  Speaker 1: from the beginning is to, of this season at least,

  Speaker 1: for the morning devos, to take the book of John.

  Speaker 1: Each chapter, take some verses out, extract verses out of

  Speaker 1: the book of John. Amen? Because I've found myself lately

  Speaker 1: giving out the book of John's a lot. Amen. When

  Speaker 1: I meet people, when I'm witnessing the people and they
• 1:08
  Speaker 1: just are curious about the Lord Jesus Christ, I say, well,

  Speaker 1: I have a book of John and I gave it
• 1:12
  Speaker 1: to them in hopes that they would read it, right?
• 1:15
  Speaker 1: In hopes they would find out for themselves who the
• 1:17
  Speaker 1: Lord Jesus is and that the Lord Jesus will show
• 1:20
  Speaker 1: up in their lives in real time and show his love,
• 1:23
  Speaker 1: his grace and mercy upon them just as he showed
• 1:26
  Speaker 1: his love, grace and mercy upon me and so many
• 1:29
  Speaker 1: people that I know. So today, We're talking about your choice.

  Speaker 1: We're going to be in the book of John, chapter
• 1:35
  Speaker 1: number 3, verses 35 and 36. I'm calling this one,
• 1:39
  Speaker 1: Your Choice. Literally, it's your choice. It's my choice to
• 1:43
  Speaker 1: wake up daily and to make a choice for Jesus.

  Speaker 1: The Bible is clear. We're going to read a scripture
• 1:49
  Speaker 1: that's two scriptures that are very clear, two verses of scripture.

  Speaker 1: Let's pray first. After we pray, we'll just get right
• 1:56
  Speaker 1: into our morning devo. If you want to share this

  Speaker 1: out to your friends, families, even your foes, your frenemies,

  Speaker 1: however the case may be, let's show love towards one

  Speaker 1: another and show that God is no respect of persons,

  Speaker 1: first and foremost, and he's available for me and for

  Speaker 1: you to just do a great miraculous work in our
• 2:16
  Speaker 1: hearts and our minds. Amen. Let's go forward. Let's pray.

  Speaker 1: After we pray, like I said, we'll get right into

  Speaker 1: this morning Devo. Father, in the name of Jesus, I
• 2:24
  Speaker 1: thank you so much for your evidence of who you are,
• 2:27
  Speaker 1: what you're doing in my life and the lives of
• 2:29
  Speaker 1: so many people. Thank you, Lord God, for the opportunity
• 2:32
  Speaker 1: to be here and to be a part of what
• 2:36
  Speaker 1: you're doing in the kingdom of God, in my region
• 2:39
  Speaker 1: and beyond. Thank you, Lord God, for satisfying our every desire.

  Speaker 1: Thank you, Lord God, for your hedge of protection that
• 2:46
  Speaker 1: no weapon formed against us shall prosper. Your hedge of protection,
• 2:49
  Speaker 1: I set forth by your name, by your authority, in
• 2:52
  Speaker 1: the name of Yeshua HaMashiach, I set forth our queen
• 2:55
  Speaker 1: angels to annihilate the tactic of every single enemy of
• 2:58
  Speaker 1: our lives. I pray that far from victory, knowing that
• 3:01
  Speaker 1: you are able and you are willing to do exactly that,

  Speaker 1: to guard God and protect us in this dark, evil world,

  Speaker 1: that we will shine your light, the blazing light of
• 3:10
  Speaker 1: Christ daily, no matter what we're doing, no matter where

  Speaker 1: we're going, no matter what we say, we will give
• 3:16
  Speaker 1: you glory, honor, worship, and praise because we know at
• 3:19
  Speaker 1: the end of the day that you are our Lord
• 3:22
  Speaker 1: and our Savior in whom we trust more than money,

  Speaker 1: more than fame, more than influence more than these social
• 3:30
  Speaker 1: media platforms, more than this ministry. It's you, Lord God,
• 3:34
  Speaker 1: the Messiah of our lives that we put our hope, faith,
• 3:37
  Speaker 1: and trust in. So show us your word, show us
• 3:39
  Speaker 1: your glory, and have your way in this morning, Devo.

  Speaker 1: In the name of Jesus, I pray this by faith

  Speaker 1: and all those who agree, we say amen to the amen.

  Speaker 1: So this is what we have. We're going to be
• 3:51
  Speaker 1: in the book of John, chapter number three, verses 35
• 3:54
  Speaker 1: and 36. Let's just jump right into it so we
• 3:57
  Speaker 1: could get going. Today on the Morning Devo. Let's go.

  Speaker 1: And here's the scripture. That I've read. And I'm like wow.
• 4:07
  Speaker 1: It can't be more plain. The way Jesus shows up here.
• 4:12
  Speaker 1: John chapter 3 verses 35 and 36. The father loves
• 4:17
  Speaker 1: the son. And has placed all things in his hands.
• 4:23
  Speaker 1: Repeat that. All things in his hands. Whoever believes in
• 4:27
  Speaker 1: the son. has eternal life. Whoever rejects the Son will
• 4:33
  Speaker 1: not see life. Instead, the only other option, instead, the
• 4:39
  Speaker 1: wrath of God remains on him. And I know it's morning,
• 4:45
  Speaker 1: it's early. You might be with me live. You might
• 4:48
  Speaker 1: be listening to this later on. You might be listening
• 4:51
  Speaker 1: to this a month later from the time I recorded this.

  Speaker 1: But this is sobering. This will really have you like
• 4:59
  Speaker 1: thinking about, wow, does the Bible really say this? That

  Speaker 1: it's about our choice? Yes, it's a choice. The father
• 5:08
  Speaker 1: loves his son and has placed all things in his hands.
• 5:12
  Speaker 1: It doesn't say the father created the son. It doesn't
• 5:15
  Speaker 1: say the father birthed the son. It doesn't say the
• 5:18
  Speaker 1: father has a stepson. It says the father loves the son,
• 5:24
  Speaker 1: the son, and has placed all things in his hands.
• 5:27
  Speaker 1: And who's the son And who has all authority and
• 5:30
  Speaker 1: power placed in his hand? You got it? The Lord Jesus.
• 5:34
  Speaker 1: The Lord Jesus. This should be no debate, no arguing
• 5:38
  Speaker 1: back and forth with people that say otherwise. We know
• 5:41
  Speaker 1: who we are in Christ. Christ knows who he is
• 5:45
  Speaker 1: in us, right? There's no discrepancy. There's no, what do
• 5:51
  Speaker 1: you say that word? Discrepancy. There's no contradiction. There's no
• 5:56
  Speaker 1: double-mindedness in the word of God. It's your choice. It's
• 6:01
  Speaker 1: my choice. Right? So every day we make choices. It's
• 6:06
  Speaker 1: absolutely true. We make choices. Some people are making bad choices.
• 6:12
  Speaker 1: Some people are making good choices. But the most important
• 6:15
  Speaker 1: choice I think we should be making is the choice
• 6:18
  Speaker 1: of whom we're going to follow. Are we going to
• 6:21
  Speaker 1: follow the flesh? Or are we going to follow our
• 6:24
  Speaker 1: faith in the Lord Jesus Christ? Are we going to
• 6:26
  Speaker 1: follow our temptation? or we're going to follow the one
• 6:30
  Speaker 1: who gives us a way to escape from those temptations,
• 6:34
  Speaker 1: the Lord Jesus. Every day we make choices. We choose
• 6:40
  Speaker 1: what we eat. Like yesterday, I had the blessing of
• 6:45
  Speaker 1: going to a place where I really hardly don't go,
• 6:47
  Speaker 1: but I was literally right next to it. I said,
• 6:49
  Speaker 1: let me go try it out, and I'm glad I did.
• 6:51
  Speaker 1: I had a great lunch, and it was good. So
• 6:55
  Speaker 1: I chose that, and God blessed me with the finances,
• 6:58
  Speaker 1: to choose that restaurant that I was at. So we
• 7:02
  Speaker 1: choose what we eat. We choose where we go. We
• 7:05
  Speaker 1: choose where we go, right? Some people have no choice.
• 7:08
  Speaker 1: Some people are in lockdown right now. Some people are incarcerated,
• 7:12
  Speaker 1: in prison. So they really don't have a choice. But
• 7:16
  Speaker 1: before they got incarcerated, for the most part, I'm not
• 7:19
  Speaker 1: saying everybody, I don't know everybody, I don't know every situation,
• 7:22
  Speaker 1: but for the most part, if you find yourself imprisoned,
• 7:26
  Speaker 1: there might've been some choices that were made beforehand. Excluding
• 7:30
  Speaker 1: those who were framed, excluding those who are unlawfully put
• 7:34
  Speaker 1: in prison, I pray for you, I pray justice over
• 7:37
  Speaker 1: you in the name of Jesus. I'm talking about people
• 7:39
  Speaker 1: who made decisions based on what they felt like doing
• 7:43
  Speaker 1: or their situation took over their decision making. They find
• 7:48
  Speaker 1: themselves without freedom right now. We choose who we listen to. Like,
• 7:54
  Speaker 1: praise God, you're listening, you're watching, what we're doing here
• 7:58
  Speaker 1: on the network, what we're doing in the ministry, praise
• 8:00
  Speaker 1: the Lord. But that's the choice you made. There's no way,
• 8:03
  Speaker 1: I mean, I wish I could jump out of the
• 8:06
  Speaker 1: screen and hug you right now and say, listen, this
• 8:10
  Speaker 1: is the best thing you should be doing. Going to
• 8:12
  Speaker 1: the Word of God, waking up early, and going to
• 8:16
  Speaker 1: the Word of God first thing before your day starts.
• 8:19
  Speaker 1: I wish I could just jump out of the screen.
• 8:20
  Speaker 1: I guess tech, sooner or later, they're going to have
• 8:23
  Speaker 1: the technology to make it seem like some people are
• 8:25
  Speaker 1: coming out of the screen and into your home. We
• 8:29
  Speaker 1: choose what we listen to, and most importantly, we choose
• 8:33
  Speaker 1: what we will do with the Lord Jesus. What are
• 8:37
  Speaker 1: you gonna do with our Lord? What are you gonna
• 8:39
  Speaker 1: do with Jesus? He's the hottest topic ever. Every single day,
• 8:45
  Speaker 1: someone is talking about the Lord Jesus Christ, whether in
• 8:49
  Speaker 1: a positive or negative way. I personally never met a
• 8:54
  Speaker 1: person that hated Jesus. I've met a lot of people
• 8:58
  Speaker 1: that don't like Christianity. I've met a lot of people
• 9:01
  Speaker 1: who have been church hurt by the Christian church. I've
• 9:04
  Speaker 1: met a lot of people who don't understand the deity
• 9:07
  Speaker 1: of the Lord Jesus Christ. But I've never heard, in
• 9:10
  Speaker 1: my experience at least, maybe you had a different experience,
• 9:12
  Speaker 1: but in my experience, I've never heard of a person
• 9:16
  Speaker 1: that hated Jesus. Or I've never heard a person that
• 9:19
  Speaker 1: read about the life of Jesus and says, oh man,
• 9:22
  Speaker 1: that's horrible. Never. But we choose what we will do
• 9:27
  Speaker 1: with the Lord Jesus. So that means, according to the scripture,
• 9:32
  Speaker 1: John 3, verses 35 and 36, what it means to
• 9:35
  Speaker 1: me is that salvation, right, being saved, isn't something we earn.
• 9:41
  Speaker 1: It's not something that I can say, okay, I checked
• 9:44
  Speaker 1: this off, I did that, I did that, so now
• 9:46
  Speaker 1: I'm good with God. It's not something you earn. It's
• 9:49
  Speaker 1: something that was done for us already, right? It's a gift.
• 9:56
  Speaker 1: that calls for a response. God has given us his
• 10:00
  Speaker 1: very best. Now we have to respond to that very best.
• 10:03
  Speaker 1: Either put our faith, hope, and trust in him or
• 10:06
  Speaker 1: we reject him. So the Bible, right, we just read it,
• 10:09
  Speaker 1: that if you, right, place your belief and trust in
• 10:16
  Speaker 1: the one who promises eternal life, by the way, only
• 10:19
  Speaker 1: God could give eternal life. That's number one. If you
• 10:24
  Speaker 1: believe in the one who has all things in his
• 10:27
  Speaker 1: hands and has the power to give you eternal life,
• 10:31
  Speaker 1: the Bible says, you're on your way, right? You're on
• 10:35
  Speaker 1: your way. But if you reject the son, we will
• 10:41
  Speaker 1: not see life, right? Like life the way he intended,
• 10:46
  Speaker 1: the life that's in abundance. Instead, the wrath of God,
• 10:52
  Speaker 1: which I don't have enough time to explain what the
• 10:55
  Speaker 1: wrath of God is, but just put it like this.
• 10:57
  Speaker 1: It's the absence of anything good in your life and
• 11:02
  Speaker 1: the destruction of your soul will be still placed upon
• 11:06
  Speaker 1: us if we reject the Lord Jesus Christ. So the
• 11:10
  Speaker 1: wrath of God remains on you and on me if
• 11:14
  Speaker 1: we reject the one who has eternal life. Some people
• 11:18
  Speaker 1: might be saying that's not fair. I thought we had
• 11:20
  Speaker 1: free will. You absolutely have free will. The name of
• 11:24
  Speaker 1: this morning Devo is your choice. You make that choice.
• 11:28
  Speaker 1: But we serve a God who doesn't force himself upon us.
• 11:32
  Speaker 1: We serve a God who doesn't just go past our
• 11:37
  Speaker 1: will and emotions and just say, you have to do
• 11:40
  Speaker 1: this and you have to do that. Find me a
• 11:42
  Speaker 1: scripture where God himself, through the Lord Jesus Christ, by
• 11:46
  Speaker 1: way of Holy Spirit, forces anybody, serve him ultimately the
• 11:51
  Speaker 1: Bible says every knee will bow and every tongue will
• 11:55
  Speaker 1: confess that Jesus is Lord that's just because the truth
• 11:59
  Speaker 1: of God the gospel truth stands for all eternity so
• 12:04
  Speaker 1: whether you believe or not whether you believe now you're
• 12:07
  Speaker 1: definitely going to understand later on but if you reject
• 12:11
  Speaker 1: the Lord Jesus Christ the wrath of God will be
• 12:14
  Speaker 1: upon you that's a sobering scripture something that I don't
• 12:17
  Speaker 1: even want to investigate. I don't want to investigate the
• 12:20
  Speaker 1: wrath of God, right? I have enough issues in life.
• 12:25
  Speaker 1: You have enough issues in life. Why would we want
• 12:28
  Speaker 1: to gamble our whole eternity just because we feel a
• 12:32
  Speaker 1: certain way, just because we don't believe in the one
• 12:35
  Speaker 1: who gives eternal life, and then we choose something that
• 12:40
  Speaker 1: we think is better or someone to follow that we
• 12:43
  Speaker 1: think is better than the Lord Jesus Christ? I don't
• 12:45
  Speaker 1: want to make that type of, experimentation. I don't want
• 12:48
  Speaker 1: to make that type of choice because it seems to
• 12:51
  Speaker 1: me that the choice we make for or against Jesus
• 12:56
  Speaker 1: is an eternal decision. But thank God for his mercy.

  Speaker 1: Thank God for his grace. He gives us a way
• 13:04
  Speaker 1: out and a way in, a way out of our
• 13:07
  Speaker 1: sin and trespasses and our own evil desires. He gives
• 13:11
  Speaker 1: us a way out and he gives us a way
• 13:13
  Speaker 1: in to his kingdom, which is the kingdom of God.
• 13:16
  Speaker 1: Salvation isn't something we earn by doing good things or
• 13:20
  Speaker 1: being good enough. Salvation is a gift that calls for
• 13:25
  Speaker 1: a response. The question is, will you believe? It's not
• 13:29
  Speaker 1: that you can't believe. I've met atheists that they say
• 13:34
  Speaker 1: there's no evidence that there's a God. So they're trying
• 13:39
  Speaker 1: to intellectually explain God out or reject God. But in
• 13:45
  Speaker 1: their heart, you could tell that it's an issue of
• 13:48
  Speaker 1: the heart. It's not the issue of the intellect. It's
• 13:51
  Speaker 1: not that an atheist can't believe. It's that an atheist
• 13:55
  Speaker 1: refuses to believe. There's enough evidence, overwhelming evidence, overwhelming evidence

  Speaker 1: of the life, death, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.

  Speaker 1: That he was a historical person, that he lived, died,
• 14:10
  Speaker 1: and rose again. Overwhelming evidence. No one could deny that evidence.

  Speaker 1: I mean, you can, but intellectually, you want to be
• 14:19
  Speaker 1: honest doing that, right? You won't be honest doing that.
• 14:23
  Speaker 1: So it's your choice. Jesus himself, he doesn't want to
• 14:28
  Speaker 1: improve your life. He wants to give you life and
• 14:32
  Speaker 1: life in abundance. Remember that promise that he wants us
• 14:36
  Speaker 1: to have life and life in abundance? He's not into
• 14:40
  Speaker 1: this whole thing about, I'll make your life great. make
• 14:44
  Speaker 1: my life great again type of thing. No, God gives
• 14:47
  Speaker 1: us life and he gives us life in abundance. So
• 14:50
  Speaker 1: who are you going to believe? What are you going
• 14:52
  Speaker 1: to believe? Right? You could hear about Jesus. You hear
• 14:57
  Speaker 1: about the gospels. You could go to church, do Bible
• 15:00
  Speaker 1: studies and still not believe or still not respond or
• 15:05
  Speaker 1: reject him in your life. That's why God's word says,
• 15:10
  Speaker 1: they give me lip service. They say, that they believe
• 15:13
  Speaker 1: in me, but they don't follow. So I've been telling
• 15:16
  Speaker 1: people and telling myself, listen, not only believe, but follow.
• 15:20
  Speaker 1: Follow who you believe. Follow the Lord Jesus. You can
• 15:24
  Speaker 1: hear about Jesus and still reject him, right? You can
• 15:27
  Speaker 1: know all kinds of scriptures and still refuse to surrender
• 15:31
  Speaker 1: your life according to the scriptures. You could sit in
• 15:35
  Speaker 1: a church pew or in his church chair. You could
• 15:38
  Speaker 1: be in leadership in church, right? Listen to Christian radio.
• 15:45
  Speaker 1: Listen to the Morning Devo. Watch Christian TV. And even
• 15:51
  Speaker 1: know the right words to say and how to respond
• 15:54
  Speaker 1: to people. But eventually, you have to make a personal
• 16:00
  Speaker 1: decision concerning the Lord Jesus Christ. Personally, I have to
• 16:04
  Speaker 1: make a decision concerning Jesus Christ. Daily. Like it's a
• 16:11
  Speaker 1: daily decision. I never wake up. I'd say, well, I
• 16:14
  Speaker 1: don't have to be a Christian today. I don't think
• 16:16
  Speaker 1: that'll work out for me. And I think that's a
• 16:19
  Speaker 1: game that I'm not willing to play. It's not worth
• 16:23
  Speaker 1: the results, right? Rejecting the Lord Jesus, the son who
• 16:27
  Speaker 1: has eternal life, rejecting the one that all things are
• 16:30
  Speaker 1: placed in his hands, the wrath of God will remain
• 16:33
  Speaker 1: on me or the wrath of God will remain on you.
• 16:37
  Speaker 1: We don't want that. I don't think anybody wants that.
• 16:39
  Speaker 1: I don't wish that on my worst enemy. Trust me.
• 16:43
  Speaker 1: You study the wrath of God. In the scriptures, you'll
• 16:46
  Speaker 1: be like, okay, I have to make a decision today.
• 16:49
  Speaker 1: I have to make a decision right now. Am I
• 16:53
  Speaker 1: headed towards a place without God's goodness for all eternity?
• 16:57
  Speaker 1: Or am I headed to a place of God's love, grace,
• 17:00
  Speaker 1: and mercy for all eternity? I want to be embraced
• 17:03
  Speaker 1: by a holy, loving, all-powerful God. I don't want to
• 17:06
  Speaker 1: be destroyed. It's an awful day. For those who rejected
• 17:12
  Speaker 1: the Lord Jesus Christ. When he cracks open those skies.
• 17:15
  Speaker 1: And he comes back. With a new heaven. And a
• 17:19
  Speaker 1: new earth. God does things new. He doesn't do old things.
• 17:22
  Speaker 1: The devil does old things. He's old. He's wise. He
• 17:28
  Speaker 1: doesn't create anything. He just knows how to lie. And
• 17:32
  Speaker 1: how to deceive. And a lot of people are under
• 17:35
  Speaker 1: his influence. And they're lying and deceiving. Manipulating people. cyberbullying.
• 17:41
  Speaker 1: They're doing all those things influenced not by the Spirit
• 17:44
  Speaker 1: of God, not by a Holy Spirit. They're being influenced
• 17:47
  Speaker 1: by an unholy spirit. They're being influenced by the devil
• 17:52
  Speaker 1: and the things of darkness. We need to be praying
• 17:55
  Speaker 1: for people daily. A lot of people who come against
• 17:59
  Speaker 1: God's work, who come against God's people, who come against
• 18:02
  Speaker 1: God's ministries, who come against God's church, they're in a
• 18:06
  Speaker 1: bad space. We need to be praying for them. Keep
• 18:10
  Speaker 1: your distance. Don't join in what they're doing. But let's
• 18:13
  Speaker 1: be prayerful. Let's be prayerful for those people because they're
• 18:17
  Speaker 1: in a bad spot. So don't put it off. Don't
• 18:20
  Speaker 1: put it off any longer. Don't put off the most
• 18:23
  Speaker 1: important decision you and I will ever make in life, right?
• 18:27
  Speaker 1: Because face it, I don't know how long I'm going
• 18:30
  Speaker 1: to be here on this planet, on this side of eternity.
• 18:34
  Speaker 1: How about you? Do you know how long you're going
• 18:36
  Speaker 1: to actually be here? No, you don't. This is all
• 18:41
  Speaker 1: borrowed time. This is all God's grace right now. When
• 18:45
  Speaker 1: I woke up, the grace of God. When I woke up,
• 18:48
  Speaker 1: the mercy of God, right? And that goes for you too.
• 18:53
  Speaker 1: Don't put off making the most important decision you'll ever make.
• 18:57
  Speaker 1: Make that decision today. And listen, you say, you know what?
• 19:01
  Speaker 1: I reject the Lord. I reject Jesus. Although it makes
• 19:05
  Speaker 1: me cringe and it hurts my heart and it burns
• 19:08
  Speaker 1: my soul. When I hear people say that, I have
• 19:12
  Speaker 1: to respect it. Because if God didn't force me to
• 19:16
  Speaker 1: follow him, who am I to try to force people
• 19:20
  Speaker 1: to follow him? If God himself never forced me or
• 19:25
  Speaker 1: you to make a decision for him. If you have
• 19:31
  Speaker 1: never put your whole faith and trust in the Lord,
• 19:35
  Speaker 1: consider choosing him today. Is that serious? Yes. Consider choosing
• 19:42
  Speaker 1: Christ today. If you've already given your life to the
• 19:48
  Speaker 1: Lord Jesus Christ, choose Him again. Choose Him daily. Choose obedience.

  Speaker 1: may not be your choice. Sometimes you wake up and

  Speaker 1: you're like, man, I didn't choose this. I didn't choose

  Speaker 1: this drama. I didn't choose this enemy coming after me.

  Speaker 1: I didn't choose this sickness. I didn't choose this disease.

  Speaker 1: I didn't choose this lack of money situation that I'm in.

  Speaker 1: Life is lifing, right? That's what the young people say.

  Speaker 1: So when life is not going the way we think

  Speaker 1: it should be going, or unfair things are happening, remind

  Speaker 1: yourself that this world system, I remind myself all the time,

  Speaker 1: this world system is not God's system. This world system

  Speaker 1: is being run by the devil. People are like, what

  Speaker 1: do you mean? I thought God rules the world. No,

  Speaker 1: he owns the world, but he gave the system over
• 21:30
  Speaker 1: to a generation that God says is evil. evil and
• 21:35
  Speaker 1: perverse generation. The enemy is doing his thing, deceiving, lying
• 21:40
  Speaker 1: to people, false promises, fake miracles. He's using even ministers
• 21:45
  Speaker 1: that claim to know Jesus. He's letting them run around
• 21:48
  Speaker 1: the world, activating their strange fire over people and congregations. Locally,
• 21:55
  Speaker 1: there's strange fire in churches. People up ministering and worship
• 22:00
  Speaker 1: singers and leaders and pastors, teachers, apostles, prophets, evangelists that

  Speaker 1: are seemingly being used by God, but their fruit of
• 22:10
  Speaker 1: their life is rotten. So we have to be mindful,

  Speaker 1: we have to be careful, and we have to be
• 22:15
  Speaker 1: alert of these things, right? So choose Jesus. Your past, right?

  Speaker 1: We all have a past. Your past might've not have
• 22:28
  Speaker 1: been your choice. I was born in a family that
• 22:32
  Speaker 1: I love. But I was also born in a family
• 22:35
  Speaker 1: that I didn't choose. God chose the family that I
• 22:38
  Speaker 1: was going to be born into. God chose the family
• 22:40
  Speaker 1: that you were going to be born into. I know
• 22:43
  Speaker 1: people that say, no, you had a choice beforehand and
• 22:47
  Speaker 1: they can't explain how that works. How did I have
• 22:50
  Speaker 1: a choice before I was born? No, our placement on
• 22:55
  Speaker 1: this planet earth was predestined. God chose where we were
• 22:59
  Speaker 1: going to be, who we were going to be around

  Speaker 1: And some people have some stories that I'm like, man,
• 23:06
  Speaker 1: that's sad. Abuse, right? Molestation. All those things that people
• 23:11
  Speaker 1: went through and they're explaining it. They're crying. They're tormented
• 23:15
  Speaker 1: by those things. And I'm like, you know, I don't
• 23:19
  Speaker 1: have the answer of why God allowed that to happen.
• 23:22
  Speaker 1: But I do have the answer of the Lord Jesus
• 23:24
  Speaker 1: Christ that can shine the light into those dark places.

  Speaker 1: and take us out of that darkness and into his
• 23:32
  Speaker 1: marvelous light. I do know that for sure, because he's
• 23:35
  Speaker 1: done that in my life. He took me out of
• 23:37
  Speaker 1: my darkness and brought me into his marvelous light. So

  Speaker 1: your past may not be your choice. You didn't create
• 23:47
  Speaker 1: the situations from your past. You probably made decisions that
• 23:51
  Speaker 1: extended like a sinful way of living. You've probably made decisions.
• 23:56
  Speaker 1: I know before Christ, I was making decisions that were
• 23:59
  Speaker 1: extending my chaos, that were extending my lack of knowledge
• 24:04
  Speaker 1: and understanding. They were extending the drama and chaos in
• 24:08
  Speaker 1: my life. Before Christ, I was just living the world
• 24:11
  Speaker 1: system way, right? Get all you can, can't all you get. Drug, sex, alcohol,
• 24:17
  Speaker 1: party life, all of that. Violence, all of it. I
• 24:22
  Speaker 1: was living that way. I was actually dying that way,
• 24:25
  Speaker 1: but you know what I'm talking about. Then boom. Christ
• 24:28
  Speaker 1: found me in the darkest place of my life and
• 24:32
  Speaker 1: shined his light upon my life and transformed me, renewed me,
• 24:35
  Speaker 1: redeemed me, saved me, rescued me. So I was able
• 24:40
  Speaker 1: at that moment to make better choices because now I
• 24:43
  Speaker 1: had the best living inside of me by way of
• 24:46
  Speaker 1: Holy Spirit. What about you? So this is my morning

  Speaker 1: devotion that I get to share with you, right? Ask

  Speaker 1: the Father. or actually thank the Father for allowing us

  Speaker 1: to choose him, to choose his son. So when you
• 25:06
  Speaker 1: choose Jesus, you are actually choosing life. When you choose Jesus,

  Speaker 1: you are actually choosing eternal life. You are receiving eternal life.

  Speaker 1: You are benefiting from the one who can promise and
• 25:19
  Speaker 1: deliver eternal life, right? We're not serving a God who
• 25:24
  Speaker 1: is totally understandable, right? I don't understand everything that God does.

  Speaker 1: You don't understand everything that God does. You could have
• 25:33
  Speaker 1: been in seminary school. You could have a doctor's degree.

  Speaker 1: You could have all these accolades in Christian life or
• 25:39
  Speaker 1: in Christian living or in a church. And you won't,

  Speaker 1: I guarantee you, you won't understand everything of God. You

  Speaker 1: might have a lot more understanding than I have of

  Speaker 1: the scriptures, but no one on this planet has total

  Speaker 1: understanding of who God is. That's why he promises eternal

  Speaker 1: life with him so we have a whole eternity to

  Speaker 1: understand God more and more and more for all eternity.

  Speaker 1: That's going to be a great time. People think, oh,
• 26:09
  Speaker 1: heaven's going to be boring. I'm like, are you kidding me?

  Speaker 1: There's nothing that our eyes have seen or that our
• 26:16
  Speaker 1: ears have heard or no experience that we experience here
• 26:19
  Speaker 1: on earth can compare to what we're going to experience
• 26:22
  Speaker 1: in the kingdom of God in heaven. So ask God
• 26:26
  Speaker 1: to help you understand. Help God Ask God to help
• 26:29
  Speaker 1: you believe. Ask God to help you trust. Even when
• 26:34
  Speaker 1: we don't understand what's going on in life, go to
• 26:37
  Speaker 1: the Lord Jesus. Obey even when it's difficult. Like, God,

  Speaker 1: why is this happening? I don't want to do this.

  Speaker 1: Obey God's word anyway. Right? Ask God to give you

  Speaker 1: the courage to turn away from anything that separates us

  Speaker 1: from him. That will be sin. I know sin is

  Speaker 1: pleasurable for a season. The Bible confirms that. The Bible

  Speaker 1: says that. So I have to admit what the word says.

  Speaker 1: Sin is pleasurable for a season, but man, when that

  Speaker 1: season is over, the results and the consequences of that,

  Speaker 1: next level. So just ask God to help you make

  Speaker 1: your choices, be honoring to him, right? If there's someone

  Speaker 1: out there that's watching or listening right now, and you

  Speaker 1: have not surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, but you

  Speaker 1: feel like a tug in your heart and you seem

  Speaker 1: to understand that this is true, I need you to

  Speaker 1: admit right now that you're a sinner and you need

  Speaker 1: to be forgiven for those sins. Admit it right now.

  Speaker 1: Ask the Lord Jesus Christ into your heart and into

  Speaker 1: your life. Ask Him, literally. Ask the Lord Jesus Christ

  Speaker 1: into your heart and into your life. And ask Him

  Speaker 1: to save you right now. And leave the rest to

  Speaker 1: the Lord Jesus Christ. Then testify. A day after this,

  Speaker 1: after this, 15 years after this, testify that of how
