- 1:05email me any questions you have about your world or Planet
- 1:09Butter's life approach.
- 1:10SPEAKER_00: Myplanettoyours at gmail.com.
- 1:15So this week's self-friendship article snippet from the Planet
- 1:19Butter publication
- 1:20SPEAKER_00: hosted on Substack.
- 1:22SPEAKER_00: Two types of entitlement.
- 1:26SPEAKER_00: I am the exception.
- 1:28SPEAKER_00: You are too.
- 1:30SPEAKER_00: You might not own it yet.
- 1:33SPEAKER_00: I'm delusional.
- 1:35SPEAKER_00: Welcome to Planet Butter.
- 1:37We can all be exceptional and by default,
- 1:39we diminish the concept of being the exception.
- 1:43The exception only conceptually exists because so many people
- 1:47limit themselves to
- 1:50SPEAKER_00: the confines,
- 1:51SPEAKER_00: the coping mechanisms of our existence,
- 1:54SPEAKER_00: which are societal constructs rather than leading with our intuition.
- 2:02SPEAKER_00: To be exceptional is a byproduct of leading with our intuition.
- 2:07Our mere existence is our entitlement to acting in accordance
- 2:13to our alignment.
- 2:15SPEAKER_00: It's our decision whether to claim this entitlement or not.
- 2:20SPEAKER_00: Intucentricism is Planet Butter's life approach.
- 2:23SPEAKER_00: The development and expression of the healthy ego through the practice of
- 2:28SPEAKER_00: self-friendship and the Planet Butter Jet Ring of Consciousness
- 2:31SPEAKER_00: the cycle for decision-making.
- 2:34There's two types of entitlement,
- 2:36a healthy version and an unhealthy version.

- 2:54on Planet Butter's
- 2:55SPEAKER_00: Instagram at Planet Butter.
- 2:57SPEAKER_00: All right, let's boogie.
- 2:59SPEAKER_00: Now a perspective dance with treat others how you want to be treated.
- 3:05SPEAKER_00: Perceive others how you want to be perceived.
- 3:10SPEAKER_00: Consider it.
- 3:11SPEAKER_00: Perceive others how you want to be perceived.
- 3:15SPEAKER_00: All right, a note on validation.
- 3:19I've asked the uni for signs to confirm my intuition to make
- 3:22sure it was my
- 3:23SPEAKER_00: intuition before acting on it.
- 3:27SPEAKER_00: It works,
- 3:28SPEAKER_00: the uni affirms,
- 3:30but I've found it even more empowering to act on my intuition
- 3:35simply because it
- 3:36SPEAKER_00: said so.
- 3:38This way,
- 3:38the uni's validation comes as a response to my self-trust,
- 3:44not as a prerequisite.
- 3:47Wholeheartedly trusting myself up front skips the stalling and
- 3:52lets me move
- 3:53SPEAKER_00: straight into action.
- 3:56SPEAKER_00: So rather than intuition says, do this, me, uni, can you confirm?
- 4:02SPEAKER_00: Uni says, sure.
- 4:04SPEAKER_00: Now I get the confirmation from uni and then I go, okay, now I'll go.
- 4:09SPEAKER_00: Uni says, nice.
- 4:11You could have done that in the first place because our
- 4:14intuition is the uni.
- 4:16SPEAKER_00: Hello.
- 4:18SPEAKER_00: But from that, we shift to your intuition saying, do this.
- 4:23SPEAKER_00: And then you go, okay.
- 4:25SPEAKER_00: And then the uni says, nice, here's a million dollars.
- 4:30SPEAKER_00: That's an exaggeration, but it is literally possible.
- 4:33SPEAKER_00: So instead of delaying your action, you are just taking the action.
- 4:38SPEAKER_00: And by taking the action,
- 4:40the validation from the universe is whatever happens because
- 4:45you just took the
- 4:45action versus waiting to take the action with the validation
- 4:48from the universe.
- 4:51SPEAKER_00: I hope you understand.
- 4:52SPEAKER_00: But if you don't, you can email me, myplanetsayours at gmail.com.
- 4:59SPEAKER_00: Basically,
- 5:00we either seek external validation to be validated internally
- 5:05or we validate
- 5:06SPEAKER_00: ourselves internally and are affirmed externally.
- 5:10SPEAKER_00: Now, a note on social media addictions.
- 5:16SPEAKER_00: When people blame social media for their relationship with it,
- 5:19SPEAKER_00: they're designed to make us addicted,
- 5:21SPEAKER_00: people say.
- 5:23SPEAKER_00: Let's take a step objective.
- 5:25SPEAKER_00: If apps are designed to make us addicted,
- 5:28this means we are all susceptible to addictions of whatever
- 5:34kind in the first place.
- 5:37SPEAKER_00: So to me,
- 5:39when somebody is blaming social media for being designed to
- 5:42leverage our chemical makeup,
- 5:45SPEAKER_00: whatever,
- 5:46SPEAKER_00: to be addicted,
- 5:47SPEAKER_00: I hear an excuse and a lack of responsibility.
- 5:53SPEAKER_00: That's not going to fly.
- 5:56SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 5:57SPEAKER_00: Boundaries, boundaries, boundaries, boundaries.
- 6:02SPEAKER_00: Go meet them.
- 6:04That said,
- 6:05I noticed myself not feeling super inspired to use Instagram a
- 6:08couple of weeks ago.
- 6:09SPEAKER_00: So I took a break.
- 6:11SPEAKER_00: I noticed whenever it somehow came up in conversation,
- 6:13people alluded to the disciplinary nature of taking breaks from
- 6:16social media and
- 6:18SPEAKER_00: My Instagram break was not a disciplinary action.
- 6:22SPEAKER_00: It was an inspired action.
- 6:24SPEAKER_00: I have a very healthy relationship with social media.
- 6:28SPEAKER_00: I use it to express my creativity,
- 6:30SPEAKER_00: connect with those who connect with my creativity,
- 6:32SPEAKER_00: and expand my perspective of the world through other people's creativity.
- 6:38SPEAKER_00: I look at it when I want to.
- 6:39SPEAKER_00: I post when I want to.
- 6:43SPEAKER_00: I scroll consciously when I feel like it.
- 6:47SPEAKER_00: for a little giggle, a little learning, and a little appreciating.
- 6:53SPEAKER_00: Now a perspective dance with my haircut.
- 6:58SPEAKER_00: I got my haircut on my birthday and I was on such a birthday high.
- 7:02I genuinely loved it until I chilled later and realized how
- 7:06freaking short it is.
- 7:10We had so much fun the whole time during my haircut,
- 7:13me and all the ladies.
- 7:14SPEAKER_00: It was just, we just had a blast.
- 7:17SPEAKER_00: But this is actually way shorter than I would prefer.
- 7:19SPEAKER_00: But the cut itself is actually a good cut.
- 7:22SPEAKER_00: So it'll grow out nicely, but patience.
- 7:27SPEAKER_00: But it's cool because I clicked into this detachment place of not,
- 7:33SPEAKER_00: rather than disliking my hair,
- 7:35SPEAKER_00: I've just been
- 7:37SPEAKER_00: trusting in the timing and also affirming to myself.
- 7:41SPEAKER_00: I've also been so grateful that it's actually a good haircut,
- 7:44SPEAKER_00: just short,
- 7:44SPEAKER_00: just good,
- 7:45SPEAKER_00: but short,
- 7:46SPEAKER_00: right?
- 7:47SPEAKER_00: Because it can be bad and short, but it's good and short.
- 7:51So I've been affirming to myself,
- 7:52I love my hair and it's growing so fast.
- 7:56So every time I look in the mirror,
- 7:57I'm like,
- 7:58wow,
- 7:58your hair is growing so fast.
- 8:00SPEAKER_00: It looks so beautiful.
- 8:01SPEAKER_00: And then when I'm doing shampoo, I'm like,
- 8:03SPEAKER_00: My hair is growing so fast.
- 8:08SPEAKER_00: It works.
- 8:09SPEAKER_00: Try it.
- 8:10SPEAKER_00: Now a party of fun.
- 8:13Also on my birthday,
- 8:14I ordered a custom breakfast dosa at this little Indian place.
- 8:18SPEAKER_00: And 10 minutes into preparing my food,
- 8:20SPEAKER_00: the waiter came back over and said it won't fit on one plate.
- 8:24SPEAKER_00: Do I want two plates?
- 8:26SPEAKER_00: And yes, they were very large plates.
- 8:29SPEAKER_00: They should not offer a custom dosa building offer to me, probably.
- 8:37SPEAKER_00: Or they should.
- 8:40SPEAKER_00: It doesn't matter.
- 8:40SPEAKER_00: I just thought that was hilarious.
- 8:42And I was on the phone with my friend and she was like,
- 8:44they didn't realize who was ordering.
- 8:45SPEAKER_00: And I was like, I know.
- 8:49SPEAKER_00: Now, a perspective dance with age.
- 8:52SPEAKER_00: More birthday fun.
- 8:54SPEAKER_00: For the sake of grounding our minds in the universe at large while still
- 8:58SPEAKER_00: acknowledging our humanness,
- 9:00SPEAKER_00: which is into centricism,
- 9:03SPEAKER_00: the development and the expression of the healthy ego,
- 9:06SPEAKER_00: rather than saying I'm 29 years old,
- 9:08SPEAKER_00: I'm going to start saying I'm 29 years on earth because we don't know.
- 9:16SPEAKER_00: Like beyond.
- 9:18earth you with me all right now a perspective dance with
- 9:24arguably considerably
- 9:27rather than arguably why argue when we can consider more food
- 9:35for thought guys now
- 9:39SPEAKER_00: gratitude for aimlessness
- 9:42SPEAKER_00: I went on a Stairmaster.
- 9:44SPEAKER_00: I forgot about this.
- 9:45I went on a Stairmaster for the first time in years because I
- 9:48usually just walk
- 9:49SPEAKER_00: outside or I'm on stairs to somewhere.
- 9:52SPEAKER_00: And it's just not really something I do frequently.
- 9:59SPEAKER_00: And as I started walking on the Stairmaster,
- 10:01SPEAKER_00: I found myself laughing hysterically at the aimlessness of it.
- 10:05SPEAKER_00: Like I am going nowhere.
- 10:08SPEAKER_00: And there was something really funny about that.
- 10:12and fun and i'm so grateful for my silly little stair master
- 10:16moment i also think
- 10:18it's hilarious to picture somebody walking on a stair master
- 10:21but the stair master
- 10:22is like invisible so basically it's like picture somebody
- 10:26floating in the air
- 10:28walking on invisible stairs but they're not going anywhere so
- 10:33it's just like i
- 10:35SPEAKER_00: don't know i thought it was so funny so silly so silly guys like
- 10:41SPEAKER_00: But gratitude for aimlessness, honestly.
- 10:46SPEAKER_00: Why not?
- 10:47SPEAKER_00: Now a note on boundaries.
- 10:48SPEAKER_00: If you cross someone else's boundaries, you disrespect your own.
- 10:52SPEAKER_00: Our relationship with the world is our relationship with ourselves.
- 10:57SPEAKER_00: You know this.
- 10:58SPEAKER_00: Act like it.
- 11:01SPEAKER_00: Now a note on time.
- 11:03SPEAKER_00: X steps forward,
- 11:05X steps back is another verbal representation of our
- 11:09unconscious understanding that
- 11:12SPEAKER_00: time is not linear.
- 11:15SPEAKER_00: Basically,
- 11:16SPEAKER_00: basically acknowledging that when we take a few steps forward,
- 11:20SPEAKER_00: we always take a few steps back.
- 11:22SPEAKER_00: It's oscillating and which I talk about a lot.
- 11:25And it's another verbal representation of our unconscious
- 11:30understanding that time is not linear.
- 11:35SPEAKER_00: Marinate on it.
- 11:36SPEAKER_00: See what you come up with.
- 11:39SPEAKER_00: Now, a note on secrets of the uni.
- 11:42SPEAKER_00: There are no secrets to the universe.
- 11:44SPEAKER_00: We've just suppressed the truth through societal conditioning.
- 11:48SPEAKER_00: If you really pay attention to my work,
- 11:51I'm telling you and showing you exactly how the universe works
- 11:57and how to have fun
- 11:58SPEAKER_00: while you're on Earth.
- 12:01SPEAKER_00: Yay, planet butter.
- 12:03SPEAKER_00: Now a note on relatability.
- 12:06SPEAKER_00: I have moments where I don't know if I'm relatable per se,
- 12:10but I intentionally write in a way that is objective so that it
- 12:14can be applicable
- 12:15SPEAKER_00: to everyone in whatever their life experience is.
- 12:20SPEAKER_00: So my abstracticity,
- 12:22SPEAKER_00: a Blizzard's dictionary term,
- 12:26SPEAKER_00: so relatable,
- 12:27SPEAKER_00: makes everything I say relatable.
- 12:31SPEAKER_00: Maybe not me personally, but
- 12:33SPEAKER_00: But I don't need to be relatable.
- 12:36SPEAKER_00: My work needs to be relatable, which is me, but it's an extension of me.
- 12:43SPEAKER_00: Something, something, something, something about that.
- 12:45That's the goal for you guys to connect with Planet Butter in
- 12:49whatever way suits you.
- 12:51SPEAKER_00: Objectivity is, I think, what does that.
- 13:00SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 13:01SPEAKER_00: Orchid, what do you think?
- 13:03SPEAKER_00: There is an orchid here.
- 13:07SPEAKER_00: Relatable.
- 13:12SPEAKER_00: Now, a perspective dance with starting over.
- 13:15SPEAKER_00: I saw a post that said, I don't care how many times I need to start over.
- 13:20SPEAKER_00: I'll never settle.
- 13:22SPEAKER_00: While the sentiment is beautiful, let's perspective dance.
- 13:26SPEAKER_00: Maybe nobody is ever starting over, but expanding.
- 13:31SPEAKER_00: Even if you leave everything behind, that's only physical.
- 13:36SPEAKER_00: Mentally and emotionally, we bring it all with us.
- 13:40SPEAKER_00: So we're not starting over, we are expanding.
- 13:43SPEAKER_00: We take what we like, we transcend what we don't.
- 13:49SPEAKER_00: Now a note on your inner child.
- 13:53SPEAKER_00: You know how kids are ridiculously honest?
- 13:57SPEAKER_00: So that means your inner child is ridiculously honest.
- 14:03SPEAKER_00: It's unfiltered.
- 14:05SPEAKER_00: It's connected to your intuition.
- 14:08SPEAKER_00: So try listening to it.
- 14:10Ask a question with the intention of asking your child self and
- 14:15just see what happens.
- 14:17SPEAKER_00: Could be fun.
- 14:20SPEAKER_00: Now a quote from a guy that I shared a table with.
- 14:24He said,
- 14:25I'm trying to find value in conversations with people who just
- 14:30have opinions.
- 14:33SPEAKER_00: I loved that so much.
- 14:35And it was so beautifully said,
- 14:37especially because English was not his first language.
- 14:40SPEAKER_00: He was Russian.
- 14:41So I just thought that was so cool that you could convey such
- 14:44intelligence in another language.
- 14:47SPEAKER_00: Like, so cool.
- 14:50SPEAKER_00: Think about that, guys.
- 14:51I'm trying to find value in conversations with people who just
- 14:53have opinions.
- 14:55SPEAKER_00: So this dude was coming from a positive,
- 14:59SPEAKER_00: optimistic place,
- 15:01wanting to find value and simultaneously acknowledging that
- 15:07it's difficult to find
- 15:09value with people who just share opinions because opinions
- 15:13don't explore opinions.
- 15:17SPEAKER_00: concepts, topics, minds, each other.
- 15:20SPEAKER_00: It doesn't practice listening.
- 15:24SPEAKER_00: Exchanging of opinions is fairly small minded.
- 15:27SPEAKER_00: So that phrasing was just gorgeous.
- 15:31SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 15:33SPEAKER_00: Now a note on emotional intelligence.
- 15:36SPEAKER_00: Emotional intelligence does not equate to emotional maturity.
- 15:41SPEAKER_00: It's the equivalent to being aware,
- 15:43but not being capable of making effective changes or really not
- 15:47choosing to make
- 15:48SPEAKER_00: effective changes.
- 15:52SPEAKER_00: Now a tip for clarity,
- 15:55ask yourself questions before sleep and then see if you answer
- 15:58them in your dreams
- 15:59SPEAKER_00: because your subconscious is going while you're sleeping,
- 16:04SPEAKER_00: right?
- 16:05SPEAKER_00: So if you consciously ask yourself about something right before sleep,
- 16:10SPEAKER_00: then that'll be the freshest thing in your subconscious mind.
- 16:14SPEAKER_00: And it'll go.
- 16:15SPEAKER_00: And then you'll get your answer.
- 16:22SPEAKER_00: I think I do.
- 16:24SPEAKER_00: It works for me.
- 16:25SPEAKER_00: That's why I thought of it.
- 16:26SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 16:27SPEAKER_00: A note on courage.
- 16:29I suddenly fired these series of posts off on threads about
- 16:33what planet butter is.
- 16:34SPEAKER_00: And I think it's valuable to share here too.
- 16:36SPEAKER_00: So here we boogie.
- 16:39SPEAKER_00: Planet butter.
- 16:40SPEAKER_00: The courage to be misunderstood.
- 16:43SPEAKER_00: Planet Butter.
- 16:44SPEAKER_00: The courage to confuse people with far out concepts.
- 16:49SPEAKER_00: Planet Butter.
- 16:50SPEAKER_00: The courage to tell people to smarten up and refuse to dumb it down.
- 16:56SPEAKER_00: Planet Butter.
- 16:57The courage to mix sparkly peanut butter with groundbreaking
- 17:00philosophical concepts.
- 17:03SPEAKER_00: Planet Butter.
- 17:04The courage to refer to your own work as groundbreaking and not
- 17:08in a corny way.
- 17:12SPEAKER_00: Planet Butter,
- 17:13the courage to respond to every single audience member
- 17:16commenting about my boobs
- 17:18SPEAKER_00: with love,
- 17:19SPEAKER_00: humor,
- 17:20SPEAKER_00: class,
- 17:21SPEAKER_00: and my business.
- 17:27SPEAKER_00: It was so nice to do one of the normal quote unquote episodes this week.
- 17:32SPEAKER_00: The last two episodes were part one and part two of my Q&A with ChatGPT.
- 17:36SPEAKER_00: Those were super fun,
- 17:37but I totally missed doing this because now it's been actually
- 17:41three weeks since
- 17:42SPEAKER_00: one of these.
- 17:42SPEAKER_00: So it was cool to take a break,
- 17:44SPEAKER_00: but still record the show in unique ways and then come back to this.
- 17:48SPEAKER_00: Pretty cool.
- 17:49SPEAKER_00: Pretty cool.
- 17:49SPEAKER_00: Pretty cool.
- 17:50SPEAKER_00: Pretty cool.
- 17:51SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 17:52SPEAKER_00: Because, oh, the third week.
- 17:53Well,
- 17:53three weeks ago,
- 17:54it was the story about that crazy treehouse fire situation.
- 17:59SPEAKER_00: Scary.
- 17:59SPEAKER_00: Crazy.
- 18:01SPEAKER_00: I think episode 57.
- 18:03SPEAKER_00: So episode 57 was the crazy, crazy tree cabin story.
- 18:06And then 58 and 59 were part one and part two of me
- 18:10interviewing myself a la chat GPT,
- 18:14SPEAKER_00: asking about Planet Butters concepts and la la la la la.
- 18:17SPEAKER_00: So now we're back.
