- 0:08Speaker 1: Advice Shoot. Hello, welcome to the Naughty but Night Shower.
- 0:18Speaker 1: I'm your host, Rob Shooter, and it's Wednesday, which means
- 0:21Speaker 1: our dear friend Donnie meetscham from Okay Magazine dot com
- 0:25Speaker 1: is joining us. Donnie, are you there? Hello? Lolla loop.
- 0:29Speaker 1: This week, Naties, it said to say, you only give
- 0:31Speaker 1: me one time this week, so we're gonna make the
- 0:35Speaker 1: most of it. We had a treat last week. Donnie
- 0:38Speaker 1: stepped in two days last week. We had you on
- 0:40Speaker 1: Wednesday and a Friday. It's just Wednesday this week's but
- 0:44Speaker 1: we've got a great show, lots of gossip together. Let's
- 0:47Speaker 1: jump right in, my friends, what time is it? It
- 0:49Speaker 1: is Jennifer Andison the envyous Jennifer Lopez for this reason. So,
- 0:56Speaker 1: Jennifer Aniston is on the cover of in Style and
- 1:00Speaker 1: she confesses that when you see her on the red
- 1:03Speaker 1: carpet at all those awards shows, she looks fantastic, but
- 1:07Speaker 1: she actually feels quote weird. And the one person that
- 1:11Speaker 1: she really admires, and she said, I'm kind of jealous
- 1:14Speaker 1: of on the red carpet is Jennifer Lopez. Quote. I
- 1:19Speaker 1: don't know how to stand on a red carpet. You
- 1:22Speaker 1: do the best you can. Jen confessed in style, and
- 1:26Speaker 1: she said she also tries to connect with the people
- 1:28Speaker 1: holding the cameras. Remember she's been doing this for us
- 1:31Speaker 1: so long. She says hello. She actually knows them. A
- 1:34Speaker 1: lot of the photographers. It's the same twenty thirty photographers
- 1:38Speaker 1: at every event, so Jen's got to know them. But
- 1:41Speaker 1: she said her inspiration is Jenny from the block, is Jaylo.
- 1:45Speaker 1: She said she always looks j Loo as if she's
- 1:48Speaker 1: see even as if she's really angry on the red carpets,
- 1:51Speaker 1: but at the same time she looks gorgeous. And she said,
- 1:55Speaker 1: I can't just stand there like that, but Jlo can.
- 2:00Speaker 1: Jen goes on to say it's because j Loo is
- 2:02Speaker 1: a performer. I've been on red carpets with j Lo
- 2:05Speaker 1: and with Jennifer Anderson, and there is a difference. Jennifer
- 2:09Speaker 1: treated like she is a victorious Secrets model. She struts
- 2:15Speaker 1: down a red carpet. Jlo does like she's a peacock,
- 2:18Speaker 1: where Jennifer Anderston it's a little bit more shy. She
- 2:23Speaker 1: doesn't feel so comfortable. You just it's a really artificial thing.
- 2:27Speaker 1: It looks great. I know, we watch it on E
- 2:29Speaker 1: when the oscars are on and all those awards shows,
- 2:32Speaker 1: But when you're actually on those red carpets, you're pending
- 2:36Speaker 1: like animals, and the lightbulbs are really really hot. Often
- 2:42Speaker 1: they're not air conditioned. They're often outside and so are
- 2:46Speaker 1: It's not quite as glamorous as it looks on TV.
- 2:49Speaker 1: You've done red carpets too, Donnie. They're not quite as
- 2:53Speaker 1: wonderful as what people think. What do you think? No,
- 2:56Speaker 1: I will agree with you say. I have done it
- 2:58Speaker 1: several red carpets and it's it's Yes, it is a
- 3:01Speaker 1: lot of fun, but it's also a little weird because
- 3:04Speaker 1: we're sitting they're screaming Jennifer j Yeah, it's like it's
- 3:10Speaker 1: very especially the photographer section of it is different from
- 3:13Speaker 1: the radio and TV section. When they second they stand
- 3:16Speaker 1: out there, it is a hundred people screaming Jennifer, look,
- 3:20Speaker 1: smile left. It's unwhelming. You feel like an animal in
- 3:24Speaker 1: the zoo. And if you're not totally confident with the
- 3:29Speaker 1: way you look. And Jennifer Anderson is gorgeous, but she
- 3:33Speaker 1: has some insecurities too. If you're not really really confident,
- 3:38Speaker 1: they're a weird thing. It's happened to me not often
- 3:42Speaker 1: where I've actually been on a red carpet myself. I'm
- 3:45Speaker 1: not famous, but occasionally if I go to a premiere
- 3:48Speaker 1: or something, occasionally I get asked if I want to
- 3:51Speaker 1: walk the carpet. I often say no, not because I'm modest,
- 3:54Speaker 1: it's just so weird. I don't know what to put
- 3:56Speaker 1: with my hands. Where do you put your hands in
- 3:57Speaker 1: your pocket, behind your bag, just sucking your tommy? Do
- 4:01Speaker 1: you look over your shoulder? Do you look happy? Do
- 4:03Speaker 1: you look sad? They're really quite quite tricky to do.
- 4:06Speaker 1: If you're the sort of person that when a friend
- 4:09Speaker 1: takes a selfie you have to look at it before
- 4:13Speaker 1: they can post it. You should never do a red
- 4:15Speaker 1: carpet because you get no approval. You stand there, they
- 4:19Speaker 1: scream at you, you take a picture, and then you
- 4:22Speaker 1: walk down and do it again and again again. But
- 4:24Speaker 1: she said that she's envious of j Loo, who has
- 4:27Speaker 1: certainly mastered this, which brings us to our pole question
- 4:31Speaker 1: of the day. Jennifer Aniston envies Jennifer Lopez for how
- 4:36Speaker 1: she poses on the red carpets? Who do you envy more?
- 4:39Speaker 1: Who do you envy more? Do you envy Jennifer Lopez
- 4:43Speaker 1: or Jennifer and theston More which one are you more
- 4:47Speaker 1: jealous of? Hey? Go vote on our Twitter page at
- 4:51Speaker 1: Naughty Nice Rubber and Facebook pages Naughty Gossip and be
- 4:55Speaker 1: sure to check back tomorrow to hear your results. Donnie Love,
- 4:59Speaker 1: what are you this story? I really kind of love
- 5:03Speaker 1: in a sick, twisted little way here so we all
- 5:06Speaker 1: remember that. You know, Kathy Griffin schockolately revealed that she
- 5:10Speaker 1: had lung cancer and she was addicted to painkillers, very sad.
- 5:14Speaker 1: And then Megan McCain literally hours after that, went on
- 5:18Speaker 1: the air, Live on the View and just trashed her.
- 5:22Speaker 1: It was not nice, it was really mean. She says,
- 5:25Speaker 1: I do not like her. I'm never going to like her.
- 5:27Speaker 1: And what it was about was over. Megan felt like
- 5:31Speaker 1: she really offended her friend Clay Aiken many many years ago.
- 5:35Speaker 1: Kathy aken years ago, and Meghan's defending her friend Clay.
- 5:42Speaker 1: That's right. Yes, And I've seen Kathy Griffin many times
- 5:45Speaker 1: live in concert and concert and tour, but she would
- 5:48Speaker 1: actually call him gaikin she did, he would say, and
- 5:52Speaker 1: this was when he was not out of the closet, yes,
- 5:54Speaker 1: so he was still in the classic And she made
- 5:56Speaker 1: homophobic jokes. She did do that. She she did do that,
- 5:59Speaker 1: but Clay Aiken, weirdly enough, didn't seem to mind, because
- 6:03Speaker 1: he later on posted well wishes the Cathy, basically, you know,
- 6:09Speaker 1: saying love and prayers for a speedy recovery to my
- 6:12Speaker 1: dear friend. Selfish and gracious. She's even hosted a fundraiser
- 6:18Speaker 1: for his failed congressional campaign years ago. Right, and he
- 6:21Speaker 1: was in politics she did. Oh so this is such
- 6:25Speaker 1: your right. This is a really interesting story in a
- 6:28Speaker 1: wild way, because it starts off really cruel, doesn't it
- 6:30Speaker 1: making fun of somebody when they're literally in the hospital.
- 6:36Speaker 1: It's not a good idea. But she's defending her friend Clay,
- 6:40Speaker 1: and that Clay is saying, oh no, me and Kathy
- 6:43Speaker 1: are cool. That is actually make a McCain though that
- 6:46Speaker 1: is left out here. WHOOPI Goldberg on the View also
- 6:49Speaker 1: defended Kathy and said I love Kafee as a person,
- 6:52Speaker 1: and Rosie O'donnald, who used to be on the View,
- 6:54Speaker 1: tweeted about mega McCain's timing, saying, what's wrong with their McCain?
- 7:01Speaker 1: Kathy just announced she's got lung cancer, so it's all
- 7:05Speaker 1: so strange. Bad timing, just the awful thing to do.
- 7:09Speaker 1: But Clay now is sticking up for Kathy. Has that
- 7:12Speaker 1: ever happened to you? I once had a friend who
- 7:16Speaker 1: had a falling out with somebody, and so I went
- 7:19Speaker 1: to a war, at least in my own mind, with
- 7:21Speaker 1: the person they fell out with. Do you know who
- 7:23Speaker 1: he was? Bethanie Frankel. Bethanie Frankel was really good friends
- 7:29Speaker 1: with my friend mary Anne. Mary Anne worked at the
- 7:31Speaker 1: New York Post, so it helped Bethany to have a
- 7:35Speaker 1: friend at page six. So mary Anne and Bethanie hung
- 7:38Speaker 1: out all the time. We used to go for drinks
- 7:40Speaker 1: a bottino and Mary I muld be can I bring Bethanie?
- 7:43Speaker 1: And I'm like, ah. It was the first season of
- 7:45Speaker 1: the house was she never paid. She was super super cheap.
- 7:49Speaker 1: She hadn't made any money yet. We were always stuck
- 7:51Speaker 1: with Bethanie Frankel and I always had to pay. Drive
- 7:54Speaker 1: me crazy. So if mary and I were going for dinner,
- 7:57Speaker 1: she'd like, can I drag Bethany with? But always getting
- 8:00Speaker 1: page six, which Bethany loved. Then mary Anne and Bethany
- 8:04Speaker 1: fell out when Bethany didn't need mary Anne anymore so,
- 8:06Speaker 1: and Bethany became Bethanie. She dumped marry Anne. I went
- 8:09Speaker 1: to war with Bethanie. I was like, that's so wrong
- 8:12Speaker 1: to do. When you needed her, when she was at
- 8:14Speaker 1: the post, when you needed a gossip columnist writing about you,
- 8:17Speaker 1: when you needed her to buy you drinks, you were
- 8:19Speaker 1: all over her. Then they fell out. So now get
- 8:22Speaker 1: this mary Anne and Bethany and my friends, and I'm
- 8:25Speaker 1: the one I know and the Megan McCain here and
- 8:30Speaker 1: left out. I know. It's a new wild I wonder
- 8:33Speaker 1: if that's ever happened, that ever happened to you, Donnie,
- 8:35Speaker 1: where you've sort of tried to defend a friend and
- 8:37Speaker 1: you've ended up as a bad person. Oh yes, I
- 8:40Speaker 1: think it's happened to a lot of people. You really
- 8:41Speaker 1: have to walk a tight rope when friends they're falling
- 8:44Speaker 1: out high they got to be be, you know, clever
- 8:46Speaker 1: with what you're saying. Be clever with what you say.
- 8:48Speaker 1: This was not clever, Megan McCain, bad, bad, bad. Maybe
- 8:51Speaker 1: the long began Markles having a low key birthday party.
- 8:55Speaker 1: It's her birthday today, She's four to Happy birthdayllo llallo.
- 8:59Speaker 1: She doesn't have big hands for the day and page
- 9:01Speaker 1: six a reporting it's going to be a kind of
- 9:03Speaker 1: a low key day for her. She turns forty on
- 9:07Speaker 1: the same day as former President Obama, he celebrates his
- 9:10Speaker 1: sixtieth birthday to day Happy Birthday, and so there was
- 9:14Speaker 1: rumors that the sixes were going to attend the Obama's
- 9:17Speaker 1: President Obama's birthday party. I'm told that is not going
- 9:21Speaker 1: to happen. Also to them as rumors that their dear
- 9:24Speaker 1: friend Oprah Winfrey was going to throw them a big
- 9:27Speaker 1: birthday bash. I'm told that's not gonna happen. So I
- 9:29Speaker 1: think Oprah is going to go to President Obama's party instead.
- 9:33Speaker 1: So it's going to be a low key day. I
- 9:35Speaker 1: looked back just to see what happened over the past
- 9:38Speaker 1: couple of years. When she turned thirty seven, that was
- 9:41Speaker 1: her first birthday as a member of the royal family.
- 9:44Speaker 1: They attended a friend's wedding on that day, so it
- 9:46Speaker 1: wasn't really their day. When she turned thirty eight, that's
- 9:50Speaker 1: the first time she had a baby. The couple spent
- 9:53Speaker 1: the birthday having a private day at home in Windsor
- 9:57Speaker 1: when they used to live at frog War Cottage, and
- 10:00Speaker 1: as Joe, when she celebrated her thirty ninth birthday because
- 10:04Speaker 1: of COVID. It was a very quiet day too, so
- 10:06Speaker 1: a quiet birthday. What would you rather do, Donny, would
- 10:10Speaker 1: you rather get a Mega Marcos cry up party or
- 10:13Speaker 1: President obama sixty birthday back? I mean, yes, I just
- 10:18Speaker 1: had a question Obama, Michelle. I'm worried about Barack Michelle, Oprah.
- 10:25Speaker 1: You know, Dale King gotta be there, Joe is going
- 10:31Speaker 1: to be there, everybody, jay Z, Beyonce, ask him, Jennifer,
- 10:36Speaker 1: I'll be there, be fabulous. Oh, you've got Harry, Megan
- 10:41Speaker 1: and a little Archie a little little bit, a little
- 10:44Speaker 1: bit care talking. I don't care if she's there at that.
- 10:46Speaker 1: Do you think Megan thought Oprah was going to throw
- 10:49Speaker 1: her a party? I think Megan thinks she's closer to
- 10:52Speaker 1: Oprah than Oprah feels towards Megan. Now, I'm not putting
- 10:55Speaker 1: up down here. We love Oprah. She's busy, wanted that
- 10:59Speaker 1: TV interview, pro wanted that interview, and when she got it,
- 11:02Speaker 1: I'm not saying she dumped them, but I don't think
- 11:05Speaker 1: Oprah's returning the calls quite as quickly. I think she was,
- 11:08Speaker 1: like Megan, she had to scroll through to find out
- 11:09Speaker 1: which Megan. It was a Megan McKay. Megan Omegan Megan
- 11:17Speaker 1: Mark that rings a bell didn't go to your and
- 11:21Speaker 1: even I've never met her. I got a good seat
- 11:25Speaker 1: right by the gilt. And who's getting married? I know?
- 11:29Speaker 1: Moving along? What's happening with your girl? You love this
- 11:31Speaker 1: show on Gray's Anatomy? What's going Are you still watching
- 11:34Speaker 1: that show? Donna? Every episode? Not missed an episode. It's
- 11:39Speaker 1: a commitment, Donnie. It's been done forever. What's forever? I'm
- 11:43Speaker 1: very torn on this story. So Ellen Pompeio, who plays
- 11:46Speaker 1: Meredith Gray, she came out and she says that she
- 11:48Speaker 1: has no desire to continue acting once Gray's Anatomy kind
- 11:53Speaker 1: of finishes its run, which for Grace and Advance out there,
- 11:57Speaker 1: it has been renewed for a new season, so we
- 11:58Speaker 1: at least get one more. But I'm actually really torn
- 12:03Speaker 1: about this because I think of Ellen Pompey only as
- 12:06Speaker 1: Meredith Graham, and I think that in her life, I
- 12:09Speaker 1: think she might only see herself as Meredith Gray, So
- 12:12Speaker 1: it would be weird to now turn around and start
- 12:14Speaker 1: a new chapter as somebody else. Yeah, and after seventeen
- 12:18Speaker 1: years of earning I think twenty million dollars a year.
- 12:20Speaker 1: She don't need to work again, so she's done. Whence
- 12:23Speaker 1: this is over, we'll never see her again. And she
- 12:25Speaker 1: did say I thought it's interesting. She has no interest
- 12:27Speaker 1: in sitting in a trailer at eleven o'clock at night
- 12:30Speaker 1: waiting for someone to tell her she can shoot a scene.
- 12:33Speaker 1: She doesn't want to do that. She has too much
- 12:34Speaker 1: money to do that. Now. She's not going to be
- 12:36Speaker 1: doing that ever again. Would you, Donnie, if you hit
- 12:39Speaker 1: the jackpots? If we got twenty million dollars a year
- 12:42Speaker 1: for this podcast when the podcast ended, would you disappear?
- 12:46Speaker 1: Why wouldn't that disappear? But I've already had in my
- 12:49Speaker 1: whole life planned out if I ever got on a
- 12:51Speaker 1: hit show US since he'sons, highly need five seasons. I
- 12:53Speaker 1: just need enough money to have a little bit of fun,
- 12:57Speaker 1: and it runs forever somewhere in the world, so she's
- 12:58Speaker 1: always getting a check from it. I enjoy doing this,
- 13:01Speaker 1: So if my ship came in, if I hit the jackpot,
- 13:03Speaker 1: I think I'd always do the podcast. I don't know
- 13:06Speaker 1: if i'd ever write another book. That was a lot
- 13:08Speaker 1: of work. That's a lot of work that wasn't a
- 13:10Speaker 1: lot of work a lot of words, and it's very
- 13:13Speaker 1: solitary if you do it by yourself. When you're right,
- 13:16Speaker 1: you're just sitting there by yourself with a podcast interactive.
- 13:19Speaker 1: I do enjoy this so honestly, even if I became
- 13:22Speaker 1: super super rich, I think I'd always do the podcast.
- 13:26Speaker 1: But I do understand what what what she's saying. After
- 13:29Speaker 1: seventeen seasons enough, I think she's done. Jennad One is
- 13:34Speaker 1: saying that Shannon Taton wasn't available when she gave birth.
- 13:39Speaker 1: So Jenna is talking about the struggles in her life
- 13:42Speaker 1: and the early days of motherhood when she gave birth
- 13:46Speaker 1: to her little daughter, and she's revealing for the first
- 13:49Speaker 1: time it was very difficult because Channon was actually at work.
- 13:53Speaker 1: He wasn't around, he wasn't available, so she felt like
- 13:57Speaker 1: a single mom. Then not together anymore, and now she's
- 14:00Speaker 1: had a new baby with her new husband, and she's saying,
- 14:03Speaker 1: this time it's very different. This is quite a dick.
- 14:07Speaker 1: I mean, I think he definitely texted her and was
- 14:10Speaker 1: like sweetie like, but they've had a very contentious split.
- 14:13Speaker 1: Whenever they broke up, it was got really ugly and
- 14:16Speaker 1: really nasty. And I'm not a siding with Channing here.
- 14:20Speaker 1: I want people to think that. But Channing was at
- 14:22Speaker 1: the height of his faint Magic Mike and all that
- 14:24Speaker 1: was hugely popular. He was cashing in on it, so
- 14:27Speaker 1: he was working. Is it fair that she had to
- 14:29Speaker 1: stay home and take care of the daughter. No, but
- 14:32Speaker 1: you can kind of understand where he was working. Now.
- 14:36Speaker 1: The shocking part for me is that she's decided to
- 14:39Speaker 1: tell the whole world. This paint him as a really
- 14:41Speaker 1: bad father. And I don't think he is. I think
- 14:44Speaker 1: he's involved in his daughter's life. I think he's around.
- 14:48Speaker 1: But yeah, it really paints him. The headline is a
- 14:50Speaker 1: shocking headline. Isn't it a shock she was saying this
- 14:53Speaker 1: and revealing it now. But we do love it when
- 14:56Speaker 1: you celebrities gossip. He keeps us in business. Hey, we're
- 14:58Speaker 1: gonna take a quick break and we will be right back.
- 15:03Speaker 1: Welcome back to the manor but nic show up your
- 15:06Speaker 1: head with a friend. Donny me jam from Okay magazine
- 15:09Speaker 1: dot com. Hey, Donna, let's get to the polls. Darling
- 15:14Speaker 1: Alex Rodriguez is boasting about his big d energy. You
- 15:19Speaker 1: know what I mean. Think about it. It took me
- 15:21Speaker 1: a minute. It really did like, I hate talking about sex,
- 15:26Speaker 1: but big d energy win quin everyone, you know what
- 15:29Speaker 1: I'm talking about. Do you think a Rod is telling
- 15:32Speaker 1: the truth. What I'm basically asking here is do you
- 15:35Speaker 1: think a Rod is as big as he clearly thinks
- 15:39Speaker 1: he is. Let's have a look at the polls. Said No,
- 15:43Speaker 1: I think when you talk about things like this, it's
- 15:48Speaker 1: often to over compensate. What do you think, Donnie, Remember
- 15:52Speaker 1: we're a family show. Handled this very carefully. Well, I'm
- 15:56Speaker 1: just gonna say I never talk about mine, Thank goodness. Oh,
- 16:03Speaker 1: I get what you. People protest too much. They make
- 16:06Speaker 1: it sound like they're so big and and if anybody
- 16:11Speaker 1: tells you they're deep, they're not. They're really shallow. Now,
- 16:14Speaker 1: deep people don't say they're deep. They don't. Only shallow
- 16:18Speaker 1: people say they're deep. And here maybe people who say
- 16:22Speaker 1: they are big are not quite as big as they think.
- 16:26Speaker 1: Said no, I agree with the ninety but said don't
- 16:30Speaker 1: forget to vote on today's poll. Go to our Twitter
- 16:33Speaker 1: page at Naughty Nice Rob or our Facebook pages naughty
- 16:36Speaker 1: Godhaid and be sure to check back tomorrow to hear
- 16:39Speaker 1: your results. And now it's time for our nicest of
- 16:44Speaker 1: the day. Well, The nicest of the day is the
- 16:49Speaker 1: other royal family, Kate and William, because they were able
- 16:53Speaker 1: to secretly get away with their kids on vacation. So
- 16:58Speaker 1: Kate and William had been reptively low key the last
- 17:01Speaker 1: few weeks. Well, it was revealed that the couple actually
- 17:04Speaker 1: quietly took a vacation with their children, Prince George, Princess
- 17:08Speaker 1: Charlotte and Prince Louis what people think. They didn't they
- 17:12Speaker 1: were going abroad. Now they actually stayed fairly close to home,
- 17:16Speaker 1: in the Isle of Silly. I love. I had to pronounce,
- 17:20Speaker 1: had to go to Google and see how to pronounce
- 17:21Speaker 1: it before I said it. It's so British. It's in Cornwall.
- 17:24Speaker 1: I've actually been there. It's like a little island. You
- 17:27Speaker 1: can only get to it by a helicopter or like
- 17:30Speaker 1: a fairy there's no road to us like this little island.
- 17:34Speaker 1: It looks like it's from the time, the land that
- 17:37Speaker 1: time forgot. It's so beautiful. When you think of the
- 17:40Speaker 1: English countryside and you think of the cottages and the
- 17:44Speaker 1: rolling hills, that's what this little island is. So it
- 17:48Speaker 1: makes sense that they went there, and I think they
- 17:51Speaker 1: pretty much were undercover. I did see they all went
- 17:54Speaker 1: biking together. I love that they can get away for
- 17:58Speaker 1: three weeks and sort of regular people. It's sort of
- 18:02Speaker 1: amazing they did not take chefs with them, more assistance
- 18:05Speaker 1: or Butler's j Lo has more staff with her on
- 18:08Speaker 1: that yacht with Ben in Italy, and these do on
- 18:12Speaker 1: the island and nicest of the day and now and
- 18:16Speaker 1: naughtiest of the day. So Matt Damon is now denying
- 18:21Speaker 1: that he ever used the F slur to make a
- 18:24Speaker 1: homophobic comment. This story is so bizarre. So Matt Damon
- 18:29Speaker 1: has issued a news statement denying that he ever used
- 18:31Speaker 1: the F word in his personal life, despite a recent
- 18:35Speaker 1: interview where he suggested otherwise. So he spots outrage after
- 18:40Speaker 1: doing an interview of The London Times, which is a
- 18:42Speaker 1: real serious newspaper. They don't think. They don't take things
- 18:45Speaker 1: out of context, they don't make up quotes. It's a
- 18:47Speaker 1: real serious newspaper. So he told the London Times that
- 18:51Speaker 1: he had retired the offensive word. Now, you can only
- 18:55Speaker 1: retire an offensive word if you use it. If you
- 18:58Speaker 1: don't use it, then you don't have to retire it.
- 19:01Speaker 1: He went on to say that he made a joke
- 19:03Speaker 1: about it and he got told off from his daughter.
- 19:06Speaker 1: In fact, his daughter was so upset she got up
- 19:08Speaker 1: and left the table, so he clearly said the word.
- 19:11Speaker 1: Now Matt is insisting that he never called anyone the
- 19:14Speaker 1: F word and implied the conversation was taken out of context.
- 19:19Speaker 1: He's put out a big statement saying he's never called
- 19:21Speaker 1: anybody the F word and doesn't use slurs, and he
- 19:24Speaker 1: wants us all to know that he stands with the
- 19:26Speaker 1: LGBTQ community, which I think he does. I don't think
- 19:30Speaker 1: he's a homophobe, but this story was just so bizarre,
- 19:34Speaker 1: talking about putting your fun in your mouth. It's left
- 19:36Speaker 1: me feeling really strange. Donnie, what do you think? I
- 19:40Speaker 1: think it's the same thing as we were saying with
- 19:41Speaker 1: Alex Death. Don't protests too much. I think you were
- 19:45Speaker 1: no reason for you to say you've retired it if
- 19:47Speaker 1: you've never used it. I do trying to rationalize the
- 19:50Speaker 1: thing is. I think Matt is trying to say that
- 19:52Speaker 1: he's never directly called somebody there, but he's not saying
- 19:55Speaker 1: he's never used the word, right, I hope so, in
- 19:59Speaker 1: which case they're white. He says his daughter got up
- 20:01Speaker 1: from the table and walked away. And you can say
- 20:03Speaker 1: when I was growing up in Boston that word was
- 20:06Speaker 1: used a lot. When I was growing up in Birmingham, England,
- 20:09Speaker 1: that word was used a lot. I don't use that word.
- 20:11Speaker 1: I don't use that word, and I certainly wouldn't use
- 20:14Speaker 1: it at a table with children around. And it's just
- 20:16Speaker 1: also bizarre. Matt. You're the naughtiest of the day. And
- 20:20Speaker 1: now it's time for a moment off Rob. You got
- 20:22Speaker 1: a Robbibi thank you darning sponsored by my new book,
- 20:26Speaker 1: The Forward answer who are You? In four words say,
- 20:29Speaker 1: also really good today, Donnie. I don't know what happened.
- 20:32Speaker 1: I'm doing these videos every day, so my book people,
- 20:35Speaker 1: my publisher, Hello Anthony A lower lower lower suggested each
- 20:38Speaker 1: day I make these like two minutes one minute videos
- 20:41Speaker 1: where I take a sentence from the book and I
- 20:43Speaker 1: sit in my living room and I look at the
- 20:44Speaker 1: camera and I deliver the sentence and I put them
- 20:47Speaker 1: on Facebook, I put them on Instagram. I think I
- 20:49Speaker 1: have a YouTube channel and there might be working done
- 20:52Speaker 1: because yesterday we sold a ton of books. So thank you,
- 20:54Speaker 1: thank you, thank you. Today's moment of Rob. But think
- 20:58Speaker 1: about the last time someone was kind to you didn't
- 21:01Speaker 1: it feel great? It felt really great, didn't it. Now,
- 21:04Speaker 1: Think about the last time you did something kind for
- 21:06Speaker 1: somebody else. I bet that felt even better. Come on,
- 21:10Speaker 1: admit it, it felt really good. So this only adds
- 21:12Speaker 1: to the mystery why are we not kind? More often?
- 21:17Speaker 1: Be kind? It feels really good to be kind. It
- 21:20Speaker 1: feels really good to receive kindness. There's no no dance
- 21:24Speaker 1: side here. Be kind. Hey, that's it for today. Thank
- 21:27Speaker 1: you so much for listening to The Naughty but Nice
- 21:30Speaker 1: with Rob and Donnie Shower, a production of I Heart Radio.
- 21:34Speaker 1: Don't forget to subscribe on the I Heart Radio app
- 21:37Speaker 1: Apple podcast wherever you listen, leave us a review and
- 21:40Speaker 1: getting some quotes and some emails and some text. We
- 21:44Speaker 1: take a pilot for the Naughty but Nice Show, so
- 21:47Speaker 1: I Heart approached us about turning the podcast into a
- 21:50Speaker 1: TV show. We did the pilot a couple of weeks
- 21:53Speaker 1: ago and paid six leaked it. They announced it, and
- 21:56Speaker 1: so because it's out now, I posted a few pictures.
- 21:59Speaker 1: Donnie was not at the taping, so people have seen
- 22:02Speaker 1: the pictures. They want to know where you are, Donna.
- 22:05Speaker 1: Donnie's in l A. It was not It just didn't
- 22:07Speaker 1: make sense to fly Donnie into New York to do
- 22:10Speaker 1: a pilot. If when the pilot cells, of course, Donnie
- 22:16Speaker 1: will be part of this show. So everybody relax. Donnie's
- 22:19Speaker 1: not going anywhere. Lower, lower, lower, lower. You didn't feel
- 22:23Speaker 1: like your nose was put out a joint, Donnie. You
- 22:24Speaker 1: understood the logistics of it, didn't you. My friend, absolutely,
- 22:28Speaker 1: And I've known you for a long time and you
- 22:30Speaker 1: were flat out straight up with me and you've always
- 22:32Speaker 1: had my back and I know you would. There you go.
- 22:35Speaker 1: Don't trust him that much. You all should. And remember everybody,
- 22:38Speaker 1: let's say this altogether now. If you're going to me naughty,
- 22:45Speaker 1: take care of everybody with
