- 0:00Speaker 1: Scrubbing in with Beca Tilly and Tanya rad and iHeartRadio
- 0:04Speaker 1: and two time People's Choice Award winning podcast.
- 0:11Speaker 2: Hello everybody, we are scrubbing in. I don't know if
- 0:15Speaker 2: you could tell, but that is not Tanya. We have
- 0:18Speaker 2: a special guest filling in for Tanya as my co
- 0:21Speaker 2: host today, we.
- 0:22Speaker 3: Have Susie Evan.
- 0:25Speaker 1: I'm glad to be here.
- 0:27Speaker 3: Thank you for joining.
- 0:28Speaker 2: I was like, I knew Tanya was going out of town,
- 0:31Speaker 2: and I thought, who would I want to chat with
- 0:34Speaker 2: for around forty minutes? And flattered, I know, And I
- 0:39Speaker 2: also was like, I don't know, really, your freedom of
- 0:41Speaker 2: being able to chat right now, right now? Yeah? So
- 0:44Speaker 2: I reached out with fingers crossed and it worked out.
- 0:47Speaker 2: So I'm so happy you're here.
- 0:48Speaker 1: Me too, I know. My manager was like, do we
- 0:52Speaker 1: need to get this approved? We should we just do it?
- 0:54Speaker 1: I was like, I feel like we should.
- 0:56Speaker 4: Like I'm such a rule follower again, It's like we
- 0:58Speaker 4: should do we should just find out And then they
- 1:00Speaker 4: were like.
- 1:00Speaker 1: Yeah, of course. I was like, great, Okay, let's do it.
- 1:03Speaker 2: They're pretty strict with their rules, yeah they be.
- 1:06Speaker 1: I'm just so scared of like getting sued every day.
- 1:09Speaker 2: I know, Yeah, I was. I really lived with a
- 1:12Speaker 2: lot that fear for a long time. Literally, I would
- 1:14Speaker 2: say five years in I was still scared they were
- 1:16Speaker 2: gonna sneak. Did I do anything?
- 1:20Speaker 3: I don't think so, I know.
- 1:21Speaker 1: I feel like I constantly feel guilty.
- 1:23Speaker 4: I'm like, can they like go back through my posts
- 1:26Speaker 4: in every interview for the past five years and search
- 1:28Speaker 4: for something?
- 1:29Speaker 2: I don't know?
- 1:29Speaker 3: Maybe, how are you doing?
- 1:31Speaker 2: You've had a whirlwind.
- 1:32Speaker 1: I've had a whirlwind. I'm fine now.
- 1:35Speaker 4: I wasn't fine for a little bit, but I'm like
- 1:38Speaker 4: totally fine.
- 1:39Speaker 1: Now what was it?
- 1:41Speaker 2: Was it just the anxiety because I was watching your
- 1:43Speaker 2: Instagram stories and it was like friends and it was
- 1:47Speaker 2: just like dark dark time. But I was thinking, I
- 1:53Speaker 2: remember that feeling of And I don't know that anyone
- 1:56Speaker 2: can understand unless you have had a specific like reality
- 2:00Speaker 2: TV experience, right, specifically a dating reality TV experience. Yes,
- 2:05Speaker 2: so real, because you are not in control over what
- 2:10Speaker 2: they show in terms of what what scenes or conversations
- 2:15Speaker 2: you had or clips that you where you said certain things.
- 2:19Speaker 2: So you're just really hoping for the best for the best.
- 2:24Speaker 4: Yeah, and I will say I've had both times the
- 2:28Speaker 4: show aired I was. I was super anxious about it,
- 2:32Speaker 4: and this time, I would say even more so than
- 2:35Speaker 4: the first time, even though I would say the first
- 2:37Speaker 4: time there was way more room for like chopping things
- 2:40Speaker 4: up and like making me look a certain way, and
- 2:42Speaker 4: I was just kind of like, well, we'll see what happens.
- 2:46Speaker 1: But it was still anxious, but.
- 2:47Speaker 4: This time it was literally I was there for twenty
- 2:49Speaker 4: four hours, and the anxiety I felt from leaving until
- 2:53Speaker 4: it airing like I have not been this anxious since
- 2:57Speaker 4: I literally gone anxiety medication in twenty eight when I
- 3:00Speaker 4: thought I would, like I literally convinced myself that I
- 3:03Speaker 4: was dying. No I know, and and that was like
- 3:06Speaker 4: like staying up late like panic attacks like that was
- 3:09Speaker 4: like my pre bachelor era, and literally my life got
- 3:13Speaker 4: so much better. I like went to therapy, you know,
- 3:16Speaker 4: dealt with anxiety, and I'm like, I'm I'm a champ
- 3:18Speaker 4: at this, Like I have the tools and my toolkit.
- 3:21Speaker 1: No I didn't. I didn't have the tools.
- 3:23Speaker 4: So it was like, really, I don't know why this
- 3:26Speaker 4: time in particular, it was so there was so much
- 3:28Speaker 4: anxiety about it for me.
- 3:30Speaker 2: I also think there's something about being naive going into
- 3:36Speaker 2: a situation, and you literally kind of said, like, we'll
- 3:39Speaker 2: see what happens. And it's kind of a care free
- 3:42Speaker 2: attitude because you really don't know what to expect. You
- 3:44Speaker 2: don't know till you know. Yeah, And so this time
- 3:46Speaker 2: you knew there was like a very big storyline I
- 3:52Speaker 2: know going in that you knew really right.
- 3:55Speaker 4: Yeah, I didn't think it would be This is where
- 3:57Speaker 4: I was naive going in.
- 3:59Speaker 1: I didn't think it would be that big of a deal.
- 4:01Speaker 4: Like I knew there was gonna be a little bit
- 4:03Speaker 4: of like ex drama whatever. But me and Justin were
- 4:07Speaker 4: so like before we went, we were like in no contact,
- 4:11Speaker 4: and then we both knew that the other one was
- 4:12Speaker 4: probably gonna gok. We reached out right before the show.
- 4:15Speaker 4: We had a conversation, what's you know, fair to talk about?
- 4:19Speaker 4: What's not fair to talk about? There's so much love
- 4:20Speaker 4: there that we were like, we don't want to hurt
- 4:23Speaker 4: the other person, Like we don't want to like air
- 4:25Speaker 4: out and nobody wants their dirty laundry eared out, Like
- 4:27Speaker 4: nobody wants to like talk about, you know, the things
- 4:31Speaker 4: that didn't work in a relationship. So we were just like,
- 4:32Speaker 4: let's just like protect each other, go have fun. It's
- 4:36Speaker 4: like kind of I mean, for most people, once in
- 4:38Speaker 4: a lifetime experience and it's like just so fun.
- 4:42Speaker 1: I did not think it would like blow up the
- 4:44Speaker 1: way that it did.
- 4:45Speaker 4: I just was like, yeah, whatever, Like again, it was
- 4:49Speaker 4: naive to think, I guess, but I was like.
- 4:51Speaker 1: Yes, it's fun.
- 4:52Speaker 2: You were pretty emotional, like right off the bat that
- 4:54Speaker 2: we saw, I guess in the conversation with him, And
- 4:59Speaker 2: were you shocked by that or did you know that
- 5:01Speaker 2: it was going to be emotional coming in and being
- 5:03Speaker 2: in like a dating environment with him.
- 5:05Speaker 4: I think, well, okay, So I mentioned this on a
- 5:08Speaker 4: different podcast as well, nixt podcast. I feel like this
- 5:13Speaker 4: is kind of where it is like up to the
- 5:15Speaker 4: discretion of the show to show what they want. Like
- 5:18Speaker 4: I I feel like it looks like I was just
- 5:21Speaker 4: like so sad and I was like, oh, like this
- 5:24Speaker 4: is really hard, but like I feel like I showed
- 5:26Speaker 4: up and I was like.
- 5:27Speaker 1: Last actually, it's like I was so ready to have
- 5:30Speaker 1: fun and then everybody was like, you know what, it's
- 5:33Speaker 1: actually been such a long day and like we're just tired,
- 5:36Speaker 1: and I was like wait, I was like I just
- 5:38Speaker 1: got here.
- 5:39Speaker 4: Like everyone's tired, everyone's going to bed. I was like,
- 5:42Speaker 4: people are out on a date, and like people are
- 5:44Speaker 4: bummed because their guys got taken on dates. And I
- 5:46Speaker 4: was like, nobody wants to like have fun right now.
- 5:48Speaker 4: Everyone's like waiting to get told that we can.
- 5:50Speaker 1: Go to bed.
- 5:51Speaker 4: And I was literally, by the way, I got picked
- 5:54Speaker 4: up from my hotel at nine thirty pm, Oh dang, yeah,
- 5:56Speaker 4: And so I don't know what time I arrived there,
- 5:59Speaker 4: and but I just know everyone was tired, and I
- 6:02Speaker 4: was like, what the heck.
- 6:03Speaker 1: I was like, I want to play, like I literally
- 6:06Speaker 1: want to like come have fun.
- 6:07Speaker 4: And I was like I came in on such a buzzkill,
- 6:11Speaker 4: and I think I realized very quickly. I was like, okay,
- 6:14Speaker 4: there's like three dudes here like that, because two of
- 6:16Speaker 4: the guys were out on a date, and so I
- 6:18Speaker 4: was like, okay, there's literally Dale, my ex, my ex's
- 6:21Speaker 4: friend Jonathan, which he's my friend too, but like you.
- 6:24Speaker 3: Know, off limits.
- 6:26Speaker 1: And then who.
- 6:27Speaker 4: Else was Oh Spencer, And I was like Spencer very
- 6:30Speaker 4: obviously like locked in. I felt like dam I felt
- 6:34Speaker 4: like locked in. I was like, he's not even look
- 6:36Speaker 4: in my direction.
- 6:37Speaker 1: Dale seemed kind.
- 6:38Speaker 4: Of locked into and I've met Dale three times before
- 6:42Speaker 4: and he's never remembered me. So I was like, I
- 6:44Speaker 4: don't think he's interested. Yes, I'm pretty sure. Even on Paradise,
- 6:48Speaker 4: it was like nice to meet you, and I was like,
- 6:49Speaker 4: I posted a picture with you on my Instagram story, like,
- 6:53Speaker 4: so I was like, there's no one here for me.
- 6:55Speaker 4: I was like so sad, and like I was just
- 6:59Speaker 4: like bummed. I was like, oh, I'm going home, and
- 7:02Speaker 4: like I just spent the past two months walking an
- 7:04Speaker 4: hour every single day, like literally I have been like
- 7:08Speaker 4: putting spray tan on, like trying out every makeup haack
- 7:11Speaker 4: in the book. Like I was so prepared to like
- 7:14Speaker 4: live my best life. And I was like, I'm going home.
- 7:16Speaker 4: And so then and right before coming, I had just
- 7:19Speaker 4: gotten some blood work done for freezing my eggs, and
- 7:23Speaker 4: I like got I literally when I landed in Costrica,
- 7:25Speaker 4: got back information. So in that first conversation with Justin,
- 7:28Speaker 4: I like shared with him that info about my eggs,
- 7:32Speaker 4: which is very emotional for me. I feel like I
- 7:33Speaker 4: cry every time I talk about it. And it was
- 7:36Speaker 4: nothing like crazy or tragic, but it was just like,
- 7:38Speaker 4: oh dang, like I'm dealing with this new chapter of
- 7:40Speaker 4: my life.
- 7:41Speaker 1: And like, it's just a lot, and so.
- 7:43Speaker 4: Then of course, which I wouldn't expect the show to
- 7:45Speaker 4: air that, but then of course, like I get emotional,
- 7:47Speaker 4: I'm like, it's just a lot, and that's what makes
- 7:50Speaker 4: the cut, you know, which is fair, Like they why
- 7:52Speaker 4: would they show like a thirty minute conversation we had
- 7:54Speaker 4: of me talking about my eggs.
- 7:57Speaker 2: Well, I mean it is kind of it is kind
- 7:59Speaker 2: of interesting because y'all were together, so it is it
- 8:02Speaker 2: could have been a good interesting conversation, but of course
- 8:05Speaker 2: it made it feel y'all's breakup was a lot more
- 8:10Speaker 2: heavy for you, well honestly for both of you.
- 8:12Speaker 3: Because I felt like he was emotional too.
- 8:14Speaker 2: So it just felt like to me as a viewer,
- 8:16Speaker 2: even though I've talked to you and seen you in
- 8:18Speaker 2: person and like kind of know the timeline of y'all's
- 8:21Speaker 2: relationship and stuff, I as a viewer was like, oh
- 8:25Speaker 2: my god, why are they not together anymore? There's a
- 8:29Speaker 2: lot of like heaviness and sadness but love for each other.
- 8:33Speaker 1: Yeah, And I think that's probably true. Yeah, that's probably
- 8:38Speaker 1: very true.
- 8:40Speaker 2: If he had if he and Lexi had stayed and
- 8:43Speaker 2: like dated and then you were still trying to find someone.
- 8:47Speaker 3: How would you have felt watching him date someone else?
- 8:49Speaker 4: I felt fine, Oh yeah, like I and I thought Lexi,
- 8:53Speaker 4: we actually thought it was so funny like this the
- 8:55Speaker 4: day I woke up and we all got ready, we
- 8:57Speaker 4: came out, me and Lexi were both wearing like cherry swimsuits.
- 9:00Speaker 1: I was like, we are very similar. Like this is
- 9:04Speaker 1: actually making a lot of sense.
- 9:05Speaker 4: Yeah, I was like, okay, and so yeah, I feel
- 9:09Speaker 4: like I don't know, I didn't feel weird about it
- 9:11Speaker 4: at all. I was like, Lexi's great. I think Justin
- 9:14Speaker 4: and I went through a lot in our relationship. We've
- 9:15Speaker 4: both grown so much and like poured into like healing
- 9:18Speaker 4: and being in therapy and like doing things to like
- 9:20Speaker 4: make ourselves better partners for the future. So I was like,
- 9:22Speaker 4: if you found somebody, like, I really didn't feel weird.
- 9:27Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't know. I think I was
- 9:29Speaker 1: just emotional.
- 9:31Speaker 4: Maybe this is really lame to say, but I was like,
- 9:32Speaker 4: I was really emotional because I was like, oh, I
- 9:34Speaker 4: got the short end of the stick and I'm going home.
- 9:35Speaker 1: Yes, you're just selfish.
- 9:37Speaker 2: But I do though they brought you in with an
- 9:40Speaker 2: umbrella and rain, I know you didn't get a jet
- 9:43Speaker 2: ski intro. I heard you say you were like you
- 9:46Speaker 2: didn't even get a slow mo.
- 9:47Speaker 1: No, I've been filming everything in SloMo ever since. Like
- 9:50Speaker 1: I literally have my wedding cameras out, and I'm just
- 9:52Speaker 1: like you should just.
- 9:53Speaker 3: Be like this is how it should have been done.
- 9:56Speaker 4: I know I've filmed like I'll literally like film me
- 9:59Speaker 4: grilling and so motion like tossing shrimp in the air,
- 10:01Speaker 4: and I'm like, that's cool.
- 10:02Speaker 2: I just start like the slow most series. It means
- 10:04Speaker 2: a man when you're tossing your own shrimp, you know.
- 10:08Speaker 2: So after watching that, I know a lot of people
- 10:11Speaker 2: probably are like, is there a world where y'all get
- 10:16Speaker 2: back together? Yeah? I think I do.
- 10:17Speaker 1: Think that is like a hot topic question I keep getting.
- 10:21Speaker 4: And Jill asked me, like right when we arrived, she
- 10:24Speaker 4: was like, would you like consider because we me and Jill,
- 10:27Speaker 4: we were back in our room. I wish they would
- 10:29Speaker 4: play the inside of our room footage because I didn't
- 10:31Speaker 4: know there were cameras in there.
- 10:32Speaker 1: When we got in literally came in like we.
- 10:34Speaker 4: Were doing somersaults on the bed and she was like, oh,
- 10:36Speaker 4: just so you know, like there's cameras in here. I
- 10:37Speaker 4: was like, oh my god, it's like my butt is
- 10:39Speaker 4: out right now. Vulnerable, yeah, very vulnerable. But she was like, well,
- 10:44Speaker 4: would you go for Justin? And I was like no,
- 10:46Speaker 4: Like if me and Justin were to ever get back together,
- 10:49Speaker 4: like we couldn't do it here, like the level of
- 10:51Speaker 4: conversations we would need to have and like the stuff
- 10:54Speaker 4: we would have to unpack, Like I'm not doing that
- 10:57Speaker 4: on camera, so like we're gonna have to figure this out, eh,
- 11:00Speaker 4: swear like we can like date other people, but like
- 11:03Speaker 4: I would not even consider getting back with Justin on camera,
- 11:07Speaker 4: just because and I think he felt the same way,
- 11:08Speaker 4: like we went through too much together.
- 11:10Speaker 1: Like I'm sorry, but I'm not bringing my I'm not
- 11:12Speaker 1: bringing my real world to this television show just so
- 11:14Speaker 1: everyone could judge me.
- 11:16Speaker 2: Said this is only ten percent of my real life exactly.
- 11:20Speaker 2: So when he presented to the Rose, were you like,
- 11:24Speaker 2: we're not doing this? How did that happen? Because in
- 11:27Speaker 2: my mind, I thought this doesn't feel fair. I was
- 11:31Speaker 2: also like, Sussie, take the Rose and just stay on
- 11:34Speaker 2: the show when I'm doing I know.
- 11:36Speaker 4: I was so caught off guard. Yeah, like I never
- 11:41Speaker 4: saw that coming. I literally was sitting there after they
- 11:43Speaker 4: sent Jeremy third. I was like, oh wow, like I
- 11:46Speaker 4: really have no storyline here. I was like there was
- 11:49Speaker 4: not even like a question of who Jeremy was picking,
- 11:51Speaker 4: because I'm like they would have put him last if.
- 11:53Speaker 1: It was like, oh, who's he get pick? I was like, dang,
- 11:56Speaker 1: like I got. I was like I'm in and out
- 11:58Speaker 1: of here real quick, and they do not care. And
- 12:01Speaker 1: then when it was Justin last, I was like these
- 12:03Speaker 1: produces are so dumb.
- 12:05Speaker 4: I was like, they think Justin would give me his
- 12:06Speaker 4: road and that anyone would believe, Like I literally was
- 12:09Speaker 4: like this is such a I was like, this is
- 12:11Speaker 4: such a dumb storyline, like no one's gonna think Justin's
- 12:13Speaker 4: gonna give me the rose, Like literally so dumb.
- 12:16Speaker 1: And then he called my name and I was like
- 12:17Speaker 1: what the what the heck?
- 12:19Speaker 4: And then this is where maybe I just need to
- 12:22Speaker 4: reevaluate my brain cells because I was like really realizing,
- 12:27Speaker 4: like I was so unaware that I thought I was
- 12:31Speaker 4: going to go up there, and in my brain, I'm
- 12:33Speaker 4: like Justin and Lexi must have conspired and they both
- 12:36Speaker 4: wanted to save me, so like Justin was going to
- 12:38Speaker 4: offer me the rose first, and when I say no,
- 12:41Speaker 4: I'm going to go back in line and then him
- 12:42Speaker 4: and Lexi will continue forward cause like if you look,
- 12:45Speaker 4: I like, go up there, and I'm like that's so nice,
- 12:47Speaker 4: but like I can't let you do this. I go
- 12:48Speaker 4: back in line as if the rose ceremony is gonna continue.
- 12:51Speaker 2: I get to me. Yeah, I was like, oh, something
- 12:54Speaker 2: new is happening, right same.
- 12:56Speaker 4: I was like, this is a weird, you know, plot twist,
- 12:59Speaker 4: but like here we go. And then Justin left and
- 13:02Speaker 4: I looked at Lexi and I was like, wait, did
- 13:03Speaker 4: you guys plan this or did you guys talk? And
- 13:05Speaker 4: she was like no, And then I was like, oh god.
- 13:09Speaker 4: I was like, oh my gosh.
- 13:10Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm like.
- 13:12Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 13:12Speaker 1: I was so confused. I was like, what is going on?
- 13:15Speaker 4: So then I run after Justin and of course it's
- 13:18Speaker 4: like I'm in a holding area. They're like just wait here,
- 13:20Speaker 4: we're talking to him, and I'm like, let me go
- 13:22Speaker 4: in there. You know, I don't even know where he was,
- 13:24Speaker 4: like I thought he was around a corner. And then
- 13:26Speaker 4: all of a sudden, they make me go back to
- 13:27Speaker 4: the rose ceremony. I thought they were going to like
- 13:30Speaker 4: be like Justin left the rose for Susie, and so
- 13:32Speaker 4: I was crying because I was like, I am not
- 13:34Speaker 4: gonna accept it, Like now I feel terrible that Justin
- 13:38Speaker 4: is also he's chosen to leave, and.
- 13:41Speaker 1: I understood quickly.
- 13:42Speaker 4: I was like, oh, he's like he feels humiliated, like
- 13:44Speaker 4: he was taking a chance by doing that. I thought
- 13:48Speaker 4: it was like he had told Lexi or something. Ooh
- 13:51Speaker 4: it was dark times. And so then I was Then
- 13:53Speaker 4: when it went to Jill.
- 13:54Speaker 1: I was like, take the house, take it. Jill was like,
- 13:58Speaker 1: save me from this pressure, let me leave. Yeah, please
- 14:03Speaker 1: send me on my way. I should have never come.
- 14:05Speaker 2: So then you get a call in the airport, Oh
- 14:07Speaker 2: my gosh, sure, okay, were.
- 14:10Speaker 3: You interested in Jeremy?
- 14:12Speaker 4: I thought he was super cute, like I feel like
- 14:14Speaker 4: I don't. I didn't know him well enough to be
- 14:18Speaker 4: able to say whether there was any kind of.
- 14:20Speaker 1: Like longevity there.
- 14:21Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 14:22Speaker 4: And he even asked me, or I think he asked
- 14:25Speaker 4: me before the rose trem andy, like if we if
- 14:26Speaker 4: I gave you my rose, like would you actually consider
- 14:29Speaker 4: like do you actually see something here? And I was like,
- 14:31Speaker 4: I mean yeah, like we can explore it, but also
- 14:34Speaker 4: like I just got here. I don't know you and
- 14:37Speaker 4: That's where me and Jill at the beginning were like,
- 14:39Speaker 4: we are not gonna be begging for roses. You know,
- 14:42Speaker 4: I'm not gonna sit there and be like, I you
- 14:45Speaker 4: know what, I've been thinking about this since I got here.
- 14:48Speaker 2: You are everything was looking.
- 14:51Speaker 1: Ever, yeah, because I'm like, I just don't know, Hugh.
- 14:53Speaker 4: I just like literally spent thirty minutes on jet ski
- 14:55Speaker 4: and then we kiss on a David Like that's all
- 14:57Speaker 4: I got. So it was like I'm open, but like,
- 15:01Speaker 4: I'm not going to sit here and lie to anybody.
- 15:04Speaker 4: So yeah, I mean I didn't even know what the
- 15:08Speaker 4: question was at this point.
- 15:09Speaker 1: No.
- 15:09Speaker 3: I was asking if Jeremy was someone you were interested.
- 15:11Speaker 1: In and then the phone call.
- 15:13Speaker 2: But my thing at this point, oh yeah the phone call.
- 15:15Speaker 2: So he calls yeah, And at this point you're kind
- 15:18Speaker 2: of you've accepted I'm going home.
- 15:20Speaker 1: Yeah, I get me A day I got there, I
- 15:22Speaker 1: was like, I'm immediately going home.
- 15:24Speaker 2: There's your arrival.
- 15:27Speaker 3: When you said I'm out.
- 15:28Speaker 4: Of here, when I was trying to take tequila shots
- 15:30Speaker 4: and people were like, hey, it was a great meeting.
- 15:32Speaker 4: I'm going to bed, I was like, Okay, I guess
- 15:34Speaker 4: I'll see myself out I would have been devastated.
- 15:39Speaker 2: On that note.
- 15:40Speaker 1: I was really sad.
- 15:41Speaker 4: So he calls, he calls, I'm actually I was actually
- 15:44Speaker 4: in transport to the airport, so I technically lied. I
- 15:48Speaker 4: wasn't about to get on the plane. I was still
- 15:50Speaker 4: in the car. Could have turned around, could have turned around.
- 15:53Speaker 4: But it was a four hour car ride. I mean
- 15:55Speaker 4: you were about three hours ago. Oh oh Yeahad also
- 15:57Speaker 4: on the way to the airport, the drive her fully
- 16:01Speaker 4: got off the side of the road and like we
- 16:02Speaker 4: went and had a full meal together, just him and
- 16:04Speaker 4: I and like he has is he single?
- 16:08Speaker 1: He has two sons? Oh okay, and there I know.
- 16:11Speaker 4: And I was like, using my little bit of Spanish,
- 16:13Speaker 4: I have a full video. I was just like recording
- 16:14Speaker 4: myself trying like Coastareacan food.
- 16:16Speaker 1: And then we ended up.
- 16:17Speaker 4: Talking about his sons and I was like are they hot?
- 16:20Speaker 4: And he was like yeah, like a cute. And I
- 16:23Speaker 4: was like, maybe we maybe we take this thing off
- 16:25Speaker 4: roading and turn around and.
- 16:28Speaker 2: Your locals who did Susie, God, that would be like
- 16:35Speaker 2: my actual dream.
- 16:36Speaker 1: That's the actual dream.
- 16:39Speaker 4: So yeah, I got the call and I was like
- 16:42Speaker 4: I just felt so bad. I was like I don't
- 16:45Speaker 4: know what's going on with Bailey right now, but I
- 16:48Speaker 4: I really did feel I mean, they looked so cute together.
- 16:50Speaker 4: I was like, you guys really do have something special.
- 16:52Speaker 4: I don't know what's going on that you're calling me.
- 16:55Speaker 4: I figured somebody came in and took her on a date,
- 16:57Speaker 4: you know, And so that was fit.
- 16:59Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, that was hard to watch.
- 17:02Speaker 2: I was like.
- 17:03Speaker 4: Whoa and then yeah, and then I like I knew
- 17:09Speaker 4: if I came back, I'd be in a love triangle.
- 17:10Speaker 4: So I was like, I don't want to like come
- 17:12Speaker 4: back to that. Yeah, and like I would have been
- 17:15Speaker 4: so sad that Justin tried to sacrifice his rose for
- 17:19Speaker 4: me and then went home. And then I'm like, you
- 17:22Speaker 4: know what, I'm actually gonna go back.
- 17:24Speaker 3: He's like text never, why is her phone not on?
- 17:28Speaker 2: Exactly? Literally she should be back. So I'm assuming y'all
- 17:34Speaker 2: have talks or y'all talk once you went home?
- 17:36Speaker 3: Yes soon for y'all in contact.
- 17:40Speaker 1: I was blowing up his phone. I was like, what happened?
- 17:42Speaker 2: Why did you do that?
- 17:44Speaker 1: Why did you leave?
- 17:45Speaker 4: Like I was immediately like as soon as like as
- 17:48Speaker 4: soon as I put the pieces together that like this
- 17:50Speaker 4: was not conspired between him and Lexi I was like,
- 17:52Speaker 4: oh my gosh, like, why why didn't I go up
- 17:55Speaker 4: to the rose like podium and be like can we
- 17:58Speaker 4: have a conversation like and I guess for context, like
- 18:02Speaker 4: he thought Jeremy was giving me the rose like he
- 18:04Speaker 4: had told me earlier in the day. He was like, well,
- 18:06Speaker 4: I know Jeremy's didn't give you the rose and I
- 18:08Speaker 4: was like, I don't. I actually don't think so, yeah,
- 18:11Speaker 4: And so I think he really thought I was going
- 18:13Speaker 4: to have a rose. And then right before the rose ceremony,
- 18:16Speaker 4: he said, because they separate the guys and girls before
- 18:18Speaker 4: you walk in. He said that they he found out
- 18:20Speaker 4: like in that moment that Jeremy was picking Bailey, and
- 18:23Speaker 4: he was like it was like a in the moment
- 18:26Speaker 4: decision of like what do I do?
- 18:28Speaker 1: And I guess Like talking.
- 18:29Speaker 4: To him post show, he said that he felt like
- 18:33Speaker 4: it wasn't super solid with Lexi and he was like,
- 18:35Speaker 4: I figured you were getting the rose from Jeremy and
- 18:37Speaker 4: then moments before it was like, wait, do I really
- 18:41Speaker 4: just let this person I care about go home? And like,
- 18:44Speaker 4: and I think that we both in our conversations beforehand,
- 18:47Speaker 4: we had both said like we know one of us
- 18:48Speaker 4: is probably going to get screwed over when we go,
- 18:51Speaker 4: Like someone's going to be brought into like disrupt or whatever.
- 18:54Speaker 4: I didn't think it would be me. I was like,
- 18:57Speaker 4: if you want me to pull any man away from
- 18:59Speaker 4: a woman, I won't. I will gladly go home and
- 19:02Speaker 4: bury my head in my pillow and cry. Well.
- 19:03Speaker 2: I don't think people realize, and I don't know if
- 19:05Speaker 2: it's changed at all, but when you go on Paradise,
- 19:07Speaker 2: you you just say like you're just saying I want
- 19:10Speaker 2: to go, but you have no control or awareness of
- 19:13Speaker 2: when you're going to be sent in, right, So like
- 19:16Speaker 2: you could literally go the last day for all you know,
- 19:18Speaker 2: I know, right, Like, yeah, that's still how it is.
- 19:21Speaker 1: Yeah, pretty much.
- 19:22Speaker 2: So you and Justin knew that you were both going,
- 19:24Speaker 2: but you didn't know if you were going to go
- 19:26Speaker 2: first or he would be there once you got there,
- 19:28Speaker 2: right I did?
- 19:29Speaker 1: I think?
- 19:29Speaker 4: I hope I'm allowed to share this, But the producers
- 19:31Speaker 4: did give me a headset that he was down there already,
- 19:33Speaker 4: because it was really nice of them. Yeah, I felt,
- 19:36Speaker 4: And I also like, I think I would have figured
- 19:38Speaker 4: it out because I was like, there's no way I'm
- 19:40Speaker 4: sitting in this hotel for nine days or whatever it was,
- 19:43Speaker 4: and Justin's not already down there. Yeah, there's no way
- 19:47Speaker 4: that we're both going to be late arrivals, you know, right, Like.
- 19:50Speaker 2: At the same time Bombshell was entering at the same time.
- 19:52Speaker 1: Imagine we walk in hand in hand.
- 19:55Speaker 3: They're like, why are they here?
- 19:56Speaker 2: Literally, so you talk after the show, you blow up
- 20:01Speaker 2: his phone? Yeah, and where are y'all? Now We're in
- 20:04Speaker 2: really good terms. We share a managers.
- 20:06Speaker 4: So we had been actively avoiding each other prior to Paradise,
- 20:11Speaker 4: Like we both were at stagecoach and I would somebody
- 20:15Speaker 4: would be like, oh, just so you know, Justin's on
- 20:16Speaker 4: the way, and I'd be like, great, I'm actually rapping
- 20:18Speaker 4: up my night.
- 20:20Speaker 2: I'm going to go home. Yeah.
- 20:21Speaker 1: So we were very much like I didn't want to
- 20:23Speaker 1: run into him.
- 20:24Speaker 4: I ran into him at the Super Bowl and I
- 20:25Speaker 4: think that was the last time I like ran into
- 20:27Speaker 4: him in the wild, which was in February.
- 20:29Speaker 1: Yeah, and I was.
- 20:30Speaker 4: Like, I don't want to do that again, Like I
- 20:33Speaker 4: just it was just like too much. I was like, I, yeah,
- 20:37Speaker 4: I don't want to run into him anywhere. And we
- 20:43Speaker 4: were in no contact. So coming off this show. It
- 20:46Speaker 4: definitely brought us back into each other's atmosphere. Like I
- 20:50Speaker 4: was immediately like we both were mad at each other.
- 20:52Speaker 2: Low key.
- 20:52Speaker 4: He was like, why didn't you take the rose? And
- 20:54Speaker 4: I'm like, why'd you give it to me? Like what
- 20:55Speaker 4: are we doing? Like, oh my gosh, but we both
- 20:59Speaker 4: were like I'm joking when I say we're mad at
- 21:01Speaker 4: each other because there was so much I was like,
- 21:03Speaker 4: I know that you were doing that with love for me,
- 21:06Speaker 4: and obviously when you paint the picture of like what
- 21:09Speaker 4: he was experiencing, I'm like, Okay, I get it, you
- 21:12Speaker 4: know I And then when he sees where I'm coming
- 21:15Speaker 4: from where he's like, oh, you literally just had a
- 21:17Speaker 4: conversation telling this girl to pursue me.
- 21:19Speaker 1: How crappy would that be if you are like, yeah,
- 21:23Speaker 1: date him?
- 21:24Speaker 4: Like we're moved on from each other, like blah blah blah.
- 21:26Speaker 4: And then all of a sudden, I'm like, actually, I'm
- 21:29Speaker 4: gonna take your rose. Like we both were just trying
- 21:32Speaker 4: to like be selfless. I think that's kind of a
- 21:35Speaker 4: thing that was happening. And so we went on a
- 21:37Speaker 4: trip with our management company in Mexico. So I'm like,
- 21:40Speaker 4: we're hanging out in Mexico doing like partying, having fun
- 21:43Speaker 4: like whatever. There have been like pick up all events
- 21:47Speaker 4: that our management company is either a part of or throwing.
- 21:51Speaker 4: We share a lot of the same friends, so we've
- 21:54Speaker 4: not divvied up the friend group in the divorce yet,
- 21:59Speaker 4: you know, like some people you're like, oh, who did
- 22:00Speaker 4: you get in the breakup? We still share a lot
- 22:04Speaker 4: of our same friends, and so for a long time
- 22:06Speaker 4: it was like, Okay, well, game night this week is
- 22:07Speaker 4: not with Justin or not with Suzie or whatever. Yeah,
- 22:10Speaker 4: and now we're just you know, we're on really great
- 22:13Speaker 4: terms and like I think we love each other so much,
- 22:15Speaker 4: and like probably if.
- 22:16Speaker 1: We were to ever move on from each other, we'd
- 22:20Speaker 1: have to probably go back.
- 22:21Speaker 4: And I just don't think an ex or a future
- 22:23Speaker 4: boyfriend or a girlfriend would be like, yeah, I'm totally
- 22:26Speaker 4: cool with this.
- 22:26Speaker 2: They won't.
- 22:27Speaker 4: Yeah, so we're gonna have to figure that out and
- 22:30Speaker 4: maybe divvy up the friend group or go back to
- 22:32Speaker 4: coexisting the.
- 22:33Speaker 2: Way we were before the show talk about getting back
- 22:35Speaker 2: together after all this or I mean.
- 22:36Speaker 4: We've definitely had conversations of like I think that That's
- 22:39Speaker 4: the thing though, is like when you're in no contact,
- 22:42Speaker 4: Like it's much easier to like actually move on, Like
- 22:46Speaker 4: we were both dating other people and like you know, yeah,
- 22:50Speaker 4: moving forward, And I think now it's like a lot
- 22:53Speaker 4: of it was just relying on each other for emotional
- 22:57Speaker 4: support as the show was coming out. Also, kind of
- 22:59Speaker 4: what we were talking about before we started is like
- 23:01Speaker 4: there's so much anxiety like leading up to like how
- 23:05Speaker 4: is this going to play out?
- 23:06Speaker 1: Like is just going to get a villain?
- 23:08Speaker 3: Edit?
- 23:08Speaker 1: Am I going to get a villain?
- 23:09Speaker 4: Edit? Like we just were so anxious and like it
- 23:13Speaker 4: was nice to have each other to like as friends,
- 23:16Speaker 4: to rely on and be like hey, like I appreciate you.
- 23:20Speaker 4: I understand where you're coming from, But I think right
- 23:23Speaker 4: now it wouldn't make sense for us to get back together.
- 23:25Speaker 4: I think we're both like really working on healing and
- 23:30Speaker 4: like I think we both have a lot of like
- 23:32Speaker 4: individual growth before we would be ready to like either
- 23:35Speaker 4: visit a relationship with each other or even like in
- 23:39Speaker 4: general just like going through this experience, Like I was like,
- 23:42Speaker 4: really I was like, gen I feel like I had
- 23:45Speaker 4: to like mourn without the experience. Like I was so
- 23:46Speaker 4: excited to like do something again with the Bachelor, and
- 23:50Speaker 4: it was just such a big disappointment. I was like
- 23:53Speaker 4: pretty low about it for a while, and I really
- 23:56Speaker 4: regret it.
- 23:57Speaker 1: I still kind of just wish I hadn't gone.
- 23:59Speaker 4: I'm like, I just wish I had not gone back,
- 24:02Speaker 4: even though like they treated me fine and like they
- 24:04Speaker 4: didn't do anything bad to me.
- 24:05Speaker 1: It's just that like the situation.
- 24:06Speaker 4: Yeah, I just wish I hadn't gone. But yeah, I
- 24:11Speaker 4: think we Yeah, I think we're both just like focused
- 24:12Speaker 4: on individually healing and if that were to be a
- 24:15Speaker 4: conversation later, like it would be down the road.
- 24:18Speaker 1: But when we've both like been in some intensive therapy.
- 24:21Speaker 2: Okay, so it sounds like as of right now you're
- 24:25Speaker 2: not each other's person, but it's not fully off the table,
- 24:28Speaker 2: like you're not like never again.
- 24:30Speaker 4: I yeah, I don't feel that way, and I didn't
- 24:32Speaker 4: feel that way before, but I but it was enough
- 24:34Speaker 4: for us both to be like we can't be in contact,
- 24:37Speaker 4: you know what I mean, Like, yeah, before the show,
- 24:40Speaker 4: it was like you broke up in early January, ran
- 24:44Speaker 4: into each other in February. But during that whole time,
- 24:46Speaker 4: it's like we were like this isn't We're never gonna
- 24:49Speaker 4: be able to move on if we like stay friends.
- 24:52Speaker 2: So I just don't think there's any way to do
- 24:53Speaker 2: like I think you have to. I think no contact
- 24:56Speaker 2: sounds like the hardest thing in the world, but I
- 24:58Speaker 2: also think it's the only way to to move on
- 25:01Speaker 2: from someone. I agree, especially when y'all have a lot
- 25:03Speaker 2: of love and respect and it's not like someone did
- 25:06Speaker 2: as far as I know, something like that you can't
- 25:09Speaker 2: come back from. It was more just like we need
- 25:12Speaker 2: to like be on our own to grow, but like
- 25:14Speaker 2: there wasn't anything catastrophic that happened, which almost makes it harder.
- 25:18Speaker 2: Like sometimes you doesn't wish someone did something terrible literally
- 25:21Speaker 2: so you had a reason to be like I never
- 25:23Speaker 2: want to talk to you again.
- 25:24Speaker 1: Yeah, that would make it so easy, It really would.
- 25:27Speaker 4: Yeah, And even I feel like people always say like, oh,
- 25:29Speaker 4: you and Clayton stayed friends, and I'm like, yeah, but
- 25:31Speaker 4: we also went a full month without any communication, like
- 25:35Speaker 4: no contact, and then we were going to be at
- 25:38Speaker 4: an event together or something, and we reached back out.
- 25:40Speaker 4: We had a conversation. We both like time heals so much.
- 25:45Speaker 4: And yes, I would personally say me and Clayton are
- 25:48Speaker 4: on great terms, but like we're not friends.
- 25:51Speaker 2: You know, I like talking on the daily or hanging
- 25:53Speaker 2: out totally.
- 25:54Speaker 4: Yeah, So I feel like and I think because our
- 25:56Speaker 4: lives are public, like it probably gets this label of like, oh,
- 25:59Speaker 4: I'm still friends with my exit. I'm like, well, we're
- 26:00Speaker 4: not actually like friends, but I still care about the
- 26:03Speaker 4: person and like, you know, respect him or whatever.
- 26:06Speaker 2: But yeah, well I wanted to ask about your reality
- 26:10Speaker 2: TV day since she brought it up.
- 26:11Speaker 3: But we're going to take a break and we'll be
- 26:13Speaker 3: right back. All right, we're back.
- 26:29Speaker 2: So first of all, you're a big reality TV girl,
- 26:32Speaker 2: because I was listening to your podcast.
- 26:33Speaker 3: I was listening to The Vile.
- 26:34Speaker 2: Files with you on it, and I was like, she
- 26:37Speaker 2: loves you love reality TV?
- 26:38Speaker 4: Yeah, ever since going on it? Oh really yeah not
- 26:42Speaker 4: before never before.
- 26:44Speaker 2: Interesting See yeah, I guess I kind of was the
- 26:45Speaker 2: same way, but more so Haley loves reality TV. So like, yeah,
- 26:50Speaker 2: she is a.
- 26:51Speaker 3: Huge Bachelor fan.
- 26:52Speaker 1: That's so funny.
- 26:53Speaker 2: Yeah, And she tried to lie and say she hadn't
- 26:55Speaker 2: watched my seasons, but then I found out she did.
- 26:57Speaker 2: It's like it's okay, like it's a big show. It's
- 27:00Speaker 2: not like this like niche like embarrassing show that no.
- 27:03Speaker 1: One watches like ninety eight Fiance or.
- 27:05Speaker 2: Something like Jenner Branderson watches at the time, watch The Bachelor.
- 27:09Speaker 2: So I'm like, you're fine, Yeah, you can admit it.
- 27:11Speaker 2: But anyways, so now I'm into reality TV. But I
- 27:16Speaker 2: heard you talking about how Love Island was just like
- 27:19Speaker 2: disappointing this season compared to last season, which I think
- 27:21Speaker 2: was the sentiment of the USA as a whole. Yeah,
- 27:25Speaker 2: And I didn't watch last season live, so I tried
- 27:28Speaker 2: to binge it to talk about on the podcast, but
- 27:30Speaker 2: it was like thirty episodes that I had to binge,
- 27:33Speaker 2: and I think I did it in like a week,
- 27:34Speaker 2: which was a brain rot that I don't wish on anyone.
- 27:38Speaker 2: And so I kind of hated it because I was like,
- 27:41Speaker 2: I don't get the appeal. Yeah, and then I watched
- 27:44Speaker 2: this season live and I was like, I get the
- 27:45Speaker 2: camaraderie of like all of us being in it together,
- 27:49Speaker 2: but I agree, there was just this lack of rooting
- 27:52Speaker 2: for anyone.
- 27:53Speaker 1: Yeah, That's how I felt. I was like, I feel
- 27:56Speaker 1: like there's no like genuine connection to like I don't
- 28:01Speaker 1: know the root for Like, it just felt like I
- 28:04Speaker 1: don't know.
- 28:05Speaker 4: It was not and don't get me wrong. Individually, I
- 28:08Speaker 4: like a lot of them, and I'm like, oh, they
- 28:09Speaker 4: were great like people to watch and individually root for,
- 28:13Speaker 4: But there weren't a lot of couples with like highs,
- 28:17Speaker 4: lows pits.
- 28:18Speaker 1: Yeah, like peaks. I was just like and then like
- 28:21Speaker 1: cosa more.
- 28:22Speaker 4: I'm like, what a brilliant twist of a show, But
- 28:24Speaker 4: like there was, it doesn't make any sense when there's
- 28:27Speaker 4: no couples.
- 28:28Speaker 1: It was like, what's the point, what's the point?
- 28:30Speaker 4: Save them or just send them all in, send a
- 28:32Speaker 4: bunch of bombshells and let it just be chaos.
- 28:35Speaker 2: Yes, but you were talking about how different it feels
- 28:38Speaker 2: to watch, y'all. We're talking about how different it feels
- 28:40Speaker 2: to watch people kiss on Love Island make out on
- 28:43Speaker 2: Love Island versus Bachelor and Paradise. And it was so
- 28:46Speaker 2: jarring to go from Bachelor and from Love Island challenges
- 28:50Speaker 2: to that challenge on Bachelorne Paradise where they were in.
- 28:53Speaker 1: The tent to kissing booth. Yeah, why is that?
- 28:56Speaker 2: Though?
- 28:56Speaker 3: Do you think?
- 28:57Speaker 1: I that's a great question, And I don't know.
- 29:01Speaker 4: I feel like so, I was like listening to some
- 29:04Speaker 4: people talk about Love Island through the context of like
- 29:07Speaker 4: they'll do these crazy, like sexualized challenges where they're literally
- 29:13Speaker 4: like it's like sometimes like soft porn, Like it's bizarre,
- 29:18Speaker 4: and it's kind of like it kind of got to
- 29:19Speaker 4: be too much for me.
- 29:19Speaker 1: This season. I was like, I don't know that I'm
- 29:21Speaker 1: like into this, like, oh, it's a little Actually.
- 29:24Speaker 3: The milk thing was so gross.
- 29:26Speaker 2: I was physically like I can't watch this. Yeah, And
- 29:29Speaker 2: then the makeout sessions and they're grinding on each other
- 29:32Speaker 2: I know.
- 29:33Speaker 1: I'm like, I'm like, are we getting old or is it?
- 29:37Speaker 2: Like I feel literally like a grandma. I have my
- 29:40Speaker 2: grandma now like these children on TV.
- 29:43Speaker 1: Oh my gosh.
- 29:44Speaker 4: But then they go from these challenges to then being
- 29:47Speaker 4: in the villa and it's like, oh, we haven't made
- 29:49Speaker 4: out yet outside of a challenge, yes, And I'm like
- 29:51Speaker 4: what you're literally like practically doing it, and then you
- 29:55Speaker 4: like don't kiss outside of a challenge, Like that's so
- 29:57Speaker 4: bizarre to me. Where I feel like in the back world,
- 30:00Speaker 4: it's like or at least this season, it's like there's
- 30:03Speaker 4: these challenges now and they're like maybe maybe the thing
- 30:07Speaker 4: is that like the Bachelor's like romanticized in a sense,
- 30:12Speaker 4: like I think of The Bachelor, it's more romantic.
- 30:15Speaker 1: But I don't know how you felt on the show.
- 30:16Speaker 4: I was like, oh my gosh, like this is too
- 30:20Speaker 4: romantic for me, like when something would be like so
- 30:22Speaker 4: grand and like oh yeah, I was like, I don't
- 30:24Speaker 4: even know you, but like this is like really a
- 30:27Speaker 4: big gesture where like, I don't know, it just felt
- 30:30Speaker 4: like there's a lot of pressure on these moments to
- 30:31Speaker 4: be like beautiful and romantic where it's like you're in
- 30:33Speaker 4: this like flowy like like kissing booth, and I was like,
- 30:37Speaker 4: it just is like it's like a juxtaposition.
- 30:39Speaker 2: It's weird.
- 30:40Speaker 3: I agree.
- 30:41Speaker 2: I think The Bachelor has always almost like I think
- 30:44Speaker 2: it prides itself on this like romantic love story that
- 30:49Speaker 2: they're trying to create, and there's always been a there's
- 30:51Speaker 2: always been a type of person that they have on
- 30:55Speaker 2: the show, especially when it comes to the women, and
- 30:57Speaker 2: so I think that seeing them try to into this
- 31:00Speaker 2: like challenge space of like chemistry tests and what Love
- 31:04Speaker 2: Island's doing feels forced.
- 31:06Speaker 5: Because it's like that's not why people watch the Bachelor franchise.
- 31:10Speaker 2: But yeah, I remember on a group date, Chris Souls
- 31:14Speaker 2: took me up to this like the rooftop. Yeah, and
- 31:18Speaker 2: had like all this like moment romantic and I just
- 31:21Speaker 2: listened to all the girls talk about making out with him,
- 31:26Speaker 2: and so I go up there.
- 31:27Speaker 3: I'm like a virgin.
- 31:29Speaker 2: I'm like very selective of who I've kissed, and I'm like,
- 31:34Speaker 2: my parents are gonna be watching this, and I felt
- 31:37Speaker 2: like he was gonna kiss me, and I was like
- 31:38Speaker 2: I don't want to kiss right, Like, if we're gonna kiss,
- 31:41Speaker 2: I wanted to be like our moment and not on
- 31:43Speaker 2: a group day where you just kissed everyone. So I
- 31:45Speaker 2: really felt what you're talking about, where like everything felt
- 31:48Speaker 2: very grand and like trying to make it romantic. Yes,
- 31:52Speaker 2: but I'm like he just made up with every other
- 31:55Speaker 2: girl in this state, and I'm like the last one.
- 31:58Speaker 4: I literally I remember were seeing Clayton with lipstick on
- 32:02Speaker 4: his slip at one point and I was like, get
- 32:05Speaker 4: me out of here.
- 32:06Speaker 1: I'm tapping out. I was like I can't because yeah,
- 32:09Speaker 1: I just knew in one girl.
- 32:11Speaker 4: Oh my gosh, Like I think it was Eliza. Literally
- 32:13Speaker 4: loved her. She was so it was such a funny moment.
- 32:16Speaker 4: She came back and like or she like put lipless
- 32:17Speaker 4: on before she left.
- 32:18Speaker 1: She came back.
- 32:18Speaker 4: Her lips were like dry as a bone, and we
- 32:20Speaker 4: were like, we know what you were doing. But then
- 32:23Speaker 4: it's like, okay, Susie, it's your turn, and you're like, oh,
- 32:26Speaker 4: like I cannot.
- 32:27Speaker 3: Like what number am I?
- 32:28Speaker 1: Literally?
- 32:29Speaker 2: And they also don't show that it's a turn thing,
- 32:31Speaker 2: like they just think that we go up and interrupt
- 32:34Speaker 2: when we want, but there is like an order to it,
- 32:36Speaker 2: so you don't really get to choose your your moment
- 32:40Speaker 2: of when you get to kiss him, if you were
- 32:42Speaker 2: going to kiss him, I know, but yeah, there was
- 32:44Speaker 2: Caitlin Bristow would wear this like really bold lip color
- 32:48Speaker 2: and I'd be like, I know, he has that all
- 32:50Speaker 2: over his face. So she'd come back and I'm like,
- 32:53Speaker 2: you just got purple lipstick all over She'd be so funny. Okay,
- 32:59Speaker 2: so your reality TV days, Yes, in the dating world,
- 33:02Speaker 2: are you? Are you retired?
- 33:03Speaker 1: I have to be done. Unfortunately, what if?
- 33:06Speaker 2: What if?
- 33:07Speaker 3: What if Love Island came to you?
- 33:09Speaker 1: Okay, never Love Island.
- 33:10Speaker 4: I've been I like did a funny bit where I
- 33:13Speaker 4: tried to be funny bit where I was like, I'm
- 33:14Speaker 4: trying to get recruited by Love Island. Meanwhile, I'd already
- 33:17Speaker 4: filmed Bachelor in Paradise, so I was like, I know,
- 33:20Speaker 4: like my contract wouldn't let me go anyways, but I
- 33:22Speaker 4: was just doing it as a bit and I went
- 33:23Speaker 4: home to visit my parents and my mom was.
- 33:25Speaker 1: Like, are you trying to go on that show? And
- 33:27Speaker 1: I was like, oh my god, Mom, No, I was like,
- 33:28Speaker 1: it's just for the internet. Like I'm literally just trying
- 33:31Speaker 1: to get like I'm just clock chasing it.
- 33:33Speaker 3: This is this is content.
- 33:34Speaker 2: It's content.
- 33:35Speaker 4: I'm I'm literally writing the coattails of the biggest show
- 33:37Speaker 4: of the season, you know, like don't worry.
- 33:40Speaker 1: So like, no, I could never go.
- 33:41Speaker 4: I don't think I would even like be the prototype
- 33:43Speaker 4: of what would go on anyways, but like I also
- 33:46Speaker 4: couldn't do it. I did get contacted by a show
- 33:49Speaker 4: actich I can't say what show, but I like considered
- 33:53Speaker 4: it for a hot minute coming off Paradise, and then
- 33:55Speaker 4: it's kind of when I hit the lull, the anxiety,
- 33:58Speaker 4: the like just feeling really sad about it, and I
- 34:00Speaker 4: was I was like, hey, appreciate the like so appreciate
- 34:04Speaker 4: you reaching out, but like I'm going to pass. And
- 34:07Speaker 4: then like the next day I was like, should I
- 34:09Speaker 4: have done that, and then I was like, no, that's
- 34:11Speaker 4: the right decision.
- 34:12Speaker 1: And I think now I'm like.
- 34:15Speaker 4: I wanted to, like I would I want to do
- 34:17Speaker 4: reality TV again, I'm like down, yeah, but like, what
- 34:20Speaker 4: what is my pivot? I'm like, do I do like
- 34:22Speaker 4: the challenge or like Big Brother Survivor or something that's
- 34:26Speaker 4: like more challenge related.
- 34:28Speaker 2: I I've always wanted and I think they did it
- 34:33Speaker 2: with Bachelor Game.
- 34:35Speaker 3: They did something.
- 34:36Speaker 2: I know they did Winter Games, but like there weren't
- 34:38Speaker 2: they weren't really challenges.
- 34:39Speaker 5: Yeah, I wish they would do a road Rules type
- 34:42Speaker 5: show with like actual challenges, but with former Bachelor people
- 34:46Speaker 5: or Bachelor people and if people spark a romance, great,
- 34:50Speaker 5: kind of like show Rules, but that's not the goal
- 34:52Speaker 5: of the show, which I know they would never do
- 34:54Speaker 5: because the whole goal is to get a rose whatever.
- 34:56Speaker 2: Right, But I've always wanted them to do that.
- 34:58Speaker 4: I would like that feels very on brand for what
- 35:02Speaker 4: I would want to do. Like that, Like I jokingly
- 35:05Speaker 4: said in my like farewell post to Paradise, was like
- 35:08Speaker 4: like I just wanted to like go have summer camp.
- 35:10Speaker 1: Like it felt when I got there, I was like,
- 35:12Speaker 1: this is so fun.
- 35:12Speaker 4: I'm here with a bunch of people, and like, I
- 35:14Speaker 4: was so excited to like make new friends and like,
- 35:17Speaker 4: and I was like, that would be more like summer
- 35:18Speaker 4: camp if I got to stay. Because I actually didn't
- 35:20Speaker 4: have a connection, I guess, so what, you know, why
- 35:23Speaker 4: would I be there? But I'm like, that's what I want, Like,
- 35:27Speaker 4: I just want to like hang out and have fun.
- 35:29Speaker 2: If the gold did the Goldens come in while.
- 35:31Speaker 1: You were there, they came the next day.
- 35:32Speaker 2: If they had come and you and one of the
- 35:35Speaker 2: men had, they might be more interested in you. Would
- 35:40Speaker 2: you accept their rose?
- 35:44Speaker 1: That's a good question.
- 35:46Speaker 4: If April was giving the rose to Jonathan the same week,
- 35:50Speaker 4: then yeah, like sure, but not to.
- 35:52Speaker 3: Be the lone ranger.
- 35:55Speaker 1: I don't think so.
- 35:56Speaker 4: I mean, I don't think I would say no. I
- 35:58Speaker 4: think i'd probably do says, Oh, Gary's great.
- 36:01Speaker 2: I know, and he's fun. Yeah, and he doesn't feel
- 36:04Speaker 2: like that old to me. No, Yeah, he has a
- 36:07Speaker 2: very youthful spirit.
- 36:09Speaker 1: I agree. We'd be coming out of the car together
- 36:11Speaker 1: dancing with.
- 36:12Speaker 2: I think Kaylee would let me go on if I
- 36:13Speaker 2: could connect with Garrett.
- 36:15Speaker 4: Yeah, that's a that's a fair ask, I think, But no,
- 36:18Speaker 4: I think if there was no pressure for it to
- 36:19Speaker 4: be a romantic connection. I'd be like, yeah, let's yeah,
- 36:22Speaker 4: let's team up, let's do this, like for yeah, let's get.
- 36:26Speaker 2: Let's speak to money. Because they've added this money out.
- 36:29Speaker 2: The Bachelor Paradises thrown me for a loop because every
- 36:31Speaker 2: preview there's new rules. I'm like, wait, yeah, I feel
- 36:35Speaker 2: again feeling old because they're switching it up on me.
- 36:38Speaker 3: What do you think about that?
- 36:39Speaker 1: By the way, the money, well, like all of it.
- 36:41Speaker 2: It's like the camera's changed. They have this like all
- 36:43Speaker 2: the slow most stuff. The intro like yeah, had its
- 36:47Speaker 2: thing for so long and it was not just like
- 36:49Speaker 2: a gradual shift.
- 36:51Speaker 3: It was this like new location, Yeah, new I think.
- 36:55Speaker 2: Director, Yeah yeah, but what do you think of someone
- 36:59Speaker 2: who watch the show?
- 37:01Speaker 1: Oh?
- 37:02Speaker 4: You know, how do I say this? Because I love it.
- 37:07Speaker 4: I'm just sick to my stomach. I came in with
- 37:09Speaker 4: an umbrella, that is what I think. I'm like, I
- 37:13Speaker 4: was so here for the rebrand, like I am a
- 37:16Speaker 4: wedding videographer.
- 37:17Speaker 1: I love slow motion. I love a drone shot. Like
- 37:20Speaker 1: I was out on the Seado making hearts with Jeremy.
- 37:23Speaker 4: I was like, you start here, I'll start there, Like
- 37:24Speaker 4: let's make a heart for the drone, Like I was like, so,
- 37:27Speaker 4: I'm like, I love this so to come in with
- 37:30Speaker 4: my the way I came in. I'm sorry if you
- 37:32Speaker 4: guys are sick of hearing about it, because I literally
- 37:35Speaker 4: was like so bombed, and then watching it back, I
- 37:37Speaker 4: was like, I wasn't even in slow motion with the umbrella.
- 37:40Speaker 4: I was just in twenty four frames per second or
- 37:42Speaker 4: whatever they shoot in thirty maybe I don't know, And
- 37:44Speaker 4: I was like, this is just so sad for me.
- 37:47Speaker 4: So I actually love the cinematography of it. I'm like,
- 37:49Speaker 4: I love the rebrand. And I haven't been a Bachelor
- 37:52Speaker 4: fan for so long, like I started watching like when
- 37:55Speaker 4: they first contacted me, which was a couple of years
- 37:57Speaker 4: before I went on, And so I don't have this
- 38:00Speaker 4: like emotional connection to the old like way that they shoot.
- 38:04Speaker 4: And I think that I've been saying, I'm like, they
- 38:07Speaker 4: need a rebrand, they need a rebrand, they need a rebrand,
- 38:09Speaker 4: and now they did it, and I'm like, I love it.
- 38:11Speaker 1: It's a little blue, like the tint is a little
- 38:14Speaker 1: it's a little blue.
- 38:16Speaker 4: But also like maybe that's a psychology hack because people
- 38:19Speaker 4: love the color blue. It makes you like gravitate towards things.
- 38:22Speaker 4: Maybe they're like, shoot, they're like, I don't feel election.
- 38:25Speaker 4: I'm not feeling the blue. No, I just I don't like.
- 38:27Speaker 1: No.
- 38:27Speaker 2: I love I like the I think the cinematography of
- 38:32Speaker 2: it is cool, Like I think they really upgraded big time.
- 38:35Speaker 2: I kind of missed the old spot like I miss
- 38:39Speaker 2: and I kind of miss them all like dying of
- 38:41Speaker 2: like heat and like bugs and stuff like there was
- 38:43Speaker 2: something nitty and gritty about it. Yeah, but the coloring.
- 38:48Speaker 3: I texted Susie.
- 38:49Speaker 2: I was like, Susie's the only one who has escaped
- 38:52Speaker 2: this weird tint, Like you look so beautiful and everyone
- 38:55Speaker 2: looks great, but I'm like the camera's almost like not
- 38:59Speaker 2: doing them justice.
- 39:00Speaker 1: You know what. It's probably because my spray tanta was
- 39:02Speaker 1: so orange.
- 39:03Speaker 4: That the blue like contract con Yeah, it like brought
- 39:06Speaker 4: me back to a normal shade because I remember at
- 39:08Speaker 4: one point seeing my leg next to Jeremy's on.
- 39:10Speaker 2: The very pinky he looked.
- 39:12Speaker 4: But I will tell you in real life, I looked orange.
- 39:16Speaker 4: I looked like a cheeto out there, And I was like,
- 39:19Speaker 4: I know, because I didn't have enough time to prep
- 39:21Speaker 4: my spray tanks, I didn't know I was going in
- 39:22Speaker 4: until the day up, so I was just putting on
- 39:24Speaker 4: like everything, marinating and like, so that was it probably
- 39:27Speaker 4: did me a favor because I was marinated like a cheeto.
- 39:30Speaker 3: They they didn't let you know, but you hacked the system.
- 39:33Speaker 1: I hacked and nobody knew it at the time.
- 39:35Speaker 2: You know, I did it. I was like, well, Susie
- 39:38Speaker 2: has whatever hurt you routine is?
- 39:41Speaker 3: She beat the camera?
- 39:43Speaker 1: Wow, thank you?
- 39:44Speaker 4: And maybe that's why I got sent home though, because
- 39:45Speaker 4: in person they were like, who is this cheeto coming down?
- 39:49Speaker 2: Here?
- 39:49Speaker 3: This cheeto in the rain?
- 39:53Speaker 1: Production assistant coming down?
- 39:56Speaker 2: You know, they could have done something so cool with
- 39:58Speaker 2: the rain, like if they but you would have had
- 40:00Speaker 2: to like go of the umbrella and let yourself get drenched,
- 40:02Speaker 2: but like the slow move of the rain and you
- 40:04Speaker 2: being like not the villain walking in but the stirring things.
- 40:09Speaker 1: Yeah, that would have been great. I would have done it.
- 40:12Speaker 3: Maybe you should film that, Yeah, I thought about it.
- 40:15Speaker 2: I have a hose.
- 40:16Speaker 1: Oh oh my god, I'll come over.
- 40:18Speaker 2: Yeah, just bring your outfit.
- 40:19Speaker 1: Love.
- 40:20Speaker 4: I really was like trying to think of like funny
- 40:22Speaker 4: things because I knew it was going to be bad
- 40:23Speaker 4: for me. So I was like, what are some funny
- 40:25Speaker 4: things I can do? So I did, Like I loved it.
- 40:27Speaker 4: Things I was thinking about, like getting back in the
- 40:29Speaker 4: outfit and just like putting like sopping wet hair and
- 40:32Speaker 4: then like shooting like a fake im as if I
- 40:35Speaker 4: like just got drenched from the water.
- 40:37Speaker 2: So you could. There's so much you could do with it.
- 40:39Speaker 2: There's a lot to work with. Yeah, did you get
- 40:42Speaker 2: to see Hannah Brown at all?
- 40:44Speaker 1: Yes? Oh you did, but like a hot minute she was.
- 40:46Speaker 1: It's my first time meeting her. She was so nice.
- 40:48Speaker 2: Wait what why do I feel like y'all would be
- 40:50Speaker 2: a best friends?
- 40:52Speaker 1: Maybe we would. I mean she was great.
- 40:54Speaker 4: I literally talked to her for like probably ten minutes
- 40:57Speaker 4: before the Rose simony, and I was like, I'm going home,
- 40:59Speaker 4: but like, it was so nice to meet you.
- 41:01Speaker 1: Like let's chit chats, like tell me about your life.
- 41:03Speaker 3: She just got married.
- 41:04Speaker 1: I know, she looked so good done.
- 41:08Speaker 2: The whole thing looked just like magical.
- 41:11Speaker 1: It really did.
- 41:11Speaker 3: I was so impressed with her social media me too.
- 41:15Speaker 2: Someone she must have had someone just on site getting
- 41:18Speaker 2: it up.
- 41:19Speaker 4: I think, so, which is like so brilliant when you
- 41:21Speaker 4: think if you're a content creator, like so smart to
- 41:24Speaker 4: have an in person, like social media person, not the photographer,
- 41:29Speaker 4: but like somebody who's doing like tiktokuff, yeah, behind the scenes.
- 41:33Speaker 1: Like and it's just nice to have that.
- 41:34Speaker 4: Like when I was kind of finishing out my wedding
- 41:37Speaker 4: videography career, people were starting to bring in people for
- 41:40Speaker 4: like a couple hundred bucks a day just to like
- 41:42Speaker 4: film bts of their day on their phone because it
- 41:44Speaker 4: takes usually like weeks or months for photographers videographers to
- 41:47Speaker 4: get the video back, so it's nice to have like
- 41:49Speaker 4: immediate content.
- 41:50Speaker 2: Well that's what Tanya was saying that after she had
- 41:53Speaker 2: a social media person, Ashley there and she Tanya was saying,
- 41:57Speaker 2: at the end of the night, the whole time we
- 41:59Speaker 2: were there, after the rehearsal dinner, they went through and
- 42:01Speaker 2: got to watch all the videos and because she was like,
- 42:04Speaker 2: we weren't able to sleep before the wedding, so it
- 42:06Speaker 2: was like fun to just go through the videos and
- 42:08Speaker 2: then have everything instantly there, not even to have content,
- 42:12Speaker 2: but mostly memories to have instantly because it's true, it's
- 42:16Speaker 2: such a whirlwind that you know, but I think people
- 42:19Speaker 2: see content and they're like, how are you not present
- 42:21Speaker 2: or in the moment. It's it's like you're not having
- 42:24Speaker 2: to be if you hire someone.
- 42:25Speaker 1: Literally, I saw.
- 42:26Speaker 4: Somebody say something like in her comment section that was
- 42:28Speaker 4: like were you even like paying, like were you even
- 42:31Speaker 4: like a present or whatever? And I wanted to write
- 42:33Speaker 4: back and be like, she probably was so present, like
- 42:35Speaker 4: probably more so than a normal bride news not hired
- 42:39Speaker 4: someone to do her social media.
- 42:40Speaker 1: I'm like, she probably like didn't.
- 42:42Speaker 4: Have to worry about anything, like when it comes to content, like, so,
- 42:46Speaker 4: I think it's so smart even if you're not a
- 42:49Speaker 4: content creator, just for the memes's I agree.
- 42:51Speaker 2: Yeah, do you have vision? Okay, so you've done so
- 42:54Speaker 2: many weddings, have you been to a certain place or
- 42:57Speaker 2: venue or like like a destination where you go this
- 43:02Speaker 2: is my dream?
- 43:05Speaker 1: You know what? I that's a great question.
- 43:10Speaker 2: You like beach.
- 43:11Speaker 3: I love I love a beat.
- 43:13Speaker 4: I feel like anything like natury, so like I'm such
- 43:15Speaker 4: a beach person that I would so be down for
- 43:17Speaker 4: a beach wedding. I feel like for years I was like,
- 43:19Speaker 4: oh I want a beach wedding and like no shoes.
- 43:20Speaker 4: I'm also like pretty tall, so I'm like if I
- 43:22Speaker 4: marry a short guy, like works out in my favor.
- 43:25Speaker 1: You know, I can just like bury my feet in
- 43:26Speaker 1: the sand.
- 43:26Speaker 2: For all the picture.
- 43:27Speaker 3: You can bear him as well as you need.
- 43:28Speaker 4: Literally, it's kind of genius. So maybe I'll keep that
- 43:32Speaker 4: plan going. But I'm also I would so be down
- 43:36Speaker 4: for like an elopement and then like a big party. Yes,
- 43:38Speaker 4: I feel like as a wedding videographer, I love weddings.
- 43:42Speaker 4: I love love, but I'm also like people go into
- 43:44Speaker 4: debt or like they don't they can't buy a house
- 43:47Speaker 4: because they're like spending so much money on the wedding.
- 43:50Speaker 1: And I get it, like we all dream about a wedding.
- 43:52Speaker 4: Day, but I'm also like, set yourself up, you know,
- 43:55Speaker 4: like if it's just a if it's an elopement, get
- 43:57Speaker 4: like a photographer, you're maybe your best friends or whatever,
- 44:00Speaker 4: but just like do it for you and then.
- 44:02Speaker 1: Have like a big party to celebrate.
- 44:04Speaker 3: I know.
- 44:04Speaker 2: I've talked to Haley about that because we I'm like,
- 44:08Speaker 2: I don't I want us to have our dream wedding
- 44:11Speaker 2: when we're able to do it without any like to
- 44:17Speaker 2: overthink things. So but we've talked about the elopement and
- 44:21Speaker 2: then a party. But then, like we've been to so
- 44:23Speaker 2: many fun weddings recently, like wedding weekends where we're like, wow,
- 44:26Speaker 2: it's so nice to have everyone yeah together. Yeah, So
- 44:30Speaker 2: we've gone back and forth, But do you have any
- 44:33Speaker 2: dues and don'ts for brides as a video as a former,
- 44:36Speaker 2: are you still doing weddings? No?
- 44:38Speaker 4: I would only do them if like a friend needed
- 44:40Speaker 4: somebody to But do's and don'ts, I feel like the
- 44:45Speaker 4: best thing you can do. I think like a really
- 44:47Speaker 4: great coordinator is probably the best thing you can do
- 44:51Speaker 4: as somebody who's gonna.
- 44:52Speaker 2: Like like a wedding planner or a wedding yet, like a.
- 44:54Speaker 4: Wedding planner who would also be there on site like yah,
- 44:56Speaker 4: knows everything and not a free to run the show.
- 45:01Speaker 1: Like I would never be good at that job, but
- 45:05Speaker 1: like I would just I would actually make your day worse,
- 45:08Speaker 1: you know, I.
- 45:08Speaker 2: Would be the most stressful part of your day unfortunately.
- 45:12Speaker 3: Literally, where's Becca? She's catering okay, Yeah.
- 45:15Speaker 1: And she has no idea what time it is or
- 45:17Speaker 1: what time the wedding starts.
- 45:18Speaker 2: Yeah, and she was late, so that would literally be me.
- 45:22Speaker 1: So I am not the right person for that job.
- 45:24Speaker 4: But I think I've seen weddings done often where they're
- 45:27Speaker 4: they don't have a coordinator and the bride is so
- 45:31Speaker 4: stressed and I feel so bad because I'm like, you
- 45:32Speaker 4: spent so much money and you really aren't enjoying the day.
- 45:35Speaker 4: But if you hire someone or if you have a
- 45:38Speaker 4: family friend, I've seen family friends be like someone's cousin
- 45:41Speaker 4: and they're like I just love them so much, like
- 45:42Speaker 4: I'm coordinating their day, and I'm like, that is such
- 45:46Speaker 4: an asset and it just a good coordinator or planner.
- 45:50Speaker 1: I think that's the number one tip I would give.
- 45:53Speaker 2: That's a good one. I agree. I think that's everything.
- 45:55Speaker 2: It's everything florals and your wedding planner.
- 45:59Speaker 1: Yeah, that's so true.
- 46:00Speaker 3: And your music.
- 46:01Speaker 4: And your music? Yeah, are you doing like a DJ
- 46:04Speaker 4: in trusting or a band or do you want to
- 46:06Speaker 4: a playlist?
- 46:07Speaker 5: Say?
- 46:07Speaker 2: Because like a really good live band is so fun,
- 46:10Speaker 2: but if they're not good, it's tough.
- 46:14Speaker 1: It could be a miss.
- 46:14Speaker 2: The DJ hits every time, Well, I guess if it's
- 46:17Speaker 2: not a good DJ though, that's true. But everyone I've.
- 46:20Speaker 3: Been too, there's been a really good DJ.
- 46:22Speaker 2: And when the DJ comes on when the band's taking
- 46:25Speaker 2: a break, fun.
- 46:26Speaker 4: I yeah, I do think a live band is kind
- 46:30Speaker 4: of iconic, and then you kind of get the best
- 46:31Speaker 4: of both because yeah, they take breaks, you have to yeah, yeah,
- 46:34Speaker 4: and then you could curate your playlist for in between
- 46:36Speaker 4: the band.
- 46:37Speaker 2: I like that, you think I could curry my own
- 46:39Speaker 2: DJ playlist. There's something about the transitions of songs that
- 46:42Speaker 2: gets everyone up and you here's the thing. You gotta
- 46:46Speaker 2: have space where people can sit down and not feel
- 46:49Speaker 2: like they're missing out.
- 46:50Speaker 1: Yeah, but you also got to.
- 46:52Speaker 2: Have enough songs that people aren't choosing to sit down, right,
- 46:55Speaker 2: because there's some songs where you're like, I gotta be
- 46:57Speaker 2: a part of this, or if.
- 46:58Speaker 4: You're like in the bathroom when you hear like yeah
- 47:00Speaker 4: by Usher, come on, you're not washing your hands. You're
- 47:03Speaker 4: running to the dance floor, like I gotta get every
- 47:05Speaker 4: minute of this song.
- 47:06Speaker 2: I hear it over now by Taylor stuff but just
- 47:09Speaker 2: not necessarily a wedding song, but it was me. Tanya
- 47:12Speaker 2: and Sophia had like a moment so on her bachelorette
- 47:15Speaker 2: and so I was running down the stairs, like sprinting
- 47:18Speaker 2: to the dance floor.
- 47:20Speaker 4: Yeah, you gotta have the bamers that get people back
- 47:22Speaker 4: out there, you know, like you can't sit for too long.
- 47:24Speaker 3: No, okay, So dating life, you're single.
- 47:42Speaker 6: Single, mingling, not mingling, not mingling, healing, I think, yeah,
- 47:47Speaker 6: I think I'm just like, yeah, I'm just focusing on
- 47:52Speaker 6: my mental health and my and honestly, like, I'm gonna
- 47:55Speaker 6: get my.
- 47:56Speaker 4: Eggs frison in the next two months. I'm looking at
- 47:59Speaker 4: the calendar right now. I think it'll be in two months.
- 48:02Speaker 2: We talk about that. Yeah, what was like, I have
- 48:07Speaker 2: gone so back and forth on doing it, and I
- 48:10Speaker 2: didn't know was it something that you've thought about for
- 48:12Speaker 2: a long time and you finally were just like it's time.
- 48:15Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 48:16Speaker 4: So I remember when Clayton and I broke up, or
- 48:19Speaker 4: we were kind of like talking about breaking up and
- 48:21Speaker 4: we were like going through that. I was twenty seven
- 48:23Speaker 4: when I went on the show, so it's probably around
- 48:24Speaker 4: twenty eight, which is crazy because I'll be thirty two
- 48:26Speaker 4: next month. I'm like, that's it blows my mind that
- 48:29Speaker 4: that much time has passed.
- 48:30Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 48:30Speaker 1: But as we were like in the talks.
- 48:32Speaker 4: Of like potentially breaking up, I remember saying to a friend,
- 48:36Speaker 4: I was like, if we do break up, I'm getting
- 48:39Speaker 4: my eggs frozen because I feel this like pressure of like,
- 48:42Speaker 4: oh gosh, I'm twenty eight starting over again, and like
- 48:46Speaker 4: it just feels like a bit daunting.
- 48:48Speaker 1: And I didn't get them frozen.
- 48:51Speaker 4: And then then like the next year, I met Justin
- 48:54Speaker 4: and I was like, okay, I'm I'm safe again. I'm like, Okay,
- 48:58Speaker 4: the trajectory, you know, will be in other five years.
- 49:00Speaker 4: I'm like, okay, I'll be like thirty four, thirty five
- 49:02Speaker 4: or whatever. And then we didn't work out, and so
- 49:05Speaker 4: it's kind of been this thing of like, Okay, if
- 49:07Speaker 4: I if we don't work out, then like I'll get.
- 49:08Speaker 1: Them frozen then or then. And I'm so lucky.
- 49:12Speaker 4: But my cousin is opening up a clinic in Chicago
- 49:15Speaker 4: with a friend who's a doctor, so she's worked in
- 49:18Speaker 4: the industry for like fifteen years, and so I'm gonna
- 49:21Speaker 4: They're gonna do it in an.
- 49:22Speaker 1: Exchange for me. It's amazing, amazing.
- 49:25Speaker 4: Yeah, and really because it's so expensive and my insurance
- 49:27Speaker 4: doesn't cover it, so I yeah, I feel super super
- 49:32Speaker 4: lucky and like hopefully it'll be mutually beneficial for them
- 49:35Speaker 4: as well opening a new clinic.
- 49:37Speaker 1: But but yeah, it's like very.
- 49:41Speaker 4: Like it has been very emotional for me because like
- 49:43Speaker 4: I think when I was younger, I didn't even think
- 49:45Speaker 4: about kids, and I was like, I don't know, Like
- 49:47Speaker 4: I was like maybe like maybe, like I didn't grow
- 49:50Speaker 4: up with like tons of little cousins, like I was
- 49:52Speaker 4: the little cousin, and I was always career focused and
- 49:55Speaker 4: I was never like dreamt about my wedding. I just
- 49:58Speaker 4: was like it'll all happened, Like I didn't even think
- 50:02Speaker 4: to worry about it, Like I just figured life would
- 50:04Speaker 4: like fall into place. And now I'm like coming up
- 50:07Speaker 4: on thirty two, and I'm like nothing has fallen into place,
- 50:09Speaker 4: like I need to come up with a plan. And
- 50:12Speaker 4: then I find myself like needing to make these decisions
- 50:16Speaker 4: in whether it's in relationships or out of relationships, where
- 50:18Speaker 4: I'm like I need to figure this out right now.
- 50:21Speaker 4: And like anyone that I've talked to that's frozen their
- 50:23Speaker 4: eggs are like, just do it, because that like constant
- 50:26Speaker 4: noise goes away when you get the eggs frozen, and
- 50:30Speaker 4: then you're not making decisions based on like a timeline.
- 50:33Speaker 4: You're making decisions that make sense for right you know
- 50:36Speaker 4: what you really want.
- 50:37Speaker 3: Yeah, I it's interesting because you're thirty two, you said.
- 50:41Speaker 2: In a month, Yeah, so I feel like all my friends.
- 50:45Speaker 2: Obviously I'm thirty six, so all my friends are in
- 50:47Speaker 2: my age range, and so many of them who also
- 50:50Speaker 2: had this expectation of like I'll be married with kids
- 50:53Speaker 2: by a certain age, like got married, you know, within
- 50:57Speaker 2: the last few years and are starting to have the
- 51:00Speaker 2: process of getting pregnant. My other best friend just had
- 51:04Speaker 2: her baby and she's thirty seven, and it's like, it
- 51:07Speaker 2: is this weird thing because the society is like, you
- 51:10Speaker 2: don't have time, you don't have time. But I do
- 51:13Speaker 2: think taking control of but also taking control of what
- 51:17Speaker 2: you're able to do to put your mind to ease
- 51:18Speaker 2: so that you're not making your moves based on those decisions,
- 51:22Speaker 2: because you don't want to settle for someone based on
- 51:25Speaker 2: the timeline that you've created for yourself. Yeah, when you
- 51:29Speaker 2: could just freeze your eggs and have that security of
- 51:32Speaker 2: knowing you did that and then be able to find
- 51:35Speaker 2: the person that's not feel like you have to rush
- 51:37Speaker 2: your healing or being single or whatever. You know. So totally,
- 51:40Speaker 2: I think it's just I've always heard, you know, everyone's
- 51:43Speaker 2: just like just do it. Yeah, everyone, if you're thinking
- 51:45Speaker 2: about it, just do it.
- 51:46Speaker 1: Literally, that's what everyone says. Who's done it.
- 51:49Speaker 4: Yeah, And I just was on a girl's chip with
- 51:51Speaker 4: literally like thirteen girls I didn't know. Well, yeah, that's
- 51:54Speaker 4: very it was, and everybody was so amazing, and they
- 51:57Speaker 4: were all older and they were mostly mom but like
- 52:00Speaker 4: they were. The woman that really opened up and shared
- 52:03Speaker 4: with me was forty two and she just had twins
- 52:06Speaker 4: like a year ago, and she froze her eggs like
- 52:10Speaker 4: ten years prior and then tried to get pregnant for
- 52:12Speaker 4: like ten years, couldn't get pregnant, and this was like
- 52:15Speaker 4: their last attempt, and they were the eggs from ten
- 52:17Speaker 4: years earlier that she had frozen, I know. And so
- 52:21Speaker 4: which is like also a mind like screw when you
- 52:25Speaker 4: think about it and you're like, oh my gosh, this
- 52:26Speaker 4: these are babies that were like pulled out and fertilized
- 52:29Speaker 4: with her same.
- 52:30Speaker 1: Husband ten years ago. So they could be ten right now,
- 52:34Speaker 1: but they're one.
- 52:35Speaker 4: Yeah, And so yeah, I think it's like everybody that
- 52:39Speaker 4: I talked to says the same thing.
- 52:41Speaker 1: Just if you're thinking about it and you can.
- 52:43Speaker 4: Afford it, or if you can figure out or if
- 52:45Speaker 4: insurance covers it, just do it because it does give
- 52:48Speaker 4: you peace of mind. And I think that that has
- 52:51Speaker 4: been like an emotional part of like my breakup and
- 52:54Speaker 4: even going to Paradise, like and also, can I just
- 52:57Speaker 4: say people that have come online because Lexi talks about
- 53:00Speaker 4: her journey with freezing her eggs and like endometriosis and
- 53:03Speaker 4: stuff like that, I've seen some really nasty comments being
- 53:07Speaker 4: like if you're so you know, interested in like getting
- 53:10Speaker 4: married and having babies, where are you going on a
- 53:12Speaker 4: dating show?
- 53:12Speaker 1: Like you, guys, it's three weeks of our life.
- 53:15Speaker 4: If we've gone to thirty two and haven't met somebody,
- 53:17Speaker 4: you think three weeks are going to make that much
- 53:19Speaker 4: of a difference in finding the person you're gonna spend
- 53:22Speaker 4: your life with, Like, get out of my comment section.
- 53:25Speaker 2: Like so what if it works?
- 53:27Speaker 1: And what if it works exactly?
- 53:29Speaker 4: I'm like, yeah, you never, I mean I was hopeful,
- 53:31Speaker 4: Like yeah, I was hopeful that I would meet I
- 53:33Speaker 4: kept hearing about this older guy that they were bringing on.
- 53:36Speaker 1: I think it was Dale. They really talked him up
- 53:41Speaker 1: and I didn't met him. Yeah, three times I get
- 53:43Speaker 1: there and I was like, is this what you're talking about?
- 53:46Speaker 3: I met him and he doesn't remember me.
- 53:47Speaker 1: Yeah, so exactly. But he's he was lovely like, when
- 53:50Speaker 1: I met him, I was super nice. But you know,
- 53:52Speaker 1: for the fourth time, I was kidding. I'm just kidding.
- 53:55Speaker 1: He was nice all four times times he was pleasant.
- 53:58Speaker 4: So but yeah, I think that you you know, you go, yeah,
- 54:03Speaker 4: maybe it works, maybe you meet somebody, and if you don't,
- 54:05Speaker 4: it's like, Okay, it's three weeks, like and it's a
- 54:08Speaker 4: I think it's an amazing experience. Even the twenty four
- 54:11Speaker 4: hours I was there, I was like, this was lit.
- 54:13Speaker 4: I wish I could stay.
- 54:15Speaker 2: Imagine if you had gotten there first, I know the
- 54:18Speaker 2: party that you would have thrown for everybody.
- 54:20Speaker 4: I feel like Bachelination does not know the lore of
- 54:23Speaker 4: my wild side, you know, because I get edited into
- 54:25Speaker 4: a very like.
- 54:26Speaker 2: Your very southern.
- 54:28Speaker 1: That's what they think, maybe a little bit. But I'm like,
- 54:31Speaker 1: but also I can throw it down like I will
- 54:35Speaker 1: literally yeah, I won't even say it.
- 54:36Speaker 2: I'm like, if you had already been there and someone
- 54:38Speaker 2: came down in the rain with an umbrella, you would
- 54:41Speaker 2: have been ripping shots with them.
- 54:43Speaker 4: Literally, I would not let the party not start, you
- 54:48Speaker 4: know what I mean. I'm like, oh my god, they
- 54:49Speaker 4: sent her down an umbrella, Like I am shaking my
- 54:51Speaker 4: ass tonight, Like I am getting on the bar top like, yeah.
- 54:56Speaker 3: Well that was their mistake.
- 54:58Speaker 2: Thanks, and I'll remember for that for you and we'll
- 55:01Speaker 2: remember that, thanks guys. But I do hope that What
- 55:04Speaker 2: about what's this show where the Strongest Soldier or whatever
- 55:07Speaker 2: it's called where you go on and you're like, as
- 55:09Speaker 2: a soldier or marine.
- 55:11Speaker 1: Per special Forces, special Forces, you do that one thousand percent? Wow,
- 55:14Speaker 1: I would do it.
- 55:15Speaker 4: I really struggle in the cold, So I'd probably try
- 55:17Speaker 4: to get a prescription because I think I have ray
- 55:19Speaker 4: nods disease for oh, I think you know, like I'm
- 55:22Speaker 4: like your hands, Yes, I turn purple and stuff. So
- 55:25Speaker 4: I think there's this my doctor told me about this
- 55:27Speaker 4: blood pressure pill where like you can take it. So
- 55:29Speaker 4: I'm like, if I can get the blood pressure pill,
- 55:31Speaker 4: I will do it.
- 55:32Speaker 3: Yeah, let's do some testing before we put you in this.
- 55:36Speaker 1: I'm like talking a big game and then I'm like,
- 55:37Speaker 1: I'm actually going home. Nate one here too.
- 55:39Speaker 3: I think the sleep part would be the end of me.
- 55:43Speaker 2: I think that not sleeping in a comfortable cozy space
- 55:47Speaker 2: would be where I like succumb.
- 55:50Speaker 4: Yeah, oh you're a shower before bad girl, right, I
- 55:53Speaker 4: saw you post.
- 55:54Speaker 3: About that thousand, are you not?
- 55:56Speaker 1: No, I'm a dirty Yeah, I'd thrive.
- 55:59Speaker 4: I'd be like, no shower for a week, per I
- 56:02Speaker 4: take out the contestants by not wearing deodorant like I
- 56:04Speaker 4: would like, I'd be like I'm sending everyone home with
- 56:06Speaker 4: my body odor.
- 56:08Speaker 1: I'm joking.
- 56:08Speaker 2: I'm joking. I would shower.
- 56:10Speaker 3: I'm joking.
- 56:10Speaker 4: But like I would thrive in like a dirty environment.
- 56:13Speaker 4: I really think I would, Like, I really think I
- 56:16Speaker 4: would thrive. Like the bed thing doesn't bother.
- 56:18Speaker 2: Me, Like what about pooping those stalls?
- 56:21Speaker 1: Just knowing that you have to have a buddy would
- 56:23Speaker 1: would bother me with the pooping.
- 56:24Speaker 4: But like I'm also like constipated half the time, so
- 56:27Speaker 4: I'm like I probably wouldn't poop the whole time.
- 56:28Speaker 1: I'm there.
- 56:29Speaker 3: Who's your like celebrity crush?
- 56:31Speaker 1: Okay, very oh, this is gonna be like so on
- 56:34Speaker 1: brand very specifically, Like it's Jake Jillenhall in the movie
- 56:37Speaker 1: Everest when he's got like the long hair and he's
- 56:40Speaker 1: like like a mountain man.
- 56:42Speaker 3: I'm sorry, I'm a Taylor Swift fan.
- 56:44Speaker 1: So oh no, that's actually it's like specifically that movie character,
- 56:48Speaker 1: you know what I mean? Okay, Oh, way, you've got
- 56:51Speaker 1: an image like that right there, like sure, like I
- 56:57Speaker 1: know that's why I'm like, I feel like.
- 56:59Speaker 2: If there are someone who's not a character, okay.
- 57:03Speaker 1: Yes, okay, Joe Jonas always was like she has ranged,
- 57:08Speaker 1: she has range, And then Michael B. Jordan, I feel like,
- 57:10Speaker 1: oh that's everyone I know.
- 57:12Speaker 2: It's like, well, those are like the Jake Joenhill one
- 57:15Speaker 2: through me, but the other two are very standardly yes,
- 57:18Speaker 2: except yeah, okay, so Michael B.
- 57:20Speaker 3: Jordan is your poop buddy at.
- 57:22Speaker 1: No, I'm out, I'm tapping. I'm like, I will hold.
- 57:27Speaker 2: It, Okay, I will hold it. How strong you are?
- 57:30Speaker 1: No, oh my gosh, literally that would be like the
- 57:33Speaker 1: end of me. But like if you were there.
- 57:35Speaker 2: But what about Jake John Hall and Everest. He seems
