- 0:10Speaker 1: I'm not sure if I can keep talking to you
- 0:12Speaker 1: with this thing on. Happy Halloween, Chris. And happy Halloween
- 0:16Speaker 1: to y'all. This is Get to the Point, the Halloween edition.
- 0:19Speaker 2: Hit them with a web. What up, y'all? This is
- 0:28Speaker 2: Get to the Point.
- 0:29Speaker 1: I'm Chris Spencer, and that's T.O. You going to keep
- 0:31Speaker 1: that on the whole time?
- 0:33Speaker 2: I'm Spider-Man. Got it. Do you know who I am?
- 0:39Speaker 2: You're dead. No, not dead. You're a dead president. Dead president.
- 0:43Speaker 1: See, I couldn't hear you because you got on the
- 0:45Speaker 1: damn mask.
- 0:46Speaker 2: All right, I hope you melt. This is to get
- 0:48Speaker 2: to the point. You're a dead president.
- 0:50Speaker 1: We're going to be doing a lot of things. Also,
- 0:52Speaker 1: because it's NBA time, my favorite sport, the sport that
- 0:56Speaker 1: he probably could have played a little.
- 0:57Speaker 2: Ain't no problem. Yeah.
- 1:00Speaker 1: No, you definitely could have played D1. I'm talking about
- 1:02Speaker 1: could you have gone to the next level in basketball?
- 1:04Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, I definitely could have gone to the next level.
- 1:06Speaker 2: You think so? Absolutely. You would have been a two
- 1:08Speaker 2: or a three. Um, probably like a, I'd probably say
- 1:14Speaker 2: a 2-3.
- 1:14Speaker 3: 2-3?
- 1:15Speaker 2: Whatever Scotty Pippen plays.
- 1:17Speaker 1: Scotty Pippen's 6'10.
- 1:19Speaker 2: Scotty Pippen was very athletic.
- 1:21Speaker 1: I know, but you couldn't have played no power forward,
- 1:25Speaker 1: power forward, small forward.
- 1:26Speaker 2: He used his athleticism to get to the basket.
- 1:29Speaker 1: I think you would have been a 2. Because you're
- 1:31Speaker 1: a good shooter. You're very athletic.
- 1:32Speaker 2: Yeah. Especially today.
- 1:34Speaker 1: You'd have been like a Dame.
- 1:35Speaker 3: My shooting would have improved for all the people that
- 1:38Speaker 3: are like, oh, he can't shoot right now.
- 1:40Speaker 2: No, you should. Listen, I played with you. I get it,
- 1:42Speaker 2: but I get it. You shot well when you were open. Yeah,
- 1:44Speaker 2: my shooting would have improved.
- 1:46Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:47Speaker 2: That is for sure.
- 1:47Speaker 1: Who would you have compared yourself to in the NBA
- 1:49Speaker 1: right now? I said Dame, but I forgot I'm more
- 1:51Speaker 1: like Dame.
- 1:53Speaker 2: Who would you be? Right now?
- 1:57Speaker 1: Who has game like you?
- 2:02Speaker 2: Some dudes. Ain't nobody. Ja? No, no. I ain't got
- 2:08Speaker 2: no hops like Ja. I can get above the rim.
- 2:11Speaker 2: Not like Ja, though. All right.
- 2:13Speaker 3: But if I could envision myself like somebody, it would
- 2:17Speaker 3: be Ant Edwards.
- 2:19Speaker 2: He'd jump higher than Ja.
- 2:20Speaker 4: I know.
- 2:20Speaker 2: I'm just saying, if I envision myself like somebody. He'd
- 2:24Speaker 2: be half Spider-Man, half Anthony Edwards.
- 2:27Speaker 5: What?
- 2:28Speaker 1: So listen, let's talk about football.
- 2:31Speaker 2: Football. Let's talk some football.
- 2:33Speaker 1: Bengals, Ravens, you picked the Bengals.
- 2:36Speaker 2: I picked the Bengals. Yeah, Joe Burrow. Balled out.
- 2:40Speaker 1: He balled out. That's what I'm saying.
- 2:42Speaker 2: 22 for 30, 292 yards, four touchdowns. All in the
- 2:45Speaker 2: second half. Is that crazy?
- 2:47Speaker 3: No.
- 2:47Speaker 2: Who do you compare him to? Me. He's a quarterback.
- 2:51Speaker 1: I know you got the Spider-Man outfit. You can do everything.
- 2:53Speaker 2: He's great.
- 2:54Speaker 1: From back in the days when you played, back then.
- 2:57Speaker 1: I mean, this dude is quite special.
- 3:01Speaker 2: Who do you compare him to?
- 3:05Speaker 1: Jeff Garcia.
- 3:07Speaker 2: It's like a Jim Kelly type. Dan Marino.
- 3:12Speaker 4: Rugged.
- 3:14Speaker 1: Cincinnati scored 35 unanswered points in the second half.
- 3:17Speaker 2: Hey, he did. What happens? What happens?
- 3:19Speaker 1: The Ravens, it was 13-0 for a while.
- 3:22Speaker 2: Yeah. All of a sudden, I think I went to
- 3:23Speaker 2: the bathroom.
- 3:24Speaker 1: I came back.
- 3:24Speaker 2: It was 14-13. Hey, look.
- 3:27Speaker 1: Then it was halftime, and then it was 35-13. Hey,
- 3:28Speaker 1: let me tell you something.
- 3:30Speaker 3: There's a lot of things that have been happening in
- 3:31Speaker 3: college and in the NFL with one second left on
- 3:34Speaker 3: the clock, let alone.
- 3:36Speaker 2: A second half. Yes.
- 3:39Speaker 1: It was embarrassing. And, you know, my daughter probably stopped.
- 3:42Speaker 1: She stopped watching.
- 3:42Speaker 2: I know.
- 3:44Speaker 1: And what's funny is Zay Flowers was balling in the
- 3:46Speaker 1: first half.
- 3:46Speaker 2: Bella, I am so sorry.
- 3:50Speaker 3: I don't know what has happened to your Ravens, but
- 3:54Speaker 3: hopefully they can regroup next week.
- 3:56Speaker 2: Stay tuned. What's doper to see?
- 3:58Speaker 1: You killing the whole game or to come back in
- 4:00Speaker 1: the second half and just dominate?
- 4:03Speaker 2: Come back and dominate.
- 4:05Speaker 3: Because you can't kill if you just kill in the
- 4:08Speaker 3: first half because there's always two halves to a game.
- 4:10Speaker 3: That's why everybody always say go in the halftime no
- 4:13Speaker 3: matter what the score is. When you come out, it's
- 4:15Speaker 3: kind of like 0-0 in a sense. But you got
- 4:18Speaker 3: to come out and you got to basically correct those mistakes.
- 4:23Speaker 3: I mean, whatever they may be. It could be mental.
- 4:26Speaker 3: It could be not executing. Some guys may, like I said,
- 4:29Speaker 3: it depends on what coast they're on. Maybe their body hasn't.
- 4:33Speaker 3: Woken up yet, or waking up, whatever you call it.
- 4:37Speaker 3: But yeah, these guys, if you look at, like I said,
- 4:41Speaker 3: what the adjustments that the Bengals made in the second half,
- 4:45Speaker 3: obviously it starts with the quarterback play. Somebody came to play.
- 4:48Speaker 3: Number nine came to play. Obviously, when you have a
- 4:51Speaker 3: guy like Jamar Chase on the team that makes your
- 4:54Speaker 3: job easy, T. Higgins, both of those receivers in Jamar Chase,
- 4:58Speaker 3: both of those receivers in Jamar Chase and T.
- 5:00Speaker 2: Higgins, this is what I'm talking about when I talk about.
- 5:05Speaker 3: Playmakers, game changers, opposed to those guys with the star
- 5:09Speaker 3: on the side of the helmet, the Dallas Cowboys guy,
- 5:11Speaker 3: everybody keeps telling me, ah, you know, why you keep
- 5:14Speaker 3: trashing the Cowboys? You know, look, man, you got to
- 5:18Speaker 3: have receivers that are going to put the ball into
- 5:20Speaker 3: the end zone. Quarterback got to put it in play,
- 5:23Speaker 3: but they got to put the ball in the end zone. Okay.
- 5:27Speaker 1: You lost this one.
- 5:29Speaker 2: Falcons, 49ers. Damn, Pennix.
- 5:32Speaker 1: Oh, man, that was a tough day at the office. 25-34,
- 5:36Speaker 1: 213 passing yards, three touchdowns.
- 5:39Speaker 3: Honestly, I didn't see this happening.
- 5:41Speaker 2: I didn't see this happening at all. No longer undefeated.
- 5:45Speaker 4: No.
- 5:46Speaker 3: There's a couple of teams that went into this weekend
- 5:49Speaker 3: undefeated that's no longer undefeated.
- 5:51Speaker 2: There's only one team. One team undefeated right now. Minnesota.
- 5:55Speaker 3: That's the Minnesota Vikings. And right now, I don't really
- 5:58Speaker 3: see anybody beating them. Like I said, they've been kind
- 6:00Speaker 3: of flying under the radar, just handling business. But as
- 6:04Speaker 3: it pertains to this 49ers-Falcons game, I did not.
- 6:09Speaker 2: Man, I would have been out of a house and
- 6:12Speaker 2: a home, a car and.
- 6:13Speaker 3: Everything because I would have bet everything that they were
- 6:18Speaker 3: going to come out undefeated this weekend.
- 6:21Speaker 2: Another team that ain't undefeated no more. The Chiefs.
- 6:24Speaker 1: The Chiefs lost to the Seahawks.
- 6:27Speaker 2: No, I'm talking about they got beat down.
- 6:29Speaker 3: 20-3.
- 6:29Speaker 2: They got beat down.
- 6:30Speaker 1: Mahomes only had 165 yards.
- 6:33Speaker 2: Beat down. I saw some of this game.
- 6:36Speaker 3: Xavier Worthy, he has to play better. This is a
- 6:41Speaker 3: guy that was drafted really high coming out of Texas. Obviously,
- 6:45Speaker 3: still young, still has a lot of growth to his game,
- 6:49Speaker 3: but he has to make plays.
- 6:51Speaker 2: He has to be.
- 6:54Speaker 3: He has to be a playmaker. You got the game
- 6:56Speaker 3: changer in Patrick Mahomes. He has to be a playmaker
- 7:00Speaker 3: for this team in order for them to get.
- 7:02Speaker 2: Over the hump.
- 7:03Speaker 3: I saw some plays going to Travis Kelsey.
- 7:06Speaker 2: It was a lot of heavy Travis Kelsey.
- 7:08Speaker 3: You're not going to win a lot of games depending
- 7:11Speaker 3: on the tight end.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Kenneth Walker, you've been balling out of control. Nice little homecoming.
- 7:18Speaker 2: Was MVP. It was a hopeful homecoming.
- 7:23Speaker 1: It was horrible. How do you handle that when everybody
- 7:25Speaker 1: knows you're getting the ball?
- 7:27Speaker 3: Well, there's a number of factors that go into this.
- 7:30Speaker 3: Number one, especially as a running back, you have to
- 7:33Speaker 3: honestly rely on your front line. Yeah, your front five, seven,
- 7:39Speaker 3: the line to obviously create holes for him to be
- 7:42Speaker 3: as dynamic as he's been the first six weeks.
- 7:47Speaker 2: As a receiver, it's not as tough. Because we can.
- 7:54Speaker 3: Move around formationally to get ourselves open. But when you
- 8:02Speaker 3: just came from a team, they know everything pretty much.
- 8:06Speaker 2: That you can do. They know your every move. Right.
- 8:10Speaker 2: And it's tougher for a running back because Those guys,
- 8:16Speaker 2: he was.
- 8:16Speaker 3: The Super Bowl MVP for that team last year. When
- 8:22Speaker 3: you think about defensively, they know. He was just with
- 8:26Speaker 3: them just a year ago, cheering them on.
- 8:31Speaker 2: They knew what he did. Now you're playing against that team,
- 8:35Speaker 2: that defense, that knows if he gets loose, you can
- 8:37Speaker 2: hit him a sliver of a crack gong.
- 8:40Speaker 3: He had, I mean, he's averaging 133 yards a game
- 8:44Speaker 3: thus far.
- 8:46Speaker 2: He barely mustered 40 yards in this game.
- 8:49Speaker 3: That's because they put, they stacked people in the box
- 8:54Speaker 3: and he had no running room. So the best thing
- 8:57Speaker 3: for the Kansas City Chiefs to have done was to
- 9:01Speaker 3: really kind of loosen the secondary up a little bit.
- 9:05Speaker 3: They know this team front and backwards. So it's really tough.
- 9:08Speaker 3: And I know he was very frustrated. I saw at
- 9:11Speaker 3: the end of the game, he didn't talk to nobody.
- 9:14Speaker 3: He made a beeline to the locker room. And I
- 9:17Speaker 3: know that feeling, especially going back to Seattle.
- 9:19Speaker 2: Yeah, is it? Is it just one game? Yes. But
- 9:22Speaker 2: when you go back to your former team, You want
- 9:26Speaker 2: to ball out. You want to get off.
- 9:27Speaker 3: And then you win the Super Bowl MVP and they
- 9:30Speaker 3: don't even bring you back.
- 9:32Speaker 2: It's almost like you're expendable, you're disposable.
- 9:35Speaker 3: So I know it wasn't the best night, but at
- 9:37Speaker 3: the end of the day, he's going to bounce back
- 9:39Speaker 3: in just one game. But kudos to that defensive front unit,
- 9:43Speaker 3: that whole defensive unit, to shut him down. Because if
- 9:46Speaker 3: you think this may be a recipe for the rest
- 9:49Speaker 3: of the season for a lot of people watching this game,
- 9:51Speaker 3: you shut down the running game, you shut the Kansas
- 9:54Speaker 3: City Chiefs down. And I think, too, you think about
- 9:57Speaker 3: sort of the questions you ask about what do you
- 10:01Speaker 3: do and how do you prepare when everybody knows you're.
- 10:03Speaker 2: Going to get the ball.
- 10:03Speaker 1: Yeah, because I'm sure you got that all the time.
- 10:05Speaker 2: I did.
- 10:06Speaker 3: Once I started to evolve and really started to make
- 10:08Speaker 3: some noise. But let's talk about the Seattle Seahawks receiver, JSN.
- 10:14Speaker 3: He didn't particularly have the greatest Super Bowl because, again,
- 10:17Speaker 3: you think about Everybody knew he was going to get
- 10:19Speaker 3: the ball, too. They shut him down. They had to
- 10:23Speaker 3: find other ways to win. So, again, when you start
- 10:25Speaker 3: to focus off one thing, one part of the offense
- 10:29Speaker 3: or another, then the other part has to show up.
- 10:32Speaker 3: As you saw, look at what JSN did for the
- 10:35Speaker 3: Seattle Seahawks. Got in the end zone one time. I think, what,
- 10:41Speaker 3: nine catches, 150 yards. You got to think it. Everybody
- 10:46Speaker 3: knew he was going to get the ball, too. But
- 10:48Speaker 3: like I said, it's an easier task for a receiver.
- 10:52Speaker 2: Knowing that you're going to get the ball versus a
- 10:54Speaker 2: running back.
- 10:56Speaker 1: How can they shut you down? Are you saying that
- 10:58Speaker 1: the strong safety or the free safety is going to
- 10:59Speaker 1: be leaning more towards your way?
- 11:02Speaker 2: There's a number of ways.
- 11:04Speaker 3: Obviously, they pay a lot of cover, too. Shade, especially
- 11:10Speaker 3: if you're dynamic, guys like Randy Moss and myself, guys,
- 11:15Speaker 3: Calvin Johnson.
- 11:15Speaker 2: That really like was just a threat, just terror on
- 11:19Speaker 2: the back end. They made sure that they kind of
- 11:22Speaker 2: really wiped you out.
- 11:24Speaker 3: Like literally it was a situation where you're playing, you know,
- 11:27Speaker 3: really kind of 11 on 10. So in a situation
- 11:32Speaker 3: like that, you just have to just stay patient because
- 11:36Speaker 3: at some point, you know, things are going to loosen up.
- 11:40Speaker 2: Again, it's just one of those things like when you
- 11:41Speaker 2: know you're good, That's kind of like it's a good thing,
- 11:45Speaker 2: but it's a bad thing because you don't want to
- 11:46Speaker 2: get out of your game. You don't want to get frustrated.
- 11:48Speaker 3: But at the end of the day, as long as
- 11:50Speaker 3: you're winning ballgames and if you're taking yourself out, then
- 11:54Speaker 3: that means somebody else is open. That means somebody else
- 11:56Speaker 3: has to step up. So it's always going to be
- 11:59Speaker 3: those type of situations. But, yeah, swaying the coverage, pushing
- 12:05Speaker 3: the coverage towards your way, especially if you're a game-changer.
- 12:08Speaker 3: It's one thing you can shut down a playmaker, but
- 12:10Speaker 3: when you shut down a game-changer, That's when the game changes.
- 12:14Speaker 1: Bears beat the Patriots.
- 12:16Speaker 2: Yeah. Caleb is on a tear. You know, Caleb, I
- 12:20Speaker 2: wear my colored fingernails, Williams, every weekend. Chilling. This dude,
- 12:27Speaker 2: he's balling.
- 12:27Speaker 1: And what's funny is it was two or three weeks
- 12:29Speaker 1: ago he got carted off like we thought it was done.
- 12:32Speaker 2: What? Miraculous comeback. But, no, I mean— He better be
- 12:36Speaker 2: in the.
- 12:36Speaker 1: Popcorn top five for this game. He had 308 yards passing.
- 12:38Speaker 2: Well, let's see. 308 yards. Pump your brakes.
- 12:43Speaker 1: I'm just saying he better be. I didn't say he
- 12:44Speaker 1: had to be number one.
- 12:44Speaker 2: Pump your brakes, dead president.
- 12:45Speaker 1: But he got to be in there somewhere.
- 12:46Speaker 2: Pump your brakes, dead president.
- 12:48Speaker 1: I keep forgetting I look like that. Lions-Packers.
- 12:53Speaker 2: Lions-Packers. Oh, man, I picked the Packers to win this one.
- 12:56Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 12:57Speaker 2: Man, in Jordan Love, I trusted. It was an ugly win, though.
- 13:01Speaker 1: That still counts, right?
- 13:02Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, a win is a win.
- 13:05Speaker 3: Again, these wins at the end of the day, when
- 13:08Speaker 3: you look at the end of the season, when you
- 13:09Speaker 3: look at the win-loss column.
- 13:11Speaker 2: It doesn't say how much. Or how pretty. Yeah, how pretty.
- 13:14Speaker 2: All it is is WRL.
- 13:18Speaker 1: So that was an NFC North conference matchup.
- 13:20Speaker 2: Yeah. Both of them was 4-2.
- 13:23Speaker 1: I guess it was equally important for each team to win? No, no,
- 13:27Speaker 1: for sure.
- 13:27Speaker 3: Because when you think about when it comes to these
- 13:30Speaker 3: playoff implications– All these games matter. And I think too,
- 13:34Speaker 3: I mean, these are somewhat statement games too, because again,
- 13:38Speaker 3: you want to go in, you want to obviously, you
- 13:39Speaker 3: want to establish, you know, what type of team you
- 13:42Speaker 3: are as a, as a whole. Are you going to
- 13:45Speaker 3: be a defensive minded team? Is it, you know, are
- 13:48Speaker 3: you going to rely on just a high powered, you know, you.
- 13:52Speaker 2: Know, passing game?
- 13:53Speaker 3: It seems that they have somewhat of a balance with
- 13:57Speaker 3: the Packers and, they're relying a lot, you know, and
- 14:01Speaker 3: then Josh Jacobs, he's just now coming back too. Um,
- 14:04Speaker 3: so I think that he's just going to come back
- 14:05Speaker 3: into the fold once he starts to find his rhythm.
- 14:08Speaker 3: If you saw, if you watch that game, Josh, I mean,
- 14:12Speaker 3: made a, made a hell of a run. Um, he
- 14:14Speaker 3: has a lot of ability and Alabama product at that. Um,
- 14:18Speaker 3: so I expect nothing less, uh, once he gets a
- 14:20Speaker 3: couple of games under his belt and he's going to
- 14:22Speaker 3: get more involved into the offense. So, Again, I'm sure
- 14:25Speaker 3: Matt LaFleur, I think he's going to, you know, ease
- 14:28Speaker 3: him back into the floor of the game. But, yeah,
- 14:31Speaker 3: this is a game, again, I thought the Packers would win. But, hey, man,
- 14:35Speaker 3: they're playing well. The Bears are playing well.
- 14:37Speaker 2: That one undefeated team. The Minnesota Vikings. Oh, yeah, the Minutes.
- 14:43Speaker 2: Go Skulls.
- 14:44Speaker 1: They beat the Colts 16-10.
- 14:45Speaker 2: They 6-0. Is this a surprise?
- 14:49Speaker 3: It is a little bit of a surprise, especially with
- 14:51Speaker 3: the quarterback controversy early on, Kyler Murray, J.J. McCarthy, and
- 14:56Speaker 3: then obviously now he's no longer there. This is definitely
- 14:59Speaker 3: Kyler Murray's team. And I've seen some commentary about Kyler
- 15:04Speaker 3: Murray's game and how they're winning.
- 15:06Speaker 2: It doesn't matter. It's not going to.
- 15:07Speaker 3: Look pretty every weekend. I think Kyler, again, he's getting
- 15:11Speaker 3: familiar with his new players. They're getting familiar with him.
- 15:15Speaker 3: The coaches are getting familiar with what Kyler can do
- 15:18Speaker 3: and can't do and what he does best. Again, not
- 15:22Speaker 3: the tallest guy, but he's making it happen. He's playing
- 15:25Speaker 3: big when it matters.
- 15:26Speaker 2: You picked this one, Browns over Titans.
- 15:29Speaker 3: Yeah, so with this game, I mean, Deshaun Watson, he's
- 15:33Speaker 3: playing well. Like I said, you asked me about surprising,
- 15:38Speaker 3: really wins and records and state of their team.
- 15:43Speaker 2: I can't be proud.
- 15:44Speaker 3: You know, I've been raving about Deshaun Watson from day one.
- 15:48Speaker 3: This is the Deshaun Watson I think everybody's been wanting.
- 15:50Speaker 2: To see and waiting to see.
- 15:53Speaker 3: Obviously, with all the off the field issues, I think
- 15:57Speaker 3: those things are in the rear view mirror for him.
- 16:00Speaker 2: He's moving forward. He's moving on.
- 16:02Speaker 3: And I think obviously the organization, they're moving on with him.
- 16:06Speaker 3: They've given him an opportunity and he has answered the bell. Again,
- 16:12Speaker 3: you obviously want to put the ball in the end
- 16:14Speaker 3: zone through the air, but it doesn't matter whether it's running, passing. Deshaun,
- 16:18Speaker 3: I think when you don't see the stats really just
- 16:23Speaker 3: pop off the paper, obviously 300 yards, but obviously you
- 16:27Speaker 3: want to see some touchdowns in there. Definitely no interceptions.
- 16:31Speaker 3: But this game right here, if it's not, what doesn't
- 16:36Speaker 3: show on the stat sheet is leadership. And I think
- 16:40Speaker 3: this is this is this is Deshaun showing leadership and
- 16:45Speaker 3: they're winning their team winning in a fashion in which
- 16:49Speaker 3: they're supposed to win. And so obviously going on the road,
- 16:52Speaker 3: you want to win those games on the road.
- 16:53Speaker 2: And I think. They're on the track to do something
- 16:55Speaker 2: special this year. So watch out. I'm telling y'all, don't
- 16:58Speaker 2: sleep on the Browns. The Dolphins are now up on
- 17:00Speaker 2: the board. Who did they beat? The Jets? They beat
- 17:03Speaker 2: the Jets. They beat the Jets. Nobody happy for them? Anybody?
- 17:05Speaker 2: Anybody here? Dolphins? I mean, this is... On the board?
- 17:09Speaker 2: There's a bowl. This would have been the toilet bowl.
- 17:13Speaker 2: Nobody's watching that. We can just go to them. We
- 17:16Speaker 2: can flush this one down the toilet. We'll see what's
- 17:18Speaker 2: up next. I'm proud of you, Miami Dolphins. Okay. Damn it.
- 17:23Speaker 2: Denver beat the Cardinals.
- 17:25Speaker 1: So, Nick's had a total of 295 yards. He threw
- 17:29Speaker 1: for 222. He ran for 73. And one of them
- 17:32Speaker 1: was for a 62-yard touchdown.
- 17:33Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 17:33Speaker 1: How do you feel about him now?
- 17:36Speaker 2: We've never ever dissed him. No, I never dissed him. Yeah,
- 17:38Speaker 2: I mean, this is a team I think is going
- 17:39Speaker 2: to be, they're going to be in the mix. Come
- 17:43Speaker 2: playoff time?
- 17:43Speaker 3: Yeah, come late December, early January. They're going to find
- 17:47Speaker 3: themselves in the mix. And, again, if anything, if last
- 17:51Speaker 3: year is an indicator of what this team could be, look,
- 17:55Speaker 3: if they find their stride and they really find, uh.
- 17:58Speaker 2: Their rhythm special, I think with Bo Nix. And I
- 18:00Speaker 2: think you're starting to see that. That's why I always
- 18:01Speaker 2: say this.
- 18:02Speaker 3: It's everybody gets all up in arms, you know, teams
- 18:05Speaker 3: start winning one or two games and then they want to,
- 18:07Speaker 3: you know, their team is going to the.
- 18:08Speaker 2: Superbowl, man.
- 18:10Speaker 3: Look, man, it's too early for all of that, man.
- 18:13Speaker 3: It's a long game. It's a long game.
- 18:15Speaker 2: So, uh, Check back with us come December, you know,
- 18:20Speaker 2: early January. Right. Hey, you're going to start to see
- 18:23Speaker 2: some things shake up. Things get tight, huh? Yeah.
- 18:26Speaker 1: Giants, 27-21 over the Texans in overtime. My favorite player,
- 18:32Speaker 1: not as a player, just my favorite player whose name
- 18:34Speaker 1: I like to say, Skadaboo, rushed for 124 yards.
- 18:39Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, he got that. 42 yards in overtime. J.J. McCarthy.
- 18:43Speaker 1: Let me just talk about my boy Skadaboo.
- 18:46Speaker 2: Okay, yeah. Yeah, you like to give Scataboo his love.
- 18:51Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 18:51Speaker 1: Is he somebody that New York can say, hey, this
- 18:54Speaker 1: is our guy.
- 18:55Speaker 2: We can trust him.
- 18:56Speaker 3: Well, honestly, late in the season when the weather gets bad, typically,
- 19:02Speaker 3: what does team do?
- 19:03Speaker 2: Dude, we're white.
- 19:04Speaker 1: We can handle cold weather.
- 19:06Speaker 2: Yeah, but they have to run the ball.
- 19:07Speaker 3: When you start getting late in the season, weather becomes
- 19:10Speaker 3: a factor, especially between rain, sleet, snow. You can't throw
- 19:15Speaker 3: the ball as much, so Again, for somebody like Scadaboo,
- 19:18Speaker 3: I mean, he has the build to be able to really,
- 19:23Speaker 3: as you said, close games. And so he has to
- 19:25Speaker 3: take it upon himself to be that closer. And even
- 19:28Speaker 3: with that comes a lot of responsibility because now you're
- 19:30Speaker 3: going to have the ball in your hand just as
- 19:32Speaker 3: much as the quarterback. So you have to protect the ball.
- 19:35Speaker 3: So a lot of fumbles, a lot of mismatches. Mistakes,
- 19:38Speaker 3: things of that nature, that can't happen. So for him
- 19:41Speaker 3: to be the closer, which you're saying, could he be? Yes,
- 19:44Speaker 3: I think he has the ability, he has the maturity
- 19:48Speaker 3: to handle that role.
- 19:50Speaker 2: Though. That's going to be the question.
- 19:51Speaker 1: Okay. Tampa Bay beat the dog smack out of the Panthers.
- 19:57Speaker 3: Man, I was surprised. You know, I've been raving about
- 20:00Speaker 3: Bryce Young, too. I mean, he had a very poor
- 20:04Speaker 3: outing this past weekend. Yeah, I was just talking to
- 20:09Speaker 3: a friend of mine. They was at the game, and
- 20:11Speaker 3: then I saw the score on the scoreboard.
- 20:16Speaker 2: 43-13.
- 20:16Speaker 3: Come across my page, and I'm like, what?
- 20:19Speaker 2: 43 to what? 13. Yo, I'm like, was there even
- 20:22Speaker 2: a game? And then I saw some of the highlights, man.
- 20:26Speaker 2: He had low lights.
- 20:28Speaker 3: Yeah. Bryce did not have a great game. They probably
- 20:31Speaker 3: wanted to redo this. If they could start this game over.
- 20:35Speaker 3: I think they would definitely do that.
- 20:36Speaker 1: So what's going through his head right now when something
- 20:38Speaker 1: like this happens?
- 20:40Speaker 2: Is he in the back yard throwing the ball through
- 20:42Speaker 2: a tire? Look, I mean, you got to be very
- 20:46Speaker 2: critical of yourself.
- 20:47Speaker 3: That's number one. Because you're a person that handles the
- 20:50Speaker 3: ball every play. Wherever the Panthers go, it's going to
- 20:55Speaker 3: be predicated on number nine. And he has to, I'm
- 20:59Speaker 3: sure he will take full accountability and responsibility. He has
- 21:01Speaker 3: to play better. He has to take care of the ball.
- 21:03Speaker 3: I think he had a couple of interceptions. I don't
- 21:06Speaker 3: even think he mustered maybe 150, 170 yards passing. Obviously,
- 21:10Speaker 3: it's a collective, it's a team effort. But somehow, some way,
- 21:14Speaker 3: to be elite, you have to find, to be in
- 21:17Speaker 3: that position as a starting quarterback, you have to get
- 21:20Speaker 3: the best out of your team.
- 21:21Speaker 2: No matter how it starts. It could be shaky. It
- 21:23Speaker 2: could be ebb and flow.
- 21:26Speaker 3: To be a star quarterback and to be who he is,
- 21:28Speaker 3: a Heisman Trophy winner, You got to find a way
- 21:31Speaker 3: to get your team in rhythm and on the scoreboard.
- 21:35Speaker 1: Because they're going to blame you.
- 21:38Speaker 3: Yeah, win, lose, or draw. You're going to get the bullet.
- 21:41Speaker 3: So you got to find a way to be able
- 21:43Speaker 3: to lead and lead your team to a win. But
- 21:45Speaker 3: I told you, he's accustomed to coming from a program
- 21:49Speaker 3: where he has elite players at every position.
- 21:54Speaker 2: And he's not really looked upon to do much.
- 21:56Speaker 3: That's a different, now he's in a different, different space
- 21:59Speaker 3: being in the NFL. Now everybody's looking at him solely
- 22:03Speaker 3: to be that star player, even when he has, you know,
- 22:06Speaker 3: I would say mediocre. Not that those players are mediocre,
- 22:09Speaker 3: but he doesn't have other superstars.
- 22:11Speaker 2: Yeah, and he doesn't have the greater talent as he
- 22:13Speaker 2: did when he was in college.
- 22:14Speaker 3: So he has to find some way to supplement what
- 22:17Speaker 3: he didn't have in college and make the best of
- 22:19Speaker 3: what he.
- 22:19Speaker 2: Has right now in the NFL on that team, on
- 22:21Speaker 2: that roster.
- 22:22Speaker 1: So Pittsburgh beat the Saints over in, did I still
- 22:25Speaker 1: say Gay-Paree? They were in Paris, which used to be
- 22:28Speaker 1: called Gay Paris. I don't know if you're allowed to
- 22:31Speaker 1: say that anymore.
- 22:31Speaker 2: Let's go. Let's go. Aaron Rodgers, baby Steelers. I told you.
- 22:35Speaker 1: Did you guys ever travel worldwide like that?
- 22:37Speaker 2: I did once. It was early in my career. We
- 22:39Speaker 2: went to Osaka, Japan. It was a quick trip. Does
- 22:44Speaker 2: that travel affect you?
- 22:45Speaker 1: I mean, we saw it happen with the Rams.
- 22:47Speaker 2: It was in and out. We had a couple of days.
- 22:49Speaker 3: It wasn't– yeah, we went– I think we was over
- 22:51Speaker 3: there maybe a week, if that.
- 22:54Speaker 2: That's a lot. We were in and out. It has
- 22:58Speaker 2: nothing to do with CTE.
- 22:59Speaker 3: It's just been a long time since that happened.
- 23:02Speaker 2: So I think it was like 97. So obviously, I mean,
- 23:06Speaker 2: you travel.
- 23:07Speaker 3: I mean, you don't even have to be a football
- 23:09Speaker 3: player to know what travel does to your body.
- 23:12Speaker 2: You can be jet lagged, depending on if it's three, four, five.
- 23:14Speaker 3: But it's obviously when it's– 10 plus hours, your body's
- 23:18Speaker 3: going to have to adapt and change.
- 23:19Speaker 2: And so you have to get adjusted to.
- 23:22Speaker 3: The field, really the time, everything. Your body has to
- 23:29Speaker 3: adjust because it's gone through a number of time zones. So,
- 23:33Speaker 3: I mean, it can, but I think if you're there
- 23:35Speaker 3: long enough to get acclimated.
- 23:36Speaker 2: Then you're good to go. But at the end of
- 23:38Speaker 2: the day, you're not the only ones dealing with those changes.
- 23:42Speaker 1: So Aaron Rodgers is now third all-time with 540 touchdowns thrown.
- 23:46Speaker 2: Congrats. No, he's third.
- 23:48Speaker 1: Tom Brady's number one and Drew Brees is number two.
- 23:49Speaker 2: Yeah. Dang, I wonder where Peyton Manning is. Peyton Manning
- 23:54Speaker 2: is now number four. Oh, okay. He surpassed Peyton Manning. Okay, gotcha, okay, gotcha.
- 23:58Speaker 2: Because I knew, I was like, man, he threw a
- 23:59Speaker 2: lot of touchdowns too.
- 24:01Speaker 3: So yeah, I mean, congratulations, kudos to, I mean, he
- 24:04Speaker 3: probably would have already had this record had he not
- 24:06Speaker 3: gotten hurt a couple of years ago. So this is
- 24:08Speaker 3: not surprising at what he's doing. But I mean, obviously-
- 24:12Speaker 3: Great accomplishment. I'm sure, again, this is just one thing
- 24:17Speaker 3: he can put on his checklist, and he's going to
- 24:18Speaker 3: surpass that. I don't know how close he can get to.
- 24:21Speaker 2: Okay, he ain't going to.
- 24:21Speaker 1: Catch Tom Brady at no damn 649. But he can
- 24:25Speaker 1: catch Drew Brees at 571.
- 24:29Speaker 2: Yeah, it's going to have to be a lot, a
- 24:32Speaker 2: heavy dose.
- 24:33Speaker 1: I'm not saying necessarily in one season, but if he
- 24:35Speaker 1: stays six around two or three seasons, he should be there.
- 24:37Speaker 2: This might be his last year. He's only 63 years old.
- 24:41Speaker 3: Yeah, you're right, but he's going to have to have
- 24:43Speaker 3: a heavy dose of us doing a lot of touchdowns
- 24:45Speaker 3: to my guy D.K.
- 24:46Speaker 2: Metcalf. D.K.
- 24:47Speaker 3: Metcalf needs to start really emerging, getting that ball into
- 24:50Speaker 3: the end zone. I look every week to see, you know,
- 24:53Speaker 3: he's making a few catches here and there. The volume
- 24:56Speaker 3: is really low. I don't really see a whole lot
- 24:58Speaker 3: of output. I mean, but obviously the main thing is
- 25:01Speaker 3: getting wins. Again, as a receiver, I mean, for somebody
- 25:04Speaker 3: his size, his caliber, I mean, like I said, I
- 25:07Speaker 3: don't know what his goals are. I mean, their team goals,
- 25:09Speaker 3: obviously their personal goals. But for him to be as
- 25:12Speaker 3: imposing and the size that he has, I expect more output.
- 25:17Speaker 2: More production from him.
- 25:18Speaker 3: Again, I don't know what the offensive scheme is and
- 25:20Speaker 3: plans are, but I think toward the end of the season, mid-season,
- 25:24Speaker 3: he'll start to find his stride and be able to
- 25:27Speaker 3: put that ball into the end zone. And, yeah, those
- 25:30Speaker 3: numbers may be, I would say, I ain't going to say,
- 25:32Speaker 3: like you said, not Tom Brady, but Drew Brees, it's
- 25:36Speaker 3: in striking distance.
- 25:37Speaker 1: You are now 10-11. Put the goddamn helmet back up there.
- 25:40Speaker 1: The Cowboys won.
- 25:42Speaker 2: No, they ain't. No, they ain't.
- 25:44Speaker 1: The cowboy helmet goes up when they win.
- 25:47Speaker 2: No.
- 25:48Speaker 1: Please share, subscribe, like, and rewind.
- 25:51Speaker 2: Where's the damn helmet? No, dude. They just won one game.
- 25:54Speaker 1: They won enough to go back up there.
- 25:56Speaker 2: Jalen wasn't even playing. Continue on, dead president. That is disrespectful.
- 26:01Speaker 1: Let's move on to T.O. 's Popcorn Power Five.
- 26:04Speaker 2: Yeah, let's do it.
- 26:05Speaker 1: Doing some bad mother suckers this week. I don't know
- 26:08Speaker 1: how you made this top five, but I'm dying to
- 26:11Speaker 1: hear it.
- 26:11Speaker 3: Hey, welcome everybody. This is my popcorn power five. Hey,
- 26:16Speaker 3: it was some tough decisions this week.
- 26:17Speaker 2: I ain't going to tell no lie. It was a
- 26:18Speaker 2: lot of people that popped off and balled out.
- 26:21Speaker 3: I mean, honorable mention, I mean, Tony Pollard in the
- 26:24Speaker 3: losing effort, 129 yards, three touchdowns, 155 scrimmage.
- 26:29Speaker 2: I mean, these are some of the- Some guys didn't
- 26:31Speaker 2: make it.
- 26:32Speaker 1: He didn't make a top five.
- 26:33Speaker 3: Malik Willis, 208 pass yards, 37, three total TDs.
- 26:38Speaker 2: He didn't make it. I mean, no. These guys did not.
- 26:40Speaker 2: These guys didn't make it. But let me tell you, T. Higgins,
- 26:43Speaker 2: 648 yards, a touchdown. Not good enough for you. Didn't
- 26:46Speaker 2: make it. But let me tell you who did make it.
- 26:49Speaker 2: Hold on a second.
- 26:49Speaker 1: I forgot to get some popcorn.
- 26:51Speaker 2: Ha! Let me tell you who did make it. Let's
- 26:53Speaker 2: start out with number five.
- 26:55Speaker 4: They....
- 26:57Speaker 3: They prevented the Chiefs from going undefeated, staying undefeated. This receiver,
- 27:02Speaker 3: I'm going to show some receivers some love. JSN, Jackson Smith,
- 27:06Speaker 3: and Jigba. Nine receptions, 150 yards, one touchdown.
- 27:11Speaker 2: Keep it rolling. The Seahawks are in the building. Number four,
- 27:16Speaker 2: Bo Nix. A total 295 yards total. That's lovely. 222
- 27:20Speaker 2: pass yards total. And a 62-yard rushing touchdown. This dude,
- 27:28Speaker 2: ball out. 73 total.
- 27:30Speaker 3: Number three, Michael Penney. This is another guy who's finally
- 27:36Speaker 3: starting to find his rhythm. It's been sort of a
- 27:40Speaker 3: quarterback carousel over there with Atlanta, with Tua, him.
- 27:44Speaker 2: I mean, I don't know. Matty Ice might come out
- 27:49Speaker 2: of retirement.
- 27:50Speaker 3: I mean, that's how crazy it's going over there in
- 27:52Speaker 3: the quarterback room over there. Michael Penance, 213 yards, three touchdowns,
- 27:58Speaker 3: no interceptions, prevented my 49ers from continuing to be undefeated. Man, Mike,
- 28:04Speaker 3: keep balling. I know you're a little injured, a little
- 28:07Speaker 3: banged up. You're coming back from an injury. Hey, man,
- 28:09Speaker 3: find your stride. Give Atlanta Falcons, get them something to
- 28:13Speaker 3: be excited about since Michael Vick.
- 28:16Speaker 2: All right, let's go.
- 28:17Speaker 3: Um, number two, the number two was got number two
- 28:21Speaker 3: and one was really tough.
- 28:23Speaker 2: Both of them are quarterbacks. Number two, Joe Burrow.
- 28:26Speaker 1: I was going to say the other guy.
- 28:29Speaker 2: This guy, 292 yards.
- 28:31Speaker 3: But what was most impressive about this is he had
- 28:34Speaker 3: all of his touchdowns after halftime.
- 28:37Speaker 2: That's crazy.
- 28:38Speaker 3: I mean, this dude, uh, it was like a, I mean,
- 28:41Speaker 3: he had a second half, like, like no other. So
- 28:44Speaker 3: shout out to the Cincinnati Bengals. Um, Joe Burrow, keep balling.
- 28:49Speaker 3: Get Jamar Chase and T. Higgins to ball. You get
- 28:53Speaker 3: those guys to ball, great things are going to happen.
- 28:55Speaker 3: You see what he can do in one half. Just
- 28:57Speaker 3: think about he put both halves together. Man, they're going
- 29:00Speaker 3: to need some new light bulbs over there.
- 29:02Speaker 2: I know who number one is. You already know. Number one.
- 29:06Speaker 2: Hold on, let me take a paint in my nail. Man,
- 29:09Speaker 2: this dude right here. Hold on, look. That's for you, Caleb.
- 29:15Speaker 3: Hey, Caleb, I paint my nails every weekend. Williams, uh,
- 29:21Speaker 3: 308 yards.
- 29:23Speaker 2: Um, how many touchdowns? Two touchdowns. Um, the man, the
- 29:27Speaker 2: Chicago bears. I mean, these guys are balling.
- 29:30Speaker 3: I don't know what else to say about him. I mean,
- 29:33Speaker 3: all I know is right now, He's definitely special. This
- 29:35Speaker 3: is his second week, over 300 yards passing. Pain in
- 29:40Speaker 3: the nails or no pain in the nails. You cannot
- 29:42Speaker 3: deny this guy's ability and his talent. I think this
- 29:45Speaker 3: is why they drafted him. He's starting to really, I
- 29:49Speaker 3: think at the end of the last season, going into
- 29:51Speaker 3: the playoffs, again, they should have gone further. Now you're
- 29:55Speaker 3: starting to see this guy really emerge. I think the
- 29:57Speaker 3: game is starting to slow down. Again, when you talk
- 30:00Speaker 3: about dynamic quarterbacks, between him and Patrick Mahomes, these are
- 30:06Speaker 3: the most two dynamic quarterbacks at that position.
- 30:10Speaker 2: Burrow, too.
- 30:14Speaker 3: When you talk about, I'm talking about getting out of
- 30:16Speaker 3: the pocket, making things happen on the run, being able
- 30:19Speaker 3: to throw the ball like on a rope, rolling left
- 30:22Speaker 3: or right.
- 30:23Speaker 2: Just making plays.
- 30:25Speaker 1: Or Josh Allen.
- 30:26Speaker 2: Making something out of nothing.
- 30:27Speaker 1: Josh Allen.
- 30:28Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean, yeah, you see my bills up there.
- 30:30Speaker 2: They good. Let's go. Let's go. That's your popcorn power
- 30:33Speaker 2: five right there. Let's go.
- 30:35Speaker 3: Football has a way of turning one game into a
- 30:37Speaker 3: full week of conversation. And DraftKings keep you close to
- 30:41Speaker 3: all of it. The DraftKings Sports app is now live
- 30:44Speaker 3: in all 50 states. That means from Texas to California
- 30:48Speaker 3: to Florida, every fan is in on the excitement. Follow
- 30:52Speaker 3: the teams you love, keep up with the biggest games,
- 30:55Speaker 3: and experience the excitement of football all week long. No
- 30:59Speaker 3: matter which game you're watching, you're always connected with one app.
- 31:03Speaker 1: Let's get to the pick.
- 31:05Speaker 2: Get to the picks.
- 31:06Speaker 4: All right.
- 31:06Speaker 2: We got Vikings-Lions. Vikings are 6-0.
- 31:11Speaker 1: The Lions are 4-2. This is an NFC North game.
- 31:15Speaker 1: Very importante.
- 31:16Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 31:17Speaker 1: The obvious, the layman, let's call me the layman, would
- 31:20Speaker 1: pick Minnesota.
- 31:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 31:22Speaker 1: Just because they're 6-0 and they're on a roll. Detroit
- 31:25Speaker 1: just did win last week, and everybody's very impressed.
- 31:29Speaker 2: Who you got? My spidey senses are telling me the Lions.
- 31:33Speaker 3: Really?
- 31:34Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 31:34Speaker 2: Why is that?
- 31:36Speaker 3: I saw how they won last week. Gibbs is due
- 31:40Speaker 3: for a game. Due for a game.
- 31:43Speaker 2: I'm in St. Ra. I'm in St.
- 31:46Speaker 3: Ra.
- 31:47Speaker 2: He's due for a game.
- 31:50Speaker 3: Jared Goff, they're going to get back to where they
- 31:53Speaker 3: were a couple of years ago, knocking on the door
- 31:55Speaker 3: of a Super Bowl championship. I think they're about to
- 31:58Speaker 3: start their rhythm, their stride. I don't know what's telling
- 32:02Speaker 3: me to say that. Like I said, maybe it's my
- 32:03Speaker 3: spidey senses, but I'm telling you. I think the Lions
- 32:07Speaker 3: are going to, hey, we're.
- 32:08Speaker 2: Going to go back. Okay. We're going to come back
- 32:10Speaker 2: to this right here.
- 32:11Speaker 1: Rewind.
- 32:11Speaker 2: Subscribe, like, share, and rewind.
- 32:14Speaker 1: Chiefs Broncos. Chiefs are coming off their first loss.
- 32:17Speaker 2: Yeah. Broncos are 5-2.
- 32:19Speaker 1: This is the AFC West race.
- 32:21Speaker 2: Matchup. You going back with your boy Mahomes? I'm going back.
- 32:25Speaker 3: They don't lose back-to-back very often, and you're going to
- 32:28Speaker 3: find a very motivated, pissed off Kenneth Walker.
- 32:32Speaker 2: So he might run all through Mile High Stadium. You
- 32:36Speaker 2: think it's going to be a blowout? I'm not going
- 32:38Speaker 2: to say a blowout.
- 32:39Speaker 3: But, hey, all I know, Kenneth Walker, he didn't have
- 32:43Speaker 3: 50 yards. I mean, you could have done.
- 32:46Speaker 2: What he did this past weekend. No offense to him.
- 32:50Speaker 4: No, no, no.
- 32:50Speaker 1: I mean, I know because of my knee injuries.
- 32:52Speaker 2: That's why you said that.
- 32:54Speaker 1: Ravens, Jesus Christ.
- 32:57Speaker 2: Crime it. Not looking so good in these last couple games. No, no.
- 33:02Speaker 1: But Lamar's hurt, but they say Lamar might be back
- 33:04Speaker 1: this game.
- 33:04Speaker 2: Okay, who they got? They playing the Bills. Ooh.
- 33:08Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 33:10Speaker 2: Ravens 4-3, Buffaloes 5-1.
- 33:12Speaker 1: This is for some AFC positioning. Do they bounce back
- 33:16Speaker 1: or does, you know, Buffalo smell blood?
- 33:19Speaker 2: Bella, I'm sorry. I usually ride with you with this team.
- 33:25Speaker 3: But you're going against the Buffalo Bills who are playing
- 33:28Speaker 3: very well.
- 33:30Speaker 2: A Josh Allen that is playing very well. And you
- 33:35Speaker 2: have now.
- 33:39Speaker 3: Lamar Jackson possibly coming back. I don't know how well
- 33:44Speaker 3: he's going to play coming back from this injury. It
- 33:46Speaker 3: takes you sometimes a good game or two to get
- 33:49Speaker 3: back in rhythm.
- 33:51Speaker 2: I'm going with the Bills. Sorry, Bella. We can duke
- 33:55Speaker 2: it out.
- 33:56Speaker 3: We can squash it some other time, but I'm going
- 33:57Speaker 3: with the Bills this week.
- 33:59Speaker 1: Next up, we've got Brown Steelers. Both teams are 5-2.
- 34:04Speaker 1: This is a division tiebreaker.
- 34:06Speaker 2: What are you thinking?
- 34:09Speaker 1: Who's going to be able to play four quarters of
- 34:10Speaker 1: football and come out with a win?
- 34:12Speaker 2: I'm going with the Browns. I'm going with Deshaun.
- 34:14Speaker 3: Deshaun's I'm telling you, my spidey senses are kicking in.
- 34:20Speaker 3: I'm feeling really kind of tingly. I'm really feeling tingly
- 34:24Speaker 3: about this one. I mean, this is going to really
- 34:27Speaker 3: separate and really kind of see where Deshaun Watson is
- 34:31Speaker 3: because this is not just a walkover opponent. And obviously
- 34:34Speaker 3: you've got a quarterback, very, you know, widely veteran in
- 34:39Speaker 3: Aaron Rodgers, Steelers, I mean– <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL>.
- 34:55Speaker 1: <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL>
- 35:11Speaker 1: You see this other receiver balling his ass off.
- 35:15Speaker 2: You mean your quarterback?
- 35:17Speaker 1: No, I'm talking about you as a receiver.
- 35:19Speaker 2: Oh, okay.
- 35:19Speaker 1: You're watching this guy balling his ass off, but you
- 35:22Speaker 1: know you want to play. You know you deserve to play.
- 35:25Speaker 1: You know you can play. But you see this guy
- 35:28Speaker 1: out there, and he's doing well. So Shadur is watching
- 35:31Speaker 1: Deshaun playing well.
- 35:33Speaker 2: Is he rooting for Deshaun with all of his might?
- 35:40Speaker 2: Or is he like.
- 35:43Speaker 1: I hope something happens so I can get in there.
- 35:45Speaker 2: No.
- 35:47Speaker 3: He's rooting for him. They're in the same meeting room
- 35:50Speaker 3: every day. They're learning from each other.
- 35:54Speaker 2: Okay, good.
- 35:55Speaker 3: This is a situation where, again, yeah, if all things
- 35:59Speaker 3: go right, then you're in there. But obviously, like I said,
- 36:02Speaker 3: you never want to wish something bad. to happen for
- 36:06Speaker 3: you to get your opportunity.
- 36:08Speaker 2: I'm talking about deep down. No, no. I'm telling you
- 36:11Speaker 2: deep down. And I don't think he wasn't raised that way.
- 36:14Speaker 2: He wasn't raised that way.
- 36:16Speaker 3: You're talking about Deion Sanders, one of Deion Sanders' kids.
- 36:21Speaker 2: Just knowing them.
- 36:22Speaker 3: The character of who they are, how they were raised,
- 36:24Speaker 3: that's not how they think. And I'm telling you, I
- 36:28Speaker 3: know that Shador is rooting for Deshaun. And obviously, at
- 36:33Speaker 3: the same time, he's being prepared and staying ready because
- 36:36Speaker 3: he knows.
- 36:37Speaker 2: He's seen it already. Right. The game can come to you.
- 36:42Speaker 2: That fast. What? With the snap of a finger.
- 36:45Speaker 1: You have webs on your thumbs.
- 36:46Speaker 2: That's why you couldn't hear it.
- 36:48Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 36:49Speaker 1: Bear Seahawks.
- 36:50Speaker 2: Yeah. Bears and Seahawks. Bears, Seahawks. Caleb's balling. Man, I'm
- 36:57Speaker 2: going with this. I want you to think about this one.
- 36:59Speaker 3: I know because, I mean, defensively, the Seahawks, boy, they pose.
- 37:05Speaker 2: A problem in the run game and the pass game.
- 37:09Speaker 3: They have one of the top five— defenses in the league,
- 37:13Speaker 3: in the National Football League.
- 37:15Speaker 2: Not in their conference, in the league.
- 37:16Speaker 1: Them are the people that shut down Mahomes.
- 37:18Speaker 2: Right.
- 37:19Speaker 3: Not only Mahomes, and they shut down Kenneth Walker. So, again,
- 37:23Speaker 3: they're going to have a similar guy back there, a quarterback,
- 37:26Speaker 3: they're going to have to contain. Can they contain him?
- 37:29Speaker 3: Can Caleb be the one to dismantle, kind of like
- 37:33Speaker 3: carve up the defense?
- 37:35Speaker 2: Is their running back strong enough? Are their front.
- 37:39Speaker 3: Five able to make some holes and create some holes
- 37:42Speaker 3: to get the running game going, to open up the
- 37:43Speaker 3: passing game, vice versa.
- 37:45Speaker 2: I'm going with the Bears on this one. It's going
- 37:47Speaker 2: to be a good matchup. I'm going with the Bears. Yeah, Caleb,
- 37:52Speaker 2: I need to see you spin that thing. Okay.
- 37:56Speaker 3: One app, every sport, all 50 states. New DraftKings customers,

- 39:01Speaker 2: What's up, everybody?
- 39:02Speaker 3: I know everybody saw the thing that happened, the incident
- 39:04Speaker 3: that happened over the weekend.
- 39:06Speaker 2: The three-year-old kid, they got the police called on him.
- 39:09Speaker 2: I don't know how they did this in that movie.
- 39:10Speaker 2: Police is just, they just don't know how to leave
- 39:13Speaker 2: people alone. Bro, what are you doing? Get this fucking
- 39:16Speaker 2: makeup off.
- 39:19Speaker 3: Anyway, before I'm getting rudely interrupted, anyway, all your aunts,
- 39:23Speaker 3: uncles out there, grandpas, grandmas, dads, moms, if you have
- 39:29Speaker 3: some special years, unique kids and obviously this three-year-old kid
- 39:31Speaker 3: is playing well beyond three years old if you have
- 39:35Speaker 3: some kids or you know nieces nephews like this and
- 39:38Speaker 3: you want us to highlight them on the get to
- 39:40Speaker 3: the point show.
- 39:42Speaker 2: Send us an email drop us a DM in the comments.
- 39:47Speaker 3: Let us know who the kid is, how old he is,
- 39:49Speaker 3: what he does special, what makes that kid unique. Matt
- 39:53Speaker 3: Barnes has a seven-year-old kid that's 5'2 already, wears a
- 39:56Speaker 3: size 10 shoe. They're already calling him the next Baby
- 40:00Speaker 3: Shaq already. But yeah, we would love to hear, love
- 40:04Speaker 3: to see, love to highlight your kid because I wish
- 40:09Speaker 3: I was that three-year-old kid. I mean, he was running
- 40:11Speaker 3: circle around.
- 40:12Speaker 2: They called the police on him. I know.
- 40:14Speaker 1: Look at me real quick. I can look in your shades.
- 40:17Speaker 2: No, I can't believe you.
- 40:19Speaker 3: You went from dead president to Chris Spencer.
- 40:23Speaker 2: Thank you. Better? Yeah. Back to get to the point. Yeah, sorry.
- 40:31Speaker 2: But yeah, if you got a special kid out there,
- 40:33Speaker 2: like I said, you want us to highlight him.
- 40:36Speaker 3: As you saw, this kid... was doing so much damage,
- 40:40Speaker 3: they called the police on him.
- 40:41Speaker 2: He was running circles. He was running circles around.
- 40:43Speaker 1: And he was playing in a league that was with
- 40:47Speaker 1: kids older than him.
- 40:48Speaker 2: Yeah, like I said.
- 40:48Speaker 1: They were like five and six years old. He was
- 40:50Speaker 1: three years old playing with, you know, five, six years old.
- 40:52Speaker 3: Were you like that at three? No, I was not
- 40:54Speaker 3: that good. This kid probably already got an NIL deal.
- 40:56Speaker 2: Yes, he do. At three years old. Yes.
- 40:59Speaker 3: I can only imagine, honestly, what he's going to be
- 41:02Speaker 3: like in his teenage years and adult years. I mean,
- 41:06Speaker 3: this is the three-year-old version of Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo.
- 41:12Speaker 3: All these guys, Mbappe, I mean, this kid is a
- 41:16Speaker 3: phenom at three years old. I mean, he already got
- 41:20Speaker 3: the police on him. They got the police on him.
- 41:23Speaker 1: Police wouldn't put on him until 1920.
- 41:25Speaker 2: I mean, come on, you're supposed to protect and serve.
- 41:28Speaker 2: Not the kids. Not the babies.
- 41:31Speaker 3: We got enough of that going on already.
- 41:33Speaker 2: Leave the kids alone.
- 41:34Speaker 3: I mean, the climate in which this world is in,
- 41:38Speaker 3: I mean, you got to think about With these police,
- 41:41Speaker 3: this is just not this state's police department.
- 41:45Speaker 1: Although it does happen a lot in Florida.
- 41:47Speaker 2: Right.
- 41:48Speaker 3: I mean, but again, as policemen, you should be understanding
- 41:52Speaker 3: and understanding and having a sense of discernment. We understand
- 41:56Speaker 3: you have an oath. You have a job to protect
- 41:58Speaker 3: and serve, but Use your discretion as far as how
- 42:01Speaker 3: you use your power.
- 42:02Speaker 2: You should be like, we ain't coming down there.
- 42:04Speaker 3: This is not a time to really flex your badge,
- 42:07Speaker 3: especially with a kid. I mean, you just never know
- 42:09Speaker 3: how kids may react to the police. I mean, police,
- 42:12Speaker 3: I mean, you got a gun, you got a badge,
- 42:14Speaker 3: you're in a blue suit. That could be traumatizing to
- 42:16Speaker 3: this kid. So we want to do something to obviously
- 42:19Speaker 3: elevate the kids.
- 42:20Speaker 2: There's enough.
- 42:22Speaker 3: Stuff going on in the world as it is already.
- 42:24Speaker 2: What you want to do? I mean, we need to
- 42:27Speaker 2: come up with a segment to obviously, like I said,
- 42:28Speaker 2: bring positivity.
- 42:30Speaker 3: To a negative situation like this, shed light on obviously
- 42:32Speaker 3: the kid. And obviously we're obviously bringing the police into it,
- 42:36Speaker 3: but we want to turn a deaf ear, blind eye
- 42:42Speaker 3: to what they're bringing, which is a lot of negativity.
- 42:45Speaker 2: Because again, you shouldn't have, as a police officer, you
- 42:48Speaker 2: should use your discretion in a situation like this.
- 42:51Speaker 3: Whomever called the police, they should be calling, they should
- 42:54Speaker 3: be actually talking and dealing with those people that called
- 42:56Speaker 3: the police on a three-year-old kid.
- 42:58Speaker 2: This is kind of out of their lane, to be honest. Like,
- 43:01Speaker 2: what are the police going to do? You know what
- 43:04Speaker 2: I mean? Take away his Happy Meal? Right. Exactly.
- 43:06Speaker 3: If anything, you address this with, I guess, I'm sure
- 43:10Speaker 3: there's commissioners of the league, CEOs. Or the coaches and say, hey,
- 43:13Speaker 3: this little black kid is kicking our ass. Is there
- 43:15Speaker 3: another grade level? I mean, he was already playing against
- 43:18Speaker 3: five and six-year-olds.
- 43:19Speaker 2: I guess he goes up to eight?
- 43:19Speaker 3: Right.
- 43:19Speaker 4: He's already playing.
- 43:21Speaker 2: Above his age.
- 43:22Speaker 1: Or maybe your kid sucks and shouldn't be playing the sport.
- 43:25Speaker 1: But for those who have kids that don't suck, you
- 43:28Speaker 1: kind of gave me an idea.
- 43:29Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 43:30Speaker 1: We should figure out a way to highlight those kids.
- 43:33Speaker 1: For people all over the country, all over the world,
- 43:35Speaker 1: people who watch GTTP pod or podcast. Send us videos
- 43:40Speaker 1: of your kid.
- 43:41Speaker 3: Let us know if you think your kid has a
- 43:44Speaker 3: special talent. And I know all parents think their kids
- 43:46Speaker 3: are special. Don't just be randomly sending us no videos.
- 43:50Speaker 2: Because we are going to tell you he was wrong.
- 43:52Speaker 3: Right, because if you don't want us to get to
- 43:53Speaker 3: the point about your kid, don't send it here.
- 43:57Speaker 2: We're going to get to the point. We're honest. Right,
- 43:59Speaker 2: because I'm going to assess.
- 44:01Speaker 3: And again, we all see kids that show extraordinary abilities
- 44:04Speaker 3: and talents at a young age. I'm sure Kobe's dad
- 44:07Speaker 3: saw him running around shooting balls.
- 44:10Speaker 1: Right, right, right.
- 44:11Speaker 2: All that stuff. You know, you got, you know.
- 44:13Speaker 3: Adrian Peterson, you know, running, you know, running into trees,
- 44:16Speaker 3: running over trash cans, all types of stuff.
- 44:18Speaker 2: You saw the talent.
- 44:19Speaker 1: Right.
- 44:20Speaker 2: Everybody's not going to be a LeBron. Everybody's not going
- 44:22Speaker 2: to be a Steph Curry. A Chris Spencer.
- 44:24Speaker 3: Right.
- 44:24Speaker 2: It's not going to all be Chris Spencer. That too.
- 44:27Speaker 3: Because, you know, you saw Steph Curry. You see the
- 44:29Speaker 3: highlights when Dale was with the Charlotte Hornets. He was
- 44:32Speaker 3: out there on the court just shooting buckets like from
- 44:34Speaker 3: half court.
- 44:35Speaker 2: If you're not that exceptional... Please be realistic with yourself.
- 44:39Speaker 2: But it might be fun to see some of them. No,
- 44:41Speaker 2: it's not.
- 44:42Speaker 3: Okay.
- 44:42Speaker 1: Only the talented will survive.
- 44:44Speaker 4: Right.
- 44:45Speaker 1: So send those. We'll think of a name of the segment.
- 44:47Speaker 2: Yeah, we got it.
- 44:48Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 44:48Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 44:50Speaker 1: Get to the points, talented kids or whatever.
- 44:52Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 44:52Speaker 1: Because it would be great to highlight these kids because
- 44:55Speaker 1: that was exceptional.
- 44:55Speaker 4: Totally.
- 44:56Speaker 2: Something T-O-Y. Totally outstanding. I don't know. The outstanding.
- 45:00Speaker 1: Chris.
- 45:01Speaker 4: Yes.
- 45:01Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 45:02Speaker 1: Can be superb or something like that.
- 45:04Speaker 2: Yeah, something like that. We got enough TOs and shit
- 45:07Speaker 2: around here. Yeah, let's find something that we can incorporate
- 45:10Speaker 2: the CS.
- 45:11Speaker 3: Yes. If somebody has an idea of how we can
- 45:13Speaker 3: incorporate the CS into the highlighting.
- 45:16Speaker 2: Of your kids. Children super. Yeah. Children super kid. I
- 45:20Speaker 2: don't know. Child super kids. Child superhero. Or superstars. Child superstars.
- 45:25Speaker 2: Child superstars. Something along those lines.
- 45:27Speaker 1: That boy good.
- 45:27Speaker 3: I mean, they had nothing better else to do than, like,
- 45:31Speaker 3: Call the police on a kid.
- 45:32Speaker 2: You should be ashamed of yourself.
- 45:33Speaker 4: What did they think they were going to do? Arrest
- 45:34Speaker 4: a three-year-old? Like, they should have arrested.
- 45:37Speaker 2: Whoever called them, to be quite honest.
- 45:39Speaker 4: Like, that's a waste of taxpayer dollars. They could be
- 45:43Speaker 4: out there fighting crime like Spider-Man.
- 45:46Speaker 1: While you were at the soccer field, somebody was getting robbed.
- 45:48Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly.
- 45:49Speaker 3: You want to attend to a call about a kid
- 45:52Speaker 3: being too damn good.
- 45:54Speaker 2: Ridiculous.
- 45:55Speaker 1: But nonetheless, get ready for this segment, please. Follow the podcast.
- 46:00Speaker 1: But when you do, when you share, like, and subscribe,
- 46:02Speaker 1: we want you to DM us your baby or your
- 46:05Speaker 1: friend's baby or your niece or your nephew and let
- 46:07Speaker 1: us see that talent.
- 46:08Speaker 3: Hey, Nevada, look, keep doing what you're doing, man. Don't
- 46:14Speaker 3: be discouraged. Keep scoring all the goals that you can score.
- 46:18Speaker 3: Just know we love you. You got a lot of
- 46:20Speaker 3: people supporting you.
- 46:22Speaker 2: And Miss Griffin, Martisa Griffin, we love you.
- 46:26Speaker 3: If you want to come bring your son Nevada on
- 46:28Speaker 3: the show, we want to highlight him. Obviously, there's a
- 46:31Speaker 3: lot of negativity, you know, so not you per se,
- 46:33Speaker 3: but surrounding the people that called on your son. Let
- 46:36Speaker 3: us show let us highlight him. Show him some love.
- 46:39Speaker 3: Give him his flowers because he's going to be given.
- 46:41Speaker 3: He's going to be given a lot of flowers. He's
- 46:43Speaker 3: only three, three years old and he's exceptional. Extraordinary talent.
- 46:49Speaker 3: You've done a great job with with him. Come on
- 46:52Speaker 3: on the show. Let us show you some love. And yeah,
- 46:54Speaker 3: we're going to get to the point.
