- 0:01Speaker 1: Now sevenor presents, no Mark Simon Shaw, Hey, it's Monday already.
- 0:13Speaker 1: All right, We've got a lot to get to. We'll
- 0:14Speaker 1: go over the oscars, we'll get to that. We'll get
- 0:17Speaker 1: to obviously Iran, We'll get to crazy Mom Donnie and
- 0:22Speaker 1: what he's up to. We'll get to some more Epstein
- 0:24Speaker 1: revelations coming up. Some of the last people you'd think
- 0:28Speaker 1: would get implicated in the Epstein stuff are. We'll get
- 0:32Speaker 1: to the TSA, the shutdown, and a whole lot more Iran,
- 0:37Speaker 1: inside intel from people. War three more weeks, about three
- 0:45Speaker 1: more weeks of the war. Straits of horn Moose could
- 0:48Speaker 1: be opened by the weekend, possibly, but war about three
- 0:52Speaker 1: more weeks. Now. You're gonna hear this false narrative everywhere
- 0:54Speaker 1: if you watch the fake news, that there was no planning,
- 0:59Speaker 1: there's no active they just went in there without any plan.
- 1:02Speaker 1: There's detailed planning on every step of the way. There's
- 1:06Speaker 1: detailed planning, contingency plans, contingency plans for the contingency, and
- 1:11Speaker 1: they've got this all figured out now. Of course, as
- 1:13Speaker 1: they say, when you go into where anything can happen
- 1:15Speaker 1: and your plans change. But give it about three more
- 1:18Speaker 1: weeks gas prices it will spike during this They could
- 1:21Speaker 1: hit five dollars a gallon, which media the Democrats are
- 1:27Speaker 1: outraged about. Of course, it was five dollars a gallon
- 1:29Speaker 1: the whole Biden administration. They never said a word. But
- 1:32Speaker 1: instead of four years of Biden gas prices, you're going
- 1:35Speaker 1: to get about four weeks of this. And there's things
- 1:39Speaker 1: that can do to ease up the gas prices. And
- 1:41Speaker 1: by the way, it doesn't affect the US as much
- 1:43Speaker 1: because we don't really buy that gas. The gas coming
- 1:46Speaker 1: out of Iran usually goes to India, China and other countries.
- 1:50Speaker 1: We got enough gas to supply ourselves for the next
- 1:52Speaker 1: hundred years here in this country. They've lifted sanctions on
- 1:58Speaker 1: Russian oil for a month. That way the market will
- 2:02Speaker 1: get flooded with more Russian oil. The fact that they
- 2:06Speaker 1: lifted the sanctions on Russia for a month indicates that
- 2:09Speaker 1: maybe Russia is helping us with some things in Iran.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Putin and Trump have been talking, so that gesture from
- 2:16Speaker 1: Trump might be in exchange for whatever help Putin has offered.
- 2:21Speaker 1: Russian oil, by the way, is dirty, very hard to refine.
- 2:25Speaker 1: It's the last oil you want to use, so we
- 2:27Speaker 1: don't use it, but it's oil that China and other
- 2:29Speaker 1: countries will use. The visit to China, by the way, Trump,
- 2:35Speaker 1: President Trump scheduled to visit China in a couple of weeks.
- 2:37Speaker 1: Looks like that's probably going to get postponed. It wouldn't
- 2:42Speaker 1: make sense to visit at a time like this, and
- 2:44Speaker 1: security wise a nightmare trying to protect the president and
- 2:48Speaker 1: all of this. You don't really know where China stands
- 2:51Speaker 1: on this whole Iran mess. The Iatola son Iotola Junior,
- 2:56Speaker 1: supposedly the new leader. Nobody has seen him. He was
- 3:02Speaker 1: blown up in one of those bombing attacks, lost a leg,
- 3:06Speaker 1: has been in a coma, facial damage. So you know,
- 3:11Speaker 1: when you talk about the cost of the war. By
- 3:12Speaker 1: the way, we got the number the cost of the
- 3:14Speaker 1: war so far, twelve billion dollars. Twelve billion dollars is
- 3:19Speaker 1: the cost so far. And that's a little less than
- 3:21Speaker 1: a billion dollars a day. It's expensive, but worth it
- 3:25Speaker 1: for what you'll get out of this. You're totally disarming
- 3:27Speaker 1: a rand, which is by the way, the first objective.
- 3:30Speaker 1: Take away all the threats, the nuclear threat, the missile threat,
- 3:35Speaker 1: all that sort of stuff. That's been accomplished. So it
- 3:40Speaker 1: cost us twelve billion. But look at the Iatola cost
- 3:42Speaker 1: him an arm and a leg. But now the other
- 3:44Speaker 1: thing about this Ayatola, the sun Is intelligence supports are
- 3:50Speaker 1: that he's gay. President Trump laughed out loud when he
- 3:54Speaker 1: heard this, because the Iahtola himself leaved in death for
- 4:01Speaker 1: gay people. Sodomy is illegal and a capital offense in Iran.
- 4:05Speaker 1: Being gay is illegal in Iran, and it was always
- 4:08Speaker 1: said that he didn't want his son to succeed him,
- 4:11Speaker 1: and that could be why gay is considered a horrible
- 4:15Speaker 1: thing in Iran. It's a crime. You go to jail
- 4:17Speaker 1: or actually you get hanged for being gay. And so
- 4:21Speaker 1: it's a strange situation over there. Iran lashing out. This
- 4:26Speaker 1: is their last gasp. They've bombed hit the Dubai airport
- 4:30Speaker 1: with a drone, a lot of people that were happened
- 4:32Speaker 1: to be in Dubai tourist business whatever, having no idea
- 4:37Speaker 1: this war would break out. And it's been very, very
- 4:40Speaker 1: bad in Dubai and other places, but things calming down.
- 4:45Speaker 1: They do have, apparently Iran quite an inventory of drones,
- 4:49Speaker 1: so we're gonna have to take those out. Drones are
- 4:52Speaker 1: a problem, but bit by bit they'll get them all.
- 4:55Speaker 1: There is a marine expeditionary force that's going there, twenty
- 5:00Speaker 1: five hundred marines. Now, what this will be used for
- 5:03Speaker 1: is a rapid strike force. When this was in part
- 5:07Speaker 1: to open the Straits of Hormoose. Sometimes these speed boats
- 5:10Speaker 1: are these unmanned boats come flying off the coast to
- 5:14Speaker 1: hit anything going to the Straits of horm Moose. Well,
- 5:17Speaker 1: when they do this, they can see where it came from.
- 5:19Speaker 1: The strike force will quickly go ashore, take it out
- 5:22Speaker 1: and quickly leave. So it's a strike force that would
- 5:25Speaker 1: only go in for like an hour half an hour
- 5:27Speaker 1: and be out, So probably the Straits of horm Moose.
- 5:32Speaker 1: First of all, if you could even move the tankers,
- 5:34Speaker 1: you could have naval escorts, and that's been done in
- 5:37Speaker 1: the past. The insurance companies are holding this up. It's
- 5:41Speaker 1: basically Lloyd's of London and the tanker companies. They don't
- 5:46Speaker 1: want to lose a tanker because a tanker, the actual
- 5:49Speaker 1: tanker costs about one hundred and ten million dollars. The
- 5:53Speaker 1: oil on board could be worth one hundred and fifty million,
- 5:56Speaker 1: so that's two hundred and fifty million you'd lose them
- 5:59Speaker 1: the tanker. But more than that, each tanker has a
- 6:01Speaker 1: crew of thirty people. And that's the problem with the
- 6:04Speaker 1: insurance companies. It's not so much the oil or the tanker.
- 6:08Speaker 1: That's the loss of life. That's where insurance companies have
- 6:10Speaker 1: real problems, and they don't want to get involved in that.
- 6:13Speaker 1: So you could lose thirty lives because when you hit
- 6:16Speaker 1: a tanker, it just blow up and kill everybody. So
- 6:19Speaker 1: that's that's the problem. But expect the straits of horn
- 6:21Speaker 1: Mooves to be open within days, not weeks. It's been
- 6:25Speaker 1: closed before every war. Every war we get into in
- 6:28Speaker 1: that region, straits of horn Moose gets closed, it gets mined.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Remember the tanker wars was closed for a while, So
- 6:34Speaker 1: it's happened before. It'll happen again. The Epstein files, we'll
- 6:43Speaker 1: get to that coming up. Some really amazing names coming
- 6:46Speaker 1: out of there. He speaking of the Iran War, the
- 6:49Speaker 1: best poster in the world, John McLaughlin. Do people support
- 6:52Speaker 1: this war in Iran? Yes, almost sixty percent fifty eight percent.
- 6:57Speaker 1: Fifty eight percent of the public fifty eight percent back
- 7:01Speaker 1: of the war, and even stronger majority sixty one percent
- 7:07Speaker 1: say that we must finish the job, so the public
- 7:10Speaker 1: is behind it. Oscar's last night, Well, Conan O'Brien, everybody
- 7:16Speaker 1: thought he did a great job. They don't make an
- 7:19Speaker 1: Oscar host anymore. The Oscar host used to be the
- 7:23Speaker 1: most legendary, biggest comedian on earth. It was Bob Hope
- 7:26Speaker 1: for years. It was Johnny Carson for years, and by
- 7:29Speaker 1: the way, we'll talk about Johnny Carson in the next hour.
- 7:32Speaker 1: And you don't have people like that anymore. You got,
- 7:36Speaker 1: you know, this great comedian, Sebastian Maniscalco and people like that,
- 7:39Speaker 1: but they're not legendary, monumental Mount Rushmore type comedians that
- 7:44Speaker 1: they're just not of that stature. There's nobody of that
- 7:46Speaker 1: statue anymore. So Conan comes closest, not that he was
- 7:50Speaker 1: of that stature, but in today's crazy world, of all
- 7:53Speaker 1: these people show up in the oscars and you don't
- 7:55Speaker 1: know who the hell they are, Conan's the only one
- 7:57Speaker 1: you know, and the only one that's been around for
- 8:00Speaker 1: a while. And he's geeky and gawky, but he has
- 8:03Speaker 1: a certain confidence on stage and the way he moves
- 8:06Speaker 1: it's a confident kind of look. So and he's funny
- 8:11Speaker 1: and listen. He's not hysterical, but he's funny. He was
- 8:15Speaker 1: a good MC.
- 8:16Speaker 2: I'm honored to be the last human host of the
- 8:19Speaker 2: Academy Award. Yeah yeah, next year it's going to be
- 8:26Speaker 2: a way mow and.
- 8:27Speaker 1: A toughs not bad so. And he's got a charm
- 8:31Speaker 1: and a warmth about him, unlike that Jimmy Kimmel who
- 8:34Speaker 1: comes out and it's like a dark cloud that just
- 8:36Speaker 1: comes out. He's just a angry, bitter looking, angry guy.
- 8:40Speaker 1: He's not there to entertain you. He's not there to
- 8:43Speaker 1: have fun. He's there to scold you, lecture you, tell
- 8:46Speaker 1: you how much smarter he is. So he did attack
- 8:49Speaker 1: CBS News. There was a presenter or two that yelled
- 8:53Speaker 1: free Palestine or something so that. I mean, they just
- 8:56Speaker 1: look like idiots and they do that Barbara streisand that
- 8:59Speaker 1: was quite a moment for half the audience. The other
- 9:02Speaker 1: half of the audience don't know. They didn't know who
- 9:04Speaker 1: the hell she was. And that's the problem. You know,
- 9:07Speaker 1: you watch the Oscars, you go, who are these people?
- 9:09Speaker 1: I don't watch the Red carpet. I don't know any
- 9:11Speaker 1: of these people, these current celebrities, who are they? I
- 9:16Speaker 1: don't know any of it. Well, for people on their
- 9:18Speaker 1: forty when Streisand comes out, let's say, people under thirty five,
- 9:21Speaker 1: when Streisand comes out, they don't know who this is.
- 9:23Speaker 1: They have no idea who this is. And she's talking
- 9:26Speaker 1: about Robert Redford. They don't even know that. So and
- 9:29Speaker 1: apparently Jane Fonda was very upset, very upset that Streisand
- 9:36Speaker 1: did the tribute to Robert Redford and said to people
- 9:39Speaker 1: at the party afterwards, she said, I did four movies
- 9:42Speaker 1: with him, She only did one. Hell was she doing
- 9:44Speaker 1: the tribute? They wanted her to sing. She wasn't going
- 9:47Speaker 1: to sing. She finally did sing like half of the
- 9:50Speaker 1: way we were So that wasn't bad. Tribute to Rob Reiner.
- 9:55Speaker 1: He had some big memoriams this year. Billy Crystal was
- 9:58Speaker 1: Reiner's best friend. He did that for us.
- 10:01Speaker 3: Who had the privilege of working with and knowing him
- 10:04Speaker 3: and loving him. All we can say is, buddy, what
- 10:09Speaker 3: fun we had storming the Castle?
- 10:12Speaker 1: Yeah, some good moments. It was about a three hour show,
- 10:15Speaker 1: two hours and forty five minutes. We didn't get the
- 10:18Speaker 1: ratings yet, but it's not you know, it's not gonna
- 10:20Speaker 1: be like in There were times where eight hundred million
- 10:23Speaker 1: people around the world would see the Oscars, fifty sixty
- 10:26Speaker 1: seventy five million in this country would see the Oscars.
- 10:29Speaker 1: It's going to come in at like eight nine million.
- 10:32Speaker 1: And it's not what it used to be. And people
- 10:34Speaker 1: don't go to the theaters much anymore. They stay home.
- 10:37Speaker 1: They watch Netflix, and I don't blame them. Why should
- 10:39Speaker 1: you go to a theater and you can watch a
- 10:41Speaker 1: million things? You know, you go to you look what's
- 10:43Speaker 1: playing at the theater? Four choices? Go on Netflix, what's
- 10:47Speaker 1: playing forty thousand choices and you can watch them the
- 10:51Speaker 1: comfort of your own home. The chairman of Netflix was
- 10:54Speaker 1: there in the Oscars. Conan O'Brien looked at him.
- 10:56Speaker 2: Netflix CEO Ted Sorrandos is here and this is he's exciting.
- 11:01Speaker 2: It's his first time in a theater. This is what
- 11:08Speaker 2: they're talking about. Why are they all together and joining
- 11:12Speaker 2: them first.
- 11:15Speaker 4: A jov home.
- 11:17Speaker 2: Well I can.
- 11:18Speaker 1: Mortify that, all right, that's pretty good. That's pretty good.
- 11:21Speaker 1: More Conan.
- 11:22Speaker 2: It's the first time since twenty twelve, first time since
- 11:26Speaker 2: twenty twelve that there are no British actors nominated for
- 11:30Speaker 2: Best Actor or Best Actress. Yeah, British spokesperson said, yeah, well,
- 11:36Speaker 2: at least we arrest our pedophiles.
- 11:39Speaker 1: So you got that. Oh, I don't know what that means.
- 11:44Speaker 1: We did arrest Epstein, he's our pedophile. We did arrest him,
- 11:49Speaker 1: but he died in jail. Actually we arrested him, prosecuted
- 11:52Speaker 1: him twice. Jesse Buckley, Big Winner, Best Actress.
- 11:58Speaker 5: It's Mother's Day in the UK today, so I would
- 12:05Speaker 5: like to dedicate this to the beautiful chaos of a
- 12:10Speaker 5: mother's heart.
- 12:11Speaker 1: Yeah. I was at an oscar party, hundreds of people
- 12:14Speaker 1: and they're all saying, who's Jesse Buckley? What movie he
- 12:18Speaker 1: was on? Amy Madigan want I hate these kind of speeches.
- 12:22Speaker 1: You know, if you want to thank the director, if
- 12:25Speaker 1: you want to thank the writer, but when you start
- 12:28Speaker 1: thanking your family. We don't need to hear this.
- 12:30Speaker 6: Do it.
- 12:31Speaker 4: The most important is my beloved Ed.
- 12:36Speaker 1: This is what I mean. I'm sure Adds a nice guy.
- 12:38Speaker 1: We don't know who the hell Ed is. Nobody knows that.
- 12:41Speaker 1: Do we need to hear all about Ed?
- 12:42Speaker 4: The most important is my beloved Ed, who's betten with
- 12:50Speaker 4: me forever and that's a long time and none of
- 12:56Speaker 4: us would mean anything if he wasn't by my side.
- 13:00Speaker 4: Thank you very much. I'm very overwhelmed.
- 13:03Speaker 1: Millions of people watching don't know who the hell she is.
- 13:06Speaker 1: They never heard of Ed. None of this would have
- 13:09Speaker 1: happened without Ed. You know what, I bet it would
- 13:11Speaker 1: have happened without Ed. You could have married a guy
- 13:13Speaker 1: named Frank, a name name named Jesse. It might have happened.
- 13:17Speaker 1: I don't know if it's all Ed. Michael B. Geordan,
- 13:19Speaker 1: everybody liked him again, one of those speeches mentioned too
- 13:22Speaker 1: many names, but seemed like a really sweet, lovable guy.
- 13:25Speaker 6: Sidney Poitier, Denzel Washington, how may Day, Jamie Fox, Forrest Whitaker,
- 13:30Speaker 6: Will Smith, And to be amongst those giants, amongst those
- 13:34Speaker 6: great greats, amongst my ancestors, amongst my guys. Thank you
- 13:37Speaker 6: everybody in his room and everybody at home for supporting
- 13:40Speaker 6: me over my career.
- 13:41Speaker 1: Yeah, I know, he seemed like a really nice guy.
- 13:43Speaker 1: I won for the movie, and I don't know any
- 13:45Speaker 1: of these movies Hamnet with the Hell's Hamnet? And what
- 13:48Speaker 1: did he win for?
- 13:50Speaker 6: Was it?
- 13:50Speaker 1: Sinister? I don't know who knows what moved sinners? Sinners.
- 13:55Speaker 1: I've never heard of any these movies. The only one
- 13:57Speaker 1: I saw was Marty Supreme and it didn't win, but
- 14:00Speaker 1: it got nine nominations. It didn't win mainly because, well,
- 14:04Speaker 1: there were a lot of reason. Timothy Shamalay kind of
- 14:07Speaker 1: made a fool out of himself during his Oscar campaign
- 14:10Speaker 1: that screwed things up, and critics always say said it
- 14:14Speaker 1: was too dark. It was nobody, nobody to really root
- 14:16Speaker 1: for in the film, So that could be Hey, we'll
- 14:19Speaker 1: get to Epstein coming up. Boy, some of the names
- 14:23Speaker 1: that come out in their deep pack show pra ooh
- 14:27Speaker 1: does he look bad in the Epstein files. There's a
- 14:29Speaker 1: few others like that. We'll get to all of that
- 14:31Speaker 1: coming up, and we'll get to the TSA. The strike continues.
- 14:35Speaker 1: Democrats are going to get a lot of flak for
- 14:37Speaker 1: they've been offered three chances to reopen the partial shutdown,
- 14:42Speaker 1: reopen that Department of Homeland Security, which is TSA, Coast
- 14:46Speaker 1: Guard a lot of vital stuff, but they won't do it. TSA.
- 14:50Speaker 1: We lost three hundred TSA agents. The other problem, who
- 14:55Speaker 1: has sympathy for the TSA. These are the guys that
- 14:57Speaker 1: keep you in line for an hour and a three
- 14:58Speaker 1: hours and pat you down. But got to get that
- 15:02Speaker 1: reopen anyway. We've got a lot to get to. We'll
- 15:04Speaker 1: get to crazy Mom, Donnie and all his nonsensical, lunatic ideas.
- 15:10Speaker 1: Tomorrow's Saint Patrick's Day. Don't even think of coming into
- 15:12Speaker 1: Manhattan tomorrow. It's gonna be a traffic nightmare. Today is
- 15:15Speaker 1: going to be a rainy, windy mess. But sixty degrees.
- 15:18Speaker 1: We'll take some calls. Next. Eight hundred three two one
- 15:22Speaker 1: zero seven ten is the number. Eight hundred three two
- 15:25Speaker 1: one zero seven ten
