- 0:00Speaker 1: Any time in my career that I would try to
- 0:02Speaker 1: like fast forward to think about like the outcome of something,
- 0:06Speaker 1: it ends up just like adding more mental stress that.
- 0:09Speaker 2: You can't control.
- 0:22Speaker 3: What up, everybody, and welcome to this Thursday live brand
- 0:25Speaker 3: new episode of Dodgers Territory. Clint Pasillas, Katie Wu, Alana
- 0:30Speaker 3: Rizzo with you for the next 30 minutes.
- 0:32Speaker 4: We are psyched that you guys are here. Get the
- 0:33Speaker 4: comments into the chat.
- 0:35Speaker 3: We are going to talk all things wildcard action coming up.
- 0:39Speaker 3: But first, we have a very special guest, Tyler Glasnow,
- 0:44Speaker 3: joining the show. Tyler Glass now joining us now on
- 0:48Speaker 3: this very special episode of Dodgers Territory. Glass, we appreciate
- 0:52Speaker 3: you taking the time. I know that everybody, certainly the
- 0:55Speaker 3: fan base, is chomping at the bit for you guys
- 0:57Speaker 3: to get into postseason action.
- 1:00Speaker 4: What's that mentality been like for you guys?
- 1:02Speaker 3: Just kind of waiting to see who you're going to
- 1:04Speaker 3: play and finally getting the postseason going.
- 1:07Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, we've had some experience these last couple
- 1:10Speaker 1: of years, just kind of waiting and seeing and we
- 1:12Speaker 1: have like a watch party every day and we're all
- 1:14Speaker 1: kind of together watching it um but we're all excited
- 1:17Speaker 1: we're all ready to go i think coming off of
- 1:19Speaker 1: the last two world series we're kind of we got
- 1:21Speaker 1: some good energy going into it we played really well
- 1:23Speaker 1: towards the end of the season similar to last year
- 1:25Speaker 1: so i think we're just we're all happy.
- 1:28Speaker 2: And in a good spot.
- 1:31Speaker 5: All right glass i want to get into the watch
- 1:32Speaker 5: parties because i think that's just fun i've been having
- 1:34Speaker 5: my own watch party uh by myself for the last
- 1:37Speaker 5: couple days. So that's been nice. But the reporter in
- 1:39Speaker 5: me wants to wants to know get into the logistics.
- 1:42Speaker 5: What do you think your role is going to be
- 1:44Speaker 5: in the NLDS? We talked to Dave Roberts earlier in
- 1:46Speaker 5: the week. He said he hadn't quite set the rotation.
- 1:49Speaker 5: Last year in this series, you served in kind of
- 1:52Speaker 5: a hybrid role. Do you see yourself as more of
- 1:54Speaker 5: the traditional game for starter this series?
- 1:57Speaker 1: I think that's kind of more the vibe I get.
- 1:59Speaker 1: I don't think anything's been decided yet. I'm still sort
- 2:01Speaker 1: of just leaving it open.
- 2:02Speaker 2: To whatever you need me to do.
- 2:05Speaker 1: If I had to guess, I'd say I think I'm
- 2:07Speaker 1: just probably going to start game four, but if they
- 2:11Speaker 1: need me in the pent-up, I'll do that too.
- 2:14Speaker 6: It's about being ready with this team and you're ready
- 2:18Speaker 6: at the right time, obviously. Not the season you were
- 2:21Speaker 6: expecting in terms of being healthy, being on the mound,
- 2:25Speaker 6: but As it seems to line up, everybody is kind.
- 2:28Speaker 2: Of ready to go right now.
- 2:30Speaker 6: What for you is the biggest challenge over the course
- 2:34Speaker 6: of a season of kind of like seeing that bigger
- 2:36Speaker 6: picture of, you know.
- 2:37Speaker 2: Shit, I really want to get off the mound right now.
- 2:38Speaker 2: I'd love to be out there competing.
- 2:40Speaker 6: But, you know, especially with this organization, the most important
- 2:44Speaker 6: month of the season is October. What's that kind of
- 2:46Speaker 6: like challenge and balance for you to get there?
- 2:50Speaker 1: Yeah, I think it's just normal. I don't think they
- 2:52Speaker 1: slow play it any different. I think just the injury
- 2:55Speaker 1: itself took a lot longer. And I think I tried
- 2:57Speaker 1: to come back when I felt good and then I'd
- 3:00Speaker 1: maybe go a little too hard and then re-injure it
- 3:03Speaker 1: and kind of have a setback. But I think it's
- 3:06Speaker 1: just perspective. I think it's just a matter of the
- 3:09Speaker 1: ultimate goal is the postseason. But I think to just
- 3:12Speaker 1: any time you are hurt, you are trying to like...
- 3:15Speaker 1: I think if they came up and were like, hey,
- 3:16Speaker 1: we want you to take longer... on the aisle to
- 3:19Speaker 1: like be, I'd be like, I can't, I'm not doing that. Like,
- 3:22Speaker 1: so it just kind of ended up happening that way.
- 3:24Speaker 1: I missed like a pretty good chunk of the season
- 3:27Speaker 1: with the back, but I think once everything felt good
- 3:29Speaker 1: and I was in my rehab starts and I wasn't
- 3:31Speaker 1: thinking about.
- 3:31Speaker 2: It anymore, I knew I was in a good spot.
- 3:33Speaker 2: So I'm just glad I'm healthy at this time.
- 3:36Speaker 3: Tyler, the fact that you might start game four just
- 3:38Speaker 3: makes me laugh because I look at you and I
- 3:40Speaker 3: see you as an ace on so many other teams,
- 3:42Speaker 3: certainly a one-two combination of any other rotation.
- 3:45Speaker 4: You look at this Dodgers rotation.
- 3:47Speaker 2: Is this the.
- 3:48Speaker 3: Best postseason rotation starting staff ever assembled? I mean, it's
- 3:52Speaker 3: almost sickening how good you guys are.
- 3:56Speaker 2: Yeah, it's pretty wild. I think just to be a
- 3:58Speaker 2: part of it is special.
- 4:00Speaker 1: And like the front office has done such a good job,
- 4:02Speaker 1: but curating the starting staff and the whole team as
- 4:05Speaker 1: it like, in general but um i think so i
- 4:08Speaker 1: don't know what are the other what would the other
- 4:10Speaker 1: like with like the braves in 94 like i don't
- 4:13Speaker 1: know what the other what is like a comparison of
- 4:15Speaker 1: like the best starting it's kind of hard regular season
- 4:18Speaker 1: too because so much injuries and like we haven't logged
- 4:20Speaker 1: a ton of innings as a starting staff um i
- 4:22Speaker 1: think when we're healthy the numbers are pretty crazy but
- 4:25Speaker 1: i think we'll have to just like go pitch well
- 4:27Speaker 1: in the postseason and then we can reevaluate that the
- 4:29Speaker 1: title of best whatever at the end of this postseason
- 4:32Speaker 1: i guess by fair i Yeah, I.
- 4:34Speaker 3: Think if you think about the 94, sorry, Katie, but
- 4:36Speaker 3: if you think about the 94 Braves or whatever, you know, Glavin, Maddox,
- 4:39Speaker 3: and Smoltz, sure, you think about perhaps the A's, you know,
- 4:42Speaker 3: Barry Zito and, you know, that type of stuff, but
- 4:45Speaker 3: I guess certainly in recent memory, you guys are pretty special.
- 4:49Speaker 2: Katie, go ahead.
- 4:51Speaker 5: I mean, yeah, that's why I've been calling you guys
- 4:53Speaker 5: the rotation aces in pretty much every story I've written,
- 4:56Speaker 5: completely overriding it, but it is true when.
- 4:59Speaker 2: You think about just the pedigree of.
- 5:00Speaker 5: Each of you guys, and this is even without Shomei Otani,
- 5:03Speaker 5: but To this point of having so many accomplished arms
- 5:07Speaker 5: in this rotation, they've been able to use you, the
- 5:10Speaker 5: Dodgers have, in so.
- 5:11Speaker 2: Many different ways.
- 5:12Speaker 5: You think back to 2025, whether it was coming out
- 5:14Speaker 5: of the bullpen, starting some pivotal games, even closed out
- 5:17Speaker 5: game six of the World Series. What has the experience
- 5:20Speaker 5: in the different roles for you in October when it's
- 5:22Speaker 5: completely different from the 162 we just played? How has
- 5:25Speaker 5: that allowed you to kind of adapt and prepare for
- 5:27Speaker 5: however they might need you this year?
- 5:31Speaker 1: Uh, yeah, I think it's, I was fortunate enough to
- 5:34Speaker 1: have like a little bit of time in the bullpen
- 5:35Speaker 1: with the pirates to figure out, like, I think the
- 5:37Speaker 1: routine part of it is always a little weird for
- 5:39Speaker 1: starters that go straight into the pen.
- 5:41Speaker 2: Like you don't know when to get hot, when to
- 5:42Speaker 2: not and blah, blah, blah. So I had that figured out.
- 5:45Speaker 1: Um, but I think it just helps with like, I
- 5:48Speaker 1: guess if I'm looking back to last year, like I
- 5:50Speaker 1: think going into, I remember what my bullpen appearance was,
- 5:54Speaker 1: it was a game one, maybe two.
- 5:56Speaker 2: I don't know. Yeah.
- 6:01Speaker 1: No what was I against the Phillies I pitched in
- 6:02Speaker 1: the pen like the sixth or seventh inning and I
- 6:04Speaker 1: remember like I think it was cool because the adrenaline
- 6:07Speaker 1: coming out of the bullpen is a lot different than
- 6:09Speaker 1: as a starter it's more of like a slow drip
- 6:11Speaker 1: all day long as a starter and then in the
- 6:13Speaker 1: pen I wasn't really used to that like jump up
- 6:16Speaker 1: of adrenaline and I remember I think if I was
- 6:19Speaker 1: younger or less experienced I would go out and be
- 6:20Speaker 1: like I have a lot of adrenaline I can throw
- 6:22Speaker 1: really hard so I'm going to try and throw really
- 6:24Speaker 1: hard I think I was actively like okay I know
- 6:26Speaker 1: I have more adrenaline I need to calm down like
- 6:28Speaker 1: emotionally and like relax and just try to get back
- 6:31Speaker 1: in the zone. So I think like having that huge
- 6:33Speaker 1: spike of adrenaline in the pen was like, oh, okay, cool.
- 6:36Speaker 1: And then I could kind of compare and contrast when
- 6:38Speaker 1: I was out there as a starter. And I think
- 6:40Speaker 1: the experience that I've had in the postseason, like pitching
- 6:43Speaker 1: so much in the postseason is like a huge benefit
- 6:47Speaker 1: for me. So I think like all that is like
- 6:48Speaker 1: such a learning experience. And then now I think I
- 6:51Speaker 1: kind of just look at it like if you're on
- 6:53Speaker 1: the mound, it's kind of the same thing. You might
- 6:54Speaker 1: feel a tiny bit different beforehand, but once you go
- 6:56Speaker 1: out and start like start competing and throwing the batters.
- 6:59Speaker 1: You're not thinking about like what you did before. It's
- 7:02Speaker 1: just a matter of competing. And I think it's just,
- 7:04Speaker 1: I'm not maybe as nervous to do different roles. I
- 7:07Speaker 1: kind of just, whatever they need, I can do.
- 7:10Speaker 6: Was it, I think it was world series game six
- 7:13Speaker 6: last year. You came in, got like three or two
- 7:15Speaker 6: outs on one pitch or something like that.
- 7:17Speaker 2: Should do definitely that. If you're, if you're, you know,
- 7:19Speaker 2: throwing in relief there.
- 7:21Speaker 7: Yeah, we are here.
- 7:23Speaker 6: Knocking on the doorstep of post-season baseball. I think back to,
- 7:25Speaker 6: you know, that world series, obviously the, We don't need
- 7:28Speaker 6: to look so much at 2025, but just you still
- 7:31Speaker 6: get the chills as a baseball fan thinking about all
- 7:34Speaker 6: the different moments and how so many things had to
- 7:36Speaker 6: kind of break your guys' way to get there and
- 7:40Speaker 6: win that game seven, get to a game seven, win
- 7:43Speaker 6: that game seven. The fun of postseason baseball, like what
- 7:46Speaker 6: is your favorite part of, I'm on the TV side.
- 7:50Speaker 2: You are on the important side. You're there on the mound.
- 7:53Speaker 6: What is the most exciting, the most like your favorite
- 7:55Speaker 6: part of post-season baseball, whether it be the stands introductions
- 7:59Speaker 6: being that, that raised intensity on the mound.
- 8:02Speaker 2: What is it for you?
- 8:04Speaker 1: I think winning is, I think like that's also, yeah,
- 8:09Speaker 1: I think the coolest part is definitely like advancing each series.
- 8:12Speaker 1: Like you kind of have this, like you always have
- 8:14Speaker 1: this a little bit of like nervousness, excitement, like all
- 8:16Speaker 1: these sort of emotions. And then you get like a
- 8:20Speaker 1: tiny little, Not a break, but like, oh, okay, I
- 8:22Speaker 1: can relax and enjoy this for like an hour.
- 8:25Speaker 2: And then like on to the next one.
- 8:26Speaker 1: So I think that's like the coolest part, like winning
- 8:29Speaker 1: the DS, being like sweet, popping balls with your friends,
- 8:32Speaker 1: do whatever, hanging out that night.
- 8:34Speaker 2: And then you get on to the next one. I
- 8:35Speaker 2: guess my favorite on-field stuff is probably... Man, I don't know.
- 8:41Speaker 1: I think like probably like any inning that's like a
- 8:44Speaker 1: sticky situation that could determine a game and then like
- 8:46Speaker 1: you either get out of an inning or the offense...
- 8:48Speaker 1: delivers like a big inning. I think like just volatile,
- 8:51Speaker 1: exciting moments like that is, is probably my favorite. I
- 8:54Speaker 1: don't know about like the, like the intros is a cool,
- 8:57Speaker 1: but I'd say probably more.
- 8:58Speaker 2: Like big moments in each individual game. If I could.
- 9:02Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 9:02Speaker 2: Tell me that.
- 9:03Speaker 3: Tyler, I don't know how much attention you're paying to
- 9:06Speaker 3: the other series in these all-watch parties and stuff, but
- 9:09Speaker 3: a lot was said about Chad Tracy kind of yanking
- 9:12Speaker 3: veteran arm Sonny Gray out of the game a little
- 9:15Speaker 3: bit too early, perhaps the same situation with Peyton Tolley,
- 9:18Speaker 3: although very different levels of experience, very different.
- 9:20Speaker 4: Parts of their career.
- 9:22Speaker 3: How much stock do you put in analytics versus the
- 9:26Speaker 3: eye test? I believe there's a place for both.
- 9:29Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 9:31Speaker 3: And postseason's different, is it not, than the regular season
- 9:33Speaker 3: when it comes to that stuff?
- 9:36Speaker 2: I think so. I mean, I remember when I was
- 9:38Speaker 2: with the Rays, like, we were really good, obviously.
- 9:41Speaker 1: We were good in postseason, too, but I think regular season,
- 9:44Speaker 1: I think the analytics stuff, like, they have these formulas
- 9:46Speaker 1: and algorithms, and, like, they're very spot-on. Or, like, you'll be,
- 9:50Speaker 1: for example, I guess if they say, like, this team
- 9:51Speaker 1: will win 92 games, by the end of this season,
- 9:53Speaker 1: they'll win 90 to 94 games. Like, you're really, it's
- 9:58Speaker 1: very quantifiable, and I think even like bullpen arms and
- 10:01Speaker 1: matchups and stuff like that. But I do think even
- 10:04Speaker 1: like some front office guys were like, it's just so
- 10:05Speaker 1: weird that once you get into the postseason, like every
- 10:07Speaker 1: algorithm we have just doesn't it doesn't work anymore. And
- 10:11Speaker 1: there's like an emotional aspect to it. So it's not
- 10:13Speaker 1: as like plug and play. as the regular season. But
- 10:16Speaker 1: I think personally, I think I'd rather lean on analytics
- 10:19Speaker 1: more than the eye test, but you can't get rid
- 10:21Speaker 1: of either one. Like, I think you need to have
- 10:24Speaker 1: a good balance of both. Like just because the computer,
- 10:26Speaker 1: the matchup says, do this for sure. You have to
- 10:28Speaker 1: be able to like be a human and be like, well,
- 10:31Speaker 1: he kind of hasn't been looking great recently. And I
- 10:33Speaker 1: know he's a little sore. I know like, there's a
- 10:35Speaker 1: lot of different things you have to do. But I
- 10:38Speaker 1: think like, The whole like stop with the analytics. You
- 10:42Speaker 1: need to be able to... The full eye test, I think,
- 10:45Speaker 1: is the dumbest decision you can do. I think humans
- 10:47Speaker 1: in general are like emotional and stupid sometimes. So I
- 10:50Speaker 1: do think it's probably... I think it's like 80 to 20.
- 10:52Speaker 1: I think you got to lean on analytics 80% and
- 10:55Speaker 1: then 20% needs to be like the human element of it.
- 10:58Speaker 2: All right. Interesting.
- 10:59Speaker 3: Because I do feel like in 2020, I think the biggest...
- 11:03Speaker 3: benefit to the Dodgers in 2020 was Kevin Cash pulling
- 11:07Speaker 3: Blake Snell. All of a sudden, the Dodgers offense was
- 11:10Speaker 3: able to connect against the Rays' bullpen. Before Katie comes
- 11:15Speaker 3: back on here, what is going on between Tarek Skubal
- 11:19Speaker 3: and Blake Snell?
- 11:19Speaker 4: I mean, they are besties.
- 11:21Speaker 2: Besties. Magic happened. They just met each other. It was
- 11:26Speaker 2: love at first sight, I guess. They're two good personalities.
- 11:31Speaker 2: They're both really funny they have like a like a
- 11:34Speaker 2: unique humor and.
- 11:35Speaker 1: It matches up well um and i think they're both
- 11:37Speaker 1: just competitors and they like learn from each other and
- 11:39Speaker 1: like we're here all in like a collective same goal
- 11:43Speaker 1: so it's a nice it's like a foundation for like
- 11:45Speaker 1: a nice blossoming friendship but they're both like the best
- 11:48Speaker 1: i love like sitting in the dugout with them talking
- 11:51Speaker 1: um i just think everyone like the daughters do a
- 11:53Speaker 1: good job too of getting like a lot of good
- 11:55Speaker 1: people together i think if you have like weird character
- 11:59Speaker 1: issues or you're selfish i think a lot of times
- 12:00Speaker 1: they'll they may like forego trying to get you, but
- 12:03Speaker 1: everyone knows like how good of a teammate Scooble is.
- 12:06Speaker 2: And he cares about his teammates and Blake's the same way.
- 12:09Speaker 2: And it's just been like a nice, a melding of minds,
- 12:12Speaker 2: I guess.
- 12:13Speaker 6: Hey, how does, how does Dave Vasse feel about losing
- 12:16Speaker 6: Scooble or sorry, losing Stella and that bromance?
- 12:20Speaker 8: I don't know.
- 12:20Speaker 2: I think they still got a pretty strong, strong bromance.
- 12:23Speaker 2: So I think, I think there's room for everyone to
- 12:25Speaker 2: have a bromance.
- 12:26Speaker 7: That's fair.
- 12:28Speaker 2: What you got?
- 12:28Speaker 5: All right. Glass whip. We talked to Max Benci earlier
- 12:32Speaker 5: in the week, and he reiterated the bi-week activities. Of course,
- 12:35Speaker 5: you guys want to get your live sessions in, maybe
- 12:37Speaker 5: some sim games, but also big on the camaraderie of
- 12:40Speaker 5: this team. And you just mentioned the importance of kind
- 12:43Speaker 5: of what we're seeing in the rotation. But team-wide, you
- 12:45Speaker 5: guys kind of have that same vibe. When you are
- 12:49Speaker 5: focusing on the watch parties that the Dodgers have set up,
- 12:52Speaker 5: whether it's watching Padres-Cubs, or I mean, today I would
- 12:55Speaker 5: imagine it would be Atlanta Phillies what's that like why
- 12:58Speaker 5: is that important and how does that help you guys
- 13:01Speaker 5: get through the bye week.
- 13:04Speaker 1: Uh I think it's just like another opportunity to like
- 13:07Speaker 1: bond and hang out together and we've done it every
- 13:09Speaker 1: year um there's always just if there is like a
- 13:11Speaker 1: way to find a a way to have people spend
- 13:15Speaker 1: more time together I think it's just like an easy
- 13:16Speaker 1: decision to do it um we uh I yeah I
- 13:20Speaker 1: don't know I think it's just like nice to bond
- 13:22Speaker 1: and like Everyone's watching the game, like internalizing.
- 13:25Speaker 9: It in their own way.
- 13:26Speaker 1: And like, you're just around your buddies and your friends,
- 13:27Speaker 1: the people that you're going to play with. I think
- 13:29Speaker 1: it means a good amount to probably a lot of,
- 13:34Speaker 1: a lot of people on the team. And it's just like,
- 13:35Speaker 1: and we're all friends. It's like, why wouldn't we do that?
- 13:37Speaker 1: We'll just, we'll be at the field. We'll work out
- 13:38Speaker 1: together and we'll go, there's food. It's like, it's, it's
- 13:41Speaker 1: a no brainer.
- 13:43Speaker 5: It's literally my dream day. Okay, who is the funniest
- 13:47Speaker 5: person on the team to watch these games with? Who
- 13:49Speaker 5: has the most dramatic reactions? There's always a character.
- 13:52Speaker 2: Who is it?
- 13:54Speaker 1: I mean, probably Kike is usually a general answer to
- 13:56Speaker 1: most of it.
- 13:57Speaker 2: He'll always have the good.
- 13:58Speaker 1: He participates a lot and is hilarious in basically everything.
- 14:01Speaker 1: Miggy and Kike are probably the two that would participate
- 14:04Speaker 1: the most in the funny banter and stuff.
- 14:08Speaker 6: Yeah, everybody's always going to go Kike because Kike is
- 14:11Speaker 6: a good time. I've seen a little bit of narrative
- 14:15Speaker 6: with the team, and I wouldn't call it ho-hum or
- 14:20Speaker 6: lackadaisical or whatever, but obviously there's a Dodger mantra. You
- 14:23Speaker 6: play one game at a time, and the narrative is
- 14:26Speaker 6: you got a lot riding on the line this year.
- 14:28Speaker 6: You're going for a three-peat. You're going for history, blah, blah, blah.
- 14:31Speaker 6: I mean, anytime you can win a World Series, I
- 14:32Speaker 6: think that's pretty– that is history being made there.
- 14:35Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 14:37Speaker 6: Is that, I wouldn't say, is it the right mentality?
- 14:40Speaker 6: Because obviously it is a great mentality to have. It's
- 14:42Speaker 6: what leads to so much success for this team is like,
- 14:46Speaker 6: you are just playing this game. Don't get too far
- 14:48Speaker 6: ahead and all that kind of stuff. Like, what would
- 14:50Speaker 6: you say to, you know, somebody challenging the Dodger mindset
- 14:55Speaker 6: of one game at a time?
- 14:56Speaker 2: I would say, look at the numbers.
- 14:58Speaker 6: It says, we know what we're doing, but thoughts on that.
- 15:01Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 15:02Speaker 1: I think a lot of people can relate in like
- 15:03Speaker 1: different situations where I know like for me when I
- 15:06Speaker 1: was younger, most guys when they're playing and they're younger,
- 15:08Speaker 1: you'll like, for example, if I'm starting and I'm in
- 15:11Speaker 1: like low A and I have like five starts and
- 15:13Speaker 1: I have a four year A, I would go and
- 15:15Speaker 1: be like, okay, if I have two more good starts
- 15:16Speaker 1: and I give up one, like you start to play
- 15:18Speaker 1: these games to like try to dictate the outcome of
- 15:22Speaker 1: how your season's going to be or this or that.
- 15:24Speaker 1: And like any time in my career that I would
- 15:26Speaker 1: try to like fast forward to think about like the
- 15:28Speaker 1: outcome of something, it ends up just like adding more
- 15:33Speaker 1: mental stress that you can't control. And it's like a
- 15:36Speaker 1: cliche thing to be like control, which you can control.
- 15:38Speaker 1: And even when they would tell.
- 15:39Speaker 2: Me that when I was younger, I was like, that
- 15:41Speaker 2: is stupid, but it's true.
- 15:42Speaker 1: Like, I think you're trying to eliminate like any extra
- 15:47Speaker 1: noise in your mind. Like you have like the things
- 15:49Speaker 1: you can control and then there's all this other stuff,
- 15:52Speaker 1: but like worrying about winning or like worrying about like,
- 15:55Speaker 1: can we do like a three-peat or whatever now, there's
- 15:59Speaker 1: not really anything you can do to make that happen.
- 16:03Speaker 1: And thinking about it more is not going to make
- 16:06Speaker 1: it any easier. So I think a lot of times
- 16:08Speaker 1: it comes with experience, but we have such an old team.
- 16:12Speaker 1: Most guys, I'm sure, in their career at one point
- 16:14Speaker 1: have thought too far ahead and it hasn't worked out
- 16:17Speaker 1: for them. And I know, yeah, for me, when I
- 16:20Speaker 1: do that, it's not good. So it is very much
- 16:23Speaker 1: like control what we can today, And then tomorrow's a
- 16:25Speaker 1: new day and like this and that.
- 16:27Speaker 2: It just makes it much, much easier.
- 16:32Speaker 5: All right, Glass, before we let you go, because I
- 16:33Speaker 5: know you have to get to the field soon, and
- 16:35Speaker 5: so do I. There were some comments after the Padres-Cubs
- 16:39Speaker 5: game by their new ownership where they alluded to the
- 16:42Speaker 5: Dodgers having a lot of dinosaurs.
- 16:44Speaker 4: Now, you can take it however way you want. I
- 16:47Speaker 4: took it as they called you old.
- 16:49Speaker 5: Do you believe in the new rivalry of the Dodgers-Padres?
- 16:54Speaker 2: And when you hear an owner say that, what's your takeaway?
- 16:56Speaker 7: Okay.
- 16:58Speaker 2: I mean, I kind of think it's probably good for baseball.
- 17:00Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 17:00Speaker 1: It's like wrestling. Like you kind of have to have
- 17:02Speaker 1: like a good and a bad. And I think they
- 17:04Speaker 1: know what they're doing. It's like you got to add
- 17:06Speaker 1: to the it's good for baseball.
- 17:08Speaker 2: I don't really take it personally. I don't think maybe
- 17:11Speaker 2: some people do.
- 17:12Speaker 9: But I don't know.
- 17:14Speaker 2: I guess I could give like a better answer. Yeah,
- 17:16Speaker 2: I'm angry. But I think it's I don't know. I
- 17:18Speaker 2: think it's like strategic. It's just it's probably good for business.
- 17:22Speaker 3: Well, they're going for their first World Series title ever.
- 17:25Speaker 4: You guys are going for three straight.
- 17:27Speaker 3: Tyler Glasnow, we appreciate you so much for coming on
- 17:30Speaker 3: Dodgers territory.
- 17:30Speaker 4: Best of luck.
- 17:31Speaker 3: Enjoy the watch parties. We look forward to when you
- 17:34Speaker 3: guys get into action on Saturday. Thanks for being here, man.
- 17:36Speaker 3: We appreciate you.
- 17:38Speaker 2: Yeah, appreciate it, guys. Thank you.
- 17:43Speaker 3: It is time now to tow the rubber. We are
- 17:45Speaker 3: always happy to have our co-host of Brewer Territory on
- 17:49Speaker 3: the show, J.P. Feierheisen, co-host of Brew Crew Territory with
- 17:53Speaker 3: Kurt Hogue and Corey Knabel.
- 17:55Speaker 4: Good to be with you, J.P. Thanks for being here.
- 17:57Speaker 3: I just want, first of all, your take on this
- 18:00Speaker 3: Brewers Club that had a record-setting amount of wins this season.
- 18:04Speaker 4: What do you like about this group of guys?
- 18:08Speaker 8: This group of guys is young, fiery.
- 18:10Speaker 9: They have, obviously.
- 18:12Speaker 8: a great leader in Yelich and getting that, that C
- 18:16Speaker 8: finally put on his chest and awesome to see for him. And,
- 18:19Speaker 8: but I mean, the starting staff, the two guys right
- 18:23Speaker 8: off the gate, Miz and Hendo, I mean, just unbelievable
- 18:27Speaker 8: stuff from them this year and the consistency between both
- 18:30Speaker 8: of them. And then this bullpen has been great all year.
- 18:33Speaker 8: They've been workhorses like every brewer bullpen always has been
- 18:37Speaker 8: right from the beginning since I played with them and, and, and,
- 18:43Speaker 8: This bullpen's been busy the whole entire year, but they've
- 18:47Speaker 8: held it down. So I'm excited to see them in
- 18:49Speaker 8: postseason baseball. And obviously with the lineup, these guys, they
- 18:54Speaker 8: play hard. They play unbelievable defense. And they get hits
- 18:58Speaker 8: when they need them and late in the game. So
- 19:02Speaker 8: for postseason baseball, this team's built. I'm excited for these
- 19:06Speaker 8: games coming up. Hi, JP.
- 19:09Speaker 7: Welcome to 2026 because, one, your mustache is back in 2018.
- 19:15Speaker 7: And your take is 2018, 2019, 2020, 21, 22. It's
- 19:23Speaker 7: the same take that we hear before game one of
- 19:27Speaker 7: every series. So we wouldn't have had you on to
- 19:30Speaker 7: regurgitate the exact same thing that's said. It's just different
- 19:33Speaker 7: names like Corbin Burns and Brandon Woodruff. So why is
- 19:38Speaker 7: this team different, you Wisconsin cheese curd?
- 19:42Speaker 9: They got flow, Kratzy.
- 19:44Speaker 8: This team's young. I mean, yeah, your your pitching has
- 19:48Speaker 8: always been there with milwaukee but look at this lineup
- 19:50Speaker 8: look at the guys that they've signed already for extensions
- 19:53Speaker 8: right like i mean um churio in the outfield pratt
- 19:57Speaker 8: i mean all these guys that they've already got extended
- 20:00Speaker 8: out and ready to go i mean the only guy
- 20:02Speaker 8: that we've been calling for on brew terry to get
- 20:04Speaker 8: an extension is bryce we need to we need BT
- 20:07Speaker 8: locked up for an extension, but no, this team is just,
- 20:12Speaker 8: I mean, yeah, you can look at numbers that they don't,
- 20:15Speaker 8: they're not home run wealthy, right? They don't, they don't
- 20:17Speaker 8: hit a lot of home runs, but they, they get
- 20:19Speaker 8: hits when they need to and they get on base and,
- 20:22Speaker 8: and they just play the great brand of baseball that
- 20:24Speaker 8: I love to watch. Like, I mean, the Homer game
- 20:27Speaker 8: is fun and everything and it's exciting, but this team
- 20:29Speaker 8: plays some of the best defense I've ever seen. And,
- 20:33Speaker 8: and so, That's why I think this team's different. That's
- 20:36Speaker 8: why I think this team's different.
- 20:38Speaker 9: All right, JP. Everybody knows about the Miz. Ain't nobody
- 20:41Speaker 9: going to beat the Miz. I mean, I hope you
- 20:43Speaker 9: remember that. I hope you're not that old. But anyway,
- 20:48Speaker 9: for me, talk a little bit about the other pitchers
- 20:52Speaker 9: that they have.
- 20:52Speaker 2: Everybody talks about Jacob Mizorowski.
- 20:54Speaker 9: Talk about how good they've been and the other two
- 20:57Speaker 9: or three that's going to go for this Milwaukee Brewer
- 20:59Speaker 9: team because I think they need.
- 21:00Speaker 2: To get a little love too.
- 21:02Speaker 8: Yeah, I mean, This entire staff, right? The guys that
- 21:06Speaker 8: you're going to see game three, game four, not sure
- 21:08Speaker 8: how they're going to run it starting wise, because you
- 21:11Speaker 8: never know the way after obviously one and two happen
- 21:16Speaker 8: because it's all hands on deck in the playoffs. Right. So,
- 21:19Speaker 8: but yeah, I mean, you're talking right here, this lineup
- 21:21Speaker 8: of starters, Gasser, DMA, Drohan, Harrison. I mean, obviously Harrison's
- 21:26Speaker 8: been kind of in a rough patch this end of
- 21:28Speaker 8: the year, but Um, Bob Gasser has been absolutely throwing
- 21:32Speaker 8: the best baseball I've seen from him all year. Um,
- 21:35Speaker 8: and then obviously getting DMA being, he's been in playoff baseball.
- 21:39Speaker 8: He knows what it's like, um, just that veteran in
- 21:41Speaker 8: the clubhouse. So, um, and then after those guys, I mean, uh,
- 21:46Speaker 8: I mean, Chad, Chad coming out of the pen, Shane
- 21:48Speaker 8: coming out of the pen, those guys have been dogs
- 21:50Speaker 8: out of the bullpen. They've been great when they've started. So,
- 21:53Speaker 8: I mean, and yeah, then you go to the bullpen,
- 21:54Speaker 8: you got, you literally can go down the list and
- 21:57Speaker 8: every one of these guys, um, is going to throw
- 22:00Speaker 8: some great innings in this playoffs. I mean, obviously with Uribe, McGill, JoJo, Ashby,
- 22:07Speaker 8: those guys are going to be your main guys in
- 22:09Speaker 8: the big situations. But to look for an extended innings
- 22:13Speaker 8: out of the bullpen, I mean, Shane and Chad, I
- 22:15Speaker 8: think are going to be your two guys that are
- 22:16Speaker 8: going to throw some two or three inning clips and
- 22:19Speaker 8: see them for a little extended time. But yeah, everyone
- 22:22Speaker 8: in this bullpen, I mean, even the guys that have
- 22:25Speaker 8: been coming up to fill innings all season long. Um, Sprout, they, they,
- 22:28Speaker 8: they deserve their flowers for this year because, uh, it
- 22:31Speaker 8: takes a lot to win 103 games and, um, this
- 22:34Speaker 8: pitching staff's done it all, all, all year. And, um,
- 22:37Speaker 8: you know, it's going to be fun to watch them
- 22:38Speaker 8: here coming up.
- 22:40Speaker 3: JP, every team has holes. Every team has flaws. What's
- 22:43Speaker 3: your biggest concern for the brew crew in this particular series,
- 22:47Speaker 3: the matchup with the Padres?
- 22:50Speaker 8: Uh, I, I, every team has flaws. This, this brewer team,
- 22:53Speaker 8: I think is going to be a score and runs.
- 22:55Speaker 8: I think And it's kind of shown like the Padres
- 22:58Speaker 8: are going to swing the bats. And I mean, they
- 23:00Speaker 8: always do, right? The guys that they're going to play
- 23:03Speaker 8: are going to get up for the moment. You see
- 23:05Speaker 8: them in the World Baseball Classic. They always play better
- 23:07Speaker 8: in big situations. The crowd gets behind them. So I'm
- 23:10Speaker 8: hoping our hitters are going to do the same. It's
- 23:13Speaker 8: going to be tough for them against this Padres bullpen
- 23:15Speaker 8: when they get later into the game. So I think
- 23:17Speaker 8: they need to jump on these starters early and put
- 23:19Speaker 8: some runs up so that they can put themselves in
- 23:21Speaker 8: the winning position so they can play the brand of
- 23:23Speaker 8: baseball they want to.
- 23:25Speaker 7: When you watch this team day in and day out,
- 23:27Speaker 7: obviously you already hit on it. They don't hit home runs.
- 23:30Speaker 7: I think they hit enough home runs. Churrio will pop one.
- 23:34Speaker 7: Yelly will get one. Here's my thing. Can they play?
- 23:37Speaker 7: Have they been able to play their game, the sense
- 23:40Speaker 7: of driving the ball to the opposite field, moving runners,
- 23:45Speaker 7: against the elite of the elite pitching? Because you know
- 23:47Speaker 7: as well as anybody in the playoffs, you ain't facing
- 23:50Speaker 7: number three, four, five in a rotation. You're not facing
- 23:53Speaker 7: number five, six, seven. in the bullpen? Are they able
- 23:57Speaker 7: to play their game against the best of the best,
- 24:00Speaker 7: which means stringing together two or three hits?
- 24:05Speaker 8: Yeah, I mean, that's a great question, but I think
- 24:07Speaker 8: if you look at numbers against this team, against some
- 24:10Speaker 8: of the best starters this year, I mean, I think
- 24:13Speaker 8: that they've been able to score runs against them consistently.
- 24:17Speaker 8: I mean, I know it hasn't been back-to-back-to-back days like
- 24:19Speaker 8: they're going to get with some of these teams and
- 24:21Speaker 8: their starting staffs, but No, this team is built to
- 24:25Speaker 8: get guys on base and create havoc. I mean, that's
- 24:28Speaker 8: what they do. They bunt for singles. They hit and run.
- 24:32Speaker 8: They play the game and they do string hits together
- 24:35Speaker 8: and walks. I mean, they have great plate discipline. That's,
- 24:37Speaker 8: that's the one thing about this team is they don't,
- 24:39Speaker 8: they don't chase a lot. They're not out of the
- 24:41Speaker 8: zone and the guys that do, they have a little pop.
- 24:43Speaker 8: So I'm a lot, you know, that's the, that's the thing, right?
- 24:45Speaker 8: If you have a little pop, you can chase a
- 24:47Speaker 8: little bit more. So, but this team, this team puts
- 24:50Speaker 8: good ABs together consistently. So I think they're, I think
- 24:53Speaker 8: they're built for this playoffs. They're, they're in a great spot.
- 24:56Speaker 8: They've been playing great baseball. I mean, that last series
- 25:00Speaker 8: against St. Louis, they could have let one slip there
- 25:02Speaker 8: and they just kept rolling. So, I'm excited to see, hopefully,
- 25:05Speaker 8: they stay out for this playoffs.
- 25:07Speaker 5: Okay.
- 25:08Speaker 9: Again, Meseroski, the staff, everybody on this team has done well. Churio,
- 25:14Speaker 9: give me a name that's going to come up absolutely
- 25:16Speaker 9: monstrous in one of these games where they had no
- 25:19Speaker 9: business winning and this is the guy that either kickstarts
- 25:22Speaker 9: it or it just gets absolutely hot where you're like, man,
- 25:26Speaker 9: this is what either we've been waiting for all year
- 25:28Speaker 9: or this is that dude that we've been talking about.
- 25:30Speaker 9: Who's going to come up in a big situation and
- 25:32Speaker 9: make it happen?
- 25:34Speaker 8: I said this on, on brew Terry too. And I'm,
- 25:36Speaker 8: I'm hoping that he does it as Cooper Pratt. He's
- 25:39Speaker 8: going to be in the, in the spotlight, right? He's
- 25:41Speaker 8: going to be shortstop playing. He's got to play big defense,
- 25:45Speaker 8: but he's a, he's not going to hit your big
- 25:47Speaker 8: home or anything like that, but I think he's going
- 25:49Speaker 8: to come up in some ABs with guys on base and,
- 25:52Speaker 8: and get that big hit or get that big walk
- 25:54Speaker 8: or that big AB that's, you know, just springs this
- 25:56Speaker 8: team and, and just lights them on fire for this,
- 25:59Speaker 8: for this series and the playoffs to, to keep going.
- 26:02Speaker 3: JP, Christian Jelic named captain for the first time ever
- 26:06Speaker 3: for the Brewers as far as a franchise is concerned.
- 26:08Speaker 4: What makes Jelic captain material?
- 26:12Speaker 8: I mean, just the guy he is. I mean, Kratz,
- 26:13Speaker 8: he's played with him. I think everybody knows him around
- 26:16Speaker 8: the league.
- 26:17Speaker 4: Kratz has played with everybody, JP. He's played for all
- 26:19Speaker 4: of them.
- 26:20Speaker 8: That's true.
- 26:21Speaker 7: You're right.
- 26:21Speaker 8: Kratz has played with everybody. That's true. But no, I mean,
- 26:24Speaker 8: the type of guy he is, the person he is
- 26:27Speaker 8: in the clubhouse, just the way you know he's put
- 26:31Speaker 8: it on the field yeah his this year hasn't been
- 26:33Speaker 8: like his best year but um he's just the Mr.
- 26:36Speaker 8: Consistency and you know when you think of Brewer baseball
- 26:40Speaker 8: in the past you know however many years uh seven
- 26:43Speaker 8: eight years I don't even know how long you know
- 26:45Speaker 8: he's been with them even longer than that actually probably
- 26:49Speaker 8: but um he's just yeah he's that guy that uh
- 26:53Speaker 8: you just it's, it's awesome to see him get to
- 26:55Speaker 8: see because he deserves it. And I don't think, I mean, he's,
- 26:59Speaker 8: he's going to have his number hanging in a banner,
- 27:00Speaker 8: but people said, and I've heard this already around Wisconsin.
- 27:04Speaker 8: If the Brewers win a world series and Yelly does
- 27:07Speaker 8: something special, we got to build a statue. That's what,
- 27:09Speaker 8: that's all Brewer fans are saying in Wisconsin right now.
- 27:11Speaker 8: And I'm like, you know what, if he gets hot
- 27:14Speaker 8: and does something, put them right next to you because
- 27:16Speaker 8: those two are good buddies at the end of Euchre's life.
- 27:19Speaker 8: So it would be pretty cool.
- 27:23Speaker 7: He's definitely a historic figure in this organization. And 2018
- 27:27Speaker 7: was his first year. So he's been here that whole run.
- 27:31Speaker 7: My question to you, this may get some of our
- 27:34Speaker 7: Brewer fans to cancel their love for me. Is Murph,
- 27:40Speaker 7: is Pat Murphy okay pinch hitting for Christian Yelich in
- 27:43Speaker 7: a spot if Yelich comes out in the playoffs and
- 27:47Speaker 7: isn't his what the... lore of a statue bearing player
- 27:53Speaker 7: is because if you look at his postseason numbers they
- 27:57Speaker 7: haven't been that great is Murph okay with that because
- 28:00Speaker 7: we saw during the season Yelly didn't play in all
- 28:03Speaker 7: the matchups he wasn't a 162 guy is he willing
- 28:06Speaker 7: to do that during the postseason.
- 28:09Speaker 8: Uh I think I think Murph's the guy that you
- 28:11Speaker 8: want managing this team if someone's got to take the
- 28:14Speaker 8: bat out of Yelly's hand in a big situation I
- 28:16Speaker 8: think that uh And Yelly and him have a great
- 28:19Speaker 8: understanding with each other. Obviously, the two of them as
- 28:23Speaker 8: leaders of this team. And yeah, no, I think Murph's
- 28:26Speaker 8: going to have no problem. If Yellich isn't in the
- 28:28Speaker 8: lineup every day, I think Yelly's going to know that,
- 28:31Speaker 8: you know, Murph made it for a right reason. And
- 28:34Speaker 8: maybe it'll be the next time, you know, maybe Murph
- 28:37Speaker 8: will say, we'll put the bat in your hand next time.
- 28:39Speaker 8: So I don't think there's going to be any issue
- 28:41Speaker 8: with these two with that going forward. I think that
- 28:44Speaker 8: Yelly's going to do whatever it takes to win for
- 28:46Speaker 8: this team.
- 28:48Speaker 9: I want to I want to talk about this Dodger team, too.
- 28:51Speaker 9: I know I'm looking ahead here a little bit, but
- 28:54Speaker 9: is there is there any thought right now? You know,
- 28:57Speaker 9: could be Dodgers Milwaukee like there's a big opportunity for
- 29:01Speaker 9: this Brewers team. Like, can you talk a little bit
- 29:03Speaker 9: about maybe what to look forward to if they happen
- 29:07Speaker 9: to win? Because this team is both these teams are
- 29:09Speaker 9: the teams that are a favorite pretty much to move on.
- 29:13Speaker 8: Yeah, I mean, it's the Dodgers, right? They've got everybody.
- 29:16Speaker 8: They have their lineup stacked. They have their starting staff stacked.
- 29:19Speaker 8: They got their bullpen stacked. They're ready for the playoffs.
- 29:22Speaker 8: That's what this team does. They play, you know, 162
- 29:26Speaker 8: games of, you know, like 40% of their team. And
- 29:29Speaker 8: then once playoffs come around, they, you know, get up
- 29:32Speaker 8: to 80 to 100%, depending on who's healthy and actually
- 29:34Speaker 8: has season-ending injuries. So looking forward to that. Yeah, we've
- 29:38Speaker 8: been talking about it all year. facing them again hoping
- 29:41Speaker 8: it's obviously to go to the World Series and I
- 29:45Speaker 8: mean yeah it's it's tough seven game series against a
- 29:49Speaker 8: team that's built literally to win postseason baseball but if
- 29:54Speaker 8: there's any team that's going to do it, I think
- 29:56Speaker 8: the Brewers have played the Dodgers really well in, in
- 29:59Speaker 8: the regular season. I know it's not their full team,
- 30:02Speaker 8: but I mean, with Miz and Hendo, I think that's
- 30:06Speaker 8: win one, win two. And then you go from there
- 30:08Speaker 8: and then you go, when those guys come back around
- 30:10Speaker 8: and you win two more and that's all you need
- 30:12Speaker 8: in a seven game series is four. So I'm, uh, for,
- 30:14Speaker 8: for a starting wise, I think I'm not afraid of
- 30:17Speaker 8: them with the, with this team that the Brewers have
- 30:18Speaker 8: put forward. These guys, uh, They're built for this moment.
- 30:22Speaker 8: They like the big situation. They've seen them in the past.
- 30:25Speaker 8: They know what they're up against. I don't think Murph
- 30:28Speaker 8: said it before. I don't think anyone's calling this team
- 30:31Speaker 8: underdogs when it comes to that series. I think it's
- 30:33Speaker 8: an even match. Maybe the money on one side is
- 30:36Speaker 8: a lot greater than the other, but this Brewer team
- 30:39Speaker 8: has won 103 games this year and they've played great baseball.
- 30:43Speaker 8: I'm hoping that we get to that series because it's
- 30:45Speaker 8: going to be David versus Goliath, but I think David's
- 30:49Speaker 8: got just as big a swing as Goliath does.
- 30:51Speaker 5: All right.
- 30:53Speaker 7: So I have to preface this before I ask my question.
- 30:57Speaker 7: You grew up in Wisconsin. You live in Wisconsin. You
- 30:59Speaker 7: ended up playing for the Brewers. Your first shot in
- 31:02Speaker 7: the big leagues was with the Brewers. And then you
- 31:06Speaker 7: went over to the Dodgers. What is the difference in
- 31:09Speaker 7: both of those organizations? Clearly both. There's no doubt in
- 31:15Speaker 7: my mind– playing for the Brewers and watching the Dodgers
- 31:19Speaker 7: that they both want to play in the playoffs and
- 31:21Speaker 7: win a world series every year. But what, how do
- 31:23Speaker 7: you see them do each of them differently? Good or bad?
- 31:29Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 31:29Speaker 8: I mean, I think that the Brewers have to obviously
- 31:32Speaker 8: develop guys, right. They gotta, they gotta get their guys
- 31:35Speaker 8: from trades. They have to win trades to get certain
- 31:38Speaker 8: guys and they have to make good draft picks and
- 31:41Speaker 8: maybe sign the right pieces with a little bit less
- 31:43Speaker 8: money for agent wise, where, as LA, if, if they
- 31:47Speaker 8: want somebody, they pretty much go and get them. But
- 31:51Speaker 8: as far as it works though, like in the, in
- 31:53Speaker 8: the clubhouse and through the spring training process and everything,
- 31:57Speaker 8: everyone goes about their business very similar. As far as it's, it's,
- 32:02Speaker 8: this is a job and we're on a mission, literally
- 32:05Speaker 8: world series or bust. And that's the thought for both
- 32:08Speaker 8: these teams, I think, especially these past couple of years, right?
- 32:12Speaker 8: I mean, both these teams have been, two of the
- 32:14Speaker 8: best teams in baseball, obviously the Dodgers being back-to-back world
- 32:17Speaker 8: series champions, but with the brewers being so consistent winning
- 32:22Speaker 8: the NL central for four straight years now it's, I mean,
- 32:25Speaker 8: they're both the dominant, the cream of the crop and
- 32:28Speaker 8: the way they go about their businesses is this is
- 32:31Speaker 8: work and this is a job and we're here to
- 32:33Speaker 8: complete a mission. So that's, they both work that way
- 32:37Speaker 8: and they both, they both treat their players phenomenally too.
- 32:40Speaker 8: That's another good thing is you just, When you're in there,
- 32:44Speaker 8: you feel like you matter and you feel like you're
- 32:46Speaker 8: a part of everything. So, no, great organizations, and that's
- 32:49Speaker 8: why they expect to be there, right? They built for this,
- 32:53Speaker 8: and whether they've gotten there with money or building from
- 32:56Speaker 8: the ground up, they're both there, and they're going to
- 32:59Speaker 8: be there for quite some time, I think.
- 33:02Speaker 7: JP, last one from me. Did you see Sean Burke's
- 33:05Speaker 7: comments about he doesn't have family, a girlfriend, all he
- 33:08Speaker 7: does is baseball? Did you see those comments?
- 33:11Speaker 8: I did see those comments.
- 33:13Speaker 7: Okay. And so my question to you then is, does
- 33:17Speaker 7: Jana know that you're coming on foul territory and she
- 33:20Speaker 7: gets to see her number one and number two favorite
- 33:25Speaker 7: professional baseball players of all time on the same screen?
- 33:28Speaker 7: Does Jana know? And if she does know, or she's
- 33:31Speaker 7: watching this later, Jana, good to see you.
- 33:35Speaker 8: It's great because when she comes on Brewer Territory or
- 33:39Speaker 8: comments live, Corey Kniebel's daughters knew her as Jana Banana.
- 33:43Speaker 8: So as soon as she came on and commented, Corey goes,
- 33:47Speaker 8: Jana Banana. And so now she loves it. That'll make
- 33:51Speaker 8: her smile and that'll make her really happy, Grancy. So
- 33:54Speaker 8: I appreciate that.
- 33:55Speaker 4: Oh, that's awesome. All right.
- 33:56Speaker 3: Wisconsin guy. I lived in Madison for three years. So
- 33:59Speaker 3: if you're going to Door County or the Dells or whatever,
- 34:01Speaker 3: are you doing fried Twinkie, fried Snickers or cheese curds?
- 34:06Speaker 8: Oh, cheese curds. Come on. That's not even close.
- 34:10Speaker 3: They fry everything in Door County.
- 34:13Speaker 4: They fry everything in the Dells.
- 34:15Speaker 8: Yeah, you can literally go to any fair in Wisconsin
- 34:18Speaker 8: and whatever you think you're going to get fried, it'll
- 34:20Speaker 8: be there. So no, that is a Wisconsin classic for sure.
- 34:25Speaker 3: All right, JP FireEyes, and we appreciate you very much.
- 34:27Speaker 3: Good luck to your brew crew the rest of this
- 34:29Speaker 3: postseason run. And guys, don't forget, you can watch JP
- 34:32Speaker 3: and the rest of the Brewer Territory crew on YouTube
- 34:36Speaker 3: wherever you get your pods.
