  It's been an awful year. Some people did.

  problem with it. They've watched putrid football,

  they sat in awful conditions and yes, if they want to celebrate.

  I mean, yes, it's fun watching Wisconsin fall to these levels

  after what we've seen for the last three decades.

  miserable people out there that just can't find any enjoyment,

  Then he turns around and talks about how great Vanderbilt was

  for beating Auburn, who fired their coach.

  The look, I have no Indiana Homer by any means, but the crap

  that they took a year ago, it wasn't just that they were

  winning games. This was not 2015 Iowa that's
• 2:55
  played an easy schedule in skating pie.

  They were kicking the crap out of teams week in and week out

  and the negativity that surrounded him just because it

  was Indiana and it still continues today.

  If you look at Indiana, you think that's not a good football

  team. I I don't know what to tell you.

  You went into still a difficult environment and a team that

  still has plenty of talent on it and you found a way to win a
• 3:16
  football game. And yet there's some people
• 3:18
  South of the Mason Dixon line that want to make it out to be

  yet another demerit against the Hoosiers.

  I can't understand. Yeah, a lot of people, I mean,

  A&M to be #2 tomorrow when the rankings come out.

  Babbie, your thoughts on the Big 10 this past weekend?

  Yeah, well, first of all, if you're listening to Fine Bomb,

  you're basically wasting time. I mean, he is the master of

  playing both sides against the middle.

  He's an SCC Homer. He started out in radio down
• 3:45
  here in Birmingham. I just, you know, on a single

  station and he kind of went syndicated and then, you know,

  he's morphed into whatever he is now.

  So but that I mean, that game was just incredible that last

  drive. And I understand Alabama had, I

  wonder if you brought up Alabama getting, you know, the same

  thing. You know, if he gave Alabama a

  lot of credit for pulling that out against South Carolina
• 4:10
  situation, right? I mean, you're down, you've got

  to you got to engineer an 80 yard drive and what do you, you

  know, field goal not going to do any good.

  Got to score a touchdown and that throat.

  The catch was better than this. I mean, the catch was just

  incredible. Now, you give Mendoza credit for

  putting it where only his guy could catch it.

  And I still don't know how his guy caught it.

  But look, I could. I don't have any problem with

  Indiana being #2 I wouldn't have a problem with A&M being #2

  although we get to A&M probably a little bit later as we go

  along. But I give Indiana a lot of

  credit for that. We see it, you know, a lot that
• 4:47
  that's what the SEC people like to do, all the depth of the
• 4:50
  conference. Well, as you mentioned, Penn
• 4:51
  State, good team. Yeah, they fired their coach,
• 4:54
  but they got a little they they do have a lot of talent, right?
• 4:57
  Is Indiana clearly far and away better than any team in the
• 5:00
  country? No, But they're certainly
• 5:03
  indicative of that number 2 ranking, particularly the way
• 5:06
  the quarterback is playing. And he's he's probably the
• 5:09
  Heisman favorite right now. It should be after this past
• 5:12
  weekend. But Simpson, you know the Rep.

  Yeah, the rest of it, you know what I don't have a problem

  with? Who cares what Wisconsin does?

  You're right, a lot of bad football.

  That was a bad loss for Washington, though, because they

  were still right in the middle of it.

  And I think that probably takes them out now.

  Win a game on their own, right, and then Iowa, two losses,

  Iowa, they're sitting there at what, 8 and one right now?

  They're Indiana, essentially. They may not be #2 but they're

  going to be in that. They're silent.

  They're in playoff. Absolutely.

  The thing I didn't understand about that game is and it's just

  football in general, right? That's a rock fight for about

  what, 55 minutes? And then all of a sudden here

  comes Iowa down the field. I mean, what what do these

  coaches do that all of a sudden when they need to drive, they

  can score? I don't I don't under.

  Is it is it the defense playing soft?

  Is it the all of a sudden you're playing to win and not to lose?

  I don't know what it was, but Iowa goes down and score and

  then Oregon goes, you know, answers it right back.

  But just a hell of a game. It looked miserable.

  conference is big USC fans this week.

  USC needs to beat Iowa, I think, and if they do that, they're

  probably going to be in as a fourth Big 10 team.

  Big 12 is it just as simple as is Utah the only team that can

  I think, look, they're, they're clearly to me the best team.

  BYU, I thought was, I said two weeks ago that, you know, I

  didn't think they should, they should have been, even though

  they're undefeated. I wanted to see them, you know,

  outside the top 12 or barely in it.

  And what do they do? They put them at 7 or whatever

  it was and they're going to fall out now.

  And they should. That was just, that was a

  thorough win. I mean, there was just no other

  way about it, just a dominating win by Texas Tech BYU was never

  in the game, never under threat. Anything else from some Tech.

  But I, I mean, I picked Arizona State at the beginning of the

  year. That's not going to happen.

  They're clearly, and I've said it a couple weeks, I think best

  team in the Big 12, a team that nobody's going to want to see.

  And that bracket I think they have to be in.

  I don't care if they get in and lose a conference championship

  game. I think with the ACC being such

  a flipping mess right now, I think the I think the Big 12, if
• 10:22
  Texas Tech gets into the championship game and loses,

  they should go no matter what in a close time.

  In a close, I don't even know. I mean, I mean, what's the

  alternative, right? Another, like you said, another

  nine and three SEC team, a fifth big 10 team that might not
• 10:41
  deserve it. I mean, it's the same thing

  again in basketball. You know, we're going to give a

  mid major chance or we're going to give a, you know, a 11th bid

  to an ACC team. I mean, I think Texas Tech to me

  has done enough to show when healthy, when fully functional,

  that they can compete with anybody.

  And so I think they they're, I'll tell you this way, they're

  more deserving than last year's SMU team.

  If they lose the Big 12 championship game and we put SMU

  in last year, I think everybody said, well, you know, they lost

  the game, blah, blah, blah. OK, I just, I think they're more

  deserving. I, I think they're for real.

  You look at them, they pass the eye test, they're getting done

  on the field. I think if now you go lose to

  West Virginia last game of the year and lose Big 12, different

  conversation. But if they finish at you know

  what, 11 and one and drop a close game again, doesn't have

  to if it's a blowout, maybe, but if it's a, you know, one score

  whatever game to Utah, I think they're in clearly the best team

  in that conference in my opinion.

  To the SEC, Trent Condon, Pavia had a good day throwing this

  football again, 3 touchdowns, just under 400 yards.

  I don't think it's enough. I think his Heisman chances are

  certainly diminished over the last couple of weeks.

  Auburn, I know he took the six and a how do you get to overtime

  getting 6 1/2 and loose? You're Trent Condon, and that's

  the way betting the last three weeks, it has been just

  absolutely brutal. That one was tough.

  the bottom half of that conference.

  Their wins Missouri, LSU, Florida, Kentucky, Mississippi

  State, Auburn, Arkansas. Look who's coming to town this

  week, South Carolina. Literally the bottom of that

  conference is who they've beaten.

  They have not played anybody. Alabama, Georgia, Ole Miss,

  Texas, Bandy, Oklahoma, Tennessee at the top, they

  haven't played anybody. Now all they're going to have to

  play is Texas at the end of the year.

  So I'm withholding judgment a little bit.

  They're doing what they need to do.

  They're doing it impressively. They were more impressive over

  LSU than Alabama was this past week.

  They beat Missouri by a bigger margin in Columbia.

  out of them before I'm willing to throw them up above Indiana

  Alabama still can't run the football and that's a problem.

  LSU was putrid on offense. They came out, they had a good

  penalties, all this kind of stuff coming out of the five.

  Worked on the running game over the week, over the bye week,

  didn't show it. That's their Achilles heel.

  They can't run it. Eventually teams will fit good

  defenses like LSU has. Well, then they got an elite

  secondary and figure out how to shut down that passing attack.

  So I got to ask you about Josh Jacobs, and I'd always been

  dealing with a calf injury. He is a big, big part of what

  they're doing. Have they maybe used him a

  little bit more than they wanted to this point, knowing he's kind

  of had that nagging injury throughout the course of this

  one? Because ultimately it's not

  about what he does in September and October, November, December,

  What can you tell us about him and that running game as a whole

  nastier up front and we haven't seen it yet.

  They have really struggled the run block.

  It's one of the worst run block in the league, which this is,

  you know, against everything you would think Green Bay wanted

  when they put this line together.

  So I don't know if it's the chemistry thing.

  I know Banks hasn't been able to stay healthy.

  That might have been a misguided decision.

  It's been a real disappointment watching this unit game in and

  Tampa Bay. It's going to be a fascinating

  game here tonight. When you look at this Eagle

  group, what worries you as far as what's a matchup problem that

  favors the Eagles tonight? Well, I think there's several of

  them. I think what I'll be really

  watching is just the red zone, because Philly's the best red

  zone offense in football. Packers are lower third

  defensively. They've only allowed three

  touchdowns in the red zone all year.

  The Eagles defense, Packers were one for five in the red zone

  last week and they've been really, I think 50% the last

  three weeks. They've really struggled in the

  red area. So I think that's where the

  struggle for Green Bay tonight is.

  Have you figured out how to be more effective in the zone and

  can they stop a really good Eagles offense once they get
