A horrific wrong-way crash on I-27 claimed three lives and left four others injured, including a three-year-old pulled from flames by a heroic officer. The collision began when a southbound vehicle slammed into a northbound car, killing the wrong-way driver, Oscar Sotelo, and his 60-year-old passenger, Lakecha Collins. The driver of the first car, Jairon Foster, survived with serious injuries. A two-year-old in Sotelo’s car also died at the scene.
