
- 46:05Speaker 1: drinking the prep and he's like, when is this going
- 46:07Speaker 1: to start working? And he went through most of the
- 46:10Speaker 1: day without any anything, and he's like, I don't think
- 46:14Speaker 1: this is working because I'm not going to the bedroom.
- 46:16Speaker 1: I'm not and he shut his mouth. That night, interesting
- 46:21Speaker 1: because the floodgates opened and all the pipes were cleared. Yeah. Yeah,
- 46:28Speaker 1: but it's it's it's I think it's the fear, especially
- 46:31Speaker 1: if you've never done it before. Sure, the fear of
- 46:33Speaker 1: not knowing what is this going to? Feel?
- 46:35Speaker 3: Like?
- 46:35Speaker 1: I'm not comfortable having something shoved up there? And sure,
- 46:38Speaker 1: what did the results come back? Because you know, Lee,
- 46:41Speaker 1: my ex wife, dear friend of mine died from colon
- 46:44Speaker 1: rectal cancer. Yes, so it's important to have the screening. Okay,
- 46:49Speaker 1: it's important, especially when you hit a certain age and
- 46:52Speaker 1: they've lowered the age. Now it used to be up
- 46:54Speaker 1: in like early fifties. Now they've lowered it because they
- 46:58Speaker 1: find that the earlier we detected, the earlier we can cure. It,
- 47:04Speaker 1: But it's the fear of what is it like and
- 47:08Speaker 1: what are the results going to be? Sure? I know
- 47:11Speaker 1: for me it's a huge fear. That's why we have
- 47:14Speaker 1: to do it yearly for me because I had issues
- 47:16Speaker 1: in the past. But it's not that bad. It really,
- 47:21Speaker 1: it really is. And I've had endoscopies too where it
- 47:24Speaker 1: goes down the mouth, sure, and that's just as scary.
- 47:32Speaker 1: But good for him, for him, and I can't wait
- 47:36Speaker 1: till he comes on with me so we can get
- 47:37Speaker 1: the detailed blow by blow, sound by sound bite of
- 47:44Speaker 1: what his experience was. And we're going to find out
- 47:47Speaker 1: did he enjoy that camera up there? He may have
- 47:51Speaker 1: liked it, We don't know yet. He very much may have.
- 47:55Speaker 1: I didn't like it, people, but again, you'll put in
- 47:59Speaker 1: such a highlight. You know, whenever I've gone for surgery,
- 48:02Speaker 1: I tell the anesthesiologists because you know, when you go
- 48:05Speaker 1: into the surgery, when you get into the room, they
- 48:08Speaker 1: shoot you up at the stuff and they ask you
- 48:10Speaker 1: to count backwards and you're out in like three four seconds,
- 48:13Speaker 1: right right, That's that's the way it goes. When I
- 48:16Speaker 1: get there, I kind of butter up my anesthesiologist. So
- 48:20Speaker 1: when I'm in the room, I say it, can you
- 48:23Speaker 1: do it really slow? I want to slowly fit. I
- 48:27Speaker 1: want to see the ceiling tiles start to slowly move.
- 48:31Speaker 1: I want to slowly feel myself. I don't want to
- 48:33Speaker 1: just be like five four. I want to be one
- 48:37Speaker 1: hundred to fifty before I pass out, sure, so that
- 48:40Speaker 1: I can enjoy that whole trip, because once you pass out,
- 48:44Speaker 1: the next thing you know, you open your eyes and
- 48:45Speaker 1: it's done. At least give me the thrill of the ride.
- 48:49Speaker 2: Uh, I'm just getting ah, I'm just getting a a
- 48:57Speaker 2: live picture right now of the inside of it's coming
- 49:02Speaker 2: right now, of the the I'm getting a live picture
- 49:07Speaker 2: of the inside of Chuck's colin. I can't see it. Well,
- 49:16Speaker 2: everyone's gonna be able to see it here in a second.
- 49:18Speaker 2: I'm just getting hold on. He's sending me.
- 49:22Speaker 1: He's sending it to you.
- 49:23Speaker 2: He's sending me the live scope video. It's right here.
- 49:31Speaker 2: Oh my god, Oh my really, this can't be true.
- 49:40Speaker 1: I can't see it. I'm afraid. I've got it on.
- 49:43Speaker 1: I've got it on my phone now.
- 49:44Speaker 2: I don't know if I should show this. Oh my god,
- 49:48Speaker 2: I don't know if I should show this.
- 49:50Speaker 1: This isn't really is is it?
- 49:52Speaker 2: It's the real inside of his colon.
- 49:55Speaker 1: Here it is. I'm going to put it on the
- 49:57Speaker 1: screen right now. Buckle up. Oh there it is. You're waiting,
- 50:02Speaker 1: I'm waiting.
- 50:04Speaker 2: Completely empty, There is so much space in there. It
- 50:14Speaker 2: is absolutely clean as a whistle. There is nothing. Look
- 50:20Speaker 2: at this. Look at that.
- 50:23Speaker 1: I can't see it yet. It's not up on mine.
- 50:27Speaker 2: Oh my god, Oh shuck, look at that.
- 50:33Speaker 1: But oh my god, it's so clean. It twinkles. It is.
- 50:39Speaker 1: It's so clean, a twinkles.
- 50:41Speaker 2: Spotless, completely spotless. Wait a minute, wait, hang on a second, um,
- 50:50Speaker 2: the doctor is sending me a text here. Apparently there
- 50:59Speaker 2: has been a few there are a few findings. Uh,
- 51:04Speaker 2: let's see number one on the list. They have just
- 51:09Speaker 2: discovered a lego. What the hell's that all about?
- 51:16Speaker 1: I don't know what they been doing. They've also hold on,
- 51:21Speaker 1: I'm getting another texture. Please don't tell me. They found
- 51:24Speaker 1: a guinea pig.
- 51:25Speaker 2: No, not a guinea pig. Not a guinea pig. A hamster.
- 51:29Speaker 2: A hamster they just found it. Okay, hamster is no
- 51:36Speaker 2: longer living, thank goodness. We have a matchbox car that's
- 51:44Speaker 2: on the list here and ah, I'm not seeing a banana,
- 51:53Speaker 2: not a Oh wait a minute, No, it's not a banana.
- 51:56Speaker 1: Banana.
- 51:56Speaker 2: It's uh a hot It's not a hot talk is
- 52:00Speaker 2: it's orange? Oh it's a carrot. It's a carrot?
- 52:08Speaker 1: Oh my god, Chuck, you've been busy.
- 52:12Speaker 2: How the hell did that get it there?
- 52:14Speaker 1: I don't know what's up? Doc?
- 52:17Speaker 4: Uh?
- 52:17Speaker 2: We got one last thing here on the list. No,
- 52:21Speaker 2: no gerbils. It was no, it wasn't a true Glenn.
- 52:26Speaker 2: Can we please get it right?
- 52:27Speaker 1: It was not a gerbil. I don't know. He's not listening.
- 52:36Speaker 2: The final thing on the list here. Oh boy, this
- 52:41Speaker 2: is really not good. His ex wife's class ring.
- 52:54Speaker 1: They got it. Gee, that's been missing for How did
- 53:00Speaker 1: it get there? I dare not question? Oh my god?
- 53:09Speaker 1: Hey did I tell you? Please? Let's we have to
- 53:12Speaker 1: talk about your sauce Toole's. Let's leave Chuck's ask a
- 53:15Speaker 1: loan for a while, Poor Chuck, Chuck. When you come on, boy,
- 53:19Speaker 1: we're gonna eat you for breakfast. Anyway. Did I tell
- 53:25Speaker 1: you my experience looking at vehicles?
- 53:32Speaker 5: You told me a little bit hysterical. Hysterical, Please do share.
- 53:39Speaker 5: I decided, ladies and gentlemen, this is the real g
- 53:42Speaker 5: right here.
- 53:44Speaker 1: I decided to get rid of my truck. I know
- 53:49Speaker 1: everybody's shocked because they know me in this truck. But
- 53:51Speaker 1: I decided I wanted an suv and Jed is going
- 53:54Speaker 1: to get a great mileage truck, either a Maverick or something. Yeah, yeah,
- 54:01Speaker 1: that's what he wants to get. So I need to
- 54:04Speaker 1: talk with Jeed, okay immediately. And Ridgeline. It's the Ridgeline
- 54:08Speaker 1: in the Maverick of the two that he's looking at.
- 54:09Speaker 4: Anyway.
- 54:10Speaker 1: So I decided to get an suv, and of course
- 54:12Speaker 1: not a small one because I liked driving big things.
- 54:15Speaker 1: But I wanted more comfort. I wanted room, I wanted luxury.
- 54:19Speaker 1: I want all the bells and whistles that God has
- 54:21Speaker 1: created for a vehicle these days. Yes, I want it
- 54:23Speaker 1: at all, which, by the way, now I don't know
- 54:26Speaker 1: how to use half of it, but I'll learn. So
- 54:29Speaker 1: I sent emails out, I did a lot of research online,
- 54:32Speaker 1: a lot of different vehicles, mileage prices, sizes, comfort, I
- 54:38Speaker 1: did all of it. And I contacted three specific dealers.
- 54:43Speaker 1: Yes okay, and I'm not going to say the two
- 54:47Speaker 1: dealers that screwed up, but I contacted three dealers, and
- 54:51Speaker 1: I said, look, this is what I drive. I gave
- 54:54Speaker 1: them vin number, color, all the extras that I put
- 54:58Speaker 1: into it, all the upgrades, everything. Yes, and I told
- 55:02Speaker 1: them how much I wanted for my vehicle period non negotiable, okay, okay,
- 55:09Speaker 1: but I with me knowing you, if you, because I
- 55:15Speaker 1: know you, if you would ever come in to me
- 55:17Speaker 1: and said what you just said, right, I would be like,
- 55:24Speaker 1: that's how it's got to be. Well. I was very clear, said.
- 55:27Speaker 1: The beginning of the email was high, I'm looking at
- 55:30Speaker 1: bah blah bah vehicle, the number, bah blah blah. Okay.
- 55:34Speaker 1: I do not haggle. I'm not into games and I
- 55:37Speaker 1: don't want bullshit. I says, you have your prices, I
- 55:41Speaker 1: have mine. This is what I expect. Can this work period?
- 55:46Speaker 1: And then I told them the vehicle that I was
- 55:48Speaker 1: looking at. I told them what my monthly payment had
- 55:51Speaker 1: to be. I told them exactly what I wanted idot
- 55:55Speaker 1: and I told them exactly what I wanted for my truck.
- 55:57Speaker 1: And at the end of the email, I said if,
- 56:01Speaker 1: and then I put COMMA and then it capitalized. If
- 56:05Speaker 1: you can meet these numbers, please let me know when
- 56:09Speaker 1: I can come and test drive that vehicle. Okay, I
- 56:13Speaker 1: was very clear. It was a very succinct email. Sure, okay,
- 56:19Speaker 1: oh oh and oh, and I put down I am look,
- 56:23Speaker 1: I am test driving my vehicles on Monday, which was
- 56:26Speaker 1: this Monday, that past, and I will purchase a vehicle
- 56:30Speaker 1: Monday and take it home Monday night. Non negotiable. So
- 56:34Speaker 1: I let them know that I am buying on Monday. Period.
- 56:39Speaker 2: Now, comanchie, everything is negotiable.
- 56:43Speaker 1: Not with me. So I contacted these three dealers and
- 56:48Speaker 1: I told them all this, and I said, I will
- 56:50Speaker 1: make a decision Monday and I will drive home with
- 56:53Speaker 1: a vehicle Monday night. So now they know that if
- 56:56Speaker 1: they want this sale, it's happening Monday, right. So the
- 57:02Speaker 1: first dealer calls me up and I said, by the way,
- 57:05Speaker 1: I also put in there text or email response. Okay,
- 57:11Speaker 1: gee is very specific with so everything. Monday morning, get
- 57:18Speaker 1: a phone call from one of the dealers. Hey, Gee,
- 57:22Speaker 1: got your email. Blah blah blah blah blah. The vehicle
- 57:25Speaker 1: you're looking at is beautiful. I said, dude, don't don't,
- 57:29Speaker 1: don't play games. Tell me what's up.
- 57:32Speaker 2: I already know what's beautiful.
- 57:33Speaker 1: So he says, why don't you come down for a
- 57:36Speaker 1: test drive and we'll set it all up for you.
- 57:38Speaker 1: I says, can you meet my numbers? We are definitely
- 57:42Speaker 1: definitely in the ballpark, come on down. Then the other
- 57:46Speaker 1: dealer call me, text me come on down. When can
- 57:50Speaker 1: you blah blah blah. And then the third dealer text
- 57:53Speaker 1: emailed me and said when can you come down for
- 57:56Speaker 1: a test drive? So I go to dealer number one
- 57:59Speaker 1: and I get there and he says, there's the vehicle.
- 58:01Speaker 1: I says, yeah, it's a nice looking vehicle. And he
- 58:03Speaker 1: says yeah. I says, and you met my numbers. Well,
- 58:06Speaker 1: I'm we're about one hundred and fifty dollars off. But
- 58:09Speaker 1: I says, thank you. I asked you either meet it
- 58:12Speaker 1: or don't waste my time. Have a great day, turned around,
- 58:14Speaker 1: got my car left, You're a pain in the ass
- 58:17Speaker 1: check okay, because I was very clear. Went to the
- 58:20Speaker 1: second dealer. I got out of the car and he
- 58:24Speaker 1: came over, are you g Yeah? I am, Hey, how's
- 58:26Speaker 1: it going, buddy? This is the Vida Yup, yup?
- 58:28Speaker 4: I see it.
- 58:29Speaker 1: No, it's a nice vehicle. It great gas mileads. I says,
- 58:32Speaker 1: you got my email of my expectations. Well, I don't
- 58:35Speaker 1: think we're going to be able to give you that
- 58:36Speaker 1: as much for your truck as you want. We'll probably
- 58:39Speaker 1: about two thousand dollars off. I says, thank you. I
- 58:41Speaker 1: was very clear not to waste my time. You're wasting
- 58:44Speaker 1: my time. Have a great day. Got in the car,
- 58:46Speaker 1: but sir, we could probably get the numbers. Oh, now
- 58:49Speaker 1: you can get the nut. I'm not into haggling. Goodbye,
- 58:52Speaker 1: got in my vehicle and I left. Got to the
- 58:56Speaker 1: third dealer met me out side because he saw the
- 59:01Speaker 1: truck pull up and I already told him what I
- 59:02Speaker 1: had and everything. Met me outside. I was like, hey,
- 59:05Speaker 1: how's it going. He's like good, he said, are youug?
- 59:07Speaker 1: I says yeah, he says, beautiful fucking truck, dude. I
- 59:09Speaker 1: was like, thank you. So I says that the vehicle
- 59:12Speaker 1: on test right, that's the one over there. I says,
- 59:14Speaker 1: in the numbers, he says, exactly what you asked for.
- 59:16Speaker 1: It's all set up. If you like that, you can
- 59:20Speaker 1: have it. I says, in the numbers that I gave
- 59:23Speaker 1: you for my truck done and the monthly payments are
- 59:27Speaker 1: done and the downpayment done. I says, so let's be
- 59:31Speaker 1: clear what you're giving me for my truck. You're going
- 59:34Speaker 1: to pay it off and the difference you're going to
- 59:36Speaker 1: put down on this vehicle. Done, took it for a
- 59:40Speaker 1: test drive, came in called Jed said I like it.
- 59:43Speaker 1: He says, do it. The guy said, listen, if Jed
- 59:46Speaker 1: can't get down here today to sign the papers, you
- 59:51Speaker 1: take the vehicle today, take the papers with you and
- 59:54Speaker 1: drop them off in the next day or two. I said, really,
- 59:58Speaker 1: I can. I have the vehicle with it out even signing. No,
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: everything's set, you'll set anything else you need from us.
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: Where was this? The Hyunda idealer right down the road
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: next to McDonald's and Burger King, of course from the
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: Chinese buffet, treated me like a king. From the second
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: I got there. The manager came over, sat with me.
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: We chatted about trips to Italy and all this stuff.
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: We talked about the vehicle. He told me that for
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: the entire time I have the vehicle, I'm covered under
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: these warranties and that warranty and this didn't try to
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: upsell me packages or any of that bullshit. Okay, but Zach,
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: the manager treated me like gold. Okay. Adam, who was
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: my sales consultant, didn't haggle and negotiate bullshit with me.
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: And then they said, well, we want to put a
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: new battery in detail it. Can you pick it up tomorrow?
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: Is that okay? I said, I told you I want
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: it today. And they ran in the back room and
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: told him pull that fucking vehicle in and make sure
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: it's the way he wants it. And I left him
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: with my vehicle. That is the service that I wanted.
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: They probably didn't say fucking vehicle though, No, yeah.
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: But that's the service that that's the service you should
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: get when you go down there. And Jed doesn't go
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: into dealers. He hates them. He doesn't want to spend
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: four or five hours sitting there doing paperwork and haggling
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: his And I told him that, and so that I
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: bought the paperwork home. Jed signed everything, he went through
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: it with a fine tooth comb, signed it. I brought
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: it back the next day, all set. That's the way
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: you should be. So highly recommend going down to that
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: dealership because they don't pressure you. There was a lady there,
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: she got tons of information, looked at different vehicles, this
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: and that. The salesman spent a good hour answering all
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: her questions and she didn't buy anything, and he was
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: totally totally cool with that. He says, can I touch
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: base with you in the spring? Says, yes, please do
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: That's the way it should be. Not wait wait, wait
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: before you leave. Wait wait, none of that ship. I
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: hate that ship. So now the g Man has a
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: new vehicle. Good for you. It's big, and what is it?
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: It is a Santa Fe oh god twenty Yeah, Santa
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: Fe Calligraphy Edition, which is the second to top of
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: the line, because you know, I like nice, okay. And
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: when I said, what's the difference between the calligraphy and
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: the top of the line, he says, oh, the top
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: of the line costs more. Because ready, the seats massage you.
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: I says, I don't need to be massaged a second.
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: They're heated or they actually moved. They actually massage you.
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: And I was like, I can't drive and be massage that.
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: I'll go to sleep. But the seats actually massage you.
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: So I went with the lesser model, which is the
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: top of the line. Yeah okay, And it's the calligraphy addition,
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: and it's gorgeous. You saw the interior. It's it's gorgeous.
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: And there's so many bells. Please, I have to use
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: my fingerprints so that it knows I'm the driver number one.
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: And it sets every mirror's seats, floors, heat, everything all
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: to what I want. Then when Jed gets in, he
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: puts his in and boom, it readjusts everything.
- 1:03:32Speaker 2: Just for him, so nobody can steal this thing. Right,
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: Oh yeah, no, but and please.
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: It even has calf rests that are on the side
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: of the seat that when I sit there, it goes
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: up so that it when I'm I got comfort under
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: my calf while I'm using my foot on the gas pad. Oh,
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: it's the thing is crazy, unbelievable, unbelievable. So multiple sun roofs,
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: two sun roofs, yes, one for the back. It's it's
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: street seating, white leather. Though I know sow you I
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: have greg from the detailing GK.
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: Or nothing he needs to detail.
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: No, I'm saying, but if the seats get dirty, he's all.
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: He'll be ready. He even said, bring it down. Let's
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: get an undercoding on it, which I'm gonna do because
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: it protects the undercoding from this salt and everything. He says,
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: And if you want, I'll give it a quick detail
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: for you because he details better than dealers. Yeah. And
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: even the dealership told me, Zach told me, listen, they
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: got a lot of cars that got to come in detail,
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: go out this and that, he says. So they don't
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: do one hundred percent of what he knows. My expectation
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: is sure. And Greg said, bring it down. I'll give
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: it the full.
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: Over Greg Kelly, Yeah, GK Auto Detail.
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: Yeah. And right up by the roundabout, Yeah, right up
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: by the roundabout in Orange. He's amazing, we need to
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: get down there. Well that's East Berry. Yes. So but
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: this this McGee's Hyundai. Yeah, they treat you and and
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: they also have the Ford and they have the Jeep
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: and Ram all down on that line.
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: Dave wants to know if it's a hybrid.
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: It is not a hybrid. I was looking at hybrid's, Dave,
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: the hybrids, believe it or not. Jack your monthly payments
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: up about one hundred and fifty two hundred dollars more
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: because there's so much in it. There's so much other
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: stuff in it, and I was looking at it. However,
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: I do get thirty miles to the gallon, which versus
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: my truck that got eighteen miles to the gallon. I'm
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: okay with that difference, and my payments are less than
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: my truck was. So they literally gave me everything that
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: I asked for, and I'm very thrilled.
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: I want to talk about one of my percenting sponsors
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: right here that aired out Montpellier Volkswagen.
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: I stopped over there, and I'm not a big least guy,
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: but I stopped over there and was looking at this
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: new Tikwan wolf condition.
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: Yes, oh my god, the Tiguans are kind of cool.
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: My brother drives beautiful. Oh he does, Yeah, he does.
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: He has an older one. He's actually looking to trade
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: his vehicle in because his is all paid off, so
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: he'll get all that cash to put to it something.
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: And he's I just sent Zach down at Hyundai his information.
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: It's beautiful, all wheel drive, leather, heated seats.
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: Yeah, oh my god, my god, my power seats, sun roof,
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: Holy shit, right, I mean, oh, it's sprinkling wipe has
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: go on for you to touch nothing. High beam low
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: beam automatic, high beam low being automatic. And I mean,
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: here's why the power lift gate is of particular interest
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: for me. Labrom surgery right, bad shoulders right, horrible, no
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: cartilage in the shoulders. Here's how high my my hands go? Right? No,
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: you have you have a deficit there and something like that.
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: I mean, no, it's a deficit with a capital D.
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: Buy no bucket. But vehicles like that that you could
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: either put your foot under it and it opens automatically.
- 1:07:14Speaker 2: That can't reach up there and grab the till. Get
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: this right here, this is the first left hand.
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: Is the first time I've had a vehicle that opens
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: automatically in the back. And I love it.
- 1:07:24Speaker 2: Yeah, so I love I love the powerlift gate. Yeah,
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: gotta get it here. And here's the deal. No money down,
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: zero percent from up to sixty months, three ninety six
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: a month for thirty six months.
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: Love them. Yeah, mod pill your Volkswagon. See, And I
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: looked at that. That was one of the ones that
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: I was doing research on. It just wasn't big enough
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: for what I like.
- 1:07:44Speaker 2: Yeah, they also have the Atlas and the Atlas crossboard.
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: I've been looking at those two. I mean, it's just
- 1:07:50Speaker 2: beautiful cars. Yeah, just beautiful, beautiful stuff. This twenty twenty
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: five vw id Buzz the bus Yeah yeah, yeah, it's
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: so cool, all electric Trombley and I are going to
- 1:08:03Speaker 2: be taking this thing for a test drive. I promise
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: you if we do, I will stream it live. I
- 1:08:08Speaker 2: am going to be going over to and they don't
- 1:08:11Speaker 2: know this yet, but I'm going to be pulling into
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: Montpelier Volkswagen real soon you drive up, the gate comes open,
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: you pull forward into this service bay that frankly, you
- 1:08:26Speaker 2: could eat off the floors. Yeah, million times cleaner than
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: my own house. When you drive forward, there's they've got
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: a million dollar computer. Yeah that is shooting the side
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: of your tires and checking your alignment as you're pulling through.
- 1:08:45Speaker 2: I need to get an alignment. I hit a bump. Please, folks,
- 1:08:49Speaker 2: if you if you know the particular pothole that I'm
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: talking about, there's one that's so bad. It's so bad
- 1:08:58Speaker 2: that have actually thought about going over there and stream
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: in life on Barry Street in Montpillier. Was driving down
- 1:09:05Speaker 2: Berry Street in Montpellier the other night in the rain
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: at night. What happens g you hitle the rain is
- 1:09:14Speaker 2: filling up the potholes, so.
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: It looks like a regular road.
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: You get the glare, you can't see it. It was
- 1:09:21Speaker 2: the loudest bang shit on the dashboard went flying and
- 1:09:28Speaker 2: and I kid you not, are you ready for this?
- 1:09:30Speaker 2: It shifted into neutral. Wow, my car went from D
- 1:09:38Speaker 2: to N on its own. That's how hard of a
- 1:09:41Speaker 2: hit it was. Where I had to I got on like, oh,
- 1:09:44Speaker 2: that's definitely a flat.
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: I got over.
- 1:09:47Speaker 2: I pulled over and got out with the flashlight looking
- 1:09:50Speaker 2: at I can't believe I didn't get a flat.
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: I can't believe you didn't mess up your axel.
- 1:09:57Speaker 2: Been on the highway since so far, steering straight, but
- 1:10:02Speaker 2: I don't know. I could be out of alignment. And
- 1:10:05Speaker 2: when I get the summers, when I get the summers
- 1:10:07Speaker 2: tires putting on, you bet your ass. I'm going to
- 1:10:09Speaker 2: get an alignment and I'm going to get it at
- 1:10:12Speaker 2: Montpellier Volkswagen right there. Yeah, telling you man, No, I know,
- 1:10:17Speaker 2: crazy crazy stuff. It is, these these podles. I say
- 1:10:21Speaker 2: this every year, and I mean it. I genuinely mean it.
- 1:10:26Speaker 2: I said last year, this is the worst year ever.
- 1:10:28Speaker 2: I said the year before that, this is the worst
- 1:10:30Speaker 2: year ever. This I'm saying it right now. This is
- 1:10:33Speaker 2: the worst year ever.
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: You know. And I don't want to get into it, no,
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: because you're gonna get people like Glenn brummert saying, come on,
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: you live in Vermont. No get nice to it. No, no, no, no, Glad,
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: I'm going to disagree with that. If you do say that,
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: I'm going to disagree with that because there are places
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: that you go to in New England that have just
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: as much snow and just as much rain and ice
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: we get here in Barry, and the taxes in Barry
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: are high enough that these roads should not be as bad.
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: What do they do? They put these fills in them
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: As soon as the plow goes by, the fill is gone. Okay.
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: Come on the amount of money you're spending to put
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: people out there to fill these frickin' holes. Okay, And
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: now that I don't have a truck with those big
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: tires that I used to have and stuff, now I
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: have to be more attentive.
- 1:11:28Speaker 2: What have you have you seen the filling that they've
- 1:11:31Speaker 2: done from Stones down into Berry?
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: What is that? It's all right, it's all kicking up.
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: I mean, stop wasting our taxpayer money on bullshit fills
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: and just bite the bullet and get it done, because
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: these roads are horrible. And are they gonna pay when
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: my axle breaks because I hit it? Cause you know,
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: damn well, Barry, that I will sue if I hit
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: one of those deep potholes and and my truck my
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: car gets ruined, they'll be I will show up at
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: city hall with the paperwork saying pay this.
- 1:12:07Speaker 2: I remember very well driving within a cab that wasn't
- 1:12:14Speaker 2: really an official.
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: Cab.
- 1:12:17Speaker 2: Long story i'll share with you someday in Jamaica.
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: Uh huh. Actually it was who's some guy and Enrico,
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: I can't remember his name. It was his private car.
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: I was throwing him some cash, right, And the roads
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: in Jamaica, third world country, Yeah, horrific. Yep, not as
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: bad as Vermont. I know, I know, I know, I know.
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: There are off roads in Puerto Rico that are so
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: fucking scary that you're like, how could you driven? And
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: still not as bad here. It's like driving through trying
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: to avoid landmines everywhere.
- 1:13:06Speaker 2: I mean, you're gonna get into a head on collision.
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: We went to Florida and when we came back, we
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: were driving home and I said to Jed, oh my god,
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: we must be back in Vermont because the road sucked.
- 1:13:17Speaker 2: Well, why don't you just move to Florida? Then, Geane,
- 1:13:20Speaker 2: why are you complaining there's a new trend in.
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: I have an answer for you, but oh go ahead.
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: My answer is my husband and I. I just might.
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: But my answer is my husband and I are polar
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: opposites when it comes to weather. And he runs hot, okay,
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: So in forty degree weather, he's in shorts and he's
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: still warm. Me I run cold. So when it's seventy
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: five degrees I'm like, is it gonna warm up yet?
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: So going to Florida this time if it was ideal
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: because it's not too hot and it wasn't too cold,
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: so Jed enjoyed the climate and I did. When the
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: summer time comes, it gets hot and sticky, I mean
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: super sticky, okay, And Jed can't do that because he'll
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: literally pass out.
- 1:14:16Speaker 2: Sure where me.
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: In Vermont this cold weather, I can't go outside because
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: of my asthma, so I have to wrap my face
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: and everything else. So moving to Florida isn't an option
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: because he can't live there all twelve months. He would
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: literally die of heat. But there's more temperate areas, Oh
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: my god, there's plenty between here and Florida, and going
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: towards the west coast more there's a lot of things,
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: and he and I have had conversations about it. Sure,
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: because I can't. I can't Vermont in the winter very
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: much longer. Okay, I cannot Vermont winters. And he knows that.
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: I hear you, okay, but he han't Vegas summers, understand.
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: So we have to find a happy medium, Okay. So
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: that's why we don't move down there. Otherwise I would
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: have just stayed there.
- 1:15:12Speaker 2: Glenis wrote Barry's Roads hurt my teeth, Yes, good one, Glen. Seriously,
- 1:15:21Speaker 2: the other day I hurt the back of my head
- 1:15:25Speaker 2: because my head went forward.
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: Yeah, the back, Yeah, whiplash.
- 1:15:30Speaker 2: Right into No. I hit the back of my head
- 1:15:33Speaker 2: in my head rest right, Yeah, unbelievable. Milan Fashion Week
- 1:15:39Speaker 2: is going on right now, and I figure, you know,
- 1:15:42Speaker 2: as I would killed to be there as a gay man.
- 1:15:45Speaker 2: I knew that you would say.
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: That, see you stereotype the gay community. I don't care.
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: I don't care. Okay, Yes, I I would kill to
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: be in Paris or Milan during the fashion Okay. I
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: lived for going into Manhattan to the fashion district all
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: the time. I loved it. I would love to go
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: and just I have fashioned stuff at home that I
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: can't wear in Veramon because people would look at me like,
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: what are you fucking weird? Okay, but I have really
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: expensive jewelry and expensive clothes and stuff that I when
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: I go to Manhattan to a show whatever with Jed,
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: that's when I get to pull out my really nice
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: stylish stuff because in Vermond, I mean I wore leather
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: pants once with this really cool shirt to a bar
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: and everybody looked at me like I was on crack.
- 1:16:42Speaker 2: There is a apparently a new trend that is being
- 1:16:49Speaker 2: revealed at the Milan Fashion Week, and I do tell gee,
- 1:16:55Speaker 2: I am I swear to you. Please google if you
- 1:17:00Speaker 2: don't believe me, google this because I'm not making this up.
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: This new trend is plumber's crack. Oh my god, low cut.
- 1:17:13Speaker 2: Sheens with a hint of plumbers crack showing for both
- 1:17:17Speaker 2: men and women.
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a fashion I will never get my head around.
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: I understand that we'll put my ass in. I understand
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: that we that things are very different. But if plumbers
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: crack is becoming a popular trend, uh, we need to
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: really start rethinking a few things here bout you think
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: you think?
- 1:17:50Speaker 2: And it was apparently having a little moment on the runway,
- 1:17:55Speaker 2: and almost immediately people went online and said that they
- 1:17:58Speaker 2: they are praying that this this hot new trend.
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: Dice quick, dice quick. Yeah, don't forget that stuff back there?
- 1:18:10Speaker 2: Oh yes, can we do that?
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: Now? You can do anything you want, all right? I
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: sent you the pictures. Do you have them? I do,
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: because then you just show them? Yeah, I do? Right here?
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: What don't you you tell? Well? I brought down four
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: different sources that I make. I love how you say
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: sauces cas. I'm from New York, say it agains. I
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: brought down four different sources. There's three jaws of each.
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: I have tons of it at home, but three jaws
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: each here that I'm going to leave here.
- 1:18:42Speaker 4: One is my.
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: Herb source with the impossible meat in it, which means
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: that there's no meat in it's the impossible meat, which
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: tastes absolutely amazing. I am pro meat. I know. You
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: know that I'm a carnivore.
- 1:18:59Speaker 2: I know, and I'm telling everyone that I have had
- 1:19:05Speaker 2: this and it was fantastic.
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: You never know, it wasn't meat.
- 1:19:09Speaker 2: I loved it. Sharon lit loved it, Lily loved it.
- 1:19:13Speaker 2: We made a pasta bake with it and it is incredible.
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: Thank you. And then I have testimony, and then I
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: brought down my all herb sauce. It's all fresh herbs.
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: I literally the herbs came to me fresh from the
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: market and they went right into the pot. Okay, that's amazing.
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: No meat, no nothing. You're Italian, I'm Italian. You know
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: what you're doing. Yes, and fresh garlic, fresh herbs. Just
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: an herb sauce really really really good for people who
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: don't eat meat. Then I have my herb and sausage sauce,
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: which is ground sausage in it, and the sausage I
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: got right here from ar market because they have a
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: amazing sausages there. So that one is the sauce with
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: herb and sausage. And then I bought the regular hamburg
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: or chopped meat, yes, in the sauce with herbs. So
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: there's four. There's two that are meatless because it's the
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: impossible meat, the impossible meat and the herb sauce. And
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: there's two one that has sausage and one that has
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: regular chopp befitted. Okay, So I brought those down here.
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: And I also bought my spicy pickles because they are.
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: They have been in there now for a couple of months.
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: They're the longer they sit, the nicer flavor. But they
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: are ready now. So I brought down three jaws of that,
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: and anybody is welcome to them. I enjoy a donation
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: of between three fifty and four dollars a jaw if
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: anybody wants.
- 1:20:55Speaker 2: It's a fifty cents swing there.
- 1:20:57Speaker 4: Bup.
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: I know, I know, well, you know you can donate more.
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: You know, it's a donation. So but they're going to
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: be here, and anybody can can contact me or you
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: they can come pick it up. And I have plenty
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: at home. Also. Wow, I get neighbors that say, hey,
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: I'm making a source. Can I am making pasta tonight?
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: You have one of those impossible ones? I said, yeah,
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: and I give it to them and they give me
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: some donation and they make dinner. Okay, So they're going
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: to be here. I think we're going to put them
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: on displaying the window for the next couple of days
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: so that people can walk by and see them. And
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: I'd like to put them in display in the window
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: right now. Yeah, whenever. But I'm just saying, all right,
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: they're here because you asked me to bring them. So
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: I brought that. Yeah, it's wonderful. Yeah. Did you put
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: the pictures up? I did, Okay, yeah, then they know
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: what it looks. Yeah, people are are Yeah. I just
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: had them up a second acoust So this is amazing. Yeah. Yeah,
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: I love cooking. I mean, I know you're cooking. You know.
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: During the holidays, I always do my cheesecakes.
- 1:21:55Speaker 2: So I've had I've had one of the cheese cake.
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: Cupcakes cupcakes because I make regular cheesecake and like five
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: different flavors, and then I also make the cupcake cheesecakes.
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: You all New York cheesecakes with a secret.
- 1:22:10Speaker 2: Recipe in it, you had, you made a whole bunch

- 1:22:23Speaker 1: Cake birthday cake. Okay, I would love one. I'd love
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: my whole just one whole cheesecake. That's fine. Yeah. I
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: usually sell those in like from November into January because
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: people order them the cupcakes for the New Year when
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: they have New Year's Eat parties, and so I do
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: you know, strawberries in them and or I'll do chocolate mousse,
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: or I do chocolate chip, or I do peppermint. You know,
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: it's all different depending on the event. And I've always
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: done that. I just this year. I didn't really advertise it, yes,
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: but I'll probably do it again next year. And I
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: also make them whenever somebody wants one. And this is
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: the real you know, I've gone to the cheesecake factory.
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: I've gone to New York and eaten some of their
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: New York cheesecakes are all generic or whatever. These are.
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: These are the real real deal, creamy, really good stuff,
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: like a thin slice is filling, and they're great with
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: coffee in the morning. Cheesecake and coffee, Oh yeah, good stuff.
- 1:23:28Speaker 2: We have a stupid criminal here on Thursday morning that
- 1:23:36Speaker 2: these two guys true story here and you can google
- 1:23:40Speaker 2: this one too. Two guys just got busted.
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: Again.
- 1:23:48Speaker 2: True story. They tried to use a cannon to launch
- 1:23:54Speaker 2: some drugs into a prison and they were successful in getting.
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: The uh, the packages of drugs over the fence, right,
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: but they you know, but they ended up over there.
- 1:24:15Speaker 2: When you're out there with a fucking bazooka loaded up
- 1:24:18Speaker 2: with cocaine.
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: All right, spray that hair spray in there.
- 1:24:24Speaker 2: I think we're gonna be able to make it, you know.
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: And now they're in there. But so now they're in
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: with their drugs.
- 1:24:35Speaker 2: Uli did stuff like this. Yeah, I'm just seeing this
- 1:24:40Speaker 2: in the in the news. The other thing I wanted
- 1:24:44Speaker 2: to tell you before we h we head out is
- 1:24:49Speaker 2: about this woman in San Bernardino used bolt cutters to
- 1:24:56Speaker 2: break into an animal shelter and set two dozen dogs free.
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: Oh my god, to what just roam the streets? Yes,
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: well that's stupid, that's stupid. Now, now these dogs are
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: going to be out there looking for food and stuff.
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: At least in the shelter they were getting care.
- 1:25:19Speaker 2: Hello, there's security footage of her leafing while a bunch
- 1:25:25Speaker 2: of dogs are following. Are out in the morning.
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: Here's your sign when you got nothing to do and
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: you have insomnia, set dogs free. Oh my god. Apparently
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: they caught her. The police caught her. Did she have
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: a collar arrested? Well, she might have one on her ankle.
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: They arrested her on an outstanding warrant.
- 1:25:52Speaker 2: And I guess the shelter managed to round up all
- 1:25:57Speaker 2: of the dogs but one good, and he's out having
- 1:26:01Speaker 2: a blast. He's probably out there getting laid right now, somewhere,
- 1:26:06Speaker 2: tearing through the neighborhoods.
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: Looking for some heat, baby, digging holes in people's backyards.
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: Don't forget eating their trash, having fun. Yeah, don't forget.
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: I'm gonna bring a friend in soon. Yeah, what's the else.

- 1:26:24Speaker 1: know that soon I will be not alone. Okay, But
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: in the meantime, I want to know where that dog
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: is and what it's doing, and how many children it
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: is spawning everywhere. New breed's coming out because of one
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: dog screwing all different dogs.
- 1:26:46Speaker 2: Now, when you say who left the dogs out day.
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: Some lady in sin Bernardino, Yes, who couldn't sleep in
