Mother Charged in Fatal Stabbing | Charlotte News
A deadly confrontation erupted outside a Charlotte business Tuesday night when Keyara McKnight, mother of the victim John Christian, allegedly stabbed him to death during a heated argument over child support. Witnesses say McKnight entered Christian’s vehicle before he pulled her out — then fled in a black sedan. Surveillance and license plate tech led police to Indian Trail, where McKnight surrendered, admitting to the fight and claiming Christian went from on top of her to on the ground.
